Am I a Good Worker (tm)
Or am I putting up with more shit than it's worth
#gosh- ive outlasted serveral other drivers now#all the new hires try it for 1-3 days and nope out#either for driving range or fuckin long hours or the hazardous waste handling at a low paygrade#i wqs supposed to get transferred into the lab Weeks ago#and this week i was told id start training in wetchem/microbio - yet i still have 8+hour driving shifts#fuckin- 2nd or 3rd person in and often one of the last to leave- the whole workday comes and goes while im on the road#cant really fuckin train with lab staff if im Gone from before they arrive to after they leave#still on a countdown to quit if i dont make it into the lab by mid Sept- which would be over a month after i was Supposed to be the lab#like fuck- i APPLIED as a lab tech- i HAVE a science degree and lab expereince- but im a driver on the lowest payscale#and the new hires for drivers have been highschool dropouts- like thanks for confirming im WELL overqualified for what yall have me doing#pi speaks#welcome to the whisper log#i GUESS i understand bringing chemical degrees directly into the lab- but fuck man- ive been waiting to get into the lab for months#its pretty dishartening to see they're hiring new people direct to lab while im still sweating it out driving and doing waste disposal
