PERSONAL MANIFESTO

Hey my 67 followers, 

ya know whats not cool and what makes me totally sick and frustrated? Here’s the list:

1. If you're a girl you cannot fuck, make out with whoever you want because you'll be called a slut, a whore, or even worse. But if you're a boy you can do everything you want and absolutely NO ONE will give a single damn. 

2. If you're a girl you cannot break up with your partner because you’ll be called a slut,  a whore, or even worse. Also you’ll loose all of your mutual friends that you had with him.  Surely they will take his side, he’s the one who has his heart broken, right?

3. Why the fuck person who made a decision about breaking up is not allowed to feel sad, disappointed, and doesn't deserve a single “Hey, is everything fine?”

4. Why, why, why the fuck when you're not shitposting everywhere about your mood no one feels obligated to ask you (from time to time)  how do you feel, how are things? Do I have to fucking jump from the bridge?

5. Why the fuck everyone seems to be so judgmental? 

7. Suddenly I have found out that in the 21st century. we are not allowed to make mistakes.

8. Have teens ever heard of something called ‘’Personal space’’? DONT THINK SO.

Sorry to say that, but im so damn disappointed with reality that I no longer want to exist.

One that got away

I missed a couple of New Years that I know of. They include the Positivist New Year, Auguste Comte’s reworking of the calendar with… wait for it.. 13 months of 28 days. Today is the Positivist Intercalculary day, which celebrates the dead, before new year tomorrow. I missed this one, and possibly others, that take place in early January. My research got better as I went through the year.

Comte’s calndar reminds me of the plan I made a few moths ago to make a calendar which celebrated women, after the Tranquility calendar failed to find one woman to celebrate. Nor, its seems, could Comte. His months:

Moses, Homer, Aristotle. Archimedes, Caser, Saint Paul, Charlemagne, Dante, Gutenberg, Shakespeare, Descartes, Frederick, Bichat.

And the days and weeks? Guess what? The Positivist Calendar "contains the names of 558 great men of all periods, classified according to their field of activity." (Comte as quoted on wikipedia)

I’m glad I missed your silly calendar Comte. Positivist my arse.

Hi there, This is my second message about flagged posts. Thank you for un-flagging two of my posts. Please see my previous message for details. It appears another post is still showing up on my tumblr page as flagged. But when I open "Review Flagged Posts" on my dashboard, it shows up empty. It looks like the post in questions is  a painting I made of the internal view of a uterus. The uterus is hardly adult content! There's also nothing else in the painting. I referenced medical photography. Can you please correct this? I'm also concerned about being flagged regularly. I make artwork about our relationships with our bodies. I don't post any artwork that I wouldn't want my child or students to see. My work is in direct opposition to the exploitation of women's bodies. I don't want to have to email you on a regular basis just because my work has bodies as the subject matter, even though the content is not adult-only. Please see my previous email on the distinction between content and subject matter. Please know that I am posting the messages I send to you and I will remove my artwork entirely if this continues to be an issue.
