They respect the protag greatly #Also golems are the mecha of the fantasy world so grahas crystal parts are in a way robot parts so graha was kinda of a cyborg #IM SORRY I DIDNT HAVE ANYTHING FOR URIANGER. I really really do not understand how Jared is a bad actor. I understand these things are not objective. It's just that his range and his ability to display reactions in intense scenarios and consistently display PTSD from that is like. so core to my ability to even enjoy most of latter supernatural. I am not good at judging actors I think Jensen and Misha are so so, and I very rarely pay attention to the skills of acting. But Jared like. specifically stands out to me as an extremely good actor?

#other actors in spn I noticed were demore barnes jdm and the Zachariah guy #jared padalecki #jared #spn #supernatural #like I KNOW subjectively someone who is extremely good at playing a character with high levels of hypervigilance is going to be someone i #enjoy which jared is good at but he like??? also is just good at other things too?? he adds so much to Sam that even though the writing doe #not it is palpatible when Sam gets his soul back #his performances while possessed are. quite significantly good. especially if you're comparing to the other main characters oh my god #and other forms of intense reactions are notable too! like 4x21 stood out to me when I was younger for example #idk man! it's just shocking to me like #i don't notice talent in this sort of thing but his is so noticeable it adds SO much to the show #are people even like. looking at Sam?????

I got to see Cirque du Soleil’s Koozå and was immediately infected with brain worms because the Trickster is just SO cool. I’ve thought about nothing but them for like an entire week

#I cannot express how insane I feel thinking about them and their dancing #the actor Joey Vice is ridiculously talented and the definitive Trickster in my mind #also so many elements of the Trickster’s costumes appeal to me directly #this is just one of three outfits they wear and they’re all amazing #they should look silly bc they’re so cartoonish but instead they’re appealingly bizarre and irresistibly cool #also the rest of the acts were amazing too LOL #I was just so mesmerized by the Trickster that I had to actively remind myself to watch the actual show #Cirque du Soleil #Kooza #Cirque du Soleil Trickster #Trickster #my art

#&juliet #had the absolute luck of watching this live the other night and it was. truly amazing!!! aaah #rough character designs for the younger leads (excluding like the Grown adult duos..) because?? idk #this is how it always starts. once the character designs start getting simplified like this that's when it all begins #which is hmmm timing but i really can't shut up about this musical it was so so fun. absolute vibes and energy #made me laugh and cry and was such an Experience. i adore them all but may specifically made me sob at some parts dfjkldfh #lots of thoughts! but one of the favs is how they wrote it so the existing songs and actions fit so well.#like in a rhyming bit they had frankie accept a drink and then the song was like ''drink in hand'' and i was all !!!!!!#also maybe it's local censorship? but there wasn't the kisses.. they replaced it w kissing hands and then holding hands #which is like a cute nod to the ''hand to hand holy palmers kiss' or smth but also maybe two guys doing that would not have made it past :/#oh my god i. the way rnj parallels the shakespeare duo... whdskjfhgh. may + not being a Girl kdjhgf. frankie and may. aaagh.#angelique being so so badass. i . the speech about Gender by anne and the Proposal by angelique both made the whole theatre cheer love that #also rotating stage lives in my mind rent free i ADORE the set holy moly.. also also the actors were so good. also the Projections.#also the music and costumes and special effects and aerial moments. and the ensemble. and the choreo #also the cast is so talented. and pretty. and the whole confidence part vs the vulnerability of some bits... whshjfgjkl. hhh #im just listing stuff now but it was so vibes. what an experience ever. it's also shot me directly into 14-years-old again so #spent the morning alone vibing to the soundtrack intensely... i just... sometimes things hold special places in your heart idk!!!#i don't know what to do with these designs though... like the show is such a lovely Spectacle but also idk where to branch out by myself no #there's so much to Absorb again and again. i get the feeling any true work from this i would do in a form of an animatic though.. oops #tldr? 1. &juliet very good just as itself 2. we have History 3. i got to see it live which always propels me into bonkers over musicals!#so so rough but i needed to get smth out and . whatever. an art blog is an art blog. back to hiatus now i think #<reminder to myself: this is essentially an artchive.. there's no quality control if you don't want it! have fun!! ily>

Said people the response was aimed towards: Oh so now she thinks she's too good for us? She's so ungrateful, letting all the fame get to her head. Doesn't she know that without us, she wouldn't be as famous? She should just suck it up!

#tell me im wrong bc you can't #this is how some are acting towards chappell roane right now and all she asked for was boundaries to be established #there's this common theme still where people will treat celebs as less than human just bc they're famous & that's so wrong #they share their talent with u as fans and can't even get any decency in response #it's also alarming how quick people are to victim blame these celebs especially female celebs/artist as if they asked to be harassed #there's always a threat of harm to women (especially if they are a woc or queer) already and getting upset with them for wanting to take #caution seems like a bad hill to die on #its also annoying when sadly something does happens and the response following is “how could this happen? we need more boundaries!” and will #then turn right back to their old ways 🙄#lowkey reminds of how there was a wave of hate towards actors (eg. penn badgerly) for saying they didn't feel comfortable doing sex scenes #(which they are within their right to set up boundaries) and yet some fans made it seem like they were in the wrong for wanting autonomy #even tho countless other celebs before that talked about how uncomfortable and evasive the treatment on sets were for them #so their concerns aren't without merit #is it really that hard to establish parasocial relationships with famous people?#chappell roan #megan thee stallion #beyonce #taylor swift

Thinking about Karamatsu/Nozomi whole looking through some web weavings, and if I ever write something for them (currently in the phase of trying to come up with key events and organise them chronologically so it makes sense, thematically) I think I'd like this to be one of the take aways

In the event of a bad ending (dunno if I'm strong enough for that though 🫠 SHE CAN CHANGE HIM WITHOUT DYING im better than that), I hope that Karamatsu still finds it in himself to stop being so passive about his life. Like,

To stop waiting for the perfect moment or the perfect answer to dawn on him, and instead take life by reins and... Just start being an active participant in his own life. To embrace self-determination and the risk of committing to something that may not pan out but still forces you to take conscious and mindful action every day.

#nozomi takahashi #karamatsu #karanozo #thinking about what the sextuplets (say they) want out of life vs. what they do to achieve it vs. whats holding them back #you have cybermatsu who are the most driven/ambitious but where one is held back by anxiety/the delusion that thinking about being responsi #is the same as actually being responsible (i mean. i get it lol) the other one is held back by trying to cheat the system bcs he thinks he'#too smart for hardwork + the apprehension that if he earns something it may be disrupted by his family dynamic which is HEARTBREAKING #then parka who dont show much ambition and i think they embrace the mindset of not wanting more than they currently have #whilst ignoring the discomfort this creates. and i like to think Osomatsu is stressed by the knowledge that as the eldest he SHOULD be #striving for more no matter how much change scares him (sick dad skit + nyachan skit) whils Ichimatsu just has such a low image of himself #he probably thinks back to how hard he had to try I'm HS and gets discourage yet also ignores the successes he's had #(hc but i like to think everyone thought he and choro would be the most well adapted and traditionally functional members of society but it #didn't pan out. in Choro's case because he wasn't as good as he thought he was and in Ichimatsu's because realising that he'd have to mask #forever kept him from trying)#and then. kinniku. and I'm thinking how they're the two with the most obvious passions (the arts + sports) and how they're visibly #skilled (Kara) and talented (Jyushi) and Karamatsu even mentions in S1 that he tried to become an actor but gave up and Jyushi says he's #never actually played an official baseball match prior to the S1 finale and I go insane thinking that they also tried in their own way to #pursue less traditional passions but they were always held back until they allowed the passions to become an scape and a distraction #idk why i wrote all of this it's not actually that related to the post. like i would try to explore that hc in a fic but???#something possessed me lol. but it's written so y'all take it. been seeing a lot of talk about how bad a lot of the popular picks for movie shadows voice actor are recently and thats true but does anybody remember when people were saying tom holland should voice tails . horrible

#theres the obvious problem of how he sounds nothing like tails #and also the thing of people always wanting to give voice acting roles to random movie stars instead of actual professional voice actors #but i feel like this one has like. an extra layer in terms of how bad and insulting it is #because people were saying this after the first sonic movie came out which had tails in the post credits scene voiced by his game va #who is talented and good at her job and is a professional va with a ton of experience #(she has more voice acting credits than all of her sonic 2 costars combined if i remember correctly)#and also a history with This Specific Character so shes familiar with him and how he should be portrayed #but obviously shes not good enough because shes not as big of a name as the other people involved in the movie #obviously she has to be replaced with some random celebrity who doesnt fit the role at all and can barely voice act (sarcasm)

i feel legitimately angry about the pjo tv show. rick makes a huge show of how book accurate it’s going to be and then gives us that? he exploited the trust his fans had in him and our love for this series and we got something that only vaguely resembles the story we know. sure, it was never going to be a verbatim retelling, but you’re telling me the series we got is “book accurate”? i just don’t understand what happened between the huge campaign that happened to get disney to develop a good adaptation of the story to now.
