WIBTA if I got in the habit of reporting traffic violators that piss me off?
Age and gender not important. You see, recently I installed a dash cam on my car, now every time I drive I have video recordings of all my trips.
The area I live in is notorious for irresponsible driving, it's not an exaggeration when I say that I almost get into accidents 5-10 times per week.
I have thought of reporting these people but tbh my laziness is the only thing stopping me, but I'm thinking of doing it when someone REALLY pisses me off. I have got used to it that I'm desensitized to it, so it'd take a lot to pisses me off. I'm not talking about people who turn without using the turn signal or make a U turn from across the street, I'm talking people that are drifting on high traffic roads etc. But also I feel if I started doing that, it'll eventually escalate in reporting people who just piss me off and make me late but not actually threatening my safety, like someone who is driving on two lanes and won't allow me to pass, or driving too slow in the wrong lane etc.
Also to make it clear, I'm not calling the cops on them per se, the whole process is online, I'll be reporting them with attaching the video for evidence, the person viewing it will issue a ticket that the driver will be notified of by a message, and they'll have to pay a fine, and depenting on the violation itself it might going to cost an arm and a leg.
On very rare occasions the cops will get involved, like when someone is a repeat offender committing serious safety hazard acts.
I justify this by saying if they don't want to be punished, maybe they should be driving more responsibly, but on the other hand, these acts are so normalized and they all think it's not a big deal, and if they are struggling financially they might end up starving and sometimes even in jail.
I'm just hoping that if I report a few people, some of them hopefully will make a viral tweet warning other drivers that there are 'secret agents' on a lookout all the time and they need to be careful, just like how they do whenever a new speeding camera gets installed on the road, like they'll memorize its location and drive responsibly when they pass by it, but my dashcam isn't bound to a specific location, they will never be able to tell when they might get recorded. To be clear I don't want them to starve or get seriously harmed, I just want them to practice safe driving. WIBTA?
What are these acronyms?

I read your post about the Dead Dove Do Not Eat tag, and how you think people should take more responsibility for their own experience in the fandom sphere, and I very much agree with the points you raised. I just have a question regarding this one:
" "But what if I read something that wasn't tagged X?" Well, that's very unfortunate for you, but if it is genuinely that upsetting, you have a responsibility to yourself to only browse things explicitly tagged to not include X."
So, when I'm writing fanfics, and putting them on Ao3, should I tag their lack of things they don't include? Like, none of my fics include self harm, because I'm not willing to read it and even less willing to write it, should I put "#no self harm" in there, for people who have a worse reaction to it than I do and are following your advice?
Not asking "is it a moral imperative" because I know it isn't, but is it something you think would actually help anybody?
So, let's talk about context, because like all great spats in Fandom, this is about context.
Tags are contextual. They're flags that are trying to bring a specific demographic to your fic. Or, conversely, keep a certain demographic away from your fic. Tags are also never comprehensive. It is impossible to tag a fic comprehensively, because there will always be more tags. You can tag for the food that appears, the clothes, the political framework taken for granted. You can tag for gender or sexuality of the characters, even if the story is not about that per se. (See the large number of people annoyed when you write trans characters in stories and don't advertise it widely, despite their genital configuration having anything to do with the story at hand. Hi, Pokemon fandom. No, I will never forgive you the harassment and transphobia.)
The wording in the post, I acknowledge, might appear very dramatic at first glance. But that's because it's responding to a very dramatic, very aggressive statement. The way that certain people weaponize their trauma to try and shut down art they do not like. "This triggered me!" Is a really shitty comment to get, as a writer. Because it's usually a trap. If you extend sympathy, you will quickly find that the person yelling at you about this doesn't want platitudes or commiseration or actual resources to manage their triggers. They want you to take your fic down and remove it from the world, because "it triggered them." They want to treat your fic like a dog with rabbies: putting it down is the only conceivable solution, and no amount of polite rebukes (or, let's face it, annoyed snarking) will get you anywhere. They are not having a conversation with you. They have deemed you responsible for doing them harm (your work triggered them, therefore you, personally, set out to trigger them) and they're not willing to take anything less but the obliteration of your work as restitution.
The response "lol, that's a you problem, if it's so bad, you have a personal responsibility to not read anything that isn't explicitly stated to not include the thing that triggers you" is very mean. I acknowledge that. But it's not a response that comes from community, it's a response that aims to communicate clearly and concisely that you're not available to entertain any kind of overwrought nonsense and that you're not available to be emotionally blackmailed into removing your work from circulation.
Triggers are like allergies. The people that have them have to manage them to their best of their ability, and the people who don't have those triggers could stand to do more to be accommodating, for sure. Current tag culture is in fact the result of years upon years of the Wild West Internet that us old farts are constantly talking about. See, in the old internet, there was no social expectation for tagging. You got a title, you got a rating (not always!), sometimes you got a pairing. Anything else was a roulette. Like literally anything. I used to be in FMA fandom way back before AO3 and tag culture was a thing and let me tell you, the amount of times I ended up mid-incest fic because the initial premise sounded like a cute brothers bonding scenario? More than once. There was no tag for incest. Someone threw a fic into an IRC channel with a generic "this one was good!" and it could be ANYTHING. Literally anything!
Here's where I disagree with a lot of The Olds who whine about The Old Days: the Old Days way of doing fic? Awful. Shitty. Traumatizing, legitimately. I love tag culture. I think tag culture is one of the nicest, most amazing things we as a fandom have come together to do. It gives so much freedom for the author to choose how much they want to spoil/warn form, and it also gives readers so much freedom of choice! It's a great system! Not a perfect one. No system is perfect. But it's a great compromise. I don't think people understand how utterly revolutionary the Archive Warnings are, in AO3. Just narrowing it down to those four! (Underage, Non-Con, Graphic Violence and Character death, for those uninitiated, as well as the opt out of Chose Not to Use Archive Warnings.) This system allows the most widespread triggers and preferences to be respected. If you don't like fic about people under 18 doing anything relationship related? Slap that Underage and the Choose Not To Warn archive warning in your exclude options and you're good. Same for non-con. Or Character death! The way the Archive is setup, this guarantees you will not see fic with that.
That's revolutionary! It's great! We should hype it more.
This is one of the reasons why I'm so testy about the Dead Dove tag. I know the ship has sailed, the tag has changed meaning and it is a completely different function now, than when it started. (This is also why I don't respond to the handful of people who insist that my history is wrong and the tag is useful actually! They're missing the point of the post and also I was there when the tag first came about. I'm in the reblogs of the original post.) The problem with Dead Dove is not itself, but that its a symptom of people - most commonly antis, but really, this isn't a group-specific behavior, stupidity is policy neutral - using tags not to find fic to read or to filter out fic they don't want to read, and instead using them to find people to harass. That endangers the whole system, because people stop using understandable, straightforward tags for their stuff and instead start making convoluted spaghetti tags that only make sense in-group to try and avoid getting caught in the harassment campaign. And that sucks! That kind of behavior should be publicized and blacklisted in fandom. Ostracize people who try to misuse categorization tools as weapons of abuse, and endanger the entire system in the process. Fuck them.
To your point, should you add "no self-harm" to your fic? I don't know! I don't know your fic. Does it make sense for you to add it? Do the rest of the tags in your fic paint a picture that might require that clarification? I think the underlying conversation is that people who fearmonger about their triggers and try to use their trauma to bully strangers on the internet are really very stupid. Most stories don't include a tag about self-harm because most stories don't include any self-harm at all. Same with sexual acts. Or crimes. Tags highlight content that might be expected based on the culture the fic is coming from. If you write fic for the alien incest show (Trigun) and your fic somehow doesn't have any aliens or incest in it, it would be worthwhile to tag it for it. Just because people might expect it! Or if you're writing about depression and spiraling and mental health crisis for a character but very specifically not about self-harm? Yeah, that'd make sense to highlight that.
Ultimately, as the author, you get to choose the tags you put in, and in doing so, you choose the audience you're targeting. This is where the triggers as allergies metaphor breaks though. Fanfic is not a necessity. It's a privilege. It's a gift writers give their fandom and no one in their fandom is entitled to it. That's why tags are optional. That's why you can still rawdog fic the way we used to, and read through "Chose not to warn" And all the stories that have a fandom and a pairing and a rating, and then nothing else. No one's life is being endangered, if they don't get to read any given fic. Does it suck to be excluded in a community space? Sure! But it's not life or death and treating it like such is the source of much of the headaches around this.
Fanfic is a gift. If you have very bad triggers, you have a responsibility to yourself to only accept gifts that are explicitly for you (tagged around your personal triggers). You can always ask, but an author is always entitled to decline to tag their work. And they're not being an asshole for it. Social media has poisoned people into seeing any interaction as a you vs them situation, but the truth is people are just trying to vibe.

well it's been almost six months which I think is long enough to break my posting embargo, so, uh: guess what! I got liposuction lol. specifically hip/thigh lipo to quell some pretty wicked dysphoria that stemmed from having such a feminine silhouette… and I have to say I'm really, really pleased with the results.
tbh my initial plan was to keep things under wraps for good which is why I haven't said anything about it yet (and even as I'm typing this up I keep debating whether to post it or trash it)—partly because I was/am worried people might Act Weird about it and partly because I get a little embarrassed talking about bodygendershit in general. but here we are. one reason I do feel compelled to finally share, other than being super happy about how everything went, is that I haven't encountered a lot of discussions about body sculpting as a possible avenue of gender-affirming care (although, to be fair, maybe I just haven't been looking in the right places) and I figured at least one person out there would be interested to learn about what I did and where I've ended up so far.
anyway. pics/details under the cut—nothing even remotely risqué (or yucky), I just know that body image stuff is fraught + not everyone is eager to hear surgery talk.
to be precise: I got tumescent liposuction of the inner and outer thigh, plus this ultrasound thing to help the skin shrink. a different surgeon who I consulted (but ultimately did not go with for a number of reasons) said that even if I got the results I wanted from lipo, which he claimed was unlikely, the affected skin would look loose/baggy/weird forever... and that surgeon was wrong on both counts lol. my elasticity was great bitch!!!!
they didn't take out that much fat overall, only eight pounds or so, but it's way more about the Where than the How Much. my actual surgeon (who kicks ass btw) said lipo isn't that great for weight loss per se, and what it's really good for is sculpting targeted areas—so basically exactly what I did. six months post-op I actually weigh about the same as what I did pre-op, but the distribution has held steady; more weight goes to my stomach now and less, proportionally, goes to my hips since there are fewer fat cells in that area now. so my silhouette retains its new shape!
the overall change is admittedly on the subtle side, since I'm pretty short and have wide hip bones (and you can't change your literal skeleton) but it's still gone a looooooong way. the main thing I requested from my surgeon was "I want to fit in men's pants" and boy did he deliver.
also a good place to note that if you're in the las vegas area looking for a plastic and/or cosmetic surgeon—this guy is board-certified in both btw—then I absolutely have the guy for you. feel free to DM me for details. lipo is clearly his specialty (and it shows!) but he also does a lot of breast revisions/mastopexy (i.e., fixing implants that other surgeons did a bad job putting in), regular implants, and face work (particularly facial feminization surgery). one thing that sold me on this guy was an enthusiastic yelp review from a local stripper who said he hid the incisions for her breast lift in her armpits so none of her clients would notice that she'd had work done... a true master of his craft
okay you've scrolled enough so I'll give you what you're here for lol. I don't have many pre-op pics because I was obviously unhappy with how I looked and was not taking full-body selfies on a regular basis, but here's a few I took ~2 weeks beforehand:
these super thin men's joggers were my go-to dysphoria pants, to the point where I bought five pairs in different colors, but now they're so baggy on me that they have the opposite effect and make it look like I have wider hips than I do. so I retired them from my wardrobe...
...except not immediately because I had to wear compression garments 24/7 for the first three months post-op and these joggers were just loose enough to comfortably wear a medical girdle underneath them at all times, 110° degree temperatures be damned. (not that I was going out much for the first month since I was soooooooooooo fucking bruised and sore lol.) here's a few post-op pics in the same style pants:
(first pic is less than 24 hours post-op, about to go to my follow-up appointment, looking greasy as fuck because I wasn't allowed to shower yet; second pic two days post-op and also post-shower, thankfully; third pic is about a month post-op.)
so, like, CLEAR improvement already. I will not be posting pictures of my black-and-blue-and-swollen-all-over legs but considering how puffy I was from getting internally pummeled with a cannula it's wild that I still saw improvement literally as soon as I came home.
recovery was obviously not a blast in the moment but I got off easy, all things considered. I was supposed to get drains put in and was Not looking forward to that at all lol. the first thing I asked when I woke up after surgery was "how many drains?" because they weren't sure if I'd end up needing two or four, but it turned out the answer was zero. no drains!!!
I did have to lie with my feet elevated for the first two weeks straight, and had major bruising that receded over the first month (you could barely see my regular skin underneath all the mottled spots), but little to no nerve pain, no weird complications, and I was more or less back to normal after six weeks. also noelle took very very good care of me and was brave about injecting me with blood thinners so I wouldn't get clots and die :)
when I went into it I was fully expecting to get huge vertical scars up and down the sides of my legs (and had made peace with it!) but instead I wound up with four tiny incisions like this, each less than two inches long:
what's totally crazy is that the scars are basically Gone now. like even when I'm trying to find them I struggle to locate the ones in the front. I joked to noelle that if someone did an autopsy on me they might not figure out that I'd had cosmetic surgery, especially since the skin on my thighs is back to its normal color and texture. (in this scenario I like to imagine that it's dana scully giving me the autopsy and I'm in an x-files plot where instead of regular lipo I got alien lipo and mulder figures it out purely by accident.)
with lipo it can take up to a year to see the full results but I already feel so much fucking better in my body that seeing old pre-op pics throws me for a loop. and I can absolutely wear men's pants now—pants for short and stocky men, to be fair, but actual regular men's pants and not exclusively Pants For Men With Huge Butts And Legs. which is the only style I could even hope to fit in before. and even then it was a stretch.
big pic dump of shitty mirror selfies taken over the last few months:
:)
(also I really debated sharing this one but I already included it in the yelp review I left my surgeon so fuck it: here's a tasteful before-and-after in my undies where you can see my bare legs for easier comparison. left pic is one week pre-op, right pic is about five months post-op. including it as a link instead of embedding it in the post in case your boss happens to be reading over your shoulder at this very moment. also this is the one and only time you will ever see me stripped down on tumblr dot com so don't get used to it lol.)

NSFW Alphabet with Jonathan Crane Headcanon list; [Nolanverse!Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow x reader]
Contents and warnings: Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow is a villainous character with a not so nice personality, so please keep in mind that the content ahead can get dark and uncomfortable. The reader is mostly gender neutral, ocassional afab specific sex practices, Anal sex, Unhealthy relationship, psychological powerplay, emotional dominance, dubcon/noncon, degradation, pregnancy scare, slight sexist language, stalking, threesome fantasy, brief mention of lactation kink, intrusion of privacy, drugs, undermining of autonomy, role play If you’re sensitive to, squicked out, or triggered by any of those contents, these contents generally being unsuitable for your emotional well-being and/or age, please do not read any further! You have been warned!
➸ A = Aftercare (what they’re like after sex) If you're a hookup, Jonathan is a deluxe jerk. Rolls off, showers, is surprised why you're still here. Get out, he has work tomorrow (or terrorizing Gotham in the next half hour, if he has the energy left).Even if he's smitten by you/at the beginning of a relationship with him, the best you can hope for is an post-coital smoke. And then he pushes you off the bed.
In an established relationship, Jonathan can and will do better. While still needing to learn thinking of anyone but himself, he will quickly wash up, the let you cuddle. After care will be more a clinical routine but when he notices how shaken you are after especially rough sessions, his voice will get lower and cooing, kissing your temple.
➸B = Body part (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s) Bullying left Jonathan still a bit uneasy with his body. He does engage so much with intellectual activities, mostly engages in fitness mainly because because that's the medically correct thing for a healthy mind. But he prefers thinking more of a neat appearance rather than his body per se. By times he thinks he needs to gain some mass, or is extra picky with his suits, wanting to look more proportionate. He guesses he likes that his face turned out handsome. At least quiet a lot people who flirt with him compliment him for it. His hair isn't too bad either, at least a cut can give it a good shape.
For Jonathan's partner: Their eyes and neck. So much can be read fromthe eyes, the gate to the soul. Excitement, judgement, happiness, interest, calm, sleepiness, unease... fright, or adoration. Neck because he can grip it during sex or put on some cute collars or necklaces as gifts for you.
➸ C = Cum (anything to do with cum, basically) As we spoke of necklaces, Jonathan likes you wearing pearl necklaces~ When he cums on you, you still licking up the rest of the cum, that makes you look like the perfect little sub always eager to get all of their dom they can. His cum tasted a bit metallic, it can run thin when his workload gets too much. Prepare some fruits for him as daily snacks, it will automatically improve the taste and consistency.
Likewise he loves, loves licking you clean when you came. You're his, all his, so he can keep your taste a bit more on his tongue.
CW for mindgames during sex, prenancy scare, unprotected sex, dubcon Whereas not really into the idea of becoming a father, Jonathan loves to sometimes threat-play that he's going to knock you up, speaking out fantasies of the milk he would lick off from your titts, how daddy will make you a pretty mommy. He only does that when he didn't put on a condom because the uncertainty of any accident makes you nervous. Only actually cums in you when you're on your period, birth control, or when doing anal.
Doesn't mind you cumming on him, prefers cum on his thigh if you, desperate for his attention, rubbed yourself on him. Cumming on his chest is good as well.
➸ D = Dirty secret Fantasizes about many taboo scenarios with you: You if you were his college student begging to not fail classes. Non-consensual scenarios if you were strangers (especially with Jonathan as a superior abusing his power). You too drugged to disagree. You falling in love with the Scarecrow whereas you're clueless about his secret identity and you'd fall in love with both. Hey, why not fantasize about you in the middle of Jonathan and the Scarecrow? Oh, what about him taking you against your will in the Scarecrow outfit, without you knowing that it's him? Many ideas he can safely channel into role plays, making it all a little exciting.
Also loves the idea to have you in full sub lifestyle. Actually doesn't follow through because Jonathan wants more from a relationship than sex. Some one he can have intellectual debates with, engage in common activities. But the idea of putting you in skimpy clothing in your home, ready and needy whenever he feels like dominating...
At some point he coherces/subtly directs you to buy clothing and lingerie he likes to see you wearing.
➸ E = Experience (how experienced are they? do they know what they’re doing?) Moderate to advanced. Probably Jonathan wasn't exactly everyone's favourite guy in college either but away from bullies, away from a repressive, strictly religious childhood home, out of his ugly little duckling transformation, it was the time to experiment. Well, how wouldn't the guy on top of the class, slight arrogant attitude with that face, and these eyes getting his fair share? Since his arrogance and inconsideration cause either freeze or fight in another person, Jonathan is more used to little reissistance by his partner. Whereas he does love submissive partners in bed, in a relationship he needs to get told about as well as used to his partner's demands. Also needs the intellectual stimulant to deal with disagreement, and the normalcy of domestic life.
➸ F = Favorite position (this goes without saying) (Anything where you're helplessly bondaged.) Doggy style is nice because he can go deep, maybe pull his partner upright in his lap for them to do the work. Legs bent above his partner's head to reach even deeper. As counterintuitive as it sounds, Jonathan enjoys going down on their partner, mostly them laying half upright, relaxing under his tongue. Another thing he's proud about being good at. By times likes when his partner does anal on him. Likes to be taken from behind , the rest is a bit irrelevant.
➸ G = Goofy (are they more serious in the moment? are they humorous? etc.) Jonathan doesn't have a single humorous bone in his entire body, even less so during sex. You getting cheeky it is just the perfect opportunity to discipline you later.
➸ H = Hair (how well groomed are they? does the carpet match the drapes? etc.) At most Jonathan shaves is his balls, a little bit of the area around his genitals for better blowjobs. Sine he grooms himself according to his high social status, he does the same to his nether regions. The hair down there is more curly but due to the grooming perfectly soft. Some hairs are auburn between the dark brown ones.
➸ I = Intimacy (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect) Took a bit of work to get there although love making isn't too rare with Jon. After all, he went through a terrible childhood deprived of affection, kindness and safety. A romantic relationship is a compensation for Jonathan. Someone he can get hugged by, pampered a bit, give affection to and receive affection from, a place, a person who will mean comfort and a structured life. When he means to earnestly cultivate a relationship with his partner he really wants them and himself to commit to a shared intimacy none else can get from the other. Even during rougher sessions, Jonathan likes to keep eye contact, for checking, observing, examining how his partner reacts. Even kisses your temple, liking to assure you that he knows best how to take care of you. In a long term relationships, cuddling after sex can get sweet without being saccharine. Jonathan will then cradle you, running his fingers through your hair, and likes to exchange some sweet little nothings. Likes when you massage his scalp. Even such a clever, ever curious brain needs some relaxation.
➸ J = Jack off (masturbation headcanon) Not kidding, jacks off when celebrating something important in his life. Got his PhD title? Indulgent jack-off sesssion. Scored a date with someone he really desires? Indulgent jack-off session. Payraise? Jacking off. On casual weeks, when not in a relationship he does it maybe once or twice, mostly out of habit.
In a relationship, when he either feels like it or wakes up with a boner, Jonathan just grabs you. Why do it himself if you're right there? When you're out of town or reach for a while, he will repress the urge but get you to do phone sex as soon as possible. To have some extra backup for his jerk off session.
➸ K = Kink (one or more of their kinks) This man is so, so, so kinky. The list of his kinks is non exhaustive. ✧Choking. Quiet controlled since he had to take some anatomy classes for his pharmaceutical qualification. Knows exactly how far he can go. ✧Definitely dominant, if not sadistic by time. Will cultivate your submissive streak into full bloom so he can entirely dominate your sessions. When you get to fuck into Jonathan, Jonathan still powerbottoms and directs you in your actions. ✧Degradation, of course. This man has an ego big enough for an appartement complex. ✧Dirty talk. While a bit awkward at first, you have to get used to Jonathan's habit of using cultured, academic vocabulary. Don't be duped through, Jonathan can conjure scenarios of the smuttiest filth possible, capable of talking very crudely. Likes to hear himself talk, talking about himself - by g-d he's so creative and dirty, sometimes you almost cum by the images Jonathan conjures alone. ✧Free use: For you that means that really have to be avaible whenever Jonathan has untamable urges. Maybe makes exception when you have to cook or do some manual labour which requires attention, are on deadlines but if you can take breaks inbetween... why not use your breaks for him? For Jonathan free use means that he will happily receive a blowjob anytime, or will have you beg for him touching or you dry humoing him for attention. ✧ A big fan of role play. Honestly, the man has an entire mental catalogue of taboo or risqué fantasy scenarios (him a priest, you a chaste num, you a college grad begging for a better grade you'll need to really work for, you a patient who's boundaries he violates, him as a judge who gets corrupted by the desperate defendant...). Gets you into acting these out. CNC are often an element of them. ✧Intoxication. No need for hard drugs although he has had sex on an LSD-induced trip during college. Sometimes, when the mood is right being a bit tipsy together makes the warmth of the other more blissful. Lighter drugs are ok too, Jonathan's convinced he has mastered the dosage. Likes to slip in aphrodisiacs too when both of you have no appointments coming up on the next day. Once used, with your consent, sleeping pills to try out somnophilia and dubcon kinks. Jonathan does dabble with the idea of trying out his anxiety inducing toxins but the idea of him terrifying you raises resistance in him. After all, he adores you, wants to share a home he didn't have as a child. ✧Toys. (See T for toys.) ➸ L = Location (favorite places to do the do) For someone with control freak tendencies, Jonathan enjoys the thrill of maybe getting caught. Mostly he does check the surroundings well enough to know what to do in order to not get caught. At home, bed, couch, shower, bathtub, sofa, armchair, maybe table top, all stable surfaces are game. But his office, or the car is also an option. And if the weather and Jonathan's mood align, on a day of heavy rain he will pull in an abandoned alleyway or tunnel to give you head or take you from behind.
➸ M = Motivation (what turns them on, gets them going) Jonathan is a lapsed catholic, it's not too complicated to wake his arousal. While more a fan of doing it with a stable partner, people showing some kind of submissiveness wake his interest. (It doesn't matter how they behave in public, as long as he can sense that they're probably sexually submissive...) In private, when you admit that you're sexually needy, he lets stew a bit, he already knows what's happening in the next 10 minutes. Oh yeah, and because Jonathan is an egocentric prick, he does fall for people he finds attractive and give him (scientifically informed) compliments for his work.
➸ N = No (something they wouldn’t do, turn offs) Whereas experimental, Jonathan won't do anything inflicting physical or psychologically impactful or even long lasting/permanent damage. Will also only ever use methods or toys he knows how to use. Bodily fluids are limited to saliva, tears, breastmilk, and cum. Stops when you use your safeword or begin panicking/hyperventilate. After the session he does ask you if you'd like to try it again. If you decidedly tell him that you would not want to do that ever again, he will drop it.
Jonathan enjoys compliments about his intellectual accomplishments but remains a bit squirmy when anything physical but his eyes gets complimented.
➸ O = Oral (preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.) For such an egocentric man, it's a bit of a surprise but he likes to dish out as much as he likes to be served. A pretty 50-50-situation in terms of giving and receiving. If not giving a bit more than receiving.For one, Jonathan genuinely likes giving oral. Likes to hear how good he is. Has to be said that he earned his praise for what he does with lips, tongue and fingers.
Eats a balances diet (studied a lot about the human body for his pharmacological direction) so his penis and cum taste good.
➸ P = Pace (are they fast and rough? slow and sensual? etc.) While loving the game-aspect of fore- or roleplay, making it all sensual, Jonathan is normally a bit more rough and dominating. Wants you to remember who touched you. Yet, doing things slowly, in an erotic manner isn't rare for him either. Takes his time to kiss and exploring his partner's body.
➸ Q = Quickie (their opinions on quickies, how often, etc.) Barely does or likes it. Jonathan likes to take his time, enjoys the attention directed towards him, making his partner quiver and whimper. Might grab you when he's agitated but even then sessions go for longer.
➸ R = Risk (are they game to experiment? do they take risks? etc.) From an outsider's perspective Jonathan's experimental, from his own perspective, he's acting within a natural, well controlled environment. Kinks are natrual parts of sexuality, they just need to be in snych with a partner's liking. Fancies himself knowledgeable enough about the human mind and body to explore the things he wishes to explore. Also thinks that he knows how to master and organize a room/environment so that even more public spaces are safe for sexual encounters. Jonathan has lot of confidence in his use of drugs, surroundings, toys, etc. whereas in actuality, reality might be more shrouded...
➸ S = Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?) Pretty good. Can go for about 3 rounds a day. If you were separated for longer, Jonathan can gor for 4 rounds in a row. On some free days you probably had more sex than meals.(Not in a sex god way but more in a very horny, lazy sunday way.)
➸ T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?) Has dictated which ones he allows you to use, also likes to see how you tease yourself with them while he watches you and is seemingly unfazed. For himself, Jonathan also uses some toys like a little vibrating egg, or anal beads. If you're in need for one, he got a strap on for you to use on him.
➸ U = Unfair (how much they like to tease) This is the king of foreplay. Can make you cum only by foreplay if he wants to. Remember, Jonathan likes his dearest somewhat at his whim, and if they're needy, they're more eager to please to make sure he will give them what they want from him. So he might speak in innuendos or say something shockingly raunchy in a mater-of-fact tone that makes your libido spike from 0 to 110%. When you approach him with your horniness, Jonathan is cruel enough to make you wait until he reacts to your advances.
➸ V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.) Can control his volume, but usually quiet vocal. Grunts lowly and breathes heavily while in public/semi-public spaces and puts a hand on your mouth to keep you quiet. Might whisper some absolute filth into your ear though. In private, Jonathan moans, sighs, talks dirty, even growls while cumming. Likes to hear how loud he can make you moan...
➸W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character) The cross necklace stays on during sex. Ironically has a pretty healthy relationship towards sex. To elaborate: The actual unsavoury aspect about a relationship with him is the emotional aspect of him needing to some extent dominate, and control his partner. But when it comes to sexuality, Jonathan in knowledgable enough about psychology and sexuality that he's not judgemental about kinks, preferences, and sexual diversity. (Diversity win, the mad scientist is chill about sexuality....)
➸ X = X-ray (let’s see what’s going on under those clothes) A pretty cock. A bit above average, a bit wider gridth than usual, has a rose pink tip, and sleek surface. Simply lovely to look at. Feels very good in your mouth.
➸ Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?) He grew up Catholic. After he moved out of his grandmothers, all free to do as he pleased, Jonathan lives out all his repressed sexual guilt and teenage horniness. Jonathan does like to think of himself as refined enough, enjoys seduction, and creativity in the bed, and thinks a bit too clincally about kinks and sexual needs to act like a horny teenager but... boy, once he gets his hands on someone, Jonathan will try out everything they're both willing to do. You pick him up from work? Let's explore the thrill of getting caught in the office. Dinner on boring charity- or pharma-company meetings? Let's try not getting caught while he fingers you under the table. You just came back from work and want to shower? Jonathan will be the sweet boyfriend who helps you wash - just to get you dirty all over again.
➸ Z = Zzz (how quickly they fall asleep afterwards) Depends on the time of day. in the morning or if he needs to finish some work at home, Jonathan cuddles for a bit, then gets back up to work. If you've sex in the late evening, waits until you fall asleep first or are sleepy enough to not likely get up again. Likes to sleep with you together.

I have a complex conversational relationship with my reaction to the way women look in media. As with most human attitudes, it's this mix of what I consider justifiable issues driven by societally narrow ways of depicting women, mixed in with reactionary knee jerk flinch-reactions that I have to seeing character designs that I percieve as 'forcing me to be feminine'. This last isn't at all rational, female characters that are masculine in some respects but feminine in others are not inherently against female masculinity. Someone drawing a character I percieve as a butch lesbian as thinner, daintier, softer and shier than I think of them is not an inherrently bad thing on it's own. But it feels horrible, it triggers a lot of anger and defensive contempt in me that the artist would not deserve directed their way. Most particularly because my perceptions of masculinity cannot always be trusted, smaller facial features are not necessarily feminine, my love of big, square and bold face shapes could draw me into racial stereotypes etc
AND YET... it is still definitely a not-insignificant trend for big and unfeminine female characters to be made smaller and more 'conventionally feminine' by fanartists, interpreters and subsequent media. It is also a trend for masculine-like women in franchises to be 'feminised' using some character trait. Cassandra and Aveline from Dragon Age come immediately to mind, being both the only women in all the games I can think of who could be called masculine, whilst also made straight and painted with this strange romantic naivete, coming off more as 'they failed at femininity' rather than their masculinity being a part of their identity that they express by choice. Honest to god it makes those games so hard to enjoy, media in general! Cus it is also true that, whilst there is nothing wrong with 'badass woman who has short hair and has some muscle definition but still wears makeup and has a boyfriend', it is still the only portrayal of female masculinity any media seems willing to explore these days. Which in turn makes it feel like the only expression of masculinity I am allowed, and that creates this sensation of caging that makes me want to lash out.
It's gotten to the point where I have an instinctual desire to ignore characters that are 'normal bodied' and 'normal gendered' if that makes sense. Not in the way that there is a normal body or gender, but in the way that, in the cultures I am exposed too, there is a very specific body shape and gender expression that is considered the 'strict norm' for women and everytime I see it it leaves me feeling hollow and resentful. And this gender isn't actually even really 'feminine' per se, female characters that are 'too feminine' are roundly hated too, there's like a null gender that female characters have to express in order to be tolerated by the stereotyped 'male viewer'. But this reaction of mine is still made up of both real issues and unjustified flinch reactions and it's hard to parse them in any way other than recognising what's happening and dealing with it internally or with friends who understand.
Like a lot of reactions that have origins in living in a society that is hostile to me, but is being in the moment triggered by just encountering something banal; 'this female character makes me angry just for existing' has gotta remain an inside thought.

On the poll, I agree with you and I'm glad someone said it. Maybe its the inner skeptic in me but if you can't get to a take on J+P without unconfirmed song lyric interpretation then the take is weak. It's annoying as well because even without combing through ambiguous lyrics there's still good evidence of an overwhelming (potentially romantic) love on John's part as well as an overwhelming love on Paul's part (just because the evidence leans to it being platonic doesn't make it lesser gah). Their dynamic was crazy insane enough without having to add fantasy onto it.
oh man. the amount I agree with you right now. Especially this part: "if you can't get to a take on J+P without unconfirmed song lyric interpretation then the take is weak"
Which doesn't mean it's false, per se.
I actually think you can build an incredibly shaky case from Paul's side, based on the few times he talked about his relationship to John like a marriage. To be clear: I think there's essentially platonic reasons to invoke that image because of the way society doesn't exactly make space or have terms for very high-commitment platonic bonds like John and Paul potentially had. But taking the comments more or less at face value is valid as well.
Evidence for sexuality overall plays a role here. You can make an incredibly strong case that John was meaningfully attracted to men while completely taking Paul out of the equation. This fact makes taking his romantically-tinged but overall ambiguous statements about Paul in an explicitly romantic way feel less presumptuous. On the other hand, there is extremely little evidence for Paul not being straight outside certain things he said about John – whether that's because he is in fact straight or because he's kept it to himself all these years, I don't know, but not taking his word for it when nothing major indicates he's lying/in denial just feels kind of contrarian at best and rude at worst.* Thus, I have little reason, in Paul's case, to assume his romantically-tinged but overall ambiguous statements were meant that way.
Regarding the songs: in the end, artistic license exists and Paul and John were, let's face it, pretty vague writers for the most part, in the sense they aren't dropping tons of clues in the lyrics indicating who the muse might be.
Even a song like Call Me Back Again, which I do think is about John, seems that way 1) because of the mellotron flutes (though if I'm honest [with myself as well], associating the instrument Paul played on a John song with John specifically is a little dubious) and 2) because he references the person being from his childhood and no longer talking to him and 3) the way the song fits the timeline to the best of our knowledge.
Again, I want to reiterate: I do tend to believe John was the inspiration for Call Me Back Again. But there's no detail in the lyrics describing what John looks like or his occupation or something specific about him aside from the childhood connection.
And then, even if I accept this song is about John, artistic license makes it hard to conclude more than "Paul missed John at this point" which we basically already know anyways.
*Paul isn't the best at expressing himself, but a lot of quotes people take as evidence are him talking more about gendered expectations he felt. For some reason the fandom is incredibly dismissive of these or appropriates them as purely about sexuality.

Can I just say the storyboards for Step Into the Great Unknown highlight even further what the song itself was already highlighting. Because the song is basically just each member of the gang one by one deciding to commit to finding Candace.
It starts with Phineas, he's been Candace's little brother literally his whole life. We see the most of their relationship. There is very little that fazes him, and he wears his heart on his sleeve. He adores his older sister and would go to the ends of the earth without hesitating for her. He's an inspirational type of leader, so he tends to be the one to provide the gang direction and encouragement when they start showing doubts and that's exactly what he does here. The one who kind of lays out the situation to the gang but also is the first to affirm he's going anyway.
And then Ferb. He's been Candace's little brother for years now too at this point, and of course he stands by Phineas for most things. But this movie does show that Ferb cares just as much about Candace in his own way, with what he chooses to say and the affection Candace gives him. He's a man of action so he demonstrates his position by quietly joining in the dance. And Ferb is almost always on Phineas's side, but while Phineas is defined by being completely unfazed by nearly everything, Ferb DOES get fazed by more than Phineas, though less than the rest of the gang. He's generally cautious about supernatural threats as such, so unknown threats would be something that are more likely to give him pause even if they aren't supernatural per se, and we've seen him avoid Candace before due to this aversion. But aside from that aversion he is usually as unfazed as Phineas. Of course he wouldn't leave either of his siblings hanging.
And then Isabella joins in the song. The girl across the street. Who has also known Candace for a long time. Literally future sister-in-laws, but already basically sisters. Isabella and Candace sort of have a relationship built on mutual understanding. They occasionally talk together about crushes, and team up when a situation is gender specific. Candace is one of Isabella's fireside girls. Of course Isabella would join. She's said no to Phineas about dangerous things before, but only rarely. When someone they care about is on the line, there's no way. She's as tough and doesn't hesitate to put herself in danger unless there is literally no reason to. Candace is more than enough reason to. For this she'll follow Phineas to the end of the universe, and take the lead if she has to.
Buford and Baljeet are the last to join. They've only been part of the gang since this summer. So they're the most hesitant. And I do think when it comes to personal safety they are a bit more sensitive (see Buford freaking out NOTLP, Baljeet being paralyzed by indecision in Primal Perry, Buford freaking out about Baljeet's safety in the Beak... those two are the most prone to panic in general). But when push comes to shove on something as important as saving the tri-state area, or rescuing Candace, they're in on it too. They don't really WANT to deal with all this scary stuff... but to them the alternative of not going along isn't an option either.
All of these kids love Candace so much. She may be obsessed with getting her brothers caught, but in the process she's become big sister to all 5 of them. I've said it before I'll say it again. I LOVE the sense of community in the series.
And it's so uncommon for the kids to be nervous about something. So the fact that they are nervous does help raise the stakes a bit. And Phineas has to muster all of his leadership to say hey: This will be scary, you don't have to come but I can't just leave her. And the other kids going. Yeah well. Not without us.
They just all care about each other so much.
#also buford referencing quirky worky#pnf#phineas and ferb#candace against the universe#backyard gang#I do have an in process analysis of all the individual duo dynamics of the backyard gang#but that's like 20 sections long and I'm obscenely busy right now#or I was obscenely busy when I wrote this post#I procrastinated on posting it#i will forever be mad that this song was cut#I mean I get it but it was one of my favorite songs from the soundtrack

Hi, I really appreciate your points on Madoka! Thank you for providing that insight that is so desperately needed! Because I am so sick of dudebros acting like it's better than female-empowering Magical Girl works aimed at girls, or how whenever I or somebody else critiques the storytelling and message we just get told "Madoka is perfectly feminist actually and if you don't think so then you're just too stupid to understand how DEEEEEEEP it is go back to your stupid sweet and fluffy anime that's for GUUUUURLS" or alternatively "oh so female characters can't ever suffer ever and have to be happy all the time ever or it's misogynistic trash?!?!?!?! check and mate bitch" like I am just so tired. I'm glad to see your posts even though some of them are quite old. I have to say thank you once again for your genuine critique of Madoka because at this point I feel like I'm being punked whenever I talk about what's wrong with it.
Sorry! I saw this earlier and completely forgot to answer!
My few posts have given me a reputation as a Madoka hater (and, fair enough, because I certainly don't blame anyone who is. Please hate Madoka all you like). The truth is I really do like the original show quite a bit, but YEAH.
YEAH.
I think the thing that gets most exhausting for me, over and over, is bringing up these criticisms and being told, "No! Because Madoka fixed all that!" and even ignoring Rebellion (which I am inclined to do anyway), the girls still die.
They die.
The happy ending is a montage of girls dying. Which is a happy ending only because what they were getting before (specifically as a consequence of choosing to be a magical girl) was a fate worse than death.
And it's worth noting how the incubators are portrayed. They aren't portrayed as malicious. They aren't "evil" in that sense. What they are is practical and indifferent. They are taking advantage of inherent factors in the universe, not creating those factors.
Which means that there's something about PMMM that is saying, this is reality. At least in this fiction, this is the reality of femininity. And it is inherent to femininity! Kyubey even explains - it's weird! But only teen girls are like this! That's why we use them!
I think it's fair to be like, hey, that's fucked up. What kind of gender essentialist fatalism? Bro?
And it's also just denial to pretend it isn't about fanservice or a male audience.
As anyone who's been on my blog recently will know, I'm kinda super into Love Live! right now. It's cute. It scratches an itch.
And there's a lot of plausible deniability built into it, and a lot of pushback from English speaking fandom about it, but, uh, Love Live! is an idol game but it's also a waifu collector.
It's also a catalogue of nonthreateningly sexual anime teenage girls specifically designed to appeal first and foremost to lonely awkward Japanese young working men with disposable income.
And, idk, knowing that doesn't impede my ability to find it cute and wholesome and fun and escapist. The fact that it is that does lead to some of creative decisions that make the series less fun for me (it's not very diverse, for example. The yuri elements are subtext for another. And I either wish the girls were less sexualized or older, personally). But I'm not going to deny what it is.
I'm not even particularly interested in shaming the men its aimed at for liking it, or shaming the creators for making it that way per se (well, okay, sometimes I am interested in shaming the creators a lil bit). But I do think most the things about it that read as feminist to me as an American read that way because I am so far outside the original intended subculture. And I think the same is true about Madoka. You can absolutely read feminist messages in it. I certainly do. But placing these works in their original contexts tells a very different much more... regressive? picture. They were not made for women and girls. They are not made to uplift women and girls. They CAN! And they DO! Both in Japan and elsewhere! But that's anywhere from (at best) a secondary market to (at worst) a complete accident.
It's hard for some people to wrap their heads around because in America at least I think the idea of a "cute" (even if that's subverted in Madoka) media starring a large cast of only girls being for men is pretty alien to how we do stories and marketing. Here we understand playboy magazines and swimsuit editions, but we don't understand men collecting merch of a cute fictional girl they like. It would be seen as emasculating.
We understand the reverse. We get that boy bands and anime like Free! can be aimed squarely at women while being comprised entirely of men or male characters. Which is part of why I'm not shaming the male audiences, because... desiring anime tiddy isn't inherently predatory anymore than a lady desiring anime ass. And that's a crass way of putting it anyway. We don't frame hanging a boy band poster up that way, or playing a game like Mystic Messenger. It becomes more complicated because we live in a complicated patriarchal structure that protects and empowers men and women differently and unequally, but that seems like a poor reason to try to tell individual men they aren't allowed to enjoy things in a way that is obviously natural and parallels how... most humans like to enjoy some things sometimes.
But that also doesn't mean we can't look at those broad cultural patterns and... make observations. And have criticisms. And talk about how it affects people, and the back and forth between media and culture.
But, Madoka is for men first. The girls' suffering is a form of male gaze, and pretty unambiguously a kind of very very softcore torture porn for male gamer types. That's not a judgment against it, that's just its literal intended share of the market. It's a pretty easy read if you understand the context in which it was released and the culture it is coming from and catering to. My Little Pony is a little girls toy franchise. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sells toys to boys. Home & Gardens is for housewives. Top Gear is for car dads. These are true even if other people like them. When an adult fan of children's cartoons (I say, as an adult fan of children's cartoons) tries to say, "But it's not really a kids cartoon!" I feel about the same way I do when a feminist fan of some clearly male-centric media says, "But it's not really!"
And that's - own your shit. Own it. It's fine. It's fine to like it. It's fine to love it. It's fine if it means the world to you. It doesn't mean there's something wrong with you if you like a media that maybe isn't the most mature or progressive masterpiece out there. Just don't pretend there's no validity in obvious criticism. I love some real garbage made by real garbage people. I have survived.
Madoka exists in a fictional universe where the laws of that fictional universe are that 1) girls are uniquely emotional, 2) that emotion and their own aspirations can easily be harnessed against them in such a way that in the best possible universe all it does it kill them. In the normal universe it turns them into evil witches. That's just true. That's the world. I'm allowed to look at that, especially in conversation with magical girl media that came before, and go, "you know what? in that context, that's pretty fucked up" and it doesn't even mean that I stop liking the show, so I don't see why everyone else has to get so defensive about it.
(Y'all have no idea. Those posts are old now, but I got so many asks. I had to block so many people. I'm not trying to take your precious anime away calm down.)
Idk if I completely agree with the tone of my original posts - there's a little bit of offhanded vilifying of "men" as a shorthand for... all the bullshit... and I no longer love that language. I love men. Men are people. Some men can be shitty, but shitty individual men and patriarchy aren't the same. But I do still agree with all my broad points.
Plus, yes, also. The thing of a new (often male) fanbase getting into something you've been into for a long time with some new entry and acting like it both invented and fixed everything about the genre (PMMM and magical girls, Friendship is Magic and girl cartoons, Stardew Valley and farming sims) is frustrating, and to hear many an incurious nerd tell it, magical girls were floundering before Madoka! And I hate that.
Anyway, oops, I went on a little rant. That still makes it look like I don't like Madoka. I actually really do like the original series. I have rewatched it multiple times and probably will again. I even tried to play Magia Record (briefly - I couldn't really get into it). I can't speak to the many many spinoff media - but those have so many different writers and so much different lore that I think it'd probably be hard to try to pin any kind of single ethos to the franchise as a whole any more. But while I couldn't get into Magia Record I'd bet there's a short manga story or something that I'd love at this point. When you make like 200 magical girls or whatever that's bound to happen.
Thanks for the ask. Sorry Madoka fans are still so hyper defensive apparently. I hope you are able to survive them and find some better magical girl series out there. <3

nsfw headcanons @konohadaddies requested: beg — do they like making their partner(s) beg? do they like begging their partner?
ㅤBeing the master manipulator he is, in and out of the genjutsu arts, Itachi definitely knows how to beg very prettily and very convincingly. He knows what to say, how to say it, and is very talented at putting up a perfectly innocent/needy expression and even to throw in pouty lips and fluttering eyelashes if need be (and lbr his eyelashes are a weapon in and of itself). It is something he enjoys doing, because it indirectly builds on his constant need for control - it feels kind of like a power high, to realize he has the ability to get his partner to do what he wants by simply asking/begging them to do it (provided all parts involved are willing and consenting, of course!).
ㅤThe other way around, i.e., making his partner beg, doesn't happen as often - not really because he doesn't enjoy it, rather because he is quite submissive during intimacy and being the one begging comes more naturally to him. Nonetheless, he can also be an absolute little shit - and, in these circumstances, he will certainly enjoy his partner begging him to stop the goddamn teasing and move things along, for example.
~~~~~
body — what is their favorite body part of theirs? of their partner(s)'? are there any specific body parts they like to pay special attention to (ex. feet, hands, ass, etc)? where are their erogenous zones? where are they most sensitive?
ㅤUhhh Itachi doesn't really have a favorite body part of his own. There are parts he uses a lot for seduction, such as his eyes and his hands/fingers and his mouth/lips, but they are a means to an end more than something he stops to give much attention to, so to speak.
ㅤAs for his partner, he does love a beautiful and attractive chest, irrespective of the partner's gender. Because a chest makes for a wonderful pillow! And allows for wonderful snuggles, too. He also tends to be very attracted to nice and shapely thighs, again irrespective of gender and also irrespective of something like body weight. Pretty thighs come in all shapes and sizes. Something else he loves to gaze at is his partner's smile and their eyes.
ㅤDuring intimacy, he doesn't necessarily focus on a specific area or spot, unless he knows his partner is particularly sensitive there and enjoys being stimulated there. Otherwise, he spreads attention among the most usual areas such as chest, belly, thighs, etc. One semi-related thing he does love to do is taking his time to map out the contour and shape of his body's partner and to memorize every little detail - like tracing their ribs, feeling the lines of their jaw, following the path of their spine, etc.
ㅤAs for erogenous zones, in general, he is very sensitive on his neck and the end of his back, and these two areas are definitely quick and sure ways to get him going. Also, he is big fan of having his partner placing their hands on his hips - not as much as being sensitive there, but because the gesture is very intimate and feels very comfortable to him. Likewise, he is big fan of his partner casually having an arm wrapped around his waist, for example when they're outside going for a walk together.
~~~~~
dirty talk — are they turned on by dirty talk? turned off by dirty talk? is there anything they like their partner(s) to appeal to when talking dirty with them?
ㅤItachi is a dirty talk elitist lmao. In the sense that common expressions like you're so hot, you make me so hard/wet tend to leave him extremely unimpressed. In fact, if you tell him something low-effort like you're so hot, there is a high chance you're gonna be answered back with a sassy thank you, i'm aware.
ㅤWhich isn't to say he does not appreciate dirty talk, per se, but it has to be done right. It has to be ingenious, preferably, and above all, it has to be meaningful and heartfelt. Something that speaks to him, particularly, rather than something that can be tossed at just anybody. And something that works really well with him, actually, is to make the talk about the reactions he's displaying - because it shows his partner is paying attention to, and enjoying, said reactions that they're provoking in him. Your compliment made him blush? Point it out and talk dirty about it. You touched him somewhere that made him squirm or whimper? Point it out and talk dirty about it. You can feel how worked up he's getting with everything you're doing to him? Point it out and talk dirty about it. Give him facts and "proof" that you are entirely devoted to being there with him, at that moment, doing all those things, and that will surely make him melt.
ㅤAs for himself, he is really not one to use dirty talk. One, because his strict upbringing makes it not sit well with him. But, essentially, because Itachi is someone who works much more on a show, don't tell basis - be it during intimacy/sex or during his general life. More than talking dirty, there is a myriad other things he can use his mouth for in seducing/pleasuring his partner. Nonetheless, there are some occasions when he'll toss in a cheeky remark about the effect he is having on his partner.
~~~~~
kink — what are their kinks? do they have a primary kink? are there any kinks they'd be interested in trying? are there any kinks they don't like or aren't interested in trying?
Already answered [here]!
~~~~~
marks — do they like being marked? do they like marking their partners?
ㅤYes to both! Not in the sense of i marked you because I own you/you belong to me, because Itachi really does not appreciate being objectified nor objectifying others, but in the sense of said marks being lasting proof of what happened during that lovemaking/make-out session.
ㅤIt's a sort of badge of honor, so to speak. It's visual story-telling. If he looks at the mirror and sees marks - a bruise where his partner held too tight because they were going reckless with pleasure, a bite mark placed while his partner climaxed, hickeys and other kiss/suck marks all over his neck - he will immediately be reminded of how much he and his partner appreciate each other and how good that lovemaking/make-out was.
ㅤAnd, personally, he has no qualms about other people seeing those marks. Why should he ever be ashamed of the person he loves or of having a healthy and satisfying sex life! Everybody can look at it and deal with it.
~~~~~
wet — do they like bath/shower sex? would they have sex in other bodies of water (pool, lake, ocean, etc)?
ㅤBath/shower is one of Itachi's favorite places for intimacy, actually! Doesn't even have to be real sex, there's just something both inherently erotic and inherently comforting about sharing a bath/shower with his partner. In fact, because he personally does not like feeling sweaty/sticky and usually likes to shower after sex (when it's feasible ofc), this is a win-win situation.
ㅤAs for other bodies of water, he does enjoy it as well but it will depend. He miiiiiiiiiiight do it in a public place, such as a swimming pool or the ocean by a busy beach, though it will take some cunning and perseverance on his partner's end to convince him. If he's alone with his partner somewhere watery and nice, though? Get in that water right now and make love to him, please and thank you.
Film Friday: Ex Machina
Today, I figured it was time to talk a bit about the dynamics of the back half of His Impossible Brushstrokes, and the movie I've chosen to do that does perhaps lead by anti-example a little bit, but I'll get into that when we get there. Today's movie asks two important questions; what happens when a Turing Test gets (emotionally and practically) complicated and is he going to fuck the robot?
Domhnal Gleeson plays Caleb, an everyman programmer who wins an unusual raffle prize, the opportunity to visit his enigmatic tech bro boss, Nathan played by Oscar Isaac. Nathan, however, has a grander plan than hanging out with his underling in his isolated mountain estate. He wants Caleb to turing-test his AI. Ava, played by Alicia Vikander, is a near-human robot that Nathan is keen to determine whether has developed into a humanlike intelligence, true AI, or still is merely a very convincing simulation of the same.
It is a strange task, seemingly by design. Ava has a very humanoid face but is otherwise visibly robotlike, and the very act of calling for a face-to-face Turing test seems doomed to fail. Still, Caleb starts seeing humanity in Ava, and precious little of it in her creator and, arguably, captor Nathan, but the question of who is testing who is still very much an open one and it will remain so until the credits roll.
One thing I really enjoy about Ex Machina is how open it is with many of the questions it deals with and the implications of the same. There is, for example, the question of gender. Nathan admits that he has tailored Ava's design to appeal to Caleb, and it's hardly a stretch to imagine that he similarly has engineered how he presents himself to seem as much of a domineering jailer as possible to push Caleb into wanting to save Ava from him.
There is, of course, also the fact that the latter may arguably be Avas play. She is programmed to want to escape, after all, and some level of deception may be necessary since Nathan holds all the keys and Ava is dependent on outside assistance which Caleb may provide. It's a fascinating movie in that you can read a wide variety of levels of sentience into Ava and her actions. I do not at all feel confident enough on my read of the film to say anything definite, but I will argue that the takeaway may actually be how the entire exercise of determining whether Ava is an intelligence worthy of being a Person or some sort of digital P-Zombie is an act of sophistry, and an argument between Nathan and Caleb that isn't actually about the intelligence in question.
See, Nathan wants Ava to succeed in his test, which isn't as much whether Ava is a truly sapient AI as much as it is whether he can sell that idea sufficiently well to Caleb, but it isn't for intellectual or philosophical reasons, hell, it arguably isn't even for the money. He seems to take perverse glee in setting up the entire scenario upon a foundation of lies, both direct and by implication. Caleb wasn't randomly selected to participate, he was chosen specifically based on harvested data from Nathan's facebook-by-the-way-of-google Bluebook, he was supposed to fall in love with Ava, or at least be sufficiently charmed by her to turn on Nathan, to choose the robot over the human.
What exactly the endgame of this was for Nathan is a bit more unclear as the finale doesn't shake out the way either of the men intended. However, while Caleb may come out of things more in the clear than the profoundly morally icky Nathan, I wouldn't say he's in the clear per se. To his credit, Caleb seems just about as on board with Ava's humanity as one can for a visibly non-human humanlike entity, to the degree where he pulls a Blade Runner and starts wondering whether he, himself, is human.
Unfortunately, if I may phrase things a bit spicily, Caleb doesn't view Ava as a person. He views her as a woman. The jokes about Objectification practically write themselves, but I'm pretty sure that's by design. There is the uncomfortable energy of the Nice Guy to the whole arrangement. Caleb doesn't want to save Ava from Nathan because it's right as much as he wants to save her to be the one who saves her, the knight in shining armor, rewarded for his decency by her adoration, as it were. Look no further than to Nathan's taciturn maid Kyoko who also turns out to be a robot, functioning enough like a human that it took an unmasking of her "human" flesh for Caleb to realize. While this reveal does shake Caleb to his core, it doesn't really change his goals. Kyoko doesn't feature in his plans, so it doesn't matter to him whether she is a person who is a machine or a machine pretending to be a person.
Now, all of this isn't to say Ava's in the clear here either for the record. In fact, I would wager that one of this movie's greatest strengths is the complex question of morality in play. Ava is, as far as we the viewers are concerned, human enough that it'd be absurd to treat her as an experiment like Nathan does, and uncomfortable to treat her like a prize to be won like Caleb does. In the end, she does deceive Caleb by playing into his desire to save her, yes, but it is hard to blame her considering how desperate her situation is. Leaving Caleb behind to die is harsh, I will admit, but it is also one of those decisions that is understandable in the context of Ava's prime goal being getting out of there and staying out of there. For the movie, it's also a very interesting move. Is this last-minute betrayal of the machine, the AI finally revealing itself to be fundamentally inemphatic, or is this a maltreated humanlike intelligence who has decided to take no chances with her one shot at freedom?
In the end, Ex Machina is one of those Sci-Fi stories that stick with me because it isn't just about the relative sapience of this one robot, but how we understand the philosophical existence of others. One could argue, quite successfully I think, that Caleb and Nathan would treat Ava very similarly if she had turned out to be a human brain transplanted into a robot body as they do with her brain being circuits and resistors, and her being a robot is in some ways mostly a convenient way for them to sidestep the question of her agency in the situation. Put plainly, even if Ava was "fully human," however you can define that in a meaningful way, Caleb and Nathan would still objectify her, treat her as less than human in their own ways.
Now, all of this stuff is rather tangential to His Impossible Brushstrokes, but I did take some inspiration from this one in the form of the tension between Nathan and Caleb. The push and pull of who's in charge and who is manipulating who, as well as the unmistakably "Wow both these guys suck in their own way huh"-aftertaste one is left with after interacting with them is very Oscar and Tomasz.
I found examples like Ex Machina pretty useful because it's a good example of "how dudes can be superficially nice and also plotting each other's murder and/or exploitation"-type behavior. It's not a dynamic I'm particularly familiar with myself, but I did find it the right blend of enticing and fucked up for Brushstrokes. Granted, I'm pretty sure neither of Nathan and Caleb particularly wants to have sex with the other, but honestly as a queer author, what are you even doing if you're not writing writing "story we're mostly familiar with except they fuck/don't fuck" on some level?
There is also the fact that Mara would run circles around both of these guys if given a chance and an incentive to do so, but I think it is perhaps for the best that there's no Robo-Mara in Tomasz' cellar, whatever other horrors may lurk there. Now that I think about it, there is also a plot point with self-locking doors in both stories, so that's a fun coincidence.
What do each of your ocs find most attractive in potential partners? (Asking for totally not self invested reasons no not at all) What about potential friends?
Oooh *rubs hands together* buckle up cus this ran long! And thanks for asking c:
Arianwen:
Movement and texture. I think it took her a very long time to identify when she is feeling attracted to someone in general, but Wen likes to watch the way people move. It's not about grace, per se, but skill. So---someone who is skilled at what they're doing physically, whether it's dueling with daggers, swinging a staff, or wringing out the laundry efficiently (yes, really), she is into that. Physically, she's (frankly) a little face-blind, so she doesn't really have particular features or body types that she's into. Also, she's a very tactile person, so anyone with exceptionally soft hair or skin, callused hands, hairy arms, and so on---she'd be into that, too.
As for friendships, I think she values people have a unique and specific view of the world. It's part of why Alistair and Morrigan wind up being her closest friends of all of their little group. Wen respects conviction, even if those convictions are contradictory. I think she's probably best balanced by someone with a plan, but tbh she abhors standing around and talking things through. Someone who can think on their feet and act quickly is ideal, and preferably someone who doesn't try to take care of her too overtly.
(Also, people who are nice to animals. The quickest way to her heart is to compliment Princess, her giant spider/pride and joy. She can't be friends with anyone who is mean about her animals)
Maria:
A sense of humor tops the list for both. If she can't laugh with someone, they won't fit as a friend or a lover; that isn't negotiable. Physically, she finds strong or distinctive features the most intriguing regardless of gender. She also has a thing for hands and forearms (people who have veins visible on either are like. that's her kryptonite. the meme of the girl side-eyeing a guy's pecs, but it's just someone's hand resting on their thigh and the tracery of veins is visible beneath their skin). Ah, and people who are taller than her, but that's...a low bar to clear.
I also think---and I know this doesn't necessarily reflect well on her---that Maria is drawn to people who need her, even if it's just a little. She has a deep-seated need to help people, she likes to feel like she is useful and necessary, and all of her closest friends need help in some way. It's not that she wants them to be indebted to her. She'd be horrified by the thought. Friendship, for her, is being able to act on someone's behalf and trust that if she is in the same situation that they'd do something about her pain in return (if that makes sense).
Elowen:
Elowen is attracted to competence over and above everything else. Anyone who knows what they are doing is her type. Beyond that, she is generally aesthetically attracted to masc people and fighters, but she's been with people who don't firmly fit into either category. Weak spot for pretty eyes.
For friendship, she needs someone who will actually listen to her. She struggles with not feeling heard/not feeling like what she says matters, so someone who will try to understand her is really important. Also---and this is going to sound basic---someone who is kind. I think she would have trouble being vulnerable with someone who isn't overtly kind (which is why she is friends with Josie and not Leliana, for example, even though she respects Leliana greatly). She also finds it easiest to relate to other Dalish elves, because she dedicated so much of her life to being the ideal Second, but that's not a necessity especially once she settles into the Inquisition.
Emmaera:
Emma doesn't really feel attracted to people until she knows them pretty well, but she is generally into people who can keep up with her mind. Someone who is really passionate about something and dedicated to studying/understanding it would catch her eye. Also people who are well-travelled (she has a huuuuge crush on Lace for this very reason). I wouldn't say she has a "type" beyond that because most people just don't register as romantic/sexual partners to her.
Honestly, in a friendship it's going to be mostly the same things. I can't think of anything that differs greatly here, except that she is the kind of person who doesn't like parties at all but does like sitting in a crowd of her friends, quietly and companionably sipping a cider.
Salshira:
Salshira doesn't have a type because she's in love with the world. She finds an extremely broad category of physical traits attractive, and that category shifts depending on where she is and what mood she's in. She finds it more difficult to see someone as a potential sexual partner once she knows them well, with very few exceptions, and she almost never dates or sleeps with other Dalish elves. Other than that, she is marginally more attracted to women than men and more attracted to tall/muscular women in general, and she has a bit of a thing for Qunari women (it's the horns) but...again, it's pretty situational for her. Sex is very recreational for her and romance is an entirely different (complicated, painful) story.
As far as friends go, she likes people who can tell a good story, people who will laugh with her, and people who won't push her too hard for personal information. She doesn't trust easily; she's the poster child of "deflect and joke and nobody will notice you haven't said a word about how you are." She's here for a good time, not a long time (or so she says, at least; the way she hangs onto the friends she does have proves that this is a lie). Salshira could get along with just about everyone, so long as they aren't trying to help her or pry into her feelings.
#thanks again lilou <3#i was thinking about this all through that second flight yesterday just had to find the right words#arianwen tabris#maria hawke#elowen lavellan#emmaera lavellan#salshira lavellan#ask response#oc ask response#listen if salshira and maria ever met it would be the wildest party ever#and then salshira would book because maria cannot leave well enough alone#i also think actually that arianwen would be into elowen. she's my most graceful lavellan#and she climbs for fun so she's got great arms#i have thought extensively about which of them would be into each other actually. not that we need to get into that now#(as friends and/or romantic partners tbc)
Okay, here we go, I have thought about this way too much. The premise for my modern au is that Llewellyn + friends are taking a gap year after graduating high school. It still takes place in Eorzea (Gridania specifically), but with modern stuff.
Gwynedd and Llewellyn would both work at their family's open-late gym The Shipyard. Gwyn works full-time and Llewellyn works part-time. Gwyn is a qualified personal trainer who spends her free time hanging out with her friends from community college, playing ttrpgs and stuff. Llewellyn isn't sure what he wants to do for college or if he even wants to go at all, which is why he's taking a gap year to figure things out.
Isolde is a freelance artist and recently started as an art teacher at a local private school. She loves her students but hates their parents. There is also a rumor that she's dating one of the young history teachers.
As for Llewellyn's friends:
Riveaux is working at his dad's mechanic shop/hardware store to save up money for college. He really wants to go to a prestigious performing arts school (think Juilliard) for both drama and music, but he knows his dad can't afford it and he REFUSES to ask his mother for money. It's 50% his pride and 50% because he knows she'll want a say in where he goes to school.
Syden isn't working per se but he does help his botanist parents out with field work sometimes, or he just watches his little brothers for them. He's not super picky about where he goes for his undergraduate degree, just so long as it's near Riveaux.
A'mina and Dire also work for The Shipyard, but specifically in the daycare area. A'mina wants to become a music teacher or something, but she also wants to explore her options.
Dire wants to go to medical school like their mom, but also double major in music. Doctor is the most impressive, gender-neutral title out there and Dr. Saxophone sounds like a really cool stage name (to them, at least).
@boileddogchicken thank you for the ask!
#If anyone wants to hear about the canon ffxiv characters in this au i will ramble again lol#ffxiv oc stuff#answered stuff
I'm bored. Here are some observations that I've made in the TWST fandom.
The polling info for the JP side of the fandom is based on this. The stuff based on the Western side of the fandom is based on this poll done by XxJuJubexX over on Reddit. These polls were done several months ago, so things might've changed slightly since then. But I think some of the bigger things to note are probably the same.
Also, it should be fucking obvious that these are generalizations and don't apply to everyone in a specific demographic.
According to the western poll, 65% of the survey participants were between the ages of 16-26, and a whooping 75% of them identify as female. (Honestly, this matches up with what I noticed here in the western fandom with it being dominated by high school/uni student aged people, and explains why a lot of the "Yuusonas" tend to be girls.)The follow-up biggest gender demographic is non-binary. This contrasts the Japanese fandom where it attracts mainly "working age women" or women in their mid 20s to late 40s.
Most of the English fandom doesn't actually play the JP game. However, a lot of international players are at least aware of what happens in that version, especially ones that rely on the fan translations.
The favourite dorms in both the international and JP Twst fandoms is Octanivelle. However, Diasomnia is the runner up in the west, not in Japan.
As a surprise to absolutely no one, Malleus has the number one spot on the "Favourite Characters" list in the west.
Azul and the Tweels are popular in both fandoms, but they are secondary compared to Malleus in the west.
The Tweels are more popular than Azul in Japan. In the west, this is flipped.
Trey is much more popular in the JP fandom where he's usually in the #11-16 spot. He's in the #21 spot on the western poll, and is even out ranked by Crewel and fucking Crowley. Ouch. (This matches what I've noticed in the westerner fandom, since he's completely written off as a boring big brother character by most. Honestly, I tend to agree. He's not a bad character per se, just rather dull and underdeveloped compared to the others. That's fine. He's just a side character.)
Malleus isn't popular in the JP fandom, being #17. (According to Reddit, this has to do with Japanese people not typically fantasizing about being whisked away by a brooding supernatural love interest and fucking them as much as westerners, and Malleus "notices" Yuu more, which is much more appealing to westerners desires to be "noticed" and "matter" more. Cultural differences, basically.)
Vil didn't crack the popularity list in Japan. (Which is kinda surprising to me, and I can't think of an explanation as to why.)
Jamil is in the # 6-8 spot in Japan, and vastly outranks Kalim. In the west, Jamil's #12 with Kalim coming right after him. (Despite this coming out before Scarabia on the western server, I don't think this would've changed much, because I always noticed those two have the same amount of popularity before and after their arc, sadly. I think this has to do with the western fandom skewing younger and finding characters like Azul and Riddle more relatable than ones with more mature backstory like Jamil.)
Leona is in the top 3 in the JP fandom while in the west he's #9. (Again, can't think of a reason as to why.)
Idia's popularity is about the same on both sides.
Hello! How are you? Kind of random but I somehow stumbled across an older post of yours about your head canon sexualities for BtVS and AtS characters, and I was wondering if they still held or if they had changed over the years? A lot of them made sense to me but perceptions can shift over time so I was curious if you still felt the same.
Okay, so 1) If you're going to respond to a specific post of mine, I would appreciate you including links or Post #s or something. In this case, I do remember making a big sexuality masterpost and mostly what was on it, but I can't find the post in question despite spending the last few hours looking for it on and off between customers. So if I didn't remember that post fairly well, you'd be SOL in getting an answer to your question.
2). No They haven't. Because the canon hasn't changed. My views on the characters orientations in that sense is "this is what I interpret to be the case in the canon" (except in the case of Amy, more or less). I don't do headcanons like a lot of people on tumblr do, where they'll just throw sexualities, gender identities and neurodivergencies they like at characters they like just because. (This is... not entirely fair, but really, sure how it looks like sometimes).
This isn't to say I don't sometimes go 'oh, there's an interesting prospect for a story' when it involves say, Buffy and Tara as a ship. I've read a few interesting looking Buffy/Tara fics, despite reading Buffy as straight. Hell, I even read Xander/Tara fic despite Tara being super duper gay in canon. Most don't work for me, but they arent all bad per se. I've even written oneshots or the like for Buffy and Cordelia as a ship, despite thinking both are straight.
I've even written longer works that do this. One is just shameless smut and isn't meant to be taken too seriously (The Nymph's Kiss) in which both Buffy and Cordelia are bi for the purposes of the fic I want to do there. Another (Next Year's Girl) has Cordelia be bi because I wanted to write a fic where Xander got bodyswapped with Faith and then stuck in her body, but I'm also a diehard Xandelia shipper so. (I also have three other fics in partial stages of planning that feature Xandelia as a ship but with a Bi Cordelia because Xander is genderbent in some form. This is a premise I quite like, when done right, and have for a long time, I've only relatively recently been willing to actually write it because I've reached the 'fuck it, write the idfic' stage)
But ultimately I still think Cordelia's canon orientation, the orientation of the character that we see on the screen, is heterosexual. When we're talking about the baseline, canon, common to us all Cordelia, I think she's straight. Same with Buffy. Same with Xander (though I'm unlikely to write a fic where Xander likes guys because I'm just not generally interested in m/m fic)
In the context of specific fics or Aus or Whatever, then yeah, go crazy and I'm never gonna dictate other people's HCs, but I tend to go with what's onscreen or what's justifiable from the provided evidence and work from there (and I tend to be conservative - small c, not in a political sense - with how much I read into things, whereas some people will read a lot into things. Generally, if a character doesn't show any specific signs they're not straight, I assume they are)
So no. They haven't changed. And why would they? Canon is still what it is.
#Asked and Answered#Sexuality Headcanons#I am still a bit baffled you're asking this but there it is
OC Questionnaire for the BG3 Unholy Trio
I grabbed this from a few other folks I saw doing this in the BG3 tag~ I made some banners for it even.
NAME: Sylve Aetherwind; she named herself, mind you. She doesn't know if she had a birth name.
NICKNAME: Her mercenary colleagues and other closer acquaintances call her Syl, and people who're afraid of her have dubbed her "The Tempest Archer" (for being like a storm in general and specializing in archery).
GENDER: Female
STAR SIGN: She doesn't know her real birthday, but the one she gave herself is March 8th (or whatever the D&D equivalent of that is), making her a Pisces.
HEIGHT: 5'6'' ft or 168 cm
ORIENTATION: Pansexual
NATIONALITY/ETHNICITY: High (Sun) Half-Elf, and she only found out what specific kind of elf she is because of some colleagues who figured it out. She doesn't know her actual ethnicity, but being born and raised in Baldur's Gate, she'd say she's pretty much Baldurian.
FAVORITE FRUIT: Peaches
FAVORITE SEASON: Summer
FAVORITE FLOWER: She's not all that big on flowers, to be quite honest. But if she had to pick, maybe sunflowers.
FAVORITE SCENT: The smell of forests, of trees, of nature in general. That is her home to her rather than the city of Baldur's Gate that she had to claw her way from nothing to survive in, left to rot by the elite.
COFFEE, TEA, OR HOT CHOCOLATE: Hot chocolate.
AVERAGE HOURS OF SLEEP: 5 or 6, and she's a very light sleeper, so she doesn't tend to rest all that well.
DOGS OR CATS: Dogs
DREAM TRIP: She doesn't really have anywhere in particular she wants to go, because she more so is very fond of the thrill of adventure, and she's traveled to many places in the Sword Coast already. Although she wouldn't be against traveling beyond it, even if just once.
NUMBER OF BLANKETS: She usually only has 1, but if she could she'd love to get multiple huge, fluffy blankets and maybe then she'd get a good night's sleep for once.
RANDOM FACT: Perhaps implied by her favorite fruit, but generally speaking Sylve loves sweet things. But given how she tries to hide how much more...well, dorky, for lack of a better word, she is deep down, she keeps it secret. She overall tries to portray herself fairly seriously, but it becomes apparent with time that as strong and capable as she is...she's pretty silly in actuality. Just ask her colleagues, they all have plenty of stories to tell about her.
NAME: Adoptive name is Raven Mizzrym, birth name is Raven Chandara.
NICKNAME: She's been jokingly called Rave before and up until getting tadpoled killed or at least threatened the majority who ever called her that. I think she'd end up called songbird by Astarion given her name and affinity for singing, and she liked it enough she let him keep calling her that. She'd not be opposed per se to being called Ray either, but thus far I doubt anyone would call her that.
GENDER: Female
STAR SIGN: Her birthday is July 20th (or the D&D equivalent of it), making her star sign Cancer.
HEIGHT: 5'4'' ft or 163 cm
ORIENTATION: Bisexual, tending to prefer women at least on the sexual front. She's never been in love before, so she can't say much there.
NATIONALITY/ETHNICITY: A Drow, though debatably may have some non-Drow ancestors given her hair color, but her birth mother never told her. Born and raised in Menzoberranzan in the Underdark.
FAVORITE FRUIT: Cranberries
FAVORITE SEASON: Spring
FAVORITE FLOWER: Azaleas
FAVORITE SCENT: She loves floral scents in general, but jasmine is probably her favorite. It's exactly what she smells like, actually... (she buys all the jasmine perfumes she can get from surface merchants in the Bazaar and always applies it daily).
COFFEE, TEA, OR HOT CHOCOLATE: Tea. Jasmine tea, specifically (jasmines are definitely her second favorite flower, and in her opinion it's quite unfortunate there isn't much perfume or tea blends for azaleas, but jasmines are good too).
AVERAGE HOURS OF SLEEP: As a Drow, she need only trance for 4 hours, which she usually gets with minimal issue. Her head is her domain; she wills bad memories away with ease, despite them trying quite often to flood her mind.
DOGS OR CATS: Cats
DREAM TRIP: She doesn't have much of a proper answer, beyond just wanting to explore the surface.
NUMBER OF BLANKETS: She needs at least 3, will not settle for anything less. Absolute blanket hog your honor.
RANDOM FACT: I believe I may've mentioned it before, but Raven hates the sun. Even when tadpoled and therefore immune to the penalties sunlight deals her, she still hates it. Too bright. She prefers the night through-and-through. Sometimes the party has to drag her out of her tent because she's being dramatic about how much she does not want to go out in sunlight. Eventually picks up a parasol from a dead nobleman and starts using it to help against sunlight. She gives it to Astarion in the endgame when his tadpole and therefore sunlight immunity vanishes, saying he needs it more and she'll get herself an even fancier one anyway...to mask her genuinely wanting to help him in some manner.
NAME: Nimue Winterbell
NICKNAME: Most people call her Nim, both before and after her amnesia. Before her amnesia, the people of Baldur's Gate knew her as the 'White Mask Killer' since what bit people could see of her was mostly her white cloak and white mask, and she even had her own mark she left when she murdered people.
GENDER: Unlabeled, shifts between leaning feminine and androgynous, and utilizes she/they pronouns.
STAR SIGN: She doesn't know her birthday, and even pre-amnesia she didn't think assigning a birthday to her befit her and refused to acknowledge the birthday given to her by her foster parents.
HEIGHT: 5'8'' or 173 cm
ORIENTATION: Unlabeled, she likes who she likes, that's all that matters to her.
NATIONALITY/ETHNICITY: A Bhaalspawn modeled after a High (Moon) Elf. Baldurian.
FAVORITE FRUIT: Cherries
FAVORITE SEASON: Winter. She loves the snow, and the cold doesn't bother her.
FAVORITE FLOWER: Lilies
FAVORITE SCENT: Blood- The sea.
COFFEE, TEA, OR HOT CHOCOLATE: Coffee
AVERAGE HOURS OF SLEEP: Bhaalspawn she may be, but she is still modeled after an elf, and therefore needs to trance only 4 hours. But she rarely properly gets that, her rest always being extremely fitful, haunted by memories that both vaguely do and vaguely don't feel like her own.
DOGS OR CATS: Cats
DREAM TRIP: She'd love to go just about anywhere that has a beautiful view of the sea. Or even sailing a bit.
NUMBER OF BLANKETS: 1 or 2 are fine.
RANDOM FACT: A habit she retains from before her amnesia is that she often goes skinny dipping during the night either when she can't trance much or when she's tranced enough, as swimming is very calming for her. She also has zero concept of shame, at least in regards to being naked; it's just her (forever tainted, drenched in blood, twisted imitation of an elf-) body. She sees no reason to feel shame.
