Oooh, my very first ask! My heart flutters! <3 With the original version of the story, it had never entered my brain. Since working on the improved "Director's Cut", the thought has crossed my mind...Briefly. I'm certain it's a 99% chance of unfortunately, no. I say that because silly fourteen year old me had intended this to be a goofy slasher household fanfic, and I do want to keep that true. I did have a thought of Jezelle Hartman from Jeepers Creepers calling Jennifer up on the phone (when it gets repaired) and warning her of vague and cryptic dangers; That she sees her with "lots and lots of air fresheners!" (the air fresheners are coming, believe me) and other frightening things...But then it occurred to me that, aw, she might not be alive anymore and I might not be able to indulge that. (Perhaps I will still indulge it, because this is the world of fanfiction, but you know~) But other than that possibility? I've been building the tale solely off of slasher characters and neighborhood/friends/victim characters. I do apologize if the answer wasn't what you had hoped to hear, but truly I must thank you again for dropping by and blessing my Ask Box. Hey I’m rewatching horror/slasher movies any new ones u recommend??? :)

I haven’t seen a lot of newer ones myself, but I think most of the good ones that have come out recently are already pretty well known! Some of these aren’t really slashers or even all that scary, but here’s a few of my favorite.

The entire Hatchet series is amazing. Lots of cameos, hilarious, gore/sfx is creative and looks pretty good. I know some people don’t like one or two of them, I think they’re all great and I watch them as part of my Halloween movie set every year.

Not exactly scary, but I absolutely love Wicker Man not the bee version. Music slaps, visuals slap, Christopher Lee S L A P S. There’s a sequel but of course it’s kinda meh.

The original My Bloody Valentine is one of my favorite slasher movies. The version with the previously cut scenes is 👌. I didn’t like the remake at all, but it had some okay moments.

Blood for Dracula/Andy Worhol’s Dracula is one of my top favorite movies ever, even outside of horror. It’s older (1974) and was clearly made on a budget, the acting is so bad it’s good then circles back around to bad, no one has the same accent and the effects are basically nonexistent. BUT for some reason I love it. I think a remake could actually be really, really good but I doubt it would ever happen.

Phantom of the Paradise is an ExperienceTM. Lowkey don’t trust people who don’t like it.

I’m not sure which of the VHS movies I watched, but I liked it and almost all of the shorts were really good.

The Devils Backbone - del Toro, so you know it’s good.

The Collector + sequels, Candyman, Terrifier, Leprechaun + some sequels, Dale and Tucker Vs Evil and Jeepers Creepers are also some I liked.

Oh hmmmmm I don’t really think I thought about it much until I saw this lol you’re def right about Jason being Freddy and Leatherface being Chica it fits the best I would say. Probably wouldn’t use Creeps as the night guard tho, Purple Guy would be Pamala Voorhees, Laurie Strode would be the night guard from 2 and Andy Barclay would be the guard from 3 and the kid from 4 I’d say.

As for Chucky, Freddy and Michael I’d have to sort it out later!

😰  –  who’s one character you desperately want your muse to interact with?

most of them aren’t other slashers, contrary to popular expectation of slasher blogs  --  there are a LOT of wonderful ladies    ( and a couple dudes )    from the jeepers creepers trilogy, though, that i’m super fucking interested in.  

trish and jezelle from the first movie are especially important, as they both have an intrinsic understanding of dulu’s hidden humanity  &  try to analyze / appeal to it.  he also intentionally avoided harming either of them, which leads to a potentially very complicated dynamic right off the bat  --  especially considering trish’s vendetta against dulu at the end of the third movie.  darius, being a  ‘part’  of dulu now    ( a consciousness trapped in his head, still able to communicate telepathically with him )    also has the potential to fuck dulu up.  PLEASE haunt his big, stupid ass.

minxie from the second movie is also important for her ability to telepathically converse with the creeper’s  ‘family,’  AKA members of dulu’s soul cairn  --  and to wedge herself into dulu’s memories.  she’s a blossoming psychic just now discovering shit about herself, and the stronger she grows, the more intimidated by her dulu will inevitably become.  i’m also super invested in jack taggart sr., izzy, andy, and D from the second movie!  jack appeals to me because he, like trish, forced dulu to extend some odd semblance of mercy / compassion.  izzy and andy are two intelligent, capable young men who are strongly suspected of being gay  --  dulu spares them both, seeming to intentionally abandon his efforts at killing andy and never going after izzy specifically in the first place.  D is a very liberal but strong-headed guy who dulu peeped on during a peeing-in-the-bushes sesh, and had  ...  a VERY blatant crush on him.  all very beloved characters.  i love the cast of the second movie a whole fucking lot.

the only salvageable character from the third movie is addison’s grandmother  --  she’s the only surviving person who knows the creeper’s history, how he works, and how to hurt him.  she’s got one hell of a bullish personality, a knack for vengeance, and a scowl that’d make even dulu’s blood run cold.

Rose McGowan

Rose McGowan is what people would believe is a white feminist and I actually agree on that. I’m sorry that she had to go through that traumatising incident around incident, but sometimes when she does things it’s seems like she only cares about helping herself than others, when many victims of Harvey Weinstein have went through the similar or the same exact thing as she has. A white feminist is someone who doesn’t help the POC, disability women or the LGBT. Their only job is to help the people that are the same as them, which is a white straight female. Rose McGowan has done things that’ll explain why people would say why she’s a white feminist or why she shouldn’t be called a feminist.

In 2011, she did an interview and mentions registered sex offender Victor Salva. Victor Salva was this director who directed the Jeepers Creepers franchise and also directed a Disney movie. A kid in one of his Disney movies told the police that he was molested by Salva and the police also child pornography in his home. He was only in prison for 6 months, he was registered as a sex offender, but the worst is that he was allowed to work in Kid’s company like Disney. Someone committing a crime is worst, but someone defending the criminal because they worked with them is just as bad and that’s what Rose McGowan. She defended a registered sex offender. In the interview she says “yeah, I still don’t really understand the whole story or history there, and I rather not, because it’s not really my business. But he’s an incredibly sweet and gentle man, lovely to his work and a very hard worker”. This type of quote is something straight out of lesson of if you work with Woody Allen, you have act like you didn’t knew and talk about how great he is. Since Rose McGowan is a victim of assault and rape, it’s safe to say that this is technically her business.

Last year, Ellen DeGeneres tweeted about Mississippi recent laws being that medical practitioners to refuse services and treatment of LGBT+ patients due to “religious objections”. Ellen response was “Right now in Mississippi, gay people can be refused service, and trans people can refused treatment. Mississippi, you deserve better”. That’s when Rose McGowan decided to response to the tweet by saying this “Right now in America, birth control is taken away and abortion is almost illegal. Speak for women as well plz. Huge platform”. It seems like Rose McGowan doesn’t that gay people or transgenders exists or thinks that females (straight) have so much problems than the LGBT people when that isn’t true. LGBT women go through so much shit than a straight white Women, it’s even worst your both an LGBT and a POC.

Recently Rose McGowan had an argument with a transgender woman at an event. The transgender decided to stand up to Rose and say that she doesn’t help the transgender person who have been victims of sexual assault. However apparently the same transgender person has been accused Sexual Assault to young girls at the age 12 to 14. Only victim has come out and told her story, but it’s still a question whether this is true or not. Unless another victim comes out or Andi Dier (the transgender) response to the allegations. Whether she changed her gender from male to female, that doesn’t change on what she might have done in the past. Rose McGowan seem to think that the reason why she got called out is because she’s a woman. It doesn’t matter, you’ll still be called out if you were a man who self proclaims themselves as a feminist.

Rose McGowan does do good things, but sometimes she’ll say something a bit controversial and I’m over here like “Rose, please shut the fuck up”.
