Più tenti di rimuovere ciò che di te non ami, più tutto questo si fomenta, più tu diventi confuso, conflittuale, scisso, agitato. Non combattere, respira e scorri, non tagliare via, accogli, non giudicarti, sii un semplice osservatore. L’anima sa condurti ed ecco che ti sta portando. Ciò che accade e ti turba, è lì per te non contro di te. Ti smuove affinché ciò che in bonaccia di te sedimentava nel profondo, inutilizzato, possa emergere in superficie, perché tu scelga di utilizzarlo al meglio.

This morning, I read a wonderful obituary. It was personal and full of love.

It did get me thinking, though.

Why don't we talk about and celebrate people the same way whilst they're still alive?

It can't be that it's too maudlin, too depressing, surely?

I know what it is.

We believe that by talking about death we'll summon her to the table of our lives.

Me?

I've no such problem; I think of her a daimon. A spirit that will be with me, is with me until the end of my days.
