i think a lot of people tend to forget that kindaichi is an instigator and can be kind of a snappy lil shit and jumps into saying things he doesn’t mean and is not actually a total angel who has never done anything wrong ever
#kindaichi yuutarou#haikyuu#haikyuu!!#sou says stuff#(putting these first this time bc. OOOH boy)#sorry i got told ‘it’s insane to think kindaichi could even be remotely in the wrong for what happened in middle school’#but like here’s the thing it’s not that i think he did something WRONG necessarily#i think he did what he felt like he had to do even if what he had to do was kind of an asshole move and it hurt kageyama#and that was the point!!!! it had to hurt kageyama!!! or else nothing would have changed!!!#but nonetheless he hurt kageyama and kageyama hurt him and that was something they both had to overcome and learn to grow from#bc that’s what haikyuu is about#there is not a single character who doesn’t grow and change and get better#we either see them actively do so or we see them start on the path of doing so#and to say kindaichi didn’t DO anything is i think very dismissive of his growth and what he had to go through#in regards to his relationship with kageyama#bc he was always ALWAYS making active choices#and when he told kageyama to not apologize??? not say anything??#i think he meant for that to go BOTH ways#'if you don't say sorry i won't say sorry'#they've always been a two-way street!!!#kageyama cared and kindaichi cared and the problem was that they couldn't figure out how to show it so the way it came out clashed IMMENSEL#and that's the tragedy of it. that's what went wrong. they hurt each other and they had to figure out where to go from there#and how to change and learn and grow#okay i'm done thanks all going to go eat with a friend <3333

best friend daichi who you actually did not meet until college when your roommate, michimiya, introduced you to each other.
best friend daichi who you did not have any interest for at first because you assumed him and michimiya had a thing for each other until
best friend daichi who you hung out with when you were both at a bar one night with your friend group as the two designated sober drivers. you had deep convos about life that made you see you had mroe in common than you thought.
best friend daichi who michimiya actually did like daichi but slowly started to notice how you and daichi both looked at each other with adoration after the night at the bar. she backed off but did not interfered because she knew how you both were (stubborn).
best friend daichi who you finally got closer to your second semester of college when you were taking a lot of the same classes which lead to a lot of late night study sessions at the library.
best friend daichi who brought you your favorite energy drink every day even though he always lectured you about how bad it is to drink it so much.
best friend daichi who you raced with every morning as a means to being motivated to jog for exercise.
best friend daichi who you always lost to because he was more of an athlete than you considering his volleyball days and your lack of any athletic skills.
best friend daichi who introduced you to his high school friends when they came to visit him and michimiya.
best friend daichi who smacked tanaka and noya for teasing you both for being too close to each other on the couch.
best friend daichi who realized his feelings for you when he was too scared to even breathe when you ended up falling asleep on his shoulder on said couch.
best friend daichi who you apologized to when you woke up an hour later after everyone had left...you mostly apologized for not saying bye to his friends.
best friend daichi who said it was okay in a quick breath like he hadn't breathed in ages.
best friend daichi who got a pillow thrown at his head by michimiya and was told to 'man up' right before she stormed out of the room leaving you and daichi alone.
best friend daichi who you sat in awkward silence with because while he knew what that was about, you did not.
best friend daichi who stood up from the couch and stood in front of you and did like a 2 minute speech about how wonderful you were and then asked if you would let him be your boyfriend.
best friend daichi who looked like he was about to turn into a tomato by the end of his ramble because he had never done something like that before.
best friend daichi who you hugged immediately before going into your own ramble about how amazing he was followed by you saying yes to him being your boyfriend.
best friend daichi who is now boyfriend daichi who yelled a thank you to michimiya before taking you out for a late connivence store run because he wanted to do a 'first date' as soon as possible.

"Wanna be your muse..."
Artist!Reader x Karasuno [Part 1]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary — He discover by chance that you love drawing him, maybe even too much...
Characters — Hinata, Kageyama, Yamaguchi, Tsukishima and Nishinoya.
— Fluff
— Gn! Reader
Tumblr media
You've been together for a month now, and him going to your house and vice versa was starting to become a routine. That day, he was the one who went to your house to spend the afternoon.
You were in your room watching a series, when you said you were going to the bathroom and left the room, leaving him alone there. While you were gone, he watched your room, looking at some posters on the wall, books on the shelf, a notebook open on his desk... – a notebook? - he thought. You usually left your desk tidy, so it was rare to have anything "dropped" on it.
He knew it wasn't good to see your things without permission, especially when you weren't there to let him or not, but he thought about taking the notebook and putting it on the shelf with the others. So when he went towards your desk to get the notebook, he didn't expect to see some drawings of him.
Tumblr media
Hinata Shoyo
When the boy saw that you drew him, he was SO happy. But at the same time he was also a little embarrassed, because it would never have crossed his mind that you liked drawing him.
And the moment you got back to your room, he almost had a heart attack at that time, not knowing what to say to you.
Do you remember that moment in the first episodes of the season 1, when Hinata was nervous for the match against Seijou?So...that's exactly how he was now.
He kept apologizing a million for having seen your notebook without your permission, please make sure everything is ok otherwise he will faint...
After he calmed down a little, he told you how much he loved your drawings, he thought they were so beautiful!
And after that, whenever he saw you drawing he would stop to watch you and praise anything you were drawing, even if it was just a simple sketch.
Kageyama Tobio
He was so confused.
"Why did you draw him?" "How do you draw so well?" "What do you see in him that you have so many drawings of him like that?" "Why was there a drawing of him as a prince holding you in his arms?"
There were many unanswered questions...
The first thing you saw when you returned to your room was a rosy-cheeked Kageyama staring frighteningly at your notebook.
He even tried to thank you for drawing him, or praise your drawings, but the moment the words left his mouth they were all confusing.
But somehow you understood what he was trying to say, and placed a small kiss on his cheek, which was now redder than ever.
Now whenever you draw, he takes a little peek at what you're doing, secretly wishing that he was the one you were drawing.
Tsukishima Kei
...What?
It was the only thing he could think of at the time.
He watched the drawings you made of him until you returned to the room.
You better be prepared, because Tsukishima was going to tease you about this until the end of the day...
But don't let his exterior fool you, because it may not seem like it, but he was very shy when he saw them.
What affected him the most was the way you drew him – he in person didn't look as pretty as in the drawing – that's what he thought.
So if you drew him that way was it because you saw him that way? That certainly stayed on his mind for a few days.
And from that moment on, whenever he saw you with your notebook he would ask if you were drawing him, with the aim of teasing you.
But if you answered yes, that you are really drawing him, Kei would just stay silent next to you, watching you.
Yamaguchi Tadashi
Poor guy, someone help him.
He would be totally shy about this.
Yamaguchi was always a boy who didn't feel so confident about his appearance, so when he saw the way you drew him, he was thrilled.
But after observing them a little longer, he was happy to know that you like making drawings of him. And just thinking about the work you had to do all that thinking about him, his heart warmed with affection for you.
If you sometime have an art block, he would send you several inspirations he found on Pinterest, because he knows you feel sad whenever you can't draw anything.
And no matter how many times this has happened, Tadashi will always be a little shy when he sees that you are drawing him or for him.
Nishinoya Yuu
Someone hold this boy please, because I'm sure the moment he saw you, he would throw himself at you and hug you.
And he probably won't let you go until you threaten to throw your slipper at his head.
That was certainly the best day of his life.
What do you mean the person he likes most in this world drew him?? He was delighted, to say the least.
Nishinoya would always give you crazy suggestions for you to draw, like him fighting a crocodile and with several explosions in the background.
And of course he would always show your drawings that you made of him to all his friends, telling everyone to feel jealous because he have an incredible partner who draws him so well.
Tumblr media
A/N — I decided to separate this one into two parts, otherwise I think it would be too long and it would take longer for me to post..😭😭

kageyama was THRILLED when you told him that the test was positive, he was smirking from hands to feel and saying praise and how good you are for him.
“I really hope he’s a boy..” He mumbles one day, leaning into your already round stomach
“I dont think id be able to live if there was a mini you walking around,” you groan in annoyance.
“i love you,” he says suddenly
“i love you too,” you reply
“I was talking to him,” he says, looking up at you and smirking.
you glare at him and at that point decide to ignore him for the rest of the day.
now where did that lead you?
here. legs spread while he slams into you.
“cmon baby, you cant ignore me all day,” he groans, gripping at your hips and basically using you like a fleshlight
“ngh…tobio- gnna mess w..with the kid,” you moan, gripping at the sheets as you approach your third orgasm of the night.
“mess with him hm? how doya think hed like a sibling hm?” he says, whispering in your ear before biting down on your neck.
“T..tobs- he isnt even..fuck..born yet!” you moan, moving your hands from the bedsheet to begin to claw at his back.
“alas, you admit its going to be a boy then, hm?” he says, a smirk evident in his voice.
“No-“ you begin, but youre interrupted by your orgasm. “fuck..fuck..Tobio!!” you moan loudly
“M’close, baby,” he groans, his thrusts growing sloppy yet faster, his grip on your hips grows painful and he pounds you harder, releasing into you with one final, rough, thrust. “fuck, my love, you feel so good,” he sighs.
you mumble incoherent words in response. gently, he wraps his arms around your body, pulling his limp cock from your hole with a soft popping sound. “doya think that made our chances higher of having twins..?”
“baby..thats..not how it works,” you sigh in response
“alas, but it should be,” he says, dramatically placing his hand over his forehead and faking a swoon.
you let out an exhausted sigh and he tightens his grip on you in response. “Shh baby, youre safe with me, no matter how many kids we have theyre going to be so perfect.”
“KAGEYAMA ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!” you shout playfully, holding two baby boys in your arms.
“Shh, my love, youll wake them up,” he replies, undoing his shoes.
you sigh and walk over to him, giving him a kiss on the cheek. “how was practice?” you ask gently, whispering in order to not wake your kids.
“it was alright, thanks,” he grumbles back, clearly annoyed. “my days better not that im home with my three favorite boys,” he says, kissing your forehead gently.
you hum in response, smiling happily at his remark. gently, he grabs your hand and leads you and the boys to the bedroom, placing you on the bed and wrapping his strong arms around your waist. he buries his head in the crook of your neck and closes his eyes, content with the situation.
“I love you,” he mumbles
“Are you talking to me or the kids?” you ask playfully.
END
I REALLY HOPE THAT WAS GOOD ENOUGH LMK IF THERE IS ANYTHING YOU WANT CHANGED N I WILL ADD/SUBTRACT ANY PART OF IT. IM SO SORRY ITS KINDA RUSHED 😞😞

unsure of what to do, you slip your phone into your back pocket and wait as kageyama comes up to you. he looks nervous, and you feel a little bad for the boy as you catch a glimpse of his friends huddled together in the corner of the shop.
“um…” kageyama begins, fiddling with his fingers. you hear one of his friends — the blonde one with the obnoxiously long order — giggle from behind his hand. a nervous smile creeps up your face, but you decide to bite.
“hey! kageyama, right? from elementary?” you stick out your hand, the reluctant smile on your face melting into a genuine one as you register the shock on kageyama’s face. his lips part for a moment before he gingerly nods in reply. he takes your hand, and you notice how it engulfs yours. it's warm, and a bit calloused — though you assume it's due to his years of playing volleyball.
“yeah, i didn’t think you’d remember.” he mumbles. a breathy laugh escapes you, and kageyama perks up at the sound.
“of course i would!” you exclaim. “weren’t we like, best friends back then? it would be pretty rude of me to forget one of my first and closest friends, y’know.”
kageyama quietly chuckles at that, but you probably wouldn't have even noticed it if it weren’t for the emptiness of the coffee shop today. you're internally grateful that it wasn't busy; you doubt that you'd be able to catch up with kageyama like this if it was.
fidgeting with the ends of your apron, you continue your conversation with him. it was nice to hear from him again, especially since the two of you hadn’t been able to keep in contact. there was a lot to catch up on, so you listened carefully to him.
kageyama told you about his volleyball career, and how he plans on playing in the professional league once he graduates college. you already knew he enjoyed playing volleyball, that had been made apparent to you from early on even as a child. now, though, you knew he had truly come to cherish the sport over the past six years. he still had the same child-like glint in his eyes when talking about the sport.
you spoke about your own activities during junior and high school as well, though you were afraid that you were boring kageyama with your lackluster stories. he assured you that you weren’t, even making an effort to ask questions after your half-serious statement.
that made it hard to deny the butterflies swarming in your stomach, but you would never admit that aloud.
unfortunately, your conversation ends when kuro walks over to inform kageyama that they’d be late to practice if they didn’t leave now. kageyama gives you a curt nod, apologizing, but you assure him that it's fine. you didn’t want to be the reason he was late to practice, so you wave him off with a smile.
“(name),” kageyama began, and the sound of your name makes you whip around from the coffee bar you’d turned to. “sorry, i was just wondering if i could get your number?” his phone is in hand, the screen facing you. his contact app is already open, the lines of numbers staring back at you.
“oh! yeah, yeah, that’s a good idea…” you replied, taking the device and typing in your number. “there we go. have a good day, kageyama!”
“thank you, (name).” he smiled, before returning to his group of friends. you watched as they leave the shop, cheering and slapping kageyama’s back once they exited the glass doors. he looked red, and the sight made you laugh.
“so…” hitoka began, coming up from behind you. you jump at her sudden presence, turning back to face her. there was a grin on her face, partly teasing and partly sincere.
“shut up, hitoka." you grumbled, "he looked scared when he first came up to me!”
“i didn't even say anything, (name)!” she whined, causing you to laugh. you continue wiping down the coffee machine as you await her next words.
“you know, i think you guys would be cute together.”
there it was.
“hitoka, we've been over this. i'm too busy with school and work as is, there's no way i'd be able to balance a relationship on top of that.” you shake your head, placing the cloth down on the counter. “aside from the fact that i don't need a boyfriend in the slightest, i just met kageyama."
hitoka shook her head in response. “yeah, you don't need one, but wouldn't it be good to at least start seeing people? it's been forever since your last boyfriend. and it doesn't have to be kageyama, but I'm just saying! isn't he at least a little cute?”
“he's okay, i guess,” you drawl. “but i still stand behind the fact that i don't need ― or want ― a boyfriend.”
“but you guys looked so cute together! it was like a shojo anime was playing right in front of me.” hitoka whined, draping her body over the counter.
“hitoka.”
“fine, but i still think a relationship would do you good!”
your only response was a sigh.
“whatever. let's just go home.”

∘   (name) genuinely lost 10 years off their life when atsumu came to order.
∘   atsumu's order came out last because (name) had to keep on re-checking the specifics of it. they refused to call the entire order out so they just said "caramel frappuccino?"
∘   tobio straight up ordered milk at the coffee shop. literally just asked for a cup of milk. thankfully hitoka was working the register, but when (name) read the order for a cup of milk, they were like ???. everyone else (minus atsumu) got something normal.
∘   tobio's group was whisper-shouting at him to go up to (name), but they were also typing in the gc simultaneously, so they looked like screenagers.
∘   ALSO hello hello hi!! thank you all sm for all the support for charm + my other works ♡ i really was not expecting to receive a lot of attention and was honestly just posting because i wanted to share my ideas with the world ― i hope you all enjoy what i have planned for charm in the future, and i hope it lives up to your expectations!

as long as the sun remains the sun
"rise and shine, boys!" mattsun yells over the drowsy first years, banging pots and pans together. "rome wasn't built in a day!" "we're japanese!" tsukishima barks. 5k. iwaizumi/oikawa/kageyama. camping!au. also on ao3.
Asahi is the one who breaks first.
“WHAT THE FRICK!!” came a decidedly shrill, possibly embarrassing, surely pathetic scream from over all the way at the other side of the camp that had Iwaizumi snap his head in that direction and Oikawa inch closer to him almost imperceptibly.
"Don't tell me—" Suga shakes his head at the same time Daichi curses low under his breath, "What now."
A dozen things happen at once in rapid succession.
Noya sprints to the direction of the voice, Hinata close on his tail because he was basically His Tail. Ennoshita scrambling after them after Suga hissed at him to not just stand there and follow. Yahaba quirking an eyebrow at the elementary choice of a curse word, Narita catching his judgment and getting all up in his space until he apologized, Tanaka acting as his back-up.
Daichi, who had so far been in the middle of a passionate rant detailing Karasuno’s dependability when it came to these things—What things, Mattsun interjected. Roughhousing and getting our hands dirty, Suga supplied proudly—when Asahi all but debunked it in less than the time it took for Makki to count heads as soon as they arrived at the campsite.
“Your kid is missing,” Makki comments, looking over the list of attendees.
“Ours?” Oikawa asks, at the same time Daichi stands up, “Probably mine.”
Makki looks back and forth between them, suddenly feeling unsteady on his feet and fumbling around for an out. Iwaizumi knows exactly the reason why, and voices it out loud for everyone to hear: “It’s Kageyama.”
Again, a dozen things happen at once.
Daichi gasps out in horror, head whipping around the campsite.
Mattsun palms his forehead, already dreading the absolutely normal reaction he was absolutely going to get from Oikawa.
Suga decides he wants to permanently end Iwaizumi’s life for the multiple grave offenses he’d been committing against his soul throughout the day: getting the last window seat on the bus, being a loud snorer, breathing near him and making it his problem, choosing gluten-free marshmallows at the rest stop like a deranged psychopath. He told him as much at check-out, You’re a deranged psychopath and I don’t trust my first years with you, Suga admonished. Likewise, Iwaizumi replied, looking menacingly down at the copious amounts of sugary pastries in his basket. And you’re not feeding my first years this shit.
And really it was that bold and unfounded sense of entitlement that had Suga adding another box, more out of sheer spite than anything as he passed him, glaring, Watch me.
"We've been here less than an hour," Makki looks around in confusion, exasperated. "How have we already lost one of them. What exactly could have happened in less than an hour."
Suga and Daichi look at each other.
"Hinata," they say at the same time.
-
They find Kageyama lost in the woods.
It’s Iwaizumi, best tracker on the team and just generally more adaptable to wilderness survival, who finds him holding onto his duffel bag for dear life under the bark of an ancient looking tree. He apparently challenged Hinata to a race on who can get to the campsite first and got thoroughly sidetracked by the similar looking trees and having ostensibly no sense of direction or self-preservation, huddled in an open area easily accessible to rain or wild animals.
Iwaizumi sighed and mentally noted for later: Teach Kageyama basic life skills, that he then revises to, Make Sugawara teach Kageyama basic life skills.
“Kageyama,” he says, approaching the clearing. Kageyama’s head snaps up and the look of such open relief on his face tugs at Iwaizumi’s heart a little, because it really was so easy, to slip into a senpai complex for someone like him. “You okay?”
Kageyama blinks. "I-Iwaizumi-san," he starts hesitantly, standing up on shaking legs. "I—"
"Got lost," Iwaizumi answers for him. "I know. We've been looking for you for a while."
Kageyama flushes. "You have?"
"You mean you haven't been hearing your vice captain call your name bloody for the past hour?" Iwaizumi tries for a joke. Only it's not really, because Suga was swearing himself raw, if not for Daichi reminding him to preserve his voice for later.
But Kageyama still just blinks, still so disoriented, still so wet behind the ears no matter the facade he puts up.
"Right then," Iwaizumi clears his throat, beckoning him over. "Let's go."
Kageyama all but trips over his feet to follow after him, clutching his bag even tighter to his chest as he hangs off Iwaizumi’s every word.
“The next time you find yourself lost in the woods,” he starts explaining. “Try tracking the movement of the sun.” When he looks over to check if Kageyama was listening, instead notes the absolute gobsmacked expression on his face in return, amends just as quickly: "Oh, he says. “You can just — follow the sunset.”
Kageyama begins vehemently nodding, scrambling to get a notebook out and listing all the other things Iwaizumi was rattling off about when it came to Camping Survival 101. Don't eat this, he points to a patch of enticing ivy. Only drink from fresh water sources like rivers or streams, he adds. But if you find yourself in a pinch, carve out an opening from a tree and wait for the water to follow.
By the time they make it back to camp, Oikawa has half the Karasuno team—and some of Seijoh—in a formation line much like a militant officer does with its army lines, barking out orders to fan out across the different areas of the campsite. Go to the forest, ordered Oikawa at Noya. Try the trail behind the waterfalls, he yelled at Kyotani.
Daichi and Suga sported uniform looks of indignation as Oikawa looked an hour away from splitting his hair out in frustration.
“If someone doesn’t get Tobio back by midnight,” he warns the rest. “I swear to G—”
Iwaizumi coughs.
Oikawa doesn’t turn, doesn’t even acknowledge his return. He senses it, Iwaizumi knows, the change in the air and the very real presence Kageyama takes up in any space. So instead his shoulders just stiffen, tilting his head their way just so.
“I mean,” Oikawa coughs, loudly and not at all awkwardly. “Tobio can sleep in the rain for all I care!” he claps. “Right then, back to unpacking!"
-
Naturally, as with all order of things, sleeping arrangements go by as smoothly as everyone expects.
“No.”
“At least look at it.”
“No.”
"You didn't even look!"
"I said no."
Yamaguchi looked like he was tempted by the devil himself to throw a log Kunimi’s way. “Oi,” he hisses, growing annoyed. “What’s so wrong with this sleeping bag? It’s the same as everyone else’s.”
Kunimi cast a bored glance at the pack Yamaguchi was holding up, all neatly folded and prepped for use. “It’s orange,” he deadpans. “I hate orange.”
“It’s just a color!” yells Yamaguchi. “It functions exactly the same!”
“Then why don’t you use it?” Kunimi lifts a brow. Behind them, they can hear Hinata yelling at Kageyama to move his sleeping bag by the outskirts of the camp, his longer than usual pack taking up half the space designated for the first years. Kindaichi looked equally awkward trying to fit himself and his belongings in what little space they were allowed to take up. “If it’s basically the same thing anyway?”
Yamaguchi breathes once, twice. “It’s not for me,” he explains slowly. “None of our sleeping bags fit Tsukki. He needs a longer one like Kageyama’s.”
Kunimi crosses his arms in defiance. “And that’s my problem because?”
Yamaguchi has half the mind to call out for Daichi, or Iwaizumi, or literally anyone else who could demonstrate even a modicum of empathy so clearly lacking in Kunimi.
"You don’t even need it!” he gestures wildly to the mint green one by his legs. “You can use the large one like everyone else’s! Tsukki can't use anything else but extra large!”
Kunimi huffs, brushing past him. “I’m not like everyone else,” delivered in the same cadence as a main character in a 2000s romcom who finally decides she's better than everyone and doesn't need a man to fulfil her needs both emotionally and physically.
"What the fuck," Yamaguchi swears under his breath as he stared after him.
He turns his head in time to see Hinata and Kageyama running around and demanding Kindaichi to share his insect repellant spray, along with some of the manga he brought, telling him to not be so selfish and stop hoarding all the survival items. Iwaizumi stops them all with a glare and forces Kindaichi to share, Hinata to shut up, and Kageyama to let him know if he needs anything else.
"What the fuck," Yamaguchi swears under his breath as he stared after them.
-
By the time dinner rolls around, everyone is either pissy (first years), amused (second years), or elated (third years).
They were all lounging about the makeshift campfire that took all afternoon to build, the warmth of the fire lighting up everyone's features along with the moonlight streaming in through the gaps in the trees. It was unusually cold that night, a breeze in the air that began from deep in the forest until it tapered out to just north of chilly in their site. But even so, the expressions on everyone's faces felt far more frosty.
Oikawa is the first to pick up the tension.
He leans over to whisper as much to Daichi, who was busy arranging the logs in the fire. “I think,” he starts curiously. "Something is going on."
Daichi looks up to survey around the camp, taking stock of his own kin and then some.
Hinata and Kageyama are, predictably, huffing and puffing and very pointedly looking away from each other because God knows what and who has the time. Yamaguchi has been apologizing for the better part of ten minutes, very nearly close to begging to a Tsukishima who hasn't even so much as glanced his way, because God knows what and who has the time. Kunimi and Kindaichi are the only ones who at least look mildly cohabitative, but then again Daichi thinks he’s never seen them be anything but bored and nervous, respectively and in equal measures.
His eyes trail over everyone—in various states of pissed, amused, elated—before giving up and shrugging, “God knows what and who has the time.”
But evidently, Suga and Iwaizumi do.
“Well well well,” Suga cooes, straddling up to where the first years were, sensing turmoil between Yamaguchi and Kunimi. "What say we turn those frowns upside down?"
"Oh god," Yamaguchi audibly groans into his hands. "Please stop."
Kunimi looks on in horror at a grinning Suga, slowly inching away from the fire before Iwaizumi clamped a hand on his shoulder, "Not so fast."
Yamaguchi and Kunimi lock eyes in a rare moment of unity. There was an internal conversation happening in the span of a second, before both of them, as if on cue, break open.
"HE WON'T GIVE ME HIS BAG!"
"HE WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE!"
Iwaizumi puts both his palms up. "Bedside voices, boys," he chides, stern. Suga instinctively took a step back at the sound, but rights himself on time as he comes up next to Iwaizumi. "Yes yes," he agrees. "What he said."
Across the crackling of the fire, Daichi looks on impassively as Oikawa sports a drool.
"Think we should do something?" Daichi nods to the almost ridiculous scene of Yamaguchi and Kunimi both kneeling by the dirt, heads bowed low in shame as Iwaizumi rattled off about team camaraderie and the importance of communication. Suga was animatedly agreeing along to whatever he was saying and sporting his own That's right! That's right! comments from time to time. "We are technically their captains."
"Captains, shmantains," Oikawa mumbles distractedly, and when Daichi turns to look, notes in annoyance his attention wasn't even directed at the scolding but more so the matters of Iwaizumi's backside in shorts. "We do enough. We work hard. We earned this."
Daichi coughs awkwardly. "Earned what, exactly."
Oikawa doesn't even budge, stars shooting out of his eyes as he gave possibly the most obvious and inappropriate once-over Daichi has ever seen in his life. And he's seen Tanaka with Kiyoko.
"This," he says, gesturing to Iwaizumi and in Oikawa's words, "glorious display of aesthetic athleticism."
-
They threaten everyone with suicide runs the next morning.
If there was anything at all both third years unanimously agreed on—aside from their perverse sense of ownership over exactly who it was that raised Kageyama, with Iwaizumi putting up a surprisingly good fight—it was the equally perverse sense of joy they derived from torturing underclassmen. The sun was glaringly bright, the blue of the clouds so open, and the ringing voices of their seniors all the more jarring.
"Rise and shine, boys!" Mattsun yells over the drowsy first years, banging pots and pans together. "Rome wasn't built in a day!"
"We're Japanese!" Tsukishima barks, putting the covers back up on his head.
Suga just yanks his blanket from his sleeping bag, earning him a death glare he expertly deflects with a smile that was deceptively way too chipper for someone he swears he heard yelling at Daichi during Golden Week to shut his phone up or he was going to hurl it across the Pacific Ocean.
"Japanese, Yappanese," Makki strolls over to shake Kageyama and Hinata off of their matching sleeping bags. "Today, you're all under our command."
Hinata just rolls over Kageyama.
Kageyama just lets him.
Makki curls a brow, a single foot raised to kick them before Oikawa gets there first, pushing him away. "I got it," he says. "Jesus Christ, Makki, they're children."
"We're sixteen!" bites out Tsukishima again, who was now being forcibly dragged by Mattsun along with Kunimi and Kindaichi to the shower stalls. "And we have legal rights! My brother will hear about this!"
"Your aniki will be glad someone finally put your spoiled ass in place," Daichi declares, trying to separate Hinata from their tangle of limbs. From his peripheral, he can see Asahi gently trying to get Yamaguchi to stop mumbling in his sleep. "He sends his regards by the way! Saeko-neesan too, Tanaka!"
"Tobio," Oikawa crouches, rocking his sleeping bag. "Tobio," he says again, shaking his shoulder. "Tobio," he hisses directly next to him. Nothing. Oikawa breathes once, twice, before standing up and very pointedly bringing a leg up to stamp on him before Iwaizumi, too, beats him to it.
"What the fuck," he swears, putting a hand out to stop him. "So much for them being children!"
Oikawa has his mouth open to retort, before a ball of orange fur snowballs its way past them and lumps itself together again with the black mass that was Kageyama. They hear Daichi stomping over the next second, cursing under his breath at Hinata for once again getting past him.
"Kageyama.." Hinata mumbles into his hair sleepily, and to their horror, sees Kageyama actually melting into the embrace almost unconsciously. "Think... someone's calling.. Let's.. ignore.. if.. Tsukishima."
-
By the time they wrangle everyone awake and slap water on their faces, Daichi and Oikawa are only too happy to introduce them to the 10-km hiking trail everyone was required to complete.
"Mind," recalls Oikawa, looking over his nails in boredom. "We heard there were some snakes in the more woodsy areas."
"Bears too," adds Daichi, grinning.
"Bears too," affirms Oikawa, also grinning.
Kyotani and Tanaka try to run.
Iwaizumi hauls them both back by the necks of their shirts, all pearly white teeth in the shit-eating grin on his face when he dumps them back on the line. Hinata shudders and rapidly gets his phone out, shaking hands wobbly typing out his last will and testament to an incoherent text meant for Kenma; when a hand shoots out to yank it out of his hands. Mattsun, grinning down on him like a feline cat, as he then began patting everyone down and demanding they surrender their electronics. Next to him, they can hear Yamaguchi pleading for his life to a bored Makki.
Suga doesn't answer to a single one of their cries for help.
Asahi just hid cowardly behind him.
Daichi whistles to get everyone’s attention.
“Alright then,” he grins over the growing crowd and uses their agony to fuel his adrenaline higher. Oikawa was doing the same. “With this, we formally welcome you to the Annual Karasuno-Seijoh Summer Teambuilding Camp!”
Oikawa’s smile fades a little at that. “I thought we agreed on Seijoh-Karasuno?”
“Are you perhaps a secret fujoshi?” Daichi asks innocently.
Oikawa blinks. “I—” he starts, unsurely, ignoring Suga chuckling behind him. “I don’t particularly think so, no.”
“Then it doesn’t matter,” Daichi snaps, turning his attention back to their first and second years who were only growing more creative with their complaints and vain attempts at getting out of the day’s torture activities.
"I sprained my ankle," whines Hinata.
"You're our fastest runner," rebuts Suga.
"I'm allergic to trees," pipes Kindaichi.
"Not a thing," offers Mattsun.
"My sister said no," weeps Tanaka.
"You wanna try that again?" warns Daichi.
Iwaizumi clasps his hands together. "Enough!" he booms. If Oikawa inched closer to him in turn, everyone has the good foresight to keep their mouths shut about it. "Are we doing this or what?"
"Y-yes, Iwaizumi-san!" the first and second years chorus.
Now both Oikawa and Daichi's faces fell.
"Why do they always only listen to him?" wonders Suga, falling into step with the third years at the rear of the line. The first years were ahead, yelling and grovelling and swearing all their seniors rotten. It was music to their ears. "Is it like an alpha thing?"
"Most definitely an alpha thing," muses Makki, who also falls into step beside him. "Have you seen the way even Oikawa looks at him? Omega ass behavior."
-
They take their first break after three hours.
Or, maybe it was more accurate to say, Tsukishima wouldn't stop grinding everyone's ears about the asthma condition he conveniently picked up within the first thirty minutes despite Suga knowing from Kiyoko no one on the team had such an autoimmune disease, that then suddenly morphed into an apparent life-threatening mutation that was going to kill him and everyone around him if he didn't let his body pause to take a break now, right now, this instant; that had Daichi snapping at everyone to take five.
"Oh thank god," Tsukishima wheezes, falling to his knees.
"Tsukki!" came Yamaguchi's predictable cry of concern no sooner.
Most of the first years are sprawled out on the ground, chests heaving and breaths coming out in pants. The second years look as equally insufferable, but are too prideful to show any form of weakness to the third years who all but look like they just came out of a sports magazine photoshoot. There wasn’t a sliver of disorientation or a hair out of place. Iwaizumi even passed around the loot bags they had apparently so lovingly, out of the goodness of their hearts, prepared for them while they were all sleeping the night before.
Only the best for our cute kouhai! singsung Oikawa gleefully.
Be thankful we even remembered to bring snacks for you forgetful brats! scolded Daichi sternly.
Hinata gingerly brings himself back to life, dragging his aching bones and his pack to where most of the first years converged purely out of a symbiotic survival instinct to band together against exploitative seniors. They were already angrily in a discussion about something, something that sounded much like plotting for the demise of Oikawa.
Or Daichi.
Or both.
"Do you know what they're feeding Goshiki right now?" Hinata seethes in a low voice, eyes darting around in alarm. "Fresh bread and crepes. Crepes. And what has Iwaizumi-san fed us so far?" he frowns down at the loot bag. "Fish crackers. Frog legs. For nutrition. Jesus Christ."
Kunimi grimaces, rubbing at his sore neck. "Welcome to the club."
"Have they always been this insufferable?" groans Tsukishima, angrily munching on a fish cracker.
"Oikawa? Yes," Kunimi replies. "Iwaizumi? Also yes."
"Oikawa-san is usually nicer," Kindaichi offers, breaking off a piece of a protein bar he snuck into his pants that morning to split with Kageyama and Yamaguchi. "But Iwaizumi-san is a dictator, yes."
"Can confirm," Kageyama adds, after mumbling his thanks.
"Shut up!" Tsukishima hisses, yanking his share of the snack and shoving it in his mouth. "They basically pamper you!"
Kageyama points to himself incredulously. "M-me?" he stammers. "Daichi wouldn't give me another blanket because he told me children in third world countries didn't even have a roof over their heads and to not be so selfish, Kageyama. We raised you better than this, Kageyama," he mimes hotly. "And I'm the spoiled one?!"
Now it was Hinata's time to be annoyed. "Remind me again who was it that Oikawa-san made sure to get extra servings of rice last night."
Yamaguchi was only more than happy to pile on. "And who Iwaizumi-san made sure got warm water for his bath."
Kindaichi, surprisingly, also joins in. "And who warned me and Kunimi a day before the trip to be nice to Kageyama."
"Can confirm," is all Kunimi says, stealing Kindaichi’s insect repellant spray from Hinata's pack.
-
"A little more to the left, Kunimi."
...
"More."
...
"More."
...
"Are you an athlete or what? Tilt further and higher than that! More!"
...
"Daichi-san," Kunimi starts slowly, struggling to hold up the fishing pole that was already struggling to break with how brittle it was. Behind them he can hear Oikawa and Iwaizumi using far less harsher words to Kageyama and Hinata.
"This," he croaks out, "is my more."
They were somewhere by the open river, honest to gods fishing for their keep because someone—aka Iwaizumi—got it inside Daichi's and Suga's heads that real men should earn their keep and not wait to be fed. Nevermind all of them were literal minors and had literal permission slips signed to delegate these seniors with their lives in the event something should happen. Nevermind all of it was legally binding. Nevermind the second years didn't even bat an eye as soon as Iwaizumi got the fishing poles and worms out, apparently already expecting this method of torture from the previous year.
Tsukishima of course put up a riot.
He sputtered out and about as he rallied for the perfectly good rations they had back at the campsite and even volunteering himself for cooking duty if that was the problem. Makki and Mattsun were only too happy to tug him along to the deepest end of the waters, hunking him down and forcing him to wield the longest fishing pole they had. Might as well use that height for somethin', Makki quipped, Rather than just bitchin' and moanin'. Yamaguchi was tasked with the gruesome chore of feeding the live worms to his bait, his features squeamish and disgusted. Y-you can do it, Tsukki!
"Ease up on him a little, Daichi," Suga teases some ways near them, helping Kindaichi keep a line steady.
"I will if he would just tilt to the left," Daichi warns, arms impatiently pointing to the side. Kunimi groans again, digging up some of his reserves to wield the stubborn line that wasn't budging this way and that. "It's really not moving!"
"You're just not tilting hard enough," demands Daichi.
"I am!" cries Kunimi, a bead of sweat trailing down his jaw.
"More!" barks Daichi, insistent. "Unless you're okay with Kindaichi one-upping you?"
Kunimi's head snaps to Kindaichi, who was raising about a 15-inch slapjack hooked to his pole, along with the world's most shit-eating grin he wants to wipe off. Suga was beaming up at him proudly and yelling out his accomplishment for all of them to see and hear. Cries of congratulations and envy are volleyed throughout the stream. He sees foam rise out of Kageyama's ears as he huffed and rolled on his line even more fervently, an amused Iwaizumi telling him to go slowly and Oikawa taunting Hinata to do the same.
"Let this be a lesson to you boys," Suga jeers across the field. "If you have a good mentor, the rest will follow!"
All the third years lock eyes.
They dine on the entire sea that night.
-
The training camp ends with an old-fashioned bbq party.
Iwaizumi was on the grill with Daichi and Asahi, moving in a routine that’s far smoother and more amicable than the rough patch they started with. They find out Iwaizumi is particularly adept at manning the grill and flipping the meat over, all grunt work and being the only one of the two who actually followed through with his verbal warnings to any of the first years who kept trying to sneak an early bite.
I wouldn't do that if I were you, he warned to a stunned Yamaguchi. Unless you want this knife aimed somewhere lower.
Daichi, in charge of seasoning and Asahi with prepping, deft and nimble hands making quick work of both; don't even bat an eye when they see Iwaizumi set aside three plates he starts unceremoniously piling up with the leaner portions of meat.
Kunimi and Kindaichi are a given—Daichi pleasantly surprised to see him gentle somehow where they are concerned—but it's Kageyama who still comes as a surprise.
"Are they related or something?" Asahi whispers, oiling some of the grill grates. "Maybe cousins? Kageyama does look a little like him."
Daichi shakes his head, rubbing a thin layer of salt and pepper to a piece of chicken thigh. "I don't think so," he admits. "Just former teammates, I think."
Asahi nods along. "And Oikawa?"
"What about him?" pipes Iwaizumi, having overheard part of their conversation as he transfers some leftover charcoal Hinata brought to the pile. "What about Oikawa?"
Asahi flushes a little. "Oh," he says. "It's just that he's — well —"
Iwaizumi gestures for him to go on.
"He seems—" Asahi continues, unsurely. "I don't know. Like he wants to both kill Kageyama in his sleep and feed him until he fattens up like one of those kids from Hansel and Gretel."
Daichi suppresses a laugh.
Iwaizumi just looks amused. "Actually," he surmises. "I think you got everything right. Definitely the feeding part, at least. It’s why he’s threatened me to set aside all the leg parts for Kageyama since this morning,” he chuckles. “But we're working on the killing part."
Everyone is only too happy to be fed normal food for once.
The sun was just shy of setting around the campsite, hues of golden orange and pale yellow streaking the place in a healthy, lovely glow. The sounds of birds chirping and flitting about the pine trees are a welcome break from all the yelling, the wind at just the right temperature to be breezy and warm.
Hinata, especially, is overjoyed with all of it. "Waaa!" he gushes, all bright eyes looking up at Iwaizumi who handed him his plate he filled with extra enoki mushrooms. "This looks soooo good, Iwaizumi-san!"
Iwaizumi blushes, looking away. "R-right," he stammers. "Yes. Um. Eat—well, then."
At his side, he can feel Suga eyeing him knowingly. "You can say it," he says, setting up the drinks. "Hinata is very cute and will feed your senpai ego well."
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” mumbles Iwaizumi, assembling the next plate.
The rest of the afternoon goes swimmingly. The sounds of easy laughter and open conversation flowing seamlessly throughout, seniors and juniors alike mingling. Asahi manages to hold a conversation with Makki and Mattsun that doesn't end with him sweating buckets at potentially overstepping anything he says, the Seijoh third years only too happy to know he was also a fan of the Sendai Frogs and was he looking to go pro after highschool, they wonder?
Tanaka and Noya were in a heated discussion with Yahaba and Kyotani, both parties having very spirited opinions on whether Kubota Sayu or Fujino Ryoko were the representatives of 2000s actresses for Nippon cinema. Daichi was giving even more pointers to Kunimi about fishing, Kindaichi not even bothering to hide he was listening in and Suga only too happy to use his distraction as a way to funnel more meat into his plate.
Oikawa was busy fussing over Kageyama in his usual roundabout way, frowning down at the lack of vegetables in his plate and blaming Iwaizumi for sabotaging the child's health intentionally. I know he's our rival and everything, Iwa-chan , Oikawa chides. But doesn't he deserve nutrition too? Iwaizumi gave him an amused look, perhaps knowingly, Oikawa not budging an inch. Iwaizumi relents and goes back to fetch an entire plate full of hijiki seaweeds and cucumbers and seasoned radishes.
Kageyama flushed at all the food and attention, but where those two were concerned, he's long since learned it was best to just let them have their way unless they argue and make it everyone's problem. Again.
Towards the end it's Daichi who approaches Oikawa first, two cups of yuzu in hand. "Think we did okay?"
Oikawa looks over at him, smiling in a skittish way, before accepting the drink. "I think," he takes a sip. "We did better than okay."
"Stellar endorsement from The Great King," Daichi teases. "Want to do it all over again next year?"
"There won't be a next year," Oikawa reminds him, an inflexion of something to his tone.
"Ah," Daichi blinks, and then: "Right."
Oikawa bumps shoulders with him. "But there's still be the next spring, and summer, and winter."
"Tsukishima might actually kill me if I even suggest we do something like this out in the cold," Daichi is quick to stop him. "Like actually kill me this time I think."
"Kageyama doesn't do well during winters either," Oikawa finds himself saying almost reflexively.
Daichi catches on, because of course he does. "Right," he says, smirking knowingly. “Of course.”
Oikawa blinks, unable to look at him. "R-right," he coughs awkwardly, before gesturing to the rest of the crowd. "Well then. Just as long as you stop threatening to make fishermen out of my players, I guess we can clear our schedule for you."
"And just as long as you stop trying to claim my first years as yours," Daichi's spread grins wider. "Then we would be more than happy to do this with you all over again, Oikawa-san."

AU where Minori gets an on-screen character arc after Mogami.
She still attends her current school, but she ends up meeting Mob again somehow and starts heading to his school after school to watch him do Body Improvement Club things and hang out. After getting familiar with "poor people" school, she starts using her dad's money to improve the school, but she doesn't tell her dad but everyone is assuming it's her dad writing the checks 'cause his name is on it. Cue her father showing up, wanting to know how they even got access to his money in order to "steal it" and the adults who work at the school are freaking out because he's threatening to have people arrested or sued, and Minori shows up to hang on campus only to recognize the limo outside the school and panics. She finds her dad and begs him to stop making a scene because she's afraid of what Mob'll say if he finds out. Mob has no idea that Minori wasn't given permission to use her dad's money that way, so when he sees Mr. Asigiri, he thanks him for all he's "donated" to the school, and Mr. Asigiri of course recognizes Mob and starts backpedaling because it's the boy who saved his daughter.
"Of course, uh, anything for . . . ?"
"Shigeo Kageyama," Minori pipes in.
"Yes, anything for Kageyama-kun."
Mob smiles really big and blushes a little but thanks him again. After Mob leaves, Minori's dad says he'll talk to her later and then apologizes to the school staff and calls his lawyers off. After that, Minori isn't allowed to use the checkbook at all, but he does ask her if she wants to transfer schools so she can be with Mob more often, and she takes him up on that.
She's trying her best to be a better person, and she and Mob hang out and become friends, but unsavory rumors start circulating around the school. Minori is able to handle the ones about her, but the moment she overhears someone talking shit about Mob, she loses her temper and physically kicks their ass. Tsubomi walks by and decides to intervene, so she grabs Minori to pull her off of the girls she's beating up, and Minori, without thinking about it, throws a punch at Tsubomi's face and nails her right in the nose. Minori and Tsubomi haven't met yet, and Minori has no idea about her connection to Mob. The fight keeps going until Ritsu, as student council member, shows up after discovering the fight and, wanting to avoid getting himself hurt while rescuing Tsubomi, tries to use his psychic powers on Minori, which is not appreciated at all. Minori keeps making a scene, and Dimple is just hanging around the school/Ritsu today, so Ritsu ends up asking if Dimple could possess her for a bit just so they can guarantee no one is going to get hurt anymore, and Dimple agrees. The non-possessed kids discuss whether they should get an adult, but Shigeo, who has been running with the club today, runs by and senses that something is wrong, so he comes over and immediately can sense that Dimple is in Minori, and he gets angry over it, yelling at Dimple to get out of Minori right now, and Dimple obeys, and Dimple tries to protect himself by saying Ritsu told him to do it, which is true. Minori starts crying once she's no longer possessed, and she's covered in scratches and bruises, so Mob pulls her into a hug and tells her that it's okay, he's here now. The two girls Minori was beating up lie about getting attacked unprovoked, and Ritsu points out that Tsubomi's nose is broken, but Mob is still on the possession thing and is angry at Dimple, then angry at Ritsu when Ritsu claims being possessed isn't that big a deal, then Mob gets angry enough that he snaps at them that Minori is a former client of his and that as a result she's been punished enough.
It's really dramatic in my head, but I don't have the time to write a proper fan fiction. But I like the idea of Mob and Minori being protective of each other, and Mob walking her home or having her for dinner at his place, and maybe Minori's dad takes the whole Kageyama family out to dinner. Mob x Minori with background Ritsu x Tsubomi and probably one-sided MobTeru where Teru does have this huge crush on Mob, then Teru meets Minori and realizes he and her have a lot in common, but it's her who gets to hold Mob's hand.
idk, in my head, it's all cool and romantic and stuff. I just wanted to get it out there since I won't be writing it properly.

Neon, do you mind, if I ask your opinion on this post https://www.tumblr.com/hxhhasmysoul/729291653862621184/i-disagree-with-his-isolation-being-self-imposed ?
Mainly I don't agree with this post, but what do you think?
Also, sorry if I'm wrong in calling you "Neon". I don't mean to be rude. Can I ask, what to call you?
No need to apologize! I love that you guys call me Neon, I enjoy it. The thought that someone wants to refer to me by a name when they address me is really endearing, I don't know if that makes any sense. Neon, Scandal, Randall, whatever else you come up with - all are perfectly fine by me. 💜
GOJO
Regarding OP, there were some parts I'd say were maybe a little off base? but ultimately up for interpretation; however their characterization of Gojo is largely accurate, in my opinion. A few things here and there that I wasn't sure what they meant (like Kannon? but I know I make so many grammar/spelling mistakes in my rants so I get it).
Everything after the ATLA quote, in particular, is pretty rock solid. The section re: Gojo's isolation and comparison to Kageyama Shigeo is really interesting but, in my opinion, not quite apples to apples when, in universe, we've seen other examples of this extreme isolation caused by strength with Kashimo, Sukuna, and Yorozu (well, she tried, search Yorozu in link). Considering this, I wouldn't say it's a happenstance of Gojo's personality even though we can understand how it was cultivated within him specifically. There's also an inherent difference between socialization and being intrinsically understood which is what Gojo yearns for.
I say off base above but that's not the right sentiment. This poster has personal IRL experience that informs a bit of their interpretation in the section Gojou vs Megumi but that doesn't invalidate their opinion. If anything, it probably provides a greater, more authentic insight that other viewers, myself included, do not have access to which they don't necessarily have to disclose. This isn't an on par comparison but helps to explain what I might be having trouble articulating. I recently shared a video about listening to queer people about queer coding in media. That can be extended to other identities and experiences wherein the overarching idea is to listen to people who have experienced or are X, whatever X is, because their insight informs the validity of what they see in a character through coding, symbolism, pattern recognition, etc. So I don't outright disagree with them, I just lack understanding which is okay and doesn't, in any way, take away from their assessment but should perhaps temper my own.
Canonically, I think some bits in that section weren't entirely accurate, though
According to Gojo's recollection, he started to tell Megumi about killing his dad but Megumi cut him off having written his father off some time ago. Re: Megumi's recollection, he'd already tuned Gojo out anyway. I've said it a few times but maintain that this will boomerang back in a way that hurts so we're in agreement there.
I can't say this is based in canon so I'm calling that out now but the only thing that I do outright disagree with is as it pertains to Gojo "forgetting" he was fighting Megumi. Readers shouldn't always be influenced by the observations of characters in the story because even they are watching the story unfold. I expect some grand scheme/plot coming to light.
Re: Six Eyes + Limitless vs. Ten Shadows, knowing their mutually assured destruction, if Gojo were really worried about a reckoning, he could have just not told Megumi that that was even a possibility. Megumi is so unmotivated and, perhaps, insecure that I doubt the thought would have come to him at all so intimating that information had another purpose. Hell, at this point I guess we've seen it, no?
Even though I love Gojo as a character, I largely echo similar sentiments, I just don't proffer them as harshly (given the setting of the story) or, perhaps, I lightly romanticize or provide context for the "why" which softens or glosses over it. Like, even in the lovey dovey post I made listing out all of the saddest things about SatoSugu, I mention that Gojo prioritizes evening the score with Toji as opposed to avenging Riko in that deliberate order. Gojo is no angel and my affinity for him doesn't preclude me or anyone else from identifying his flaws and less than altruistic motives.
As I've said previously, I don't particularly care about other people's interpretation of a character or story as it doesn't impede my enjoyment. Subsequently, OP's fan/fandom inspired hate of a character was a bit outside my experience as perfect strangers won't taint something for me out of pure hateration lol When I first started reading it I was like... oh, brother.. it's gonna be one of those so I wouldn't be surprised if other people have trouble acknowledging their accuracy just because they let the intro sour their ability to read/learn/listen.
TL,DNR: Despite OP's very clear disdain, they objectively made accurate points that could help to temper other people's interpretation of Gojo's character who over idealize him.
Put down your pitchforks, you can keep your soft Gojo head canons and the like (and I'll keep mine ✨). But if you're interested in accuracy, the above is my opinion.
Fans and antis alike have a tendency to project way too much on Gojo which is funny because, as that writer pointed out, he exists within the context of this story. What you love, what you hate are still symptoms of the societal conditions that created him. He doesn't exist in a vacuum and he's not the only character who is flawed but, man, does he attract as much hate in fandom as he does in universe. Isn't that a microcosm of a phenomenon?? Still doesn't detract from the validity of OP's assessment of him.
Gojo is an impudent, selfish, awkward brat whose naivete allowed him to gamble on the fate of the world when he was a kid. He lost the one person he felt he connected with/understood and carved out a "master plan" befitting a 17 year old long into his 20's wherein even his good deeds carried the shadow of an ulterior motive (mind the title for the off the wall-ness of some of those theories..). I wish I could find the tumblr post where someone called him a lameass loser because that, too, was spot on and I feel like I reblogged it enthusiastically. We love him in spite of this. I still sympathize and identify with him which probably says way too much about me, actually 😅
SUKUNA
While this is a starkly shorter section compared to the above, I focused on Gojo since I think that was namely where your question was focused; however, OP made a really stunning observation regarding Sukuna and Uraume in comparison to Gojo and Ijichi which I totally missed.
But Uraume never seems worried that Sukuna might act erratically towards them because his mood is unpredictable. When they meet for the first time in the modern era they are both so genuinely happy to see each other. Sukuna immediately offers them words of reassurance. He always praises their work and their efforts even when Uraume themself is not happy with their performance. They totally just vibe with each other, like when the go mean girls on Yuuji when he breaks out of the ice. Sukuna is a mean, violent, murderous asshole. But the one person he appreciates has absolutely no doubt about it.
That is a solid hint of Sukuna's humanity that betrays his villainy. Here I thought he was just getting interesting in these last few pensive chapters where he's coming to terms with why he's been so insistent about belittling Yuji! Meanwhile, Uraume was the first indication.
Thank you for asking, anon. I'm sorry if I disappointed you but maybe the "spoonful of sugar" as relayed here helps from presumably one Gojo fan to another. I'm curious to know what you may have disagreed with (I don't take issue either way). Just because I'm unbothered doesn't mean other people's opinions don't influence my own so I'm always down to read your thoughts!

-Last Time-
After it’s cleaned up you feel a tap on your shoulder. Slowly opening your eyes and moving your hands away from your ears, you look at the person.
“Suga?”
“Are you okay?” He asks worriedly
“Y-Yea, I just don’t do well with vomit.” You explain while sheepishly rubbing the back of your neck and chuckling. ‘So cute’ Suga thinks while blushing.
“HOW DARE YOU MAKE OUR ANGEL UNCOMFORTABLE!!” Tanaka scolds.
“Hinata you moron!” Kageyama yells.
“I’m so sorry (Y/N)!!” Hinata yells while bowing at a 90-degree angle. “I didn’t mean to!”
“It’s okay Hinata, you didn't know. I’m more worried about you.” You say while walking up to him. “Are you feeling okay?” You put your hand on his forehead. At this action, Hinata bursts into a blush that could rival a tomato. “You’re burning up!” You scream. “Oh boy, we need to get you some medicine! I think I have some in my bag!” As you begin frantically looking in your bag you don’t realize that you're being stared at. The cause of those stares is the three boys who aren't being fussed over. They all have a similar thought, ‘Hinata you lucky bastard’
-Friday After School-
“Move your feet more, not just your hands!” Kageyama scolds Hinata as you watch the two work on the shorter ones receiving skills. ‘This isn’t going to end well.’ you think as you see Hinata begin to daydream. Kageyama seems to notice this as well but before you can say anything the ball hits Hinata straight in the face.
“Quit daydreaming and concentrate!” Kageyama yells as you sigh and walk up to them. “Tomorrow is the 3-on-3!”
“I know that! Tomorrow we will win and be let back into the gym!” Hinata replies.
“Then you guys can finally practice with your team!” You add cheerfully. Your statement causes both to stop and look at you weirdly. “What?”
“What do you mean ‘our’ team?” Hinata asks. “They’re your team too.”
You freeze. ‘My team too…’ you think while looking down. ‘It’s been a while since I’ve been able to say something like that.’ A few seconds later you lift your head to look at the two in front of you. “Yeah, you’re right!” You say with a huge smile and tears in your eyes. Seeing the tears causes them to freak out. Hinata keeps apologizing while Kageyama yells at him, occasionally yelling ‘Boke Hinata Boke!’ You smile at them fondly. ‘My team…’
-Meanwhile in Gymnasium 2-
*Yawn*
*Yawn*
“You two seem sleepy.” Daichi says, suddenly appearing behind them. Tensing, both Suga and Tanaka realize they’ve been caught. Quickly turning around they begin to defend themselves.
“I guess I’ve just been studying too much.” Suga explains while rubbing his neck.
“Y-Yeah me too!” Tanaka blurts out. Daichi doesn’t look the least bit convinced.
“It doesn’t sound as good coming from you!” Suga whispers to the second year beside him.
“Wha-!”
“Anyway… now that you’re here I’d like to introduce the other first years that are joining the club.”
“Nice to meet you!” Two voices call out, one being a bit more enthusiastic than the other.
-Back to You-
“Now look at what you’ve done!” Kageyama scolds.
“ME?! I told you to go easy since we’re outside!” Hinata defends.
“Hinata does have a point.” You speak up.
“Well maybe if you could receive it properly this wouldn't be a problem!” Kageyama retorts toward Hinata.
“And… I’m ignored…” You say rolling your eyes and going to get the volleyball out of the tree. Tuning out the argument you’re about to pick up a stick to hit the ball with but Kageyama beats you to it. Sighing, you follow the boys back to your places to continue the practice. Just before you are about to begin something… or someone stops you.

It’s over.
Shoyo’s heart clenched at the hurt resignation lining the man's wilting form. He’d done that to him. This was his fault. “It's not over!” he pleaded, “It's not! It hasn't been a year yet! We still have time together, I could’ve stayed home after taking the flowers to my family, but I came back, for you. I just…I couldn’t stand not knowing anymore."
"Why?" the man demanded. "Why now?! It's been months, we got so fucking close—” His voice caught on a breathless sob as he pressed the heels of his hands to his eyes. “A month! We just had a month! Why—?" He choked off, hands falling from his eyes to stare at Shoyo, the ire in his gaze intensifying with the realization washing over his features. "This happened after you went home. Why?"
"I…I just…" Shoyo was startled to feel tears on his cheek, and he rubbed them away with rough hands. "I don't know anything about you! I didn't understand how bad it was until I realized that I couldn't tell my family anything about you. I don't know your name, I don't know what your life was like before all of this, nothing!"
"That's bullshit, I've told you about myself—"
"I know you, Okami-san. But I can't tell my family about your favorite curry, or how much you love your sister, or how kissing you makes me feel invincible." Some part of him, deep inside, took comfort in the way the man's eyes softened, just a bit.
"My mom kept asking questions that I didn't have answers to, and don't tell me that I could've lied!" Shoyo ordered before the man could even open his mouth. "You've met her, and you know I'm a terrible liar. I swear I didn’t say anything, I kept my promise, but I couldn’t think of answers to her questions, and…that’s how she figured everything out. She’s the one who gave me the candle. And I resisted using it, I did, until Nee-san came and reminded me of how little I know about either of you, and that I didn't know why. You wouldn't even tell me why! So I thought that I could at least see your face. I deserved that much, to see who I was doing this all for. Please, Okami-san…” He set the candle aside, sat back on his heels, and bent forward until his forehead touched his hands where they were pressed against the floor. “I didn't know. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.”
Silence fell and lingered, stretching on until Shoyo was aching with the temptation to look up. But he held his dogeza, and finally, he heard soft steps approaching him. A calloused hand found his chin and pressed up, until Shoyo had no choice but to lift his head and meet hauntingly dark blue eyes. They were only things that felt familiar out of his whole face, and Shoyo clung to that, even as his eyes flickered over the rest of the man’s body where he knelt.
“…Don’t apologize,” the man eventually muttered, “you’re right. It wasn’t fair of me to keep you in the dark for so long, after everything you’ve done. We just…we got so close.”
“I know. I’m sorry.” He felt strangely meek in front of the man's human form, with his straight posture and the casual command lining his body. Who…who was he? His stature belied the initial awkwardness he’d had in their first few weeks, even months, together. "M-maybe…maybe I can make it up!"
"Don't, Sho."
"We still have a month, I could—"
"Don't!" The firm word startled Shoyo into silence, letting the man mutter, "I meant what I said. It's over. The year, the deal, all of it. It stopped mattering the second you lit that candle and looked at me."
"I don't…I don't understand, what do you mean? The year isn't over, we were supposed to have a year!"
Confusion stained his desperation when the man screwed his eyes shut and let out a deep sigh. “I guess I can tell you now,” he murmured after a beat. “I was cursed. If you’d lasted one more month without seeing my face, then the curse would’ve been broken. I would’ve stopped transforming, I could’ve gone back home, back to my life…”
The grief falling over the man’s face was dwarfed by the devastating guilt choking off Shoyo’s air. A month. One month, and it would’ve been over. One month, and they could’ve returned to their lives, could’ve begun to build a new one together.
It was all Shoyo’s fault. No amount of reassurance would change that. And so, despite what the man had commanded before, Shoyo whispered, “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t,” the man predictably scolded. “You messed up, but so did I. I wasn’t allowed to explain the curse to you, but I could’ve…I dunno, I could’ve figured out a way to answer your questions without revealing everything. This wasn’t fair to you.”
“It’s not fair to you, either.”
The man didn’t respond beyond a sigh, wilting where he knelt until his forehead rested against Shoyo’s. "I wish you'd trusted me," he whispered, words trembling, "I know why you didn’t. I know it wasn't fair. But I thought…I thought that, with how strange everything else was, you could at least trust me. This all would've been over if you'd just trusted me."
An apology rose to Shoyo's lips, but he bit it back. He knew it was futile. Nothing would change what he'd done. And no amount of insisting how much he loved and cared about the man would make up for the fact that he hadn't trusted him in a way that mattered.
There was no fixing his mistake. All he could ask was, "...What happens now?"
"I don't know." The man's eyes fluttered open as he pulled away, pinning Shoyo under a gaze full of grief and exhaustion and, worst of all, fear. "I don't know what happens if I try and fail to break the curse. Maybe I'll be stuck as a wolf forever, or maybe I'll be taken away for the rest of my life. I don't know. I'm…I'm scared, Sho."
The soft admission twisted something in Shoyo’s chest, and before he could rethink his move, his hand came up to cup a faintly stubbly cheek. He nearly jerked away immediately, but then the man leaned into his touch with a quiet sigh and shuttered eyes.
The sight of those eyes fluttering open again to gaze at him from under messy black hair tugged at something in Shoyo's memory, something beyond the awe of the man’s beauty. He was handsome, yes, but he was also so familiar, in a way that couldn’t be explained away by Shoyo’s familiarity with his wolf form nor his sister. “Okami-san,” he whispered, “who are you?”
The laugh that huffed out of the man was humorless, a bitter complement to the sad curve of his lips. “You already know me."
“Yeah? We’ve been living together for—”
“Dumbass, not like that.” His flippant words were in sharp contrast to the way he pulled Shoyo’s hand from his cheek and held tight to it. “I mean…you already knew me.”
“What—?”
“My name’s Tobio.”
Shoyo’s face creased with confusion. Tobio…Tobio…why did that sound so familiar?
When recognition didn't hit him, the man let out a soft huff and continued, "My name is Tobio, and when I was little, my favorite thing to do was sneak into samurai training and spar with an annoying little tangerine of a boy."
Realization hit him like a boulder, making his face go slack with shock just as the man—no, Tobio—chanced a look at him. “You…that was you? Why couldn’t I remember your—oh.” Shoyo’s guilt was suddenly crested by pure mortification. “Oh, no. Spirits, I…I told you about—shit!”
“About what?” A small, teasing grin tugged at Tobio's lips, like a ray of sunlight breaking through the clouds of his grief. “About falling in love with me?”
Shoyo couldn’t get annoyed. He was too busy untangling their fingers so he could bury his face in his hands. “That’s so— I’m— you didn’t say anything, you ass!”
He put up a half-hearted resistance against Tobio’s attempts to pull his hands away, only to give up completely at the sound of a real laugh. How could he resist the chance to see those lovely lips spread into the warmest smile he’d ever seen?
“I couldn’t say anything!” Tobio was saying as he managed to tug Shoyo’s hands from his face and hold them tight. “I couldn’t risk you knowing what I looked like. But I wanted to, Sho, it killed me that I couldn’t tell you. The curse wouldn’t let me.”
It made sense, but Shoyo didn't want to admit that out loud. Besides, he had a more important question: "What happened to you? Why did you stop coming to training?"
"Ah…I was sent away to complete my own training." A frown flickered over his sweet lips, as though he were being forbidden from samurai training all over again. "My grandfather wanted me to focus on training to take over the…the family trade."
Curiosity pricked at Shoyo. But before he could ask about the "family trade," Tobio's frown melted into quiet longing. "I missed you so much. Everyday, I thought about sneaking back to see you. Sometimes, when training got really hard, I imagined you were with me and pushing me to work harder."
He bundled Shoyo’s hands into one of his own—Shoyo valiantly tried to ignore the pulse of heat that went through him at the sight of his hands being so easily dwarfed—to brush the backs of his knuckles against Shoyo’s cheek in a heartachingly tender touch. “I’ve known it was you since the start, since before the start. I wanted to tell you who I was, tell you how I felt about you, but I couldn’t. If…if I’d known telling you who I was would’ve kept you from lighting the candle, I would’ve told you when the year began.”
A thrill shot up Shoyo’s spine, even as he felt like he was drowning in those eyes and his own resurfacing guilt. “You recognized me?”
“How could I not? I fell in love with you, dumbass. And between your hair and how loud you are, you're pretty easy to notice in a crowd.”
Despite the taunting words and his indignant flush, Shoyo still felt the knot in his gut begin to loosen at the fondness glittering through the hurt in Tobio’s eyes. “It’s not my fault you always—”
Realization choked him off, the pieces of the puzzle rearranging themselves into an ugly picture. “You…did you plan this?” he asked, his stomach twisting tighter with every word.
Tobio blinked. “What?”
“Did you plan this?” Shoyo repeated, much firmer this time. He rose to his feet, panicked betrayal making him pace as his throat tightened. “You remembered who I was. You knew me from before. Did you…did you pick me because you hoped I would fall in love with you again? You took me from my work, from my family, all to—” His words caught on the lump in his throat. He’d thought…he’d thought what they had was pure, real, untouched by the curse or the illness or any of the strange circumstances they were caught in. But the thought of Tobio knowingly orchestrating this somehow…deliberately seeking out Shoyo and waiting for the chance to offer a deal…
“What? No!” Tobio scrambled to his feet and tugged his robe back on, but he didn’t make any move to come closer. Some part of Shoyo was grateful for that—he couldn’t be sure that he wouldn’t lash out if Tobio tried to touch him. “No, I swear, I didn’t plan for any of this. I thought I would be stuck with this curse forever. How can a talking wolf convince someone to leave their life for a year? But then I overheard you and your mother talking about the flowers, and I realized that I could make the journey. I could give you what you needed. This could be an exchange, instead of me just…taking a year of your life.”
He took a slow step towards Shoyo, and Shoyo took a step back, his eyes stinging with tears. “Shoyo…,” Tobio pleaded, his voice softer with entreaty, “I didn’t want any of this to happen. It would have been so, so much easier to keep pretending I didn’t know you and live as only friends. I should’ve known that would be impossible. I couldn’t keep myself from falling for you before. I don’t know why I thought I could do it this time.”
“Don’t…don’t flatter me,” Shoyo mumbled, still holding himself back. Every nerve in his body ached to fall back into Tobio’s arms, to let his eyes drink him in as hungrily as his hands had for the past several months.
In the short time he’d been able to see Tobio’s human form, he couldn’t shake the feeling that he was looking at an heir. It was etched in his posture, the quiet confidence in his voice, the steadiness of his eyes. But now, in just these few moments, all of that had melted into desperation and guilt. His shoulders were curved in, his hands were hesitant, and his eyes searched desperately for something in Shoyo’s gaze. “I’m not,” he croaked now. “It’s not flattery. It’s the truth. I didn’t…I didn’t want to fall for you. Not like this.”
He took another step towards him, and this time, Shoyo let him. He stood tall and raised his chin, trying to stare down at Tobio despite him looming over Shoyo. But his lips trembled, no matter how tightly he pressed them together, and he could feel a sob clawing its way up his throat.
Tobio didn’t touch Shoyo when he finally stood in front of him. He just…gazed at him, and Shoyo stared back, greedily drinking in his features despite everything. Even in the faint, flickering light of the candle, he was the most handsome person Shoyo had ever seen.
He didn’t know how to reconcile this…this beautiful man with the quiet voice and gentle touches he’d fallen in love with in the dark, or with the wolf who had kept him company and offered comfort, or with the grumpy, bratty boy who had demanded the very best from him. It made it easier to hold onto his panic and sense of betrayal as he grappled with whether or not he was telling the truth.
Then those lovely lips parted, and in a soft voice that reminded Shoyo of whispered confessions and gasped pleas, Tobio breathed, “Shoyo.”
That was it. Shoyo broke. A sob heaved out of the bottom of his lungs, and he felt tears begin to run down his cheeks as Tobio rested their foreheads together with a soft sigh. “You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” he whispered, “and the biggest inconvenience to my heart.”
“You don’t get to say that,” Shoyo complained with a wet laugh.
“No,” Tobio agreed sheepishly, “I don’t.”
Shoyo’s fingers clung to Tobio’s robes at his waist as he sighed and leaned in more, letting their noses brush and their lips ghost against each other. “You’re my favorite inconvenience,” he murmured on a shuddering breath, smiling despite himself.
Tobio laughed, a light brush of air against Shoyo’s cheeks. “Mine, too.” He leaned in to touch his lips to Shoyo’s, the contact so light, so hesitant, that Shoyo could hear the unspoken ask for permission.
He gave it easily, tilting his chin for a proper kiss. It was quick and chaste and made his heart feel too big for his chest. It made him remember one of the lines his father used on his mother, a line that had made him and Natsu groan when they were little, but that he now felt the full meaning of. “You’re my whole heart, Okami-san…Tobio.”
He could hear Tobio’s breath catch, before he repeated in a whisper, “Mine, too. I’m sorry, Sho.”
“Why’re you apologizing?” He pulled away to meet Tobio’s eyes, heart clenching at the tears shining at him. “Oh…,” he breathed, cupping his face and brushing his thumbs along his dark, damp lashes, “what happened, Tobio?” Saying that name again after so long felt surreal, but he had to focus. “Who did this…all of this to you?”
Tobio swallowed hard as he took Shoyo’s hands and quietly brought him back to the futon, kneeling in silent invitation. “It…it was an accident,” he murmured once Shoyo sat in front of him, “a stupid accident. That’s what caused all this.”
Everything in Shoyo burned to verbally urge him to keep talking, but he could see him searching for the right words. So he stayed quiet, only encouraging him with a squeeze of his hands.
“I was 16,” Tobio eventually said, “when it happened. I was allowed to go hunting with my own party for the first time, without my grandfather or tutors supervising. It was all I’d ever wanted growing up, and I was…I was desperate to prove that I’d earned that independence. I didn’t want them to regret it, especially my grandfather.
“It started out fine. Great, even. We set up camp early in the morning, and spent the day hunting for our lunch and dinner. We’d heard word of more wolves being around than usual, but I still managed to shoot down a deer, and that fed most of the party for lunch. I was so proud of myself, until one of the other boys shot down a wolf that had been drawn in by the smell. Suddenly he was getting all of the praise and attention for protecting the party, and I…I was 16. I was stupid, egotistical, and jealous. I felt like he’d stolen the glory I got for feeding the party.”
He let out a slow breath, though it did nothing to smooth away the furrow between his brows. “I didn’t mean to act on that. I wasn’t planning on it. What were the chances of us seeing another wolf, anyway? But then, when we headed back out, I was allowed to go off on my own. And that’s when I saw it: this big, beautiful, dark brown wolf.
“It didn’t notice me at first. It was too busy drinking from the river. But when it did, it didn’t…do anything. It didn’t snarl or try to attack. It didn’t even look upset. It just looked at me, huffed, and turned away.”
Tobio’s fingers shook around Shoyo’s, only stilling when Shoyo gave them another steadying squeeze. “I told myself I did it to protect the party from another potential attacker. But that wasn’t it. I think I was just…I dunno, insulted by how easily it ignored me. Like it didn’t think I was worth worrying about, like I didn’t pose any sort of danger. My ego was so bruised that I didn’t stop to think about how weird it was for a wild wolf to act like that. I didn’t think at all. I just aimed an arrow and fired at its heart.”
Shoyo felt his own heart crawl up to his throat. “Did you…?”
“Yeah. A perfect shot.” Tobio let out a humorless laugh. “Just like I’d always been taught. The wolf fell behind some bushes, so I couldn’t see it, but I could hear its pants and whines. It was in pain, and I wanted to shoot it again, just to end its suffering. So I started walking towards it, and I got close enough to hear when…when its sounds changed.”
His fingers tightened almost painfully, but Shoyo didn’t budge or make a sound. He was too focused on the anguish and regret creasing Tobio’s face. “It didn’t sound like a wolf anymore…it sounded like a man. A man in pain. There was a flash of light just as I stepped past the bushes, and when I could see again, I didn’t see a wolf. I saw two men: one was in a kimono and the other was naked and bleeding all over the lap of the kimono, with my arrow stuck in his chest. The man in the kimono’s hand was glowing with magic, and he had it over the other man’s wound, and they were speaking to each other.
“I don’t know how long I stood there. I don’t know how long the first man tried to heal the second. But eventually the second man pulled the first man’s glowing hand away and held it to his lips. And then he…the man I shot, he…he died.
“That's when the first man started screaming.” Tobio’s eyes screwed shut, as though he were hearing the screams at that moment. “I…I’ve never heard grief like that before. And then he looked at me, and I…” A shudder went through him, and the light of the candle flickered over his heaving chest. “I didn’t know I could ever do something to earn that sort of rage. I thought he would set me on fire with just his eyes.
“He looked at me, me and my bow and arrows, and said, ‘You did this.’ He asked me if I was proud of myself, killing an innocent man, being a murderer. Asked me if I knew what I’d done, who I’d taken from him.”
Tobio’s voice was hollow as he recited the words, but Shoyo felt fear creep cold and quiet through him. “He didn’t let the other man go the whole time. He just…knelt there, called me a spoiled child, said I probably haven’t faced a consequence in my life. My short, sorry life. But he wanted to be the first to give one to me.”
“Oh,” Shoyo breathed, “then he…he…”
“He cursed me.” Tobio’s eyes relaxed open to meet Shoyo’s wide gaze. The pain and regret in his dark depths made Shoyo ache with the longing to go back in time and save him somehow. “I had to find someone to live with me for a year and let me sleep next to them without ever seeing my human face. That would require the kind of trust that would be impossible for a murderer like me to find, especially as a wolf.
“I didn’t say anything, couldn’t say anything. By the time I would’ve asked him what he meant, he’d already transformed me and told me that until I could meet those terms, I’d be cursed to be a wolf by day and a human at night. And then he was gone. I was forced to escape the hunting party and survive on my own for a month. I didn’t have anything except my bow, arrows, and the clothes I was wearing.
“By the time he found me again, I had managed to make my way here, and I was sleeping under the engawa because I didn’t have the keys to the house. He was the one who unlocked everything, and he gave me the bracelets for whoever I convinced to live with me. He said I should be grateful he was even helping me that much. And the thing is…I was. I couldn’t understand why he was helping me, but I didn’t question it. I was too scared to ask.”
Something from months ago pricked at Shoyo’s memory. “That’s why you said you couldn’t remember,” he breathed, “when I asked you if you looked like your sister. If you were 16, then…six years? You’ve been like this for six years?”
Tobio didn’t say anything, just rested his forehead against their joined hands and nodded weakly.
Six years…six years to finally get a shot at breaking the curse, and Shoyo had ruined it. And they’d been so close, too. “I’m sorry,” he gasped, bringing his hands to Tobio’s cheeks and making him meet his eyes. “I’m sorry, Okami-san…Tobio, I’m so sorry, I didn’t— I didn’t know, I should’ve listened—”
“Don’t, don’t cry,” Tobio said, as though his eyes weren’t also welling up, “don’t, Sho, you couldn’t have known.”
Shoyo didn’t care. His guilt didn’t care. It still weighed heavy in his stomach like a rock, until it shifted inside him as he flung his arms around Tobio and held him tight.
The tender embrace undid him, undid them both. With a sob, Tobio buried his face into Shoyo’s shoulder and held him tight around his waist, pulling him closer and closer until Shoyo had to fit himself in his lap and press his tear-soaked face into dark hair.
“Whatever happens,” Tobio choked out, his words muffled in Shoyo’s robes, “whatever happens, I’m glad it was you. I don’t care about the curse, Sho, it doesn’t matter. This year was still worth it.”
“Don’t say that,” Shoyo hissed. “I’ll fix this, I’ll figure out a way. I’ll fight that sorcerer if I have to.”
That earned him a wet laugh. “Dumbass, you can’t fight Oikawa. You don’t know what he can do.”
“I don’t care—”
“I do.” Tobio pulled away and looked Shoyo in the eye, his bloodshot eyes eerie in his firm focus. “You can’t put yourself in danger like that. Whatever he does, you have to let it happen. Okay?”
“Tobio—”
“Promise me, Sho.”
“I can’t,” Shoyo cried, “I can’t promise that, you can’t ask me to promise that. How am I supposed to let you go?”
A sad smile pushed at Tobio’s tear-stained cheeks as he rested a hand against Shoyo’s cheek. “You have to. You’ve done it before.”
“Because I didn’t know you were leaving! We were so young and I didn’t know you would disappear and…and this was supposed to be different, Tobio. We were supposed to finish this together. It’s my fault we didn’t, and now I have to fix it.”
“Dammit, you…you stubborn dumbass,” Tobio groaned, despite the smile still on his lips. “Why can’t you let me protect you?”
“I’m a samurai, stupid,” Shoyo laughed through his tears, “I’m the one who should do the protecting.”
“I don’t want you to protect me.”
Tobio’s eyes flickered over Shoyo’s face, like he was trying to memorize it. It was all too similar to how his mother and sister looked at him before his pilgrimages to Edo, and Shoyo hated it. “Don’t look at me like that.”
“Like what?”
“Like you’ll never see me again.” Shoyo took his face in his hands again, squishing his cheeks a bit, just because he could. “You’re mine, Tobio, and I’m yours. As long as you want me, you’ll have me.”
“Yeah? What if I want you forever?”
Only he could make a confession that sweet sound so competitive. Shoyo loved him so much. “Then I’m yours forever. I mean it, you can’t get rid of me that easily.”
The smile that pulled at Tobio’s lips was small, but effused warmth. “Good.”
Oh…oh, Shoyo couldn’t believe he’d gone so long without this, without seeing those dark eyes glitter like they contained stars, or those cheeks flush so sweet, or those lips smile so warm. He could spend the next eternity soaking in every detail of those impossibly handsome features, learning every flicker of emotion and matching them to what he’d spent the last year learning in the dark.
“Hey.”
“Hm?”
“Don’t look at me like that.”
Shoyo frowned at Tobio’s teasing grin, despite the affection blooming within him that matched the affection in those eyes. Within one night, he was already learning to read his face so well. “I have an excuse,” Shoyo grumbled, giving a light pinch to Tobio’s cheeks. “I didn’t get to see you this whole time. I have to make up for lost time.”
“Dumbass,” Tobio scoffed. But he didn’t pull away from Shoyo’s hold, and when Shoyo began tracing his fingertips over his face the way he had so many times in the dark, he could see Tobio’s eyes widen and his teasing features relax into solemnity.
He really was the most beautiful man Shoyo had ever seen. He was objectively handsome, of course he was, but it wasn’t just that. It was the sharp edge to his nighttime gaze. It was the downward set of his soft lips when he was fully relaxed. It was the silken hair Shoyo had come to know so well between his fingertips, and that fell so perfectly past strong brows. It was the way his proud, handsome features softened when he looked at Shoyo with so much love.
“Tobio.”
“Hm?”
“Tobio.”
“Yeah?”
“I just…like saying it,” Shoyo hummed in an echo of the first time Tobio had said his given name.
“I like hearing it.”
“Really?” A cheeky grin curled Shoyo's lip when he saw apprehension crease between Tobio’s brows. “You like it better than Okami-san?”
“Yeah, dumbass, I like my own name better than ‘Mr. Wolf,’” Tobio snorted. “I can’t believe I fell for you when you called me that.”
With a chuckle, Shoyo brushed a kiss to Tobio’s lips. “I fell for you even though you didn’t let me see you. I don’t think ‘Mr. Wolf’ is so bad compared to that.”
“That’s not— that doesn’t—” He gave up with a low growl. “Just shut up and kiss me, dumbass.”
Gladly.
Their kisses were slow, lazy, and tender, almost obscene in how much they relished each drag of their lips. It stoked a heat in Shoyo that made his hands wander down Tobio’s loosened robe, but that was it. He was content with slow kisses and gentle touches, was content with being able to finally let his eyes open to see kiss-swollen lips and a heavy gaze.
He let himself be laid back down on the futon, let his legs be parted to welcome Tobio between them. But he didn’t feel a need for anything more. They just…kissed, and touched, and held each other close. And it was enough. They were enough.
At some point they drifted to sleep, with Tobio barely remembering to blow out the candle. With sleep came a reminder of the unknown of morning, of how uneasy this joy was. In the morning everything would change. In the morning they could be parted forever.
Except they wouldn’t be parted, not forever. Shoyo wouldn’t allow it.
For the first time, when his eyes fluttered open, he wasn’t alone. Tobio was still laying next to him, already awake and silently watching him. He could also see faint light beginning to slip through the cracks in the window shutters, making dread settle in his chest. “Hi,” he murmured, keeping his voice low out of habit more than anything.
“Hi.” A small smile danced over Tobio’s lips, only to melt away as his eyes flickered to the window and back to Shoyo. “I don’t know if I should be here.”
“Because you don’t know if you’ll turn back into a wolf?”
Tobio silently nodded.
Shoyo let out a slow breath. “Okay…okay. Well…can we watch the sunrise together? Before whatever happens…happens?”
Tobio’s eyes widened for a moment, before softening as his lips twitched into a minuscule smile. “Yeah.”
The morning light was still murky and gray as they made their way to the engawa. Somehow, Tobio still looked breathtaking, even in the cool light. Shoyo almost couldn’t bear to look away as Tobio got settled on one of the stairs leading up to the porch and looked back with a pat on the step above him. But the allure of holding him close and warm won out, and soon Shoyo was sitting behind Tobio and tugging him against his chest, close enough that he could prop his cheek against his temple.
“I wish the sun would never rise,” he whispered into his ear, even as they watched the first rays turn the sky purple and pink.
Tobio didn’t scoff about how impossible and childlike that wish was. All he said was a quiet, “Why?”
“Because then we could sit here like this forever.”
“Oh.” Tobio took one of Shoyo’s hands that were settled against his collarbones and pressed a kiss to it, murmuring into his skin, “Then I wish that, too.”
With that, they fell into a silence that was somehow both relaxed and tense. They rocked gently in their embrace, sometimes pressing a kiss to whatever part of each other was easiest to reach, but otherwise just soaking in each other’s presence beneath the vibrant colors of the sunrise.
When the sky began to shift from pink to blue, a strangled gasp suddenly ripped out of Tobio. He shot up to his feet, grabbing at a pillar for support.
Shoyo barely managed to fall back before Tobio’s rising head could hit him in the nose. “Tobio?!”
“Oikawa,” Tobio gasped, grabbing at his chest and staring into the woods with frantic eyes. “He’s coming.”

FIRST LOVE !
summary: first love is the one you never forgets, they say, and they’re right. there’s no way in this world that you would ever forget how you fell in love with tsukishima kei
notes: another part of seijoh!reader x kei tsukishima universe. check the other one out here. big height difference, kei tsukishima being an idiot in love, reader being kinda oblivious. mentions of teenagers kissing, reader calling tsukishima “pretty boy”. not proofread.
words count: 4.7k
a soft sigh escaped from between your lips as you tried to mentally prepare and calm yourself before walking into the gymnasium of karasuno high school to see your best friend. you’ve been friends with kageyama for at least a few years now, and if he kept his attitude then you know you could call yourself his only friend.
you two were supposed to hang out after classes, but yet he simply forgot in all likelihood. at the very thought of it, you rolled your eyes a little annoyed, nonetheless you signed up for that. a few minutes had passed before you finally found the courage to open the heavy door and face the confusion rosing on each boy’s faces as they noticed you. a strange girl in an aoba johsai uniform with a tired expression.
“hey, looking for someone?” a silver-haired boy asked, walking up to you with a warm smile forming on his lips, ready and eager to help. he emanated with kindness and sweetness, and you couldn't not reciprocate his smile.
but before you could answer that you’re looking for a friendly crow, who presumably lost track of time and forget about a hangout he was the one to come up with, your friend jogged up to the two of you, an embarrassed grimace on his lips. “oh my god, y/n. i’m so sorry.” he blurted out, not being able to look into your eyes.
“the king can apologize?” you teased, earning a snort from someone at the gymnasium, and you playfully rolled your eyes, not paying too much attention to that. “please don’t tell me you did anything beside forgetting about our hangout.”
“i was about to go with hinata–” he started, and you didn’t even want him to finish. your heart stung upon hearing tobio’s words, but you didn’t want him to see it.
your relationship with the number nine was… complicated, you could say. started with being paired up to something in art class at your primary school when he wasn’t so obsessive of volleyball, sweet times, definitely. then, you were the only one to defend him in front of oikawa who has never been the nicest towards your friend, and then you became a manager to both prevent any possible fights between him and his teammates, and to make sure he wasn’t pushing over his limits. then, high school came, and you picked different schools, so it felt like you were drifting apart from each other. years of friendship rusting and becoming a brief memory in your minds. “listen, i can cancel–”
“don’t. i’ll just tag along, i already told mom i’m gonna be home later.” a soft smile landed on your mouth, biting back the bitter feeling in the back of your mind. your head turned to the silverhead who talked to you earlier. “is that okay if i stay here until the practise ends?” “yeah, no problem.”
you sat on the bleachers, putting both headphones on prior to opening the book you’ve been reading on a certain page. no one really paid attention to you, except for the one time when you caught eye contact for a brief second with the tall, blonde guy standing in the back of the room.
when the practice ended, you prayed in your mind that you wouldn’t start an argument with tobio, because of this whole ridiculous situation. “tsukishima and yamaguchi are going with us as well, okay?” your best friend said before jogging after the ginger boy to the changing room, leaving you no time to react.
you didn’t want to be a party pooper, but you wanted to spend some time with kageyama since you were slowly drifting away from each other. you couldn’t blame yourself for backing out a little when you walked down the street with the first years. the only thing you could hear was muffled laughs from the two boys at the front.
you walked behind a guy who you had an eye contact with and his friend, paying zero attention to your surroundings as you thought about the nicest way possible to just bail and go straight home. “watch where the fuck you’re going, bitch.” you heard as you accidentally hit someone’s arm with your own.
“a grown ass man calling a fifteen years old a bitch, wow. progressive.” the blonde haired boy, tsukishima, muttered under his breath loud enough for you and the guy you bumped your shoulder into, to hear. “stop embarrassing yourself.” he added with an eye roll as the man spoke something any of you could hear.
“should’ve kept your head a little higher than your feet.” he remarked, having you as the target. you could give him that, but by the way he formed his sentence, you would never admit it.
your destination was a cozy pizza place styled as it’s a friday evening in the eighties. tables covered by red and white pieces of fabric with particular, american french fries stands and red cups to drink in. you occupied one red couch (there was a lot of red) with a boy named yamaguchi.
yamaguchi seemed to be the sweetest of them, he would send you warm smiles whenever you looked at him or try to make a proper conversation with you (which wasn’t so hard after he realized that volleyball doesn’t really interest you as tobio). you’d be thankful for that to the end of your life, really.
“no way! tsukki and i are coming as well!” tadashi exclaimed happily after hearing about your plans to go to tokyo for the arctic monkeys concert soon. “huh?” you noticed the blonde-haired boy raising an eyebrow at the mention of his name.
“don’t worry, we’re just gossiping about you.” a smile spread over your face as you replied right before your new companion explained the topic you two talked about. “didn’t expect you to listen to arctic monkeys.”
“what did you expect then?” he asked, you grinned even wider. “one direction, or maybe ellie goulding.” you chuckled, proud of your joke when the boy snorted with a shadow of a smile and shook his head.
“you say that? you probably listen to justin bieber, britney spears or taylor swift. i bet.” he smirked as you rolled your eyes playfully, taking a sip of your coke with a few ice cubes. “don’t you?”
“you know a lot of white artists, tsukishima-san. you’re not that edgy as you tryna be?” yamaguchi laughed at your words, reciprocating your beam, his eyes drifting from his friend to you, not wanting to miss any of your hilarious bickering.
the rest of the hangout contained a lot about the music you three liked (hinata and kageyama were in their own world for most of the time, sadly), how they ended up in karasuno and other things that actually didn’t matter. it was… better than you anticipated. the four of you (tadashi had to leave earlier) bit goodbyes and were about to go your own ways, when you felt a light tap on your shoulder.
“he doesn’t walk you home?” you heard tsukishima’s voice and stopped in your tracks to turn your head around and raise it to look at him. “huh?” slipped through your mouth. “the king. he doesn’t walk you home? it’s almost midnight.” the boy frowned as you shrugged, not really getting why he is so bemused. “he never does.”
you really thought he’s gonna leave you alone after this, letting you go home with j cole as your only companion, instead he walked beside you, one earphone plugged in his ear. “you don’t have to do it.”
“l/n, your house isn’t the only house in that direction.” he looked at you out of the corner of his eyes. well, you were pretty, even beautiful, he could give you that, and tobio must’ve been lucky to be by your side most of the time growing up. however, as soon as his thought hit him, he denied everything. it wasn’t him who thought of you as beautiful, you were the king’s friend with a similar music taste to his, but that was all.
“what you’re listening to?” you questioned, putting the comfortable silence between the two of you on hold. it was the moment when he realized you were looking at him, more obviously than you intended to. “lemme guess, britney spears hit me baby one more time or maybe pitbull and kesha timber?”.
“you really think i’d ruin such a peaceful walk with kesha?” his remark made you chuckle. “the war is over by cage the elephant.” even in the dim light, he could see how your eyes flickered at the mention of the song.
“give me the earphone.” you demanded. “what?” he asked. “oh c’mon, just give it to me, i love this song.”
if you knew tsukishima, you would be surprised that he didn’t refuse your request, because he never had done a thing like that. but now he did, and it shocked him as well. you got a little closer to him and smiled, humming the lyrics under your breath. once you stood on the porch, you sent him a grin and waved.
“thank you, if it wasn’t for you and yamaguchi i would be stuck with those lovebirds.” he shrugged, saying a quiet no problem before you spoke out again. “i hope to see you soon, goodnight, and thanks for walking here with me.”
as soon as the doors were closed behind you, you couldn’t stop the burning feeling on your face and tingling one in your stomach. it was the first time someone had ever walked you home, even if your house was just on their way, the first time you cherished a silence between you and someone who wasn’t your best friend. tsukishima kei was a complete stranger to you, a classmate and teammate of tobio, he was someone you probably won’t see for a long time. at least, you thought so.
but you weren’t the only one who felt… weirded out about the effect the meeting had on you. when kei finally got home, after a twenty minutes bus ride, contemplating upon his decision of walking you home even if he lived on the other side of town. it was the first time he had ever felt the urge to keep talking to someone or just to be around them for a longer moment. his only justification was that you were decent enough for him to tolerate talking to you, even though you occupied his mind throughout the whole ride home and the following day.
however, you’d see tsukishima earlier than you thought. you were sitting in one of sendai’s coffee shops, highlighting various things in your textbook with green, yellow and red markers. exhaustion painted all over your face as you let out a heavy sigh, prior to rubbing your face angrily.
“it’s not healthy to rub your face like this.” a familiar voice claimed out of nowhere, and after you put your hands down you saw the blonde karasuno middle blocker, looking at you with an amused mimic.
“tsukishima-san.” you tugged on a smile involuntarily. “it’s also not healthy to be frustrated by things like these, yet here i am.” you remarked, earning a playful eye-roll from the blonde-head.
“organic chem?” you nodded. “and what’s the highlighters for?”
“glad someone asked.” you picked up three pens. “red’s for things i completely don’t understand, yellow for i’m working on it, and green for things i get. as you can see, there’s mostly red here, and it makes me soo miserable.” you explained, a little embarrassed, you have heard from karasuno setter that tsukishima has had it easy with studying and was a genius. from one other description you got from hinata, there was a high chance that he would make fun of you since he’s a heartless, tower-like, genius.
“uh…” he rubbed the back of his neck. it was supposed to be a quick coffee pick-up and leave, meet up at tadashi’s house and study together, but you clearly needed more help than his or yamaguchi’s grades. he sent a rushed text to the green-haired boy about a cancellation of their plans, and looked at your textbook once again. “let me grab my coffee and i’ll try to explain everything, alright?”. “thank you.”
chemistry has never been so easy for you, like when tsukishima tried to explain different constructions, reactions with various compounds and other things you thought you would never understand, and just fail a class. you often caught yourself looking at him, instead of the notes and book. well, you couldn’t tell, but he felt it, every trace of your eyes on his face, what he missed was your beam whenever you understood something.
“you’re a god in human clothes.” you exclaimed, packing all your things in the bag you swung over your shoulder. “i owe you something huge if i’ll pass.” he sent you a shadow of a smile and shook his head.
“l/n-san, no need for that really” he paused for a second. “unless, you want to give me your number so i can call you when i’ll need a favor.” he tilted his head, handing you one of the three highlighters, and then, as you nodded, his phone. you put in your number and sent a message to yourself.
“would you mind tutoring me sometimes?” you blurted, not being able to look him in the eyes. your question wasn’t anything bad, curiosity ringing in your voice, however it was your second meeting and asking him such a question seemed… a little off. you expected him to deny with having no time for any extra activities like that, but well–
“sure, just call me whenever you need something.”
you took his words very seriously, which led you two to meet up every few days, either it was at your house or the coffee shop you met for the second time. at first, it was plain studying, kei tutoring you in more scientific studies while you helped him with classes who you could classify into more humanistic. but then… you started blabbing in the freetime, sharing waaay too many stories with him, not really expecting him to share his own as long as he wasn’t comfortable enough to speak.
and nobody besides yamaguchi knew about your little study dates, so you could imagine kageyama’s reaction beforehand when you appeared at the karasuno’s gymnasium doors, a smile tugged on your lips as you asked sugawara if you could talk to the blonde middle blocker for a second. you could imagine the surprise painted on all tsukishima’s teammates faces when he jogged up to you, a soft beam on his lips as he bent, so you were able to whisper into his ear, without being eavesdropped by others.
“there’s halloween soon… would you like to come over and do a movie marathon with me?” you heard how he laughed at your words but nodded. “you came here just to ask me that?” “mhmm” you dragged out the word.
he scanned your face for a minute, noticing a pinkish blush spread all over your cheeks because of the closeness between the two of you, and also because you felt his breath on the cheek. “let’s do a pre-game tonight, what do you think?”
“hmm, good idea. i’ll go get some snacks and come by to pick you up, alright?”
as soon as you left, your new friend was covered in questions about how, when, why and once again when it happened, but tsukishima would never bother himself so much to answer any of them. he was happy to be asked to spend both halloween, and that one night with you, instead of kageyama. that he was the one you wanted to spend your free time with.
when the training was finished, tsukishima noticed you standing next to the front gate, headphones in your ears as you waited with two bags, filled with snacks of all kinda since you didn’t really know what his favorite ones were. “i can’t believe you just didn’t walk in and stayed here freezing.”
“it’s finee. i never get cold.” you giggled, putting your headphones into the bag you had swung over your shoulder, heavy with school books, notebooks. “shush. at least give me those bags, mkay?” he rolled his eyes, snatching the two bags of candies from your hand and then a few minutes in walking, he also took your school bag, saying that it wasn’t as bad as it seemed. well, it was quite bad, so he had another reason to not give them back to you.
and before kei could even notice, you two were sitting on the couch in your living room with lots of bowls filled with anything. gummies, chips, cookies, candies, fruits, basically everything – your explanation, you wanted to guess his favorite, just like that. you rested your head on the boy’s shoulder almost immediately when you sat down, blanket threw over your legs.
well, you liked horrors, you really did, but you decided on going along with the stereotype of girls being afraid of scary movies, so you could sneak your hand around his arm and cuddle to it while watching. a genius move to get closer. when he didn’t protest, you grinned to yourself, forgetting to notice the red blush that crept onto his face.
it was exactly that night when you bothered to notice how you started to develop a small crush on your new friend, but since things like this happen almost all the time with the teenagers, you just wanted to wait till they fade. (spoiler alert: they didn’t.)
“he’s hot.” you mumbled, your mouth stuffed with chocolate cookies as a certain actor, looking like tsukishima appeared on the screen. “i hope he doesn’t die, the prettiest always dies first.” he snickered at your comment and let his head fall on yours for a brief second. “it’s okay, pretty boy, we’re gonna look cute all cuddly together.”
“you’re impossible, know that?” he replied, nudging your side lightly. “no wonder why you’re friends with the king, for real.” you gasped, turning your head towards him with an offended grimace.
“what’s that supposed to mean, hm? i call you a pretty boy and for what?” your eyebrows were knitted as you scanned his face for any signs of difference, like the redness on the cheeks. “just to laugh at my friendship with tobio. you should be grateful! you rat.” trying to bite back the laughter that wanted to escape your mouth, you turned your gaze back to the tv.
“now you’re calling me a rat? fine.” he let out and immediately after that, began to tickle you which led to him being on top of you, laughing like you never heard him do so, while you begged him to stop.
tsukishima has never been a big fan of physical touch as a sign of affection, either if it was his mom, yamaguchi or someone else that mattered in his life. but it was different with you, not only he couldn’t care, he felt as if he needed to feel you somewhere next to him, your head on his shoulder, holding pinkies like people in movies (he wasn’t on that stage yet) or anything else. he felt like he needed it to function as a normal human being, and it was another thing that weirded him out, why and since when does he feel like that?
“okay! okay! hahaha- you’re haha not a rat. i’m sorry!” you called out, interrupted by salves of laughs every few seconds “please pretty boy let me breathe!” he stopped upon hearing your request, yet not shifting from his position, eyes highly focused on your lips. friends do that sometimes, don’t they?
next thing you saw was your hands on the back of his neck, pulling him closer for a kiss. it was a moment you know you would probably regret later, but you couldn’t care less about anything as you felt his lips on yours. you were caressing small circles on his skin before putting your hands in his hair, playing with it gently while he cupped your face in his palms, making you smile unwillingly.
when he pulled away a few minutes later – when the pretty blonde boy from the movie died – his eyes were fixated on yours as you tried to calm your short breath. you didn’t have to look into a mirror to know that your lipstick was smudged, hair whenever they wanted to be, and a grin tugged onto your lips involuntarily. he reciprocated the smile as he helped you got back into your previous position without saying anything, but the tension between you told you he didn’t regret it, neither should you.
and you didn’t. because friends sometimes kiss each other. because friends sometimes dream about their friends, right? it wasn’t just a poor excuse to not recognize your crush on the middle blocker anymore. friends do that, and it’d be an ass move to question this.
you went by the same logic when he sent you a link to his spotify playlist named idiot :) with songs’ titles, creating a sentence or moreover a question. would you go out for a coffee with me? there was no chance that it could be a date. but you agreed either way, there wasn’t anything that would make you feel like wasting your time with him.
you went to the same coffee shop you two were going to whenever you couldn’t study at your house. but the tension was a bit different from last time you were there. tsukishika kei was different, all smiley and happy, which was definitely not the tsukishima you knew, but you could stick up to that since a smile suited him soo much. you spent at least four hours talking and laughing, and you could notice how the blonde boy warmed up to you to tell you stories from his life without discomfort.
“you know it’s a date, right dummy?” he questioned, the tone of his voice sounding so soft that you almost melted at his words before processing what he just said. it was a date. real date that people who like each other go to. kei tsukishima like you and just confessed it in his own way. god, how stupid you were for not realizing it earlier.
“who do you think i am, pretty boy?” you replied, cocking your head to the side with the prettiest smile you could ever send him. oh god. you definitely weren’t only friends as you thought earlier.
the day of your date was also the day when you learned that he lied to you about where his house was located, because the opposite side of the city wasn’t anywhere near your house, and you could feel thousands of fireworks exploding underneath your skin, when the meaning of the small gesture finally hit you. he wanted to spend more time with you and also know if you got home safely. OH my god.
“your house isn’t near mine, and yet i’m the impossible one?” you chuckled, standing on the porch of his house at eleven past morning waiting on your mom to pick you up. he joined you in laughter prior to blushing with embarrassment as you found out about his lie. “don’t worry, pretty boy, i think it’s cute.” you smiled tenderly, placing your hand on his cheek, caressing it softly.
the way he smiled at you made your legs weak, the way his eyes traced around your whole face before landing on your mouth prior to finally taking the initiative and kissing you. the kiss, besides being interrupted by a honk of your mom’s car, was even more sweet, more delicate and softer than the first one. he bent his knees so you wouldn’t have to stand on the top of your toes. the tingling and burning in your belly couldn’t stop at his action.
“thank you for today, tsukishima”.
“kei.” “huh?” you asked, confused. “you can call me kei if you want.” he explained, making you die internally. his given name, you could refer to him like that. oh my lord.
“then, thank you for today, kei.” you whispered, placing a kiss on his cheek before walking up to your mom’s car, waving at him through the window, which you lowered before pulling off. “it’s y/n, by the way!” you called out.
since that day you started to see him more often in places like a train to your school, even though he would have to switch to bus after your stop to get back on the way to karasuno, or to get picked up by him on the days when he doesn’t have afternoons trainings. it made you feel special, like a main character of some teenage drama or more accurately, teenage love story.
the day he finally found enough courage and asked you to be your girlfriend happened almost two months after your first date, but it didn’t mean you wouldn’t go out in the meantime. sometimes taking yamaguchi, yachi and the lovebirds so you could call it a triple date.
it was a day – a morning – before christmas when you were supposed to set off to tokyo to visit all of your family and spend the holidays there. it was around three in the morning when your mom claimed that kei was standing with flowers and a present bag in his hands at your porch.
“what you’re doing here?” you laughed quietly, pulling him into the warmth of your house. “i couldn’t sleep knowing i won’t see you till after new year’s eve.” he confessed, making you beam.
“you’re so stupid, dummy” you shook your head as he handed you the bouquet of your favorite flowers and the present bag. “wait, i’ll find a vase and will go get your present.” he nodded without saying anything, his eyes following your every step.
you came back a few minutes later, holding your present for him, finding him in the living room with a cup of tea cupped in his hands. “open it first.” you pleaded, sitting beside him on the couch.
you decided on giving him a hoodie of his favorite band, some cds and books he told you he wanted to get himself after christmas and a photo album hidden in a handmade paper camera that showed your favorite photos of you two when you open it.
at the same time you opened his bag, and smiled at the arctic monkeys’ vinyl of worst favorite nightmare you wanted to buy so badly, a hoodie of his you said was the best, and what made you tear up, a copy of pride and prejudice by jane austen with his notes inside. a thing you once told kageyama you would die to get from a person you care about.
“kei…” you whispered, wiping away the tears prior to wrapping your arms around his neck. “it’s one of the best presents someone ever got me. i- thank you so much.”
“no. i’m the one who should thank you.” he caressed your back with his free hand softly. “not only for the present, but also for being here with me.”
“there’s also another thing.” he added, cutting you as you opened your mouth to disagree. “i can’t let you go to tokyo without saying this… i love you y/n, endlessly and i’d die to know if you’d like to be my girlfriend?” tsukishima let out on a single breath, looking you in the eyes. “it’s okay if you-”
“i’d love to, kei.” you answered, kissing him softly. “if i have to start the new year with someone, i’m glad it’s you.” you added after pulling away to catch your breaths.
and like that. you ended up in the backseat of your car, in your favorite hoodie of your freshly new boyfriend, listening to a playlist he has made you a few weeks ago and waiting for him to wake up so you could show him your grandma’s house, his words ringing up in your head whenever you mom or dad brings up his topic.
“i love you.”

Haikyuu!! — he thinks you’re cheating
❥ including ; kageyama tobio, atsumu miya, ushijima wakatoshi, kuroo tetsuro
❥ genre ; hardly angst, slight insecurity, comedy, fluff, suggestive themes
❥ notes ; my first post in a whole month! gosh it’s been a while, but i’m glad to be back(*'▽'*)
Tumblr media
Kageyama would never assume such a thing, instead, he’d try his hardest to talk it out—scared helplessly throughout. It was after his practice that day, and as he was approaching you for your daily walk home together when he overheard you talking with that guy. So, kageyama being kageyama, strutted to the perpetrator and grabbed his shoulder with an iron grip. “Y/n, what’s going on?” You could tell he was trying his hardest to deepen his voice, causing you to suppress your giggle. “Tobio, are you worried about me being with him?” Oh Kageyama Tobio was so easy to read. From his nervous glances at the two of you talking in the hallway to even now where you saw him from afar, that doubtful gaze told all that was on his mind. “We we’re planning a party for the team.. but I guess you didn’t realize..” The boy he was suspicious of spoke up, pointing to the décor surrounding the two that he’d yet to notice. “Since you guys went to nationals y’know.” You smiled sheepishly, pointing to the door. “And Takeshita is the only one with a spare key to decorate indoors.” Without saying anything else you were wrapped in your boyfriend’s embrace, his face snuggling into your neck. “Thanks for not leaving me.” He muttered, hoping the boy he now knew was named Takeshita didn’t overhear. However their laughter told him otherwise. He was red as a tomato.
Atsumu immediately throws a fit, flaying himself dramatically onto any surface to belch about how “‘ya never loved ‘im!” Very annoying. And the guy working at the ice cream stand seemed to agree. “Hey! I heard you two getting all cozy up in here earlier.. she’s MY baby.” He’d repeatedly remind to which you frantically rush to apologize for the Miya’s unnecessary behavior. “Tsumie! Quit!!” You slap his arm, eyes staring daggers at the irritating blonde. “Mmm fineee.. but watch out. I’m everywhere.” He hissed, trying to act intimidating ( or whatever that was supposed to be ). Apparently he had it out for this ice cream shop worker, pulling you to the side with knitted brows and a jutting pouty expression. “You’re my baby right? Don’t tell me you’re into-“ His whining cut short at your soft lips pressing to his, eyes widening into saucers. “Always your baby.” You smile, brushing a loose strand of dyed hair from his face. “Mine.” He whispered, lifting you up by the thighs to spin you around. “This looks cheesy.” You complain, unable to keep yourself from getting lost in his honey orbs. “I don’t care cause you look like an angel right now.” Wow. It was hard to even think you were slightly mad at him earlier. Charmer.
Ushijima would confront you. Of course since ushijima is indeed ushijima, his mature and knowledgeable nature leads him to invite you to a dinner. Initially you’re surprised, it isn’t you’re birthday, and it’s not any important date? Weird. And he doesn’t hesitate to get right to the point, asking if you’re interested in “another” he said. It was extremely puzzling of how the ushijima wakatoshi was fiddling with his fingers—appearing nervous. That was a first. “Another? Toshi I-“I’m sincerely sorry if I didn’t give you everything you want, you see I’m not very good at this dating relationship and I’m learning so I understand if you went to someone else-“Why would I ever want to break up with you?” The continuous fiddling of his fingers continued, clearing his throat. “Are you okay?” You leant forward, doting features sending ushijima’s mind into a frenzy. “Ah yes, you just-look stunning in that dress.” This statement floored you. God he was perfect. “Toshi, that’s my brother you were referring to. The ‘another.’” You swore his jaw dropped to the table. “Oh then.. I believe this was a misunderstanding, shall I take you home?” A sly smile crept at your lips, taking his comment and twisting it mischievously. “Take me home? To do what?” You chided, watching as his face contorted ever so slightly. “To.. help you out of your dress, it’d be hard to unzip it.” And once again a gentleman despite your coaxing. “Perhaps we could do something else after I help you from your dress?” Now it was your jaw’s turn to drop.
Kuroo mopes. He utterly mopes. Sitting on the couch with one of Kenma’s cats sleeping peacefully atop his head while watching literally every season of Naruto in existence. At some point even Kenma himself steps from his room to ask if he’s still alive. It’s a miracle really that he’s still eating that bag of Lays, munching nonstop. And as expected Kenma receives a call from you in the midst of the ordeal, asking where your potato-chip-eating boyfriend is. Kenma doesn’t lie to you, explaining that the raven-haired is in a state of denial because you paired with someone other boy in your Biology for the project “when you could’ve been learning the periodic table song with him” he quotes, earning a burst of laughter from you. Boy Kenma was a great impressionist. Nonetheless you show up uninvited, standing in front of the tv screen with crossed arms. “You! You’re in love with him aren’t you! The greasy hair, ugly face and everything! Look at you little missy thinking you can get away with-“ On his entourage of accusations and complaining he stands so close to you it’s not hard to smell the stench of 2 days worth of couch-potato days sticking to his clothes. “Ugh! You stink! How long have you been on the couch?” You plug your nose, unbeknownst to the amused Kenma recording at the doorway. “Uhh.. Two.. days? Wah! Wait!” Kuroo calls as you disappear into the bathroom. “No! I’m not coming out ‘till you shower!!” — “Fine but then can I sing you the periodic table song?” — “..Maybe.”

Just thinking ~ Oikawa x Teacher!Fem!reader
Tumblr media
Genre : Fluff, Suggestive
Warnings : Oikawa has baby fever, Mature actions and conversations
Tumblr media
Ever since Oikawa has visited you at work he has been looking up random things about babies with some of his searches being
' Cute Videos of Babies '
' Baby clothes '
' How do I convince my girlfriend to have a baby '
The last one made you shake your head at how ridiculous it was, it would be different if it was a short lived thing but nope. It has been about a week and he just keeps bringing up the topic whether it be while your at work and he calls saying he was just thinking.. or when it comes to the bedroom he'll talk about how much he wants to put a baby in you
So imagine how you felt when he showed up at your job with lunch and a charming smile that had a lot of moms and your coworkers smitten, not surprised at all.
"Tooru" you said in a tone as if you were scolding a child, he gave you a cheesy smile as he walked into your classroom that was filled with five year olds eating their lunch "Oh hey babeeee, I was just on my way home from practice and thought why not stop and have lunch with my future wife" he said with a wink
You weren't going to lie, him talking about marrying you made your heart flutter but you quickly shook it off. Giving him a glare you were about to ask him to leave since he would distract you, but before you could say anything a small voice spoke up "Eekkk! Is that mister Oikawa!" one of your students Maddy said with excitement in her seat as she happily waved at your boyfriend
Tooru smiled waving back with a lunch bag in hand "Are you here to eat with us?" She asked along with some other students who had hopeful eyes "Sorry Maddy mister Oikawa was just about to leave" you said giving her a small smile before sending a glare at your boyfriend "Please Miss L/n I'll try my best on my shapes pleaseeee" she begged looking at you with sad eyes
Looking over at Oikawa he did the same face "Yeah pleaseee I promise I'll behave" he said childishly with a pout making you sigh as you placed a hand on your forehead trying to stop yourself from snapping at him and probably get complaints from your students parents 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯.
"It's not a big deal..just calm down" you muttered to yourself before reluctantly nodding making your students cheer and your boyfriend happily smile while he walked past you placing a kiss on your cheek before going and sitting at the small kid table, his long legs so far up it made you chuckle at how silly he looked
Tumblr media
You sat beside Oikawa watching as he talked to the children while you all ate lunch, you quickly stopped one of your students who was about to eat some overly large grapes "Mika stop one second dear let me cut those for you" you said which she complied "I take your father forgot again" you said thinking about a rushed and hassled Kageyama throwing grapes into a bag and sending his daughter off
Oikawa watched as you carefully cut the grapes a loving look in his eyes as a dreamy sigh left his lips, Feeling a small tug on his shirt he looked down seeing a young boy he had grown close with since the little one said he also enjoyed volleyball and he had met his father a few times "Hm?" He hummed waiting for the boy to speak
"You must really love Miss L/n" he said making Oikawa slightly flustered at how a five year old could notice "Yes, How'd you know?" He asked which the boy shrugged taking a bite of his Pb&j sandwich "Because my daddy looks at mommy that way" He said kicking his feet wondering how the sandwich tasted so good
Oikawa chuckled patting the boys head "You're really smart you know that" he said taking a bite of his own sandwich that he had brought for himself as his eyes went back to you, watching as you cared and assisted your students
Tumblr media
You waved at Mika as Kageyama left the room after apologizing for being late but you simply smiled and told him it was fine which made Oikawa a little jealous as he stood leaned back on your desk watching from afar as you bid the single father goodbye but soon enough you made your way towards him
Giving him a tired smile as he opened his arms letting you rest on his standing figure for a little while, placing a kiss on your head Oikawa rubbed comforting circles on your back to ease some stress. With a sigh you leaned your head back slightly to look at him making the brunettes eyes softened as he looked at your face
You furrowed you eyebrows "No fair how to do still look pretty even with paint on your face" you said making the man chuckle as he remembered the small painting session you had after lunch with your students that ended up in a mess "I'm just that hot" he said making you smile as you playfully hit his chest "Shut up" you whined leaning closer and placing a lingering kiss on his lips making the man pout when you pulled away
Running hands along your back he moved lower squeezing slightly making you huff and pull back "This is why we can't have nice things Tooru" you said walking behind your desk and sitting down as your boyfriend turned around towering over you "Aw come on no one would even know" he said running a hand through his hair "You're an idiot. There are cameras watching us" you said leaning your head back and closing your eyes
It was silent for a little while making you suspicious as you opened one only to see your boyfriend above you "Tooru what are you doing?" You questioned trying to sit up but he held your shoulders keeping you sat, he leaned closer, his breath fanning along your ear making goosebumps rise along your skin as he chuckled at the effect he had on you
"I'm about to put a baby in you that's what" he muttered making chills run along your body as he leaned back a smirk on his lips making you gulp "B-but the cameras" you stuttered shocked at what he was saying knowing there were people monitoring the cameras every once in a while
Humming he moved his hand along your jaw making you stare right at him as he uttered the words that made you unconsciously squeeze your thighs closed "Let them watch then"

Alright everyone, the poll ended up tied between Suna and Atsumu, so I decided to do both so no one would be disappointed! Enjoy!
Suna
Okay, to be fair, Suna only came to this party because it was a prime opportunity for blackmail material. He didn’t expect it to turn into a beer pong war with his crush.
You were both sober which is probably why you both were being so competitive. Both of you were lazy drunks. You always ended up in some corner, leaning on each other while you slept. Sometimes, they would catch the two of you chatting sleepily, filters so gone that you’d say anything that came to mind.
Suna wasn’t sure what the hell came over him, but he found himself blurting out, “If I make this, you have to kiss me.”
He was so startled by his own words that he missed all the cups entirely. If it weren’t for your reflexes, the ball would’ve hit you instead.
You paused momentarily, rolling the ball in your palm.
Suna opened his mouth to apologize, but you took everyone by surprise when you dropped the ball into the nearest cup.
You lifted your head, and Suna saw your lips twitching as you fought a smile.
“Well, looks like I owe you a kiss.”
Suna snapped out of his reverie and walked around the table, trying to look more confident than he felt.
He put a finger under your chin and tilted your head up, but he hesitated when your eyes met his.
You, however, didn’t hesitate to pick up where he left off. You cupped his cheeks and pressed your lips to his.
After the initial shock, Suna melted into you, tugging you closer. He would ask you out afterwards, but for now, he was perfectly content to stay here, holding you and sharing lazy kisses.
He didn’t regret coming to this party at all.
Atsumu
Atsumu had a crush on you.
Whenever someone brought it up, he insisted that it was just a silly crush, but anyone that looked at the two of you could tell that he was head over heels for you. You had him wrapped around your finger, and you didn’t even know it.
It was Oikawa who convinced him to play a couple rounds of beer pong, and at some point, Bokuto dragged you over to play too.
It had been Oikawa, Kuroo, and Atsumu against you, Bokuto, and Hinata.
Kuroo and Bokuto were dragged off by their boyfriends halfway through the game.
Hinata followed when Kageyama asked him to dance.
Oikawa decided to sit out because he claimed it felt unfair to have a 2 vs 1, but the sly smile he gave Atsumu told a different story.
Now, Atsumu was a dumbass on a regular day, but he became an all out disaster when he got drunk. That was the only explanation he had for the words that came out of his mouth next.
“If I make this, you have to kiss me!”
You blinked at him, surprise flashing across your face before you nodded. “Okay.”
Atsumu hid his embarrassment by throwing the ball. He just barely missed the last row of cups, and the ball bounced into your hand.
He didn’t want to admit that he was actually a little disappointed. However, his eyes widened when you reached out and dropped the ball into one of the cups.
Your eyes found his across the table, and you smirked, a mischievous gleam in your eyes. “How lucky. Looks like you made it.”
Atsumu could feel his face turning red as you rounded the table leisurely. When you reached him, you smiled, your eyes softening. “Are you sure about this?”
Atsumu swallowed, his mouth suddenly dry, and nodded. The press of your palm on the nape of his neck made him shiver.
Your lips brushed his softly, your other hand coming to rest on his cheek. Atsumu leaned closer, kissing you tentatively.
You smiled against his lips, pressing even closer. His hands moved to your waist, and the hand on his cheek dropped to his arm while the hand on his neck combed through his hair.
Atsumu swore this was the best moment of his life. He was kissing the love of his life, and you were kissing him back.
When you broke away, you smiled at his flushed cheeks and heavy breathing. “I love you.”
Atsumu thought his heart might have stopped.
You love him.
You love him.
You love him.
“I love you too.” He admitted breathlessly.
You grinned brightly, your eyes shining with joy. You tilted your head forward and kissed him again.
This was the best day of his life.
This is based on a TikTok I saw, but I can’t find it now. If any of you know what I’m talking about, feel free to link it!

oh boy idk if you’ve ever talked about this before (i’m new to the blog, and you’re so very talented!!! you make my dumb horny heart just 🦋🦋) BUT what are your thoughts on which of the haikyuu boys are best/worst at being edged? like who’s begging and crying after 20 minutes and who’s able to hold out for hoouurrs before getting just a touch whiny. i. need to know. for science 🤲🏼
thank you so much!!! welcome to the blog my love 🥺 but omg. thoughts. so many.
HAIKYUU BOYS THAT CAN HANDLE EDGING
matsukawa issei; he’s purely holding out this long out of spite. as if he has something to prove, which he very much does. he’s barely bucking up into you, trying his best to hold his pants and his hisses from how borderline painful this is, but you can see how tense he is. his abs keep spasming, his biceps flexing as he fists the sheets. he keeps his legs spread for you though, lets you suck at his cock, fondle his balls, stroke at the base and squeeze at the tip with your much smaller hand. he lasts a good an hour and 10 minutes. honestly, genuinely impressive. he won’t let you get off easy though, good luck with that.
oikawa tōru; originally, i’d think he’d be so bad at this, but honestly, oikawa’s orgasm control is so impressive? even when he’s fucking you, he’s lowkey edging himself because he always holds off until you cum. so letting you edge him isn’t too much of a problem. he definitely cries and begs like a bitch, but he lasts, oh he lasts. approximately 35 ish minutes. definitely cums without warning and without permission, and you can’t decide whether he did it on purpose to piss you off or because he genuinely couldn’t continue. it’s okay, just overstimulate him till he’s crying all over again. tōru’s a very pretty crier, after all <3
kita shinsuke; oh my god, the best boy. he’d last days if you asked him to. he’ll be quietly, as quietly as he can, panting and whining and groaning, silent tears streaming down his face every time you pull away from his cock. every time he bucks his hips up, it’s followed by a trail of “sorry, sorry, m’sorry,” that it’s just so adorable. has you cooing at him, soothingly rubbing at his thigh and murmuring that it’s okay, that he’s doing so good. he lasts around 45 minutes, but when he cums, he promises to do better next time, to last longer. anything for you <3
sugawara kōshi; this fucking masochist. he likes it. he likes the pain. probably was the one to suggest it to you. he sits between your spread legs, back pressed to your chest with your hand stroking his dick from behind. you stroke at him until he’s so close and pull away, watching as his cock bobs desperately, and he moans for it. he’s so vocal about it, begging and pleading, but when you go to ask him if he wants to cum yet, he tells you, “no, no, i can— more, more.” he lasts 2 whole hours. it’s like, kind of scary. he does pass out after and actually scare, but he gets up a minute later with a cheeky smile like, “again?”
miya atsumu; like oikawa, he will cry and sob so fucking much, and he’ll make such a mess, but god, does he last. atsumu thrives off of praise, and having you tell him how good he’s doing for you, such a good boy, atsumu, all for me? has him drooling for it. both him, and his cock. he’ll get a little dumb halfway, almost just letting you use him, but he does whine a lot, crying and pleading for you to let him cum, but it’s all bark and no bite. it barely has anything to it. i firmly believe he’d be one of top, lasting around an hour and 30 minutes, just because atsumu gets so lost in everything, including giving up control.
kuroo tetsurō; another one to last mainly out of spite. he wants to prove to you it’s not much, it’s not that bad, it’s easy work. you quickly make him eat his words by the third time you pull away, and it just dawns on him that he’s the one that put himself in this position in the first place. it’s no one’s fault but his own, and because he doesn’t wanna seem like a coward, backing out so quick, he lasts at least 30 minutes, and gets through it without begging, only spitting out curses and panting and groaning deeply.
akaashi keiji; sweet boy keiji definitely lasts, all for you. he’s not too vocal either, just light curses to himself, muffled moans, broken, bitten down sobs. he genuinely does love to let you have your fun with him, because submitting to you is just so satisfying. and i can see akaashi loving edging so much because of how good the orgasm that eventually comes is. like the moment you give him permission to, he’s seeing stars, and it’s why he lasts as long as he does, why he tries to push for longer. he lasts a good 45 minutes, and he’s been trying to beat that record for a while now. don’t worry, he will.
sakusa kiyoomi; is so fucked out, so far gone, to the point that you don’t even think he’s in control of his own body anymore. even if you told him to cum, he wouldn’t. he’s so deep in this headspace of being under your control it’s incredible. it’s mesmerizing. he looks so pretty, cock so red and wet and hard as ever, painfully so, against his pale skin, twitching and bobbing and begging for attention. he lasts 40 minutes. it’s the most gorgeous 40 minutes of both your lives.
asahi azumane; so good! such a good boy!!! doesn’t last so long, but definitely tries his best for you. it’s some 20 or so minutes in that he cums, but he immediately starts chanting out apologies, begging for you to forgive him, to give him another chance. he continues to try until he can last so long, but it’s the fact that he’s willing to that has your heart soaring and your body heating up.
HAIKYUU BOYS THAT CANNOT, WHATSOEVER, HANDLE EDGING
bokuto kōtarō; baby boy is crying 10 minutes in. he can’t handle it. if you tie him up, he’ll rip through them, flip you over, and fuck into you till he’s filling you up. he won’t even try. he watched a porn video where a person lasted an hour and thought, oh must be worth it, and asked you to try it on him. just. it’s just not for him. he prefers the pain of overstimulation over edging, forever.
iwaizumi hajime; please he lasts like 2 minutes. he just hates it so much. on him, at least. he can edge you for hours, and he’d the most satisfied man on earth. but sit between his legs and tease him by sucking at his cock, only to pull away just as he’s about to cum? somebody clearly has a death wish <3 but do bring it up and ask to try it! he still won’t last lol. but make him last. watch him cry. make iwaizumi hajime cry. make him. it’s beautiful.
kageyama tobio; mannnn kageyama can cum untouched, hands free, if you really tried. grind down against him for a minute and he’s cumming in his pants for you. he has no concept of orgasm control whatsoever, and if you tried it on him he’d just get angry at you??? like fine no sex for u tf. he lasts a good 5 minutes, so good for him or whatever.
kozume kenma; he wants to last. he wants to. but you have him crying, sobbing, 20 minutes in, and he just unintentionally spills down your throat without warning. of course, you’d felt the twitch of his cock, but you’d wanted to see where his head was at exactly. after he came, he felt so humiliated, but he still forced eye contact with you and went, “do it again. i’ll last an hour this time.” like ok no problem for me :)
ushijima wakatoshi; doesn’t realize he’s being edged, and when you pull away just as he’s about to cum he sits up and stares at you with a deadpan face like, “that was not very nice of you.” he just. finds it boring honestly. he doesn’t want to drag something out like that for so long. he indulges you, sure, but for like 3 minutes, before he’s like alright time to fuck you.
hinata shōyō; hinata’s just way too overexcited. he really does put his mind to it, but i think he gets too in his head about it that he just ends up cumming right away. but it’s a ruined orgasm, cause you pull away just as he’s cumming, so it’s so not satisfying, but for some reason, hinata loved it? so yeah, lasts 0 seconds, but discovers new kink!
HAIKYUU BOYS THAT CAN, BUT JUST DON’T WANT TO
suna rintarō; oh he most definitely can. you cannot convince me he wouldn’t be able to. as much as suna is lazy, he’s just as impatient, and he can barely handle how foreplay seems to drag on forever. he wants to be inside you, and he wants to be inside you now. it’s ridiculous. if he could though, he’d last a good hour probably. he just really doesn’t want to.
daichi sawamura; could 100% do it if he really put his mind to it, but just. why? what’s the point of not orgasming? he just doesn’t get it </3 you can try to convince him by making him do it on you, but chances are he’s gonna realize how much he loves to do it to you only. daichi’s so possessive it’s crazy, and he gets this mischievous glint in his eye whenever he realizes how good something makes you feel, especially if it’s pain. he is a dangerous man.
miya osamu; most definitely would be able to last hours, but again, he just doesn’t want to. it’s also not one of those situations where he prefers overstimulation either. like osamu’s plenty kinky, sure, but those two aren’t what cross his mind when you say, “let’s change things up a bit.” it’s not that he gets bored of it either. he just. doesn’t wanna do it. like he can spend time making you feel good, and vice versa, with way more different things. and he seems like a very in the moment guy, like choking you in the moment or making you squirt. yk :)
satori tendō; oh tendō loves edging, just on you. he never really gives you a chance to ever try to with him, honestly. he just loves, loves, loves to edge you, but not because he wants to purposefully hurt you, but rather to praise you, to tell you how good you are for him, to make you feel so good when he finally lets you cum. if you were to edge him, he’d honestly probably last over two hours. like not even exaggerating, he probably would. but no, you’re more fun!
