Any company would be better than none, but Brett’s would be preferred over any other. He dried himself off in Brett’s room, the man was absent, and his clothes were gone, but a set of Brett’s shirt and boxers were on the bed. He must have taken the clothes to wash, they had made quite a mess, he could have-should have been the one to do that. It made him smile, Brett didn’t treat him like a tool, or a machine, he did things for him. Thanks to him he had his own clothes, but he also relished the excuse to things of Brett’s. 

“Damn.”

He’d been aware of Brett being near, but was slightly surprised by the reaction he got, then again he was standing fully naked in the middle of the man’s room. 

“Is there a problem?” he asked, looking back over his shoulder at where Brett stood in the doorway, not fully understanding the reaction.
