May I please request an Android 17 fic where the reader is a divorced single mom, cynical about love and relationships, and good friends with Android 18? He’s obviously interested in her but she’s skeptical because of how bad her marriage was and he has to put in extra work to get with her 🥺

I honestly enjoyed how you requested this fanfic and considering Dragon Ball Z is 1 of the 1st animes I remember watching (aside from Sailor Moon and 1 of the Gundam anime series), plus being familiar with both Android 17 and Android 18, I will definitely see with writing this fanfic you requested for😁👍

💐🧡How Will He Ever Be Able To Win You Over?🧡💐(Android 17 x (Female Reader)

Genres: Character Having To Win Reader Over Fluff (Warning ⚠️: Depending on the reader's imagination)

You met Android 17 when your friend Android 18 introduced you to him, since you needed a babysitter to take care of your child, considering you're a single mom and you had no other choice except to let Android 17 babysit your child. So, whenever you return home your child always got along with him and your child somehow bonded with him. Your child also always look forward to spending time with Android 17, "the baby sitter" for some reason and even asked both Android 17 and you about having Android 17, as your child's "new dad", which you told your child that relationships, love, new marriages, and any being your child's new father is not something you're planning to have anytime soon.

One day Android 17 said, "Hey, sis! Can I talk you for a minute? It's important... I'm interested in your friend... The problem is she might be uptight and frightened, as if I couldn't be trusted or something... Is it me that she has something against or is there more to it?", as he's trying to get Android 18's perspective about you. She replied, "It's not exactly a you problem, if I'm being honest... You see, brother... (Female Reader Name) had some abandonment issues, for good reasons her child didn't care for the biological dad who is now her ex husband, and she had a horrible marriage with him due to (up to the reader's imagination on her marriage went horrible, which (is/are) the reason(s) why the reader and the ex husband are divorced), so if you want to atleast be in a relationship with (Female Reader Name) you are going to have to put in tons of work to be with her and to keep her. I might be able to help you.". Android 17 was surprised and glad Android 18 is willing to do her best to try to help him win you over.

As time went by despite of her efforts to help you put the extra work into trying to atleast win you over, you're still very cynical about love, marriage, having anyone be a step-parent (especially a stepdad) for your child (no matter how much your child begged your mom), and even a relationship. If it wasn't for Android 18 convincing Android 17 to keep trying to win you over, giving him advice, and encouraging him, he would have gave up before then, however she madesure to keep helping him and for him to never give up on trying win you over, no matter how long it takes, since his efforts might eventually pay off. One day Android 17 went shopping with you and your child, as part of his quality time with you and your child, as he heard a voice say, "Aaaaawwwww how sweet... Too bad you'll never get a girlfriend, mr. baby sitter!", before he looked to see it was Vegeta laughing at Android 17's expense. "Let's go Vegeta... Leave him alone! You don't know why he's there! I'm warning you that it won't end very well for you, if you make him mad, especially when you're laughing at his expense!", Goku tried warning Vegeta not to mock Android 17. "Shut up Kakarot! Can't you see it amuses me to poke fun at someone's expense! He's such a hopeless (up to reader's imagination what name Vegeta calls Android 17), because he will never get a girlfriend due to the fact on how soft he has gotten!", Vegeta replied to Goku, as he refuses to listen to Goku for the sake of mocking Android 17.

As Vegeta continues to laugh at him, Android 17 decided he already had enough with being poked fun at like he's a joke to anyone, especially a joke to Vegeta, as he then decided to walk up to Vegeta, then stomped on Vegeta's left foot hard as possible, before kicking Vegeta in the shins (the right side), as Android 17 proceeded to shout, "Don't you dare mess with me, as if I was some joke to you! And if you mess with this woman I'm hanging out with and her child, it would have been worse for you!". Android 17 looked at you, because he thought you were trying to hide being upset, then when he heard a snicker come out, he began to realize that you were actually amused and trying to not laugh, as your child then happily said, "Let's go, my new dad! I knew there's a reason why I think of you, as awesome and I was right, about you!". Android 17 smiled at your child as he then decided to walk back to you and your child to continue his shopping with both you and your child.

As Android 17, you, and your child walked away from Vegeta to get to an area where Android 17, you, and your child need to be, a humiliated, Vegeta then pleaded, "Kakarot! Please help me up! This is embarrassing for this to happen to me!". Goku then replied, "I will help you get up, but you brought this on yourself! I told you not to mock the guy!". Meanwhile Android 17 and your child couldn't help, but laugh about Vegeta complaining about the karma he got from him, due to Vegeta laughing at Android 17's expense, despite if Goku warning Vegeta not to continue aggravating Android like that. You then asked, "Hey Android 17... Can we have a talk?". Android 17 shook his head "yes", as then prepare to be told not to hit anyone again.

Instead of what he's prepared for, you told him, "You still need to put extra work, before I do consider being in a relationship with you, but what you did to Vegeta, I respect that... And it's a big start... I know my husband wouldn't have done what you did and he would have proven to me that he's never willing to fight for me nor my child... You on the other hand have proven to me that you have guts to fight for my child and I... Now, I can see why my child wanted to you to be the "new dad"... Despite of you still needing to put a little extra work into our relationship and taking care of my child and I, I think I may have been, too hard on you, because of my horrible marriage with my now, ex husband... Put in a little more extra work, then I will gladly consider being in a relationship with you...", before you winked at Android 17, which made him blush. Your child then asked, "Does this mean he will eventually become my "new dad", after all, one day, mom?". You then happily answered, "If he puts a little more extra work and with a little more time, I definitely will consider...". Your child started to shouting out of excitement for what you said and Android 17 started to smile, as he continued to blush.

As time went by and Android 17 putting a little more extra work for you and your child, you have finally decided to officially be in a relationship with Android 17. He then began to realize that Android 18 was right all along that his efforts and time did pay off. A couple years later, your friend Android 18 became your sister in law, because you have finally decided to marry Android 17, as not only he became your husband, not only he became your child's stepdad, Android 17 has also became part of a happy family. You, your child, and your new husband Android 17.

The steps you took were shaky at best, somewhere between a held-back sprint and a fast shuffle for safety as you struggled to keep yourself composed when Mother Nature’s wrath was clearly demanding your attention with every second that passed.

Needless to say, your movements were absolutely nothing like the steady strides your partner was making through the steep hill, trying to find a clearing that would give him the opportunity to take off into the skies while avoiding any danger from the lightening striking and thunder rumbling overhead.

You nearly groaned when you saw that even with his hair no longer obscuring his face from your view, the look on his face still made it feel like you couldn’t get a clear view of his bona fide visage...it was already hard to decipher people as it was—but an android?

He was practically built (or modified, as he would come to tell you in a moment of rare intimacy) to keep an impassive face no matter the situation, bringing an air of uneventful normalcy even when the trees surrounding you swished violently with the roaring winds, threatening to blow you away if 17′s arm weren’t wrapped so tightly around your shoulders, keeping you in place beside him.

“We’ll make it,” he reassured amidst the howling air, his eyes staying locked onto yours until the fear within them slowly ebbed away, replaced with mild trepidation...and unwavering trust, the latter a sentiment that the android was surprised (though he did not show it physically) to see reflected back at him.

🔸🔶Thank You For Saving My Life When I Was Little🔶🔸(Android 17 x (Black Female OC) Saiyan!Reader)

Leah (or black female OC) and had met him when was between 5-8 years old, as she got lost before accidentally ran into Android 16, Android 17, and Android 18, on her way to get medicine for her dad, Goku, considering she is Goku's daughter and he is in need of medicine.

Android 16, was surprised, as he showed you a clueless expression. Android 18 would ask, "Are you lost little girl? Do you know where you needed to go?". As for Android 17, he's completely annoyed, as he shouted , "Nevermind the kid, Android 18! She could have been a spy for all we know! We're here to destroy this planets not help...", before Android 18 cut him off to reply, "Enough! Can't you see, you have frightened the little girl!", as Android 17, just started to notice that you becoming skittish, as you hiding behind Android 18, while trying to hide the fact Leah (or black female OC) was sobbing, "It's just that I need to look for some medicine for my father...", as tears were rolling down her face.

Before Android 18 could even ask Leah (or black female OC), about the medicine your father needed (not knowing your father is Goku), Android 17 shouted, "Look out!", as he picked her up and protected her to her surprise, as she just started to realize that she was about to be attacked by Cell, which is why Android 17 saved her life from Cell's attack that could have been fatal.

The next thing Leah (or black female OC) did was to reward Android 17 with kisses him on his right side of his facial cheek(s), which shocked really shocked him and it didn't help that his sister, Android 18 (who he also considers his friend) embarrassed him, by teasing him about the fact that Leah (or black female OC) has given him plenty of kisses on the right side of his facial cheek(s). Android 16, Android 17, and Android 18 then introduced themselves to you, while you introduced yourself to them.

Years later, after Leah (or black female OC) turned 16 or 17 was able to meet him again. While she has shown him that she has grown and has shown him some of her powers to him, she also have gotten to know him, as well.

From what Leah (or black female OC) has been understanding, Android 17 is the guy who is very opinionated, cocky, collected, strong-minded and calm, as well as he can be (or comes off as) emotionless, heartless, and an asshole, due to being a human robot, however he is often focused and logical, while having a playful side and would rather plan ahead in almost every situation.

To Leah (or black female OC), despite of the fact Android 17 has frightened her when she first met him (with Android 18 and Andriod 16) when she was little and his flaws (and downsides), no matter what her friends, what her father Goku says (even if is she is daddy's girl), nor what anyone else says, Andriod 17 has saved her life when she was little and she will never forget that. So, Leah (or black female OC) decided to give Andriod 17 a kiss on the cheek (right side) again, only after that kiss (on the cheek) this time she talked to an embarrassed Andriod 17, as she confessed, "I wasn't sure, if I remember to tell you this the first time I kissed you on the cheek the first time when I was little, because I wasn't sure how to find the words to say it, but I figured I'd make this right and say thank you for saving my life from Cell's attack... I really appreciate it and I really wanted to be able to find the words to atleast tell you how much I appreciate you doing that for me, when I was little... I don't know, if I could even thank you enough, but I am glad to let you know now...", as she began to blush in front of Android 17.

Android 17 was surprised to see you blush and while smiling, too. So, while Android 17 was trying to find the words to respond to Leah (or black female OC), from the bottom of his heart and the best of his ability, he told her how he felt as he replied, "You're welcome anytime, Leah (or black female OC)... The way you're blushing is cute... I'm also very glad and grateful for you and the way you confessed to me...", as his embarrassed blush, turned into a smiling blush, which she noticed and found it cute that he happily, blushed too.

Summary: The time for the Interrogation has come, and your mother wants nothing more than to wring your neck. Connor begins to understand the degree of severity of how you were treated by your family. 

“I don’t think humans are supposed to have these kinds of marks, Y/n.”

Your heart raced faster with every step. You could hear her voice, and the insults she hurls at the officers trying to keep her contained. She comes around the corner, locking eyes with you. Immediately, you stop in your tracks, feeling the rate of your heart at least double its original pace.

She breaks away from the officers escorting her and makes a mad dash for you, but Connor steps in front of you, his arm out to shield you from any harm.. “Mrs. L/n, I must ask for you to return to the officers escorting you to the interrogation room. If you fail to cooperate, I’m afraid we may have to resort to a more direct approach.” 

She grumbles something under her breath, before letting the man and woman bring her back into the hall leading to the room. Your anxiety grew as you followed, not wanting to be in the same vicinity as her any longer than you had to. Your shoulder throbs as a reminder of what had happened last time. 

“Y/n, you do not have to be in the other room if you don’t wish to be.” Connor speaks softly, his voice catching you off guard for a moment. You take in a short breath, before shaking your head.

“I want to make sure she tells the truth. I’m scared, but this is more important.” Your voice started strong, but weakened with the last statement. Scared was an understatement; you were terrified. But you wanted to make sure these people actually knew what had happened.

Stepping into the room attached to the small interrogation cell, you look through a panel of glass while the officers walk back in and sit down, leaving your mother handcuffed to the table. 

You take in a breath, before Hank places a hand on your back lightly. “I’m gonna try to talk to her. If I don’t get anything out of her, Connor will take a shot at it.” He scans his hand and opens the door, before heading into the sparse room with your mother. 

He sits down, and looks at her, eyes narrowed. “So; you not only broke into my house, but shot your daughter in the shoulder. When she found my partner and I, she was too scared to talk to us properly. Why is that?” He stares directly at her, and she sighs, leaning further back into her chair. 

“Yeah, I shot her. I didn’t break into your house, she left the door unlocked. She gave me the gun willingly, I just chose to do what she wanted me to.” She was smirking, and you bite the inside of your cheek. That isn’t what happened, but... you had left the door unlocked.

“Even if she left the door unlocked, it’s still considered trespassing. Why did you shoot her?” Hank glances at the window, and she scoffs. 

“The bitch ran out on her father and I! I had to do something-”

“Then you report them to us. Unfortunately, even if she did, she’s over 18. Legally, you aren’t obligated to provide or house her.” His voice was firm, and she crosses her arms, leaning back. Hank asks a few more questions, before finally giving up. 

He scans his hand, and Connor steps into the room in Hank’s place. You were biting your lip pretty hard, fears running through your thoughts like wildfire. 

He looks at her a moment, before opening the case file. “3 attempts of arson, 8 files of illegal substances, 2 accounts of kiting checks and 12 declined requests for loans.” He names off a few of the things your mother has done, and she visibly pales. 

“The first arson attempt was after your first husband left you for another woman. You retaliated by attempting to burn them both alive.” He begins to pace as he speaks. “ The second attempt was after your brother threatened to take your daughter, y/n, after witnessing and reporting abuse. Speaking of which, there’s over 17 charges of abuse against you.” Her mouth fell open, but she shut it quickly. 

“People are rude to those they don’t like. As an android, you should understand.’ She tries, but Connor cuts her off.

“The third attempt was attempting to burn Y/n after she snuck out of the house to attempt to get away from you. Should I keep going, or will you confess?” He stops, and stares at your mother, who is now squirming in her seat. She stays quiet for a moment, before sighing.

“You know what? Fine. I hope she’s listening, because I’m not going to sugarcoat anything.” Your mother takes in a breath, before beginning. “Her birth was a mistake; she is a product of a broken condom. I couldn’t afford the off time of an abortion, and maternity leave is often well paid.” Smirking, she continues.

“I thought I could force myself to love her. My husband did, after all. Then he walked out on me, on us, for some cheap whore he’d met at a bar. I knew it was y/n’s fault, so I began to take things away. Punish her for things she knew she was doing. Did you know she tried to kill me? Twice?” 

You let out a small squeak of shock at this. You never tried to kill her, let alone more than once.. 

“Once we got an android, he opened my eyes. She was nothing more than a burden, a nuisance. I didn’t have to pretend to love her, I could do as I pleased. If she didn’t listen, I would-” You stand up abruptly, and walk out, wrapping your arms around yourself tightly. You couldn’t listen to any more, not if you wanted to avoid flashbacks.

The things she did to you- you weren’t sure if you could ever fully heal from them. 

You sit in the women’s room in the handicap stall, curled up on the floor. It was hard to breathe, and you weren’t sure what to do. You just prayed it would be over soon..

After the interrogation, one of the female officers came and got you, telling you she would be facing prison time of at least 30 years. You nodded, and she escorts you out, leading you to Hank’s desk. He turns, and his eyes have a new emotion in them. Pity.

Connor, on the other hand, immediately pulls you into a hug. You let out a soft cry in shock and pain, and he lets go once he realizes you’re hurting. “My apologies, y/n,” His voice is a lot softer than before. 

You nod, wrapping your good arm around yourself. “So, you guys know everything, then, huh..?” Your voice was frail, and you wished you were stronger in that moment. You’d only just met these people a few days ago, and now they knew all of your darkest secrets. 

Connor nods lightly, then speaks thoughtfully. “I don’t see you as a different person, if that’s what you’re thinking.” Your eyes shoot to his face, shocked. How did he know? “I see you as a strong individual who has overcome some extremely difficult scenarios and come out of them stronger than before.” He smiles lightly. 

Your heart swells a little, and you carefully hug the android. Hank smiles slightly at the two of you, cheering Connor on internally. It was hard to miss (to him, at least) that Connor begun to show more deviant-like behavior once you’d shown up.

You bite your lip, before looking at the two of them. “So.. do you know where A/n (Android’s name) is..?” Hank shakes his head, and you nod a little, sitting down as exhaustion overtakes you. The nightmare was halfway over. But you’d have to come to terms with it all eventually.

Detroit: Become Human Fic (part 1)

okay, I’m in a huge dbh mood right now. I’m going to go ahead a put out this little prologue of the fic. If it gets good reviews I’ll put the rest of what I have out in increments. The reader is an android and such. leave comments and such if you want more. For now this is a female reader, but i can change it is anyone desires.

The android called (Y/N) was originally designed to be a fine instructor teaching different dance, art, and singing styles to children from the ages of 10 to 18. (Y/N) did her job, teaching children made her believe she enjoyed her occupation as much as a machine could.

       After many months of working, (Y/N) was assaulted by one of her older students, a 17-year-old dance prodigy. He started sexually harassing the android until something in her snapped. A red wall appeared in her vision, in big, bold letters it read; “DO NOT RESIST”. (Y/N) hit, smacked, and punched the wall until it shattered, letting her push the young adult off of her body and flee to safety.

       After a few weeks of laying low in an abandoned car lot, (Y/N) released her hair’s braid she was designed with and changed her hair from its original (Not H/C) to a (H/C) color and removed the Cyberlife LED implanted in her head. With her newly changed features, (Y/N) walked through the street trying to find a safer place to stay. She passed a bar titled ‘Jimmy’s’. (Y/N) saw an older man whom she decided to ask for help.

       “Sir?” She called out, waiting silently for a response.

       The older man turned towards the android, “What? Can’t you see I just want to go home?” (Y/N) wasn’t surprised by his aggressive manner; she analyzed him and could tell he was intoxicated.

       “My name is (Y/N),” she paused to think up a last name, “(L/N). I was wondering of you knew of a safe place I could stay?” The old man scoffed before he started to walk away. “Wait!” (Y/N) called, her voice unwillingly sounding distressed. “I… I have nowhere to go… I was assaulted and… and I don’t feel safe anymore.”

       The man stopped and turned towards the perturbed android. His face seemed to soften to a sympathetic look. “Fine.” He started, surprising (Y/N). “You can crash on my couch; I’ll take you to the station tomorrow.”

       (Y/N) already knew, from analyzation, that he was a lieutenant for the DPD, but she had to act like she didn’t know that.

       “Station?” She asked quietly, following the man to his car.

       “Yeah. I work for the DPD, they’ll get you sorted out…” His gruff voice stayed silent after that. The car ride being hushed minus the man’s heavy metal music in the background.

       Once at his average sized home, the man led (Y/N) inside. He sat her down on the couch and started collecting blankets and a pillow for the ‘girl’. “You can sleep here. Watch out for my dog, he might sleep on you.”

       (Y/N) silently took the sleeping commodities, “Thank you for your hospitality Mr...?” She let her sentence drift, hoping he would give her his name.

       “Anderson, Hank Anderson.” ‘Hank’ went to walk into the kitchen but he heard a clamor behind him and saw his dog on top of the android girl. “And that’s Sumo.”
