“I’m sorry, but what did you just say?” you gasped, staring at Loki in disbelief.

“I merely asked what Halloween is.”

“Peter!” you shouted, tossing the box of decorations onto the table. “Emergency meeting!”

You grabbed Loki’s wrist and pulled him over to the couch, though it was mainly just him moving of his own accord because he found your antics rather amusing. He quirked an eyebrow as you started laying out the things in the box. You smacked his hand away when he went to pick up a small sparkly bat figurine, causing him to emit a low chuckle.

“What is it?” Peter asked in a frenzy as he used his socks to slide into the room. “What’s the emergency?”

“Loki doesn’t know what Halloween is,” you solemnly answered.

“But it was practically made for him!”

“I know. That’s why it’s our duty to teach him.”

Loki rolled his eyes a little at the way you were talking about him like he wasn’t in the room. Still though, he found your excitement to be enjoyable, so he let it slide. He hadn’t been on Midgard long in the grand scheme of things; it was a few months shy of being a full year. In that time, he’d befriended you and Peter. You took it upon yourselves to be his guide to all things Midgardian, and you took holidays most seriously of all your customs. Loki had heard of most of the days, but never Halloween. Despite acting so flippant, he was excited to see what it was since the last time you’d said a holiday was made for him he’d discovered April Fool’s Day, one of the best things Earth had to offer, in his opinion.

“Is that ok, Mr. Loki?” Peter checked. “Can we teach you?”

“If you so desire,” Loki replied, trying to mask his interest with nonchalance.

“Thank you! You won’t regret it,” you said, bending over to give Loki a kiss on the cheek.

His arm snaked around your waist, pulling you onto his lap, and kissed your cheek, too. You squealed a little before settling down as Peter began his explanation. The transition from friendship to dating was very smooth between you and the trickster god. You went from sitting together on the couch to cuddling there, and from walking side by side to holding hands as you went. Honestly, it was so natural that Loki made you pretend you weren’t dating for a day, just so he could ask you out properly. This was, however, the first Midgardian holiday that you’d been an item for.

Over the course of the next week or so, you’d told him all about Halloween, and he was sold on almost everything. Just not the costume part. After all, what was the point of that when he could shape-shift into anything he wanted. Still though, you’d convinced him, and he was bursting with excitement, whether or not he’d admit it.

“And voila!” you said, applying the finishing touches to Loki’s makeup. “All done. What do you think?”

“A wonderful likeness, darling,” he commented, examining himself in the mirror.

After careful consideration on your part, you decided to do a modern style red riding hood and big bad wolf costume with Loki. You’d spent the last hour carefully designing a wolf face on Loki, and you’d gotten him into a stereotypical bad boy outfit, complete with tight pants that gave you nice view of his ass. Over all, you thought he looked rather dashing, in a sinister sort of way. Kind of like when you’d first met him.

“Now for the finishing touch,” you declared, securing the wolf ear headband in his raven black hair.

“And what of your costume?”

You hummed and held up a finger to signal one minute before slipping into your bathroom and putting it on. A pair of jeans, a tee shirt with a full moon, and a short, red cloak. You grabbed the basket you’d be using to collect candy and stepped back out, doing a little twirl for Loki.

“Absolutely stunning,” he praised. “I think I might have to eat you, after all.”

You self-consciously laughed and ran away as he rushed toward you. He scooped you up from behind and deposited you on the bed, where he promptly started tickling you. The two of you were being so loud that you almost didn’t hear Peter knocking on your door. Still giggling, you went over and let him in to your room. He and MJ walked in, dressed as a zombie king and queen of hearts.

“Awwww, Peter,” you gushed, “you look so cute. And MJ, you look amazing. Let me get a photo.”

“But I’m not supposed to be cute,” he pouted as MJ thanked you. “I’m supposed to be spooky.”

“Do not worry, spiderchild,” Loki said. “I think your costume is very scary.”

Peter beamed, even though he knew Loki was probably just saying that to make him feel better. You smiled warmly at Loki, too, reveling in the fact that you were one of the few people he allowed himself to be this soft around. You snapped a picture of Peter and MJ before taking a group selfie. Then, after a quick lecture on safety from Steve, you were on your way. The next two hours of trick-or-treating were filled with laughs and candy before Peter and MJ split off to go to a Halloween party. You and Loki had your own party to attend back at the tower so, after a hitting a few more houses, you headed back.

“I must say, while this was fun and all, I was expecting there to be a few more tricks involved,” Loki confessed.

“Do you want to scare Tony when we get back?” you suggested.

“Of course. You know me so well, darling.”

That was how you ended up hiding behind a corner doing your best to stifle your laughter. You watched as Loki worked his seiðr to make ghostly figures pass by Tony. He kept looking around and at the peak of his freak out, the two of you jumped out from behind him and shouted “boo”. You scared him so much that his suit came and fit itself onto him. Even though you were both in hysterics at the prank, Loki put his body between you and Ironman, just in case the suit fired.

“Haha, very mature,” Tony said as his heart rate slowed and he powered down the suit. “Don’t think I won’t get you back, though.”

“I would absolutely love to see you try, Stark,” Loki quipped in between laughs.

Once you’d settled down and put enough distance between yourselves and the still seething Tony, you headed to the party. As you walked in, you were greeted by the melody of Monster Mash and Thor dressed in Gryffindor robes.

“Enjoying the night, brother?” he boomed over the din. “I don’t suppose you’ve gotten some candy for me?”

“Well, I did work awfully hard to get it,” he said, faking a pensive mood. “I suppose I do have some to spare though, brother.”

Thor thanked Loki as you gave him a knowing look. He’d struggled so much with trying to repair his relationship with Thor when he’d first move to Midgard. You were proud of him for not only fixing things, but making the bond stronger than ever before.

“I know I look amazing, but you are staring, darling,” he teased, before continuing more seriously, “Is something the matter?”

“No, nothing’s wrong. In fact, everything’s perfect. Dance with me?” you asked, changing the subject in the hopes of quelling your emotions. You didn’t want to have an outburst of tears in front of so many people, even if they were happy ones.

You pulled Loki onto the dance floor as Spooky Scary Skeletons started to play. He wasn’t much for drawing attention to himself in crowds, but your joy and energy were contagious, and soon you were the center of the party. Even so, you had eyes only for Loki.

After a little while, you excused yourselves and made your way to your rooms. After changing into your pajamas, you settled down on the couch to watch a scary movie, and you curled into Loki’s side, feeling safe and protected. At the end of the film, you stayed up talking, still too pumped up with adrenaline to go to sleep right away. After a while, Loki carried you off to bed and crawled under the sheets next to you. He placed a gentle kiss to your forehead, marveling in your beauty in the moonlight.

“Hey, Loki,” you said, your voice already heavy with sleep. He whispered your name in response, and you let out a little sigh when he kissed you again. “I know it’s hardly the holiday for such sentiment, but I love you.”

“I love you, too, my darling. With all my heart.”

You pulled him in for a kiss, this time to the lips. It turned out you wouldn’t be doing much sleeping, after all, and Loki decided this was definitely his new favorite Midgardian holiday.

22. This character is throwing a party. What is it like? How do they generally behave at parties?

nolan: he would throw a house party, to show off his house, room, and assets. it would be exactly like any party you see in an american teen movie: red solo cups, tons of people, nice house. instead of putting away valuable items, nolan leaves them on display (and he still thinks he’s the smartest ever). hes a pretty good host though, and scolds people when they get close to breaking those valuable things. as a guest, he’s up to his usual act: playing all the games to win, pulling out useless trivia, and, to everyone’s amusement, absolutely getting destroyed at bags/cornhole (ultimate party game no questions asked).

vinny: vinny would be much better if he was only in charge of planning one specific part of a party (food, music, invitations, decor, etc.), so if he was planning a big party he’d probably need some help from friends. he’d be all for throwing parties for gryffindor everytime they win a quidditch match, and would help plan that as much as possible. vin would also be a sucker for a surprise party. as a guest, he’d take dumb dares from other guests, go full big brother mode on anyone he sees excessively drinking, and completely wipe the floor with nolan at bags.

Both of you would make a beautiful couple, it probably took Ron a long time to ask you ti be his girlfriend so you asked him! You definitely would bake some cookies for him and try to teach him to do it. You two fight sometimes because Ron can be oblivious about things and sometimes disagree about stuff but definitely at the end of the day you two are laughing and cuddling. You two start talking after Ron's first Quidditch match, he noticed you some time before that but finally had the courage to talk to you that night. It took half a year before you confessed you liked him because of amortentia, it wasn't intentionally you just blurted "Ron, your perfume it's really strong". You really surprised him when Draco said something mean to him about how you shouldn't date him, you don't like when someone judge your relationship. He loves your lips, if it was for him he would kiss you forever. Molly absolutely loves you and always exchange recipes for cakes and cookies, she knows how much you love his son and how much he loves you!

You met him in the street before the big NY city war with the aliens, you were working in a cafe when you saw him come in with two women and a man. You noticed that he was amazed by everything and acting a little bit rude so you didn't pay attention the first time. It wasn't until the NY City War that you realized that you met the god of thunder and that he crashed your bakery. He came every day ordering the same thing until he definitely asked you on a date, you thought about it a few minutes before saying yes while blushing. The rest it's history. He sometimes scares you by dissapearing to go to Asgard or missions and never calling so when he comes home he buys your favourites flowers to say sorry. He is always watching you when you cook or bake because he can't believe the delicious things you made. You can't leave a cookie alone with him because it's probably gone. He likes to make fun of how small you are but definitely loves when you have to get on your toes to kiss him or hug him. Honestly, you try to explain everything he doesn't understand and sometimes you forget how honest you are and say things just like it's nothing. Everytime he has to leave you have a ritual that it's a promise that he would take care about himself and come back in one piece, after that he kiss you in the forehead. You would hate to lose him.

ravenclaw!tony x quidditch player!rhodey (i'm not sure which house)

Tony was never very interested in Quidditch. He was an excellent flyer, that much can be said. But he was more focused on his inventions and making sure that Professor Pierce didn’t find out that he was using the time that he spent lecturing about “the illustrious history of wizards (who were predominantly pureblood)” to do more useful things, like take a nap or invent a quill that could write longer than fifteen minutes. And, you didn’t have to dictate it. 

So Quidditch was rarely his thing, although occasionally he let Sharon drag him down or he went to go see Bruce play. 

This time, it was Ravenclaw against Gryffindor. Bruce had told Tony it would be quite an interesting match because it was a real competition this time, and it’s not like Tony had any homework due. He’d done it all at least a week in advanced. 

So Tony went down to the stands and stood with the rest of the crowd, a hum of excitement buzzing in the air. 

The teams came swirling out of the gates, cheers erupting. But while Tony is cheering and looking for Bruce, someone else catches his eye. 

It’s a very attractive man in red and gold, laughing as Sharon fist-bumps him. He doesn’t know who that is, but he wants to. Suddenly, he’s glad that he’s in the first row. 

The game becomes more interesting. Tony secretly cheers as the guy zooms and scores and people around him groan. 

“Fucking James,” a guy next to him murmurs. 

“Is that the Gryffindor?” Tony asks. 

“Yeah, James Rhodes. A nice guy, absolute beast on the field.” 

“I don’t think I’ve seen him before,” Tony says. 

“That’s because you’re a gigantic nerd who only stays inside during most matches,” Maria hollers. “He goes by Jim and he’s in our Muggle Studies class!” 

“Good to know,” Tony says, looking forward. Pepper rolls her eyes as she finds Tony in the crowd. 

“So, you finally noticed Jim.” 

“Sorry that I was utilizing my time for education instead of ogling someone,” Tony retorts. “My bad.” 

They both turn back to the game. Pepper is surprisingly invested in the game of Quidditch. Her father and mother had met through the sport, both professionally involved. She had surprised both by not entering in to play for Ravenclaw, which they had expected. 

But she cheers loudly as Bruce knocks a bludger directly out of space right into...

James Rhodes. He obviously isn’t expecting it, but it slams into his stomach and he gets knocked off his broom, falling. There are gasps, and Tony can’t bear it. 

He uses a cushioning charm, which could be potentially dangerous seeing as how it was advanced for what he was doing in magic, and he technically wasn’t supposed to know about it. 

James doesn’t know who the hell did the charm, but he grabs his broom and speeds back up. He doesn’t have time, not when the Ravenclaw Seeker is racing towards something that looks suspiciously shiny. 

The Ravenclaw team ends up winning, and James is left to brood as their captain rants about strategy for about the twenty-first-straight-minute. But after the brooding, their captain asks him how he knew about the cushioning charm. 

He blinks. 

“I didn’t.” 

So begins the great question: who did it? 

Pepper knows. So does Bruce. They tease Tony relentlessly about his new crush. 

“Leave it to Tony to put advanced magic as the first move,” Pepper says, reaching delicately across the table to grab a croissant. 

“Shut up,” Tony hisses. “I just...didn’t want him to get hurt. You remember that one kid who’s arm went boneless.” 

“Yeah, that was because of Lockhart, that idiot,” Bruce says, scowling. “I still can’t believe our Defense teacher wanted us to read one of his books. It’s shitty and plagiarized at the same time.” 

Tony laughs. 

“Yeah, you’re right. Luckily, we both bullshitted the essay to prove a point and she didn’t kick our ass.” 

“May’s a scary lady,” Pepper says, shuddering. “I heard she took on a den of vampires all by herself. They called her ‘The Cavalry’.” 

“Well luckily for us, she likes all three of us,” Tony says. “And I need to get to Advanced Arithmancy. I hope I don’t put my wand to my head out of boredom. I’ll see you guys in Muggle Studies!” 

The day goes well, until thirty minutes before Muggle Studies he remembers that they have it with Gryffindor, and this means he will see James Rhodes. 

The Gryffindors are a bunch who tend to not hold too many grudges, although quite a bit of pride was hurt. But they don’t hold it against most of the house and the lesson starts amicably. Their professor then decides they need partnerwork. 

“I’ll be pairing you up with a student from the other house,” Coulson says. “Alright, Pepper Potts with Carol Danvers....” Bruce gets paired with Eddie Brock, who’s been busy writing notes on his arm for a new story, and Tony’s left. 

“Anthony with James.” 

“Tony.” 

“Jim.” 

Coulson rolls his eyes. 

“You two are perfect then. Get to your lesson on researching different innovations, and your presentation will be in fifteen minutes. Two minutes each, be sure to be compelling.” 

Tony is nervous, but he flips through their textbook. Jim is a nice guy to look at. 

"So, you’re Tony?” he asks. 

“You’re...Rhodes?” 

“Call me Jim.” 

“Ah, no. Used to have a neighbor named Jim who tried to kill me when I started making his garden gnomes fly around.” 

“That’s problematic. How old were you?” 

“...seven.” 

“Then what are you gonna call me? Hmm?” 

“Well, I’m not sure, there are lots of possibilities. There’s Jimmy, which is--” 

“No.” 

“Alright, moving on then. Rhodes?” 

“What am I, a butler? Next.” 

“Jim-Jam.” 

“Oh god, that sounds....gross.” 

“Rhodey?” 

“I can....live with that.” 

By the time the conversation is starting to get friendlier, presentations are starting and Tony and newly-named Rhodey realize that they haven’t, in fact, researched any sort of Muggle device, so they will have to bullshit one. 

“Hope you know tech,” Tony mutters, as he stands up. “We researched the computers, which started out technically in the 19th century...” 

“...and now we’re dealing with virtual reality and the revolution of technology in relation to rising prices,” Rhodey finishes. 

“I’m glad you both did thorough research...unlike some of your classmates.” 

(Tony can see the birds that Pepper and Bruce are flipping him, and he nearly laughs out loud as he makes his way to his seat.) 

But Rhodey smiles back at him, and Tony waves. 

When Rhodey comes back to the common room with a tune humming, the whole of the house knows that Rhodey’s feeling something. 

“Who’s the lucky guy?” Carol hollers. 

“What?” Rhodey asks, closing his textbook. 

“Who’s got you dazed and in loooveee?” She sing-songs, tie askew. 

“Nobody,” Rhodey says. “And quit it.” 

“You only hum when you have a crush,” Sharon reminds him. “Remember when you liked Sam?” 

“Please make me forget the humiliation of finding out that he was already dating somebody,” Rhodey says. “And don’t announce this to everyone.” 

But it’s too late, because all of Gryffindor knows and then Carol, Thor, and Sharon make him tell them at midnight. 

“A guy from Muggle Studies,” Rhodey admits. “Name is Tony.” 

Sharon laughs, eyes wide. 

“You mean Tony Stark? My cousin? Oh my god, this is gonna be hilarious.” 

“If you make fun of me I’m going to snipe you,” Rhodey says, flopping onto his back with his pillow. “Now let me sleep.” 

Similarly, Pepper and Bruce have also made fun of Tony. 

“You like him. You gave him a nickname and everything. It took me four months to get one,” Bruce says. “And you gave him one in, like, two seconds. That has to mean true love.” 

“Well sorry I’m not calling someone something as dignified as James or as awful as Jim,” Tony says. “Besides, he’s just cute. I don’t really know anything about him other than he has a nice face and seems nice.” 

“That’s all you need,” Pepper reminds him. “Now come on and try not to look for him when breakfast is.” 

Tony looks for Rhodey. Because of course he does. But Rhodey is looking over his way, and he turns red and waves. Rhodey smiles back, and goes over to talk with him. 

“Oh god,” Tony mutters, trying desperately to swallow the roll he shoved in his mouth quite quickly. He doesn’t manage to and has to spit it into a napkin and face Rhodey, who is laughing a bit. 

“The rolls that bad?” 

“Just a bit on the stale side,” Tony lies. Bruce and Pepper are looking studiously at the bagels that are on their plates, and trying desperately not to belie the laughs they want to belt out. 

“Well just wanted to say hi, wonder what you’re up to. You coming to the next match?” 

“It’s you guys against...Slytherin, right?” 

“Yeah,” Rhodey says. “I’m gonna see if we can kick ass. Natasha’s back with a vengeance.” 

“She tends to like the sharp cuts and daring dives,” Tony says. “Stay steady and don’t chase after her, because she will beat you.” 

“You gonna be there?” 

“Not sure yet,” Tony says, smiling. “Why?” 

“Just thought you’d like to see it,” Rhodey says, shrugging. “I’ll see you soon, okay?” 

“You got it.” 

When Tony turns back to Bruce and Pepper, they look very unimpressed. 

“You need to go to that match,” Bruce says. “And this is coming who only comes for Thor and literally nothing else if I’m not playing.” 

“It’s true,” Pepper says. “Go, and be in the Gryffindor section. I’ll loan you my golden-red scarf.” 

“Why?” 

“Guys like seeing the person they like in their colors,” Pepper says, smiling. “You should invite him to come with you to Hogsmeade. He’d probably indulge your sweet tooth a bit.” 

“That is true,” Bruce says. “Or you guys could watch the new band that is playing at the bar.” 

Tony turns red. 

“I should go, shouldn’t I?” 

“Don’t be an idiot,” Bruce says. “I’ll come with you.” 

Tony starts looking for different Gryffindor scarves to wear, because Pepper’s is too bold. He wants something understated. 

As it turns out, Gryffindor doesn’t do understated. They’re all bold and they all keep asking why he wants it, and he breaks down and says that he’s going for Rhodey, and he wants to fit in. 

Sharon elbows him and gets a sweater. 

“I love this,” Tony gushes. “Thanks for letting me borrow your stuff, Sharon.” 

Carol looks on as he rushes down the hallway. 

“He doesn’t know that’s Rhodey’s, right?” she asks. 

“No, no he does not,” Sharon adds, grinning. “I think our guy might just run into a hoop. Do you think they count in-love players as points?” 

“If we bribe Sam enough,” Carol snickers. “Hope you didn’t just doom us for tomorrow.” 

(She almost did, but Rhodey’s a good player. 

But he does go in for a kiss on his broom, and it makes a lovely picture for the school picture.)

7 - How does he get along with Albus?

James and Albus have very much a “nobody gets to mess with my brother except me” dynamic. As kids, they very much snipe at each other a lot. James teasing Albus until he cries is not an uncommon dynamic, in a mix of “James doesn’t know when to stop pushing” and “Albus knows his mum will always take his side if he cries.”

“Big brash loud brother vs. Sneaky little s*** brother,” all the way, in other words. I was honestly deeply reminded of the Potter brothers when I watched Thor: Ragnarok. I can absolutely imagine the two of them doing Get Help. (Honestly, I can also imagine Lily awakening the wolf Fenrir and ushering in Armageddon, but that’s another matter.)

But if anyone else so much as says a word against either of them? Suddenly they’re facing the united wrath of the Potter brothers (and their sister, Lily--honestly, be more afraid of Lily). Like in the Big Fic I have a moment where someone in Gryffindor says something about “all Slytherins” and James just turns around and straight-up punches them ‘cause you don’t talk that way about his little brother.

James will fairly freely admit to adoring his annoying baby brother, though that doesn’t stop him from picking fights or, say, turning him entirely green at one point. Albus will only grudgingly admit to adoring his obnoxious big brother, but he definitely does all the same.

(As an aside: James was keeping book among the Weasley cousins on when Albus and Scorpius were finally going to get together. Albus was not well pleased. Though he was a little better pleased when he found out what kind of odds he was giving.)

The Houses After Finishing 'Endgame'

Gryffindor: Slightly sad, but mostly just excited for all the movies to come. Thought Thor and Rocket were the best parts of the movie. Can't wait for 'Asguardians of the Galaxy'.

Hufflepuff: Sobbing, absolutely drenched in tears, won't stop whispering, "I love you 3000." Going home to hug their Iron Man and Black Widow action figures.

Ravenclaw: Overanylizing every scene, the color palletes, the dialougue, the characters faces in the background, EVERYTHING!

Slytherin: "Thanos is a weak ass bitch. Thirty minutes into that movie I could have taken over the universe and gotten icecream to boot."

The one in the train

About the series: What are you about to read is a series in a sitcom manner. This means the chapters are going to be only briefly connected to each other and you don’t have to read them all (you can start in the middle if you want and you will still understand what’s going on). Just as in sitcoms majority of the stories will have the beginning and the end (something like oneshots). Think of it as if you were watching Friends that I copied the title from. 

This series was a request (Could you possibly do a hogwarts au with a slytherin reader and Loki or make it a series with different mcu characters?) from anon and as a hopeless potterhead I had to do it.

Chapter summary: September is here and it’s your final year at Hogwarts. You not only meet your best friends at the platform, but it looks like your crush has finally taken interest in you. Could it be the year?

You stood on your tiptoes, trying to find your friends in the horrible crowd on the platform. Your parents already left, hurrying to work and you were left alone with the truck.

“Where the hell are they…?” You murmured and began to slowly walk around the platform.

You peaked at the clock. The train would leave in twenty minutes and you still couldn’t find anyone. You saw Steve and Bucky and waved to them. Steve still looked so damn good…

Last year during one of your private parties boys mixed a few potions together with butterbeer and Steve was unlucky, or maybe lucky enough to lose a challenge and drink the mix. He turned from asthmatic and skinny boy to a muscular sex god. You even dated for a couple of weeks until his huffflepuffy behavior started to annoy you.

“Looking for me?”

You almost jumped when you heard Loki’s voice whispering to your ear. You turned around and hugged him with laughter.

“Here you are!” You moved at the length or your arms, still holding him. “Your hair is longer.”

He shrugged and smiled.

“Maybe a little. You always said I would look better if-“

“Nat!” You shouted and waved, interrupting him. Red-haired girl turned and smiled when she saw you two, and quickly kissed her mother goodbye before running towards you with her trolley.

“I missed you so much, guys!” She hugged you both at the same time. “How are you?”

“Fine now that I’m with you!” You laughed and pulled her for yet another hug. “The summer was awful, my parents were away all the time-“

“Oh my God,” Nat interrupted you and held your arm tightly.

“What is it?” Loki turned to the direction she was looking but only furrowed.

“Y/N, don’t look, but Tony Stark is checking you out.”

You widened your eyes.

“What?!” You squeaked. “How do I look?”

“Lovely-“

“Dumb.” Loki murmured and you hit his arm. “I just don’t see why you want him to like you so much, I can smell your desperation.”

You had a crush on Tony Stark since fifth grade. He was the smartest, the coolest guy you’ve ever met. He played Quidditch, had the best results in OWLs, had ridiculously rich parents and had perfect hair. His mother was a witch, but his father was a muggle. Not an ordinary muggle, of course, but one of the most brilliant ones. He knew about wizards’ society long before he met his wife, he worked for the muggle government and the ministry. Tony was just as genius as his father and mixed muggle technology with magic. If only he wasn’t Gryffindor…

You dared to look at him. He was talking with Clint, leaning nonchalantly against the pillar with his messy hair and round glasses. He was indeed looking at your direction, but there was no way he was looking at you.

“What part of don’t look you are unable to understand?” Nat hissed.

“He’s not even looking at me,” you murmured, disappointed.

But then Tony’s eyes met yours and he slowly eyed you from your shiny black shoes to the top of your head. And winked. You couldn’t force yourself not to smile but was strong enough not to squeak.

“This could be the year, Nat.” You smiled at her and she widened her eyes before squirming.

“The year?” She held your hands.

“Will you tell me what are you talking about?” Loki sighed, his eyes travelling from you to Nat.

She fixed her ponytail and peaked at you knowingly. You rolled your eyes.

“That’s just girly thing,” you tried to avoid answering and hoped he would let it go.

“I’ve already heard enough about your periods to not be afraid of the ‘girly things’.” He raised his eyebrows.

“Then go and find yourself some male friends.”

“I already have Nat.” She hit his arm and he giggled. “Can you just tell me what the deal with the year is?” He waved his fingers and rolled his eyes.

“The year she’ll lose her virginity-“

“Yeah, speak louder, they can’t hear you in Buckingham Palace yet!” You hissed at her.

“Wait, wait, wait.” Loki turned you to himself. “You don’t mean with Stark, do you? He barely looked at you and you already plan your wedding?”

“I planned our wedding two years ago.”

He just blinked a few times, you could see how hope in you slowly disappeared in his eyes.

“You can do better.”

“There is no better than Tony Stark, I can assure you that.” You held your truck and took a few steps in the direction of the train, but Loki didn’t follow you, so you turned to him. He looked somewhat betrayed, his arms crossed on his chest. “Oh, come on. You are absolutely perfect as well.” Your words seemed to cheer him a bit and Nat pushed him to move. “We need to find a free compartment, I don’t want to ride with someone I don’t know.”

You walked into the train, fighting your way through first and second graders, searching for free compartment. You found it in the middle of the train and heavily sat on the seat. Loki and Nat followed you.

“You know what, I can’t believe you’re still crushing on him,” Loki said after you’ve all settled.

“Can you let it go already?” You sighed.

“And what will happen if you actually start dating and then you would have to kick his ass in Quidditch? You are both Captains of your teams.”

“Then I’ll kick his ass and make it up to him later. Besides, we played against each other dozens of times.”

“Are you jealous?” Nat asked, leaning to Loki.

He furrowed.

“I’m not jealous, what for? I just don’t like him, he’s a douche and a Griffindor. She’s done already too much socializing with other houses when she dated Rogers.”

The door to your compartment opened and Loki’s brother, Thor, leaned on the frame. You liked the Scandinavian nature of the Odinson brothers. Their parents moved to England briefly before the boys got their letters.

“Go away,” Loki said, not letting his brother make a word.

“Everywhere else is full and there is only the three of you in here.”

“We don’t want you nor your Gryffindor friends in here-“

“We do!” Nat sat straighter and poked you with her elbow. You looked up and saw Tony and Clint behind Thor, waiting for you to let them in.

“Yes! I mean sure. Come in. Whatever.” You tried to act cool, but failed miserably.

Loki sighed and sat next to you, freeing the seats in front of you for the boys. You wrapped your arm around Nat’s and leaned to her ear, so no one else could hear what you were saying.

“If I do something stupid just kick me.”

“Got it.” She nodded with a smirk.

“So, Y/N,” Thor started when the train moved, “I’ve heard you were made a Quidditch Captain this year.”

You nodded, surprised he tried to talk to you. You weren’t really fond of him, mostly because of Loki’s influence.

“That’s true.”

Tony made himself more comfortable in the corner and adjusted his glasses. You weren’t exactly sure if he needed them, because he wasn’t always wearing them, but he looked so hot.

“You think your team can beat mine?” He asked with a cheeky smile.

“Oh, I am sure my team can beat yours.” You tugged your hair behind your ear. “You won’t be hugging that cup for long.”

He raised his eyebrows, but the smile on his face was the same.

“You say so?”

You smiled slightly.

“Your team is uncoordinated and you just lost your best two players. They graduated, didn’t they?”

“And you think your team is perfect?”

“They were far from being prefect last year, but now I am the Captain. We’ll win that cup.”

“She’s sassy,” he cheekily smiled at you again and shamelessly eyed you once more.

“Anything off the trolley, dears?” The chubby lady opened the door and peaked through.

“Yes!” It seemed like everyone shouted and moved to look if she had anything new.

You were lying on the seats, your head on Loki’s thighs and legs on Natasha’s, lazily eating the jellies. Everyone was bored of the road since you’ve used things to talk about within twenty minutes. Looked like your romance didn’t work out well today. And Loki was pissed off by the presence of the Gryffindors, so naturally he didn’t want to talk to you, it was your fault that they were in the compartment, after all. Even if he was mad at you he was unwittingly playing with your hair while reading his book. Tony was peaking at you again and you felt like you needed cold shower.

“Nat.” You tugged her hand. “We should change in our robes.”

“We have some time-“

“Nat.” She rolled her eyes and nodded.

“You can change here, we don’t mind.” Clint smirked and received a hit with a chocolate frog from Nat. Straight in his face.

You got up, took the robes from your bag and dragged Natasha out of the compartment.

“What should I do, Nat?” You asked her, slightly in panic. “He’s sitting right in front of me and we have nothing to talk about besides Quidditch.”

“Maybe he’s simply not the one?” She walked into the bathroom and you followed her. “Perhaps he looks good and that’s just it?”

“It can’t be!” You cried.

“Then maybe give yourselves some time. You will eventually find similar interests, this was what? The fourth time you’ve ever talked to him? Relax.”

“Maybe you’re right…” You put your shirt and skirt on. “Maybe I am being a little overdramatic.”

She adjusted her tie and fixed her fringe.

“When he’ll see you in that new skirt he’ll go crazy, believe me,” she said, eyeing you.

“I bought it at Madame Malkin’s, I asked her to make it slightly shorter… I looked terrible in the knee-length,” you sighed and wiped some invisible dust from the skirt. “It’s a pity we didn’t go to Diagon Alley together this year.”

“I know.” She took your hand. “And it’s our last year! Can you believe it?”

You shook your head.

“I’m going to miss Hogwarts so much. Miss seeing you and Loki every day!”

“You know, now that you mentioned him-“

Someone knocked on the door fiercely.

“Get out! Others have to pee as well!”

You rolled your eyes and grabbed the clothes before leaving. Some Ravenclaw girl stormed inside, murmuring.

“So what were you saying about Loki?”

“Well, he’s a bit grumpy today, isn’t he?”

“Isn’t he always when his brother is around?”

She shook his head.

“I feel like we ruined his mood when we talked about Tony. I just don’t know why?”

“He just doesn’t like him, that’s all.” You shrugged. He never liked Tony, even though they were never really mean to each other.

“I think there’s more to that.” She opened the door to the compartment and let you in first.

The boys were already dressed and were talking about the feast and how hungry they were, and Loki was still reading his book, completely silent. You sat next to him and put your chin on his shoulder to see what he was reading. The book was in Norse and you couldn’t understand a word.

“Everything okay?” You murmured to his ear, so no one would hear your conversation.

“Perfectly fine.” His voice was cold and you wrapped your arms around his, leaning closer.

“I can see that it’s not. You won’t fool me, not after six years.”

“God, why are you so clingy?” He sighed, but didn’t do anything to move away from your grasp. “I’m just hungry.”

You looked out of the window, at the woods you knew so well. The train was slowing down. You couldn’t stop yourself and smiled when you saw the blurry shape of the castle before you.

You were back. You were at Hogwarts.

The unfamiliar language left his tongue before he even knew what was happening; hissed out so elegantly and yet so unnerving. Green eyes focused intently on the slithering creature that had been set loose in the castle by a still unknown student; a deadly cobra that found itself confused, cornered, and very agitated in the sudden midst of hundreds of students. Even as the previously hissing snake turned its gaze to him, Loki did not realize what he’d done. Even as he continued to communicate with the creature, tensions high, he was too focused to figure it out.

It wasn’t until one of the professors contained the now distracted snake, a simple spell disarming the threat, that Loki noticed the way all the students stared at him and not the cobra. The way that even his professor, a teacher that normally got on well with him, regarded him with unease. Before he could speak up, he heard the students start to whisper as several backed away from him. Confusion filled him until he heard the whispered word “parseltongue”. 

That was all it took for realization to hit the prefect and his blood to run cold. He had spoken to the snake; communicated with it. They feared him. Emerald eyes frantically searched the Great Hall, and as they landed on his friends he watched as even they looked away nervously, refusing to speak or stand up for him. His gaze darted to the Gryffindor table, seeking out his brother. 

Thor stood there, electric blue eyes wide, clearly just as shocked as Loki and completely speechless. Even Loki, who had always been able to talk his way out of detentions and fool the professors to the point he’d become a prefect, couldn’t find any words.

No one broke the silence, other than to whisper to their friends. Professors at their table said nothing, fellow students backing away from him every time he even moved an inch. Loki knew what they were all thinking, and he knew that none of them would say it. 

He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

Voldemort’s abilities were no secret as he had risen to power, and there certainly weren’t any other living parseltongues for Loki to be compared to. It was so incredibly rare, all throughout the history of wizardry around the world left only a handful of them, very few of them good.

Finally, Loki couldn’t take the silence any longer, shifting to move past his professor, who finally broke the silence with only his name, but it was ignored. Students parted like waves as he moved towards them, all but running out of the Great Hall as he tried to maintain his composure, forcing himself to hold his head high. As he started to move away from the Hall, he could hear the explosion of conversation in his absence and he knew exactly what every topic would be that dinner. How long before even the ghosts and paintings whispered about him as he passed by? 

The prefect made his way in silence to the Slytherin common room, afraid of what the following day would bring.

A week later, and Loki could never have imagined the hell that night in the Great Hall could bring him. He had written home early the next morning, when most of the castle were still asleep, and by the next morning he had a reply. And unfortunately, the shocking news that he had been adopted spread easily through the student body, on top of recounts of the parseltongue incident. The combination of these two things created absolute chaos when it came to rumors. Slytherins that leaned towards Voldemort’s way of thinking now sneering at their once proud classmate, pointing out that there was no guarantee that he really was a pureblood, that he had no relation to the proud Odinson family.

Others whispered that surely he was in league with Voldemort, that there could be nothing good about a parseltongue. That him being sorted into Slytherin had clearly been a sign from the start that he was bad, Slytherins quickly stepping in to argue. To say that they didn’t claim him, starting the age old argument between the fringes of the houses over whether the house of Salazar was home to evil wizards. (And though the houses generally got along with each other, hard times seemed to bring out those diehard groups so easily.)

Friends ignored him, distanced from him. When he went to sit at the Slytherin table for meals, people would get up and move away from him without a word. Only cold glares. It got to the point that he preferred walking through the halls for his prefect duties to going to most meals. People weren’t happy to see him coming anyways in those times, so it wasn’t as bad as dealing with them at any other point.

And though Thor would still stand by him, despite his own uneasiness with the development, there wasn’t much time for them to even see each other between Thor’s sixth year classes and Quidditch. 

Loki found he wasn’t even welcome in his own common room anymore, and had taken to finding the most empty corner of the library to do his homework, as he had on this night. But even as he finished his work and shoved the parchment into his bag, he found himself just sitting there, staring down at the table. His cat sat on his lap, trying to rub against his hand but the young wizard just sat there, gaze shifting out the dark window into the night.

- Bucky badly injures his left arm in a Quidditch accident, to the extent where it can’t be fixed by magic, so Madam Cho (Helen Cho - school nurse) gives him a magical silver one (like the one Voldemort gave Wormtail). Needless to say, he now looks ten times scarier and the first-years avoid him AT ALL COSTS.

- The chasers are good, but Quill is the worst. And he thinks the exact opposite, and, as such, is always trying to impress the other two chasers (which is pointless because Valcarol). Anyway, Quill’s good, but too clumsy and not serious enough. How many times has he been kicked off the team? A lot.

- Thor hits the bludgers too hard, and tends to cause more injuries to the crowds than the other team. He causes the team a lot of fouls.

- Steve is a great keeper, but... The other teams hate playing against him. Why? Because of the shield charm, of course! It’s literally his go-to in every match and no one is better at it than him. 

- On the other hand, Steve is way too easily distracted during matches, and this balances out his freakish skill. Why is he so easily distracted? Well, due to the nature of Bucky’s position, he has a tendency to leave his post and play the hero if a bludger is coming at Bucky, even though it’s literally his JOB to get rid of the bludgers. Although Steve won’t admit that he does this, of course.

- Overall, probably best team in the school, very strong and ruthless. Won the last three quidditch cups? Gets a lot of fouls though.

Lessons

Transfiguration

Peggy is the best in this class.

Quill is the worst in this class.

Admittedly, Quill is a bit of a class clown. 

Carol needs to calm down a bit with her spells. Has the same sort of effects with a wand as Seamus Finnigan.

Steve is also good at this class. Steve is good at everything.

Bucky hates him for it (except he doesn’t).

Thor breaks a lot of stuff, but he loves this class because it means he can break as many mugs as he likes and keep replacing them.

Clint doesn’t see the point of this class.

Valkyrie acts like it’s no big deal and that she’s naturally gifted at transfiguration, but she actually spends hours studying because she just can’t wait to learn to transfigure something into a sword. Or a horse.

Darcy is good at transfiguration but doesn’t realise it. Tends to get things right accidentally.

Potions

Nobody likes this class and nobody pretends to.

Steve actually tries because he’s the Golden Boy.

Nobody behaves in this class because pfft who cares it’s just potions! Also who doesn’t love winding up the professor?

They lose a lot of house points in this class.

A lot.

When he can be bothered, Clint is actually really good at it (he’s very precise).

Thor knows more about potions than he’s letting on, and while everyone else barely scrapes through with a pass, he actually knows most things about potions. (Valkyrie suspects he gets his info from his brother but doesn’t mention it).

Carol only listens when it’s for her own benefit.

Defence Against The Dark Arts

Guess who’s best at this one.

It’s the Golden Boy...

Steve Rogers. The Star Spangled Boy Man With A Plan.

Bucky actually pays as much attention as he can in this class, because he feels like the knowledge is something he really needs (more on why later).

When they practise duelling, you don’t want to get in the way of Peggy. She is literally probably a million times more dangerous than any of the teachers.

Also when they practise duelling, Valkyrie and Carol always team up, and so do Steve and Bucky, but they have completely different dynamics.

Valkyrie and Carol spend the whole time being snarky and teasing each other and actually trying to win...

Whereas Bucky and Steve are constantly apologising to each other even though they’re doing what they’re supposed to and neither one wants to hurt the other.

Thor needs to calm down. 

So does Darcy, but for entirely different reasons. She’s kinda... overexcitable. 

Also, on the rare occasion that they do pair up, Thor and Carol are a terrifying sight to behold while duelling.

Again, they need to calm down. 

More than once they’ve broken something or injured someone.

Clint’s okay at this class, but gets frustrated because he doesn’t feel like he’s as good as everyone else.

Other:

Bucky was taken/recruited/brainwashed/indoctrinated into following Hydra (Death Eaters/Voldemort).

He’s really not okay about it and just tries to get on with his schoolwork and focus on things like quidditch.

But a certain Steven Grant Rogers does not make it easy.

He’s always trying to get Bucky to open up, after or during quidditch practice, in lesson, in the Great Hall, in the dorm, in the common room, any time he thinks he can catch Bucky off guard.

And slowly, although Bucky absolutely hates the fact, it’s working.

Not only is it working, he’s falling for the stupid pretty boy.

(Not that Steve has had a crush on Bucky since first year or anything and he now seriously doubts himself because back then he was a tiny, skinny, sickly little thing and now that he’s had a massive growth spurt Bucky is finally paying him any attention but that can’t be it, right? He likes him for more than his looks, right?)

Valkyrie and Carol are very obviously in love with each other and everyone knows it, even though they’re both far too proud to admit it.

They’re the queens of the Common Room and are always bantering back and forth to the extent that it’s become a form of nightly entertainment.

Quill is the idiot of the house (and no matter how annoyed with him everybody gets, they all love him really).

He’s the one that enchants snowballs to attack the windows of the tower.

In regards to Hogsmeade

Bucky and Steve are definitely the ones who have no permission to go and yet sneak out anyway. They never get caught.

Darcy actually believes the rumours about the Shrieking Shack.

Quill has been banned from Hogsmeade more than once (not that anyone’s Valkyrie and Carol  been keeping count, but at the moment he has a grand total of 27 times).

Clint throws snowballs at unwary villagers below. 

In regards to Christmas

Bucky, Quill, Carol and Valkyrie stay behind at Christmas. They’re the only Gryffindors that do.

They get up to a lot of mischief exploring the castle, and because it’s Christmas, the teachers let them off.

Christmas is the only time when Valcarol are actually sweet with each other and don’t spend as much time bantering as they do breathing.

Maybe the last day of term before the Christmas break is when Stucky have their first kiss. Just a goodbye kiss, initiated by Steve, before he leaves, and Bucky is just like. oh. no.

Fortunately, Valcarol are on hand to a) offer advice and b) offer a distraction from his angst.

And then Steve has the audacity to come back after Christmas and act like nothing has happened. The audacity!

Also, Thor got a new broom over Christmas. Hence, everyone needs to take cover.

Peggy’s parents are muggles, and, although she won’t admit it, she’s infinitely happier at Hogwarts, because, to be honest, her parents just don’t get it, and here are people who won’t doubt her sanity or ability.

Clint actually has a really great, supportive home life but his friends literally know nothing about it. For all they know, he lives in a cave with a troll (although they know that he probably doesn’t).

Darcy also has muggle parents and so brings to Hogwarts her new iPod that she got for Christmas. It explodes the minute she enters Hogwarts, as the magic messes with the wiring, and she gets in quite a bit of trouble before the teachers realise just how oblivious she is and that she really meant no harm.

Ok, so that was a lot. I’ll do one for the other three houses and then other stuff, and I get people might not agree with how I’ve Sorted certain characters, but it’s just my opinion of where they should be.

Just a fun post

Who in the MCU would be able to wield the sword of Godric Gryffindor? Remember, only true Gryffindors can wield the sword and we only see two people in the whole Harry Potter series do it: Harry and Neville

So what makes a true Gryffindor? Daring, nerve, and chivalry set Gryffindors apart

But it's not enough to simply be daring, have nerve, and have chivalry. It must, and this is important, set you apart from everyone else

So, let's start with the obvious pick:

Steve would be able to wield it. He dares and has the nerve to defy the government, shield, and Hydra, he has a strong moral code and kind to all (chivalry), and all these things set him apart from the rest. He is the only one to stare Thanos down and go to fight him and his army with a broken shield. I'd say that sets him apart

Natasha would also wield it. Apart from also defying all the same organizations Steve does, she dies for the soul stone, and yeah I would say that sets her apart as well

Peter Parker. He dares and has the nerve to not listen to what anyone tells him because he does the right thing to his core. And his big act that sets him apart from the rest? He hasn't done it yet, but I can feel it building in the series

And that's literally it. These are the only MCU characters I believe are true Gryffindors through and through (Sam and Bucky too, but when we know more about them it may change)

And now let's reverse it; who in the wizarding world would be able to wield Thor's hammer

Let's get one thing straight right away; Harry would not be able to wield it

*gasps from my followers* whaaaat? But he walked to death to save the wizarding world! How is he not worthy

It's simple really, the same reason Peter Parker isn't worthy in the comics; he is not willing to kill

I'm not kidding. This is the reason peter parker can't wield the hammer and it's the same reason Harry wouldn't. Harry really tries to save everyone, I love him for it, but it's his biggest flaw because sometimes, like when he tells Voldemort to feel remorse and be redeemed, he is absolutely wrong in doing so (I always praise him for wanting Voldemort to redeem himself, but some people disagree). So yeah, pains me to say it but Harry Potter -> not worthy (he would be if it were my decision on what makes worthy instead of Odin's, the walk should be enough for him to be worthy but ya know. It's not unfortunately)

I do think he would be able to move it though, like Steve in AOU, because Steve should have been worthy, but he wasn’t because at the time he wasn’t willing to kill, but in Endgame he did want to kill Thanos, which is the reason he isn’t worthy until Endgame, but in AOU the Hammer moved slightly for him because even the Hammer knew he should be worthy, just isn’t because of Odin, and I think the same would happen with Harry

So who is, well for one

Hermione. I think she would be able to wield the hammer. While we don't see her kill directly, she was more than happy to leave Draco and Crabbe burn one the battle of Hogwarts. On top of that, she is determined in everything she does and always seems to know what's right

Neville. He had killed Nagini, defied Voldemort, and came in to his own. He would be able to wield the hammer

I'm about to shock y'all: Snape. Yes I believe Snape would be worthy. He literally spied on Voldemort and death eaters for the wizarding world and killed Dumbledore (on Dumbledores orders) to continue tricking Voldy and hopefully get the chance to beat him. Arguably, he is the most worthy of the characters

And lastly, of course, Dumbledore. Of course he is worthy
