My house is still falling apart and I really really need to clean the bathroom tomorrow but at least we managed to go for a roll along the beach boardwalk for a couple of miles this morning. Frankie hates the way he gets stared at in the wheelchair but he is so much faster in it and it’s way less painful for him. I feel bad pushing him to go outside in it but I really believe the sunlight helps. He was started on steroids today (huge dose but only for 5 days) and I really really hope they will work. They’re already helping his pain, which is definitely not what they’re for but a welcome side effect.

#this is such a fucking saga #can we please just have the surgery already #I don’t care about the walking but if my husband could be not in horrible pain constantly that would be great #and yes medical people I agree that giving huge doses of steroids to a person with osteonecrosis is uh #risky at best #but his doctors agreed that he can’t have the surgery with his blood counts so out of whack and this is the fastest way to correct them #this is such a mess
