“Babe, I’ve seen you do this more times than I care to count,” he scoffs. “Trust me. I know far too much about what I’m doing.” He pops off the cap and absolutely drenches the poor cotton in an overwhelming amount of makeup remover. He starts to bring it to your eyes, and you laugh and duck away.

“Baby, that’s too much!”

“More makeup remover, more makeup removed,” he says, and while his logic is wrong, you do giggle at the idea he’s trying to help, and while it’s amusing, you don’t want to lose this domesticity with him either.

So, you close your eyes and laugh more as he applies the wet cotton round to your eyes, pressing hard enough the juices spill over your cheeks. “Sukuna!” You titter.

“You want this done or not?” He asks, smearing the cotton around your eye and cheek to try and swipe off any makeup clinging to you. He’s rough with his wiping, pulling your eyes and making your cheeks hot from friction, and you swat at his hands to try and make some relief. “Okay, now you’re hindering.”

“It burns,” you confess, but you’re still laughing.

You practically feel the air go from goofy to panic, “what burns, what do you mean it burns, why does it burn, it doesn’t burn when you do it right?”

“Chill, you big baby,” you snort. “It’s in my eye because you used all 200% of your strength on my damn socket. Just get me a wet cloth, it’ll be fine.”

“How can I take care of a baby when I’m not even me?” I sobbed. “I feel sick and awful and…just wrong! Like I’m a terrible mother!”  

“I think sweetheart you need a little TLC, a ton of sleep and some good food.” Valentino said softly. “Let me take care of you. Please. Before we get out of the shower, what else can I do for you? Body wash? Shave?”

I laid my head against him. “If I have the time, I need to shave. Literally everything. Just give me a moment and I….”

He grabbed my chin and again our eyes met. 

“Did you forget that I shaved your legs when you couldn’t see them anymore? Did you forget that I held your hair when your morning sickness hit? Did you forget that I laid our newborn baby on your chest seconds after she came out of you, despite the fear of you bleeding out in your hospital bed?” His voice was hard, “You are mine. My wife. The only other being in this worth I love with every inch of my soul. The other women in my life? They are merchandise to me. And don’t you ever forget that. Understood?” 

I gave the smallest of nod and he released me. Carefully, he washed the remaining conditioner from my hair and sat me down on the tile bench in the middle of our walk in shower. 

“I’m sorry, Val…”

“Stop apologizing,” he replied as he ran the shaving cream over my legs. “You have nothing to be sorry for. I am the one who should be sorry for leaving you alone so damn much. And I am, sorry that it. It won’t happen again.” 

I felt the sharpness of the razor slide up my legs. I closed my eyes as I tried to shake away the fear that wrapped through me. 

“Why do I feel so bad, Val? I feel like I’m going insane.”

“When was the last time you put food in your stomach? Or had a full, uninterrupted night's sleep?” He asked as he slathered my other leg in shaving cream. “And be honest.” 

“Last night, kind of. I had a bowl of oatmeal. As for sleep..” 

I heard the metal of the razor hit the floor and his head shot up. “What?” His fingers reached up and gently squeezed my nipple. 

“Ow! Val!” I shouted. I tried to yank away as a small stream of milk shot out. ”Fuck, that hurt!” 

“I am shocked that you’re still productive,” he said sharply as he picked the razor back up. “What the hell do you think you’re doing to yourself? No food? No sleep? No wonder you feel so sick.”

“I’m trying to pretty,” I whimpered. 

“No. You’re going to end up putting yourself in the hospital,” he snapped. “Lack of sleep alone is enough to make you feel this awful. Add in the exercise which you shouldn’t be doing and the lack of food, and quite honestly I’m not entirely sure how you’re still standing, let alone carrying out a conversation.” 

“I’m sorry,” I said softly. 

“Stop apologizing,” he replied firmly as he helped me back to my feet. “It isn’t your fault.” 

Carefully, he and I stood back under the stream of water, rinsing away the rest of the soap. As soon as we were finished, he wrapped me in a towel and gently combed through my hair. I crawled into bed next to him and settled my head on his chest, straining to hear the beating of his heart. 

“You promise you still find me sexy? Even after all this?” I asked quietly. 

“I promise. Now forever and always. You’re my wife, my one and only, now and forever more.” He kissed the top of my head. “Now go to sleep. You’ll feel better when you wake up. And then we can have a real conversation- we’re a team, sweetheart. Don’t ever forget that. I love you. I promise.”

Hyunjin is a silent observer so he'd most probably know about your headache before you even have your mouth open. And one of the first things he'll do in his "how to take care of my girlfriend/wife" list is press soft kisses all over your face and whisper into your ear sweet letters of affection, especially if you've been getting headaches from working too much without a break or two.

He'd probably ask you the cause of your headache, maybe you had a fever setting in, but if you didn't have the energy to talk the very next thing he'd do is wrap you up into a blanket burrito and coddle you like a fragile child, who'd break even if you touch her. And if you tried to argue that it was just a silly headache, he'd turn on the stern mom mode.

quick lore dump: vis is forced to maegor -> rhaena crashes the wedding but vis is so broken at this point he just doesnt want anyone else to die and has resigned himself to maegor so rhaena reluctantly surrenders -> alyssa jae and aly DO go to the red keep after they find out about the wedding and jae dies fighting maegor which makes viserys fully break -> alyssa now has husband dead 2 kids dead her son is queen and she also loses her fight :( lives on dragonstone with alive vaella -> alysanne is given to the faith -> rhaena agrees to a truce and she is hand of the king now and viserys' main protector -> vis gets pregnant and the kid is basically a reincarnation of jaehaerys -> tyanna loses her shit and tries to murder/sterilise/whatever viserys so maegor kills her cos he's finally got his babymaker -> vis has a daughter who's the reincarnation of tyanna -> faith uprising, shut down -> vis has his second daughter final child daenys who's birth is heralded by the martyrdom of poxy jeyne poor in the quashed faith uprising

vis is in the torture labyrinth for a couple decades. life sucks husband sucks everyone is weird about him. very death in venice people are weird about the boy type deal. has to wade through gender and sexuality politics of westeros which means several men going utterly insane about him including a couple kingsguard knights (celibate hypermasculine freaks bound to be insane sexually). one point early-ish on he DOES start believing this one kingsguard knight will save him from The Hells The Horrors but maegor finds out and kills that guy adn sexually humiliates viserys in front of the kingsguard and makes their son watch. So that fucks up vis' psyche for a while :3

rhaena and alysanne try to convince him to rebel and run away that they will use their dragons and fight. but maegor has made vis so paranoid and crazy he thinks maegor knows everything knows all his thoughts so he's terrified of plotting escape cos he thinks maegor will kill everyone. plus maegor made sure to force kids onto him early so that vis wouldnt be able to leave :3 world's most evil babytrap of all time.

vis doesnt interact with anyone except rhaena aly maegor his kids and the kingsguard so yeah its bad for him. ceryse hangs around for a while but shes like yeah i dont want any part of this shit dude being queen is NAWT worth it and she goes back to the hightower to plot marrying her niece off to maegor's son.

also there's a curse on the kingsguard all of them die really horribly and early. its a fun little thing for me personally because in f&b maegor's kinsguard is cartoonishly bad and jae's is cartoonishly perfect so i though Hey what if we did a little curse on the kingsguard ey. that would be fun. the only guy who stays long is a bracken because brackenfail cancels out knightfail. he's all godly and pissy about the gay marriage thing but he's also a monarchist so even though he think maegor is satan he's like well. he is my king i must serve him i obey my vows. he thinks viserys is a freak of nature but slowly grows to respect him and helps kill maegor + takes the fall for it. they have a weird father figure/white knight/weird tension thing that never gets consummated yay ^_^ the maegor torture labyrinth will have you 21 years old and best friends with a 50 year old celibate knight like dang where tf ser bracken at today 🥹

viserys snaps in 66AC with no like big catalyst or anything. he just has a good day where he's mostly lucid and he's angry and he's tired of everything and he's sick of maegor and he wants freedom he wants to be free. he wants to breath the air without panicking that maegor is going to hurt him. and maegor says some disgusting comment to him while theyre alone in the throne room and vis just snaps and start fighting him. daenys shows up cos she had her own Visions and Voices and they just start whaling on him. bracken knight helps too he takes most of maegor's counter attacks his organs are all over the floor but maegor dies impaled on the throne YAY

vis is like. A bit better for a while. his son is now king and vis is seeing that oh it doesnt get better does it people will still die. also his son jae has this weird oedipus complex about him thanks to maegor's insane parenting and viserys is fully aware of that so its not fun times for him. jae and daenys try to make him better try to invent therapy but its the middle ages they dont have that yet. they finally send him off to harrenhal (BAD IDEA) because they think viserra (the elder daughter btw, the tyanna one) might be able to cure him with her weird witchcraft. they think she's insane too but its the last option... viserra thinks vis is lame and weak but she does love him in ehr own way or maybe just pities him. anyway she does her best and it works for a while but viserys sorta gives up cos the depression is too much. and viserra believes in euthanasia as a mercy and thinks this is best for him this will let him be at peace. daenys has a premonition about it and tries to stop him. she has a big blowout fight with jae about it too and curses his bloodline and prophesises the long night. burned the red keep a little bit, you know how it is.

blah blah blah anyway daenys and vis end up dying in the gods eye together in a murder/suicide suicide/suicide murder/murder whatever. viserra has the lake dragged and they're found holding each other like a mother and her fetus :3

Idt he's got crush on jk or anything and the whole time he was hanging out with jk he literally had a girlfriend by his side no matter how many ppl wants to not see it. Then there's ppl who believe tae is more obsessed with jm than jk and i mean sometimes when u see these three in a room together vmin can gang up on jk. Sometimes when jm is there tae can forget about jk too but since their rs has progressed very much since the time they had the ITS talk i think he wants to show ppl that they're back to how they used to. Especially his bestie from wooga. Idk his name now, but it's wooshik ig. So just like how they are to him, jm-jk or other members are just like that to him. So what things we see as different are very common within them.

(this is basically me giving u a very chaotic rundown and trying to implement all of my opinions on it. i started this at 5am and i'm finishing it at 11pm 😭. i basically am just writing down the pilot episode...)

OK SO BASICALLY,

it starts with the old glee director getting fired for sexual harassment because rachel berry, an absolute insufferable yet disturbingly talented teenager for only being a sophomore in hs at this point in time, reported him- NOT BECAUSE HE WAS INAPPROPRIATELY TOUCHING A STUDENT, NO!- but because sandy (old glee coach) gave someone else a solo instead of her 🤗🤗 . I HATE HER!!!! (she only gets worse from this point on too btw!!)

so, sandy gets fired and the principal of wiliam mckinley high school was like, "well since we don't have someone to take control of the glee cub and we also don't have the money for it, we'll just cut the program😁!" (although he paid for the cheer team's (the cheerios) new dietitian...)

... sigh.

This is where W*ll Sch*ester comes in...

will is a sad old middle aged man with an uptight wife (terri schuester<3) who is basically living his high school glory days through the glee club. (this man is a menace. he needs to be put down!)

will is like to figgins (the principal) , "no! you can't take away the glee club! you're taking away these kids' will to live!" (his will to live)

so figgins is like, "fine but ur paying out of pocket to support it🙄🙄."

so there's tina, a goth whose faking a stutter so she doesn't have to talk to people she doesn't like, artie, a kid whose in a wheelchair and sings like he's not a white boy from the midwest, mercedes (MY BELOVED!!!!) , whose amazing but of course they portrayed her as the token angry black girl because what ELSE could she POSSIBLY bring to the table except that, kurt (MY BELOVED PT.2!!!!) , a closeted gay whose closet is made out of glass, and then... fucking rachel.

anyway, will then gets notified by sue sylvester, cheerios coach and the MOST AMAZING CHARACTER IN THIS GODFORSAKEN SHOW, that the glee club needs 12 people in order to compete in competitions and keep the club afloat.

so, he tries to talk to the football team about signing up for glee club after rachel tells him that artie isn't good enough to keep up with her vocally. he fails, and the sign-up sheet gets vandalized with penises and a bunch of ridiculous fake names!

and then there's this whole monologue like, "i was just about to give up until i heard his voice..."

and this poor kid finn is in the bathroom, just peacefully singing to himself while this CREEPY ASS MIDDLE AGED MAN is listening to him.

... and then he plants weed in his locker and tells him to sign up for the glee club or else he'd get expelled and lose his (nonexistent) football scholarship.

anyway, a little while after that his wife terri is like, "hey! i'm pregnant! 🤗" (spoiler alert! it was a hysterical pregnancy... and after that she then tries to hide the fact that she is in fact, NOT pregnant by wearing this fake pregnant stomach thing and trying to bribe finn's girlfriend for her child since she doesn't want to keep it.) and then will is thinking, "damn, i'm really gonna hate life now... time to be an accountant so i can support my (cunty af) lying wife and our fake baby!"

so he then puts in his two weeks but not without emma (his love interest and william mckinley's guidance counselor.) going, "pls go to the careers center tomorrow so you don't make the biggest mistake of your life and inevitably kill yourself." in much kinder words than how i phrased it. she basically shows him an old video of his time in glee club and i guess that inspires him... or something idk.

so the episode ends with the glee club performing don't stop believin by journey (i've heard this song so many goddamn times in this show that i HATE it now!) and the cheerios (quinn, santana, brittany.) and sue (best character in television history) are watching them as well as puck, finn's best friend who totally thinks finn is a bitch for joining jew directions.

also, will is in one of the auditorium seats and he comes back on the stage like, "good job, guys! btw i'm back! sorry for quitting on you for like ten seconds😝."

anyway, there's so much more that i left out but i don't feel like going back and editing this. thank you for asking me about glee and letting me go insane about my worst special interest ever!!!! - asteria<3 .
