The skinny person in fat spaces had me feeling conflicted cuz i know you and a few other body posi/fat activism blogs i follow talk about big fats and little fats and irdk which i am. I'm 5'5" and 280 lbs but carry it rly well as opposed to someone who could weigh less than me but carry it in a way that would make them face more discrimination than i do. I just wish that society would change anddebates like this wouldn't even be necessary cuz everyone is accepted

We aren’t here to be gatekeepers or tell people where they fall. I personally think your height, body shape, and how society treats you plays huge rolls on determining where you fall on the spectrum. For example my mum and I weight the exact same. However, 320 looks vastly different on her 5'1 pear shaped body than my 5'9 hour glass shape. Neither of us are acceptable fat but I’m deemed more so because I’m an hour glass shape and my weight is distributed “nicely”. This all play into how how society deems you worthy or unworthy in your fatness. Also no just no!These discussions are important and they need to be had. If we don’t fight for our space then we as Kisa said will be shoved into a corner and not be able to get out.
