As the fall comes I’ll start to release some new music clips. This is a clip of the first song on the new album called “Night Gathers”. I think it captures the autumn vibes. Who wants an album soon?! Golden Leaves is almost out! I’m so stoked to get these guys , on sale this fall! All proceeds will go to my next project which is to raise enough to record in the old analog format and make a full length vinyl album. A lot of modern print vinyls are original digitally recorded material, the actual sound enhancement of vinyl albums comes from the analog recording process not the fact that it’s made into vinyl records. So the idea is to make an album the old school way like my musical heroes , one take and roll the tape kinda stuff. For anyone who wants a cd of this homemade album I’ll be posting a link before the release for preorders! Learning the analog process of recording is pretty wild and different than a laptop where you just start and stop whenever and editing is a breeze. Today was fun and after laying down acoustic base tracks i used old fender, Supro and Marshall amps to layer some electric riffs. It’s been fun to do something so out of my comfort zone and explore the medium I enjoy listening to most (analog).
