@marischimmer ok but this with what we've already been talking about? Like, the hero goes to confront to agency alone (because they were trying to protect the villain) and comes back like this? Yes. Just yes.
Prompt #19
âYouâre bleeding,â the villain said.
The hero merely shrugged them off, eyes slightly unfocused as they stood out in the rain - having just knocked on their nemesisâ door but daring to go no further.Â
âItâs not my blood,â they muttered.
The villainâs eyes narrowed, an expression strangely similar to worry crossing their face. âNo, Hero, I think some of that is yours: your sideâŠâ
Confused the heroâs gaze dropped down, catching sight of a sizable gash that ran all the way from their waist to the top of their thigh. They swayed a little, the blood loss a rather good explanation for the dizziness theyâd been feeling for the past five minutes.
âOh,â they said. âOh noâŠâ
Their body gave in before the villain could catch them.
#the villain gets super panicked and rushed to help the hero who has almost lost too much blood to be pulled back from the edge#(don't worry the hero survives)#the villain (once they're sure the hero is ok) gets super pissed and swears they'll destroy the agency someday#but right now they need to focus on hero#and villain also knows that hero would want to help villain take down the agency#so villain knows he can't go without at least getting heroâs permission

I have thoughts!
I doubt Izuku went eight years being Quirkless.
For one thing, after the Final War, he still had two years of high school left. I doubt all that time he used One For All continously when he have to focus on schoolwork and had more time to actually wind down since the major villains of the story have been dealt with. So there would be times he wouldn't have to use OFA like that.
Last chapter, we can see he still has OFA.
I would say it would be more recently that he lost OFA.
Note that here, Izuku says "recent times". This is just happening now that his class has reached their goals of what they wanted to accomplished. From Ochako and the others creating a program to help people to Mezo getting an award.
When this came...
I figure this can interpreted as Aizawa asking about his Quirk and being a Hero on the field or just his time in school when everything was happening.
Why some of the fandom took this as abandonment is beyond me. "We started working..."
Folks, Class A would be 24 - 25 years old... they would have just started to be Pro Heroes probably three years or later if you consider their "college years" would be the time they would be sidekicks and working to having their own agencies. Probably some of then even living together to save money and whatnot.
A teacher is fitting for Izuku as he is still encouraging others and it reflects even how All Might, his mentor, was one. He knows he'll be Quirkless again, a job as a teacher is ideal for him.
You need a bachelor's degree to be a teacher, which takes four years. So from probably age 18 to 22, Izuku worked for that degree to be a teacher. Meaning that time, he necessarily didn't have to use OFA, if he still had it. And he could have also been doing the sidekick thing on the side.
Present Mic is an example of a character who has multiple occupations, so I don't doubt that Izuku couldn't have done sidekick work and studies at the same time.
Therefore, he would have been a teacher for 3 years at the moment at this point.
Now, given that a school like UA exists, where they taught Heroics, business, engineering, etc. There could have been colleges like that. So class A could have went to the same college and still hung out, including Izuku.
Point is what I'm saying is, because of what Izuku's schedule may have looked like, I doubt he lost the embers of OFA that fast. Yes, he most definitely lost them, but like overnight? Yeah, no.
And him being abandoned? Some of you took a hold of the steering wheel and whipped it way too hard to the left. They definitely still talked. They just got busy with their jobs and hectic schedules.
"How dare they not tell Izuku about the project?!"
... IT WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE, HELLO?! Have none of you gotten something nice as a surprise before???
#now if you disagree i don't care like at all#the ending could have been a lot worse it was not that bad stop it#honestly at this point i could care less about anything some of you have to say#like if i had to look for the fucks to give it would take forever to find them and i would still never find them#sounds mean but my tolerance level has decreased tremendously over the weeks#just kiya's thoughts#bnha#mha#boku no hero academia#my hero academia#bnha spoilers#bnha manga spoilers#bnha 430#mha 430#midoriya izuku#izuku midoriya#deku

"Listen." The villain grabbed the hero's arm. "I'm on a tight leash here."
The hero's mouth curled into a smile. "You mind repeating that?"
But the villain was quite serious, although their grip around the hero's forearm loosened.
"They will kill me if anything happens to you, you know that," the villain said.
"Womp womp."
The villain laughed hollowly and stared at the hero in disbelief.
"You're unbelievable."
Their nemesis had always been an incredibly unserious person - and an annoying one - but ever since the villain had been captured and assigned to protect them, it had gotten worse. Somehow, the villain couldn't blame them. The hero was, after all, a secretive person who didn't need any type of surveillance.
"I don't need a bodyguard," the hero said. They bobbed their head confidently. "I am not the best ranked hero in the entire city for nothing."
"Come on, don't be cocky now. I wouldn't be here if the agency actually believed that," the villain said and they meant every word. It was a kind of community service that was meant to reform the villain. Protecting people, watching the hero work - they assumed that was the goal of this entire operation.
However, the hero made it very easy to dislike heroes in general. They had a big mouth, viewed themselves as some kind of saint and (arguably) the worst thing above all: they also looked good while doing it.
The hero let out a big sigh and started stretching, followed by a yawn and a bored expression. It was clear that the hero wanted to fall into the bed of the shared hotel room and sleep until the afternoon.
"Little piece of advice?" They sat down on the bed. "Don't read too much into it. I doubt they know what they are doing themselves."
"They are in charge of internal security, they should know what they are doing."
"You think it's smart to put two nemeses in a hotel room with only one bed?" the hero asked. They wiggled with their eyebrows and all the villain could do was roll their eyes. "This agency is a real shit show and everyone smart enough should stay as far away from them as possible."
"I have no choice in that matter. You die, I die too. They will find a way to blame me. I'm supposed to jump in front of you when people shoot at you. I am nothing more than a human shield."
"Gorgeous human shield."
"I'm flattered," the villain said flatly. They took in a deep breath and let themselves fall next to the hero on the bed. They put their head in their hands and rubbed their face. If the hero continued to be reckless, if they continued to be so stupidly bold, the villain would start to feel the consequences pretty quickly.
"Don't be. I'm merely observing objective beauty."
"Ugh. Fuck off." The villain squeezed their eyes shut. They needed to think. If the agency was experimenting on them, the villain was meant to be the test subject which meant the agency wanted to control them.
The villain knew they had implanted a chip in them which tracked heartbeat and location. The only question now was: how was the agency going to kill them? Was the chip responsible? Was it something else?
"You're worrying so much, no wonder you are always so grumpy." The villain raised their head and before they could answer, the hero's hand was already on their back, delicate fingertips digging into sensitive spots. The villain bit back a moan and pulled back gently.
"Let's not...complicate things."
"Of course not," the hero said. "But honestly, don't break that head of yours trying to figure out their next plan. They won't kill you until absolutely necessary and I am very good at taking care of myself. So unless you are very incompetent - which you are not - you are good for now."
"For now," the villain echoed. They had to admit, the hero's fingertips had felt good on their back. They had never expected the hero to be capable of being serious enough to try comforting the villain. If it even was what they had tried to achieve.
As the villain looked at them, they couldn't help but concentrate on their jawline. On the darker colours of their eyes. Their fingers. Those damn fingers.
The villain hadn't recovered from that quite yet and they started to regret their words. They knew the hero flirted often, but they weren't sure how much of it was boredom and how much was real.
And even if something was to happen tonight, the agency would know about an increased heartbeat in the middle of the night in the shared hotel room.
Which in the worst case, they would interpret as a fight.
But it was more likely that they wouldn't.
The villain bit the inside of their cheek. Shit, they needed to concentrate. The hero always threw them off their game.
"Did they chip you?" the villain asked.
The hero pulled up their sleeve and very suddenly the villain realised that they had never seen this arm naked. And they understood why - the entire forearm was covered in scar tissue.
"The better question is: how many times did they try?" the hero said. They covered their arm quickly again and cocked their head. "The agency learns pretty slowly but they realised eventually I wasn't willing to play any games. When dumb people get a fraction of power, no matter how small, they will abuse it."
The hero had never been this serious before. Not with the villain. And the villain could do nothing but stare as the hero casually told them how much the agency truly sucked.
"It's inevitable. But when it comes down to it, who is stronger? Some written words on a paper or a true superhero? These people are just people and I was sick of listening to someone tell me where to go or what to wear or what to say or whom not to save. I wanted to save as many people as possible. And that's exactly what I am doing now. Without someone monitoring my body or actions."
"And yet, you're with the agency," the villain pointed out.
"I made a deal with them. I will play nice with them in public and in return...they are keeping someone safe for me."
"A lover?"
"I wouldn't share this bed with you if I had a lover. And I wouldn't say the things I say to you," the hero said. They stared at their own hands and the villain saw little scars all over them. Like a messily woven rug. "It's my sibling. Outside of the country, I didn't want them to grow up here. But...yeah. They write me every week."
The hero smiled but they didn't seem to be happy.
"I'm not allowed to write back. Ever. I know it's better that way, but...I know they will forget me eventually."
The villain didn't say anything. They had never thought the hero would tell them something like this. And they had never expected them to go beyond their cocky persona. It was a little more than strange to hear this from someone whose main priority was flirting during battle.
"Maybe it's hypocritical of me. To say all of this and yet I am working with them to protect my sibling and pretend to be on good terms with them, but for my family, I am gladly the sinner. I would become the enemy to protect them."
"That's very admirable," the villain said. And it was. It was impressive. It was horribly understandable, too. "You're very special, I hope you're aware of that. You're a good person."
And now, the villain couldn't really hate them anymore. They couldn't even find a reason to. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
They took in another deep breath and tried for the last time today to think clearly.
"I appreciate that you told me this. But I think itâs late and we both need some res-"
"I know, I know, darling. Take good care of my secret, though. Or Iâm afraid Iâll have to kill your pretty ass," the hero said. They pursed their lips.
"You're welcome to try." The villain had to grin.
"Hm, temptingâŠnot right now, though.â They leaned over and traced the villain's collarbone with their index finger. "Or the poor agency will think we are doing worse things than fighting. Those chips are scarily precise when it comes to counting beats per minute."
Great minds and all.

Fat gum x reader - changed for the better
Hi, saw you wanted requests for MHA so maybe Fat Gum x reader with this prompt from your prompt list âThe hero and the villain donât work together.â âTheyâre not married either but here we are.â but only if you want to of course. Thanksđ„° - Anonđ
Hands stuffed in your pockets, you idly wondered around the streets, looking for something to do to pass the time.
You were waiting for your husband to finish his patrol and go on break, and you were lingering nearby his agency.
After all this time you still felt uneasy around heroes, and you didnât want to enter a whole building of them, you you settled for standing outside, scrolling through your phone.
âYouâre here!â
You grinned, putting your phone back into your pocket, letting the hero pick you up and spin you around a few times before setting you down.
âI told you Iâd be here!â You laughed.
âI was getting worried when I didnât see you out the window, Iâm glad youâre here though, Iâve got a new intern! Look!â
You looked behind him to see Tamajiki as normal, but there was a red haired boy with him this time who grinned brightly, bowing his head to you.
âHello! Iâm Kirishima from class 1-A! Itâs nice to meet you!â
âSo loudâŠâ
Fat Gum laughed softly, covering your ears, gently rubbing small circles into your temples.
âSorry. I forgot to tell you that (Y/N) doesnât do well with sudden loud noises, their quirk means their hearing is slightly heightened.â
âOh, Iâm sorry, I shouldâve been a little quieter. Are you okay?â Kirishima asked.
You smiled softly at him, nodding your head as you held your husbands hand in your own.
âYeah, Iâm good thank you. And Tamajiki, howâre you?â
The quiet hero to be turned his head to the ground, pulling his hood down a little bit.
âI want to go homeâŠâ
You laughed a little.
âMaybe I can convince my lovely husband to let you guys go for the night.â
You gently nudged the hero at your side making his laugh loudly, nodding his head.
âYes! Go on home and be safe!â
âThanks sir!â
Kirishima ran off with Tamajiki quietly following behind.
You walked in front of Fat Gum, gesturing for him to kneel down, so he did, and you grinned brightly, kissing his forehead, then you walked around to climb in his back.
Once you were comfortable, you draped your arms on his head, and he stood up to carry on walking.
âHow does it look?â He asked.
You hummed a little, looking around.
âLooking funky, whatâs the plan?â ïżŒ
âWell maybe we can take a walk, then go to that restaurant you love so much, does that sound good?â
Fat Gum glanced to the side, and you leant down, grinning from ear to ear as you nodded your head at him.
He grinned brightly, gently resting his head on yours.
Thatâs what you guys did, but soon he became busy with work, so you spent a lot of time just wondering, looking for some other way to occupy your time.
That was up until you were stopped by Sir Nighteye, and you looked up at him a little confused, gesturing to the bracelet on your wrist.
âI havenât done anything wrong?â
âI need you to come with me, it would be a lot faster if you didnât fight.â
You waved your hand dismissively, already walking to the car he had gotten out off.
âYeah yeah, I know the drill.â
You got in the car, letting him take you to wherever it was that you needed to be, and he escorted you inside.
You immediately hated the amount of heroes that were also walking through the doors, and you shuffled a little nervously on your feet.
â(Y/N)?â
You looked to the doors, quickly making your way over to fat gum, immediately tucking yourself into his side.
âThereâs too many heroesâŠâ you huffed.
âWhyâre you here? Did something happen?â
âI donât know, asking beanpole over there he dragged me here.â
Fat Gum nodded, leading you over to the middle of the room and stood you next to him, placing a hand on your shoulder and you wrapped your arm around his.
As the meeting started you lost interest in what was going on.
âI would like devil dog to help.â Nighteye said.
You snapped back from your little daydream and looked over confused.
âHuh? What?â
âAn ex villain? You canât be serious.â Someone scoffed.
âI believe that their quirk would be useful in this situation, your quirk allows you to summon numerous hellhounds that are connected or you correct? You can jump consciousness between them and turn into one?â
âYeah, and what?â
âBe niceâŠâ your husband whispered.
You huffed.
âI would like for you to assist us in this operation.â
You scoffed a little bit.
âThe hero and the villain donât work together.â You huffed.
Fat gum leant down a little, showing you his face, and you immediately looked at him, annoyed gaze softening the moment you connected eyes with him.
âTheyâre not married either but here we are.â He mused.
âYeah thatâs a point.â
âYou canât be serious and letting them have full control of their quirk, they terrified people for years just for fun.â
âOkay but I never actually hurt anybody Eraser, I was more just annoying the general public for fun.â
âYouâre still a risk.â
âIâm reformed.â You grinned.
You placed a hand on fat gums head, pushing him up a little so you could look at the hero you were currently arguing with.
âYouâre not safe with your quirk out in the public.â
âSeriously what the hell do you think Iâm going to do? Run off and cause mayhem? Iâm married to a hero for god sake heâll find me straight away.â
Fat Gum stood back up fully.
âTheyâre right, I know all their hiding places.â
âYou canât be serious about this.â Someone else called out.
Tapping your husband on the stomach, you gestured for him to crouch down so he did, letting you climb on his back and he stood up.
You rested your arms on his head, messing with a little bit of his hair that was sticking out of his costume.
âOkay I get it, I have a shit past, but thereâs a girl that needs saving right? Why the hell would I go running off to cause trouble knowing it would put her at risk? Iâll admit I did some shit things, but I never hurt no one, well, aside from present mic but that was actually an accident and beside the point. Iâll help, then Iâll wait for the bracelet to be put back on.â
There were a few mutters around the room.
âPlease, I know you donât trust them, and a lot of you question why I married them but I will vouch for (Y/N), if something happens or they run off I take full responsibility.â Fat gum said.
You leant down a little.
âSweetheart you dont have to do thatâŠâ
âOf course I do, I know youâre not going anywhere.â He said softly.
You smiled gently back at him, kissing the side of his head.
âCourse I wouldnât, why would I go when youâre here?â
He grinned a little at you, and you rested your chin on the top of his head, letting the heroes go back to debating this.
Either way you didnât care if they trusted you, you knew you had changed, and as long as your husband trusted you that was good enough for you

"Tie this please?"
Hero and Villain must tolerate each other for a single mission. Villain makes a bet while he helps Hero get ready.
No warnings. Poorly written, not my favorite, but somebody else will most likely enjoy.
âHelp me tie this please.â Hero turned to hide the faint blush that had started to cover her cheeks. When their job meant going under cover Superhero handled everything. This time âeverythingâ meant having Villain as their partner. Joining sides against a greater evil was commendable but Hero made sure to avoid Villains ever watchful eyes, without the guise of hate it seemed she liked their color more than any self-respecting enemy should. As Supervillainâs plan went into play both Hero and Villain were set to attend the royal gala. As a married couple.
Hero tried not to think about it as she turned around, Villain beginning to tug at the string on her corset. He pulled the laces taunt but not nearly enough.
âTighterâ Hero braced herself knowing she would be pulled back. Sure enough the Villain understood this time and tightened it. Hero winced the fabric constricted all around her and she put a hand to her stomach getting used to the harsh feeling against any bruises and lack of air.
Villain kept a good grip on the laces as he awaited further instruction, all he received was a short. âI canât breathe in this ridiculous thing.â Hero hung her head keeping herself together.
âDo I need to loosen it?â His response was immediate.
Hero threw back their head in exasperation. She didnât want him to be so gentle with her, it sat too nicely in the depths of her chest. All she wanted to focus on was getting in the stupid dress, not that fact that he was standing so close behind her and being considerate of all things.
âNo, Villian just,â she grit her teeth in annoyance âdonât care about me. That shouldnât be so hard huh? Just tighten it.â She dared another breath preparing for him to obey. He paused.
âAre you sure you donât fit into the dress now? Perhaps you should try itââ
âYou can drop the act of a doting husband while itâs just us. Save yourself the trouble and keep the show for everyone else. Just tighten please.â Hero knew she snapped; she also knew she was being vastly unfair.
âWell pardon me your ladyship for trying to keep air in your lungs.â Sarcasm dripped from his tone. At least if he was annoyed with her this whole thing would be easier. She swallowed, pushing down any guilt from her previously rude tone. She felt small tugs on the laces.
âWhat are you doing back there?â
âTying you offâ
âYouâre supposed to be tightening me.â Hero tried to turn but the Villains hands travelled the short distance from her ties to her waist firmly keeping her facing forward. Hero stilled instantly; she wasnât ready for that.
âHold still will you. Let me finish.â
Hero didnât have any words as he waited until he was sure she wouldnât turn before finally removing his hands from her waist and she felt the pull of the ties once more. It wasnât fair for him to take away her breath when she had so little of it.
He tapped her back where the laces were all tied.
âAll finished.â
Now she dared to turn. âI thought I told you to tighten it more.â She tried to be stern, but the words didnât come out half as harsh as she wanted them to be. His eyes scanned her face, and his eyebrow quirked âAnd I told you to try the dress first.â He casually walked to the chair that held the absurdly intricate yet beautiful gown the agency had provided for the night.
âIs this how itâs going to be all night? You not listening to me, because Iâm telling you right now thatâs not going to fly.â She watched as he picked up the dress and deposited it in her arms. A small little grin tugged at the corner of his mouth.
âOh, it wonât fly? Maybe I just did my job right, ever consider that?â he nodded to the dress.
She swallowed, the amount of stubbornness and calm behavior had her blood boiling just enough it was in danger of melting her heart. She was playing a dangerous game.
âIf it doesnât fit, I have to take it off again and youâve just made more work for the both of us.â
âI hardly consider myself on the clock.â
âKeep it professionalâ her eyes flashed, professionalism was her excuse to hide behind, âyou would never be in the position of helping me like this if it werenât for our job.â
He raised both eyebrows and nodded âRight, Iâll consider my very nice gesture of lacing up your corset a very tiresome and bothersome activity I do everyday at work.â
Hero had had it, not to mention she was pretty sure her cheeks were getting pink again. She tossed the dress at him. âShut up and put this back.â
âNo.â he stood defiantly.
âNo?â
âI have a deal for you.â
âVillain, save it for later, just put it back.â
âHear me out Hero.â He opened the dress for her to step in. âTry it on and if it doesnât fit you get to say I told you so and I will heartily beg your forgiveness.â
She looked at him with some confusion. âYou? Beg?â She had to stifle a chuckle.
âOn my knees.â He looked wistfully dramatic like he was toying with her. She couldnât believe what she was hearing and couldnât tell if he was being serious or not.
âOh, the drama. I hate to know what my side of the bargain would be.â
He smiled a little. âA dance.â
Her heart skipped. What was he trying to do? âA-A dance?â She ignored her own stutter and hoped he would as well. His mouth turned up just a fraction as he noticed.
âIf it fits you, all I ask is a single dance.â
She tried to put on every mask she had, suppress every betraying expression that warred for prominence on her face. Instead of addressing what he said directly she tried a different approach. âWe are already dancing tonight I donât see the point.â
She turned just a little trying to avoid his gaze that suddenly was becoming too much as she feigned fixing her hair in the mirror.
âNo, our aliases are dancing together tonight.â
She rolled her eyes in order to seem uninterested. âThatâs still us dummy.â
He came up behind her dress in hand as he brought it out in front of her ready to get in. He chuckled. âDummy huh? Real original. Step.â He held the dress open expectantly.
âNot until you tell me what you mean.â She turned and looked up at him, slightly regretting it due to how close he now was.
He sighed feigning being put out as he lowered the dress. âI want one dance with you Hero. Not as my fake trophy wife that the public believes you to be. I want one dance where you arenât tense and looking around the ballroom for trouble with every spin. Just the real you and the real me.â
Hero couldnât believe what she was hearing, her voice came out quiet and her eyes were a little wider than normal. âThat sounded dangerously unprofessional Villain.â
âGood, thatâs how I meant it.â He stepped forward, his eyes sparkling as he tapped her foot with hers as he held out the waiting fabric once more. âStep?â
She turned hoping he didnât see the way actions had completely disarmed her. She stepped carefully into the fabric and tried not to react to the feeling of him doing up the buttons all the way up her back. âWhat if I were to say I hope that it doesnât button all the way?â
He paused just long enough to gently pull her hair out of the way and drape it to front of her shoulder. âI would say I donât believe that for a moment.â
She swallowed as he did up the last button. âGood because I donât either.â

A post about the time Hawks made Kacchan really, really jealous.
When I watched this scene in the anime I found it amusing as hell. Kacchanâs behaviour felt kind of strange/off though, but after I saw the panelling of the scene in the manga recently, it only seems even more funny and bkdk driven. His behaviour also made more sense. Iâll breakdown the scene and go into some of Kacchanâs deeper issues after.
They meet with Hawks after he helps them bring down villains. Izuku is star struck from the get-go and nervously greets the rank #2, who likewise recognises him from the sports festival.
Hawks tells Izuku he's heard about him from Tokoyami... then backtracks and says, "No, actually... (even without that) I would have liked to have worked with you, too, but..."
However, before he can finish explaining himself... he feels a "sakki", meaning bad feeling or literally "killing intent." (But the anime didn't show this part of their interaction! or how noticing the sakki interrupted Hawks' speech. So this is another one of those little flavourful nuances anime watchers(me) missed out on)
sakki (æźșæ° Â The individual kanji are pronounced satsu and ki, respectively, but due to Japanese grammar rules, the -tsu in the former is dropped and the consonant in ki is geminated, turning it into sa- + -kki.), which is primarily used by practitioners of Ninjutsu; "Killing Intent" is the most literal translation, with "Bloodlust" as a close second. The Chinese equivalent is sha qi - x
Which is kind of funny, considering Katsuki's soon to be revealed hero name which also had âSatsuâ in it. Dai Baku Sasshin Dynamight. (Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight)
Hawks turns to the source of the "sakki"... and it's Kacchan staring bloody murder at him, challenging him! After the stuff Hawks said, it feels like Kacchan is even more annoyed at Hawks for taking a special interest in Izuku, by saying he wanted to work with him (despite being so busy he left Tokoyami in the care of his sidekicks). I think in Kacchan's mind this means a scenario where Izuku would have been with Hawks at his hero nest instead of with Kacchan at Endeavour's agency... đ How territorial! I think Hawks also noticed something was off and taunts him, just for fun. đ€
Also, this is only a funny coincidence, but after Hawks says something that feels like he's wanting to 'take Izuku away,' Kacchan just happens to say âAbout before, I got in faster than you." It could mean absolutely nothing, or it could be the slightest nuance for "I was here first. Deku's already been mine since childhood, so back off.â Like an inside joke Hori made for himself, knowing he was writing bkdk to become the main canon couple in the series.
I'm /hj ofc but⊠you never know! It's wild that Kacchan is even this hung up on what Hawks did in the first place, so I might be trying to make it make more sense! understandably, right?
When Hawks leaves, not only is Izuku swooning over him again... now Shouto is too! Kacchan can't stand it! I don't know about you, but if Kacchan's intense reaction is only that Hawks showed them up, itâs a severe case of the punishment not fitting the crime. Not to mention, it began when Hawks started chatting up Izuku about getting him to intern with him and got even worse because Izuku went full fanboy mode LOL
Later at the agency heâs still filled with rage from their meeting, making up an insulting nickname for Hawks that can loosely be translated as âsmiling birdbrainâ (Hawks wears a carefree smile on his face and Katsuki doesnât like it. He thinks heâs being smug - which he was, but only just a little⊠so again⊠punishment â crime which is why we can theorise there was something more to his jealousy.)
Lmaooo listen. Think of a really possessive boyfriend who canât stand their lover checking out other people and commenting on how attractive they are. And you've literally got how Kacchan feels about being a hero in front of Izuku.
Kacchan's gotten jealous like this before, when Shouto declared war on Izuku at the start of BNHA. That's how he got involved with the Todoroki family drama, because his jealousy drove him to follow them sneaking off alone together. And again in the third movie, at the very end, when Kacchan's boyfriend stayed back to say goodbye to Rody, and he glared at them the whole way going up the escalator lmao
Jealous Katsuki "needs Izuku's attention on him always" Bakugou has three modes: âWhy arenât you looking only my way you shitty nerd.â âForget this other bastard, what about me??? Iâm âsugoiâ right?!!â and our fave (đ) âJust keep your eyes on me, shitty Deku!â
He responded with SO MUCH irritation at Hawks simply because Izukuâs fanboying over somebody thatâs not him.
Poor Kacchan has to compete with all other heroes for Izukuâs affection because heâs an otaku that grew up worshipping all quirks. đ
Meet Katsuki Bakugou: From the age of four, he was told by family, doctors, teachers, hero loving society and the next door neighbour's cat that his quirk is the embodiment of excellence. What a guy! He will go far in life so we should let him do whatever he wants, itâs fine! He can be my sidekick! In a world where a person's character and value are measured by the power and usefulness of their quirk, Katsuki was the king.
Then thereâs Kacchan: Grew up alongside this shiny doe eyed shitnerd who was always watching him, walking behind him, telling him stuff like he's sugoi and his quirk is so cool and he is so cool and wouldnât it be cool if he also got a quirk as strong as his... And years later, Kacchan is (unsurprisingly) triggered that his Deku is reacting to everyone else and their âinferiorâ quirks in almost the exact same way that he does with him. He has the biggest LOVE (ONLY!) ME DAMNIT vibes with Izuku! good lordt
The main issue Katsuki encountered after entering U.A and the world of pro heroes, was suddenly not being the obvious choice for best anymore. His usual status of being societyâs king was completely upended after his world opened up to people like Iida, Shoto, Enji and Hawks. Something that was so effortless to him before, now required a lot of hard work, if he was going to rise above even the outstanding.
And I think a big reason he feels insecure around other talented people is because a part of him will always want to stay the coolest and strongest in Izukuâs eyes! Thatâs why Izuku acknowledging others sets him off a little. He knows what Izukuâs like⊠but he still wants to be the coolest to him, unquestionably sugoi and stay Izukuâs #1.
And sometimes itâs almost like, unless Izuku is the one doing the praising and fanboying Katsuki and only Katsuki, there's just no meaning to any of it for him.
ïŒ* .âąÂ° ⿠°âą. âăâą *â°ă â°ă àłáŠ
It was only ever Izuku.
Growing up, surrounded by admiration from people who never dared to stand up to Katsuki... ultimately, it was only ever Izuku who valued his own set of principles and stood up to him when he was wrong. Because Izuku... was always honest with him, about everything. He let Katsuki know when he didn't approve of his behaviour, which meant the times Izuku did praise him was something that could be trusted. It didn't feel like the empty praise from everyone around him who only saw him for his quirk. It didn't feel like a lie.
Katsuki eventually realised the reason Izuku faced him was because Izuku genuinely cares. He saw all of him and despite intimately knowing his weaknesses and flaws not once did Izuku stop believing in him... so before Katsuki knew it, Izuku became the only person whose attention and approval actually meant something to him.
Can you blame him, though? Izukuâs the one who has been faithfully at Katsuki's side his entire life, sharing his dreams, believing in the best of him, gently encouraging him to do better than his worst, teaching him kindness of the heart and heroic sacrifice and finally⊠what it means to love someone so fiercely, you could give your everything and call it by their name.
Katsukiâs forever hero who always comes running to save him, no matter what. His one and only constant. How could he not become completely intertwined with him and fall hopelessly in love?

Date Nights with Midoriya Izuku
From my Date Night Series
1.
Izuku draws two hero cards and lays them out in front of him.
You read the names aloud, familiar enough with their faces to recognise them even upside down.
âShouto and Kamui Woods. Uh, thatâs an interesting setup. Draw the situation card now.âÂ
Youâre already bouncing in your seat as he draws a yellow card and lifts it up to read from it.
âYour heroes are called to a flash flood. Rescue is top priority but they cannot eliminate the threat of a villain causing the flood. How do you proceed?â
Heâs not yet finished reading when he's already starting to mumble, all the ideas in his head tumbling out of his mouth at a speed almost incomprehensible for others to understand.
âOne minute is up.â You turn the tiny hourglass with a satisfied grin. âYour answer, please.â
âOkay, soâŠâ He takes a deep breath and grins back. âKamui Woods will primarily engage in rescue. Shouto can freeze the water which would take it away from the possible villain and make the rescue easier butâŠâ, he emphasizes the last word before continuing, âHe has to make sure not to freeze any civilians which would be hard but doable. Considering that Shouto has icepowers the villain would be quickly apprehended. Do I get a point?â
You highfive him. âYes, you get a point! Now, first impression of the game so far? Do you think we need to change something before it goes into production?â
âNo, I love it. ButâŠâ He hesitates for a moment before you nod, urging him to continue. âNot everyone is as knowledgeable about these heroes as we are, if you would add a point system to the cards or something like strengths and weaknesses it could also be played by children.â
âI was thinking about that.â You start chewing on your pen, eyes focused on your notepad, not realizing that Izuku's eyes are now glued to your lips. âBut I did not want to add too much information, you know, itâs a card game, not something that could potentially help villains.â
âWhat about if you add villains too?â
âOh, theyâre in the extension pack.â You join into his laugh. âBut seriously, what do you think about this design thenâŠâÂ
He leans forward as you sketch, his hair brushing against your temples.Â
Youâre always productive but never as much as when Izuku is around.Â
If only you could see him like this every day.
-
2.
âWhat do you wanna play tonight?â You ask, glass of wine in one hand, the other tugging out games from your cupboard, revealing even more games behind them.
This week's date night is at your place, and Izukuâs dutifully doing the dishes after youâve cooked, even though he barely fits into your tiny kitchen.
âHow about your game?â He asks, turning to look at you and narrowly avoids hitting his head. âWe havenât played that in ages.â
âYou sure? I always win that game.â
His laugh wafts through the air like the smell of wine and the chocolates he brought back from the agency.
âI do have some motivation to win today.â
âYou do?â You ask, teasing audible in your voice. âI thought you always have the motivation to win.â
You walk back towards him - which doesnât take long in your tiny apartment, but at least you donât have to share it with a roommate like he does - and swing yourself onto the kitchen counter, legs dangling next to his hip.Â
He leans in for a kiss right away, not caring about the suds dripping from his hand as his hands find your hips.
âIf I win,â he tells you as he smiles, âYouâre going to move in with me.â
âAnd if I win?â You ask back, swallowing down your heart before it beats out of your chest at his words.
He smiles, already teary eyed himself.
âThen Iâm gonna move in with you.â
âOh, so itâs on then.â You giggle into his lips as he kisses you again.Â
âLiving with Kacchan as a roommate or you hitting your head every morning?â
âYouâre gonna give it your all?â He asks but thereâs a teasing lilt to it that tells you that he has something entirely else in mind. And youâre not going to find out what it is just yet.
âPlus Ultra.â

Placate
The hero wanted to believe it was one of their friends, an agency member, someone else, anyone else, they would have taken a burglar at this point.
But no. No friend, agency member, or burglar would leave the front door open so purposefully, so dauntingly.
They knew this day would come, they just didnât imagine it would be so soon.
The light turned on.
âWhere have you been?â The villain asked from the lounge chair, petting the heroâs cat.
It was very obviously a rhetorical question, the villain knew where the hero had been, because now the villain was here, too.
The heroâs eyes flicked down to their purring cat comfortable in the villainâs lap, back up to the villainâs expectant face.
âI wasâam on an assignment.â They wondered how fast they would have to be to get their cat and then get to the panic button.
Not fast enough.
If they needed to be placating, they could be. It would what drew the villain to them, they knew that now.
âAn assignment that takes six months?â The villain asked, lazily waving their free hand around. âAn assignment that gives you this? Itâs cutesy, comfortable. Too small for my taste, but you know that.â
It was a test hidden behind poisonously pleasant words.
Will you be telling me the truth? Are you foolish enough to lie?
A question the hero didnât want to answer, but there were limited options.
Placate, placate, placate.
âItâs my final assignment.â The hero clenched their fists, nails digging into skin, forcing upon them clarity to think, a reminder not to stutter, not to feel. âGoing civilian, for my safety.â
âOh?â The villainâs eyes widened for a fraction of a second. âDo tell. What was so dangerous that your little agency felt the need to give you an identity change?
Another test.
âIt was noted that the othersâotherâother villains,â The hero forced themselves to take a breath in, and clenched their fists even harder. âwere targeting me, thinking it would hurt you.â
âMm.â The villain cocked their head to the side, looking at the hero in an indecipherable way.
Disappointment? Amusement? Hunger?
The hero was never able to tell.
âWell. I can admit my faults, but this is an easy fix, my darling. Iâll handle the others. Now, the carâs been running just a bit too long, so if we could?â
The villain stood, still holding the heroâs cat.
âI canât.â The heroâs fists unclenched, wondering if their cat could be swayed to jump from the villainâs arms. âI signed a contract. If I re-emerge, I could be considered an active threat, measures would be taken against me, um, I canât.â
The villain smiled. âNow that is a bigger problem, but I could garner a few solutions. Come along, we can even bringâŠâ They trailed off, looking at the catâs name tag. âChestnut.â
âIâll become a public enemy. I donât own the name Hero, I just use it, Iââ
âAnd thatâs the very problem, isnât it?â The villain let Chestnut jump from their arms, watching the heroâs shoulders relax ever so slightly. âThis day and age of heroics and villainy, itâs all very theatrical. We used to do this because of values, morals, plans for world domination.â
They gave the hero a once over.
âThe other heroes are good at the limelight, thrive, even, itâs the whole reason they sign the contracts and take the name, but they canât beat you in character, and the numbers of casualties in their fights versus yours speaks volumes. You werenât good at the attention, not until I got to you, at least.â
âAnd I thank you for the help, but Iâm done with the cameras, interviews, the saving people.â
âWhat a shame. You used to talk about being a symbol, about helping people, a hero through and through, not any of that pretending youâre a movie star. Itâs what makes youâŠâ
âMalleable?â
âI was going to say unique. No need for the dramatics.â
When the hero didnât respond, didnât move, didnât even look like they were breathing, the villainâs polite mask dropped.
The hero hated that, how easily the villain could switch around their personality. They also hated the villainâs unblinking eyes.
The villain could blink, the hero was sure, but whenever it was just the two of them, the villain always made sure to be constantly watching.
âAs I said, I can think of a few solutions to your problems.â They held out an expectant hand. âShall we?â
âYou were using me.â The hero blurted out. âYou werenât trying to help me be better, you wereâyou wereââ
âI was what?â
âMaking me into a tool. You would have turned me into a monster.â
The villain scoffed. âA monster? Please. You would have been beloved by the world, no contract or agency could hold you, you would have been second to none.â
âExcept you.â The hero noticed that Chestnut was curling around the villainâs legs, slowly realizing that their best option at this point might have been to turn heel. âI would have been second to none except you.â
The villain smiled again, though it looked more like an animal bearing their teeth in annoyance.
âEventually not. Once weâve finished with the others, all the theatrics and the celebrity treatment, we could begin the real work. We could be equals, my darling.â
âYou were manipulating me so that you could have the perfect opponent?â The hero felt bile rise in their throat.
There was evidence of the villain using them, solid proof shown directly after that scolding from the agency for allowing a villain to mentor them, but to hear it from the villain themselves was something else entirely.
âTwist my words in whatever way youâll have. We both win. You wonât have to worry about the performance of being a hero, you can simply go out and save the day how you like. Tell me itâs not tempting. Now, it has been a treat tracking you down, my darling, they hid you well, but I must insist we leave. Thereâs a long drive ahead of us.â
âNo.â
Chestnut had wandered closer to the hero.
âAh, would you prefer we fly? Itâs not my favorite, butââ
âIâm not going with you.â They reached down slowly, picking up Chestnut, hoping to make it look as though they were holding her for comfort.
The villain watched, their jaw clenched, anger barely concealed.
âI made you.â They seethed through an unusually quiet voice. âAnd if I have to, I will break you, and build you up again.â
The hero took a step back. âFind another hero to manipulate.â
With a deep breath, the villain collected themselves, never breaking eye contact with the hero.
âYou know, part of the plan was to make you fall in love with me.â They admitted, taking only a step forward to match the heroâs step back. âOr at least have you grow fond enough of me that you wouldnât betray me so easily. But obviously, it didnât work. Lucky for the both of us, I can work with fear. You have an abundance of that, donât you?â
The hero turned heel.
There was no placating a villain.

here is lil a jasico idea i thought was funny thats been bouncin round my skull, it is yours if u are so inclined
a superhero au wherein jason is besties with nico and has a crush on him... and jason has lightning powers and a vigilante superhero persona. nico is a fanboy about jason's hero alter ego, and somehow jasons support as a hero (fellow heroes, the people in his earpiece back at his hq) fall so that literally everyone else in their friend group know that the alter ego is jason, realise that jason has a crush on nico, and encourage nicos fanboying to tease jason
jason tries to approach nico as his hero self in one of those typical 'the person i like is in danger, i will save them and also chat em up a bit', but plot twist, between nerves about his crush, panic from nico just being in danger and trying not to reveal anything, he just absolutely fumbles the interaction to the point where nico loses all interest in the hero. jason thinks if he cant even manage anything when nico literally totally admires him he basically has no chance. meanwhile, something jason said during his awkward flop moment caused nico for whatever reason to be like 'hmm mayhaps my feelings for my bestie go a little deeper than i thought? i shall have to investigate further'
sorry if thats like, too much, like i said its been BOUNCIN around in there for a whike
ANON PLS COME BACK now this is bouncin in MY head. I haven't stopped thinking about it since you sent it in. It only took so long because there were so many ways to take it. I want to write more for this au, this is so fun. Anyway... hero infrastructure abounds here because I have been thinking abt HENCH again.
Never meet your heroes, Nico reminded himself, staring at the paused video on his computer screen. In the still image, Tonitro looked as put-together and gorgeous as always. His wheat-blond hair was rakishly askew.
Probably in a breeze of his own making, Nico thought sourly. He clicked away from the photo, having gotten everything he needed for his report. Jason would be here any minute, and Nico wanted to clear his mind of the encounter with Tonitro before he got there.
Nico hated to admit it, but he'd really let himself down. He had built up an image in his mind based on Tonitro's public persona, and he had fallen for it, hook, line and sinker. It was the same thing that he was always warning his fellow students against doing with vigilantes, and here he was, having done the same thing with Tonitro. And why? Just because he was a fully licensed hero? Nico shook his head. The licensing procedure needed an overhaul anyway, how he could have forgotten that in the midst of his hero worship was beyond him.
He saved his paper and shut the lid of his laptop with an irritated flick of his fingers. Beside it, his phone buzzed with an incoming message.
Jason: going to be a few minutes late, sorry. Villain traffic on 101.
Nico blinked, surprised. He swiped for his notifications, in case he'd missed something while he'd been thinking about (read: stewing over) Tonitro.
He hadn't. Which meant that Jason was there before even the media managed to be. Nico tapped out a quick message, crossing his fingers that Jason would see it before he had to duck for cover.
Nico: see if you can get me any usable pictures before the hounds get there
He didn't try and remind Jason to be safe. It wasn't his place. Jason knew better than any of them the dangers that heroes could pose, having had his last job be completely decimated by one of Waterspout's fights.
He'd been honestly surprised when Jason hadn't gone to the Heroes Union for help with his unemployment assistance after that disaster, but he'd claimed that the agency he'd been contracted through hadn't had the insurance to cover it. That had been both irresponsible and downright stupid enough for Nico to get distracted and go on a rant about liability. He frowned. Now that he thought about it, he didn't think that they'd actually finished that conversation. His phone buzzed.
[Jason] aww want the best pics of your bf??
Nico grimaced. That meant Tonitro was there. He hadn't gotten around to telling Jason the truth about Tonitro's sparkling personality.
He yanked his laptop back toward him and opened up a new tab to one of the more reputable news sites. It took three refreshes of the page untilâthere, in big red letters, the words LIVE FEED hovered above a video embedded at the top of the page.
"We are live from interstate 101, where known villain Pontifexâ" Nico grimaced. Pontifex was a piece of work, but he let the words fade into the background as he leaned in toward his monitor. There didn't appear to be any damage to the bridge itself, and the chopper was too far from the fight itself to make much out. He could, however, see the rescue crew leading the evacuation efforts. Charmant stood on the cab of a semi truck, presumably where Tonitro had dropped her, her bright outfit a shining beacon for anyone who needed to find their way to her and her ever so charming voice.
As Nico watched, his elevated heart rate calming just a bit at the sight of the evacuation going well, the feed went fuzzy.
A flare of lightning and the deafening roar that followed it crashed to earth, taking Pontifex with it.
The camera turned from Charmant, and the grainy image of Tonitro hovering in the air, still crackling with electricity, focused into sharp clarity as the cameraman recovered.
Despite himself, even Nico had to admit that as the sole point of light in the thunderous sky, Tonitro looked impressive.
He had nearly relaxed, hopeful that the hero would have Pontifex well in hand soon, when the first wave hit the bridge, and the cameraman zoomed in on a blur of blue and orange.
Nico's stomach dropped, and his heart rate picked back up. Cold terror wrapped around him like shadows. He was moving before he even finished processing what he saw.
On paper, Tonitro and Waterspout were the city's most effective team. They had the highest villain capture rate of all other registered hero teams combined.
On paper, they also had the highest dispersion rate for infrastructural damage.
And they were on a bridge.
Nico swore as his fingers fumbled on his Bluetooth earpiece. He must have hit Jason's number twelve times before his fingers finally slid onto the call button by sheer chance.
He had his keys in hand and helmet on before the phone even rang once.
Even if the evacuation went perfectly (it never did), Jason wouldn't have a car by the time Tonitro and Waterspout were done with Pontifex.
Nico just had to hope that he could find his friend in the chaos that was sure to follow.
_
Had to stop it there because I couldn't for the life of me decide if I wanted to actually give Nico superpowers of his own or not. I have plot bunnies for both options, and this idea is just never going to leave me alone now!!!
I didn't even get to the jasico proper bc I can see like eight different directions that I want this to go and just.. ooh it's so fun!! Thank you again nonnie! đ feel free to let me know your thoughts and onions and whether or not you'd like to see more of this au!

Hi! I love your blog! If you have time, please consider writing a fic with lee bakugou, and lers the top 3 pro hero (endeavor, hawks, best jeanist, since the three of them have some kind of connection with bakugou) Thank you!!
First of all, thank you!! I really appreciate that! And secondly, a long time ago I stopped reading manga or watching anime for study purposes, so I decided to find out a little with my friend what is up to date and with the Internet. So, I hope and you like it!
Warning: This fanfic contains tickles. Also remind them that I don't speak English, so if they find any errors, let me know to correct it. I hope you like it!
Lee: Katsuki Bakugou
Ler: Endeavor, Hawks and Best Jeanist
'I can't figure out how Shoto is friends with that guy', Endeavor sipped his coffee. 'What type?' 'I mean, the green-haired boy is totally passable, but that blond is a bundle of nerves and anger, always yelling and demanding that the green-haired boy die' 'You mean Bakugou? I knew him for a while, if he is quite rude', well the pro heroes agreed on something, Katsuki Bakugou was a bitter
'Isn't the boy from Class 1-A what was kidnapped by the league of villains?' 'That same one, I mean, it's not like they heard it from me or anything like that but, that student is all bitter, however... He's weak to something totally childish', Hawks and Endeavor looked confused at the hero, looking at each other. trying to find out if anyone knew or understood what he was talking about
During the internship that Bakugou had at the Best Jeanist agency, he tried everything to get along with the boy, being rejected many times and taking the hero to 'extremes'.
'FUHUHUCK OHOHOFF!! GEHEHET AWAHAHAHAY!! DAHAHAHAMN HERO!!', Jeanist had managed to imprison Bakugou with his threads, 'ruthlessly' attacking the young man's exposed armpits. 'You shouldn't be so bitter, do you know what happens to bitter people?' '*scream of laughter*' 'Exactly, that's what happens to them...'
'Ohohoho, wow, who would have thought, I suddenly want to try it, Endeavor-san, would you help me?' 'I don't have time for childish games like that, so ask Jeanist to help you' 'Of course not... I won't, I promised not to say anything about it', Jeanist finished his coffee and with that, he left
'Come on Endeavor-san! Help me! I promise to pay you! I just want him to hold it' 'If I help you, will you promise to leave me alone for a damn week?' With that, the deal was closed. Hawks sent a note to Bakugou to leave the dormitories for a while, as he would be given a gift and some money just for doing so.
'Where is the stupid prize?!', Bakugou was literally taken flying from that place, he saw a pair of crimson feathers that were pulling his clothes and body until they reached a rooftop, far from the UA
'We have it!' 'Make your damn move now, I'm stressed and I want to go home', Endeavor said seriously, ignoring that Bakugou was hitting him with all his might and sometimes even trying to bite him to get free. 'THIS IS THE PRIZE?! I WILL TELL AIZAWA-SENSEI, YOU COUPLE OF SCAMMERS!!'
'Oh! Come on Katsuki! We won't do anything to you~', Hawks bloody hypocrite, Bakugou thought, wouldn't they do anything to him? So why was he digging in his armpits so vigorously?
'FUHUHUCK!! WAHAIT!! HOHOHOW?! THAT MOHOHOTHERFUHUHUCKEEEEER!!!', it didn't take long to find out who told them, Best Jeanist, you promised
'Isn't this amazing, Endeavor-san? The most rebellious and strong boy acting like a little kid!' 'What fun! Woooo!', sarcasm.
'GRRRR!! SHIHIHINE!! *snort* OHOHOLD MAHAHAHANS!! PIEHEHEHECES OF SHIHIHIT!!' 'Hey, who did you call old man?!', Endeavor's free hand came down and began to squeeze Bakugou's ribs, chuckling internally as one of Bakugou's kicks caught Hawks in the face.
'So... you think you can hit me and walk away?! Come here!', Hawks raised his wings and some detached and passed to Bakugou's body. Neck, knees, belly, sides, feet, back and armpits, there was no place free from the feathers and the 'revenge' of Hawks
Bakugou howled and squirmed, it wasn't like he was going anywhere, but he was trying to get away from everything, from the embarrassment and from the tickles.
'FUHUHUCK!!! *SCREAM* GEHEHEHHEEHEHHEEHE!!!! *SQUEAL* *YOWL* ENOHOHOHUGH!!!' 'That's enough Hawks, he's just a child', Hawks looked at Endeavor, and agreed only if he apologized for kicking him.
'SOHOHORRY FOHOHOR THE KIHIHICK!!!' 'Mmmmm...Okay!', everything stopped and Bakugou had to be grabbed again by Endeavor, as he would have fallen on his face as a goofy smile formed on his face, laughing lightly as tears slipped down his red cheeks.
'You've gone too far... Leave him in his room, that's your problem now! You will deal with Aizawa', Endeavor abandoned the winged hero.
Well Hawks returned Bakugou to his room, earning a shout out from mother caterpillar Aizawa for stealing his offspring.

Gosh, sorry just had a thought on that previous ask I sent you, sort of a book end,-ish.
Basically, when Ladybug arrives to confront Fable, 'Adrien' checks out.
Adrien: Whether I want to help you milady, my friend or even myself doesn't matter, I'm only here to buoy people's spirits and be passive.
IE, a commentary on how he feels he lacks agency, especially fitting as this is in S2.
Kagami: Whether I want to watch her kill herself by your hand is as irrelevant as to whether I want to be free, treated kindly, or so much as rest. My duty is to play my role.
Chloe (Hysterical) Whether I want to be a hero, to have even one person love me or even as for help doesn't matter, all I know how to be is a monster!
Of course Ladybug wins, the story demands a satisfying conclusion.
When everyone's trying to piece themselves back together, Adrien is checking on Plagg, Kagami is closing off and Chloe is... Scattered.
"I.. We. am. I... Leaving. Leaving now."
Then Ladybug just pulls her into a hug, "You aren't a monster, you're a young girl whose hurting more than she realizes, but I've seen before underneath all that fire is a hero."
Suffice to say Chloe just breaks down sobbing in her arms, but gets it under control by force when she hears Ladybug's earrings beep. "I'm not going not be selfish now of all times."
Before leaving Ladybug says she'll be checking in on the others too.
Kagami: You don't have to-
Ladybug: I'm not getting permission to treat you kindly, and Adrien, you're stronger than you realize, you got this far after all.
(Then she leaps away)
Notes:
Also, it occurred to me that this could actually take place in regular S2, or early S3 without needing Kagami in the same class as them. She just needs to decide she's sick of Chloe's attitude and Adrien's passive attitude after all.
I think I see the Final Confrontation as . . . a bit of an anti-climax? Like. They know how the story goes. They know they are going to be "rescued", that Ladybug is going to win. But also, I feel like their "curses" keep them from doing much, cause part of it is that NONE of these kids really have a lot of agency.
Adrien's vines have drained him so much he can barely move. Kagami's crystal form keeps her rooted to the spot. The one most able to move is ChloĂ©, and I could see her actually fighting HERSELF rather than Ladybug. The Masks would make her fight, but ChloĂ© doesnât WANT to fight Ladybug, she just wants everything to STOP. So, actually, I see her finally ripping off a Mask, then covering her face so none of the others can attach themselves. All any of them could do is talk.
Chloé: "And so, the hero arrives at last."
Kagami: "And so, the hero arrives to save us from our fate."
Adrien: "And so, the hero arrives to save the damsels in distress!"
Kagami: "To save the prince, who thinks his vines a gift, not a curse."
Chloé: "To save the warrior heir, who sees her crystal form as strength, not a curse."
Adrien: "To save the princess, who has worn masks so long, a curse they've become!"
Ladybug approaches the Writing Desk.
Fable(all three): "Our story is told, our story is written. Our curses are cast, our Savior arrived. So tell us, oh Hero of this Tale - are we villains or victims? Architects of our own misery, or merely locked in its halls? Is the moral a farce, the message unclear? Is Ever After to be joyous or damned? Our story is told, but its ending is not. Are we to be saved, or defeated? Tell us The End."
Ladybug breaks the desk, purifying the Akuma.
Fable, fading: "Ah, a fitting End to our Tale."
Then, after. Well, most people donât remember what they did as Akuma. This is true for the kids, though they are still affected by what happened in different ways. Adrien is - physically, mentally, emotionally - drained and EXHAUSTED. He wants to eat for three and sleep for a week. Kagami feels stiff, tense, but weirdly wired. She wants to stretch, to run, fence until her muscles ache, she needs to MOVE. And ChloĂ©. ChloĂ© may not remember it clearly, but she just spent the past two hours cycling through every emotion she could possibly have at a rapid, ever-changing pace. She just breaks down in tears because she is so overwhelmed, the tears are her body trying to release that pressure somehow. She is feeling WAY TOO MUCH, she needs the world to STOP for a second so she can find her bearings again. Again, itâs the emotional equivalent of a thirty car pile-up during rush hour traffic on a twenty lane highway. Ladybug hugs her, and ChloĂ© is clinging to a single point as she tries in vain to wrestle her emotions into something she can actually DEAL with.

Alleyway (pt. 1)
Dabi (Touya Todoroki) x Reader (GN?)
**Note: I wrote this invistioniing a Fem! Reader but never actually say/imply it so anyone could read **Genre: Fluff(?) **Warning(s): Cussing, and weapon meantioned **Word Count: 642 **Key: Talking Dabi, You
âCan you drop the fucking knife?â âWhy donât you drop the fucking attitude first, sweetheart?â Dabi had you pinned against a wall knife to your neck. This wasnât this first time you had been in this situation with Dabi threatening your life, but you were certain to make it your last. âSo why are you here, doll?â His voice dripped with arrogance and mockery with every word. âCome to finish me off at last?â You stayed silent trying to think of a way out of this. He overpowered you and being quirkless put you in a very bad position.
You remember your first encounter like it was yesterday. You were working with the pro heroes because though you were quirkless you were quite the detective. You were able to help solve many cases because of your amazing deductive reasoning skills. You ended up on a case about some mysterious fires killing several people. At first the investigators chalked it up to being accidental or an arsonist. Then the league of villains came on the scene, and you quickly pieced the puzzle together. Now when you had your first encounter you didnât know nearly as much as you know now. This time you were prepared. The first meeting you had ended up in the crossfires of pros and the league of villains. Dabi had grabbed you and threatened to incinerate you then and there. He ended up letting you go but he also got away. This time was different though.
This time was different because after that encounter you did all the digging on Dabi as you could. Finding out anything and everything the agency had on him. You tracked his movements and kept digging. When digging you discovered the only Touya Todoroki case. It didnât take long to connect the dots (though everyone thought you were just reaching after all Touya was dead). You knew the truth though and you were planning on using that. Now was your chance and yet you found yourself struggling to take him down. Tell him you know the whole truth and get answers. You had a pager in your pocket you could press, and pros would come running to the rescue, yet you found yourself unable to do it. You didnât know why but being this close to him you couldnât help but get lost in his beautiful blue eyes. Why? He was a villain, he stood for the opposite of your values, yet you couldnât help but want to be closer to him.
âHello, sweetheart. You listening?â You were totally zoned out and had missed most of what he had been saying. âListen⊠I need to tell you something.â âGo on then, tell me.â His grip loosened and he moved the blade away, but you didnât try to run. âDabi, is it? Iâve been researching about you and investigating you. Tracking you even since our first meeting.â âWow my own stalker.â âShut up. It was for my job not for pleasure, Iâm not a freak. Anyways I came across something and I was just wondering. Youâre the âdeadâ Touya Todoroki arenât you?â He completely letâs go of you and stumbles back momentarily, stunned by your question. âHow did you know? No one knows?â âI came across the file while I was doing research on you and unlike my incompetent coworkers, I was able to connect the dots.â âYes.â âYes?â âI am Touya Todoroki.â Silence fell between you two, finally he spoke again. âThe pager in your pocket. You couldâve pressed it by now. I know it alerts the pros to your location and theyâll come to save you. So why not press it?â âHonestly? Because I donât think I need them to save me. At least not here. Not from you.â âWhatâs that suppose to me?â âI just mean I think Iâm safe with youâŠ.â

comfort crowd â iida
a/n: I know I said I was gonna post bakugo today but Iâm a filthy liar and there was a double update yesterday. however, his should hopefully be out tomorrow, Iâm just stumped on what his would be. also tenya is domestic af send tweet
song: comfort crowd by conan gray
!! tsuyu â prev | iida | next â bakugo !! | masterlist
iida â quality time
it had been a long day. you knew of this because tenya had called you by 11 am, even though heâd only been on shift for 4 hours, to vent his frustrations: his patrol partner had called in sick last minute, he had no back up in any of the 4 mostly minor but tedious villain attacks he had to deal with today, thus resulting in him having to take the brunt of the paperwork (his mortal enemy) and heâd left his lunch at home.
trying to stifle your laughter at how distraught he sounded after hanging up, you couldnât help but smile at the childish pout you could hear in his voice as you got off the couch to head to the kitchen. surely enough on the counter plain as day was his bento, thing of orange juice, and thermos of coffee. it was your off day, or mostly, you didnât have any meetings until after one so you didnât need to go in early or stay long after them. putting his things in a bag and grabbing your own bento out of the fridge, you grabbed your purse and headed out the door. his agency wasnât anything more than a ten minute walk but if heâs been as busy as he seems it would make sense that he couldnât have just ran home to grab it, especially when he refused to use his quirk for his own personal benefit outside of hero work.
getting to the front door of the agency, you easily walked in and up to your fiancĂ©s office. having been together nearly 7 years now everyone was used to your presence in the office no matter if you were there yesterday or last month. knocking before you opened the door, tenyaâs head shot up from the paperwork he was dutily completing. âoh thank god,â he sighed out in relief and you couldnât help but laugh as you started to take everything out of your bag.
he quickly cleared his desk to make room for both your lunches, automatically taking the thermos and drinking part of it before putting it down and moving to the other side of his desk so he could sit beside you as you ate.
A smile settled on his face as you both started eating and his hand intertwined in yours. the silence between you was enjoyable, his hand squeezing yours occasionally and as time passed you watched as the tension eased from his shoulder and he seemed to become more energized though that could have easily been the coffee.
âthank you, love.â he mumbled as he leaned in to press a kiss to your cheek and you smiled at the man beside you. âI know today was your day off but I appreciate you coming over.â
âAlways, itâs never a problem for you babe.â You promised, packing up your lunch.
âI can take these home when I get off, are you going to be off at your normal time?â He asked as he copied your movements, taking yours off your hand and you faced him, a matching smile on his lips.
âYeah, do you want me to grab anything on the way home for dinner?â You offered, glancing reluctantly at the clock to see that you had to go soon, but not wanting too.
âYeah or we can order in later and watch a movie or something. just staying in tonight sounds enjoyable, but thatâs if you are up to it.â You smiled more at the thought of a night in and stood up, grabbing your bag.
âWe can do that. I love you.â You said as tenya stood up too, pressing a firm but loving kiss to your lips as he went to grab the door.
âI love you too, have fun at your meetings.â He wished and you couldnât help but snort at the thought as you walked out.
âI hope your day gets better.â You added and his face softened any more if possible, relaxed as he leaned on the door face and watched you walk down the hallway, already ready to have you in his arms tonight and not having to worry about menial things like paperwork. The rest of the day seemed much more possible to get through now as he closed the door upon you turning the corner.
âIt already is.â

Really not sure what could be added here. But ok will try.
I kind hate when people say "Shig is the protagonist" bc...he really isnt. I would argue he is not really a character anymore. But a plot device.
Bk is the real mc in Hori's eyes.
But I want to talk about smth: ofa transfering vs afo tranfering.
(It may be dumb but is not dumber than canon)
Not sure if is true thanks to the pacing of the story, but assuming Shig was in the tank for 10 months to get a quirk he...frankly never needed. (What was the selling point here? "Shig going get more power" as if decay wasnt enough) while Izu trained for 10 months.
Shig was in a tube like a dead fish for 10 months.
Izu exercise himself for 10 months to be able to use the quirk.
How afo was transfer to Shig? Via soul?
Afo was shared by 8 people (before Izu enters) and had no real "parasite" effect. But afo does bc...????
We know nothing about afo the quirk or the person.
We know nothing about ofa the quirk and the person.
When afo wanted to steal Shig's body? Bc look I may be wrong but ...since the movies are canon, many others villains, had a small afo quirk and didnt endure "will steal your body" why Shig?
(Bc otherwise how Izu would saved him)
Not sure if I'm making sense. Its just those 2 quirks are so different and so similar...but at the same time we know nothing about it.
Also the inage I shared has the "completation in 70%" so...is afo being injected into his body? In his veins? FOR 10 MONTHS?
Again what was the selling point here? Yes, it does feel like Shig cheat (well he got his comeuppance here) but sorry nothing of this makes sense.
I guess I just want to vent a little bc those quirks are so central to the plot but at the same time we know nothing about. We know shit about yoichi and afo. It's all made up on the spot.
Thanks for the patience (I do like the contrast, in theory. Izu worked hard to gain his quirk as a good hero. Shig as a villain cheated but its Hori so...is all about bk)
Indeed, this whole thing was all over the place.
My assumption was that Garaki wasn't merely transferring AFO into Shigaraki's body, he was also physically and genetically modifying his body to be able to handle not only AFO (the quirk), but also host AFO (the potato). You're right to question how he's transferring the potato, however, because that really isn't explained. I assume that it's the ability of one of the potato's quirks, maybe a combination of a few, that allow them to do this. Or maybe it's because AFO is so connected and attached to his quirk (he's had it for like 200 years) that him and his quirk are one in the same at this point.
(The dreamscape thing is odd. Izuku only has access to it because it's part of his quirk. The potato having access to it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Unless he counts as a pass holder since it was his stockpiling quirk that was given to Yoichi and helped form OFA, but then whoever he stole it from would have been there too. Maybe this is the only way he can access the quirk since it's so unique? But that shouldn't be possible since OFA can't be stolen. And why was he only able to access it when he was inhabiting Shigaraki?)
I do think that the difference between OFA and AFO is that OFA at its course is the ability to be bestowed and inherited. Both the predecessor and successor are given a choice (presumably, if the user's DNA can't pass it down without their intention, then I reckon it can't be inherited unless the inheritor wants to inherit it). The potato can take any quirk form anyone and force it onto someone else. I think that's why it's more parasitic, a lack of consent.
I completely agree that Shigaraki didn't need AFO. He had just come into his own power and took control of an extremist organization with a ton of powerful quirk users at his disposal. Him wanting AFO when he had just done all that was counterintuitive.
I loved what him (and the entire LOV) were doing in Deika. They made season 5 for me (because the Endeavor Agency arc was shit), but you're right that he's just a plot device now. AFO taking him in and raising him to be independent as his own villain with his own allies was completely undermined by him trying to hijack Shigaraki's body

some !! random Elsa and Jin stuff cause @variantia got me thinking
Not really relevant to anything but IN the event of a zombie apocalypse or something of the sort and IF he were to be in a situation where it was him and Elsa, he's obviously going to be super protective and careful and make sure she's rested and safe and gets her share of food first and he's absolutely jumping into danger for her and IF he gets bit or hurt on the way it's FINE, he's always been tough, he'll be okay. He won't tell her because he doesn't want to worry her if it's not that serious! But he's going to be a bit more distanced just in case.
Jin surviving and being saved by Elsa and knowing she's genuinely trying but WHEW yike seeing her be close and friendly and defense of Hawks!! Next time he saw her after that he'd just be so cold but like also !! He'd just blame himself more like Oops here he goes TRUSTING people again wtfff
Him in the rehabilitation au when Elsa gives him a job at her agency!!?? Oh he is employee of the MONTH, of the YEAR. He is on his BEST behavior!! He is volunteering for any assignments he's allowed to take and really does his best to be a type of hero HE needed and he absolutely expresses that to Elsa like, he def sits down and expresses how grateful he is to her and that he hopes he can be useful on her team and not a waste of an oppertunity (cause it's one of the first times besides the League when someone took a chance on him and trusted him
!! Villain Elsa's verse just Jin opening up to Elsa about losing HIS little sister hoping it'll be like a bonding thing like depending on how much he knows and how much Elsa tells him he'd be like "i get it, i lost family too and it felt like my fault because i couldn't do anything to save them." like he wasn't a child himself and he's showing Elsa so much kindness and care because he can tell she needs someone gentle and that loves and accepts her just like HE needed and honestly his favorite hang outs are when it's him and Elsa and Toga watching movies or something.
psssst Jin absolutely picking up/learning some Norwegian and asking her for help when he gets stuck on a word/phrase!!
Still thinking about the second one because she would have to work SO HARD to get on her get to even acknowledge her genuinely like whew that's on the brink of "eveyone treats me like a villain so much maybe I might as well play the part huh? Cause HAWKS REALLY?! Him being like yeah all heroes must be trash, of course you'd defend your own even though he admitted to trying to kill me and betrayed me and my family." Oh he'd be so heated and hurt

Presence and Presents
Secret Santa Snippet for @hufflepuffwritingstuff2! I'm sorry it took a bit longer to get out, but holy shit was this a long piece.
What the fuck do you mean it was 2618 words???
My prompt was: fluffy hero gets "kidnapped" by Villain because they've been sick, and Villain wants to take care of them <3
Which I may or may not have slightly strayed away from? Unsure
Anyways, here you go!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today was rough on them.
Hero was sick, they knew it. They also knew that they definitely weren't going to get better with how they were treating themselves, but they had to keep trying because they didn't want to be caught slacking over something as minor as the flu, especially not during the holiday season.
The crime rate always goes up into its yearly high right around the end during Christmas, this was no time to try and take a break over a small sickness, though they probably should be taking a bit better care of themselves in general to help get through.
"Hey Hero! Ready for our patrol tonight?" Other Hero asked.
"Yeah!" they responded, trying to keep themselves looking on the bright side.
At least they would have some company, and the agency was nice enough to enforce a district-wide mandate that all the heroes have a costume change in the winter to new suits that not only covered more than their spring through fall ones, but also had built in heaters to help with the chill.
As they set out on their path that would likely be checked at least 20 times throughout the night, Other Hero once again started up some conversation. "So, I heard from the coach over seeing our training area that you tried lifting some of the heavier weights today?"
Hero had been hoping they wouldn't bring that up, but it seemed pretty obvious they weren't in their best shape recently and today was definitive proof.
"Uhm, yeah, I did," they replied.
"They told me the amount but it seemed like what you usually do⊠are you doing okay? They mentioned you had some struggles, but that's not like youâŠ" they said.
"I'm fine, just haven't been feeling that good recently is all, it'll pass." Hero tried deflecting their statements.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure. Just need to be a little careful."
"OkayâŠ" Other Hero didn't seem convinced but they moved on from the topic anyway, the conversation continuing as they finished making their first go-round.
On the third time though, something was off. There were small traces of preparatory activity of a villain now in the area, a few things that if used right could access roofs were out of place, glass showed security cameras being wiped out at random in their general vicinity, and there were at least three nearby jewelers that were potential targets for a robbery of some kind, so the two split to find the culprit.
This turned out to be a bad move, as when Hero turned a corner to check down a street something hit them in the back of the head, and suddenly they were waking up inâŠ
A house?...
Yeah, they were in someone's house, waking up in presumably the guest bedroom.
It seemed like a normal place, there was nothing to suggest this might be anywhere other than a civilian residence, but they still had no memory of how they got there.
"Hey sleepy-head, are you finally awake?" a voice came from the doorway. Hero squinted as they tried to see the person's face. They could make it out pretty clearly, but something feltâŠoff.
Familiar, somehow.
"Y'know heroes are meant to be able to take care of people, not the other way around, right?" they said as they got closer.
That was when Hero realized they were probably still in uniform. "Right, uhm⊠Mx" they questioned.
"You know me as Villain, but for right now, just call me Civilian. I don't want to confuse my family," they stated, leaning in close and turning their voice down to a whisper.
So that's why they felt familiar.
"Villain? What, was standard kidnapping not enough, you wanted to get your family in on the action?" they accused.
Villain arched a brow. "Are you kidding? We both know I don't do things without reason. Why would I risk involving my family if all I wanted to do was kidnap you? I may be a criminal, but they're innocents who don't know anything about my double life. Much like they don't know about yours, so I'd suggest keeping your conversation about work low, [Hero's Civ Name]."
The use of their true identity startled them.
"How the fuck do you know my name?" they questioned.
"Don't worry about it right now. Just stop talking about work, okay? And get out of bed, breakfast is ready."
Breakfast? But wait, it was only a few hours after nightfall when they split up during patrol⊠how long were they out for?
Reluctantly, they followed Vil- er, Civilian to the dining room, noticing that someone had changed them at some point when they were knocked out.
They were now wearing some comfortable, soft, slightly loose pajamas instead of the costume. Probably Villain's doing.
They sat down at the empty chair left for them at a table already filled with others, all harmless innocents just like Villain had said.
There seemed to be a total of 2 adults, and 3 kids, one of which was still in a high-chair and probably still had troubles speaking. "Guys, this is [HCN], [HCN], meet my family."
Civilian went around introducing everyone, one by one. There was their spouse, a designer, their kid who was now in 4th grade, their sister who was visiting for the holidays, and her two kids aged 2 and 6.
They said their hellos, and Civilian went into the kitchen and returned with pancakes and hashbrowns, as well as an extra glass of juice for Hero. There was some conversation, all light and cheerful and very muchâŠnormal.
That was until their body decided to remind them they'd been struggling with the flu for the past few days, and they started coughing a lot.
Apparently this was expected however, as Villain's sister asked if they needed some water or to go lie down again. They accepted and Villain went with them to help settle.
They were left alone in their room to rest, but were unable to sleep with the constant reminder of who was laughing on the other side of the door.
Maybe two hours later, Villain came in to check on them.
"Hey, get any sleep?" Hero shook their head.
"Well, that sucks. You really need some. You weren't sleeping well before I picked you up, right?"
Of course Villain knew about that. It was probably obvious to them how little sleep they'd been getting and how they had skipped a meal or two in the days before.
"Yeah, that's rightâŠ" Hero replied. Villain looked at them for a minute, evaluating, then left only to come back with a drink.
"Hope you're a fan of tea, here, this is my family's signature recipe," they said while handing the warm beverage to Hero.
"It should help you sleep, and with your cough."
Hero just stared at the swirling liquid. Why was Villain helping them? They slowly raised it to their lips and drank.
It was sweet, tasted really good, and felt nice running down their sore throat. Without realizing, they drank the whole thing and Villain giggled. "It's good, right?" they asked.
Hero nodded. Villain wasn't kidding, they were actually starting to feel sleepy after not being able to shut their eyes for the past few hours.
Villain took the cup back and began to leave.
"Wait," Hero said weakly.
Villain turned.
"Why are you doing this?"
Villain laughed. "I think it's better to answer that after you wake back up. You look exhausted."
"Sweet dreams~," they said as they left the room, and Hero's vision faded to black.
They next thing they remembered was Civilian's sister shaking their shoulder to wake them up. "Hey, hey, [HCN], are you awake?" she asked.
"HnnggghhhâŠ" Hero groaned in response.
"C'mon, wake up. You need to eat something."
Hero opened their eyes, struggling to keep them open as they slowly regained consciousness, which became less of a problem as they smelled something good.
"What did you bring?" Hero asked, sitting up and noticing the bowl Civilian's sister had left on the bedside table after rubbing the sleep out of their eyes.
She looked at the bowl strangely. "I'm not sure. Civilian said- no, insisted that you'd like it. I think they said it was chicken noodle soup on top of mashed potatoes?" she said.
Hero giggled. People usually had a funny look on their face when finding out what Hero's favorite food was. "Thank you," they said once their small laughter died down.
She watched as they started eating, and Hero was amazed that Villain had remembered to make the soup thicker, so that it could act as a better gravy to the potatoes once it was mostly finished.
"SoâŠ" she started, and Hero paused to look up at her. "How did you and Civilian meet?"
Hero was glad they swallowed because if not they would've spat out their food at the sudden question. "Uhm, I met them while we were both working," Hero answered, not confident enough to properly lie to her.
"Oh, you're a gadget engineer too?" she asked, clearly interested.
"Uh, yeah. But I usually do the field testing, and report back with the flaws," Hero lied to keep up appearances like Villain had told them to, "that's why you'll probably see several scars on me."
Civilian's sister nodded, satisfied with the answer. "Alright, well I'll leave you alone so you can eat. You can join us when you're done if you want, the kids want to play with you," she said, and left the room.
Hero finished the rest of their soup-mashed potatoes combo and contemplated getting up and meeting with Civilian's family again. They decided it was worth a shot, plus they'd been out for a while and needed to use the bathroom so they would've had to get up anyway.
After stumbling around the house a little bit, they found the bathroom and then a few minutes later, the living room, where Civilian's spouse was currently watching over the kids.
They had their sister-in-law's 2 year old on their lap while their 9yo and her 6yo played around with a puzzle on the coffee table. Upon seeing Hero, they instantly said hello and offered a spot on the couch nearby, without getting too close since Hero was still sick.
"Hey [HCN], feeling better?" they asked.
Hero nodded in response.
"Oh, are they awake?" Civilian called from another room. After receiving approval they came into the room with something, a small pill and a drink.
"Here, it's some medicine to help with your flu," they said, offering both to Hero. They accepted and downed the pill almost instantly, but left around half of the drink they'd been given in the glass.
Civilian seemed satisfied, and after they turned to go back to whatever they were doing, Hero stopped them again. "You never answered my question, uhm, why did you bring me here to help me?"
Civilian laughed and turned back to face them. "Because you said you had the flu and when I went to go check on you I found you passed out, no way am I letting you try to take care of it yourself," they said and left.
This somewhat made sense to them, but they knew they weren't going to get a clear answer unless they spoke to Civilian alone so they didn't have to keep up this game.
But without the ability to do that yet, they decided to turn their focus back to Civilian's spouse and the kids. Speaking of the kids, Civilian's 9 year old was now asking them to play.
They obliged, and started a game of fantasy with the two hyper kids. They got to chase the two around as a dragon, learning the layout of the house in the process, and humoring the kids with one or two blasts of their power, which the two were stoked to see in person.
"Hey, [HCN]! Are you gonna be staying tomorrow for Christmas?" one of them asked out of the blue.
They blanked on the answer. They really didn't know. Was Christmas already tomorrow?
"Yes they will, remember what I said?" Civilian came to their rescue while carrying some laundry to the living room for folding.
"Right!" their kid said, seeming to remember something and giggling.
Hero was perplexed, but it seemed like that was the point.
They continued playing with the kids until dinner, and then they all played a few family games of Uno, which usually involved Hero +4-ing Civilian out of spite.
Then it was bedtime, and Hero was sent to bed with the kids because they were sick (not before getting another dose of medicine though).
They had a lot to think about. With laying down after spending a fun filled day with Civili- no. Villain and their family, it came with a realization that they'd never properly thought about before.
All the villains they fought, all the people they arrested, they were all, well, people. People with lives, people with families, people with lovers, and siblings, and kids. And this applied to every single one, not just the one they were being cared for by.
And with that, they decided that was enough thinking for one night, and almost forced themselves to sleep, partially aided by the medicine they'd taken.
The next morning came quickly after a dreamless sleep, and this time a kid was waiting for them to wake up.
"C'mon [HCN], it's Christmas! It's Christmas!" the kid cheered from their bedside.
Hero groggily sat up after a bit of stretching and groaning, which the kid found hilarious, or was maybe just laughing from excitement.
They followed the excited kid to the living room, where the stockings were filled and there were lots of presents under the tree.
"Hey you two," Civilian's sister laughed from the hallway, "breakfast first."
There was a disappointing groan from the kid, and Hero decided to lighten their mood by saying the quicker they get done with breakfast, the sooner they get to open the presents, which worked wonders in getting the kid to rush to the dining room.
Civilian's sister apologized, recognizing that the kid probably woke Hero up.
"It's fine," they reassured, "I know I was the exact same way as a kid." She smiled and they went to take their seats at the table, where today on the menu was eggs, waffles, and fruit.
Hero slightly regretted what they'd told the kid about getting breakfast over with quickly, because they downed their food so quickly they might've gotten sick as well if Civilian hadn't told them to eat slower.
After that, to the living room they went, and presents and stockings were passed out. To their surprise, one was placed in front of them.
"Alright, everything's been passed out. [HCN]?"
Hero perked up at the sound of their name.
"Would you care to start us off?"
Hero got extra confused. "Oh, I, uhm⊠me?"
"Of course, you're our guest!" Civilian said.
"OkayâŠ" they said, and started unwrapping their present. It was⊠a necklace. With their name as the pendant, and some small jewels in the letters.
Hero was stunned. "It's beautifulâŠ" was all they could say. "Thank you, uh- who got this for me?" they asked.
"Santa did!" The six year old exclaimed.
"Duh, who else would it be?" Civilian said with a wink.
Hero laughed. "Right, right, my bad."
Hero didn't know what to think of it. The present unwrapping continued, and they were trying to figure out how to tell Civilian thank you. They weren't sure if they could.
However, they were sure they'd be wearing it underneath their suit everyday from now on.
