“ So, you don’t believe in love” she was given the middle finger immediately “ Isn’t that what all you girls want, you want love, a good husband and money. I’m calling bullshit.” He took a sip of the brandy, and passed it her.
“ I didn’t say, I didn’t believe in love, if you would actually listen to the conversation, you would understand what I’m trying to say.” She took a sip of the brandy “ This is awful..”
Matteo nodded in agreement “ Has to be the worse brandy, I’ve ever had, okay, okay, explain it me then.”
Aurora adjusted herself, leaning back as she took another swing and began to explain herself. “ My mother had been in love twice in her life, the first time when she was really young, snd the second time when she was older. The first time, was to my father.” As she handed him back the bottle “ She was this beautiful pearl, no one had ever seen or heard of, even away from the world because of her birth. She met my father, and it was instant. Everything was wild, and passionate and exciting, until.. he didn’t show up to their wedding, and left her on the alter.”
Matteo took the brandy, mid-sip “ Well, that was fucking cold. .. and she somehow still had kids with him, what was she sixteen?” He joked, as Aurora gave a confirmation nod. “ Your father probably guess it was too early for them to marry?” Aurora second nod, gave the confirmation. “ So, who was the second time?”
Immediate Aurora frowned, as she didn’t like to talk about this part of her mother story. “ My mother suffered mentally when my father did not appear on their wedding day, she had a complete fit, and they had to carry her away from her own safety. It was agreed she would go of, to a new place and start a new life in service. That’s, when she started to open up again, she made friends. She was hunting for information about her father, and she met my godmother Destiny, and she met the man she would fall in love a second time, Levon Areli. They were happy, my godmother told me, until the kingdom fell into destruction and he was never seen again. Heartbroken, and shattered for a second time. My mother returned home and refused to eat, sleep or bathe. No one ever really talks about that .. they just mention everyone loved her and how beautiful she was. It took many months, to convince her to start leaving her room. She would only talk to her cousins, Layla, Matthew, and Ryan. They all took turns taking care of her, until my father one day return for a visit. It was certainly not the same union, there was resentment and anger. It took my father a lot of wooing, to convince my mother to even go on a horse ride with him. But, he knew the right things to say to her, and what her favorite foods and presents where. Ryan, was not convinced, so without her permission .. he sent a team to Invesigate whether Levon was really gone or not.”
Matteo eyebrow raised, at that part. Without her permission. “ how long was it before he was found?” He leaned forward interested now to see how things were going to turn out “ Almost a year.. and my mother explained to me, it was the most difficult decision she had ever made. The day of her wedding, just before she was going to meet my father down the aisle. Ryan, brought Levon to her, to make sure she wasn’t making a mistake. And she wouldn’t even open the door the see him. Even as he begged and banged on the door, she couldn’t see him.. she had made up her mind .. what was important “
Matteo again was confused and took a sip of the brandy “ You mean it was important she followed her heart, what exactly was important?” Aurora took a deep breathe “ She believed it was important that my brother, grow up with his parents, as she never got the chance to do it. As much as it pained her, she chose the love of having my brother, and loving my father. Of course, there much more to their twisted tale of romance and hoops they went through, but the point is, my mother made all her decisions based on love. The love for my brother, the love she felt for my father or for Levon during that intimate moment. The love she had for me, and trying to get me into w safe position. She wanted her whole life to feel loved and a place she could belong. I don’t believe in that, I don’t believe love has anything to do with it. I believe we make our own choices and set our own destinies. I don’t believe in love, I just dont”
Matteo was about to comment, when the winds began to change picking up speed and pushing their vessel in a completely different directions, he moved to grab Aurora shoulders to help get her to safety, but her eyes seemed dead. “ Aurora!”
He snapped his fingers infront of her “ Aurora! We need to move.”
Her eyes went black, as she felt everything around her begin to fade. Someone else.. was talking, someone else took over her.
#off the ship goes in a different direction
# Lorenzo is on the loose.

The Most Perfect Proposal Chapter 2:
I am so sorry I took forever to write this
Chapter One   AO3
“Matteo? What are you doing here?” Gastón asked, “Are you finally going to ask Luna to marry you after all these years?!?”
“I could ask you the same questions,” Matteo replied to his friend. “Are you ring shopping?”
“ Sí , I decided I cannot wait any longer.”
Matteo grinned, reaching out to embrace Gastón . “Congratulations hermano, do you have any idea what kind of ring you are going to get Nina?”
Gastón shook his head. “No clue.  There are so many!”
Matteo nodded. “I feel the same. I can’t find one that screams Luna!”
The boys peered into the case, frowning at the selection when they heard a familiar voice behind them.
“Well, funny running into you two here!”
They turned to see Simon walking towards them, a huge grin on his face.
“Hola Simón , don’t tell me you are planning to propose to Ámbar as well?”
Simón lit up. “ Sí , how did you know? What are you picking out rings?”
“ Sí ,” Matteo laughed, “It seems like we all have the same idea.”
“This is so exciting! Congratulations!” Simón said, giving them hugs. “Do you know how you are going to ask them?”
Gastón shook his head. “I want it to be very meaningful but I don’t know how yet. It needs to be perfect.”
“Agreed,” Matteo said, “But I have to go all out. Luna wouldn’t expect any less from me.”
“Maybe we could help each other out,” Simón said, “With the three of us working together, we are sure to pull off some epic proposals.”
Matteo and Gastón liked the idea. The task ahead of them was daunting: they only had one shot to get this perfect.
“How about we meet at the Jam and Roller tomorrow and we can discuss ideas,” Gastón suggested. Simón shook his head.
“ Ámbar will find out. It has to be a total surprise. Let’s meet at Casa de Java. I don’t think anyone we know will see us there.”
It was agreed upon and the next day they met at the coffee shop that was thankfully almost empty.
“I’ve wanted to marry Luna for years now,” Matteo told them the next day, “but we always seemed on the road and busy. But now that we’ve settled into Buenos Aires for a little bit, I feel like the timing is right.”
“ Sí ,” Simón agreed, “Now just seems right. We have a nice place, we both have good jobs, and the other day I was wondering what else could you be waiting for Simón ? You have loved this girl from day one!”
“I realized that I cannot let Nina go again,” Gastón piped up, “She is my everything and I want to make it official.”
“But neither of you have the ring yet?” Simón asked, pointing at the other two. Both guys shook their heads.
“I’ve looked everywhere,” Matteo complained, “But I need something that screams Luna. I am even considering going custom made.”
Simón agreed. “Luna is going to want something unique for sure. Ámbar though? I have no idea where to start. We have talked about it a couple of times and she always says that no matter what ring I get her, she will be happy but I want to get her something she will love. Something that will sparkle on her finger too, to warn off any hombres looking at her.”
“That is a good plan,” Gastón said, “I am going to get Nina something the exact opposite. Something simple that doesn’t draw attention but if you were to notice it you would think: That is one beautiful ring! My only problem is that I need to find out what ring size she is and I don’t know how.”
The other two froze as realization dawned on their faces. Gastón laughed. “You do want the ring to fit right?”
Matteo fumbled with his words. “ Sí , Sí . I was going to check on that. Luna has a hundred rings, I should be able to find out the size easily….it says on rings what size they are, sí ?”
Simón chuckled. “Most don’t hermano, we are going to have to be more creative.”
“I’ll google it,” Gastón said, pulling out his phone.
“I am glad you said something, Gastón ,” Simón said, “I would have found the perfect ring and then not known what size to order.”
“Denada, now we could use floss to measure their finger-”
“Que?” Matteo exclaimed, “Imagine trying to do that without explanation.”
“Luna wakes up and you have wrapped around her finger,” Simón grinned.
“You say ‘Perdon, Ámbar ? Can you stick out your finger for una secunda,” Matteo joked back.
“Or,” Gastón interjected. “We can steal a ring they already have and measure it with a ruler.”
“Sounds much easier,” laughed Matteo. “Let’s go with that one! By next week we should know the girls’ ring sizes and hopefully have a ring. Be looking out for one that screams Luna, ok?”
The three parted ways, making plans to meet again at the coffee shop the following week with updated news.
…..
“Matteo? Have you seen my silver infinity ring?”
Matteo cursed silently. Out of all the rings that she had, she wanted to wear the one that he had snuck out of her jewelry box this morning and into his pocket. He was going to have to measure it right now and get it back or else she was going to think she lost it and then get frustrated with herself like she always did when she was forgetful.
“No,” Matteo shouted back, “Have you checked the bedroom?” He silently tried to think where they would keep a ruler in this place.
“ Sí , that’s where I am doofus! I could have sworn it was in this jewelry box yesterday!”
“I’m sure it’s around here somewhere. When is the last time you wore it?”
Matteo scrambled around the kitchen, but couldn’t find a ruler.
“I think it was when we went to the new rollerskate line launch,” Luna said, walking out of the bedroom. She paused. “What are you doing?”
Matteo froze from where he was digging in their junk drawer. “Looking for your ring, what else?”
Luna raised an eyebrow. “I know I put things in weird spots, but I don’t think it would be in there.
Matteo raised his hands defensively, “Hey you never know, I once found your cell phone in the refrigerator.”
“That’s because I was putting away the take out-ugh! Nevermind, I can’t believe that I lost it!”
Matteo went over and put his hand on her shoulders. “I am sure it’s somewhere in this apartment. You go check the bathroom, I’ll check the sofa.”
Luna pouted and turned around to head back towards the bathroom. As soon as she was out of sight, Matteo darted back into the kitchen. He got out a sticky note and a pen, tracing the inside of the ring before shoving the sticky note in his pocket.
“Here it is mi amor!” he shouted, heading towards the bathroom, holding the “missing” ring up. Luna came out and sighed as she took it from him.
“Gracias Matteo, it was in the sofa?”
“Under it, must have fell.”
Luna slipped the ring on her finger and kissed her boyfriend on the cheek, turning back to the bedroom to finish getting ready. Matteo’s phone buzzed in his pocket.
It was a text from Gastón saying that Matteo needed to come to a store across town as soon as he could. Matteo waited until Luna left for work before leaving as well to meet Gastón .
“They have a lot of unique rings here,” Gastón said when Matteo walked into the store, “I am sure that you will find one for Luna.”
It didn’t take long to see that Gastón was right. Matteo shoved the sticky note at the sales clerk.
“I like that ring. Will it fit this sized finger?”
….
It was much easier for Simón to get Ambar’s ring size, but it was much harder to find a ring that he liked for her. There were many pretty rings, but nothing seemed to be perfect for her. He wanted something that was not too complex, but also fit Ambar’s personality. She was a fashion icon in the world, and she needed a ring on her finger to match.
It came to him one night that he was not going to find a ring that he liked anywhere in Buenos Aires. Probably not anywhere in Argentina. So he did the only thing he could do.
He videochatted his cousin as his cousin went through the fanciest jewelry store in Cancun.
“Oooh, this one is gorgeous!” his cousin gushed, “I think that a Kardashian had one just like this!”
“ Ámbar is not like a Kardashion! Also I am not made of money, Isa.”
His cousin brought him around, having the jeweler pull out a couple so Isa could hold them close to the camera. Finally, something sparkled in the camera and Simon immediately said, “What is that one? In the corner?”
It was elegant. It was beautiful. And it was very sparkly.
“Perfecto! I love it so much!”
“Love what?”
Simón had not heard Ámbar enter the front door. She sat down her bags and went to walk over to where Simón was sitting. On the screen his cousin quickly turned the camera on her and stood in a place where you could not tell where she was.
“ Ámbar , you are home so early! I am talking with mi prima, Isa.”
Ámbar sat on the couch next to Simon. “Hola Isa, como estas?”
“Bien Ámbar , hope you are well. I was just showing Simón …..my outfit! I am going to an interview and wanted to know if it looked okay.”
“ Sí , and I said it looked great,” Simón interjected, “I loved it for an interview…”
“Oh Isa, you know you can always ask me for advice on fashion,” Ámbar said, “you know that Simon only wears the same three t-shirts.”
Isa gave a nervous smile. “Sí Ámbar, pero...I thought you might be busy! So I called Simón- oh no. It looks like my phone is dying by guys. Love you!”
The call ended and Ámbar looked up confused.  “I didn’t even get to see her outfit. What is she interviewing for? I thought she was going to University.”
Simón searched for a plausible answer. “She was interviewing for….a part time job to pay for school...as a secretary! But she doesn’t even know if she really wants it.”
“I see,” Ámbar said slowly, but decided to drop it. “Monica messaged and said that they are making a big dinner tonight. Shall we go?”
“ Sí , let’s do that,” Simón replied, relieved that they were moving on from the topic. He quickly typed out on his phone “That’s the one, have it shipped to me as soon as they can!””.
….
Gastón hated keeping things from Nina. He was also terrible at keeping things from Nina. Which is why he changed the hiding spot of the ring he had gotten her at least a dozen times.
It took him the least amount of time to find a ring out of the three guys. He knew exactly what he was looking for when he walked into the jewelers and with help of the sales assistant he was able to pick out the perfect ring in a matter of a couple of hours.
Currently it was sitting in the large slow cooker in the cupboard that Nina had never touched in all the time that they had been living together.
Of course now was the day that she decided it needed to be used.
“ Gastón , will you help me get down the slow cooker?” Nina shouted from where she was standing looking up at it.
A look of panic crossed Gastón’s face from where he was watching a show on his phone. He tried to keep his cool.
“What do you need the slow cooker for?” he asked, walking over to her.
“Luna asked to use it, she is going to try to make some authentic Mexicana dishes!”
Gastón had to think quickly. “Can she use her mom’s? I don’t think our slow cooker even works. When did you even get this?”
Nina shrugged. “Someone gave it to me as a present once I think. Let’s see if it works. Could you reach it for me, por favor?”
Gastón’s palms were sweaty. He reached to grab it, but then stopped, acting as if he just realized something.
“Oh right, Nina. Could you go get the mail for me? I am waiting on a...letter from my tia in England.”
Nina looked at him, suspicious. “Okay...right now?”
Gastón kissed her on the cheek. “ Sí , I am looking forward to receiving it.”
Nina backed away slowly, watching Gastón as she headed towards the door. His smile was plastered on his face as he slowly reached up for the slow cooker.
“Gracias mi amor,” he said as she finally opened the door to leave. He waited a few beats after she left to make sure that she really was going down to the mail before quickly pulling down the slow cooker, grabbing the box with the ring in it and shoving it inside the flour canister. Then he plugged in the slow cooker to see the light turn on red. The front door opened and Nina held a few envelopes.
“Here it is,” she said, handing it to Gastón . Gastón’s eyes grew wide, not expecting to actually have a letter from his Tia. She gave a nervous laugh.
“ Gastón , are you okay? You are acting strangely.”
Gastón relaxed his muscles and kissed Nina quickly. “Everything is great. Look, it does work. Let’s bring it over to Luna and Matteo’s now.”
Later that night, when Nina was in the shower, Gastón took it out of the flour canister and dusted it off. The ring inside was still clean. He hid it in it’s final hiding spot, in his luggage at the top of the closet, where at least once a day Gastón would take it down so he could look at it.
….
Two weeks later the guys met up to set up the plans for each proposal. Dates were set, lists were made, budgets were constructed that were sure to be broken and confidants were called upon to help where needed.
On the first weekend they were going to set up Simón’s romantic and intimate proposal that was sure to knock Ámbar off her feet.
A few weeks later would be Matteo’s elaborate and spectacular proposal that would take a lot of planning and choreography.
Finally, Gastón’s special gathering of their closest friends was to happen last , on the holiday weekend when everyone would gather at the Mansion for a party.
It was going to take effort from all three of them to pull this off, but each of them had never been more sure of anything in their lives.

“An Unexpected Return”- OneShot
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I’M BACK FROM THE DEAD!  🙌🏻 🙌🏻 🙌🏻 🙌🏻 🙌🏻 🙌🏻 🙌🏻
I never thought I’d write Nico’s POV but, oh well, a prompt is a prompt  🤷🏻‍♀️ Kudos to whoever came out with this idea because I don’t remember who it was and I can’t find the ask 😂
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nico stood outside the Jam & Roller with sparkling eyes and a huge smile on his face. The place hadn’t changed a bit, at least from the outside. He breathed a long, contented sigh, thinking about all the moments he had lived inside those walls, all the people he had met, how much he had missed them and Buenos Aires. He almost couldn’t believe he was there again. He was finally back.
He had barely stopped by his hotel room to drop his bags before he was out the door, grabbing a cab and heading directly to where he was now. Even if the exterior was the same, he knew things had changed. None of his friends worked there anymore, they went to a bigger rink when anyone wanted to skate, and all of them had found bigger stages for themselves than the small one of the Jam & Roller. The building had become too small for all the stars that had been born there, but every once in a while, they all liked to hang in the place where all had started.
Nico knew some of the guys would be there that day because he had spoken to Pedro. He had wanted to surprise everyone, but it would’ve been hard to find them all without at least some help, so Pedro had been the only one he had talked to in advanced and informed that he was coming back. Pedro had always been his best friend after all, even while he was away. Of course, he had met new people in New York and made new friends, but he had kept in touch with everyone from the Roller in at least some degree. He’d be lying if he said he hadn’t drift apart some bit with some of them, that was just how life worked, but never Pedro. They may have been born from different parents, but that guy was his brother, nothing would ever change that.
Finally, he shook himself out of his reminiscing and walked inside. Some furniture had been changed, there were new paintings on the walls, but overall, the Jam & Roller remained the same.
He only needed to take a couple steps into the cafeteria for him to see them. Sat around a table on the right, were Pedro, Matteo and Ramiro. The three were drinking and talking avidly. Ramiro had his hair shorter than Nico had ever seen it, but otherwise he looked pretty much the same. Matteo had a beard now, which, of course, he had seen in photos, but it was almost weird to see it in real life. He had met him before he could grow any facial hair.
God, time really flies.
Pedro was the first to notice him since he had been waiting for him. He made a sign to the others to look in his direction. A second later, Matteo and Ramiro were staring at him wide-eyed and jumping to their feet.
“NICOOO!”
After that everything was hugs, questions, ‘I missed yous’ and a lot of smiles and laughs. They sat in the cafeteria like they used to do every day at some faraway point in their lives, and Nico felt wave after wave of nostalgia hit him, followed by happiness of being back to the one place that always felt like home.
They spent some time catching up with Ramiros and Matteo’s life while they asked about Nico’s time in New York. They all agreed to not go too into it right there though since they wanted everyone reunited to hear the stories. At the idea of gathering everyone later that day, Nico asked:
“Where’s Simón? I’ve missed that guy. I can’t wait to see him.”
Everyone seemed to think about it.
“Mmm, he must be—” Matteo started.
“In his apartment,” Pedro interrupted him. He retrieved a keyring from the pocket of his jeans. “Here, he gave me a key in case of emergencies. I’ll lend it to you so you can surprise him.”
Matteo and Ramiro looked at Pedro weirdly. Pedro didn’t seem to notice as he took out one of the keys from his keyring. Once free, he handed it to Nico.
“Simón’s got his own place now?” Nico asked as he received the key. That was news to him.
“Actually—” Matteo started, only to be interrupted by Pedro again.
“Yeah, a little while back. We may be a band but, we didn’t need to be together 24/7. We all got our own places now.” Pedro took out his phone and started typing. “There. I sent you the address.”
“Cool.” Nico smiled from ear to ear and sighed. “God, I’m so happy to see all of you. I can’t wait to see Simón’s face!”
“Oh, he’ll be surprised for sure,” Ramiro commented with a funny tone before taking a sip from his drink. Matteo laughed under his breath but didn’t say anything. Nico ignored that, too excited from the prospect of seeing his friend again to notice. He said his goodbyes to the guys, promising to see them all later, and went his way.
--------------
Nico turned the key and opened the door of Simón’s apartment as quietly as he could. Of course, there was the chance that Simón was in the living room and therefore he would immediately see him, but if not, Nico didn’t want to ruin the surprise by making too much noise.
He wasn’t in the living room, turns out, and for the looks of it, he wasn’t in the kitchen either. Nico took a moment to appreciate the place. It was big with a shiny wood floor, casually decorated, nothing too fancy except for a huge TV in front of the black leather couch. Nico was a little surprised by how clean and tidy everything looked. He had been half expecting to see dirty clothes and music sheets spread around everywhere, but the place looked good as new. Well, to be fair, Simón had never been the messiest of the three when they lived together in the loft, but Nico still wasn’t expecting to see his apartment look so pristine.
Maybe his room is a disaster and he only cleans here for appearance’s sake.
Smiling at the idea, he walked to what he assumed was the bedroom since he could see the bathroom with its door open at the end of the hall on his left. The closed door next to it, he gathered, had to be were Simón was.
He bit his lip to try not to laugh as he softly turned the knob and pulled the door open. It had been a while since he did something mischievous like this and he almost felt childish for it but, whatever, he could afford to act childish once in a while.
The moment he opened wide enough to look inside though, he lost the smile.
Simón was indeed there, yes. The issue was that he was shirtless, pants-less, with just some black boxers covering his ass as far as Nico could tell. That alone was nothing new, he had seen him like that before. The real issue was that Simón was not alone. He was sitting in bed with… Ámbar, yes, that was Ámbar, on top of him straddling his hips. She wasn’t wearing more than two pieces of underwear and Nico definitely hadn’t seen her like that before.
The reason it had taken a moment to recognize her was because they were sucking each other’s faces so fervently that it was hard to distinguish one from the other.
As if that hadn’t been graphic enough, Simón had his hands on Ámbar’s hips, guiding her movements down as he thrusted up. What was coming out of Ámbar’s throat were definitely moans.
What came out of Nico’s throat was definitely a panicked shriek.
“OH MY GOD!”
The couple jumped and snapped their heads towards him. In a flash, Ámbar was under the covers while Simón placed a pillow on his lap and screamed at him at the top of his lungs.
“NICO, WHAT THE FUCK?!”
“I’M SORRY—”
“—YOU CAN’T JUST COME INTO—”
“—I’M SO SORRY—”
“—SOMEONE’S BEDROOM LIKE THAT—"
“—PEDRO GAVE ME A KEY—”
“—WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM—”
“—I DIDN’T KNOW, I SWEAR I DIDN’T KNOW—"
“—WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING HEre… Oh my god.”
Suddenly, the fight abandoned Simón and he stared at Nico open-mouthed.
“You’re here. Nico, you’re— NICO!”
Simón stood up and hugged him excitedly before placing his hands on his shoulders.
“Oh my god! When did you arrive?! Why didn’t you tell me anything?! We could’ve gone pick you up at the airport or organize a party for you.” He hugged him again. “God, I’ve missed you so much!”
From the bed, Ámbar cleared her throat pointedly. “For as much as I’m happy for you, could you perhaps have this reunion outside?”
Simón let go of Nico and turned to her. “Of course, my love. Sorry.”
He guided Nico outside the bedroom and closed the door behind them.
“Seriously, what are you doing here? Vacations?”
“Actually, I’m here to stay.”
“Really?!” Simón exclaimed with a grin before his expression turned to confusion. “But wait, I thought you were gonna stay there even if things with Ada didn’t work.”
Nico shrugged. “That was the plan, but then I got an offer for a music deal here in Argentina, so, here I am.”
“That’s so great, I’m so happy for you!” Simón hugged him again. “It’s so great to have you back. I’ve seriously missed you, we’ve all missed you.”
Nico gave him a funny look.
“If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’re very happy to see me,” he said, moving his eyes down and then back at his face.
Simón lost his smile, visibly flustered. He punched Nico in the arm.
“You freaking ill-timed idiot. That’s on you, and you own me big time,” he pointed with his finger.
“Sorry, I didn’t think Ámbar would be here.”
Simón frowned. “Why wouldn’t she be here? We live together.”
Nico blinked.
“You—” Suddenly, every piece fell into place inside his head. “That son of a bitch, he didn’t tell me that! Now I know why Matteo and Ramiro thought it was so funny.”
“Pedro sent you?”
“Yeah. That bastard. He must have known what I’d find.” Nico was mad for haven fallen in his game so innocently. He’d definitely make him pay for it later.
Slowly, Nico’s frown turned into a wicked smirk. “…Who would’ve thought Simoncito would be like that, huh?”
“Don’t start,” Simón said, but Nico definitely wasn’t about to miss the chance to tease him, even if just a little.
“Should I tell her about how you used to talk about her in your sleep?”
“Don’t you dare,” was Simón instant response. “… Although,” he reconsidered, “she probably knows by now.”
“I do!” Came Ámbar’s voice from inside the bedroom.
Simón stepped next to the door and talked back to her.
“Love, if you’re listening, does that mean you’re decent now?”
“Yeah, just a second.”
Some moments later, Ámbar walked out of the bedroom wearing a red plaid shirt that seemed too big for her (probably Simon’s) and a jeans skirt. She had managed to make her hair look straight out of a hair salon while Simón’s still looked like a bird’s nest.
“Nico, hi, so good to have you back,” she greeted him with a smile.
Then she slapped him in the arm. Hard.
“Never walk in again like that or I swear you’re going to regret it, understood?”
Nico gulped under her threatening look and rubbed his poor arm that had received two hits in the last five minutes. “Of course, Ámbar. Sorry.” He looked at Simón. “I see she’s still feisty.”
Simón laughed and passed one arm around Ámbar’s waist. “I wouldn’t have it any other way,” he said and kissed the side of her head.  The way he looked at her and the look she gave him in return somehow seemed more intimate than what he had walked into before.
So that’s what love is supposed to look like, Nico thought with a little ache in his heart. He hoped one day he’d find that with someone.
He cleared his throat and smiled. “Anyway, I just wanted to come by and say hi. I’m gonna go now, but we should totally do something later.”
“Yeah, definitely,” Simón perked up. “Let’s see the details via text, okay?” He walked Nico to the door and gave him a pat on the shoulder. “See you, brother!”
“See you!” Nico said back with a grin. He looked behind Simón. “You too, Ámbar.”
“Until later,” she said with a wave.
Nico turned and heard the door close behind him. He went back outside and decided to head back to his hotel.
On the way there, he tried not to think about whether the couple had continued what they had been doing or not. A part of him would feel bad if they didn’t, but a bigger part of him just wanted to erase the whole notion of his friend having sex out of his brain.
----------------
It was later that day, during an improvised welcome party they threw for him at the Benson mansion, that Nico scolded Pedro for giving him Simón’s and Ámbar’s key without telling him anything.
All Pedro did was stare at him.
“If I have to be traumatized, so do you,” he said.
The dark, life-less look on his friend’s face made Nico wonder just what he had seen.
He decided to never speak about the subject ever again.
...
..
.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In case you were wondering, this was the prompt:  “ What would happen if Nico comes back and he is like "I miss Simón. Where is he?" And Ramiro, Matteo and Pedro just look at each other for three second then turn toward Nico, give him the key of the apartment and tells him the address. So Nico walk in the house and thinks "He must be sleeping" So he walks in the bedroom and he just find Simón and Ámbar half-naked making out, ready to do other things. What happens next is your choice (I'm all for Simón screaming and throwing him out)”

I wrote a drabble or well a short fic I guess to deal with my emotions 'cause I can't go to bed knowing the boys are separated so here it is.
Matteo has been researching transgender topics all afternoon. Some of his questions were answered but many many more have come in their place. He now had a basic knowledge about hormonal therapy and testosterone, binders and something called packers. He also learned there is a lot more transphobia than he ever thought was possible and there are people called terfs but he wasn’t quite sure if that was a slur or if it was an acronym of something. He has learned a lot but with each new information more questions arose and he knew in the end only David could answer them.
He still saw the frightened look on David’s face from that morning. God, he never wanted to see David be so hurt ever again. He never wanted David to look at him with such a painful expression ever again. He took out his phone and opened his WhatsApp chat with David. The last message where David was telling him he wants nothing from him was staring right into his face but he didn’t let that discourage him. He knew now that David was acting out of fear and panic. He started typing:
Could we talk tomorrow?
And hit sent. He didn’t expect David to answer for a while. He knew it always took him some time if he even answered but a few seconds later he got a response.
Yes
For a few seconds he thought whether he should offer for David to come to his apartment or meet him at his but he didn’t want David to feel cornered so in the end, he settled on:
Could we meet at the park like last time? At 2?
And once again got an immediate response:
Ok.
He wanted to see him right away but he knew it’s better to wait otherwise he might say something that would have David run away again and that is the last thing Matteo wanted. He really wanted to stop hurting people around him.
After researching for another few hours, watching various transgender youtubers (he had no idea there’s so many of them out there) he fell asleep.
On Sunday he woke up at 11 with a panic that he missed the date but he still had 3 hours. Why did he agree to meet him so late? He should have said noon. He missed David. So much. Just yesterday he was lying in his bed and now he’s gone again. He hoped he could somehow fix the situation. He hoped David would give him a chance. He didn’t know what he would do if David would break his heart again. But he started to realise that maybe David’s heart was breaking just as much as his in the last 2 weeks. Hopefully, he would know soon.
Matteo spent the next two hours being skittish, as he couldn’t really concentrate on anything. He decided to leave an hour in advance just to be sure he’s there on time.
As the 2 o’clock were nearing Matteo was getting more and more nervous. He didn’t really know what he’s going to say to David. He knew he wants to be with him but he didn’t know what exactly he needed to say to make it a reality. He tried to think of some sort of speech he could give him to make him convince how much he cares for him when he noticed David slowly coming towards him as if every step has taken enormous strength to take. Finally, he reached Matteo.
“Hi” Matteo started.
“Hi” David almost whispered, head down, avoiding Matteo’s eye contact.
They stood there in silence for a few seconds. Matteo didn’t know what to say. How to start. How to make him stay.
He slowly raised his hand, making sure David sees what he’s doing, and caressed David’s cheek, before gently taking his chin and raising his head. David closed his eyes at the initial contact but finally opened them and met Matteo’s eyes. There was so many mixed emotions expressed in them – fear, hope, pain, love. He looked at Matteo and Matteo knew that he’d do absolutely anything for this boy.
“I really like you too.” He said with as much determination and love as he could muster in his small body. He knew it wasn’t probably the best thing he could say at that moment but he had to start somewhere.
“Yeah?” David asked, his voice shaking.
“Yeah. Very much so.” He said, smiling with what he hoped could be seen as reassurance.
“And so…you…don't have a problem with…?” David tried but couldn’t really finish the question.
“I like you,” Matteo repeated. He knew he needs to say something more but to him the answer was simple. He liked David. He wanted to be with him. Everything else they can figure out together. “I want to be with you.”
“Yeah?” asked David for the second time but this time there was a hint of his old confidence.
“Mmhm.” Matteo simply replied.
They stood there like this for a while, staring into each other's eyes, smiles slowly spreading on both of their faces, Matteo softly stroking David’s cheek, while David’s hand found its way to rest on Matteo’s hip. After a few minutes, David has raised his chin a little higher, leaned in and closed his eyes in a silent request for a kiss and Matteo more than happily obliged. He got his boy back and he’s not gonna let him run away anymore.

[ONE SHOT] Matteo Florenzi x  Original Character
Summary: Leon is too impatient to wait till they get home, so he decides to fuck Matteo in an alley.
Tumblr media
(Indecent) Exposure
Matteo was pointedly avoiding looking at Leon’s face. He knew that, if he were to look, the pout and puppy dog eyes would be enough to get him to say yes.
Leon hadn’t exactly asked the question yet, but Matteo knew what he wanted. He knew it as soon as they exited the club and began walking down the sidewalk, Leon clinging onto his arm and nuzzling his face into his neck a clear indication of what the older man wanted.
It was the same every time; Leon giving Matteo a look, tilting his head in the direction of a restaurant bathroom or an empty park at night or even at a ferris wheel during a summer festival (now that had been an interesting day.)
And without fail, Matteo always found himself agreeing, letting Leon drag him wherever he desired and have his way with him. Of course, it was worth it all in the end, even if Matteo spent most of the time getting his dick sucked panicking over every small noise, praying that no one would discover them getting each other off in public.
“Matteo,” whined Leon against the side of his neck. “Matteo, please.”
It was so fucking hard to say no to his boyfriend, especially when Matteo had been drooling over him all night, Leon having dressed up for a night out, donned in silver jewelry and tight leather pants and a crop top that exposed the turquoise belly button ring that Leon knew Matteo was weak for.
He felt like Leon knew him almost too well, knew exactly which buttons to push to get Matteo to do as he desired. The way he was currently draped over him, the smell of his flowery perfume intoxicating in the night air, the way he placed a little wet kiss over Matteo’s pulse point…
He really couldn’t say no.
“You can’t wait till we get home?” Matteo asked with a clenched jaw.
“You know I can’t, baby,” Leon murmured against his skin. He nibbled a bit on his earlobe and Matteo nearly tripped and fell.
One foot in front of the other, Matteo, don’t let him distract you. You’re almost home.
“It’s too cold, Leon,” argued Matteo.
“I’ll keep you warm,” Leon retorted immediately, and Matteo heard the smirk in his voice.
Okay so maybe he walked right into that one. But it was so damn hard to focus, now that Leon’s little fingers were toying with the end of Matteo’s shirt, the cold appendages brushing his suddenly too warm skin teasingly.
“We’ll be quick, I promise.”
A fire burst to life in Matteo’s gut as he remembered all the other times Leon fucked him in public. Just how quick and dirty Leon could be when he wanted to, pounding into Matteo and whispering filthy words into his ear just to get them both off fast enough to avoid being caught. He had to admit, there was something so good about having sex in public, something that made every touch and every kiss more exciting.
Matteo felt Leon’s hand touch his cheek, angling his head to the side he would look at him.
Leon’s gaze just made the fire in his belly burn hotter, with the heated look in his eyes and the way he chewed on his bottom lip in anticipation for Matteo’s response. He was just too beautiful to say no to and so Matteo found himself nodding with a whispered, “You owe me an ass eating when we get home.”
Letting out a loud laugh, Leon reassured him that he would definitely eat him out as soon as they got home, his hand wrapping around Matteo’s wrist to drag him into an alley that stemmed off from the sidewalk.
Matteo wrinkled his nose at Leon’s choice of location. “Babe, really?”
Leon shrugged and took a look around them. The alley was dimly lit by a distant street lamp, so they were easily obscured from the view of anyone who happened to be passing by. The shadows of the buildings were long, stretching over the both of them. So unless there was a homeless person somewhere in the alley, no one would no what they were doing.
And if Matteo managed to keep quiet, although he’d struggled with keeping his voice down in the past.
As Matteo was grimacing at the sight of an overflowing dumpster to his right, Leon sidled up in front of him, placing firm hands on his hips.
“Kiss me?” Leon asked, sticking out his lower lip in invitation.
As if Matteo would say no.
He captured Leon’s lip in a kiss, sighing against his mouth at the feeling of his boyfriend’s lips on his. The kiss was a little messy, Leon’s tongue making its way into Matteo’s mouth almost immediately, his hand coming up to Matteo’s neck to pull him closer.
Leon always became overeager when they were doing this in public, and it worked well with that fact that Matteo was easy to rile up. Soon enough he was whining into Leon’s kisses, sucking on his lower lip hard, just so he could soak in the taste of Leon’s cherry lip gloss.
“Relax, baby,” said Leon with a breathy laugh when Matteo began tugging on his shirt impatiently.
He still indulged him, though, canting his knee up a bit so Matteo could thrust against his thigh. Leon giggled again when Matteo choked on a moan at the feeling of sudden friction on his rapidly hardening cock.
Leon began sucking a mark into the side of Matteo’s neck as his hand came down to palm Matteo through his jeans. A jolt went rushing through Matteo’s body and he folded over Leon, letting him hold him up as little sparks of pleasure took over him.
“Feel good?” Leon asked, emphasizing the question with a hard squeeze around his clothed dick.
Matteo shoved his fist against his mouth, biting down on his finger to muffle the moans that rose to his lips. He just nodded violently, letting Leon place a few more hickies along the skin of his throat until he began begging for more, thrusting his hips forward.
“Okay, hurry up, Leon, please,” Matteo whispered. He couldn’t help but glance towards the entrance to the alley, almost expecting a person to be standing there watching them.
“Focus on me,” Leon demanded and Matteo turned to meet Leon’s gaze. His blue eyes seemed to glint in the darkness and shiver went up Matteo’s spine at the look of pure arousal in Leon’s eyes.
“Turn around and place your hands on the wall,” said Leon. “And make sure to be quiet, love.”
Matteo turned, placing his hands and forearms against the brick wall. Leon tugged his shirt up and began unbuckling his jeans, pushing him forward a bit until Matteo’s stomach was touching the building and his ass sticking out.
He hissed in a breath as cold brick met warm skin, and Leon just chuckled at his reaction.
“Do you even have lube?” Matteo asked. He already knew the answer and Leon didn’t even bother to respond before he was tugging Matteo’s jeans down to his thighs and rubbing a lubed up finger against his rim.
“Cold,” Matteo complained, but stuck his ass out further as Leon slipped a finger inside of him.
Leon began fingering him quickly and without any further teasing. Matteo bit down on his lower lip to keeps the sounds he was making to a minimum, but by the time Leon had three fingers inside of him he was whining loudly. He felt hot and sweaty, the cool night air brushing over his dampening skin and making goosebumps stand out along his arms and thighs. He was periodically canting his hips back to meet the thrusts of Leon’s fingers, and letting out high moans whenever his prostate was brushed.
“Fuck, you always look so good like this,” Leon murmured. He pushed his fingers in one more time, hard against Matteo’s prostate and Matteo nearly came right then.
Leon slowly eased his fingers out of him, leaving Matteo clenching around air. He hated being empty once something had been inside him, and he found himself begging in hasty whispers for Leon to hurry.
He heard Leon cursing to himself, the sound of a zipper piercing the quiet of the alley, and then the tip of Leon’s cock pressed against Matteo’s entrance.
This was always the scary part of fucking public, knowing that if someone were to stumble upon them right then, there would be no hiding what they were doing. Their pants down and Leon’s cock in Matteo’s ass…no, they couldn’t hide that.
Which was why Leon set off at a rough pace right from the start.
His fingers pressed inevitable bruises in Matteo’s hips as he pistoned in and out of his body. Matteo felt his limbs go numb, letting the wall and Leon’s hands keep him upright as all the strength left his body. After being together for so long, Leon knew exactly where to thrust, knew how to find Matteo’s prostate immediately and pound into it over and over again.
Leon was murmuring into Matteo’s ear in between the kisses and bites he placed over the exposed skin of his shoulder and neck. Calling him his good boy, reminding him to be quiet, degrading him and praising him all at once. Matteo could barely understand what he was saying, only chanting Leon’s name like a mantra in response.
He was close already, his cock throbbing between his legs, and he knew he could come untouched. Nonetheless, one of Leon’s hands released his hip and snaked around his waist to grasp his cock in his hand.
As he began stroking him, still maintaining the fast pace in and out of him, Matteo felt his orgasm rising in his abdomen, could taste it on his tongue. Just a little bit more and-
And then Leon stopped abruptly.
Hazily, barely understanding what was going on, Matteo reached behind him to swat at Leon’s hip. “Why-”
Leon hushed him quickly, bringing his hand that had been around Matteo’s cock up to his mouth to cover it. His fingers brushed over Matteo’s lips and impulsively, Matteo’s tongue darted out. He could taste the salt of Leon’s sweat and the tang of his own precum and he had to hold back a moan as he peaked at the entrance to the alley.
A group of people were standing there, laughing and talking, with apparently no idea what was going on a mere fifteen feet away from them. Matteo’s heart jumped into his throat at the same time another wave of arousal washed over him, causing him to clench around Leon’s cock.
He felt Leon freeze for a moment, and then he was leaning down to whisper, “This turns you on, doesn’t it?”
Matteo felt shame and embarrassment rush through his body, followed by a quick pulse of his cock and another squeeze around Leon’s cock that gave the older man his answer.
And then Leon began moving again, silently and slowly, a stark contrast to the brutal pace from before. Matteo whined softly, ready to tell Leon to stop, but as soon as Leon’s hand began stroking his cock again, all embarrassment and fear went right out the window.
Matteo clenched his eyes closed and turned back towards the wall, focusing on his own breathing and trying to stay focused so he wouldn’t make any loud noises. He could still hear the people talking, so close to them. If one of them were to turn, let their eyes adjust to the darkness, they would be able to see them. Would be able to see Matteo getting dicked down by his boyfriend in an alley.
It was this thought that pushed Matteo over the edge, paired with the slow grind of Leon’s cock right against his prostate, his thumb digging into the slit of his dick. His orgasm crashed through him, causing him to see stars as he bit down on the back of his hand to hide his scream at the sudden release.
As he was coming down, he realized that Leon came right after him, could feel the sticky warmth inside of him. He slumped against the wall when Leon pulled out, allowing his boyfriend to kiss all over the back of his neck and murmur praises against his skin.
“Did so good, baby,” said Leon as he began tugging Matteo’s jeans up. “No one saw, did so well for me.”
Matteo mumbled a reply, fucked out and feeling wobbly. His ass was already starting to hurt and Leon’s cum was dripping out of his hole and into his boxers. And this was precisely why he would rather have his boyfriend fuck him into a mattress rather than up against a brick wall in an alley.
But. He had to admit that was the strongest orgasm he’s had in a long time.
Matteo glanced back to where the people had been to see that they had left. He wasn’t quite sure if he had been quiet enough, but right then he didn’t really care. He just wanted to get home, take a long bath, and get in bed.
“You’re eating my ass when we get home,” said Matteo as he limped out onto the sidewalk, Leon’s arm wrapped tightly around his waist.
Leon laughed and kissed Matteo’s neck. “Love you, Mister Florenzi.”
Matteo only grunted in response, but he knew that Leon knew he loved him too.
And when they got home, Leon made sure to treat Matteo tenderly, thanking him for a great night, and ate Matteo’s ass like he deserved.

In Our Dreams
yay, it’s finally here. The final chapter of In Our Dreams. This took me a lot of work but I made it and I’m happy about how this turned out. It’s also a lot longer than the other chapters because I needed to close it properly but I didn’t want to split it up in two parts.
I just wanted to say thank you for reading and following this story. It means a lot to me and I had a lot of fun writing it.
I also wanted to say that I won’t write any other multichapters. I feel like it will take a lot of time and the fandom is slowly dying so it would be useless to me to spend so much time on multichapters. Don’t worry, I’m not done writing yet, I still have some amazing one shots in my drafts.
According to the universe, soulmates see each other in their dreams until they meet each other in real life. So every time we go to sleep. You will find your soulmate waiting there for you.

chapter 10: Finding My Home
other chapters | find my other fics here
Luna has been restless ever since she got back to Mexico. She found it hard to fall asleep. Nothing seemed the same anymore, yet it was but something was missing and she was painfully aware of what it was. Luna hadn't had a dream with Matteo ever since they met in real life and she didn't mind until now. They have been calling and texting each other but it wasn't the same as standing face to face and being able to touch each other.
Luna decided to go out skating for a while, it always makes her feel a little bit better. She went skating next to the beach as usual. It had been like a routine for her. But what she didn't know is that this time was going to be different for her.
She was near the docks and skated on full speed. For a second, she didn't look where she was going. All of a sudden, she felt someone crashing into her and she was about to say something about it but then she saw who the guy was that she crashed into. She couldn't believe her eyes when she noticed who was standing in front of her with a big smirk on his face. It was Matteo.
She couldn't hide the smile that started to appear on her face. She was speechless so she decided to go in for a hug. They hugged each other tightly, it was like they were holding onto each other like they were holding onto their last breath.
Matteo's breathing was heavy. He tried to enjoy every minute of this moment. He has never been so happy to crash into someone. "Luna, there you are." he said.
Luna still couldn't find the words to say so all she did was look at him with a smile from ear to ear.
When it was clear to Matteo that Luna was too flustered to say anything, he went on to say: "I missed you so much that I booked a flight straight to Cancún as soon as I could."
"You're really here." she was finally able to say something.
It was his turn to smile: "Yes, I'm here."
Luna flew in his arms again. Matteo lifted her up easily and they turned around and around. It was a very happy reunion for both of them.
When he put her down, he held his hands on her waist and he looked into her eyes with such intensity before he leaned down to kiss her.  Their kiss was intense and desperate. It was obvious they missed each other. They didn't want to let go of each other. Eventually they did so they could breathe.
After they seperated, he still held her in his arms, he held her so tight she almost couldn't breathe but she didn't care. They were in each other's arms and Matteo rested his chin on her hair while she took in his smell, something she missed very much.
She found it hard to let go but she had to ask him: "How long are you staying?"
Matteo's face turned into a sad look: "Only two days."
Luna's face fell as well but tried to look at it on the positive side: "Let's make the most out of it then." and they did. They spent every minute he was in Mexico together. They haven't been this happy in a while.  Everyone around them noticed that they weren't happy while they were seperated. Their friends did everything to try and cheer them up but nothing seemed to work.  It still amazed Matteo how much they started meaning to each other in the short time they've known each other.
When it was time for him to leave, Luna accompanied him to the airport. No matter what they did, they didn't let go of each other for even a second. They were either holding hands or his arm was around her shoulder or they were hugging.
Luna didn't leave his side until it was time to board. They shared their last kiss for now. "Promise me you'll call as soon as you land." she said in an almost begging voice.
"I promise I will." he gave her a last peck on her lips and left to board the plane. She stared after him until he was out of sight. Tears were silently streaming down her face. It was always hard to say goodbye. It was probably one of the hardest things she had to do. Now, all she could do was hope to see him soon. But for now, she had to settle with face timing, calls and texts.
Luna didn't feel like skating after Matteo left so she decided to stay in the mansion and watch a movie to try and distract herself. When the movie was over, she heard her phone ring and it was the long expected call she had hoped for.
"Matteo, hi." she said over the phone.
"Hey, Luna, I just landed in Buenos Aires and I already miss you."
"I miss you too." her voice seemed to break a little. "I love you so much, chico fresa."
"I love you more." his sadness over the situation clearly heard in his voice.
For the rest of the call, they talked about everything they did in the days he visited her and didn't hang up until his phone was dead. They called for hours.
The next day, Matteo went to Roller to see his friends but he couldn't force himself to put a smile on his face. These past two days have been the best but it wasn't enough for him. It's been so hard to have her at a distance. He loved her so much that it was hard not to be able to hug her and hold her in his arms every day. He didn't know if he could do this for any longer but he didn't seem to have a choice.
Gastón approached him as soon as he walked into the cafeteria. Matteo didn't notice him until his best friend called his name. "Matteo, are you on the moon again?"
He looked up to Gastón and answered with a tiny smile: "Where else would I be?" the joke didn't make it any better for him though.
Gastón couldn't help but laughing a little. "You really miss her, don't you?" his voice got serious now.
"Yeah and I'm not sure if I can be apart from her any longer." he sighed and continued, "It's so hard, you know? The days I spent with her were great and I want it to be like that every day but that's not possible." He sat down on the nearest chair, defeated by the pain he feels of not being with the girl he loves.
"Is there no way you can be together?" Gastón asked in all seriousness.
"I've thought of so many ways but none of them are possible." he sighed again.
Gastón asked himself out loud: "What would happen if Luna's parents didn't work for Sharon?"
This gave Matteo an idea. "You're onto something here."
"What do you mean?" he asked confused.
"What if her parents didn't work for Sharon but for someone else, someone who lives in Buenos Aires?" he raised his eyebrow suggestively.
Gastón was more confused than ever and Matteo noticed.
"My mom just opened a restaurant here and is looking for a chef and someone who can help her with the staff. Her parents would be perfect for it?" a bright smile appeared on his face, he finally had hope again.
"But where are they going to live?" his best friend asked.
"They could stay in our guest house." he suggested. He got excited. "I have to tell Luna."
"Maybe you need to talk to your mom first."
"You're right, I'll call her right away." with this, he went to the lockers for a quite place to make the call.
After insisting a lot, his mom agreed to it and he immediately texted Luna to tell her the good news.
M: I found a solution to our distance issue :-)
L: Really? What is it?
M: You'll find out soon ;-)
L: Why can't you tell me?
M: It's not up to me to say
With a big smile on his face, he headed home to see if his mom already made the call. Apparently she did and she told him they were going to think about her offer.
As soon as he heard this, he called Luna.
"Matteo?" Luna picked up the phone.
"I heard your parents had a job offer." his smirk was shown perfectly when they were face timing.
"I knew you were behind this." she commented with a smile.
"Doesn't it sound amazing? You coming back to Buenos Aires. We could see each other every day in Roller again. You living near me." he listed all the advantages of them taking the offer to try and persuade her a little.
"It does but I'm not sure Sharon is going to like it." she admitted.
"My mom could talk to her to set the record straight." he suggested.
"She doesn't have to. My parents just need some time to think about it."
"Sure, I understand but I do hope they'll take the offer. I miss you so much." he admitted.
"I miss you too and it would be amazing to be back again." she smiled while thinking of being able to be in his arms again. "I have to go now, we'll talk later, okay? I love you."
"I love you too." he blew a kiss at her before she hung up.
Matteo hasn't heard anything from Luna since a couple of days ago and he started to get worried. He had no idea what happened. His mom hasn't said anything about the answer of the Valentes either. He was getting scared that they didn't want to take the offer and that Luna no longer wanted to be with him.
He tried to call her several times but she didn't answer. He didn't know what to think about this and the worries kept haunting him until one day, his mom wanted to tell him something important. She said this right before they entered their house.
To his surprise, there were lots of bags in the big hall and he had never seen them before so he asked: "Whose are these?"
His mom gave him a heartwarming smile: "Why don't you have a look in the garden?" she carefully lead him to the backyard.
He couldn't believe his eyes once he got outside. On the porch, he saw Luna talking to his dad. She seemed very happy and comfortable talking to him. Matteo, on the other hand, froze on his place. So many emotions went through him when she stood there looking so beautiful. It had felt like his breath was taken away from him. He was so happy to see her standing there in real life and it was better than every dream they ever had together or when they saw each other for the first time in real life.
Luna didn't notice him until his father left to take care of some business, he was still frozen when he saw her smile. It was even more beautiful than he remembered. While Matteo was too flabbergasted, Luna ran towards him to hug him. He got out of his frozen state right in time to catch her in his arms and hold her tight in his arms, he was so happy to be able to hug her that he lifted her her from the ground. Luna giggled in response to this.
Their hug seemed to last forever but he eventually put her down. She pouted because she didn't want it to be over but Matteo had something better in mind. Luna could tell as well when she saw the smirk slowly appearing on his face.
He intertwined her fingers with his and looked for a quiet place. Luckily for them, no one was in the guest house. He brought her over to the couch and stopped in front of it. He turned around to face her and leaned in just as she did. In no time, their lips were touching. At first, it was a slow and careful kiss, like they were checking if this was really happening. Later, their kiss got deeper and more passionate. They were caught up in each other, nothing else mattered to them. It was just him and her on cloud 9. Even though, they never wanted to stop kissing, they did to get some air.
To rest, he sat on the couch and Luna followed him as their fingers were still intertwined. He eventually let go of her hand to put an arm around her shoulder and pull her close as he could. He wanted to use every second to be with her, to hold her in his arms.
"You have no idea how happy I am to have found you in my backyard." he whispered into her ear.
Luna got chills when he heard his voice so close to her ear, his whispering always made her feel a bit weak. Luckily, she was sitting down or else she probably would have fallen through her knees. "I can imagine." she softly answered.
He gave a kiss on her hair gently in response to this. "I was so worried when you didn't call me back." he admitted after a minute of silence.
"I wanted to surprise you." she said as she rested her head on his shoulder.
"Well, you certainly succeeded." he rested his chin on her head now.
"Good." she commented with a content smile on her face.
"I'm really happy your parents accepted the offer. We should celebrate." he suggested.
"How?" she looked up to look into his eyes.
Matteo had a look of mischief on his face and Luna raised her eyebrows in confusion. He put a hand on her cheek and pulled her closer, she closed her eyes immediately after because she knew what was about to happen. They locked lips, this time they went straight to an intense kiss. They haven't kissed like this in a long time and Matteo was happy to be able to do this again.
He pulled her onto his lab to have better access to her lips. One of Luna's hands was around his neck and the other one was playing with his hair. She didn't hold back in the kiss, neither did he. Their kissing slowly turned into making out. His hands were on her waist, his thumb was playfully touching the bare skin under her shirt. He drew circles with it.
They've been making out for a long time now but Luna got back to reality and she pulled away from him. She bit her lip slightly to stop herself from kissing him again. "What's going on?" he didn't know what was going on with her and he was worried.
"We shouldn't do this with your parents so close." she said while still having her hands on his chest.
As much as he hated to admit it, she was right. If his parents found them like this, they would ask a million of questions and he didn't want that to happen. "You're right."
She stood up from his lap and sat back down next to him. She started to feel all the exhaustion from the travelling  so she decided to lie down and rest her head on his lap. Just a few moments after this, her eyes closed and she fell asleep pretty quickly. Matteo watched her sleep and she was so beautiful and peaceful in this state and he loved her even more now, if that was even possible.
When he felt that he was getting tired as well, he carefully lifted her head and let it rest on a pillow instead of his lap so he could lie down next to her. He had to pull a few maneuvers to do so since the couch wasn't that big. Somehow, he succeeded and he took the blanker that was draped on the back of the couch and he laid it down on both of them. They were both lying on their sides as they soon realized there was no room to lie any other way. He rested his head on another pillow and wrapped his arm around her waist. It has become an automatic reflex to him by now and they both didn't mind.
Soon, he fell asleep as well. When he closed his eyes, he saw the rink in front of him. He didn't really know what was going on but he had a familiar feeling inside of him. He tried to remember where he recognized this from and then he realized he had the same feeling when he had his dreams with Luna. He didn't know how it happened because he hasn't had this dreams since he met Luna in real life.
From out of the shadows, Luna appeared in front of him and asked: "Matteo?"
He was looking for the source of this sound but couldn't find it at first. When he skated onto the rink, Luna was suddenly standing right in front of him. "Luna!" he exclaimed.
"What's happening?" she was just as confused as he was.
"I'm not sure but we might as well make the most of the time we have here." he held out his hand to take her skating and she took it rather fast.
They were doing all kinds of tricks together, it felt like they were in real life but they weren't. They didn't care though. They've been apart for so long that they tried to spend every minute possible together to make up for lost time.
Matteo didn't want to look for an explanation for this dream because he was certain he would probably never find a proper answer. What he did know is that they were together and happier than ever. Nothing could ever seperate them again. They had all the time in the world and beyond now, that's all that mattered. But deep down he knew they still had these dreams because they had such a strong connection, they could find each other anywhere, no matter of it was a dream or the real world.
He loves her so much that it amazes him just how much you can love a person. He was sure that he would fall in love with her more and more every day and he had nothing against that. Nothing could pull them apart now, their relationship was stronger than ever and it makes him feel at home. No matter where he goes, his home is with her just as her home was with him.

i got a taste of love in a simple way
AAAH, I KNOW IM LATE AND IM SO SORRY.
Life as a sister-mom is quite difficult, you know? it’s been busy busy busy! and i’ve also had some bad days but,,,, i’m here and day four is queued for later today, alright? it’s double fic day (maybe tripple if i can finish day five in time but i doubt it tbh) and i hope you enjoy!
Not even close to be proofread but i do wanna thank my fave cupcake @ac-ars for supporting this when i doubted xD
(there’s a little loophole here that will be answered in day 7, the continuation of this date)
DAY THREE: “When i was told i was going to a blind date, i never thought it’d be you”
“So, what you’re saying is that you set me up with someone who a) you’ve never even met, and b) could be the evil incarnated?”
Simón couldn’t believe his friends. He’d heard (and been part) of many stupid ideas the past five years they’ve been a band, but this was just pure insanity from then. Who even cared if he had a date for the charity-thingy their record label was throwing, anyway? Absolutely no-one.
Except his so-called-friends.
“Hey, hey, hey. I never said she was the evil incarnated, okay?” Pedro tried to calm him down, turning away from the eggs he was frying on the stove for a minute, “Delfi’s friend is complicated. Maybe a little mean and full of herself, but not evil.”
Simón was having none of it, “if I wanted to go with someone complicated, I would have asked Daniela to go with me.”
“Now, she is the evil incarnated,” Nico, who was seating beside him, butted in, his mouth half-full from the toast Pedro had made for them; Simón flipped him off for that, “what? I’m just vocalizing what everyone was thinking.” The blond defended himself, taking another bite of the toast, not really caring about the topic at hand.
“I could have asked Luna or Yam, maybe even Nina,” he told them, still frustrated with the situation. “You didn’t have to set me up with a stranger.”
“You’re talking as if I had chosen a girl from the street and asked her to go with you,” the drummer turned the stove off and went to sit with them, eggs and toast on his plate, “Delfi knows her, and I trust her judgment.”
“Are we talking about the same girl who lied about being another person to be with Gastón?” now it was Pedro’s turn to flip Nico off. He waved him off, and turned to their guitarist, “Luna and Yam are on their mid-terms, they couldn’t come. And the event does require for you to skate for at least an hour; would you really torture Nina that way?”
They all knew the answer to that.
“I still don’t think this was a good idea.”
Pedro gulped down his bite before shrugging, “it’s only for a couple of hours, and who knows? Maybe you two hit it off and end up liking each other.”
They were quiet for a couple of minutes, each one of them too focused on eating before the rehearsals for their incoming tour started, before Simón finally accepted defeat.
“I hate you both, root in hell.”
He threw them a piece of bread on their heads, missing epically on hitting them, making his friends laugh at his childish antics.
Fast forward to a couple of days, he was still not in for it. If this charity event weren’t so important to him and the hundreds of kids who he’d be helping get an education he’d cancel in a heartbeat.
But now, with less than an hour until he left with Pedro to get the girls, he just couldn’t back off and be a coward. He’d spent the last ten minutes trying to get rid of the nerves by face-timing his best friend since their diaper days, but she was having none of his sentiments on the subject.
“You’re being very dramatic about this, Simón,” she said, trying to hold in her laughter when she saw him angrily combing his hair.
“Whose side are you on, dude?” he asked, dropping his comb on the bed; not looking back where it’d fell when a thud resonated on his room.
“Yours, of course,” Luna rolled her eyes, “which is why I’m telling you to go with an open mind and have fun.”
Simón recognized the change in her voice almost immediately. “You know something I don’t.” He stared at the face displayed on his tablet, searching for something to confirm what he already knew.
She smiled sheepishly, “I was the one who convinced Pedro to set you guys up,” when she saw his expression hardening, she was quick to explain, “I’ve met her before, Simón. She’s not bad, and I’m 1,000,000% sure you’ll like her; I would have never supported Delfi on this if I wasn’t.”
He was quiet for a minute. A part of him wanted to be mad, but he couldn’t really stay angry for long with anyone, much less his best friend. She knew him better than anyone else, and if she said it’d be okay, he’d trust her word.
“Fine,” Simón sighed, “who is she anyway? Where did you meet her?”
Luna froze for a second. He wasn’t sure if it was his connection failing on him, or her own body freezing in shock, “I, uh, went to school with her.” Her voice got a hint of nervousness, and Simón got suspicious. Luna didn’t lie to him, ever, so he was sure she was twisting the truth.
“What’s her name, again? None of you’ve told me.” He could see her struggling to find an answer.
“Uh, what was that? I, uh, can’t hear you anymore. And, um, Matteo is calling me so, bye?” The screen turning black let him know she’d hung up on him. Hung up.
Simón was about to call her again to ask for an explanation when someone knocked on his bedroom’s door. Pedro came in, cellphone in hand, and said, “the girls are ready, we’re leaving in five; hurry up, champ.”
His bandmate left before he could ask for the girl’s name.
The whole ride to Delfi’s was spent with Pedro singing as loudly as he could so Simón wouldn’t be able to question him.
He’d turn up the volume all the way until his eardrums were vibrating, turning it down a little when his head started aching. Simón tried to gain his attention multiple times, on red lights and when a song ended and before another started, but Pedro always seemed to figure out what he was planning and changed the subject; saying stuff like “this is my favorite song!” four times in a row.
When they finally parked outside of Delfi’s building; his friend tried to sneak away as fast as possible, running to the entrance and to elevator, shouting a quick hello to the caretaker of the building.
“Does this idiot not know I don’t know where his girlfriend lives?” weren’t he so confused, he’d be amused at the way Pedro made everything seem ridiculous. The caretaker stood up from his seat by the counter, and smiled at him.
“Mr. Arias does the same thing every time, sir.” He confined, writing on the visitors’ book Pedro’s name, “I think miss Delfina gets annoyed when he’s late.”
Simón had to smile back, “he’s just whipped, mister,” he read the tag on the man’s chest, “Lozano.”
“Love is a funny thing, son.” The old man’s smile got bigger, “it brings out emotions you didn’t know you had, and makes you do stuff you were sure you’d never do.”
He wasn’t sure how to answer that. He loved multiple people in his life, had been sure he was in love with Luna and Daniela at some point, only to find out later he wasn’t at all.
Growing up he’d fantasize about finding his one true love. Someone who’d make him smile at the mere thought of her face, of long nights on the phone and conversations who’d never bore him. As time passed he realized those were fantasies only, and loving someone not always meant being in love with them.
At this part in his life, he still dreamt of love (because he was the sappiest bastard ever) but he now knew searching for it was just pointless. Love finding you in the less expected times and all.
The sound of the elevator arriving the ground floor distracted him. Out came a couple of people he didn’t know first, followed by Pedro and Delfi holding hands. His friend looked embarrassed when he saw him waiting alone in the lobby, the bag with Delfi’s skates hanging loosely on his shoulder; his girl reprimanded him for leaving him behind.
“Sorry, man.” Pedro apologized as soon as he was in front of him, palming him back lightly. Delfi shook her head, still surprised her boyfriend had ditched him in the lobby.
He shrugged his apology off, before finally looking behind the couple to see his oh, so secret blind date. He was stunned when he recognized the prettiest blue eyes and wavy blonde hair.
Standing there was Ámbar Smith, Luna’s aunt’s goddaughter and the girl he’d crushed the biggest in his life.
Memories of both at the mansion that used to be Luna’s home came to his mind. They hadn’t liked each other at first, her being too closed and unreachable for him to get know her better; and he “too goody two shoes” to be considered cool for her. Then, somehow, they were alone and she wasn’t as unreachable, and he wasn’t lame, and they were just what the other needed.
That was the day he knew he’d been crushing on her for months without knowing.
But that was also the last time he’d seen her. Until tonight.
“Ámbar.” Her name came out breathless, too shocked to speak properly. Her lips curved the slightest bit at this.
“I see you remember me,” her voice had changed. A little more mature, less full of herself and no trace of superiority.
He didn’t notice when Pedro and Delfi had gotten out of his way until he started walking towards her, “that’s impossible, you know it.”
Ámbar flipped her hair, and he was surprised to see she’d grown it out a couple of centimeters below her shoulders. “Always the charmer, Simón Álvarez.”
“I never thought it’d be you,” he said more to himself than to her, scanning her face; trying to convince his brain he wasn’t dreaming, “when I was told I was going to a blind date, I never thought it’d be you. Not after all these years.”
Her frown told him he’d say something wrong, “are you disappointed?” the question threw him off, and his tardiness to deny it made her tense, “I only agreed because Luna wouldn’t shut up. You can blame her for this.”
Simón blinked a couple of times when he heard her. Of course.
Luna knew he had the biggest crush on Ámbar the moment he saw him mopping the days that followed her departure. She knew she’d gotten back in town, saw the opportunity and set him up with her. Her words resonated in his mind; “I’m sure you’ll like her.”
“No,” he denied, looking straight into her eyes, “I got to thank her, because I’m not disappointed at all.”
The weight of his look made her fidgety, not sure how to respond to his words. Delfi called for them, hurrying them to get to the car or they all would be late.
Ámbar cleared her throat, straightening her spine to get rid of the nervousness. Simón took the bag with her skates gently from her, and offered his arm to her.
“Shall we?”

You kicked my ass the second you saw me, you would kick the entire world's ass eventually
Day 3: I'm your roommate's friend and I have a extra key to your apartment but clearly my friend did it tell you about that And now I'm pinned against te wall because you think I'm a murderer and holy shit where do you take martial arts?
Ambar's life was always the same, full of luxuries and money, she was supposed to go to Harvard and study international business so she would be able to run her family's company, but after one semester she realized that all of that wasn't right for her, that perfect world and that image of perfect girl only were making her miserable, so one day she just drop out business uni and started to study fashion design, and like her family didn't approved it, she had to go to live by herself, thank god she found in her class a cute and very nice girl called Luna that was looking for a roommate.
Ambar saw the flat and fell in love immediately, small and classy, and the most important now that she didn't have her family's money, cheap, so she moved with Luna, it was great, with all her savings she payed 3 month until she could find a job and keep paying her, and Luna didn't even stay in the house much time, she spend many nights at her boyfriend's and Ambar really liked having the flat almost just for herself. Just a week passed since she moved with her and Ambar already felt like home.
One night she was in bed already, it was 11 pm but she was still awake checking her social media when the sound of the door brought her attention, Luna never came back that late, but maybe she fought with her boyfriend so Ambar went downstairs to check if was her, but couldn't saw nothing because all the lights were off, but she did hear a male voice and she was almost sure that wasn't Luna's boyfriend voice, he had a very notable Italian accent.
-Yes, I just got here... No, I think Luna is with Matteo... Because all the lights are off and Luna let always one light on at least l... Yes, I'll call you tomorrow... okay, bye -The second he hang up he could felt how someone took him from behind and pinned him up against the wall, holding his arms in a way he couldn't even move
-WHO ARE YOU? WHAT DO YOU WANT? -Ambar demanded holding the guy with all her strength
-He..hey who are you? Can you please let me go? You are hurting me... -The guy managed to say with his face against the wall
-I'm not letting you go, I'm going to call the police, I bet you thought that Luna for live alone would be a easy target to rob or do something worst, well guess what, she is not alone -Ambar said pressing him harder
-Hey I think you misunderstood me, I'm not going to do nothing to Luna, I'm his best friend
-I don't believe you, Luna would told me something about you
-Do you really know Luna? Her head is always in the space, she didn't even tell me she found a roommate who can kick my ass -The guy said and made Ambar realize that Luna was indeed quite clueless -Look, let me go and I'll explain you
-I'll let you explain yourself but I'm not letting you go until I can trust you -Ambar said without loosen up
-Okay, I'm Simón, Luna's best friend from Mexico, I have an extra key because I always stay here when I'm in Argentina for work but clearly she didn't tell you, and damn where did you learn martial arts? I could use some classes -Simon said and that made Ambar giggled a little, Luna did tell her about a best friend in Mexico but never talked more about it -You can call Luna and ask her if you want, I won't try to do you anything, I know you would kick my ass if I try -Simon said laughing and Ambar let him go
-Yeah, I'm going to call her, but don't you dare to move -Ambar said treating him
-No thanks, I appreciate my life -He said showing his hands and smiling and Ambar couldn't help but let out a little giggle -Hey look take my phone, I told her I would call her when I get here -He said handing Ambar his phone, Luna was on his favorites contacts, so maybe he was telling the truth after all, but Ambar needed to hear it from Luna, after the second ring she answered
-Hey Simón, did you arrive already? -Ambar could recognize Luna's voice so she put the call in speaker
-Yes, he is here, and I think you forgot to tell me about it -Ambar said to Luna trying not to sound mad, she wasn't, Ambar knew Luna was quite distracted
-Oh dear god, I knew I was forgetting something, I'm so sorry Ambar, hope you don't mind he stays there a few time while he is in te country -Luna rushed to say
-No, is not a problem, but next time when a guy is arriving here at the middle of the night I would like to know so I don't get scared the hell out -Ambar said in a joking tone
-Yes, I will, I promise, hope you didn't get a lot scared -Luna said and Ambar could noticed her worried tone
-The guy who dares to enter here and try to do something would be more scared, I can assure that -Simon said laughing
-What? -Luna asked confused and Simon and Ambar both laugh accomplices
-Nothing, your friend just got a humor -Ambar said laughing -I'll let you go back to your things now
-Okay, I'll see you tomorrow, maybe we can all go out for lunch
-Yes, sounds nice, I'll go unpack and we'll talk tomorrow okay, sleep well, say hi to Matteo -Simon said and ended the call -See, not a delinquent
-Yes, I see, I'll try to not attack you from now - Ambar said and both laughed- But I'm really sorry if I hurt you, is just living alone is so new for me, and was like really nervous
-Don't worry, I'm a tough guy, but you got some moves, I could use some -He said joking and Ambar laughed
-Whenever you want -She said smiling but then she remember the hour-I'll probably should go upstairs now, let you rest, you should be exhausted -Ambar said caressing her arm shyly
-Actually, I slept all the flight here, so no sleepy at all, I could use a good conversation, only if you want, and aren't tired, because if you are you can totally go to sleep -Simon said way more fast than intended, and that made Ambar laugh a little
-Actually I napped all afternoon, so no sleepy here neither -She said smiling -I can make some cocoa, if you like
-Sure, cocoa would be awesome, let me help you -Simon said smiling and both went to the kitchen to make the cocoa, while Ambar was making it Simon was taking off the mugs and the toppings, he chose whipped cream and Ambar had some marshmallows. They both took each mug and sat on the big couch in the living room, with a lot of space between them
-Hmm, is really good- Simon said tasting the cocoa, and Ambar let a laugh out
-What? What happen?
-You... you have some... -Ambar pointed his mouth where he had some bits of whipped cream
-Oh, where? Here? -He said touching his nose and the corners of his mouth but didn't take much of it so Ambar leaned close to him and clean it with her tomb, then she looked at his eyes and saw that he had really cute and deep brown eyes, and Simon also got lost in Ambar's blue eyes, thinking about that her eyes were as blue as Cancun ocean, they stayed that way for a couple of seconds until Ambar went back to the other side of the couch -Thanks -Simon managed to say
-No prob -Ambar said looking at her cocoa again, there was some seconds of silent only them drinking their cocoas, but the weirdest thing was that neither of them felt awkward, then Ambar decided to break the ice -And how was the flight?
-Good, I slept all the way here and they gave me a cookie that tasted actually good -He said joking
-I've never been in a commercial flight, but I've heard that the food is quite bad
-You never been on a plane? -Simon asked shocked
-I've been, but only in my family's private jet, so they always made the food I wanted -Ambar explained herself and Simon was looking at her even more shocked than before
-You have a private jet?
-My family does -She said without taking her eyes of her cocoa
-Is the same, isn't?
-No, it isn't, my family kind of kicked me off their lives, so... -Ambar said and Simon felt how her voice was cracking so he stayed in silence -You want to ask me about that, right? -She said with a soft smile
-I don't want you to talk about something that wouldn't make you any good -He said and Ambar felt his sincere tone and that made her feel that someone was worried about her, a feeling that was very uncommon lately
-Actually maybe, it could be good, talk about it, I haven't talk about it since it happened and I still feel something in my chest that doesn't let me breath properly -She said placing one of her hands in her chest, she really would like to talk, since that happened she wasn't able to talk about it to anyone, because she always had the feeling that everyone would judge her, but with Simon she just didn't has that feeling
-I'm all ears, I won't say anything, I can promise that, just let out all you have inside, scream, cry if is necessary, sometimes that things help a lot -Simon said moving a little closer to Ambar, she smiled him and told him all about her problems, at the end some tears where going down her cheeks but she felt so much lighter.
-And I'm so afraid that they were right, that my dreams just don't work out, and that I have to go back to them for help -She said trying her best to keep calm
-Hey, dreams are hard, but they totally worth it, and I can trust you would be great at whatever you put your mind into, you kicked my ass the second you saw me, you would kick the entire world's ass eventually -Simon said and Ambar laughed at it, the guy was great making her feel better
-Is just... I feel so alone now. If I'd have at least one person on my side, only one person of my family or my old friends, just someone to believe in me, everything would be so much easier -Ambar said and now tears were bursting down her face
-Hey, maybe I'm not an old friend, or part of your family, but I believe in you, and if someone you just met believe in you, all the other people in your life will -Simon said getting closer to Ambar ad cleaning her tears with his hand, the touch of Simon's hand on her face made her feel that someone actually care about her, and she needed to feel that way so much, so she shrugged her face a little on his hand closing her eyes, when she opened them she saw that they were just centimeters apart, but the weirdest was that neither of them feel it awkward, it felt natural, like they knew each other for all life, Simon was smiling lost in Ambar's eyes he thought that every second that passed they were getting bluer
-I think is time to sleep -He said in a very soft tone and Ambar just nodded so they both went upstairs
-Thanks for listening me -Ambar said stand in front of him
-You are more than welcome, I think we would have a lot of time to get to know us
-I hope so -Ambar said and then both split pats to go to each end of the corridor to their rooms, at the door Ambar turned her head to look at Simon again who was looking at her too -Good night Simon
-Good night Ambar -Simon answered and then both entered to their rooms, to dream about each other from that night and on.

Oh, Allie, I love your writing. And I love some sweet banter. What about 38 for davenzi? ❤️
Thank you for playing!  I hope you don’t mind this becoming part of the longish fic that I’ve been working on.  For you, Camilla, it’s the final chapter of the fic that grew out of several prompts! (If anyone else wants to send more, the list can be found over here, and chapter one is available on tumblr here and Ao3 right here).  This chapter is also available on Ao3.
Rings, Riddles and Revenge.  Chapter Six: “Why can’t you appreciate my sense of humor?”
David
The bell over the store’s door tinkles, alerting David to a new customer entering.  It’s instinct now, the way he reacts to that sound.  His face settles automatically into its customer service facade, and he straightens his back ready to smile and welcome whoever this is with his best, and most perfectly polite, service voice.  Out of the corner of his eye, David can see his coworker grinning and he remembers, relaxing a little.
He’s not in his old shop anymore.  He’s not expected to have the same sort of stiff formal approach when talking to customers.  In fact, he’s expected rather to be warmer, more open.  He’s been working here for the last few weeks but it still hasn’t become second nature to act more naturally, the bell bringing muscle memory in before he can even stop himself.  He hears Sonja’s delighted cackle as his body slumps a little, and he huffs his frustration while rolling his eyes at her.
“I can’t get over your face every single time,” she says.  “It’s been weeks and you’re still like a dog when its master comes home, all alert and eager to please.”
She pats his arm, her amusement clear in the ostentatiously condescending nature of the contact.  Being here is such a different experience, David thinks as he ducks out of her way and growls his fake irritation.  Sonja likes to tease and mess with him.  In her own words, ‘a quiet workplace is a boring workplace,’ and so David has to watch out for pranks at strange moments as well as this sort of banter.  He loves it.  Blows her a kiss through his affectation of a scowl.  Her grin widens as she nods towards the door.  “Better watch out,” she says, “today’s customer is your boyfriend, and he might get the wrong idea if you keep doing that.”
David’s fake scowl dissipates immediately as he looks up and indeed sees Matteo, grinning his own smug satisfaction at him.
“This reminds me of that first day I met you,” he says, leaning his arms on the counter and bending forward so he can peck David’s cheek.  “That serious face, and perfect smile.  Do you want to call me ‘sir’ to make it feel like old times?”
“Ass,” David says, returning the kiss but pushing at Matteo’s arm where it’s lying on one of Sonja’s new projects.  Matteo glances down at it and pouts as he moves the arm away form her work, and sadly away from David’s.  Matteo always hates this, David thinks with a small smirk of his own.  He may pretend to be above such things, but Matteo does like to be able to snuggle when he comes in, and Sonja’s projects are the only thing he’s not allowed to mess up.  They’re the only thing that gets in the way of their closeness.  Well, those and the times when David has to actually work, greeting customers or placing stock carefully on shelves.
Still pouting, Matteo sits down on a stool at the far end of the counter.  “Why can’t you appreciate my sense of humor?” he asks, as he leans onto the counter and tilts his head in the way that David knows is an imitation of his own.
David smiles, his fondness bleeding through into the attempt at exasperation.  “I do appreciate it,” he says.  “In the right place at the right time.”
Matteo pokes his tongue out, making David laugh.  It’s always like this, quiet teasing and silliness, and he’s not sure how he could ever have thought of Matteo differently, as the serious guy with the sad eyes and aura of melancholy.  That’s not who he truly is inside.
The store’s bell tinkles again, and once again David’s spine tightens, he drags his eyes immediately away from Matteo’s, and his service smile flicks up and onto his face.  He catches it quickly, lets himself relax more naturally, but not before Matteo snorts his amusement from the other end of the counter.  David squints back over at him, hoping he can see the frown and will behave.  No such luck.  Instead, Matteo lounges more firmly against the counter, his eyes alight and the same cheeky grin David fell for on his face.  He looks smug, as if he’s waiting to see how David handles whatever he’s about to throw at him.
David goes through the motions of ascertaining what the customer wants and making sure he knows where in the store to find it before he can give more attention to Matteo and that look.  Something about the whole situation is prickling his ‘I’m being pranked’ alarm bells, and he squints suspiciously in Matteo’s direction once the man has moved away.
“Those clothes look awfully familiar,” David says, as he makes his way back down the counter to where Matteo is perched.
“I certainly hope so,” Matteo says with his grin widening.  “We’ve been living in the same place for a while now.  I’d say you weren’t doing your share of the laundry if they didn’t.”
“No, that’s not what I mean,” David says, sure now that something is going on.  “That’s exactly what you were wearing that very first day I met you.”
Matteo shrugs, seemingly unconcerned on the outside, but David knows him well enough to know that something really is up.  He’s a little too nonchalant in the way he’s poised on the stool and in the way he’s leaning, his body not quite as relaxed as he wants David to believe.
“I wear the same clothes sometimes, David; that’s a thing you know.  We can’t all be like you with your huge range of clothes.”
He’s teasing, his voice soft and loving as he says it.  Because it’s a standing joke among all their friends that David only wears black or Matteo’s clothes, and Matteo knows saying this will get him an exasperated loving glance.  Still, David refuses to be put off.  He carefully moves Sonja’s precious project to the side and picks up his cloth to dust.
The store is one of those places that seems to pick up dust just by existing, and a sunny warm bar of light highlights every mote in the air.  It’s part of what gives the store its lived in and comfortable feeling, but it does mean that David is almost constantly dusting to try to keep it somewhat pleasant for the customers.  It doesn’t really need a proper dusting today, but the cloth gives him something to do while he examines Matteo and it’s something he’s done so often that Matteo won’t be suspicious when he sees it happening.
From under lowered lashes, David watches as Matteo’s eyes dart towards Sonja and one lip quirks up at the side as he licks them nervously.  David can see her face from where he’s standing and she’s got a fond, exasperated expression around her eyes.  She nods, tips her chin in David’s direction, and Matteo takes a breath and turns back towards David.  Through the stirred up dust, he looks almost angelic as his face slides from cheeky amusement into something more serious.  David looks down at the counter briefly, trying to compose himself; Matteo’s face like that always has this effect on him.  He can’t concentrate on anything else if he’s looking at Matteo when he’s focused in that particular way.
“The diamond in your engagement ring is fake,” Matteo says softly, drawing David’s eyes back to him.
“Excuse me?” David says, letting the cloth fall onto the counter as he takes in Matteo, holding out a battered old leather ring case, not quite down on one knee, but definitely not lounging anymore either.
Matteo
“I said, the diamond in your engagement ring is fake,” Matteo repeats.  His heart is hammering, even though he knows David’s going to agree.  They’ve even talked about this and about how long they’d wait before one or the other would do this.  But Matteo can’t wait; once he’d had the idea he couldn’t see himself doing it on any day other than this one, exactly one year since David said those words to him.
Even so, even though he knows with every atom in his body that David is on the same page, the entire world slows down after he says the words.  Matteo watches as David’s face shifts through a series of complicated expressions, his lips pressing together in his startlement and his eyes widening, the lashes framing them flickering up with his surprise.
“I don’t have …” David starts, and then his face flushes, red staining his cheeks, and his breath sucking in while his eyes widen as he gets it.  “You ass.  That’s my line.”
David’s voice is wobbly with emotion, though, and Matteo grins, relief flooding his body and leaving him almost weak with it.  “I know, but I always wanted to say it.  Anyway,” he adds, shaking the box.  “You do have an engagement ring.  If … if you want it.”
The fondest, most loving expression crosses David’s face, softening his features into something almost boyish, and Matteo’s heart leaps as he reaches out to touch the box gently.  “Is that …?”
“Yeah,” Matteo says, opening it to show him.  The ring lies there, glowing innocently exactly as it did a year ago when David had told Matteo the news and his heart had sunk into his shoes at the thought that he couldn’t help his mother out, after all.  “It’s my dad’s ring.”
What better revenge could Matteo get on his father, after all, than using it for this?  Being happy with it, not as an object of value and something to be paraded about as a sign of family honor, but as a sign of his love.  He’s been happier than he’d ever dreamed possible since he decided not to sell it, so why not gift it to the person who helped make that true?
“So,” Matteo says, wanting to hear an actual answer now.  Even though he can see it in the flush on David’s cheeks, the tremble in his hand and the joy in those gorgeous brown eyes, he needs to hear it out loud.  “Will you marry me?”
“Yes,” David says.  “Of course I will.”
His discarded dusting cloth is lying on the counter, forgotten, and he stares at Matteo as if he can’t quite believe what he’s hearing and what he’s just said.  For some reason, Matteo is fixated on that cloth, and on the hand that sits quietly next to it, the hand that should by rights have a ring on it right now.
Matteo reaches out and picks it up, notices the shake in his own hand as he wrestles the ring from the box and holds it out with a questioning quirk of his brow.  David nods, so matteo carefully and gently pushes the ring onto his finger.  It’s not quite the right fit, sits a little loosely as it slides down.  David curls his hand over to keep it in place, looks at it for a long moment and then glances up at Matteo with a smile.  It’s not his usual grin, not the normal fondly amused or exasperated look.  It’s filled with an honest, pure love, and Matteo’s breath catches in his throat.
“Do you think maybe you could come over here so I can kiss you properly?” Matteo asks.  He can hear the emotion in his own voice, and winces as he notices Sonja’s cackle behind them. She’s enjoying this, enjoying their less-than-perfect conversation.  David hears her too and his eyes narrow a little as he looks over at her for a moment.  Matteo looks her way as well, sees the way she’s trying to hold her own emotions in and lets out a breath.  David steps out and around to where Matteo is standing.
“I feel like this was a bit of a set up,” he says as he reaches Matteo, nodding over at Sonja as he wraps his arms around Matteo’s waist.
“Mmmm, I might have had a little help in getting everything exactly right,” Matteo admits, propping his own hands up onto David’s shoulders and smiling.
He’s not going to admit to it all, at least not yet.  Not to the fact that he did dig out the exact clothes he was wearing that day they met, nor to the fact that he’d had Sonja precisely timing his entrance so that he could say the words at the exact moment David had said them a year ago.  He’s not willing to admit to being that sappy, not yet.  It’s one thing to be this way, it’s quite another to be open and naked with that truth.  He thinks David might get it anyway, if the small huff of laughter he gives is any indication.
David’s nose is running up and along his own, sending sparks down his spine.  It’s something Matteo’s become used to over the last almost-year they’ve been together, but it’s different now because they’re officially engaged now.  That’s a whole new world of things opening up for them, and Matteo sighs in happiness as he tilts his head up and David finally, finally presses his lips to Matteo’s.
“I love you,” David says when they finally part.
Matteo may have heard those words a hundred times before this, he may have known deep in his bones that it’s true, and yet hearing them today feels different, feels bigger somehow.  He runs his own nose along David’s, listening for the inevitable small gasp David makes when he does it.  It’s these things, the small things, that matter most and Matteo sighs into another kiss.
“I love you too,” he says when they part again, letting his fingers feel the ring where it sits on David’s hand.  “Who’d have thought this little thing would bring us here like this.”
“Yeah,” David agrees, grinning as he takes matteo’s hand, pressing the warm band of the rings against his own fingers.  “Who’d have thought that awkward man with the fake ring would be the one to propose to me?”
Rolling his eyes, Matteo quiets him with another kiss.  This is what he’s always wanted, and in some ways he wants to thank his father; if it hadn’t been for his obsession with the ring Matteo would never have found David and never have found this.  It seems like revenge can be sweet, after all.

In Our Dreams
Apparently this is what happens when I’m frustrated with my homework and stressed about the grades I will get tomorrow of my first school period. I start to write a multichapter. I have no idea how many chapters this will be or when I’ll be updating but here’s the first part.
According to the universe, soulmates see each other in their dreams until they meet each other in real life. So every time we go to sleep. You will find your soulmate waiting there for you.
Chapter 1: Just A Dream

After a long day, Luna finally got to go to sleep. She went to bed and her eyes immediately closed when she was lying down. She was happy to be able to finally rest.
When she fell asleep, she found herself in a beautiful, magic place. The view stretched itself out for miles. She couldn't see the end of the grass field with thousands of roses. In front of her, there was a huge waterfall with a small lake. The water was so clear and blue. It was one of the nicest things she has ever seen. She couldn't get tired of everything that she is seeing at the moment. She never wanted to leave this place.
She stared at her reflection in the water and she saw that she wasn't wearing her pyjama but a beautiful red dress. She looked like she just stepped out of a fairy tale. She looked at herself for a few minutes. She was startled when she suddenly saw a face that wasn't hers in the water.
She looked up to see if anyone else is here but she didn't see anybody. She didn't understand what was happening. She hopelessly looked for the person she saw but she had no luck.
After a while, she got sick of looking and decided to sit down on the grass to take in the breath taking view for as long as she can.
Suddenly, the sun came out and everything around her lighted up. Just as she thought this wasn't going to get any more beautiful, she saw the flowers blooming and the water got even more blue. She wished she could take pictures of it but unfortunately, it was just a dream. She couldn't do anything but looking at the view. She was okay with that.
Unexpectedly, a guy appeared next to her. She didn't see his face at first. She just saw a shadow. Then she looked up and saw a handsome young guy with brown hair and brown eyes. He was just as suprised to be here as she was.
They looked at each other confused. After a couple of stares between them, the stranger went to sit down next to Luna. She followed his moves with her eyes. They finally looked each other in the eyes. They both hesitated to say anything. They didn't really know what to do next.
After a few minutes of staring, the boy decided to start up the conversation. "Who are you?"
"I'm Luna and you?" she asked with a lot of doubt in her voice. She seemed very unsure.
"I'm Matteo. What are you doing here?" he asked with a frown on his face.
"I could ask you the same thing. As far as I knew, we're in my dreams." she suddenly said with a lot of conviction.
His confusion clearly seen on his face got bigger. "That can't be because I'm pretty sure we're in my dreams."
It was her turn to have an expression of confusion on her face: "That's not possible. How?"
"I don't know. This never happened to me before." He casually said.
"Me neither." Luna started trying to find an answer but there was no rational explanation for this. She had no idea what this actually was. Was this a dream? Or wasn't it?
They were both thinking about how this could be possible and couldn't find anything.
But Matteo decided to not let this opportunity pass him by to talk to this beautiful girl that was sitting next to him.
"Where are you from? I noticed that you have an accent." He tried to start up a conversation.
"I'm from Mexico." She looked over at him and said: "You have an accent too. Where do you come from?"
"I'm from Italy." He answered her. After a few seconds of silence "Would you like to discover this place with me, Luna?" He asked as he stood up and reached out his hand for her to take it.
She smiled and took his hand. Luna was a little startled to feel his touch. She didn't expect to feel any human touch because somehow she knew she wasn't in the real world. So jumped up a little when she felt the warmth of his touch. She didn't know him but in some way, she felt safe with him, he felt so familiar. He helped her get up. It was very easy to him and she really liked that.
Without letting go of each other, they took a walk around the lake. They didn't want to go to far because they were afraid that this view will end at some point and they didn't want to loose this.
The lake was bigger than they tought, it took them hours to walk around it. It didn't matter. They were happy to be here. But they both were afraid that this would end any time now. So they tried to spend as much time together as possible. They were both scared to never see each other again. Much to their surprise, they enjoyed each other's company, they loved spending all this time together. They were talking and making jokes.
Somehow they got tired of walking and decided to sit down again. It was still strange to Luna, it almost felt real. All of this but she also knew that she was asleep. She didn't understand it at all. The thought was in the back of her mind all the time. She couldn't stop wondering.
"Luna!" Matteo's voice interrupted her toughts.
She looked up and saw the panicked expression on his face. He was fading away. He was starting to become invisible little by little. Luna panicked and ina desperate way, she hung onto him. She grabbed his hand, like this was the only way to keep him here. He held on as well. He didn't want to go away either. But they couldn't go around the inevitable. He disspeared into thin air. When he was nowhere to be seen, she felt tears streaming down her face. It felt like she lost part of her. She didn't believe that someone could mean the world to her in such a short amount of time. The worst thing is, she's not even sure if he was real or not. It certainly felt real but she didn't want to believe it.
Before she could think about it even more, she started to fade away as well. She didn't know what was happening or what happened to Matteo, before giving it a second thought. Her eyes flung open and suddenly she was back in her bedroom. She apparently made some noise and her mother heard her.
Monica came rushing into the room. Worried about Luna.
"What happened?" she asked with a worried tone.
"I'm not sure..." She stopped to take a breath and continued: "I was in this beautiful place and there was this guy. Someone I have never met before. I think it was just a dream but it felt so real. I don't know if you get it."
Monica pulled her in for a hug. "Oh Luna." she couldn't help but let out a laugh.
Luna didn't knew why she did it: "What's so funny?"
"I think you just met your soulmate." it was all her mother said. Luna understood even less. Her mind was spinning like crazy trying to understand it all.
