Two things in the brain right now, one of which is getting a consolidary post, congratulations.
Argit shoulda joined the fucking team.
'But Achi it's Argit' I hear you say. 'Achi what the fuck' I hear you say. 'But Achi why' I hear you say. My loves, trust me.
To start with, we should have gotten him instead of Kevin in UAF.
I know! I know! I haven't gone two days without a Kevin thought for sixteen years, six months, and nine days exactly, I love him too, put down the pitchforks!
Alien Force would have had an actual blatant alien in the main cast rather than us occasionally being reminded that the trio were supposed to be some. We could have leaned into the fact aliens are living on Earth prior to OV, would have damn near been forced to.
You know how much people whine about Kevin's sudden redemption? No longer an issue! New character, new start, and we don't even actually lose Kevin for it! He's Argit's friend and partner in crime, instead of having 'oh Kevin isn't murderous and is actually quick friends with the people he tried to kill who are mostly good with him' we get a more organic 'getting to see how Kevin has grown and improved over the years through his relationship with Argit while the Tennysons have mixed feelings because of the history'!
Or the rushing of Gwevin! By making Kevin a side character rather than a main and altering his relationship to the team you add space that would let the pairing develop more organically! And you know if they were gonna set Gwen up with somebody it would end up Kevin, sure as shit it wouldn't be Argit.
It also makes for a completely different team dynamic, especially since there wouldn't be that baggage hovering over everything. Fuck, let Gwen have the vitriolic bestie she deserves! Let us see some of how the past still affects Ben with him wanting to be friends with Kevin again and Argit helping bridge the gap and complicated feelings their history has caused. Let Gwen get to show off her martial arts, combine it with her powers and magic, since Argit sure as shit isn't gonna be filling Kev's brawler role.
I am still fucking bitter that Gwen's martial arts got left to the side in favor of fucking 'women are ranged fighters' brand crap.
Sure we couldn't have Argit as he started out in canon, but lean more into how he is in the Rooters Arc, how he seems to have been as a kid, and it's totally doable!
Or, if you don't want to lose the old trio, just as firmly Argit should have joined the team in OV.
I know! I know! I will lock those pitchforks in a vault, don't start with me! Hear your bitch out!
I know that OV was going for a Buddy Cop vibe, but the show lost a bit of something with it. Love Rook, ya know I do, but the central team for every other series in the franchise is based around trios. Ben, Gwen, and Max. Ben, Gwen, and Kevin. Fuck, we get introduced to Manny and Helen- the only good guys introduced as a duo if I remember rightly- as a broken trio. Add on that the buddy cop thing is tied to the copaganda OV is rampant with, and going back to the tried and true trio makes sense. Bring balance back to the force.
And who better to put in the trio but Argit? It gives room to foreshadow the Rooters arc, especially with the existence of Argit 10 which would take on a whole new edge. Rook can be made as good a foil for him as for Ben- both alien immigrants in the same age range living on Earth, but with wildly different viewpoints, backgrounds, and morals. You don't even have to do some sudden change in Argit, just have him keep getting roped into shit, or maybe Kevin asked him to keep an eye on things to pay back a favor. It would probably be best if he wasn't always involved, since it would be a big shift from what came prior and would need to be worked in and up to, but that would just open the gate for more episode that deal with each chunk of the team.
We only get the one episode of UAF that has Ben and Gwen working on their own, this way you could do more of similar with various combinations of Ben, Argit, and Rook. Heck, could throw in more episodes focusing on Rook or Argit on their own with just background Ben. It would allow for more storyline variety, more character exploration, more dynamics exploration.
If there is anything canon was sorely, desperately, missing it was Rook getting help from Argit with settling into life on Earth, I'm sorry but it's true.
Heck, Rook's unmet expectations for Ben could be a stronger plotpoint if we're sitting him beside Argit 'you never try to change a partner' Levin. Play with shit like that, places where Argit is right, given him some spots of moral high ground. Play off the 'farmboy who went from home to Academy to Earth' against the 'mess who's first seen in the Null Void then travels the galaxy before coming to Earth'.
There is every reason for Kevin and Argit to be so much more worldly and knowledgeable than Ben, Gwen, and Rook and that should be taken advantage of more. But putting Argit in in OV we get an opening.
As I put it in an old post- "-the Sliding Scale of Alien Knowledge- from Argit’s 'I am an alien and I’ve been living among a wide variety species if not my whole life than for over half a decade’ to Ben’s 'I have canonically about three/four years experience becoming and fighting a wide variety of species’ to Rook’s 'I am an alien and have been living among a wide variety of alien species for maybe a year, probably a matter of months’."
And that's before we get into the sudden opening to learn more Argit backstory, which would more than likely give us more to work with for Kevin as well (we already get two episodes hitting on Kevin's backstory, with Argit there to work with we would get more and odds are Kevin would be in at least one).
Look, just, this post. Trust me.
And the fucking Rooters Arc, again we could have gotten more foreshadowing! Could have already been asking questions and then that shit gets dropped on us! It wouldn't have felt as out of nowhere! Sure the change wouldn't fix the problems with it, but it could have helped!
And we could have kept the fucking improvement in his character we saw leading up to that point- rather than seeing him go from a six to a four then suddenly swing to an eight on the evil scale there towards the end- since he would be a part of the main cast by then!
Character development! Character exploration! Worldbuilding! Dynamic interactions! More balanced character work and growth! There is so much to gain from this simple concept of dropping Argit in with the heroes and letting him stumble grumbling and just a little panicked into the role of a mild antihero.
And most important, most necessary thing ever- it would go a long way towards explaining how 'Uncle Argit' became a thing and how he ended up being the only relative we see Kenny hug.
#ben 10#argit#achi rambles#yes i'm tagging this let me be#i am objectively correct#you can make a valid argument for argit being his favorite#kenny saw him perked up and immediately ran to hug him#he's a teenager they don't just do that#and with what we see in canon you wouldn't think ben would let his kids get close enough with him for that shit#this would give an ingrained explanation

The Umbrella Academy Final Season: My Version.
Part One: We Also See Each Other At Birthday Parties
Overview: After getting back to a normal world with no powers, we see the Hargreeves trying to adjust to normal lives which somehow seems a lot harder to navigate. TW: uhh, emo discussions and stuff, mature language, sad people overall, some storyline changes because I'm writing it as the characters are playing it in my head, also long ass fic, I'm sorry. Pairings: Luther×Sloane, Diego×Lila, Allison×Raymond, Klaus×Dave, Five×OC, Ben×Jennifer A/N: Sooo, the fourth season made me want to forget it. Like I was literally thinking that I wanted Sir Reggie to use his memory-erase thing on me. This is for me and many others who wanted to see a happy ending, so uhh, here goes. I'm sorry if any of my imagination goes against fan canon, just think of them of my own hcs. also, im kind of using this to practice third person omniscient, so constructive criticism is appreciated. Btw, THIS HAS SPOILERS (potentially) because I'm also using some of the scenes from the season, stuff that I liked and all that. So, here goes ig.
Masterlist
What happens when you put seven superheroes into a normal world and strip them of their powers? It's an interesting question, a loaded question to be precise.
Well, that's what has happened now, with the Hargreeves siblings living their respective lives, trying to deal with the fact that they just had to live without their powers. They felt good about it, yes, but in some ways, it also posed a few difficulties.
Six years later, they were pretty well-adjusted. Or so it seemed.
Let's go to Number One, shall we? Luther Hargreeves, the self-proclaimed peacemaker of the family. At the moment, Luther was snoring in bed, drooling onto the sheets as he dreamed of a different life. A life with his wife, Sloane. A white picket fence, two dogs, and maybe even kids? But then, the scene changed. The kugelblitz appeared, taking his wife and world away, waking him up in a frenzy.
As soon as he did, he sat up, reaching out for her instinctively, only to find nothing but cold sheets. Tears started welling up in his eyes as a lump lodged itself in his throat, his hands going up to his face and his shoulders started shaking as he sobbed. This was pretty much like a morning routine, wake up, cry because of overwhelming grief, then get up and have some coffee.
The goofball of the family had turned into a depressed lover looking for his lost love.
As for Number Two, Diego Hargreeves and his wife, Lila Hargreeves, were quite literally living Luther's dream, with three kids and a wonderful house. But, suddenly going from crime-fighting and assassinations to dealing with kids, in-laws, a shitty boss, and the housewife life would be hard for anyone, don't you think?
Every day, Diego went out to work as a mailman, trying to get the mail to their owners with perfect precision. But, he failed, for his power was the reason for his perfect aim. And every single time, he felt insecure about himself. Now, he could get out of the truck and just deliver mail like a normal person, but then, this is Diego we're talking about.
Lila, on the other hand, has book club every other week. What the family didn't know, is that there is no book
They were a cute family, but they did need to talk to each other about some things.
Number Three, Allison Hargreeves was living with her husband and daughter, Raymond Chestnut and Claire Hargreeves Chestnut. While Raymond was happy living in a world where racism was a lot less than before and worked in a 9-5 job, Allison was struggling as an actor, trying to make time for family and land a good role. She also didn't really talk to the family except Klaus because she was afraid that they wouldn't want her, but she did regret her actions and felt lonely in that aspect of life.
Number Four was Klaus Hargreeves, the weirdest out of the group. It's those weird antics that also made him the most adorable in the group. Granted, he was a bit of a faint heart now that his immortality was gone, but the vibes were still there. But there was still the fact that he was three years sober, a fact that enabled him to wake up every morning with pride. Staying in Allison's basement, he had bubble-wrapped whatever surface he could, but being in charge of taking care of Claire finally made him feel useful in a way, so in short, he didn't really have any complaints.
And now, with his favourite brother Benerino coming out of jail, he could finally make him realise that he has a family as well!
Number Five, who was fine with being called Five, was working in the CIA, mainly investigating a cult that dealt with memories of another timeline. He used to dress up as a man named Jerome, putting on a fake mustache and a generic outfit to fit in. He clocked in early and left late, making people think that he was just another workaholic who didn't have anything to do at home.
But, there was a different reason. A reason that he wouldn't even tell his family. The PTSD of the previous many years, that he'd decided to ignore had finally started getting to him. He couldn't sleep without having nightmares of another apocalypse. The only way he could sleep without dreams was if he tired himself out to the point of passing out. Which is what he did.
Number Six, Ben Hargreeves was getting out of jail for being embroiled in a crypto scam. Granted, he had pretty much scammed too many people into losing too much money, but then why do people get involved in these markets if they don't keep in mind that it's risky? He could never understand people, really.
Now that he was out, he was free again, and he already had a plan to get away from the family once and for all. He didn't think he deserved to stay in a family full of love.
And finally there was Number Seven. Viktor Hargreeves, who was pretty much the strongest out of the group. But now, he just saw himself as an emo fuck-up who couldn't have a proper relationship, neither with his family nor with his partners. Building a life for himself in Nova Scotia had been hard, getting his bar business to take off had been harder, but what was hardest, was to actually commit to a person.
But then, could anybody blame him? He had lost too many people that he loved. There was Sissy, there was Harlan and there was the whole thing with Harold Jenkins. He was starting to think he needed to stay single for a while so that he could process his feelings and then put himself out there again.
But, even though they would do anything else, they did think that they needed to be there for Diego's first daughter, Grace's birthday party. So there they were, with smiles pasted on their faces in an arcade, where the children screamed while Diego and Lila yelled at each other.
"Diego! What are you doing?" She yelled into his ear, making him cringe.
"Getting the cake ready!" He yelled back.
"Piñata before cake! Go hang it!"
Diego went ahead and hung the fake horse with all the love he could muster and more. Though, Lila couldn't help but stare at him as he did, wondering how he knew that she had forgotten the piñata. She had called Diego up at the last moment in a panic, telling him about how she forgot to buy the West End one, and instead bought the East End one. Diego had just assured her and told her to breathe, telling her he'd handle it. He'd shown up with a vibrant horse, pretty much like the one she'd bought, but still different.
"What the hell are we going to do with two piñatas?" she'd asked, starting to panic again.
"We'll give the other one to Luther, babe. We both know he needs to get some of that anger out. Don't worry too much."
Diego stalked over to Luther carefully, handing him a bottle of beer and leaning back against the bar of some game, children shrieking with happiness.
"Hey, big guy," he said, internally wincing at Luther's answering grunt. "Where have you been these days? It's been what, a month since you'd called?"
"Just been busy," he said, taking a swig of the beer. They both knew how he'd been busy, but neither had the will nor the strength to discuss it. Diego missed him, but he sort of understood where he was coming from. He knew he'd go crazy if it had been Lila who had gotten lost after everything. He was pretty sure he would have been the reason for the world ending a fourth time.
Whereas Luther was mentally checking the wool-stringed map hanging in his house again and again in his mind, trying to figure out just where Sloane could be. He was hell-bent on finding her, to have the happy ending that they both deserved. He couldn't bear the thought of him living on while she died.
Elsewhere, Klaus had just entered the place with Claire and Raymond, with gloves on his hand and every other precaution he could think of.
"It's just a kid's party, Klaus. What's the worst that could happen here?"
"Oh, too many things. You of all people should know how dirty children can get, Raymond," he drawled in the typical Klaus fashion. Raymond only chuckled, shaking his head as Klaus cooed in excitement at the various candy stalls and selfie booths that were placed around the place. He had definitely been a weird addition to the family three years prior, but also an adorable one. His quirks made the house livelier for sure.
Allison, on the other hand, was sitting in her car, with her white-knuckled grip on the steering wheel. She was trying to convince herself to start the fucking car, to get home and practice her lines, but her eyes kept flitting to the rearview mirror, where the neon sign was glowing brightly. A sudden knock made her jump in her seat, and she turned to see Viktor, who she thought would be the last person to approach her.
She rolled the tinted window down to meet Viktor's cold but warm eyes.
"You aren't coming in?" He asked, voice frosty, but with a tinge of sadness in it.
"No, not really," Allison said, guiltiness lacing her voice. "I probably shouldn't ruin the party."
"Grace is your niece, too, you know," he said, looking at her firmly. "It's her birthday, and she deserves to see her aunt. Plus, the others care about her just as much you and I do, so they won't make a fuss."
Immediately, when she entered the place, she regretted it. Because while Diego and Lila were a bit warm towards her, Luther's gaze turned stony before he turned away. She wanted to run away and hide, but Raymond's comforting hand in hers gave her a little strength.
On the other side of the room, Ben was talking to Five, the one Umbrella sibling that he could tolerate to some extent.
"What was it, again? Ponzi scheme? White-collar fraud?" Five asked him with a smirk.
"Crypto exchange. Web 3.0, baby. Feds only went after because I'm an outsider. A fucking maverick like Elon.
"Well, that and you bankrupted a 100,000 people."
"The whole thing was like a witch hunt. I think I'm just gonna stay home now that I'm out."
"Yeah, well, say what you will," Five said with a small appreciative smile. "It's still good to have you back."
Klaus seemed to spawn beside them suddenly, putting an arm around Ben's shoulders. "Hello, Benjamin."
"Get your hand off of me, I don't know where it's been," he said with irritation lacing his voice, but Klaus was unconvinced. Even if he wasn't their Ben, he was Ben, and there was no one else that knew him better.
The party went on with the same vibes; somehow, it was the only Hargreeves party that's been normal. Usually, it ended up getting very chaotic and weird.
But then, all of them knew that they actually had fun in those parties.
Another A/N: I originally planned for this to have ten chapters, but nvm every chapter will get too long, so ig we'll just see how many parts this thing will have. Likes, reblogs and feedback is highly appreciated, please tell me if the transition from one character to other was too confusing or hard to process, I do that sometimes. Also, I do have a lot of changes, according to what I've seen on the tua tag, so I'll try to make stuff up too haha. Anyway, tell me if y'all like this or not, and tysm for reading

Not Exactly a Win (N.C.)
Homelander goes down for good
Non Canon storyline part 3 to Not Exactly Babysitting & Not Exactly a Lie
Its the boys so lots of crazy shit
You hadn't spoken to Billy since the last time you fucked him and hadn't talked to Ben since he admitted to you that Homelander was his son. You knew everything was coming to a head, you could feel it but didn't know how close it was until Annie called you to go with her to meet Hughie.
"What do you mean?" You asked Hughie who shrugged "He punched me. I woke up and called Annie for a ride" you sat back in the seat and let out a harsh breath. If Butcher had ditched Hughie the final showdown was on the horizon. The question was whether or not anyone would be standing by the time it was through.
Maeve was at the apartment by the time the three of you got back and after she told you all what she knew there was only one option, go after Butcher and Ben.
-----------
You saw Maeve move before anyone else did and when she threw the nerve gas meant for Ben out of the window you knew that meant she was of the same mind as you. Homelander had to die,no matter what. Butcher cut his eyes at you before motioning to Hughie, Annie, Frenchie, Kimiko and MM "Lets get em in the safe"
"I'm sorry" was the last thing you told them before closing the door behind them. You turned to face Maeve, Ben and Butcher "Lets do this"
Leave it to Homelander to resort to attempted emotional manipulation. He did it for a living with Vought but you never expected he would've brought Ryan into it. You and Billy locked eyes when he stepped out, this complicated things.
One minute Ben was choking Homelander, the next Ryan was hitting Ben with a blast and without thinking you lunged forward and caught the impact of Ben's shield before he could hit Ryan.
----------
You felt your body slam into a wall and vaguely heard Ben and Billy shout your name but Ryan's voice was closer. You opened your eyes to see him on his knees next to your head "please don't die. I didn't mean for you to get hurt, please Y/N"
You offered him a small smile "it's ok Ryan. I'm a supe too remember?" He moved to help you up and behind him you could see Billy and Ben fighting while Maeve fought Homelander. You had to get Ryan out the way and everyone focused on the task at hand. "Ryan I need to tell you something and it's gonna hurt but you know me, I wouldn't lie to you"
He nodded "What is it?" You took a deep breath "Remember seeing my tattoos and asking about them?" "The scars?" He asked and christ his voice sounded so small "Your dad gave them to me and he hurt your mom really bad too. He's not a good man" he blinked back tears "But he said.." he trailed off then you could see him steady himself "How did he hurt you and mom?"
You didn't know what to say to a twelve year old "He wanted us and we didn't want him" his eyes glowed red with his powers "Then he needs to die" he started to stand but you grabbed his arm "Not you. I need you to get out of here. MM and the rest of the boys will be here soon. They'll keep you safe and get you back to Grace. If i make it out of here I'll find you kid" "What about you?" You nodded towards the chaos happening around the two of you "I've got to handle this" he nodded and started to move towards the door but stopped to look back at you "Try not to die" then ran for the exit. "I'll do my best" you muttered pushing yourself to your feet.
Homelander laughed as he dodged your flame and shot a blast towards Maeve "Did you really think the two of you could stop me?" You shrugged "No but we can distract you"
You and Maeve dove out the way of the blast about the time Ben hit Homelander. You watched as he hit his knees, the compound V burning out of his veins. Once the blast was gone Ben's breathing was heavy and Billy was barely on his feet, the two of them looked at you then in unison Ben slammed his shield into Homelander's chest as Billy shot him square in the eye.
The official report? An explosion in Vought tower claimed the lives of Soldier Boy, his son Homelander, his grandson Ryan and fellow supe Maeve.
Grace let Ben walk away, put Ryan back into protective custody for a while and you, Billy and the boys would be left with the aftermath. It didn't matter, Homelander was dead and Ryan was alive and safe from him. You could handle the team being pissed. Your nightmare was gone.

NMTDaily: Tricking Ben
This does deviate from the watching as aired schedule, but since the Candle Wasters sent out an email for it at this point in NMTDaily, I will liveblog Tricking Ben.
The short film style makes this the only piece of canon NMTD/LLL content that isn't shot in vlog format. Instead we have the omniscient view on characters who don't know an audience can see them. I am still so sad that I will never see any more scenes shot like this for these characters, because that's the only way I'd have gotten to see all the serious Beadick conversations in Lolilo that I wanted to see.
The film still starts with a fakeout vlog beginning, which is interesting. This is the only time we ever see Pedro independently starting to make a video himself, apart from his appeal to John later on in NMTD, and of course it's to show off Balthazar's music.
HOW is Balthazar allowed to just start playing guitar in the library? How are the boys allowed to have a loud conversation in the library? This whole part is just an exercise in suspension of disbelief that a librarian didn't yell at them.
I like that the colors of the Tricking Ben title card match the colors on Ben's shirt! Fun little detail.
Ben is very awkward around Hero here. They're not yet the friends they will one day be. Aww.
"I bet he has your name saved in his phone with little hearts around it." Yeah, and I bet post-NMTD Ben will have Beatrice's name in his phone with little sparkle-heart emojis all around it!
Ahh, Claudio couldn't meet Ben where he said they'd meet, because then he'd have to walk him right into the conversation instead of letting him overhear it. I see.
Ben is so confused, poor baby.
The books are an Easter egg! The one on the bottom of the stack is called "Benediction", and the next one up is "The Dating Game", I think? The next one up is called How to Love, and the top one is clearly a romance novel by someone called Catherine Coulter, though I can't make out a title. Google says she writes romantic suspense and historical romance. Fitting.
Was that girl looking at books the same actress who played Claudio's new girlfriend in Lolilo? It looks like her. Can you imagine going to the same school as the NMTD crew, hearing all the gossip about what happened to Hero, and then still choosing to date Claudio the next year? Damn, girl.
It's definitely her, that's why they have her say hi to Claudio and Claudio run away from her awkwardly!
Claudio is hardcore panicking. He is not good at being sneaky. So that'll be the other reason he couldn't see Ben face-to-face before the overhearing happened- he wouldn't have been able to act normal enough to avoid making Ben suspicious.
"You know how everyone's unnecessarily obsessed with you?" OMFG the song is An Ode, this is not a drill!!!
Ben just drops his entire bag next to some random kid before going to hide? Take that with you, you don't know when you'll be able to go back for it!
His immediate panic face is excellent, lol.
Here is a gifset I made commemorating Ben's excellent faces in this video. It's basically my analysis of all his faces right in one post.
Leo saving the day! Claudio blurted out that thing about Bea making a vlog, so of course the first thing Ben does is get his phone to look for the video. And Leo thinks fast enough to clarify that she never posted it. That could've totally compromised the plan.
Claudio is SO bad at this.
The book that falls on Ben is called L-L-L-Loser, a Lolilo reference.
John is here! I love how he looks up, like, "Is this intel I'll need for my Plan? Oh, no, nevermind."
There are so many other people here, how did this conversation not get reported back to Beatrice? I bet it's because people who don't know her are wisely too scared of her to bring it up.
"Ben is so brave, and funny, and tall, what shall I DO??!!" Matthew J Smith is the MVP of this one, folks. Hilarious. Also, why would Claudio's first thought be "brave"? Ben hasn't done his brave thing yet, and it's standing up to Claudio!
Okay, thank you, the librarian DOES yell at them. Realism.
I just can't get over how terrified Claudio looks right now. He is so stressed. He looks like he thinks even moving a muscle will blow the secret right now.
I will never get over Ben hiding in the tree in this bit. He has to know they could see him by just turning around. Comically bad hiding place.
The way Ben is holding himself as he sneaks over to the tree, too. It's like, "if I just make myself small and quiet they won't notice me." You are too tall for that, honey, it's not helping.
He did remember to go back for his backpack, though!
It's cute that Balthy and Pedro's outfits match! Red and blue!
Balth is so bemused by Pedro asking about and complimenting the chord he's playing, aww.
Ben's like "SHIT no if he texts me they'll hear my phone!" The facial expressions in this video, truly gold.
His shirt brings out his eyes. Even when they're bugging out in panic, lol.
Awww I love how sad Ben looks at the idea that he'd ruthlessly tear Bea apart for liking him. In my gifset, I summed it up as, "No, I wouldn't enjoy hurting her, and I'm sad you all think I would." <3
"Poor little Ben just can't see what's right under his nose." Says Pedro, while sitting right next to the boy he doesn't know he has a crush on. And while, from Ben's point of view, not realizing Ben himself is right under his nose (or above his head) as well.
"She's so smart." "Yeah, except for loving Benedick." We love lines adapted directly from the play!
"Having a crush can be a nice thing, though." "I don't think it's that kind of crush, Balthy-boy." This makes me so incredibly sad, because it HAS to be foreshadowing to Lolilo and how Balthazar's crush on Pedro goes from something nice that feels good to something incredibly angsty and drawn-out and painful for both of them. :(
Ben's watch going off and the boys pretending not to notice, lol
Like Hero and the girls' conversation for Bea to overhear, the boys' conversation also involves pretending to consider telling one person about the other's crush, then deciding they shouldn't interfere.
I do love imagining the boys pitching this whole thing to Leo, though. And Leo being all in because he and Hero have been saying to each other for months that Bea definitely secretly likes Ben.
Ben sneaks off with the MOST ADORABLE little smile! He loves her! Awwww I wanna squish him!!!!
Hero and Claudio debrief and Claudio calls her a legend for stealing Bea's phone. It hurts my heart how cute they are right here. There are no undertones of Claudio's possessiveness and misogyny present, they're just two kids who like each other. If they'd gotten together after Claudio grew up more and unlearned some stuff, they might even have worked out. :(
Of COURSE Bea has Ben saved in her phone as "Dickface". As soon as they get together I bet she changes it to read just “💕Dickface💕” 😆
Shut UP the end credits music is the instrumental to Way To Tell You!!!! Beatrice’s song for Ben! Ending with an acknowledgement that her feelings for him really do turn out to be real!!!
The comments say there’s also an instrumental of Beatrice You’re Vivacious near the end of the short before the credits, which is precious too.
Oh my god, end credits shot of the books, and the historical romance novel is called THE DUKE!!! Amazing. Also the How to Love book is by Katie Cotugno! I’ve read one of her other books, it had bi rep and I liked it a lot.
Harriett as Director of Photography! I love that these projects gave her a place to learn she prefers to be behind the camera and practice that. I hope she’s doing well.
The credits end on a picture of Harriett and Jake hugging, NO ONE TOUCH ME
They had the sweetest friendship and I hope they still do. Angels.
I am now in mourning again because this is the last time I ever got to see Benedick Hobbes on my screen, and the last time I ever will, so far as I can guess. *cries forever* MY BABYYYY
You all already know I have no chill when it comes to him, don’t look at me. *burritos up in a blanket to sulk*
No but I love Tricking Ben so much and I am so glad they made it for us!!!
Wait, shit, since when did TCW have a patreon?! I’m sure it’s defunct now, but did anyone used to subscribe? Were there any good extras on there? DID I MISS ANY BEADICK CONTENT????!!!!
Comments roundup: Balth was the first to play off the Ode as a joke here; Ben’s “what? What?” was a Tenth Doctor reference; just so much love for these characters and series; Matthew J Smith responding jokingly to a Claudio-centric comment!

While my brain is on the topic: I genuinely cannot imagine a show like Quantum Leap being made and being what it was even ten years ago. And that is insane in the best way.
Hell, even five years ago feels possible, but like a stretch. Irl changes in actual rights are one thing:/ but I think it'd hard to overstate just how much the state of trans representation has changed, on every level, throughout the 2010s and early 2020s. Visibility isn't everything, but it truly does matter.
Like, this show has a nonbinary character, played by a nonbinary actor, in the main cast, and it's treated as the utterly normal thing it is. And Ian is not a side character brought in for brownie points with at most one character trait tops besides that. They're a genius and a clotheshorse and they're neurotic about Ziggy and too secretive sometimes and a workaholic and loyal and an alien true believer (apparently which. Honestly why NOT, this is a show where time travel and body swaps are canonically a reality. Aliens feel almost mundane in comparison) Ian is a person, not a PSA.
THAT, to me, is why, by the time the show does get around to its Big Damn Trans Episode it doesn't feel like "okay great time for Ian, or some one note trans character to get hate crimed to wring pity out of a clearly presumed cis audience because clearly nothing else will make you respect this poor unfortunate soul". It's not that feeling at ALL, even if Ian has an entire Moment talking about *spoilers* their past suicide attempt. Partly because they hired a trans writer who knew what she was doing, (that's the thing too!!! The fact that ANY trans writers are making it in should NOT be a big thing but unfortunately it is) and an actor with talent...but also the show itself had worked Ian organically into the cast, and the universe, without clearly resting the audiences entire presumed sympathy on that pain. It let us get to know them alongside the rest of the cast. Ian makes jokes about Ben exploring his gender while being in the body of a woman and nobody bats an eye.
Shows like Euphoria, whatever you want to say about it, just wouldn't have happened back when I was a kid. A trans lead character who's a romantic lead and played by an actress who's actually trans, not a cis man in drag who's praised for his Bravery for a Controversial role? And the show didn't immediately get axed after one season or less, and protested into oblivion?? And there are several others too!! Pose is so fucking good it honestly makes me sick, like we could and should have had shows like this ALL THE TIME. Even cartoons nowadays?? It feels like we're being spoiled even if it's really what should've been normal all the time, because I remember when it was a DESERT. And the tumbleweed would call passersby slurs. Like. I think if you did not grow up or see a lot of media from the 90s and even 2000s you DO NOT UNDERSTAND how bad it was. A nonbinary character much less one being treated seriously but as a human being in a show on NBC???? Most networks would've laughed that idea out of the office upon first pitch. Nevermind the question of if they would've been played by a cis man. Of course they fucking would've. More than likely anyway.
What we have now, even if there's a lot more that there could be, is something I genuinely cannot imagine ever getting greenlit this much even as far back as my childhood or young adulthood. Most trans characters if they even existed thru the 90s and even 2000s, were either playing outright into the Straight Cis Dude Got Trapped by the Eeeeevil Trans Villainess trope (who is not just a villainess for any actual wrong things she does, but specifically for Lying and Being Trans...which is given WAY more cinematic weight of disgust and outrage by the cast than her crimes lbr. Soap Dish, literally every other 90s comedy apparently for some fucking reason I'm looking at you fuckers) ...OR the Mentally Troubled villains of crime shows whose gender was mainly coding. They were well-meaning but poorly written side characters at best. And usually even those, were left unhappy and rejected, traumatized, or dead. Orange is the New Black at least let their trans woman survive and the depiction of her pain feels like it's coming from the right place. But that was still The one type of sympathetic portrayal you were likely to get. And I may not be trans, don't have my own skin in this game, but it's still so heartwarming to see. We've got to look for what good we can right now, and I'm so glad even this much has changed. It's for the best.
#quantum leap 2022#mason alexander park#ian wright#genuinely I think ppl do not realize how wild this is. Now that it's over I know ppl are sad#but also I think we need to appreciate the fact this was made at all#and was the way it was. Even two seasons? Before? Never would've happened#I was SO worried even when I was cautiously optimistic about the show and mason getting cast#like I knew she'd knock it out of the park most likely but. How would the writing be. And I was pleasantly surprised#this show is not Emmy award material#but goddamn it makes me smile for this. It's silly but it has a heart#i need to finish the show xD whoops

Hello whore! Happy birthday in advance.
What if ROF Frankie were Beatriz's bio son and Santi were the adopted kid? How would that affect their current personalities?
Also, (within the canon timeline), what if Ben weren't a slut? (Lol) Do you him and Frankie might have run away already? Or maybe Santo would murder Ben?
Rooms on Fire
RomanaVerse Birthday Bash
Okay lets get to thinking here.
Firstly.....
thats a great question. I swear I'm not trying to punish our baby here but I just don't think Frankie would fit what Beatriz would want from the savior either. Honestly I think Will would have been best suited for the role, he woul have been what Beatriz invisioned in a jesus figure; he's calm, rational, compassionate and even tempered generally but is not afraid to do what needs to be done to protect his family. As we see with him killing Melanie, he could have made it hurt... but he didn't. Yes, he hit Rey and that was shitty, but he didn't do it for funsies or rage, he did it to correct behavior. Reyansh is a.... point of contention amoung Ben, Will, and Santi, as is JOnah but Jonah is more careful. Jonah knows not to be caught alone in close proximity, not to be too goofy and silly. He know more boundaries since yes are on him after the whole delilah hollbaloo
Rey is not careful. He's a lover. Wether iris or his friends or even frankie and jonah, he's a touchy, smiley, biiiiiiiig hug kinda guy. Will is trying to manage this relationship, remind Rey he is a guardsman, not her little friend and certainly should be watching himself around Madonna. Will is naturally suspicious after Delilah.
I'm rambling omg this has nothing to do with the story
anyway Frankie in this story is passive, quiet. to quite. He's not wht beatriz wants from a god, and certainly not the savior! I havn't gone into it but she absolutly hurt that poor baby trying to make him tougher, and Santi used to stand up for him. Santi is a lot of things and certainly not a good person or partner but he is very much "mine" when he thinks he owns someone, he owns them. Madonna, frankie, Ben and Will are 'his' and in his teens did not let Beatriz hurt him.
I think Santi would be less..... like that. Santi's psyche broke with the idea of being a god and the savior constantly being ripped away and changed, mixed with his mom raising him to beleive these things, and her own mental illness passed down to him.
I personally think of Santi has BPD, maybe some other stuff. He talks about suffering meltdowns like madonna had and Frankie being the one to calm them. Madonna is autistic coded but i dont think santi has signs of autism, but rather has meltdowns from his BPD. If Beatriz wasn't a shit mom she wouldn't have done things like try to beat it out of him or lock him in closets when he was screaming as a kid. A good mom could have worked with him and he could have turned out fine. but that wasn't int he cards. I think without the uhhhhhhh "hey your a god hey no your not actually your the savior no ur not" all the time he wouldn't be this bad but ti think he'd still be rough. I think his possesiveness of frankie might be toned down. I think Santi knew what beatriz was doing sexually to frankie and since he was also fucking Frankie behind the scenes I think it was just a MESS
As for the other part....
I stand by that Ben loves Frankie. I know that most of yall dont believe me but i think he does XD in the fishben bonus chapter, symptom of being human he clearly cares... but i think he's bit of an hydrenalin junkie. Ben does crazy shit, he has no fear. he's an alcohalic and a drug user Madonna desribes him mostly in fun terms, he's childish and immature. Perpetual teenager.
I think even without the cheating... it couldnt work. I think ben could potentially run away with Frankie, because the high of the run would excite him... but theres 2 problems
1, the main reason he doesnt try to leave now isn't because he wants to fuck others. Ben could fuck anywhere lololol he certainly isnt sexually abusing Iris because he cares about hr in anyway, and all the women in delta he fucks are interchangeable
its because he thinks he's a god. he thinks they all are, he has a loyalty to santi he wont let go of. While Frankie and Santi were beaten and frankie sexually abused, the millers didn't suffer that fate. They were essentially adopted later, im thinking Will at age 10 and Ben at 7 or 6. they were on the verge of death when beatriz rescued them, leaving them both with extreme fealty for the garcia's. Ben fucking frankie behind his back is as far as he will go.
2. The high of running away would wear off, and Ben would want his life of luxery, all the dick and pussy he could ever want, and Iris's food. Hes a pretty boy, not to the most skilled in survival. he'd get bored.
I think if santi wasnt the way he was, maybe ben and frankie could live happily together in delta..... but santi is.... like that

🌙 she would just enjoy bringing her monster friends to her town and show how much humans love spooky stuff, without causing a fright of panic because everyone will just think they're wearing costumes.
🦇 she most likely be searching for any human witches to be new friends and maybe compete in a spell contest.

🐱 feeling guilty about the way she used to think about humans, Toralei would try to fix her mistakes and perform a werecat theme concert for the humans with her cousins.
🛏 Twyla would read some real stories about friendly monsters to kids to help them not yo be so scared, even if their parents won't believe it.
Favorite Human Cartoon Show.
🌙 Owl House.
It's so obvious Clawdeen is a TOH fan, it's a show about a girl like her wanting to see real supernatural stuff and be more than human. there's fantasy, magic, and adventure all things she loves. plus i can see her getting some pointers from Luz about rizzing up former bullies.
🦇 Sabrine the Animated Series
hmm let's see. a story about a young witch learning how to control her powers, needs to hide her spells from others in fear of bad things happening, going on crazy adventures while dealing with school drama, and having divorce parents. yeah, it speaks for it self.
⚡️Inspector Gadget (Classic)
we all know how much Frankie loves helping others and learning things about life, well what better show than an old classic about a fellow bionic do gooder who loves having fun and lending a hand (literally)
🐟 Adventure Time
what's not to love about adventure time?. There's a little bit of every genre in the show which fits Lagoona to a tea, from friendships and romance to violence and horror, heck she would write a novel about it. also in one episode she mentions Marceline she yeah she's seen it canonically.
💎 Sofia the First
of course she wouldn't let anyone know she loves a kids cartoon (except Frankie), she would watch it in secret because she wants to learn how to be a better princess and friend.
🐍 Ben 10 (Original to Omniverse)
Intrested of the story and lore, Deuce would stay up all day watching the dark and action packed extended series, which is ironic since alien force mostly takes place at night. also his snakes would love to have a green super watch, even though they don't have hands.
🐱 She-Ra and the Princesses of Power
I mean come on, she would totally be a fan of Catra, she's basically her but older. plus you can't deny she loves shipping her with Adora, jealous of not having the same relationship with Clawdeen (yet).
🛏 My Little Pony Friendship is Magic
Twyla being a pegasister is so fitting, playing with a Fluttershy and Twilight doll in the library, and maybe even shipping them but she still likes Fluttercord too.

after the comics end do you think the telltale walking dead franchise will continue in any way whether it be a tv show, a remake of the first game, or a port to new consoles
I want to say "No, they'll respectfully put it to rest after the comics end."
....but I know how this goes, we can never just let anything end when it should, not when there's money involved. Either something gets cancelled before it's time, or it overstays its welcome and gets milked into the ground.
I've gotten an ask about this and I've seen people talking about it, but with how popular that Last of Us show is [I wouldn't personally know as I'm still not planning on watching it] there's talk from fans of wanting a TV show adaption. Which, as I said before, I would be totally okay with them doing that for S1, and S1 only. It would make the most sense given the whole Lee and Clementine dynamic, Kenny's a fan favorite, and the storytelling is just fantastic. With a good cast, budget, and a whole lot of effort, I think it would be great. Whether or not that'll actually be a thing? I dunno.
And I know people would worry about "canon choices" being made in a TV, like if Lee decided to help Lilly save Larry in the show, everyone who picked to help Kenny would probably get pissy because fans hate feeling like their choices were invalidated, and fans who do feel their choices were validated over others usually can't help but be pricks about it, y'know?
But I've always said this-- The games are their own thing, your choices are yours, no one else gets to dictate what your canon is, and there is no set canon because that's not how that works, your canon is your own. It doesn't matter what the creators have said outside of the game, what matters is what's happening when you play.
As for comics, I do foresee more of those... because why would Skybound learn anything from the Clementine trilogy? It wouldn't be as bad if they could just pick another character to write these comics about, but Clementine is the face of the original games and she's likely to bring in a bigger audience.
I would like it if they branched out and did something with other characters. Again, Kenny's a fan favorite. Why not do a story about him between S1 and S2? How did he get away from the horde? How is he coping after having mercy killed Ben [or alternatively, after helping Christa escape] and how did he get out of Savannah? Could really get into his head and take a look at not only the horror of the walking dead, but the horror of losing a child, a spouse, everything and what it did to Kenny's mental and physical health.
Something like that could also appeal to an audience outside of TWDG fans, too. Like... that's something you have to consider, y'know? Because I could sit here and be like, "They should make a comic about the 400 Days cast! That would be cool!" but... who the hell is gonna really care about them? Even fans within the TWDG probably wouldn't give a shit because they're just not popular, therefore they would bring in less profit.
Let's see... a remake of the first game? Is that a thing people are talking about? I doubt that's something in the works, but you never know. Plenty of games have gotten remakes and done very well for themselves. The Resident Evil 4 remake just came out, and they have a history of doing remakes for their older games. One that really sticks out to me is the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. I was a big Spyro kid and the remake is really damn good. But yeah, I'm sure a remake of the first game could do well but personally, I doubt anything like that is being considered at this point.
And as for a new game? I dunno, whenever I browse youtube, sometimes I see very clickbaity titles like "TWDG SEASON 5 CONFIRMED???" or "TWDG S5 LEAKS AND NEWS???" or "CLEMENTINE WILL BE BACK????" and I just... never click on them because if there was actually a TWDG S5 being made, then why is no one else talking about it? No one in the main #twdg tag is talking about it, no one on reddit is, sooo...? Full of shit, me thinks.
Besides, I don't want a S5, especially with Clementine. She's done, let her rest, her story finished in The Final Season. If you have to do something, then put your big boy pants on and make an effort to tell a new story that doesn't rely on fans' nostalgia for Clementine.
Part of me is curious for what happens next, whether that's more comics or some other piece of media... the other part is just slouched in her chair making a >:[ face and grumbling incoherently.
#asks#twdg clementine#twdg lee#twdg kenny#please let the comics be clementine's final appearance#just let her rest#but i doubt anything was learned from how poorly fans received the comics#but it still made a profit since people do exist outside of the fandom and it's well received among them#basically i don't think the comics will be the last we get of twdg because there's always going to be an audience#who either wants to cling to nostalgia and complain when it doesn't live up to it#or who have no prior experience with the games and want something new so they pick it up#and then there are fans like me who are just here for better or worse

Station 19 Spin-off, but it's their kids
Your girl just finished Station 19 up until the most recent episode and y'know she had to make their future kids as well!
Jack's got twins because I said so.
I can just see him being a twin dad, yk?
Their mother is the worst, so Jack has sole custody of his little prince, Dean, and little princess, Lila.
Yes, he would indefinitely name his son after Dean - we all know how much Jack loves his Station 19 family!!
And he clearly loved his foster sister so much.
Lila looks up to Maya and strives to be a captain, so she made it there bc she's a Gibson.
Dean settling with just being a regular firefighter and watching his big sis rise.
Carina would for sure name her kid after her brother. She had a whole episode where she mourned her baby brother!
I feel like he'd be a doctor just so his mama (Carina) doesn't lose another Andrew that she loves, but he really just wants to follow in his mom's (Maya's) footsteps.
And so he does.
Travis finally meets the new love of his life (after Michael's death) and they have a son through surrogacy - which Travis and his partner agree to call Michael, both after Travis' late husband and the partner's father- I guess?
I would love it if Pru became a battalion chief, especially after seeing Dean wanna rise through the ranks but couldn't because...well, death, and so Pru does.
And hell if she lets anyone downtalk her because she's a female battalion chief-
You know she's not going to let it slide - we all know her aunts would have taught her that.
Okay but I would love to see a 'he fell first, but she fell harder' relationship in S19 and I've already designated that to Andrew Deluca-Bishop and Lila Gibson.
"But wouldn't Andrew have been created with Jack's sperm and Carina's egg?" "Wouldn't they be half siblings through Jack?"
No.
Canonically in this AU, Carina's body just didn't take to Jack's little guys, and the Deluca-Bishops found Mason (Maya's brother). They decided to try again with Mason's sperm so at least the child would have similar DNA to Maya and PRESTO-
Idk if that's how you spell it-
Maya figured at least the baby would have more of a chance to look like her since Mason is her brother, but Andrew was born looking like Carina, so- didn't really matter anyway.
Maya still adores her son, even though he looks nothing like her and every bit like a male version of Carina. He's her little boy, she knew she'd always love him from the moment she held him.
Vic and Theo having a little badass who is just like her mother-
Exactly like her mother in every way; looks, personality, attitude, every bit.
19 raising their kids together; like a village.
THE KIDS CALLING BEN "Grandpa" BECAUSE THEIR PARENTS CALL HIM "Dad"
Little toddler Dean crying when Ben tells him that he (Ben) isn't actually Jack's dad-
"You made a toddler cry, man." "I didn't mean to!"
Lila being a protective big twin sister, even at 3-years-old, glaring at Ben as her brother cries into their dad.
Jack having no clue what to do with his own children, so when a baby play pen (or whatever its called, I was 2 when my little brother was born and I see my younger cousins like once a year, if that-) it put in the lounge of the station, he just sticks them in that until they're hungry or need the potty.
It's 2am on Boxing Day and I should be sleeping but I can't.
Don't finish off the eggnog in your fridge and an entire Monster can right before bed.
It messes with your already messed up sleep schedule.
Or do. I'm not the boss of you.
Andrew being scared of Jack when he's thinking about asking Lila on a date, when he should be scared of her Uncle Travis.
As close as he is to his mom's friends, he doesn't actually refer to them as Auntie or Uncle. So...
Considers them family, because they're his parents' family, but wouldn't go out of his way to refer to them with familial titles.
Anyway-
Travis, while having his own kid, being incredibly protective of Jack's little Lila and Vic's little Marion.
He never had a daughter, and can't imagine having one, if he was honest. So Marion and Lila are the closest he has to daughters.
So, protective Uncle Travis? I say YES.
These kids for sure grew up with happy Christmases.
Firehouse Christmases, for sure.
They'd probably make Jack dress up as Santa, in all honesty.
Little Dean crying for his dad, and Jack tries to comfort him but he's like "I WANT MY DADDY! NOT SANTA!"
Jack takes off the hat and wig, and Dean immediately hugs him, and Jack just has to crouch there and not say anything because he wants his son to maintain that childhood innocence that he couldn't.
Jack letting his kids be kids for as long as possible, even well into their teen years, because he wanted that family so he's going to make sure his kids get that.
I feel like Andy would have a son, and she'd name him after Ryan because we all know how much she loved her childhood friend.
Him and Andrew being really close bc their moms are.
I think I'll leave it there because I'm gonna write a little christmas tale of when the kids were little.
Regarding middle names; Vic and Theo made Marion's middle name Andrea, after Andy helped Vic birth Marion (with Carina's help ofc, you can guarantee that Carina was there for a majority of the births), Jack made his son's middle name after his foster dad, and Vic helped Jack a lot with his daughter, so Lila's middle name is Victoria (she even gave Lila the period talk for Jack), and Ryan's middle name is after his grandpa.
Okay, I'm done for now-
S19 Children, Parent/s and Ages
Marion "Mari" Andrea Hughes - Victoria "Vic" and Theodora "Theo" Hughes, 20yo
Dean Marco Gibson - Jack Gibson, 21yo
Lila Victoria Gibson - Jack Gibson, 21yo
Ryan Pruitt Herrera - Andrea "Andy" Herrera, 23yo
Michael "Mike/Mickey" Montgomery - Travis Montgomery, 26yo
Andrew Deluca-Bishop - Carina and Maya Deluca-Bishop, 27yo
Pruitt "Pru" Miller - Dean Miller and JJ Lau, 32yo

OK im thinking about this stupid fucking clown film again. like, this could have been one of my favourite films ever. it was so close. and they stuck to hetero normal bullshit and 'the book' and ruined it.
I know. I KNOW Eddie and Stan die in the book. I know this. but there is also a turtle, and other characters and a whole dammed child gang bang that is ALSO IN THE BOOK that they wisely decided to leave out. they could have looked and decided nah, let's change it up.
this is very much my head canons running free at this point but consider how pennywise could be a representation of childhood trauma. bev with her dad, eddie with his mother, bill with his brothers death, etc. the clown becomes a representative of survivors guilt, of repressed internalised homophobia, of loneliness.
and them all winning. them all beating that trauma that fucked them up so badly. because childhood trauma isnt something you get over once you stop being a kid. it seeps into everything in your life. it follows you everywhere, with everything you do. it's there, lurking. and it could take 27 years, but it's going to come up again. and to beat it, to look it in the eye and say not today fucker.... Just. could have been so so good.
like, stans character, he could be read as having depression. and we are waaaaay past the point of the noble suicide. just...... No. I want to see him go apeshit, I want to see him beat the fuck out of that stupid clown. I want to see him beat the depression, beat the thoughts, best the impulses and WIN. it would have been so much better for him to WIN. but no, he takes a bath and we're back at that noble suicide bullshit.
and eddie, oh my word. Im probably far too much an eddie kinny (god help me I have so many issues) but as someone with a controlling mother who only realised the extent of the control and abuse as an adult, i wanted to see him FINALLY realise all the bullshit hed been through and beat the fucking clown. beat the heteronormativity and fear of your identity. beat the controls and manipulation. beat your childhood trauma head on. but no, have to bury your queers. so he gets impaled and dies. overcome your abuse, what? get wrecked dipshit.
not even touching on the whole Ben and bev thing. the way it was clear she only liked him now he has abs. wouldn't it have been more profound for her to ALWAYS like him? For him TO ALWAYS BE WORTHY OF LOVE! not just when he had a 6 pack? really shit on her character.
best I can say about mike is that he is also in the movie, because fuck all was done with him.
and richie. he's famous. Like, proper famous!! in this day and age, they could have done something with the internalised homophobia. how did it affect him? what about gossip blogs? you mean the kid what had all that stuff written on bathroom walls about him at 13, never had any rumours about his sexuality? could have done something about that. I liked that they made that his fear, but then did nothing with it as an adult.
anyway, this is my headcanon. there was just so much wasted potential with this film. and they can't blame the book, because they took too much out, but still included some real shit.
it chapter 2 is still the most baffling moviegoing experience ive ever had and im still thinking abt it a year and a half later
never before have i watched a whole movie and been like “wow this would totally be my favourite movie if everything about it was different” like wHAT? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???
#it movie#it book#it 2017#it 2019#ben hanscom#eddie kaspbrak#richie tozier#This had so much potential and they wasted it#stanley uris#Like seriously who the hell was in charge of this

Allie is back on her Albedo hyperfixation bull shit again, let's get this over analyzing of an episode I've been WAITING to talk about out of the way.
Night of the Living Nightmare (Ultimate Alien episode for those who haven't seen it.) doesn't make sense when you really think about it.
Okay so the entire premise of that episode is for the viewer to think that it's Ben being trapped in a nightmare right? And then at the end of the episode we realize that the entire "nightmare" was Albedo's because he got the Cassiopeian Dream Eater stuck on himself from tripping on a smoothie in Ben's room.
Now if you rewatch the episode with keeping in mind that it's Albedo's nightmare the entire time and not Ben's, shit don't make sense.
Fighting the DNAlien, aight okay that makes sense. Ben mentioned the DNAliens during their first meeting, and I'm sure Albedo heard about that while being Azmuth's assistant.
Everyone going missing, that also makes sense.
Vilgax fighting 'Ben', that also makes sense.
Now here's where things get... questionable. (Note to not lose my mind I am referring to the Ben in the nightmare as Albedo even though he looks like Ben. Altho I'm losing my mind as I write this anyway cause the Ben look a like didn't even have to be Albedo, but we're going with that theory for the moment. Even still my point kind of stands.)
Okay so I can ignore the fact that Albedo would have to know where Kevin's garage is for him to head over there to find Kevin. Ben's famous now so maybe there was something online about Kevin's garage.
But how did Albedo know about Aggregor? Okay same thing could be said there too, maybe he was on one of the news stations cause of Ben being famous. And Aggregor was pre-mutation so 'Seeing Ben fight him on the news' isn't too much of a stretch. There's non canon comics where Aggregor is attacking Ben. (Which one is where Ben is seeing an ice skating show about him. That could explain why he's so pissed about Albedo's show, but that comic's non canon. If I do a "Double or Nothing" analysis I'll go into more detail about that comic. Off topic but I do love that Gwen's in a sweater version of her AF Season 3 outfit in that comic it reminds me of my HS lmao.)
Same thing could be said for Julie too, maybe even Ship. (Although it's kind of a stretch that Albedo would know about the Battle Mode outfit to a T for Julie since it's only been in what one episode before this?? And that was before Ben was famous. It was Don't Fear The Repo (Alien Force Season 3) that it was in last that I remember correctly.
And then we get to Hex. Again the stretch could be Albedo saw him on the news fighting Ben or Ben talked about him as a kid when Albedo worked for Azmuth. But Hex was more of a Gwen villain than a Ben one though. There were other villains in the rogue gallery that could be used, but that's probably a whole different rant. (Naming Zombozo since Ben is scared of clowns.)
Here's where I started questioning things I bit: Gwen and Kevin. Okay so Gwen goes into her Anodite form, and Kevin goes into his "Ultimate Kevin" mutated form.
I can possibly make the case that Albedo knew Gwen was an Anodite from when she was a kid, granted she didn't know till she was a teenager. She rarely uses that form, so Albedo wouldn't have saw it on the news or anything. It's always been isolated incidents. But that can be chalked up to if he knew Max had kids with Verdona and he put the pieces together. (Not that he'd care but I'm trying to give him a reason to know that since outside of the Tennysons, Kevin, and anyone she's been in the form around no one else would know.)
Kevin is the same thing. Would his mutated form have been on the news? Him turning into mutant was an isolated incident and Ben was the one going after him not the other way around. (If I remember my Ultimate Kevin arc episodes correctly, it was always Ben going after Kevin or going where he'd be. Kevin did go after people, but I don't think Albedo would care to put the pieces together that it was Kevin.) Should've been Season 3 AF Kevin's mutation as a call back and another hint that it wasn't Ben's nightmare. (Since Albedo saw that mutation.)
Even if we don't assume that Albedo was Ben in the nightmare, the nightmare was ultimately his regardless if he was Ben or not. Shit don't make sense when you really think about it.
"But Allie he knows cause of plot." And that's the issue. Albedo wouldn't know half the shit that's in the nightmare, especially cause before this he was going around the country doing Ben 10 Live to get money. (Double or Nothing was like 11 episodes prior to this and that episode was WAY into Ultimate Alien so he did it for awhile till he was discovered by the trio.) Maybe Albedo had a lot of time to watch Ben on TV, which yeah probably since he knew the teen was famous now. But idk shit don't make sense.
I've said this before but yeah a bunch of it could be chalked up to "It was on TV/the extranet" but over analysing be a bitch. Especially with the stuff that no one outside the people involved with those events would know??? (Although Alien X was on a smoothie cup although Ben only transformed like what once at that point in an isolated incident??? The second time was after that I think.)
#ben 10#albedo ben 10#ben 10 uaf#ben 10 albedo#ben 10 ultimate alien#Allie over analyses a kid's cartoon cause shit don't make sense#Night of the Living Nightmare#plot demands he knew all this I guess#don't get me started on Omniverse Albedo episodes cause I also have comments#I probably have other comments on other UAF Albedo episodes but this one bugged me like.... a lot

So I'm not going to start like an Anti-Chiron tag because I don't find that enjoyable personally, but every so often people ask why I dislike him so here's essentially a "masterpost" of my thoughts on that situation for when anyone asks, just so I have it to explain some...
This isn't nearly a full list, and there's many more "incidents" that make me less than fond of Chiron, I don't hate the old man but he leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I'm not a fan of that. He's a very twisted character.
- The Lightning Thief
This quote is literally just after Percy's mom "dies", they're all sitting on the porch of the Big House right after he's finally woken up after days of sleeping, and that's the line Chiron pulls out on him.
That's straight up emotional manipulation which was entirely unnecessary in the context of what Chiron was trying to explain. There wasn't a single reason for that, in the slightest.
Immediately following that, and Percy, who canonically has anger issues, does his best to remain calm, he is immediately threatened by Dionysus, and Chiron doesn't even tell Dionysus off for doing that; Chiron just let's it happen. It's Grover who has to speak up to tell Dionysus off...
The only reason Chiron comes out looking like a old guy in this scene is because Dionysus was so much worse in his behavior, at one point intimidating Percy with his power over madness.
- The Titan's Curse
This is the aftermath of when Nico ran away upon confirmation of Bianca's death. When Percy is telling Chiron about the situation, Chiron wishes Nico had been eaten alive rather than recruited into an army.
He'd rather a child be dead than fight against him, and he openly tells this to other children he's in charge of. If Percy went missing would he have said "I hope he was eaten <3" as well?
I don't blame Perry for not delivering the truth here, it was done in an effort to protect Nico; which wasn't something Annabeth had planned on doing... I don't blame Annabeth for that though either, she's been beneath Chiron so long that she probably doesn't realize the shady stuff he does, and to her "going to tell" probably was the "right" move because she was a child...
But the fact that Chiron believes Nico truly would be better off eaten than alive :/
- Tower of Nero
This quote from Tower of Nero shows that Chiron lied to a bunch of young children (most of them were young because the older campers are largely dead because of the war or too old for camp now). It wasn't just a little white lie that adults sometimes tell kids either; they were walking into battle and he told them it was a field trip.
Did he even begin to explain the danger he was putting these kids in? Did the children understand their situation? And how dangerous it was?
Kayla has been blindsided over the years into thinking that telling children they're going on a field trip instead of fighting a battle is something to make a joke of and not be questioned... (Again, I don't blame her she's only like 12 in the book, but still)
Apollo also agrees, which isn't on Chiron but it's a whole mother reason why I can't stand Rick's interpretation of Apollo...
<><><><><>
This isn't me being like "oh Chiron is the worst most evil character ever" I just think that he has numerous flaws which are largely ignored in favor of the "perfect wise teacher" narrative when in fact Chiron and Dumbledore share a lot of.. Offputting qualities.
I do think that some of the situation is simply a result of Chiron having his hands tied behind his back by the gods some. And he even goes so far as to confirm this in a scene of TLT
However many of the scenes in which he exhibits behaviors like that in my first three screenshots are not related to anything the gods require and are, in fact, of Chiron's own free will.
Some things I would blame Zeus and the council for, such as how he withholds information from Percy to an excessive amount for long periods of time even when Percy straight up asks about things. I could easily see that being Zeus trying to prevent Percy from claiming the prophecy as his own, and I could see reasoning that maybe Chiron had sworn over the River Styx or something similar.
But those things don't apply to Chiron making such an unnecessary comment about Percy's mother so close to her "death". It doesn't explain why he would say he hoped Nico had been eaten out loud, and it doesn't cover the fact that he led children into a battlefield without telling them that's what was happening.
I think the context of Chiron's choices and comments would be different if the campers were older. If they were in their late teens or early twenties for the most part, I wouldn't really have much to say about how Chiron handled the situation.
But this man is in charge of children and extremely young teenagers, Percy is only 12 in TLT, maybe if he would have been 16 or 17 then I could give Chiron a pass, but he wasn't. Within the context of the comment he made in the Titan's Curse, Percy is only 14 and Nico is 10 at the beginning of the book... You don't wish a 10 year old had been eaten alive by a monster no matter how bad you think the alternative is, and if you do wish that you don't say it out loud to a group of other children. In the battle from Tower of Nero we get a quick look at the battlefield, and although Ben's age, and the age of another girl fighting alongside him are never confirmed they are implied to be fairly young, and we know Kayla is only 12 at the time too; yet Chiron told them it was a field trip instead of a battle, limiting the time they would have to mentally prepare themselves for what was coming.
On top of that, the nods the reader gets to the fact that Chiron can't act out against the gods depletes over the course of the series. After TLT the amount of times the situation involves the gods interfering with what Chiron is allowed to say lessens, and by the time the Heroes of Olympus series comes around, these limitations on his speech is almost entirely gone. Yet as seen in Tower of Nero he still does morally questionable things in regards to how he treats the campers.
Like I said, I recognize that in many scenes Chiron's hands are tied behind his back because of the gods.. But there are undeniably things he does of his own free will that are, in the nicest manner, very :/
This also isn't a full list of comparisons just a few notable scenes. I don't think Chiron is equally as bad as Dumbledore, but I think it undeniable that Chiron has some significant flaws built into his character design.
A good character has flaws, and there's nothing wrong with having a character that doesn't always conduct themselves properly or have good intentions- it's actually good writing, and I can appreciate that, but for some reason I find myself personally rubbed the wrong way by Chiron. This doesn't make Chiron badly written, or poorly designed, in fact I would say Rick's Chiron is very well designed in lots of ways, but I just don't like how it's never acknowledged by anyone in the series.
Like I said, I'm not starting an anti-Chiron situation, I just think little events like those mentioned, the way he's built a child army, and how he doesn't even try to plead with the gods over raising the ages on campers being allowed to battle is a little sus. But it more so bothers me that there's no attention payed to this problem anywhere in the books, not even by a side character or Luke, nowhere.
I don't actually care that much and this isn't that important to me, but sometimes people ask why I don't like Chiron and this is basically just my explanation to hand off to them... It's not even so much that I dislike Chiron entirely, he's well written and has his "good" moments, I just don't like the way other characters interact with him and his actions.
It's more a personal beef with him rather than an aspect of poor writing or him "being bad"... PJO in general (and HoO/ToA to a much lesser extent) shows that there's not such an inherent good vs bad in the world, and that sometimes people are victims of circumstances in some situations, or they're horribly misguided in their actions, but the series does a good job of showing those people as human still, and I applaud that.
I don't really know how to tie this up in its entirety, but there's nothing wrong with having a morally grey character who does questionable things and in many aspects it is good writing. I think Chiron is a result of Rick not thinking through the implications what he's doing in lots of situations, and I can see a fairly consistent drop in Chiron's characterization from PJO-ToA which is consistent with most other aspects of Rick's work.
I also want to clarify that if you like Chiron and disagree with me, that's absolutely 110% okay, I just personally dislike Chiron and that's on me. Like my problem with many of Rick's other immortal characters, I think he missed important aspects of them in some manner and slightly (or entirely in some cases) mischaracterized them in comparison to their original myths.. Some of these characters he came around on and fixed their character in many aspects to their more "correct" characterization (like Hera), while others (like Chiron and Apollo) he never quite figured them out. Which is a running complaint I have with Rick so I'm just adding this to his tab.
But yeah, I don't hate Chiron I just dislike him and those are different things, and I don't think it's a bad thing to have a morally questionable character, Chiron just personally rubs me the wrong way and I just wanted to explain that more fully because I've been asked about it multiple times.
Also I apologize for not adding a [read more] to this, it's a complaint of mine often when scrolling through the tags but I'm on mobile currently and don't have immediate access to a computer so~

guys oh my GOD i just found my newsies rants from the first BIG night of my hyperfixation and. hng. there's so much good content in here
*messages copy and pasted under the cut!
NOTE: all of these messages are from April 19, 2020- the first day of my newsies hyperfixation!
listen racetrack and crutchie are some of my babes and i fucking love them
BEN TYLER COOK IS THE ONLY VALID RACETRACK AND I DESPERATELY NEED THEM TO REDO THE CAST ALBUM TO GIVE HIM THE SPOTLIGHT HE DESERVES
I CANT LISTEN TO KING OF NEW YORK ANYMORE BECAUSE. IT ISNT RACE. dont get me wrong racetrack from the soundtrack is like. really good but he ain't livesies racetrack good
also everyone ships race and spot which is valid but idk I just feel like race and albert have more in common?? like. spot is a great character and all of the Brooklyn Newsies deserve so much more screentime and so much more content but i just feel like the only reason people like race × spot is because of the Inner-Bourough Relations and the territorial stuff (bc the brooklyn bois are pretty spooky) but race × albert is so much cuter ?? like they're both Manhattan newsies and they share a lot more screentime and they have a lot more in common and like !! their interactions throughout King of New York makes me cry so hard i love them so much
something is telling me that if i dont learn All Of The Newsies by tomorrow i'm gonna scream
so i think later today i'm gonna rewatch livesies, then watch 92sies, then make myself a google slides presentation with a pic of each newsie and their name so i can figure this shit out
JACK AND CRUTCHIE ARE BROTHERS BUT WE STILL STAN THAT JACK/RACETRACK DYNAMIC
if anyone tries to tell me that racetrack ain't Jack's #2 Dude i WILL bite i dont care
like??? we literally see race kinda take charge after the bulls bust up their strike and jack fucks off to be Emo On The Rooftop (which is still valid and i love him for it) but race steps in and lifts everyone's spirits again and god i love him for it
it's real "Loving Racetrack Higgins Hours"
OH OH OKAY SO THE EMO ROOFTOP SCENE
LIKE. FUCK. people kinda got on Jack's case for leaving after the big fight breaks out and the bulls take Crutchie, but what else can he do? jack is 17. he's scared. he's dealing with his own trauma after what happened to him at The Refuge (which is never explicitly stated, but his reaction leads me to believe there was definitely some kind of ab•se (and its canon that the officers at the refuge don't feed the kids as they should)). he's seen as the tough guy, as the leader, as the father figure for all of the newsies, but he's a kid. he put his life on the line for them, but that's too much responsibility for a teenager.
jack got thrown in the refuge- a jail for kids- because he stole food and clothing for the other boys. he did everything he did for everyone else, without ever taking his own feelings into consideration; it was never a case of "what's in it for me?", it was always "will this help the guys i love?" and that is Jack's biggest quality i think.
anyway- so, he disappears after the fight because he's guilty. he watch his best friend- no, his brother- get taken by the bulls and watched the others he loves get hurt, and he couldn't stop it. again, this is a 17 year old we're talking about. his whole Santa Fe scene is the most pivotal part of the show in my opinion? like- we see Jack having a breakdown, essentially. "just be real is all i'm askin', not some paintin' in my head" is such a painful line because he's holding onto the hope that somewhere he's never seen is good enough to risk leaving his life behind for, and we see the struggles between wanting to stay and help his friends and wanting to get out and live and be able to have a life where he doesn't have to live with such a huge responsibility on his shoulders.
ALSO THE WHOLE THING WITH THE GUYS THINKING JACK IS A SELLOUT BECAUSE HE GOT MONEY FOR TRYING TO CONVINCE THE NEWSIES NOT TO CONTINUE THE STRIKE HURTS MY HEART
like Pulitzer basically said "if you don't tell them to stop this, i'll personally make sure all of them end up in the refuge" and even used Davey as a plot device, since Davey is one of the few that has folks and a little brother, and Pulitzer essentially said "you wouldn't want your pal Davey getting separated from his family, would you?"
Jack believed in the Strike, and he believed in the Newsies, but he couldn't handle the risk of more of his family getting beaten and thrown into The Refuge, and it kills me to see that he couldn't tell the others why he suddenly had a "change of heart", and that they all think that jw just gave up on them until they realize later on that Pulitzer manipulated him right where it hurt most
I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT NEWSIES AND NO ONE TO TALK ABOUT IT WITH SO UH,, IM SORRY YOU GUYS GET THE SHORT END OF THE STICK
listen i could write an entire essay over Santa Fe and i love that song and it's just such an iconic "I Want" song and !!! fuck !!!!!! it's so sad but it bops!!!!!
"folks are fightin, bleedin, fallin, thanks to good old Captain Jack! Captain Jack just wants to close his eyes and GO"
and then theres a really long pause and his voice cracks and the next line just ?? hurts me ??
"let me go, far away, somewhere they won't never find me, and tomorrow won't remind me of today"
HE'S SO SAD AND STRESSED AND HURT AND GUILTY AND JUST WANTS TO LEAVE THE SITUATION TO PREVENT ANYMORE BAD THINFS FROM HAPPENING ADN I JUST WISH I COULD HUG HIM
i just realized ive been ranting for 30 minutes i love u all goodnight

What if JC killed mc at the end of the game? Like if they died to save their friends. Wouldn't that be messed up? (I don't think they will, just an idea.)
You know, I've thought about this a lot. It worries me. Because there are a couple of reasons why I can absolutely see them doing this. I am very worried about MC's fate for two reasons.
1) MC has always mirrored Jacob. If you list a checkpoint of everything we know happened to Jacob during his time at Hogwarts, all of the major events that occurred when he investigated the Vaults...they've all happened to MC as well, over time. From the big stuff like having a close friend die as a result of R, to the smaller things that are easier to miss, like having their wand broken and being grabbed out of the Three Broomsticks by an Auror. I've talked about this before but the only major events left that happened to Jacob, which have yet to happen to MC...are his expulsion, and his imprisonment.
An expulsion arc may be coming in the future, who knows. I think that's been foreshadowed a fair bit as well. But after that? When we inevitably return to the Sunken Vault? I am terrified of the idea you just suggested because it would make sense. MC wouldn't have to necessarily die, just sacrifice them-self for the sake of Hogwarts and their friends, and letting them-self be permanently sealed inside the Vault. And their friends won't be able to rescue them because to do so would be to open the Vault again, and MC would only be doing this to close the Vaults forever and finally end all of this. Jacob was sealed in a Vault, so it stands to reason that MC will be as well. And we're on the last year of the story. For players who chose to trap Rakepick in the Sunken Vault, that would add another parallel to this ending.
Of course, it's also possible that another character will step in to save MC from this fate, and take the fall in their stead. If this should happen, then I have my guesses about which character this might be, and I've had anons tell me about alleged leaks that suggest this would be the case. I was told about this well before Year 6 had even ended. Given what we know now...it doesn't seem unlikely. But that's a subject for another day. The question remains, why would Jam City seal MC's fate in such a way? Well, I think the answer lies within the second reason that MC dying or otherwise vanishing from the world would be logical.
2) They do not appear in the books. They are never mentioned in the books. We know why this is true, of course. Hogwarts Mystery is a prequel. MC isn't mentioned in the original books because they weren't invented yet, it's as simple as that. But doylist reasons don't apply in-universe. Why would Harry have never heard of MC? Well...I think the answer to that question is fairly obvious. Jacob's Sibling was only ever particularly close to Bill and Charlie, and they were the two Weasley brothers that Harry interacted with the least. There's no one who would logically tell Harry about MC. I know this is a meme, but MC just isn't relevant to Harry's story.
Even if you kill them off, that doesn't kill off all of the other characters (and this game has multitudes) who should, by the same reasoning, be people that Harry has heard of. Especially folks like Beatrice who's time at Hogwarts overlapped with his. Or...maybe it makes total sense that Harry, who's social life consisted of Ron and Hermione prior to OOTP, wouldn't have taken note of every person he glimpsed in passing. Maybe it makes total sense that Bill and Charlie wouldn't have mentioned Ben or Jae or Penny, or if they did, Harry didn't pay much attention. Maybe it makes sense that MC never visited the Burrow while Harry was there, because none of the other Weasley kids apart from Ron ever seemed to have any friends over, for some reason. That oddity is not exclusive to MC.
I feel as though Jam City is going to do this out of a sense of obligation to keep things as close to canon as possible. They'll want to write MC out of the potterverse because they weren't there during the books. I've said this before but I will yell it to the heavens in the hope that they hear me. Jam City, you do not need to do this. If you always planned for MC to die or disappear, then so be it. Our hearts will break, sure, but you should still stick to the ending that you've been building up to narrative-wise. But don't force MC to die or vanish just for the sake of upholding canon. You've been more than safe when it comes to respecting this universe's canon. The wizarding world may be small, but it's not so small that Harry never crossing paths with MC is unbelievable.

SW fandom rant
To be honest, I don't really know how or where can I start talking about this. If you aren't interested in any of the Star Wars drama that is going on then skip this post, cause its gonna be long... these goes for the SW fans we are concerned about the whole situation itself. I barely have the strength to do this and exposing my opinion about certain things makes me uncomfortable but it's been a long while since I'm keeping things to myself. There's much information I have to process so please be patient with me since I barely know how to express my emotions in the right way (that's why I'm holding myself back a lot here: it will seem I'm calm... but I'm not. I'm angry and tired at the same time).
DISNEY CANON
We all know where it all started. The Force Awakens premiere in 2015. We will start from there.
As ANY star wars movie, there will be people who liked it, people who loved it and people who hated it. And there is where some fans clash with the others. Fans who enjoy practically every movie or SW related things and those fans who demonize every movie (specially the ones from the new Disney canon) and the only thing that matters for them are the episodes IV, V, VI and the Legends canon (some of them also defend the prequel episodes I, II and III, fact which I'll talk about it later). And they bash against everyone who likes the Disney sequels.
BOI IM SCARED OF TELLING PEOPLE THIS WAS MY FAVOURITE SAGA SO FAR. And I already had problems with Legends hardcore fans.
Let me tell this straightaway... Star Wars are movies for kids. They've always been. George Lucas said it. They seem to be thirsty for feeling again what they felt when they were kids whenever a SW movie comes out but they always exit the cinema with a feeling of extreme disappointment.
I was talking about the last movie with my co workers at the beginning of the year and they complaint it was "too Disney". And that's precisely what I'm trying to explain! It's ok whether you like the sequels or not like them. Everyone has his own taste. I just find funny complaining for a whole saga originally made for kids for being "too Disney". I dont know if you get my point here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEsOqEpNF0k&list=PL8SlwcJuVWR2FNtL-6Wo5QUP6LMjpNJUA
LEGENDS CANON
Then there's those who hated the prequels, that said there was nothing worse than the phantom menace, those who hated on George Lucas for doing such a crap, but now praise the prequels because Disney is satan for them and they want the old canon back. George Lucas ended up selling SW to Disney because, he ain't no fool, he knows this fanbase is one of the most toxic and ungrateful that has ever existed. And he saw it with the prequels feedback... Then they now have the guts to demand him to continue the old canon? Smells like hypocrite-crying fanboys to me.
My whole point is....It's ok if you are a new/Disney sequels fan, it's ok if you are a prequels fan, it's ok if you are a SW original movies fan, Legends canon fan, OG fan, casual fan, hardcore fan... as always you understand that not everyone will agree with your point of view, not everyone will like or think the same way as you do, or live SW the same way as you do. There's a difference between respecting and agreeing with, concepts which sometimes get mixed and taken as the same thing, which is not. Respect other fans mean "I don't agree with you but I know how much this means for you, so I won't intentionally mock you" WHICH THING LEADS US TO THE NEXT TOPIC:
JOHN BOYEGA
*takes a deep breath*
Man. I dont know. He's a full grown up man and he's behaving like a 5 yo on his social media...... John is the actor who gives life to Finn (the ex stormtrooper). It all started with this sexist comment he responded to a fan in his IG.
Then people (naturally) got offended, specially reylos. But instead of apologizing he kept on going, remarked what he said and also did a video to mock the reylo community.
You think I'm only defending a ship here but no. Its bigger than that. He has the right to feel left out in this saga because I agree with him IN THAT FACT. He is probably the actor which is more into the SW world, he was always a big fan (of the whole cast I mean). Thats why fans love him do much. And I did love him too. And he (naturally) wanted to have more spotlight on this saga ( I think Finn was one of the most wasted characters of these movies tbh) But instead of taking it the mature way he's having a tantrum on his IG because Finnrey did not become a real thing, he's trolling reylos and encouraging SW haters and antis to bully them whose are already having a hard time with TROS end (which I'll talk about later because I dont like their attitude about it either).
And it's not just raise the hate on shippers thing dude you could just apologize because you said something sexist and offended a lot of people who ship reylo and really means a thing for them. The whole thing that the greatest achievement a man can have with a woman is sex is just DISGUSTING. Rey kissed Ben but now he's gone Finn has the road clear and can fuck her? BRUH.
This is all so wrong and he was the one who started it.
ADAM DRIVER
I'm really relieved Adam does not have any social media because omg I would be suffering so much rn...
I honestly have never emotionally connected with an actor so much as I did with him. His whole acting is so good and I could really notice on this last movie. I'm starting to watch his other movies. And not just his acting, he's so professional off camera too.
I'm really happy and proud of him for his Oscar nomination, he really deserves it TT
But I'm worried this whole John Boyega thing affects him. Idk how I would feel if I were in his shoes, if my coworker was saying those things on social media and then smile at me like nothing is happening. But honestly what hurts me the most is he's having a worse time with "reylos".. I think the rumors of him having an affair with Daisy Ridley was what messed things up. I honestly dont know if its true, I've got some info but it's hard to believe. Because there are so many haters manipulating fake info that I dont trust anything and anyone anymore.
And this is where I talk about:
REYLOS AND DAIVERS
BOI OH BOI
This is gonna be hard....
First of all, I don't consider Daivers (Daisy x Adam shippers) as part of the reylo community. I'm sorry. But its fucking disgusting you going to demand Adam to divorce from his wife, abandon his son and then start dating Daisy because of this rumor or because you can't separate fiction from reality.... I read he even recieved death threats ARE WE NUTS??? They (Adam and Daisy) having a good chemistry working together doesn't mean they are in love, kids...
Driver has an awesome wife and a lovely son. Daisy is currently dating someone.
Infidelity is gross. No more. And I would be so disappointed at them if this turns out to be true. But seeing all what's happening around the actors and specially having all this haters out there... I'll say this was all false information.
Daiver is not real and won't be. So stick only to the fictional ship.....
About Reylo itself. I find REALLY funny how people who dont know shit about what this ship means say it's an abusive relationship. Bullshit. I wouldn't be shipping them if so.
Also the people still stating it's not real/canon hiding themselves behind the "Ben solo is dead lol" argument. Do you stop loving someone when they die?
Yes, they love each other. No, it wasn't always reciprocated love. They started being enemies in the force awakens, friends who understood and cared for each other through force dyad in the last jedi and ended up being lovers at the end of the rise of Skywalker. Rey wants to revenge her family (her falling to the dark side) but also wants Ben Solo back, and he wants to be the most powerful leader on the galaxy and still being kylo ren. But they eventually meet in the middle between light and dark and Leia finally reaches out to him to make him turn to the light. That's their fight. That's the angst. That's the tea. "No one is ever really gone" there's always hope. Star Wars is centered in HOPE. And their story represents it at its finest.
NOW. The reylo community.
Despite you liked it or not the end they gave to the saga... I think JJ Abrams doesn't deserve all the hate he's receiving... he probably did a lot of things wrong but seriously... just stop. Not only from reylos but the whole fandom.
Sending hate won't lead to anything now...
I enjoyed The rise of Skywalker. Indeed I spent half of the movie crying and I loved it.
You can cry as much as you want the loss of Ben (although I have hope for him still being alive in a way, there are plenty of theories) but that doesn't give you the right to death threat JJ. And I think I'll stop here cause I'm already tired.
Everyone has their own taste, preferences, favourite characters, ships, whatever. I pray for people stop judging others for their tastes, specially in this cursed fanbase. Sorry if I ever misbehaved trying to defend what I think or like. I just want this place to be supportive and safe for everyone and everything what's happening is not helping... We are all SW fans and that's our connection point. Dont discredit others for having another point of view...
I'll leave it here, but I'm open to debate or talk about anything I said in a respectful way.
