Sunghoon wasn’t having the greatest birthday of all time. After 21 years of his life he decides he likes this one the least.

It’s weird, he was supposed to be drunk and having fun at Jake’s apartment until the clock hit ungodly hours of the day, but instead it’s 9pm, and he’s more tipsy than he would like to be at a random bench in a park.

It’s not like he was kicked out or anything, but Jake’s apartment had become too stuffy for him and the smell of alcohol overwhelmed him and they had invited way too many people for his liking, so he decided it was best to go on a walk alone. He had no idea how or why he was now sitting on the bench.

Sunghoon has always been a people watcher, he enjoyed seeing others smile over news he had no idea about, or watching someone quickly walk to their destination, creating make-believe stories of where they’re going and why they’re going so fast.

There’s not many people around—scratch that, Sunghoon can’t spot anyone, but his vision is too disoriented to be trusted.

That’s when his eye catches you, strolling down the stone pathway—Wait were those angel wings?

His eyes squint towards you, unable to differentiate if you were wearing a scarf or were an actual angel from heaven, but he saw the grin on your face and figured you could easily pass for one.

You happily plop down on the other side of the bench, eyes scanning the scenery around you.

This immediately sobers him up, and he fixes his posture. Glancing over to him, you give him a smile, asking “What are you doing here so late at night?”

He’s unable to comprehend that you’re talking to him, as if the alcohol had come rushing back to his head and made him unable to think or even say anything to pretty people like you.

He finally finds his voice, replying, “It’s my birthday, and I’ve been out with my friends all day, but I needed some space for a little.”

Gasping at the mention of his birthday, you rummage through your purse, also saying “Why didn’t you say so! I don’t have a gift for you.”

He chuckled, shaking his hands, “You don’t have to give me a gift, we don’t even know each other's name yet, angel girl.” Looking up, you can feel warmth fill your cheeks at the name, quickly snapping out of it to search for something you can do.

“My name’s Y/n, what’s your name, birthday boy?”

Letting out an Ah-hah! You showcase a small lighter proudly in your hands, he mumbles your name to himself a couple of times, forcing it to go to his sober mind so he remembers everything.

You push the lighter, letting a flame fill the metal part, scooting next to him, you gesture for him to blow the fire out.

He smiles, blowing it out in one go, you clap your hands singing the words happy birthday over and over again. Maybe this birthday isn’t so bad.

“Sunghoon.”

“What?” You tilt your head slightly.

“My name, it’s Sunghoon.”

Nodding, you place the match carefully into your bag, “Well, Sunghoon, how does it feel to be—wait how old are you?”

You silently pray that you aren’t talking to anyone over the age of 24, crossing your fingers in your pocket and anxiously wait for his reply.

“I’m 21 today, got my first sip of alcohol!” He jokes.

Mentally letting out a sigh of relief, you make sure he isn’t left curious, “I’m 20! But anyways—how does it feel to be officially 21?”

He takes a breath, unsure where to start.

The truth is he’s terrified of growing old, having more responsibilities than he could ever imagine. Every year he’s inching closer to a time where he’s supposed to be successful, but all he feels is that he’s failed to do anything.

“Can I say something kind of personal?” Sunghoon decides it’s much better to be safe than sorry.

You nod, a soft smile grows on your face, “Tell me anything! I’m here to listen.”

“I feel kind of scared? I don’t think I’m ready for those kinds of responsibilities.”

Feeling bold, you gently take one of his hands, cupping it with your hands. His cold hands contrasts your warms ones, but you don’t mind.

“I think you’re underestimating yourself, Sunghoon. As you grow older—yes you’ll have more responsibilities but it’ll join your routine, then when you find that you have lots of responsibilities you’ll be so used to it that you won’t even notice a thing!”

He nods, taking in your advice word by word, “I guess I never really thought of it that way, thank you, I’ll keep that in mind.”

You hum in reply, and a wave of silence washes over you two.

Turning your face up, you relish at the sight of the sky. Though the city won’t ever let the stars shine, you can still admire the moon, glimmering in the dark sky.

It's almost a full moon, and you swear you’ve never seen a sight prettier.

“The moon is beautiful tonight, isn’t it?” You ask.

Sunghoon’s eyes widen slightly, but you don’t look over at him. He’s not sure that you understand the true meaning of it, considering you just met. So he brushed it off, agreeing with your question.

Though it’s hard to focus on the moon when there's a person right next to him, emulating a warm aura that he can’t help but mistake for something mystical.

You two sit in silence, both admiring the surreal sight ahead of you.

You finally look back at him, warmth filling your cheeks when you catch that he wasn’t even facing the moon the whole time. Looking away, he raises a hand to cover his face, you giggle, looking away just as flustered as him.

A sound of your cell phone rings through your ears, you begrudgingly pick it up, muttering an apology to him before answering the call. He doesn’t eavesdrop but he can tell it’s something important.

He’s proven right when you put the phone down, a frown on your face when you explain, “I gotta go—I’m so sorry! My sister needs urgent help with something, but have an amazing birthday Sunghoon.” You wave goodbye standing up and taking a few steps away.

He grabs your arm before you can go, turning you around so you’ll face him.

“Will I ever see you again?”

You chuckle, opening your bag to pull out a pen and an old napkin. Writing your number, you hand the napkin to him, leaving with the same grin that you had when he first spotted you.

He watches as you walk away, calling back your—what he assumes—sister to address the situation. He slouches back down when you’re out of view, checking the time he’s realized he’s been out for too long, so he races back to Jake’s house.

Walking back in he spots Jake, the boy hastily walks over to him, asking “Bro—where were you? We were looking for you.”

Sunghoon lets out five words, “I just met an angel.”

ok parenting hcs - so i actually have a parenting story in the draft (hi anon who asked for that!) and i was planning to do some parenting hcs depending on how i felt, so i’ll keep this brief!

i feel like reader and curly would probably have two - they’d plan the first and their second born would be a surprise. first baby would be girl and curly turns into an absolute big softy for her. he would be a little firm though and make sure that baby is disciplined and knows how to follow rules.

he’s the type of dad that’ll bring home little trinkets from his trips and maybe take baby out of ice cream after school even if he isn’t supposed to. he’d participate in her little tea parties and her little doll storylines. and he builds everything omg - barbie dollhouse, swing set, everything.

when baby’s a little older, he definitely pushes her towards sports and even she ultimately decides that she wants to do something different, he’ll still show up for her.

Idk this was a cute thing I thought of while listening to Enchanted while getting ready for bed.

My writing is so rusty but I hope y’all enjoy it. Maybe this’ll inspire me to write more, we shall see.

“Spencer. You need to listen to the whole discography to appreciate her in all her glory.” Y/N said, looking to her boyfriend as he was raising an eyebrow and looking over all the Taylor Swift songs in a playlist that his loving girlfriend put together. “Do I? I don’t want to make it seem like I don’t respect her talent because I do, it just doesn’t seem like my thing. Scratch that, it isn’t my thing.” The male crinkled his nose, a smile on his face. It wasn’t like he wouldn’t listen, mainly because he was always happy to do whatever made Y/N happy.

“Try before you deny, Reid.” Y/N huffed while letting her arms cross over her chest, a smile still gracing her features, knowing it wouldn’t take much convincing at all. “I really think you’ll like her music. It’s comforting in a way, plus she is truly one of the most sweetest people ever. She’s got a beautiful voice too.”

The thing was, Y/N was right. Spencer did like her music because of the comfort associated with it. However, the comfort wasn’t because of the melodies, the beautifully crafted bridges, or even the impeccable vocals. It was because this music reminded him of his girlfriend. The way that she’d be screaming ‘Enchanted’ while taking a shower or how she’d make him dance with her to ‘Lover’ in their shared kitchen.

That comfort was something Spencer took with him everywhere, even to the point where he’d have one earbud in while listening to one of the random albums he’d decided on. Which of course, Y/N made sure to make him have all of the ‘Taylor’s Version’ of the albums that were out already, the woman playfully threatening to beat him with her shoe if she seen anything different.

It was currently a Friday at the office, a quiet day where they were mostly getting caught up with desk work and written evaluations. Spencer had his earbud in, the album of choice today being ‘Speak Now’, mainly in anticipation for the long awaited ‘Taylor’s Version’ that Y/N was over the moon about, it being her favorite album out of all the others. He wasn’t even paying attention, being so used to being at home and having some awful duets with Taylor, unable to stop his mouth from singing along to ‘Mine’. The song had caught a few glances, however Penelope was the one who actually coined on what he was singing.

The rest of the day, there was a little bit of light gossip between the rest of the team, mostly because none of that were really expecting Spencer to be singing any of the songs that blondie had. Which there was already a theory; Spencer had a girlfriend who they hadn’t met yet. Penelope was fully convinced of it. Someone was introducing this music to Spencer because he wouldn’t just willingly listen to something he wouldn’t normally indulge in.

Little did they know, that theory would be proved right a couple weeks later.

The highly anticipated Eras tour was something that everyone had to fight in the trenches for, Y/N being one of the people who spent her whole day in a waiting room, getting the best tickets she could get her hands on. There was a reason why she needed Spencer to listen to this music in the first place, the two going together after Y/N surprised him with the tickets, her excitement being too high for Spencer to even think of denying going.

He’d ended up telling Emily that he was going to see his mom, giving him that night without interruption or fear of having to make his girlfriend leave early because he had a case. Now, these rumours reached the unit chief, the woman not saying anything about her suspicions as she allowed Spencer the time off. Although she had a good idea that he’d be spending that time with his little secret girlfriend that he thought he could hide.

What Spencer didn’t anticipate though, was who had the seats right beside himself and Y/N. They’d made it fairly early, mainly because Y/N had floor seats so the two had to get there without the crowding when it came to getting to their seats. Which they’d made it to their spots without a hitch, something she needed to brag about because Spencer had said some sort of statistic of how there was a chance they wouldn’t have had to fight through crowds to sit down anyway.

“Was I right or was I right?” Y/N asked, a cocky smile on her face while she was sitting down with her boyfriend, her hand reaching over to hold his as she was bouncing with excitement. “I’m so glad you came with me tonight. I mean it. I was so worried I’d have to come alone or sell the other ticket. You’re the best.” She sighed in content while leaning over to kiss her boyfriend’s cheek.

Spencer was opening his mouth to speak before he was frozen in place after hearing two very familiar voices. “Oh come on, Garcia. I agreed to come with you tonight and you’re gonna bully me the whole night?” Luke asked, a laugh leaving his lips as he was trailing after Penelope, the blonde scoffing. “Of course I am. You know that I have been looking forward to this for weeks and with JJ being busy and Spencer being god knows where, you were my very last choice.” She spoke while trying to humble the male, although Luke was rolling his eyes with a smile gracing his features soon after.

Don’t look over. Don’t look over. Don’t—

“I love your dress!” Y/N gushed, leaning over to look over at Penelope, unknowingly calling attention to Spencer even though he was mentally begging for Penelope to not pay much attention to him. It wasn’t that he wanted to hide his girlfriend, far from it.. He just knew how the team was when it came to significant others and their coworker’s relationships. They were too nosy, as good as they meant by it.

“Thank you! Oh my god, your bottoms!” Penelope grinned while looking over at Y/N, although through her peripherals, she seen a very familiar face. Instead of calling attention to him just yet, she was instead keeping light conversation with the woman who was on the other side of her coworker.

It was later in the concert though, Y/N being fully captivated by the show in front of her as she was happily screaming along with lyrics and dancing, one hand in Spencer’s while she was keeping her gaze on the stage. That was when Penelope decided to say something, her elbow nudging Spencer’s side to get his attention before she was smiling from ear to ear up at him. “I knew it. You didn’t just randomly start listening to her!” She yelled over the music, making Spencer blush while laughing. “You picked a good one!” Penelope called soon after, to which Spencer was looking over at his girlfriend who was having the time of her life.

Yeah, yeah he did.

“Right. Let’s see. I’ve got... Amortentia, that’s a love potion, definitely not. Essence of Dittany, hm... Ah, here we go. A calming draught.”

You narrow your eyes at a peculiar potion he just mentioned. Yet the situation at hand is more important than the question as to why he has the most powerful love potion in existence. You digress.

Of course, it’s not hard to catch onto how Daniel is a potions prodigy. It’s particularly impossible to miss it. Given how much time he spends in the Potions Classroom brewing maybe nearly every potion in existence. Sometimes, you tend to question how he doesn’t get exhausted from the hours he spends in front of the cauldron. But you suppose it’s just a passion of his that differs from everyone else’s.

Like how Lottie, herself, can spend hours painting anything that comes to mind. A wave of creativity just happening to hit her at some random time, like how the light shines oh-so perfectly down into the classroom windows, or when she realizes how fascinating the flames look when she casts the confringo spell.

But there are times she exhausts herself too, like times she’s mentally drained from an art block she’s been desperately trying to escape.

You’re not sure if you’ve ever seen Daniel tired of creating potions. It’s quite impressive—no, farther than that, that you sometimes find yourself admiring how well he can work his way around the cauldron with little to no errors.

And because of how well he ferments potions and how much time he spends on doing so, it’s no surprise to find that he has quite the collection of distinctive potions. However, he always either gives them away, displays them on the Potions Classroom shelf, or keeps them somewhere in his dorm.

So why did he so casually carry Amortentia, of all potions, in his pocket?

Of course it isn’t as bad as the Death potion, but your point still stands!

After that day you couldn’t help but let your mind wander on the possibilities on why in the world he would have such a powerful potion easily-accessed. After all, he doesn’t seem like the type to use it on someone. Actually, does he even have a ‘someone’ to use it on, nevertheless?

Maybe it’s not your place to ask. But as time goes by, you can’t look at Daniel without being reminded that he literally has the most formidable love potion known to man in his pocket.

“...W-What are you looking at?” He asks you, aware of your unwavering, however thoughtful gaze.

“Daniel,” you lean towards him, taking note of the crimson hue spreading his cheeks, “Is there any reason for you to be carrying the Amortentia potion right now...?”

Daniel visibly panics. He stammers out an incoherent response that’s cut off by Professor Flitwick.

“Please pay close attention to the instructions. Today we will be learning a disarming charm known as Expelliarmus.”

The two of you gently shuffle back to place, turning your attention to the man standing atop a very thick book. You suppose he can answer you later.

Daniel scampers to collect his belongings the very second Professor Flitwick dismisses class, unbeknownst to you. He scoots towards the very edge of the table and races out the door, stumbling into the hallway for an escape as if he had just seen a dementor.

Very quickly, he scans his surroundings, paying no mind to his classmates who barely glance at him as they walk by. He decides to draw himself a little farther from the doorway and towards the stairways of the Defense Against Dark Arts classroom, where he presses his side against the wall.

Unluckily for him, you just so happened to be reaching to grab his hand right now, making him feverishly twirl around to face you.

“Daniel, I’ll keep it a secret, I promise !” you whisper-shout, bouncing a little in place.

“It’s nothing—” He backs away from you in an attempt to escape your clutches, but you only step forward.

“Then why run? Why are you sweating so much?” You furrow your eyebrows, clearly concerned for your friend who is, yes, sweating bullets now.

“It’s just—”

“Pleeease tell me, Daniel.”

“I—”

“Pleeease.” Now both of your hands are grabbing his. You muster up the best pair of puppy eyes you can do at the moment, and lean yourself towards him trying to get him to just tell you.

Daniel’s face, which is inches away from yours at this point, is basically red.

“It’s— I— For—..” Why is your face still leaning in?! Why are you so close?! Haven’t you heard of personal space? (He kind of doesn’t want you to back away.) He shuts his eyes.

Before he could process it, his mouth moves on his own, blurting out the reason of which was not on your list of possibilities at all.

It was like a survival instinct.

“It smells nice...! It smells like you—your-robe-that-you-lent-to-me-last-week.”

Daniel wishes the floor would swallow him up.

He barely opens his eyes when you slowly let go of his hands and back away, and he only snaps them open when he hears a familiar hysteric laughter from above and behind him.

He slowly turns around, as if he hadn't already known who it is.

“You cannot be serious!” Robyn wipes a comical tear from her eye as she dramatically leans over a stone wall, “Ahhh, you’re daft, Page!”

Daniel doesn’t bother to say anything as he somberly stares at her above the staircase. His arms falling limp and his entire body stiff.

“I can’t believe I witnessed this at such a perfect timing...!” She drunkenly makes her way down, clapping her hands slowly in such passionate amusement despite the silence between you and him. “I can’t—” She pitilessly snickers at Daniel.

She gracefully turns to the opposite side of where you two came from and slowly disappears into the halls, her voice fading out in the distance—“I can’t wait to tell everyone else about this!”

Daniel stares as her figure slowly shrinks in his vision, as if he were trying to make her explode with his mind despite the distracting and repetitive sounds of her claps and cackling.

However, he’s taken aback when he feels a familiar piece of clothing gently wrap around his shoulder. He looks over, noticing that you’re no longer wearing your robe.

“I’ll gladly keep lending you my robe if you want me to...”

You hadn’t yet found someone with a higher friendship level than 2 or 3 (hey, don’t blame yourself, you really have to put effort into friendship levels to get them anywhere and you were still busy screwing around in Sumeru when you got spirited away).

So needless to say, most people were getting “the, me, I, you, etc.” rather than the actual important keywords you needed them to, hence the godly charade game now.

As you “hold” something, you throw your hands up in the air, still keeping your hands wrapped around nothing. You think if somebody told you last week that you’d be playing charades with the archons in Genshin Impact so you could actually communicate with them… well you don’t know what you would have done. Maybe just gave them a really awkward laugh.

You give your own sad sigh… it’s already been 3 hours. 😭

How hard is charades for 4 archons??

Well… apparently very hard.

You put your face in your hands, and you hear the (retired) archons start to debate something, you can tell it’s getting a little passive-aggressive between Venti and Zhongli by their tone alone. 

…Okay, now it’s just aggressive.

The archons eventually give their attention back to you so you can go back to your charades lol

You tried opening your mouth and closing it, very obvious, they can’t go wrong. 

…Turns out they can. 

Somehow you find yourself with a hot tea brewed by the geo archon. 

(Venti attempted to offer you Dandelion Wine, or Osmanthus Wine even, and only god, well you now, knows where he pulled them from. Ei swatted his head, he looked so offended, and his cheeks were all puffed up, heh.)

Giving up, you just try to motion for them to stay still, your hands gesturing like trying to calm a wild animal.

They give you questioning looks, and you begin to walk off, they all seem to immediately start discussing something with each other. All of the gods look very conflicted, and after a minute of you getting further away (yes, you’re almost home free, Xiangling here you come! ) Nahida skips to catch up with you.

She gives you a beaming smile, and you can’t bring yourself to not return it. She's so much cuter in real life, even the official art didn't do her justice.

You make your way towards the restaurant, finally.

And apparently you’re happier than you thought to smell the savory scents flowing out of the kitchen because your stomach growls loudly.

You’re too hungry to even attempt to stop it, no one will care, except Nahida’s eyes go wide. She begins to sputter, and flail her hands desperately trying to charade an apology at you.

…you were just trying to tell them you were hungry. 💀

-The timing of that opening felt off though, the pacing/timing of the whole episode felt a little off.

-Dennis vaguely mentioning the noises in there, no I am not gonna blow this out of proportion and daydream overstimulation scenarios, I'm not, I'm not (that's a lie).

-Kinda dog-coded Frank again with the water, can't wait to read the essays on that.

-I find it really interesting they decided to team up Dee and Frank once again this season, though I'm too tired to formulate thoughts on why, I just... it's interesting. There's something there... something.

-You can do whatever you want, the parents not around, I wonder if Mac's parents would just like dump him there so they wouldn't have to deal with him for the day and he'd end up in that timeout room a lot because he was angry, he needed a way to let out his anger... the fake gun he wanted to get with the tickets, oh guns again this season, I've got thoughts now for another post, don't mind me, very unrelated.

-I find it interesting the different levels of awareness, how they're all still stuck in the past because it's what they always knew, but on some level can understand why things had to change, especially when confronted with something they recognize as bad that say Frank still doesn't, yet they still cling to it because that's how it's been done, tradition, legacy, they don't actually want what what was there, the punishment? the guilt? even the rat boobs, but they want to cling on to it because they fear change, because if it changed, that means it was wrong, like how it changed from Frank's day, and then they have to face that their childhood memories of this one safe haven were not all roses, so they try to force the past back into the present to prove it was better then... and things go horribly wrong, because some things are better left in the past... seen through rose coloured glasses, but what happens when they do come to the surface, when they see it in new context, just like the whole show lately slowly becoming more tragic in hindsight with each passing detail. This episode reminds me of Big Mo in a way.

-Partly on that above note, for real, Charlie and Dennis sound so unenthusiastic/uninterested in those rat boobs, like an ace and a gay man looking at them just because they think they should, they think that's how it's supposed to be.

-Mac in the feelings room saying he's angry, and he feels misunderstood, unheard, just in this instance or in general, throughout? (Unheard, as he's not supposed to speak.) Misunderstood as our perception of him and his actions this season may not be as it seems. I also find it interesting he's separated from the gang again... And he still feels the need to be punished and feel shameful... maybe he thinks he doesn't deserve that relationship with Donald or Dennis, or... idk, just... much to think about. That theme of denial... needing to deny and look back to cope. To believe his parents still loved him, feeling guilty and being punished is what kids are supposed to go through and he’s not allergic to nuts and Dennis isn’t Johnny. (Also, off topic, Mac with his lil juice box, adorable.)

This is such an embarrassing thing to admit but I have to get it out! Ya girl is suffering alone!! So today I was waiting for my friend's class to be over in college and a random guy came up towards me and just like OUT OF BLUE said he thought I was cute and wanted to take me out sometimes, he said he wanted to take me outany times and even asked for my number but i was so shell shocked!! While talking to him all I could think was about my crush, my crush and I we have this weird thing where we both never talk but we both look at each other intensely like just stare for months and months we have been doing that, we just stare... His friends know we like each other, his female friends hate me with burning passion and talk shit about me but that's besides the point.

I wanted to talk to my crush so badly but he is never alone so today when this new guy came and confessed and while getting his number all i could think about was my crush, I don't even remember this new guy's face to be honest, then I saw my friend and I was running towards her and practically semi screamed at him with excitement saying "A GUY ASKED ME OUT!!" And I have her details all excited and my crush was also around and idk why I said it so loudly but umm... Now after 5hrs of the said event I think I can conclude that it was my desperation attempt to make my crush jealous... This crush has affect me so much! Before this I was happy dying single and never ever thought about even cooking for a man, I used to hate men because every man was a disappointment but this guy comes in one day and to me he is the most kindest and prettiest man alive, if he tells me to bark I'll do it no questions asked! Fr I will bark for him 😭

But besides that I shouldn't have said that loudly to make him jealous because today he ignored my eye contact... For months and months EVERY SINGLE DAY we'd stare at each other but today he just walked away and I feel guilt for using this new guy as a "bait" I don't even remember his face but he seemed so innocent like I was his first love or something, I felt horrible for using him as a bit to make him jealous and I feel so pathetic because it's been 6 months and I still can't even muster up to talk to my crush... Honestly, it’s so normal to have this urge to want to make your crush jealous. Especially if you’ve not had much contact with him other that looking at one another, it’s probably your subconscious wanting him to say something, anything to you lol.

This isn’t exactly a death sentence for your relationship with your crush however. Perhaps you should try talking to him, being friendly. If you have any classes together, maybe you could politely ask for some notes. Or maybe if you’ve recently completed any exams, you could ask him how he’s feeling about the results?

You didn’t exactly profess your love for this new guy in front of your crush, so he probably is feeling jealous!

As hard as it is, just try talking to him. There’s never any harm in trying :)

I waited to send this until the day finished because I wanted to wait and see if we ever got anything more.

Are the things that tomdays are posting seem weird to anyone else? Or just me? I noticed it today. First off, they shared a tweet that claimed Tom and Z were at this place this guy had a birthday tea. Now no one should just blindly believe any tweet, especially tomdayas. They have def gotten burned in the past. But this was really odd or sus to me because we have had days of Zendaya being seen shopping with Darnell, her grandma, noon, and her grandma’s boyfriend. But suddenly, there isn’t a pic? I feel like that’s odd. And make me not fully believe it.

And then there is this video they shared earlier. They claimed that it was Tom and Daphne. But it was weird. First off, it’s a slowed down video and it’s very cropped. The only thing you see is a blonde woman and then a man walking away. You only see their backs. You can’t say that is Tom and Daphne, it could literally be anyone. Plus again you have days of Z being photographed. Now you don’t see Z? You can’t even see her grandmother? Tomdayas also didn’t post the original video or even say where they got this video. What if this is just a random video of someone and tomdayas are saying it’s Tom and Daphne? The other thing that points out how weird that video was, was a shipper literally asked tomdayaland what they were looking at. They couldn’t figure out who Tom was or what was happening. Tomdayaland had to point it out and when she zoomed in, even more so you can’t see who it is. And tomdayaland said, “this is the best we got.” Really? Again, we KNOW that when they are meant to be seen they are. If this was truly Tom and Daphne we wouldn’t we have a clear shot? That shows it’s them?

I just feel like tomdayas know that it’s weird that Daphne has been in London and not seen with Tom. When Daphne was first seen at Wimbledon tomdayas were so excited. They were saying that Daphne has never been to London before and this means that it’s for something big. To go from that to it’s 6 days later and Tom isn’t even seen with her? Daphne isn’t seen at his play? Yeah, that doesn’t look good. Idk. Maybe it’s just me. But it’s just interesting and also odd to me that tomdayas are sharing things that claim to be Z or Tom or other family members, but also it’s not things that can be 100% proven.

Episode 4 random thoughts and feelings I had while rewatching again: cause I’m bored and have nothing else to do or watch. And I love this show

Also a week has passed by since episode 3

“Probably wouldn’t use that term today if I was you [in reference to graveyard shift]” Mick is unintentionally sassy sometimes like I know he’s being genuine with that, but it comes off as a little bit sassy

Beth to Mick: “You’re a delicate flower Mick St. John” me whispers “yes he is”

I know it’s acting but I love how Beth and Mick look at each other

“Seems like he can get the jump on just about anyone” 🫤 okay like what’s that supposed to mean?

That dirty DA must have been so relieved that there was a phone call from that cop, Colden’s phone to Amir’s phone that must have been the biggest break he was hoping and praying for

Mick’s always so soft and gentle with people, with Ilene when she comes to him for help, when he’s rescuing Julia from Lee Jay, with Leni when he’s trying to convince her to come back to L.A with him, how he treats Audrey, his brief time with Tierney to name a few and it’s so annoying he calls himself a monster like a person who is truly awful doesn’t constantly worry that they’re a bad person nor are they gentle with others.

I know Beth was blaming herself and Josh for those brief moments that she thought Mick was dead. Like I think Josh took it as a you think I’m capable of doing something illegal like that but I think Beth’s anger towards him was more like you forced me to bring him on this case so we’re/you’re de facto responsible for his death

I like that they sprinkle in little tidbits of Mick’s human life like mentioning he survived the “Battle of the Bulge” (which took place between 16 December 1944 – 28 January 1945) in this episode then bring up other parts of WWII he was a part of like he was a medic when he’s helping Josh, or that he was on the queen Mary during her time as a war ship in the episode Click, and everything that took place in episode 15

I know this is a serious moment and Mick’s on deaths door but what random ass “motel hell” in the middle of nowhere has a mini bar? I feel like that’s the last thing they’d have but I don’t travel much or very rarely out of my state so what do I know?

Beth once again dropping everything to help save Mick

I feel like some of Mick’s shame and guilt are sometimes deeply ingrained religious trauma in a way. Like he’s always apologizing and feeling guilty for something. but whether or not he considers religion bad or not, is something different. He at least seems to have positive feelings about going to church every Sunday with his parents.

Idk though he just has like that stereotypical Catholic guilt thing to him. I say Catholic guilt because he’s been to confession before as we see in episode 12:04 AM and confession (I think) is primarily a catholic thing

I love Alex’s acting when he thinks he hurt Leni, the poor man is shaking and looks like a mess and you can see the shame in his body language and eyes.

I love how much Beth trusts Mick to offer up her blood to save him. Like he think he’s a monster and he’s going to hurt her some day but she knows he’s not and he’s just screaming at her to get out because he’s so ashamed of what he is and he can’t even look at her at some points

And Beth’s like I’m trying to save you damn it! You’re not a monster

“Not your blood! not like this!” I still can’t get over this line, it’s very brief and isn’t really touched upon in later episodes well at least in so many words but it’s very telling about Mick’s character. Josef later teases Mick that he’s a romantic in the abstract but when it comes to the reality of fang on flesh he’s a bit more… Mick cuts him off but I think Josef may have said something like aloof (maybe? Idk if that makes sense) I think Mick either wants to be completely separated from the person who’s blood he’s drinking or it has to be something very special.

He’s had a few freshies but we only see one, a redhead in the second episode and I would say the encounter is very formal despite the intimate nature of feeding someone your blood. Then in Episode 16, after he’s drinking Simone’s blood he says it’s not a big deal and they weren’t making out. Which is a very interesting comparison because making out is itself an intimate act.

So Mick probably had some romantic fantasy built up in his mind of how something like that would have happened with Beth.

they got dressed into a random shirt pants combo, before throwing on jackets and hoodies. anzu wore rezes hoodie unknowing of their name on the back of it, and while leaving the house reze pointed it out. “are you wearing my hoodie?” they asked, and anzu shrugged. “probably. but it doesn’t matter does it?” she said and reze kissed her cheek before they walked to a store nearby. ritsu waved at them as he was leaving, before pointing out anzus hoodie. “you guys are so cute. i wish i brought maos hoodie..” he said before joining mao on the bench, opening the bag he had and handing him a drink.

you two entered the store and got what you wanted, before walking out and back home. “it seems like everyone noticed it today.” anzu said while plopping on the couch, almost spilling her coffee in the process. “it’s okay though, it’s cute!” reze said and pat her head.

It's been a little while, so first of all-Happy belated birthday! I saw the messages on the day and wanted to write a little something, but then I got so busy 🙈 so I wish you all the best, for all of your wishes to be fulfilled and a great year overall!

I feel like my life has been so busy lately, I barely had time to catch my breath. But for now, I am incredibly happy to be here and getting to know me again in a completely different environment. My host family is so lovely and last weekend I met some nice au pairs that live really close to me, so now I am not even alone anymore haha!

Being here also means that I am kinda always out and about, so I only watched fp3 yesterday and the start of the f2 race today. It's a shame it got cancelled so soon :( but safety first of course!

I won't be able to watch the F1 race tomorrow, but I am still hoping for some Lando magic. I really want him to win the race, but I also want to be there and watch it live? But it will be Max's win anyways lol!

In the last ask you said you were planning dropping out of uni- I am sorry to hear that, even though its probably for the best if you don't like the subjects. I don't know how people react in your country with news like that, but just remember that it's most important to be happy with what you do! (Who knows? Maybe you want to do a year abroad somewhere as well?)

hmm well in my country i guess it’s kinda like… not super weird to not go to uni? or at least it’s common to take a few years off to work and stuff after high school. the good thing about sweden is that school doesn’t cost anything so i have no debts and won’t lose any money for dropping out, which i guess is a big problem for people dropping out in other countries. we even get paid to go to school here, and tbh i was gonna use that money to pay for rent but that’s not happening now…. so well 🫠 but yes thank you, i will try to remember that!! <3

Maybe in GRRM’s original outline it was different, but ngl, his original outline was TERRIBLE. No way I would’ve read that if that had been the story. I am so, so, so, tired of people mischaracterizing Arya… she’s a traumatized and depressed child who lost her parents.

Unlike Sansa, (I’m sorry Sansa stans, but I gotta compare the two), arya is not some cheesy hopeless romantic. As for her sexuality, well idk, she’s a freaking 12 year old, but you know what I’m certain of? She’s a young girl growing into a woman that lives in a society that’s constantly pressuring her to marry. She’s constantly threatened and harassed by men, but unlike some of the other female characters (cersei, Asha Greyjoy, etc) Arya isn’t the kind of person who’d use her body like that. She’s not gonna suddenly grow up and want to use what’s between her legs to control men, and she’s certainly not going to thirst for dick or she might die a virgin (GoT season 8, ep 2), and she’s literally traumatized out of her fucking mind while also being constantly dismissed as a woman. She ain’t gonna fuck some random dude and be like “Jk I don’t actually love you” or suddenly feel hot for her brother or whoever as soon as she returns to Westeros. Just because she befriended a group of prostitutes absolutely does NOT mean that she supports such an evil industry that uses women regardless, nor does she support certain attitudes regarding to sex that are NOT healthy. There is ample proof, that just because she’s friends to anyone who treats her with kindness, it does not mean she supports their life style. She got really angry when Ned Dayne alluded that her father might’ve slept with Ashara Dayne. Arya took great personal offense to that. She’s not just a Stark, nor just a Tully, she EMBODIES their beliefs. That includes honor. There is no honor in cheating, there is no honor in promiscuity, there is no honor in turning to purely sexual behavior without there being love. GRRM based Arya off of first and second wave feminists specifically. I genuinely believe that by today’s standards, Arya would be considered a “radical” feminist, simply because she is in strong opposition of “sexual positivity”. I think as a child, with deep trauma she’s most likely sex negative, which is why some fans of the series type her as asexual, but she’s a young and traumatized child. An issue that doesn’t seem to ever be addressed in the fandom is that literally most the female “sexuality” that’s displayed in the books, is actually exploitive in one way or another. GRRM was trying to point out how bad it was for women in the olden days, although the show misconstrued that and turned it into some kind of fetish… back to the books, what cersei does, she learned. She learned that by being a woman and a woman with a ton of influence, she can use her body as a way to control men… she herself was repeatedly raped by her own husband, but she realized that she can use her body to use men in any way she wants. She learned that men are weak and will do anything for a “crumb of pussy” basically. Asha, has been “promiscuous” and slept around with many men since she was 16 (or something like that according to AFFC), and she has no regard for other women and has that sick ironborn mentality that men should be allowed to rape women as they see fit. Arianne Martell literally wooed and used her sexuality to get Arys Oakheart to do her bidding and what it do in the end? It costed him his life. She cries and convinces herself that he actually loved her and that it wasn’t because of her sexual manipulation. The prostitutes that Arya befriends in Braavos… do you ever wonder why or how they do what they do? Most likely they’ve been trafficked or perhaps they figured out that they can get money and live a better life rather in slumming it out, because men will literally pay to use them… do you think Arya is genuinely supportive of pro sexual “feminism” and believes that women are somehow empowered by being sexualized by men? Absolutely NOT. So idk, maybe stop portraying Arya as some kind of bimbo. Maybe stop sexualizing her relationship with her freaking brother… IDC if he’s her biological cousin, there is nothing sexual about the relationship. And Arya ain’t going to rush back to Westeros just to dick ride some guy. That just isn’t Arya (neither is the complete asexual).

Ran out of writing space for that first block, but anyways, the only sensical and in character way that I could see Arya being in a relationship with someone else, that involves sexual intimacy, is if she is an adult (NOT A TEENAGER) who’s finally started to realize her feelings for someone (hopefully Gendry), and the relationship can finally start to grow, slowly. I think the other person would have to show his love for Arya too in a way where she feels honored and respected by this person. This person would have to tell Arya first that loves her. Arya is way too shut in when it comes to feelings revolving those things to even admit she likes someone in a romantic way. The other person should probably profess his love to her without being overly smothering about it, and without pressuring her. None of this out of the blue “oh yeah let’s fuck right now, especially from returning from Braavos” bullshit. 🙄 give Arya the time and the worthy love she deserves!

On another note; I forgot to mention that one of the other reason Cersei uses her sexuality against other men is to feel power and control, due to being raped, she wants that power back. Sometimes rape victims do choose promiscuity to reclaim their sexuality, some don’t. I doubt Arya would be in support of something like that either. It’s clearly unhealthy. No person whether healthy or wanting to be healthy, would support such a mindset.

Another argument to make;

Arya still fights to live. Arya doesn’t give up, and Arya surrenders to nobody. Even if she has to pretend to be obedient as Roose Bolton’s cupbearer, Arya, would never surrender to any circumstance. Arya fights what she believes in. She fights for herself, and her honor, she fights for her family and the common people, and last but NOT LEAST, WOMEN!! Arya does not hate women or womanhood in any shape or form! The show completely made that up. The media (television, Hollywood) has a hobby of showing “empowered females” by making them act like men and hate women… it’s everywhere. GoT did that with Arya, while of course making her all of a sudden a dominatrix who likes to use men for her own sexual pleasure too, completely opposite to book Arya and a mockery of Arya, women and female sexuality altogether in my opinion.

So enough with your stupid theories that arya will die, or lose herself and become some kind of emotionless assassin, or that she’ll return to Westeros and be the biggest slut in town (seriously wtf lmao), and enough with drawing Arya to make her look more like Catelyn and Sansa. She shares absolutely NO physical features to them.

Also, I’ve noticed that a lot of you really do not respect GRRM’s work at all, so you try to change the characters and insert your funny politics into it… like some of y’all are seriously mad because Westeros is based off medieval European society??? GRRM is of European origin… like he’s gonna have better knowledge and a better understanding of that than any other group. Like for real, some of y’all are trying to turn this into LoTR: ROP (it’s not good let me tell you) instead of just making a mockery out of a series you clearly have no respect for, why not just create your own fantasy series where you can insert whatever kind of people and politics that you want. Idk. Why not, just represent yourself and your people instead of demanding it from others? Some of y’all are great writers and have potential, so maybe stop leaning on people who don’t even have the same life experience as you to speak for you. They’re not obligated too. They don’t owe you anything. GRRM doesn’t owe you or me anything. So just appreciate his crazy but amazing series or leave I guess. Antis are gonna anti, but there’s no point in even calling yourself a “fan” or saying that you’re interested in a series that you clearly don’t respect.

upcoming movies

today wasn’t one of the best days at school, so I wanna talk about something that I like, to brighten the mood

movies woohooo!!!

First of all the fnaf 2 movie probably is the one I’m the most excited about

I’m a huge fan of fnaf. Fnaf was my childhood and is currently my teenhood. I LOVE FNAF

I went to see the first movie with my friends the first day it premiered so the whole room was filled with other fnaf fans and my god were they excited as well

I heard some of them whisper about their own theories and stuff, easter eggs theyve noticed, they were all so invested and at one point the whole theatre started cheering and laughing it was amazing

sure maybe it got annoying at one point cus you couldnt really hear some of the things said in the movie but still. Such a magical moment. This might sound cringe but I’m not joking when I say that that was one of the best days in my life

So yeah I’m more than excited to see the 2nd movie

Apparently fnaf 2 will be scarier and other stuff will be fixed as well. I’m so excited about the story and the lore man. Can’t wait to watch

I have to quickly say one thing though. I’m not a fan of blumhouse movies. I actually don’t really like them all that much. I’m not sure I would like the fnaf movie if I wasn’t familar with fnaf. So Im a bit biased

I’m actually a bit excited about the Iron Lung movie too! When iron lung the game came out I liked it. That’s kind of it though. It seemed like a short cool indie game like any other. I didn’t understand why so many people absolutely ADORED this game and for such a long time too. Still dont tbh. It’s not a bad game tho and again I’m very interested to see how the finished movie will look like and what kind of director Markaplier will be lol

zootopia 2??? what??? I mean I loved the first one. It’s extremely nostalgic for me but I’m not sure how to feel about this one yet
