Hello I mcyt fandom-ified la Team du Lundi members and wrote a shit ton of text about it

After exhausting myself on trying to catch up on the current QSMP lore I got a sudden craving for a more familiar and fast paced kind of minecraft content and ended up rewatching all the Team du Lundi's SMP best of's I could find

And while doing so with my brain still hazed in fandom brainrot, I started picking up on minor details or info the players casually dropped, and drew parallels to the French speakers' QSMP counterparts This is going to be a long wordy post I don't even know what I am rambling about and for. Three things you need to be aware of about la Team du Lundi before reading :

Baghera, Antoine and Etoiles are the only QSMP players that are part of la Team du Lundi

As far as I remember the only two elements that suggest that la Team du Lundi's SMP could be canon to QSMP are Antoine being pressured into building another Tower of Shit, and Baghera's infamous fountain being mentioned when she was asked if her character remembers anything from her past before the island

La Team du Lundi's SMP was NOT a roleplaying server, it was just a private survival server for a small circle of friends casually playing together. So whenever I quote someone in this specific post, it is the streamer : there is no character other than the persona the streamer is usually showing on stream, but I just thought it would be fun to interpret certain situations while keeping in mind the QSMP lore. And here goes :

Baghera claims that when she was a kid she strongly believed that she could breathe underwater. The others joke about her having fins

Antoine jokingly tells Baghera he doesn’t need oxygen at all

Antoine claims he will still be alive thousands of years forwards

Antoine’s voice shifts when he wants to appear creepy

Baghera built an aquarium at her place, then helped Antoine build one at his tower, then built a giant swimming pool, then a fountain, then a waterslide- do you see a theme ?

Baghera knows that her skin is actually that of a chick and not a duckling, and calls it so here

Chat said that Baghera has a middle child syndrome, justifying that she bullies Angle Droit because Etoiles bullies her in the first place (Etoiles has also called her « little sister » in a derogatory way)

Etoiles has repeatedly asked people to play Valorant with him at least once

Here's a clip of Etoiles getting languaged in french and owing "a gifted sub in the swear jar"

Etoiles is regularly refered to as "the warrior"

Etoiles guided the whole group during an expedition to the End and he was literally glowing doing so (enchanted arrows effect) Everyone called him "the guide"

Baghera was the one who gave the final blow to the Enderdragon (and died from magic right after)

Etoiles spent most of his time adventuring in order to bring stuff and gear back to everyone for their builds

Etoiles asked Aypierre for help in order to design a redstone door for his cave which could only open upon solving a puzzle (which was egg & arrow related) (Aypierre was not a member of the server)

Etoiles built a nightclub with the walls and ceiling covered in wardenblocks making it look like a starry sky. He also rehomed Allays holding golden apples inside claiming them to be the souls working for him and that they lived there peacefuly

Etoiles jokingly talks about Antoine acting jealous and violent towards him because Etoiles told him he wanted to go and visit Kameto (who also was not a member of the server)

Baghera (along with Horty) had a rivalry with Joueur du Grenier (host of the server with admin powers) after he decided to build a massive parking lot right next to their house. They countered by covering the whole thing with dirt, followed by JDG building a factory and the two parties went back and forth. Baghera argued that it was stupid because they didnt even have cars to begin with (which is a sentence she reused when talking about Forever's roads) Also she tells JDG that he could've built a seaport instead, which makes JDG contemplate the thought of building an airport (and though he ended up never building it, I am side eyeing the French's plane crash)

At some point JDG wonders about what a roleplaying minecraft server would look like (RPZ 2), to which Baghera replies that she has a hard time picturing the thing "We'd all just build things you see ? I don't think we'd create stories, we would all just be like "I'm a builder, ah you too ? Well awesome, builders, cool"" and I find this to be hilariously ironic (fun fact : Baghera had no idea that QSMP was a roleplaying server when she first joined and often claims she would've taken a different approach with her character had she known right off the gate)

As I was finishing to write this down, these fuckers (/lh) decided to host a closure night for the server as they've never really officially did it, everyone just sort of deserted the server after a while. Baghera, Etoiles and Antoine kept referring to QSMP throughout the night, mostly talking about how weird it felt without mods. Among other meta commentary things

They mentionned Cellbit and Bad multiple times as the group was trying to solve enigmas. Antoine talked about "the cultural sharing" between communities as he taught insults to each others with Mike, Roier and Maximus in their respective languages Multiple more players were namedropped (including eggs) while Antoine was talking about how the server functions

Yes, Baghera and Etoiles kept their QSMP skins. Etoiles with his code corrupted purgatory one, and Baghera with her fading pink disheveled hair (with the addition of her cubito wearing Horty's merch)

Baghera admits that going back to this small familiar vanilla server feels like coming back home to your family during the holidays

Team du Lundi's cameos in QSMP :

Though Pomme has never canonically met JDG (even though most of her parents have talked about him to her at least once), she occasionaly breaks the 4th wall to refer to him. She once compared one of BBH's "vacation" flower shirts with his, and when Foolish and Bad asked her to elaborate (obviously not getting the reference) she proceeded to play JDG's music theme with the flute instead (Also I really feel the need to once more point out how mindblowing it is for your average french speaking viewer to have JDG's intro theme being added to the mod they use in the QSMP because of how anchored it is within french internet pop culture. Like this shit has been existing for 14 fucking years, it's part of the childhood of a lot of us, so to find a clip of British hardcore player Philza peacefuly listening to Mexican egg admin Tallulah play this theme on her flute feels like a multiverse fever dream)

Horty has been on Quesadilla Island through cc!Baghera's account, but neither of them really wanted to justify it RP wise. Baghera just wanted to give her best friend a tour of the island. Horty only got to meet Richarlyson who gave her a tour of Cellbit's castle and made her pick a room (she chose Chaos). She also chatted with Etoiles who tagged along for a bit and (this is obviously justified by it being a one-shot out of roleplay filler episode kind of night) they both already knew each other and were on friendly enough terms to bicker with one another Also she was part of the French speakers Quackity reached out to to invite on the server, but she had to decline because she was very busy at that time (and also not interested) Also also she was Baghera's teammate for that Formula 4 event, and Baghera has discussed it and showed pictures to a couple of islanders, including Richas who was very hyped about it

Another player the viewers were hoping to see on Quackity's server is Mynthos. He exists within the server with the picture of him that hangs in Pomme's art gallery, the cursed animation video that used to play in La France, as well as with Aypierre's health potion factory that bears his name

Angle Droit and Zerator are sometimes namedropped when the French speakers talk with their chat. Angle Droit frequently raids Baghera's and Antoine's streams, and though it has never been confirmed, a lot of viewers theorized that she was the +1 player Baghera and Etoiles wanted to invite on the server had they won the elections.

As for Zera, Etoiles went AFK on QSMP a couple of times in order to test some of Zerator's TrackMania maps (which he later discussed with Pac). I also remember a very trivial conversation Etoiles had with Mouse and Aypierre where he laughed about hurting his back very badly after carrying a fellow streamer during a caritative event, said event was hosted by Zerator (he's also the one judging them with concern from his desk)

it seems I am not the only one insane about the idea of Pomme meeting the greater french family so here's some more headcanons in no particular order that expand on the previous post

(For background I'm mostly setting this like Pomme gets transported to the TDL server)

I think Mynthos would probably be the one she clings to the hardest at first. He's loving, speaks kindly to her, and would definitively be impressed with her builds. I can imagine her telling him all about the things Chayanne used to cook for her and her siblings and they would try to make it together based on her memory. It doesn't taste quite like what Chayanne made, it's different, but different is safe now.

Pomme would be so inspired by Angle Droits treehouse build, I imagine her immediately growing another tree next to her house to make another room for Pomme. Pomme would build another underground bunker for her own anxiety, but it would go largely unused. There's no longer anyone chasing her, no codes, no shadow government, no el quackity. She would probably have a different room in everyones house that she mostly goes back and forth between depending on the day.

Zera would do everything in his power to make her a menace like he is. Eventually in an attempt to impress him Pomme shows him the mines that Aypierre used a lot in qsmp. (Which worldbuilding wise would be uncraftable in the TDLsmp through natural means, but since Pomme had them in her inventory when she joined, were basically smuggled in.) While this would be fun and bonding at first I can absolutely see this going extremely wrong and trigger Pommes fear of explosions, typical hurt/comfort ensues along with Zera very suddenly realizing "Oh shit that's my niece protect her at all costs"

This incident is probably what leads to JDG putting her in the creative mode the first time, even as the server owner there's some things he can't quite change yet and isn't really willing to risk Pomme being stuck with two lives. So why not keep her from dying in the first place? Worldbuilding thing again, since you can't die in creative mod I imagine you can't feel anything either, which freaks Pomme out to no end as it reminds her of the way she felt when the code killed her by popping every single one of her totems in one hit and demands he change her back immediately. Which he does if a bit begrudgingly. He passes it off as just "Well its the easiest way to protect the kid and I don't wanna have to do more than I need" but deep down he is extremely concerned, both for her safety and her fearful reaction to creative mode.

It is still still a quick fix to protect her though... If he's awake at the time.

This is gonna reach a niche audience, but the Party as French streamers

Eleven is Baghera: They'd both ask the most innocent and genuine questions, but it seems so out of place it gets funny.

Dustin is Antoine Daniel: Look at this man. Tell me he doesn't thrive in chaos. Tell me he wouldn't make the exact same jokes, especially with...

Mike is Etoiles: I'm not talking about Dark Rayou, but look at this man, he is a try-harder and wakes up at 2 pm. Also, he and Dustin as Insuline et Nicotine is something I needed to see.

Max is JDG: The dark humour. The rage. The "Mon métier c'est de baiser ta soeur" adressed to Etoiles. This is pure JDG energy.

Lucas is Angle Droit: He's trying to keep his sanity with the others but ends up participating in their debates. Would definitely insult the president during a stream.

Will is Zerator: Everyone is fooling around and he's the only one focusing on the game so he wins rather often. That being said, he definitely can rage on games, and if it's the case you'll notice it.

Etoiles: Something that makes me laugh a bit is the fact that because there’s so many open plotlines it leads to fan theories that are sometimes really fun. There was a moment when my character’s skin, well, it was made for me with white eyes. And well I used it because I found it cool. And, actually, when I put it on, I read 65 tweets from people going, ‘hey, did you know that Etoiles’ character is blind because he actually lost his eyesight because he was—‘

Antoine: But you know on this server, the moment you say any sentence it gets overinterpreted in every way

Etoiles: It’s so funny—

Antoine: What’s wild is that there’s a billion theories on things, and for my part there are people that have understood some stuff about the theory and everything, which I find rather fun

Exemples de rendu (toutes les lignes) :

Aujourd’hui, je vous présente 3 techniques que j’utilise pour créer des lignes fluides, comme dessinées à la main, sur mes avatars. L’objectif est de vous montrer les différents outils utilisés - il y en a surement bien d’autres mais déjà, en voici 3 - pour que vous puissiez vous les approprier et les utiliser pour vos propres styles et graphisme !

(0 à 0.50s : introduction + je vous montre des avatars sur lesquels j'ai utilisés ces effets)

(0.50) Technique 1 : le pinceau

Avec l'outil pinceau, vous pouvez dessiner les effets et tracés que vous souhaitez ! Mais souvent, les tracés peuvent être un peu trop abrupts ou présentés des angles/cassures non voulues. 

Pour les éviter, ça se joue dans les réglages :

(1.18) Créer un calque vide pour pouvoir dessiner dessus et éviter de le faire directement sur une photo/image. Ainsi, vous pourrez plus facilement supprimer l’effet si à la fin vous n’aimez pas.

(1.40) Dans le panneau ds outils, choisir l’outil pinceau et dans les caractéristiques du pinceau, opter pour “pinceau arrondi net” 1 ou 2px d’épaisseur (pour qu’il soit assez fin), 100% dureté (pour qu’il ne soit pas flou). Dans le “flux”, choisissez 100% (ou un peu moins, le flux correspond à la pression de votre pinceau).  Dans le “lissage”, opter pour 80 à 100%. C’est le lissage qui va lisser (lol) votre courbe et la rende plus fluide. Si le lissage est à 0%, vous aurez des cassures dans votre courbe (voir à 3min le rendu)

(3.25) Dessiner la ligne voulue. Je vous montre plusieurs idées d'usages.

(4.40) Pour la couleur de votre ligne, vous pouvez soit la choisir dès le début soit ensuite lui appliquer un style à votre calque “incrustation de couleur” (l'icône fx dans le panneau “calques”)

Rendus exemple : la ligne fluide autour du texte ; la ligne qui contourne ; la vague ; les lignes qui entourent la photo centrale de Rachel. Mais vous pouvez aussi créer une silhouette de personnage, faire des effets “doodle” en changeant l’épaisseur du trait, entourer des mots...

(4.50) Technique 2 : le filtre “onde”

Effet plus hasardeux mais qui peut créer des rendus très cools et intéressants comme je vous montre sur l’avatar de Sydney Sweeney

(5.10) Créer une ligne avec l’outil “trait” + ou - grande - (à vous de faire vos tests) en 1 ou 2 px. Le rendu ne sera jamais pareil en fonction de la longueur, angle, l'épaisseur....

(5.24) Aller dans Filtre > Distorsion > Onde. Une fenêtre s’ouvre, choisir “convertir en objet dynamique”. Cela vous permet de revenir sur votre effet onde tant que vous le voulez alors que si vous choisissez "pixeliser", vous serez bloqué·e.

(5.32) Une fenêtre “effet onde” s’ouvre. On ne voit pas la ligne sur la prévisualisation de droite car on est sur un calque vierge (même si on peut changer ça en ajoutant avant un calque fond noir en dessus du calque ligne, puis en créant un objet dynamique en sélectionnant les 2 calques fond + ligne. Mais parfois, le hasard, c’est cool aha et j'avais du ma à expliquer à l'oral).

(5.50) S’amuser avec les différents réglages, en changeant les chiffres et appuyer sur “ok” pour voir le rendu ! Comme vous avez créé un calque dynamique, vous pouvez revenir sur votre effet en cliquant sur “Onde” où y'a un petit oeil à côté, apparu dans votre calque ;) 

(6.05 à 7.00) Vous pouvez mettre les mêmes chiffres que la vidéo pour débuter (générateur : 1 ; Longueur d'onde Min 47, max 60 ; Amplitude Min 51, Max 52 : Echelle 100% les deux) et ensuite, jouer sur chacun des réglages pour voir les rendus. C’est assez hasardeux mais j’aime beaucoup ce que ça créé : des épaisseurs différentes, + ou - de courbes... Parfois ça rend rien aussi !

(7.11) Technique 3 : la plume

Outil que j’utilise le moins sur Photoshop mais qui a le mérite de donner plus de contrôle au tracé, si on n’est pas à l’aise avec le pinceau et le dessiné à la main de la technique 1 !

(7.30) Définir le style de votre pinceau (nous on l’a déjà fait en amont mais il faut choisir son épaisseur, son style, sa dureté...)

(7.30) Créer un calque vide pour pouvoir créer votre tracé à la plume dessus.

(7.40) Choisir l’outil plume présent dans votre barre d’outils à gauche.

(7.45) La plume va créer différents points : en appuyant une fois, vous créer un point. Puis en mettant un autre point et en tenant appuyé votre curseur, vos pouvez créer des courbes grâces aux poignets. Créer le tracé que vous souhaitez. 

(8.30) Quand votre tracé est fait, clic droit dessus > Contour du tracé. Une fenêtre s’ouvre, choisir  “outil = pinceau” > Ok.

(8.50) Effacer le tracé plume en appuyant sur supp du clavier ou autre. Tadam votre tracé est bien là !
