im a firm believer that Marvel should’ve stopped making movies for at least five years after endgame, and did a soft reset on the MCU. i think fiege and co. wanted to keep that momentum going after infinity, war and endgame and for a while they did but continuously pushing out movies did nothing but harm the genre so that’s why a lot of the movies (both mcu and dc) that have been coming out in the last year or so have been flopping because of the sheer volume of content that they’ve pushed out. The Fantastic Four kicks off the new MCU with a soft reboot. And Tom’s Spiderman could’ve had a soft reboot too, having graduated high school and being a fully adult spiderman too.
