I have always asked myself a question: where was Q during the First Contact events.

I mean, if this horny omnipotent being would see his Capitan like this

Then, I think we would have absolutely different Startrek: Picard.

Look at these hands, these muscles and sweat. It's made for a strong hold and gentle strokes over the skin.

I can see how Q imagines himself, selfinserted instead of Anij, being on Picards laps, in his arms, protected (as if he needs it at all) from all evil around, being the whole priority and universe of this hot piece of a man.

Maybe somewhere in the universe, in his personal space quarters (which other Qs are avoiding as much as they could) he has walls painted with this hottie

Just like a teenfan in 2000× he would place posters all around and keep listening to the Capitan's log as if it was a new boysband album

I do see Q as a swiftie-like fan of Picard. You cannot convince me otherwise. He is obsessed and in love

Or at least, love is the closest to the feeling a Q can experience towards the human.

Wanna know something really weirdly ironic?

My middle name is Anij (but americanized spelling), which is the name of a character from an episode of Star Trek :Next Generation. In this episode, Picard gets brain zapped and thinks he got transported/stranded on a random planet and ends up living a life amongst the local population of humanoids. He becomes a part of the community, makes friends, is involved in the local leadership, even marries and has a kid!

Then he wakes up. It was a simulation made by a long extinct population of peoples, the same people he experienced an entire life with, so that their history would not be lost to time. He lived a whole life believing that he would never see his friends or crew again, settled into a new rhythm and new life, and then lost that too because it was all a simulation. Albeit a simulation with real people's memories and imprints of their personalities. NOTE: This was one of the episodes I didn't watch until I was much older, as my poor little child mind was very susceptible to existential dread.

Anyways, since I was about 10 years old, my biggest fear is that I would wake up and realize everything I knew was gone. Either it never existed in reality, or it simply ceased to exist entirely.

So I think my mom accidentally cursed me by naming me Anij. Either that, or its the DID/OSDD. I think cursed name is the funnier option
