Secrets for the Soul
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 5
“That concludes our meeting for tonight, thank you all for making time to join us.” Announced Batman, finally ending this tortuous l, though necessary meeting. Diana stood from her seat and said her goodbyes intent on getting back to Danny for movie night. If she hurried she could stop and pick up ice cream, her hopes of the frozen treat were dashed however when she was stopped by a hand on her shoulder.
“Diana, a moment of your time?” Batman asked with a gruff voice. Diana silently mourned her ice cream as she smiled back and the two stepped away from the zeta-tubes. “As you are aware, Black Canary is leading the training for the covert team. However Canary brought it to my attention that while Superboy is doing well in his training, he is getting very little experience fighting opponents of an equal or greater power level.” Diana frowned.
“He is the teams biggest heavy hitter, it would do them no good if he were to falter when given a challenge.”
“My thoughts exactly, which is why I would like you to take some time to spar with him. Show him what it means to fight above your level.” Batman nodded,
Diana looked at Batman, skeptical “Wouldn’t Superman be better suited for this task.”
“Things between them are a bit…stained to say the least.” He ground out.
Diana frown, “I would be willing to engage the young one in battle, however Superman needs to figure things out with the boy. He is only a child, he needs guidance.” She said firmly.
“I know your hands are already full, we can work out a schedule at another date however I would like it if you would come by this weekend to meet him.” Diana raised her brow. His eye twitched “Please” he added.
“Now that wasn’t so hard was it? Alfred’s been pestering you about manners again, huh?” She smirked. Batman grunted. “That should be fine, I’ll be there Saturday morning at 10, and Batman? I won’t hold back.” She said with a savage grin.
“I would expect nothing less.” And with that Diana took her leave. It was a short flight from the Zeta point to her apartment, when she arrived Danny looked up from his Mars book.
“You’re late~” He said with a grin “You know what that means. You forfeit your movie choice!” Diana sighed as she went to get changed.
“All right, fair is fair, did you pick up dinner?”Danny nodded as he scrolled through the movie choices.
“Chinese is on the counter, drinks are in the fridge.” He shouted as he set up the movie. “Comedy good?” He asked as she made her way to the fridge.
“Sure.” She replied, opening the fridge she grabbed the drinks sitting next to the chain covered stew labeled ‘Danny’s! Do not touch!’
Grabbing the Chinese she made her way over and plopped herself on the couch. “So what are we watching?”
“Only one of my favorite ghost comedies EVER! The Grudge! It’s hilarious, trust me!” He tilted his head in a picture of innocence. “By the way, why were you late, something wrong with the league?” He inquired, nudging her with his elbow. Diana scoffed.
“We are a team of international vigilantes, something’s always wrong. However, in this case, Batman stopped me to ask a favor. There is a young hero who packs quite a punch, however unlike you he has mostly fought people who are physically equal or weaker than him. He needs to train with someone stronger than him to get used to fighting stronger opponents. I’ll be meeting with him on Saturday morning.” Danny nodded.
“Cool, I’m gonna be hanging out with Travis. We were planning to check out the arcade near his new job.” Diana smiled.
“It’s a pity he left the museum, where did he end up going?”
“He got a job on the boardwalk, at that smoothie shop. Y’know with giant monkey on the window.” Diana nodded.
“They do have good smoothies. Grandfather expects us for dinner that night so don’t stay out too late.”
“Sounds great! Hopefully I can get the recipe for that stew, it’s way better than Lunch Lady’s… don’t tell her I said that.” Diana frowned.
“So long as it doesn’t try to eat my lunch again, my poor sandwich it was so young, so tasty.” She replies dramatically with her hand on her heart. “Now start the movie, I wanna see what passes for ghost comedy.” She passes Danny his mushu pork and he presses play….
Two hours later Danny is asleep on the couch as Diana stares at the tv, reevaluating her definition of humor. Looking down at her peacefully sleeping cousin, she couldn’t be too mad. But she could ask around for the best chick flick she could find as payback.
———————-
Saturday morning came, and as promised Diana made her way to a zeta tube. When she arrived at Mount Justice, Batman was already there and based on their reactions he had already briefed them on todays training. She grinned, this was gonna be fun.
She wasn’t wrong either, they each took turns trying to knock her down, each failing more splendidly than the last. When it came time for Superboy to face her she readied herself to face the strength of Superman.
Unfortunately for Superboy, he did not have the same strength as Superman. Diana had also been regularly sparring with Danny, so her evaluation of his strength might have been a bit…skewed to say the least.
Unfortunately only hindsight is 20/20 and so when Superboy charged she immediately countered with full force, and he went flying across the room. After crash landing Superboy quickly righted himself and started charging her once more. Diana, while impressed at his enthusiasm, frowned at how easy it was to push his buttons. She grabbed her lasso and quickly subdued him. He fought against the bindings, though he had no hope of destroying the magical artifact. Diana released him only when he calmed down. She looked Superboy in the eye with a smile.
"You did very well young one, your warrior's spirit is admirable, however you must use it at the right time. When fighting an opponent that you know is stronger than you, you must used that spirit wisely. Wait until you find an opening before you strike, otherwise your opponent will use that strength against you, as I did."
Superboy clenched his fists and grit his teeth, Diana knew that look well. He was frustrated, her advice was likely akin to something he hears quite often. Diana sighed, "I will not tell you to purge yourself of this spirit as it is a useful tool, one I myself use when fighting overwhelming enemies. It is nothing to be ashamed of. However you must be careful not to be consumed by it. I have known many who let the rush of battle consume them. It has never ended in their favor." she approached Superboy, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"I will work with you on this journey, young one, so that you may learn as I did." she said with a smile.
Superboy looked surprised "Seriously? Why? What do you get out of this?" Diana laughed
"What else?! I want a proper rematch! You have impressive strength, I would like to see what you can do with it with a little extra training, young one." Superboy looked her in the eye for a moment before looking to the side.
"My name is Conner." he said with a blunt tone. "And...thank you."
"It's my pleasure Conner, now come, our time today is short let's see who else wants to try their might."
She turned back to see Kid Flash slowly inch behind Artemis. She gave a predatory grin, "It seems we have a volunteer!"
-------------------------
Meanwhile...
Danny woke up with his alarm at noon, and couldn't help but revel in the amount of sleep he got, a whole eight hours. He briefly considered snuggling back into the world's comfiest, and coldest, comforter, gifted to him by Frostbite. He slowly closed his eyes before his second alarm went off reminding him that he does in fact have to get up, as he has plans today.
He dragged himself out of bed, still wrapped in his comforter, and made his way to the kitchen. After starring into the fridge for roughly five minutes, as though it held the secrets of the universe... or poptarts, he grinned and grabbed his leftover stew. Pouring some into a bowl and reheating it, he slowly made his way to the table to savor his blob ghost stew. He jumped only a little when his phone started blaring once more, he scrunched his nose before looking at the caller ID. It was Travis. Danny sighed, it was too early to talk.
"Hnnghh?" The sound of laughter exploded from the other end.
"I'm sorry sleeping beauty, did I wake you?" Danny released a massive yawn.
"Nah, mm jus eatin breakfst? Wazzup?" He mumbled, watching the tiny blobs swim around in his stew with half-lidded green eyes.
"Hey I ran into a buddy of mine, mind if he tags along?" Danny scooped out a particularly plump blob and took a bite.
"Hmmm" Travis laughed.
"I'm gonna take that as a yes. We'll meet you at Café Loco before we head to the arcade, you sound like you need it. Were you up playing video games again last night?" Danny once more responded with a noncommittal, “hmmm” because no he was not playing video games. He was flying invisibly around the city and lost track of time, who wouldn't it was beautiful.
“Alright man, I’ll let you get back to you’re breakfast. See ya soon.” And the call ended.
Danny put his phone back down and finished eating before he started getting ready for the day. He threw on some jeans and a t-shirt, taking a moment to consider the jacket. His core would keep him cold, normally he wouldn’t bother but…. He sighed grabbing the jacket. Being a teen hero left him with more than a few scars, Travis was led to believe he got them in the accident that killed his “parents” but this new guy… it would be annoying to explain again, best avoid it entirely.
He grabbed his wallet and headed out, walking down the street he greeted familiar faces, stopping to pet Mrs. Perkins’ dog as he made his way to the bus stop. It wasn’t a long ride, and when he arrived he clambered out of the bus. Heading towards Cafe Loco like a beacon in a storm. He beelined it to the counter, nearly crying at the lack of a line as he ordered his cappuccino with 4 shots of espresso.
Travis found him huddled in a corner booth, curled around his coffee, watching people pass by. He saw a perfect opportunity and slowly snuck up to the booth, he was inches away from tugging the earbuds out of his ears when Danny suddenly turned his head to look him directly in the eyes. Travis jumped back with a shout, Danny took a long sip of his coffee, the stranger next to Travis covered his mouth trying his best not to laugh.
“Why is it so hard to scare you?! I swear this guy has eyes in the back of his head!” At this point the guy next to him scoffed.
“Or he saw your reflection in the window.” He said, pointing at the offending surface.
“Who’s side are you on?!” The stranger shrugged and Danny chuckled.
“I don’t think pointing out the obvious counts as taking sides. Your Travis’ friend right? I’m Danny, nice to meet ya.” He said, the other guy smiled.
“I’m Matt, nice to meet ya. Is the coffee here any good?” Danny nodded, pulling his coffee closer.
“It’s okay at best, he just likes it because they don’t limit his espresso shots because he bribes them.”
“It’s not consider a bribe of it goes in the tip jar.” He said with a wide grin. Matt blushed.
“Oh really, I’ll have to try that.” He coughed into his hand. “So, uh, you said we were going to the arcade.”
“Hell yeah! You said it had all kinds of new and retro games! Plus desktop gaming! Let’s go!” Danny stood from his seat. While he may never reach the overwhelming height of Jack Fenton, Danny had grown to be a respectable 510. He was quite proud of this fact though he didn’t think of it too much, considering his cousin was over 6’. But still he wasn't that tall, right? Danny thought,
'So why the hell did Matt just look at him like he was 10 feet tall? Sure the guy wasn't huge, but he wasn't exactly short either.'
Matt backed up just a bit, rubbing the back of his neck and looking away, "Yeah, let's get going before it get's too crowded." Danny downed the rest of his coffee and they headed out. Along the way they started talking about the upcoming school year, as it turned out Matt would be joining him as a junior at Gateway High.
Despite Travis' not so subtle diversions, Matt eventually made a rookie mistake. He asked what Danny wanted to do when he graduated. For the next hour Danny went on and on about how he wanted to build space ships, and how amazing space is, and did you read the Daily Planet interview with Martian Manhunter?!
Not to say Danny ran out of things to say about space after an hour, especially when Matt was giving him his full attention even when they got to the arcade and started playing. No, as someone who worked with Danny until his parents made him quit, Travis knew EXACTLY how long winded Danny could be when it came to space so he did the only thing that could distract him from space. He brought up his cousin.
"So I here your cousin is single and ready to mingle, according to Mrs. Doris, you think if I gave her my number I'd have a chance?" Travis wiggled his eyebrows. Danny looked at him as though he just said he put jelly on a tuna sandwich.
"Dude first of all, you're like 17 it's not gonna happen, second of all, and I cannot stress this enough, she is way out of your league." Travis pouted as Matt laughed at his suffering, not knowing his sacrifice.
"Ahh whatever man, let's just play. I hear there's this new game added to the online corner. Something called Doomed?" Danny froze, slowly turning to face Travis.
"Did you say Doomed?" his eyes were wide.
"Yeah? Have you-" Danny grabbed both teens by the arm and dragged them over to the desktops. Over the next few hours, the three of them made characters and a crowd gathered as Danny dominated level after level. Eventually though his alarm went off, reminding him to head home for dinner. After they said their goodbyes, Danny took off leaving Matt and Travis alone.
"Don't even think about it." Travis said, Matt tensed.
"He has single handedly increased the foot traffic in the space exhibit from the sheer amount of people who come to flirt with him. Him and his cousin are next level man." Matt's face turned a fiery red. Travis looked at him with pity. "If it makes you feel better, he has yet to actually say yes to anyone. To be fair though, I don't think he realizes their flirting when he's in space mode." Travis shrugs.
Matt nearly wept.
---------------
Danny dug into the lasagna with extreme gusto, while Diana ate at a much more restrained pace as she ate her second helping.
"You've outdone yourself, grandfather. Dinner is absolutely divine." Diana complemented the elderly (at the moment) Ancient. He gave her a proud smile.
"I should hope so, I got this recipe from Naples in the 15th century, from a lovely family of noodle makers. I tweaked it a bit based on it's evolution, I'm quite proud of how it turned out." he said with a grin as his form shifted to that of a young man. "But enough of that, how was your day today? I know you were planning on training the young Kryptonian clone today, how did that go?" grinning, Diana raised a brow, Danny perked up.
"Have you been spying on us grandfather?" Danny laughed.
"He's always spying on us, trust me. But who cares, what was that about a clone?" Diana sighed, resigned.
"Conner is a clone of Superman. Normally it would be his responsibility to train him, however he has been a bit... reluctant to interact with the boy." Danny scrunched up his nose.
"Did he try to kill him yet?" Diana looked at Danny, surprised.
"Superman may object to training him but I assure you he has not intent-" Danny waved his hands.
"No, no, not Superman. Did Conner try to kill him yet, it's like, a clone rite of passage." Diana stared at Danny. Danny stared back.
Clockwork drank his tea, fully aware of what he started.
"I'm gonna need a little more explanation than that." Danny shrugged
"I mean, he's gotta try to kill his original at some point. Just to get it out of his system y'know. My clone didn't last a full day before she tried to kill me." Danny shrugged, taking another bite of his lasagna.
Diana gave him a look like she was praying to the gods for patience, honestly she probably was, before she finally responded.
"When exactly were you cloned?" Danny shrugged.
"When I was like, 14 I think. I know it was after I met gramps, now that is a crazy story." Diana took a deep breath.
"We can get to that later, can we focus on the clone that tried to kill you? Please?" Danny set down his fork on his now clean plate.
"I guess, there's not really much to tell. My dad's best friend, who hated him by the way, wanted me to be his son because we were the only existing halfas, he's not technically he's more alive than he is dead, and because he was in love with my mom, she despised him, I told him no when he repeatedly demanded for me to join him, of course not he's a fruitloop, so he cloned me, a couple times actually but none of them were stable so they destabilized, and Ellie, the only stable clone, posed as my cousin, she is now kinda, and when my back was turned she tried to kill me. It's cool though, she realized Vlad was a fruitloop and we beat him up." he shrugged. "Like I said, there's really not much to tell." he explains before he starts to sneak over to the cookie jar.
Diana looked over at her grandfather, "What?" he nodded in symathy.
"I understand it's a lot to take in, however I assure you any future murder attempts perpetuated by young Ellie are completely harmless. She spends most of her time these days exploring the realms or spending time with Pandora." Clockwork explained.
Diana sighed turning to Danny "And you were okay with this? Being cloned by your enemy."
Danny swallowed his bite "Oh, hell no. I was pissed. Not only did he violate my privacy, he stole my DNA! He made a kid to replace me! So I kicked his ass and stole my clone." Diana looked to the heavens for advice, Clockwork set a hand on her shoulder.
"The gods will be no help when it comes to things like this. Trust me." he smiled. "And how was your day Danny? Did you have fun making friends?" Danny grinned.
"Definitely! He let me blather on about space!" Diana's eyes went wide.
'Dear gods, not another one.'

Dating J'onn J'onnz would include:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fem!Reader or GN!Reader TW: None
A/N: For the sake of my sanity and J’onn’s happiness, Martians are alive and well and these headcanons are based more on the young justice show. The reader is already a member of the justice league in this but maybe I’ll do some civilian headcanons later.
You both started out as pretty good friends but you never thought he’d like you romantically due to cultural differences. For him what you looked like didn’t really matter, your personalities meshed so well he wanted you around all the time.
Despite having an open and honest friendship you kind of tried to bury your feelings from J’onn when you guys would talk telepathically. He did pick up on this though and it bothered him for a while but he didn’t want to pry.
There’s this lingering tension though, you both like each other but one doesn’t want to overstep and the other is afraid of rejection. Other people can pick up on it too but nobody wants to say anything. There’s this romantic undertone with how you guys talk to each other but again nobody says anything. The other members of the league watching you guys interact is basically like this:
J’onn: “Would you like some refreshments after your journey to the watchtower? I’ve prepared some coffee for you.”  You: Ah, no thank you I appreciate it! Are you ok? I heard your last fight in Metropolis was tough, I was worried about you.  J’onn: And I you, your battle with Grodd caused me some distress but it was well fought. I’m happy you are unharmed.”
Wonder woman, Superman and Shazam standing in the corner like ???🧍‍♀️🧍‍♂️🧍???
Things really get shaken up when M’gann makes her debut, she picks up on it as soon as you enter the room thinking you wouldn’t mind(due to your friendship of course). She ends up reaching into that crevice you thought you’d hidden. J’onn is unaware of this for like a second before she just comes out and says it. “Uncle J’onn have you guys started dating yet??” After she says that he’s looking at her like 👁️👄👁️.
You fall out of your chair and M’gann realizes she messed up. Lucky for her she made a swift exit out of the room. You try not to make eye contact but J’onn is looking directly at you.
At this point you both couldn’t put it off anymore and talked it out. You tell him your insecurities and he does the same. His fears about the attraction not being mutual due to the whole alien thing. Fortunately for you guys none of that matters since you’re so sickeningly in love. Now we get to the nitty gritty! The dating!
J’onn does everything in his power to learn Earth customs, especially your own culture, the language, the food. He wants to learn about it all to be closer to you. If english isn’t your native language he does a little brain download of it and speaks it with you. He’ll even prepare your favorite dish despite many, many failed attempts. When you make the same effort to learn about Martian culture it really warms his heart. It’s a rocky road but you get the hang of it, his family loves having you over. They’ll shapeshift into you when you come over and give you one big hug.
You have to awkwardly explain why you’re seeing a new guy every week before J’onn chooses a form he likes. He doesn’t understand why it’d be a problem but he stops for you. It doesn’t matter though since he takes it off when you get home or when you’re among friends. He loves to shapeshift for you to make you laugh, turning into celebrities or mascots to prank you. You wake up in the morning and open the bathroom door to see Chiitan taking a shower. He’ll even do stupid stuff like long furbys or the fresno nightcrawler.
Fighting together is a breeze, nobody is crazy enough to go after you in the field. And psychic attacks forget it, you can’t beat a martian when it comes to telepathy. People often underestimate how strong J’onn actually is so they do enter the process of fucking around and finding out. He never doubts your ability to protect yourself either but if the need arises and you get overwhelmed he will step in.
You understand J’onn’s feelings more than most, despite constantly being linked to each other’s mind. Like Bruce his body language is subtle, there are certain ways his lips twitch or how he rubs his fingers together. You both have a great understanding of each other’s emotions, it’s so wonderful. He never keeps things from you and is very blunt with his opinions. He feels like it’s insulting to you to use flowery language instead of being honest.
He doesn’t mind PDA, however much you’re comfortable with he’ll do. However he won’t be hanging off of you in public, he will stay within arms reach. He always wants you to know he’s nearby and you’re safe. His love language largely revolves around words of affirmation. J’onn is a great person to vent to since he is a great listener and he’s lived a long life so he’s got some words of wisdom. You need advice? He’s your man.
You can literally feel how much he loves you, he’ll even show you how he sees you. All colorful and bright like the sun. He’d literally walk through fire for you, his loyalty is unmatched.🗣️🗣️ You always tell him he doesn’t need to but he’ll do it anyway. After the most difficult day of missions and handling Martian and Earth politics, a moment in your arms rejuvenates him. For someone who isn’t super touchy the other thing he loves to do is hold your head in his hands and press your foreheads together. No words are exchanged, you just quietly enjoy each other’s presence.

Mending a Family 8/?
Prev | Next
I'm back! Sorry for the long wait, my laptop broke, and it took a while to save the money up to fix it.
Here's the next chapter; sorry it's so short
They’re looking for you.
Jason had received the text from Roy not even a minute ago. He didn’t have to ask who ‘they’ were. Jason knew the Bats wouldn’t leave well enough alone and let him live his life, but he had hoped. He sighed; he couldn’t worry about that now.
“Everything’s okay, daddy?”
“Everything’s fine. Let’s go finish packing your things.”
Jason had found a new place for them to stay in the following days since they found Jazz and Ellie. Thankfully, he had money, or they would’ve been stuck in the small cabin for a while. Jason smiled as he watched Danny hum while putting away his few toys.
The cabin had come furnished, so Jason had bought new furniture to be delivered to the small three-bedroom house he had rented. It wouldn’t be their permanent living space. It was only until he could buy a bigger house.
The kids would have the smallest rooms, Jazz would have the biggest, and Jason would take the second-biggest. He didn’t have much and hadn’t had a chance to take his books out of storage yet, anyway. Jazz walked into the room and watched Danny while she fed Ellie a bottle. He didn’t have much and hadn’t had a chance to take his books out of storage yet, anyway. Jazz walked into the room and watched Danny while she fed Ellie a bottle.
Ellie waved at Jason and then smiled. Jason couldn’t help but smile back; she looked so much like Danny.
“I have to thank you again for doing this for us.”
“Nonsense, Danny is my kid now, and you’re his sister, well, my sister. Family sticks together.”
Jason and Jazz were now the Nightingale siblings. They were raising their kids as single parents. If asked, Danny’s mother died during childbirth, and Jazz’s no-good boyfriend left her and their daughter behind. The two siblings decided to pool their resources together and raise the two cousins under one roof.
Jazz had just turned eighteen, but her new fake ID said she was twenty. Jason had aged himself up, too. He was twenty-three instead of twenty.
“Not many people would help a random kid they met in an alley, let alone adopt him and then take in his sister and clone.”
Jason shrugged, “I’m not like many people.”
He ignored the voice that told him he was becoming Bruce.
“Besides, I’m being selfish; Danny has helped me with my pit madness.”
“His ectoplasm was yucky, Jazzy.”
Ellie finished her bottle, and Jazz helped burp her.
“Hmm,” Jazz hummed while looking a Jason. It made him want to squirm.
“Once we settle into the new place, I’ll tell you both what happened in our dimension. Right now, I’m too tired to recount things.”
“That’s fine, Jazz. Take your time. I’m not in a hurry to find out why I’m so small.”
“He’s right,” Jason reassured her, “you don’t have to tell us yet; you’ve been through a lot.”
“Thank you,” she whispered.
Jason smiled, “now, who’s ready to see their new home?”
____
“Roy, please, I need help.”
Roy gritted his teeth; he was tired of Dick pestering him.
“You have the rest of the Titans looking for the poor guy, and Batdad probably has Superman on his ass. You don’t need me.”
“I just don’t understand why you’re not in a hurry to look for him to find out if he’s okay. It’d be one thing if you knew already—unless,” Dick’s eyes narrowed.
“Of course; why didn’t I see it earlier? You do know where Jason is, and you didn’t tell anyone?!”
Roy dodged the first punch but was unable to escape the kick. Dick got him by his shirt and slammed him against the wall.
“Where is he?”
Roy almost forgot how much of a bad temper Dick had and how scary he could be.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“I swear to God, Roy if you don’t tell me where my little brother is…”
“Even if I knew, I wouldn’t tell you.”
Dick scowled and let go of Roy. As Roy walked away, Dick yelled after him.
“We will find Jason and bring him back home.”
Roy ignored the man; he was too full of himself.

Love in the McFreezer
A/N: THIS WAS WRITTEN BY A FRIEND, NOT MY WRITTING.
Summary: Y/n works at McDonalds. Jason was a sweet regular. Mortal!Jason x Reader. Words: 1k+
TW: DO NOT READ if you have Cryophobia/Frigophobia/Claustraphobia
Tumblr media
"The regular?" She looks up from the register. Jason swears he would have kicked Percy and Leo in the crotch (their suggestive giggles were staring to piss him off) if they weren't in public. He settles for a smile instead (and a quick glare at his mates).
"Yeah. With an expresso and milkshake please."
"Make it blue too-ph!?" Y/n smiles at Percy. "I see you've brought your friends."
"Uh, yeah. This is Percy, and-"
"I'm Leo- Bad boy. McShizzel Supreme Commander-"
"Right-" Jason drags Leo off to the table, "I'll get the orders!"
She simply chuckles whilst giving him the nod and moving to her next customer.
"Bro," Percy looks at her. "I would say she's kinda cute -not against Annabeth, of course- aaand I can picture little 'Jason-Y/n's' running around." Jason blushed.
Leo had, mean while, started building a sword out of the straws he'd stolen. "I second that."
"Btw, u saw finding nemo? And Aquaman?"
"Bro, that's, like, the 25th time you’ve said that." Leo groaned in exasperation.
"Hey!" Percy protested, "I can't help it they're good-"
"It worse than star wars!"
"Don't you dare say that-"
"Guys-"
"Um, Jason?-" All three of them stop their squabbling and look at y/n's nervous figure.
"Oh, um, hey..?"
"I...We kinda need your help...? None of us are tall enough to reach the top ingredients in the freezer and we really need it right now cause, you know, we got a lot of customers coming in and-"
"Relax Hot stuff," Leo winked at her (whilst kicking Jason's shin). "I'm sure Jason will help you, wouldn't you, Superman?"
This is your chance
"Yeah, totally."
 "Woah."
Y/n grinned. "First time visiting a storage freezer?"
"Yeah." Jason looked around, picking on a cardboard flap that was laying on the floor. He wasn't going to admit that it was her he had been staring at the whole time. Y/n clapped her hands authoritatively.
"Okay, now Mr. Grace, you take four boxes of those frozen meat (Idk how McDonalds works- don't come at me.) and unload them to Faith at the kitchen. Be quick! We got customers!"
"Ay Ay Captain!" Jason saluted and and began working (unaware of Y/n staring at his abs whenever his shirt rode up a little).
"The last one's up there-no, the one on your left-yeah that-Jason look out!"
"What the-?!" The tiny mouse ran about, making him scream, lose his balance and fall on to the cluster of other cardboard boxes,  no doubt damaging them.
The lights flickered, the room seemed to get warmer but was still considerably cold.
"What's going on?" Y/n tried pulling the door, tugging harsher and finally kicking when she realized it was locked.
"I have no idea how all this is happening," she exclaimed.
"Um, I think I smashed your box of...frozen potatoes? I don't really know either..."
"I don't have my phone," y/n admitted. "I left it with Faith- wait, Jason, what is the time?"
"Five to Five, um, but why?"
"That's it! We have inspection at 6. If we can't get out right now, then the inspection team can help us."
"I'm cold." 10 min have passed, and the voice made him turn next to the huddled figure. He didn't have a sweatshirt or coat to give her.
"I know. Just some more time. I really wish I could help you."
"Then cuddle?" This got both of them surprised, but Y/n recovered faster and coughed.
"I-I'm sorry, I just meant-"
"I mean, we could..." A pause, and Y/n put herself on to him, curling herself into his embrace. Jason noted how her arms where freezing cold, though nervous, he soon melted in her embrace.
"Jason?"
"Hmm?"
"You're shivering."
"I'm fine."
"Has anybody told you that u r a bad liar?"
"Um..."
"That explains it." Silence.
"Y/n?" Jason's voice had a crack in it.
She lifted her head from the crook of his neck. "Yeah?"
You 100% miss the shots you don't take.
"I...I.." Jason faltered.
"Hey, you don't have to tell me if you don’t want to, you know that right?"
"No no no I want to." He took a deep breath. "Ijustwantedtotellyouthatilikeyouanditscompletelyokayifyoudontfeel-"
"Jason-"
"-thesamewaybutI-"
"Jason wait-"
"-stillwannaletyouknow-"
"Jason Grace." Jason shut his mouth, effectively having snapped out of his daze. Y/n moved forward, turned around, and sat crisscrossed facing him.
"Come again, slowly please."
"I like you," a pause. "I've had a crush on you ever since...let's just say for quite some time now." He shrugged, not wanting to give away his nervousness, and Y/n's black face didn't really seem to help either. But he continued.
"I understand if u don’t feel the same way, but I just thought I'd let u know bout it and get it off my chest."
Jason stared.
Y/n stared.
Jason stared.
Y/n stared.
And smiled. And squealed.
"Omg you got to be kidding me i cant even-(insert squealing noises)-Yass gurl, who's lucky day is it? MiNe- Oh." A wave of mortification embarrassment was visibly rolling off her. "Um, ha ha, I'd luv to...Sorry, u weren't supposed to c that."
Jason rubbed his neck, feeling the second hand embarrassment before they stared at each other once more, and burst into laughter.
"C-Can I....like, kiss you?" Instead of answering, Jason just nodded affirmative, and they let their lips brush, barely, before Y/n placed her hand behind his head and pulled him into a proper kiss. Jason felt the adrenalin rushing through him, and he could have sworn he'd faint from the sheer disbelief of it actually happening. He'd heard people say of the sparks, but he didn't remember anyone mentioning how safe and protected he felt. He couldn't explain the feeling...it was just...there. And oh how he wanted to do this forever.
A creaking, which soon turned into a banging, parted them from each other and they turned their heads towards the door. Y/n pursed her lips, while Jason bit his, and raised his eyebrows.
"Is this normal?" He asked.
"No," she frowned.
Before either of them could further react, the freezer door burst open, revealing Leo, Percy and Faith, all of them grinning.
"Took you long enough."
"No. You guys took long enough," Y/n had already pushed past Faith and ran off. "I need to pee! Move out of my way Bethany-"
Oh fuck you guys. Thank fucking you.

Tumblr media
Back to the comics, and to the first issue.
Tumblr media
2022 was the 10th Anniversary of IDW’s My Little Pony Comics. To celebrate it, they have reprinted the first issue of the comic. And since I reviewed it already with the rest of the storyline I don’t believe I will repeat it. But luckily for us there is more than just a reprint. There’s an additional story taking place after the events of Season 9 (because I don’t buy their Season 10 comics being the true continuation)...
Tumblr media
So this story starts off with Adult Spike telling one of the comic stories at a Meet and Greet. So according to the comics, Spike wrote all these comics. I like the idea that since he was so interested in comics he would get into making them. So with that in mind, it is currently implied that the comics are Spike retelling the events he’s been through (or heard about) and retold them in the form of comics.
Tumblr media
But then Plot Device (a name I give to a Strawman) begins to complain about continuity. While I have made similar criticisms, I’m hopefully not the absolutist as this guy is. I know the fact that these guys don’t have the same access to the main plot as the actual show runners. So as much as I have complained about continuity not matching up, it really isn’t the big point this person is making it out to be. Like I’m pretty sure Siege of the Crystal Empire is a bad story even if Sombra never did come back. And the Friends Forever comic with Trixie and Rarity being bad was more about the development the comic itself made for Trixie being forgotten.
Tumblr media
So Spike revealed he had the idea to turn his stories into comics two years after Twilight and Spike moved to Ponyville, so he was writing it as it was happening. But since he couldn't see the future, gaps had to be filled when he could. Like how Starswirl first defeated the Sirens according to IDW in Fiends Forever Vs how it was shown in the show (and then in more details in the comics). And Spike makes a good point: at the end of the day, you’re just trying to tell a good story. If you have to do something to make it good, try to do so. If it works then it was worth it.
Tumblr media
But I totally disagree with this pony. Season 9 Sombra is the best Sombra! He’s less Anakin and more Superman 2 Zod. And because this is a writer venting, the audience agrees with Spike’s side. And the host of the event still enjoyed his “Party Canon” even if they weren’t true. And it has a nice message about that: “it may not be canon but it gives you more of what you love”. When IDW does that, I think it’s the best.
Tumblr media
Thing is what I love differs from others. I’ve seen people enjoy the more Adventure Side of MLP but I’m a Slice of Life guy for this series. So if I were to get more stories letting us know things about the characters the show wouldn’t tell, I definitely enjoy it more. Like the Season 10 comics, I wasn’t a fan of the overarching story because it introduced so many new characters that they expected me to like. 5 from Zecora’s homeland, 4 new cats, 6 dogs, 5 birds, and 6 villains who only show up in two comics. Now compare that to the comics that are building up to the Cheese/Pinkie future that I love. Which do you think I’m more invested in?
Tumblr media
And 2022 ends with being the best years in recent history for me as not only is Sticks the Badger back in the Sonic Franchise, but Mina the Dragon returns after who knows how long. With it ending that all those stories are true in a certain way. Overall, ignoring Plot Device, it is a nice story to celebrate the 10th Anniversary.

DC-Verse Theater part 3
“Alrighty next clip is a sibling universe of this universe so again most things are the same as yours with some slight differences.”
Damian’s eyes narrowed as he tried to spy on her phone with Jon in between them, “What kind of differences.”
“Well in this universe Jason and Bruce manage to talk some things out. A more glaring difference is that this Jason is a scientist.”
“Woah, really Jason?”
The man in question smacked the archers shoulder playfully, “Hey what that’s supposed to mean! I’m smart!”
“Yup Jason in this universe practically lives in space!”
The video started to play, “Oh also in this universe Konner doesn’t exist.”
“Wait what!” Tim was horrified, Konner nodded it made sense they couldn’t all exist every time… especially when they weren’t even born in the first place.
The scene opened on Jason and Tim in Jasons apartment kitchen. It was kinda creepy how the apartment looked exactly the same, until they kept walking. Leading them both into a room that looked like Roy’s workshop, me mechanical garbage thrown everywhere.
“I am wiped out guess I’ll turn in.”
Cass raised an eyebrow, usually they had to fight for Tim to sleep.
“Cool.”
Jason looked at the screen, huh looks like him and replacement had a good relationship here. He felt bitter about it, not that he deserved a good relationship with the replacement.
“Jay, I feel like I’ve spent my whole life pretending Bruce is a great guy and trying to be like him and the ugly truth has always been-“
Tim didn’t like were this was going, but at least him and Jason were close. Close enough for Tim to tell him things like this, real brothers.
“That he’s not that great a guy and you are exactly like him?”
“Am I evil?”
Bruce felt like his nerves were on fire, he knew he wasn’t a good man but Tim?
Damian scoffed, “As if you have the capacity to ever be Batman.”
“Actually Tim is the most like me.”
The room grew silent, as Tim hunched his shoulders. He never wanted to be Batman in the first place.
“Worse you’re smart. When you know nothing matters the universe is yours and I have never met a universe that was into it.
It was Hals turn to raise an eyebrow, “That kinda sounds like he drops into different dimensions a lot.”
Chimera smiled, “Oo! Got it in one! And people saw your the dumb one.”
The universe is basically an animal that grazes on the ordinary creates infinite idiots just to eat them not unlike your husband Brecard -“
“Bernard”
“Yeah hardly matters now sweetie.”
“I MARRIED Bernard !!!”
Konner could admit to being a little itty bit jealous.
“Jay I’m out of excuses to not be who I am … so who am I ? What do I do?”
“You’re asking Jason for advice?- ow”
“I’m asking Jason for advice? I guess we’re close …” it felt nice to know there was one world out there where his Robin liked him.
“My advice? Take off, leave Gotham before it eats you.”
“Jason!”
“What Dick! It’s not like any of you would even notice if he left and it’s obvious that this Tim isn’t happy to be there.”
“I can’t do that! The titans, Dick, my job and as much as I hate to admit it ABCs the Bachelor- “
Dick couldn’t help but feel vindicated, of course Tim wouldn’t leave. “I Knew it I knew you liked the Bachelor! We should have a movie night Tim-“
“Oh maybe Dick, I’m pretty busy.”
“Oh okay no worries Timmy.”
“I can make a clone of you.
Konner couldn’t breath.
A perfect instance of you with all of your memories an exact copy in every way. It will love and provide for the family, do your job and consume broadcast network reality tv on the same alleged ironic level you do. You could be gone a day, a week of the rest of your life with zero consequences. The moment you decide to come back I flip a switch and the clones job is done. It feels no pain, it regrets nothing, it has zero chance of going BladeRunner.”
“Konner-“
“I’m fine.” And he was he didn’t need Superman’s pity, he didn’t want it. He didn’t get to do that, he had made his choice.
“If nothing matters, why would you do that for me?”
Jason rede used to ever admit it but he actually did like replac- Tim. He liked Tim, but after everything Jason didn’t have any room left to stand on with the kid. And he had done it to himself.
“I dunno maybe you matter so little that I like you. Or maybe it makes you matter. Maybe I love you. Maybe something about the Pits. Don’t jump a gift shark in the mouth.”
Bruce took note of Pits being mentioned, at the very least maybe these videos could help him figure something’s out. They might even give him information on how to help Jason.
“I don’t know if I can do it.”
Divk smiled of course not, this was Tim. His little brother wouldn’t just leave. Not like that, he couldn’t lose a brother like that. Even if Tim was cloned he’d notice! He’s know Tim since he was eight!
“Then stay and luxuriate in a life that you can finally know you’ve chosen.
Damian scoffed, ‘chosen’ of course Drake was the only one to get a choice. Everyone else had been dragged into the Batfamily, but Drake? Drake just waltzed in like it was nothing.
My secret bonus is no matter what you choose you’re finally gonna chill the fuck out.”
Jason laughed, “Yeah Timborine fucking chill out with your identity crisis and pick a lane.”
“Okay I know what I wanna do.”
“Tim…?” Stephanie would like to believe that Tim wouldn’t but… after everything Tim had changed.
Tim folded into Konner.

Chapter 5: Shredder
Splinter's story
Shorter chapter, about 2.5k, here's the ao3 link as always
Laughter filled the sewer tunnels as voices got closer. Splinter smiled as he heard the voices travel under him, leading into the tree. He was in the kitchen preparing himself some tea. As the voices settled under him, he pulled out a cooking pot and filled it with water before pulling out some more mugs.
“I really didn’t think they would kill off the Captain!” April shouted.
“Oh please, he’ll be back next season,” Raph responded. “It’s like Superman, they’ve killed him so many times now, but he always comes back.”
“Yeah but wouldn’t that make his sacrifice meaningless?” Mikey asked, plopping onto the couch.
Leo turned on the tv, the cable was set to the news. “But there’s no show without him! He’s the greatest! Plus, what about the alien invasion? Sure his crew is safe thanks to his sacrifice, but the world is in danger!”
Donnie pulled out the basket where all the games were kept. “Yeah but I think the rest of the crew is supposed to save the world. What game do we wanna play?” He spread them out.
April sat in front of him, looking through the pile. “Mario kart and party are classics, ooh but I haven’t played wii sports in forever!”
“Raph’s not allowed to play that ever since the ‘bowling incident,’” Mikey said, making air quotes. “Also I really do think they’ll bring the Captain back.”
“Yeah! Besides, it was the dimensional warper that broke and caused the explosion, he might just be stuck in another dimension!” Leo added. “The rest of the crew will find a way to bring him back, then they’ll kick alien butt!”
“Okay let’s say he is in another dimension, do they even have the time to bring him back?” Raph asked. “Or do they even know he’s alive?”
“If no one else is gonna choose a game, we vote for either Mario kart or Mario party,” Donnie told them.
“Kart,” Leo and Mikey said at the same time.
“Party,” Raph and April agreed on.
“Kart it is,” Donnie said, putting it aside. “We can play Mario party later.”
“Who made you the deciding vote?” Raph asked.
“I was the last vote, it just works that way. Sorry you were out voted.” He started organizing the other games and putting them away.
“Besides, Mario Kart is better,” Leo added.
Splinter came down the stairs with a mug in hand. “I’m happy to see you all made it home safely. No troubles I presume?”
“Nope, we’re all accounted for,” Leo told him. “No gangs were in sight tonight.”
“That’s good. I made some tea, and there’s another pot on the stove for hot chocolate if you all would like some.”
“Thanks dad!” Donnie started looking for the remote to change the HDMI on the tv. It was just another interview at the moment, he was barely paying attention to it as Leo and Raph started to argue about what game was better.
“What made you decide to move all the way to New York from your country?” a woman asked.
The man on screen, one of Asian descent from what Donnie could tell, wore a dark purple suit and had his hair combed back. He found the remote fallen in front of the couch just as the man was answering. “Well I felt it would be a great business opportunity, it brought me close to my supporters as well as my competitors. As they say, keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.”
As he laughed, a cup shattered against the floor. Everyone turned to Splinter, who stared slack jawed at the screen. His wide eyes were glued to the man.
“Saki?” he asked quietly.
“Oh my god, are you okay?” April asked, rushing to his side and pulling him away from the broken glass.
“Dad?” Leo questioned as he was brought to the couch.
“You’re not cut are you?” Mikey asked as they started to surround him.
“I- I’m sorry. I’m unhurt, I just…” Splinter tried to look at his sons but his eyes couldn’t focus on them, only the tv. “I never thought I would see him again. Especially not here…”
“Who is he?” Donnie asked.
“How do you know him?” Raph demanded.
“He is… He once was my brother. Not anymore.” Finally he seemed to tear himself away from the tv, looking down with dark eyes.
The room was quiet except for the tv, where Saki continued to talk about his business and his hope for the future. Some sort of technology business. No one was really listening.
Leo grabbed the remote and put the interview on mute, already feeling anger and hatred for the man who could put his father in such a state.
April took Splinter’s hand. “You don’t have to talk about it. We understand if-”
Splinter raised his other hand to cut her off. “No, I should. Of course, I should have known he would come here one day. He is not a fool, he knows I’m alive.” He looked to his sons. “I should have told you my story long ago, as a warning of the Foot clan.”
I grew up in the Hamato clan in Japan. We lived in a part of Japan hidden from the rest of the world. My father, the leader of the clan, had me training from a young age. He was a harsh man, but a good teacher. By seven, I had mastered a great deal of my clan's skills. I was trained in every weapon, and studied hard. Not only would I have to lead my clan one day, but I had to protect it. For we had a great enemy, the Foot clan.”
However, one day my father and my mother, and many people from my clan had left home. A battle took place at where the Foot clan resided. I didn’t know about this until after less than half of the clan returned. My mother was not among the survivors.”
In my father’s arms, he carried a baby. The baby was a two year old, his name was Saki. Oroku Saki, the son of the leader of the Foot clan. My father told me this, then he told me that he will be my brother. I saw no fault with this. After all, the baby did not carry his family’s sins.”
We were raised together, trained together, and learned together. He was given a new family name, the Hamato name. I still don’t know if it was my fathers choice to take me in, or my mothers. However my father didn’t make it a secret that he was adopted, he just hid who his parents were.”
My father was still an angry man, still one harsh with his words. He did not treat either of us well. I tried to shield Saki from his harshness, but I don’t know if I did well. Saki started to grow resentment for my father.”
He had us train every day for long periods of time. Often he would have us spar against one another. We became rivals. My father believed our rivalry would make us grow stronger, and it did.”
I still tried to keep our bonds of brotherhood strong. I felt we were close for sometime, but eventually my brother grew tired of our rivalry. After all, I had beaten him in most of the fights. And eventually my father started to favor me. Either because I was the better fighter, the oldest son, or his biological son, I couldn’t tell.”
Saki started to become bitter, more quiet. But he still didn’t mind spending time with me, or with Tang Shen. She was…” Yoshi was quiet, his eyes saddening as he took a shaky breath. “She was our friend. Saki’s bitterness never reached her. She was part of the clan and trained with us during our down time. My br… Saki and I both fell in love with her. As we matured, she chose me.”
I tried to keep a good relationship with Saki but his anger grew when Tang Shen and I were dating. He started to resent me but he did his best to hide it. So the night I announced our engagement, when the two of us were alone, we had a fight.”
We’ve had disagreements every now and then, but we have never truly foughten like this before. We fought about how father had treated me better, how I was better at fighting than he, and he claimed that I had taken everything away from him. We had said things to each other that we had not before. I… am not proud of what I said, I couldn't control my anger anymore and I told him he wasn’t even my brother. Regret filled me the moment he left, and ever since then.”
As Tang Shen and I planned our wedding, I saw Saki very little. We planned to have our honeymoon in New York, as she has always wanted to come here. I was hoping to reconnect with him before the wedding, he was my best man after all. But… a few days before the wedding, disaster struck.”
In the time I had not seen him, Saki was seeking out his real family. He had heard whispers of the Foot clan, but it was destroyed. Still, he managed to find out who his true parents were and what had happened to them. Needless to say, he was not happy that the angry man who had raised him had also killed his parents and kidnapped him as an infant.”
No longer was he part of the Hamato clan. Still he stayed, finding remaining members of the Foot clan and their family. Then… he attacked Tang Shen and my home. I was not there at the time the attack had begun.”
When I returned home I knew something was wrong. I went to the main living area as quietly as I could. I found Tang Shen was on the ground and her tessen, her war fan that she used as a weapon, was knocked from her hand. And standing above her was a man wearing a kabuto that I had never seen before. But when he turned around, I saw Saki’s eyes staring back at me.”
I barely had time to ask what he had done before he was attacking me. I managed to grab Tang Shen’s tessen to protect myself. We fought, and it was just like our sparring matches. Of course I had the upper hand, but I could not hurt him. He was my brother. I was foolish.”
He whistled a signal and suddenly we were not alone. I struggled against several foes. I was good but Saki was trained the same way I was. With help, he managed to wound me. Thinking I was down, he lit a fire. But I refused to let him get away, so I chased after him. I was able to knock him out, but I could not deal the killing blow. Instead I ran away before his people could attack in retaliation.”
My home was engulfed in flames. When I had tried to run back in to pull Tang Shen away, the doorway collapsed. I could not get in. All I have left of her is her tessen.”
I could not stay to mourn, the Foot clan were still in the area and I was injured. Before they could attack me again, I ran away. Later I learned while I was licking my wounds, the rest of my clan was attacked. My father was next, he did not survive either.”
With no friends or family, I left Japan with the plane tickets that were luckily in our car. I took whatever I had, which was not a lot, and I built a new life in America. I had a dojo for sometime, trying to pass down my family’s techniques. Until the night I was mutated, and had found you four.” He looked up at them with a sad smile. It was weak and didn’t stay on his face for long.
“I had thought that my troubles were far past me. I never expected Saki to come to New York. I don’t know what he’s planning, but it doesn’t matter. I may have failed my family once, but I won’t do it again. I don’t want any of you meeting him, ever. Although I look different, Saki is no fool, if he meets me he’ll know who I am. If he sees you fight, he’ll recognize the moves I have taught you. I will find a way to protect you, even if we must move away.”
“What?!” Donnie shouted.
“But dad-” Raph tried to protest, but Splinter interrupted him.
“No, it is too dangerous. It is either that, or you’ll not be allowed to leave the sewers without me. We find out where he resides, and none of you will be allowed in that part of the city.”
“So you’re just going to let him chase you away again?” Leo asked. “Kick you out of your own home!”
“If it were just me, I would not run again. But I have a family to protect, I cannot take the risk.”
“But he killed your father, he killed your fiance! How could you just let him get away with that?”
“Leonardo! I will speak of this no more!” Splinter sighed, putting his head in his hands. “This body does not fight as well as it used to. Perhaps it is a side effect of the mutagen, or perhaps it is because I am a rat, but it seems I have aged faster. Not to mention, if he realizes I am here, he’ll assume I will have tried to rebuild my clan. Our clan. He’ll come after you. I will never let that happen.”
“Master Splinter…” April said.
“And miss O’neil, I understand I am not your father and I cannot tell you what to do. But if you can, please try to avoid him and his people as much as possible. I do not want you to get hurt.”
Something stirred behind April’s eyes. “I understand,” she told him.
“Thank you. And I apologize for dampening the mood. I shall clean the glass. Please, forget this conversation for now and enjoy your time together.” He stood up. Eyes were once more on the tv screen, Saki seemed to be answering a question and smiled warmly. He turned his gaze so his eyes were looking straight into the camera, the room dropping a few degrees in temperature. “It will be getting late soon.”

Part two for @emprexkay !!
When he woke up, he noticed that he was outside. He could feel the wind blowing through his hair, and feel the sun on his face. The sun always did make him feel better, but he had no idea why. He opened his eyes slowly, recognizing that he was thrown over Damian’s shoulder. They were running across rooftops, grappling when the distance was too wide. He could hear every step, every breath, and every beat of Damian’s heart. Curse his stupid superhearing.
“Wazzgoinon?” He asked groggily. His mind wasn’t coming back to him in once piece. He felt like he’d gone two rounds with Skulker.
“You don’t have to worry about anything, Jon.”
He groaned. “I’m not Jon.”
“Names have no hold over genetics. You are Jon Kent, just called something different.”
“Seriously, you need to get a life.” He broke Damian’s hold over him quite easily, choosing to hover midair in front of the teen. “Send me home.”
“No.”
“Damian, where are you?” A gruff voice asked over Damian’s comm.
Damian rattled off a location, but Danny didn’t move. He didn’t care who was coming to find Damian. Perhaps he could reason with the new person and get them to have Damian send him home.
“Look.” He ran his hand down his face, groaning softly. “I’m sure Jon was a good kid, but if I don’t get home soon, I will have a lot of people looking for me.”
“Damian.” The gruff voice appeared from behind the teen. The man was wearing all black, with large black horns coming from his head. A black cape swished with every step he took. “What have you done?”
“What needed to be done for the good of Earth.” Damian hadn’t taken his eyes off of Danny the entire time.
“I’m going to ignore… this.” He lazily gestured to Batman’s getup, refusing to call the man a furry. “Can you send me home?”
“No.” Batman replied, “But I can summon someone who can.”
“Thank you.” He gestured to Damian, “I don’t know what his problem is, like seriously, but I’m not some random dead kid and I’ve never met him before in my life. Don’t know anyone who even looks like you. I was taking an English test and minding my own business for once!”
“It’s difficult to explain.” Batman grunted.
“Superman should be here in two minutes.” Damian turned to Batman.
Batman grunted, turning away from Damian. “You’d better know what you’re doing.”
“I do.” Damian smirked.
“Nope. Nope.” He made an X with his arms. “I’m done entertaining this. I’m not some stupid pawn, or some symbol of hope or whatever it is you want me for. If you can’t send me home, like, now, I’ll find my own way home. I’m not bait.”
He flew into the air, ignoring Damian’s cry of “Jon, wait!” Obviously, Damian didn’t listen to a word he ever said since he’d been on this Earth.
Vigilantes were a thing, that was for sure. Maybe he could hide out in Australia, or Germany, or somewhere quiet while he built a portal to the Infinite Realms. It wouldn’t take him longer than a few weeks. From there, it would be easy to find his dimension.
He could hear something chasing him. What the fuck was that? He turned around, half-expecting a ghost. Instead, he turned around and was face-to-face with his father. A much skinnier, more muscled version of him, that was. The man had the same black hair, blue eyes, and face of his father, but instead of an orange jumpsuit, he was wearing a blue and red suit.
Why was his family always crazy in every universe?
“Dad?” He croaked out, half in surprise. “You look…”
“Jon.” Superman breathed, reaching towards him to hug him.
He put some more distance between him and Superman. “I’m not Jon. I kept trying to tell them that. My name is Danny.”
Superman opened and closed his mouth like he was searching for something to say. Tears filled Superman’s eyes as a sob tore through his throat. He found himself hugged by the man anyways as the man had moved before he even registered what was going on.
“Uhh, I’m assuming you’re Superman, but uh, are you going to listen to me or are you going to continue thinking I’m your dead son?”
“I’m sorry.” Superman croaked, “I know you’re not him, it just hurts to see you.”
That comment made him pause. This was his dad. A version of his dad that actually loved him over his love of ghosts. He finally leaned into the hug, patting Superman’s back.
“I know. I’m sorry he’s gone. I’m not him, and whatever you’re doing, I don’t think it’s what he’d want you to do.” He wasn’t fully sure the situation, but from what little he had heard…
Would Jack destroy Earth for him? Did his own father love him that much?
Danny is Jon Kent.
Danny was in English class when it happened. A portal opened under his desk and he fell into it, desk and all. When he was able to get his bearings of whatever he’d been dropped into, he was considering going ghost, but something deep inside of him told him to wait and watch. That his ghost half wasn’t needed yet. So he did.
He looked around. He noticed a teenager, around his age, that was dressed in a gray, black and red costume with a R on the chest, who was standing next to a blonde guy in a long trench coat.
“There you go, Batbrat. One Jon Kent for ya. Don’t kill this one, eh?” Constantine winked and teleported out of the room after clapping the ‘Batbrat’ on the shoulder.
The teen turned to him, walking over slowly. Danny was unnerved. He didn’t know who ‘Jon Kent’ was, or why he was summoned, but he didn’t want to have to defend himself with his English final and a pencil. He pulled the hidden Fentonbat from his pocket and extended it, aiming it at the teen.
“Don’t come any closer.” Danny hissed, “Who are you and why was I summoned here?”
The teen tilted his head. “You don’t recognize me?”
“Am I supposed to?” He kept the bat steady in his hands, but he doubted that it would do much against the teen. Something in him told him that the teen was more highly trained than he was and that he could decimate him without any effort.
The teen reached up and pulled the mask off of his face, looking slightly hopeful. “My name is Damian Wayne.” The teen looked him up and down, “The Jon Kent of my world is dead and you will take his place.”
“Alright, look, uh—Damian, was it? First off, I’m not Jon Kent, don’t even know who that is. Second off, I’m not taking some dead teens place. No way. That’s just creepy and it’s not happening.”
He was starting to get creepy vibes from Damian, and the only other person that creeped him out like this was Vlad, and Vlad was… well, Vlad.
“The world is in danger. Superman is going mad with his grief. He needs his son.” Damian looked into his eyes, “And I need my best friend back.”
“That’s a whole lot of nope from me.” He backed away, but found himself with the desk blocking his retreat. “Look, I’m honored but uh, my sister will get worried if I don’t come home and trust me, you don’t want that.”
“You don’t have a sister.” Damian took a few steps forward.
He stepped around the desk and kept it between him and Damian. “You’ve got the wrong guy! I don’t know who Jon Kent is! My name is Danny! Danny Fenton! And for once in my life, can you please send me back to school so I can take my English test?”
“I thought we would be friends in every universe.” Damian mumbled, “But I guess I was wrong.”
“Cool. Cool. Cool. Uh, quick idea, sending me home sounds fantastic.”
“The world needs you, Jon. I need you.” Damian frowned, “But if you won’t go willingly, I will force you.”
Loosing his temper, he spat: “I’m not Jon, you arrogant ass—“
He was cut off when he saw Damian pull a glowing green rock from his pocket. Instantly, Danny fell to his knees, dragging the desk down with him as he fell. He clutched his chest, making it feel like it was hard to breathe. He lost unconsciousness.

Tumblr media
maybe i sound insane when i go off on a nic cage superman rant but every time i watch this footage i yell and scream and cry. nic cage’s innate understanding that not only clark, but clark as superman isn’t supposed to be some alpha male macho perfomance… i think for a good live action superman, you have to have an actor that understands that superman requires a certain level of emotional vulnerability. also an actor who has the range. there’s a bit in the footage where he’s talking and joking about clark and lois at some awards ceremony and that lois ends up winning bc SHES the better writer. meaning that he understands their relationship dynamic, not just as professionals but interpersonal. nic cage we need to talk immediately

okay, delusional theory time. i finally had some strength to rewatch these heartbreaking scenes and look at them from maybe a different angle.
what if, the same way will’s monologue wasn’t about el, the things mike said right before will showed him the painting weren’t about el either.
the way he starts talking about losing.. el. it’s so similar to how in vol. 1 he was worried about losing will, and how hawkins didn’t feel the same without him there.
he begins with “after this is all over.” meaning.. when they will part ways again?  will + el back to cali? mike back to hawkins?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
he feels that [el] wouldn’t need him anymore.. what if it’s because he thinks [el] finds someone else?..
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
these are the words that el wrote in her letter. tbh we don’t know how true they are, since el has been lying pretty much about everything else in the letter. but they are still words that mike read and maybe thought about a lot.
more under cut:
and then this:
“i mean, she’s special. she was born special. maybe i was one of the first people to realize that.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
idk this thinking about el is just weird.. “born special”, does he mean she had powers since being born? and how was mike “one of the first people to realize that?” i think they all knew since they saw her she’s different.. special.
what if he is talking about someone else. someone that made him feel special too, since the day they met.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(superMAN huh, he could have compare her to a superwoman, or supergirl)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
now with this in mind.. i feel, mike could have interpreted will’s monologue was actually about will, but it still left him confused what to do.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
will said “like you’re scared of losing her” - which if mike could have read into the actual meaning, he connected it to how he is actually scared of losing will
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
if we can see that will is actually talking about himself, there’s a chance mike was thinking of will too. and i will believe that until s5 tells me otherwise ♥
then there’s the whole mike monologue in ep 9. and honestly, first of all. mike only starts once will said he has to
Tumblr media
which is almost a continuation of will mentioning how mike is the leader, and the other will follow what he has to say (at least, that’s what Will believes in)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
so he speaks
but again, what if he’s not talking exactly about el. but someone else he finds dear but can’t exactly say it directly to him
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
none of mike’s acting really make sense unless he does have feelings for will and can’t share them, is afraid of losing him.
he still gave weird looks to will in vol. 2, but also admires his painting and finds it incredible, loves listening to him, and he can actually open up to him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
mike and will are actually almost the only ones that had some longer two way meaningful conversations this s4. and were interrupted almost each time. 3 times in vol 1 (in jonathan’s room, then in will’s room, then on top of the car.), and in vol. 2 it was one long emotional monologue in ep 8, and then a short one in the hopper cabin in ep 9, where they were interrupted again.
now, i know i said i can’t defend mike like that again, but i feel it would be such a loss of a character if they really made him only straight and unable to properly communicate his feelings to his straight girlfriend. that’s just not good writing, it’s boring, lazy, overdone. especially since we have seen him being much more open towards himself around eddie at the beginning of s4, and multiple times around will.
so why take all that back just when he’s around el again, does he have to pretend because he can’t be himself? does he still have something to hide? it would still explain most of his behavior if he does have feelings for will.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
his only two way proper moment with el was interrupted by argyle and the pineapple pizza. he was about to say something to their earlier fight in 4x3. a fight he described to will as something they can’t come back from.
the way will told him to say those words to el, i feel mike did say in a roundabout way 1. what el wanted to hear, and 2. what he does feel, but in a way they should properly talk about. bc it still could be (should be) platonic.
i guess that’s all i wanted to put together. once again, im reaching but am i? this definitely feels the only way to make sense of the mess that’s been s4 vol. 2 for me. i dont know if i can trust the duffers to write a good s5 with this mess. but we will have to see i guess.

What’s Happens on an Alien Planet... - Tim Drake Imagine - Part Two
Tumblr media
Part One
You and Tim eventually made your escape into one of the closets in the Watchtower. Locking the door, you sank down to the ground and covered your face with your hands. “That was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced.”
Tim sat down beside you. Sighing, he wrapped an arm around your shoulders. “Did you get a chance to tell anyone that we didn’t mean to get married?”
“No. They all kept congratulating us.” You leaned into him. “My parents were so happy, but all they could talk about was having another ceremony here.”
“Alfred said the same thing. He is pretty miffed we eloped.” Tim ran a hand over his hair. “Everyone seemed hurt that we didn’t tell them or give them any warning.”
“It’s not like we had any warning.” You closed your eyes. “I’m going to kill Bart.”
Tim snorted. “Cassie’s looking for him. Apparently, he ran off.” You rested your head on his shoulder. He buried his face in your hair. “What should we do?”
“I’m tempted to just let it go. Let people think we’re married, do what makes them happy.” You sighed. “I’m so tired, Tim.”
Tim hummed. “I mean...being married wouldn’t be a bad thing.” He smiled when you looked at him slightly surprised. “Think of the tax benefits.”
You raised an eyebrow at him. “Are you serious?”
“Maybe?” He pursed his lips. “I don’t know. The thought of telling Bruce and Alfred that we were drugged and got married is enough to make me want to fight the Joker fifty times instead.”
“Same. I don’t want to try to explain to my parents. They were so happy. Apparently, they thought I was a lost cause.” You bumped your knee into his. “But what are we going to do now?”
Tim took a deep breath before getting to his feet. He brushed himself off and offered you a hand. “We’re going home. We’ll clean ourselves up and get a good night sleep. Tomorrow, I’ll take you out for dinner and we’ll discuss this in more detail.”
You took his hand. “Okay.” You smiled at him. “But before we go, I need to find Bart.”
Tim smirked. “I’ll come with you.” The two of you stared at each other. You leaned forward slowly and pressed your lips against his. Tim tensed before relaxing and wrapping his arms around your waist. He pulled away after a moment. “Yeah, kissing you every night wouldn’t be bad.”
You smiled. “No, it wouldn’t be bad.” You pulled away and slipped out of the closet. Batman and Superman were talking just outside. They both stared at you. Superman chuckled while Batman frowned. You quickly left and Tim was right on your heels. His face blushing under his mask.
***
Tim was fast asleep before someone flopped on his bed, jerking him awake. “What the hell?” he shouted, ready to fight until he recognized the cologne tickling his nose.  He sighed. “I knew I should have went to my apartment.”
“Timmy, I can’t believe you’re married.” Dick made himself comfortable on the other side of the bed, putting his arms behind his head. “I mean you and (Y/N) weren’t even dating.”
“Well...things happen.” Tim laid back down, turning on his side to face away from Dick. “I’ve always cared about (Y/N) regardless.”
Dick hummed. Tim really should have went to his apartment, but Alfred insisted on him staying the night at the manor. Dick was going to keep digging until the truth came out. “So funny story,” Dick said. Tim held back a groan. Dick knew. He knew the truth. “I overheard Bart telling Wally that he just performed the ultimate prank on you and (Y/N). Revenge for the shrimp incident, I believe he said.”
“Of course, the shrimp incident,” Tim mumbled to himself. Back when you were all kids, Tim and you convinced Bart he could speak to shrimp. It took Bart years to get over the humiliation. “I should have known he wouldn’t forget that.”
“So...I’m guessing you didn’t mean to get married to (Y/N) and Bart tricked you somehow.” Dick nudged Tim’s arm. “Jason owes me twenty bucks. He thought you eloped to annoy Bruce.”
Tim snorted. “That’s something Jason would do.”
Dick hummed, smiling at Tim cheekily. “You gave him the idea anyway.” Dick propped himself up on his arm to face Tim. Tim turned to meet Dick’s eye when Dick poked him. “What are you going to do?”
“Well, we’re only married on Betrassus. That marriage won’t hold up here.” Tim rolled onto his back, sighing. “(Y/N) and I are going to dinner tomorrow night. They don’t know how to tell everyone. Neither do I. Bruce would kill me for drinking an alien drink and letting myself be drugged.”
“So that’s what happened. (Y/N) was drugged too?” Tim nodded. “Wow,” Dick chuckled. “Well, I’m glad I’m not in your shoes, little brother.” He reached over to ruffle Tim’s hair. Tim ducked his head to try to get away, but Dick persisted. It occurred to Tim that it would be nice to be married to you if only it would stop Dick from coming into his bedroom.
***
You hurried to the restaurant, pulling your coat tighter around yourself to avoid getting wet from the pouring rain. The doorman opened the door for you and you jogged inside. You sighed in relief, glad you weren’t too wet. Another man came up and offered to take your coat. You let him and moved to the hostess.
“Hi, I’m here to meet Tim Drake.” You bit your lip when the hostess smiled knowingly. She gestured for you to follow through the fancy restaurant. You felt out of place and slightly undressed. Tim didn’t warn you it would be this upscale. Then again, he probably wanted to impress you. Tim always overdid it when he wanted to impress someone.
She took you to a private corner booth. Tim slid out and stood up when he saw you. You smiled at him and slid in first before he joined you. The hostess left you alone. “I know this is out of your element, but the food here is to die for and I know you love good food,” Tim said, opening the menu.
“You’re right.” You opened the menu and tried not to get sticker shock at the price. “So...I did tell my parents about what really happened.” You flinched when Tim looked at you nervously. “They understood and said Bart is now banned from the house. However, they did say it gives them hope for a wedding in the future.”
“Oh boy.” Tim set the menu down and ran his fingers through his hair. “Dick knows too. I haven’t been able to tell Alfred or Bruce yet.”
You hummed. “I can come with you to tell them if you want? It wasn’t that hard to explain to my parents.” You reached over to take his hand from his hair and hold it in your own. He blushed slightly, but relaxed.
“What about us?” Tim asked, glancing from your entwined hands to your face.
“Let’s just see where we go from here, babe.” You winked at him. “After we tell Bruce and Alfred, of course.”
Tim moaned. “You had to remind me of that, huh?” He rubbed his free hand over his face. The waiter came over and the two of you dropped the subject to enjoy dinner together.
***
It took Tim about a week to gather the courage to attempt to tell Bruce and Alfred. You supported him all the way, gently pushing him to schedule the talk with them. Tim found he appreciated you more and more as you two slowly grew closer throughout the week.
Finally, Tim asked to meet Alfred and Bruce in Bruce’s office at four. You arrived at the manor at two to help Tim work up the courage.
“I don’t think I can do this,” Tim said for the hundredth time as he paced the floor of his bedroom. You sat on his bed, watching him go back and forth until it hurt your neck.
“Tim, we can’t let them think we’re going to get married here.” You crossed your arms, gesturing for him to sit down next to you. Tim collapsed beside you. You kissed his cheek. “It’s not that scary. At most they will be disappointed, but we can live with that. You’ve disappointed them before.”
“It’s not that simple.” Tim moaned, laying down. His hip pressed against yours. You smiled and laid down with him. “Bruce will be upset. He’ll probably try to remove me from the League.”
“Key word is try.” You nuzzled his cheek. Tim blushed, reaching over to take your hand. “Besides, he might understand it wasn’t our fault. We were pranked.”
Tim hummed. “I don’t think he’ll understand.” Tim sat back up. “I just need to rip off the band-aid and get it over with.”
You nodded, sitting up with him. “True. The more we sit here, the more stressed you are getting.” You smiled when Tim squeezed your hand before getting up and pulling you with him.
“Let’s face the music,” Tim mumbled as you both left the room to head to Bruce’s office.
***
Bruce took a seat in the armchair as Alfred poured the tea. Tim stood stiff behind the couch. You moved to take a seat on the couch itself. “Thank you for the tea, Alfred,” you said, smiling at him brightly.
“You’re welcome, Mx. (Y/N).” Alfred took his own seat in the other armchair. “I’m glad we can have this time to discuss the upcoming wedding.”
You raised your eyebrows. Bruce’s eyes narrowed slightly at the sight. You glanced back at Tim who tensed. “Tim, just rip off the band-aid like you said,” you whispered to him. Alfred and Bruce sat up straighter in response. You smiled at them before taking your cup and sipping on your tea.
“We...” Tim stopped to clear his throat, gripping the back of the couch. He shifted his weight from foot to foot. “I made a mistake.”
Bruce raised an eyebrow. “What kind of mistake?”
Tim moved around to sit down next to you. His hands trembled. You rested your hand on his knee. He relaxed somewhat. “I...We...We were tricked.” He shyly looked at Bruce and Alfred before dropping his gaze to his feet. “Bart pranked us and we didn’t mean to get married.”
“He convinced Kon to give us a drink that made us inebriated. We ended up getting married and having a wedding night.” You blushed. Tim took your hand.
“So we didn’t mean to get married and we don’t want to get married here.” Tim finished, looking up at Bruce and Alfred. “I know I should have known better than to drink on an alien planet. Please don’t be upset with us.” He bit his lip, burning bright red.
Silence filled the room. You took a sip of your tea, avoiding eye contact. Tim’s gaze dropped back to his feet, but his hand squeezed yours tightly.
Alfred cleared his throat. “Well, this is a development.” He sat back in his chair, taking a deep breath. Bruce didn’t say a word. His stare made you feel like he was staring straight into your soul. “But you two seem closer than before yes?” Alfred asked, nodding to you and Tim.
“Well, I mean...” Tim mumbled, tilting his head.
“We’re dating now and we’re only married on Betrassus.” You nudged Tim’s head with your own. “Now that doesn’t mean that Tim and I won’t become something, but we’re not going to get married here anytime soon.”
Bruce folded his hands under his chin and leaned forward. “This is what I warned Clark and Diana about letting young people into the league. Particularly, Bart Allen.”
You and Tim shared a look. “I mean it’s true. We’re a mess,” you whispered to Tim. A shadow of a smile pulled at his lips.
“Or at least Kon and Bart are.” Tim snorted softly.
“However, neither of you are to drink anything on an alien planet again.” Bruce got to his feet and crossed his arms. “And I will have a word with Bart Allen.”
Tim froze as you had to slap a hand over your mouth to keep from laughing out loud. “A word with Bart Allen?” Tim gasped, jaw dropped.
Alfred raised an eyebrow at Bruce as Bruce marched off toward the Batcave entrance. You and Tim watched him go. Once the door was shut, you allowed your laughter to slip out. “Oh my, Bart is dead. I want to see that.” You jumped to your feet and dragged Tim up with you. Tim shut his mouth, blinking. “Come on, Tim. This is better revenge than Cassie breaking his jaw or us freezing his underwear with one of Mr. Freeze’s old guns.”
“Then we got to go. Excuse us, Alfred,” Tim said, smirking as he pulled you to follow Bruce. You quickly set the cup of tea down.
“Thank Alfred,” you said over your shoulder as you and Tim disappeared down into the cave.
Alfred chuckled, cleaning up the tea. “They’ll be married officially by the end of the year.” He picked up the tray and turned to leave the room. “I guarantee it.”

Superuncle
Word Count:1836
Pairing: Henry xOFC educator
Warning: Smut,Size kink
Summary :Henry's nephew is convinced he's superman and the teacher has warned him that telling 'tall tales' is incredibly unethical. However, when he brings his uncle to class you are forced to eat your words...and more??
Please don’t repost my fics without my permission!
"I'm so sorry I - I " Henry cuts you off.
"It's  really quite alright. I'm sure he usually is exaggerating in class." he chuckles more to himself than to you, but you find it endearing that he's quirky enough to laugh that hard at his own words, or was it nerves? You couldn't pretend as though you hadn't seen the movie with your friends and drooled over his body but, if an incredibly good-looking , movie star uncle was indeed related to a kid in your class this was the first time the PTA moms had neglected to fill you in on some juicy gossip.  You reached for the lock on your bike, you had to admit it wasn't the most impressive ride but, it got you where you needed to be without wasting the gas money.
"If you need a lift I drove Tom to school today so ...." He trailed off but, whether he had out of humility or not, You knew better than to deny a moviestar offering to spend time with you.
"O - uh sure. Can I throw my bike in the back?" Before you knew it, he was lifting the bike into the truck as though it was nothing. You admired the movement of the muscles in his back, through his shirt as he swung his arms back to his sides. He must have noticed you were staring but, clearly didn't mind as he opened the passenger side door for you.
You could feel your nerves propelling you through the car ride , knowing you were talking a mile-a-minute but also much to embarrassed to stop. You directed him, and eventually , he pulled up to your house. The truck roared into the driveway and you watched as he gingerly lowered your bike from the bed and wheeled it into your garage.
"So how long have you lived here?" he furrowed his brow as he asked, looking up at the house.
"O I started teaching there right after college, moved into this house maybe a year later?Four years." you say looking at him, stopping yourself from rambling as you push your key into the door knob.
"Would you ummm- like to come in for a drink or something ?" You watched as the corner of his mouth upturned. The silence broke as you clicked  the lock open.
"After you." he bellowed, you felt a jump in your stomach at his acceptance of your offer. The heft of the door swung behind you and he caught it, closing it gently. You set your bag down on the table and walk to the kitchen. Reaching  for the glasses you push up on the counter, you feel him steady your hips as you come down with the first glass. A million things flash through your mind but, the most prevalent is that he is touching you. A very hot movie star is touching you. You roll back up on your toes to grab the second glass, and his hands move lower this time. He moves towards your crotch, rubbing you through your pants and it's clear that he wasn't just assisting you , he was making a move. It was so subtle, possibly practiced but still incredibly hot.
"Is this okay?"his deep baritone begged the question as he whispered it into your hair, never stopping the movement of his hand. You barely managed to exhale “ummmhmmm” while nodding your head , your breath had completely caught in your throat. He must have felt you tense up because he followed up with "We can stop whenever you want." it was genuine, you could tell that. You angled your head to the side so that you could see him, you looked right into his beautiful blue eyes.
"I don't want you to stop. " you whispered back to him breathlessly, leaning in to catch his lips in yours. With that, he kissed you back, moving his hands to undo your pants and slide his hand into your underwear. He pushed a thick finger into you and he laughed at the noise his touch made you illicit. You moaned into his mouth as his fingers pushed their way inside of you.  You swayed your hips in an attempt to shimmy out of your pants. He noticed and bent down, helping to get the pants over your feet. You both chuckle as he struggles, pulling the pants off.
"God you're gorgeous." he said as he bends you over the counter roughly, you hear him fumbling with his belt but nothing really registers until you feel him sliding his thickness along the outside of your entrance. You allow yourself to moan out again and he grabs your hair up into one hand, pulling your head back, mouth kissing the sky.
"You're such a good girl for me" his voice was low and gravelly. "spread your legs more for me." he whispers, controlling your body with commands over and over again. Not waiting for you to do it as much as he was telling you that he was going to move you. As he lifted your leg, you could feel that he was able to line up and easily slide into you. You couldn't help yourself, you exhaled into all the all the sexual tension that had been between you.
"I love that sound." he smirked, you turned your head as far as you could to see his dark curls moving in rhythm as he pumped into you.
"Just like that baby, you're taking me so well." You could feel the butterflies in your stomach jumping at his praise. You groaned again as you shifted your position allowing him deeper inside you. Despite your intent of not seeming easy you moaned loudly, unable to control yourself.
"Please..........please." you begged him, to which he responded by cupping your hip and driving into you slower. He must have felt that it was to much for you to take.Because his pace slowed even more as he lowered his mouth to your ear again saying " I want you to go lay on the bed with your legs open for me okay princess?" He carefully pulled out of you, your legs were wobbly as you peeled your chest off of the granite countertop. "Go now." he said smacking your ass and urging you in the direction of the hallway. You moved as quickly as your legs could carry you, unabashedly letting out a light giggle on the way. As you laid down you could feel his eyes on you.  You spread your legs, trailing your hand down to your core , your fingers moved gingerly as he watched you, rubbing yourself closer and closer to your climax. He stood to the side of your bed, working himself over in his large hand. Taking in his body, the expanse of chest and abs coupled with the faint beginning of hair curling on his chest was driving you insane. His hand seemed so big, and you were mesmerized by his body.
"Do you want me to fuck you again?"
"Yes.Yes-" you cut off realizing you sounded more eager than you had intended to. He moves to the bed, hovering over you he lifts your chin and kisses you for the first time. It's exploratory but simple, his lips work slow and sweetly, almost as if he doesn't want to push you. Which feels weird considering he'd already been inside you. But, in your own bed doing missionary like a couple that actually knew each other was more intimate, you respected that he was treating it as such. He hummed into you as he deepened the kiss. When he rolled his cock into your hand you heard him let out a deep moan.
"Wait -wait. Do you have a condom?" he says stopping you. That is not at all what you had expected him say.
"Yeah." you nodded looking at him but, not moving, partly shocked that he had even asked. He looked in the direction of your nightstand and you nodded again. He opened the drawer, found the condom and tore it open effortlessly. You resumed rubbing yourself under him and he groaned as he rolled the condom on watching you.
"You're a very slutty teacher" he smirked, lining himself up again at your entrance.
"Maybe I just don't see the point in using a condom after the fact." you chuckled.
"Maybe I want you to think I'm a nice guy,a good girl like you wouldn't let me fuck again if I wasn't responsible." you chuckled at his response, and he immediately pushed into you. You gasped at the pressure and he put a hand on your lower abdomen. You could tell he was enjoying how your muscles were moving to make space for him.
" Wearing a condom makes you responsible?" you managed to get out. “Even highschool boys can do that.”you press.
"Makes you think I am" he shrugged, wrapping your arms around his neck and lifting you up to face him.  You could see right into his perfectly blue eyes were glued to yours as he watched your response to the new depth he found within your body. You craned your neck up to kiss him. Before long you had to break the kiss, the pressure in your abdomen  simply becoming to much in building up to your orgasm. You ended up sharing his air as he rocked you into your orgams, your body shaking. You were loud and you didn't care. Once it was clear that you had hit your peak he began driving into you quickly, grunting loudly. His speed lacked nothing as he managed to push you over the edge again, this time with him.
You breathe him in, not breaking eye contact.Memorizing the slight winces in his face as he emptied himself into you.
"Holy shit- holy shit." you exhale between deep breaths. He runs a hand through his hair and begins laughing, his canines shining in the afternoon light, perfectly slotted between your shades.
“Holy shit is right.”he exhales, chest heaving again. You watch the rise and fall of the small  curly hairs on his chest, wishing to touch him but, not knowing if that would be okay yet.You settled for rolling onto your back and covering your face in your hands.
“You alright? Did I do something wrong ?” He asks calmly awaiting your reply. When you remove you arm, you see him hovering above you, a palette of concern painting his face.
“I just-I usually don’t sleep with someone as soon as I….” you trail off into a mumble and he leans in , kissing you and silencing your worries. His hand encases your throat, as he moves it up to clutch your jaw.
”You don’t have to worry about that love.Your secret’s safe with me.”He pecked you on the lips again and wrapped you up in his arms. It was oddly easy being held by him, and you allowed yourself to be lost in him, effortlessly.

HINATA SHOYO He wakes up feeling warm. When Hinata opens his eyes, the first thing he sees is the sight of his adorable son laying peacefully on his chest. He brings his hands to ruffle his messy hair, the little boy pressing his cheeks closer to his father's body. It's been a long time since Hinata felt relaxed in the morning, and he honestly thinks that he could stay in this moment forever. But after a few minutes, he finally gets up and stirs the little boy in his arms awake.
"Dad? Where's mom?" Seiji asked, his bright, inquisitive eyes mirrored Hinata's own and he felt proud that his son took after him. He explains that you were off to your parents' house for the weekend and this makes the five-year-old pout. Despite looking a lot like him, Hinata knew that Seiji was a mama's boy and, though he wouldn't admit it, sometimes felt jealous that you were hogging all of his son's attention. So he was over the moon to have time alone with the boy.
"But don't worry! The two of us will have a great all-boys weekend," he declares. All of a sudden Hinata lifts Seiji over his head and places him on his shoulders. The little boy then got excited, starting to loosen up and laugh as they ran out to the living room. "Wow, look at that, Seiji, you are flying!"
With his dad's hands carefully holding him tight, Seiji felt safe and extended his arms in the air as they playfully circled the house. When they got tired, the two boys collapsed on the sofa. Hinata reached over his to mini-me, wiping some sweat that has formed on his forehead, "Are you hungry now? What do you want dad to make for breakfast?"
Seiji looks up at his dad expectantly, waving his fists excitedly with a big smile on his face, "Can we do that again?" And Hinata happily complies, already looking forward to a great father-son bonding.
MIYA ATSUMU "Papa, can we pwease go to Uncle Osamu's shop today?"
This was the third time Atsumu heard the request from his daughter. The four-year-old has taken a strong liking to his twin, and while Atsumu mostly finds this endearing, he wonders if she likes Osamu better than him. He takes the little girl from her sitting position on the floor and sets her on his lap, brushing some strands of hair that have fallen.
"Aya, do you like Uncle Osamu more than me?" As if on instinct, the little girl shakes her head. Worried that she might hurt herself, Atsumu cups her cheeks to stop her movement, but only to be shocked to see that tears are threatening to spill from her doe eyes. Shit, he thinks. "Okay, darling. Don't cry." He brings her to an embrace in an attempt to calm her down. "Let's get you ready, huh. We'll ask free food from Uncle."
When the door to Onigiri Miya opens, Aya immediately goes to Osamu's side, slipping past the counter and running to his open arms. Osamu lifts her up, "Hello there, little girl. Do you want to cook with me today?" She beams and nods her head enthusiastically, waving a hand to her dad who was standing by the door. "Hey, 'Tsumu. Just take a seat wherever, we won't be long here!"
This was the fourth time this week that they have been to his brother's shop. At this rate, he might as well have Aya sleepover with Osamu and let her spend time with her cousins. He opens his camera and takes a selfie, along with a message that he sends to you. Back at Uncle Osamu's again. She loves food just as much as you, it reads. He hears a bell coming from the kitchen, followed by a pitter-patter of footsteps. When he looks up from his phone, he sees Aya running towards him holding a plate with a small riceball on it.
"Papa, look! I made it for you," she excitedly tells him. Atsumu is touched by the gesture, taking the plate to place it on the table and tacking his daughter in a hug. He peppers her cute face with kisses and Aya is giggling, her laughter fills the Onigiri Miya shop. Osamu smiles and takes a photo of the father and daughter.
"I'm so happy, Aya, thank you." Before Atsumu eats it though, he makes sure to take a photo of her masterpiece. Our little chef made this, he proudly captions it before sending it to you.
BOKUTO KOUTAROU When you left Bokuto alone with your two kids, he was confident that he can handle them on his own. But boy, was he wrong. The whole house has been turned upside down with the seven-year-old Naoki jumping all over the place, and the two-year-old Suki crying on her baby chair. Not to mention their golden retriever barking to add to the chaos.
Sighing exasperatedly, Bokuto approaches Suki first, taking her from the chair and swaying to calm her down. He's having a staring contest with the dog, Tama, as his eldest son continues to wreak havoc. Then an idea pops up in his head.
"Naoki, what do you think of taking Tama out for a walk?" The playful boy stops in his tracks, turning slowly to look at his dad. Bokuto moves closer to him and grins. He knows how the young boy has always wanted to walk the dog, only you were opposing in fear that he might let go of the leash. But Bokuto has complete trust in him, and if things go south, he could always chase the dog. He crouches to his son's level, looking at him in the eyes, "We'll keep it a secret from Mom. What do you--"
Before he could even finish his statement, Naoki was already putting on the dog's collar and leash. Bokuto smiles and walks to the kids' room to change Suki's clothes. He pulls out a baby pink dress and carefully dresses his daughter. He also pretties her up, tying her hair in two ponytails with pink ribbons. When they finish getting ready, the trio proceed to walk in the park.
He notices that Naoki is much more behaved and more mature this time, thinking that he definitely looks the part as an older brother. Feeling much more at ease, Bokuto walks with a spring in his step, subtly bouncing the little girl who is strapped to his chest. Suki giggles at his father's actions, and he can't help but kiss her forehead.
"Hey, dad," Bokuto hears Naoki quietly call out to him. He sees the big smile on his son's face and feels like a proud dad. "Thanks for letting me walk Tama." Oh, you bet he was going to brag to you about today.
SAKUSA KIYOOMI Sakusa and his six-year-old daughter, Shiomi, were currently taking a vacation at your parents' house. As much as you wanted to come along with them, work held you up and you had to send off your daughter and husband, wishing them a good time in the countryside.
It's been three days and the little girl has been enjoying time with her grandparents. Sakusa could feel his heart warming whenever he watches her helping her grandmother doing household chores or when she is sitting in the garden and reading a book to her grandfather. He knows how you never want to miss a moment of your daughter's life so he sends you random snapshots and videos throughout the day.
He was lounging on the tatami in the living room, a book in his hands, when Shiomi came running to him. The little girl tugged on his hand, "Papa, come with me! We're planting a tree!" Completely smitten by her, he puts down the book and goes along with her to the back garden.
Shiomi helps him put on some gloves and hands him gardening boots. "Wear these so your feet don't get dirty!"
As soon as he wears them, the two of them proceed to get their tools and start working in the garden. Time always seem to pass quickly when one is having fun, and before Sakusa knows it, they have planted three sprouts of trees and sowed vegetable seeds in the family garden. He glances at Shiomi who is still full with energy, her eyes shining as she proudly looks at her work.
Sakusa hurriedly takes out his phone. "Honey, come here." He beckons her, and removes his glove before wiping a towel to her face. "Let's show Mama what we did today."
Shiomi goes to the other side of tree, pointing at it before displaying the widest grin. Sakusa sets the front camera and their faces are shown on the screen. With the biggest smiles on their faces, he takes a photo and sends it to you, the caption reading: We missed you. Planting is fun!

- (Y/D/N). Your Dauther’s Name
Lena Luthor x Single Mother!R // Word Count: 2,891 -------------------------------------------------------
There was a time when Lena Luthor used to wonder what made a family a family.
Was it having a mother and a father? She had a mother and a father, although not at the same time. She had a mother, then she had a father... and another mother, but she wasn't quite like the first mother she had. Was it having a brother or a sister? She had only known one brother but even when they shared the same father, he showed her the many ways it didn't matter.
Was it the blood relationship? She had friends that almost feel like family to her even when they didn't share the same blood, but those relationships withered the same way her relationships with her blood family did. Was it sharing a house with someone? She had lived in many houses and apartments. A small house near the ocean, a mansion in the countryside, a little apartment near the university, a penthouse in the city. She had shared each one with some others and yet she could not call them family, not really and not anymore.
So, what made a family a family? Lena had wondered for so long until one day she found you, or rather, found her.
"Have you seen my mommy?" A little voice startled her from her evening thoughts.
It had been one of those rare days when Lena needed to feel less like herself and indulge in some mundane chores. She would give her chauffeur the night off, take her car and drive around the city for a while before going into whatever store or supermarket she could find open. She would take some time to check aisles and products, enjoying the quiet and the fact that most people around didn't put much attention to her. She would ponder about buying a few items just to imagine herself as everybody else.
The little girl standing beside her, however, didn't seem to care about Lena's self-pity.
She looked around, in the detergent aisle of the supermarket she was in, to see if there was any sign of a mother looking for her lost child but the few people near the two of them didn't even bother to notice. She didn't look older than five or six and, fortunately, she also didn't look scared.
"No, sorry." Lena replied, kneeling in front of her. "Do you remember where you last saw her?"
"She was looking for ice cream." The girl said with a glimmer in her eyes. The idea of dessert making her excited.
"Ice cream?" Lena asked with raised eyebrows. "You were buying ice cream?"
"Yeah." She said, showing her big smile with a couple of baby teeth already missing.
She thought it was a cute gesture and even when she didn't know what to do, Lena couldn't leave her.
"Maybe I can help you find your mom but you need to help me too, alright?" The little girl nodded. "What's your name?"
"(Y/D/N). What's yours?"
"I'm Lena." She smiled.
Lena asked her a few more questions about you, your name, the way you looked like, what were you wearing and where was the last place she had seen you. Your daughter was a pretty smart girl, she answered every question as best as she could, with short but very precise words, giving Lena a pretty good idea of who she needed to look for.
She took your daughter's hand in hers and started walking around each aisle, heading particularly towards the freezer section, where Lena supposed she could find the ice cream. The girl kept looking around and would sometimes squeeze Lena's hand every time she found something interesting to look at. She was a pretty carefree child, considering her current situation. It reminded Lena a bit of herself so long ago, when there was no more world to worry about but her own.
However, she worried that, if they couldn't find you, she would have to take her to security and let them deal with a case of a missing child. Lena found that plan less than ideal.
"(Y/D/N)!" You both suddenly heard.
"Mommy?" The little girl turned around, searching for your voice with wide eyes. She held Lena's hand even tighter and in a moment they were both running along the cereal aisle.
Lena was about to tell her to slow down when they heard your voice once again behind their backs.
"(Y/D/N)!"
Lena and your daughter turned around and saw you slid on the floor as you tried to run towards them.
You felt an instant wave of relief once your eyes locked on your daughter. Your little girl came running towards you in a second and you didn't even care she was pulling someone along with her. (Y/D/N) only let go of Lena's hand once she was close enough to jump into your arms.
"Oh, thank goodness, you're alright." You said with a heavy sigh, wrapping your daughter into a hug. "You scared me, love. You know you don't have to leave my side when we're out."
"But I was looking for the ice cream." You heard her say, and you had a sudden urge to throw your child into a bin.
"Ice cre-? Ice cream? I-" Instead you took a deep breath, closed your eyes and hugged her even tighter. You let go of her a moment later, making sure she was alright. "Yes, sweetheart. We're getting you your ice cream."
"Can Lena come with us?" She asked and you finally looked up to catch a glimpse of the stranger your daughter had dragged along.
The woman was standing a few steps behind you, fidgeting with her hands as she observed the scene in front of her.
Lena had felt a wave of relief herself when she saw mother and daughter reunite, and she felt happy she had helped, but she had to admit she felt quite out of place. It was a family moment and she didn't want to interrupt.
"Well, first you have to introduce me to your new friend." You said then and Lena had to raise a brow in surprise.
(Y/D/N) did a little jump in excitement and grabbed your hand. You got up while your daughter pulled you towards Lena. "Lena, this is my mommy."
"It is nice to meet you, Lena. I'm (Y/N)." You looked at her with a smile appearing at the corner of your lips and she felt, without knowing why, so much lighter.
Lena couldn't say no to your daughter's invitation after that. She was curious to find out why little (Y/D/N) was so adamant about buying ice cream. Apparently, she was looking for a very special flavor, the Superscoop Sundae, which was said to be Supergirl's favorite kind of flavor.
You took your daughter's hand in yours this time and while you walked it seemed like you couldn't thank Lena enough for helping your daughter find its way back to you. You assured her this wasn't  a common occurrence. You always tried to keep a close eye on your daughter but she would sometimes get too excited to even wait for you.
"She's chaos compressed in the form of a five year old." You joked. "All this trouble for some dessert, can you believe?"
You started a friendly conversation as you walked to the freezer section and, for a moment, Lena felt like a child again making friends in the playground. You didn't have your guard up, and you certainly weren't suspicious about her. You only knew she had helped you find your daughter and in return you had wanted to share this moment with her as a gesture of gratitude. No hidden intentions behind it.
"I'd like you to have this." You said after deciding it was time for you and your daughter to head home.
(Y/D/N) was finally holding a pint of the Superscoop Sundae in her hands and she was standing near you, waiting for your conversation to be over. You pulled a tiny card out of your wallet and handed it to Lena.
"This is my card, if you ever need it."
You wanted to return the favor and if there was something you could do for Lena you were going to do it with no hesitation. It was the least you could do, you assured her. Then you parted ways, with (Y/D/N) waving Lena goodbye and leaving her with a smile in her face and warm sensation in her heart.
Little did you know that Lena was going to need that favor, more sooner than later.
After another attempt against her life, Lena Luthor was in need of a place to hide.
The DEO and Supergirl had suggested some safe houses for her to use for a few days but since the database of the DEO had been hacked, most of those facilities could have been already compromised. She needed a place no one knew about, a place no one would expect her to be. So, even against her better judgement, she pulled a tiny card out of her own purse.
"So, let me get this straight." You said pacing around the living room of your apartment. "You want me to hide you here for let's say, around a week, right? And, by doing so, I may or may not be in danger? Is that what you're saying?"
"I'm afraid so."
"Yeah, essentially."
Lena and Supergirl spoke at the same time. They were standing there with you in the middle of the room, looking apologetical and waiting for your answer. However, you looked back and forth between the two of them, not believing what was happening.
When Lena called you to ask for that favor, you didn't think too much of it. Instead, you remembered that day at the supermarket, where she helped you and your daughter reunite again. You wouldn't have known what to do if anything had happened to your her that evening and you felt like you owned it to Lena. But this was a whole new thing for you, starting for the fact that there was no way your daughter wouldn't get involved in this. Besides, it was Lena's life, Lena Luthor's life, the life of a multibillionaire genius, in your hands.
"(Y/N), please, don't worry. I know we may be asking too much." Lena said as she fidgeted with her hands.
You looked at her with worry and were about to answer, still not sure about what to say, when you heard a knock on the door. After a second of hesitation, you shook your head and went to answer. As you opened the door, a tiny figure appeared.
Your neighbor next door was dropping (Y/D/N) after the play date she had had with their own daughter. You thanked them and hurried (Y/D/N) inside, not wanting to draw anyone else's attention to your guests.
An excited gasp followed next as your daughter realized who was in her home.
"Mommy! It's Supergirl!" She jumped and ran towards the superhero.
"Hello, little one." Supergirl said as she kneeled in front of her.
"And Lena's here too!"
It surprised everyone in the room when your daughter, instead of reaching for Supergirl, ran past her, headed towards Lena and hugged her legs.
Supergirl looked startled by that, as she was usually the popular one around children, and Lena was a bit taken aback by the gesture. You smiled as you watched Lena pat (Y/D/N)'s head, asking her how she had been since the last time she had seen her and if she still had some ice cream left to share. It surprised you how easy it was for Lena to talk to your kid and it surprised you even more when you found yourself answering Lena's call for help.
"So...I guess I need to figure out what's for dinner tonight, if you're staying." You crossed your arms with a little frown in your face. You really had no idea what to cook for the night.
Three pairs of eyes turned suddenly to look at you and your daughter's eyes were as big as they had been on her last birthday when she got the exact bunny plushie she had asked for.
Dinner had never been as entertaining as it have been that first night. When (Y/D/N) found out Lena was a scientist she kept firing question after question. You were fairly impressed at the way Lena tried to answer all of them and you did your best to keep your daughter from asking anything too inappropriate. Lena was more than thrilled about it all.
"I have a question of my own, Miss Luthor." You said after you had put (Y/D/N) in bed.
"Do you?" Lena said raising a brow. "What is it?"
"Do millionaires know how to wash their own dinner plates?" You heard Lena laugh as you headed for the kitchen, and somehow it was one of the most wonderful things you had ever heard.
You found yourselves falling into a comfortable routine during the days she spent at your house. If at first you had been a bit hesitant about how to treat Lena, after finding out who she really was, you soon found out that millionaires did know how to wash plates and help with the daily chores in the house.
Your daughter was more than happy to have her new friend around the house. For her, Lena was someone else she could play with and the person who knew all the answers because she was a scientist. You felt a little jealous about that but, just like your daughter, you felt happy to have Lena with you. It certainly helped you forget your lives were in dire danger.
"Is she asleep?" Lena asked you one night.
"Yeah, sleeping like the dead." You took a seat on the kitchen table, where Lena had been revising some company documents. "Thank you for the tip."
"You're welcome." She rose from her own seat to pour you a cup of tea. "Reading Greek tragedies never fails to put people to sleep."
You chuckled. "Oh, I believe you. I was about to grab a blanket too. Thanks."
You grabbed the cup of tea from her hands, your fingers brushing against each other. You smiled at her and watched as she took her seat again. She asked you about your day at work, and you asked how things were going with her company. Conversation flowed easily as you moved to different topics.
It amazed Lena how easy she had fit within your lives, so naturally that she almost couldn't believe you had meet the week before. It was for her as if she had known you and (Y/D/N) since the beginning of time.
During those days you had learned so many things about each other. About (Y/D/N)'s collection of rocks and her hopes to get a bunny pet for her next birthday. Lena got used to the melodies of your favorite music and the way you arranged your books. You got to know the many ways Lena's facial expressions could tell you more about her state of mind than her assuring you she was alright.
When it was time for Lena to go back to her life, it felt like she was leaving her heart behind.
"Do you have to go?" Your daughter had asked as she watched Lena stand near the door with her suitcase.
"I'm sorry, honey, but I have to." Lena said with a pang of sadness as she took your daughter into her arms.
"But mommy said you were going to stay." She said with a pout, wrapping her little arms around Lena's neck.
"You know, if you need, you could stay a little longer." You approached them, reaching to stroke your daughter's back, and looking at Lena with hopeful eyes.
"Thank you, but I don't want to cause you anymore trouble. You have already done so much with letting me stay this long."
"No trouble at all." You assured her. "We protect our family. Right, (Y/D/N)?"
"Yeah! Just like Supergirl!" Your daughter cheered.
Lena was speechless for a moment, and you could tell she was having some trouble processing your words. However, it was true. A kind of familiarity had settled among you, and you had to admit it felt as if things were supposed to be this way. You were, without doubt, a little family.
"But I understand you have things to do in the outside world. Come on, sweetie." You took your daughter into your own arms, freeing Lena of her grasp. "Just remember, this Friday is pizza Friday, and someone has to bring the apple juice."
"I want grape juice." (Y/D/N) said.
"Or grape juice, yes, whichever you like." You winked at Lena, who couldn't hide her smile.
With those simple words, you had offered Lena not only your house but a place to stay every time she needed and wanted.
At that moment, Lena found the true meaning of family. It wasn't just a home but the people you got to chose to always come back to. And she had chosen, maybe from the beginning, to come back to you.

His Girl
Plot: Dick Grayson has a type in women: athletic, feminine, and classy. However, the reader is completely different as she is plus-size, tomboyish, and spontaneous. But a conversation about Y/N between Dick and the batboys takes an unexpected turn one night.
Warnings: Language, Sensitive topics, and Fluff.
“What the hell’s up your ass?” Jason asks Dick, as he hands him a bottle of beer from the refrigerator in the Batcave. It was only until last week that Bruce gave in and allowed a refrigerator to be down there after the boys begged him for one.
As long as it was only for beverages, of course. Bruce had mentioned the boys have been eating too much junk food lately, but the boys knew deep down that his rule is simply for him, because of his age, and maybe for Y/N, too.
Y/N has only been with the Batfamily for a year since her family died at the hands of Two-Face. She had only started training with Bruce for two months now, and the two of them have been working out quite a bit.
Which makes sense of Bruce’s one rule for the refrigerator, though. But that hasn’t stopped Jason from sneaking in food anyways; mostly pizza and lunch meat and cheeses for sandwiches.
But now, Dick’s distant and silence is unbearable since the circus descent acrobat is usually excited and rambling about anything and everything.
“Uh, nothing! I mean...” Dick stutters. His behavior tonight was questionable to say the least. Usually, he would be on his game and even throw some wisecracks but he’s been awfully quiet, nervous even.
“Uh-huh, sure. Whatever you say,” Jason scoffs.
Dick sits on top of the hood of the Batmobile while he peels the sticky label from the beer bottle. He notices Tim and Damian walking out from the showers and are already dressed in sweatpants and t-shirts. Bruce is seated at the Batcomputer, still in costume but minus the cowl. Jason sits at the small table and sips from his beer and snacks on a triple meat and cheese sandwich he must have made quickly.
And Alfred had long gone to bed after Bruce forced him to get some rest since they’ve returned home and are not dead.
Dick suddenly notices Y/N must still be in the showers, on the other side of the cave for privacy where the guys can’t bother the girls.
“Fine...I’ve been...having these thoughts and dreams about Y/N lately,” Dick confesses. He notices Jason staring at him with a confused expression.
“Yeah, and…?”
“Well…lately, I’ve been thinking about her as…more than a friend. I’ve been seeing her in a new light. And you know I’ve always thought she was cool, and funny, and incredibly smart,” Dick continues, with a small smile. “But…I’ve never been sexually attracted to women like her before.”
Jason purses his lips and appears to think it over. “So, I don’t see the problem.”
“I just told you I’ve never felt this way about Y/N or any woman like her before.”
“Because you’re shallow.”
“I’m not shallow,” Dick argues, suddenly feeling defensive at Jason’s attack. “I just…I’ve never seen heavy women as hot, you know?”
“You can try to justify all that, but the point is, you’re shallow.”
“Have you ever slept with a heavy girl before, Jason?!” Dick snaps.
Jason chuckles and grins. “Actually, I have.”
“Bullshit,” Dick scoffs.
“Yeah, I have Dickie-bird. It happened three years ago, when my Outlaws and I kicked Black Mask’s ass. We went to a bar to celebrate in downtown Gotham. Roy and Star left early to go fuck or something. I was left alone and I was about to call it a night until this smoking hot woman took a seat next to me. She had long dark hair, tan skin, and curves that made my mouth water and my cock hard enough to pound nails. She was gorgeous, but there were these assholes around her and were calling her fat and telling her to leave because no one here would take her home. And do you want to know what I did?” Jason asks.
“What?” Dick asks quietly.
“I took her home, after I broke all those guys’ jaws. She was fucking amazing, man. She had a magnificent ass that she actually allowed me to spank. Her curves were endless, and after I fucked her good three times, cuddling and falling asleep with her was probably the best part of the night. I’ve never felt so…comfortable and felt warm, because I actually felt someone beside me,” Jason admits.
Dick raises an eyebrow at him. “Wow, I didn’t think something like that could happen to you, Jason. If anything, I thought you were shallow.”
“I used to be, until I realized I was judging others, when I was actually trying to have others not judge me. Alfred actually helped me with that. I don’t remember every word he said exactly but he said I wasn’t trying all the ice cream flavors out there. Like, I was always sticking to a certain flavor of ice cream, and I wasn’t trying other kinds, meaning I should be looking at all types of women. And after my one night stand with that magnificent woman’s ass, I realized bigger girls aren’t deal breakers; they’re just more to love,” Jason admits, and shrugs with a smug smile.
“That’s…I don’t even know what to say. But Y/N’s different. She’s someone we know and it makes it harder. And my problem isn’t that I’m shallow, it’s how I’m supposed to handle my feelings about her.”
“Yeah, you are, Dick. Y/N’s literally the best woman we’ve ever met. Hell, the best woman I’VE ever met. She’s fucking funny, she’s so caring and kind, she’s smarter than Timbo when it comes to common sense,” Jason lists off his reasons.
“That’s true! I’m not going to lie about that!” Tim interrupts from the distance.
“Y/N’s real, she doesn’t bullshit about anything like other girls. She’s honest, and that’s a rare thing to find nowadays. And fuck…she can really handle her alcohol, she can down shots of Fireball like it’s water,” Jason adds.
“You don’t think I know all that? Of course, I do! That’s why I’m having such a hard time dealing with my feelings for her. I’ve only ever been with tall, athletic women, who wear skirts and dresses, eats healthy, and are…well, feminine,” Dick confesses. A guilty expression shows on his face. “And Y/N’s not any of that. She’s really short, kinda chubby, and she’s more of a tomboy type, who’s loud and rambunctious, and eats like a man.”
Jason snorts. “And that’s a problem why? That’s why Y/N’s fucking awesome, man! I actually really like how she’s not afraid to be herself. She’s not fake. Do you know how long it took for her to be comfortable with all of us and be who she is rather than how she thought we expected from her? And I don’t know about you but I love how she eats, whenever we go out to restaurants, I actually like how I can eat the way I want and not feel like a fat ass because I know her and I both love what we love and fuck all who have a problem with that!”
Bruce turns around in his chair and gives both boys a warning look. Even Tim and Damian silently take a seat and watch closely.
“Fuck…Y/N is the perfect woman. She’ll always be in my eyes,” Jason admits, looking down at his beer longingly before taking a sip.
“If you feel so strongly about her then why haven’t you tried to go out with her or sleep with her?” Dick asks angrily.
Jason’s pause takes everyone by surprise. “Because she can do better than me.”
“You-you actually tried to get with her?” Dick stammers.
“Oh, yeah I definitely did. I think about a year ago. I had spent the summer with her here while everyone was busy with the whole Justice League and Superman bullshit,” Jason explains. “You were with the Titans with Tim and Damian. It was just me and her.”
“Alfred was there as well,” Bruce mumbles.
“Anyways, call it cheesy as hell like those romcoms, but we actually got really close. She’s a spitfire for sure, but she really knows how to get under your skin,” Jason chuckles.
Tim and Damian nod their heads in agreement with that.
“And I obviously made the whole situation uncomfortable as fuck because when I told her how I felt, she rejected me. She said we were too alike, we’d butt heads all the time. And after that, I never brought it up again.”
Jason’s confession gives Dick a sense of confidence.
“Look, if you want to ask her out and do all that then I support you. Just know if you fucking hurt her or do anything wrong, I’ll slit your throat even if you’re family,” Jason threatens seriously.
“I wouldn’t even know how to bring it up with her,” Dick says.
“Well, don’t bring up how her weight and appearance bothers you,” Jason says seriously.
“It doesn’t!”
“Okay. How did you ask Barbara, Star, Zatanna, and-”
“I get it, Jason. I’ll just talk to her and tell her I have strong feelings for her,” Dick interrupts him. “I’ll just tell her the truth.”
“You already did.”
That voice belonged to none other than Y/N. All the guys in the Batcave jerked their heads to the top of the stairs where Y/N stood and looked down with tears running down her cheeks. She was wearing her plaid pajama pants and a loose black t-shirt she stole from one of them a long time ago, she doesn’t exactly know who though.
Dick and Jason slowly stand up. Dick carefully walks over to the stairs while Jason cautiously follows.
“Y/N…” Dick whispers, already feeling guilty and nervous that she had probably heard everything. “Please listen to me…”
“WHY?! So, you can tell me you didn’t mean any of that, when you actually did. I thought you were different! I didn’t know you could judge someone like that! Especially someone like me!” Y/N yells. “I thought you were my friend!”
“I am your friend! Y/N, please give me a chance to explain! I really like you, and-and I was just trying to ask for help so I can talk to you!” Dick pleads.
“Don’t lie to me! You were only asking for help because you didn’t know how to deal with me being fat and manly! I’m sorry I’m not like Barbara and Star! I’m sorry I’m not beautiful and thin! I’m sorry I’m not perfect for you!” Y/N cries out and runs up the stairs.
“Y/N! Wait! Please!” Dick shouts for her. He chases after her.
By the time Dick reaches Y/N’s bedroom door, it’s locked. He can hear her crying, automatically feeling like shit for being the reason why she’s hurt.
“Y/N, please…” Dick tries again.
“Leave me alone, Dick!”
Dick swallows hard and forces himself to move away from her door. There was no use for him to stand there; he’d already broke her trust and possibly ruined their friendship. He might have even ruined his chances with her.
Jason approaches Dick. “Is she crying?” he asks.
“Yes,” Dick chokes out. He runs a hand through his dark hair. “Fuck, Jason…I don’t know what to do. She won’t even talk to me.”
“You should go, Dick. I think you’ve done enough.”
Dick was a little taken aback by Jason’s command. He pushes himself to walk away anyways.
“Bruce wants to talk to you. You should go find him before he finds you,” Jason adds.
Dick exhales heavily and leaves. Jason shakes his head in disappointment at him. He takes a deep breath and knocks on Y/N’s bedroom door.
“Doll, it’s Jay. Please let me in,” Jason says softly. “I just want to talk to you.”
He didn’t think she would open the door for him. He didn’t think she would want to talk to him even though he hadn’t pissed her off or upset her in any way. But Y/N unlocked her door and even opened it for him.
Jason was deeply heartbroken to see Y/N; her eyes were red and swollen, her cheeks were wet, and she had the devastating look on her beautiful face. He quickly walked into her room and shut the door, quickly locking it.
He had to be cautious though. He knew couldn’t say or do the things he wants to do with her right now. Instead, he slowly and carefully approaches her. She allows him to wrap his strong arms around her, bringing her closely to his body to hold and protect her from everyone and everything.
“Shh…it’s okay, sweetheart. I got you. I’m not going anywhere,” Jason whispers into her hair. He tries desperately to not inhale the addicting scent of her shampoo and lingering perfume so much. “You’re okay. Everything’s going to be okay.”
Y/N lifts her face from Jason’s chest and gazes up at him. The sight of her glistening eyes makes him draw her closer to him.
“What did I do wrong, Jay? What did I do to deserve all that? Is everything about me really bad?” Y/N asks softly, on the verge of tears again.
“No. No, don’t say that. Don’t say any of that! Nothing is wrong with you. You’re beautiful, Y/N. You’re perfect just the way you are,” Jason admits.
Y/N shakes her head in disbelief. It breaks Jason’s heart more when she tries to pull away from his embrace, but he refuses to let her go. His grip tightens and he holds her as if she’d disappear and leave him all alone.
“That’s not true, Jay,”
“It is true. Hell Y/N, you’re the most badass woman I’ve ever met. You don’t take shit from any of us. You’ve managed to stay here even after all the bullshit everyone has put you through,” he explains. He even chuckles at a memory. “You’ve even made Bruce cry, remember? Remember you called him out on his bullshit when he refused to train you? You’re almost a savage like Alfred, you even make Wonder Woman and Catwoman look like dollar tree prizes, and that’s no lie.”
Y/N looks down at her feet. Jason knows she still doesn’t believe him.
“You’re always perfect in my eyes, Y/N. There isn’t a goddamn thing I would change about you,”
“If I’m so perfect, then why does Dick think so low of me?” Y/N asks. She sniffles adorably and looks back up at him.
“Because he’s a fucking idiot who can’t see the best thing that’s in front of him,” Jason answers, and looks into Y/N’s eyes before he looks at her lips. “But his loss is my gain.”
