Yaz: With Yaz, it's probably his softer side. He has a real soft side for animals, especially cats. I headcanon that he visits a stray colony that lingers near the fisherman's guild in Limsa. Feeds them. Even ended up taking one in, after she got into a bad fight. He also likes to crochet. Especially cute little plushie anigurumi type things. Marsnek: I think something that throws people off often is the fact Marsnek is also a businessman. Yes, he's incredibly hedonistic-- but he's a workaholic as well. People don't generally suspect the charming courtesan to also run an investigation & relic acquisition firm. Nor do they expect him to be so educated.

How does your OC want to be seen by other characters?

Yaz: Frankly, I don't think Yaz wants to be seen. Marsnek: Despite the fact Marsnek wants to be seen as a charming, amiable individual-- he ultimately wants people to assume he's weak and fragile. It's a lot easier to manipulate people & backstab them if need be if they don't suspect you're a threat.

What is your OC's fatal flaw? Are they aware of this flaw?

Yaz: This is so hard lmao It's probably his escapism/fleeing from problems combined with the fact he has a personality ripe for addiction. He did get severe alcohol poisoning and almost died, after all. Marsnek: I think, literally-speaking, Marsnek's fatal flaw is his tendency to cling to the first good thing. It repetitively puts him in situations where he's fallen for abusive men, and it has indeed almost cost him his life.

are granny squares considered the general starting point for people picking up crochet for the first time?

I honestly couldn't say. I only got into granny squares recently.

I think I started when I was a kid with fingerstitch and then when I got a hook it was just basic crocheting until I picked it up again, I wanna say late teens/early twenties, and just jumped into anigurumi.

Like I think just starting a simple square you could use as a dishcloth or pot holder if you wanted. I reckon just practicing basic rows to build up a muscle memory in your hands.

I've always found drawings easier to follow than videos and then once you learn the terms it's pretty easy to look at a pattern or even a diagram and follow along.

Like the blanket I made for Tash's kid I just saw a picture of a blanket and copied it cause I was familiar with the stitches and had enough know how to figure the pattern out.

It's not exactly the same but still pretty good I think.

That pattern is called the african rose and it's super versatile -

I made this chimkin for E made up of african roses that I also copied from a pic I saw on Pintrest.

Day 29 is the partner to day 27; a Snoopy to go with Woodstock. This is also a pattern by Yunie’s Handmade, and it took 6 hours to make. The yarn I used is Mainstay Basic in White and Premier Just Yarn in Night.

Take the time to talk to your enemy and work together. You have control. Take control. Sometimes it can be easy to feel like a ghost in the machine that is your body, but I promise you, there is so much life to breathe in. I write this with ease, but I still struggle with this often. Art and all of you bring me to life. The Foxes starting a crochet and knitting group is just !! I need them sharing patterns! Sending pics of projects to each other! Giving/sending gifts like little a plushy or jumper!
