kate martin x fem!reader making out hcs
✧˖°༉‧₊˚.☁︎𐦍༘⋆‧₊˚ ⋅* ‧₊ kate martin making out with her gf,,
— there is no such thing as space when you and kate are making out
- she holds you so close it’s actually insane
— she’s so whiny and needy for you
— hands are gripping your thighs, kneading them and keeping them pressed against her body
— lowkey kinda sloppy but she can’t help it
- like she’s so obsessed with you
— loves to french kiss the hell out of you
- constant battle for dominance
— will make out with you absolutely anywhere in your apartment
— she’s so out of breath but she’s not a quitter
— if you pull away she’s immediately kissing somewhere else
- neck, jaw, shoulder, collarbone you name it
- will give you an insane amount of hickeys on accident
— the make out sessions start as soon as you put on her favorite chapstick
— can never make out in one position for too long
- will go from sitting down to flipping you on your back
— ESPECIALLY LOVESSS when you straddle her during make outs
- will help you grind on her lowkey
— it always starts out fast and passionate but ends up so slow and languid cause yall have been at it for so long LOL
— refuses to answer the phone during a make out sesh
- “kate, your phone is ringing”
- “it’s fine, just c’mere.”
— if her hands aren’t on your thighs they’re probably up your shirt ngl
— it’s her fav pre-game pastime!!
— will literally beg to take your clothes off cause she just wants to be close
— likes when you tug on her hair
- especially if it’s in a ponytail
— she literally wants to make out at least once a day
- “no kate, i just finished my makeup.”
- “please?”
- “…fine.”
— sometimes she does ask but most of the time is just happens naturally
— loves loves loves her early morning make out sessions with you
— makes jokes about how easily she takes your breath away
- literally only because she won’t let you pull away
— walking around with your lipstick all over her mouth afterwards 🤭
— will start off by giving you little pecks or kissing your neck to get your attention
— sometimes gets your foundation on her nose too LOL
— it’s like tradition now honestly
— “babe, wear that strawberry chapstick today, it’s my favorite.”
- “i thought the lemon was your favorite?”
- “i just said that so you’d kiss me.”

Chad is so babygirl🥰🥰🥰 Just imagine growing up with him being best bros and when we both grow older we share one brain cell together. THE OP HIMBO DUO
Chad Martin-Meeks x male reader
Headcanons
Tumblr media
I love Chad, so much. There’s also spoilers for Scream 6 in this, if you guys don’t want those. I might also have added some Ethan stuff in this, I couldn’t help myself.
You were related to the Riley family, most likely Dewey’s son or something along those lines, the result of a one-night stand, or Gale and Dewey having you together but splitting apart again afterwards.
You were raised by your dad, but because of his worsening mental state you spent a lot of time with the Meeks family. Your dad was both overprotective because of losing his sister and so many other people, but also because Gale mostly just ignored your existence, so he wanted to be a good parent.
You never blamed your dad because you knew he did his best, but it did lead to you hanging out with Chad and Mindy most of the time at their house. Dewey was happy that you had a support system and could be young and free, so he never had anything against it.
Out of the siblings you got along with Chad the most, even as kids the two of you were connected at the hip even more than he was with Mindy. Out of your group there was a braincell sure, but it was Mindy who had it for the most part.
You both developed feelings for each other, and of course Mindy would tease the both of you to the moon and back. Tara isn’t any help either as they keep making jokes and jabs at both you and Chad, though they never out the others crush because they’re not that mean.
When you two finally start dating no one is surprised, and of course your dad gives Chad the shovel talk, maybe even as he’s cleaning his guns. He knows Chad is a good guy, but its his duty as your dad to step in and set the record straight.
When the killings of Scream 5 happen you two end up getting hurt together, whilst trying to protect one another. You both end up surviving much to everyone’s joy, but it also results in you losing your dad and seeing your mom for the first time in years.
Since your over 18 you don’t go anywhere with your mom even though Gale tries to convince you to go with her, which leads to a big argument, and she has to be removed from the hospital since you’re still recovering.
You end up moving to college with Chad, and end up rooming with him and Ethan when everything is over. Gale still tries to contact with you and bond with you, though you think its too late for her to play any parental role in your life. Plus, you don’t trust her as you assume she’s just getting close to get information for her books.
You end up bonding more with Ethan than Chad does, that doesn’t mean you and Chad aren’t still connected at the hip, but you take interest in Ethan and what he’s into, even though you have little understanding of anything he does.
You and Chad both try to play wingmen for Ethan, and your status as the hot gay couple gives you some ins you didn’t have in the past, so your most likely able to end up setting Ethan up with a couple of girls, though it never goes very far.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Ethan gets a little flustered rooming with two hot guys, who have no problem making out in your guy’s shared kitchen or walking around in just a pair of shorts, he’s walking in on you and Chad more time than he can count.
Sure, he’s only rooming with you guys to get revenge for Richie, but why stop himself from looking when you two himbos are busy grinding on the couch to notice he’s there. You and Chad both go to Ethan for homework help too, because he’s so smart and Mindy still has the braincell.
Ethan’s found himself stuck between you and Chad on the couch multiple times during your “bro nights” with you two asleep against him. In the beginning it was just you and Chad, but then you pulled Ethan into it too since he was your roommate.
When everything with Scream 6 happens Chad still gets stabbed and you think you’ve lost him, and instead of Tara killing Ethan its you, as revenge for him using your friendship and killing your lover.
When it turns out Chad survived you rush into the ambulance with Mindy and your boyfriend is given help, with you holding and kissing his hand the entire ride there. After all of this you guys joke that you should transfer to another college, or stop being such horror movie tropes.
After you’ve all healed you and Chad decide it take it a bit more chill than you have before, not going to parties like you guys did in the past and just hanging out with your friends and family.
It results in you and Chad spending a lot of nights just cuddled up together, holding one another and just enjoying the others presence. You two just lay together and maybe run your hands over the others scars, just thankful the other is alive after everything.
You end up spending some more time with your mom, though you never get close because you still don’t think you can trust her, especially with the stuff she said about Sam in her book.
You end up taking after your dad as well, investing in some guns though not to the same level, and when your mental state starts spiraling your friends and lover are there you pull you out of it.

and they were roommates
Tumblr media
pairing: chad meeks-martin x male!reader
summary: reader moves in with chad and after a party, they both confess their feelings for each other!
note: no smut in this one because i’m too scared to write that but it might be coming sooner than u think ;)
it was the beginning of the school year and you had decided to transfer over to Blackmore University. you heard horror stories about the dorm rooms and felt that maybe searching for an apartment would be a safer and better idea. you finally found a listing online and that a student attending Blackmore was looking for a roommate as well. you submitted an application and after a day or two, you were accepted. you were excited but also nervous to meet your new roommate. you got to your apartment and knocked on the door with boxes in your hands. “hi there! you must be my new roommate. i’m guessing because of all of those boxes you’re carrying. need a little help?” he held the door open and grabbed a few of the boxes and walked you into your room. “thanks for the help! don’t got a lot of upper-body strength on me unlike you. i mean because it looks like you workout a lot.” he laughed at your awkwardness and secretly found it cute. “i mean i try to hit the gym as much as i can. hasn’t been the same since high school though.”
you laughed even though you couldn’t relate because instead of doing sports, you spent after school online and in bed.”so lemme guess, you go to Blackmore?” “how could you tell?” you point to his hoodie which says Blackmore University. “i mean it’s pretty comfy you know” you laugh and found his humor enjoyable and pretty cute. you talked for a lil while and he left to go attend class while you stayed setting up your room. after getting your mattress into your room and a long day of setting up your posters all over your day, you decided to take a break for the rest of the night. chad came back from class and asked if you were down for a pizza and movie night to make you feel more comfortable adjusting to the new apartment. you said yes and later that night you two sat down with your pizza to watch the new evil dead movie. every time there was a jumpscare, you screamed which made chad laugh and secretly he found this adorable. by the end of the movie, you had fallen asleep so chad put a blanket over you and let you sleep on the couch. when he tried to go to his room quietly, chad hit his foot on the side of the table and tried not to scream. you woke up to the bang but still kept your eyes closed. he whispered “hope i didn’t wake you up pretty boy” you blushed and continued to go back to sleep.
a month or two had passed and everything was good. halloween was right around the corner and you and chad had talked about going. “come on, you need to go this party. it’s time y/n finally makes his move on a girl and show her what’s up.” you rolled your eyes and laughed because you figured it was pretty obvious you weren’t interested in girls at all and thought chad had received the message one night when he caught you belting to ariana grande. nonetheless, you agreed to go to the party but didn’t know what exactly to wear. once the night of the party came, you made a quick stop to party city to grab a super mario hat and a small mustache. you came back to put on a red shirt and called it a night. “super mario huh? can i be your princess peach? “cute chad. what are you supposed to be?” “i’m kind of going with sexy cowboy for tonight. have to show the ladies what lifting 150 pounds looks like.” it was around 9 pm when you two of you left your apartment and made your way into the party. there, you spotted tara, anika, and mindy. you figured tara was dressed as a pirate, anika as a pumpkin?, and mindy looked like she didn’t even dress up.
the four of you talked about college and plans afterwards. soon, the talk was about you and chad. “so y/n, plan on making a move on my brother?” you almost spit out your drink. “what are you talking about?” “oh come on, i mean it’s kinda obvious that you’ve been crushing on him. all the times you’ve zoned off staring at him, always laughing at his jokes, always complimenting him.” you started to realize that you were extremely obvious when it came to be around your crush and confessed that you found chad cute but didn’t know if he had a thing for...guys. “i mean i think chad is open to anyone but i don’t think he just feels like telling anyone” mindy explained. you spotted him dancing with ethan landry who you have met a few amounts of time but found him a little awkward. you built the courage to go talk to him after taking two shot of tequila. “hey guys how’s it going?” “y/n, it is going great. just here with my buddy ethan landry about to catch a meal!” you could tell chad was totally drunk out of his mind and asked him if he wanted to go back to the apartment and rest. “nah i’m fine. you ain’t gotta worry about me. im A-okay.” he began to stumble his way back into the kitchen for more shots and that when you realized things weren’t gonna end well. you grabbed him and told him it would be best to go home. he agreed and the both of you left for home.
the walk from the party was only a 5 minute distance. while on the way home, you had to keep a hold of chad and make sure he didn’t fall straight on the floor. soon enough, you two had finally arrived at your apartment. you walked to chad to his bedroom and laid him on the bed. “do you want anything? water? ginger-ale? “a water would be fine for now. my head feels like shit” “i’ll get you a tylenol too.” soon after, you came back into the room with the water and tylenol. while chad was resting, he had taken off his cowboy hat and you decided to put it on. “you know you look pretty cute with my hat on.” “aww thank you. you look pretty cute just being you.” you cringed at yourself for the middle school compliment you just gave him. “haha, thank you for that wonderful compliment” while the two of you talked, chad mentioned that he had wished he was with you during the party. “oh come on, you don’t mean that.” “i do tho y/n. i mean, you’re the only one that really knows me besides mindy of course. ever since you’ve moved in with me, i’ve just fallen in love with you. your smile, your personality, everything about you just makes me feel so happy.” you took note that chad was still pretty drunk but you started to tear up at what he was saying. “i-i don’t know what to say. i mean, i’ve kinda felt the same for you for a pretty long time now but i didn’t know if you were into guys or not and i just didn’t wanna push any boundary or make things awk-” he pulls your face towards and leans you in for a kiss. the two of you continue to kiss for a good 5 minutes before pulling out to breathe. “how was that?” chad asked you but you were still panting for air which chad found hot and kinda turned him on. “that was really good. it would be even better if you did it some more.” he answered your request and grabbed you onto his lap. you began to grind on him and he started to feel on your waist while you started to kiss on his neck and muscles. you took your shirt off and he started to kiss on your chest which made you moan in pleasure. as the night continued, the two of you had finished your make-out session. “so, does that mean we’re together?” you asked chad while you laid on top of his chest. “we’ll have to see. kinda want to test the waters first.” you laughed and kissed him and began to fall asleep. “yeah, you’re mine pretty boy.” he admired you and played with your hair as he too started to fall asleep.

8. rules
prompt from this list paired with a character suggestion from @druidx - this one features Baurus.
--
Baurus, at times, misses the Imperial City. The bustle of it, mostly, the swirling motion of commerce, the cacophony of the bells and half-a-hundred languages tossed around like cargo at the waterfront, and sometimes even the smell. He expected the hermetic rhythms of life in Cloud Ruler to chafe at him; braced himself for it on the trek north.
He could not predict the extent to which he took the amenities of city life for granted. Namely, the abundance of healers. Cheerful apothecaries with their tailor-made remedies, gentle hands at the temple coaxing wounds to seal.
For such things now they must rely on the Hero of Kvatch. Martin Septim, former priest, is a healer, but he has too important a role to play to be bothered with such trifles. Tanis Irathi is competent, but he is also a tyrant. A fortnight ago, the Grandmaster assembled them all to review reports on the Mythic Dawn’s movements. Baurus might have coughed a few times as Jauffre spoke, only to dislodge an itch in his throat. Afterward, Irathi — pacing the barracks like a captain dressing down his crew on the foredeck — forbade the Blades from catching disease.
He foists upon them bitter preventative tonics and sneers when they grimace at the taste. He sees someone sucking a cut and demands they sit for a healing, all the while relaying tales of rotten battlefield wounds that make even stalwart Captain Steffan go green around the gills. He nudges aside whoever’s on cooking duty to upend a mortar full of foul-tasting roots into a perfectly good soup, to make it more “fortifying.”
Irathi takes a scorched-earth approach with any malady. Baurus must admit it’s effective, and not entirely irrational. The Hero and his apprentice are the only residents of the temple with true freedom of movement — they cannot afford to fall ill, even for a short time. Baurus, too, would like to think that any miasma creeping up the barren mountain slopes would quail before his stern resolve.
Baurus is on cooking duty, crisping up fat little brook trout for breakfast. This is not the White-Gold Tower, there are no cooks or scullions here.
The heir pads in and mumbles out a greeting. He looks drawn, the pouches under his eyes darker than usual. He ladles up some tea from the pot boiling over the fire. Muffles a wet racking cough in his sleeve. Spills half the tea in his convulsion, curses. “Please, your Grace, let me.” Martin ignores him, mops up the mess, shuffles out.
He feels like a tattle-tale, but one look at Jauffre’s face tells him that the Grandmaster shares his concern. This cough could be the first sign of ruin to come, like the untimely reddening of the skies before an Oblivion gate bursts up from the soil. The end of the world precipitated by a cold. They are not healers, and thus find it easy to spin every little sneeze into a deadly portent.
And worse, Irathi and Coradri are due back in a week’s time. If he returns to discover the Blades keeping watch over a bedridden man, they will never hear the end of it.
Jena helps him locate Irathi’s cache of elixirs, jumbled at the bottom of a kitchen cupboard. “They’re not labeled,” Baurus says with dismay, examining the murky contents of a glass bottle. When he shakes it, some ominous dark sediment swirls and clings to the glass.
“He only just learned how to write. Look, they’ve all got cords with different knots, maybe that’s the trick.”
Jena is sharp like that, noticing things even her fellow Blades miss. There does seem to be a system to the neat and pleasing sailing knots tied around the neck of each bottle. “We don’t have time to decipher some secret string language. And I’m not drinking out of random bottles to see what’s what. I might poison myself and then what use will I be?”
“He’s a healer. I don’t think he makes poisons, even to sell.”
“What does he always say?” Baurus prompts, and they recite together: “A fine line between medicine and poison.”
When the Hero and his apprentice are not around, Baurus takes up the mantle of errand-boy. Bruma is only three miles away as the crow flies, but as the man creeps upon the treacherous ground, it’s a good two hours of hiking. One way. Too far to sprint back if something happens. Tree cover down on the shanks of the mountain, obscuring the view. It makes him uneasy, being outside the range of a useful patrol, but even Jauffre agrees this needs doing.
The apothecary is owned by an old Nord woman, tiny and withered as a winter apple, whose eyes sparkle out of her spectacularly folded face. She grills him on the symptoms as she pulls jars down from her shelves.
Witbane fever cooking the heir’s brains, collywobbles leaving him too feeble to hold his reed pen, fluid settling in his lungs to drown him in his sleep, parasites sapping the strength from his limbs. Death death death. “A wet cough,” he says.
He returns to the temple, armed with sachets and clinking bottles and a list of instructions. The apothecary’s handwriting is tiny and wavering. This happens as one ages; the mind starts to go and the limbs cease to obey and the act of putting words to paper demands a shrinking focus. Uriel’s penmanship was like that. Martin’s, from what Baurus has spied, is a cramped but fluid scrawl.
The heir is in the great hall when Baurus arrives, a blanket around his shoulders, painstakingly throwing kindling in a basket. Baurus rushes to his side. “Please, Your Grace…”
“I’m perfectly capable of building my own fire,” the heir snaps, “and stop calling me that.”
“Of course, but—”
“For gods’ sake, it’s just a cough, I haven’t lost a limb or something. And I’ll be back to the Xarxes in a day or two.”
Baurus is no healer but he knows all the folksy maxims. Starve a fever, feed a cold. Lots of liquid. And lots of rest. For instance, no lugging of heavy loads. No reading of accursed, dream-haunting books. No enduring of icy quarters, because you’re loathe to use up firewood that must be hauled up on the backs of mules, and you cannot reconcile the spendthrift habits of your rural past with your future as an Emperor.
“That’s not—” Baurus splutters. “Martin, just give me the damned basket.”
The words leave his mouth before he can stop them. He drops into a hasty bow, words of apology bubbling up in his throat, but the heir only blinks at him in bemusement. “Fine,” he says, and hands it over.
The Emperor’s quarters are indeed frigid, the bed unmade, blankets tossed in fitful sleep. The Xarxes sits unopened on the nightstand and Baurus moves it to the desk, gingerly and discreetly.
He props his blade across his lap to shave tinder from the wood, a base use that would send the swordmaster who trained him into a conniption. Sparks the nest of shavings in the hearth, feeds it sticks, gets it roaring. Hangs a little pot to boil water. The heir, watching this laborious process, threatens to intervene with a simple fire spell. Baurus is no mage but knows the mental strain of casting will only impede rest. He positions himself before the hearth to box Martin out.
The tea steeps. Baurus ladles it out and hands it over and nods at the Martin’s murmured thanks. Then he pulls a stool up by the bedside to supervise recovery. He is captain of the Blades, personally promoted by the previous Emperor. Bodyguard, guard of the body. If duty calls for him to play nursemaid, then nursemaid he will be.
Martin arches an eyebrow. “So this is how it’s going to be, eh?”
“This is how it’s going to be.”
“You’ve been spending too much time with Tanis,” Martin gripes, but smiles a private smile behind his cup.

@is-this-taken-too-questionmark the entirety of my dfk 2023 notes are a bit too long and incoherent and unstructured, so i figured i'd try to compile some topics ive thought about
putting it under a cut cause its still very long
jo and martina get a scene that directly parallels the martin/jonathan bedside scene from 2003. i would also change the way jo’s backstory is shared. and the backstory itself „my mother abandoned me in a disco“ is hilariously iconic, but it doesn’t have any emotional impact. it makes you laugh, even though it’s meant to be sad. instead, jo shares her backstory in the aforementioned parallel. and instead of telling her why SHE is sad, jo comforts martina by, idk, taking her to the lake. -„i always come here when im sad. or when i want to be alone.“ -„its beautiful.“ bonding moment basically. maybe they stumble over the Externs and overhear their plans or something, and thats how we make the shift to action and plot again
some things i wrote down:
Martina/Jo lesbianism
Skating
bedside scene
"I'll just stay here. At home. With you."
Lowkey breakup
jo gifting martina the phone
Justraucher Reunion. Obvsly
Expand on how Robert & especially JUSTUS feel afterwards (cause we dont see justus again until they meet at the hospital)
also on what happened back then
more detailed backstory
(Note -> i have a whole other document with just things about Back Then, i'll get into that later (possibly in a seperate post so it doesnt get *too long*)
Jo & Nichtraucher bonding at the piano
gay mentorship
-> after Jo/Martina’s breakup
Uli
show him being bullied more
make it more of an actual internal conflict
uli being assigned to lead the distraction - would i keep that? i feel like him running away when hes in a leadership role and for everyone to see cheapens his character. and i feel like it doesnt fit with the perception of his character if the others have trust in him. in the 2023 film, its seemingly just the externs who make fun of uli and bully him? so the „enemies“. i feel like its quite important to ulis character that everyone doesnt take him for full, even people on „his side“, even his friends. its a nice gesture from martina to assign uli that role, but it doesnt make sense character-wise. uli isnt used to leading. or even stepping up. the kids should theoretically not have trust in him to be able to do this. it also doesnt make sense to award someone like that with a leadership role, even if its an attempt to help them stand up. (which it didnt seem to be? or am i missing that? maybe it was.) it just… doesnt make sense. and it does uli dirty. when i watched the movie for the first time, i said „thats what you get when you cut sebastian.“ because someone from their group needs to be at the battle and direct it, someone is captive, and several people need to free them. it wouldnt work if only martina stormed the boat house. you need multiple people, and martina and matze need to be there. uli, however, should not and would not lead the attack. thats what we’d have sebastian for. (wonderful, cynical, bitchy sebastian) instead, uli would TRY to partake in the attack, chicken out, and run away. you know. like in the book
The Legend???
the reveal was literally just stupid.
I mean, you could keep that the legend is made up, but it should still have some kind of impact on the other students
like "yeah ok the legend is fake, but dude, he still climbed up there, that was crazy impressive"
Dont know how to feel abt Uli planning the whole thing. Doesnt feel right.
Fr. Kreuzkamm not as ridiculous. Like she still has a sense of humor and her style stays the same (ms frizzle fashion) but she should at least have some respect from the students
Bökh shouldnt be a school director
Bökh Vertrauenslehrer. (dont know how to translate that. like an official teacher who's supposed to be a confidante for the students (although at least i never went to any appointed confidants. but maybe that depends on the person))
school director always threatens to close the boarding school, Bökh stands against it and supports the students
the strict one and the nice one should simply be 2 separate people
would a nicer 2023 Bökh still have acted so shitty regarding Robert and Marie though? it kind of only feels right if he sucks a little bit
(although he obvsly could have changed in those years. but he doesnt seem to regret it or feel guilty so i doubt he feels bad abt it)
i was thinking i'd give this new strict boarding school director the name of the headmaster in the book (grünkern), but grünkern just isnt that kind of person. he's someone the students laugh about. which is more like frau kreuzkamm is in the movie
so i figured i'd call the boarding school director professor kreuzkamm and have frau doktor kreuzkamm be called frau doktor grünkern instead
(and take some more inspirations from book grünkern as well, with how the students treat him)
ruda would be called ruda grünkern then too. she doesnt really need to be kreuzkamm anyway
… i guess kreuzkamm would just be one of the internals then. or i suppose the externs would work too, if kreuzkamm is just a background character. i havent thought about if i would change who gets kidnapped
about that.
im still struggling with figuring out how i wanna do the conflict. i was thinking maybe i should throw the whole conflict out cause i find it entirely annoying. but it is a really big part of dfk 2023 wether i like it or not, and it's really hard to change it when i dislike fundamental parts of the way it is written.
first, i had the idea to make it about a conflict between the rich kids from the city up in the boarding school and the less wealthy kids from town, but im not equipped to write about classism and i dont want to be an asshole on accident
maybe instead, it’s a rivalry between the students from the school in town and those in the boarding school. yes, that sounds like it’s exactly the same, but i would make the boarding school be an actual school on top of the hill, not just a place where the students sleep.
i'm definitely keeping the part about it being two separate schools though. it would be a bit more close to the book in that way. (i would also give the other school the name from the the book, but i couldnt find it. it might not have had one?? would appreciate some help here if you know a name)
and ig the easiest way to explain the animosity is also like in the book. that its a thing between the schools which predates any of the students involved. they just carry it out.
but would they make up in the end then?? im still not sure. it's so hard to find some kind of middle ground between the way it is in the book and in dfk 2023 !!!
(which is because they have a fundamentally different understanding of how this conflict ends!!!!!!!! in dfk 2023, its a thing of overcoming differences and making peace, while in the book that was never the goal to begin with!!! they start and end as enemies!!!!! carolina!!!! carolina, you dont get it at all!!!!!!!!)
to tie it back in with the 2023 movie, you could make it so that the two schools are still doing some kind of "friendship project" to bury the hatchet. although that probably wouldnt come from the schools themselves if theyre so hostile towards each other...
(MAYBE. its a thing that frau kreuzkamm, or rather, frau grünkern started. but none of this is thought out rn, i’m getting away from my goal with this post)
like i said, i would make it two separate schools. town school vs boarding school prehistoric feud boarding school director kreuzkamm; i kind of see him as an old man with balding white hair and a big moustache. wears black suits. never laughs. closer to book kreuzkamm, but less sympathetic. he's supposed to fill the role of the antagonist within the boarding school. instead of justus (who's supposed to be a safe place for the students) threatening to close the boarding school, it's direktor kreuzkamm. frau professor grünkern, headmaster of the town school. (she needs a first name. (i made a note here to consult the dfk girlies (gn) so please drop your suggestions? how do you feel about friederieke)) mother of ruda, still. wears colourful shirts, is basically like in the movie. although i still stand by what i said earlier about making her less of a comic relief
OH!! i completely forgot to tell you about that. i had a thought when i made part ... i think it was part 27. where i wrote in the tags #now that i think about it #WHY is frau kreuzkamm not sitting with her family?? #girl you have a husband and kids stop making eyes at your colleague whos gay anyway and my thought was a big WHAT IF. what if frau kreuzkamm cheated on her husband ties together ruda’s disappointment in her, frau kreuzkamm making eyes at justus und justus perhaps trying it with women to get over/ignore robert that might be a bit too much if we’re talking about a realistic rewrite, but let me engage the thought for a moment back to what i was saying
if i want to go with the cheating-storyline; justus has caught her eye. EVEN THOUGH she has a stay-at-home-husband. the second child doesn’t seem to have saved the marriage i am still unsure about her role in the conflict between the schools. cause in the movie she's both „everyone be friends 🥰 we don't need to continue these disputes!“ and "your INMATES are HURTING my SWEET CHILDREN you need to CLOSE THE BOARDING SCHOOL" and i still don't know how to deal with that. but now i had the thought that maybe she's the one who wants the opposing schools to make up Still thinking about that
i have a lot more notes, especially about matz, and i haven't even touched on my thoughts about the justus-robert-marie situation. but i will put that in a reblog or something. this is getting too long.

What is Warreck's reality like? Could you tell us a little? Where are the Starks in this reality? What is the dynamic of the Bolton brothers like? From what I've seen, Warreck hates Ravette... What about their parents?
Warreck's reality is basically if Ramsay successfully became Lord Bolton, and took another wife after Jeyne Poole, or if we go by show dynamics, Sansa Stark, escapes him. Warreck's mother is another Stark, her name is Eyva Stark, of course due to Ramsay's abuse, her body becomes unable to survive giving birth, so only the children survive and they have no relation with her. Warreck is disinterested in Ramsay as a father, but he has BIG mommy issues. He literally attached himself to all his wetnurses as a child and would have freak outs when they were changed or when he eventually grew out of the nursing age. Warreck was desperate for motherly affection and yet avoided all of Ramsay's *attempts* to offer him fatherly affection. They're shitty attempts. But Warreck wouldn't appreciate it even if they were good attempts. He does NOT like Ramsay, and he dislikes Ravette because she looks alot like their father and is just as crazy. He thinks she is a nuisance and has tried, and failed.... to kill her numerous times.
Warreck would have had higher chances of being successful to kill Ravette if it wasn't for Solomon. Warreck is freaked out by Solomon, to say the least, and thats still saying alot considering Warreck literally eats people, even alive sometimes. Warreck is freaked out by Solomon because he is 90% sure his brother is a walking corpse and just a puppet to Ravette. Warreck was locked up in cage for a good portion of his teen years and when he finally was free, his brother was a bit different. (Alot different.)
As for the Starks, like with all my OC's Im still working on their lore and updating it all the time, so this will definitely change at some point, but I actually have no clue, yeah, they are like alive in the reality, but I don't know what they are doing per-say, my Bolton OC's are not involved in any of the canon drama, aside from whatever drama Ramsay's cooking up, especially since they are alive, like, twenty-five years afterwards, which Is why I don't know what the starks, nor the entirety of Westeros, are doing since that would mean I'd need to write a whole book at that point depicting everything that happened since. Despite the ending to the show sucking absolute balls, but for now, until the next book comes out, I was thinking of leaving Westeros to an ambigous reality that correlates with the show. Except for the fact that Ramsay doesn't die in this reality.
Warreck's got his own thing going on, basically terrorizing villages, hunting people for sport and eating them. And then Ravette, she does whatever Ramsay tells her, little Daddy's girl here. And Solomon, he does whatever Ravette tells him to. So basically, it's just chaos, chaos everywheres.
I really need to start thinking further into the lore of the characters, canon and not, around my OC's. But my main issue is the fact that I don't exactly want to change the main stories too much, even though people to AU'S all the time, so I struggle to think about ways that my characters can impact the story without them seeming too OP, and since George R.R Martin isn't even finished with the books for ASOIAF, I don't even know what to go off of when it comes to creating extra lore for the canon characters. I'd LIKE to, but I struggle to.
I am also always looking for way to implement my characters into the stories, so if you guys have any suggestions on how to help them impact the story, or in the Bolton OC's cases, help me figure out what the rest of Westeros is doing during their reality, I'd actually greatly appreciate it, especially since it'll help me feel like my OC's are actually in the asoiaf universe rather than being a seperate thing, because that also happens to me ALOT.
BY THE WAY. There will be more information on the Bolton triplet's' lore soon enough, I just need to START and finish the lore for Solomon. I wasn't too sure about even answering this ask yet until I have the final Bolton triplet done, but I figured why not, and then I'll just explain more when everything is thought out.

PSA for those who are confused on why we're freaking out about Celia
MASSIVE SPOLIER WARNING FOR THE MAGNUS ARCHIVES, IF YOU'RE ENJOYING PROTOCOL, GO LISTEN TO ARCHIVES
Now that that's out of the way, for those not in the know and willing to be spoiled, Celia was introduced in episode 100 as Lynne Hammond, afterwards, she wouldn't be seen again until the world ended in Season 5, where she would lose her name.
We meet back up with her when John and Martin (Chester and Norris we think) where she gave herself the name Celia, and is with a cult based around two important characters, Melanie King (a ghost hunter turned Magnus Institute employee, and 2nd person to ever quit the archives (she did this by blinding herself, literally, with a book awl)), and Georgina Barker (podcast runner, and an employee of the Magnus Institute, who can't feel fear)
The reason for this cult is too off topic to go over
The reason why this is all important, is because in the 2 episodes where Celia has been around, she brings up using tape recorders for work (that's how Archives worked), ask about cases where being buried alive or meat is prominent (2 of the Fears, the Buried and the Flesh respectively, with the Fears being the main cause of everything in Archives), recognizes Norris's voice (who is played by the same person who voiced Martin, and we've been guessing that Norris is Martin just stuck in the computer), and is looking into time travel, other universes, and teleportation (Archives ended with the fears being dragged back in-between dimensions, and Protocol takes place in a different universe than Archives as far as we can tell), and explains it away by saying it's for "Georgie," the nickname for Georgina Barker, who was the head of the cult Celia was a part of.
TL;DR, Celia is from Magnus Archives, and by all rights, she shouldn't be in Protocol. Along with that, she clearly remembers things that happened in Archives, when no one else does.
Hoped this help!

I finished TMA season 3
Spoilers for the ending ahead:
Episode 119 was genuinely insane. So I’ll get to that in a moment. But hearing Martin during Episode 118, talking to Elias. That scene was wonderful. I
I love Martin’s character so much. The way that he wants to help so badly. The amount of emotion behind his words. I love it.
Rewinding even earlier, we had that conversation Tim had with Jon about the trust he can give to everyone. I feel really bad for Tim, and what happened to him.
Now back to 119. When it first started not hearing the normal music was just an immediate shock. How the entire episode played out was hard to keep track of. But Basira managing to get out of the Unknowing just through sheer logic was really cool
That one character, using the voices of both Gertrude and leitner while talking to Jon was an amazing moment, and when Jon managed to break Tim’s delusion just by compelling him.
Daisy didn’t go down easy, she fought Breekon and Hope even without knowing what a gun is, and I love her for that.
Hearing about Tim and Daisy’s death afterwards, I’m sad to see them both go. But I think it’s only right that they went out like this.
Hearing about what happened to Jon too is terrible, but I’ve already finished the first episode of the 4th season so…
I’m glad Elias got his just desserts, hearing him be punched in the stomach was so satisfying after what he did to Martin.
Anyways I Have another 79 episodes to go watch. Will update you again later.

Being Honest (E42 Miles)
You're changing, I can't stand it
My heart can't take this damage
And the way I feel, can't stand it
Mmm, I don't understand this
"Miles what the fuck is your problem?!" [name] shouted out of pure frustration. It had been about 2 months since the death of Mr. Morales and Miles seemed to only be getting worse as time passed.
[name] had been the only one of Miles's friends to actually bond with his dad, so she was almost as hurt as he was, knowing her pain could never match his. Not that she could really let that show as she was too busy trying to make sure Miles didn't crash out.
"Bro just leave me alone right now" he cut his eyes over at her, observing the way she almost exploded at him but calmed herself down.
"Look, Miles, I know you're hurt. I promise I do. But that doesn't mean you can walk around and treat people who're trying to make sure you're okay, like shit!" she huffed, trying her best to get through to him.
His head slowly turned to her and they made intense eye contact before he spoke.
"Nobody asked you to"
[name] looked at him like he had 3 heads before she chuckled.
"Oh okay. Well since you Mr. Big and the fuck Bad, I'll leave you to your business, the fuck" she said, scrunching her face up while gathering her things.
Not a word was said as she walked out of his room.
Lately, I've been feeling' alone
But I'm clutching my chrome
Pray to my mama I'm gon make it home
Twenty missed calls, I ain't answer my phone
Miles watched his phone ring over and over, eventually silencing it, already knowing who it was.
He knew every night when he put that suit on, was another chance of him not making it back home. Not that he much cared about his own safety, he just didn't want to put the loss of both her husband and son on his mom. In the back of his head, he also knew he wouldn't ever want to put [name] through that type of pain.
The night she walked out of his room, he felt like she gave up on him. In his head, he figured it was going to happen, which is why he expected for that to be the case. So when she called him that night, he just stared at his phone.
He stayed by himself most days. He didn't go to school anymore, nor did he barely leave his room whenever he was home. At nights, he pushed all of his thoughts away that didn't correlate with his work.
He was alone. But while he thought it would be best, he caught himself thinking a few times. Thinking about his life before tragedy struck.
When he still had his happiness. His dad. When he had [name].
I got my front, but is you behind me?
Get goofy like Martin and Gina
Or get greedy like Keisha and Tommy
Then get deady like Whitney and Bobby
He missed her. Even though he tried to convince himself he didn't, he knew he did.
At nights, he would sometimes sit on top of a random building and stare into the sky thinking. Memories of him and [name] before invaded his mind. The way they would just sit in his room for hours talking about absolutely nothing. Just basking in each others presence.
He thought about all the times she defended his name both in front of him and behind his back. The way she would randomly get suspended because "some bitch don't know how to keep your name out her mouth".
Thoughts of her smile and laugh filled his mind, causing a small smile to form on his. How she would laugh and smile her way out of any situation always blew his mind. He could daydream about her pearly whites lighting up the sky all day. How laugh she would hard whenever they teamed up to prank his or her parents. Or when he tickled her, he couldn't help but smile at the way she laughed and squirmed to get his hands off of her.
He thought back to the night of the argument. He knew he should've reached out afterwards or at least answered any of her calls. Quite frankly, he was scared. He didn't know what she wanted to talk about, plus he was scared to be vulnerable around anyone. Plus, he was keeping her out of harm's way the further he stayed away from her. In his head, he knew that was some bullshit and just a bunch of stupid excuses he told himself to bury the guilt under.
Whenever he tried to smoke the pain away, it just came back harder. He looked at the Dutch: Dream Fusion wrapper and felt a tug at his heart as he thought of how she specifically always asked for that type of gar. It was something stupid to get emotional at, but he found himself wiping a tear from his eye as he stared at it. He missed how they would get violently high and watch a movie while pigging out on a bunch of snacks.
After a few more thoughts and a decision to go with his impulsive thoughts, he found himself outside of her door.
You're changing, I can't stand it
My heart can't take this damage
And the way I feel, can't stand it
Mmm, I don't understand this
He hesitantly knocked, waiting a few minutes before the door was opened. He made eye contact with the girl he had been longing for for a month. Her eyes watered just like his before she embraced him in a hug.
He finally broke down. Finally allowed his emotions to be on full display as she hurriedly brought him into the house. He sobbed into her arms for what felt like an hour, taken over by the feeling of comforting arms.
"Fuck, [name], I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to push you out- well I did but I didn't- I don't- fuck I missed you," he sobbed, feeling her hands play with one of his braids as she shushed him quietly.
"It's fine Miles, I understand"
"What's all this noise-," they heard as another light turned on.
They looked up to the voice, seeing [name]'s mother.
"Oh, Miles" she sighed, walking over and pulling the boy into a hug on her own. "We've been so worried about you! [name] said you weren't answering the phone and Rio, poor Rio, she said she barely even sees you." she said, hugging him tighter.
"I'm sorry, ma" he mumbled, squeezing her tighter as well.
"And you know, if you need anything, we're here. You understand?" she asked and he nodded his head.
She walked back to her room, leaving the two teenagers in the living room.
"Don't apologize for taking your space. I understand." she said as his mouth opened to speak.
"I'm not apologizing for taking my space. I'm apologizing for how I acted that night. And for worrying you" he mumbled, making her smile softly.
"Don't. I shouldn't have-"
"You did everything right, pretty, I promise. I just..." he paused and sighed. "I just didn't want pity from anyone else. I was getting it from everyone. But I didn't realize you weren't pitying me, you were just... there for me. So thank you. A lot." he said, looking up at her.
She nodded and sent him a smile. "Don't worry about it. That's what I'm here for" she said, making him smile a bit.
"Yeah yeah" he said, waving her off playfully.
"Soooooo, we good now?" she asked, making him look at her like she was stupid.
"Nigga duh" he chuckled, making her roll her eyes playfully.
"Not too fucking much now"
The end.

Apparently I have a type when it comes to enemies to lovers trope. For me if the ship isn’t too toxic then I would be into it.
1.Dasey-Canadian tv show about 2 step siblings who couldn’t stand each other but have sweet moments and show that they become closer as series progress. They were literally enemies (not really but Derek likes to prank her and she would get annoyed and try to get back to him to piss him off) to friends to lovers trope. They have such a strong chemistry and we all wanted them together growing up. Truman was literally Derek 2.0 but toxic. The fandom is still growing strong to the point we have a spin off movie and hoping it becomes a TV series because there’s so many unanswered questions. Like Casey is obviously sick of her husband and seemed burnt out AF plus I want to see him be uncomfortable and a third wheel in front of Dasey since everytime they have a love interest they automatically become a third wheel aside from Sally (she was an amazing love interest) plus I just want Dasey to act more like a married couple.
2.Zutara-Zuko and Katara were enemies to friends. I was really hoping for them to be lovers by the end of the series and was so disappointed. They have so many things in common with parallels that they would be each other ying Yang. They both lost their mothers, both are stubborn when they get mad, he rises with the sun, she rises with the moon, water and fire are polar opposites. He was the blue spirit and she was the painted lady alter egos. She was the first one to trust him and he betrayed that but also tried really hard to make up for it. He was the only one who gave her closure to find her mother’s killer and let her decide on what she wants to do and they became good friends from that mission. The Ember Island play showing us that Zuko and Katara were into each other but also making fun of Zutara. June always calling Katara Zuko’s gf whenever she makes an appearance. Then the battle between Zuko vs Azula and how he saved Katara from lightning and almost died in the process, that was a powerful scene I have ever seen in a child’s cartoon. Plus if they were a couple Katara would make an amazing fire lady since she already has the skills from travelling with the Avatar and solving problems whenever they travel, Zuko would see her as an equal plus it would show that the fire nation is serious about ending the war by marrying a waterbender and show a balance to the rest of the world. Plus if they were parents they wouldn’t Favorite one or the other and treat their kids as equals since Zuko knows how to fight without his fire bending and could teach his son/daughter and Katara has Sokka. I’m still bitter on how it ended and even to this day Zutara is a pretty popular ship.
3.Chilumi-Ever since Childe came over and said “Hey Girlie hold still” comment or even the Japanese dub. Many people ship them as a couple since they are enemies but he’s so kind towards her and even after their fight he is still kind. It gives off enemies to lovers and if it was an anime where Lumine is the main character and Aether wasn’t a main character, then the writers would 100% make Chilumi a thing and probably just kill him off by saving her. It’s one of the most popular ships in Genshin.
4.Catwoman and Batman-Enemies to lovers but Catwoman is more of an antihero, yes she is a criminal but if it’s to save Batman from another enemy or he needs her help, she would do it since she loves him plus they can hook up afterwards. They even get married afterwards in the comics.
5.Martin and Diana from Martin Mysterh. Not really enemies but they also like to fight alot but then have their nice moments. In the cartoons they are opposites and would argue but when it comes to saving one or the other they would in a heartbeat and have sweet moments plus in the comics they are literally a married couple and never were step siblings…
6. Flash and Killer frost. In comics they were enemies but in TV series Killer Frost is Caitlin Snow. During the TV series they have a really amazing friendship and have many things in common and I thought the writers would pair them together since that’s what it feels like during S1 and how so many villains would kidnap her and he had to save her. Even in another dimension when he was fighting Killer Frost he told her he doesn’t want to hurt her. When Caitlin frost became killer frost again he didn’t want to hurt her and she worked with Evil Barry (Savitar) now Killer frost and the flash work together when it comes to fighting. I really dislike WA because WA was the toxic ship I have ever seen and the fandom were so toxic and I stopped watching The flash.
7.Maou and Emi from The devil is a part timer. They were enemies since he’s a devil and she’s a hero. She defeated the demon king Satan but wanted to make sure he was defeated so she followed him to the human world. During the human world Maou would show Emi kindness while she was hostile towards him. In one scene he saved her by treating to her wounds. They became frenemies, he apologized but she still doesn’t 100% forgive him from his past but is willing to understand and become a friend to him. They even became parents which made them closer into having a family bond.
8.Nick and Adalind from Grimm. They were enemies and became lovers because she got pregnant while pretending to be his ex gf. They gotten closer and Nick was willing to protect her to make sure their baby is safe and they became a couple in the end.
9.Caroline and Tyler. Not really enemies but since Caroline is a vampire and Tyler is a werewolf…it makes sense that they would not like each other plus before they became occults. Tyler thought she was selfish and spoiled, Caroline thought he was hot headed and temperamental. They became a couple later on in the series and broke up…I stopped watching Vampire Diaries when she got with Klaus and Elena got with Damon.
10. Aerrow and Cyclonis-Stormhawks was a Canadian cartoon and I loved it as a kid. Whenever I seen Aerrow and Cyclonis fighting I was just thinking dang I wish they were an enemies to lovers couple. Idk why I thought that but apparently some people agreed with me since there’s fanfiction.

Nothing like this was supposed to happen, but someone mentioned Jon and Elias dancing, and I. I couldn’t resist. I am weak. I also don’t know how I’m going to edit this into a cohesive story, but??? That’s a problem for the future.
Do let me know if you’re enjoying this fic, though! :3
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
***
For some infernal reason, Elias makes them suffer through an office party.
His assistants flat out refuse to come, but Jon is a department head, and should make at least a token appearance. They’re celebrating an anniversary of the establishment of the Institute, and Jon very much does not care which one it is—
--one hundred and sixty years—
But at least the wine is nice.
Elias drags him around and introduces him to his benefactors: Peter Lukas and Simon Fairchild and some others, old men with more money than common sense. Jon shakes Peter’s hand and feels the cold, creeping fog curl around his feet; looks into empty eyes and can’t see or hear anyone else—
Elias’s hand curls around his bicep, proprietary and way too presumptuous.
“Do not startle my Archivist, Peter,” Elias says. “He’s rather shy.”
They all laugh at Jon as if he were an object, paraded around for their approval. Well, Jon couldn’t care less about it, so he smiles through clenched teeth, makes whatever small talk he deems unavoidable, and excuses himself at the earliest opportunity.
He sulks at the top of the balcony and watches the colourful crowd milling below. How many of them are of the Beholding, then? How many serve other Powers? There are patterns there, he can feel the shape of them, but they don’t make sense to him yet. And wine makes him unsettled, overly warm; he can feel his inhibitions melt away, stupidly texts Wish you were here to Martin, because wouldn’t it be nice to have a shoulder to lean on?
Mostly, however, he watches Elias. He seems awfully close to Peter Lukas; even now, they stand together, caught in a whispered conversation, Elias with his hand on Peter’s shoulder, leaning a tad too far into the man’s personal space for it to be accidental…
They both look up, and catch Jon staring. Jon shudders; the men just laugh.
Thankfully, some of his former colleagues from Research are here. They ask polite questions about his new position, but are mostly just content to discuss old stories and their current projects. They miss Sasha; Jon lets her know via text, and receives a heart emoji in response. It’s almost pleasant. Easy enough not to wonder how many of them are aware of the Eye’s watchful gaze.
But he does wonder. He can’t help but wonder.
Do they know they can’t leave? Everyone’s acting like nothing is amiss, and it’s driving Jon insane. There’s a buzz in his head that he’s trying to drown out with more wine, that prickling sensation of constant surveillance, the underlying awareness that all these happy, smiling, innocent people are doomed, that they have already signed their freedom away, that there is nothing Jon can do for them…
He lets the conversation drift around him and then, eventually, away. He doesn’t seek out company afterwards, content to sleepwalk through the Institute halls, paying no attention to anyone and receiving none of it in turn. It is peaceful. It is terrifying.
“Archivist.”
The voice is vaguely familiar. Peter Lukas, his mind supplies – captain of the Tundra. The fog thickens around them, muffling sound and light. He can still see people, they are still there, but Jon doesn’t know them. Doesn’t care to know them. Certainly no more than they care to know him.
“Captain Lukas,” Jon says. “To what do I owe the pleasure?”
His voice drifts through the mists. Peter laughs.
“You know, I could very easily take you right now,” he says. “Snatch you right from underneath Elias’s thumb. Wouldn’t that serve him well?”
Jon shrugs.
“Can’t imagine he’d care.”
He can’t imagine anyone would care. Jon could stay here forever. Probably should. It’s not like he’s making much of a difference out there – all of his actions only serve to make the situation worse.
Except Elias would care – he might care about the failure of his pet project. But he can replace Jon easily, can he not? Sasha would make a great Head Archivist. She’d get the position she had always wanted, that should have been hers in the first place, that Jon had stolen from her. Tim won’t have to suffer Jon’s entitlement and paranoia, won’t be looking at him as if Jon was going insane, won’t have to struggle with that seething rage… and Martin… Martin deserves someone better. Someone who will treat him right, and not as a punching bag or a source of emotional support.
He can feel the cold, damp fog seep through his clothes. Its tendrils creep along bare skin, leave him shivering. But that, too, passes; he stands still, numb to the mist that will swallow him whole. He can see nothing, hear no one…
“How are you doing this?” he asks.
Peter Lukas is a shadow in the fog, his voice coming from somewhere far, far away.
“I’m not doing anything to you, Archivist. You’re doing it to yourself.”
“But why?”
He knows why. It is one of the Powers, feeding on his fear, the way it did to Naomi Herne, Carlita Sloane, Andrea Nunis… their statements float through his memories, each one stark and clear, even though everything else slowly sinks back into the fog. They made it through. And Jon took their fear and committed it to tape, picked it apart and studied it, filed it away with all the others, fed on it, and for what? What good does it do? It cannot help him now. It didn’t help them. It never helped anyone.
And if he stays here, it never will.
Jon shakes his head, his hands. He is shivering now, chilled to the very bone; he can barely feel the tips of his fingers, where they’ve gone pale and cold and numb.
“That’s not a very nice trick to pull at a gala, of all places,” he says irritably.
The fog is melting away. Or perhaps it was never there in the first place. But he can see people, real people, moving about them, exchanging idle gossip, laughing, flirting. There’s music playing, an honest-to-God string quartet that Elias always insists on bringing to these events if no one manages to stop him in time.
“I disagree. There’s something deliciously ironic about it, wouldn’t you say?” Peter grins. It’s not a very pleasant grin; his eyes remain lifeless, cold.
Jon wants to argue, but his teeth are chattering. Low temperatures never agreed with him, and it’s been even worse recently. Has he lost weight? It might explain why even his suit was hanging a bit awkwardly off his frame, much as the rest of his clothes. Huh. He had attributed it to stretched fabric, but perhaps…
He feels the warmth of another person, stepping up smoothly on his right to place a hand on his shoulder. For a brief moment he feels the brush of fingers on the nape of his neck, just above the collar of his ill-fitting jacket; warmth blooms beneath his skin, like a ray of sunshine on an otherwise cloudy day. He has to forcibly hold himself still not to burrow into that heat, push his way all the way into its nice, secure embrace, and soak up everything it has to offer.
Because it’s Elias. Of course it’s Elias.
“If you wanted to dance, Peter, you could have just asked,” Elias says. His tone is pleasant, almost playful, but narrowed eyes and stiffness of his posture betray the irritation he must be feeling. “No need for such underhanded tactics.”
“But you love them so,” Peter says. His smile, when he addresses Elias, is a touch more genuine than the bland expression he has for everyone else. Jon is trying very hard not to consider the implications of that, mostly because he is still shivering and it’s taking all of his willpower and whatever remains of his dignity not to cling to Elias’s warmth like a swooning maiden. Peter gives him a short, unreadable look, and turns back to Elias. “I will see you later. Take better care of your pets in the meantime.”
“I do not recall asking for your advice, but thank you nonetheless,” Elias says smoothly. “Shall we?”
The last question is directed at Jon. He finds himself nodding numbly, content to follow Elias’s in their not-quite embrace, up and until he notices where Elias is leading them.
“No,” he says.
“It’ll warm you up,” Elias says.
“I am not dancing with you.”
“Whyever not?”
Because I hate you, Jon thinks aggressively, making sure to stare directly in Elias’s eyes. Out loud, he says: “Because you’re my boss, half of the Institute is here, and I don’t want to fuel any more inane gossip.”
Elias sighs dramatically. “You care way too much what other people think of you. I, for one, think it is a splendid idea.”
And of course he manages to manoeuvre Jon exactly where he wants him: the middle of the dancefloor, among other couples, who are swaying to the music with varying degrees of skill or a sense of rhythm. And of course Elias’s hand slides down Jon’s back, to rest below his shoulder blade; his other reaches for Jon’s hand and tugs it upwards, curling warmly around stiff, frozen fingers.
“Elias,” Jon whispers urgently. “I can’t dance.”
He doesn’t know what to do with his free hand, or his legs, or the rest of his body. Their new position puts them awkwardly close, facing each other, even if they have to angle their heads for their eyes to meet. Elias has him more or less trapped in the cage of his arms, and if his self-satisfied smirk is anything to go by, doesn’t intend to let go any time soon.
“Just follow my lead,” he says, smooth as you please.
And then, suddenly, they are moving.
Elias shifts his body weight forward, barely giving enough warning before Jon has to scramble backwards, to avoid colliding with his leg. He clutches onto the fabric of Elias’s suit, and stares down, trying desperately to mirror the movements of Elias’s legs. Which are, annoyingly, a bit longer than his own, their stride much longer. And smoother. And more self-assured.
“Look at me, Jon,” Elias murmurs.
He’s moving backwards now, and Jon has to race to catch up with him. His gaze never leaves Jon’s face. Miraculously, they don’t collide with anyone; he wonders if Elias is keeping an eye on the dancefloor from a higher vantage point, like one of the portraits or any of the Eye-shaped embellishments.
“This isn’t helping,” Jon gasps.
He steps on Elias’s foot; Elias barely seems to notice.
“Try to relax,” Elias says. “Let me lead you.” He pulls Jon closer, much closer; the distance between them is now scant few inches. His steel-grey eyes are hypnotizing to look at, even as Jon’s thoughts scatter. “Trust me.”
Jon isn’t cold anymore. He is fairly sure he must be burning up, from shame and mortification. And he can’t hold Elias’s gaze, not from up close, so he shuts his eyes instead, and considers his options. Make an utter fool of himself by causing a scene? Continue to stomp on his boss’s feet at this very public event? Or actually try to dance, blend in with the crowd, and pray no one is paying attention?
Of course, that would require putting his trust in Elias Bouchard, which is just about the last place Jon ought to be putting it. He knows this. He isn’t stupid. But so much of his life is already in the man’s hands; it’d be a strange place to draw the line.
He exhales, slowly, deliberately, praying that some of the tension bleeds from his muscles. He shifts his posture, leans back in Elias’s embrace and rests the weight of his back more securely against his hand. He loosens the death grip he held on Elias’s fingers, allows their fingers to lace together. And he tries to respond to Elias’s movements, tries to feel the rhythm of his breathing, the changes in his posture and the way he gently steers Jon’s body with subtle movements of his hands.
He still can’t look. He cannot look, he feels too awkward, but otherwise it is almost—nice. To surrender in this manner. To the rhythm of the music, to the flowing motions, to Elias himself. He feels light on his feet, possibly because Elias is half-carrying him now, as they glide their way across the dance floor. He will probably regret this later, but “later” feels like a foreign concept and, for now, Jon simply lets go.
There’s a pleasant haze in his mind, so unlike the cold, creeping fog from earlier. It clouds his senses nonetheless, to the point where Jon barely registers that something has changed; music stops and they stop with it, their breaths quickened, Elias’s pulse racing beneath Jon’s touch, Jon’s own heart not falling far behind. The hand at his back dips ever so slightly, fingers splayed wide, almost at his waist. Elias’s suit is rumpled at his shoulder where Jon has been clutching it earlier; he smooths it now, as best as he can, and tries not to shiver when Elias exhales against his ear, whispers something that might be Jon’s name.
Jon opens his eyes.
This was a mistake. This was all a horrid, unforgivable mistake. Elias’s mask of smug self-satisfaction seems to have slipped away; there’s colour in his cheeks, his lips remain slightly parted, and his steel-grey eyes seem vulnerable and open in a way Jon has never seen them before. It would be easy, so very easy right now to look deeper, to see past Elias’s carefully maintained defences, to see him. All of him. And there’s a hunger gnawing at Jon now, the burning need to examine Elias’s thoughts and emotions, to have all his secrets uncovered, to peel away each and every layer of his mind until he is laid bare before Jon… and the worst part of it is that he knows, in this very moment, that Elias would let him.
They part so suddenly that Jon can’t tell who moves first.

U — Single Parent(s)
From the moment Tilly had been born, Daniel had dedicated his life to her. He had known that from the moment he held her, everything he did would be to make her happy, to have her smile at him.
Unfortunately, that meant keeping romantic relationships at a distance. He didn't want to introduce anyone to Tilly until he was sure that they wouldn't leave in a few weeks. He didn't want to introduce someone and have her like them, just for that person to leave. Daniel could deal with someone leaving and breaking his heart, but Tilly's heart? No, that was unimaginable.
Daniel liked Lando. Could even see himself building a life with Lando, but Lando was young. Younger than Daniel, younger than Daniel had been when Tilly was born. And Daniel knew that had a partner introduced him to a kid that age, Daniel perhaps wouldn't have been the one to stay around. He would've told himself that he wasn't responsible enough, mature enough, and anything else along those lines to make himself feel better about leaving.
___
Lando loves Daniel.
There's no other way about it. He'd fallen in love with the older Australian despite warnings from his friends that Lando would never be first for Daniel. He'd always play second fiddle to Daniel's daughter. But Lando didn't care, he loved Daniel. Even if Daniel hadn't introduced Lando to his daughter or made any mention of introducing them.
It had been Daniel and Tilly for so long, so Lando understood why it hadn't happened yet. He can handle not meeting Tilly for now.
"What's got you all worked up?" Lando asks. With Tilly at a sleepover, Daniel was spending the night at Lando's apartment.
"Betty from PTA," Daniel replies, rapidly texting on his phone. “The DJ for the end of year party pulled out last minute and everyone else is too expensive for the budget,” he explains.
Lando’s no professional like Martin, but he has done some gigs here and there for a few bucks. “Maybe I could offer to do it,” Lando suggests — only realizing afterwards that he might be crossing a boundary.
If Daniel thinks so, he doesn’t say a thing. “It’s a children’s party, buddy bear. I know it’s not the usual crowd you’ve played for,” Daniel says.
“I know, but I want to help,” Lando replies, “but if you think I shouldn’t, then-“
“No, no, I would like that,” Daniel says nodding as he sends off another text to presumably Betty from PTA.
___
Daniel loves Lando.
And he needs to introduce Lando to Tilly soon…ish.

Erika Kinokami
First post of the Godzillaverse that I like to call Biola: Monster Genesis! For a start, who better to show off than the "series'" main protagonist and namesake of this gojiverse, Erika Shiragami Kinokami
Born 2009 to Genchiro Kinokami of the Typhon organization, an organization dedicated to the study of the giant organisms known as kaiju, she was already a genetic test from birth, having genes from multiple plants in her genome as a test run of giving humans photosynthetic capabilities (as a result, her skin has a bit of a greenish tone). Other than the photosynthesis and her lifelong friend being a robot⏤an AI-driven prototype of the Tezcatlipoca unit (T-units for short) technically designated as RD-A10N3 but given the name Jet Jaguar from Erika mispronouncing the Aztec deity's name⏤her life was fairly normal... until very recently.
While out on the field in a military effort against both a particularly aggressive hive of the giant neuropteran Meganula and a mated pair of volant kaiju given the name "Rodan", Erika (and Martin, an upstart kaiju-themed influencer tagging along) ran afoul of a Meganula larva within the cave systems being explored. The insect struck Erika in the abdomen with its claw, grievously wounding her. The Meganula would've killed her after that had it not been for the third Rodan, a smaller, sneaky male resembling a female, breaking through the wall and piercing the Meganula with its long, barbed tongue. For a split second, it looked to see the two other small creatures in there, but then had its attention grabbed by the controlled eruption of the nearby Mt. Aso where the Rodans had nested. As the "Faeder Rodan" flew off to try and save its mate. Jet Jaguar arrived and carried Erika off to safety.
After being brought to a Typhon facility on the remote Odo Island, Erika then undergoes a radical new treatment to help save her life. She's treated with an experimental kind of stem cell therapy incorporating cells and DNA from a kaiju whose emergence nearly 70 years ago spurred the formation of Typhon the following year; a kaiju whose power made it only deserving of the title "King of the Monsters". That beast's healing properties mean that Erika Kinokami now had a third genetic component: Gojira. After waking up, Erika seemed pretty fine at first (besides her not needing glasses anymore, being able to see ultraviolet light, and the healed up wound resembling plant resin), but she would be kept there to make sure there weren't any side effects. The next day, Erika was feeling a bit restless, and Jet suggested they go out and walk for a bit as some nature therapy. It was nice and they even found a cave system with 100% less maneating insects and plenty of nest subterranean biodiversity… but then the irradiated GNA (Godzilla DNA) really started kicking in.
Erika felt nothing at first, but then Jet pointed out that her face was getting pale and even a bit greenish. Erika dismisses that comment at first before Jet adds a small little elaboration: he means greenish even compared to her normal, chloroplast-infused skin tone. Then seeing a more vibrant green creeping up her arms, Erika bluntly agrees that they need to go back Now, and they make off. As they make their way to the cave entrance, Erika not only has leaves sprouting from the base of her neck and her hips (her hair was also gradually melding into leaves), but she starts growing from her human height of 5'1" (155 cm). Once they're at the cave entrance, she was actually too big to fit through, but ended up breaking through the entrance from her growing too big for it, finally stopping at a final height of 20 meters (and also giving a scream of terror and confusion afterwards). Jet, of course, called for help and Erika's dad and other Typhon personnel arrived. She was then brought back to the facility and later filled in on the whole GNA situation, but not before another party came by from the other side of the hill the cave entrance was on: Godzilla.
Strangely (although the maser tanks and other military units brought in preparation for the detected approach of another kaiju were hidden in the forest), the 50-meter dinosaur was noticeably unaggressive for the encounter, walking up to Erika, closely observing her with some minor vocalizations, and then leaving.
For Erika, the experience was even stranger. To her, Godzilla's face looked perplexed, showing more emotion than any photos or video footage of the Monster King she had seen before this day, and she could have sworn she heard a voice coming from him... a voice that called her a... "Biollante"?

So having only watched the mess that was Armageddon from Flash S8, I've mostly gotten my info about that season second hand and none of it really puts me in a rush to see the season despite the return of Ronnie (expect not really) and a heroic version of Eobard showing up.
And I admit, I'm still trying to piece together an alt take on the season that would have enticed me to watch after Armageddon. Just as a thought exercise for now, but it could easily be for fanfic purposes later.
Setting aside the first five episodes of the season, the only four things I hear about when people talk about S8 is that the episode focused on Nora & Bart is cute, the Ronnie psych-out plot was rushed, nothing really happens with the Iris time sickness plot until the end of the season, and the heroic Eobard plot (where Eobard gets one of Barry's love interests from the comics and also the face-ripping off thing that comics!Eobard did to comics!Barry) was also rushed. And it seems like the biggest problem the season had was pacing.
I am... not surprised.
So according the Arrow wiki, S8 was broken up into three main arcs. Armageddon, Death Revisited, and It's All Negative. There's a two episode interlude between the first two arcs, and a three episode interlude between the second and third arcs.
I'd have to say, looking over the plot summaries for Death Revisited, they spent too much time foreshadowing and not enough time focused on Ronnie & Caitlin & Frost. If the heart of the story line is supposed to be Caitlin's grief over Ronnie being dug back up and the sisterly love that's grown between Caitlin and Frost, then they needed to commit to it and build those two aspects of the storyline up first.
If the interlude were cut down to just one episode, then we keep Impulsive Excessive Disorder as the post-Armageddon breather but end it with a teaser about Eobard Thawne (Matt edition) showing up in present day Central City, found by Meena. With the third arc foreshadowed as being a result of XS and Impulse's time travel, the second arc starts. It also takes the second arc from six episodes to seven.
Cutting out Marcus, Caitlin's quickly forgotten about boyfriend would probably help with the pacing a lot more too. Instead Caitlin's issues with Frost/Mark become the very valid point that Mark hasn't actually done anything to earn Caitlin's trust, but also jealousy because she's reminded of what she had with Ronnie. Underscored by Caitlin having started dreaming about Ronnie lately and flashbacks to her relationship with him when she sees Frost out with Mark. The three of them wind up looking into a recent death of one of Caitlin's colleagues - and friends - who'd recently been on the same panel as Caitlin at the science & tech conference from the Armageddon arc. This winds up being their first encounter with the Black Flame, which Frost notes rather uncomfortably seems drawn to Caitlin.
By the end of the episode Mark would have demonstrated that he really is trying to be a better person, not just to earn Caitlin's trust but because it's what he wants for himself. And Caitlin having a heart to heart with Frost about how their relationship as sisters is what helped Caitlin overcome her heartache over losing Ronnie and move on with her life, though she's not sure she'll ever truly stop grieving him entirely - the episode stinger would have the black flame appearing in somewhere in Central City with Ronnie stepping out of it.
The next episode, Caitlin's seeing Ronnie everywhere while the Black Flame goes after more people. Frost is concerned about Caitlin's mental well being and when the episode culminates in Ronnie showing up 'for real' and asking for Caitlin's help in stabilizing him without Martin, Frost is very suspicious. But the entire team helps Caitlin reprogram the quantum splicer to help him return to normal. Afterwards all his scans show Ronnie as being a perfectly normal human. Caitlin is elated and kisses him, but Frost is worried that's still not Ronnie, which she confides in Mark.
The third episode has Ronnie creating a rift between Caitlin and Frost as he needs Caitlin's entire focus to be on him. Her love for Frost and her friends is a problem but Frost in particular is holding Caitlin back. As far as he's concerned, anyway.
Frost would probably be the one to figure out that Ronnie was actually the source of the Black Flame in the fourth episode but by the time she figures it out, Caitlin's already left to spend time alone with "Ronnie" forcing the team to look for her frantically. Episode five would have Caitlin learn the truth but by then she's been 'poisoned' by her proximity to 'Ronnie' and her rekindled love for him having given Deathstorm the in he needed to start transforming her into another of his kind. By the time the team finds them, Caitlin has accidentally manifested black flames herself.
Episode 6 would focus on Ronnie and Frost's fight over Caitlin with Caitlin ultimately choosing Frost but in doing so the transformation she's going through begins to kill her. If Deathstorm can't have Caitlin, no one will.
Episode 7, Frost knowingly risks dying to save Caitlin. As she puts it to Mark, she was created from to protect Caitlin but has become so much more. Because Caitlin loved her, Frost became her own person and has learned to live for herself. She no longer sees protecting Caitlin as an obligation to run from, but a choice she makes out of love. When Frost dies after absorbing the hellfrost powers as well as Deathstorm's powers, she's seemingly absorbed back into Caitlin. Which would make Caitlin's certainty that Frost is alive within her later on make more sense.
The next interlude is the funeral for Frost but from there I'm not sure where to go. Iris' time sickness never totally made sense and I still think it should have been wrapped up as part of Armageddon.
Obviously Eobard would get introduced a lot sooner and take part in several episodes proving himself as a hero, only to make it more tragic when EoWells either intentionally or unintentionally utilizes his more heroic self to facilitate his return for the season finale.
