Alright. Jegulus, but they meet thanks to Peter. Peter who sometimes went out at night because of insomnia, who at some point came across Regulus sitting all alone in an archway, and instantly activated the Must Keep Friends Happy Mode™, sneaking food to him from the kitchen and becoming somehow one of the only people that Regulus trusted. And at some point he’s with the Marauders and casually mentions this friend of his who he sees every other night, and they get curious but Peter won’t betray Regulus’ identity to them, so James decides to follow him one night and it somehow (although he keeps denying it) becomes his favorite part of the day, to watch Regulus smile and laugh, because he finds him truly beautiful when he’s himself. And Peter notices him because of course he knows his friends’ footsteps and postures and tics, and of course he decides to introduce the two.
And they fall in love. And there’s confetti and rainbows in everywhere. And a unicorn singing Sky Full of Stars in the distance. And they live happily ever after. And it’s a fairytale. And that part never happens because IT IS TRAGIC AND THEY DIE YOUNG.

this is me on Christianity, I see it as a gnostic, I see it as something the Romans persecuted, and didn't stop persecuting just because they claimed to have converted. Real true Christians have always been in the vast minority, compared to the fakes wearing the clothes but still planning to sin without apology...and i don't mean "sin" like be gay and rob Walmart (when if you're gay then God made you gay for a reason and Walmart steals from workers every day), I mean sin like truly harming human beings, that is a crime, a sin, and something the ruling class does to us. I am a Christian socialist and I see this as an extension of Christianity, feeding all people, loaves and fishes, tuna melt sandwiches for all / whatever you wanna order. That word "Christian" can mean so many things, and that day-and-night difference in the definition of sin shows you just how deeply invested in darkness the main bible-belt church is, they are the romans to today's Christians...but I don't even adhere to the Nicene Creed, that is the unenlightened oppressive man's work in my view, the Nicene Creed which struck out reincarnation from mention in the bible (and reincarnation plays a huge part of indigenous spiritual traditions worldwide), these fake christian roman-catholic-style oppressors erasing truths so they can better control people, replacing it with mentions of the devil and satan which are just men like themselves, who refuse enlightenment like a vampire refuses the sun because they seek to suck the energy of the living people instead...but me I like vampires because they dress well. Big difference
Tumblr media
#like are you into vampires because they're cool or ...because you're really into drinking human blood? because yeah those ppl exist too#it's gross#this is the question you need to ask all supposed 'christians' to find out who they really are#Toxic Christians will choose to hide their love of vampires b/c they think it will out them as loving that human blood beverage they adore#Genuine Christians will admit that they like vampires because it's just due to the stylish clothes and swagg#there's nothing problematic about liking vampires#Moral of the story is... never trust a Christian who won't admit to liking Vampires#everyone likes vampires this much we know#but it's thin ice since this is also literally why the Nazis wore leather jackets#the fascist vampires always try to get the style points' sympathy#sad thing is that does work on the weak minded#sad truth is many out there are weak minded but in positions of power#no coincidence the catholic church was founded by peter who denied ever knowing christ#peter did not trust god he trusted himself#peter betrayed us more than Judas did#Jesus lives forever in all scenarios#Denying *having known him* is worse than what Judas did#imho#still roasting the Denials of Peter the same unenlightened guy who founded the Roman Catholic Church#everything Peter did after his denials of Christ was illegitimate#the only true religion is between you and God...no one else can mediate that#spiritual anarchist manifestos#and I'm an ordained deacon heheh for what that's worth but obvs I love to rant / preach

I feel like this fandom never really talks about the fact that Peter Pettigrew murdered at least twelve people. Probably more (either directly or indirectly) while he was working for Voldemort. Like, everyone fixates on the fact that he turned traitor, that he was a spy and he got James and Lily killed and framed Sirius for it, and all of those things are absolutely terrible, but like... he murdered twelve people in cold blood. What Sirius went to Azkaban for was that murder, not for supposedly betraying his friends. Most of the wider wizarding world wasn't aware that the Potters had a secret keeper or that they'd been betrayed, they just thought that Voldemort had tracked them down, as he had so many others, and that was that. What Sirius was famous for was supposedly murdering thirteen people (twelve muggles + Peter) with a single curse. The mass murder was the big deal here as far as the rest of the world was concerned, and even without all of the betrayal, murdering twelve people on its own is still an absolutely horrific thing for Peter to have done, and nobody really seems to talk about it. He literally has so much blood on his hands.

Remus Lupin was interesting.
He was not like his other friends; he was quiet, more reserved than them. The Marauders were the heartthrobs of Hogwarts, and Remus Lupin had his own group of “fans” that found his certain allure appealing.
You hated him.
The times when you would had the unfortunate requirement to talk to him, he was infuriating. He would send that damned smirk of his your way even when you were obviously about to blow a fuse. He would use those annoyingly smooth pickup lines on you when you were literally insulting him. He compliments you and uses pet names on you that makes other people do a double take on you from how he treated you like you two were dating.
He may have been the quieter one among his friends (besides Peter of course), but he could act as embarrassingly as Potter and Black do.
You were going to kill him someday. If he doesn’t kill you first with his smooth words and soft gaze.
As much as you hate him, your body betrays you. All the time.
Your cheeks flush when he compliments you. Your knees go weak when he calls you dove. Your brain lags when he uses one of his pickup lines that you never seem to predict.
The reactions were out of your control. I mean, if anyone else treated you the way Lupin treated you, you’d probably act the same.
Right?
Wrong, because you hate everyone besides your friends in Slytherin, no matter how kind they act towards you. Lupin just happened to take a page out of your house’s mascot and slither through your walls to become an exception.
Wrong, because you never would have punched someone purely out of instinct after a particularly horrible insult.
You were disappointed in yourself. You were doing well in restraining your anger during the past few years in Hogwarts, so why did you have to snap now out of all times?
No matter how annoyed you were at yourself, it couldn’t overpower the satisfaction you got from finally shutting Avery up.
So, how did it happen?
Let’s rewind.
—————
You were taking a stroll in the grass with Barty, who was always willing to accompany you on your spontaneous walks. The two of you were just talking about people you particularly hated in Hogwarts until you came across the two that placed particularly high on both your lists: Avery and Snape.
Being in the same house as the two vermin didn’t make you or Barty dislike them any less, especially you. You were one of the precious few halfbloods in Slytherin, and they never failed to insult you about it.
You didn’t care about blood statuses, though. But that didn’t matter do them.
They targeted you constantly, picking on you, tripping you in the hallway, spilling drinks on your back, and other petty things.
You always bit back with your words. You knew that if you tried to deal with it physically, you might be expelled from the school for violence.
Thank goodness Pandora, Barty, and Regulus ere always there to restrain you. Especially Barty. He was your closest friend, and although he wanted to beat them up himself, he didn’t want you getting in trouble.
Today seemed to be an exception.
“Oh, speaking of,” you cut Barty off, your gaze souring as you caught sight of the two you were just ranting about.
Barty followed your gaze, his lip curling in disgust. They were crowded over someone, but the tree beside them obscured your view of the victim. They seemed to be enjoying themselves, laughing wickedly and pushing the person.
“Are we going?” Barty knew you well. He knew you were going to do something about it. He just hoped that you were going to use your words instead of your fists, because he hasn't finished his strategy on how to hide bodies in school just yet.
“Unfortunately,” you sighed, picking up your pace, Barty a few feet behind you to give you space. You may hate everyone in school, but not enough to leave them in the clutches of people like Snape and Avery.
“What kind of fucked up entertainment did you two idiots decide to do today?” You called, making the two turn your way.
“Ah, just the person we were talking about,” Avery sneered. “What do you want now? You here to check up on your boyfriend?”
You furrowed your brows in confusion. You stepped to the side a little and groaned internally when you saw who Snape and Avery’s target was today: Remus Lupin.
His face was contorted in anger, his clenched fists peeking out from his slightly oversized sweater. Whatever Snape and Avery were teasing him about must have really struck a nerve in him.
“Leave them out of this,” he warned.
“What’re you going to do about it, huh?” Snape taunted him, approaching you. “C’mon loverboy. Not so strong now that your bodyguards aren’t here, ain’t that right?”
“Why don’t you boys take a break from being dickheads, yeah?” You said, testing out the chance of a diplomatic ending. “Go find some other place to dump your bullshit on, preferably the greenhouses. They could use the fertilizer.”
Avery made a beeline towards you, partially shoving Snape out of his way to grab your collar and pull you toward him. He was practically steaming.
Diplomacy was out the window, I suppose.
Barty a step towards you, as did Remus, but Snape stopped the lanky boy and you put your hand up to make Barty pause. You could handle yourself.
“You wanna say that again, bitch?” Avery seethed.
You had to restrain yourself from puking in his face after you felt drops of his saliva hit your cheeks, but you stood your ground. “I said you’re full of shit. Did some of it get in your ears or something?”
Avery looked like he wanted to hit you, but instead he leaned in your ear. You cringed at the lack of distance, but it quickly morphed into something else as he whispered, “You wouldn’t be barking as much if you let your ugly ass boytoy do the talking for you. He’s the one better with words, eh? Bet he uses them so you would want to fuck him. Tell me, is his dick as deformed as his face is?”
Avery never got his response as you reeled your fist back and let it fly, making direct contact with his nose with a satisfying crack.
—————
“I don’t believe it,” Madame Pomfrey tsked in disappointment, dabbing a paste on the bruise around your eye. You had to suppress a wince, since the rest of your body was too sore. “You should know better than to start a brawl in the courtyard.”
“They had it coming,” you muttered, making the nurse dab with a little more force than necessary. “Ouch.”
"You could have sustained worse injuries than this, stupid child!" She scolded, like a mother reprimanding a disobedient child. And like a disappointed child, you stayed silent and hung your head in slight guilt.
Only slight guilt because you still firmly believed that the two idiots had it coming to them.
You heard a moan of pain, and you could have sworn that you saw Madame Pomfrey roll her eyes. "You don't have that much severe injuries, so I'll check up on you in a while after I treat Mr. Snape and Mr. Avery."
You nodded. Before leaving, the nurse turned to Remus Lupin, who was icing a bruise on his cheek on the cot beside yours. "Watch over them, and after a few minutes, apply ice to their bruises," she instructed, and the Gryffindor nodded.
"Treasure, how're you doing?" Barty called from his cot across from you. He had sprained his ankle from kicking Snape hard in the nuts, and although he winced in pain occasionally when he moved, his grin told you that he didn't regret what he did.
"I'm okay B," you replied, grimacing slightly as one of the pulled muscles on your back acted up.
Remus noticed your flinch, and approached you worriedly. He was better off than you and Barty, the bruise on his face the only thing that he obtained from the fight. "Are you sure?" He asked, concerned. You didn't like how soft his eyes were as he gazed at you, or how your chest squeezed slightly at his worry.
"I'm fine, Lupin," you quipped, although your voice lacked its usual venom.
Remus hummed, unconvinced. He turned to the bedside and grabbed the ice that Madame Pomfrey left for you and held it out for you to grab.
You scoffed. "I said I'm fine. No need to baby me."
Remus rolled his eyes slightly. "And I don't believe you. Besides, the nurse said to ice your bruise after a few minutes. A few minutes has already passed, and frankly, she can do more damage to me than you can in this state."
You grumbled, turning your head. Your pride made you stubborn, as it did to many, but thank goodness Remus Lupin has had training in dealing with prideful companions.
He closed in on you, holding your face by the chin and tilting it towards him. You tried to fight back, but his grip was firm, so you simply sighed and resigned your fate. You could only hope that the observant boy didn't notice the warmth on your cheeks.
He gently placed the ice on your eye.
"Sorry," He murmured when you hissed at the sudden cold.
You purposefully averted your gaze from him, eyes fixated on the wheels of another cot.
That didn't stop you from spotting Remus's fixated stare on you from your periphery.
"Stop looking at me like that, Lupin," You spat, still refusing to make direct eye contact with him. "What do you want?"
"Why did you punch Avery?" He asked, finally making your eyes snap up to him. "He said something that provoked you. What did he say?"
You scoffed. "The usual bullshit that comes out of his mouth."
"I heard that."
"Fuck off," you called to the curtained cot where Avery currently resided. Madame Pomfrey hushed you disapprovingly form behind the curtains.
"I don't think that's true," Remus said, eyes narrowed as he studied you like a problem he couldn't solve, an enigma he wanted to understand.
You looked at him in silence for a moment, before heaving a sigh and looking away again. "He insulted you," you mumbled, words faint and hard to decipher, but Remus got the general meaning.
Well, judging from his grin, he got the general meaning.
"What did you say?" He asked. You looked at him, offended. Remus Lupin was teasing you.
"Clean your ears next time, Lupin," you shot a glare at him, but it didn't have as much heat behind it as you would have wanted.
"Nope, don't try to escape from this," he chuckled, using his hand on your chin to make your visible eye make contact with his brown ones again. "What did you say, dove?"
You groaned. You absolutely loved hated the effect this boy had on you.
"He insulted you, Lupin," You snapped, cheeks blazing at this point. "Happy?"
Remus's playful expression melted into one of disbelief. "You punched him because... he insulted me?"
"Salazar, you really are deaf," you rolled your eyes. "That's what I said, isn't it?"
Remus seemed to still not be able to wrap his head around the idea. You, the person he's been pining over the past few months, defended him. And got hurt because of it.
"I'm sorry," he said, his voice sincere.
Your brows furrowed in confusion. "What are you apologizing for? I started that fight with my own free will, and they deserved every cut and bruise they received."
"Amen," Barty replied. He was obviously eavesdropping on your conversation, and you couldn't say that you were surprised.
"But still." His lips tilted downwards along with his gaze. Salazar give me strength, he's pouting. "You were dragged into it when they were picking on me. I could have —"
"Yes, there are many things that you could have done, but you can't reverse time to do them now, Lupin," You said severely. "I don't need you apologizing for things I don't regret doing."
Remus looked up at you hopefully. "You don't regret defending me?"
You blinked, realizing the implications your words gave off. You played it off with a huff. "Whatever."
"You didn't deny it," Remus teased, a small smile on his face. He still felt guilty that you were hurt because you were defending him, but you didn't regret it. That had to count for something.
"Whatever, Lupin."
"Call me Remus."
"No."
"Please."
"Absolutely not."
"Dove?"
"... Fine, Remus."
"Heh, I knew you liked me."
"What — I never said I did!"
"But you never said you didn't."
"I —"
A retching noise was heard. "Ugh, your lovey-doveyness is making me sick."
"Shut up, Barty!"

Haha, I'm glad someone else sees the potential of Sirius having a spark of doubt about Remus due to their different views on killing.
Because of his stated views I feel I'm inclined to believe killing wasn't Sirius' intent even though I think it is understandable to see him seeking vengeance of his found-family's death and his friend's betrayal. I see this stance as important to him since he voiced his approval of Moody trying to always bring them in alive when he was explaining the First Wizarding War to the trio.
This is my speculation, but the reason I think that this is important to him is that in spite of his family’s teachings, Sirius realized that blood-purity didn't show a person’s value, and he believed it was a person's actions that did. He says you get to know a person by how they 'treat' inferiors, and everything he did for Harry demonstrates how he is an active godfather. So I see his stance on killing as a last resort as a way to differentiate himself from Death Eaters, and it took Azkaban to wear down his stance.
Taking the situations of Harry with Sirius (before Harry knows the truth) and Bellatrix in comparison to Sirius and Peter, I see that Sirius, while surely struggling with what happened, was not being consumed solely by it because he was trying to argue he should have custody of Harry. And I think that his interaction with Hagrid indicates Sirius was or became level-headed enough to not throw out his beliefs. Whereas Harry in those moments was consumed by his anger. Harry wasn't thinking, but I feel that Sirius was and after he was denied custody, I don't think he would be calculating to kill Peter. Maybe it was an invasive thought, but I see him pushing it away.
However, that said, I like the idea that you said that if he pursued Peter to kill him that "when actually confronted with really doing it, really actually taking someone's life himself, Sirius falters." That it would be just like Harry in the Shrieking Shack. I love comparing Sirius and Harry.
Part of my Sirius headcanon is that he never killed anyone during wartime, but James and Remus did. Remus accepts quietly that it's simply a part of war, James agonizes over it and is forever changed, but Sirius is never faced with the necessity to kill someone.
While I do think Sirius would torture someone/kill for someone he loves, I reeeeeeally like the idea that he ends up in Azkaban with his soul completely intact. Just the irony that he's one of the few people in the Order who's never killed anyone but ends up incarcerated for murder... too tasty.

Tumblr media
The day before...
"Please, Y/N! You need to help me out here."
The noise in the castle had become significantly louder after the guests had arrived two hours ago. Dean Winchester only had a few men with him, but that didn't make them any less loud. The wedding preparations were largely complete and soon they would have to go downstairs for the evening's feast.
But Helena didn't want to go down. She didn't even want to go through with the marriage the next morning. The younger woman was holding Y/N's hands like a plea with tears in her eyes and had just revealed her great plan of escaping the gruesome future their father had sold her to. Which were Helenas words, not hers.
Apparently she and the young man she was activly seeing in the last months wanted to elope and get married on their own. Y/N had known that these two were very fond of eachother, but she had never thought that it was that serious. Especially not when you have a man like Dean Winchester on your side that shows interest in you.
"Listen, Y/N... " spoke Helena again and brought her back out of her thoughts. "... there is now way this can go wrong. Noone's going to know until the next morning."
"Helena..."
"He won't see you until late in the night. If he's even able to get up the stairs to your bedroom after the wedding celebration." she tried to reason.
"But eventually he will find out that I'm the wrong bride!"
"But then you're already married!"
Y/N huffed and freed her hands out of her sisters grip. This was ridiculous.
"And you think that will make him soften and forget the fact that he got betrayed?"
Now Helena was a little lost for words. "Well... it's not... really betrayal..."
"Yes, it is, Lena! It is betrayal. And what do you think he will do with the arrangment he made with our father? Have you thought about that?"
Silence filled the room, but Y/N could see that Helena was a little fuming inside. Of course her sister did not think about the consequences of her actions and just wanted to do what she wanted. And as the older one Y/N should just say no. But this was Dean they were talking about. Her heart was a little biased here.
"I'm sorry. Y/N. But I'm not going to marry him. I love Peter and he will come and pick me up tonight."
"What?"
"I will be gone in the morning. And if you really care about me, you will let me go and help me out."
Over this revelation Y/N was just stunned and watched Helena turned around and leave the room.
Tumblr media
Now...
They all had to be in the chapel in an hour and Helena had made her promise true. Last evening at the feast she was sitting next to Dean, talking to him and being her usual self. And to everyone else very visible, Dean was only even more fond of her as he already had been. It had broken Y/N's heart to watch the scene. Before they went to bed Y/N again had tried to reason with her, but as she knew her younger sister she remained stubborn.
"Where is your sister, Y/N?" her father came over and asked. "She needs to dress and her maid is nowhere to be found."
A little panic rose in her chest. As soon as she was awake, Y/N had looked for Helena, but she was really gone. If she was honest, she could not entirely blame her for going after her heart. She knew how it felt to be in love. It just had been the worst moment to do so. And now, she was running out of time.
"Just... sent Millicent to her. She can help her getting dressed."
Millicent was her own maid and once she was in Helenas room she would understand. Y/N made a decision then and there. After her father left again she ran as fast as she could over to her sisters room and hid in there, waiting for Millie. The dress and veil was already laying on the bed and her heart squeezed a little upon that sight. A knock on the door made her hide behind the screen before she asked who was outside. Whe she heared the voice of her maid she released a relieved sigh.
"Come in and close the door behind you." Y/N said and waited before she came back out from behind the screen.
"Mylady? What..."
"Let noone else enter the room until I'm fully dressed in the gown."
Whilst Millicent's eyes widened in surprise, Y/N already tried to get out of her own dress. After a few seconds of struggleling her maid rushed forward to help her.
"But why are you putting on the dress that belongs to your sister?"
With a small huff Y/N turned to her maid. In the safe space of an empty room with only them two alone in it, they could drop the formal speech and behave freely like the friends they had become over the years.
"She's gone. My sister's gone, Millie."
"What?" came Millie's shocked response. "When?"
Y/N finally stepped into the wedding dress and pulled it up her body over her shoulders. It was a beautiful dress. Red and gold. Expensive. Heavy. And she fitted barely into it. Not only was she a little shorter than her sister, Helena had always been the skinnier one of the two.
"Last night. She didn't want to marry Dean and ran away."
"With this Peter guy?"
"Yeah..."
Millie began to close the dress up on the back and Y/N started to think again. This would only be a temporary fix for the current situation. The calm before the storm.
"So... what is the plan?" the maid asked into the silence.
"Get through the day. Marry Dean... and hope he doesn't completely freak out tomorrow."
Millicent came back around, flatening the fabric on her shoulders before reaching for the veil. The two women looked at eachother for a moment and Y/N knew that her friend understood her internal struggle. She was the only one Y/N had told that she was in love with Dean and it dawned on both that this was going to be a big deal.
A sudden knock on the door startled them and Millie hurried to get the veil over Y/N's head just in time, before the door opened. Her father was stepping in to see if the bride to be was finally ready.
"Oh Helena... you look so beautiful." he smiled and looked so proud. Y/N' stomache started to turn.
"Thanks." she whispered and tried to mimic her sisters lighter voice.
"Well. it's time to go. Your husband is waiting!" he exclaimed excited and left the room again, totaly oblivious to the tension that had build up with every passing second.
Once the women were alone again, Y/N closed her eyes under the veil and took some deep breaths. But when she felt the veil lift a little she opned them back up again and saw Millicent look at her worried.
"Are you ready?" the woman asked quietly.
"No."
Tumblr media
Dean's hands were warm. His smile was gentle and he looked really happy. And just for a second Y/N thought it was because of her. Looking up into his smiling face made her heart burst with love for this man who had no idea that he was getting betrayed right at this moment. And just like that the guilt sat in, making her feel bad for doing this in an instant.
"I do." she heard him say with his rich, dark voice before he turned his head back again to the woman by his side.
Now it was her turn to say it. The pastor was already finished with his speech and everyone was waiting for her to answer. She looked back into the room full of people she loved and cared about. Her father already beckoning her to say something with his eyes. She turned her head back to Dean and tears started to sting her eyes.
If he only would've looked at her more than once. If he only would've tried to get to know her too. Maybe he would've fallen in love with her as well. She was not like Helena. Not so pretty and skinny and beautiful. She knew that. But Y/N had always tried to engage in the conversations with him. To make him notice her, see her too. However, it never really worked the way she wished for. But at least for this moment, no matter how short it would be, she wanted to try and make him happy. She wanted to be the woman by his side.
"I do."
Tumblr media
Dean felt good. Really good. He was married to a woman that he was truly fond of. She was younger, sure, but that did not seem to bother her too. And now, they could officially be together. To that he had to smile. He reached for his cup and drank a big sip of the whiskey, whilst he looked around the room.
The celebration of his wedding were only midway through, but Helena had already excused herself. She seemed to be a little nervous and obviously wanted to get a little alone time with the other women. He could not blame her. This night would be special, for both of them. Eventhough he already knew what was coming.
"You got a pretty big smile on there, brother."
At that Dean had to chuckle. His younger brother Sam sat down in the empty chair nex to his and sported a smug smile on his face.
"I'm married, Sammy. I've been waiting for this a little while."
"Yeah, but at home were women too that would've married you on the spot."
Dean did not need to ask who he meant. They both knew Sam was talking about Cassie.
"But I always wanted Helena. And now she's my wife."
They both cheered with eachother. Everyone was in a good mood.
"Are you happy?" Sam asked after a couple of moments and Dean turned back to his brother.
"Yes. Yes, I am."
Within the next hour the music got a little louder and people drank more and more. It was an exuberant evening. And even though Dean tried not to drink too much alcohol himself, he couldn't hold back because of the good mood. Sam stayed by his side the entire time and a few other of his men joined them to drink and celebrate. It was fun, but he still noticed something.
"Have you seen Y/N?"
Upon that question Sam let his gaze roam over the other participants, but he too could not see her.
"No. Why?"
"I don't know. It's just... I have not seen her all day."
"Okay... so what?" Sam asked. "She's probably busy with other things. She'll have to say goodbye to her sister tomorrow and she's surely with Helena right now." To that Dean nodded his head. "Just like her maid."
"Her maid?" now it was Dean's turn to look at his brother a little surprised. "You mean Millicent?"
"Urm... yeah... if... if that's her name." Sam answered and cleared his throat.
"Ooohh, Sammy! Do you like her?" Dean grined.
"No! Just... shut up." he protested, but the slight red tinge on his cheeks told otherwise.
Dean laughed and kept quiet. But only for a moment.
"Technically she would be older than you."
"Dean, I swear!"
"Okay, okay!"
The older Winchester held his hands up in defeat, but he could not stop the smile on his face. His brother was never a good liar.

Y/N had left the celebration shortly after the food was served. Her nerves had gotten the best of her. She was sweating under the veil and with Dean so close to her she had a really hard time not to give away that it was her and not Helena. But her husband had fun and she did not wanted to ruin it for him.
When she arrived at the new bedroom, Millicent was already there and had prepared a bath for her. The roaring fire in the fireplace had heated up the room nicely. Winter was starting to come around and the nights got colder and colder.
After getting out of the heavy wedding dress and sliding into the hot bath she felt like she could breath again. Millicent stayed with her until she was ready to fall face first into the bed and just sleep the day away. Which seemed to work, but not for long.
It was already late at night and the fire was out long ago, when Y/N heared the door opening to the now shared room. Heavy footsteps followed and she started to hold her breath. To her luck she was laying with her face to the door, away from the window. If she was honest to herself, she had hoped she would be left alone tonight. That Dean maybe would drink so much that he fell asleep in the dining hall. But it seems she was out of luck here.
He stumbled through the room, hitting his foot once or twice on the side of the bed. It was pretty cloudy so there was not much moonlight to illuminate the room. He kicked off his boots and it sounded like he sat down in the armchair near the window.
"Urgh... 'shouldn't have the last drink..." Dean slurred which was followed by a smacking sound.
The next thing she heard was fabric falling to the ground. That was it, right? Now it would happen. Her heart started to beat faster and when she felt the bed dip next to her, she tried to stay as still as possible. After a few seconds the room fell silent again. Only when she started to hear light snoring from behind her, she allowed herself to relax again and drift back to sleep.
The next thing that startled her awake was the warm feeling on her back. It had gotten cold in the room, it was still dark outside and she tried to lean in more into the warm feeling. The heavy arm that was laying over her middle hiked up a little higher, pressing her more to the warm chest.
Upon that realization Y/N opened abruptly her eyes, her heart starting to pick up speed again. But she was not the only one who was awake now. Dean started to kiss softly along her neckline and down to her shoulder. His lips touched her light as a feather and still it set her skin on fire. Then his scent hit her nose. He smelled like wood, whiskey and something warm.
What was she supposed to do now? Noone had really talked to her about every detail with this. What was expected from her and what she had to do. Dean's hands began slowly to explore her body. Careful and gentle. But as soon as his warm hand touched her bare leg she could not hold back a soft moan. His hands felt rough and a little calloused but still his touches were soft.
Dean layed one of his legs over hears so that she had to turn on her back. A little nervous again she did not look into his face. Yes, it was dark, but somehow she feared he would recognize her anyways. With soft fingertips on her cheek Dean turned her face towards him and touched her nose with his, before his lips landed on hers. This feeling was new and almost overwhelming.
On reflex she pressed her hands on his chest only to feel that he was not wearing any clothes. A thrill went through her veins and she let her hands wander over his firm, strong chest. Dean groaned softly and deepened the kiss. Surprised by his actions she opened her lips a little and the man waisted no time to let his tounge slip into her mouth. The only thing she could do was mimic his actions and it felt so good. She did not know if she was doing it right and if, Dean did not let it show.
Now Dean got more adventurous. He rolled on top of her, cageing her in with his arms and nestled between her legs. Y/N could feel something hard against her thigh and there was only one explanation what it could be. It made her feel funny between her legs and somehow it scared her a little. She broke from the kiss, taking deep breaths in and Dean seemed to sense the small change in her.
"Don't worry, sweetheart. I'll be gentle. I promise."
Y/N did not really know what he meant by that and before she could really think about it, one of his hands made their way down between her legs. Oh god, he was about to feel that something was going on there. She tried to close er legs but it was nearly impossible with him laying in between and holding her legs apart with his own.
Another moan left her lips when his fingers touched her sex, massaging her heated core and rubbing soft circles over a certain point that made her feel even better. She began to buckle her hips a little and Dean hummed satisfied before he kissed her again.
His hand picked up speed and she started to feel something build up deep withhin her. She felt one of his fingers enter her but it did not hurt. It only intensified this feeling that had her thriving underneath him now.
"That's it. Yeah, let me feel you."
Dean whispered in her ear and then she couldn't hold it anymore. The sensation was just to much to handle, her moans had become louder and louder and it felt like a hot liquid poured through her body and made her shake, before she collapsed. Her chest was heaving and for a moment she did not understand what had happend just now.
Dean kissed down her jaw to her collarbone and sucked the skin into his mouth. Slowly she came down from this high, but her husband did not stop just there. His lips sucking in her skin distraced her enough before she felt the pressure against her entrance. This was it. This was consummating the marriage.
"Take a deep breath for me." and she did as Dean told her.
With one calculated thrust of his hips he was deep insight her. There was a small sting of pain that did not fade away so fast, but the pressure inside her was the one thing that she really had to get used to. Dean held still, his hands were stroking softly through her hair and when he felt her relax again, he started to move.
Slow at first, so that she had time to adjust to him but that did not take long. He picked up his pace and with every move it started to feel good again. The pain turned into something more and then the coil and pressure in her middle was there again. Now Dean moaned louder as well and she held onto his shoulders.
Just when Y/N thought she could not handle it anymore, she felt Dean's movements get a little out of rhythm and his breathing got heavier. And with his last poweful thrust he took her with him over the edge again while he spilled his hot seed deep insight her with a groan. His forehead landed on her shoulder and Y/N stroked a hand through his hair. Dean kissed her again slow and sloppy, before he rolled down from her and layed on his back.
The slight disappointment that settle in on her upon losing the skin to skin contact with the man she loved, did not surprise her. This was not how she had imagined it, it was better. It was to much and not enough at the same time. So she tried to relish in this bliss that she felt and turned on her sight to face him.
Exhaustion was pulling on her and it got harder and harder to stay awake. Eventually she gave in and closed her eyes with the feeling of an heavy arm on her hip that pulled her close again.
When she woke up the next morning she felt good. Tired and a little sore, but good. The sun was already high up and provided a little warmth. She opened her eyes and saw Dean's face first. He was still laying on his side and supported his head on his hand, looking down at her.
She smiled and was ready to greet him, when the memories flooded back into her conciousness. Her eyes widened in shock as she heard him talk.
"And who do we have here?"

pairing: remus lupin x reader
summary: Remus loves christmas for many reasons, but his favourite reason might be you.
chapter warnings: mention of food, other than that not any to my knowledge!!
A/N: merry christmas!! i guess i have to listen to the people of tumblr and write another one... yay
Tumblr media
At the young age of 6 years old, Remus John Lupin knew one thing; he loved Christmas. While every day was a constant reminder of his... condition, Christmas was his chance to be normal. His mother would bake sugar cookies and brownies with him, while his father would use magic to string old christmas lights across their small house. His favourite part, however, was not the gifts, or the decorations. It was chocolate. Remus loved chocolate in any form it came in, and in winter, there was no shortage of it. Hot chocolate, peppermint bark, festive chocolate frogs his father would buy for him, Remus adored christmas for this reason.
When Remus went to Hogwarts, his love for christmas only increased. Surrounded by friends who entertained him with games of wizard's chess and card games, he had more to look forward to when the first snowfall of the year happened. Remus loved the way you loved christmas as well. Your sweet disposition only shone brighter during the holiday season. Whether you helped a first year put his ornament higher on the gryffindor common room's christmas tree, or shared your homemade treats with kids whose parents were far to busy to make any, you were just the most perfect person on earth, like an angel that descended from heaven.
On his fourth Christmas holiday spent at Hogwarts, Remus couldn’t help but watch you from the corner of the common room, pretending to be engrossed in the book resting on his lap. You were laughing as you helped a third-year untangle a string of enchanted fairy lights that kept trying to loop themselves into knots. The sound of your laugh—light and genuine—made his chest tighten in a way he couldn’t quite explain.
“Oi, Moony!” Sirius’s voice jolted him out of his reverie. “Are you going to make that move, or are you just planning to stare at her until next Christmas?” Sirius smirked, leaning back in his chair, a knowing look plastered on his face.
James snickered beside him, flicking a wizard’s chess piece that had been knocked over in the chaos of their ongoing game. “Don’t be too hard on him, Padfoot. Christmas is the time for love and all that nonsense, isn’t it?”
Remus flushed, ducking his head to hide the redness creeping up his cheeks. “I wasn’t staring,” he muttered, though the heat in his face betrayed him.
“Oh, sure,” Peter chimed in, grinning as he picked up one of the chocolate frogs from a plate nearby. “Because it’s totally normal to sit with a chessboard in front of you for twenty minutes without moving a single piece.”
Before Remus could come up with a defense, you approached the group, holding a tray of what looked like freshly baked gingerbread cookies. “Anyone want some? I tried a new recipe, and I think they turned out pretty well,” you said, smiling as you offered the plate.
Remus’s heart skipped a beat as you leaned closer to him, holding out the tray. “Here, Remus. I know you like chocolate, so I added a little drizzle on these ones.”
He stared at the cookies for a moment, then at you, his brain struggling to form coherent words. “Thank you,” he managed, his voice quieter than he intended. He took one, the warmth of your smile making his insides feel like melted chocolate.
Sirius raised an eyebrow at him, smirking. “Smooth, Moony. Really smooth.”
You laughed softly at their antics, brushing a strand of hair behind your ear. “Well, enjoy, everyone. Let me know what you think.” And with that, you turned to help another group of students decorating by the fireplace.
Remus watched you walk away, the cookie forgotten in his hand. James leaned over and whispered, “Mate, you’re going to have to say something eventually. Preferably before we graduate.”
But Remus didn’t need their teasing to know what was on his mind. You had a way of making every part of Christmas brighter, and he couldn’t help but think that you were the best gift he’d ever have the privilege of knowing.
By the next Christmas, the common room was alive with festive cheer once more, and this time, you and Remus sat together by the fire like old friends—though to Remus, you were so much more than that.
It had been a year since that quiet, awkward conversation, and in that time, you and Remus had grown closer in a way that felt effortless. He no longer hesitated to sit beside you in the common room or join you for study sessions in the library. You’d developed a quiet, easy camaraderie that made him feel like he belonged in a way he hadn’t since arriving at Hogwarts.
This Christmas, though, felt different.
“Are you winning, Moony?” you teased, leaning over to glance at his game of wizard’s chess with Sirius.
“Not even close,” he admitted with a wry smile. His knight was just smashed to bits by Sirius’s queen, and his remaining pieces seemed to be shaking with dread.
“Poor knight,” you said with mock sympathy. “He never stood a chance.”
Sirius grinned. “I’m ruthless. Everyone knows that.”
Remus rolled his eyes but chuckled, turning to you. “I think my pieces have officially given up. Care to save me by distracting Sirius?”
You laughed, shaking your head. “Oh no, I’m terrible at chess. But I can offer you some chocolate for moral support.”
Reaching into the small tin you’d brought with you, you held out a neatly wrapped piece. Remus accepted it with a quiet “thanks,” and as he unwrapped it, he couldn’t help but marvel at how thoughtful you always were.
“Do you ever stop being nice?” he asked softly, almost to himself.
You tilted your head, smiling. “Why would I stop? It’s Christmas.”
“Still,” he muttered, looking down at the chocolate in his hand. “You make everything... better. Not just Christmas. Just—everything.”
Your cheeks warmed, and you reached for a piece of chocolate yourself to hide your flustered smile. “That’s what friends are for, right?”
The word friends made his heart ache in the best and worst way. He wanted to be more than that, but the thought of ruining what you already had was enough to keep him silent.
“You’ve been so good to me this year, Remus,” you said after a moment, surprising him. “Honestly, I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
His head snapped up, his eyes wide. “Me? You’re the one who’s—” He stopped himself, shaking his head. “Never mind.”
You leaned closer, curiosity sparkling in your eyes. “No, go on. What were you going to say?”
He hesitated, then sighed, giving you a small smile. “You’re the one who’s made this year so great. I mean, you’re... you’re incredible, really. You make everyone feel special. It’s hard not to feel lucky just being around you.”
Your heart fluttered, and you looked down at your lap, feeling suddenly shy. “Well, if I make everyone feel special, it’s only because I learned from you.”
Remus blinked, caught completely off guard. “From me?”
You nodded, meeting his gaze with a soft smile. “Of course. You’re one of the kindest people I know, Remus. And you always know how to make people feel cared for, even when you don’t realize it.”
For a moment, neither of you spoke. The room seemed to grow quieter, the glow of the fire casting a soft light over your faces.
“Thank you,” he said finally, his voice barely above a whisper.
“Merry Christmas, Remus,” you said, your smile brighter than any decoration in the room.
“Merry Christmas,” he replied, his heart so full it felt like it might burst.
He still didn’t know if he’d ever work up the courage to tell you how he really felt, but for now, being your friend—your favourite friend, he hoped—was more than enough.

Mentor Starscream x seeker!reader (2/?)
Continuing to mash up all the timelines. In my mind, this version of Starscream and Megatron are like in the immediate aftermath of TF One, where Starscream is clearly the older and more experienced one but everyone witnesses Megatron's transformation into a very warped and corrupted version of himself as he comes to terms with his newfound power, then asserting his dominance through violence. At the same time, we've somehow timeskipped to fighting the autobots on earth. These are just a bunch of very messy and self-indulgent thoughts, but I am recently exploding with this idea about Starscream and need to get all of them out bit by bit sksksk. Thank you all for reading and for the encouragement!!
@dratchetsimp this is for you!!
It's painful to watch the pressure mount on Starscream by the day as Megatron's anger grows. Once upon a time, you might have agreed with him - you, like many others, felt betrayed by Sentinel and wanted to see Cybertron rebuilt. But over time, Megatron loses himself to the insanity of plotting and revenge. You'd heard that he'd gone by D-16, once. You wonder what that bot was like, before shaking your helm to remind yourself that no matter who he was, D-16 was gone and there was no use lingering over such thoughts.
Starscream barely recharges - you used recharge stiff and upright in the barracks amongst the other low-ranking decepticons - but Starscream had somehow pulled a few strings to allow you to share his habsuite. He doesn't divulge the details, deliberately evasive - but you've managed to piece together the gist of it.
"It's admirable how loyal your pet is, Starscream," Megatron sneered. "Impressive given that I cannot expect the same from you."
Starscream had taken all of it - the insults, the humiliation, with clenched servos and wings trembling with rage. But in the end, it had been worth it, because Megatron finally dismissed him with a lazy wave of his servos with permission to do whatever he wished with you.
As bots in the barracks milled around, preparing for recharge, you hadn't realised that the chatter around you had petered off into unsettled silence until Starscream barked your designation, curt and commanding.
"With me," he commanded, and abruptly stalked out of the barracks before even waiting to see if you would follow (of course you would).
The whispers of the others fell on deaf audials as you hurried out of the barracks to chase after Starscream - you fall into step behind him as he leads you to some part of the base that you've never seen before. You pass door after door, and it soon dawns on you that these are the officers' habsuites.
"Sir...?"
Starscream doesn't deign to answer you, instead coming to an abrupt stop in front of one of the rooms. The suspicion as to where he was taking you had taken hold, but you had scarcely dared to believe it. Yet, the door to Starscream's habsuite whooshes open, leaving you with the inability to deny your suspicions any longer.
"You are to recharge here, now," Starscream says curtly. "Do not return to the barracks unless ordered. Is that clear?"
You can only nod, shocked by the turn of events. Your old sleeping arrangements hadn't been that dire. That is, if you didn't count the filth, the sounds of snoring, fighting, fragging - and bolting awake from your nightmares only to have some other bot yell at you to keep it down. Okay. Maybe it wasn't great. But did he really care that much?
As your processor works to digest your newfound situation, Starscream promptly flings himself down onto the berth. "Well?" he says, with an irritable growl. "Are your pedes rooted to the ground, or are you going to recharge?"
You're startled back into motion, tentatively approaching the berth before clumsily attempting to maneuver yourself into a position where you won't touch Starscream. It's awkward, to say the least, lying next to your commanding officer like this. To make matters worse, Starscream's habsuite runs cold - and you are becoming increasingly aware of your smaller frame's inability to conserve heat. Starscream must have picked up on the small tremors of your frame (he'd been lying awake the whole time to carefully gauge your responses), because all of a sudden, your commander's handsome faceplate is right in front of yours, and you squeal as you find yourself yanked closer to him, right up against his chassis.
"Pathetic," Starscream snarls, even as he's carefully tucking you against him. "How are you going to fend for yourself when you can't even fend against the cold?" Against your better judgement, you snuggle closer, gratefully taking in the much-needed warmth of his frame. Even if his words are harsh, the gentle way he cradles you against him betrays his true intentions.
"Recharge," he orders, and you, like the good soldier you are, promptly obey.
Which is why, after settling into a routine in his habsuite, you are very aware of just how little Starscream recharges. He's always at his desk, viciously muttering something or other over a towering stack of datapads. His frame is tense, as well - plates drawn tight around him defensively, wings constantly hitched up with the amount of stress he's under. You've tried to persuade him to recharge, but he simply snarls and waves you away. The most that he will accept is the energon you bring him. These days, it's a challenge to find any empty space on his desk to set the cubes down.
After Starscream successfully locates an energon mine, you are hopeful, perhaps naively so, that Megatron will finally give him a break. You finally understand the grim look on Starscream's faceplate right before he went to report to Megatron about his findings. The warlord is pleased, but not necessarily at the idea of your species' continued survival - rather, the discovery of abundant energon had swelled his confidence in plans to launch an offensive against the Autobots. You glance at your commanding officer, standing at attention on the bridge - his posture appears relaxed and confident, but you as a seeker know what tells to look for - his twitching wings say it all.
Starscream is exhausted, even if he stubbornly refuses to admit it. His systems are on high alert and constantly fire off at the tiniest things - he'd nearly taken your helm off with his null ray when you came to deliver him a cube of energon. His wide optics meet your terrified faceplate before he quickly disables his weapon, optics offlining as he sags back in his chair.
"Frag it," Starscream mutters, rubbing his faceplate with rough servos. "That slagging, good-for-nothing spawn of a glitch. We're in no shape to fight."
It's true - demoralization was at an all-time high. Bots were exhausted and running on fumes from the prolonged lack of energon, and would need time to recover. However, you're more worried about Starscream - inevitably, he's going to play a major role in the attack. While you don't doubt his strength, sheer willpower could only get any bot so far - and you've been worried about him keeling over on the spot for a while.
Leading up to the attack, you gaze at your commander as he stands on the precipice of a rocky cliff overlooking the Autobots' regular area of patrol. He looks so alone, and you cannot bear it as soon as you watch his servos curl into a fists, the only show of emotion he will allow himself. You know he's forcing himself to stay upright, if only to hide the defeated slump of his shoulders because as he said - the Decepticons are in no condition to fight, and you only need glance back at the rest of the straggling troops to see that he's correct.
He glances at you as you quietly step forwards to stand beside him. His faceplate is expressionless, but his servos relax as your optics meet for a few nanokliks. "With me," he says quietly, only for your audials. Then, he's looking forwards again, resolute, as the Autobots rev into view below you and Megatron roars the command to attack.
The battle was a disaster. Under Orion Pax's - no, Optimus Prime's - leadership, the Autobots had spent time refueling and familiarizing themselves with their new surroundings, giving them the upper hand in both physical combat and strategy. It wasn't long before Megatron was bellowing at you to retreat, and Knockout soon found himself with his hands full and a line of the injured spilling out of his medbay and winding down the corridors in a cacophony of pained groans.
You'd escaped relatively unscathed, with no injuries that required immediate attention, and were thankful to see that Starscream was the same. However, he only seemed to grow more tense as you both landed back at base. "Go to my habsuite," Starscream orders. He's so tense that his frame is close to vibrating. "Do not come out until I return."
Before you can ask him what's happening, he's stalking off in the direction of the bridge, and... oh.
You're once more struck by the sheer feeling of helplessness as you watch him go. You couldn't even get him to recharge properly, take better care of himself when he took such good care of you, considering the circumstances - and now, even though the battle had left you both relatively unscathed, it seemed that you'd counted your blessings too early. You knew you had no hope of protecting Starscream against what Megatron was about to do, and you hated it.
Back in Starscream's habsuite, you'd dragged the med kit out and waited anxiously, wearing circles into the floor with your pacing. You hoped it wouldn't be too bad. After all, the failure had not been Starscream's fault and he'd just located an energon mine. Surely...?
By now, you really should have learned not to get your hopes up. It's a few cycles before a loud bang shudders unexpectedly through the room, as if something - or somebot, had fallen against the door. You shoot up, frantically slapping at the door unlock button, and Starscream all but collapses into his habsuite in a bloodied heap.
"Oh, Primus," you breathe, horrified, and launch yourself forwards to drag him into the room.
Even just by touching him, your servos are sticky with energon, and you bite back a sob as you fumble with the latches of the med kit. You have no idea where to start and are the least qualified bot here to do this, but you know that if you tried to drag Starscream to the medbay in front of lines and lines of Decepticon soldiers, he would regain consciousness just to tear you apart himself.
His optics are offlined, and the only thing keeping you from breaking down is the subtle rise and fall of his chassis. You reign yourself in best as you can, and try to remember what you've been taught in the one stellar cycle you were at the Academy. Okay. Initial assessment: jagged rips in his plating, torn wires... it looked bad, but these were all injuries you could deal with as accidents during training had been inevitable - and you thank Primus that the integrity of his wings had been spared, with rips in the plating like the rest of his frame but no torn wires there.
You snatch a cloth and the welder out of the med kit with shaky servos, swiping haphazardly at the energon on Starscream's chassis. A screeching buzz fills the air as you get to work on the biggest tear that you can see. He can get Knockout to buff them out later, because as ugly as your handiwork might be, right now you're only concerned with getting the energon to stop because there's just so much.
You're almost done with the biggest rip when Starscream's systems suddenly hiss back to life, and his optics cycle before blearily landing on you. After a moment, they slide to the screeching welder in your shaky servo, taking in his battered frame, the pool of energon below you both before offlining his optics again and lying back with a groan. You continue with your work, and Starscream doesn't interrupt you, allowing you to turn his arms this way and that as you re-join wires and solder his plates to the best of your ability. At some point, he'd regained enough strength to quietly watch you work, voicing no complaint about the quality of your rough patch job nor flinching or making any sound of pain.
Eventually, the only thing left to patch is his wings. Your vocalizer resets with a click before you can speak. "Sir," you mumble. "Your, uh, your wings need repair as well."
To seekers, wings are sacred, treated as the most intimate parts of one's frame. To be honest, you weren't sure if Starscream would let you touch his wings, and you were really going out on a limb to ask. However, you couldn't sit idly by and not even attempt to fix the jagged rips that marred his beautiful wings. To your shock, Starscream soundlessly heaves himself upright and turns around to bare his wings to you. You must have taken a few nanokliks too long, because Starscream shifts impatiently. "Turbofox got your glossa?" he rasps, and even if his voice sounds weaker than usual, you could cry with relief to hear him again.
You kneel delicately behind him, servo hovering over his left wing before you finally dare to lightly brush your fingers over the smooth plating. Starscream's wings twitch ever so slightly and he ex-vents sharply, but otherwise makes no motion to get away. Wings are especially sensitive and while he betrayed no pain when you were welding the other parts of his frame, you almost felt bad for having to touch the welder to his wings, despite the necessity. The welder screeches again, and Starscream visibly shudders when it touches the edge of the first rip. His servos are close to digging dents into the floor by the time you get to the second one, and he's ex-venting raggedly. "Last one," you murmur, wanting desperately to offer some comfort.
Starscream nods wordlessly and braces himself again, shoulders tense as the screech of the welder fills the air. The last rip has torn into his aileron and he can't hold back a ragged gasp as you work the welder over the tender area. You hate feeling him jerk and twitch beneath your servos in barely-suppressed agony. But finally, after what feels like forever, you click the welder off and plunge the room back into silence, save for Starscream's rough ex-vents. You are reluctant to move away from him so quickly, especially when he's in this condition, so you quietly stay where you are, gently brushing your servo over the broad, unmarred sections of his wings in silent comfort.
He could have easily pushed you away, but you're relieved that he doesn't, allowing you to continue touching him as he collects himself. It's a few kliks before he makes to get up, scowling in disgust as he takes in his energon caked frame and the rapidly drying puddle on the floor. You busy yourself with tidying the med kit, purposely looking away as Starscream takes a nanoklik to steady himself.
He's no doubt due for a visit to the washracks, and looking down at your own frame, you're no better. If anything, you're eager to cleanse yourself of Starscream's energon - the memory of his crumpled frame on the floor flashes through your processor, and you accept with quiet resignation that this will feature in your nightmares at some point.
"Cadet."
You look up, and Starscream is watching you with an unreadable expression on his faceplate.
"You performed well."
With wide optics, you nod jerkily at him from where you're still kneeling on the floor. You swear you caught the corner of his intake twitch upwards before he whirled round and stalked off again, clearly in dire need of a wash.
Rising to your pedes with a wince, you shake out the numbness of compressed wires in your legs. However, your spark thrums with the dizzying satisfaction of having been able to help, and the lightheaded thrill of receiving praise from Starscream.

I Told You To Stay pt.2 (NSFW)
Pairing: Peter Pan x Reader
Prompt: After chasing you down, Peter catches you in the forest and things get ... spicy
A/N: Hi!! So, I know it's been a year since the first part, but I felt inspired, and I love that you guys enjoyed it! THERE IS A SPICY SCENE AT THE END OF THIS PART! I indicated it in case anyone doesn't want to read some nasty; you can skip it. :) I don't ever do NSFW scenes, but I felt like this needed it.
I Told You To Stay Pt. 1
Tumblr media
What a compromising situation you found yourself in. Arms pinned above your head, held against a tree staring up into some very angry, yet worrying, eyes, you can’t help but want to laugh at your position. Figures, this is what you get for slipping out the window and running into the woods like hell hounds were nipping at your heels. But in all fairness, your actions were warranted.
How else were you supposed to react when Peter brought you back to his secret cabin after spending a romantic night together and then suddenly, Wendy is at said so-called “secret cabin” calling him ‘baby’ and trying to rub up on him? Regardless of Peter’s denials, it’s hard to believe that truth when she was standing right in front of you.
“I thought I told you to stay,” Peter says in a threateningly calm voice.
“Let me go, Peter.” You tried to keep your voice calm, trying to seem nonchalant. You kept your face passive, but there was a war of emotions inside of you.
You felt hurt. Angry. Embarrassed. Betrayed. And as much as you were trying to suppress it, you felt …. yearning. Even through all this, your heart was still looking for him in the darkness. It skipped and leaped in happiness that he was here. That he came racing after you. That he came looking for you when Wendy was probably waiting for him back at the cabin. The thought of her cause a bite of anger to shoot through you.
“Go back to Wendy, Peter.” You clipped.
“I told you to stay.” His voice was deadly. Deadly to your nerves and deadly to your heart.
Squeezing your eyes shut and blowing out a breath of frustration, trying desperately to get a hold of your temper that you could feel rising. “Go back to your cabin, Peter. Let me go.”
“I told you to stay. All you had to do was stay.” He snarled right back as if you hadn’t said a word and he had the audacity to sound upset with you!
Your eyes shot open and in a burst of adrenaline, you yanked your hands free and shoved against his chest, blurting “Let me go! You lied! I trusted you! I trusted you when everyone else laughed at me and you lied to me!” Shock flashed in his face quickly before he was able to hide it. You have never lost your temper or shown an ounce of venom since you’ve arrived to Neverland.
You pushed at his chest and tried to shove up off the tree to make your escape, but he wasn’t budging. Instead of stepping back to give you the space you desperately wanted, he stepped into you. Your hands pressed against his chest and your back pressed into the tree. Your bodies were flesh against each other now.
“I have never lied to you, Y/N.”
Scoffing in disbelief, your rising temper spoke for you, “You said that you and Wendy weren’t together.”
“Again. I have never lied to you.” He growled.
“Oh really?” Your voice was dripping with sarcasm. “It didn’t look that way to me. My mistake. It definitely didn’t look like she was cozy in your place and on your body. Peter, I don’t know what game you’re playing but I don’t want any part of it. It looks like Wendy is already in the picture so I don’t want any part of this!”
“Y/N, would you please just listen to me. I’ll explain everything.”
“I’ve been asking you to explain! I’ve been asking for months and you’ve avoided giving me even an ounce of clarity and now is when you want to explain?! Now that I’ve seen things clearly with my own eyes? I’m supposed to have faith in my feelings towards you but I have to ignore the proof right in front of me? The pair of you are playing mother and father all over this island and I’m supposed to ignore that?!”
“It is not like that.” He snapped, his own frustration growing.
He went to grab your hands again but you batted them away. Pushing and shoving at his chest, you were desperate to get away. Feeling frantic, the anger you’ve been trying to smother was starting to bubble and rise to the surface. But now your feelings were out of control. Laying too close to the surface was your frustration, hurt, confusions and yearning. Somehow in all of this, your heart was still looking for him in the darkness. Feeling pinned and trapped, the frustration was bringing tears to your eyes.
“Just listen, Y/N-”
“Get off me!”
Fed up with your pats and pushes, Peter finally shoved your hands aside and firmly cupped your face. Bringing his forehead down to rest against yours, his fingers cradling the back of your head creating a warm cocoon of just you and him.
 “My dear sweet, Y/N. Listen to me. I know asking you to put your trust in me is not a fair ask but I’m going to do it anyway. I have my reasons for keeping Wendy on this island, but I promise you, it’s not romantic. I have … suspicions about her that I need to resolve before I can decide what to do with her. But please just trust in me.” The sweetness of his soft voice and his request soaked into your heart the way watercolor soaks into fine paper. His softness and intimacy drained the fight from you, leaving you with only hurt.
Not wanting to fall for his tricks and continue this loop, you whisper, “Please don’t do this, Peter. These mind games, I-I-I can’t! I’m too tired and too weak to survive you. Please-”
But before you could tell him off, he interrupts, “I know it’ll sound like an easy excuse or some made up lie but I’m telling the truth. I’m going to need your trust because it’ll sound like I’m paranoid, but I promise, this isn’t some easy way out excuse…. just something isn’t right with her. And things haven’t been right since she’s gotten here. I can feel a change in Neverland, but I can’t figure out what she’s done. I’ve caught her rifling through my things and trying to follow me. I’ve been letting her and acting as though I haven’t noticed, but only so that I can figure out what she is trying to do. But that’s how she found my cabin before. I didn’t take her there and I didn’t tell her about it, but she knows about it because she followed me one night. I’m telling you the truth. Just let me figure out what is going on and I’ll get rid of her.” His voice was earnest, like he was being honest but there was a whisper of doubt in the back of your mind.
Maybe he was being truthful? But I haven’t noticed any changes in the island. But I guess I arrived around the same time Wendy did and didn’t know what it was like before. But he could also be lying just to keep me placated.
Sensing your doubts, Peter tilts your head up and plants his lips on yours. One of his hands slide to the back of your nape to hold you steady for his onslaught of your mouth. His mouth was soft and warm. Sweet and demanding. Fervent but nervous. A man yet still a boy.
Tears finally slip down your face as you went the unwanted relief that washed over you. How could you want this man so much, a man you weren’t even sure if you could trust, but needed desperately. A man that made you weak with want but afraid of the fall. Against your lips, he whispers, “Please, Y/N, please,” but his kisses never stop and your heart tugs with every quiver you could feel from his lips. What was he asking for? What else could he want from you? But whatever it was … you knew you would give it to him.
“Trust in me. I’m begging you, just trust in me. Let me show you. Come back to the cabin, I sent her away, you’ll see, she’s not there anymore.”
“It’s not just the cabin, Peter. It’s everything. She’s everywhere. I see you guys-”
“But have you ever seen me affectionate with her? Never. It’s never been like that. She might be donned the title of Lost Mother or whatever, but that doesn’t have any association to me. It’s all for the boys.”
“Peter-” He cut in before you could argue.
“Please. Just trust in me. Just enough so that I can prove it to you. Then decide for yourself, but for right now, just trust in me enough. Come back with me tonight. Don’t leave me.” And that was it. That was when your resolve broke and there was nothing you could do but pay heed to his request. With your heart in your throat, throwing caution to the wind, you return his kiss tenfold; letting your actions answer for you.
~~~ it’s nasty time, ladies and gentlemen ~~~~
Your hands cup his jaw and you push up on your toes, slanting your head to deepen the kiss. You open your mouth in invitation and he accepts instantly. His tongues rushes in to meet and dance with yours; a happy reunion. His groan of relief vibrates through your body and your core tightens in excitement. Squeezing your thighs together to find any sort of relief and you run your hands down his chest to grip the fabric of his shirt, pulling him impossibly closer.
Suddenly, Peter reaches down and hooks his arms behind your thighs before hoisting you up, your back against the tree and your legs wrapped around his hip, only his body keeping you suspended. The dress that you were wearing rides up high on your thigh and the cold air swirls against your burning skin cause goose bumps were pebble in their wake. Peter uses his hips to keep you pin against the tree but that meant that your could feel his hard member resting against your sex.
Peter shoves his face into the crook of your neck and suckles and nibbles all along any exposed skin. His hands were gripping and kneading your ass as he was supporting your weight. Almost like he couldn’t help himself, Peter rocks his hips into yours pulling a gasp from you and a groan from him at the sudden delicious friction. “What have you done to me, Y/N? I can feel your grip on your mind and I can do nothing to stop you. You’ve bewitched me. All I could ever need is you, like this.” His whispered breath skates across your skin, burning your ears and curling your toes.
Giving him easier access to your skin, your eyes close and your head rolls to the side. Unbeknwnsts to you, this movement causes the strap of your dress to slip off your shoulders, the top of your dress falling slightly, giving Peter a perfect view of the tops of your breast. You felt one of his hands tease up your legs and in between your flushed bodies. He pulls your panties to the side and your feel his fingers delve into your folds. You let out a small whimper as he hits his mark, using your wetness, he swirls his expert fingers around your clit with ease. “Peter, please.” His name fell from your lips like a prayer, causing his to chuckle and you yelp in surprise as he plants a firm bite on your neck, causing threads of pleasure down your spine. Your breast felt heavy and achy with need, every pant from you causing your nipples to rub against his chest. Your hips are now rolling on their own accord, moving in time with his torturing fingers.
“You keep begging sweetly like that and I won’t be able to stop myself from taking you right here. I’m barely holding onto my reserve right now, Y/N. I want nothing more than to throw you down and have my fill of you. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll tell me to stop right now.”
Sighing dreamily, you tease, “Weren’t you the one who started this, hmm?” His movements slowed to a stop, and he simply held you for a long moment. Your heart felt like it was floating and soaring through the cloud, butterflies in your stomach as his breath fanned against your breast. “Yeah well … I’ve never been the reasonable one, have I?” You felt his smirk against your neck before it disappeared in his seriousness, “If you want me to stop, Y/N, you have to let me know now.”
“You’ll stop if I ask?” Your whisper was barely heard as it floated through the silent night.
He was silent for a moment before he responded, “I would. It would kill me but I would. I would do anything you asked of me, Y/N. I would steal the moon for you if you asked it of me. Please … just stay with me.”
Wrapping your arms around his head and shoulders, you envelop the precious bundle that was clingy to you like you were his life source. How could you deny him? Tilting your head towards him so that you lips ghosted over his ear, you whisper, “I need you, Peter. Are you going to make me beg?”
You let out a started gasp as he shot to life. Your hands falling away from him and bracing behind you against the tree as one of his hands shot down to undo his pants while the other ripped the top of your dress down the middle, leaving the two sides falling open and revealing your body to him. Your dress hung loosely, like a belt wrapped around your waist now, your breasts exposed to the cool air causing your nipples to pebble. Suddenly his naked cock was dragging between your wet lips as he rocked against you, coating it with your arousal. Peter pushed to have his body flush against yours again and his face back in your neck, one hand went back to your ass while the other grabbed and squeezed at your breast.
“Y/N. I need you. Hard and fast. I can’t think straight and having you like this is pushing me towards the brink of insanity. I can’t control myself right now.”
“Don’t hold back, Peter. I need you, just as you are.”
A pleasured cry and a “oh my god” was ripped from you when Peter lifted you and slid you the whole way down, taking his whole cock inside you until you were sitting flush against his thigh. “Oh, fuck, Y/N. My dreams are nothing compared to this.”
Your eyes rolled to the back of your head as he used you to milk his cock; using you to ride him. His arm flexing to lift you and his hips slamming up to meet you. His pace was brutal. His strength had you slamming down with a force that made your muscles squeeze and pulse with every thrust. Your cries were loud and obscene but his growls and grunt were feral; only causing you to react more frantically. Your hips your rolling to meet his thrusts and the strong kneading on your achy breasts and bites along your neck was almost too much to bare. In and out. In and out. Every slide and every slam sending pleasure to the tops of your head to the tips of your toes.
Then suddenly, his hand was there again, right on your clit with enough pressure that cause nearly painful pleasure. He continued to buck into you like a wild animal, your muscles clenched like a vice in satisfaction. He swirled and flicked with such precision as though he knew exactly what you felt and knew what you needed. Your head was swimming with arosual, your toes curling and your back arching against the rough texture on your back, cause little delicious scratches to scrape there. “Peter, I’m right there. Cum with me. I need you.”
He slammed his lips into yours, drinking in all your cries, and his efforts doubled, then all at once, he stilled and groaned into your mouth, and he shook and emptied into you. Sweaty and panting, you both held each other, desperate to catch your breaths. After a few calm and blissful minutes, Peter softly kisses your jaw and whispers, “Come back with me, Y/N. Stay with me.”
With your eyes closed, your head rolled back, and your smile pointing up towards the dark sky, you whisper, “Ok, Peter. Take me home.”
Right Where You Left Me
Request: I would love to request a fic where the reader is Sirius' wife who reunites with him after he escapes from Azkaban, takes care of him e.g. feeding him and grooming him, and helping him get better.
Hi! I’m so sorry for the wait, it took me forever to get to this request, and even longer to finish it. I’ve been in a bit of a slump, but I feel better. I love this request, thank you so much for sending it in! I hope you enjoy it :)
(Warnings: swearing, mentions of azkaban and sirius’s treatment there, mentions of death, vague mention of nudity, let me know if i missed anything)
When you received the Patronus from Remus telling you Sirius had escaped from Azkaban, it brought you to your knees.
You thought about him every day. But you could only ever picture him in the days before he was arrested. It hurt too much to think about him rotting away in prison. But hearing that he got out? That he was out in the world and could be anywhere by now? The fact that he was suddenly much closer to you than you thought he would ever be again?
It terrified you.
You married Sirius right after school ended and the war was beginning to pick up. He proposed on a whim, telling you that the rest of your days weren’t guaranteed, and he didn’t want to live through another day without you tied to him. You would have always been by his side, but this was tying more than just your lives together—it was your souls. When Harry was born, you were named his godparents. All was well for a while. Calm, even. Of course, the calm didn’t last.
It wasn’t long after your marriage before that night in Godric’s Hollow came, and Sirius was taken away from you.
But it wasn’t just Sirius.
It was James, Lily, and Peter—even Mary. Marlene was in the weeks before, and Dorcas too. They were ripped away from you, far before you were ready to let them go. Remus was the only one who you kept in touch with after that night. You clung to each other in the weeks after, seeming to be the only people in the world the other could find solace in. But as the years passed, your visits and letters became few and far in between.
Then—after all that time—another Patronus came.
Sirius had come to Hogwarts, and he’d proved his innocence to those who mattered. It was Peter who had betrayed everyone, and he was still alive.
And, while Sirius had you and Remus on his side, he was still considered a fugitive. The Aurors were after him, and he needed to be kept some place safe where they wouldn’t come looking. Luckily for you, the flat you bought was outside of Wizarding London. Sirius had always loved the feeling of places untouched by magic, so after you married, you moved in together in a quiet area on the outskirts of London. It was his idea to use magic to ward it so that people looking for you would have a hard time, and after so long away from the Wizarding community, not many people would think it was worth it or even remember to come looking for Sirius in hiding with you.
After twelve years of solitude, you couldn’t fathom the idea of your husband coming back to you. You couldn’t fathom the idea of him being part of your day to day life again. All you could do to keep yourself together was tidy up and prepare for Sirius’s arrival.
You couldn’t believe it when Remus finally brought him home to you.
Your boy—who was a man now, or at least the shell of one—was sitting right in your living room. The only home he had ever known outside of Grimmauld Place or Hogwarts, and he couldn’t have looked more out of place.
Neither of you spoke when Remus eased him down onto the couch, before coming to your side. You’d always pictured that by some miracle if Sirius ever came home to you, you’d rush into his arms and he’d hold you like no time had passed. You spent years missing his touch, wishing you could hug him just one more time. But now he was right in front of you, and you had no idea how to act. You didn’t know if he even wanted you to touch him. You couldn’t take your eyes off Sirius, eyes wide as you looked him over.
Time had not been kind to him.
You could see the man you once knew bleeding through, but so much of this version of him was unknown to you. Sirius kept his eyes on the floor, but would occasionally glance up at you. You knew he was seeing a stranger, too.
“I have to go back,” Remus whispered, turning your attention to him. “They’ll know what’s happened back at Hogwarts if I don’t leave soon, and too many people know what’s happened already. I’m sorry. I’ll come back as soon as I can, yeah?”
You could hardly hear him, but you quickly nodded, giving him a squeeze. “Be careful, Remus. I’ll take care of him while you’re gone.”
“I know you will,” he murmured, squeezing you tight.
He let you go, kneeling down next to Sirius who was watching you both with a look full of anxiety. Remus placed a hand on Sirius’s shoulder, his touch light and gentle.
“I have to go, alright? But you’re safe here. I promise. It’s just Y/N.”
Just Y/N, Sirius thought. He just nodded, a conflicted look on his face. Remus stood up, giving you one last look of sympathy, before walking out the door. He left a deafening silence in his wake.
It took you forever to get your feet to move. But when you did, you were falling. You landed on your knees just in front of Sirius, peering up at him through teary eyes. You could see him take a breath, stilling as you got closer.
“Can I touch you?” You asked, your voice barely a whisper.
Sirius swallowed hard. He gave you an almost imperceptible nod, and you gently reached your hand up, your fingertips hovering over his face. Taking a breath, you cradled his cheek in your palm. You could feel the stubble along his jaw, and the sharpness off his cheek. His skin was cool, far from the usual flush you remembered from all those years ago.
“You’re really here,” you murmured, your voice catching in your throat. “Oh, love. You’re so beautiful.”
Your words pulled a pained whimper from Sirius’s chest. He nestled his face into your hand, a few stray tears pooling in your palm. You were quick to wipe them away, leaning in close. He tilted his head down, resting his forehead against yours. He took a deep breath, taking you in.
“I pictured your face every day, and I still think I’ll never get tired of looking at you. How could I? You’re right here in front of me, as beautiful as the day I lost you. But you’ve always been the pretty one in this relationship, haven’t you?”
You let out a watery laugh, shaking your head. “In my dreams. But it’s good to see your sense of humor is still intact.”
The next few moments were quiet, nothing but the sound of sniffles and shaky breaths reaching your ears.
Finally, Sirius forced himself to look around. He’d braced himself from the moment he walked in to see all that had changed since he left. He’d expected you to move on and live your life without him, and he’d expected the flat to reflect that. It was honestly more of a shock to him when Remus told him you still lived there than anything else. But as he looked around and took everything in, he realized how wrong he had been.
“You haven’t changed a thing,” he said, looking at the art on the walls you’d picked out together when you first moved in.
You glanced around as well. You wanted to tell him how you didn’t have the heart to change anything. And although seeing him in everything around you felt like you were being stabbed, you just couldn’t get rid of anything. Getting rid of it would mean getting rid of all you had left of him.
And you would have rather been stabbed a thousand times than do that.
You shook your head, pointing to the spare room. “Actually, Remus lived here for a while. He pretty much flipped that whole room. Said something about you having too expensive a taste for him to have to endure for extended periods of time.”
“Merlin, I bet it looks like grunge threw up in there,” he mused, making you smile and nod.
You stood up, offering him your hands. “Are you hungry? We need to get you fed and cleaned up, love.”
Sirius looked down to the robes he was wearing. They were tattered—resembling rags stitched together more than they were resembling clothes. His hair was greasy and matted to his head, and his face and body was caked in dirt. He had almost forgotten just how dirty he was, a flush spreading across his cheeks as he gave you an embarrassed look.
“It’s alright, darling,” you said softly, taking his hands in yours. “We’ll take it at your pace. Don’t worry, I’ve got you.”
Reluctantly, Sirius nodded. You smiled, gently leading him up off the sofa and into the kitchen.
It took ages to find him something to eat.
You nearly keeled over when he told you that pretty much the only thing he had been given to eat for the past twelve years was bread and water. It was what he’d grown accustomed to eating, and he wasn’t sure he could stomach anything else. You had to choke back tears when you finally suggested soup—one of the first things he learned to make on his own without magic. It took a while, but he managed to get most of it down.
You made small talk while he ate, telling him little things he’d missed while he was gone. You left out the most painful details. You could tell him about those later.
Finally, he couldn’t stall anymore.
He let you take him by the hand and lead him to the bathroom, his eyes on the floor as you shut the door behind him.
“Shower or bath?” You asked, turning the water on to let it heat up. “A bath might be easier. You look tired, and I don’t want you falling over or something.”
Sirius just nodded, and you assumed he was alright with you choosing for him. You let the tub fill up, making sure the water wasn’t too hot before you turned the faucet off. You turned back around, frowning when you saw Sirius looking back at you with anxious eyes.
“It’s ready,” you said softly, stepping out of the way.
Sirius watched you for a moment, fidgeting back and forth on his heels. Just as you opened your mouth to speak again, he beat you to it.
“Can you turn around?” He asked, lowering his eyes to the floor. “I don’t mind if you stay, but could you…could you maybe turn around for this part?”
You quickly nodded, stepping towards the door. “Of course! I’m sorry, I didn’t even ask if you wanted me in here—”
He was quick to speak, his voice shaky. “I do! But this is just a little weird, you know?”
You nodded, backing up to the doorway and turning to face it. You could feel the heat creep up to your cheeks as you heard his clothes hit the floor, followed by the sound of him climbing into the tub. You had seen Sirius naked a thousand times before. He was never ashamed of his body, he never shied away, and you had seen plenty of him in your years of knowing him. This version of him made your chest tighten, and all you could do was stand there and hope he wasn’t feeling the emotions you were. You waited another moment before talking over your shoulder.
“Do you need anything, love? I’ll wait outside if you want me to. Unless you want me here. I’m happy to do whatever you want, it’s up to you.”
Sirius cleared his throat. “Uh…could you maybe help me? My hair is matted and I don’t think I can fix it on my own.”
There was probably a spell you could have used—some sort of detangling charm to help get the mats out. But Sirius had gotten used to not being able to use magic, and you didn’t feel like using it either. The truth was, you preferred it this way.
It was an excuse to get close to him again and spend time with him.
It was an excuse to take care of him.
You nodded, turning around to grab your brush. You kept your eyes on his as you sat down on the edge of the tub, trying your best not to let your eyes wander. You set your brush on your knees, reaching for a cup off the ledge of the tub to dip down into the water and fill up.
“Tilt your head back for me, love,” you directed, smoothing your hand over his hairline as he tipped back far enough for you to pour the water over his hair.
You repeated the process a few more times before setting the cup down and grabbing the conditioner. You smoothed it through his hair, gently tugging at the knots with your fingers before you grabbed your brush. It was silent while you worked, making slow but steady progress. Eventually, Sirius shifted, and the water sloshed just over the side of the tub.
“Sorry,” he muttered, looking over his shoulder with guilty eyes to see if he splashed you.
“Don’t be,” you replied quickly, smoothing a comforting hand across his shoulder before moving back up to his hair. “Are you alright? Getting cold?”
Sirius opened his mouth to speak, before deciding against it and closing it. He just shook his head, growing silent once more. You knew there was something he wasn’t saying, and you didn’t want to push him. But you hadn’t made much progress with his hair, and you didn’t fancy sitting in silence for the rest of the evening.
You set your brush down, gently smoothing your palm over his hair. “Sirius…you can tell me anything. You know that, right? I know this feels strange, but it’s still me you’re talking to. Alright? It’s me. There’s nothing you can’t tell me. Whatever it is, I’m here to listen.”
There was another splash as he shifted, twisting around to face you. He was going to say that he’d tell you another time, and that he didn’t have it in him to say it just yet.
But then he looked into your eyes.
And you were looking at him with such sincerity and warmth that he couldn’t help but spill. You watched his eyes fill with tears, and you quickly reached for his hand which he gladly let you take.
“I saw Harry,” he finally choked out.
You felt your breath catch in your chest. A deep sorrow spread through you, filling your gut with dread. You could feel your own tears stinging behind your eyes, but you quickly blinked them away. It wasn’t the time for them.
“He looks just like them, doesn’t he?” You breathed, squeezing Sirius’s hand. “I haven’t seen him in a while. Remus promised he’d say hello for me once he got to Hogwarts.”
“He knows who you are?” Sirius asked, his voice full of surprise.
“Dumbledore wouldn’t tell me where he was when they came for him. The bastard said I was “in no shape” to look after him, and it was too dangerous for me to get involved. I tried so many times to get him to tell me, but I knew he had already pushed me and Remus to the back of the list as far as who could be around Harry…I didn’t even catch a glimpse of him until he was eight. Merlin, you have no idea how angry I was when I found out they had given him to Petunia and her sorry excuse for a husband.”
Sirius’s jaw clenched. You could see the anger brewing inside him, watching as he took deep breaths to calm himself. But he didn’t let it out on you. He just squeezed your hand, tightening his grip.
Sirius cleared his throat. “Did you try and go get him?”
“Dumbledore threatened to have my magic taken away if I didn’t leave the matter be. He didn’t tell me anything about Harry or where he was kept hidden away. He just brought me a picture of him, and promised that when it was finally time for Harry to go to Hogwarts, he’d let me see him. Remus had to keep an eye on me till he was sure I wouldn’t do something stupid before that time came. He’d been waiting as long as me—he’s just better than me at patience, I guess.”
“You never were very good at being patient,” Sirius mused, but you could hear the strain in his voice as he spoke.
You gave him a tight lipped smile, trying your best to mean it. “Anyway, I met Harry for the first time in Diagon Alley. Dumbledore finally let me see him under the condition that it be in a public and magical place—but I wasn’t allowed to tell him about you.”
Sirius frowned, and you could feel your chest tighten. You ran your thumb along the back of his hand, your eyes in your lap.
“I wanted to tell him—so badly. But Dumblefore wouldn’t let me. All I could say was that I was a friend of Harry’s parents, and that I was there to help him get ready for school. I finally told him I was his godmother last summer when I took him for school supplies again. He spent the afternoon asking me about how I knew his parents. He kept pressing for every detail about them and how I knew them, and I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I told him everything about James and Lily I could remember. It just about killed me—”
Your words caught in your throat, cutting you short. Sirius reached his other hand up to reach for yours, his brows furrowing in concern. You looked up, giving him a sad smile.
You swallowed, choking back tears. “He’s so like them, Sirius. He’s got James’s ridiculous hair, and Lily’s fire. I can hardly look at him without seeing her eyes staring back at me. It’s so fucking unfair.”
A pained sound was pulled from Sirius’s throat, and you stopped yourself from talking about James and Lily any further. You grabbed the brush again, burying your nose in your work as you tried to ignore the sorrow you caught in his eyes before he turned his head straight.
“Tell me about it,” you prompted, changing the subject. “Tell me about him.”
Sirius was quiet a moment, like he was trying to find the right words. “He was…beautiful.”
You smiled, nodding for him to continue as you worked the knots out of his hair.
“He’s got this little witch by his side who quite honestly scared me—”
“Hermione,” you finished for him, grinning. “She’s a wonder, isn’t she? Ron, too.”
Sirius nodded, wringing his hands. “I’m glad Harry has someone. They seem like good friends. He’ll at least have them by his side to keep him from getting into too much trouble. He’ll certainly have a better shot than we did.”
You chuckled, smoothing your hand over his hair. “Remus told me he’s doing really well. It was a big year for him, but…he’ll be alright. We’ll see to that now.”
Sirius stiffened, turning around to face you. You paused what you were doing, setting down the brush. His eyes were lowered, his voice quiet as he spoke.
“I told him he could come stay with me, at least once it was safe to and he was able. I wasn’t really thinking about where that would be. My first thought was Grimmauld Place, but I don’t think I can stomach having him there. It’s not right. But I didn’t think to ask you—”
“Sirius, love,” you interrupted, gently cupping his cheek. “This is your home. You can invite whoever you want—you don’t have to ask my permission. And Harry will always be welcome here. If it’s what he wants, he can come stay with us. It can be his home too.”
His eyes softened, and his shoulders fell as he let out a breath of relief. “Merlin, I missed you.”
You could feel yourself growing emotional again, but you refused to let it show. There was so much you wanted to say to him, but you couldn’t bring yourself to speak without your eyes welling with tears. You just cleared your throat as you leaned forward, pressing a chaste kiss to his shoulder.
“Tilt your head back for me again, darling,” you managed to whisper, rinsing his hair out. “Almost done. We’ll get you cleaned up so you can rest, alright?”
Not long after, you had Sirius clean and out of the tub, bundled up under the pile of blankets you had dragged over to your bed. He looked a bit ridiculous buried under them all, but it made you smile seeing him comfortable, and he was very happy to oblige you.
You laid next to him, under a considerably less amount of layers. “Warm enough?”
A warm laugh came from next to you as Sirius rolled over to face you. “Yeah, I think I’m all set, darling.”
You smiled, and the room fell into a comfortable silence. Out of habit—one you didn’t even know you still had—you reached for his hand under the sheets. You used to always wind down every night like this, cherishing the time you had together. You never knew how much longer you’d be able to do it with the war raging on, and you both got quite used to doing this each night.
Sirius stiffened in surprise when he felt your fingers reach his, but he quickly recovered once he realized what you were doing. He let you take his hand in yours, intertwining your fingers.
“This bed is so soft,” he murmured, tilting his chin down to look at you. “I forgot how soft it was.”
You tried not to let your mind wander, thinking about the sleeping conditions he would have had in Azkaban. He would tell you one day about what it was like there.
Neither of you were prepared to talk about it just yet.
“Do you wanna sleep somewhere else? I could make up the couch—”
“No, love,” he said, squeezing your hand. “This is good.”
You nodded, resting your head against the pillow. Another silence fell over the room. You shuffled to get a little closer, absentmindedly tracing your thumb along the back of his hand. Sirius let out a heavy sigh, drawing your attention up to him. You waited for him to speak, lying still until he looked down and his eyes met yours. There was a pain in them you couldn’t describe.
“Did you think I did it?”
You sucked in a breath, your grip on his hand tightening. You could feel his eyes on you as you frowned, bring your joined hands up from under the sheets to rest on top of the blanket.
You had been waiting for him to ask you this.
You knew he must have spent the past decade wondering what you thought happened. He’d sat in that cell all alone, thinking his wife thought he was a cold blooded murderer who had killed her best friends.
The world thought he was a killer. Why wouldn’t you?
You dropped his hand, gently reaching up to cup his cheek. His skin was warm against yours, a pink flush spreading. Was he embarrassed? Ashamed? You didn’t know. You caressed his cheek, giving him a sad smile. You could see his eyes welling with tears.
“No,” you finally said, your voice sure. “I didn’t think it was you. I didn’t know what had happened, but I didn’t think it was you.”
Sirius let out a breath, his voice cracking. “Really?”
You swallowed hard, nodding.
“You would have died before ever hurting James—and you would have done a lot worse to save him. There wasn’t a single part of me that thought you could have killed James and Lily. I just couldn’t fathom it. There was no one in this world you loved more than them, and I knew that it couldn’t have been you. I didn’t know they had made Peter the secret keeper last minute, and I didn’t know where his body was if he was supposed to be dead, but I knew you had absolutely nothing to do with it. I think Remus knew it too…deep down. He thought I was crazy with the theories I was coming up with to try and absolve you. But he never truly blamed you—and eventually, we stopped talking about it all together. It hurt too much to keep trying to solve the mystery. It was easier to let it go.”
Fresh tears spilled, and Sirius was quick to wipe them away. Your heart ached at his kindness, even after all these years. All these years of solitude when you had left him behind, and yet, he was the one consoling you.
“I’m so sorry,” you choked out, composing yourself the best you could. “I’m so sorry I didn’t try harder to get you back. I’m so sorry you had to suffer there all those years while I got to just keep living my life. You don’t know how sorry I am. Please forgive me, Sirius.”
Sirius quickly shook his head, his palm resting against your cheek. “None of that, pretty girl. It’s not your fault—”
“But it is,” you tried to say, but he just kept shaking his head.
“Well, I don’t care—it doesn’t matter…I don’t blame you. I never blamed you, darling. So stop blaming yourself. I’m sure you’ve spent long enough doing that, and I won’t watch you torture yourself. Don’t you think we’ve both been through enough torture?”
You could hardly believe what you were hearing. He was so strong. It shocked you, just how strong he was. He had been through so much, and yet he still carried himself like the man you knew. He still let other people lean on him even when it should have been him doing the leaning. It was remarkable, really.
“Since when did you get so wise?” You asked, and you had mustered a grin that made him smile too. “Where’s the stubborn man I once knew?”
Sirius shrugged. “He’s still in here somewhere. Just needs a little practice. Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll meet him again soon.”
You scoffed, breathing out a laugh. “That’s alright. I kinda missed him.”
Sirius chuckled, and your smile widened. This felt easy—this was good. You were so worried that, after all this time, you wouldn’t know how to act around each other. You were so afraid that Sirius would walk around the flat like a ghost of the man who once called it home. But he didn’t. It only took him a few hours to start cracking jokes, brushing his fingers against yours.
It wasn’t perfect—neither of you expected it to be.
But it gave you hope. Sirius was going to be okay. You both were going to be okay. And you’d get there together.
A/N - Hi! Again, I'm so sorry for the wait. I honestly don’t love the outcome of this, but I figured I’d finish it anyways. I loved this request, and I just kept coming back to it and adding it. Hopefully this is what you were looking for, sorry if it’s shit. Thanks for the request :)
Imagine Nick Fury being stressed the fuck out because all the Avengers are atleast scared of one or two, if not, all modes of transport. We don’t think about how much trauma this heroes actually have honestly.
Nick Fury, asking purely out of concern as he sees uncomfortable or concerned looks on the Avengers’s faces: Is there any objections to how we get there? We’ll be traveling by road.
Tony, uncomfortable with cars/ground vehicles after his parents crash and the amount of times he nearly died by cars crashing into him too: *raises his hand*
Stephen, also uncomfortable with ground vehicles because it was the reason his hands are busted up: *raises hand too*
Fury, sighing before suggesting another option: The quinjet?
Bruce, already very uncomfortable with the mention of the quinjet: *raises his hand*
Fury, pinching his nose bridge: How about one of Stark’s planes. It has cloaking tech too.
Steve and Peter being uncomfortable with planes because Steve literally lived under ice for 70+ years and Peter is scared after the vulture accident and his parents died on a plane: *raises hand*
Fury, gripping onto the meeting table tightly to control his emotions: How about a train.
Bucky, extremely uncomfortable with trains(The man literally fell out of one). Steve, having witnessed Bucky fall off the train and is terrified:*raises hand*
Fury looks over to the two agents at the side, noticing how stiff they looked and their faces very close to betraying their emotions of terror, yet did not raise their hands at all: What the hell is wrong with the two of you
Clint and Natasha being uncomfortable and probably having beef with every type of transport known to mankind: *looks away and Nick has already figured out why*
Fury sighs deeply, now having to figure out how the hell is he going to get everyone to walk to their next mission.
Maria Hill coming up beside him to whisper something to Fury: Spin a wheel and whatever mode of transport it lands on, they either suck it up or we sedate them
Thor who only ever travels by the bifrost or quinjet: *visibly confused*
