#and then add on not knowing the game yet and having two teachers and Grian (who will do Grian things) would be great

The Sub-1’s are an amazing trio and frankly just hilarious, honestly they are SO going to fall apart, but the whole Skizz-Mumbo-Grian dynamic makes me REALLY want to see Mumbo play Phasmo with them at some point. Impulse and Skizz have recently already been teaching other people how to play more (Xisuma, Pearl, Evan and Katelyn, etc etc) and Mumbos jumpy enough as it is, it’d be fantastic

Gladly :)
So you know many works of his are based on tragedy, comedy and romance. And mostly it's all of them. You can see pieces where a person indebts his life to another, a tragic story of death, a story of rueful loyalty.
I see all of this in s1 and in s2.
Taking away the fact that this is happening in Minecraft, and it's all in good fun...(this is in respect to s1)
Etho is a master of his art, feared by many and respected by all. He is a lover of his craft. It's best to not cross him. He's a formidable enemy and a strong ally.
Cleo and bdubs are comrades in arms. They fight together for what's theirs. And withheld their honour which was their crastle. Theirs is a tragic story of 2.
Scott and solidarity are two loving people, who had little grudges to bear outside of themselves. They were in love, and had their peaceful home in a beautiful valley. But alas, war spares none.
Scar and Grian, what can I say. They were friends, they were fellow businessmen, they were the link to each other. Grian had indebt his life to scar. Scar was the crazy madman and Grian was his care taker. One of them was a master mind, but which one we cannot tell. Their travels and endeavours were the comic relief.
Tango was a master of games. You could call him the fair person. He was one of the last to pick alliances. He would make games for others to make gain or make loss, but nothing was personal for him.
Impulse, ah the Jack off all trades. What can i say. He is too friendly, couldn't bother picking a side. That was his downfall. He lost all 3 of his lives to all 3 of the sides.
BigB. my dude just got his cookie stolen and got pulled into a war.
Now... Martyn and Ren. A brotherhood, bound by blood. Had they done anything wrong, yet the war was brought upon them. Their story is the story of the strongest love to exist.
Okay so I explained the characters as best as I could. But mainly it's the way they each have the part in the story is what reminds me of this.
Ren and Martyn were the shylock (merchant of Venice). They were considered the villain of the story but that is very untrue. They were just doing what they do, and mischief was brought upon them.
You could consider scar and Grian as the protagonist. It's subjective really, and it can be considered that grian is the main mastermind who had hidden intentions than what's visible. It's like reading into it like an English teacher does. Scar is the comedic relief and the friend of the protagonist.
So if this was a work by shakespeare, then it likely would be a tragic romance.
I hope I did justice in my explanations, feel free to add stuff, send asks about it, and share your opinions. Reblogs>>>likes
Scott Smajor can interact, but at his own cost.
As I gradually read Shakespeare, I realise how much last life resembles a similar work.
I will elaborate if asked to.
