#random question of the day#maybe not exactly a question#on the one hand you have all these jokes (that I don’t disagree with) women tell about how some guy approaches her at church#and says ‘God told me you’re going to be my wife’#and the reaction is to shut that down or run away (depending on energy level and the cycle of the moon etc)#on the OTHER hand I heard stories growing up about women who would meet guys#and say ‘God told me he was going to be my husband’#and the reaction to that (in my experience; perhaps not usually) is ‘awwww good for you’#yeah there really isn’t a question#just an observation#from the girl who never made a list of must-haves for a husband#who never ‘prayed for her future husband’ like the devotions leader suggested#(that’s a lie I did make a list like a year ago because one friend was asking)#(it is a very short list)
