Ok. Here is something bizarre that I was wondering of how your OC reacted to this.

Your OC is the one who’s taking orders in a fast food restaurant. Like McDonald’s, Carls Jr, Starbucks- ANY. And once they’re about to take their LAST order before taking breaks.

You recognize a familiar accent from someone. A SAMOAN accent and you can hear BUNCH of people and kids in the background.

This is gonna take a LONG time for you to take their orders. What are their reactions?

(Because I saw this on TikTok that the guy was taking SO many orders from a SAMOAN family and he was looking TIRED😂)

Ok I'm gonna do Franca for this one because she has no filter and it would be very easy to read on her face that she is tired, needs a break and is silently crying on the inside that she hates her job and wants nothing more than to chew ice and scream at the broken ice cream machine.

So, Franca, having reluctantly taken a job at McDonald's, feels incredibly uncomfortable in her uniform because it's scratchy and the tag is catching on her neck. It's also very warm, very loud, and her stomach is growling with hunger. She's been on her feet for hours already and she's late to going for her scheduled break. Probably has a shitty manager who doesn't send her on-time and is on her last warning for yelling at him that he's as fucking useful as a chocolate fireguard.

She's been told 10 minutes and then she can go on break. That means she can go on break at 15:30. It's currently 15:20. That's fine. 10 minutes is fine. She can survive 10 minutes.

She starts to move away from the till, when the voices come and the enormous family surrounds the till area. They file in, filling in the space in front of her, children with their little hands resting on the counter. The parents would be smiling, gathering their kids, the other family.

She'd smile, tightly, the light of the smile not reaching her eyes because for fuck's sake couldn't you have waited those 10 minutes and bothered a different person because now im ordering for like 20 people fuck me sideways with a fucking pinecone-

"Can I take your order please?" Her tone is lacklustre, bland, tired, annoyed, it goes through those emotions like a roller coaster.

By the end of it, I wouldn't be surprised if she's stopped talking and is half hunched over the till screen feeling like she's in a pit of despair.
