really loved your Adami x reader work. Ever since I saw her I was like “wow. I want her” and honestly bought the game for her lmao. (Not pressuring you) hope you write more of her in the future :] really saved me here, bc counting yours I’ve only managed to find 3 works with mc x reader
Adami x Reader is genuinely really rare </3! I think she's cute, though and REALLY MESSED UP, haha. Have a little thought I had earlier :3! It's not exactly cute or nice though, I'm sorry if you were looking for that sob
notes: Ms. Crowbar AU (Monster!Adami, has Mr. Scarletella as her servant.), graphic depictions of violence (reader is not hurt), Adami is . a bit mean in this one, heavily implied poly relationship
You'll never know whether she was always like this. Perhaps she was a more balanced, a better person, before she'd lost all of her sanity in these endless, looping hallways. All that you know is that, right now, Ms. Crowbar always wants to be the one in control of any given situation, and is greedy when it comes to her own amusement. Violent or otherwise.
With your hard-to-define relationship, this means that you'll have to carefully read her body language when reaching out to touch her. Preferably, she would initiate almost everything herself. Sometimes, she'll just make you sit down in a chair and plop herself in your lap, crimson eyes never closing as she peppers kisses all over your face and rubs her cheek against yours. When she feels like sleeping and curls up into a bed, she'll always be in the middle between you and Mr. Crawling. (And, of course, Mr. Scarletella is always right there, oftentimes relegated to a third wheel due to the lack of a physical body. You'd feel worse for him if you hadn't caught a glimpse to what she does to the handle of his umbrella.)
You don't mind it so much when she's needy for physical affection. When her violent impulses rear their head though, you always have a decidedly worse time. Like now.
Your hands shake around the weapon Ms. Crowbar pushed into your hands. The human before you shakes and trembles, legs left in odd angles down the knee from her precise strikes. His hands have begun to blotch with the Other World's corruption, and yet… Even knowing his death won't be permanent, your stomach twist and turns. Tears drip down his face as he begs in an unfamiliar language, but the meaning of his words transcends any tongue, human or otherwise.
Ms. Crowbar presses her mouth against your ear. She'd been shorter than you moments ago, but her form is entirely malleable to her own liking. When she speaks, a hot breath of air brushes makes the hair on the back of your neck stand.
"Hurthurthurthurthurt," she says, speaking so fast that one sound rolls into the other and you can't tell where one word begin and the other hands. Through her mouth, she sucks in a slow breath. "You kill. Other not dead. Sentience again return. You understand?"
You do. You've never once misunderstood the way things work around here. But, in your transformation, your desire for violence hasn't grown all that much. Of course, that is exactly why she pushes you to your breaking point. She's still interested now. If you were a better person, less of a coward, you would've objected, shoved her off and walked away. But as the ruler of this realm, there are many things Ms. Crowbar can do. You have no desire to be at the other end of her weapon.
Lowering your hands, you manage to bring your blade to the human's throat. His eyes stare straight into yours along the arch of your blade and arm. With how fickle your memory is, you hope you soon forget the look he gives you. And yet, you still can't do it. Ms. Crowbar sighs once again, then giggles indulgently.
"I see. Me help you." In the blink of an eye, her grip has wrapped itself around your hand, clutching tight. With a single, sharp motion of her arm the iron has sunk into the soft flesh of the human's throat. His eyes grow wide as he uselessly gurgles on his own blood, mouth gaping and closing like a fish on dry land. You look away, but Ms. Crowbar places the side of your head in the palm of your hand and makes you watch.
Bile rises in the back of your throat and you take a staggering step away. Surprisingly, her grip slides off of your shoulders easily. You slump against the wall, letting out a pathetic little whimper. The world spins around you. For the first time in a while, through the labyrinth of your forgotten memories, the desire to go home claws its way to the surface, overpowering any other feeling. Like that, you feel suspended in space for a couple of seconds, grip on reality slipping, ears ringing, and you're just sososoSO upset!!! its sososo unfair why you why you?
When you come to, your hands are dripping with blood, the lower half of your face dripping with thick, warm liquid. You don't want to think about what it is. Your entire body is shaking. At some point you must've sat down. When you look up, Ms. Crowbar is right there, not looking the least bit disturbed. She smiles down at you.
"Cute," she simply says. "Me like you."

Marta Torrejón x Caroline Graham Hansen x Child!Reader
Summary: You miss Caro
Tumblr media
It's unusual to see you in kit.
You usually end up in your school uniform or your gardening overalls or the soft linen clothes Caro buys at home in Norway that are perfect for the hot Barcelona weather.
You've never had any big interest in football, at least not enough to wear jerseys outside of watching Marta and Barcelona play.
But this is your special Norway shirt.
It's not even yours, not really.
It was Caro's, straight from her side of Marta's wardrobe.
It hangs over your knees as you sit in the swinging chair with your reading book with all the little flowers in separate pots. You'd been reading to them a lot lately.
"I've got snacks," Marta says, approaching you with a little plate of homegrown celery and carrots.
She slots into the little space next to you, an arm over your shoulder as you lean into her.
"I miss Caro," You say," When is Caro coming home?"
"She'll be home soon," Marta says," She's still playing for Norway right now."
"But I want her home!"
You're whining now. Like wearing a jersey, this is unusual for you. Your bottom lips wobbles dangerously until you're burying your head in Marta's chest and clutching at her shirt.
"I want Caro!"
"Conejita, Caro is-"
"Caro!"
Tears fall from your cheeks as you curl around Marta, your snacks forgotten as she gently rests her hand on the back of your head.
She should have expected this really. You had grown attached to Caro now that she's around more. You crawl into Caro's side of the bed in the morning before school for extra cuddles. You let Caro do up your school shoes and give you the last kiss before heading into the school building.
You adore Caro and Marta should have really known that this separation wouldn't do you much good.
You crawl into Marta's bed that night, fast asleep and holding Caro's pillow.
"I didn't mean to make her sad," Caro says, wincing slightly as she gazes at you through the video call.
"I think she just got used to having you around," Marta replies," It's not your fault. She hasn't dealt with me going away to camp for a while now. I think she's forgotten what it's like."
"I..." Suddenly, Caro feels choked up. She hadn't expected seeing you like this with your sad, little scrunched up sleeping face would affect her like that. "Give her a kiss for me?"
"Of course. I'll tell her you wanted her to have lots from you."
"Thank you."
It's amazing how expressive a child's face is. Caro hadn't ever really thought of that before. Of course, there's Skatt who had always worn her heart on her sleeve and Estrella who always looked like she was halfway between judgement and pure boredom.
Caro has known Skatt for years now but she hadn't even considered the little faces she made. She knew, in theory, that everything Skatt thought was on her face but she'd never paid attention to it.
But now that you're in her life, Caro can't help but notice.
The image of your sad face with your downturned lips and the frown that stayed on your features even as you slept.
It's an image that stays with her through all the training and gym work and even as Caro eats, stubbornly stabbing the food on her plate with a fork.
It's an image that stays with her as she prepares to walk out for the match as well.
Little feet pitter-patter around as Caro weaves through her teammates and their mascots, shuffling through the line to get to her place.
She nearly falls straight over as something unexpected crashes into her legs and Caro whips her head downwards.
To tell off or to yell.
She hasn't quite decided yet.
But her words stick in her throat.
"Caro!" You say, hugging her legs and looking up at her.
"I...What are you doing here?"
You let go of her, taking a step back. "Do you not want me here?"
Caro shakes her head, getting down on her knee to pull you into a proper hug. "Of course I want you here. I've missed you."
"I missed you too, Caro. That's why we came. I'm even wearing your shirt."
Marta stands a little way away, a fond smile on her face as she sees Caro litter kisses over your face.
"You're not going over?" Mapi asks, Skatt hanging off her arm dressed like a happy little ladybug.
"I'm letting them have this moment. I've had Conejita cuddles every day for years. Caro's got a lot of catching up to do."

Sunshine (pt 2!) - pitfighter!vi (Arcane)
NSFW tags - porn, fantasizing about sex, switch!reader, sub!vi, dom!surprise character, pussy-eatting & fingering (r!receiving), face-riding (vi!receiving), bit of angst, lowkey evil reader ngl, kinda rushed
authors note - okay, it's here guys!!! this could probably be a stand-alone, but i strongly recommend reading part one first. i hope you love it! i hope the grammatical and spelling errors are not that bad, i really wanted to get this out before act 3 😛😛😛 ----------------------------------------------------------
you felt your hands shake as you lifted your head, meeting vi's fucked-out gaze
the pit in your stomach grew as you realized she didn't just accidentally call you Cait,
she was imaging you were Caitlyn
vi tilted her head, bringing her hand up to your cheek
you pulled your head away, throwing yourself up and nearly stomping to the bathroom
a shattered woman stared back at you in the mirror, and you could hardly stand it
rushing, you picked up everything you'd need for the night and slammed the door on your way out
you heard vi follow you out the door, calling out and asking what was wrong
her voice was enough to break you, and you felt tears stream down your face as you continued to a hotel a few blocks away
you had never felt a pain this deep before, and you found yourself questioning how often she thought about cait while she was with you
the thought killed you
you always liked caitlyn, but you hated her now for taking away vi
your violet
the violet you picked up and put back together while she killed herself for a woman who left her, sobbing, on the ground
suddenly, an all-consuming idea to get back at vi filled your mind,
how much would it hurt her to see the two women she lost together?
that's when you decided you needed to find caitlyn kirraman
it wouldn't be difficult, she was well known as the piltover military leader
you had both grown up in the same circles, which is why you were so surprised to find out about her past with vi
not that it mattered now,
you couldn't think of anything other then showing vi exactly how you felt, ruining her with the same name she had used to ruin you
----------------------------------------------------------
you had spent the morning traveling back to piltover,
your parents welcomed you back with open arms, consoling you as you told them about what vi had done
the day was spent getting ready to find Caitlyn,
you had to make yourself look presentable after spending the night sobbing
caitlyns home wasn't far from yours, so you picked out a bottle of wine and made your way
----------------------------------------------------------
the kirraman house stood tall, beckoning you up the stairs,
every step you took was one step closer to your vengeance against vi,
and that's all it took to encourage three firm knocks against the wood of caitlyns door.
the door opened to reveal a red-headed officer, she eyed you up and down before her thick Scottish accent pierced your eardrums
"junior officer nolan, what's your business here?"
you sighed sweetly, putting on your best act
"im here to...see an old friend" you hated how insincere you sounded
officer nolan, however, didn't seem to notice
she stepped back, inviting you in and even leading you back to a big conference room
you hasn't seen caitlyn in years, her youthful features had sharpened, and she kept her blue hair tucked under her cap,
it was impossible not to feel a mix of inferiority and attraction as you gazed at her
the wine bottle clicked as you set it on the table, prompting caitlyn to swivel around and meet your intense gaze
"who are you?" her accent sent shivers straight down your spine, but you had to remind yourself why you were here,
more, what you were here for.
"it's nice to see you too, caitlyn" you chuckled, again feigning sweetness
her eyes softened as she seemed to recognize you, a relieved sigh leaving her parted lips,
"i apologize, i've been a bit...on edge, as of late." a soft chuckle escaped you,
because she couldn't possibly imagine how much worse it was going to get.
----------------------------------------------------------
weeks had passed with caitlyn, and you spent every available moment by her side
tending to housekeeping, amoung other, more personal matters
every moment you spent with her, you became more infatuated
you compared every part of her to yourself, questioning what made her linger in vi's mind while you had been together
it was very conflicting, as you were starting to realize exactly why she stuck
and every day that passed made you question if your affection towards her was an act.
these thoughts plagued your mind, when it wasn't filled with memories of vi
love was a confusing feeling for you,
and this triangle you had fabricated was not making a whole lot more sense
you spent nights laying in bed with caitlyn,
your hands drifting across the body that vi hadn't gotten the chance to know,
but somehow managed to love
much more then she had ever loved you, if she had at all
thoughts of leaving caitlyn had, of course, come up,
letting her feel the pain she had put vi, and (although indirectly) you through
but you knew that it would have been a waste of your time
you had spent time creating this scenario, and you were so close to the end
the last step was ensuring vi got a good look at you and cait, a real up close and personal look
luckily, cait frequently left you alone in her home when she was on missions
and her specific kirraman house parchment was not incredibly hard to find
so, as caitlyn slept, you drafted a note. one that would ensure vi was exactly where you wanted her
' vi, i need to speak to you. tommorow, midnight, sneak in the way i showed you...please. -cupcake'
you had it brought directly to vi's door, and moved into the next part of your plan, waiting.
----------------------------------------------------------
the day seemed to drag on, caitlyn had endless amounts of visitors requesting her audience
you expected she would need her favorite form of stress relief at the end of the day
and you had no. idea. how right you were.
right at 11:45, just as you expected, caitlyn came into your now shared room
she immediately shed her uniform, huffing as she made her way over to the bed, where you lay waiting
cait shoved you down by the shoulders, making your back hit the bed as she straddled your legs, her strong thighs enclosing you
your moans echoed on the walls as she kissed down your torso, stopping only to hastily untie the robe covering you
the clocks hands ticked away behind her, showing '11:50', '11:53' and finally, right as she was spreading your legs, '12:00'
you made sure you were facing the window, while cait laid out on her stomach
hungry hands reached up, grabbing at any piece of flesh they could reach
all the stress of her job was taken out on your abused cunt,
you had barely felt the warm satisfaction of her tounge on your clit before she was ramming two fingers inside of you at a brutal pace
you'd never admit it, but you absolutely loved when cait treated you like this
when she reminded you that she owned you, regardless of why you came to her
vi was rarely allowed to see you this way, you made sure that she was satisfied above all else, and she used that
she used you
you suppose caitlyn did too, in a way
and suddenly, a thought you'd never had before was all you could think of
caitlyn continued her brutal ministrations on your clit as you imagined vi above you,
her cunt smothering you, absorbing your moans as you teased her entrance
you imagined cait standing, leaving you needy and wet, and watching you, directing you
telling you how exactly to touch each other, exactly what she wanted to see
you were pulled out of your fantasy when you heard the window slide open quietly,
cait was far too enamored with you to hear vi's soft gasp as she laid eyes on the two of you together
you lifted your head, making direct eye contact as caitlyn messily licked up and down your cunt
vi watched in shock as you arched your back, gripping the bedsheets tight as you reached your peak all over caitlyns face
her soft moans were drowned out by your intense ones, you made sure to give vi a show as you came undone
cait lifted her head, moving up to kiss you before she realized you were looking directly behind her
glaring, more then looking actually
she whipped her head around, meeting vi's tear-brimmed eyes
they both looked between you and each other, you could see the millions of emotions passing through them as their eyes finally stayed on you,
you offered a simple shrug, pulling your robe back over as you sat up
your voice rung out in the painfully quiet room,
"doesn't feel so great, does it?"
----------------------------------------------------------
okay gang idk how i feel about this yet?? i will defo come back after act 3 drops and clean it up a bit, i just wanted to get something out. i hope you like it soso much, i love the idea and im hoping my execution isn't too bad! as always, please please pleaseeeee leave all the insane requests, i love them all and it's so nice to get inspiration and just to know what you all want to read!!

Hi, I was thinking Vi x Reader. Where Reader is half human and half vampire and she hasn’t drink blood in weeks now and she is crazy starving. When Vi came back home from work she didn’t see her girlfriend in the living room but found her in their shared room facing back to her. Vi slowly walk to her but Reader flinched and not turning towards her. Reader explained why she is not turning towards her but Vi wants her to drink blood from her but Reader refuse because she might think that she will hurt Vi. Vi told her it is okay and Reader made a decision by letting her drink blood from Vi.

VI (ARCANE) X FEM!READER
☆ SUMMARY - vampire!reader hasn't been able to drink blood in what felt like forever. luckily for her, vi's there with open arms and an outstretched wrist. in fear of hurting her, you decline the offer but you and her both know you won't be able to refuse her much longer.
☆ WARNINGS - blood, vampire themes, def inaccurate description of vampires, petnames, use of y/n, use of good girl, thumb sucking?, sorta suggestive, intended lower case, nothing i write is ever proofread 🩷

your throat was dry and your head was pounding. you lay curled up in your bed, the blinds shut and your hands pressed against your face. you tried to shut everything out, block out the loud yells in your head. you were hungry, so very hungry.
but you were also sure that your girlfriend would be home soon.
piltover had put up the walls between zaun and piltover but jayce assured you that the walls wouldn't last long after seeing the worry written across your face. why? he wasn't sure. then again, neither did he deem it his business to ask. but with the walls being up between zaun and piltover, you had no way of getting into the woods. the place you went to when you were hungry.
you were a vampire, yes, had been for many years now, would be for the rest of eternity.
but you didn't feed on humans, no, you wouldn't even dream of it. despite your monster-like qualities, you vowed to be nothing like a monster. you didn't want to be the type of tale that scared kids, the type that their older siblings read before bed, just trying to get them riled up. you fed from animals, in the woods where no one would see you. and only one knew of your secret.
the same girl that was opening your front door.
"hey, cupcake." vi was walking through the door, tiredness evident in her voice. she found herself in your guys' shared bedroom as quick as lightning. ever since you'd moved out from your parents house, everything seemed so much smaller but with vi by your side, the world seemed to be filled with endless opportunities.
you didn't respond, but vi wasn't too concerned yet.
the curtains had been drawn, only she assumed that was due to the fact it was currently night and not the fact that your brain was in scrambles from when the sunlight was peeking through. she'd been working for a while now, helping out some kiramman girl with something she needed help on. she needed insight on the very city of zaun, the one vi had grown up in her entire life. so naturally, she didn't mind helping the girl. the one thing she didn't like? leaving you for so long.
you felt outstretched arms wrap around your torso, her head falling into your shoulder. only now, had you realised she'd been talking the past five minutes. "y'listening?" and your silence served as an answer enough. "hey, what's wrong, baby? you're being quiet." when she turned you around she could see your tear-stained under eyes and your pale complexion. "hey, what's wrong?"
you could see the worry coating her eyes and it made you impossible more guilty. "doesn't matter." but she could see by the under eye bags and your teased hair that it did matter.
"you're shaking." she commented, taking you into her arms with worry. at first, she would have assumed that you were sick. her hand placed itself on your forehead, feeling for any temperature. you were merely cold. "oh, is this a... you know, vamp thing?" you suddenly felt very embarrassed. "hey, hey, i'm not judging, you know that." her hands soothed down your arms, sitting up and pulling you with her. "i jus' wanna know what's wrong so i can help you."
"y'can't help." you spoke, looking away and not reaching her eyes.
but she wasn't having any of that. her fingers drew your chin back to her. "we don't know that until we try." she attempted at coaxing you. "jus' tell me wh's the matter?"
"the walls." your mumble caused her ears to perk under her bubblegum hair. "can't go into the woods."
"oh, baby." she frowned suddenly, realising she hadn't thought of that at all. "I was so wrapped up in working with caitlyn, i completely forgot."
but before you could even assure her that it was okay, your hands were pushing at her. "v-vi." trying to get away. with confused eyes, her hands followed you, pressing against your upper arms. "vi, please don't touch me." suddenly feeling tears spring in your eyes.
the girls brows were pinched together. "why not?" before contorting to a look that told you she understood what you had meant now. "oh."
"vi, please." but she didn't let go. you didn't want to loose control, but you were starving. you needed to eat before you ended up killing yourself but for the first time in all of your life, you'd truly been tempted. you'd been tempted to feed off a human but that wasn't you, you wouldn't hurt somebody. you wouldn't kill somebody. but with the hunger that you felt then, you were sure that if you started, you wouldn't be able to stop.
vi's hands were on you, her eyes searching yours even as you tried to back away. but vi was keen, she didn't let you move. her hands held an iron grip on you, sapphire eyes boring into your own. "feed off me."
your eyes went wide as saucers, whipping your head towards her so fast you were sure you'd gotten whiplash. "what?" is the only word that fell from your lips, your brows now pinched together and your hands shaking impossibly more. what she was asking you to do, it wasn't just dangerous, it was suicidal.
but her hands didn't stop soothing up and down your arms, she didn't even seem afraid of you. she should be, she really should be. even you were afraid of yourself. "you're in pain." she noted by the way your face had contorted from the minute she stepped into the room. with her being here, it would only be harder to control your urges and she didn't want you to have to do that. "let me help you, sweet girl."
but you didn't feel anything alike 'sweet' in that given moment. you glanced up at her, doey eyes coated with a glossy cover of tears. "vi, 'm really hungry." a whole whimper falling from your lips. "i can't―I wouldn't be able to stop― I don' wanna hurt you." but god, were you tempted.
"hey." her fingers brushing up and down your arms so gently. "everythings gonna be okay, cupcake, y'just gotta let go, 'kay?" she was reaching her arm up towards you, your eyes impossibly wide. "jus' let go for me, angel."
but you couldn't. you wouldn't. but her wrist lay in front of you, pumping. and you suddenly felt dizzy. "vi." you whimpered, the first tear falling down your doll-like cheek.
"'s okay." she cooed, soothing you. "'s okay just let me help you." she watched as your gaze turned back to her wrist, head feeling all floaty like and your eyes a little hazy. "jus' wanna help you." but even she was beginning to feel light headed, and you hadn't even began. sure, she wanted to help you and she'd do that a thousand times over, only a tiny feeling at the bottom of her stomach was laced with fear. then she remembered who was standing in front of her. her sweet and lovely y/n, you'd do no wrong, you wouldn't hurt her. even if you fed from her. "bottoms up." she mumbled.
she watched as your face contorted lightly, almost in pain as your mouth opened, fangs seeping out from your teeth. you whimpered gently as vi guided her wrist towards your mouth. hesitantly, you looked at her to which she nodded. in your starvation? more than enough for you. you gently sunk your teeth into her skin.
vi inhaled, squeezing in a breath as a light pain trickled around her body. but she didn't scream or yell about. that was the thing about vi, pain tolerance like no other. her free hand came down to your head, pressing against the crown of your hair. "that's a good girl." she spoke, gently stroking your hair. "see? you're okay."
but your mind wasn't focusing on her words, they were merely entering one ear and getting tossed out the next. your teeth were impaled in her skin, the blood filling your mouth. your eyes shut, a little noise of relief leaving your lips. your hands moved to press her wrist closer against your mouth. it tasted so good.
almost instantly, you felt the colour return to your face, the eye bags wash away as relief pumped through your veins.
you never drank human blood but this wasn't just any human, it was vi. and it tasted better than any animal you'd ever seen, you were sure it'd taste better than any human, too.
you could have drank the blood until her body run dry. but you couldn't. in fear of hurting her, you took your mouth away from her wrist, pulling away as your eyes flickered back up to hers, checking for any sign of regret.
you were blinking harshly, trying to let the blood set in after not drinking in weeks. while your body was swaying gently, vi was still ever so still. her eyes were a little hazy as her lips curved upwards. her thumb came down to meet your mouth, gently smearing the blood that had been on it around your bottom lip. she tapped your cheek causing you to part your mouth. instantly, she stuck her blood-covered thumb between your lips.
you whimpered softly against the skin, your eyes fluttering shut. "'s a good girl." she mumbled. "so good."

Neighbor! König Part 3
Part One Part Two
It's only after THREE MONTHS in that you find out his name isn't Kevin
Why? You overheard a phone call. A phone call with his mom
Because, to put it in small terms: König is a mama's boy
Not in the gross way that boy moms do (everyone say EWWWW) or the manchildren who think their mom can do no wrong and will always side with her over on everything. We know those guys. He's not that. Not even close
No, in the 'he genuinely loves and cares about his mother because this is the person who raised him so his respect for her and love is absolutely profound'
That's the woman who raised him, that's the person who read him bedtime stories at night when he couldn't sleep, that's the lovely lady who would let him hide behind her skirts when she'd take him into the village and people would try to say hi, she's the one and only who taught him all about the many wonders of the world and how beautiful nature is
Yeah, he's going to respect her. He loves his mom and for good reason
He calls her every day if possible because she still lives quite far away in Austria :( and things haven't been the same since his dad passed away
He doesn't live near or with her, as much as it pains him, because quite frankly: he can't risk it. He still visits as much as he can, but living with her makes her a target because he's a man with blood covering his hands and there's people who will do anything to get to him
He can't risk her like that, wouldn't ever dream of it
She understands. He doesn't tell her the extent because he can't break her heart and he's afraid she might see him different, but he does tell her HOW dangerous it could be
He will always tell her about the good things he does, though! Like saving hostages! That's always great. She's so proud of him
He might be a grown ass man at 6'7" and weighing over 250 lbs that absolutely towers over her but he will always be her sweet baby boy before anything else
He is always writing her letters and sending her packages and pictures! Letters just are more heartfelt usually and she's old fashioned, she likes having something physical to hang onto especially now that her eyesight is fading
She is always sending them in return too. His favorite coffee mugs are all shaped like little forest animals and she made them! They're precious and he's so happy holding his little hedgehog mug (even if it is a bit spiky)
ANYWAYS how you found out his name wasn't Kevin was because you heard her use his name
His real name
That wasn't Kevin or even close.
And afterwards you had to go "... uh... Kevin? Who is she talking about?"
König has never been close to this flustered before, even when you fell asleep with your head on his broad shoulders when you were watching a movie together
Time to fess up.
He at first tries to go into denial, then dismissal, but it doesn't work at all
He admits defeat. You caught him, he ISN'T Kevin. Well, he's still the same person! That's just not his name
He was too embarrassed to correct you or himself so he went with it and it kept building and building
He wanted to tell you, but it's a hard topic :( he knows he would have stumbled and stuttered over his words until he fell flat on his face
You'd find it out eventually! It's not like he put 'Kevin' on his mail or anything like that
Now, most people would rightfully feel mad and lied to
But he's turning red enough to match the roses he grows and can't seem to meet your eyes. He's sweating bullets, he's genuinely embarrassed here and feels awful about it
Maybe it's against better judgement to accept such a thing so easily but he hasn't been anything but nice to you ever since you broke down his icy walls.
(Aka he's so painfully socially awkward and flustered you feel bad for him and take pity)
And just maybe you heard the "Ich bin in dich verliebt" slip out as you took his hands in yours and assured that you liked him as him, whether he's named Kevin or not, and nothing would change that

thinking about making eddie munson a daddy. specifically loud simp!eddie, just fuckin living the dream with you after high school. it's the early 90s, corroded coffin just finished their first world tour and are working on their fourth album. Eddie's a little older now, maybe mid/late 20s. His hair is still wild, it's even a little longer now, and he has a little stubble that tickles when he kisses you. or yk. does other stuff. anyway you're running some errands with Eddie and your 2 year old daughter Rose. He has even more sweet ol' tatties now, too. tucked right in next to the demon on his chest, he has a rose for your daughter, and your birth flower right over his heart so he can always keep you close to him. You're nearing your third trimester and your second baby is growing beautifully inside you. Eddie is so obsessed with your bump, always holding it for you, playing metal hits in headphones and kissing it. He tells it stories every night, too, right out of his dnd books. Rosie sits in on all of them, of course. She can't stand normal bedtime stories and only wants to hear about how the tieflings and orcs settled their age old dispute over the kryptgarden forest I don't play dnd don't come for me if this is inacurrate- Baby number two's nursery is almost done, you just need to pick up a few more cans of paint and some last minute decorations and additions. You're wearing a snug little maternity cami that shows off your bump and gorgeous figure, the one that drives Eddie crazy, and a pair of loose overalls with paint smudged on the side and cuffs. Rosie is wearing her favorite sundress, and Eddie has regretably left his leather jacket at home in an attempt to combat the hazy summer heat - but his vest isn't going anywhere. His hair is tied up all messy and a few stray curls have fallen out, brushing the neck of his cut off corrorded coffin shirt. He still can't believe his band actually has shirts, even though he sees you sleep in them every night. Rose wants to look at a music box for the baby, and since you're not allowed to pick up any more than 15 pounds on doctor's orders, Eddie scoops her up to take a look while you flip through paint swatches.
You're rudley interrupted by a grating voice you thought you'd heard the last of at your high school graduation. You look up as your name is called again at one of the bitchy girls you went to school with. You never thought you'd see her or any of her rude, cliquey, mean girl friends again, and you know exactly what you need to do.
You look at her blankly.
She keeps saying your name and introducing herself until finally mentioning you went to school together.
"Oh," you nod, ensuring no lightbulb of recognition goes off in your eyes. "Right."
You've only just started to take the wind out of her sails, and you look through paint swatches as she talks, and you remain completly bored and uninterested.
"You look... different!" She says with a fake kindness that she mircaulously hasn't grown out of yet. You hum in response. Right as you're about to exit as gracefully as possible, Eddie walks up the aisle behind you, Rosie on his hip. He's playing some little game with her, making her giggle like he always does. To this day, it astounds you how good he is with kids. You look back up at your former classmate, and have to bite back a laugh. She is totally checking him out. The irony of the situation - the exact type of girl who made your life hell and absolutely would have terrorized Eddie if they'd known each other back then - is now pushing up her boobs in her shirt and putting on the same pick me flirting face she apparently still uses.
"Hey there, sweetheart." Eddie says, gazing at you so warmly that his love for you is palpable. One look, and anyone can tell how head over heels crazy he is about you. He kisses you in a way that makes your stomach flip - and hers, both with longing and jealousy - then crouches down to your belly.
"And hello to you too, little dragon." Eddie chuckles, kissing your bump. Baby number two had earned the nickname from all your intense cravings for spicy food early on in your pregnancy, along with jokes about how Eddie wouldn't be surprised if the little guy can breathe fire when they pop out. He puts Rose in the baby seat of your shopping cart and reaches down to hold up your belly, swaying and kissing your cheek - and maybe nibbling your ear a little, just enough to make you laugh. He rests his head on your shoulder when he finally notices your former classmate.
"Oh," you say, like you just remembered she was there too. "How rude of me, Eddie, this is..."
You trail off, gesturing to her with the hand not on your cart for Rose to hold. She definitley takes after her dad, her love language has been physical touch since day one. The silence grows awkward as you're unable to recall her name, and after a painfully long wait, she finally relents, introducing herself.
"Right." You nod, chuckling. "Pregnancy brain. Anyway, we went to... high school... together." You say, like you're unsure if that's right. She nods, growing agetated that her status as popular girl and runner up prom queen doesn't extend into the real world.
"And this is Eddie. My husband." You look up at him lovingly as you say it, a warm gaze he returns. He takes your hand and kisses it.
"The luckiest husband in the world." He says sincerely, pressing another kiss to your temple. Her face sinks as she realizes you got married before she did.
"Oh," She nods, then tries to recover quickly. "Okay. Well, let's see the ring."
She says it playfully, but you know she's committing every detail to memory, looking for anything to scrutinize, and you're sure you'll hear about her gossiping about you from one of the kids you went to school with - you know, the nice, non-shitty ones. You extend your left hand despite the tacky nature of her question, and you wish you could have gotten a picture of the look on her face.
The ring and wedding band you wear are actually the second set of wedding rings from Eddie. The first one, the ring he proposed with, is actually one of his. You still wear it on a chain around your neck - it was always way too big for you, but you never wanted to resize it. When corroded coffin signed their first recording contract six months after you'd eloped, the first thing Eddie did with his signing bonus was buy you the biggest diamond he could find. The way you reacted with such genuine surprise, and still loved the old one too much to stop wearing told Eddie with more certainty than ever that he could not have made a better choice in handing over his heart to someone.
"Wow..." she says, trying to keep her face neutral. "Looks like you're ready to pop any day now too, huh?"
the backhanded comment rolls right off you as Rosie speaks up in her endearing toddler babble.
"I- I'm- mommy's making me a- a baby brother for us!" She says excitedly, "Or- she maybe baking a baby sister. Maybe." She emphasizes, repeating what you and Eddie told her about being surprised if it's going to be a baby brother or baby sister. You chuckle at your daughter, and Eddie looks down at her.
"That's right sweet girl. You're gonna have to teach baby how to fight dragons and be a big strong paladin, just like you!" He pokes her playfully and she starts giggling her head off again. You can't get over how much they look alike, she really could be Eddie's twin. Before you can find a graceful exit out of the conversation, a group of a few people freeze a few feet away. You're used to this sort of reaction by now, you have people from 12 to 45 shaking and crying at the sight of Eddie - dubbed the number one guitarist in the last decade by Rolling Stone - much less getting to meet him and take a picture, which Eddie always loves to do.
Your former classmate watches in shock as the guys walk over nervously, asking if he's really Eddie Munson, like the Eddie Munson. He confirms playfully, and you accept their cameras to take a few pictures for them. He offers to autograph their arms or notebooks and starts patting his pockets down for a pen. You beat him to it, pulling out a perminant marker from your purse. He chuckles sweetly, caressing your face.
"You really are always one step ahead, aren't you sweetheart?"
He signs some pages and shirts and even a forehead before they go, thanking him profusely the whole time.
"I'm sorry-" Your classmate interrupts. "What exactly is it that you do?"
One of the guys, still straggling to get a few more glances at Eddie scoffs, personally offended by her question.
"You don't know who that is?" he demands. Thankfully, you manage to slip away to finish your errands while he lectures her on the genius of corroded coffin. Once out of ear shot, Eddie says softly, intimately close to you, "Was she the one from the prom dress story?"
"Oh yeah," you nod. "She was a real bubhosh." Eddie laughs at your middle earth insult - roughly translating to dung heap - that the two of you used to substitute any words you don't want Rosie picking up yet. Eddie is glad you pulled him away when you did, cause if he was around her much longer, he probably wouldn't have been able to resist roasting her to a crisp. Then again, with someone as incredible as you it's pretty easy to make anyone else look bad in comparison.

hit me, part 1.5 (bonussss!)
wc: 1.5k, largely unedited warnings: swearing/language, very very light talk of smut, drug use (alcohol) a/n: hi everyone. the feedback on part one made me so so happy that i wanted to drop this for ya'll. i hope u like it ;) tags: @elliewilliamsmunch@intrnetdoll@me-and-your-husband@3zae-zae3@milahnoz@elliescumm
For context, this chapter takes place 4 years before part one, or where *reader is 16 and Ellie is 19*.This part is simply to explore an interesting friendship dynamic, teenage sexuality, and some backstory to Ellie + reader.
*I do not condone underage relationships and there will be no insinuations, assumptions, or even words that would suggest Ellie being romantically interested in reader at this point considering their age gap.*
I know this makes it sound super serious but i PROMISE YOU its not. i had to put in a disclaimer simply for respect and safety reasons. enjoy!

part 1
"'Natty Light'? What the hell is that?"
"It's beer," Ellie reassures you. "it's what the college folk drink. Want some?" She says, offering out the can in her hand.
"I think I'll wait until I become...college folk." You remark, unsure.
Ellie liked being around you. When your dumbass boyfriend wasn't trying drown you with his spit every six minutes. God, he's such a dick. Ellie couldn't wait for you to grow up and see the scum of the world without youth clouding your eyes. Scum not just including your boyfriend, obviously, but mainly him.
You sit on Ellie's bed, flipping your phone back and forth between your hands like you'd been doing the entire hour you've been here.
Ellie knew what that meant. It meant that he hadn't responded for a couple days, and you're just starting to get anxious about it.
Fucking. Dick.
"What do you do in college?" You ponder.
"Fuck girls, get high, get drunk, and maybe learn. Not sure." Ellie says mindlessly. She didn't see the point in college. Thought it was a waste of time and energy. She also didn't have the money to attend.
"Or at least, that's what I would do." Ellie finishes, snatching your phone from your hands.
She chugs around half of the can after she finishes talking, topping it off with a burp.
"Give it back, Ellie." You demand.
"Why? If he hasn't texted in four days he's not gonna start now."
Ellie regretted saying that almost immediately. Sometimes you seemed so...grown up. It was hard to censor herself around you. Especially when it's something she's been trying to tell you forever.
She sees your face fall, head turn swiftly towards her window. You liked how she had a bunch of sketches up there, and when the sun shined through it you'd always say it 'looked like all of her drawings were glowing'. Ellie smiled so hard when you'd said that. One million watts for sure.
Some of them were of her current girlfriend. Some of them of her ex-girlfriends. Some of them of Dina. All you really wanted was to see yourself up there.
You were too nervous around Ellie to ask her to do anything like that. Like drawing you.
"Y'know he wasn't that way in the beginning. I used to really...like him, I think." You mutter, still facing the window.
Ellie scoffs.
"You think?"
"I'm being serious, Ellie. It's like you don't listen to me cause you think you know everything. You're not even that much older than me."
"Oh yeah? What's a condom?" She asks, eyeing you.
You don't even say anything.
"So is that because you don't know? Or--"
"Shut the fuck up. Give me my phone back already." You huff, frustrated.
"Oooh shes swearing now?" Ellie teases. She watches as your face gets all pink as you get more irritated. You cross your arms hastily. It was fun to make you mad, Ellie thought.
"You should break up with Cat."
Uh, what?
"I'm sorry?" Ellie questions, less upbeat than she was a moment ago.
"I'm tired of you nagging me about my boyfriend. Cat's not very much better than he is. In my opinion."
"Christ, you sound like Joel," Ellie spits.
If there's one thing Ellie never expected from you, it was this. You usually never breached the subject of Ellie's love life. Ellie didn't mind not talking about it, she knew you weren't homophobic or anything. She just thought, honestly, that you were disinterested. So she never really...brings Cat up.
"If you can talk about my boyfriend than I can talk about Cat. It's...fair."
"It's fucking different. You don't get it."
"Why?! You always say that," You retort, sitting up a little taller on the bed. "Just—just because I'm dating a guy and you're dating a girl?"
"Yes. Literally, yes. It's fuckin' different, I don't know what else to say." Ellie remarks, throwing the can she emptied minutes ago onto the floor. She grabs a new can from the pack, cracking it open on the spot.
"Tell me, then." You say. "Tell me how it's different."
"Well, first of all, no dicks—"
"Ellie."
She huffs out a big sigh before starting again.
"I don't even—" She burps.
"I don't even know why you wanna know. And like, right now, of all times."
When Ellie asks you that, you freeze. Obviously, noticeably, freeze. Because, well, you didn't even know why you wanted to know. You just did.
"I—I just wanna know more about you, I guess." You stutter out.
Ellie's eyes narrow. Are you...nervous?
"I know he's not a good boyfriend. I know that, Ellie. You think I'm stupid and I'm not. But I can't break up with him."
Ellie still feels like that's total bull.
"Why not."
"I just can't! It's like—it feels, like, safer, to be with him."
"That guy is anything but fucking safe—"
"You know what I mean." You say quietly.
"No, I don't." Ellie says, trying to look into your eyes.
Your head was faced downward toward the bed. Ellie practically screamed through her thoughts. You couldn't even look at her. Had she been too mean to you? In Ellie's mind, it always feels lighthearted. She didn't always take the time to make sure other people took it that way.
Finally, you look up, meeting Ellie's eyes.
"You...don't? You don’t get what I mean?”
"No, y/n. I have zero fuckin' clue. Am I...supposed to?" She questions, clearly starting to get confused.
Safe? Safe? It feels safer?! Ellie was fucking lost.
How could being with that piece of shit feel any safer than being fucking alone?
"I—y'know what, nevermind. It's dumb. I don't even know what I mean. I just thought that you would get it—for some reason. It's stupid. Sorry." You mumble out, trying to forget whatever miniscule things you were telling her.
"Don't say sorry, you didn't even fuckin' do anything," Ellie quips. "Why me?"
"I don't know. I just...thought of...you." You trail off, rubbing at your shoulders.
Yeah, whatever you were talking about? It made you really fucking nervous.
"Hmm..." Ellie hums, hopping off of the bed and beginning to rummage through a desk drawer. "Here."
"...What."
"Would you like to hear the story of my first gay crush?" She grins, knowing absolutely that you'll want to hear.
She hops back onto the bed, sitting a little closer to you.
Ellie knew she was a good storyteller, but you were by far her best listener. It's endearing, how engaged you get. Never even daring to take a glance anywhere but at Ellie.
"So her name was Riley. And I was...youngish, but—I knew for sure that my feelings were...gay feelings, y'know?"
"Well how'd you know?" You ask bluntly.
"Well I wanted to like, hold her hand? And stuff? I wanted to...to take her places. Like, cool places I found outside, and like, dumb little lookout points. I'd draw her tiny pictures of things she liked. Write stupid little notes and shit. I would make her...bracelets and, things she could wear. Stuff that didn't really cost anything. I don't know...I just kinda...knew."
You don't respond. Your eyes are glossy, barely gazing at Ellie.
"Y/N, you good?" Ellie laughs, grabbing your shoulder and shaking it a bit to get your attention.
"Yeah! I'm fine, sorry. Got in my head a little."
"Right, right, wanna see somethin' stupid?" She says, awaiting your response.
"Sure."
She picks up the item she was rummaging for a minute ago. It's a post it note.
"Oh! Can I read it?" You beg, excited to see the parts of Ellie's life you're so unfamiliar with.
"Hah, yeah, go for it. I promise you it's...underwhelming." She hands you the blue paper, drawing side down.
You begin to read.
"You are the prettiest girl I've ever seen. I drew you a penguin wearing a hat that says, 'you are the prettiest…princess…ever'. Best wishes, Ellie." You smile without meaning to.
You give her the post-it note back.
"I wish I got notes like this. Do guys...do that?" You ask.
"Um, maybe some? I wouldn't know." Ellie admits.
She wanted to say no, y/n, no guy will do that until you get married, probably, because that was the truth. However, seeing how happy you were at somebody else's love note, she didn't have the heart to say it. Ellie didn't mind letting you be sheltered a little longer if it made you happy.
Before the two of you could say anything else, a phone chimes.
Your phone.
It's him.
"Oh thank god. Ellie, I have to call him. Can I call him? I'll be back in a second I swear," You ramble, basically sprinting out the door to talk to the meathead in your phone.
Fuck.
One day you'll grow up. Ellie knows this. She sees how you change every day. It still makes her feel funny to see you so...dishonest with yourself.
The day you break up with that dick is the day I fucking win, Ellie thinks.
And that day occurred exactly a week later.
After Ellie had already left.

Anonymous Request: Can I request a fic of Neteyam and the reader getting into a fight and avoiding each other for a couple days, only for the reader to get into a pretty bad accident?
Neteyam is running so fast, he doesn’t feel the ground beneath his feet. His hair whips painfully at his cheeks, but he doesn’t notice. He hears his sister shouting after him, but it only barely registers.
He has one singular thought. One driving motivation. You. Getting to you. Making sure you’re okay. Apologizing for even momentarily acting as if his world does not revolve around you.
He prays he isn’t too late.
2 Days Before the Accident
"You think that I told Ma'rek that I want to be his mate?"
Your mother hangs open, your chin pointed downwards, and you widen your eyes at Neteyam, who stands before you, furious.
"I heard you say it!"
Leaning back, you cross your arms across your chest and scowl at him. "Tell me what you heard, then."
Neteyam crosses his arms, mirroring you, and scowls back. "You told Ma'rek he would make a fine mate, that you'd be honored to have him."
You throw your hands in the air. "You idiot! Ma'rek was just rejected again, I was just trying to make him feel better. I don't actually want to be his mate."
"Well, he's going around telling everyone that you do!"
The rage that rises in your chest is overwhelming, just for a moment. This is what you get for being kind, you get someone lying about you and the man you actually want to mate with believing it.
"If you think that's true, Neteyam, then I don't think we know each other as well as we thought."
He takes a step back, his arms falling down to his side, and his glare does not ease up.
"Maybe not."
You turn, and take off before he can see you cry.
Just Before the Accident
Your all-consuming, painful, burning hot rage has simmered down into mere annoyance, and been mostly overtaken by overwhelming sadness.
It's hard to believe that Neteyam would believe you could have eyes for anyone but him. You have spent your lives together, you have only ever loved one man, and you've told him as much.
You're starting to wonder if maybe, Neteyam doesn't care for you like he thought. Maybe this thing with Ma'rek was just an excuse for him to get out of your courtship, to mate with someone else. Possibly, he's grown tired of you and didn't know how to say it.
After all, he hasn't asked you to be his, not formally. A kiss here and a tight grasp on your hand there hardly indicates a lifelong commitment, and what is he waiting for, anyway? You're nearly 22 years old now. Why not commit or move on?
He hasn't spoken to you since the fight, and even though most of you hopes you will come through this, part of you thinks this could be the end.
You are distracted with these thoughts as you hunt, and it takes just one misstep for you to tumble off of the tree branch you're racing down.
Your body slams into the tree branch below, and all of the air is forced out of your body in a painful huff. The knife you held in your hand cuts you, right in your abdomen, and you roll off of that branch onto the next, and then onto the ground.
With the final fall, you hear a sickening crack, and there is a searing pain in your arm.
"Y/N!" your hunting partner screams from above, but you are fading already. She scarcely has time to reach you before you are gone.
After the Accident
Inside of his, her hand looks so small and delicate. There are scrapes on the back of her hand, and he turns it over to look at her palm. It's dirty, he notices, so he picks up a nearby cloth and gently removes the dirt.
Looking over her - she's dirty everywhere. Though her broken arm and wide gash on her stomach have been healed, she has not been cleaned.
He turns to Kiri, and tells her to go get some warm water and a cloth. Kiri is gone in a flash. Neteyam looks over Y/N as she lays there. Kiri said she would be okay, and he trusts Kiri, but she doesn't look okay.
Not an inch of her doesn't have a bruise or a cut. She lost a lot of blood, and they aren't sure how her arm will function once she recovers - but he knows no one should underestimate her.
Kiri returns, leaving the water and cloth and taking off again after giving Neteyam a reassuring hug.
Meticulously, Neteyam cleans Y/N, gently removing all of the dirt and debris that she collected in her fall. Once her skin is clean, he removes the leaves and dirt from her long braided hair, as best as he can.
All the while, he hates himself for doubting her. He knew Ma'rek was lying, deep down, but he was so scared... and he had been so scared, for nearly two years, to ask her to be his mate.
Now, he can't remember why. If she would just open her eyes now, he would ask.
--
Fingers are running through my hair. That's the first sensation I feel as I regain consciousness.
It is much more pleasant than the sensations that follow. I am sore, over every single part of my body. My arm throbs, and there is a burning pain in my stomach.
A groan involuntarily escapes my lips, and I turn my head to the side. I reach for my stomach with my arm that doesn't hurt, but someone stops me, taking my hand in theirs.
I open my eyes with much effort, and see Neteyam leaning over me.
"Here. Kiri said this would help." He holds up a cup, and puts one hand behind my neck, gently lifting my head so I can drink the warm, bitter liquid inside.
The effect is almost instant in the way it calms me, and I sigh as I lay back down.
"What happened?" I ask.
"I was going to ask you," Neteyam replies. "You fell. Hard."
It comes back to you slowly. Your distraction. How you tripped. The two branches that broke your body before you hit the ground. You wince.
"Really hard. Everything hurts, Neteyam."
"Your knife cut your stomach, and you broke your arm. You're going to make a full recovery, but you need to rest."
You wince, sucking in a sharp breath. "Are you still mad at me?"
A laugh escapes Neteyam's lips, and you glare at him. "I'm sorry - but that's what you're worried about?"
"Yes."
"I'm not mad at you. I never should have been. I love you, Y/N, and I want you to be my mate."
Well, he's picked an opportune time to finally admit it.
"Are you sure?" you ask.
Neteyam's eyes are soft, but you notice the dark circles underneath of them. You wonder how long you've been asleep, and whether he's been here the entire time.
He reaches out, pushing your hair out of your face, and his fingers linger on your cheek.
"I have always been sure. I was just... scared. That you would say no, or that I wouldn't be enough for you. But I thought you were going to die, Y/N, when I first saw you. And I would rather die myself. Life would not be worth living without you."
He leans down, his face hovering just above mine, waiting for permission.
"I love you, Neteyam. Of course, I'll be yours."
The kiss is gentle, because it has to be. Even your lips are cut and bruised. But when he pulls away, he takes a little of your pain and sadness with him.
All will be well.

You couldn't remember the last time you'd gone out on a Saturday night. Your friends had been begging you to join them for a while, that much you knew, but with how stressful work had been, time seemed to slip out of your hands.
That was until this Saturday. Finally you'd been given the weekend off, and as much as you wanted to spend it in bed binge-watching all the Netflix you'd missed, you ended up deciding that a few drinks wouldn't hurt.
How wrong you were.
Thinking back, it started going south as soon as April mentioned going to the Hard Deck. Sure, you'd been a few times since it opened, and you thought it was a nice place, but you couldn't deny the strange feeling in your gut, almost like a warning. Maybe that should have been a sign that this wasn't going to be your night, but you ignored it, and decided to have fun instead of worrying so much.
"Hey!" April grinned as you walked in, standing from the booth your friends had claimed slightly away from the bar, "I was starting to wonder if you really existed all this time."
She laughed, giving you a quick hug before you sat down with the rest of your friends, "It hasn't been that long." You said, rolling your eyes as April pushed a drink towards you.
"Yes. It has." She smirked, "So drink up. We're making this a night to remember."
You were a couple drinks in, laughing with one of your friends, when the jukebox music cut out. You didn't take much notice until you heard it. The piano. April frowned, "Is someone playing the piano? How cool is that! Let's go look."
You stood and slowly followed her towards the edge of the bar. You knew who was playing. Of course, you knew. It was the same song he used to play years ago, when you were both barely in your 20s. Young, in love, and stupid.
April gripped your hand and dragged you forward to get a better view of the singer. There he was. He had grown, definitely, but he was still the same old Bradley Bradshaw. All smiles and laughs as he played the piano and sang along with his friends. As much as you wanted to, you couldn't look away. You dragged your eyes to your side to look at April, who's face began to fall in realisation.
"No. Way." She turned to you, searching your face for any sign that you might cry, "Please tell me that's not who I think it is."
You nodded, mouth dry from shock as you grabbed her hand and dragged her towards the restroom, locking both of you in a stall. You sighed, ran your hand through your hair and sat on the lid of the toilet seat.
April had both of her hands on her hips, her mouth in a tight frown, "What the hell is he doing here? Isn't it enough that he broke your heart, huh? And now what? Now he's suddenly back in San Diego! Seriously?! What the actual-"
"April." You interrupted, standing up and putting your hands on her shoulders, "It's fine. I'm.. I'm fine." She nodded, taking a deep breath as you sat back onto the lid of the toilet, "And anyway," you shrugged, "He didn't really.. break my heart."
April scoffed, "You have to be joking. You cried over him for like a year! I thought you were about to swear off men forever after him!"
"Probably would have been a good idea." You chuckled, "I meant that.. you know, it was mutual."
April rolled her eyes, "Whatever. What's our game plan?"
"What?"
"Well, for starters, I'm not letting you leave now we've seen him. You need to show him that this didn't affect you. Stand up."
You stood to face your longest friend. She'd been there when you'd met Bradly the very first time, and she'd been the one to pick up the pieces after he'd left. As much as April could be demanding, most of the time she had a point. The only thing you wanted to do right now was run, but you also knew that if he saw you leave it would look like it was because of him, and you didn't want him to have any sort of power over you like that. Not anymore.
You took a deep breath, "Okay, I'm not leaving. Let's go get shots." You were trying to sound confident, but your voice was wobbly and your breathing was uneven. Yeah, tequila was definitely going to help.

April ordered some drinks, and you both did a shot of tequila each at the bar. It did calm some of your nerves, but just knowing he was around was setting you off again. You sat back down with the rest of your friends and gazed around the room. Maybe you were in the clear? He'd sang one song and decided to leave?
Just as you felt better, you glanced to the other side of the room, at the pool table, where eyes were already on you. He looked just as shocked as you did, his mouth half open and eyebrows raised, grip tight on his pool stick. You felt yourself freeze. Should you smile? Wave? Shit, the longer you two just stared at each other the more awkward this was getting.
You blinked a couple times before quickly standing, "I'm getting another drink." Your friends were in deep conversation, but you assumed they heard you and hurried towards the bar.
You ordered another round of drinks before you felt someone stand beside you. You looked up and there he was, tall and muscular, very different from the boy you'd known all those years ago.
He grinned, "I thought it was you. I saw you in the crowd while I was playing but then I couldn't find you after." You opened your mouth and closed it again, trying to find words that wouldn't make you sound stupid. Before you could, your drinks were placed in front of you. "You need help carrying those?" He pointed at the four drinks on the bar.
You quickly shook your head, muttered a 'no thanks' and grabbed two in each hand, hurrying off to the booth your friends were sat in. Bradley watched you walk away and mentally kicked himself. He'd practiced what he was going to say to you since he saw you in the crowd earlier in the night. It could have gone better, but then again, what's left to say to someone you both hurt and never quite forgave?
-
You figured you'd stayed long enough that April would let you leave if you wanted to, so you grabbed your handbag, hugged your friends goodbye and made your way to the front of the bar. You felt your phone buzz in your pocket. It was April.
Let me know when you get home safe. You did great tonight. He's not worth it!! See you soon x
You smiled and searched through your phone to find an Uber.
"On your way home?" You turned to see Bradley. Just when you thought you'd made your escape.
"Uh, yeah." You took a moment to really look at him. He had this hopeful look to him, you realised, like he actually wanted to talk to you. You sighed, "Just trying to get an Uber."
"You don't have to." He rubbed the back of his neck, eyes trained on the ground, "Look, I know things are awkward. It's been a long time. But, I can take you home. I've barely drank, I'm good to drive. If you want, that is."
He finally met your eyes as you shrugged. "It's been a really long time. I never thought I'd see you back here." You bit your lip, thinking over the situation, "But, sure. If you're offering, I'd like a ride."
He smiled and nodded, relieved that you hadn't ran away from him. He probably wouldn't have blamed you if you did. But this was something.
The drive to your apartment was quiet. You could feel Bradley glancing at you now and then, but you couldn't risk looking at him. You were already in his car, the same old Bronco he'd had since you'd known him. April was gonna freak when you told her tomorrow.
"How've you been?" He broke the silence as he stopped at a red light, tapping his fingers against the steering wheel.
"Good. Busy." You answered, "You?"
"Yeah, good. A lot of deployments but it's been fine." He took a glance in your direction as the light changed, "I wasn't planning on coming back. There's this mission. I'm not supposed to talk about it-"
"It's fine." You cut him off. That made more sense. There was no way he'd come back here for you. That just confirmed it.
He sighed. You wondered if he was regretting offering you a ride home. Probably. "You look good." He said instead.
Your head whipped round to look at him, "Don't start."
He was smirking, "What?" He glanced at you again, feigning innocence, "I know things are awkward but am I not allowed to compliment my favourite ex-girlfriend?"
You cleared your throat and turned towards the window, "Your compliments were never just compliments, Bradley. They always led to something else and you know it."
You felt your cheeks heat up as he glanced at you again, a small smile on his face. "Would that be a bad thing?"
He pulled up in front of your building, turning to face you fully as he turned off the engine. You turned to him, arms crossed and voice sharp, "Yes. It would be a bad thing. History is a there for a reason and I don't wanna repeat it." You opened his door and stepped outside, "Oh! And by the way, you are definitely not my favourite ex-boyfriend!"
Bradley chuckled, "I always used to love it when you'd get angry, your cheeks get all flushed. It's cute."
You mouth hung open, what was he playing at? "Thanks for the ride." You said, shutting his car door and walking towards your apartment building with a huff. Even when you unlocked your apartment door, you couldn't quite believe what had happened. How dare he flirt with you like that? You two hadn't talked in years!
You climbed into bed and decided to sleep it off. At least you wouldn't be forced to see him again. You'd be at work and he'd be on his stupid mission. That was something.
Bradley stayed parked outside after he dropped you off. Partly to make sure you got in okay, but also to really think about what he had actually been suggesting. He hadn't seen you in years. Sure, you crossed his mind every now and then, sometimes he'd stalk your social media to see what you were up to, but he didn't know you anymore. You guys had history, that was true. The worst part about it? He didn't think repeating history would be a bad thing at all, especially if it was with you.

Not good at saying goodbyes.
Part 3/4 - previous - next
Lena x childhood bestfriend!reader
Lena Oberdorf Masterlist
Tumblr media
──✩₊⁺⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧──
Today you got ready like any other day. Had breakfast, got into the car and drove to work.
What you weren't expecting, walking
in was to see Lena's mother there.
When she saw you, her eyes were full of sparkles.
"Y/N! I can't believe this! You're all grown up!" quickly giving you a tight hug you had missed very much. "You're so beautiful. You look just like your mom. How is she? How are you?"
"I'm good, she's doing well, she's planning on retiring and moving back here."
"It's so good to see you. Can't believe Lena didn't tell me you were here."
"I can."
And she quickly looked for her daughter, who had opted for walking away, minutes prior.
"You meant no harm. I know it, sweetheart. And now that you're here, she'll come to terms eventually.
She still celebrated your birthday every year. And hung up your Christmas stocking, oh and she still hasn't watched that movie you had made plans to see together."
"I kept a full diary of the first two years after I moved, so she could catch up, when we were reunited. And watched as many of her games as I could fit in my schedule. Also, I kept the big bear she won me, at the fair we would aways go to."
"Everything is going to end up in the right place. I'm leaving, but just in case, let me give you my number."
"Thanks, it's so good seeing you again."
"You too honey, you have no idea. Have a good day at training, and if you see my daughter, let her know I went home and that I don't appreciate her walking away."
"Of course."
She was just like you remembered. And for a second it made you feel like you went back in time, when you'd aways pass on her messages to Lena when she tried running away from trouble.
You made your way to the locker room but most girls were already at the gym.
"Obi, your-"
"Lena." she harshly said.
"Everyone around here calls you Obi, I'm the one who came up with it!"
"Well you lost the right to it, when you betrayed me!"
"I didn't betray you! I was a kid! Who didn't know what she was doing!"
"You hurt me!"
"I was hurting too! And I thought the best way to protect you, was not saying goodbye."
"Now it doesn't matter why you did it! I can't go back in time, and tell the younger version of myself that! I can't tell her that everything was just a misunderstanding. I can't unbreak her heart!"
"If I could go back in time and change everything, I would. I swear. And I'm sorry that's all I can give you."
"Yeah."
What was that even supposed to mean? 'Yeah'?
In truth Lena didn't know either. She didn't know what say. She only knew how she felt and that was, confused.
"As I was going to say in the first place, your mom went home and you are in trouble."
"For what?"
"Leaving while we were talking."
"She can't be serious! You did it first! And I'm the one in the wrong?"
You only gave her a sad look as she walked out of the room. It was like you were eight again, and getting in trouble for doing whatever the other was doing.
──✩₊⁺⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧──
You tried your best giving her some space after that. After all you had nothing else to say to each other. She had bursted out her feelings and you had apologized. And you had been trying to accept the reality. You were far from doing good, but you decided to put her feelings first. Being respectful, to her wish to not be in touch with you.
"Hey Y/N! We're going out tonight, please come with us." Said Georgia.
"Sorry, I can't. I have some plans I can't bail on."
"No you don't!" said Giulia. "Stop saying that, just so we leave you off the hook, for not showing up at our get togethers."
At this point Stanway had went her own way.
"You can't keep doing this. You're isolating yourself from the team. This has got to be affecting your mental health, the girls are worried."
"No they are not. They think I'm busy because of a relationship."
"Only Syd thinks that. And I know the truth. Please reconsider it?"
"Okay, I'll text you if I change my mind."
──✩₊⁺⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧──
You didn't. Of course you didn't. And that had been the last drop, for her and some of your teammates. After a long talk through the weekend, they had decided on keeping to themselves. To not make things worse.
But Giulia could not hold back when you walked into training, Monday morning, with deeper under-eye bags, and a emotionless look in your face.
You were tired. Tired of crying. Tired of isolating, and only talking to your parents, through a phone. Tired of blaming yourself constantly.
As you left to the field, they all shared a look. Even Lena. You seemed to be doing okay... until stoped pretending you were.
"Don't act surprised! Your the one doing this to her!"
She said looking Obi dead in the eye, and going after you.
"Y/N! Wait up. We can warm up together."
"Is that an excuse for another lecture?"
"No. But you can vent out if you want to."
"There's nothing much to say... Except that leaving Barça was probably a mistake."
"I'm sorry you feel that way."
"Thank you, for trying to include me the best you can, and for taking care of me. You and the girls are great."
"I wish you gave yourself a chance, to be happy here."
──✩₊⁺⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧──
"Give her a chance!" said Lea trying to get it through her friends mind. They had stayed back inside.
"She did worse to me!"
"You're taking this to far! She made a mistake and apologized. And I think not having her best friend for the last 15 years, was punishment enough."
"But-"
"No buts. What she did was wrong. But she was a kid and she thought she was doing the right thing.
You're an adult, and you know you are doing the wrong thing! It's not the same."
"What am I supposed to do?"
"Do you think your younger self would approve of this? Of anyone treating her this way? Because the Lena I know, would never treat someone like this. Especially someone she loves."
──✩₊⁺⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧──
"You still care a lot about her huh?"
"I love her and I don't think anything can change that. I promised myself to never leave her again."
"Just don't break your own heart, to keep that promise."
"I don't think a heart can be broken twice. But I'll try my best not to push everyone away."
"That's a good start. You need to feel better for the match this week. Frankfurt is a little harder to beat."
It felt good having someone to talk to again. And you knew you could only blame yourself for the loneliness you had been in. And she was right, you had to give yourself a chance, with or without Lena. Although that isn't how you ever planned your life to go.

Cadet!Aruani having a little dance on top of the walls at night, just being silly little lovers in a world of utter misery.
Ohhhhhh anon, this is so cute T____T!!!!
I really like the idea of the walls at night being their little meeting place. After all, they're wide enough for a small corner to be invisible to anyone looking. There's a patch of ground where the two like to sit, sometimes lay, sometimes with a bite to eat or sometimes with nothing at all except for the eagerness to linger in the warmth of the other.
Armin... he looks forward to these nights. There's something about being next to Annie and noticing all the tender pockets she holds. After a grueling day of combat training, his hands are calloused and beaten, but hers are still soft. He wonders how that is, how she can turn people inside out on the fields and yet fill him with awe at how the torchlights illuminate the angles of her face so gently.
He's never told her, but he thinks she touches him like someone does a feather falling through the sky.
And it's fall. There's a harvest festival here in Trost and all the streets have been filled with the sound of music and laughter for days now. Dusk is the time the people put on their best clothes and dancing shoes and turn to a tune in the town square. He hasn't been. Eren was moody and Mikasa lonely and he had to help with the amends.
Now he steals a glance at Annie sitting close by, her cool blue eyes so dark under the moonless night, and wonders if she likes to dance.
"Um," He begins softly, tentatively. "I was wondering if--if you'd like to--"
"Dance?" She finishes, catching him off-guard. Her face turns wry upon seeing the surprise on his face. "You've been tapping your fingers and toes for the past one hour. I noticed."
Armin laughs, half embarrassed, a blush heating up his cheeks. "Oh--is that so, I uh--I didn't think--"
"It wasn't exactly subtle," Annie says, leaning back on her palms to study him. It's what she does, he's used to it now. Anyone else would call it the look of a dangerous, soulless creature but he can't quite think of it like that anymore. The fear he felt before he knew her name and the sound of her voice is long gone - now he has only shivers.
The good kind.
"What?" He chuckles shyly, leaning back to mirror her. "Do I have something on my face?"
She doesn't say anything at first, only stares. Quietly, gently, carefully. Like she's looking at stained glass or something delicate, and unfortunately that's what he is - delicate.
But when her eyes are on him this way, he doesn't hate it.
What does she see? He wonders. Because she's silhouetted against the light, wisps of her hair going against the light breeze, and all he can think of is how she's so... otherworldly. Like she comes from somewhere beyond his reach and somewhere beyond his dreams, a place he cannot... hope to touch or see.
She's beautiful in this firelight.
Does she... see the same in me?
She gets up rather abruptly then and he blinks in surprise. "So," Annie holds out a hand. "We should dance."
Armin squawks. Oh he's good at asking questions but not at following through in action. Shit. He should've known better than to poke at something that required physical skill; something she had in abundance and he had none of.
"Oh, it was--just a question--I uh--I'm not any good at it, I don't think--" He splutters, suddenly wishing he was anywhere else so he wouldn't be making an inevitable fool of himself.
Annie shrugs, taking his hand and hauling him up to his feet. "I can't imagine it's that different from fighting," With another shrug, she adds, "A lot of footwork."
He doesn't protest as much as he should, knowing he's going to disappoint her. Standing before her now, he sees the top of her head, the colour of silver grass, and becomes acutely aware of the fact that he's grown taller... a bit.
O-Oh.
So now if he were to kiss her again--if she'd let him--then he'd have to... or-or she'd have to-
"You look like you're about to have a stroke," Annie points out dryly and he snaps out of his daze. Right. Kiss later, now he has to make sure he doesn't trip and kill them both in a 60 metre fall.
"S-sorry," He mumbles, blushing. "Uh--shall I... uh- my hand around your...your waist--that is..."
Perhaps he's mistaken though. Annie's cool facade rarely ever disappeared but sometimes, just sometimes, like now on the wall under such dark, silent nights, she'd bite her lip and blush.
He thinks he's very lucky to see it, when it happens.
Just like right now. Her cheeks are pink and she won't look him much in the eye.
"Annie?" He whispers.
She just nods.
He's touched her before, but not like this. At most her cheek or her neck or her wrist. Her waist is an expanse more intimate and more sensitive, if the sigh escaping her lips is anything to go by, but Armin finds he'd rather touch her here from now on. She's so stiff and slight in his hold that even when his fingers press between the spaces of hers, she's still not looking up.
"Ann-"
Then she touches him. Just a hand on his shoulder, but it sends sparks firing beneath his skin. She's touched him before, exactly like this, but maybe it's the view of her crown, maybe it's the space of only a few breaths between their heads, for some reason or all of them, his heart speeds up until he thinks he might just combust.
"Let's start." She says.
They dance. It's not like any of the dances in the town square, this is clumsy and graceful and shy and soft. Annie dances and Armin follows, a little this way and a little that way. They can hardly hear any music so high up, but he's got a tune stuck in his ear and hums.
He trips plenty but she holds him firm. It's a dangerous place for a dance, one wrong move and their gear wouldn't be enough. He feels sorry every time her grip tightens but there's no anger in her eyes. Only a determined set of her brows to keep him safe.
"Armin, I swear to god-"
"Sorry, sorry!"
At some point he goes out of tune and then she laughs; Annie laughs. He teases her then and she gets progressively annoyed until she steps on him quite hard and he surrenders.
There is a thought in his head when she looks into his eyes, easy and relaxed, the hint of a smile playing on her lips as they turn slowly.
It's not a thought he has often.
It's usually the opposite.
But with Annie...
Someday, he thinks, looking at her, I hope you'll catch me if I fall.

Big Bed II
Hardersson x Child!Reader
Part of The Big Adventures Universe
Summary: The Big Bed at Bayern
Tumblr media
Magda doesn't know when everything changes.
She can't quite put her finger on it. She knows something is different but she doesn't know what it is.
It's not until she's helping you read your bedtime story that she realises what it is. You've had an awful day at school. You've had another one of your wobbles and didn't settle until the receptionist called Magda and Pernille so you could hear their voices. You'd stuck the rest of the day out though and it had clearly drained you because you were sullen and sad and even a kick around in the garden couldn't cheer you up.
You're just going through the motions when it comes around to bedtime and you crawl into bed and let Magda help you read your bedtime story.
"I love you," She says softly, kissing you on the forehead.
"Love you," You echo as she shuts the door.
Magda's not really sure why she's still awake gone midnight. She's got training tomorrow early in the morning and a match in a few days. She needs to be well rested for both but she finds that she's still got her lamp on and is staring at the door.
"Magda," Pernille groans," Turn off the light. I'm tired."
"Just a minute," Magda says," Just a minute." She can't tear her gaze from the door no matter how hard she tries.
"Magda, please," Pernille says," We've got training tomorrow."
"Right, yeah. Training." Magda begrudgingly flicks off her light.
Pernille's asleep in a few minutes but Magda can't seem to get comfortable. At every creak in the house, she glances at the door automatically but nothing ever happens.
The alarm clock flashes two in the morning and Magda gets up.
Her feet take her automatically to your room. It's exactly how she left it which is what unnerves her.
You're curled up in the very centre of the bed with girl-swan and girl-moose tucked under your arm. You look more peaceful than earlier and Magda kneels down by you and brushes the hair out of your face.
You fidget a little bit, scrunching up your face before you settle again. You smack your lips together a few times before going still.
There's a part of Magda that feels empty. She doesn't know why this is unnerving her so much until she slips back into bed.
"What's wrong?" Pernille asks, rolling over," You've been restless."
The words come out of Magda's mouth before she even stops to think about them.
"Princesse hasn't come in tonight."
"What?" Pernille blinks the sleep from her eyes. "Magda, she's sleeping. Why would she come in?"
Magda's eyes sting with tears and she digs her nails into her palms to stop them from spilling. "She had a bad day at school. Whenever she has a bad day she comes to sleep with us."
"Magda," Pernille says," I thought you didn't like it when she sleeps with us. You said it was making her co-dependent."
A few tears slip down Magda's cheeks. "She's still little. Pernille, why doesn't she want to sleep with us?"
"She's growing up," Pernille reminds her," We both knew she was going to outgrow this eventually."
"But why now?" The tears are flowing now, wetting Magda's cheeks as she buries her face in Pernille's neck. "She's not grown up yet. She's still a baby."
"Magda," Pernille says softly, gently running her fingers through Magda's hair," She hasn't been a baby for a while now. She's growing up and sleeping with us is something she doesn't really need anymore."
"But it's out of nowhere," Magda replies," She's just stopped!"
"That's okay." Pernille gently scratches at the back of Magda's head. "She's being a big girl. Haven't you always called her a big girl?"
"She's too big," Magda complains," She needs to stay little forever and that includes sleeping with us!"
"She can't stay little forever," Pernille reminds her," She's going to keep growing, Magda. There's nothing we can do about it."
Magda's silent for several long excruciating moments before she moves out of the bed, grabbing her pillow and a blanket nearby.
"Magda, where are you going?"
"She was sad earlier. She had one of her bad days. She might not think she needs the big bed but she does. I don't want her to wake up and not get comfort because she suddenly thinks that she's too grown up for it."
"So you're camping out on her floor?"
"Yes."
Pernille shakes her head in disbelief and knows that this is something that Magda won't be swayed in. She sighs. "Don't disturb her when you go in and we still need to be up for training tomorrow."
Magda's out the door immediately.
You're just as she left you and Magda places down her pillow. Her back won't thank for in the morning for this but she doesn't care.
Just because you're not going to the big bed doesn't mean you can't still get the comfort you usually get from it.

Asking for your help...(pt2)
Bruce Wayne x Gn reader
Tumblr media
You never thought you'd see Wayne Manor again, but here you are...standing in front of the front door, debating whether to knock or not. But before you could decide the door opened, it was Alfre.
- Please, I ask you to come in, we don't want you to get sick from being outside too long in this weather.
- Hello Alfred, you haven't changed a bit.
- Compliment me, wait here please.
You wanted to talk more with Alfred, but you knew that's not why you were here, the truth is you didn't know what you were doing in this place. Every inch of the property brings back bittersweet memories.
Right now you could be in the comfort of your own home, enjoying a nice cup of tea with your cat as your faithful companion. But no, you had to do what Constantin's note said.
Suddenly something knocked you to the floor, it was Tim, he had grown so much since the last time you saw him.
- You're back! you don't know how much I missed you," he said hugging you tightly.
- Tim...I appreciate your love, but your crushing me.
- Sorry, I was really looking forward to seeing you again, how have you been?
You were about to answer him when someone caught your attention, it was Bruce, the bastard hadn't changed a bit. You got up from the floor and faced him.
- I'm going to make something clear, I'm not here for you, I only came because a friend asked me to.
- Understood...while you are in the mansion I would like you to see something.
You simply nodded and followed him to the Batcave, it was the same as the last time you were here. Bruce was looking for something in his files when someone appeared out of the shadows, you didn't know him, but you guessed who he was...he was Bruce's biological son, you had to admit it, he was almost an identical copy of Bruce.
- And who are you? Another super useless one that is going to try to help us?
Yes, he's the same even in sarcasm, but you can't blame him...it's not his fault that his prominent genes are from his paternal side.
- Damian, behave yourself...I'm sorry he didn't mean to be rude.
- Don't worry, I'm not affected by sarcasm.
- Ok...I wanted you to see this, it's the surveillance videos from the bombing a few weeks ago.
On the big computer there were different videos of Talia and her henchmen destroying police stations and attacking civilians, this is one of the many reasons why you withdrew, seeing innocent people suffer always made your heart clench in your chest.
You quickly deduced what this was all about, it seems Bruce and the league have not been able to discover what the target of these attacks is, they attack without any pattern, their next target could be a company or a school.
- We were unable to capture Talia, and she has shown no signs of what her plan is...we have one of her henchmen in custody, and I wanted to ask you to do me a favor-
- To read his mind and figure out the plan, you don't have to repeat everything, just take me to him and let me see what I can do. But I'm only going to do this once, as a favor to the league, nothing more.
When they arrived, some Super who were old companions greeted you, others looked at you with surprise, you knew what they were thinking, you had returned after years. But you only do this to get Bruce off your back and finally have a normal life.
They sat the man down in front of you, without delay you entered his mind, you were surprised to see that there was nothing...he literally had no thoughts of his own, he was like a shell of bones and flesh that followed orders, he had no control or conscience, not even a sense of right or wrong.
- He hasn't spoken since he was caught? - You asked the guard present.
- Nothing, not even a whisper or a threat.
You left the room and went to the conference room.
- Did you finish quickly, did anything happen, did you find out anything useful?
- That man has nothing... he's like a dummy.
Those present were surprised, they couldn't believe what you were telling them.
- A dummy? You're telling me that this man destroyed an entire building...he's a puppet controlled by Talia?
- Yes, I'm afraid there is no information that would be of any help with your case...well, with that said I'm leaving, I've done what you asked me to do, so I hope you will leave me alone from here on out.
No one objected, but the desperation on their faces was evident. When you arrived at your house you expected to finally be able to rest, but great was your surprise to see Constantin sitting in your living room.
- Not that I mind you being in my house, but at least you could call me.
- You know I like to be spontaneous, I like to have the surprise factor.
You let out a little laugh, Constantin is your best friend, he has been with you through thick and thin and has helped you fight your inner demons.
- So? what do you want to do? I don't have any alcohol at the moment.
- The truth is I just wanted to spend some time with you, I know these last few weeks haven't been the best.
- Ok...you want to watch a bad demon movie for a laugh?
- You read my mind.
It was all laughs that afternoon for the two of you, but elsewhere, specifically at Wayne Manor there was someone thinking about you.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Can Bruce put his thoughts about you in order? Does Talia have a macabre plan? Will you have to face your demons again or overcome your past?

You try the whole "dating" thing. Soap doesn't quite like that, and it shows. (4,4k)

If you'd known how much of a fuss it would be, you wouldn't even tell him. Hell, you wouldn't even think about telling him, you'd just describe it as a simple meeting with an old friend, and he'd know everything afterwards.
Now, you felt like you were seventeen again, trying to explain yourself right in front of your mom when you did something that she didn't like.
The only difference was, Soap acted like your mom, proudly taking her place in scolding you.
"'s like a free invitation for an axe murderer to come and get ya. Bonnie, thought yer gonna be smarter than this." He looked at you, his eyebrows furrowed. You didn't have to be a rocket scientist to see how conflicted he was with you going out without him.
Well, maybe it was also the fact that you were going on a date; an unexpected one, but you couldn't really say no, when your best friend played as your wingman.
And, what could shock the most, the wingman wasn't Soap, but Gaz that got into the conclusion you needed something like this; after your injury, but also in general since he hasn't seen you in ages on date with someone. Truth, harsh but still truth, got into you, so you've decided he's completely right. You needed this, a fresh air in the whole situation.
Which was funnier, that date was with Cody. Cody, who got your fake number from Johnny just because he didn't like him and he gave off weird vibes and you deserved better. You felt bad for a moment considering it was a fucking helpline, but it was too late to do anything with it. What's more to it, you really didn't want to tell him that your idiotic best friend decided to joke, thinking it would be funny.
That guilt was until Garrick proudly admitted that he gave him your number because it felt right. Because Cody asked about you since he saw you with them, and after a quick "interrogation", he felt like a proud wingman to allow him to take a shot on you.
Pretty funny choice of words, but all in all, you knew what Gaz was thinking about. You've babbled with him about it for almost two hours straight, drinking wine, while Soap just listened, throwing his snarky remarks from time to time. He looked like a kid that got his candy stolen from him, and while you didn't really like that kind of behavior, it was kind of funny to see him like this.
Such a contrast to his usually playful nature, especially in something stupid; you were just getting ready for the date. Nothing too scandalous, nothing too fancy, and nothing too deep, but the last thing you kept to yourself, just to get him riled up.
"Axe murderer that I know, Soap," you groaned, when he stood in your way, clearly not wanting you to go any further. Or to at least think what you were doing, which was funny enough, given you were a grown up woman. Not his sister that he needed to protect because she's not mature enough to think for herself, his best friend that knew exactly what she's doing.
At least, she pretended like she knew it. He was so stern that even when you gave him a look, full of politeness, he wasn't impressed.
"You just met him after years," he emphasized the last word. "He could be so much different than the last time you've seen him, 'st sayin'. Yer too good to people, always been."
You sighed, a little defeated; there was nothing you could say that would convince him enough to Cody. "Yet, Kyle thinks he's pretty good for going out."
Soap laughed at your words, shaking his head with disbelief. His previously royal, blue eyes, were nothing like before; they were a bit... colder, if it was even possible. "And since when Kyle is your love advisor?" He raised his eyebrow, his arms crossed at his chest. It felt pretty defensive, even for him.
And, you would lie if you'd tell that you didn't like that, even if it was weird for you, to see him care about something like this. It was heartwarming; like he didn't actually want you to see that guy, to see him adding his statement.
But, of course, you couldn't admit that. It would only make his ego burst, and it was the last thing that he needed to know.
Besides, it would only make things more complicated.
"And like, it's..."
"Why do you care anyway?" you interrupted him; he opened his mouth for a moment, to close it right away, like your words actually hit him. "Genuinely. It's just a date."
Soap rolled his eyes, playing with his fingers – when you only glanced at them, he swiftly hid them behind his back. Like he wanted to keep them away from you, like you would say something about it. It was weird, but you didn't pay much attention to it back then.
"Carin' about you. 's all." He shrugged, looking carefully at you, when you put your shoes on. "'st... be careful, aye? 'm gonna kill this lad if he's..."
"...Johnny." You sent him a look; your hand instinctively covered his for a moment. "It's all gonna be alright. I'm not like, going to a mission where I'm gonna get another injury" you joked. He didn't take it quite well, considering that he gave you a scolding look.
"Mhm." Soap grumbled, helping you as you moved on to your coat. "Text me if you'll need anythin', bonnie. I mean it. Yer arm good?"
"Good, thank you. I'm gonna remember." You smiled softly, nudging him for goodbye, indicating that he could step down from his protective role. Cody was supposed to pick you up, so there was absolutely nothing for him left to do.
Well, at least you thought this way. His thoughts were a little different, as you saw the moment he escorted you to the exit of your apartment building, leaning against the door, as you were getting into your date's car. Cody even waved to him, but all Johnny did was a slight nod, like he was acknowledging him.
Small win, but a win anyway, you thought.
"Hope he's not your hidden boyfriend or something?" Your old friend looked at you for a second, before taking a turn to the left. "Like, he seems pretty... tense, when he sees me. Like he's protecting something."
You needed a few seconds to process what Cody was implying; and when you understood, you couldn't help but laugh and with disbelief. "No, he's completely harmless. Seriously, it's just... maybe he doesn't take strangers well, you know."
"Does he give strangers a distress hotline number instead of yours, or is it just me?" he grinned, and even then, you could hear the question in his tone, which made you gulp a little.
Well, if you’d think this way...
"Well. Johnny is... he's..."
Best friend. He's your best friend.
Why couldn't it leave your mouth?
"He's my... Johnny." You eventually said, looking at him. "He's like that, you'd understand after some time. But he's not my hidden boyfriend or something."
"Note taken. Would be awkward, if I'd taken you on a date and didn't know that." He laughed, shaking his head. "He'd probably kill me, huh?"
You laughed at this too, instead of telling him how Soap was already not pleased with you going out with him, and he was only your... best friend, technically. Heaven only knew what would happen if you'd want to meet Cody if you were in a relationship with him.
It was the possessiveness speaking. If anyone wanted to know something about MacTavish, he was possessive about his things. Obsessively so; it was cute when he clutched the Subway's sandwich to his chest from Ghost, when his friend wanted to take a bite. You, of course, had permission to take it (just a little bite since you were a girl), but no one else could. He cared about his things, he didn't let anyone touch his stuff if it had a sentimental matter to him.
The funny thing about it, he was possessive about people too, which sometimes irritated you to the core; he could have multiple friends and all, but you? Oh, he was interrogating the shit out of them, giving you the side eye if they managed to plan something with you before he did. He felt like he came before anyone, no matter what.
Not to mention, he was only like this about guy friends. Like a dog with a bone that's too precious to give to others. Funny thing is, they didn't even flirt with you, and he was acting like they were stealing you from him.
So, it wasn't really surprising when he didn't want to let you go out with Cody, especially that he somehow knew that you two had a history. You were thankful enough he didn't make a scene right in front of him because that would be humiliating.
Especially when your date seemed to be so nice. Not only did he open the car door for you, but also the restaurant's one, and you couldn't help but smile at that little gesture, nodding to him as a silent thank you. What was even better, you loved the place he chose for tonight.
Your old friend had to remember your taste, considering that the Italian restaurant was probably the prettiest building you've seen in a while. A lot of warm lamps around, climatic music that got your attention right when you walked into the room, greeted by an older waiter with a mustache; everything screamed Italy here, and you were taking in the view with pleasure.
"You like it so far?" Cody looked up at you from the menu; his bright, green eyes sparkled with curiosity in dim light. You suddenly felt bad, since you appreciated the effort more than you've probably let him know.
So, you nodded quickly, your painted nails clicking against the table. "Reminds me of this one restaurant back at home. You know, where we went with Stacy and others?"
"Yeah. Yeah, I remember." He laughed, shaking his head "I remember how Stacy spilled expensive wine on your shirt. Before meeting with your moms, you were pretty pissed back then."
You opened your eyes a little wider at this memory, suddenly remembering it; yeah, Stacy did something like that. What was also important to mention, you were right before an important dinner with your moms and their friends (Price involved), and the tragedy was huge back then. "So, you do remember things, huh?"
"Most of them," he admitted, tilting his head to the side with that boyish charm that he always had. It was something you couldn't really take away from him. "If something is worth remembering, I remember. Mostly situations with you."
It would be a lie if you'd say that dinner didn't go smoothly – because it did. Perfectly, even, knowing how much of a gentleman Cody was, how swiftly he balanced between topics, trying to entertain you. Trying to at least get a glimpse of your life that he didn't get to know since you left your hometown after being deployed and you cut ties with most of your friends. It was something that you liked, something that you adored, knowing he once was interested in you, and you were in him, when you were at high school.
Key words: high school.
As much as you liked him now, you knew it wouldn't work the moment waiter brought your food, and you awkwardly smiled to him, when he bon apetite'd you. Even if he tried to be smug, conversation wasn't effortless like you wanted it to be, you didn't like the way he asked you about your work, implying how it was men's work. Maybe it wasn't evident at first sight, but comments about you ruining your nails and your struggle as the only woman, and everything like that, irritated you.
Maybe it was you being hypersensitive, but you didn't really enjoy comments like this, no matter who it would be.
The chemistry between you two wasn't sparkling as well, and as much as you kept yourself from admitting it, you couldn't brush off a feeling that you would enjoy time with Johnny better. Hell, you were sure that your Scot would make those few hours a lot better. Movies, cooking together, even visiting the gym together... anything.
You felt bad for the thought, when Cody was so nice overall – yet, not nice in a way that would interest you.
"Is that your friend?" You heard him, which brought you back to Earth; he frowned, as he looked behind you. You were sitting right by the window, so he had a pretty clear view on the street.
"Friend?" You raised your eyebrow, amused.
"From earlier on."
You turned around, to see if your date was right; you doubted, really doubted that Cody would see Soap. Your friend was anything but someone that would disturb your date. "I really don't think Johnny..."
Well, Johnny indeed was here, and the thought of him not interrupting your date was completely crushed. You had to give him credit, though; he wasn't that recognizable, you didn't catch him right in the moment. He was in his dark sunglasses and brown cap; if the situation would've been different, you could laugh at how ridiculously similar he looked to all the Marvel characters when they had to hide.
Back then, you balanced on the line between being amused and furious that he didn't respect your time enough with someone else.
Having fun, Johnny?
As you observed him, you saw how quickly he looked around; for a brief moment, you felt like his gaze was on you, and it only confirmed itself when he started typing in his phone again.
dinnae ken what yer talkin about.
"I guess he's just here." You shrugged, lying to him swiftly. "It's the center of the town, yeah? Things... happens."
Cody chuckled, playing with his fork. "Yeah. Yeah. Maybe he is. As long as he doesn't disturb our date, right? It's too nice."
You're a menace to the society, MacTavish; you swiftly typed out under the table. "Yeah. It's too nice." you agreed, even if you thought how interesting it got only because your best friend was outside.
and yer mean: (
You had to hold back a laugh when you've read it; so, you put your phone down and came back to talking with Cody, eating and drinking that delicious wine; you knew you had to buy a bottle after this little adventure. Maybe they didn't sell it, but you were willing to try as soon as the waiter would come with the bill.
It was a personal win for you to come out twenty minutes later out of this restaurant with a bottle in your hand, laughing to your date about something convincing enough to sell it to you. You had to speak with two managers, but it was yours after all, ready to go home with you.
Soap was ready too, even if he acted like he wasn't here; you turned down Cody's proposition of taking you home just to call your best friend to ask where he is exactly, since he disappeared from that bench before you knew it.
"Over the date already? Had to suck, eh?" His eyebrow arched, as he wrapped his arm around your waist. "Sad. But yer sure that lad ain't for you."
"You know," you started, as you grabbed his glasses, just to wear it yourself "if you wouldn't be such a stalker, I'd let you drink wine with me at home. But, now, I have doubts about it."
"Stalker? C'mon. A simple coincidence, that is," he chuckled, as you two walked into his car. "Not my fault you'd rather have me on this date, not him. Can't really blame ya, hen."
You could feel how your face heated up in the moment; maybe if his statement wasn't true, you'd react differently, maybe you would think of a snarky comment. Back then, when you felt exactly like he said, well... It was hard enough.
He seemed to catch the hesitant look at your face, considering how smiley he got. "Oh? Got ye real good, if yer blushin'—"
"—you imagine too much, Johnny, " you mumbled out, as you got more comfortable in your seat, ready to go. "Let's go home, yeah?"
"'st sayin', bonnie. I could have a better date, even at home."
You didn't say anything about his reply. Not because it wasn't true (because it was), not because you were at a loss of words, but because you were conflicted about him and you having a date, when you two were friends. Was he honest, or playing like he always did?
It was just easier to think of it as just banter, ignore it, than actually take him seriously; because if you did and he would have to explain it to you it was just a joke... You were pretty sure that death of embarrassment was gonna happen, honestly. John was too important to you, friendship with him was too important to you to experiment with things like that.
Besides, it wasn't like you two would fit, right? There was a difference between being friends and someone that you could date. Your best friend was great, but as a lover? You didn't know this side of him, you could only guess.
When you finally arrived, you automatically left the car with your head in the clouds. Maybe that's why you haven't even noticed that your best friend was on the other side, trying to open the door for you; and that end up badly, considering that you've hit him with the door.
Low "fuck" snapped you from your thoughts, as well as him holding his nose; you immediately approached him, your expression bashful.
"I'm so sorry, Soap, I—"
"—S'alright." He shook his head, smiling at you like it was nothing. "I've been worse, you know. 'Suppose I deserved that." He nudged you, laughing when you rolled your eyes.
"It wasn't intentional," you groaned, grabbing his arm to start walking with him. "Come on, I'm gonna check it. Just in case."
"Apartment first, ma'am."
So, as soon as you were in the apartment with him, you had to check if nothing was broken – and even if it sounded like a wild thought, breaking a nose in close contact with the car's door, literally everything was possible with Soap, so it was better to be safe than sorry. Wouldn't be the first time that you did something to him without intention of doing it.
Once, when he pretended to be a burglar (he thought it would be funny this way) and he grabbed you from behind in your apartment, you hit him with a flower pot. You laughed afterwards, but you were pretty mad at him in the first ten minutes, trying to find something with ice that would help his headache.
After you checked everything, he seemed to be good. At least, excluding the moment where he thought it would be funny to whine and make you worry, which you smacked him for, but that was just his idiotic side speaking.
This incident though was definitely a lighter one. You've found yourself cleaning his shirt with soap and cold water, since he had a few drops of blood on it, and somehow you felt responsible there wouldn't be any stain left. Soap kept you company even then, shirtless, leaning against the doorframe to have a joke or two about how well you are cleaning blood, suggesting that you have "close connections" with underground fighters.
A simple answer would be period, but you didn't feel like going into that kind of conversation, so you just agreed, telling him he has to book you for the next cleaning. His laugh was everything.
Quickly after this, you were off to sleep, tired with the events of the day; you really needed a good rest, where you'd wrap yourself in the sheets, a warm nest around you. Calm environment, nothing to worry about since you were on leave, and your best friend was in your apartment too, it was the sense of safety here.
Except, your nightmares had a bit different plans than you had.
Ruthless, like they needed to remind themselves, and the worst thing about it was: you lived through every one of them. It wasn't something of your imagination, monsters and creatures that had no place in the real world, no – the realness of it all was scary. The memories you had from missions blended perfectly with events that didn't happen, causing you to have a heart-attack experience.
Nightmares about your team were the worst; where everyone was killed. Where you couldn't do anything but scream; this time, you watched their execution, as every one of your boys were killed right in front of you. Gun wounds, humiliation, where killers wanted them to beg for their life, when they cut the fingers of your comrades just to shoot them afterwards.
And you had to watch all of it, teary-eyed, just begging to stop all this madness.
The worst moment was when royal blue eyes looked right into yours, terrified, with a silent plea in them, hoping that you're gonna be the one to save his life; and the worst thing was, you knew you're gonna fail him. You knew there was nothing you could do to prevent the bloodshed, not when your body refused to move, not when you couldn't even move your finger, nor legs to defend them.
To defend him.
You remembered screaming, when the hope died in his eyes; silent, maybe meaningless words from your side that you're gonna fix all of this, no matter what. How you were the only one alive, and it felt worse than being dead with all of them.
And then, you woke up.
Your breath rapid, shuddery, you had no control over it, as well as you had no control over tears streaming down your face, without you acknowledging the fact of them. The only element that you saw? A pair of blues, looking at you with horror.
Owner of them shook you gently, trying to get you out of the trance you were in; after a minute you were pretty sure that he was talking, but you couldn't really recall what.
You had other things in mind.
"You're alive," you said, breathing out; he seemed shocked at least with your statement, but as he held your hands in his, he nodded quickly.
"Yeah. Yeah, 'm alive. Always will," he whispered. For a moment, the two of you were just looking at each other in silence and breathing. He took as it personal job to ease your nerves, and you could say that he really succeeded at it – the feeling like someone ripped your heart from your chest, slowly but surely vanished. "Better?"
"A bit," you murmured, sighing. You felt kind of bad, even if it wasn't your fault entirely. "I woke you up. I'm so sorry Johnny, I don't even—"
"—sssh. None of that right now, lassie, 'salright." He shook his head, leaning even more in your direction. "Come on. Give me a bosie."
"A bosie?" you chuckled, wiping away your tears. "It's a... hug, or...?"
"It's a hug, aye," he laughed too, wrapping his arms around you tightly – he knew how you liked to be hugged, he knew what you needed back then.
Soap hid his face in your hair, as he caressed your spine softly. He whispered a lot of words back then; soothing ones, encouraging, sweet nothings that made your heart go. How you weren't alone in all of this, how you could always count on him, how he was always gonna be here, no matter what was gonna happen.
All of this, in his arms, slightly rocked back and forth by him, seemed like the sweetest promise ever made, when you listened to his heart, slowly coming back to normal, just like your breath did not long ago. You two had magical influence on each other, you knew, but seeing it in action had you on a chokehold.
If this would be possible, you'd never leave this hug. You were more than happy to stay there with your eyes closed, your arms tightly around him, chin on top of his arm, where you could just smell his scent that somehow calmed you even more.
"'m gonna bring you a glass of water. Then, you're gonna go to sleep, all right?"
You couldn't care less about a glass of water, when you had all you needed in one person.
“Can you... stay?" you asked, slowly, when he started getting out of your bed. Somehow, you felt out of place asking that, but you needed to do this, even if it could seem outward weird to him.
You saw how he froze for a moment, before sitting in your bed again. "Of course."
This wasn't the first time; you once comforted him in bed, you slept next to him on missions just to keep both of you warm, but that was definitely the first time when both of you felt... more intimate. Like it was a change in the air, and after all it was your bed, in your apartment, and you wanted him to be next to you because he brought you comfort.
And because, somehow, it felt like he belonged here.
He spooned you from behind – one of his arms going under your head, so you could easily use it as a pillow if you'd only want, the other around your waist, like he was personally protecting you from anything that could happen to you. His body heat hit you the moment you snuggled more under the sheets. Soap was like a personal heater, ready to do anything to keep you warm.
You were in heaven.
"This will do?" he asked, his voice low. "Is it good for you, lassie?"
"...yeah." You smiled under your nose, when he ruffled your hair with the tips of his fingers, when you laid your head on his arm. "Good."
"Mhm. Sleep now, I'm gonna be here, if you need me." He kissed the back of your head, and from that gesture alone, you just knew for a fact that he was smiling too. "You know I love you, right?"
"I know. Love you too."
And for the first time, it felt a bit different from "I love you" than usual.

The reason for the delay was traffic.
Wanda didn't mind, not as long as her cigarette was lit at least.
The party was going on inside Steve Rogers' apartment, and Brooklyn was full and bustling on the balcony view. The cigarette on her lips came from the box she'd taken from your jacket pocket before you left earlier, and Wanda could smile to herself imagining your grimace when you realized she'd stolen your cigarettes. Perhaps it was a childish way of punishing you for working on her birthday, when after everything that had happened between you, what Wanda wanted most was to keep you by her side, all the time if possible.
While smoking on Steve Rogers' cold balcony, she came to two conclusions: She really was, undeniably and ridiculously in love with you. From here to the moon, and all that cheesy shit they quoted in the movies. Maybe she should get a ring. And the second thing, Wanda wanted to have sex with you tonight.
She blew smoke into the sky, imagining your reaction when she brought up the subject. Flushed cheeks, a hungry look in your eyes, like every time the make-out sessions got heated and she played with the lobe of your ear between her teeth. Maybe she wouldn't say anything. She was just going to wait for everyone to leave the party, and drag you into the bedroom. And pull your hand under her dress so you'd get the message.
The opening of the door took her attention away from the street.
"Hey, birthday girl." It was Natasha, with a casual smile and a leather jacket. She held out her hand, and Wanda handed her the cigarette. "You're not running away from your own party, are you?"
Wanda smiled at the provocation, shaking her head. "I just needed a moment." She mutters, looking down for a moment. "I'm going to tell Y/N tonight that I want to sleep with her."
Nat choked on the drag with a surprised laugh. "Shit, this... is actually good news." She comments good-humoredly. "But to be honest, I thought you two had done that ages ago."
Wanda chuckles, rolling her eyes. "We've almost done it a dozen times." She comments thoughtfully. "Especially when it became official. But then, it just didn't happen. Someone always interrupted, or one of us chickened out." She says sincerely. "I came so close to fucking everything up, Nat. Like, actually fucking us. And I don't think I ever thanked you for calling her that day. Without that, I don't think we would have ever gotten together."
Natasha takes a long drag, shaking her head. "I doubt that very much, Maximoff." She says, gesturing with her cigarette. "You and her have some pretty intense shit going on. Ever since we were kids, you know? More than the Steve and Bucky drama, and I swear to God that's something." The two laugh at the comment. Natasha hands Wanda back her cigarette. "I think if you'd never apologized, you'd end up OD'ing at one of these parties and Y/N would be the person next to your bed."
Wanda looks away, swallowing dry at the mere possibility. When she speaks again, her voice is hoarse. "I don't fucking deserve her."
Nat clicks her tongue indignantly. "Don't say that."
"It's the truth."
"Wanda, shut up." Natasha speaks more seriously and waits for the girl to raise her eyes to her again. "You made a mistake, but there's no one in this world who deserves to be with her more than you do. Have you forgotten how you were there for her with her parents' divorce, or when her grandmother passed away? Because I'm sure she hasn't. And she stays, not just because she's completely in love but because you've already done the same for her. So stop talking shit, and don't let these insecurities try to ruin what you've fought to build."
Wanda hugs Nat around the neck, the girl laughs in surprise but strokes her back. The brunette murmurs a muffled thank you into her friend's hair, and Natasha nods.
A moment later, the moment is broken with a joke about Wanda not being able to keep her pants on, and they leave the balcony into the party laughing.

You know there's something different.
From the way Wanda looked at you when you arrived, or kissed you in the hallway, pressing your back against the wall and biting your lip before dragging you into the party.
She stayed on your lap almost all night, between games and small talk, until she made a complete mess of you when she licked the cake icing off the corner of your mouth.
She was wildly flirting with you until the tie around your neck started to tighten.
When the punch ran out, and she asked you to help her get some bottles of wine with her in the kitchen, Wanda ended up pressed against the fridge, your hungry tongue on hers and your hands everywhere.
"What are you up to, Wanda?" Your question came against her jaw as she paused for breath. The girl squirmed between you and the fridge, her skin burning and her hips impatient.
"I don't know what you're talking about." She lies in a falsely innocent tone directly into your ear. Nails scratching your back under your shirt are returned with a hickey on her collarbone that makes her whimper.
You gasp affectedly, holding her still with a tight grip on her hips, unable to formulate any new sentence if she kept grinding against you like that. "You've been driving me crazy all night, baby. Would it be rude for us to flee your party? I really want to take you home..."
Truth be told, she was so turned on that all that came out of her throat was a pathetic plea. You kissed her again until her knees gave way and Wanda began to consider taking off her clothes in the middle of Steve Rogers' kitchen.
But somehow, you managed to let go and return to the party with her hand in yours; blurry, automatic goodbyes now that the cake was cut, and Wanda was hugged by everyone before she was outside.
You took her downstairs, hand in hand, which you only released to get into the parked car. Wanda let out a shaky breath and you leaned towards her again.
The thought of the two of you getting home was almost comical now.
Your hands pulled her onto your lap effortlessly, as you gasped into each other's mouths. Wanda sucked on your tongue, her hips grinding against your lap in the hope that you would help her with the hot knot at the tip of her stomach, and a loud whine when your hands wasted no time. Your fingers pushed the fabric of her panties away and sank into her with ease, the warmth welcoming you deep inside.
The kiss was broken with a dirty moan, and you almost came just from the image. Wanda gripped your shoulders tightly, panting against your mouth as she rode your fingers.
The car rocked gently, and you let your free hand pull her dress down, exposing her breasts. Your fingers moved to play with her nipples, and Wanda moaned against your tongue.
She came just like that, hard and so pretty, for the first time against your hand. In the seat of the car where you had traveled together dozens of times before, looking at you in a way that at the same time was the same and the most unique way she ever did. A hidden message in her stare that you understood with your heart.
You didn't pull out your fingers from her to tell her you loved her as well.
In fact, you sank them deeper and spun them around her warmth to elicit another moan from her. She choked on her own pleading sighs, and you repeated the movements and the words. Wanda moved against your hand and came again before whimpering:
"I love you too, baby."
And you were still her best friend and the person who could tease her with a breathless giggle: "Really, or is that just the two orgasms talking?"
She chuckled too, more affectedly. "Fuck you."
Your thumb pressed her clit, and Wanda bit your shoulder to stifle a loud moan. "I love you too, asshole." You retorted, kissing her jaw. "But you'll have to say it again tomorrow when you're not riding my fingers."
Wanda bites your mouth to make you shut up.
