vague woebegone thoughts. im actually just kind of tired but dont want to sleep yet

am now 40 episodes behind on woe.begone and i while i think i could start listening again from where im at bc i have a pretty good idea what was going on still im thinking about relistening from the beginning. im kind of curious just how weird season 1 feels now. everything past then blurs together a bit for me (i could not tell you where the s2 and s3 or anything after breaks were) but it just becomes a different story. i think that happens multiple times probably but i feel the past few seasons(?) its been kind of stable? like oh this is what were doing. except i never really knew where the plot was GOING ever. i think its actually probably quite noticable when the story takes another turn and it’s just blurs together for me because i was bingelistening to. probably most of it. and also i havent listened in 10 months

with timetravel or different timeline bullshit you have to write in a way  so it doesnt get too confusing or gets hung up on itself and stops making sense. and the thing is i kinda extremely dont gaf about that with woebegone. literally do whatever. and like there IS stuff that made me pause sometimes andwonder about how this thing is written (as in the process).     but i mostly just dont care im just here for the ride

anyways what i REALLY want though is cowboy michael supercut i just gaf about him. ik hes a fan favourite and theres a good reason for this hold on i had tweets about that

okay so I have this michael afton x reader idea and i kinda want someone to write it cause yk i suck at writing and stuff

so here's the idea

maybe a bit out of the fnaf lore or whatever but what if ennard went to michaels house in michaels body (which is already starting to become purple) and saw michaels spouse, (y/n), and decided to take/use their body instead because it was healthier than michaels

and then michael wakes up and realizes that hes home and the change in his body too andwonders wbere did ennard go or smth and tries to look for y/n but notices that they arent home and boom crash he now realizes that ennard took their body

!! For Etoile, you shoulda known this was coming.

You first met him online, and he seemed okay. Nice enough fellow, not too terribly different from a few folk you knew. There was something in common, a few things you could talk about, share, so forth. There was SOMEthing there you just couldn't place. Definitely a 'well this guy seems chill, would love to get to know him better'.

You first met him in person at the Christmas party. You talked long into the night about energy, reincarnation, lots of strange and varied esoteric things that you didn't entirely remember. You did remember how... intense he watched you. You thought at first it might be he was staring at your prosthetic Eye, shiny and glowing as it tended to be. But eventually you figured it was just the guy had this way about him, giving his all of his focus to who he was speaking to. When you spoke it was like the rest of the world didn't matter to him, he wanted to just take in all of what you said and while it might've been off-putting in other circumstances, it was... sweet? Charming? There was a word you couldn't place. He was also, quite likely stoned out of his gourd because he didn't seem to remember any of it later. Which was all well enough but it left an indelible mark on you.

You first met him for real at the cafe, when he was working on some vulture culture stuff, and you had a chat about... you forget this one. Things all blended together a little into too-blissful a pleasant haze there. You remember mushrooms, art. You went on a walk together and gathered some fresh morels, showed him a few things that were safely edible. Explained the easy tells of the ones that were deadly dangerous. Again with the intense stare anytime you opened your mouth. Did he do that to everyone? Was it something about meeting another Circus not an alt of his that drew him to you? Not a day went by that apparently, a troll version of yourself showed up. Right after the guy mentioned something about missing there not being more Circus about aside his alts. There was no way that was Coincidence.

You first met HIM after you were dating Etoile proper. The difference between the two of them was palpable. Etoile was sweet and rasp and shy and cuddling. He was starlight and smiles. He made you want to protect him. He was friend first and all else second. He seemed most content when you were just cuddling, running your fingers through his hair until he melted just a little. He was attentive and curious and lovely. Z was honey and silk and assertive and need. He was the darkness and the knowing smirk. He made no small words about not needing you to be so gentle. He near demanded worship and definitely demanded loyalty. He was more than willing to pick up in the physical affection area where Etoile might be hesitant. Not that you cared too much either regard. His curiosity seemed... different. Hungry. You can deal with hungry.

Certainly with someone as attractive as this boy. He may not see it, or at least acknowledge it, but you really did find him quite appealing. His hair was fluffy and full of stars, eyes like mismatched amethysts. You both had one working eye between you and it was the same one. Your left his right, so when you looked at each other, you literally saw eye to eye. His smile. You don't know as you ever met someone with a more charming little smile. Something about his general aura that just made a smile from him light the room. Or was it just that you enjoyed making him happy? Eh, who cared. Seeing him smile was potentially the best thing in the world. Hearing him hum excitedly too. His reactions whenever you did something small and sweet for him. His terrible andwonderful fashion sense? You could totally see him wearing bowling shirts and golf pants all his life unironically and love it. It made you wonder if bright colors were like, Goth for Alternia, with the whole Sun Is A Deadly Laser thing. You wanted to see him get to a healthy weight though. That was your main concern about his 'look'. The rest, well. You didn't really put too much into looks as personality, every bit as magnetic as anything to do with his looks proper. It was the attitude that drew you in and made you want to get to know him better as it is, to spend more time with him in general.

And personally you could think of nothing better than quiet nights in with him, gentle days out, just the pair of you, doing something you mutually enjoyed. If he's the one you end up with for the rest of your life you'd be more than pleased. You know his moirail made a crack about giving you permission to human-marry Etoile. But it made you wonder, how much has he talked about you to his alt, how much has he wanted the same thing? Would he be interested in such things?

Maybe you should ask. Sometime. Now that you can safely say you're probably past the kid glove phase, since Z had said to stop that, to make mistakes and fix them later. That no amount of mild fuck-ups was going to jeopardize this. That he didn't reasonably see you having the potential to fuck up badly enough to ruin this. Which made you wonder how much he'd been through. How forgiving he really was? The only real deal-breaker for him seemed to be a lack of loyalty and that. That was one thing you'd never do. There was no way on this Earth or any other you could possibly do anything you KNOW would break his heart. You couldn't bear the thought.

Which was potentially how you could tell how totally hopeless you were for him.
