I love this series so much, I don't even know where to begin. The 'falling in love with your best friend' trope has been done before. It's timeless and with good reason, especially when it's written as well as you have done it.

Something i love about your writing is how the descriptions reveal themselves like a present. With each line we learn more about this world you've created. Whether it be about the characters themselves ( inner dialogue, motives, literally who they are as individuals... etc) or the setting. It really is in those details that brings things to life.

On that note, the way you write characters is more than addicting. They are so full of personality, each and every single one of them are distinct and just so vibrant. As I've mentioned earlier, you've somehow made it so that they are truly their own individuals and not just decorum for the story. I love the way you write reader here, she is so relatable. Like for real, she reminds me so much of myself lmao. In many of the scenes I'd think ' I would definitely do that or think that too.' My favourite thing about your writing is how effortless the banter is between the characters as well as their dynamics. It makes everything so much more enjoyable, like we are a part of this friend group. The humourous touch also creates a wonderful balance between the angst sections.

spoiler: This story specifically relies on the readers point of view for the most part, so I love how unreliable her pov is. Her assumptions of jk and his relationship with nayeon keeps driving a wedge between them and she's more susceptible to taehyungs tactics. It also makes me wonder if taehyung knows more than he lets on. If he does... Why doesn't he just say something ?? 😫 I'm so worried that if this continues it'll get to a point where jk and reader's relationship might not be salvageable, they just keep hurting each other because they don't communicate; especially if she agrees with tae's proposal. However, bc of what reader experienced in the past with jk and siyeon, and how he treated her, I don't blame her for jumping to conclusions the way she does in the current timeline.

Anyways, I'm probably speaking nonsense at this point. Just know that I really love what you have for the series so far. You're a comfort writer to me so don't expect this to be the last review from me, hehe. I'll be reading and rereading from you often.

Your days off finally matched up and after waking up later than usual, Jungkook is feeling well rested and quite amorous.

+ highlights: I am in love with the way you set the scene here. It made it so easy to be immersed and feel like we were really there in bed under the duvet with jk 🥺 There are tiny details like the description of the cold weather too and it made the entire thing more cozy. I loved the use of contrast in that way!

I live for reader and Jungkook’s dynamic! Their relationship seemed so authentic, just what I envision a fwb relationship would be like with him. One with lots of teasing and of course, it wouldn’t be jk without mentioning his competitive streak.

For years as a sculptor, you felt detached from your own work - unable to title them, describe them, name the most basic emotions that artists should be in tune with. A chance encounter with a man one winter night finds you in a journey of finding your own meaning. And as you slowly discover what it means to create and to feel, you find out that this might also be what pulls both of you far apart.

+ highlights: I am feeling so many things all at once and strongly at that, that it is almost painful. you captured everything I love and admire about Namjoon and formulated it into something so beauful and introspective. The themes of love and intimacy are some of my favouite to read about. You've executed it so beautifully. The story is gut wrenching in all the right ways. There wasn't a moment where my heart wasn't in my throat, I feel so much for this couple.

I feel so much for Reader and Handong. The dramatic irony here is what makes everything so painful. Reader spending this night with her knowing it’ll be the last while Handong remains none the wiser (I am ill).

Your writing was so beautiful and that is what makes it more painful. The contrast of Handong’s pleasure, and what lies ahead just beyond the threshold of their relationship. How reader can’t help herself and continues to fuel the fire.
