> Possible outerworld behavior: If Virgil fronts alone it’s almost exclusively with a sense of panic. Even if doing something that storm enjoys, he will still be slightly panicked, there might be a buzz in the skin or a tenseness in your entire body. If you’re experiencing some sort of anxiety or panic, Virgil will immediately alleviate that from whoever in front is experiencing it, at the cost of becoming stressed out rainself. I don’t have many, but I’ll share the ones I do have!

🌻 Lyla and Miguel play dress up a lot when Miguel is regressed, which leads to them pretending to be princesses, CEOs ( or “super serious and grumpy business people” in Miguel’s words, ) or anything else they can think of

❤️ they play this one game where Lyla will glitch around and Miguel has to catch her (sort of like tag except Miguel’s never it. More so like catching bubbles I guess lol)

🕷️Regressed Miguel has accused lyla of being a tooth fairy

💙 Lyla will make little hologram games for Miguel to play when he’s regressed, or she’ll download games. They’re mostly things like pong (I think that’s the name of it. It’s a ping pong game lol), frogger, and other games that aren’t too complicated (though frogged does stress him out sometimes. He once got so stressed out he didn’t want to ever talk about froggies again. Then Lyla showed him a picture of a frog in a hat and he changed his mind)

🌻 since Lyla can’t really cook him any snacks, he has a little mini fridge full of things to eat for when he’s regressed. When he’s done eating Lyla will play a little “Good job!” animation

Hey, thank you! ❤️ I actually get this question fairly often and I love it. I just reblogged a previous advice post on the subject, but essentially: exposure therapy is real! Learn as much as you can about what scares you. Read tons! I learn new amazing things about all sorts of animals every day, just by reading online and offline. Look at pictures and videos that are taken by people who appreciate them and find beauty in them. Maybe follow some spider/bug related blogs? Eventually when you feel like you can, you work your way up to seeing them in person. You don't have to get too close or touch them, but just watching them go about their business gives you a little look into their big world. You could even draw or paint some if you're artistically inclined.

Good luck, I admire your desire to get past your aversion. Loving and learning about the tiny creatures who live around you opens a new way to find happiness and discovery in your everyday life. At least for me!
