AU/fic where an apprentice (oc or canon) is trained in the dark forest and tries to take over the clans in the dark forest cats’ images but they are the protagonist we see most everything from and maybe root for a bit who knows?

#warriors #warrior cats #the dark forest #wc #warriors au #warrior cats au #wc au #warriors oc #warrior cats oc #wc oc #au ideas #oc ideas #other’s ideas #ideas #you know i think it would be cool if the way the hypothetical book was written was if the reader doesn’t know it’s the dark forest at first #and the reader assumes that the protagonist is being trained by starclan (maybe the protagonist is a medicine cat so it’s harder to realize #it’s the dark forest because these ‘starclan’ cats are helping this cat learn herbs after their mentor died quickly after the protag became #an apprentice. but then the reader can start to feel like something’s off as the herbs being learned are starting to become more potent and #dangerous ones. and when the ‘starclan’ cats #<-(pressed enter too early) begin to help the protagonist with training #maybe it’s described as there being ‘a glint of silver/white’ which at first seems like maybe the stars shimmering in the pelt #but then the protagonist is described as beginning to bleed and then you realize it was actually claws being described #<- catch me about to make a whole oc and story with this concept. thank you anon 🫡#very very cool idea
