Can I just say Ekko is the most perfect and flawless character ever created and now I wish he and Viktor and Jinx could have all met somehow and done cool science stuff together. But this frame here genuinely makes me so sad. I’m crushed. But also, I like when conflicting circumstances tear characters apart, to me. I like the tragedy. So I’m glad in our Ekko’s universe, they didn’t stay together. It would be so out-of-character for my girl Jinx.

Also I like that it wasn’t just a boring fan-service episode. It proved a point, and we also had Jayce’s fun adventures in Nightmarefuelworld. ANDD THE Z-DRIVE, WOOOOOO!!!!

Jinx was already perfect, but so is Powder.

I’m glad that at least ONE of my favourite characters had a happy ending. Singed wasn’t the most ethical scientist, but he sure is a Hell of a father for doing all that.

Sevika in the Council. She finally beat Silco’s corrupt underground empire and overcame the oppression Vander faced. She finally understood how he felt when she betrayed him, after the Zaunites wouldn’t listen to her, and now she can do something about it. So happy for her. She deserves it. The true leader of Zaun, everyone.

Alsoo, I’m a strong believer in the ‘Jinx is alive theory.

More critically however, I think there were too many needle drops (however good they were), the pacing was pretty rushed compared to Season One which was pure perfection, and I wish we got something more similar to League Viktor, because now Only-Arcane fans will not understand the true meaning of Glorious Evolution. I think Viktor’s character arc was over-simplified and I just feel empty about it. Kinda disappointed. He means so much to me. But damnnnn Jayce got validated as HELLLL. No complaints there. I hate him in League but always liked him in Arcane up till episode 6. Bro was just an idealist. Also their ending was ambiguous did they die together or just remain in the astral plane, forever integrated within the arcane. If Singed could save Orianna, can’t he find their corpses somewhere and save them?? I need cyborg Viktor. I wish we had the adventures of Blitzcrank and his cyborg father. I’m also bothered by that continuity error about Vander’s betrayal and when exactly it takes place. Also don’t like what they did with Silco’s character, in Ekko’s alternate world AND in the original world, because how could he just forgive Vander like that after all the hate he was always full of?? I’m sure there’s an explanation, but they didn’t have enough time to go into it.

This is the actual best show I have ever seen personally. Thanks for the stunning writing, flawless art-style, loveable characters and impeccable queer/disabled/POC representation. No other show has ever moved me so much. I hope Fortiche continues to make more series like this in the future. I love Runeterra and its Lore so much.

so I have read this before during my first portal phase which, granted, was in probably... 2017? 2018? some of 2019? no clue I don't like thinking about when i was 13 that was cringe as hellll. I still have all my fanart from middle school dawg... it destroyed me the first time and by god it destroyed me the 2nd time too but now this time I can actually sort of put my thoughts to paper.

obviously this is gonna have major spoilers so if you intend on reading it I don't recommend looking under here. or do i can't control you okay here we go this is gonna be scattered as fuckkk

First of all, love the entire premise. we never know what happened to Chell after the end of Portal 2, much less Mel, but whatever did we can assume it was probably a lot better than being stuck in a facility made up of machines that want you dead but also worse in the respect that ... well, you're alone now and have to fend for yourself. Remember how to be a human being. Finding food and water and shit with zero idea if you're the last person on earth or not. Imagine being starving and exhausted and probably on the brink of death with a diet of nothing but decades old canned goods and water that probably isn't good either. Then getting basically scruffed like a cat by a robot that drags you back down into the place you fought so hard to escape from, and thrown straight back into testing. Mocked and tormented by a cold, unfeeling machine you accidentally brought back to life to save your own.

The relationship Mel and Virgil have built is so…. vague. And i love it. Neither of them would say i love you and yet both of them would die for the other. Virgil HAS died for her. He defied GLaDOS probably at least 4 different times just to protect her, fully knowing a worse fate would await her if he stood idly by and did nothing at all. His ultimate flaw, and something that is touched upon often, is that he cares. He cares so much. No other personality construct seems to have the amount of empathy he holds for Mel, and it shows. I <3 yearning. I <3 never being able to act upon it.

Something else I think about is that Mel can't even scream. Cry. All you can do is croak and even that feels like it'll make you cough blood. i think she'd be so happy to get her voice back (I can't remember if it was reversible) so she can catch up on all the screaming and crying she missed. Curl up in a little ball for a bit. The grieving she had no time to do. - some of my favorite bits. i don't really have anything to say here they just make me insane

The whole flashback sort of thing with Dr. Aadland destroying the GLaDOS prototype... I'm obsessed with the very idea of all the personality constructs being formerly human. What lives they lead, the relationships they may have had with each other before being converted to machines, their memories picked and chosen, deleted by hand to cultivate a new personality, a pale imitation of the real thing.

The person he was, the person responsible for not only building her chassis but involuntarily assisted in being a guinea pig for what they would do to Caroline. Her fate was sealed with his death and yet all she has is spite for him. I guess as some form of catharsis. They took your memories from you. They did a Boeing whistleblower level cover up. You will not be remembered, you will not be mourned. You are nothing, in death and what came after. I don't think Aadland really thought about saving her in particular when he decided to have a textbook crashout, more about the impact it would have on the world overall.

They took away from him the facets of his personality that made him Dr. Aadland. And while we'll never really know exactly what kind of person he was from the little flashes we get, I like to think he was sort of an uptight asshole. Thinking he's better than everyone, getting exhausted with others that fail to understand the reaches of his vast intellect. Something that Virgil could never imagine being. All torn away from him, shoved into a robot with a mere fraction of his intelligence, and all the emotional instability. Possibly one of the greatest minds among them reduced to nothing but a mumbling slurring mess of machine that can barely remember its own name.

Hard drives don't actually delete data until the old data is written over. There's still fragments that can be painstakingly pieced together.

The scar near his knee is from a gunshot wound; someone tried to take him out and shot him there to keep him from escaping (he's stupid and ran out of bullets). Luckily, Mac saved him before he could take a bullet to the forehead <3

Mac (used to) love his dad! spent all the time he could with him, and since Mr.Callander REALLY wanted Mac to be just like him, he taught Mac everything he could. What a shame that Mac became such a disappointment, no? He looks at himself in the mirror and sees his father, telling him he'd better keep himself in line.

Mac and Davey really liked fishing--not with a fishing pole, but with nets! they used to do so as kids, this tiny river that only really had smaller fish...

Davey really likes getting the bridge of his nose caressed. He NEVER told anyone, since it's really embarrassing, but...Mac knows. Of course he does, he's the one that figured it out. Davey was just a little baby when he did. Cute little baby David Callander sleeping on a rug, Mac sitting right next to him softly caressing his nose with the pad of his index finger.... Davey doesn't remember that, but Mac could swear it happened just yesterday.

They lived on the streets since their parents died, robbing and fighting folk until they were nearing their 26th birthday, and they managed to escape Scotland (they were already very wanted men). They sneaked on a boat, unaware of where it was headed, just hoping it'd be better than their old home... Mac still grieves their parents old house, even if they never went near it again after they died.

Since the brothers lived on economy of war pretty much their whole life, they're REALLY cheap about most things...they're the kind of people to check out 10 shops just to see which one's the cheapest. That is if they choose to pay at all...

Hard long-torture stockholm stuff where Sam is finally desperate for any kind of relief and goes to his knees and Lucifer gets the crowing glee of almost conceding, and then shoving Sam down to the dirt anyway? Scrumptious. Just straight-up gnasty noncon that Sam grits his teeth to get through and Lucifer smiles at him and says hey, the Grand Canyon wasn't eroded in a day!, and Sam knows it'll happen again, and again tomorrow, and again the day after that, and that the nature of hell means he'll never be numbed to it but that his nerves will always be this raw wild edge and it'll hurt this much every time and that's all he has to look forward to, forever, because he 'beat' Lucifer and now has to suffer the consequences of his victory? This also works with Hallucifer, or arguably even better because it's all Sam's terror lurching up to mock him even when he should be safe in the waking earth. Fits with all Sam's post-cage life, too, although I'm not a fan of Hallucifer showing up after the "craziness" transfer (however dumb it is, it's canon, so I go with it) -- but like, Dean smiles at him a particular way and Sam gets a crackling flash of another face; or, worse! but awesome!, he touches Dean in a particular way and realizes oh shit oh no he accidentally copied one of Lucifer's moves. 1. my rings i don't like being without them they're a silver crescent moon ring i got from my work girlies and another silver ring that's just a fun shape that i got myself hehe i wear them on my index & middle finger and i'm looking to get more bc i really love the feeling of rings on my fingers + they look cool 🫶🏻

2. earrings! i have a conch piercing with an opal stone in it that i never take out and i've got two lobe piercings on that side and then just one lobe piercing on the other which is lame as hellll bc i have so many pairs of earrings i love to wear it's just that there's not enough earspace to put them in LMAO i really have to put 'get ears pierced' on my to-do list (like 90% of my earrings are silver and like 80% are either moon or star shaped or have a pearl of some kind on it and when i get earrings as a gift they're usually always exactly what i love heheee you really can't go wrong with a moon loving girl now can you)
