do you guys want to learn some Fun Facts™ because boy do i have some Fun Facts™ for you.
i know what you're thinking. "that's a really weird collection of facts you appear to have screenshot from the same website. what. what were you doing when you saw these?" that's the fun part. guess.
i have no idea in what world these are coherent as a collection of facts. i read these out loud to craze because i was hysterical while i was reading this website.
like i can't stress enough these all came from a single webpage. these were all together, like they were intended to go together.
someone was desperate. the writer of this webpage could not think of a single thing as they tried to fill the fun fact quotient. we love to see it.
anyway i was on a list of gender neutral baby names to name a character in my omegaverse novel but between you and me i'm infinitely less embarrassed i'm writing omegaverse because at least i'm not writing these fun facts for the names [checks notes] winter, owen, rory, shiloh, river, reed, logan, morgan, jody, rain, kelsey, and jayden.
#who lets reili make text posts?#some of the fun facts are more normal#but about half of them are just unhinged word association#shoutout to my favorite i didn't use which was for keaton#and was like 'it's a creature in legend of zelda!' and i was like 'yes but i don't think now is the time to mention that'

The Negotiator [Reader + Mer!Warriors]
This was not in your job description. You don't get paid enough.
The self-indulgent is spewing forth even stronger than usual with this one. This particular topic was supposed to happen differently, but I was seduced by the unceasingly posts of the scarf on my dash. It be that way sometimes.

You hadn't aimed for the welfare department when you'd signed up for an entry level position at a mer rehabilitation center. In fact, you hadn't expected to be considered at all, nevermind accepting the position even if you did get a call. It had been a fit of fancy sending in that application. A shot in the dark, when honestly you'd already been accepted for another job.
And yet, here you are. Just like you'd taken a chance in sending out that application, you took another one when you turned down the job you'd lined up previously in favor of a pipe dream.
You just hadn't expected that dream to become a nightmare so quickly. You hadn't expected the glamor of media and public perception to be so skewed by romantic bullshit it had become more akin to a lie than an embellished retelling.
In the time you'd been working there, you learned something about Mers that should have been obvious from the beginning (was obvious, you just hadn't wanted to accept it at first). Furthermore, you learned something about humans you'd always known but now had deep, intimate experience with.
And that was that Mers are dangerous, feral creatures. And that humans are damned idiots.
"Wars." You called softly (you knew he'd hear you. he always did), staring down cautiously into the enclosure from the safety of a catwalk far above. The water rippled at the surface, just the slightest of movements giving away the presence of the Mer you currently had the most concerns about.
Wars, for better or worse, was a charmer as far as mers go (honestly, as far as any male species goes). A handsome face, elegant features, charisma for days and a flare for the dramatic. And also, a flirt. An insatiable flirt who knew how to woo a female of any species into giving him a second look.
It was what made him so valuable to the center. So damned profitable. The picture perfect fantasy come to life, all wrapped up in a saucy little wink and a sweet (fake. so fake) gesture of affection for the throngs of desperate humans clambering to meet the real life prince charming. The perfect act. An act made by a predator that thrived on deception.
And those ignorant center visitors were none the wiser. Just throwing their money away to coo and sigh at the smiling face that had learned to keep his fangs securely behind an upturned pair of lips.
It's not hard for a creature as intelligent as mers to lie, after all. Despite what the law may interpret the existence of mers as, when it came down to it they were sentient predators. And humans were just as likely to end up on the menu as anything else.
The water shifted again, and suddenly there he was. Golden spun hair shimmering in the sunlight like gold dust, gorgeous blue eyes half-lidded and a smile (fake. fake. fake.) turned delicately against the plush shine of full lips.
He did a little turn in the water as he looked up at you with a damn good imitation of bedroom eyes, making a soft cooing sound and letting the long, silky sapphire fan of his fins flare out across the water's surface like a great billowing cloak. By the end of the flashy swirl, he's wrapped his glimmering curtain of tail fins around himself, blowing you a kiss in a very humanlike gesture. Of course, throwing in his signature wink at the end, delicate head fins folded back and eyes so liquid they were practically melted.
Ever the performer. And currently the bane of your existence.
"Yes, yes. Beautiful as always, Wars." You drawled, rolling your eyes before continuing. "Now. If you're done trying to kill me for the day-" He made a wounded (fake) sound in the back of his throat. "-I have to talk to you." You leveled his pouting face with a serious stare. "About my co-workers."
It was instant. The way War's melted sugar eyes hardened like cold chips of ice, the pupils within constricting so rapidly you could see it even several meters above the water. His fins pulled close and held perfectly still atop the water's surface, the lithe muscles of his tail working so fluidly in his element he hardly seemed to move at all.
He sank just the slightest bit until it was just his dark, predatory eyes watching you from the eerily still surface. Waiting. Watching. Assessing.
It took everything in you not to take a step back. Away from the catwalk. Away from the predator curled tight in the water below, tense as a coil in a spring-loaded trap (you wondered sometimes if he might not make the leap one day and drag you down to your death. he had the power for it, no matter what your coworkers seemed to think).
You pushed away the unease, instead taking a step forward. Ignored the way his eyes tracked you like pinpoints against the whites of his eyes. "I'm sure you've heard that management are thinking of putting someone in the water with you. For- performance potential." You grimaced at the idea of it.
It would be a blood bath. Warriors was territorial. Far too territorial to allow just any random trainer in the water with him (which shouldn't have ever been a concern at all. because there were restrictions put in place for a reason. and no direct human-mer interactions was at the very top of the list damnit).
Wars was silent, as was to be expected. He hadn't yet learned human speech, and if you had your way he never would. Because he wasn't even supposed to be at the center anymore. He should be back in the wild where he belonged. Seducing fish and seals to their untimely deaths or whatever it was this particular mer did to get by before he arrived at the center.
But he was a money maker (and a damned good one). He was basically the face of the center by this point (featured on so many postures it was nearly sickening). And the big bosses were hard pressed to let such a cash cow go without a fight.
You understood. You really did. Money didn't grow on trees and mers were expensive to upkeep. Not even accounting for the gray-area bullshit that was mer standing in the political sphere. Mers were not an easy subject to acquire funding for, given the hazy line between sentience and non-sentience the world at large couldn't seem to agree on (you knew where you stood on that line).
However, (and as you've said so many times before) forcibly keeping him (or any mer) here with the intent to gain profit went against the very purpose of the center. Which was to rehabilitate mers affected by human-made incidents and to release them back into their natural environments as soon as possible.
Simple. Effective. Routine. And then Wars had showed up with a badly torn (shredded) fin from an illegal nighttime boating incident. He was put into the isolation tank (just like any other new arrival) where he had then proceeded to mimic his handlers' playful (you damned well hoped it had been playful) gestures out of boredom.
He's intelligent. Very, very intelligent. He learned very quickly which gestures got him the most attention. And food. And the rest, as one could say, was history.
Which had snowballed into the issue you were now addressing. That some grade A idiot up top thought it would be a good idea to get someone in the water with a potentially deadly (very much deadly. actively deadly) mer just because he learned how to blow a kiss and smile pretty for treats.
"Wars. I am trying my best to get you back to the ocean where you belong." You saw the way his pinprick eyes dilated and flickered briefly, and you resisted the urge to grit your teeth. "Yes, Wars. The ocean. Where you actually belong. Not here in this tank, lovely as you seem to think it is."
Silence. As was expected. Except for the way Wars had flicked his head fins in slight irritation, upset that you were talking of releasing him again when he had made it abundantly clear that he preferred it here. Where all his wants and needs were provided for and life was just so easy to coast through with a few mimicked expressions.
You leaned against the catwalk, arms crossed and head hanging at the shoulders. Not looking forward to a potential one-sided argument with Wars. Exhausted as you were from a long day of arguing with your superiors and trying your damnedest not to call them all conceded fools and ignorant morons.
You sighed. "But that's not the point right now." You moved away from the topic before it could throw you off track. And thankfully, Wars let you (for now). "I'm doing everything in my power to keep all these overzealous idiots out of your territory." He made a pleased coo at that, but you silenced him with a tired glare. "You aren't making it easy, Wars."
From the water, the blue-finned mer unfurled his elegant tail fins and began waving them gently through the water, chirping and squeaking at you in appreciation. It was so convincing you almost wanted to smile, but you didn't because you weren't an idiot.
"Cute. But no takers, love. Your eyes are still doing that thing they do when you're contemplating ripping someone's throat out." Wars blinked at that, before finally (finally) pulling his lips back until his fangs were on full display. Long and sharp and predatory to the very core of him. "Ah. There he is. Good to know we know where we stand with each other."
And he snickered. Honest to God snickered. Pupils no longer flickering between too large and too narrow, just settled into some state of in-between you've come to learn was his version of relaxed.
It was unnerving. But better than the fake ass smiles and doe eyes he seemed intent on practicing on you. Anything was better than knowing you were being actively hunted (even if just for casual sport. especially because it was just for casual sport).
You picked up the bucket at your side now that you had his actual attention. "Back to business." You grabbed a fish from it, a beautiful female salmon nearly half your size (eggs still intact, just how Wars preferred them). "They're going to evaluate you tomorrow. I need you to be- less pleasant." That was definitely an unimpressed snort, but his attention was still on the fish and therefore you were still negotiating. "And by that I mean hissing, snarling. Hell. Even some tail thrashing wouldn't be amidst."
You held the fish out over the catwalk, and his eyes pinpricked again, tracking it with interest. Now for the hard part. "But no biting." His eyes. Flickered. Contracted. Dilated.
"No biting, Wars. Don't kill them." His eyes were fully blown now. Looking you right in the eye. Quiet. So quiet.
"I'm going to give you this salmon. Okay, Wars?" No response. "And if you don't bite, kill or maim anyone, I'll bring you three more. Just like this one."
That caught his interest, and you pressed your advantage. "You know I'd never break my promise to you. I never have before, right?"
He blinked. And his eyes were neutral again. Tracking the salmon with new appreciation. Something almost like enlightenment entering his eyes.
"Is it a deal?"
You were making a deal with the devil. Because this was an intelligent mer. And when he learned how to get what he wanted he'd grasp it with both of his clawed hands and never let it go.
He nodded. And you knew future you would rue this day for the rest of your life (or just until you got this fucker back to the wild, because you would. for sure).
But still. Tension you hadn't even realized was in your chest loosened. Relief flooded your body, so great you nearly went limp with it.
You didn't want to think about what the alternative would have been. Even if it meant Wars now had a new trick in his arsenal to make your life a misery, it would be worth it (it had to be).
It would have been a bloodbath. You were sure of it. Wars was territorial, after all. Of his space. Of his food. Of his resources.
It was why he didn't want to leave.
"Okay." You said, smiling finally. "Here you go."
And with a toss the deal was struck. And you prayed to whatever deity would listen that Wars kept his end of the deal. Because he was an accomplished liar, and he always had been.
And you knew, beyond logic and beyond evidence, why Wars had been hit that night. Why he'd been so close to that boat when he'd been ensnared in their propeller. Why he'd been right under them, so close he could reach out and touch it. In shallow water. With the lights off and the moon full.
Why he'd had injuries on his hands that weren't from propellor blades. Why his claws had damn near been ripped off.
He was territorial, after all. And a predator. The top of the food chain.
And humans were just another animal.

Since you said it's ok to send you random ask, i've always found your "monsters" design to be really really gorgeous, and I wanted to know : in any form of media you've interacted with, what's PEAK monster design for you ?
i have been thinking about this ask alot bc ... i dont ... know? theres a problem with what counts as a monster really too, most are either some sort of anthro/furry or the horror gore type of monster that instills you more with disgust than awe
i guess theres some i really like but idk if thats what id call 'peak' (though its rarely JUST the design but their vibe and stuff too);
(its a lot of zelda.. sorry)
Eldra, Farodra and Naydra (engl Dinraal, Farosh(?)) though Eldra is def my fav one of them, i like how they are a little more less typical dragon- with the fur around the neck the floppy ears and kinda goofy face yet manage to be the most ethereal, awe inspiring creature i have ever seen in a game with how they act and are presented as (in BOTW!!! do not mention anythign sonau/zonai with stupid magic pebbles to me about them i will manifest worms into your tea)
Leunen (Lynels) (botw) -i could not find a better picture wtf, fav are white and silver ones) FINE they had some pretty neat new horn designs in totk- idk i just like them alot, rather simple if you think about it, horse lion plus horns- but its so well put together it just kinda scratches my brain in a good way (also how intelligent they clearly are, like the way they fight and act and also even their death animation is so??? huh?? you are just gonna treat them like any other mindless monste- *remmbers they treat ganondorf even even worse all things considered* .. nevermind you're good)
'Beast' Ganondorf (twilight princess) its my favorite beast ganon design (even if it technically is just kinda a man boar .. again) though if ww gan had a non puppet beast form that one would most definitely be my fav lol (i will not get over the fact that some descriptions call this a hideous beast EXCUSE ME???? WHERE???) (honorable mention here, darkbest ganon from botw, pig on fire but it looks cool as fuck)
Nimbusgarde (ww) .. (engl .. darknuts?) do i need to say anything? (i could throw alot of ww design here) not sure if it counts as monster but they are not human so ????
the pathless bosses- (here in order, Cernos, the Godslayer, and Kumo) all of them are rad as hell (except for the final version of the godslayer ... liek im sorry but it looks to boring compared to any other one lol) again not just the design but man do i love them
since i dont know what would count as a monster or no i could just list my fav characters here bfmjbfmjsbmj like radahn (elden ring) is just kinda a zombie, aurelion sol (league of legends) is a space dragon, the forest god in princess mononoke, Narisha (skyward sword- sky whale)- i could go on but this post is long already (honorable mention to Omus in nausicäa, weird bugs but also something divine, though it is much more how they are treated and the vibe etc)
in all honesty though i cant think of one that i would describe as perfect, what i want of a monster design is to be ... cool but also a little weird, big hulking monsters that have something off about them and something that makes them 'other', but also not, as much as i like bloodborne, just bloody gory messes of rotting flesh, AND not just as a monster to kill, i just crave a game or otherwiese piece of media where the cool monsters arent just there for you to kill- the perfect one i guess would be something kinda big scary weird and off but while non verbal clearly not a mindless beast?
and here is the thing; my own characters do not furfill that, my designs are really rather conservative, much to my dismay, anthro of a mix of animals, maybe an extra arm thrown in- Eadrya, one of my favorites, is really just a blueish furry (yes they have fur) and their demon form is a mix of seals and catfish with some extra arms, too many teeth and a mouth that goas wayy to far (if they want) - Shargon is a feather dude with extra arms and his demon form is really just a chinese type dragon crossed with a bird, throw some darts at the color wheel, done
together with my problem of my monster characters losing their 'otherness' vibe within the story rather fast bc the majority of my characters are non human and speak and you see them in all sorts of emotions and parts of life- they lose that divine, unknown vibe and i HATE that that happens, i want them more akin to the forest god in mononoke but thats not possible unless i start from scratch
and i really dont mean to make myself look bad to sound self depre- ... however you spell that; i really am rather dissatisfied with my own designs but mostly just roll with what i got bc i never seem to be able to actually achieve what i want
even my redesigns often really make things LESS interesting (unless maybe the og was just ... human, but they are blue eyed with golden hair and white so that makes them divine you seE-), the skyward sword dragons as i redesigned them made them much more classical dragon, in part intentional bc i was drawing a connection of them becoming the botw dragons at some point, but by all means the canon design is much more weird and unusual than what i did with them, you could apply the same to even demise, his canon design might seem a little uninspired but really what did i do? inject him with some classic satan spice like that makes it in any way less stereotypical evil demon ??? lol
im sorry this post devolved into whatever this is but i really am trying to answer sincerely, i am confused about it myself, what counts as a monster, what doesnt, there must be more that i really loved but why cant i think of them, why do i design characters like this when i really want something much more different, i dont know, i feel like my brain is in a cage, why do i keep making things less interesting in an effort to make it interesting, am i falling into the corporate trap of cool sells who am i what am i doing
(theres a zelda artist with a style so strikingly genuis in shape, color and just .. DESIGN that i want to chew my nails off bc i cannot design like them, their designs and redesigns are so different yet sensical and so full of crisp shapes i have never seen before it drives me nuts and i would want to give them a shoutout but i think they dont like me so aaaaarhekjbfhgdknbgdfklbg)
#ganondoodles answers#hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh#this ask was so innocent and nice#what did i do to it#me trying to think of my favorite monster design spiraling into me realizing i am making things often more boring than the og#and in general just dont achieve what i want to even with my own creations#i have infinite possiblities of creativity at my fingertips and yet what to i draw#blue furry :)#i feel like an ant that just experienced cosmic horrors of realization#(to be clear- having infinte possibilites and yet deciding to just draw furries is FINE AND VALID if thats what you want#(do -I- want that though??????????????????????

Hello! I would like to request Majora (in a physical demon form) x masculine Hylian reader. The idea being, Majora is summoned back into Hyrule for the reader's revenge, but before it goes through with that, it senses that the reader wants something else too. It decides to take of the reader's desires in exchange for carrying out what it was summoned for. So for themes: bondage, rough sex, and aftercare. This is my first time requesting something like this, and I hope I didn't mess anything up!
Oooh how interesting~
Now I'll be frank, I have not played Majora's Mask or know much about it in general. My husband has more knowledge about this, so I'll be using that to assist with this.
I do hope I have things right.
If not, feel free to request again, and I will try to do better.
Title: Exchange of Payment
Characters: Majora x m!reader
Contains: bondage, rough sex, aftercare, fingering, hair pulling
Fandom: Legend of Zelda

You didn't expect this to work, but the creature standing before you defied your doubt.
The demon towered over you, silent. Its slow breathing was audible in the small room of your cellar for a moment as its chest moved with every rough breath. Two yellow eyes on the chest glowed in the dim light, almost as if they stared you down. Its gaze left you frozen in position, kneeled before the creature thanks to the position you took to summon it, but it wasn't those yellow eyes that stilled you. No, it was the singular eye on its forehead, visible from the creature's head craned down to the Hylian that summoned it. Unnatural, cold, it remained on you. You felt as though your position didn't help, on your knees in a way that made it seem like you were knelt in respect. It was merely the position you took to summon it, though for a moment, you felt it was appropriate.
After all, you summoned Majora.
A bane of the past, Majora had used its powers to nearly destroy Termina while inhabiting the body of Skull Kid, using him as a mere puppet. His reasoning for doing so was unknown, but all you cared was it was powerful enough for you to work with.
Though scared, you swallowed your fear, slowly standing to the demon. "M-Majora. I summoned you for your assistance." Silently cursing yourself for the stutter, you stared back into the eye that bore into you as your knees shook from the fear as well as due to the energy the summoning sapped from you.
In silence, its head tilted, jaw open and revealing two rows of unnaturally sharp teeth. It was as if the creature was still struggling to understand its situation. After all, summoning did a number on the demon as it did to you.
"Revenge..." Its voice was hoarse, low. It's jaw didn't move as it spoke, only leaving you to wonder how its voice worked. "That is what you seek..." You hadn't said it, but you didn't need to. Majora could easily sense your desire.
"Yes..." Your own voice was thick with hesitation, fear practically beading on your forehead in a chilled shine.
Something ate away at you as you picked at the hem of your shirt in thought. Your eyes traveled along the creature's form, eyeing its chest, down to its arms. Each hand clasped around the handle of a whip, and your mind began to wander.
"Payment...for services..."
Snapping out of your dirtying thoughts, your gaze shot back up to the demon. "Wh-What?" For a moment, you thought he was answering you, but that was not the case.
"I require...payment."
Wait, payment? That was something you hadn't thought of. You didn't think a demon would want something, but then again, you were foolish to think so. After all, of course a demon as powerful as Majora would want something in return.
"I-I uh...I'm really sorry but I--"
"Do you...have payment?" Its form bent forward, all eyes growing closer towards you as Majora used the end of the whip to tilt your chin up, forcing you to gaze at the monstrosity before you.
All those sinful thoughts were quick to return, paired with a flush of heated pink on your cheeks. It felt as if the creature was digging into your soul, trying to find some sort of lie or reason as to why you couldn't pay it for its work, until it froze.
"Ah...yes..." Straightening up, Majora lowered its hand before flicking both of them, both whips wrapping around your form and pinning your arms to your sides.
With your heart hammering, you struggled to stammer out an excuse for your lack of money or other means of payment. You feared your life would be payment instead, but when Majora pulled you toward it, your bodies now flush with each other, your mind instead went blank with confusion.
"Payment...will be you..."
Instantly you were brought back to your initial fear, but before you could utter a response, Majora spoke first rewording its sentence.
"Your body will be my payment..."
---
Despite your arms tied behind you, the position didn't hurt.
Majora used one of its long whips to bind you to its liking, wrapping the material around your now bare chest and arms in a decorative way, and in this style, the demon was able to use the second whip to loop through a section on your back, the material holding strong as it was used to hold you up without falling. You weren't sure how it managed it, but thanks to a support beam above you and Majora's two whips, you were lightly suspended from the ground, your toes barely touching the ground.
You were at the demon's mercy.
Aside from your trembling breathing, there was silence. Majora was nowhere in your sight, and its movements weren't noticable. However, its presence was finally made aware to you when it grabbed your hips, a gasp brushing by your lips.
"Yes...perfect..."
It brought your body to its own, a stiff object resting against your clothed ass. Your body tensed against the object, your legs clenching up and leaving yourself fully suspended, your body weight against the skilled harness you were in. Only Majoria could move you around now, but he would only put you back in your original position, using the space to now remove and discard your pants and underwear.
You shuddered from the chilled air now brushing against your skin, leaving goosebumps along your body. Now exposed to the demon, every touch from it made you feel like you were caressed with fire. Heat kissed from your arm, inching down your side before resting on the dip of skin above your bottom. Its sharpened nails began to part your cheeks, earning the demon a small squirm from you.
"Be still..."
Easier said than done. With its nails inching towards your sensitive hole, your body twitched, your legs almost kicking the demon. Though it remained still as it had commanded you, unfazed by your motions. As its hand inched closer, its thumb found a tightened entrance, pressing against it as a low, rough hum met your ears at the same time as your pitched gasp met the demon's ears.
"Needs preperation..." it noted, its thumb immediately increasing in pressure.
Your body wasn't accustomed for anything to enter, but that didn't stop Majora. Pressing past the tight rings, you let out a pitched squeak before your body gradually relaxed, your breathing returning to its shaky sound as it was at the start of the session. Surprisingly, its nails didn't hurt, and you were grateful for that. You could feel its thumb, walls tight around the appendage. The sensation sent a jolt to your cock, which stood proud into the chilled air. All the demon's touches, sounds, and voice had made your shaft uncomfortably hard, but with no hands to relieve yourself, you could only silently swear.
Your thoughts were soon interrupted as Majora began to slowly pump its thumb into you, its free hand firm on your ass to keep your hole visible. Your head hung, soft breathy moans slipping out your throat as you took the steady pace. All this pleasure from just a thumb? Though to be fair, you weren't sure how big it was due to your position, let alone know what Majora had planned. Its pace would soon increase, causing ripples of pleasure to radiate from within. Your hands clenched into fists from behind your back as your body started to adjust to this strange new feeling.
Ultimately, you couldn't complain. If you had known the payment would feel so nice, you would have been a little more confident with the demon. Instead, you appeared as a meek little Hylian, a toy for Majora to play with, something that Majora couldn't complain about in turn.
You weren't sure how long it was before you felt a second appendage slip in, your body jolted from the intrusion, and your cock leaked with arousal. Its other thumb had entered, now attempting to spread your hole open.
"This will do."
Majora brought both bodies close, a third, larger and harder object pressing against you. You realized it was the same object from before, now coming to the end thought of it being the demon's cock. You opened your mouth to protest its size, but instead of words, only sound escaped, pleasure dancing a dangerous waltz with pain.
Majora was large, and it offered no time for you to adjust. It wanted payment, and it would take it.
And your cracking little mind would happily oblige.
Thrusting almost immediately, Majora used your hips as leverage, your skin clapping against the demon's colored form. Both you and Majora sounded out, moans, groans, and slapping filling the stale air. It hurt, but goddess was it delicious.
Your legs at first curled into the air, tensing against the demon before they ultimately fell, a sign of submission. Eyes rolled back, you gave yourself to the demon, paying your debt with every thrust, with every moan.
Majora devoured your sounds, drank in the sight of your body. It moved quick, its thrusts firm, but it could do more. It desired for more.
With your suspended form, Majora would pull itself away, push you forward, only to reconnect you two in a rough, firm clap. It was slower than the pace from before but fuck that impact was like lightning in your body.
A sloppy, drooling smile decorated your face. Moans becoming blissful screams from the demon's roughness. With every slap of skin, your moans would hiccup. You didn't dare silence yourself, partially fearful of what Majora would do to make you sound out. You were in bliss despite your body at the mercy of such a creature.
"M-Ma...Majo...ra...~"
Your moans of its name faltered the movements of the demon. A power coursed through it and in a blink of an eye, you found yourself on the cool concrete of the ground, your hot cheek pressed into the rough texture as your ass remained in the air. Your hands were still bound, but now you were no longer suspended, your eyes catching the whip that now rest on the floor beside you.
Majora, however, never left you, using this new position to hammer into your smaller frame. The new position was a new power dynamic for the demon, enjoying having you in such a pathetic state.
"Again, Hylian..." Your mind was too broken to understand what it wanted. A tug of your hair and a hiss of its voice, however, were easy reminders. "Speak my name again!"
"M-Majora!!" The response was a pained whine, the tinges of pain from the hair pulling giving way to the warmth that traveled down your stomach. "M-Majora...Majora!"
Saliva pooled from your lips onto the stone, eyes glazed from the intense pleasure that was pistoned into you. You absentmindedly continued to mutter its name, using it as a way to ground yourself lest you get lost from the onslaught of bliss.
Satisfied with the response, Majora released your hair, pressing its hand instead onto the back of your neck, pinning you down as if you could get up. Bound hands would be forgotten, but the power Majora held over you would be remembered.
Your cock ached, in desperate need of stimulation. As if reading your mind and with its cock buried deep, Majora pressed your body flush against the ground. It still kept its hand on your neck, but you didn't fight. No you began to rut your hips like an animal in heat, grinding the ground to take whatever friction you could to stimulate your weeping cock.
Instead of belitting you for such an action, Majora pressed on, likely nearing its own climax and perhaps giving itself to its own pleasure infused mind. To pound into you on the floor, Majora itself felt like an animal, pinning you down to take what it was owed.
It wouldn't take long for you to cum, strangled moans slipping into the open air as your hips rocked lightly into the ground, all touch now too much for your body to handle. This didn't stop Majora, as it kept thrusting on, not yet ready to finish. The sensitivity was so much, but not enough for you to beg for mercy. Your moans pitched with every thrust, your vision blurring as every minute that he wasn't finished passed. You continued to call the demon's name, albeit hoarse and raspy until what felt like eternity, you felt your hole pool with a blazing heat, the demon's cock throbbing with every injection of seed. You wouldn't know when Majora pulled out, as finally with its climax, your body gave way to unconsciousness.
---
It wasn't sure why there was a bed in a cellar, but that's where Majora put you.
Having receiving its payment, the demon had undone the bindings. Admittedly, it was concerned for your lack of movement, but your soft breathing reassured it. Majora would carefully gather you, placing you on the bed to provide you some comfort for when you'd awaken. It was strange for it to do such things, but Majora would touch upon these emotions later.
Until then, the creature casts the blanket over and waits at the bedside, awaiting for you to awaken for you to complete the summoning.
Perhaps it would ask for another payment should it see fit.

FAQ
*this post continues heavy totk spoilers
How did it start?
A lot of people started posting some really cool art of a TotK ending where Zelda returns as a hybrid dragon creature thing. I saw a few that called it a “bad” ending and I noticed she was often portrayed with dominantly human-features just like, with horns or a tail, or the purple eyes, etc. I love to play video games(clearly) and I enjoy the challenge of seeing various endings, not just “secret endings” (think Heavy Rain, Until Dawn, The Witcher 3, Drakengard- anyone else play this?) I got to thinking about how her coming back didn’t really like a true “bad ending”. To me, a bad ending, really, would be one in which she didn’t get to magically, miraculously come back in any form. A bad ending to me would be Mineru’s warning held true. And in doing so, it would become The Legend of Zelda because she becomes the stuff of myths. Of true Legend. Fulfilling destiny (botw-era and the series as a whole). My brain sort of took off from there regarding the implications this would have on Hyrule and specially, our boy Link.
How could you! A Bad ending? Is this story at least hurt and eventual comfort??? Does it have a happy ending??
I could tag this hurt and comfort, but usually people who read these types of stories have certain expectations of what “comfort” is (and that’s okay!). Same with a “happy” ending. I don’t need stories to be wrap up in a bow with warmth to enjoy them. Honestly, some of the stories that have touched me the most over the years have had “sad” endings/negative character arcs/tragedy. That being said, I don’t particularly enjoy pure whump, either. What I feel is most important and what I am to do with this story, is to make any suffering meaningful. With purpose. And hopefully- maybe- you’ll see the “comfort” that is possible even in these types of stories.
Wait! So Zelda remains a dragon?
Yes. They defeat the demon dragon. Rauru and Sonia appear in a silent thanks, then they disappear and Link falls from the sky alone into the water. The Light Dragon continues along in her flight above him.
Link is also the only one who can see/has ever seen the Light Dragon.
Are there any other major changes from TotK?
It follows the game pretty closely. It’s just hard to say exactly what is in this story from TotK because there is just so much. In BotW, I headcanon Link took his time. He doesn’t remember anything. He is alone, lost, and the world is a vast, broken place. Therefore, it is plausible/ realistic in my head for all the side questions to be done prior to the ending being reached. In TotK, especially with the headcanon he and Zelda were together in the time between BotW and TotK, I had a hard time imagining Link would waste much time on anything unnecessary to save Zelda. So, with this in mind, I’ve had to justify the side questions to include in the story. Link’s journey is a bit different than my own. Whereas I actually spent 80% of my playthrough exploring the depths, this Link only went down when necessary. Meaning many of the lightroots have not been unlocked and he only has part of the armor of the depths. In the Linktober and the early concept, he has the entire set but this has been changed for the main comic.
How far after the events of TotK does this take place?
Five years.
Is it completely planned out?
Yes. I have a complete rough story outline done. It’s 17 chapters. I am anticipating some editing as I go, but regardless, it’s a big project. A huge shout out to @zeldaelmo and @fioreofthemarch for helping me get the story set. They are both phenomenal writers for the LoZ fandom so be sure to check them out!
What happened to the comic?
I made the decision to tell this story (initially) in writing. I have a very specific style in mind for this story as a full comic and honestly, I just don't feel like my artistic ability and overall proficiency is where I want it to be at this time. I'm still learning! I will be continuing to post art, concept art, and some comic panels here as I go and eventually, I would love to adapt the story into a full comic, but for now, I'll be telling the main story in writing.
How long have you been drawing?
I’ve been drawing all my life. Just for fun, although I took a few classes in school. Digitally, self-taught, since fall 2022. Still very new to this with lots to learn! I have a minor in creative writing and feel much more confident and comfortable with that.
Feel free to send me a DM with questions anytime! I plan to update this periodically.

vore ask cause im not sure if this was mentioned before, do your predcrushes stay strictly as pred or do you have moments of like wanting to make them prey so you can keep them safe and close too (vore is a comfort for me <3) -opossum anon
OH heck yea!
first off thank you so much for this ask opossum anon! I've been itching to write something for a while but had no set inspiration. also congrats on being my first real ask in like 4 months.
Anyway! onto your ask! warning it will be very long cause I went a bit crazy remembering all my pred crushes.
Also warning to start I start off on legend of zelda and don't stop for like 6 names... also sorry for the crazy comments im just letting my mind barf all over this post.
I have had pred crushes on just about every enemy in most legend of zelda games, but ill stick to ones that make the most sense for this ask otherwise this will take forever.
Ghirahim: sassy demon lord and sword to the demon king demise, very much a pred from how he likes to be above those around him. could I see him as prey? honestly no, especially not with that tongue. this man can summon daggers with a snap of his fingers, so unless he's somehow willing, there is no way you'll survive his onslaught to your insides.
Link: the hero of legend and owner of the triforce of courage. yes yes yes. Hes been hurt in many games, been saved by others many times too. so absolutly i can see him needing some rescue and rest inside an allies coughsidoncough stomach.
Midna: we meet her in her cursed imp form. She's bossy and mischievous, but not invincible. I have daydreamed many times about her when I played twilight princess. and yea I could see her needing to be eaten and kept safe from the harsh light of the day/light spirits. she wouldn't be happy but she would show appreciation for it once she realized why its happening. Her twilight form is much more powerful so I honestly don't believe that that form would need protection.
Sidon: BIG SHARK MAN. A favorite of many for his award winning smile and large stature and larger heart. I adore this Zora so much and many others agree that he is a kindhearted pred. Could he be prey? sure in dire circumstances but he would have to be shrunk in the first place for anyone to even have a chance of getting him down. he wouldn't mind as long as he was made aware that it was safe.
The imprisioned: A hulking beast that is the cursed form of the demon king. its literally a giant spiky egg with only 2 legs and a giant mouth. I have pred crushes on a lot of the boss monsters but this one is the most memorable cause duh. and no this is a monster with dark magic. no eating.
Ganondorf: specifically tears of the kingdom, man has a DILF body. his story is so cool and he takes great pleasure in the suffering of others, being above them. he is an amazing villainous pred, but never prey.
Abigale (from stardew valley): my crystal eating wife! a girl with sass and a kind adventurous heart, maybe some magic too. A gal who is fine being eaten or eating the farmer when either are in trouble. She adores the idea and its like a new adventure every time since everything is moving and stuff. She would be very thankful for the save even if it is a bit unconventional.
Reaper leviathan (subnautica): Giant monster everyone knows and fear. An apex predator of the sea. could it be eaten? maybe when shrunk, but good luck. Those teeth and pinchers are wicked sharp.
Emperor leviathan: A beautiful smart creature of the deep, who wanted nothing more than to ensure her children could go out into the world. a kind pred who has minor healing properties thanks to that special enzyme. Not one to be eaten though as one of the largest creatures in the entire game. even her babies are the size of an adult human.
Al-An: I totally haven't been making my own architect OC for this exact kind of thing noooo. in my heart I like to think that he would be a good protective if not a bit oblivious pred. if he were much smaller, maybe he could be eaten but the body shape and density would make things very difficult. also with his ability to just teleport out if he was unwilling.
John J Juniper (I expect you to die): HHHHHHhhhhhhhhh charismatic preds are a weakness dude. This amazing actor turned villain had some of the best lines and subtle hints for just about anything in this game. he would adore eating an unexperienced agent. He wouldn't take well to being eaten, especially by an agent, he would squirm and kick and make all kinds of comments. maybe he will eventually calm down but that's only if he knows he's stuck/safe and if he knows/trusts the person who ate him.
Doc Ock (marvel Spiderman villain): those arms make good restraints and the energy he gives off is just to perfect. he was a kind man before the implants. and with the no way home movie he was able to regain his senses. I love both corrupt or kind preds so this is amazing. You would have to make sure that he (and his arms) were comfortable with being eaten otherwise you could easily be skewered. in a dangerous situation when he would need help, yea he could understand. maybe study it himself later.
Remus (sanders sides): this guy is literally intrusive thoughts personified. he would happily eat or be eaten by anything/anybody. he finds it a crazy idea and adventure. really odd prey that asks some insane questions. he does get into trouble but since he's imaginary he can handle whatever happens. he appreciates that you care enough about him to eat him, like some crazed beloved animal.
Beel (obey me): The personification of gluttony. like come on. He already hints at eating the player so many times its just normal conversation with him. I think that if he was shrunk and some how satiated he would be ok being eaten, he understand what its like to be so hungry you could eat a person or 5. If he was in danger yet somehow you weren't then he would be ok with it, if you were both in danger he'd be more likely to eat you to protect you. he'd rather die protecting others, since he failed once before.
Floyd (twisted wonderland): This crazy eel twin loves to play and mess with other guppies around him, so of course he loves to scare people via vore. probably a more common occurrence for merfolk since swallowing things whole is a common thing fish do. he would not be happy in a stomach, mostly just because its so boring. he has quite a bit of power to him so be careful cause he could cause some damage if he decides to be violent.
jade: The more silent and deadly of the twins. he is a mastermind of mischief and manipulation, enjoying the torment of others. He only consumes others when truly hungry or he needs a special kind of power trip after some form of immense disappointment. he might not seem too upset about being eaten if he was in danger, but know that he is plotting to get you back in some way for this. even if its safe you gave him a decent scare, its only fair he returns the favor~
Azul: The caecilian business man himself. a sly pred who doesn't indulge on others very often, he likes to think he's above that compared to the twins habits. Nevertheless, when he gets a special opportunity he wont turn it down. he has been eaten in the past before. and he vowed it would never happen again, outside of Floyd and Jade. So you would have to be very close to him otherwise it's going to be very difficult and afterward your life will be hell from the Octavinelle group. if youre someone he trusts and he was truely in danger, he would curl up inside and shutter, its hard to admit he needed help, and in such a way as traumatic as this. poor dude will need some time to recover.
Sun/moon (security breach): the day care assistants have such an amazing personality to them! so many fun stories for them too out there. sun isn't much of a pred but will be in dire situations. meanwhile moon is very much a pred and will gobble up troublemakers to detain them more often than not. gives them a good scare too. both would hate being eaten, the wetness of insides doesn't mix well with an animatronic body. even if you ate sun they would change to moon in the darkness inside, unless provided with a light. sun is miffed and a bit more sassy about it, more upset at the cleaning he will have to do. and moon is similar but more dangerous. if unwilling he will rip apart soft insides.
Eye of Cthulhu (terraria): again I'm a sucker for monsters that are mostly mouth. fun monster pred. could you eat him, not really since it has the ability to phase through the ground and objects easy enough.
Leshy (inscryption): The scribe of beasts, who acts like one himself when in control of the game. the way he grabs the player and makes them go through hard animalistic trials and sacrifices, it only makes sense that he would make a good pred. likely describing everything like the DM that he is. He would not be happy about being eaten, even in a dire situation, he hates being overpowered, finding it unbelievable in many cases. would he be understanding, yes since of course his whole moto is "sacrifices must be made".
Extra!! my soul mate @abellyfulloffriends my beloved switch. he protects me and I protect him on hard days. and yes I would absolutely tuck him away and protect him when he needs it cause he would do the same for me. Its a wonderful thing we have. Just wanted to add this in cause I'm a sap.

Crossroads of the Fallen King: The Sundelions of Arien
❁ Verse: Silmarillion x Legend of Zelda Totk/BotW ❁ Pairing: Mairon x Arien ❁ Synopsis: Mairon has a favour to ask of his former lover. ❁ Warnings: / ❁ Oneshot (~1.4k) | SWG
AN: Here's my contribution to the Crossroads of the Fallen King challenge! This oneshot takes place in my TotK/BotW AU and deals with the Sundelions, Arien as their caretaker and the key role they play in healing wounds dealt by Void creatures like Ungoliant and her spiders. For a more detailed explanation, see the end notes down below.
"Arien."
The sound of Mairon's voice is pleasant as always, and she listens before she knows it, ignoring the dread and anger welling up within her chest. Many times has Arien imagined what it will be like when he finally decides to show his face again, how she will confront him for his betrayal, how she will be wiser and not let him fool her ever again.
She doesn't have to look at him. She knows he's standing there, smiling as if nothing had happened, as if he hadn't broken her heart.
And she knows that these days he only comes to see her if he wants something.
Arien has no patience for it.
"What do you want?" she asks as coldly as she can and refuses to face him. Stubbornly, she keeps her gaze on the black and golden flowers she's tending to for her lady, the miraculous Sundelions that can produce the only known cure to the Void's Gloom; and suddenly she has an idea why her former lover chose to appear in a domain where he's not welcome.
The fact that Mairon was able to reach her without being seen or detected worries her, though less for her sake and more for the Maiar of Vána and Yavanna who cannot match his fell fire.
He has taken a step closer, and Arien feels an uncomfortable heat surging through her veins. Is it his gaze on her that she feels, she wonders, or is he already looking at his prize.
She caresses the Sundelions' fragile petals as if in reassurance, and she knows his eyes follow her movements.
"Look at me."
Mairon's request, uttered softly and without the edge of command that so often accompanies his speech, startles Arien so much that she does. She sees the same face she knew many years ago, yet marred by a blackened wound across his left cheek, as if struck by a poisoned blade. Similar wounds are on his neck, chest, arms and hands, and pity overcomes her before she knows it.
"What happened to you?" she gasps and rushes to his side. "Did the Dark One...?"
For a moment Arien hopes that he will answer yes. If it was Melkor who hurt him, maybe he would finally see the error of his ways and come back to her. But as quickly as that thought has crossed her mind, she begins to abhor it. She knows well how dangerous the Dark Vala can be and doesn't want her fiery kin, fallen as they all may be, to face the wrath of his freezing storm.
"No. I was hurt while fighting monsters from the Void; with his help, if I may add," Mairon says, holding up his hands and looking at his damaged palms.
Arien takes his hands into hers. He remains eerily calm and composed, and the lack of any wincing or flinching makes her hope he isn't in too much pain.
"Are you sure this is what happened?" she asks gently. "Are you sure you are not blaming something else to cover for him?"
"He hasn't hurt me and would never do so. It is as I said."
There is no anger in Mairon's voice, but his tone is firm. Arien isn't sure if she should admire his conviction or think him a fool for trusting and defending Melkor.
And even if he didn't hurt him himself, he let him get hurt, she thinks, nodding to herself as if to reassure her conscience that the Dark Vala is indeed to blame for this mishap as well.
Gingerly, she examines his wounds and finds that Mairon hasn't lied to her. Injuries from Void creatures have unfortunately become more common in recent times, prompting her lady Estë to instruct her Maiar accordingly and request a steady supply of Sundelions. The pervasive decay infesting their once thought unbreakable weapons must cause him as much ire and stress as his former lord Aulë, she muses.
"You want me to heal you," she says. It's not a question; she is certain that she knows the reason for his visit now. At least he was wise enough to come alone and not bring his miserable master with him.
"Ah, you don't have to." Mairon looks up at her, an amicable smile on his lips. "A few of these lovely flowers would already suffice. I can handle the rest myself; after all it would be rude of me to ask for too much from you."
His words seem fair, his voice is smooth. It's all so perfectly easy and reasonable that Arien pauses, narrowing her eyes in suspicion. Why would he not take the freely given help of a Maia serving both Vána and Estë, he who has never been a healer.
Unless... There is a reason why he wants to take the flowers himself.
"Is your lord hurt as well?" Arien asks sharply.
There is a flash of something unreadable in Mairon's eyes, gone before she can see it for what it is.
"Of course not, why do you ask?" He laughs lightly. Too calm, too serene. It doesn't ease Arien's worries in the slightest. "You would not feel very inclined to help him if it were the case, no?"
"Are you lying to me because it is in fact the case and you want to use my compassion for you to take my flowers so you can help him?"
At last mild annoyance clouds Mairon's fair features, and the ancient familiarity of seeing him thus makes it strangely comforting. Endearing even. Yet Arien keeps her guard up while trying to glimpse past his.
"You have seen for yourself that I am wounded as I told you," he says. The corners of his mouth quirk upwards again as if to regain his smile, but it's more akin to a haughty smirk this time.
Arien finds a strange sort of pleasure in breaking through Mairon's barriers and ripping off his carefully crafted masks, even if what she finds is less fair than the faces she remembers.
"It is not like I fail to understand the thought," he continues, "deny me in order to deny Melkor, just in case. That is certainly something he would think to do to spite former lovers as well."
Her own control slips, her hands sizzling against his as her fána heats up. To imply that she would stoop to Melkor's level — and yet, even though Arien knows full well the intent behind such a well-placed comment, she cannot deny that Mairon has a point.
"We wouldn't have that problem if you just agreed to let me heal you instead," she snaps.
"Perhaps, though I did tell you why I didn't feel it was appropriate of me to ask for that." Mairon has regained his calm, controlled composure with infuriating professionalism.
It's not the first time that Arien has wondered if speaking to her is some sort of task or game for him that he completes with the same excellence as his other work.
"You are going to come with me," she orders, still fuming. "We will go to my house and I will heal you properly and you will stay as long as it takes."
"If that is your wish, I shall."
Mairon's smile is as bright as Arien's fury. She lets go of his hands and links their arms; he knows the way to her house, yet she feels the need to hold on to him lest he slip away too soon. At least his wounds will make him stay with her for a while, even if his powers and strange new magic seems to be mostly unscathed and only his fána is damaged.
There is a strange sort of triumph in taking her wayward former lover home. She even begins to enjoy herself once she takes a few Sundelions to brew a healing potion, applying it to every inch of blackened skin and adding a few spoons to a bowl of hot soup that she feeds him.
Thus absorbed in this brief moment of reconciliation with the Maia she once wished to spend eternity with, Arien remains blissfully unaware of the shadow that comes over her meadows at night, cruelly rips out a handful of her beloved flowers and disappears with his prey.
End notes: In Zelda TotK, Sundelions are a plant ingredient used to cook healing items that can restore damaged caused by Gloom, an evil and harmful substance that essentially drains the life of its victims. It causes decay in weapons and permanently reduces Link's health, making him unable to heal himself fully until he can get rid of the Gloom damage. I felt like Void and Void creatures like Ungoliant would be an excellent fit for Gloom and Gloom-affected monsters, as well as Arien as a servant of Vána and Estë growing and maintaining Sundelions.
Thanks for reading! ♡

Blue Skies and Dark Clouds
Sky's backstory! (Ao3)
(And unfortunately because it's a Backstory I and everyone else must suffer the sense that things aren't Resolved lol)
Summary: Zelda & Link have always been inseparable. Now, Link fights Demise, the creature that separated them, even as he's on the verge of collapse... when the battle is done, Link just can't seem to slot himself back next to Zelda as smoothly as they used to.
Warnings: injury, ignoring injury, spoilers for the end of Skyward Sword but like. So is the comic. Zelda has Hylia Guilt annnd... angst. Ye.
-
There was a time before Demons and Goddess reborn. Before endless cycles of battle. When the sky was blue and cloudy. The air crisp. Skyloft had felt much bigger back then. When it was the only place they knew. When the place beneath the clouds was a legend, a fantasy.
The little orphan boy followed the headmasters daughter closely, as he often did when they were young. Small hand in hers. The pair were still equally small, and had recently traded wardrobes. Link's old dress looked much nicer on Zelda, that was for sure. Link also much preferred Zelda's old tunic shirt on himself. It was especially nice because it smelled like her still.
“Hey- er- Zelda!” Groose said, waving excitedly at her. His red hair was tied up in a little ponytail right at the top of his head.
Link leaned over to whisper to Zelda “Umbrella.”
She laughed, “Link, be nice.”
Groose frowned, putting his hands on his hips. “What did he just say?”
“Oh, he's just being silly.” Zelda said with another giggle.
“Hmph. Well, I just learned how to do a loop-d-loop with my loftwing! Do ya wanna watch?”
Link shifted to hide behind Zelda.
“Oh, not right now. Link and I are gonna go looking for butterflies,” Zelda said. She gestured her head at Link behind her.
“...Oh.” Groose mumbled. He frowned, folding his arms, “Well when are you not doing something with Link?”
Zelda considered. She shrugged, “I don't know?”
“Uhg, why do you even hang out with him!? All he does is stare at clouds and catch bugs! How is that any fun? He doesn't even talk!” Groose complained, throwing his hands up.
Link hid further behind Zelda. She frowned, stepping forward, “He's my best friend! He's super sweet and funny and super cool! So maybe you should shut up! I don't think I wanna be your friend if you can't be friends with Link!”
Groose pouted, “Well…n- Nevermind then!” he turned and ran.
Link watched him go, then looked at Zelda. “Thanks,” he whispered.
“I'll always protect you!” Zelda exclaimed, turning to take his hand and raise it to the sky with hers. “We'll be best friends forever and ever and nobody is ever gonna get between us!”
Link smiled and nodded firmly.
-*-
10 years later and nothing would get between him and his best friend. Not even the Demon King.
The sky was dark. Oppressive dark magic filled the endless world of storm. Lightning made of pure rage and malice crashed through the swirling dark clouds.
The Master Sword raised Skyward like a beacon of defiance. The lightning struck down upon him. Ae channeled all the boiling rage of his own and redirected it against the Demon King. Before it could consume him.
Link ignored the pain crashing through his body. Ignored the insistent chime from Fi reminding him he was very close to outright collapsing or even dying. Ae could do this. He would be fast enough, he would be strong enough, he would be smart enough. Nothing. Would. Take Zelda. From him. Again!
He slashed repeatedly into Demise's chest. His blood boiled in his veins. His gaze sharp and focused. Aer breaths made with careful precision.
Demise was strong and firm. His movements sharp and heavy. Link's legs shook with the efforts to remain standing as Demise's blade struck against his shield. Link flipped out of Demise's range, eyes flickering at the demonic skies. There was no holy light here to call. Only electric power and anger.
Link rose his sword Skyward as Demise strode toward him. Stalking aer like prey.
Link grunted and stumbled slightly against the force of pure energy crashing against his blade. Fi captured it, sparks crackling dangerously close to his skin. He panted, swallowing down the fear closing around his throat. He swung his sword toward Demise as he rose his own. The blades cracked together.
Lightning erupted over Link's body, the crash shocking his senses. His body seizing from the God's power. It felt nothing like the electric powers found in the Desert. It was seared into him with pure contempt for his existence.
A buzz in the ozone. Hair standing on end. Demise's electrified blade struck against his chest, pushing Link back into the pool of thin waters. Link could barely feel aer face. He breathed out slowly.
Ae struggled to take another breath in.
The sky was hazy and dark. Get up. Get up. GET. UP. He refused to slow down now.
Link rolled as Demise's blade crashed down against where he would've been. Ae tumbled into a stand, pulling out a half-full bottle of red liquid. He downed all the flower-sweet crimson potion in one gulp. Ae choked on it, feeling it buzz against the fuzz in his brain and the cotton in his mouth.
He dodged another attempt at a blow, flipping backwards. Ae dropped the empty bottle entirely. He grabbed the Master Sword and thrust it to the Sky again. His eyes focused even as his vision seemed to play tricks with him.
Lighting cracked around the blade. Zelda's hair golden and long like a flash of light.
Link yelled and sliced the electric power at the God with breakneck speed. Zelda's smile as she demonstrated an arching motion with a wooden sword.
Zelda. Limp and unconscious, warm brown color drained from her face. Her body draped in Groose's arms. Link hit Demise with a flurry of quick, precise strikes. Aer blood pounded in aer veins. Fi's blade nearly glowed, shining and swift against the shadows of the Demon King.
He pushed Demise onto his back with a splash of ink dark waters. He screamed a yell of rage and lept. Electricity cracked around Fi's blade. The pulsing rage of it almost seemed to follow his whim, now. He drove the sword into Demise's chest. He was strangely still for a flash. The sky rolled with thunder. Link flipped back. Ready.
Demise stumbled back to a stand, wavering. His blade rose, then fell, crashing to the ground. Ghirahim's sword form vanished in a flurry of dark smoke. Link glared intently. There had to be another move. Something the demon had prepared. A beastal form? Like the Imprisoned?
Demise panted, almost laughing, “Extraordinary. You stand as a paragon to your kind, human.”
Link stared, unsettled. He shifted, keeping his sword close and ready. Briefly, he glanced around for a sign that Ghirahim might materialise to attack him from above or behind.
“You fight like no man or demon I have ever known. Though this is not the end.”
They both labored for breath. Link couldn't see any inkling of a transformation. His scales shimmered slightly, but not with dark power. It seemed more like light, crackling and overpowering the dark that created the demon.
“My hate… never perishes. It is born anew in a cycle with no end! I will rise again!” Demise exclaimed to the windless world.
Link's brows furrowed deeper. His breaths felt shallow and difficult. He ignored blistering pain shooting through his arm and hand. He would see this through. Ae had to stay standing. He had to. Just. Stay standing.
Demise raised his hand slowly, pointing, “Those like you… Those who share the blood of the goddess and the spirit of the hero… they are eternally bound to this curse.” Demise heaved a laboured breath. “An Incarnation of my hatred shall ever follow your kind, dooming them to wander a blood-soaked sea of darkness for all time!” The Demon King laughed, maniacal as his form shimmered like a ghost.
Link's heart pounded heavily against his chest. A booming painful cacophony. He held firm. Ready and alert even as Demise vanished into a puff of smoke.
Fi chimed. Link glanced at the glowing sword, his friend, expression softening. Ae shifted to raise the sword Skyward, slower than ae usually would. His arm ached and stung with the effort.
The lingering darkness gathered into the blade. Fi spoke into the endless sky, finally turning a peaceful blue. “I have confirmed the eradication of the Demon King.” Link let out a heaved sigh of relief, looking up to the clouds. He felt the lingering tension in his body fade. His vision swirled and wavered, the blues and whites hazy. Ae felt close to collapse. He stiffened back up again. Ae could pull it together. Ae needed to get to Zelda. Check if she was alright. Prove to Impa and his goddess that he and Fi were successful. Prove to Zelda she was finally safe.
“His residual consciousness has been absorbed into the Master Sword…” Fi said softly. His sword arm shook slightly. He glanced at Fi. “And is now sealed away.” Link closed his eyes, and light returned him to the sealed grounds.
-*-
“Hey, wake up sleepy head.” A soft voice said. Gentle fingers brushing against his forehead. Zelda. His brows pinched and he turned further into the mattress… Which didn't feel quite like a mattress. It was warm and the fabric was wrong. Not to mention the vague sense everything was moving.
“Link? Please wake up,” Zelda said, sounding more frightened, sad. Ae groaned, shifting to open his eyes. Zelda seemed like she was glowing. A blur of pale blonde and a white dress. Just how often did he need reminding she was a reincarnated goddess? So far beyond his reach… Now she had to glow to be beyond his sight even with her next to him?
“Oh, oh good- She said. She definitely looked like she was walking. Why were they moving if he was asleep-
“He's gonna be fine,” Groose said somewhere above him, “He was moving and grooving just fine for at least 20 minutes, right?” Oh. Groose was carrying aer. They'd said goodbye to Fi, to Impa- twice- and he'd looked back at the Master Sword and… then… then…. The world had lurched upward and everything was bright and blank.
“I'm just worried his injuries are worse than they look… Goodness, his face-” Zelda's hand brushed against aer cheek. It stung. He made a soft whine, pulling away slightly. “Oh, oh! I'm so sorry-” she stammered, sounding a lot more like she used to when she fretted over aer. Ae giggled despite aerself. He missed her so much… He tried to reach for her hand, but his right side felt pinned, tingling with pain and exertion. He shifted and brought his left hand to her hand instead.
“We're going to take you home, okay? It's going to be okay! It's fine, you're fine.” Zelda moved her hand away and became a blur of motion. With the little hiccups Link had to assume she was wiping away more tears…
Link sighed softly. He briefly considered demanding Groose let him walk on his own… but… this felt nice. Ae was exhausted anyway. So instead he pulled on Groose's shirt to get him to move closer to Zelda. Groose didn't quite catch the intentions, and instead he leaned his big dumb head down to obscure all of Link's currently very limited vision.
He glared lightly.
“You look like a pirate with that squinty look you're doing.” Groose commented. Link smacked his chest. “See Zelda, ae's fine! He probably only collapsed because he's been running on no sleep for like a month.”
“Ohhhhh,” She whined, not sounding comforted at all.
Link reached to her again but instead of Zelda's touch, ae felt a billow of wind and heard an unmistakable chime-
“Woah! Ally-up!” Groose exclaimed with a whoop and they were flung upwards into the air. Link completely lost sight of Zelda in the whirlwind. A sense of panic and dread clutched his chest and his throat.
Groose held onto him tightly. Groose whistled. A screech from a loftwing. Link yelped as he got nearly squished between a body of feathers and Groose. “Sorry sorry-” Groose whispered. “That could've been gentler.”
Link struggled to adjust aer self enough to get into a more secure and comfortable position. “Stop squirming, you're gonna knock us off balance. it'll only be a few minutes.” Groose grumbled.
Link snorted a huff. A red blur swooped above them, shrieking.
“WOAH you big red brute, he's fine! I've got him!” Groose exclaimed to Crimson.
Link wanted to clarify just who the big red brute was here, Crimson or Groose, but the joke couldn't make it past a wheeze in his throat.
Link hooked his left arm around Groose's shoulder and pulled himself up closer to a sitting position. Groose and his Loftwing both squawked in protest. The world spun and blurred around him. Something wooshed back and forth in his ears. It didn't feel like the wind. His own heartbeat, maybe. He reached up to his Loftwing's beak, giving him a gentle pat. Crimson churred, satisfied, and backed away, swooping to fly under them.
“Oh. Thanks,” Groose grumbled, “...Dunderhead.”
Link didn't have the energy to argue. Blue. Blue blue blue- why was Zelda's loftwing the color of the sky, why was she so hard to see- “Zelda-” Link rasped. Voice quiet and scratchy. It felt like the first time ae had spoken aloud since Zelda had fallen through the clouds…It might have been.
“Oh. She's just ahead of us. She's speeding like a firecracker too, I think she's gonna grab some people to meet us when we land.”
Link struggled to look into the distance enough to spot her. It was harder to breathe in the sky. The air thin, his breaths shallow and wheezing. The blue skies all blurred back out into darkness. Aer head lulled before ae could stop it.
“Link?!”
Blur. Grainy moments. Their voices were so loud but so distant. His body heavy and light all at once. It was just too hard to wake up…
“OH I think he's waking up!” Zelda shouted over her shoulder. Practically in his ears, but he didn't care. Her face was much closer and thankfully much clearer.
Footsteps thundered into the room. Groose, Link assumed, from the stumbling sound. A slower footfall entered shortly after, Headmaster Gaepora maybe?
Link didn't turn to look. Ae just smiled softly at Zelda. She smiled back, eyes teary. Ae wished she could stop crying… it was over. She said so herself.
Link reached up to wipe her tears. He frowned softly as he noted the bandage wrapped around the entirety of his right hand and arm. It hadn't been that bad… right?
Zelda leaned against his touch, grabbing his left wrist with both her hands. “Stop scaring me, you jerk.”
He slowly pulled his hands from hers, signing, “I'm okay. Tired.”
“Have you really not slept for a month? I know better than to trust Groose at his word but-”
Groose huffed, but didn't interrupt with protest. …Weird, Link decided.
Zelda brushed a thumb under his left eye, where dark circles were very likely to be. He closed his eyes, sighing. “You really look so tired.” She said softly.
Ae couldn't really dignify that with a response. Sleep had become a battle of its own lately. Dreams of the myriad of ways he could've lost Zelda had been near constant any time he'd slept long enough to dream.
She leaned over and hugged him, voice lowering to a whisper. “I'm sorry. I didn't- you're too kind. I would hate me if I was you. So much. I made you do such dangerous and horrible things in my name-”
“No-” Link whispered… Don't say that-
Zelda leaned back so she could look at him.
“I trust-” His signs were cut off without his input. His arm shook, tingling with pain pain pain- How did he ignore it before? Electricity seizing his heart with a slash of a blade. Burns curling against his hand-
“Link?”
The shaking slowed. Ae swallowed heavily, staring at aer hand.
“Zelda, may I?” Gaepora asked softly.
She nodded, making space for Gaepora to sit beside them. Zelda leaned into her father's side, sighing softly. Gaepora smiled at her, kissing the top of her head before turning back to Link.
“Link, what caused these injuries? I haven't seen anything like this before.”
He sighed, forming the words carefully with his hands, far too focused on the motions to feel anything more than monotone. “Lightning. Sword. Demon.” He hesitated, then mimed raising the Master Sword up, and the crackle of lightning traveling through it. Trapped by Fi. Then a strike to his blade, and chaos, lightning jumping from his sword and through his arm.
“Ah. That explains the intensity of the burns on your hand.” Gaepora took his right hand gently to look at, carefully. “Do you feel anything?”
Link snorted, grimacing a bit exaggeratedly, “Yes. O W.”
Gaepora shook his head, very gently squeezing his pinky, one of the least injured fingers, “Can you feel the touch, though?”
He frowned, focusing. Slowly, ae nodded.
Gaepora hummed sceptically, letting go, “I'm taking that as ‘a little’.”
Link sighed, shifting to lay flat, looking up at the ceiling. Ae supposed the scepticism was fair.
“Well. The main thing I'm concerned with is how shallow your breathing sounds and how hard your heart seemed to be working earlier. The burns and cuts should heal, but we have no way to know how that lightning will affect you.” Gaepora said softly, “We'll keep watching you, okay? Just be careful.”
Link nodded, closing his eyes again.
-*-
The woosh and thunk of the ax against the wood was pleasantly familiar, even if Link wasn't the one cutting. He watched Zelda take a final whack at the tree. It crackled and fell neatly. He sighed. She was getting the hang of it very quickly. She didn't even need any advice. With the dangerous section done, he decided he might as well help more than just supervise. The site they'd set up building the house was within shouting distance. He carefully grabbed a finished bundle of wood and started walking.
“Link! What are you doing? Be careful!” Zelda shouted as she rushed toward him.
He groaned loudly. He was going to start screaming every time he heard those words. He continued walking. He was being careful with this batch of wood, thank you very much. He wasn't even using his bandaged hand.
Zelda grabbed the wood from him, “Here, I can do it-” She said with a smile. After she'd already taken the wood. She adjusted her grip, “Do you remember what part of the frame this was for?”
Link frowned, “I had it!” He protested, throwing his hands up.
“I know!” Zelda said, smiling far too wide, “It's fine though, I can do it! It's barely anything compared to what you've done…”
He looked up to the sky, but he knew the Goddess wasn't going to guide him. … She was trying, however. He sighed. “It's for the right wall.”
“Oh perfect!” Zelda started walking, and Link sighed, following.
“So you just want me to find the right woods, and that's it, huh?” ae mumbled.
“You really should be resting, I have it handled by now-” Zelda started. She looked at him, and something about his furrowed expression must have made her smile fall slightly. She turned to look forward, “You helped a lot with the plans, you're really doing more than you need to!”
“I'm a woodworker,” Link said as an explanation. He needed to do something with his hands. Ae couldn't just sit around while everyone else helped build their house.
“And you're fantastic at it, but that doesn't mean we can't help you!” Zelda said, “Please… just let me help you.” She said softly.
Ae sighed. With another glance up at the sky, ae nodded. Silence stretched between them. It felt awkward… When did silence between them start feeling so uncomfortable?
“I love you.” Link mumbled, just to say it. To fill the space. To confirm they were still best friends.
“I know.” Zelda said, voice thick with some sort of sadness. A guilt he couldn't figure out how to stop her from believing. “I love you too.”
He watched her for a moment, carrying the burden he had intended to take. Ae sighed, gripping his bandaged hand. It stung slightly still, sending a tingle through his whole arm. “I know,” he nearly whispered, feeling like he had to force it out... Strange, how he had to grow out of his childhood silence all over again.
“Oh there you two are!” Groose shouted with a wave. “Look!” He gestured to the house's frame, nearly complete already.
Link smiled softly, “You're insane.”
“Oh wow. Impressive work Groose!” Zelda cheered. She laughed, running over to hug Groose. He blinked, face flushing bright red over her shoulder. “It's going to be so beautiful!” Zelda cheered, squeezing him.
Link laughed and meandered around the structure. He smiled, looking it over. Groose was a fantastic engineer. He sat in the grass, closing his eyes to imagine the finished work. He could just picture Zelda's fiber art hanging in the rafters and walls. Groose's little workout space in a corner. His work bench in another- his hand started shaking again. He opened his eyes, feeling a wetness well in the corners. Would he ever get back to whittling? It certainly wasn't particularly safe with a shaky hand. ...A lot of things weren't, it seemed.
A warm body settled next to him, and then another on his other side. Zelda leaned in, “Are you okay? Is it hurting? Do you need something?”
Link swallowed and shook aer head. “I'm fine.” He sucked in a breath, rubbing his eyes gently. “Just got lost in my thoughts.”
Groose nodded softly, “Sounds like you.”
Link laughed, “I guess it does.” Lost. He was always lost, wasn't he?
Zelda nuzzled in and hugged him. “Can we help you through them?” She said softly.
“No,” Link whispered impulsively. Surprising himself. Zelda looked startled, confused. Ae bit aer lip. “It's nothing bad. I was just imagining what it'd look like when it's done.” He pulled a smile on, glancing between the pair of them.
“It'll be fantastic," Zelda said softly.
“It'll be Groozsume!” Groose announced.
“That doesn't sound like what you think it sounds like,” Link laughed.
“Shut up, it totally does.” Groose laughed, ruffling Link's hair.
The trio laughed and snuggled together.
“It'll be beautiful,” Link whispered softly. He sighed, closing his eyes. The breeze tossed his hair. Warmth on either side buffetting any windchill. Zelda's perfume was still calming. But he could feel her nervous energy, her suffocating concern curled against him.
Yet… Ae would always prefer to suffer her nerves and worry over not having her near at all. He just needed her near. They'd figure the rest out. Eventually.

Winx Dreams 01
I have around four years of logged Winx club related dreams, so I thought it would be fun to share them as a lot of them have plots. 10 per post probably cause there are a lot of them.
Not gonna share the ones I don't remember at all though. Which is a few, and they are boring ones, belive me.
Starting with the oldest ones~
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°
1.
Stella and I were walking around a snowy place. I remember it just mainly being bright, pure white snow with nothing really. Just white.
I think in the dream it was Diamond.
Then (vaguely remember this) Stormy and Icy showed up and just started attacking Stella and I. Like, what did we do? (Darcy was doing something elsewhere I guess cause gurl was absent).
Due to one of Stormy's attacks I fell unconscious (rude) and I may have been laying on the snow.
Then Tecna like the goddess she is appeared and hovers down from the sky glowing. Like, white pulsating like glowing and started helping Stella and I.
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°
2.
Two very small dreams.
One, a Pokemon called Drugalge was trying to drown me for no reason whatsoever. Tecna saved me from that (she's the impulse control in dreams apparently).
Also, don't remember this dream, but apparently, the Trix were trying to steal my magic using the Whisperian Crystals. This will happen a lot in further dreams. The beef they have is unreal.
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°
3.
Oh this dream. Somehow, I remember it even though four years ago and all.
The Winx and I were in my house, wandering around, looking for the Talent Thief (World of Winx reference). This was taking awhile so in my dream I decided, yes, this would be a good time to go to my bedroom and chil.
Then I saw the Talent Thief (yellow hood, blue hair dude) run outside the hallway and I yelled to the Winx like "bitches he here!" Though the Talent Thief raced down the stairs.
I vaulted down the stairs.
Over the railing at the top all the way to the bottom.
No bodily damage.
That's just how my dream logic works. I can usually levitate and vault down stairs without damage.
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°
4.
How the hell can I remember these? But this one is a good one. Once again the Trix were beefing with me.
There was this weird arena/competition thing. It was circular and shades of brown. There were also holes in the walls where someone must throw a ball into to score something.
My school class at the time was there (the only person I remember was seeing someone I hated back then. A rude boy child with no filter).
I was in the game and working with my team (I think there were teams) and the Trix were just leering menacingly at me (from where the judges were or smth). In my dreams, I somehow take the place of my OC (who the Trix despise so... this tracks). So they were just watching mEnAcInGLy to see if I had dark magic.
I could also transport in this dream but the effort it took to do so was unreal and kinda annoying.
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°
5.
Mirta and Lucy were actually in this dream. I barely remember it but we were in a snowy place similar to the snowy areas in the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild.
We were just wandering.
There might have been wolves.
We were also trying to get away from the Trix (who weren't present, but that was the goal) cause once again, they had beef with us.
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°
6.
Taking the place of my OC in this once because my brain likes to see me go through that amazing character development in dreams.
So somehow (don't know how) I was transported to Magix. But it was despressing. The grass was dead, there were no trees besides some shrubs, and everything was brown. The sky was a brownish gray.
In the dream, it was during the siege of the Army of Decay, and also I couldn't see anyone around. It was like Bloom didn't do shit and that the Trix were on the borderline of total rule over it.
I found a creature (not sure what it looked like whatsoever) that was cursed by Stormy. Also don't know why. She just felt like doing girly things.
I tried to cast a spell three times to absorb the dark magic (Total Dark Absorption spell as it was called) and on the third time it worked.
But that wasn't a very braincell-showing move.
In the dream, that revealed me as (once again, taking the place of my OC) the Fairy of Dark Arts, and so I was running for my life at some point cause I revealed my identity. The beef is real and is ever-lasting.
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°
7.
Okay so season 6 dream.
The Winx, myself, and I think human Daphne were floating in some sort of white void area above city scrapers. But we could only pretty much just see pure white.
We were also in Butterflix forms (should've been Bloomix, but anyways).
We were fighting again Acheron/not-really-Acheron. I don't know who he actually was, but in my dream I just knew it wasn't Acheron.
Gotta love that vague-ness.
There were also Acheron clones. Tecna and I created magic rings around a lot of them.
That's it.
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°
8.
This dream was apparently vivid when I had it, but I can't remember it much at all.
So it took place at around season 1, ep 18. I was in Mike and Vanessa's house for some reason, and then the Trix came with Knut to cause some damage.
Darcy was also creating wolves out of shadows and they had glowing purple eyes. That was a badass moment and she was slaying.
But my dream self's logic was not to find a way out of the house. Or to fight. No. She chose to hide in a laundry basket.
That didn't even hide me completely.
Dream self was scared as hell, cause I thought I was going to die. I wrote down that I was shaking apparently in the dream.
The Trix did find me though.
Then the dream ended.
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°
9.
OH THIS ONE YES. THIS IS ONE OF THE PEAK ONES.
(It somehow has a beginning, middle, and end unlike a lot of my dreams where they don't have a ending).
So! In this dream, the Trix had stolen everyone's magic for themselves. The Winx's, and everyone else's. Magix didn't look like Magix. It just looked like random places I've seen merged together.
There was a group of teen girls (including me. Gotta have a main character moment cause otherwise, the dreams are useless) that the Trix suspected were fairies and secretly had magic. Also, no one really questioned the Trix much.
They were the rulers/government basically.
You just listened to them.
So to test whether this group of people were fairies, there were several tasks. If we completed them, we were allowed to leave.
But the tasks were impossible. The only way to actually complete them was to use magic, so the Trix were basically using them to see who was a fairy or not.
There was one task (don't remember what it was) where I had tried to run. There was a path outside the building where the task, with a few bushes and planted flowers, that I tried to run.
Then Darcy showed up (annoying) and cast a spell that put me under a lot of mental pain, so I couldn't run further.
Later on in another task, I found out I could levitate. And what do you need to levitate?
MAGIC! So LOL I was DONE FOR.
I ran for the second time because I didn't know whether they'd kill me or hurt me or not. I mean, it was guaranteed they'd hurt me so I ran.
I ran through a house with a lot of twisting rooms. It just looked like a normal house though. They somehow couldn't catch me even though they have magic (but eh, plotholes) and so they started chanting a spell after stopping their chase that would supposedly kill me.
I kept running of course cause I didn't want to die.
But LOL the Trix chanted the spell wrong. It ended up giving everyone their magic back.
The dream ended with the Winx and I sitting on a sidewalk street happily, and everyone was creating small wisps of magic, enjoying getting their magic back.
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°
10.
Okay so, the Winx and I were fighting the Trix as per usual in these dreams. It was in a forest with towering trees, and it was slightly dim.
(Skull Kid from Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask appeared a few times for some reason, but he's not relevant to the plot).
During the fight, I had to jump into a shallow pond to retrieve something. I don't remember what I had to get. Sad.
Later in the dream, there were floating platforms me and the Winx were flying across. We were in a mix between Bloomix and Mythix I think. We had to get somewhere, I don't know.
There was just some sort of goal.
I was standing behind on a platform and as Flora flew ahead, she looked behind me and could tell something was wrong.
APPARENTLY off-screen I was put under a spell and unwillingly helped the Trix. Was this shown? NO. But dream-self knew that happened, and it is sad that the moment wasn't shown.

Note
Don't know if my message was the one deleted.
But just in case;
What is your favorite type of fairy or legendary creatures?
Yes! sorry about that 😅
I’ve always enjoyed fantasy, The Lord of the Rings and The Legend of Zelda being one of my biggest inspirations growing up. As wells as Disney animated films like The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. So mermaids, fairies, and pixies are a favorite of mine. Heck I even like dragons and dwarves and even non Tolkien varieties, like the Gorons and Zoras from the Zelda series. It's hard to pick a favorite I guess is what I'm saying lol

The Dreeka & The Horned Goddess w/ Princess Zelda
Zelda: "You're curious about the Dreeka? I'd imagine if you've been looking into the Convergence they would come up. I can answer some questions, but the Dreeka are a secretive people. Fitting for the followers of the Goddess of Secrets.
"According to the stories we have from the Convergence and the Dreeka's records, at some point after the cycle began, the Horned Goddess showed Herself to a portion of the Sheikah and offered them Her boon to help preserve the stories of the Hero and the Princess. These people became the Drex, and then after the Convergence, the Dreeka. The boon the Horned Goddess gifted appeared very similar to that in the Sheikah, though with one key difference. Rather than crimson eyes, the Dreeka notably have purple ones as a part of their lineage.
"During the time of the Convergence, an ambassador of the Dreeka presented themself to the Hero, and served as his Guide during his quest. The two remained friends long after, and they were essential in brokering relations with our neighbors. Part of that peace was the construction of the Dreeka's libraries, one in every nation, to store the collective histories of our countries and the legends."
Marela: "A lot of people don't trust the Dreeka though. I know they're secretive, but that shouldn't make them unlikable."
Zelda: "It shouldn't. That reputation tends to have more to do with the other epithets the Horned Goddess has. Most notably, the Goddess of Monsters. It's said She had followers during the Convergence who were within the Blin family of creatures, among others. Many people have taken to associate that incorrectly that She Herself makes monsters."
Marela: "Well that's just rude. That's like when there was still a distinction between River Zora and Sea Zora."
Zelda: "Precisely the problem. But people are unfortunately easy to scare, and particularly these days with more monsters, too many people are willing to find an excuse rather than confront the truth."
Marela: "Oh, truth! You said that was an affinity of the Horned Goddess before, didn't you?"
Zelda: "I did. The Horned Goddess's primary epithet may the Goddess of Secrets, but Her affinity is Truth. According to the Dreeka's history, She uncovered the means of ascending to divinity, like the other Golden Goddeses, and left this secret behind only for Hylia."
Marela: "So she achieved ascension as well? Is that suggesting she's as powerful as the other Golden Goddesses?"
Zelda: "According to the Dreeka, yes. I will admit, Her affinity is incredibly powerful. Enough to have two material affinities as well as the divine one."
Marela: "Would that mean she has a portion of the Triforce? Not much of a Tri-force then."
Zelda: "Early history suggests that before we recognized it at the Triforce, it was simply called the Light Force. Perhaps a unified power existed before the Horned Goddess was ostracized by the divines as well."
Marela: "Hm. Wouldn't that be something. What were her material affinities?"
Zelda: "Most notably, Earth magic seems to fall in the Horned Goddess's domain. That would fit with Her prominent colors, She seems to favor purples. Other than that is Soul magic."
Marela: "Soul magic? How would that different from Spirit magic?"
Zelda: "A difficult line to explain. Spirit magic seems to have more to do with death and, well, spirits. Things that are already immaterial. Soul magic on the other hand influences largely the living. Things like, oh. Marela, your singing can provide a particular bardic inspiration."
Marela: "Oh, you flatter me. I do my best. Keep complimenting me, I like it."
Zelda: "Hmhm, you are quite talented at it. But to my point. Soul magic works in a similar fashion. As your singing can motivate a performance from others, Soul magic can too provide boons to the mind. Though this must be done with caution. Abuse of this magic can be used to puppet others as well. Likely the reason it goes understudied."
Marela: "That does rather put a chill on the mood."
Zelda: "All action is about balance. That's what the Horned Goddess's High Priestess says too. It's no different for Power or Courage or Wisdom. It's only that we've seen so little of this magic that its worse uses are what's focused on rather than the good it might be able to achieve with better study."
Marela: "I suppose. Maybe we should pay a visit some time to this library. Perhaps we could find some answers on our current problems."

Mark of a Hero (Updates on Tuesdays & Fridays, 1 of 9)
Hyrule is at peace, or so the Royal Family would have its people believe. Something is afoot in the kingdom, and someone needs to do something about it. Least likely would be Marksmen Link Sayre- a mercenary and monster hunter doing his best to get by. Until a job goes wrong, and he gets roped into the secret plans of Hyrule's princess. Now Link must play the part of the Hero to dive deeper into the mystery, and maybe stumble into a legend of his own.

Palworld is more of a ripoff of Rust than of Pokemon.
And if you think it's not a ripoff of Rust...yes. That's correct, and that's the point.
Pokemon does not have a patent on domestication. Getting animals to help you do things was already something that existed! They don't have a patent on "using cute animals in games," or "adding characters to your party by capturing them," or "creatures with elemental attacks."
While Palworld benefits from Pokemon's cultural cachet, the whole-ass game rhythm of Palworld is dramatically different from any Pokemon game ever. Yes, there are moments that are Pokemon-esque, such as entering a new area and immediately getting excited because you've seen a cool-looking creature and want to get it. But you're also managing food, to feed all the creatures you're putting to work. And you've got them, like, mining ore. And you use that ore to build your base. And you expand your functional territory by exploring to new teleport nodes. Yes, you use a ball to catch the thing when it could have been a cage (like WoW did in their near-explicit ripoff of Pokemon) or a box or a, like, I dunno, a seed? A pyramid? There were lots of shape options, and they went with the Pal Sphere on purpose. Fine. But the list of mechanical differences between the games is almost the full list of Palworld's mechanics.
And the guns thing is a clean and obvious point of aesthetic/tonal difference between the properties. In a clear "The Coyote Doesn't Catch the Roadrunner" kind of way, Nintendo has always had a "Pokemon's Universe Has No Guns" in place. Sometimes fans have misunderstood or derided that decision but Nintendo's not subtle or wishy-washy about it.
Also, the action combat vs the creatures instead of turn-based. Like, you can punch WAY above your weight class if you've got the reflexes and patience for it. Which in turn means the raid bosses are a completely different experience, more like large monsters of the recent Legend of Zelda titles or Genshin Impact than legendary Pokemon.
I dunno, I feel like if I had a girl choosing between a vampire and a werewolf to protect her in a verdant postapocalyptic wasteland and people called it a Twilight knockoff I'd think they didn't read so much as the slip cover of the book.

The Chain with a almost god like giant titan like Creature s/o reader.
Sorry that's a mouthful!
Like, they look human but are huge and have different kind of things about them that Hylians don't have. (Also, imagine the heros are so tiny compared to their s/o. Like Sky is like telling the Chain. But their in awe of the enormous creature that sky has been gushing about 10 times a hour.)
Please 🙏
Chain with an eldritch s/o. I dig it. Like that Eldritch Zelda that went around a while back.
It's going to be in headcanon form fyi. I hope that's ok!

Four
If you thought that a typical s/o for the smithy would have made him smaller....
He is dwarfed by comparison
Scorpion legs, mandibles, a spiked tail and as big as a house
Four proudly presents them to the group with the biggest flourished gesture he can do
“And I love them very much.” He says proudly.
The group is all silent
They click their mandibles in nervousness. “Um... So how do you do? Link has told me much about you all in his letters.”
Sky breaks out of it first. “We’re all alright. Four speaks about you a lot as well. e just weren’t anticipating you to be so-”
“Freaky?” They say quietly, causing Four to snap his head in their direction- words of rebuttal already on his tongue.
“Big.” Sky amends. “I was going to say big... Especially when he’s so...”
Four turns back to Sky with a glare. “Say it.”
Sky huff. “Look, Wind is taller than you. I thought it would have been someone I would have been able to look in the eye when you said they were bigger than you.”
Four splutters and tries to think of a comeback
It lessens to tension and Wild and Hyrule both step forward to introduce themselves
Time and Warrior give a small bow in respect
Wind run to try and climb on top of them
Twilight stops him before he can actually get away with it
Legend has been facepalming the entire time
His hand slides down his face slowly and he cuff Four by the side of his head. “When you say they get hungry easy it’s because you have mint on your porch. It keeps the spiders away-”
“Oh!” They perk up. “Is that why they don’t come by any more? I was wondering why it seemed like there were more bugs than usual. They’re not as filling.”
Legend gives Four a ‘I-Told-You-So’ look
Four says nothing
Hyrule
He had no problem with it!
“Hey guys! We’re about to meet the sweetest person in this entire planet. I can’t wait for you guys to see them.”
“Slow down Traveler.” Legend laughs. “We don’t know this place as well as you do- we might not be able to keep up.”
“Honey?” A voice speaks. It’s quiet and surreal- like multiple voices speaking at once. “Is that you?”
Traveler beams. “It’s me! I’m home! Come meet my friends!”
They step out. Multiple eyes blink slowly and feathered hands come in front of them in a nervous manner. They are giant.
Legend pauses. Where would he have seen this creature before? If he has anyway...
Sky smiles pleasantly and walks up slowly. “Hello there. Link’s told us a lot about you.”
Hyrule coughs. He didn’t. He doesn’t know why Sky is lying.
Time steps forward as well. “Good to meet you. I was wondering who was taking good care of him back home.”
Hyrule flushes. This isn’t what he was expecting.
“You know what...” Wild sighs. “I can’t even say I’m surprised. Call me Wild. We’re all friends of your Link.”
They smile. “Yes... My Link... Has he been behaving himself?”
Four nods. “Yup! He’s been a great help to all of us.”
Wind and Warrior both come up next to the hero in question and clap him on the shoulders. “We adore him.”
His partner smiles gently. “We share the same sentiment then.”
Twilight hasn’t said much but he stares at Hyrule with the stare of a thousand suns.
Hyrule clears his throat and tries to ease his embarrassment. “My home is nearby. We can all go there before the storm hits.”
They nod and reach their hand out.
Hyrule takes it without hesitation.
“Let’s go then.”
Legend
Legend was a bit nervous to introduce his s/o
They were huge
With multiple arms and multiple pairs of eyes
But they were so cute
Ignoring they were twice the size of a hinox
His hinox’ anyway
Wild’s are the largest he’s ever seen
Twilight sighs exasperatedly
“Spiders again”
Legend bites his lip
Wild and Four stare, wide eyed, jaw agape and say nothing
Hyrule is instead staring at Legend and Legend doesn’t know what to make of it
Time bites the bullet and holds out his hand
Warrior and Wild follow suit without question
They all shakes hands at the same time
“Hello” They say
Sky waves with a smile
“Thank you for looking after Link.” They say softly
Legend blushes and playfully swipes at them, only annoyed at the surface
“Hey-!... I can take care of myself. ...You know that.”
“Hmm... I feel better... knowing you’re not alone anymore.”
Everyone jumps on to let them know everything is ok
Legend sighs in relief
That... went a bit better than he thought it would
Sky
A bit nervous
But mostly because he doesn’t want anyone to say anything mean
If they do, he’s throwing hands
He’s done it before he’ll do it again
“Ok, Beloved... You can come out now.” He says softly.
They step out in all their ethereal glory
There’s the size of the two story house with wings and glowing silver eyes
There’s red and blue markings on their face
Time is getting flashbacks
Warrior is also having flashbacks
Twilight is watching Time and Warrior with interest
Wild and Legend share and look
Sudden dread and uncertainty over take them
Hyrule marches right up and sticks his hand out. “Hi.”
They smiles and shake it. “How do you do?”
Wind tilts his head. “How do you do what?”
Four shrugs and also goes to introduce himself. “Sky won’t shut up about you. You’re just as impressive as he said.”
They actually flush a little and look away. “He’s always talked a bit more than he knows what to do with. I’m sure he exaggerated a lot of things.”
Legend coughs. “I’d argue he understated a lot of things.”
Sky deadpans. “Gee, I wonder why.”
They laugh like church bells. “I can see why Link likes you all so much. Would you like a tour?”
Time
No longer cares about other people’s opinion
It’s not the boys believed him in other thing that he’s told them
So he’s kept this one close to his chest
He opens the doors to his home where you’re waiting in the living room
Time has also long given up on asking how you fit through the door
Four’s and Wild’s jaws hang wide open
Twilight actually trips over himself and falls backwards
This explains some things...but now he just has more questions
Like.. why the third eye? or the wings? and scales? and clubbed tail?
“Uh... Old Man...?”
“Oh it’s you! My boy!” They cry. “I know my babies where ever they are! I didn’t think you were serious dear!”
Time takes offense
“I told you. Of all things, this is the one you don’t believe?”
Cue Sky and Warrior looking between Twilight and Time, putting the pieces together but only becoming more confused in the process.
Legend sighs and flops in on himself.
“This might as well happen.”
Hyrule slaps him over the head
Sky bite his lip and waves a bit
He chuckles a bit out of nervousness
“We’ve heard... about you..”
“Have you?” They lean in
“Technically?”
They laugh
“It’s ok. Link doesn’t want any undue harm to come my way. He’s very protective like that. Come in! Come in! I’ll make some tea.”
Twilight
Just like how he was nervous to show his form as Wolfie, he’s actively trying to lighten the blow when the group meets his s/o
“Ok, so just so you guys know, they’re... bigger than normal... and may not be what you’re expecting.”
“Should we be scared?” Legend raises an eyebrow.
Twilight winces. “Well I would rather you not be. It would be a bit rude even if you can’t help it.”
Time puts his hand hand on Twilight’s shoulder. “If they’re important to you, we’ll be on our best behavior. Isn’t that right boys?”
Wild grins and gives a salute.
Warrior smirks and nods.
“Who’s important to Link?” A new voice says.
All heads snap in that direction
Large antlers and fangs, scales and tethers and a few feathers coat their body
Wind and Sky stare wide eyed
Hyrule blinks and punches Legend
“Oh my..” They say
“Pleasure to meet you!” Four gathers his wits first, hand already out to shake. “Your Link has talked a lot about you. All good things.”
They flush in a way that looks abnormal. “Oh... Oh my goodness- Ok. He always does this. I’m sorry if I’m not exactly what you were expecting.”
“Nothing could have prepared us for this.” Legend blurts
Hyrule glares at him
Legend flinches away
Twilight coughs. “Guy this is __”
They wave. “...Nice to meet you.”
Time bites his lip for a moment, letting it process before he gestures to Wild. “We brought lunch if you’re willing to join us.”
“Well that sounds lovely!”
Warrior
Warrior was practically avoiding it
Like bits and pieces, he would reveal
But never about their physical appearance
So when They finally appear with antlers, wings, and fur
Warrior waits with baited breath
Time sends Warrior a knowing look that he knows he’ll pay for later
Wild is the first to say something as he eagerly introduces himself
Twilight follows suit with Wind right on his metaphorical tail
Hyrule approaches hesitantly but is polite none the less
Sky stays a bit behind as Time goes in to say hello again
Four and Legend feel like they’re seen weirder and Warrior speaks well of them enough
“Hello again Little one.” They say patting Time on the head
“Not so little anymore.”
“Still little to me.”
“So how did you and Warrior meet?” Legend cocks a hip, eyebrow raised and all.
They smile, showing their multiple canines. “He shot me.”
“I told you, I’m sorry!” Warrior groans. “That’s not exactly what happened anyway.”
They giggle. “They call you Warrior now? I wasn’t aware your war merits carried over through time.”
“It’s... not that necessarily.” He blushes.
“He’s also called the Captain.” Wind raises his hand, thinking that it would to catch their attention.
“...Strange... That’s not his position here.”
“HO-KAY! Introductions are over! Who wants lunch?” Warrior yells louder than he needs to.
His S/O is going to embarrass him badly before he leaves
That’s the plan
Wild
He sees nothing with it
He doesn’t even think that it would register as strange to the others
“Link?” They call out. “Oh Link you’re back! Thank goodness you’re alright!”
Wild perks up and snaps his head in the direction of the voice.
He runs to them
The others pause and watch
They come out and pick Wild up as if he was only a bag of grapes
“Oh , I was so worried about you! Have you been taking care of yourself like you promise? I thought you would have been away for longer.”
Wild laugh and kisses them on their nose. “I’ve been just fine. I want you to meet my new friends.”
Twilight coughs and catches their attention. He waves.
“Oh!” Their second pair of arms comes up to cover their mouth. “Oh how rude of me. How do you do?”
Legend blinks. “How do you do what?”
They giggle. It sounds like thunder and their tail flickers playfully behind them.
They set Wild down. “How are you?”
“Fantastic, all things considered.” Warrior has to crane his neck up just to look at their face. “How did you and Champion meet?”
“Oh that’s a long story-”
“Let’s go in side first.” Wild interjects, a wide smile on his face. “I can start lunch and we can all get comfortable in the living room, yeah?”
Time seems amused, if a bit perplex. “Of course, Cub. Lead the way.”
“Cub?” They turn to Wild. “That’s precious.”
“Let’s gooo...” Wild coughs. His cheeks are a but pink.
From the looks of Four, Hyrule and Wind.... they’re never going to let him live that down.
Wind
(Not really s/o... more like best friend... maybe when they’re older but as it stands-)
Wind was going to blow their mind
His surprise is probably going to get him serious street cred
He was going to introduce them to every one and he was going to get all their reactions saved in his pictobox!
Wind stands in front of everyone, pictobox ready and tells you to come say hi
Longer than normal arms, thirty fingers, sunken eyes and moss for hair- and tall
Wind snaps the picture of his buddies
They’re going to love this later on
They already giggle and wave
Wild, Hyrule and Legend numbly wave back
“Hello!” You grin.
Time sits down
Wind grins as well and jumps onto their arm
He climbs up
“This is my friend! The one I was telling you guys about!” He says proudly. “Aren’t they cool?”
“...Very cool Sailor...” Warrior cranes his head up.
“Um.... So... how have you been?” Four tries for normal conversation.
He tries the old friend approach.
“Oh you knooww~~ Burrowing in the sand, taking in the sun, dragging sailors underwater, having tea parties with the locals. Same old, same old.”
“What was that one you just said?”
“Taking in the sun?”
“After that.”
“The tea parties? Oh! We should have one! I was about to have lunch anyway. Why don’t you call come over? Since you’re friends with Link, we can be friends too.”
Twilight smiles tensely. “...Sure... We’d love to.”

Here are the final results of the fanart challenge :) Had lots of fun drawing them all! And thanks for the ones who participated. List and reason for picking them: 1. King- Owl House. 3 separate people requested it! I have not actually watched this cartoon, but he was the most requested character haha, I like his skull head design! It was weird that he only had two digits O_o I kept drawing him with a full paw in the rough drafts. 2. Rudy- Killer Clowns from Outer Space. I have watched Killer Klowns and when I got this one I thought oh damn that's a hard one. But I had to try it and see if I could pull it off. Turns out I love drawing droopy eyes and lots of folded skin LMAO I think he took the longest to complete from the rest. 3. Happy Mask Salesman - Legend of Zelda. I have not actually played the game he is from, but based on all the pics online he sure likes to smile! So obviously I had to draw that grin and squint in all his glory. He apparently sells an evil mask that makes the moon go nuts and want to kill the world?! 4. Beetlejuice - from Beetlejuice. I love Beetlejuice the movie and cartoon. I was actually shocked that I have never drawn him though! I think people tend to forget he was the VILLIAN of the movie haha. So I wanted to accentuate that part of his character. An evil ghost pervert with a record in the afterlife as a rogue murderer (bio-exorcist) 5. Bob Velseb - Spooky Month (Sr Pelo) This one was the poll winner for the last slots. He apparently is a human in a devil costume who kills and eats people on Halloween! I tried to show that mania in his expression which was kind of hard since he's a very simple design...basically a red smiley face with a sweater lol. But hopefully it reads well, and I was able to get him into my style well enough! XD 6. Spongebob - from Spongebob. This one was a poll winner for the last slots. Anyone who doesn't know SPONGEBOB is living under a rock. but yeah, that fun and cheerful sponge! I realized that he was kind of the odd man out of the list of killers and creatures haha so I drew him as how we would react being in this crowd of others haha. I have to say that although I have not drawn Spongebob he was VERY easy to get down on the first few rough passes....I think its because he comes from the era of late 90s cartoony goodness...yes he has been around since 1999! I had real fun drawing him!!

Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Theory/Analysis/Rant?kinda
Since there is like 2 or so more months till Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is out and, since I saw a lot of people debating the name/logo/what will be the story/involvement of the Zonai Tribe (*insert Zonai Swirl meme here*) I wanna put my own two cents in here, so here goes nothing:
First, the Logo:
This thing made people on the internet (as far as I've seen) think this might be the end of the Zelda Timeline and take the 2 Dragons circling each other as confirmation that the timeline runs in a loop, an eternal samsara if you will.
I think that this isn't the case.
Usually, when it comes to the ouroboros symbol, the snake or dragon eats its own tail, and this doesn't seem to be the case here. The mouths of the 2 dragons are closed, and they appear to just chase after each other. In this case, instead of the symbol of a loop, the ouroboros might take onto the meaning of harmony.
Since there are two dragons there, it could mean two entities need to find harmony. This is also very much supported by this screenshot:
Look behind the logo.
We see the new God? Entity? Creature? - whoever the hell that is together with who I assume is Zelda. It could imply that the two need to find a way to work in harmony to defeat Ganondorf. This is also mirrored by Link and his new arm since they also need to work in harmony to fulfill their role as the Hero. And, because Nintendo loves the number three, Zelda and Link themselves need to work together to solve whatever is happening in Tears of the Kingdom.
Again, this logo is more about harmony rather than a never-ending loop.
But, the main question I ask myself when I look at the logo is: Why dragons? Why is the logo depicted with dragons? And why two of them?
Well, the answer has to do with the Zonai, a barbaric (were they really?) tribe who is behind a lot of the old structures around Hyrule, as well as being, apparently, very technologically advanced if we are to think that the monsters from the trailers (blocky moster and the one that looked like a one eyed mechanical cyclops) and the weapons shown (flamethrower, homming arrows and the canon that shoots out balls of evergy) are made by them.
And yet, every piece of lore about them says that they are "barbarians" or a "barbaric tribe." I will go on with this later but remeber one thing: the history is always written by the ones that survive the wars or cataclysmic situations.
Either way, back on track, the Zonai Tribe had three types of animal like structures they probably worshiped because the animals represented the Triforce:
1. The Boar/Pig structures most likely represent the Triforce of Power. This could also allude to Ganon's monster forms as they, usually, resemble a pig or a boar. (Also, as a side note, in the Farore Region, where you find the most Zonai ruins, the boar/pig statues are either buried in the earth or broken, so it is most likely they haven't had the same faith in them compared to the other two)
2. The Owl, which represents the Triforce of Wisdom. The owl is a symbol of wisdom and spiritual awakening, as well as a very intelligent animal in and of itself, which fits the bill for the mascot Wisdom. The bearer of the Triforce of Wisdom is always the reincarnation of Goddess Hylia. (Funnily enough, Typhlo Ruins, the ruins that are always shrouded in darkness in BoTW are full of torches in the form of the Owl structures from the Zonai Tribe. And owls are nocturnal animals.)
3. The Dragon, which represents the Triforce of Courage. Yes, you read it correctly. The Dragon represents the Triforce of Courage, aka the Hero of Hyrule, Link. Rather than being an animal/creature that represents courage, in this case, I think it refers to those who can face a dragon without backing down being called courageous. You know, like in fairytales where the Hero faces against the evil dragon and defeats it. After all, having courage doesn't mean not fearing anything; rather, it's about doing something in spite of the fear you feel. (On top of that, since the Faron Region is said to be the place where the Zonai Tribe lived before, you can tell that they were the most likely to be followers of the Dragon, aka the representation of Courage; that leaves the Sheika Tribe as the followers of the Owl, Wisdom and the Yiga Tribe as the followers of the Boar/Pig, the Power.)
Now that we have established this, let's look again at the logo:
Two green dragons chasing after each other in an attempt to create harmony... and everything in this logo is green, the color we associate with the Goddess of Courage Faroure. But, if Link, as the barer of the Triforce of Courage, is one of the green dragons, does this mean the other is the Goddess of Courage herself? Or is it someone else?
We will come back to this a bit later. For now, let's move on, onto the title:
Second, the Title:
We know that the producer of the Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Eiji Aonuma, said that the title would be a huge spoiler. However, the way I see people look at it, they don't consider the title a spoiler, but the logo. Which, given the previous games in the franchise, it is a bit wrong to do.
Here are some examples:
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
The logo has the Wolf and the Fused Shadow silhouettes behind the text, but the title in itself alludes to, arguably the most important character in the game, Midna.
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
The Logo has the Majora's Mask itself, but the title not only gives us the name of the Mask but also the name of the villain in that specific game.
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
The Logo shows us the symbol that is now arguably the symbol of Hyrule itself, but the title tells us about a sword, which is later revealed to be the soon-to-become Master Sword that we know today.
As you can see, every single title does have something to do with the plot, and it is, in retrospect, a big spoiler. The Logos are a lot more vague about what they portray, especially since we don't know the names of the items shown before we play the games. (Who knew what the Fused Shadow was when they saw the silhouette in the logo?)
Regardless, when it comes to Tears of the Kingdom, things are indeed a bit vague. Since it was confirmed that "Tears" refers to actual teardrops, we can assume that it could have something to do with the Silent Realms in Skyward Sword where you will get Sacred Tears so you can forge the Master Sword. This makes a whole lot of sense when you see that in the Logo for Tears of the Kingdom, the Master Sword second half seems to be made of a green substance while the first half seems to be very damaged. (And we know that will most likely be a part of our quest from the trailers)
The problem I find with the title is the second part. "Kingdom." What Kingdom? We know this game happens at best, maybe 6 months after BoTW. Hyrule Kingdom is definitely not recreated overnight; nothing seems to have been worked on at all. So the question is "why call that a Kingdom?"
In BoTW, after you meet with the King at the Temple of Time at the beginning of the game, he says, "I was King Rhoam Bosphoramus Hyrule. I was... the last leader of Hyrule. A kingdom which no longer exists."
So, if the Hyrule Kingdom no longer exists following the Calamity from 100 years ago... why is it called a kingdom now? Just because Zelda is alive, that doesn't mean the Kingdom is back, especially since all the Hylians are scattered around Hyrule and the only parts of the Royal Family and the Knight order remaining are Zelda and Link.
To answer this question, I need you to think back to the two dragons on the logo. If one is Link, why couldn't the other one be Link too, but from 10,100 years ago, the Hero that sealed Calamity Ganon first alongside that time's Zelda.
This is the tapestry that spoke of the first sealing of Calamity Ganon. This depiction of Link is very strange, though. Full of bluish-green around him, red hair and a golden arm that holds a sword.
Dosen't it remind you of this?
It is a bit of a stretch, but if the developers went for minimalism, then the golden ornaments around the arm could be the reason why the Hero's arm is golden in the tapestry.
Also, before you say something about Zelda, look here, outside of the power of the Goddess and her hair, her hands and face are a similar color of red like that Hero's face, legs and OTHER ARM. Meaning only one of his arms is golden in color.
Which brings me to the whole Harmony symbolism again. Link's arm is definently damaged beyond repair, so now he gets a new one, one that possibly belonged or was powered by the energy of the Hero from 10,100 years ago. So they need to find a balance and coexist to defeat Ganondorf.
So while the word "Tears" refers to what Link has to collect to repair the Master Sword this time, maybe the word "Kingdom" refers to the place where the green energy comes from initially aka the Kingdom of Hyrule from 10,100 years ago when they used, what is most likely, Zonai Magic to help defeat Calamity Ganon and seal him? This would certainly spoil a lot of the game if it is true, so maybe this is it.
But there are still some other mysteries I wanna touch on next:
The Zonai
As I said before, the Zonai Tribe is considered "barbaric" in nature, but there is a high chance they were behind the mechanics and weapons we have seen for Tears of the Kingdom so far. So why are they "barbaric"? Well, remember when I said, "History is written by the survivors"?
What if the Zonai were eliminated in that battle against Calamity Ganon? They could have lived in Hyrule for a whole millennia before that battle, which is how their structures are older than the Sheika Shrines and the like. There is also the fact that rather than being constructed for that time's hero, the Sheika Shrines we know in BoTW were made after the sealing of Calamity Ganon as tests for the future Hero who will have to seal Ganon again.
This way, we can confirm how Sheika Shrines ended up in Zonai made ruins (aka Typhlo Ruins). The shrines were erected after the fall of the Zonai. This means the Guardians and the 4 Divine Beats were constructed first.
But the question still remains: Why are the Zonai not mentioned in the History of Hyrule if they helped with the first Calamity Ganon?
Welp, there could be that the Zonai never really interacted with the people, thus making them seem "barbaric" and "unapproachable" for the Royal Family (of which we know has done some pretty stupid/dark stuff in past games) so they decided to not put them in the history books, thus they were forgotten.
And I can already hear you: "What about that time's Zelda and Link? Wouldn't they overule this or do something?"
You see, dead people can't complain, can they? We don't know if the Princess Zelda and the Link from that time were still alive after the sealing. For all we know, both could have died sealing Ganondorf underground (like we saw him the in trailers) and the King (cause, let's be honest, the kings of Hyrule have done some pretty shady or stupid stuff in the past) of that time decided to just go with making his daughter and the soldier that was with her into heroes in the Kingdom and let's the Zonai, a Tribe he couldn't control nor truly talk with, fade from the history.
Also, I said "soldier" and not "personal guard" like the legends about that time said about Link. Why? Welp, the tapestry.
Red hair Link... is not really likely right?
He is always blonde haired, at least in all the games we have right now. So why is he depicted with red hair, when Zelda has blonde hair in the Taspestry? Welp.
The Barabrian set, specifically the Barbarian Helm.
Red hair is overshadowing the blonde hair of Link, so there is a possibility that the Hero of that time was wearing a Barbarian Armor Set in battle. But it's a bit strange since... well, this is the compendium description of the helmet.
"A helmet once worn by the warriors of an ancient warlike tribe from the Faron region."
Why would the Hero wear a warrior set that is solely worn by a Tribe of the Faron region? Maybe because he was part of it.
Think about it. The Zonai were followers of the Dragon that represented the Triforce of Courage to them. Wouldn't it make sense for the Hero to be born in this Tribe?
And since Link and Zelda of that time had to work together to seal Ganondorf, the Hyrule Royal Family of that time couldn't ignore the existence of the Hero. So, instead of making Link as a part of the Zonai Tribe like he was at the time, the Royal Family made him into the personal guard of the Princess in the story, while people could explain the tapestry as an armour set that existed long ago and was worn by the Hero in combat (when the events were still fresh in the minds of people) or worn paper in the current time of Breath of the Wild.
The Mysterious Figure
This is the figure I meant.
Welp, she is definently not Zelda from 10,100 years ago, so maybe a Zonai depiction of Hylia. Cause well, she is apparently on a pedestal high in the sky, if those are clouds.
Also, notice that there are seven swirls around her. Maybe the tears we need to collect? Or maybe a depiction of the Seven Sages in Zelda? Who knows, but it is worth mentioning that this figure is seen intertwining hands with a depiction of Zelda behind the Logo.
The "Zelda" shown in the last trailer
This will be the last part of this long-ass rant/analysis/theory thingy I made so here we go.
This may not be our Zelda. At least not this timeline's Zelda.
Look a bit at the dress she is wearing. The blocky symbols and that eye towards the bottom of the dress are not of Sheikan origin. Which most likely means it is from the Zonai Tribe. I can’t put any more images, but there is a new eye symbol that is present on a new shield. An eye that is looking up and has five droplets falling from it. Just like this eye symbol that has five tassels attached to it.
And, if you wanna argue that it could be Hylia, look at the figure from the drawing above. The clothing is extremely intricate and very well detailed, but you don't see an eye with five droplets or tassels hanging from it on the clothing, right? Even tho the other details are so clear on the figure.
So, either this is the Princess from 10,100 years ago who fought together with the soldier from the Zonai Tribe that became the Hero, or our Zelda gets a Zonai get up from somewhere, cause the background reminds me of the Time Gates from Skyward Sword.
At this point, we don't have a clue and this is PURE SPECULATION.
So, if you read till now, congratulations! Hope you enjoyed my zainy ideas and theories for Tears of the Kingdom.
Tell me if you agree or disagree with anything here cause I am curious about your opinion on his.
Hope to see you guys again soon! (I WILL TRY to be more active)
P.S: If anything from here becomes reality, I called it, and I am gonna be so proud of what my brain came up with at 3 a.m. in the morning.
