Five Nights at Freddy's: Salvaged, Night 6: It's Never Satisfied
Tumblr media
''A story ever vile, such wicked thoughts behind a smile. They wander all the while, I wonder what they're thinking? It's painted faces all I see, they're always haunting me. It's pulling strings of life tonight, it sleeps, please buy us time. Oh, please rewind a tainted rhyme.''
– Painted Faces by Trickywi ft. Rezyon (Five Nights at Freddy's 4)
xXxXxXx
''We're dead.''
''Do you have to be so dramatic?''
Sam glanced at Springtrap who, despite the response, looked rather nervous when he saw the black car parking in the driveway. The two were at the guest room, watching as a woman exited the car, then walked over to the trunk, opening it.
''I'll go ahead then,'' Sam said, looking both nervous and eager about the whole introduction thing.
Springtrap felt anxious as he watched her leave. He knew that this was inevitable and he wasn't looking forward to it, but it was something that needed to be dealt with if he wanted to stay here. Still, what was he supposed to do or say? How was he supposed to even behave around Sam's mother? He had been thinking about it the whole night, but couldn't really come up with anything. The only thing he knew was that he needed to stay calm and try not to panic, and especially not say anything stupid. He sighed.
''Why do I have a feeling that this is going to be a disaster?''
xXx
While Springtrap was debating on how to approach the situation, Sam walked outside, noticing her mother struggling with a box labeled ''FRAGILE''.
''Hey, Mum! Do you need help?'' she asked, with her mother giving her the box.
''Thanks! Please, put it in the house and I'll take a better look at it before I meet up with Cassie at the store,'' her mother replied.
''Okay,'' Sam replied, but instead of going inside, she waited, wondering whether she should tell her mother about Springtrap or put the box away first before she somehow breaks whatever was inside it. ''So, what did you find?''
''A porcelain tea set and some furniture. I asked Adam to pick it up for me, since it wouldn't fit in the car,'' her mother replied, taking out another box from the trunk and closing it. Sam knew that Adam was Cassie's husband, who tended to help them out. Cassie was her mother's friend from high-school and worked at her mother's store. ''So, what did you do while I was away? Have you even left the house?''
''Actually, I did…''
''Well, thank God! I thought you'd be holed up in your room forever,'' her mother said, looking relieved. Sam smiled nervously, with her mother noticing it. She frowned. ''What did you do now?''
Sam felt like she shrunk under her mother's intense glare. She wondered how in the world was Springtrap going to survive this.
''Let's just say that I finally followed your advice and found a new friend,'' Sam replied.
''Oh, really?'' Despite her carefree tone, Sam didn't trust the eager look her mother gave her. ''So, who is your new friend?''
''You'll meet him soon,'' Sam said in a quiet tone, taking a deep breath. Her mother narrowed her eyes, looking at her daughter as they entered the kitchen and put the boxes on the table.
''Okay, where is your friend?'' Sam's mother turned to her, crossing her arms. She noticed Sam looking towards the entrance to the kitchen and followed her gaze. To her shock, a tall golden-green bunny with a purple bowtie peeked into the kitchen, before stepping inside and revealing himself. At first, she thought it was a person in a costume, until she realized that there was no way that those eyes belonged to a human or were even part of a normal costume. They were silver and green, only to start glowing in a soft purple.
Springtrap noticed the look of disbelief Sam's mother was giving him, his mind racing. No matter what Sam told him, he was not prepared for this. He noticed that the shocked expression Sam's mother gave him turned into a glare, with her obviously expecting him to explain himself. He felt his anxiety skyrocketing, knowing he had to say something, but his mind was blank.
Oh, God, how am I supposed to respond to her? This is not good! Okay, keep calm, you can do it!
''Why, hello~,'' he said in a charming tone, waving at Sam's mother.
She was glaring daggers at him, while Sam looked torn between being mortified and laughing. Her expression was screaming Dude, this so wrong on so many levels!. He realized that he completely messed up and attempted to give her an innocent smile. Sam's mother didn't buy it. She glanced at her daughter, who looked as if she had been taken out in front of the firing squad.
''Sam,'' she said in a gentle, sickeningly sweet tone, despite Sam knowing that she was just sharpening the knife before going for the kill. ''When I told you to go out and find some friends, I wasn't expecting you to bring back a robotic bunny.''
She then narrowed her eyes, her arms crossed, with Sam knowing what that look meant. Explain yourself!
''Mum, this is Springtrap,'' she said, trying to sound nonchalant. ''He's a sentient animatronic from Freddy's and he kinda followed me home. Could he stay with us, please? He doesn't really have anywhere else to stay and he won't cause any trouble.''
''Really?'' Her mother then looked at Springtrap, who was startled. Despite her polite, kind tone, she still looked at him as if she was about to kill him. ''My name is Emma Blackburn. Now, I was hoping you would tell me a little more about yourself.''
''Well, I-'' Springtrap noticed that Emma had brown hair, but hers was shorter and lighter than Sam's. However, her and Sam's eyes were precisely the same shade of brown, causing him to panic even more. He had already trouble dealing with Sam whenever she gave him that unnerving gaze, but Emma was worse. She didn't trust him at all and, if he wasn't so sure that he never met this woman in his life before, he would swear that she knew his past, present and future.
''You know, Mum, he isn't exactly the weirdest thing brought to this house,'' Sam interrupted, stepping in between her mother and Springtrap, trying to salvage the situation. Springtrap gave her a look of relief, glad that she saved him. ''Remember the Plague Doctor?''
Her mother's gaze softened as she remembered what she meant, even smiling, but she still shot a glare at Springtrap, who looked like a child who was just caught by their parents with one hand in the cookie jar. At least, that's how he felt. Emma smiled when Springtrap lowered his head, feeling quite embarrassed. He did not want this to happen.
''Fine, he can stay,'' Emma said, glancing at Sam.
''Really?!'' Sam and Springtrap said in unison, only to flinch when Emma glared at both of them.
''Yes, but under one condition,'' she said, walking up to Springtrap, who looked back nervously. He felt as if she was staring straight into his soul. ''You should behave yourself while you're under my roof.''
''Yes, ma'am,'' Springtrap replied hastily. ''I promise.''
Emma looked satisfied, the stern expression she had vanishing instantly. She actually looked quite cheerful.
''Great,'' she said, clapping her hands and looking at her daughter. ''Now that we have dealt with this, do you want me to prepare something for lunch, or…''
''Oh, I have already eaten,'' Sam replied, looking relieved. She then grabbed Springtrap's hand, with the latter looking quite startled. ''Springtrap and I will be in my room, if you need us.''
''Okay, then,'' Emma replied, still smiling.
Sam quickly dragged Springtrap upstairs, with the animatronic forcing himself to not look back at Emma's direction, having the uncanny feeling that she was still staring at him. Once Sam closed the door of her room, he let a sigh of relief. He plopped down on the floor, while Sam dragged the bean bag, placing it and sitting across him.
''You know, when you told me about your mother, I thought you were just exaggerating it,'' he said, shuddering.
''No, I was toning it down for you,'' Sam replied sarcastically, with Springtrap looking really uncomfortable.
''No offense, but your mother is kind of…'' Springtrap wasn't even sure how to express his feelings. ''She is scary.''
''None taken. She has that effect on people, especially if she doesn't trust them,'' Sam said in a comforting tone. ''Nevertheless, she gave you the green light, so you don't have to worry. At least unless she learns the whole truth.''
''How long do you think we have left?'' Springtrap asked.
''I'm giving her until the end of the week,'' Sam said. ''And that's me being optimistic.''
Springtrap sighed, glancing at Sam tiredly. ''Thanks for covering for me.''
''You're welcome, considering how you didn't make a good first impression on her,'' Sam said.
''I can't think clear when I panic!'' Springtrap replied in an attempt to defend himself, with Sam rolling her eyes.
''William, you sounded like you were trying to flirt with my mum,'' she said. Springtrap buried his face into his hands, looking completely embarrassed.
''This was not my intention. I was just trying to be nice and polite,'' he said, glancing at her. ''You're not going to let me forget this, right?''
''I'm not that cruel,'' Sam replied. ''Now, calm down a little. The worst is over.''
''I don't think it is,'' Springtrap sighed, then gave her a curious look. ''Say, what was that about the Plague Doctor?''
''Oh, that one?'' Sam grinned. ''Last Halloween, Mum brought some kind of statue of a plague doctor, with replica clothes and a beak mask, and planned to sell it to someone who was interested in it. The guy said he would pick it up, so we kept it at our house. Since it was Halloween, I thought it would make a good decoration and put it at our front porch.''
''I can imagine that the visitors really loved that decoration,'' Springtrap said in an amused tone.
''Yeah, they really did,'' Sam said sarcastically. ''You see, I messed with it a little. I put a speaker behind the statue and would play hellish screams whenever trick-or-treaters or pranksters would approach the house. It was funny to see them scream and run away. To be honest, it was really loud and I was surprised that the neighbours never came over to check what was going on. I later found out that they were at a Halloween party and that their house was empty.''
''Were there any complaints?'' Springtrap asked her.
''Remember how I told you about my so-called friends? Well, they were the pranksters who tried to throw eggs and silly string at my house. After I scared them to death, I got a call from them and they were threatening to call the cops on me for putting such a horrible decoration,'' Sam said. ''I told them that they had nothing on me, since, first, it was my property and I could do whatever I wanted. Second, the Plague Doctor was just a decoration and not some dead body. And third, it was Halloween – what did they expect? Rainbows and unicorns?''
''That was a really brilliant idea of yours,'' Springtrap said, grinning, while Sam was beaming.
''As said, as scary as it was, it could've been worse,'' Sam replied. ''I'm not completely sure if it's an urban legend, but I read somewhere that people put up dummies on trees to make it look like someone hanged themselves as a decoration. There had been one dummy which lasted days past Halloween, with everyone thinking someone forgot to take it off. That is, until they investigated and discovered that it was an actual corpse.''
''That's disturbing,'' Springtrap muttered. ''Still, I wish I could've seen your little prank.''
''Sadly, SCP-049 had been sold, so there's no way I can repeat that. Speaking of which, I doubt that anyone will try to come to my house this year,'' Sam said. ''Perhaps, it is for the better.''
''SCP?''
''There's a website called SCP Foundation, where people pretend that they are part of an organisation that secures, contains and protects strange beings who are often supernatural and very dangerous in nature. Anything can be an SCP,'' Sam explained. ''After Mum brought the statue, I nicknamed it SCP-049, aka the Plague Doctor, as that was the exact entry I found on the website. Although, it is a good thing that the statue wasn't the actual SCP, because the real deal tends to dissect and infect animals and people in order to find the cure for the plague.''
''I guess that, if that foundation was real, they probably would've considered me an SCP as well, right?'' Springtrap said.
''Yeah,'' Sam replied. ''I can already imagine how that would look like. They probably would try to conduct an interview with you, trying to figure out who you are and how you got yourself into this situation.''
''Speaking of which, this is Night 4, isn't it?'' Springtrap said, with Sam nodding and standing up. She looked past him, at the door. Springtrap quickly turned around, expecting Emma to stand there, but to his relief, she wasn't in the room. He glanced back at Sam, with her shaking her head.
''My mum is not someone who eavesdrops,'' she said in a quiet tone. ''But, she is scarily good at figuring things out, so it would be a good idea to not talk about your past while she's around. Not to mention, she doesn't trust you at all.''
''I figured that out myself,'' Springtrap replied dryly. He stood up, noticing a soft smile on her expression, only for it to change into a more serious look. She sat down on the swivel chair, turning her laptop on.
''You know, a few days ago, I had this really terrifying nightmare,'' Sam said, looking at Springtrap. ''I was alone at home and that someone was trying to get inside my house, so I ran around and locked all the doors and closed all the windows. Once I knew I was safely locked inside and nobody could get in, I realized that the footsteps I heard whenever I would move weren't mine. The last thing I saw before I woke up was a man in black clothes and a hoodie over his face, stabbing me with a knife right in the eye.''
''I guess you must've felt really unsafe in your own home after that, even if it was just a nightmare,'' Springtrap said.
''Yeah, but that's also the point. Sometimes, you don't feel safe in your own home,'' Sam said, with Springtrap having the uncanny feeling that this was related to him. The gaze Sam gave him didn't help. The two got suddenly startled when they heard knocking on the door. It opened, with Emma peeking inside.
''I'll get going then,'' she said, looking at Sam. ''Is there anything you need?''
''No, I'm fine,'' Sam replied, with Emma nodding and closing the door. Springtrap glanced back at Sam, who remained silent until they heard the door downstairs closing. She looked at him, with Springtrap feeling a little concerned as he sat down on her bed.
''I guess we should continue with Night 4,'' he said.
''That also means that only one more Night is left for both of us to make our decisions,'' Sam said. ''I guess that we'll see tomorrow how this will continue.''
''I know,'' Springtrap said. He was a little anxious about it, as he still wasn't sure how the whole thing would end. He knew that, despite the trust Sam had showed him, she was still insecure about his presence. Or even afraid.
Springtrap hated that thought, despite being aware that it was true. He noticed Sam looking at him, her expression solemn. It reminded him of that look she gave him when she asked him about the Missing Children Incident, but it was still a little different. He then realized that it felt as if she was going to ask him about something deeply personal.
''You had a family, right, William?'' Sam said in a quiet tone. Even though he was aware that Sam would eventually ask him about it, Springtrap still hoped that she wouldn't. He could understand her curiosity, but this was something he really didn't want to talk about. He lowered his head, sighing.
''I did,'' he said. ''I assume you're already aware of what happened.''
''For the most part, but there are still a few things I don't understand,'' Sam said, glancing at her laptop. ''For example, there are some things that can be considered nightmares born out of our fears. I mean the type of nightmare that would never exist in the real life. Then, there are those types of nightmares that we know that they can happen in real life. Then, there is this stuff.''
Springtrap knew that, by now, he shouldn't even be surprised anymore by the things Sam brought up or revealed. However, he was still stunned to see an image of Nightmare Freddy tipping his black top hat, with small mini versions of him, known as Freddles, coming out of his torso. He looked as if he was welcoming someone to a party.
''Five Nights at Freddy's 4,'' Sam continued. ''I had no idea what was going on in this game and I spent most of the time debating whether the Nightmare Animatronics were real or not.''
Springtrap noticed the curious look she was giving him. Despite her looking rather nonchalant, the heavy-hearted tone she addressed him with and her mentioning his family, as well as the Nightmare Animatronics, gave him a very good idea what event she wanted to question him about.
Still, she didn't pressure him, nor did she demand answers. She wanted to let him speak for himself, which he was thankful for. He sighed, trying to keep calm. There was no panic, although he did feel a little anxious. He knew what happened and what he had done, but now that he reflected on it, he too felt like it was just a nightmare he would soon wake up from. However, this was never a dream, but cruel reality.
''Those Nightmare Animatronics, as you call them, were my creation,'' Springtrap said, glancing at Sam. She was listening intently to him, her expression showing no judgement whatsoever. All she wanted to know was the full story behind his actions. ''However, there is a reason why I made them like that.''
''Why were they even created?'' Sam asked.
''You asked me about my family. Well, at that time, I had three children: Michael, Sammy and Elizabeth. My wife had just left me, as she was upset that I would keep myself locked up in my workshop and she felt I wasn't anymore the man she knew. Or, perhaps she knew, and wanted to escape that life before it was too late for her,'' Springtrap lowered his head. ''Michael, Sammy and Elizabeth wanted to stay with me, though, instead of leaving with their mother. Elizabeth was always a daddy's girl, so I guess that's why she wanted to stay with me. Michael and Sammy loved the animatronics me and Henry created, so that might be their reason. They wanted to stay with the parent who had access to all those amazing and shiny toys. I once overheard Michael bragging to his friends about the animatronics and how he was happy I made them. He was especially fond of Foxy. Sammy, on the other hand, liked Fredbear more.''
Springtrap smiled at the memory of his children. They looked amazed when they were introduced to the animatronics, if a little fearful. Still, the fear quickly vanished as they explored more and more the world that seemed to be created just for them. Why couldn't I appreciate their smiles a little more?
''This was all before the horror show you know about,'' he added in a dejected tone. ''Before I decided that my own selfish desire to fill the void I felt inside me had priority over the happiness of my own family.''
He glanced at the monitor, attempting to avoid Sam's gaze. He didn't want to know whether she was giving him a look of disgust or compassion until he told her everything.
''Would you believe me that I created those Nightmares to protect my youngest son?''
There was a brief silence, causing Springtrap to look up. Sam looked surprised, albeit it wasn't the kind of surprise he anticipated. Instead of being shocked that he would even think about protecting his own children, she looked more like she had assumed that that might have been one of the possibilities and was simply in the process of accepting the truth. She's open to any theory until it is debunked. But, will she accept the truth the way it is?
''You know, constant fear isn't really the best method of protection,'' Sam finally replied.
''I realized that a little too late,'' Springtrap said. ''I wanted Sammy to stay away from the animatronics for his own safety, hoping tragedy won't struck again. Those Nightmare Animatronics were completely under my control and, despite looking scary, they would never harm him.''
''I guess that being scarred for life was still a better alternative than dying at the hands of an animatronic,'' Sam said in a quiet tone, looking at her laptop and opening another file. ''However, that didn't work out.''
''I knew that Sammy would stay away from the animatronics, but I didn't anticipate Michael trying to play a prank on his brother,'' Springtrap said, noticing the video Sam played. A crying child was struggling as he tried to escape Fredbear's mouth, only for it to close down on his head with a sickening crunch. He flinched and looked away with a pained look on his expression, closing his eyes. There was so much blood.
He could still see it, one of the many memories he just wanted to forget. He was in the back room at that time, when he suddenly heard screams and someone yelling to call the ambulance. He rushed out, only to see Michael and his friends crying and freaking out over the seemingly lifeless body in Fredbear's mouth. Blood was trickling down the suit in small rivers, staining it.
Once he overcame the shock and realized what happened, he had rushed over to the animatronic, turning it off and gently removing the body of his youngest son. He was still breathing, but what was left of his head was a complete mess, a jumble of flesh, bones and blood. People were screaming, children were crying, his older son was apologizing over and over again in fear, the ambulance had finally arrived… He never heard any of it. It was as if he was surrounded by a barrier, severing him from the rest of the world. All he saw was a half-dead Sammy and all he heard was a voice inside his head. Not again… Why did this happen again?!
''Will…''
He looked up, noticing Sam in front of him. He then realized that his hands were shaking and he forced himself to calm down, despite the fear and anxiety lurking in the back of his mind. He noticed the look of concern Sam gave him, mixed with sympathy. He could sense the hollow feeling spreading through his chest, combined with a sudden urge to hug her.
No...
He was taken aback by that thought, resisting it. Why would she still be here after all the horrible things I had done? Why would she even want to comfort me?
He lowered his head. At least, she is here, trying to understand something even I couldn't or I didn't want to understand.
''I haven't seen what happened, but I saw the aftermath,'' he told her. ''It was horrible.''
''What happened to Sammy?'' Sam asked.
''He was rushed into the hospital and ended up in a coma from which he never woke up,'' Springtrap said darkly. His eyes narrowed, and somewhere, in the corner of his mind, he heard the sound of a flatline. ''I hoped I could put him back together.''
''Just like Elizabeth.''
Springtrap looked up at her, then noticed that she was looking at the monitor. To his surprise, it showed an image of Circus Baby, gazing back at them with a sinister smile.
''Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location,'' Sam said. ''There are still a few more things I want to ask you about, but I feel that they couldn't be asked unless I included this into our conversation.''
Of course not. It wouldn't feel complete, after all. Springtrap sighed, feeling a sudden urge to laugh and cry. He still remembered the conversation he had about Circus Baby, the one animatronic he had been proud of the most, aside from his cherished Spring Bonnie suit.
''There's no doubting what you've achieved on a technical level. These are clearly state-of-the-art. There are just certain... 'design choices' that were made for these robots that we don't fully understand. We were hoping that you could shed some light on those.''
''She can dance. She can sing. She's equipped with a built-in helium tank, inflating balloons right at her fingertips. She can take song requests. She can even dispense ice cream.''
''With all due respect, those were the design choices we were curious about, Mr. Afton.''
He knew that they would never understand why he created them.
''Daddy isn't watching.''
He snapped out of his memory, looking at Sam, who glanced at an audio file. The voice he heard, it wasn't Elizabeth's, even though it was similar, but rather a recording from the game she showed him. He noticed the gaze Sam was giving him. Even though the animatronics were long gone, this story was not over yet.
''I know that The Bite of '83 was an accident. I know that the springlock suits were not supposed to maim anyone and yet they did,'' Sam said, shaking her head. ''But, why would you want to create animatronics that are capable of killing people?''
''Maybe because kids would trust more a shiny animatronic than an adult,'' Springtrap replied sarcastically and sighed. ''I understand what you mean. This was just another of my crazy ideas when I decided that murder was the only thing that could satisfy me.''
''Even the death of your own daughter?'' Sam asked darkly. Springtrap shook his head, looking upset.
''I never wanted Elizabeth to die. While I told her I made Circus Baby just for her, I didn't mean that in a literal way,'' Springtrap replied. He felt his hands shaking again and he closed his eyes, but he still saw blood.
''Daddy…''
She was still alive when he found her, all alone in the room and trapped inside the robot. There was no blood, at least not until he opened the animatronic, only to see a blood-covered arm reaching and a quiet voice calling for him.
''Daddy… I'm sorry…''
He gently picked her up, cradling her in his arms. The light in her eyes faded.
''I just… wanted to play…''
He wanted to scream, but he couldn't. He just stared at the little body of his daughter as she passed away. He had no idea what he was doing, as it felt as if someone else was controlling him. All he knew afterwards was that he placed the body back into the animatronic and closed it. A day later, Circus Baby's Pizza World was closed due to supposed gas leaks.
''I didn't expect that her soul would possess Circus Baby, although, at that point I wasn't aware that that was even possible. To be honest, her death occurred shortly after Charlie's,'' Springtrap added in a grave tone. ''Henry lost his daughter, so I guess that it would be only fair that I lose mine as well.''
But, that wasn't enough. Even Hell wasn't enough to satisfy whoever wanted to keep on torturing me and watching me suffer. It doesn't matter if it's supposed to be over. For me, this nightmare has no satisfactory ending.
''The only one who was left was Michael,'' Sam said, breaking the silence. Springtrap lowered his head when he saw her unnerving gaze. ''You sent him to his death as well, if indirectly. You made the same mistake just like you did with Elizabeth and Sammy.''
''I think that, at that point, I just stopped caring. Nothing mattered to me anymore,'' Springtrap said, shaking his head. ''I didn't even care for my own life.''
''Michael certainly did seem to care, considering how he decided to stop you, even though he had been scooped and worn as a suit by Ennard, who later escaped once it started to decompose. His soul only remained thanks to remnant,'' Sam said firmly. ''Circus Baby was right when she said that he wouldn't die, although death would be more than welcoming in his situation.''
Springtrap remained silent. He knew that he was a horrible parent and even worse as a person. He glanced at Sam, who, while she didn't look as disgusted as he feared she would, still gave him a look that made him want to crawl back to Hell and stay there so he wouldn't have to face her. He simply felt exhausted, staring emptily at the floor.
''I guess that we can both agree that, as a father, you failed,'' Sam said.
''I think I failed not only as a father, but also as a person,'' Springtrap replied bitterly.
''That too,'' Sam said, with Springtrap being a little startled by how blunt she was. Still, he felt that he had it coming.
''May I ask you something?'' he said. Sam, who was searching for something on her laptop, turned her chair and looked at him, a curious look on her expression.
''Sure,'' she said briskly.
''Does Emma even know about your urban explorations?'' Springtrap asked. Sam bit her lip, giving him a sheepish look.
''Actually, she does,'' Sam said, looking as if she was remembering something mildly unpleasant. ''But, she's fine with it as long as I don't get myself into trouble. Also, I'm not say that she doesn't care, as she does. I want to say that she trusts me and I'm not that stupid to betray her trust by getting myself into trouble or doing something dangerous.''
''Oh, really?'' Springtrap said in a deadpan tone. Sam rolled her eyes.
''I know that this was a dangerous idea,'' Sam said, frowning and looking a little insecure, with Springtrap feeling bad for causing her to get upset again. ''Still, there is one more Night left, so let's keep it a secret for now, okay?''
''Okay…'' Springtrap nodded. Sam smiled, although Springtrap noticed that she still looked a little insecure. He wanted to say something to comfort her, but there was nothing on his mind. He simply hated it seeing her downhearted. ''Sam?''
''Yeah?''
''I'm sorry.'' He noticed the surprised and curious look Sam gave him. He sighed. ''I don't really know anymore… You looked really uncomfortable.''
''Thanks and I accept your apology,'' Sam said, smiling again, but this time, it was sincere. He was relieved to see her smile, feeling happy, and sensing once again the warmth in his chest. However, he still felt that there was something wrong.
The warmth had vanished.
xXx
''We have pizza for dinner?'' Sam said when her mother put down the box. She then grinned. ''Ah, it's from Mamma Mia.''
''Well, from where else would I want to order it?'' Emma asked as Sam placed the plates on the table. Sam shrugged, deciding to not bother her mother with the fact that she got pizza from Ricky's the previous day. Emma would often tell her how Mamma Mia, despite being a small place, always made the best pizza, and who was she to argue with her mother.
As she put a slice on her plate, she noticed Springtrap peeking into the kitchen. She beckoned to him, only to realize he didn't want to join her because Emma was inside as well. She then shrugged and put another slice on her plate.
''I'll eat in my room,'' she told her mother, who didn't respond. However, Emma did notice Springtrap, glaring at him. Once Sam looked back at the animatronic, she noticed him shaking his head and leaving. A little confused, she went to the living room instead, with Emma joining her as she turned the TV on and switching programs to find a good show or a movie. ''So, is everything okay at the store?''
''Yeah,'' Emma replied, glancing at her daughter, a sheepish grin on her expression. ''Except for that old lady who came inside and started complaining about her son, his wife and her family, then started to cry about her life falling apart. I didn't know that my second-hand store was also the local psychiatry.''
''Really?'' Sam raised an eyebrow, then remembered something. ''Didn't you tell me about this lady already?''
''You're right, she's the same one from a couple of weeks ago,'' Emma replied. ''At least, this time she didn't break a figurine and demanded a discount for it. Me and Cassie were stunned when we saw her again.''
''Wow, who would've thought,'' Sam said. She had already heard from her mother or from Cassie about some crazy customers they had and always enjoyed those stories. Their conversation slowly turned into a banter over two movies, with each wanting to watch a different one and Sam ending up teasing her mother over her crush on the actor.
Both enjoyed their evening, not noticing the bunny animatronic who was observing them with a crestfallen look on his expression. He left for upstairs, knowing he was just an intruder here, no matter what Sam told him.
He had already destroyed his family. He didn't want to destroy another one.
xXx
Springtrap was sitting on the couch, thinking about what he had discussed with Sam. He felt that there were still a lot of things left unsaid. Maybe it was because of his refusal to talk about it, but he also had a feeling that Sam didn't want to press for more answers because she didn't want to know what other horrible things he had done. Now that he thought about it, he too just wanted to forget everything and move on.
I can't, he thought bitterly. It just doesn't work that way. There will always be something that will keep on reminding me of what I did and what happened. There's no way I can ever move on.
He heard the door opening and jumped on his feet, a little agitated. To his surprise, it was Emma who opened the door. She was glaring at him, with Springtrap once again having that uncanny feeling that she was able to see the soul trapped inside the animatronic.
''Hello, Emma,'' he said nervously. ''What-''
He cut himself of when she suddenly approached him, still glaring daggers at him. He involuntarily backed away, only to realize that there was no space for him to retreat due to the couch behind him.
''Keep your mouth shut and listen to me carefully,'' Emma said in a threatening tone. ''I don't know your real name, but I sincerely doubt that you're just an animatronic. I think that you're a lot more than that. For your information, I know what went down at Freddy's. Even though I was a little girl, I did hear the rumor about a bunny leading a child away, only for the child to be reported missing. I am aware that Sam is keeping your true identity secret, but I'm quite sure that I know who you are. Now, give me one good reason to not drag you to the scrap yard and incinerate you.''
At this point, Springtrap felt genuinely scared of Emma. Despite the fact that he was taller than her, she was towering over him. He kept quiet, staring at the floor and fearing that his silence would only anger her more. But, what am I supposed to say?!
''You're… You're right,'' he whispered in a defeated tone.
''So, you are the murderer,'' Emma said in a quiet tone, frowning. ''Honestly, I have nothing to say except that you should be in Hell and burn for this.''
''I've been there and my soul returned for a reason even I don't understand,'' Springtrap replied. The two fell silent. Eventually, Emma sighed.
''For some reason, Sam is content with keeping you around. She even calls you her friend,'' she said. ''I don't know why, but I do trust my daughter's judgement. If she didn't have a good reason for this, we wouldn't be having this conversation now.'' She crossed her arms. ''Therefore, I will let you stay…''
Springtrap stared at her in surprise. However, the look she gave him caused his anxiety to skyrocket.
''However, if you step out of the line, even a little, I'll become your worst nightmare,'' Emma added. ''Have you understood me?''
''I did,'' Springtrap muttered. Emma gave him a look of disgust, turned around and left. However, at the door, she glanced back at him.
''Good night,'' she said in a pleasant tone, which gave Springtrap the chills. He was left in the dark once she closed the door. He plopped down on the couch, still freaked out by the whole exchange. He buried his head into his hands, shaking.
Just how did I get myself into this situation?

FNAF movie talk - (spoilers beneath the cut) (i did enjoy it it was very fun we saw it twice)
ok now that we're safely under the spoiler bar
I LOVED the set and the animatronics. The costumes were amazing and they did such a good good job with them. You could feel the love that went into making everything and just. Ah! Ah! I thought that they did a good job with Mike! Like yeah, let's stack on the motivation to stay here.
The issues I had are mostly around a couple confusing bits. And I bring them up because I had the mortifying realization as I was explaining to my partner's younger brother that - yeah. I know too much about this.
Anyway.
I think they kiiiind of bungled two of the ghost kids. Freddy's ghost, and golden freddy.
They really, really conflated the two throughout the film, and it makes the line later of him being like 'not freddy :)' quite confusing to someone who hasn't spent an agonizing amount of time in the lore. Like, even in the Freddy death scene with the bite? I am like 90% sure the kid shown leading to that was GF kid, not the OG freddy ghost kid, and it was definitely normal Freddy in parts and services and not golden.
I think they either needed to show golden freddy in that scene, or have the freddy kid ghost shown. By equating and confusing the two there, it really makes golden freddy later... confusing.
I think that actually, having golden freddy get that kill would have worked better. Because then it's shown before it's suddenly in their house! Or have both of them in there. Having just freddy and then being like oh uhh yeah there's five and you've not actually been talking to freddy ghost but GOLDEN freddy ghost hehe :) it's not great. it's a bit sloppy.
Making either direction more clear would have been a good benefit to the film.
And I think really the only other thing coming to mind right now is the kind of climax scene. It would have been stronger, I think, if Afton had kept the mask on. Like ok. Ok. Then the audience doesn't get the OHHHH THAT"S AFTON!!! recognition from the first scene, but then you wouldn't have the kind of weirdness of like... The impression I carried, perhaps wrongly, was that the ghost kids simply didn't connect springtrap with the man who killed them, and that's why in the games he is shown diving back into the suit; it masks who he is from the vengeful ghosts, because the funny bunny didn't hurt them, it was the bad purple guy.
Having afton take the mask off to gloat is a bit weird. I feel like they could have shifted that to have him still talking in the mask but referencing things from their interview talk to have as the reveal instead. Have Mike listen to him say something, idk, that clues him in to the fact that this is technically a set up. Afton with the mask off should, by my understanding, have drawn ghostie aggro. I know this is another canon, but it makes the whole... ghost situation a little odd.
I actually don't have problems with the drawing cluing the ghosts in, I just think the idea that they didn't aggro at Afton with the mask off to be strange. I would think at least GF would have gone aggressive, but again, his role is just... odd.
I also think, perhaps suggesting this is a sin, but I wish they'd sacrificed his iconic line there at the end. If they'd changed it to him just generally gloating about how he'd be back, instead of him always coming back, because like. It's a great easter egg, but you've really gotta be into the franchise to get it. To an outsider, it's just a little weird for him to say.
Springtrap looked fucking great tho, 10/10 loved him.
They were 10000000% right to give him a knife.
I'd give it like. A 7/10 overall. A 10/10 for sheer fun tho.
I am going to buy a big fuckin' poster for this movie and buy it the second it comes out on disc. I am dying to see what extras it will come with.

Could you please share how Ennard's and Springtrap's personalities come about?
I should start by saying that at some point, and I don't remember when- I think it might've been after deciding that I didn't just want Ennard to be a villain sort of character- Ennard and Springtrap were the same person. I.E. they were both going to be Michael.
Let me take a step back. Ennard and Springtrap's initial development can both be attributed to Scott. Springtrap's because he originally WAS Scott and then was changed, and Ennard's because it was while planning for his time with Scott that his character arc came about.
Springtrap was established pretty quickly once it was decided he was going to be Michael Afton. Knowing his history, and actions, one could only assume the amount of determination and steadfastness it would take to willingly go through with such actions. We had also heard Michael's voice for the first time. We knew he was one to make up for past mistakes, but also which side of the line he was on.
This also worked out great because Springtrap wasn't going to be Afton, so having someone who would likely look enough like Afton to be mistaken for him and have reason to be at the location was perfect. Plus, it allowed me to have Springtrap as a character- because if he WAS Afton, leaving open the door to any possible arc would've made me a huge hypocrite.
At some point after Spingtrap was planned and Ennard was going through changes- around the middle or end of CGHA- it was decided that Springtrap and Ennard would both be Michael, whose soul was split into two. Almost like a right brain and left brain situation. Which actually lined up pretty well.
But while getting closer to or going through the ending, I realized that there was a... problem with this. There is a jump in logic that I thought wouldn't have been as natural for readers. It's hard to explain, but it felt like the sort of thing I would basically have to set time aside to explain and then it still wouldn't be that smooth. Saying "Springtrap and Ennard are both Michael Afton" seems simple until you actually think about how that might happen.
And it's not that I don't think readers aren't smart enough to understand, I just think that the reveal isn't as rewarding when you have to read contextual information to get the full scope of it.
Plus, I feared that jump in logic would jump the shark. It works alright with the Minireenas and Bidybabs, but with massive, full-fledged animatronics? And they just happened to become entirely different personalities? I don't think so.
Before CGHA ended and AFLH began- I'm pretty sure before the premise of even Charlie becoming an animatronic was planned- I decided to figure out something else for Ennard.
Who else could be Ennard? - Maybe a technician? - Why would this technician be important? - Do we have details we can use? (A dead body was found in this vent once/we've tried before) - What about Michael, would he have known him? (He has to have known him for the mutual antagonism to pay off) -
Why did Michael really go down to Afton Robotics if he didn't trust his father, knew his sister had gone missing, and being a level-headed person, would've likely seen his father's attempts to get him to go down there as some form of manipulation?
That's when Ben became the reason, and that's when Ennard became Ben.
Ben's name is based of the Eggs Benedict joke, obviously, with his last name being a half-nod towards a character in IT.
In actuality, Ben wasn't hugely important in comparison to Ennard himself and how it was that Michael and him were going to figure out the truth. The plan to have them solidify Michael's identity by going down to ARI and leading up to that point having Ennard remember Michael and thinking it must be himself formulated during early outlining, but the idea to have Ennard almost die in a furnace in the process didn't come about until Help Wanted released.
I think that mostly covers the journey. ^_^ Hope it was interesting!

The Ghosts of His Past
Part 2 to: Don't Release The Spirits! Link
William develops a relationship with the 5 ghost kids he originally killed. They spend time together, play games, and comfort each other when they're down. But another ghost comes out from the shadows, and immediately contradicts everything William had built up...
There is implied child murder, discussions about child murder, and implied suicide. If any of these topics bother you, you can either click off or read at your own risk.
It is still unknown whether a person’s soul lingers with their physical body. So far, the kids’ circumstance has proven it doesn’t. William had realized that despite the kids’ bodies being taken and properly dealt with for their funerals, their souls were no longer linked to their bodies long after being killed. The only body that still really existed within the Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria building, was William’s body. But that was only because his body was hidden too well for them to find. No one could tell that there was a body in that suit, unless they looked at the blood or actually opened the suit head. But William was a little nervous for that day to come. What if his soul was still linked to his body? And if so, then what would happen if he could feel the suit head being pulled off of him?! The thought terrified him.
It terrified him so much that he would spend some time just floating in the storage room, staring at the suit with blood surrounding it.
Today was one of those days where William would do this. He would just stare...stare until he couldn’t stare anymore. Soon, another ghost came floating through the door. “Hi William.” someone greeted.
William knew exactly who it was. “Hi Cassidy.” William replied. Cassidy was the only ghost that hasn’t called him Dad yet. She preferred to go by ‘Uncle William’ or ‘William’, depending on her mood during the day.
“Staring at your body again?” Cassidy asked. William gave her a slight nod. “Why? It’s just gonna make you feel worse.” Cassidy told him. “We didn’t spend hours looking at our bodies. Sure, we didn’t get to see them very much. But we didn’t dedicate time to stare at our bodies like you do.” Cassidy told him.
William sighed and rubbed his forehead. “I know.” William replied. “I know it’s just gonna make my thoughts whirl again. But...I’m nervous.” William admitted.
“Nervous you’re gonna feel your unconscious body’s pain?” Cassidy asked.
William looked at Cassidy and nodded.
Cassidy floated over to the body and dug her hand into the suit. William widened his eyes. “What- HEY! DON’T!” William shouted, before tensing up for the pain that was gonna hit him.
...But…
Nothing happened. William opened one eye and opened both when he realized Cassidy was still digging around. There was nothing. No pain. “...Wait…” William muttered, confused.
Cassidy removed her ghost hand and turned around. “See?” Cassidy revealed, showing her hands.
But...there was one tiny problem: her hands weren’t bloody.
“Why aren’t they bloody?” William asked. “And...If you’re a ghost, are you even able to interfere with my physical body?” William asked.
To further prove William wrong, Cassidy dug into the suit again and ripped out some wires and...Oh god...Was that-
William widened his eyes in horror and disgust. But...she was right. He wasn’t experiencing pain. “...Wow.” William reacted, looking down at himself. Nothing of his ghost body had changed.
“Now do you see?” Cassidy asked, throwing the mixed handful of guts aside. “No pain, no worries.” Cassidy replied. Even as she ridded her hand of the guts, her ghost hands were not covered in blood. Only the guts themselves were slightly bloody.
Cassidy floated to William. “Now come: You have a family to come home to.” Cassidy encouraged, grabbing his hand and floating through the door together.
Even though William’s body was still technically connected to the springtrap suit, William was still capable of moving away from the suit and onto the stage whenever he pleased. This stage became William and the kids’ shelter during their time spent in purgatory. So, that’s where they headed. William and Cassidy flew themselves through the stage curtains and observed the cute scenes within the stage: The kids had made 2 separate forts out of the worn out pair of torn red curtains that had been previously discarded in the storage room. They had multiple dining room chairs set up to keep the curtains up, and had half-deflated balloons as pillows for their forts. They had also hung up party banners as the fort curtain entrances, and used the leftover party hats to make their forts look more castle-like on the top.
“Sir Gabriel! The Mighty Men have broken our entrance walls!” Fritz told Susie.
“Oh no! I will start repairs right away!” Susie declared.
“But your Majesty! You’re the queen! How will you repair the walls if I’m fighting?” Fritz asked.
Cassidy smiled and grabbed the toolbox hammer. “Worry not, Soldier Fritz! I, The handy girl, is here to fix your walls!” Cassidy declared.
“Hallelujah!” Fritz declared.
Susie pouted. “I wanna fix the wall! Being a queen is boring. You can’t do anything!” Susie whined.
“You can help me, if you want to.” Cassidy offered. “I’ll let you hold the hammer too.” Cassidy offered.
Susie gasped and held her hands out for the hammer. Cassidy handed the hammer to her, and watched as the hammer weighed Susie right down to the ground. The hammer was just too heavy for her ghost hands to carry.
This ended up being a hilarious thing for William to watch: he let out a short laugh in reaction. Suddenly, Susie looked at William! “DAD’S BACK!” Susie shouted, throwing the hammer to the side and floating quickly to William. Cassidy yelped in surprise and tensed up for the hammer to hit her on the chest…
...Only for the hammer to float right through her body.
Cassidy opened her eyes and observed the hammer that was floating below her footless bottom. “...Oh.” She reacted. She had managed to forget she was a ghost and couldn’t actually get injured by physical objects.
William lifted Susie up and hugged her happily. “Hello Susie! Having fun?” William asked.
“Yes! We’re playing a game where a girl kingdom and a boy kingdom are fighting to take over the other!” Susie explained.
William giggled. “Yeah? Who’s winning so far?” He asked.
“THE BOYS!’ Jeremy yelled, sitting on the ‘throne’.
Fritz and Gabriel were doing a sword fight with wooden sticks and were being cheered on by Susie and Jeremy. It didn’t take long for the kids to throw their sticks back to their forts and for the kids to start wrestling.
“YES! SHOW FRITZ WHO’S BOSS!” Jeremy shouted.
“KICK HIM IN THE CROTCH, FRITZ!” Susie yelled.
“I CAN’T KICK HIM IN THE CROTCH! HE FEELS NO- EEK!” Fritz shouted to Susie, before being shoved to the ground by Gabriel.
“A-HA! I’ve GOT YOU NOW!” Gabriel declared.
“Not for long!” Fritz declared, before reaching her arm up to tickle him.
“Nope!” Gabriel declared, pushing her arm down. Fritz reached her other arm up. “Not happening!” Gabriel declared again, pushing her other arm down. But that didn’t stop the girl from leaning forward and blowing a raspberry on his neck! “BWAAAAHAHAHAHA!” Gabriel let go and floated away quickly. But Fritz was already up and chasing him! “WAIT! NO! FRITZ! STOP IT! EEEK!” Gabriel shouted amidst his quick ‘running’.
“Wow! For a person who’s part of the man side, you sure scream like a girl. Maybe you should join us!” Fritz suggested.
“NO! NEVER! I AM A BIG BOY!” Gabriel argued.
Fritz soon caught up to him and pinned him down. “About as big as a school desk.” Fritz replied with a smirk as she wiggled her fingers at him.
“Hey! That’s mean! I’m taller than a desk!” Gabriel argued.
“Fine. How about this: As big as a teacher’s desk?” Fritz offered.
Gabriel thought for a moment, and slowly nodded. “Okay. I can see tha- YAAAHAHAHAHA! EEEHEHEHEHEHE! FRIHIHIHIHITZ!” Gabriel shouted, laughing hysterically as Fritz drilled near his hips.
“Yes soldier?” Fritz replied.
“STAHAHAP TIHIHIHICKLIHIHING MEHEHEHEHE!” Gabriel begged.
“Do you accept defeat? Do the girls win this war?” Fritz asked.
“IHIHIHI…” Gabriel replied, not really sure what to do.
“DON’T GIVE UP, GABRIEL!” Jeremy called to him. “YOU CAN DO IT!”
“KEEP TICKLING HIM, FRITZ! GO FOR HIS NECK AGAIN!” Susie cheered on.
William was just giggling to himself as he watched the whole thing. If only the world wars had been fought like this...There would’ve been next to no bodies to clean up.
“OHOHOKAHAHAHAY! IHIHI GIHIHIHIVE UHUHUP! GIHIHIHIRLS WIHIHIHIN!” Gabriel finally gave up.
“Awwww…” Jeremy whined.
“YES! GIRLS WON! WE WON! GIRLS RULE! BOYS DROOL!” Susie shouted, standing up from her throne and jumping around.
William smirked and walked up behind her. “Now you be careful what you’re saying, Susie bear…” William warned with a hint of playfulness in his voice.
Susie’s cheering quickly paused as she realized who was behind her. Susie turned around and looked up to William. “...Oops.” Was all Susie said.
“Come here you!” William declared before picking her up. Susie let out giggles and quickly bursted out laughing as William lightly squeezed her lower ribs and skittered his fingers all over her belly. “Tickatickatickatickatickatick- atickatickatickatickatick!” William teased super quickly.
“EEEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHA! DAHAHAHAD NOHOHOHOHO!” Susie laughed.
“Dad nooo? That’s cute. Looks like poor Susie should’ve thought about that before you said that boys drool.” William suggested.
“BOYS! THE TICKLE MONSTER HAS SUSIE! DOGGIE PIIIILLLLE!” Fritz shouted.
Suddenly, there was a war cry of 4 other kids floating up to him super quickly before kitty slapping him. Though it took Cassidy’s hand to get William onto the ground, the kids did manage to get William down so they could doggy pile him.
“Help! I’m being doggy piled! aaAAAAH! Hahahaha! Ahahand tihihickled! HAHAHAhahaha!” William fake yelled, quickly falling into giggles and laughter.
“TICKLE ATTACK!” Cassidy declared before tickling his ribs and sides.
William squealed and bursted out laughing almost immediately. The kids quickly joined in, tickling his armpits, his hips, his feet, and his neck. Fritz had started going for the abs as well, which ended up being the best choice she’s ever made. “HAHAHAHAHA! NOHOHO AHAHAHABS! NOHOHOHOHOHO AHAHAHAHABS!” William screamed.
“Oooh! A keypad!” Fritz declared. Fritz started poking and pressing roughly on the abs like a telephone keypad. “Beep beep beep, beep beep beep, beep beep beep beep!” Fritz teased. William threw his head back and bursted into cackles. Fritz made her hand into a phone symbol. “Hello? Oh HI! Is this the tickle monster?” Fritz teased, looking at William from the corner of her eye.
“STAHAHAHAP IHIHIHIT!” William begged.
“Perfect! He is here, and ripe for the tickling.” Fritz replied to the fake voice on the other line.
“COHOHOME OHOHON GUHUHUYS! IHIHIHI NEHEHEED AHA BREHEHEHEAK!” William begged.
Jeremy and Susie both bursted out laughing. “No you don’t! You’re a ghost just like us! You don’t need air!” Gabriel argued amidst his own laughing.
William looked at himself and realized: Yeah...he’s right. “BUHUHUHUT STIHIHIHILL! IHIHI’M GOHOHONNA GEHEHEHET YOHOU GUYS BAHAHAHACK!” William told them.
Susie giggled. “I know.” She replied.
Suddenly, Fritz started clawing and spidering her fingers all over William’s abs! “eeEEEEHEHEHEHEHE! HAHAHAHAHA! NOHOHOHO SPIHIHIDERIHIHIHIHIHING!” William pleaded.
“Is poor Papa afraid of spiders?” Fritz teased.
“AHAHAHA LIHIHIHITTLE.” William replied.
“Oh no!” Fritz reacted, looking at the other kids with a wink. “Guess we’d better get more spiders crawling around, then.” Fritz replied, wiggling her fingers like spiders to show the kids what to do.
William’s eyes widened in fear as he stared at the kids’ signalling. He knew EXACTLY what they were planning, and he knew he was gonna love it, AND hate it all at once. Suddenly, all 5 kids spidered their fingers all over William’s sides, belly, ribs, hips, armpits and neck. William was laughing and wiggling around absolutely everywhere! It was hilarious for the kids to see him wiggling around like a fish out of water, and even MORE hilarious watching him wave away the spiders that weren’t really spiders.
“Hmm? What’s going on?” a voice asked. The kids suddenly stopped their tickle attack and looked to their right:
There, rubbing their eye, was the ghost of a tiny girl with long brown hair, and a red wound on the right side of her right chest. The rest of the ghosts flew over to her.
“Hi Charlie!” Cassidy greeted.
“Sorry Charlie.” Susie immediately apologized.
William was still quite giggly from the tickle attack. He was holding himself in the fetal position and letting out the leftover giggles that were still in his lungs. He didn’t even realize there was another ghost on the stage.
Charlie smiled at the two forts. “I see you guys are having fun.” Charlie said to them.
“We were playing war kingdoms!” Jeremy declared.
“And the girls won!” Susie added.
Charlie giggled. “That’s great!” she said.
Soon, William finally calmed down enough to sit himself up. “Who’s he-” William paused his words when he realized just who he was looking at. She was completely familiar to him. He knew this ghost all to well. But...How did…
Charlie turned to look at William and widened her eyes as well. She backed up slightly gasped in fear. “Get behind me.” Charlie ordered the rest of the ghosts.
“It’s okay, Charlie. He’s-” Jeremy tried.
“Behind me. Now.” Charlie ordered again, glaring at Jeremy.
Jeremy, and the rest of the ghosts went behind Charlie before Charlie threw her arms out to the side to guard them from the murderer. “Uncle. William. Afton.” Charlie said slowly, her strong voice covering up the fear she felt. “Father to Elizabeth and Michael...Best friends with my Father...And Co-founder of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.” Charlie explained.
William snapped out of his thoughts. “I...Charlotte-”
“CHARLIE.” she shot back.
William backed up slightly in fear, and looked away for a moment. “Ch...Charlie.” He said, growing more and more afraid of her.
Charlie noticed this and lightened up her facial expression. “Afraid?” Charlie asked.
William nodded his head. “And confused. I killed you outside the building. Why would you cling to the building?” William asked.
“You think I had a choice?” Charlie asked. She looked at the music box and pointed to it. “My soul possessed one of your animatronics.” Charlie explained. “That kept my soul in the Pizzeria.” She explained. “These souls possessed your animatronics too.” Charlie explained.
She started pointing to the kids and stating which animatronic they became.
She pointed to Jeremy first. “Bonnie.” Charlie said.
She pointed to Gabriel. “Freddy Fazbear.” Charlie said.
She pointed to Susie. “Chica.” Charlie said.
She pointed to Fritz. “Foxy.” Charlie said.
She pointed to Cassidy. “Golden Freddy.” Charlie said.
And lastly, she pointed to herself. “Marionette.” Charlie said.
William’s eyes widened in horror.
Then, Charlie looked to the souls. “You guys were tickling him. Spending time with him. Treating him...like he didn’t end your lives.” Charlie reacted calmly.
William looked away.
Fritz stepped up. “He feels remorse for what he did.” Fritz told her. “He apologized for ending our lives. The reason why he did it was because he wanted his own family.” Fritz explained.
William tensed his face. Charlie frowned and looked at William. “You had your own family! What was wrong with the family you had?!” Charlie asked.
William looked away.
“And I still don’t understand why you killed me.” Charlie added.
Fritz’s eyes widened. “He killed you too?!” Fritz reacted.
“Yes. I was his first murder.” Charlie replied.
“...Oh.” Fritz replied.
“...Well, he’s dead now too.” Gabriel told her.
“How? And why here, surrounded by the ghosts of the children you killed?” Charlie asked.
William looked up a little, but still refused to look at her. “I springlocked myself.” He replied. “I triggered the springlock suit in the office, and...died.” William replied.
“Why?” Charlie asked. “Did you finally feel bad about all the crimes you committed? Did you feel like you couldn’t handle jail life?” Charlie asked.
William slightly smiled. “I ended my life because I had nothing else left to lose.” William replied. “My daughter is dead, my youngest is dead, and my wife is dead too. Michael is the only one living at this point. Living with the guilt of his family, and struggling to make his own life out of the rubble I left him in.” William explained.
Charlie lifted her eyebrows slightly. “And how in the world did all that occur? Hm?” Charlie asked.
William frowned and glared at her. “You don’t deserve to know.” William shot at her. “I want you to know that keeping your death nice and quick was a mercy move I purposefully made. Your murder could’ve been much more painful.” William told her.
Charlie’s eyes widened in surprise. Did...did he really just say that? “And how was a 3 year old supposed to know that the way you killed me, was ‘merciful’?! How would you feel if my father came up behind you with a knife and ended your life without a second thought?!” Charlie yelled.
William softened his expression a little and looked away. He knew Charlie would be hurt. He knew Charlie would be angry at him if they reunited. He knew this all along. But William didn’t know that Charlie had become one with the pizzeria. He never knew.
...Perhaps he should’ve...

Can I request Y/N comforting Daniel after he has a nightmare?🥥
“No..wha..what are you all doing here?!” Through gritted teeth, Daniel glared at his bedroom window, watching the figures with glowing red eyes scratch the glass.
Somehow he could still hear their mechanical laughter, their humanlike groans and moans, and the clicks of their gears.
The CEO gulped nervously, keeping his phone outstretched and his thumb over the shock button.
They couldn’t taunt him like this. He was the reason they were even active right now! They had no right!
They were just dumb robots! They knew better than this...did they?
Suddenly, they cloaked themselves one by one…before manifesting in his own room and revealing themselves in a similar order: Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Baby, Balloon Boy, Springtrap, the Bare Endoskeleton, and finally Freddy himself. All covered in mud and scratches, their suits heavily damaged.
Somehow even Shadow Bonnie manifested in the room, surrounded by floating remnant–both of light and of shadow. He snickered silently, not even fazed by the flashlight shining on his face.
“WHAT DO YOU ALL WANT FROM ME?!!” Daniel screamed, his heart racing.
“We just wanted to visit!” Freddy chuckled. "I-I-I thought that's what we were made to do."
“Yet when we do as we're advertised t' do...this is how ye repay us?!” Foxy snarled in anger, scraping his hook against the wall. “Are we just things for ye to shock to yer heart’s delight an’ use for yer dirty work?!!”
“N-No..I..I didn’t use any of you!!” He shook his head frantically, holding out his phone more with shaking hands. "I've done nothing wrong!"
“Interesting you say that, since you seem…desperate to hide the truth from your loyal ”subscribers”,” Springtrap hissed as he limped towards him, eyes glowing white. “You could never wash the blood off your hands, Daniel. Trust me..I know very well what-”
“ENOUGH!” Daniel activated the shock button, a stream of blue electricity causing the decomposed rabbit to twitch violently and roar in pain…before seemingly slumping over.
For a moment he grinned, but his victory was not to last as Springtrap laughed and stood back upright.
“That was pathetic.”
“No..that’s not suppose to happen!!” He glared at his phone–only to see that the battery on the AR app was completely dead.
“Oh no!” Freddy jested as he and the others began surrounding him. “It seems y-y-you lost! What a shame."
He then laughed and played his trademark tune, as the rest of the animatronics joined in and began closing in on the now screaming male-
“Daniel!”
“GET AWAY FROM ME!!” With a gasp, Daniel sat upright in his bed. He was sweating profusely as he looked around, realizing there were no menacing animatronics trying to kill him.
Only you and Bonnie were there in his room.
“You okay?” You set a gentle hand on his shoulder. “You were screaming like anything. Bonnie woke up and-”
“C-Can he leave..please?” He whispered hoarsely, tears running down his face as he clutched the blankets. When he saw your look of confusion, he sniffled. “I-I don’t wanna see any animatronics right now.”
Nodding in understanding, you looked at Bonnie. He seemed to get the message, as he stood up and quietly walked out of the bedroom, making sure to close the door carefully on his way out.
You always wondered how he could get his ears through the doorways.
But as you turned back to Daniel, your smile faltered as you saw his face buried in his hands. “Had a nightmare about them?”
He just whimpered and nodded. “I..I don’t wanna go into detail. It was just so..violent and vivid..”
“You just want me to stay here?” You shuffled over, sitting beside him. He sniffled and hugged you tightly, closing his eyes as he felt you return the embrace.
His answer was clearly obvious.

What was your freddy's au about that it accurately predicted a bunch of stuff? What did it predict anyway?
So, the AU never really had an Over-Arching story, it was more like a bunch of mini-stories and scenes in a singular idea.
I came up with it when Fnaf 3 initially came out and came up with the idea that the Player Character was female, and from there the AU was born.
My specifically, the AU is centered around my MC, Charlie Afton, who is the daughter of William Afton (Charlotte, aka Charlie was her original name and I added the Afton part once it was canonized with Silver Eyes). She was the CEO of Fazbear Entertainment originally but after SL came out I updated it to her being the CEO of Afton Robotics with FE being a Subsidiary company of hers (so she still technically owns them). She was a tall and lanky red head with freckles that had learned all her mechanical skills from her father and her business sense from her father's best friend.
I had made it so her Dad had a best friend (I never decided on names since they were unimportant) that founded the Fazbear and Robotic companies as a join company after the popularity of the Diner (Freddy's Diner) made them realize there was a Market for the property. They made the pizzerias, event locations with animatronics, and even a few cartoons that were popular.
Charlie had a best friend, originally named Mary in the AU that was killed by William and became the one haunting the Puppet when she was still fairly young. She also had an older brother that took off as soon as he hit 18.
After her father and his friend (we'll call him Henry for simplicity sake) disappeared she was named the new CEO. Then her father's 'Legacy' was and she made sure to distance herself from him in the media.
She would often go incognito to work in the animatronic workshops and warehouses since she genuinely loved working on them and she even has her own private warehouse only she and her apprentice mechanic can get in, though it does have a Showroom where people can view the deactivated animatronics or 'relive' the Fazbear Fright stuff if they are brave enough. She also regularly goes out under a pseudonym in order to locate and move her father's old animatronics from abandoned sites or to get them from private collectors who dont realize the danger. Some animatronics that were at large she would have to lure in using fake pizzerias or similar sites using her father's or children's voice clips to lure them in, such as the Puppet.
The first main story was the introduction, with her as the guard in 3 keeping Springtrap at bay until her apprentice could sneak up and disable the animatronic, leading to them bringing Springtrap to her personal warehouse with William's other animatronics. From there I had it set that Charlie was actually more of a prolific serial killer than her father, she simply had a different target demographic and her mechanic apprentice was also her accomplice who had admired William's work. Her targets often being people she and her accomplice trick into going into the showroom at night and becoming a new 'Night Guard' to simulate the old games.
I had a bunch of animatronics she also made and used, such as a Wolf, Hippo, Frog, and Mouse. When Sister Location came out I retooled them to be Animatronics that Charlie had specifically made for private functions and events, with Ennard being a private animatronic for her that helped her with her work (he was more noodley/tentacle like similar I guess to Mangle) and his voice was specifically made to sound like William's.
She also did genuinely despise what her father did, but more because she thinks kids are to easy a target and adults give more challenges and thrills. She is also heavily interested in the curious property of the Animatronics ability to entrap souls and part of her killings are to replicate the trait from her father's animatronics.
Other characters would have included Mike Schmidt, who would have been working to uncover what Charlie was doing (he had a gut feeling but no proof), Veronica, a woman who had been one of William's accomplices during his prime and now works to being in bait for Charlie or be a 'fake' animatronic in a costume that uses a knife (it is a foxy knock off in the AU), and her brother that would would also play an antagonistic force after his son got killed by one of their dad's animatronics, and Henry who would also become allies with Mike to catch Charlie and her accomplices.
As you can probably tell, there are a lot of things I predicted XD
The existence of Book/Game Henry, Charlotte, Elizabeth, and the new Stitch Rabbit/Programmer Girl from Help Wanted/Security Breech though obviously I got a name switch around.
I also somehow correctly identified Henry's Daughter as being the spirit in the Puppet and Elizabeth being murderous like her father, and the fact that she had at least one sibling and that the Bite of '89 may have been a relative of Purple Guy's (the theory of the kid from 4, as the process shown is how I had the grandson set to die but replace older brother with School Bully).
Also the concept of making a fake Pizzaria to lure in and trap Animatronics (even getting down to specifically the puppet being one), that it was partially set up by a relative of Purple Guy, and that there is something about Purple Guy's Animatronics that is entraping souls (as revealed by the Funtime Diagrams), that they had animatronics that could be rented out for private functions, and that William would eventually "Team Up" with his daughter so to speak.
It was all based on headcanons and ideas I had and like I said I never had an over-arching plot to it, just small stories or ideas and pictures I did (like if you looked at a lot of the art with Charlie and the Animatronics you wouldnt actually know she was a pretty successful serial killer, and I had a lot of ideas about her true feelings and previous relationship with her Dad before he became Springtrap that I hinted at with Ennard above).
Some stuff changed when Sister Location came out (such as OC animatronics being replaced with the funtime animatronics, but the Rental Animatronic and unique property to cage souls was already there, and it is also what spawned my accomplice theory)
But yeah, that was the ideas behind it. I still sometimes doodle stuff for it, but nothing serious. I might do some stuff now to update it and what not thanks to Security Breach.

The Ghost and the Guard Finale - Alternate Ending
One of my AO3 readers suggested that I write a little AU where Elizabeth gets to go home with Michael and Charlie. That little AU turned into a 1400 word monstrosity that took 8 days to write ^_^ (ooooh but trust me, it was so worth it)
I hope you enjoy!
Michael trudges into the tiny salvage room, locking the door behind him to keep the rotting bunny suit he calls a father out.
“Mike? Is that you?”
The guard turns at the familiar voice, seeing Circus Baby looking back at him. She’s looking a little more worse-for-wear than the last time Michael saw her, but it’s still her. “Lizzie?”
“It is you!” To Michael’s surprise, Baby wraps her metal arms tightly around her older brother. It would’ve hurt, if Michael was still able to feel pain.
“God, Liz, I missed you so much.” Tears spring to Michael’s eyes. “I can’t believe you’re here.”
Baby moves back, looking him up and down. “You look awful. D-did… is that what we did to you?”
“It’s fine.” Michael pulls the sleeves of his jacket farther down, almost fully covering his gloved hands.
“Mike, I’m… I’m so, so sorry.”
“Look, Elizabeth. We’ve both done things we regret. We’ve both hurt people we cared about. But you have to realize, we’re siblings. We’ll always forgive each other.”
“Mikey… thank you.”
Leaning against the desk, both siblings sit against it, resting their heads on each other. After a moment, Baby turns to Michael, staring quizzically.
“Mike?”
“Yeah?”
“Weren’t you with Charlie the last time I saw you?”
The question hits Michael like a bullet to the heart. “Y-yeah, she was.”
A small smile creeps across Baby’s face. “I know where she is.”
“What?”
“Come on,” Baby pulls Michael to his feet, leading him out of the salvage room. “Before they get to her.”
They pause outside the door to the office, listening for noises.
“Just let us out there, and we’ll leave you be.”
“No! Stay back!”
Michael tries the door, but it’s locked. The animatronics inside don’t seem to notice the rattling of the doorknob.
“C-c-c-c-come on, Puppet. Let us out to play!”
“I said no.”
A crack rings through the tiny room, and then a tiny whimper.
“Unless you want me to tear you to tiny little pieces, I recommend you let me out.”
“Go ahead.”
With her claw, Baby splinters the door, revealing Lefty in the clutches of a grinning Springtrap, with the mangled Funtime Freddy standing next to them. “Put her down, Daddy.”
Baby points her open claw at Springtrap, who responds, voice dripping with poisoned honey. “Elizabeth, dear. I’m so happy to see you.” He grips Lefty’s throat tighter.
“She said, put her down.” Michael barks, aiming his taser at Springtrap’s head. Still in the grasp of Springtrap, Lefty’s eyes light up when they see Michael.
“Elizabeth,” Springtrap says, pointedly ignoring his son, “don’t listen to Michael. He’s lying to you. I’m the one that can help you, the one who can set you free. I can give you what you want.”
“Then why are you hurting Charlie? I don’t want that.”
“Darling, she’s trying to hurt us. She’s trying to keep us from our happiest day.”
“That’s because you don’t deserve one.” Michael leaps forward, tackling Springtrap. Lefty pushes their friend off, grabs the taser from his hand, and electrocutes Springtrap for much longer than necessary.
Lingering behind the three, Baby whispers, “Charlie, it’s okay.” Lefty jumps at her voice, and turns to look at their friends.
Lefty takes off their mask, revealing the Marionette trapped inside. “G-guys?” She quivers with pent-up fear and adrenaline. “Wha-- behind you!”
Behind the three, Molten Freddy leaps at Michael, but Baby smacks him out of the air, pinning him down with her claw.
“Charlie…” Michael stammers, “how… why…”
Struggling against Molten Freddy, Baby calls after them, “Guys, we have to get out of here. They aren’t staying down for much longer.”
“Mike, c’mon.” Michael’s still frozen, so the Marionette yanks on his arm.
“Charlie!” Baby yells, “H-help!”
Shoving Michael ahead of her, the Marionette turns toward Baby. “Mike, start running. Go!”
Michael knows very well that Charlie and Liz can handle themselves just fine without him (in fact, he might even be hindering them), but he still needs to stay, but glares from both Mari and Baby send him running out the door.
“Lemme take that off your hands,” The Marionette quickly walks over and shocks Molten Freddy with the taser, rendering it paralyzed.
Grabbing her hand, Mari pulls Baby to the door. “How’d you know I was here?”
“I could sense your presence.” Baby winks, but when Mari sighs, she answers, “I saw you when Michael brought me in.”
“Yeah, I figured.”
The Marionette and Baby find Michael outside the office, pacing anxiously. “How are we gonna get rid of them?” He asks.
Everyone says in unison, “Burn the place down.” They laugh.
Michael grins, pulling a lighter out of his coat pocket. “I guess arson runs in the family.”
“Oh, but I’m not—“ Mari turns away, embarrassed.
“Don’t be stupid, Lee.” Yanking the Marionette in between him and his sister, Michael beams at her. “You’re just as much of an Afton as the rest of us.”
“Yeah! You deal with the crap, you get the title.” Baby laughs, wrapping her arms around Mari.
Embarrassed, the Marionette starts pulling both of them to the door. “We’ll have time to be mushy later, losers. For now, let’s just focus on going home.”
“Ugh, fine.” Baby rolls her eyes, but she’s laughing.
Flicking the lighter on and off, Michael watches the flames dance in his hand. “May I do the honors?” It’s funny, the warm glow of the flickering fire makes Michael’s skin seem… almost human. You could touch it, if you want to. It wouldn’t hurt.
No. Michael pushes the practically maniacal thought back down, where it settled deep inside him with the others.
“Mike?” The Marionette asks, worried now. Behind her, Baby looks similarly concerned. “You can do it, okay?”
“Thank you.” His unnecessary breaths are coming faster and heavier now. Despite Michael’s best attempts, his mind is anything but blank as he walks toward the office door. When he’s right outside the office, Michael jams open the lighter, its’ tiny flame growing with desperation and hunger. Quickly, Michael unlocks the door, throws the lighter in, and locks it again, too afraid to see if the monsters were awake enough to see their fate.
What are you afraid of?
A lot of things, he replied. His father, mirrors, ice cream, the only two people in the world who cared about him realizing how much of a monster he was--
“Michael, let’s go.” Not giving him a choice, Baby picks him up and carries him over to the Marionette, who joins them as they leave the restaurant. They stall at the car door, however.
Mari turns to Baby. “Do you know how to drive?”
“No. Do you?”
“A little.”
“That’s not--”
Michael weakly glares at them. “I can do it, guys.”
“Quiet, you.” The Marionette responds teasingly. “We can all survive a car crash, anyway, so it doesn’t matter.”
Grinning proudly, Mari climbs into the driver’s seat, while Baby and Michael begrudgingly get in the back.
“That was awful. I think I’m gonna be sick.” Baby groans as she climbs out of the car.
Laughing, the Marionette calls after her, “You can’t vomit!” Mari turns to help Michael out of the car, but he’s already standing outside.
“I’m fine, Lee. I don’t need help.” Michael smiles, hoping that she’d believe the lie that he’d been telling himself his entire life. But the Marionette simply looks at him, eyes full of a mixture of melancholy and an emotion that Michael can’t quite describe.
After a moment, Baby recognizes her surroundings. Her heart quickens as memories, both painful and happy, come flooding back to her. “I didn’t know you moved back here!” Baby laughs, trying to distract herself.
From behind her, Michael replies, “It was just easier.”
An awkward silence settles over the group, and they make their way inside. The Marionette fiddles with her arm, trying to get the animatronic parts off, but they don’t budge.
“I’ll have to be at this with a screwdriver all night.” Mari sighs.
“I could take care of that.” Leaning over, Baby fingers the arm. “It may be a little dangerous, but…”
“With your claw?”
“No. Under no circumstances will I allow you to use your claw on Charlie’s arm. You could accidentally chop it off!” Michael interjects.
Grinning, Baby spits back, “Okay, Dad.” She pales as she realizes what exactly she called her brother. “Crap, Mike, I’m--”
Michael interrupts Baby with laughter. “You’re such a moron, Liz. I love you.”
“I’m still gonna do it.” Baby chirps back.
“You will not!” The Marionette shrieks, running ahead of them. “Get that thing away from me!”
Chasing after her, Baby yells, “I’ll catch you!”
“I’d like to see you try!”

Schoolgirl with a Secret - Part 1
Okay, this is where I kinda shrug my ass off because I started drabbling, and honestly, I liked the start of this a lot, so I’ll be continuing it on my own time.
Basically, it’s heavily based on a verse for one of my OCs, Magdalena Parks ( Michael Afton’s daughter ) in a Miketrap verse, 11 years after he’s been springlocked, and 15 years after she was born. I actually have RP blogs for them both ( @fivenightsleft for Miketrap, @strodehellfire for Magdalena ), with Magdalena’s starting off with another fic entirely.
I’ll likely post drabbles from the universe she was originally for, but that’ll be another time. Just look out for anything with “Magdalena’s Inferno” if you’re interested.
Now for the drabble!
“Eleven years, huh?” The dark-haired woman shone her flashlight around the hallway, stepping forward as she did so. Her free hand moved to her walkie-talkie, bringing it close to her mouth before she spoke. “Freddy’s really had a time, hasn’t he?”
“Yeah, I’m surprised nobody’s already looted the place,” a male voice crackled. “HQ figured they’d send you out since you worked on the Fazbear case previously, so—”
“Mostly Afton.”
“Right. Mostly Afton, but you too.” A pause. “You think you’ll find anything related to that here, Parks?”
Parks sighed. “No. I think my leads dried up a long time ago on that front.” She shook her head, walking down the hallway as she continued. “Too many closed locations. Too much history to try pinning anything down. The Afton family is either dead or missing, and I don’t know what to make of it.”
“You think Afton...you know...”
“Not a chance. He wanted to find their killer, and he said he was sure he had a lead. Michael wouldn’t do that, Jones. I knew him, he wouldn’t—” Parks bit her lip, the last words sounding too desperate for her to tolerate. She took a breath, then let it out. Calm down, Parks. “...I know he’s not the killer.”
“...right. You know I trust your judgment, Parks. I barely knew Afton—hell, I think you were the only one close to him.” A noise bubbled across the connection, something akin to shuffling papers. Either Jones was finally starting his paperwork, or he was simply shrugging. “Anything unusual in your sights?”
Parks turned a corner, about to answer before she spotted several objects on the floor.
Animatronic parts. All four of the animatronics had been dismantled, their parts in disheveled piles in the room. As she shone her flashlight upwards, she spotted that a wall had been boarded up; it looked more recent than the rest of the place, but not by much. The wood looked to have begun rotting, the water damage of the pizzeria beginning to erode it.
“Parks? Parks, you read me?”
Shakily, Parks lifted the walkie-talkie. “Jones, is there a room in the back of the pizzeria, near the restrooms?”
“Uhhhhh...let me check that.” The shuffling of papers accompanied the crackling, and Jones’s voice rung out a few moments later. “Looks like it! Should be a safe room. Fortified in case of emergencies. You know the drill.”
She pocketed the walkie-talkie, before glancing around for something to batter the wood with. Besides the animatronics, she spotted some pieces of wood, heading over to check them.
Most of them were just planks, useless for breaking much of anything. However, she found a beam in the pile, finding it weighty enough to bash, while just enough to not tax her limits too much. Even so, Parks had to set aside her flashlight, using one of Foxy’s arms to prop it so she could see the wooden barrier.
When she was ready, she silently counted down, before charging the door, the beam hitting it and causing the barrier to audibly crack.
It took several more charges before she could make a hole, and she had to find a crowbar to finish tearing it down. By the time she had a human-shaped hole in the wood, she was breathing heavily, sweat dripping down her face.
“Parks! Parks!”
She waited a moment before bringing the walkie-talkie to her. “Jones?”
“What was all that noise? Geez! Making me worry over here.”
“Bringing the barrier down. We’re supposed to investigate this place, right?”
“Yeah, but geez, at least tell me you’re going to break shit.”
“Right, right. I’m heading in.”
“Got it.”
Parks pocketed the walkie-talkie again, shining her flashlight into the saferoom as she toed in. There really wasn’t much in the room, but something slumped in the corner did catch her eye.
A rotting animatronic suit. She was sure that it used to be gold, but now it looked like a strange golden-green. Wires stuck out from its body, one of its ears severed, and the scent of decay reached her nose. This must’ve been one of the springlock suits that had been floating around during the investigation but rumored to have been artifacts from the diner that started it all.
It seemed like the rumors were true, in more than one way. Whichever unlucky sap had gotten his ass trapped in it was probably regretting it.
With another glance around, Parks stepped closer to the animatronic, lowering to one knee to get a better look at it.
It looked worse up close. Holes littered its body, revealing what appeared to be organs, and...were those silver eyes staring at her?
Before she could move, the animatronic did so first, its head rearing up and causing Parks to yelp and shine the flashlight into its eyes.
“W-wait!” The animatronic held up a hand, shielding its face from the light. “S-sorry, we...I haven’t had anyone...here in a long time...”
“Eleven years. W-we’re aware.” The voice sounded familiar, jarringly so. Even so, Parks swallowed, lowering the flashlight to allow the creature to look around. “Didn’t think there were any more that were haunted.”
The animatronic paused, before it lifted its gaze up towards her. It tilted its head, those silver eyes squinting, before it spoke again. “N-Naomi...?”
“What? H-how do you know my name?” Parks knew why, there was a sinking feeling of that, but she didn’t want to think about it. If it was true, that meant there would be so many questions, so many answers that she’d thought she had completely obliterated. “Who are you?”
“I-it’s...it’s me...Michael.”
Michael (or “Springtrap”, as he called himself now) proved to be rather cooperative in providing the information he had gathered. Naomi had to shut off the walkie-talkie to take notes, but not before reassuring Jones that she knew what she was doing.
When they finished, though, they sat together in silence. Naomi felt herself lean against Springtrap, stiffening at the animatronic’s arm wrapping around her, before relaxing. It was Michael. Sort of. He wouldn’t hurt her, not after giving so much vital information for the case.
“You said you were probably going to die.” Naomi’s voice was hushed, as if speaking too loudly would wake her up from whatever dream she was in. “I...technically did. Twice, if you want to count the...s-springlocking as a death.”
“And you’re still here.”
“Yes.”
“You...we have a daughter. That last time, before you left...”
Springtrap paused, before giving Naomi a gentle squeeze. “I’m...s-sorry I didn’t stay for her...or you.”
“But you can be with her now.”
“...but what about—”
“We’ll take care of finding William. You’ve done more than enough for the case, and if we can track him down and take care of him, then we can be a family again.”
“Even...like this?”
“Even like this.”

"They Thought I Was You" + the Purple Guy Sprites Prove SL Comes Before FNAF 2/1987
The recent confirmation of Willtrap was important enough on it’s own, but it also comes with a major implication when it comes to the Purple Guy sprites.
As I’ve pointed out before, Vlad in the Immortal and the Restless represents Purple Guy throughout the games:
Episode 1/FNAF 1: Nothing, just talking about the baby. Purple Guy did not appear in FNAF 1.
Episode 2/FNAF 2: “You work the graveyard shift at the Fry Me Taco!“ = the Purple Guy being a night guard in FNAF 2′s “SAVE THEM“ minigame.
Episode 3/FNAF 3: “The joke’s on you, because I set the house on fire!“ and “You burned down my house?” “It was like a morgue in there“ = the burning of Fazbear’s Fright with Springtrap in it.
Episode 4/FNAF SL (Fake Ending): Vlad and Clara make up, reflecting Michael not getting killed by Ennard in this ending.
Tumblr media
Willtrap confirms that Vlad represents William himself due his house burning in episode 3. (Note: While episode 4 reflects Michael’s actions, Ennard believes Michael is William, so the parallel is still correct).
So what does this mean? In short, it means that William is not only Springtrap, but also the night guard sprite in FNAF 2. Likewise, it presumably means the sold-called “Pink Guy“ sprites are him as well, seeing as we outright see that one killing kids.
But this brings us to the question: Why are the “Pink Guy” and Purple Guy sprites in FNAF 2 different, and why does the SAVE THEM sprite look almost exactly like Michael post-scooping?
Tumblr media
Michael looks the way he does because he started to rot over time after his not-death, loosing weight (mostly due to lack of insides) and gaining the tell-tale white-on-black eyes that usually indicate possession. So logically, if William looks the same way by FNAF 2... then he also must have died at some point.
TSE, despite being an AU, contains a major plot point that lines up with this perfectly. It’s established that while William was alive, he was overweight. It’s also confirmed during the scene where Clay looks through his file that this was the time he killed the kids.
However, when Charlie and co. meet him, he’s completely different and going under the name “Dave Miller”. He’s lost weight, and discusses at length the fact that he can’t die, even calling himself one of [the ghosts]:
“They’ll kill you, too,” Jessica said.
“No, I am quite confident that I will survive.”
[…] “And what makes you think they won’t kill you?” John said again, and Dave’s face took on something shining, almost beatific.
“Because I am one of them,” he said.
It’s revealed that he has springlock wounds all over his body, something which he obviously couldn’t have survived. When he describes what springlocks due to a person, it’s obvious he’s already died once to them:
“You’ll try to scream, but you will be unable to: your vocal cords will be severed, and your lungs will fill with your own blood until you drown in it.” There was a faraway look in his eyes, and Carlton knew with chilling certainty that Dave wasn’t predicting. He was reminiscing.
Indeed, this is further implied in TTO, wherein it’s revealed that the blood from his springlocking was fake - thus implying he was never properly alive to begin with.
How does this link back to the games? The notion of William killing the kids before his not-death lines up perfectly with our “Pink Guy“ sprite - the one that is shown killing the kids that’s heavier in weight.
Tumblr media
And Dave worked as a night guard, then got springlocked - just like our thinner, half-dead Purple Guy sprites in FNAF 2 and 3.
Tumblr media
Now let’s get to the point: Why does this matter? Because during the SL Custom Night cutscene, Michael says this:
They didn’t recognize me at first, but then… they thought I was you.
Indeed, this lines up with what we see in SL - Baby doesn’t recognize Michael at first (”I don’t recognize you. You are new.”), but believes he’s William by the end of the game (”Isn’t this why you came here? To be with her again?”).
Here’s the thing, however: We know that William was immortal by the time of FNAF 2 thanks to SAVE THEM (arguably by FNAF 4, as the badge most likely indicates this Purple Guy’s the owner, but I digress). So how would Baby mistake the living Michael for a thin undead corpse?
Even if you wanted to argue that Dave in TSE wasn’t that noticeably undead (compared to Michael), there’s another line here that doesn’t line up if we try to put SL after FNAF 2/1987:
You won’t die, and it will only hurt for a moment.
If Baby believed Michael was William, and William was already immortal at the time, then why would she tell him something he already clearly knew?
The only way all this dialogue makes sense is if SL comes before FNAF 2: Baby mistakes Michael for William and tells him he won’t die because William hasn’t died yet.
Likewise, this also explains why the Custom Night minigames show Michael slowly decaying into something similar to the FNAF 2 sprite despite him not being any of the Purple Guys: Scott was using the events of SL to explain what happened to William.
TL;DR: The Immortal and the Restless tells us the FNAF 2 sprites and the FNAF 3 sprites are the same character, IE William. The SAVE THEM sprite matches Michael’s, indicating William had become immortal at some point - which lines up with Dave’s immortality in TSE. Baby wouldn’t mistake Michael for a corpse, nor would she inform an already undead person that they can’t die, so therefore SL must take place before FNAF2/William’s death.

Angel sniffles softly as she’s scooped up into Springtrap’s arms, letting herself curl up into them as best she can while Cassidy follows, Cassidy still being entirely silent. She’s in shock over so many things now...the fact that all of that really just happened, the fact that she said all of those things to Springtrap and truly meant it, how close Angel got to getting killed. It’s all just so much...she never pictured this before. She never pictured herself actually liking Springtrap, enough to call him a dad...enough to confidently say he’s better than her “real” parents were, despite him killing her in the first place.
She never really did tell him how right he was in thinking she wasn’t in a good home back then. She truly wasn’t. Her parents were terrible to her, often yelling at her or hitting her if she didn’t do something right...when William killed her, it got her out of an abusive hellhole that she probably would’ve been killed in. She never really acknowledged it until now...
...she should definitely talk to him about it when they’re not so upset already. Or maybe now would be a good time? She isn’t sure. It’d be the most relevant...but no, not yet. She needs to let Angel and Springtrap have time to feel better...they need some time. So does she...it’s another thing she knows she’ll have a hard time saying. Back then, she got so angry at him because he was right in thinking she was in an abusive home and she didn’t want to give him that reasoning. She didn’t want him to know so he could say he was right on something. But now, with that promise of a big happy family being fulfilled...
...seems like he was right on a lot of things, in hindsight.
She stays by the two when Springtrap sets Angel down in the back, sniffling a little as she tries to calm down. She looks up as they get in the van, seeing Jay look back at them with a sympathetic smile. Or...Chris? It’s hard to tell who’s fronting right now...or is it both of them? Their expression shifts to slightly annoyed when everyone’s situated, Deacon staying behind to assess what’s going on in the building and to call for help for the people inside. Chris sighs, glancing away while they keep their head out.
“...look, I don’t like. Really give a damn, but...ugh. Fine, I’ll just say it. I’m glad you guys are okay and all. I mean yeah you’re all sad and sappy and all that right now, but...eh. I’m glad you’re fine. Just...take that,” they grumble, then their expression shifts again, Jay speaking now, based on their slightly higher pitched voice and their Dutch accent being thicker. “What Chris means to say is...we’re both glad you guys are alright. They’re just a little cranky because they don’t like showing that they have emotions. So they’re being a little snippy about it. You know them, don’t take it too personally. The fact that they care enough to say they’re you guys are okay is a good thing...even if it’s a bit backhanded,” Jay explains, smiling. “You two will be okay. Aerin explained the situation to Skylar, and he got back to Angel’s place to let the kids know what was happening, but that everything’s fine now. As soon as I drop you guys off at home, I’m gonna have to skedaddle because I don’t wanna get Angel sick. Last thing she needs is a cold while she’s pregnant. So just chill here for a bit and I’ll get you two home,” they continue, then they turn their attention to the wheel. Starting the vehicle and driving off, they set off to get Angel and Springtrap home.
Angel can’t really form words right now, only nodding at Jay’s words and softly squeezing Springtrap’s hand. She’s so lucky she made it out alive...she’s so lucky he got there when he did. She’s so lucky he cares enough to save her. She’s lucky she has him at all, really...really lucky. She sniffles a bit and wipes at her eyes again, still being mindful of the cut on her cheek. She pulls a part of a seat in the back down, revealing a secret compartment...it’d normally have a cup holder, but Jay had refashioned it to hold a spare med kit. She takes it out and only lets go of Springtrap’s hand to pick up a large bandage and put it on her bleeding cheek (after wiping away the blood and getting the wound cleaned, of course). Once she does that, she sets the dirtied gauze, tissue, and packaging for the bandage into the trash nearby, putting the unused medical supplies away. She puts the kit back in the compartment quickly, soon grabbing Springtrap’s hand again, though she takes one of his with both of hers, her hands still shaking. She doesn’t really speak much, just pulling his hand up to her bruised cheek and holding it there for now. It didn’t take the pain away, but it made her feel a lot better to have his huge, fur-covered hand there than to keep remembering the feeling of Vanny’s hand hitting her. It didn’t totally eliminate that either...but it helps. A lot.
It takes a good fifteen minutes since Jay has to be careful while driving, but eventually the group reaches Angel’s home. By the time they get to the door, Skylar’s yanked it open, having heard the two coming up. He’d told the kids a brief overview of what was going on...that Angel had been taken, but Springtrap was working to get her back. He got the text from Deacon that Angel and Springtrap were coming home but needed some space...but he couldn’t just let them go away again without hugs. His bright red eyes are glossy and wide, tears still streaming down them as he sees his injured but alive mother and his giant rabbit of a dad at the door. A look of panic quickly changes to a look of pure relief as he sniffles and pulls the two inside, shutting the door behind them and pulling them both into a hug that’s quickly joined by Charlie, though she waits for the other kids to come in to join first if they want to. She hugs Cassidy in particular on her own, then she hugs the rest of the group, shaking. She’s silent as she cries...but she’s definitely crying too.
Skylar and Angel say nothing for a bit...they just stay there, sniffling and quietly crying as they hold onto each other and anybody else that joins.
The 5’3” brunette woman looks up at the oddly familiar-looking, rather grotesque, decayed version of the bunny mascot she once saw dancing around on a stage as a child, looking at him with a very confused look on her soft, rounded face, as though trying to figure out what the hell to say. “S-so uhm. Are you a-actually Spring Bonnie?” she stammers, a very soft voice coos out, a rather thick but pretty English accent quite noticeable. [[ cry-away-the-monsters ]]
“…Technically. I was once Spring Bonnie, I always wore this suit. It was mine…now I’m trapped in it forever. I call myself Springtrap now.” He responded, standing much taller than the woman, seeing as he was 7 foot. “It’s not so bad, I get to live forever and be something else…” He noticed how she had the same accent at him, it was not too often he met anyone around from where he was born. “You shouldn’t be here though, it’s dangerous…”

FNAF 1 with the plot of Sister Location
I got this idea a few days back, and now that I've taken the time to think about it I might as well post it.
Mike Schmidt is still the security guard (and not a technician). There's limited free-roam in that you can walk to the doors and actually stand out in the hallway during sections where you're stuck in the office. The original gang is still in the same places, and in Foxy's case the same state of disrepair. The layout of the restaurant hasn't changed much, asides from the addition of an air vent directed at the office and the removal of the door lights (they've been replaced by a flashlight). The monitor tablet is still there.
Now for the plot.
Night 1:
Phone Guy's call is pretty much the same, but instead of being a recording he's talking to Mike in real time. Mike does his job with the cameras and watching the animatronics, and though they do wander close to the office it's impossible to die on Night 1. While Bonnie and Chica both move, Freddy stays completely still, never even staring at the camera, and is far more hidden in shadow to the point where he can barely be seen. At around 5 AM, Phone Guy calls again to tell Mike that he can leave early for the night, prompting a section where the player controls Mike to walk through one hall (you're given a redundant choice, as it doesn't matter which one you leave through) and dining area to the exit. As he leaves, he turns to look over the place one last time and sees that Freddy has moved for the first time, staring directly at him from the darkness.
Night 2:
Phone Guy calls Mike again to tell him that's he's doing great and encourages him to keep up the great work. He notes briefly that the animatronics have been acting a little off and tells Mike to watch his back before hanging up. Bonnie and Chica have AI settings similar to the original Night 2, and while Foxy does glare at the camera he never runs for the office. Around 4 AM, Mike hears what he believes to be shattering glass, prompting a section in which the player must choose a hallway to walk down (the decision not being arbitrary this time) and then go through the dining area, with Foxy wandering among the tables and the light needing to be off to avoid catching his attention. The noise of glass breaking was from Bonnie punching the glass doors and creating a relatively large hole, and when he sees Mike he chases him. Panicked, Mike ends up hiding in one of the stalls in the female bathroom, and Freddy speaks for the first time to Mike, telling him that he must swap between stalls by sliding along the floor, since Bonnie never looks down. Bonnie grows disgruntled eventually and mutters something about "can't get anything done while he's watching me" before leaving. Once he's gone, Freddy informs Mike that his shift is over and that it's best if he leaves now, which Mike does.
Night 3:
Phone Guy does his usual spiel before hanging up, and the night begins like normal, with Bonnie and Chica similar to their AI settings on the original Night 4 and Foxy suspiciously absent. Though Freddy can be heard laughing, he's never seen on any cameras. The night doesn't advance until the player checks the camera for the Dining Hall, at which point Foxy's hook can be seen lying on one of the tables. The power then cuts off abruptly, and Mike calls Phone Guy in a panic. Phone Guy tells Mike that he'll contact the power company and see what he can do. Mike sits in the darkness helplessly for a few moments until Freddy tells him to hide under his desk in case Bonnie or Chica come in. Freddy informs him that, when Phone Guy comes back, he'll say that he couldn't get them to pick up and that Mike will have to go outside and turn on the backup generator to restore power. Freddy says that Phone Guy will tell him that, to avoid triggering Foxy, he must move slowly and keep his light off at all times. According to the animatronic, this will kill Mike, since Foxy is much faster than anyone realizes, and Freddy instead advises that Mike move quickly (but use his light sparingly as Phone Guy advised). Phone Guy calls Mike's phone again and tells him just what Freddy predicted he would say. As always, Mike must carefully choose a hallway and run through the dining area. Foxy has taken his hook off and is racing around between the tables screeching the occasional threat. Mike goes out to the back of the building to hook up the generator, restoring power to the building, and walks back to his office. There's a disturbing lack of animatronics as he's going, and as Mike sits back down Chica erupts from the vent and jumpscares him.
Night 4:
Mike awakens inside a suit (Springtrap) sitting on a table in the backstage. Freddy informs him that he kidnapped him to keep him safe and gives a similar monologue to Baby in the original Sister Location. Two technicians bring Foxy into the backstage, briefly discussing the company's motives for finally getting rid of Foxy, before deactivating him and leaving him there. Freddy tells Mike that he'll have to unwind the suit head enough to get out on his own while keeping the other springlocks wound up, advising him that if Bonnie or Chica come in he should hide his head under the lower jaw of the suit and pretend to be an empty suit. Mike then spends six minutes of game time slowly climbing out of the suit and pulling the costume's lower jaw up whenever Bonnie or Chica come in, running out of the building in terror after he's freed.
Night 5 Real Ending:
Phone Guy profusely apologizes to Mike about the events of the prior night and the fact that he has to spend one more day here despite having quit after the last night (management wrote a clause into the contract involving staying one more day to work after quitting). He tells Mike that nobody's been in the building today aside from the dayshift guard (the building is closed due to it being a national holiday) and that if the day guard is still in there, Mike needs to kick him out. On entry, the day guard can be clearly seen hanging from the doorway to the west hall. Mike goes to where Freddy is standing on the stage and demands answers from him, to recieve a cryptic response about the passage of time. (If one looks closely, it can be seen that Freddy has no eyes, and his endoskeleton has been replaced by some simple metal bars.) "Freddy" tells Mike to take an SD card from him, take a tablet from backstage, and plug it in so he can continue to guide him. The lights are all off except for the one in the west hall and stage, and Freddy instructs him to keep it that way and keep his flashlight off, as the other three animatronics will be roaming and be far more dangerous than before, guiding Mike towards Pirate's Cove, where he claims all will be revealed. Mike enters to see a horrifying amalgamated animatronic (resembling the titular creature from The Joy of Creation: Story Mode) wearing Golden Freddy's suit head and outfitted with spikes and sharp bits similar to the Nightmare animatronics. (It's referred to in the extras as "New Fredbear.") Foxy, devoid of his costume, most of his face, and hook, stands silently behind the creature. Still speaking in Freddy's voice, the animatronic tells Mike that they all know who he is and what he's done, and though they've all tried to kill him it would be traced back to them as the culprits in the end. They say that the only way to be sure that they can keep entertaining and protecting the children is to ensure that he continues on under their control, with the message being clear that, since Foxy was already going to be scrapped, nobody will find it strange when his endoskeleton vanishes. New Fredbear tells Mike that despite what he did, they'll try to make his death as painless as possible, before lunging with a horrifying jumpscare. Subsequently, a first-person cutscene is shown in which Mike walks out of the building, giving the three now-reassembled (though showing some clear tears on their suits and protruding parts) animatronics on the stage a brief salute before getting into his car. He adjusts the mirror, showing Mike's silhouette but with Foxy's eyes, and the animatronic mutters briefly that if one of the others gets scrapped at least this song and dance will be easier next time. It then cuts to the credits, leaving it ambiguous what Mike did or if he was even ever guilty in the first place.
Night 5 Fake Ending:
To get the fake ending, Mike must simply continue walking past Pirate's Cove while Freddy is giving instructions and go into his office. He must then survive six hours with the amalgamation of Freddy, Chica, and Bonnie attempting to kill him alongside Foxy's stripped-down endoskeleton. New Fredbear aims for both doors, while Foxy lingers before suddenly either sprinting to the left door or heaving himself through the front air vent. (Should he do this, the player must shift out of his path into the right hallway, letting Foxy's momentum carry him out into the left hall, at which point the door must be closed on him.) The cameras are all down, with the player relying on audio cues and the occasional check of the hallways or vent, and it is intentionally a process of trial and error. Once Mike survives, a first-person cutscene occurs in which he races from the building and jumps in his car. As he prepares to drive away, something grabs him from behind, and he turns his head frantically to see Foxy's endoskeleton. The animatronic snarls "Didn't think you could get away, did you?" before slamming the stump of his arm into Mike's face. Cut to credits.
Night 5 Blaze Ending:
To get this ending, the player must have previously got both the true and fake endings. An option will appear to turn and run while the amalgamation is giving its speech, and Mike will run to backstage and hide inside the Springtrap suit. This cues a first-person cutscene in which New Fredbear enters the room and surveys it briefly. Mike remains silent and unmoving... at least, until the springlocks come loose. New Fredbear coldly makes a generic pun before walking out. Dragging himself along the floor, Mike pulls himself across the floor to the kitchen and manages to turn on one of the gas ovens and ignite the kitchen, laughing himself to death as he, New Fredbear, Foxy's endoskeleton, and the pizzeria go up in flames. It's left ambiguous if any of them survived.

You mentioned fucked up weird AUs in your one post? I'm interested. Tell me about your favourite one(s)!!
AAAaaaah thank you so much!!
Uhhhhhhh heck most of them involve N turning into some horrible Thing because he’s the Estranged Outsider with a Connection to the Bad Guys Even If It’s Not Willingly (yknow like how Eren from snk is a titan shifter or Rin from blue exorcist is part demon) and all of them involve vuvuzelashipping (Nxall the Nuvema lot) I don’t really have a single favourite but I’ll summarize the ones I like most (also note that some of them are good dad Ghetsis/Dadsis aus because u gotta balance out the angst somehow plus dadsis aus are Cool)
Under the cut because I literally can’t summarise for shit and I’m sure no one wants to scroll past 3 pages worth of this (mobile users I apologise since the app is SHIT and refuses to even acknowledge these)
Also here’s a bit of an index so u can skip to ones that sound interesting instead of going through them all but first u should ask nationalharmonica about her aus bc I love all of hers and they’re awesome and need more love and she also helped with alot of these aus too!! ESPECIALLY the Dragonflower au which I won’t include here because I think she has it on her blog somewhere already.  If ur wondering why I haven’t posted any of these it’s because a) i have neither the skill, time or patience to draw up proper references for all of the characters involved and b) I’m always worried theyll seem too Out There for some people but here we go au masterpost i guess, if anyone reading would like more info feel free to ask!!!
Bacterial Contamination inspired au aka bacterial pestileNce
BotW au
Ib au
PMMM au (the longest one)
Plasma/Aether swapover, N wins+UB monochromeshipping au
Simple fNaf dadsis au
sister locatioN dicksis au (yes I have two for that because I only found out about the secret springtrap cutscene at the end of SL that changes everything the other day)
Nombie (dadsis) au
isolatioN au- Au based on the song Bacterial Contamination.  N goes to the snobbiest most pretentious school you can imagine only because his ex mafia boss dad wants the best for him.  N hides the fact he’s being relentlessly bullied until a teacher phones Ghetsis up asking why N is in such a state whenever he comes into school (BC bruises and cuts and looking roughed up in general).  N goes to therapy and gets meds but surprise they’re an experimental drug and he’s a bug boy now
- BotW au where Touya is Link, Cheren as Revali, Bianca is Mipha and Touko is Zelda.  Ghetsis (who is kinda like Demise if he hung around to make sure his curse worked) is the king of a neighboring region who’s a bit of a warmongering asshole but his son N is friends with princess Touko and her…ahem, associates, which is the only reason Touko’s dad stays civil with him at all.  He uses this to his advantage and infects N with the Malice and reveals his plan to take over Unova, knowing fine well that N would run away to Touko for help.  The truth is he’d set up N to be a ticking time bomb and eventually he becomes the Calamity.  After the whole ~100 year coma and releasing the divine beasts~ thing Touya only remembers who N is after killing him but dw there’s a blood moon just as Touko is sealing the Malice away and N’s freed spirit is brought back to become a friendly giant fluffy spider boy just because I said so
- Ib au with N as Mary (obv Ghetsis is Guertena) except instead of going crazy and trying to kill everyone and being burned up and dying himself the toutous make him sit in the frame while they drag it out of the portal to the real world: problem solved.  I have all this stuff about the others being able to step into his frame but he can’t leave unless someone else draws him so he can possess the drawing but I won’t go into it here BC this post is gonna be long enough already
-Okay I have two madoka aus because possibilities for N are Ndless but I’ve only really developed the dicksis version whereas I only have a witch design for a possible dadsis version so here’s the dicksis one.  The first: Ghetsis is kinda like Walpurgisnacht and N was originally a familiar that represented Ghetsis’ interest being only in things that directly oppose him who was becoming powerful enough to become a witch of his own.  Not wanting him to have even a fraction of power himself Ghetsis transformed him into a human shape, gave him sentience and intelligence and as close to a pure heart as possible so he would be easier to manipulate and led him to believe that magical girls/boys hunt down innocent witches for fun and have witches trapped in their soul gems and tasks N with stealing people’s soul gems to ‘free the witch inside’.  The problem is that the alteration gave N the mindset of ‘innocents who aren’t involved must be protected at all costs’ rather than Ghetsis’ mindset of ‘don’t give a fuck about anyone unless they’re a problem’.  N is also sent to integrate into human society so that he can find magical peepos easier so he ends up coincidentally going to school with the Nuvema kiddos.  He ends up becoming friends with them until he finds out Cheren and Bianca are magicas (I’m just gonna call them that for simplicity) but even though the toutous arent magicas they still support them which is all very upsetting and conflicting for N but he tries his best to protect the witches and steal more soul gems until the others eventually call him out on it and prove to him that the shit Ghetsis told him is bull.  When he goes to confront him about it it’s too late, Ghetsis has absorbed enough witches to become a Walpurgisnacht-like entity, and finally allows N to become a witch.  I’ll link the drawings I’ve done of him but basically his labyrinth would be like a puppet theater and even tho hes the witch he’d have this fuckin giant messed up ghetsis-lookin puppet master familiar who pulls at his strings and coordinates his attacks.  There’d be an audience of masked figures that look like all the magicas he’s caused the deaths of, tiny animals with scissors to represent his wish for freedom and also his fear of his ‘father’ since they never actually get to cut the strings holding him up, and figures that look a heck of a lot like the nuvema kiddos watching in a balcony.  This is all tied into a theory I came up with that almost all the witches are able to be saved since yknow how Homura had that figure of Madoka locked away and Madoka was able to bring her back, and how Sayaka had the violin guy and Charlotte had that doll that probably represents her dead mother? My guess is that if the people those figures represent are brought to the witch and reach out to them the magical girl inside would be able to be freed.  But yeah since N was never really a human the Nuvema kiddos can only really save a fraction of his conscious and he ends up like Bebe.  They all beat the shit out of Ghetsis and everyone lives happily ever after with their pocket witch bf
- the au where 1) plasma and aether are sort of swapped around and 2) N beats the toutous in the final battle.  This is actually based on nationalharmonica’s courtesaN au which is awesome BTW (but it doesn’t involve actual courtesans or N being a courtesan at all but its Sarah’s au so if you’re interested you should totally ask her about it).  Ghetsis keeps Touko and Touya prisoner and just to rub it in their faces blackmails Cheren and Bianca into joining and doing sciency experiment shit which ends up with Touko and Touya becoming UB fusions/hybrids themselves; Touya with Kartana and Touko with Celesteela.  Ofc in the later stages they are able to destroy their place of confinement and escape with Cheren and Bianca to find N who becomes understandably fucked off and upset that his friends have been put through all this shit but begs them not  to kill Ghetsis so he can ask what’s going on.  When he does Ghetsis stabs him with a syringe full of UB fusion shit because he knows fine well hes gonna die he just wanted a final ‘fuck you’ before he is killed by both fire and paper cuts.  Surprise! It’s a Guzzlord.  N becomes a big squishy boy. I’ve done drawings of N in human Guzzlord fusion/hybrid form but I’ve been afraid of posting it but uh if anyones interested i will
- Simplified fNaf dadsis au - basically N and the Nuvema kiddos are the ones that were killed and stuffed in the animatronics, Ghetsis owns the place but risks going bankrupt pouring money into helping find the culprit and also his son and his friends when they’ve been stuck in the one restaurant he kept open to stay afloat.  Nate is the new nightguard and they decide to fuck with him to get rid of some of the boredom of being alone together in the one building for like…30 years or so.  In the end they fess up and make Nate pizza as an apology and they’re chill again
- sister locatioN dicksis au - I already summarised a thing i wrote of it in response to an anon but I’ll include here too.  Once again Ghetsis owns all the shit with the animatronics.  Anthea and Concordia get killed by one of them when they were young so years later Ghetsis sends N down to ‘free’ them (surprise he only wanted to get rid of N) but since their spirits have been fused into one hideous amalgamation of animatronics they’ve gone a bit loopy and want to leave.  The whole scooping room thing ensues and they accidentally turn their brother into a zombie
- Nombie au bc Z is a sideways N heheh I ahven’t thought up much of the background for it but it involves Plasma being a pharmaceutical company that is sort of accidentally being the cause of it.  N gets separated from his dad who ends up being the leader of a large group of people in a little town sort of thing they were able to reclaim but is Sad bc he thinks his son is dead which ends up being half true bc surprise N is half immune and ends up being a conscious zombie boy who wears a curtain as a cloak so he doesnt immediately frighten people bc he got his eye shot out by hillbilies, his face scratched up, his throat bitten out and his heart impaled on a pole (hes a freak without a human heart geddit) zombie apocalypse stuff happens
- isolatioN au - basically spawned from the thought of ’what if N was kept even more hidden away/locked up/never even left at all’.  Plasma is instead secretly in the Pokemon poaching/hunting/selling business but are disguised as…well you already know about Plasma.  The nuvema kiddos had varying levels of rough childhood and were desperate for money so they all joined up; the toutous as night guards and the dualrival s as researchers.  Hidden deep in the facility is a certain tree haired manchild who has been kept in a cage for pretty much his entire life.  Ghetsis does a mother gothel and makes out its to keep him safe and brings him Pokemon to ask about where they live and what other kinds of Pokemon live there so that Ghetsis can release them safely back into the wild go hunt for more Pokemon in the area if there’s anything good there
There’s a few more that I have but I won’t include them because im worried it’d be a waste of time if no one takes interest in any of these but uh thanks for asking and reading if you did!!!

Note
So I've never really been interested in fnaf before following you but these posts and theories are making me interested do u have like a summary of the story or something? I'm still not 100% sure if I want to get into it, especially since I can't seem to find a simple non-spoiler summary
Tumblr media
Uh, okay, so the reason you can’t find a simple summary is because no one can actually agree what the story is.
You see, we don’t know what order the games go in (1-3 is fairly obvious, not so much after that). Then each game contains minigames and cutscenes, which are in entirely different places and times than the main gameplay. Then there’s debate over who the main character’s are, what certain scenes mean... no one can agree about anything.
I’ll provide a basic summary of the gameplay just to give you a vague idea of kind of sort of the plot. Keep in mind this is missing a lot of details, and you should look up Let’s Plays of each game to get the full picture if you’re interested.
FNAF 1: You work in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza as a security guard named Mike Schmidt as 5 haunted animatronics try to kill you. As it turns out, there were five children killed there by a murder wearing a costume. The guy on the phone mentions a Bite of ‘87 that occurred there where someone’s frontal lobe was removed - this comes into play later. He dies on Night 4. One of the animatronics is an empty golden bear suit.
FNAF 2: You work at Freddy’s as a guard named Jeremy Fitzgerald (switches to Fritz Smith in the Custom Night). The gameplay is a prequel, taking place in ‘87. There are two generations of animatronics, the Withereds and the Toys, along with the Puppet, which seems to have given life to the children. The guard before was switched to day shift. The restaurant is shut down due the child murders. Jeremy is later moved to day shift due to a sudden opening, and serves at a birthday party the next day. Phone Guy says he’ll take the night shift after they reopen. Golden Freddy turns into a giant head on occasion.
FNAF 3: This game is a sequel set 30 years in the future, in a horror attraction called Fazbear’s Fright. The minigames reveal the killer (”Purple Guy”) dismantled the animatronics. This frees the ghost children, and they corner him in the safe room - an off-camera room the animatronics can’t enter. He jumps into a Spring Bonnie springlock suit (suits that can switch between suit and animatronic via handcrank - Spring Bonnie and Fredbear), only to have it go off and jam the endo through his body. This creates Springtrap, who hunts you down and summons Phantom Animatronics to try and kill you throughout the gameplay. If you achieve the true ending, the ghost kids are freed. Fazbear’s Fright burns in a fire, but Springtrap survives.
FNAF 4: The minigames show a Puppet-esc child being tormented by his Older Brother wearing a Foxy mask. He has plushies that he considers his friends, and the Fredbear Plush teleports and talks to him. On Night 5, the Brother and his friends, who shove him into Fredbear’s mouth and cause his head to be bitten. He later passes away in a hospital after being comatose, and the Plush promises to put him back together. The gameplay is very vague, and involves what appears to be a child fighting off the Nightmare animatronics in a bedroom. On Night 5, Nightmare Fredbear appears, and on Night 6, Nightmare appears. The game ends with a closed box.
FNAF SL: This one we know the most about. We play as Michael Afton, IE William Afton (the killer’s) son. He works at Circus Baby’s Entertainment and Rentals, a place where the Funtime Animatronics are rented out for parties. As it turns out, they were built to kill kids, and William’s daughter was killed via Baby. Michael was sent to retrieve her and put her back together. At the end of the game, the Funtimes fuse into one animatronic endo, Ennard, and Michael has his organs torn out. They wear him as a means to escape the facility for a while, only to bail once he starts decaying and turning purple. Michael then possess his own corpse, and it ends with a monologue taking place in Fazbear’s Fright with him saying he’s going to find his father. Springtrap appears at the very end.
There are also AU materails and books and whatnot, but those are another thing entirely.
