Didn't know I had to say this but if you're stance on the Palestinian "conflict" is pretty much anything other than "Isreal is commiting a Genocide, the free-palestine movement is correct " we do not agree and I am not the token Jew for you. You don't have to unfollow but I'm certainly unfollowing you

Since Bleach Cour 3 will air this Saturday, I just wanna say that :
Please don't associate or compare any similarity between the Wandenreich and or Quincy with Israel
They don't have the slightest similarity. Trying to point out any similarity between those two will only unintentionally feed to the western "making Israel sympathetic" propaganda (when the soldiers and citizens are very much conscious of their government's genocidal plans and all of them take glee in killing and torturing and watching Palestinians suffered; even if they got trauma or mental health issue, it doesn't change the fact that they consciously choose to be racist and homicidal and keep continuing to do so regardless of what they mentally and psychologically get from the atrocities they commit and they don't and will never really really feel guilty like really really regret it for the thousands and billions of innocent blood on their hands) and further stigmatize the already badly written oppressed race Quincy (because we know Kubo not only sucks in writing female characters and POC characters)

utterly sick to my stomach about what’s happening to Gaza. And just as sick about the response of so called Jewish people like my mother who somehow feel like this genocide is justified. I want to throw up

ah, I got caught up dealing with that last bullshit. @pal1cam don't use that term, it is an antisemitic slur aimed at Jewish people as a whole, not specifically Zionists. using it this way conflates all Jewish people with the colonial genocidal project.

Israel has just bombed a hospital where hundreds of wounded and refugees were taking solace. Journalists in Gaza have reported there was hardly a single body whole in the aftermath (If you can stomach it, there's a video of a father holding what remains of his child). At least 500 people killed by IOF soldiers, who planned this action, got into an airplane and dropped that bomb willingly. The deadliest attack in five wars, according to the Ministry of Health.
Israel has denied ownership of the attack and said it was a misfired Hamas rocket. Originally, they celebrated it on their social media, saying they had destroyed a Hamas target, treating the deaths like an unfortunate collateral. After international backlash, they posted videos to their social media claiming it was a Hamas rocket. The video, though, shows a second explosion 40 minutes after the airstrike, and they edited it our of their tweet in a pathetic attempt at covering up.
Israel has said multiple times that they were going to bomb hospitals. They told doctors to evacuate and leave their patients to death because they were going to bomb, namely: Al Shifa, Shuhada Al Aqsa and the Quwaiti Hospital. Al Shifa housed at least 10.000 refugees and wounded, and worked as a hub for the press because it was one of the only hospitals that still had working generators. Medical crew worked with sirens blaring to signal the hospitals were not empty. This was a purposeful massacre. These people died hungry, thirsty and in pain because of the Israeli government's cruelty.
CNN and other media outlets already tried to pin the blame on Hamas, parroting back the pathetic propaganda being sold by the IOF. Even in death, Palestinians can't be respected and are used to further their own oppression. These people's deaths are not going to be in vain. Within our lifetimes, Palestine will be free.
Take action. The Labour Party in the UK had an emergency meeting today after several councilors threatened to resign if they didn't condemn Israeli war crimes. Calling to show your complaints works.

Protests in support have already erupted in Beirut, Madrid and Rabat in response to the shelling of the hospital. Join your local protest and raise your voices. For people in the US, Israel has just asked for additional $10bi in aid on top of the annual $3.8bi already given to them. Palestinians are asking that you refuse this loudly, with their every breath.

wait I know why we hate AIPAC but what did ADL do? I thought the anti defamation League was good
The ADL is an Israeli/Zionist advocacy group at its core. It's main priority as an organization is to protect Israel and its mission for a Jewish Ethno-State. This is especially true under Johnathan Greenblatt's leadership who has said "antizionism is antisemitism" It's easy to think that the "Anti Defamation League" has no underlying agenda given its history as a "civil rights organization" but it has constantly used that as a screen for extremely right wing positions on Israel. Some of their greatest hits include: Equating Students for Justice in Palestine, JVP, and CAIR to "white supremacists" simply because they strongly oppose an ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. A leaked ADL memo revealing how ADL plans to "soften" the news to Americans that Israel plans to annex the West Bank. (Source). In this leak Greenblatt recognizes that the annexation is a violation of basic human rights. To me this is a clear indication that they are less concerned with civil rights and more concerned with shaping the public image of Israel, especially in the US. Really urge you all to read this leak! Supported South African Apartheid (surprise surprise) and participated in propaganda against Nelson Mandela and the ANC. They even employed a spy named Roy Bullock to infiltrate the anti-apartheid campaign in the US. They later settled a law suit for this. (Source) That's not even close to the only time they've utilized spies. THIS recent leak of Greenblatt talks about ADL having spies in Jewish Voice for Peace and other organizations. It also talks about how they are having a hard time with the global youth no longer buying into their propaganda. Another source you should give your full attention to. PLEASE listen to that whole thing. It's truly terrifying. You're gonna hear them talk a lot about why Tiktok is a danger to their mission.
HERE is an article about how the ADL has a long history of smearing black activists, working with Police/ICE, and its attempts to demonize the BDS movement. I could go on and on about how terrible and deceitful the ADL is. The sources above are a good start to understanding why we shouldn't trust the ADL but please look into all the other things they've done like working with the FBI to spy on Arab Americans, infiltrating student organizations they find to be a threat to "Israel's image", surveillance, the people who fund/donate to them etc.
The best way to fight orgs like this is to share/spread this info as much as you can. It's clearly working because they're losing global support especially with the youth.

It's always important to pay attention to the Palestinian Christian community and now more than ever. I want to highlight Rev. Munther Isaac's sermon, God Is Under the Rubble In Gaza, that never left me since the day I read it. Rev. Munther is a brilliant voice for his community and never fails to call out Western Christians, especially Christian Zionists, for their blatant hypocrisy.
Bethlehem, and Palestine as a whole, is not a mythical fairytale land to attach your biblical fantasies to. It should not suffer under the weight of your biblical orientalism and your evangelist conspiracy theories. It is a real place with a struggling people who practice multiple faiths in a way that does not have to appeal to you. Its people take precedence over your imagination and your propaganda.
God is under the rubble in Gaza. He is with the frightened and the refugees. He is in the operating room. This is our consolation. He walks with us through the valley of the shadow of death. If we want to pray, my prayer is that those who are suffering will feel this healing and comforting presence.
We are broken. The people of Gaza are suffering. They have lost everything except their dignity. Many attained glory — they attained martyrdom — even if they did not ask for it. Now, again in our history, they find themselves facing the same choice: death or displacement. Our Nakba continues!

Are you kidding me.
Are you absolutely kidding me.
I don't even know where to start with this one. There are so many mind boggling implications in that first sentence that it would merit a case study. You people are insufferable antisemites and I'm tired of your shit. You can't pretend you're "just 'antizionist', not antisemitic" when YOU'RE the ones bringing up zionism whenever Judaism/Jews are mentioned in any capacity.
why did anyone bother with making animated movies after Prince of Egypt? did they think they had any chance of ever comparing?

@puppypalice what do you think a Zionist is, though? Because this implies that there's some kind of Zionist organization or political party that people can join.
As far as I can tell, there are two different definitions people are using for "Zionist."
People who don't think Israel should be violently destroyed.
A specifically Jewish movement of people who love genocide in general, or genocide of Palestinians in particular.
But there's not an organization for either of those things.
You seem to be picturing the second definition? But like... what are they joining? The IDF?
I know they're not joining some evangelical megachurch that wants Israel to exist so that the End Times can come or whatever.
Because nobody is protesting those. They rarely even get mentioned.
I know they're not joining Hamas/PIJ/PFLP, despite the fact that Sinwar said he would fight until the last child in Gaza; despite Haniyeh demanding "the blood of Gaza's children, women, and elderly;" despite the fact that Gazans loathe Hamas for starting the war, routinely torturing and executing dissenters, and committing countless atrocities against them over the past 15 months.
Because at best, nobody gives a shit about Hamas. And at worst, they buy the propaganda that Hamas is "the Palestinian resistance." (Instead of the We Want To Live movement and the Gaza's Liberators movement.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Are future historians going to be saying this about anyone who hates and opposes Hamas? Because that seems to be what usually gets Gazan activists, and Jews, denounced as Zionists.
If so, that now includes not only most of Gaza:
Tumblr media
But also, the rest of Palestine:
Tumblr media
That's from one of the co-organizers of the We Want To Live movement, who has twice been jailed and tortured by Hamas for organizing marches in Gaza.
He's only 24, and he's repeatedly put his life on the line for Gaza's freedom. And there is not one person in the pro-Palestine movement that will platform him, or anyone like him. Even Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib -- another Gazan activist, one who hates Israel significantly more than Howidy -- gets pre-emptively blocked.
Anyway, the context for the whole "they'll call them Zionists" thing was that the Hind Rajab Foundation filed 12 complaints against IDF soldiers.
Which does make it seem like that must be what everyone's going to be called Nazis for joining?
The Hind Rajab Foundation is chaired by a former Hezbollah member: Dyab Abou Jahah, a Belgian man from Lebanon who also:
founded a Holocaust denial group;
has repeatedly called for the violent destruction of Israel;
says Europe makes "the cult of the Holocaust and Jew-worshiping its alternative religion";
questioned the existence of the Nazi gas chambers;
and calls gay men “AIDS spreading faggots”...
...just to hit the highlights.
The article notes that there were no troops around when Hind Rajab was killed. Which is news to me, because I only learned about it on social media.
So basically, a guy who is at best a Nazi apologist started a group named after someone who wasn't killed by the IDF, but who he wants us to think was. And now that group is running "a campaign... to identify Israeli soldiers who have published videos to social media in which they commit, claim to have committed, or appear to endorse committing potential war crimes, and to file complaints against the soldiers on that basis."
@stoptheantisemitism blocked me after I said you can't just report people you assume must have committed a war crime. Because surely you can, since "they've posted themselves committing atrocities all over social media" or whatever.
But in fact, the article they posted literally says that the campaign includes people "who appear to endorse committing potential war crimes."
And no matter how despicable or disgusting that is, it's also absolutely fucking silly to be like, "Hey!! Sri Lanka!! SRI LANKA!! This guy who tweeted about wanting to burn Gaza City to the ground is in your country right now!!! Arrest him!!!!!!"
The fuck you want Sri Lanka to do about that??? He didn't commit a crime on their soil, and he's not a citizen of their country.
So I'm assuming you're talking about the IDF. But what's the point of saying that future historians will imply people were Nazis for joining the IDF even if they don't hate Palestinians? People are already calling them that today.
More to the point, it's not like there's a massive movement to move to Israel and get permission to join its military.
Is the point just to make sure we damn everyone in the IDF, whether they personally hate Palestinians or not, whether they were conscripted or not, etc?
Is the point just to call them Nazis?
Is the point to minimize the Nazis by deemphasizing what they did?
Because it seems important that Hitler not only industrialized mass murder and killed a peak of 500,000 people a month, but also:
declared a state of emergency,
seized dictatorial powers,
stripped Jews of their citizenship,
made relationships and sex with them illegal,
pressured white people to boycott all Jewish businesses,
and banned them from leaving the country without turning their property and money over to the Nazis,
none of which Israel has ever done to either the Palestinalsians, or its own Arab citizens.
like, I would assume that nobody is making a conscious attempt to minimize what the Nazis did. But it minimizes what they did either way.

all the wikipedia vandalism is one of the most frustrating and horrific parts of this whole bullshit to me. they are quite literally attempting to rewrite history to fit their own precious narrative and worldview better. but no they're toootally not antisemitic for doing all this because documented jewish history is actually (((zionist propaganda))).

It’s utterly shameful that Zionists keep accusing Palestinians of “pallywood” whenever an atrocity is broadcast and goes viral. Obviously it’s a propaganda ploy to accuse Palestinians of lying to garner the world’s sympathy and turn people against Israel. But what exactly would Palestinians gain out of faking or exaggerating atrocities anyway? What we’re seeing isn’t even half the horror. Yet no one is doing anything to stop Israel. Governments worldwide are still supplying weapons to Israel or even just diplomatic / political support. All the while trying to criminalise or police Palestinian protest. They’re not only backing the slaughter but complicit in it. Yes Palestinians might’ve gained the general public’s sympathy but how is that any good? It’s a whole year later and Israel is still continuing its endless massacres. Every day its a new atrocity, war crime after war crime with no end in sight. Again, what exactly do Palestinians gain by supposedly “lying”?

I woke up to the news about Refaat Alreer. I still feel cold. Imagine seeing someone talking on your TL every day, narrating what the genociders are doing, counting the dead and telling their stories, amplifying his colleagues in Palestinian activism and academia, advocating and pleading endlessly for a ceasefire, delivering blistering witticisms about Zionist propaganda and then...he and his whole family are dead.
Two of my favourite tweets by him, calling out the craven Western media for never naming Israel.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It feels like a funeral today. My whole TL full of his students and Palestinians mourning Refaat alongside writers and journalists and academics from all over the Global South. The only people who matter to us is us.
Meanwhile, Zionists are attacking us under our mourning tweets, circulating the tweet where he laughed at the monstrous lie of Hamas cooking a baby in an oven during Oct 7th, one of the lies that fuelled the slaughter that eventually killed him too.
Tumblr media
This was his last tweet.
Tumblr media
USAmerican disability activist Imani Barbarin's tweet today was partially motivated by Refaat's death.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I need to go offline for a while.
I leave you with Refaat's last poem that was his pinned tweet for over a month. When a storyteller dies, generations are robbed of universes. When a poet dies, the world loses a piece of its soul.
Tumblr media
You can find Refaat's book "Gaza Writes Back" in my gdrive folder of Palestinian literature. I don't know where the royalties will go now, but please also try and find it in a bookstore or library.
