It makes me happy, divers make notifications of my girls baby photos and fond memories appear. And it's happy seeing those again. When it's just one, sometimes I wonder if someone has a super deep queue, or in diving this one post was especially meaningful or significant to them.
It's kind of like seeing a rerun of your favorite TV show, yeah I saw it before but I like seeing it again.
I'm also the sort that likes deep diving my own camera roll - 95% of it is my pets. I wonder what someone's camera roll says about them? Probably a lot, honestly.
ok i just got this thought out of nowhere but blog divers (people who scroll through a blog and reblog things that were posted YEARS AGO) are actually a super important part of the tumblr ecosystem
With people going inactive and deactivating, a lot of classic tumblr posts and also missed gems get lost because those connections get broken. Even on my own blog I forget about posts I made until I see someone in my activity reblog one of them- which then inspires me to reblog it myself because it was a good post and I want my new followers to see
do not feel bad about diving through someone's blog and reblogging shit from years ago, it keeps dashboards alive
(and if anyone has a problem with that, they can just block you or they can delete the root post ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, two things that have absolutely no effect on the grand scheme of our lives)
#a glimpse into one's soul#and what matters most to them#the moments they want to preserve#What they want to see again#what they want to share with others after the moment is gone#it's mostly my girls#i love them more than words can express#every moment with them is something special#they are both sweet and silly#and the joy they give me is so incredible#it touches people I've never even met here#some tell me#others say nothing but I can feel it#because I've done the same with creators I'm too shy to message#but yeah#i suppose this blog is my girls' photo diary with a dab of creativity on public mode#and i like seeing the memories again#things in these photos mean more than anyone else will ever know#like the background in some#the places we've been#the hardships we've faced together#i can do back in time to those places and relive that moment and be there again#there's a lot of things in life I do not want to relive#But moments with my girls were always the best#They are in a bubble safe from everything#and when I'm weary with the exhaustion and horrors of life I shed that skin for a bit#and join them in their bubble where kindness is certain and love is overflowing and the biggest worry is what are we going to play today#It's nice to go there and I think the sweet simple moments are ones to share

Red is Your Color | Spencer Reid
Pairing: Spencer Reid x fem!bau!reader
Category: smut 18+ MDNI
Summary: You just committed perhaps the most atrocious wrongly sent message ever. By some trick of nature, your coworker is more than willing to play along. (This is from @imagining-in-the-margins Wrong Recipient prompt list. Character receives scandalous selfies from a coworker; check out her prompts, they're really fun!)
Content: softdom!spencer, fingering, multiple orgasms (female receiving), p in v, creampie, reader is on the pill, Spencer calls reader a naughty girl and pretty girl, tenderness and lots of checking in, vaguely Christmas themed.
Word count: 3.1k
A/N: I read something really poetic and profound yesterday and it inspired me to write, but my mind was in the gutter, so this happened. lmfao happy holidays. UNEDITED, I wrote this at 2 in the morning T.T
Do you think Santa would bend me over and punish me?
Spencer Reid was almost too scared to even open the following messages—he’d already made the mistake of opening this one. And there was a barrage of them, sent a few minutes after the very first one, in quick succession, one right after the other. His phone buzzed and buzzed, matching the distracting hum in his brain at the moment. He should probably read the next messages, because surely, surely those contain the explanation to this one.
Unfortunately, his eyes were glued on this first one—it seemed like it was the only one that contained a picture, after all, and what was that they said about a picture saying a thousand words?
What could it mean then, this picture his coworker had sent to him? What did it mean that he can’t seem to tear his eyes away from it? (What did it imply if he didn’t want to? That he liked the picture? That it made his pants uncomfortably tighter?)
He stared at the picture, his eyes greedily taking every inch of smooth skin exposed by the short, strapless sexy Santa dress his coworker was wearing. It wasn’t explicit—she was fully dressed, after all, but the caption, paired with the way she had been posed… Sitting on what he presumed was her bathroom counter, her legs artfully crossed, the fabric of the dress hiked up to reveal long, luscious thighs. With her pursed lips painted crimson, it was obvious what the message was meant to imply and Spencer felt his mouth grow dry. He shifted on his seat, both hands gripping his phone because he didn’t trust them not to wander down, to give himself relief.
No, he should not be jerking off to his coworker. He shouldn’t even be fucking looking at this photo. He should delete it, call Penelope and ask her to rewire his cloud or memory or data or whatever it was called. Just to get rid of it from his phone. That would be the decent thing to do, and Spencer had always prided himself on being a gentleman.
He knew that would be futile; knew his mind would be treacherous and have the image of her with those supple thighs, and red mouth in his dreams, his nightmares, in every fantasy—
His phone was ringing.
He stared at it, wondering how she was sending so many messages so quickly, before he realized that she wasn’t texting anymore.
She was calling.
His thumb found the answer button without his consent. The next thing he knew, her voice was pouring from his phone’s speaker. Soft. Contrite. Embarrassed. He frowned. What on earth was she embarrassed about, he wondered. She, who looked stunning, who looked good enough to be worshipped—
“—Please say something, Spence.” she was saying, pleading, and something in his gut clenched. That nickname, coming from her lips. That nickname, coming from her lips, while she was wearing that dress.
“Spence—”
“It’s all right,” his voice was strangled. He cleared his throat, “It’s all right. I’ve deleted it.” Lie, what a liar, she deserved better than hastily told lies.
“Okay,” she sighed, relief palpable even without seeing her face to face, “I just didn’t want to get in trouble with HR, on top of everything.”
HR. He almost laughed. They wouldn’t care (unless someone blabbed, like what happened with Derek and Penelope, but he would never do that to her, not in a million years.)
“You wouldn’t, I promise… it wasn’t even that explicit, if I’m being honest.” he heard himself say. He rubbed his eyes in frustration—why did he have to add that?
Her laughter floats from the phone, nervous and low. “I guess not. I wasn’t about to send a complete nude to my friends.”
He straightened up, confused. “Your friends?”
“Yeah,” she replied, her voice still wavering nervously, “Like I said in my texts, it was wrongly sent to you, I was talking to my friends.”
In other words, it wasn’t for him. He would have known that, had he opened her texts, had he not been too busy ogling the picture she had mistakenly sent, the picture that wasn’t even for him. Something unpleasant burned in his chest, but he ignored it in favor of the curiosity that lingered.
“You send explicit pictures to your friends?”
“I thought you said it wasn’t that explicit,” she chuckled, “But, uh, yeah I do… I dunno, maybe that’s weird, but we were joking around.”
That was something new he learned today. That friends could casually send sexually charged photos to each other. The words flew out of his mouth before he could stop them. “So you don’t actually want to be bent over and punished?”
Dear heavens, sometimes he understood why his teammates gave him weird looks. If he had a mirror, he would give himself a weird look. Still, he held his breath for her answer, surprised by the wave of disappointment at the thought of her saying no, it was just a silly text.
The pause grew between them, and Spencer was almost about to apologize, when she spoke again.
“I mean, if someone were willing to do it…”
He swallowed. His pants felt tight once again, and he had to force himself to take deep breaths. This was not an invitation, he thought, she had not asked him, she was not saying if you wanted to do it (which, he does, desperately so.)
“Right.” he managed to croak. Another pause, as if she was contemplating.
“Spencer,” she was whispering now, “Do you want to?”
“Yes.”
“How fast can you get here?”
“Give me fifteen minutes.”
You’re not sure what possessed you into inviting your coworker over, but you did. And now, you’re sitting in your living room, in that blasted sexy Santa dress, panic texting your friends about it. He had said fifteen minutes. Eight minutes had gone by, and you knew he would fulfill his promise. He would be here in seven minutes.
Perhaps you weren’t expecting him to agree. Your perception of Spencer Reid has always been of a sweet genius, wholly brilliant and too preoccupied with academics to even give a second thought to sex and romance. He was a germaphobe, for crying out loud, you had thought it would make him have some sort of aversion to the inevitable sticky, sweaty mess of two bodies coming together.
But you’d heard it in his voice. Strained, low, and riddled with desire.
So you had mustered enough courage to ask. And now—
Your doorbell cut through your thoughts. Taking a deep breath, you shoved your phone into a drawer, not wanting to see the offensive piece of technology for the rest of the night. You looked out through the peephole, and there he was, still in his office clothes. Tall, and slender, and dishevelled and yours for the night.
You pulled the door open, ignoring the heavy thump in your chest.
He smiled. “Hi.”
“You’re early.” You teased, standing aside to let him in. His eyes were glued to you, pupils dilating as he took you in.
“You’re still wearing the dress.”
Right. Once you had realized you sent the text to Spencer instead of your friends, you had spent the next several minutes in agonizing anxiety, sending text after text to Spencer in an effort to explain. In your utter mortification, you had forgotten to change out of it.
He seemed to like that. It gave you enough confidence to surge forward, blindly, recklessly.
“I am.” You said, red lips tugging into a smile you reserved for handsome strangers at a bar. You lowered your voice, just enough for the next words to come out breathless, “Honestly, it’s a little itchy.”
“Is it?” He stepped forward, crowding you into the door. It creaks as it moves with your weight, the knob clicking in place. He reached forward, and you held your breath, anticipating his hands on you, gently running over your skin, but instead they closed over the doorknob, locking it. He didn’t miss your reaction, though, his eyes a glittering night sky of sweet, utter want. “Maybe I can help you with it.”
You nodded, mouth parted in silence, whatever words you wanted to say have died in your throat.
He brought his hand up, caressing your jaw, and you marvelled at how large his hands are, long fingers reaching the nape of your neck. “Red is your color.” he murmured, before leaning in to capture your lips.
His lips were cold and chapped, and you returned his kiss eagerly in an attempt to warm them. Your mouth opens at one swipe of his tongue, moaning as he leans his whole body into you, pushing you harder against the door. Tonight, you learned that Spencer Reid, the sweet, unassuming genius, kisses like he wants to crawl into you. It’s a sloppy mess of tongue and teeth, and a whimper escaped your mouth as he bit your lower lip.
“Too much?” he asked, pulling away for a moment.
As an answer, you wrapped your hands around his neck, and returned the fervor of his kisses. You heard him chuckle, felt it on your own tongue as it happened and it made your knees buckle from sheer want.
His arms wrapped around your waist, hoisting you up into his embrace. You felt him move, stumbling across your apartment before setting you down again. The blunt edge of a drawer hit your lower back, just as he pulled away.
A whine left your lips. You didn’t know if it was from the pain, or the loss of his kiss.
“Turn around, darling.” he murmured, but your brain was so damn distracted you just stared at him blankly. He grinned, hands at your hips gently maneuvering you to face away from him. “You said you wanted to be bent over.”
Chills went down your spine as he pushed you forward, elbows landing on the smooth, wooden desk.
“Y-yeah, I did say that.” you managed to reply. This time, the breathless quality in your voice was not an affectation. You felt his nose on your neck, pushing away the stray locks of hair, before his mouth landed over the skin, open and wet, traversing the expanse of your flesh with reckless ardor. You moaned, craning your head back in a wordless plea for more.
You felt teeth, the sting of it clamping over your flesh. You didn’t even realize you’d yelped until he stopped.
“Sorry,” he whispered, soothing the bite with his kisses.
“It’s okay,” You replied, one hand reaching up, running through his hair. “Do it again.”
The rumble of his laughter made your stomach warm. He sunk his teeth into your neck again, sucked at the spot he bit, and you would have face planted into the desk had it not been for his hands holding you up.
“You’re a naughty girl,” he purred against your skin, “Aren’t you? Sending that picture to me, I bet it wasn’t even an accident.”
“It was,” you protested, but then he grinds his crotch into your ass and any indignation was stifled by the feeling of how damn hard he was. “It was - I didn’t mean to—”
“You didn’t mean to make me this hard?” he asked, rolling his hips against you, “I think you knew exactly what you were doing, naughty girl.” Before you could answer, you felt something digging into your ass. He was tugging at your panties. To the side, as if he couldn’t even be bothered to strip it off of you.
It was hot as all hell.
“My god, you’re absolutely soaked for me.” he groaned into your ear, and you gasped as the rough pads of his fingers ran through your cunt. Somehow, his fingers have remained cold, and the sensation sent a shudder down your spine.
“S-Spencer,” you whined, knuckles finding leverage at the edge of the desk you’ve been sprawled over.
“Mhm? What is it, darling?”
“M-more.”
His laughter filled the room once again, “And I thought I was being needy.” he said, but he obliged your request easily, slipping two fingers into your pussy. His breath fanned over the overheated skin of your neck as he buried his face against your shoulder, “Is this okay?”
“Yes,” you moved your hips against his hand, chasing the rhythm of his fingers. You’d never enjoyed this by yourself; your own fingers were thin, too short to cause any sort of pleasure when you touched yourself. But Spencer’s hands were large, his fingers long and elegant and perfect. They curled inside you, hitting a spot you’ve never been able to with your own hands, and you cried “Oh, fuck yes!”
It was everything. Quite literally. His arm was holding you against him, his body a solid, lean mass behind you, pressing into the slopes of your own, digging in wherever your softness yields to his hard angles. You moaned and moaned again, as his fingers quickened, as his thumb found your clit and rubbed fast circles until your arms gave out and your entire upper half was splayed on the desk.
He didn’t stop, cooing soft words into your ear, his tongue and lips and teeth a whole other dangerous territory of its own. You knew you would have hickeys tomorrow. You knew the team would ask questions. You didn’t particularly care.
“Can you take more?” he asked, and you nodded, eager to take whatever he was going to give. A third finger slid into your dripping cunt, stretching you in ways you haven’t felt in a long time and you groaned, head buried in your arms. He paused, his other hand rubbing circles on your hip, “Are you all right, darling?”
“Yes.” you sobbed, and you knew he wouldn’t believe you because you sounded sad, and everything that Spencer has done up until this point proved that, despite it all, he cared.
“You can tell me if it’s too much, you know.” he murmured. His lips laved featherlight kisses along your shoulder.
“I’m fine,” you insisted, bucking your hips. The idea of being slightly incoherent from the pleasure he’s been giving you was a little too enticing, and you were in no mood to stop, “Please.”
“Okay,” he resumed his ministrations, slower this time, dragging his fingers in and out of you with a precise rhythm, now that he’s figured out your weak spots. “You are so pretty like this, darling. Dress hiked up, your lipstick smudged.”
A mewl came out of your throat, and you would have been embarrassed if you still had the presence of mind to feel an ounce of shame. He coaxed a second orgasm from you, and you marveled at the fact that he could elicit responses like these with just his fingers. It seemed unfair, but a large part of you reveled in it.
“That’s it,” he whispered, slowly pulling his fingers out, “That’s my pretty girl.”
You lifted your head from your arms. The sight that welcomes you is a blurry one, impeded by the clumpy eyelashes and messy tears that had gathered in your eyes. You knew you looked a mess, far from the pretty girl he kept repeating, but you ate up the praise all the same.
As if by their own accord, your hips move back, grinding into his erection. You wanted more. You wanted him to be in the same daze you were in right now, wanted to be one. “Spencer,” you whined, and he laughed, and you wondered if it was possible to get drunk off of a sound.
“You’re insatiable, aren’t you?” he replied, playfully chastising, but the sound of his belt buckle reached your ears and you grinned.
“Just wanna make sure you get something too.” you mumbled.
“Is this a bad time to tell you that I had forgotten a condom?”
Now it was your turn to laugh, bracing yourself on your elbows again, and looking over his shoulder.
“Wow, isn’t your whole thing the complete opposite of forgetting?”
“I was a little distracted.” he said, his smile sheepish.
“I don’t mind,” you replied, “I’m on the pill.”
“You’re sure?”
“Mhm-hmm.” You nodded, one arm moving and blindly grasping for the zipper of your Santa dress. His hand gently encircled your wrist, placing it back on the desk.
“It stays on,” he said, as the blunt tip of his cock pushed past your pussy, “I told you, red is your color.”
Your mouth dropped open as he sheathed himself inside you in one thrust, and wordless expression of pleasure. He had spent a large chunk of time fucking you with his fingers, and the necessity of it dawned upon you now.
He was big.
The stretch made you groan, eyes squeezing shut as your pussy fluttered around him. He pressed his body over yours, pushing you into the desk as he began to rock, in and out of you. Involuntarily, you clenched around him, earning a sharp hiss.
“You feel so good,” he groaned, holding you tightly around the waist with one arm. The other went to the desk, steadying himself as he found a rhythm that made you writhe beneath him, “Oh god, yes.”
You couldn’t even respond, your body moving on autopilot, meeting his every thrust with your hips. The sounds your bodies made were obscene, wet, sloppy noises of flesh meeting flesh. It filled your head, made you dizzy with pleasure.
“Spencer,” at this point, you’ve lost count of how many times you’ve repeated his name. The world has anchored all meaning to that one sound, and you said it, over and over again, “Spencer.”
“Mhm,” he responded by snapping his hips, pushing his cock so deep into your toes curl, “That’s it, darling, say my name.”
“Spencer,” you said in your broken voice, every repetition turning higher and higher in pitch, and it seemed like the higher your voice went, the harder he fucked you. Your desk banged against the wall from his rough thrusts, joining the cacophony of sounds from your coupling.
His pace grew rougher, faster, his grip on you reaching the point of painful and bruising, but it made your head spin in the most delicious way possible. You clenched around him, squeezing his cock in an attempt to find your peak, and instead initiating his.
“Fuck—” he groaned, as his load exploded inside you, somehow filling you even more, and you dropped your head to the desk again as your own body shuddered with release.
Panting, and exhausted, you both stayed there, bent over the desk half upright, like a tower about to topple. He kissed the back of your neck as you fought to catch your breath. Looking over your shoulder, the sight of him fills your vision, hair tousled and sticking to his forehead, his lips smudged with your lipstick, and you couldn’t help but think that red is his color too.

Unwrap Me
Synopsis: you and Leona visit his family for the holidays. You prepared a special gift for him but can’t quite give it in front of his relatives
Content: Leona x fem!reader, afab!reader, reader implied to be Leona’s finance, oral (male and female receiving), dirty talk, penetration, rough sex, dacryphilia, overstimulation, multiple rounds, breeding kink

A/n: todays my birthday (*^_^*) and it’s also Christmas so as a gift, Leona Kingscholar. A happy holidays to everyone
Just one week.
Seven days. 168 hours. 10,080 minutes. 604,800 seconds.
That was how long Leona had to put up with his family for the holidays. That was it. One short week. If he kept repeating that to himself, then perhaps being around his extended family would be manageable.
As long as he knew there was a deadline, he could tolerate Cheka’s begging to bake Christmas cookies and his brother’s pestering about him coming home more often. He could put up with his sister-in-law’s insistence on the family taking updated photos in coordinated pajamas and Neji’s nagging about whatever he chose to complain about Leona not doing right at the moment.
He could handle it.
That’s what he told himself. But after the first forty-eight hours, Leona’s patience already began to wane.
Usually, Leona would hover close to you, using your proximity as an excuse to avoid interacting with his family. But of course, they, for some reason, all seemed to hog your attention from the moment you arrived at the Afterglow Savannah. Cheka wanted to decorate the tree with you. His sister-in-law took you away with his mother to talk wedding details and planing Leona didn’t quite care to participate in. The only time he got to see you was at dinner, because often times, you’d either come back to your room late or he’d find you already asleep.
The final straw was Christmas Eve. Leona had hoped for some time alone with you only for you to get swept away by Farena to help wrap gifts. It was well after 1am by the time you came to bed due to the sheer number of gifts he had bought Cheka.
At that point, damn Christmas and damn the gifts. All Leona wanted at this point was you and a moment of alone time before he went mad from having to watch another corny Christmas movie or pretend to like his sister-in-law’s awful cooking.
“Leona, don’t be such a grinch, smile a little. It’s Christmas!” Farena chided, making the younger Kingscholar roll his eyes. It was finally Christmas Day, and of course, Cheka woke everyone up with his excited yells at five in the morning. Needless to say, Leona was less than thrilled about having his sleep interrupted because “Santa came.”
“Be grateful I’m even here,” Leona muttered under his breath.
The family gathered in the living room, the adults sleepily making their ways in with coffee in hand and an excited five year old at the center of it all. Leona sat on the far end of the couch, immediately closing his eyes and trying to ignore Cheka’s questions about which gifts he could open first. Dressed in your robe, You plop down beside him and lean against his shoulder. You look exhausted, but hide it well with a smile.
For the next couple hours, everyone opens their own gifts. You got a few nice things from your wishlist, Leona gifting you the most expensive (despite your protests) being a new set of headphones you were eyeing. And he was quite pleased with one of your gifts to him, new spell drive equipment, among other things he received from his brother, parents, and Neji.
“Oh, Leona, I got one more gift for you,” you whisper. There’s a cheeky smile on your face as you reach into your robe’s pocket and pull out a small wrapped black box.
“Huh?” Leona’s ears twitched in slight annoyance. “We only agreed to do one gift this year.”
“I know but you’ll really like this one. But it’s for your eyes only. M’kay?” You kiss his cheek when you’re called by Farena’s wife to help make breakfast. After giving one last wink to Leona you skip off.
Confused yet curious as to what you had planned, he undoes the silk red ribbon holding the box together. Carefully, Leona lifts the lid. There’s nothing but a bunch of tissue paper inside. He pulls the paper out and at the bottom of the box is a small piece of the same red ribbon and a photo. Upon seeing what the picture is actually of, Leona immediately closes the box back before anyone else could accidentally see what was meant clearly for his eyes only.
“That little…ha…” Leona sighs, a grin spreading across his face.
He definitely wasn’t expecting that. But he surely was going to enjoy every bit of this gift. And if Cheka was allowed to be impatient, waking everyone up at the ass crack of dawn to open gifts, then Leona felt justified to do the same. He wanted to unwrap the rest of his gift now.
In the kitchen, you were helping the women make breakfast. You half paid attention to their conversations, mind drifting to Leona and what he thought of your little gift. You were quite excited and wished you could’ve seen his instant reaction to the surprise you had left in the box.
“Oi, Leona, if you’re not going to help in here then get out,” Farena’s wife scolded. You look up from what you were mixing to see your fiancé who has quite an unreadable expression on his face. But the intense look in his emerald eyes told you all you needed to know.
He opened your gift.
And you were in for it.
“I need to borrow Y/n,” Leona said, pushing past the lioness to you. “I’ll bring her right back. I forgot to have her open up one more gift from me.”
“What! Wait-“
“Just let them go,” Leona’s mom chuckles. She gives you a knowing wink, shooing you two away.
“But-“ Farena’s wife begins to protest.
Leona ignores her, grabs you by the arm, and drags you out the kitchen quickly. His pace is fast as he walks through the hall with a clear destination in mind. You can’t help but giggle, antsy excitement coursing through your veins. The two of you arrive at your shared room and he immediately locks the door.
“Leo~I was busy helping,” you feign innocence. “It was rude to interrupt.”
“I don’t care,” Leona said , taking a step closer to you. “Your little note was cute. Expecting me to wait until tonight for my gift?”
“Patience is a virtue you know.”
“And I don’t recall ever claiming to be a patient or virtuous man.” He takes a seat on the bed, spreading his legs slightly. Like a king on his throne. “Take it off.”
You undo the tie around your robe, letting the fabric slide down your shoulders slowly. Leona’s eyes seemed to dilate as he took in the attire you wore underneath: A sheer red baby doll. White lacy under garments and stockings with red bow detailing everywhere.
“You’re such a vixen wearing that underneath while around my family,” Leona lets out a shaky breath as he pulls you closer to him. “You did this on purpose, did ya?”
“Mhm maybe,” you tease, shivering as his thumb traces across your hips. “To be fair, not being able to see was equally annoying on my part. You don’t know how many boring meetings I had to have with your mother about flower arrangements and table decor. But she should get the others to leave us alone for a few hours.”
“Yeah? And how’d you convince her to do that?”
Your grin is wicked. “I might’ve promised her a new grand baby if I could have you to myself on Christmas.”
Leona’s eyes widened briefly before a smirk settled on his face. He could feel his cock stir within his pants. “Well, then, I guess we should deliver.” Leona pulls you into his lap, smashing his lips against yours in a frivolous and desperate kiss. He groans against your mouth as your hips rock against his, intense heat blossoming between the two of you. “You know,” Leona mumbles, “you’re almost too pretty to unwrap. I could admire this gift for hours.”
“I thought you were impatient,” you pant. Leona’s hands tightened around your waist. His teeth graze across your neck making you shiver.
“I am. But I still want to admire my beautiful fiancé.”
“B-but this gift was for you.” you whimper out as Leona nips at your neck, squeezing your breast through the bralette. “So let me admire you too.”
You slide out of Leona’s lap to kneel between his legs. His thighs tense as you trace your delicate hands up them to the drawstring of his pajama pants. The crotch bulges, the fabric held high by his erection. He groans when you grope him.
“Don’t tease me,” Leona warns. “Otherwise I’ll make you regret it.”
“So impatient,” you laugh, pulling his cock out of the confines of his boxers.
Leona lets out a shaky moan as your mouth envelops around the swollen head of his cock. You immediately take him deep, tears springing against your eyelashes as you begin to suck. “Fuck don’t stop,” Leona groans. His fingers tangle themselves in your hair, grabbing a fistful of it. His hips jerk up. Your tongue tracing the sensitive vein on his shaft. “Fuck. I’m gonna move you. Let me know if it’s too much.”
“Mhm.”
His other hand grips your head. He then roughly thrusts up while simultaneously forcing your head down his length. You whimper as you begin to gag. Tears trickle down your cheeks as Leona continues to fuck your mouth, his low grunts turning into quick pants. “Such a good fucking girl, taking my cock like this. Gonna swallow all of me okay?”
Leona’s eyes scrunch shut as he comes down your throat. He lets out a shaky moan, keeping a tight hold on your head so you can’t pull away. Your body trembles. Your eyes roll back as the lightheaded feeling makes you dizzy.
“Swallow,” Leona commands. And you do, opening your mouth to show you had. “Heh. Come here.”
His hands settle on your waist as he takes in your lingerie. His gaze a mix of adoration and lust that leaves you feeling bashful under the heat of his stare. “So fucking pretty.” Your cheeks warm and you stare at the floor, making him chuckle. “Why so shy now? You were quite bold earlier leaving that photo in that box with your cute little note. What did it say again?”
You climb back into his lap. Your breath hitches as his cock brushes against your clothed clit. Your panties soaked and needy, desperately wanting Leona in your most intimate region. “I don’t remember,” you tease. “Maybe remind me?”
Leona grins. His hands are soft against your skin. “I think it said something like…hurry up. And what else? Your pretty pussy is waiting to be unwrapped?”
“Hm that sounds about right. So then-“ You rock your hips against Leona’s. “What are you still waiting for?”
His mouth is on yours again, sucking all the remaining air out of your lungs. The two of you tumble into the bed, tearing at each other’s clothes until there’s nothing separating the two of you except your lacy panties. Leona has you pinned underneath him. He traces down your jaw and the side of your neck, biting down on the sensitive spot near your clavicle.
“Since your pretty pussy was wrapped up so nicely for me, it is only fair if I have a little taste, no?”
Leona settles in between your legs, pressing his nose against your cunt to inhale your intoxicating smell. He suppresses a groan. Your scent alone was addicting. It was like he was drunk on you, and he couldn’t think about anything but the way you’d feel around his cock. But first-
He pulls down your panties with his teeth. Dragging the thin fabric around the curve of your plush thighs before dropping them on the floor. Your folds are glistening with your arousal, pretty and puffy. And all his.
With a tight grip on your thighs, Leona takes a lick at your core, pressing his rough tongue against your pussy’s lips. The first wave of pleasure shoots through you which has you trembling. “You taste so good,” Leona groans. He eats you out greedily, tongue moving in and out of your folds.
“Fuck Leona!” Your back arches off the bed as Leona nips at your clit. He buries his face deeper in between your thighs, bringing you to the brink of release. Your body tries to writhe away from him, but his grip keeps you pinned down. You come with a low cry, Leona’s name on your tongue.
Leona drinks you down. His cock is now painfully stiff against his abdomen. All just from the addicting taste of your arousal. He stifles a groan, wrapping his hand around his shaft. He was so hard it fucking hurt.
“I’m going to fuck you in every way possible,” Leona says, licking his lips clean. The tip of his cock prods at your wet entrance. He grips your hips, trying to ease himself in. “I’m going to pump you so full of my cum that there’s no way you won’t leave this room without getting pregnant. After all, you were the one that went behind my back and promised my mother a grand kid.”
You wrap your arms around his neck, pulling him close to whisper, “then you better get to it.”
Leona growls. He pushes into your cunt, groaning at how you squeeze around him. His head drops to your shoulder as his body trembles as a wave of pleasure courses through him. A low curse leaves his lips.
“L-Leo? Y-you okay?” You whimper.
“Just give me a minute.” He kisses you, softly this time. “I’m trying to control myself so that I don’t hurt you.”
“It’s okay. You can be a little rough.”
Leona’s ears twitch. He could feel his dick throb at your words. You groan as his size seems to swell.
“Heh, you asked for it.” Leona folds your legs to your chest making you gasp. “Don’t go begging me to stop later. Because I’m not until you’re carrying my cubs.”
“Please fuck me, Leona,” you mewl.
Rolling his hips, Leona pulled his cock from your hole and with a sharp snap, drove himself back into you. The sheer force of his scorching length shot the first wave of pleasure through the both of you. The two of you let out low moans.
Your body shuddered slightly anticipation. You clung to Leona and dug your nails in his shoulders trying to keep him close. That first penetration gave way to a succession of increasingly rougher thrusts that took your breath away.
“A-ah L-leona t-too much,” you babble. Leona growls, pushing your legs closer, burying his cock even deeper. “Leona!”
“I told you-“ Leona grunts, continuing his brutal pace. “You asked for it. You wanted it rough.” His cock kisses that particular sweet spot, making your insides tense. You cry out as your orgasm leaves you seeing stars. Your legs shake over his shoulder, and a tight pressure coils within your stomach.
“Fuck you’re squeezing me so much,” Leona groaned. “You like when I pound into you like this, don’t ya? Your pussy’s gonna fuckin’ kill me.” Your nails rake into his back, leaving bright red marks. You clamp down on his shoulder, biting so hard you broke the skin. Leona lets out a low hiss. “I’m gonna come-“
A loud moan left his lips. His hips stilled and his release hit. You shivered feeling yourself be filled while your own orgasm hit, this time with more intensity. Leona slowly pulled out and sat back on his heels. His seed leaks from your swollen sex on to the bed sheets. You let out a quiet whimper and push your fingers into your cunt, trying to stop it from spilling out. Once more, his cock stirs, the carnal desire within him burning.
“Are you okay?” Leona swallows, trying to maintain a sense of control. You sleepily nod. “Good.”
You squeak as you’re suddenly and roughly manhandled. Leona flips you on to your hands and knees, shoving your face into the pillows. “L-Leona-“
“Sorry, kitten-“ You gasp as he enters once more, his thick cock stretching your walls until you feel so full of him. Leona squeezes your hips, pushing his cock deeper. “but I want to enjoy my gift a little longer.”
~*~
You and Leona had been gone for hours.
Breakfast passes without your presence. And needless to say, neither Farena nor Neji are pleased. It is only due to Farena’s mother’s insistence that the two don’t venture off to look for the missing family members.
“Just leave them be,” the older lioness would dismiss.
“But mother, Leona-“ Farena huffed.
“It’s fine. They’re probably busy with wedding stuff. Some things they need to figure out on their own as a couple.”
You and Leona don’t emerge until right before dinner, trying to act as inconspicuous as possible. Like you hadn’t snuck off to fuck for a couple hours.
“Auntie Y/n!” Cheka excitedly runs over to you. You bend down, despite the ache in your hips and lower back to catch his hug. Cheka gives you an odd look as you pick him up. He looks at you then to Leona, back to you and then his uncle. It’s like he’s searching for something and when he doesn’t find it, he sulks in disappointment.
“Whatcha looking for Cheka?” Farena asks.
“Auntie said she and Leona would give me a cousin for Christmas, but I don’t see them.” The cub continues to pout.
Immediately, your face explodes red, and Leona rubs his temple in annoyance. The situation doesn’t improve as now the attention is on the two of you and what you were most likely doing in your absence. Leona and Farena’s mother only laughs in amusement. She spent the last several hours covering for you, so if you didn’t have a grandchild for her in the next nine months she’d be highly disappointed.

"till you tell me to leave" - a bangchan oneshot by @cosmicalily
author's note: i found a half-written draft for this in my old google docs with my other email account and immediately knew i needed to do a rewrite.
warnings: angst (breakup, exes to lovers)
Three days, twenty-three hours and fifty-nine minutes.
Four days.
Four days and one minute.
Another sleepless night. You didn’t mean to count the minutes, but your eyes remained fixated on your phone, half watching the clock, half staring at the lock screen you’d neglected to change.
Everything around you brought back floods of memories that you didn’t want to deal with. Pictures from photo booths, his arm slung around your shoulder, his hand on your cheek, his lips pressed to your forehead. The one hoodie you’d managed to hold onto, even after he’d packed all his other belongings up when he left. The pre-workout he kept in the back of your pantry. His toothbrush in your bathroom drawer.
He’d been yours in every way, and you’d been his.
Maybe this was why you’d been so scared to love your best friend; you knew that more came with risk, chances of slamming doors, crying each other's names, and duffle bags hastily filled.
Even when you’d ended things, why were you still writing pages, when he’d been the one to close the envelope? Why were you spending hours nestled on the couch in his hoodie, staring at a black tv screen, unaware of the world around you?
new message from 'channie'
i think i left my hoodie at yours. you home?
i’m driving over.
A part of you wanted to run into the bathroom, brush your hair, remove the two-day old mascara on your eyes and change into something nice. A part of you remembered he’d seen you in every single form, and he loved you regardless.
He used to tell you how beautiful you were every minute of the day, even when you felt anything but. Did he miss saying those things now? Or did he have another girl to call his angel, his baby, his darling?
Just the thought made you feel sick to your stomach.
new message from 'channie'
outside.
Taking a deep breath and slipping on your sneakers, you began walking down the hallway of your apartment building. Even though the elevator wasn’t broken for once, you wanted to take the stairs. You needed time to think, and time to turn back if you felt the need.
Why were you so easily coming to him? Well, technically you weren’t, were you? He wanted his hoodie back, presumably the one you were currently wearing.
He’d broken your heart. No, not broken. Slowly tugged at it, until nothing that remained was a dull ache and your pulse.
You thought about turning back, about yelling in his face, about simply bursting into tears and curling up into a ball at the bottom of the staircase, until your neighbour came and yelled at you for disturbing everyone’s sleep at 12:29am.
You thought about these things, but you never felt like acting on them.
What was the point, anyway?
You never would have meant it.
You spotted his familiar black car, the scratch on the bottom from when he’d practised parallel parking, the Sharpie stars you’d drawn with him whilst drunk on his windscreen. You felt your heart swell a little, and even more so when the figure inside the vehicle turned his head to look directly into your eyes.
In silence, you walked over and sat down in the passenger seat, doing your best to look at everything but him. He nodded, pressing his lips together in a thin line, and started the engine. He looked down at your torso, noticing his hoodie, but didn’t make a move to retrieve it. You didn’t attempt to take it off.
“I miss you,” you whispered, barely audibly.
“Hm?”
“Your seatbelt isn’t on,” you replied.
“I was in a rush.”
There was a sudden quiet. The click of his seatbelt, then yours, then the gentle hum of the car as he began to drive.
“You’re wearing the hoodie I left,” Chris finally said softly, eyes focused on the road ahead.
You ignored him. You didn’t really know where he was taking you, and you honestly couldn’t care less. He almost felt like a stranger. A stranger you’d poured your heart out to, and spent hours with, pressing kisses to each other's faces whilst watching movies, watching work out in the gym, cooking food for and dancing while doing the dishes with. A stranger who had been the vast majority of your firsts, who knew your body like the back of his hand, and spent long minutes in the latest and earliest hours loving you, worshipping you.
A stranger who’d been your everything.
As you drove in silence, apart from the soft rhythm of his playlist in the background, his hand found its way to yours, and gently caressed your fingers, as if asking for permission.
You allowed your palm to open.
His fingers tucked into yours, and his thumb brushed against your hand.
His hand felt warm, familiar. His fingertips were calloused; a result of the way he gripped his pen when he frantically wrote his lyrics late at night.
The car slowed down, then stopped completely. He’d pulled over on the side of a road, in the middle of nowhere. It was ghostly silent, and the trees cast shadows through the headlights.
It was oddly comforting.
“I fucked up.”
“I know you did, Chris.”
He covered his face in his hands in frustration, letting go of yours in the process. Your hand felt a sudden coldness.
“I didn’t . . . I don’t know why I left you. I nearly called you, right after I left. I thought . . . I thought you’d want space, thought I shouldn’t have to put you through anymore. And you were getting fed up with me, I didn’t think you wanted me anymore.”
“I was still in love with you.”
“Was? Past tense?”
“I still love you. I didn’t necessarily fall out of love, Chris, I just . . . I felt like I lost a part of me. Everything felt familiar and distant at the same time, and there were traces of you everywhere. I couldn’t sleep.”
“I can never sleep.”
“I know.”
“I’ve been sleeping even less since I left. The bed’s cold.”
“Same with mine.”
You paused, staring at each other. Chris faced you properly.
“I’m still in love with you. And I’ll try forever if it means I can make you fall again.”
You smiled a little, letting your hand trail up his arm and wrap around his shoulders, resting your face in his warm neck. His hands moved to your waist, moving under his hoodie and settling on your bare skin. “We should probably get some sleep,” you mumbled into him.
“Your place?”
“Our place. I still have your toothbrush, I think. And more than one of your hoodies.”
“Even if you don't, it doesn't matter,” Chris replied, clasping your hand in his again and gesturing to the backseat. His duffle bag sat there, zipped up, seemingly untouched since he’d left. “I’m coming home. If you’ll let me, of course.”
“You won’t leave?”
“Not unless you say so.”
“So never?”
“Never.”

You’re my ideal type
Summary: A video from a year ago of Oscar talking about his ideal type went viral, making his fans wonder why he chose his girlfriend. This leaves y/n with a lot of questions herself .
Note: First time writing for Oscar! I kinda went with the flow. Let me know what you think! 😌
Reader x Oscar Piastri
Genre: fluff/angst
It was a beautiful, sunny day in Monaco. I was out with two of my friends, enjoying brunch together and soaking up the good vibes.
We spent hours talking, laughing, and joking around—overall, it was a fantastic time.
Afterward, we decided to go for a stroll. That’s when we stumbled upon a gorgeous spot with an incredible view. For girls, that can only mean one thing: a photo session. And, of course, we took full advantage.
We snapped countless pictures of each other—exactly what I needed. I’d been wanting to update my Instagram feed, and I knew Oscar would appreciate a few of these too. A win-win situation if you ask me.
Hours later, we decided to head home. Parting ways was bittersweet, but we all had things to do.
When I finally arrived at the place Oscar and I shared, I immediately went inside, feeling my social battery completely drained.
I glanced at the clock and sighed. There were still a few hours to go before Oscar would be home. Feeling a little bored, I decided to tackle some household chores to pass the time.
Eventually, I finished everything and switched to full-on "bed rotting" mode. As I scrolled mindlessly on my phone, I remembered the stunning photos we’d taken earlier.
Sitting up, I started going through them, carefully picking out the best ones to upload to Instagram.

fashionistaformula I can't be the only one thinking about that one interview of Oscar?
paistryln481 You're not alone, every time I see her I keep thinking about it
foryoutt16 Wait what? I'm lost, what happened?
cocosainzyy55 @foryoutt16 An old interview of Oscar when he was still in F2 resurfaced and he was talking about his ideal type and the description he gave matches nothing to his current girlfriend. People are suddenly bringing this up again, wondering why he didn't choose his ideal type.
foryoutt16 Oh damn that's rough...
The comments and likes flooded in, as they always did. Sometimes, I forgot that I was dating an F1 driver—it came with its own kind of spotlight.
But as I scrolled through the comments under my post, a few things caught my attention.
One comment in particular stood out: something about an old interview of Oscar.
Confused and curious, I decided to look it up. Little did I know, I was about to regret it...
My stomach twisted into knots as I watched the video, realization sinking in. Oscar described his ideal woman, and her characteristics were unlike ones I possessed. I felt a wave of insecurities and doubts wash over me, each word a reminder of how I didn't fit the bill for his ideal partner.
My heart sank with every word he spoke, describing his ideal woman's qualities - and every one felt like another reminder of how far off the mark I was.
I couldn't help but wonder, "Why did he choose me?" His words stung, and I questioned whether he settled for less than his ideal because he didn't have better options.
On cue, as if the universe was playing a cruel joke, Oscar returned home and called out my name. His voice echoed through the hallway, a stark contrast to the turmoil churning inside me. I hesitated, a mix of fear and confusion gripping me, as I debated whether to face him with this newfound knowledge.
He entered the room with a warm smile, oblivious to the storm brewing inside me. He greeted me with a gentle kiss on the forehead before starting to speak in sweet words.
"Hey babe, how was your day?" he asked, completely unaware of the recent discovery I made.
I forced a smile, trying to hide the turmoil inside as I replied, "It was fine," my voice trying to mask the disappointment and insecurity that bubbled up.
The words left my lips, sounding hollow compared to the usual warmth in my tone.
Oscar sensed the hint of falsity in my fake smile. His observant nature picked up on the subtle cues of my distress, and he recognized that something was off. Yet, instead of immediately asking about it, he chose to hold off, observing to see if I would bring it up.
Oscar wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. He kissed my temple gently, his touch providing a temporary sense of comfort.
He knew something was bothering me and chose not to press, offering a moment of respite instead. "Do you want takeout?" he asked, his voice filled with tenderness.
I replied softly, trying to match his tenderness, "Sounds good." Despite my conflicting emotions, I didn't want to dampen the mood by revealing my insecurities.
"Takeout sounds great," I said, attempting to sound cheerful.
Oscar reluctantly let go of me, reaching for the phone to place the takeout order. In his absence, I seized the opportunity to sneak a look in the mirror, as well as to search for pictures of Oscar's ideal type.
I scoured the internet, comparing every aspect of my appearance to the images of his ideal woman. The comparison fueled my insecurities, amplifying the feeling of not measuring up.
My tears threatened to spill as I stood there, comparing myself to Oscar's ideal, but before they could, I heard Oscar's voice calling out.
"Y/n baby, the food will be here in twenty minutes," he informed me. I swiftly wiped away the tears before responding, attempting to hide the vulnerability in my voice, "Okay, thanks for letting me know."
Splashing my face with water to compose myself, hoping to hide any traces of my tears and distress. With determination, I dried my face and returned to the room where Oscar was, trying to mask my vulnerability.
After the food came, we ate together. I was quiet, it was mainly Oscar talking which was odd because normally it was always me talking and he would listen. We were currently cuddled up together after eating
Despite our cozy cuddle on the couch, my mind was preoccupied with worries. Thoughts like "What if he leaves me?" and "What if I'm not good enough?" consumed me.
Oscar noticed my distraction and asked if I was alright, concern in his voice. I replied, "Just tired," and although he didn't fully believe it, he decided not to push further.
Oscar spoke up once more, his voice soft and reassuring. "Y/n?" he began, his eyes searching mine.
"You know I love you, right? If there's anything bothering you, you know you can tell me," he emphasized, his tone filled with patience and support.
I nodded, attempting to hide the depth of my worries and insecurities. "Yeah, I know. I love you too," I responded, trying to sound reassuring.
The words felt heavy, knowing the weight of my unspoken fears.
A few weeks had passed since that moment of insecurity, and I had been avoiding Oscar, even though we lived together. I had made excuses to skip every Grand Prix , claiming I was too busy with work.
Yet, here I was, facing the mirror on the morning of a home race, feeling utterly unprepared. The interview weighed heavily on my mind, and I wasn't in the right state to face it.
Standing in front of my reflection, I looked at myself, thoughts of my inadequacy resurfacing.
Oscar entered the room, his gaze settling on me. He positioned himself behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his chin on my head.
His presence brought both comfort and nerves as I stood in front of the mirror, still grappling with my insecurities.
He spoke softly, his compliment genuine and sweet. "I didn't know it was possible to be this pretty. You look amazing love," he murmured, his voice filled with affection.
I stepped away from him, the compliment not offering the comfort it usually would. My actions were distant, as if I was subconsciously putting up a barrier.
"Thanks," I responded distantly, my tone devoid of the warmth that usually accompanied my words.
The fear of his departure and my sense of inadequacy still lingered in my heart, casting a shadow over the moment.
Oscar seemed puzzled by my distant behavior, his confusion evident. Seeing right through my attempt to avoid him, he asked gently,
"Baby, did I do something wrong? Why are you avoiding me?"
His voice was tinged with concern, his eyes filled with hurt at my distance.
I quickly responded, trying to change the subject. "No, you did nothing wrong. Uhm, shouldn't you leave for the race?"
Oscar looked at me, his gaze lingering on me before reluctantly letting it go.
"Wait, weren't you coming with me?" he questioned, his tone hinting at his confusion.
I responded with a slightly busted attitude, "Oh, uhm, I'm not done getting ready yet. I'll come later, though."
It was a lie, and Oscar seemed to sense that something was off.
Despite the passing time, he decided to focus on his own preparations while stealing a moment to kiss my forehead before leaving.
I took a moment to muster my courage, realizing that Oscar didn't deserve being pushed away because of my insecurities.
With a deep breath, I prepared myself to face the day and attend the race, pushing through the weight of my doubts.
As the hours flew by, I found myself standing in the garage, watching from afar, torn between my worries and the desire to support him.
After awhile I decided to go to the restroom since I still had some time before the race started.
As I was walking, I heard voices behind me, and my name being mentioned caught my attention.
I stopped to listen—not that I meant to eavesdrop, but hearing my name made it impossible not to.
From what I could tell, these girls were likely McLaren fangirls. Well duh after all, they were dressed in papaya colors.
Girl 1: "It's crazy that Oscar is still dating y/n. She doesn't even fit his ideal type."
Girl 2: "I know, right? Like, she's not even close."
Girl 3: "Yeah, he must be leading her on or something."
Girl 4: "Or maybe she's in it for the fame and money."
Girl 5: "Oh, definitely. There's no other reason she would be with him."
The girls' laughter echoed in my ears, each comment like a punch to my heart.
Girl 2: "Seriously, you'd think he could do better than her."
Girl 1: "Yeah, she's not even that attractive compared to the other girls he's dated before."
Girl 3: "I bet he'll realize soon that he could get someone way better."
Girl 4: "Well, if the fame and money aren't enough, then he's definitely settling."
I couldn't bear to listen any longer, my tears streaming as I fled to the restroom, seeking solace to hide my distress.
Time slipped away as I stayed there, isolated, wrestling with my tormenting thoughts and self-doubts.
Meanwhile, the McLaren garage buzzed with pre-race energy, but Oscar couldn’t focus. His eyes darted around the paddock, scanning for any sign of you.
Anxiety churned in his gut as he spotted his teammate leaning casually against a workbench.
“Lando!” Oscar called, walking over briskly.
Lando glanced up, eyebrows raised. “What’s up, mate?”
Oscar hesitated before blurting out, “Have you seen Y/N anywhere?”
Lando frowned, clearly puzzled. “No, mate, haven’t seen her. Matter of fact, I don’t think I’ve seen her around for the last few races. Is everything okay?”
Oscar sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I don’t know, mate. She’s been so distant lately, and I have no idea what I’ve done to upset her.”
Lando’s expression softened, a mix of pity and thoughtfulness. “Could it maybe have to do with that video that went viral again?”
Oscar blinked, confused. “What video? That old F2 interview of mine? That was years ago! I was just joking in most of it anyway.”
Lando shrugged, giving him a pointed look. “Mate, you might want to check the comments under her recent Instagram post. I think that’s your answer.”
With a sympathetic pat on the back, Lando turned and walked off, leaving Oscar alone with his thoughts.
He pulled out his phone, his fingers quickly navigating to your profile. The comments under your latest post hit him like a brick.
“Oh no,” Oscar muttered, his stomach sinking. “No wonder she’s been distant…”
He mentally kicked himself, remembering that dumb interview where he’d been too cocky for his own good.
“I didn’t even mean half the stuff I said,” he whispered to himself, cringing at the memory.
Before he could search for you and explain himself, a crew member called his name, dragging him toward the car for pre-race preparations.
“Great timing,” he muttered under his breath. But he made a promise to himself: as soon as this race was over, he’d find you and make things right.
Meanwhile, back to you, the restroom break had taken longer than expected. The initial plan to kill time before the race started had backfired; now, a dull ache was forming in my head, and I couldn’t shake the feeling of unease creeping up on me.
I leaned against the sink for a moment, taking a deep breath. “This is ridiculous,” I muttered to myself, but the discomfort wasn’t going away.
Deciding it was best not to push myself, I pulled out my phone and quickly typed a message to Oscar:
Not feeling great. Heading back home. Don’t worry about me.
I hesitated before hitting send. He’d probably be confused or even concerned, but the last thing I wanted was to worry him.
With a sigh, I hit send and slipped my phone back into my bag.
As I stepped out of the restroom and headed for the exit, I couldn’t help but feel a pang of guilt.
On the way, I also let Oscar's manager know I left, just in case he didn't check his phone.
I knew Oscar would notice my absence, but today, it felt easier to retreat than to stay and face everything swirling in my mind.
Little did I know, Oscar was already worrying.
The race had ended, with Oscar clinching a solid P4, just behind Lando. Though pleased with his result, his mind was elsewhere.
He wanted nothing more than to see you, to feel your arms around him, and hear you tell him how proud you were—just like old times.
But as he scanned the crowd, his hope began to waver. You weren’t there.
His manager noticed Oscar’s distracted gaze and approached him. “Looking for Y/N?” the manager asked gently.
“She left you a message. Said she wasn’t feeling well and headed home.”
Oscar’s jaw tightened, his heart sinking. You hadn’t told him the truth.
A mix of frustration and hurt bubbled to the surface. Without a word, he decided to skip the team celebrations and headed straight home.
When Oscar arrived, he didn’t waste a second. Dropping his bag by the door, he called out loudly—his voice sharper than usual.
“Y/N!”
You were downstairs in no time, a soft smile on your face.
“Oh, hey, Osc! You’re back early. How was the race?” I asked sweetly, trying to act normal.
But Oscar wasn’t having it. His expression was hard as he stared at you.
“You would’ve known if you didn’t leave,” he said, his voice laced with frustration.
Guilt washed over me, and you stammered, “I’m sorry, Osc. I wasn’t feeling well—”
“Cut the crap, Y/N!” he interrupted, startling you. His voice was raised, something he rarely did.
“When are you going to finally admit the real reason you’ve been like this? Tell me! I’m sick of it!”
I flinched but couldn’t blame him. He deserved an explanation. At the same time, I’d had enough, too. My emotions spilled out, my voice breaking.
“How would you feel if people kept telling you that your partner is too good for you? That you’re not good enough, that you’re too ugly, not their type, only with them for the money?!”
Tears streamed down my face as you continued.
“And yes, it’s about that stupid interview of yours! I can’t help it, okay? Call me dumb, call me a crybaby, but this is too much!”
By now, I was full-on sobbing, unable to meet his gaze. But before I could crumble further, I felt his arms wrap around me, pulling me close.
His voice was soft now, gentle. “Why didn’t you tell me, baby? I could’ve helped. We’re a team, remember?”
I sniffled, my voice trembling as I replied, “Those were your words, Oscar. I can’t take them back or change them.”
He sighed, his hand running soothingly up and down your back. “Babe, that interview was years ago. I was joking around the entire time. If you’d watched the whole thing, you’d see that.”
I shook my head, unsure, but he leaned back just enough to look at me.
“Since when is my favorite color pink?” he teased, a small laugh escaping him.
Despite yourself, you let out a small laugh, too.
“That's better,” he said, smiling.
“Listen to me. Everything I said in that interview wasn’t true. I was 18, tired, and didn’t even want to be there. I was just trolling to get it over with.”
I laughed again at his confession, finally meeting his eyes.
“There’s that pretty smile,” he said, his tone softer now. “I’m sorry you had to deal with that, but next time, talk to me, okay?”
I nodded, wiping your tears. “I will. I’m sorry for doubting you… for pushing you away.”
He smiled warmly, leaning in to peck your lips a few times.
“It’s okay, love. I get why you did it. But don’t you ever doubt yourself again, yeah? You’re the most beautiful girl in the world. If anyone doesn’t deserve someone, it’s me. How did I get so lucky, huh?”
He cupped your face, his thumb gently caressing your cheek before pulling you into a long, passionate kiss. When he finally pulled back, his forehead rested against yours.
“Don’t you ever doubt yourself,” he whispered. “You’re my ideal type. Always.”
I laughed softly. “Alright, alright, I get it.”
Suddenly, Oscar scooped me up into his arms, bridal style, making me squeal.
“Osc! What the hell are you doing? Put me down!”
He grinned, shaking his head as he headed toward the bedroom.
“Nope. Let me show my gorgeous girl how much I love her.”
And let’s just say, the night ended perfectly. From that moment on, I never doubted his love for me ever again.

Younger Years Pt. 3
Part 2
Summary: Damian gets temp de-aged to 6yrs old; cue him asking where his twin is. This is how everyone finds out about Danny's existence Word Count: 1664
The next morning when Damian woke up everyone was much more prepared to deal with his inevitable attack. The restraint on his ankle and Alfred the cat still napping on him helped deal with most of the initall anger that radiated off him though. The goal right now was to convince Damian that he had been de-aged, and all he needed to do was stay with them until the magic wore off.
The topic of Danyal would come later, for now they needed to focus on Damian.
Everyone had also prepared an item to show Damian to prove to him that they were telling the truth about his current situation. Alfred was first and had brought him a cup of tea the exact way the young boy preferred when he had first joined them at the manor. Duke showed Damian his school yearbook, and had marked which pages had an older Damian in them. Jason rummaged through the art room and pulled out a few old sketchbooks.
Those had done well enough to calm the baby assassin down so that Bruce was able to explain the details to the young Damian. Which only served to make him think that instead of this being a test from his grandfather it was actually a scheme to draw him away from his birthright as one of the heirs to the demon head.
To help further convince him Tim printed out the first DNA test they had done with Damian; making sure to note that the dates on these can’t be altered. Then Dick had showed him photos of him dressed in his Robin costume. What was strange though is that Damian didn’t look pridefully at the photos, only confused.
Finally it was Bruce’s turn and no one was surprised when it turned out to be a family photo album. It was filled with photos of everyone from the last few years. Pictures of both big and small moments that the family had gone through. What was surprising though is when Damian practically exploded with rage with every page he turned.
“Chum, is something wro-” Bruce tries to start once he sees how affected the photo album is making him. Only for said book to be launched at his head before he can finish speaking.
“Get out!” Damian snarls as his eyes dart to everyone around the room as he repeats his words, “Get out!”
“I told you this wasn’t going to work.”
“Not now, Jason.”
Dick makes an obvious move of wanting to comfort Damian, but is clearly holding himself back knowing that his succor would only make things worse. “Dami…”
“You do not have the right to call me that,” Damian's breath starts to speed up with tears threatening to spill from his eyes. “The only one that will ever be allowed to use that name has apparently been long absent from my life. So I will repeat myself only once more; get out.”
No one makes any move to leave at first and it isn’t until Tim clears his throat as well as putting a hand on Bruce’s shoulder does the others finally move. It takes both Duke and Tim to get Bruce out of the room, and Jason ends up having to practically drag Dick out.
“Why did you pull me away from him! He was clearly on the verge of a breakdown based around the fact that Danyal, his twin, never came here with him! Damian needs someone to be with him right now!” Dick angrily breaks out of Jason's hold on him.
Jason, immediately matching Dick’s tone retorts, “Since when has that kid ever liked having family much less strangers comfort him? Cause newsflash Dickiebird that what we are to him right now, nothing but strangers who are trying to act way too familiar with him. The only thing your sympathy will do right now is just make things worse!”
“I’m not going to let my currently 6 year old baby brother mourn a death by himself!”
“We don’t actually know if Danyal is dead or not right now. Just that he didn’t arrive with Damian at the manor 4 years ago.” Tim interjects before any more arguing between the two can continue. “For all we know Ra’s could have sent one twin away to here while keeping the other involved with the league.”
“Wouldn’t have Damian said something by now if that was the case? He obviously cared a lot for Danyal.” Duke honestly doesn’t know what the right decision is right now, but he’s more inclined to agree with Jason right now.
Tim runs a hand through his hair in thought, “14 year old Damian, maybe. The Damian that first arrived at the manor four years ago, no way. Especially if he was told explicitly not to say anything. That little brat was still deep in the league mindset, and would have done anything Talia or Ra’s said.”
“Wouldn’t have Ra’s already used Danyal against Bruce though? He’s had plenty of opportunities to use the knowledge of a second child to get B to do practically anything for him. What possible scenario would he be saving that information for?” Dick at this point seems to have calmed down. He’s still obviously wanting to be with Damian, but also knows that Jason is right about how his presence wouldn’t be appreciated at the moment.
Jason instead of offering any answers to Dick’s questions turns to direct his lingering anger at Bruce, “You’re being awfully fucking quiet right now B, what do you have to say about all this?”
“... I think it’s time to call Talia. I wanted to wait and give Damian the chance to explain himself before doing so, but if the league does still have Danyal we need to start planning his rescue as soon as possible.”
After asking the boys to keep an eye on Damian, and to check in on him every once in a while without distressing him more Bruce headed upstairs towards his office. Once there he silently stares at the phone in his hand.
It had been devastating to learn that he had a son, and missed out on so much of his life. Bruce had been angry at Talia, furious even, especially when she had raised Damian to be a child assassin. To learn that she had done this not once but twice shattered him. Even more so when he thinks about how his second son might still be a part of that life when he could have been living here with him instead.
The alternative to that thought though, the unfortunate more likely option, is that Danyal is dead.
That he had failed yet another child.
Bruce presses the number and puts the phone to ear. With each unanswered ring he sees flashes of what could have been if both boys had arrived that day. What was Danyal even like? Was he similar to Damian, or was he the complete opposite?
“Beloved, what a pleasant surprise hearing from you.”
“I know about Danyal.” Bruce leans back in his chair with his eyes closed. Today has already been exhausting, and he knows that it’s not going to get any better anytime soon. “What happened to him?”
The amount of silence that follows tells him that for maybe the first time he has truly shocked Talia with his words. Eventually though she answered, sorrow clear as day in her voice, “How much do you know?”
“I’d rather you tell me what you know right now.”
“Danyal died two weeks before Damian was sent to live with you.”
There it was, the hard truth. A child that he was never given the chance to hold, to meet, and to love was dead. Bruce had nothing to hold onto from a child that died way too young.
“My Father and Damian are the only ones that truly know what happened in that room; I didn’t even know at the time that he had pulled the two of them from their afternoon studies.” She continues softly, “By the time I reached them Danyal was gone. I imagine Ra’s wanted to make an example out of him because he had put his body into the pits … only he never came back out. The pits had even taken his body with them.”
“Did you never question what happened to him?”
“Ra’s told me it was none of my concern when I questioned him, and he forbade Damian from telling me himself. He had all evidence of Danyal erased after that; he only exists now in the memory of those who knew him.”
“Would you have ever told me about him?”
“No.”
“Hm.” Bruce doesn’t do anything more than acknowledging her response before hanging up, and putting the phone down. He wasn’t going to get any more information out of her, and he had more important things to focus on right than interrogating Talia. It seems they’re all just going to have to wait for Damian to learn what happened to Danyal anyway.
For now though he needs to go back downstairs and make sure they haven’t exploded into chaos due to his absence, but as he exits his office he makes a quiet promise to himself and Danyal. “Even in death you will be a part of this family; I’m so sorry you will never get the chance to know just how much they already love you.”
Once he reaches the batcave once more he sees Tim and Duke at the computer, Jason laid back with his feet on the center table, and Dick leaning by the med bay door. All of them though stop what they’re doing and look towards him as he enters; waiting for him to tell them what has become of the brother they’ve never met.
“Danyal is dead.” It hurts to watch his sons lose what little hope they had that maybe by the end of this their brother would be coming home.

paige bueckers x cheer!fem!reader
DESCRIPTION/ at the wnba draft you & paige show up together finally debuting y’all relationship
WARNINGS/ none (use of y/n AHHH ik ik pls 😔🔫 i swear i only use it like once!! don’t shoot the messenger girl didn’t you write this? shhh )
YOU WHERE IN THE HOTEL BATHROOM GETTING READY….safe to say you where scared no terrified for tonight. You put on your best face but you where drowning in your own mind “what if this goes wrong” “the medias ruthless” “what if-“ and that’s when paige’s voice brought you out of your head and back to reality
“you almost ready baby?” you shoot her a soft smile trying the mask your anxiousness “yeah..” you try your best to sound put together but after a year of being together and being friends for 3 she knows you like the back of her hand. “Hey..” she approached you gently her voice soft and comforting “What’s going on in that pretty head of yours hm?” she cups your face and moves a stand of hair out of your face tucking it behind your ear
you sigh softy “just nervous about tonight” you admit “if your having second thoughts we don’t have to-“ “no no I’m not having second thoughts well..maybe but I want this I do but you know with the media knowing and how they are it’s just nerve wracking and I don’t wanna ruin anything with you I know you have your NIL contract and stuff-“
she has a look of slight disbelief on her face “woah woah woah. you don’t wanna “ruin anything with me” baby you’re the best thing that ever happened to me you could never “ruin” anything in my life ever. so get that thought out of your head and as for the media screw ‘em people are always gonna have something to say. Plus if you don’t got haters then you ain’t poppin.” she says with a soft smirk. “You got me, I got you we’re good alright?” you nod her words of reassurance easing all your worries “Now come on pretty girl we have a draft to get to, and I need my gorgeous girl with me” she smiles placing her hands on your hips “okay okay let’s go” you laugh softly
You guys arrive to the draft squeezing your hand “Come on ma, you got this keep your head up you look beautiful baby, i’ll be with you the whole time okay?” she kisses your forehead softly her words gentle and sweet easing all of your worries “here we go” you sigh plastering a soft smile on your face as you take paige’s hand and head inside
The walk to the building was filled with cameras & people. The camera snaps few photos of you & paige an interviewer comes up to you guys and asks a few questions to paige like “what are you wearing tonight?” “Here to support Nika Mühl?” “How are you feeling about possibly getting drafted next year?” the suddenly the attention was pulled to you “Paige we see you brought a new face as your plus one tonight care to introduce us?” the interviewer asks with a smile “This is y/n, she’s my beautiful girlfriend”
You smiled softly and wave. You weren’t used to this many cameras sure there was a lot of people & cameras at uconn games but nothing like this, and definitely not this up close and personal. Paige had her arm wrapped around your waist and squeezed your hip a silent acknowledgment that she was there for you. The reporter smiled at you and paige “Girlfriend? wow what a surprise, y/n you look beautiful how are you feeling tonight.” “Definitely a little nervous but I have paige with me so I know i’ll be alright and i’m so proud of Nika just came to show my support for her as well.” the interviewer smiled “Y’all are just adorable if you don’t mind me asking how did you two meet?” paige had that stupid smirk you loved on her face. She loved telling the story.
“Well this pretty thing here is Uconn’s sweetheart she’s a cheerleader and she was cheering with all the other cheerleaders at one of our basketball games and I made a shot but after it went in it somehow bounced over and hit her head-“ you shake your head in embarrassment and giggle “Gosh paige don’t-“ she just laughs and shush’s you “Shh baby let me finish. ahem. anyways as I was saying it hit her head so I run up to her and apologize but I look at her and it hit me when I looked in her eyes I was like woah this is genuinely the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen so yeah I found her after the game got her number.” she winks.
The interviewer laughs finding the story so cute but I bud in “Paige thinks she has so much rizz yeah she may have got my number that day but it took her a WHOLE YEAR for her to ask me out” paige rolls her eyes playfully “Aye chill good things take time” the interviewer smiled and was amused by you and paige “Y’all are just the cutest, thank you both so much for your time it was so nice to meet you y/n thank you paige for sharing her.” paige smiles and reply’s “Of course but don’t y’all get to comfortable she’s mine.”
After all the draft night the media fell in love with you just as much as paige did loving your hospitality and transparency. Sure they’re was a few homophobic assholes but there was more positive feedback and so much support from everyone. You could say that everyone adored you…especially paige.
A/N still haven’t gotten over paige’s draft fit it was absolute perfection she’s so beautiful. also I apologize for being so inactive with finals & then the holidays your girl has been BUSYYY (I wake up everyday & there’s always smth to do i’m sick of it😾) but thank you for the love & support on my last blurb it’s so appreciated also TYSM for 30 followers ily all from the bottom of my heart. lovie flash forward where she captains the lionesses to win the euros again (with any kids from the other stories that are lionesses kids) and she’s a midfielder because when she was little she didn’t want to choose between alessia and leah so she chose between their two positions she also is number 6 (for leah) and has russo on her shirt (for alessia) so it’s a mix of both of them. she’s also quite tall but the nickname tiny stuck around😭
there’s even a déjà vu moment for when they play germany and lovie is looking over a players shoulder at a note and people make it a meme along side alessia’s from years ago😭
anyway! she captains them to a clean sheet win and scores a hatrick and has a world famous celebration that’s all over the internet with kids copying her and when she’s getting interviewed after it she basically says what leah said “I can’t stop crying” and “i’m trying really hard not to swear”
and when it’s all done she’s back to celebrating and drags alessia to roll around in the confetti with her like when alessia won her first euros and she makes ella and mary knee slide with her like then too (bc ofc they came to watch) also dedicates her medal to her mum and leah during her interview🤌🏽
maybe even gets a ballon d’or nomination afterwards😎
GLIMPSE OF THE FUTURE | alessia russo x leah williamson x russo!reader
to the person who requested this, i'm so sorry it took so long. i loved this request when i first seen it and wrote a whole fic in two days for it but then when i was editing it i re-read it and hated it hence why it's took so long, but i hope i've done it justice as i ended up loving making this and editing photos for this was such a fun thing to write once i got the plot right🙃
grumpy masterlist
you stood in the tunnel, your heart pounding as the roar of the crowd echoed throughout the stadium walls. taking a glance down at the armband which was wrapped tightly around your left arm. captain, you, at 23 leading england onto the pitch in the euros final. it was something four year old you dreamed about.
the weight to deliver tonight was almost overwhelming. but your focus went to your family who was in the stands.
your mum, leah all decked out in england merch, shirts, flags face paint everything they could get their hands on as they were surrounded by your uncles gio and luca as well as your grandparents who had been there throughout the entire tournament as well as your mum's former teammates.
you could imagine your mum's excitement vividly - alessia painted in england colours, a scarf tied around her neck despite the warm weather and her england shirt with 'russo' #11 adorned on the back.
alessia had spent the last three weeks telling anyone who would listen about how proud she was leading to you being the subject of endless teasing from your uncles and your mum's friends even if was a little annoying you knew it all came from a good place.
"you've got this lovie" alessia whispered to herself, adjusting her shirt a little, the iconic number 11 gleaming with pride. your number being that as it was the famous number 2,3 for your mum and 6 for leah combined.
as you walked onto the pitch with your team, the thunderous cheer filled your body with energy. the match beginning and you were in your element. england were dominating possession, moving the ball with so much flare.
so in the 24th minute a perfect through ball found you in space as you cut inside, steering clear of the german defender as you slotted the ball into the bottom corner - the stadium erupted. your team mates surrounding you with head taps and hugs.
by the time halftime had rolled around, you had already bagged a brace having been set up perfectly each time by your teammates. england were flying and looking likely to win it but you knew better than start and get comfortable knowing the momentum could easily change.
in the 70th minute of the second half, the germans made a substitution. your sharp eyes caught a glimps of a substitute carrying a folded piece of paper.
wandering over as you strained to see it over the players shoulder, but it was all in german and dotted with cryptic numbers. you mum walking with a big grin as it was a straight parallel of the same thing she had done int he 2022 euro final.
"focus lovie" she muttered to herself as she felt leah's hand rest on her knee to stop it from bouncing up and down. the game getting its self back underway.
the game wearing on, the german tightening their defence but you weren't finished. in the 78th minute you found yourself once again on the edge of the box.
a clever one two with your centre forward, left you one one one with the keeper. seeing an open goal you chipped the ball delicately over the outstretched hand of the keeper.
GOAL!
you knew once it had left your foot it was going in, your celebration was instinctive. rushing over to the corner in a sleek knee slide as you cupped your hand to your ear — staring into the stand as you soaked in the noise.
you way of silencing the doubters, for those who had said you'd never be half the player your mum was. you feeling nothing but satisfaction when you proved them all wrong time after time.
the referee's whistle cut through the air finally after six minutes of added time — sharp and definitive. and for a second you froze. then it hit you, you had done it. your three goals had done it. england were european champions, once again.
you knees buckled and you collapsed onto the grass, your hands covering your face as the tears started to fall. the noise around you was deafening, a cacophony of cheers and screams echoing throughout the stadium.
you tilting her head back, staring at the sky as you tried to catch your breath — your chest heaving up and down.
feeling hands grab at your shoulders and turning to see your teammates rushing towards you, all screaming with joy. a blur of england jerseys surrounding you as you were pulled into a massive group hug, lifting you off the ground as if you were the trophy.
you laughing through your tears of joy, unable to stop the huge grin on your face as they chanted your name, loud and proud.
"russo scoring goals galore! captain fantastic!" your teammates shouted, ruffling your hair as you took in every single ounce of the moment.
back in the stands with your mum, alessia was in her feet. tears falling from her eyes as she clutched onto leah's arm. "that's my baby, that's my lovie!" she shouted her voice cracking.
alessia's scarf all askew, her face paint all smudged from the tears streaming down her cheeks in joy, but she didn't care. she could be prouder of you and she wanted all to know.
leah was beaming beside your mum, clapping furiously as her voice was hoarse from cheering. leaning in close to alessia as she rubbed a hand up and down the blondes back.
"you right here that, you know. she's you out there — maybe slightly better" leah nudged alessia as she playfully rolled her eyes at the teasing comment.
"don't say that!" alessia half laughed, while half crying through the pride radiated from her, "but also — maybe"
your grandparents, carol and mario were on their feet waving flags and cheering loudly. mario clapping a hand over his heart as his face etched with emotion, “she’s incredible” he said to no one in particular more just thinking aloud.
“runs in the family” gio chimed in as he grinned nudging luca slightly.
luca had been on his phone recording the celebration, well trying to. “this is going on every family group chat. i’m never letting her forget this!”
as your mum’s former teammates — ella, mary, lucy and lotte were just as loud as your family. they may not be your family by blood but they were definitely your chosen family. they’d watched you grow up with their owns eyes being there for you when you needed.
mary was hollering, “that’s the russo legacy right there!” as lucy waved her england scarf above her head like a helicopter.
as you back in the pitch, you’d managed to peel yourself away from the group hug as your eyes scanned the stands, looking for your family.
finding them quickly, your mums attire dressed in full england merch from head to toe was a dead giveaway, and when your eyes met your mum’s you lifted your arms and pointed towards her.
“for you mum!” you mouthed, tears were still streaming down her face in pure pride. alessia bringing a hand to her mouth as she nodded the tears continuing to spill over again.
you turned back to the field, it being moments away from the trophy celebration, as you wiped your eyes as the reality of the moment was really starting to settle in.
you’d dreamed of this as a little girl, you’d watched your mum win it in 2022 amongst some of the most decorated players in the words which your adored.
now it was your turn. your fists clenching as you breathed in the moment. the weight of history pressing in your shoulders — but not as a burden but as a crown.
the crowd hadn’t stopped for a single moment since the final whistle, chanting and cheering as the team relished in the celebrations for their hard word over the past few weeks.
as you lined up watching the german players receiving their medals first, as you congratulated each one. you’d dreamed watched as your teammates, their joy mirrored your own. a sense of profound sense of gratitude — not just for the win, but also for the journey.
the germans had received their silver medals, it was now your turn as the announcer roared their names through the speakers.
you stood at the end of the line watching all your teammates received their well deserved gold medal, the captains armband still snug around your arm, still trying to process what had just happened.
your cheeks were damp with tears, your hands trembling with adrenaline and emotion.
the first few medals had been handed out, you watching in with pride as you could hear their laughter, their shouts of disbelief. every step closer to the podium felt surreal — as if she was walking through a dream.
it was now your turn, the official draped the gold medal around your neck, the cool weight of it grounding you. you touched it lightly then turned to the cheering fans lifting it high. the roar from the crowd was deafening.
you’d shook hands with all the officials lined up, your heart pounding as you were left to lift the trophy. your heart was pounding. the trophy was gleaming under the stadium lights and you couldn’t tear your eyes away from it.
"and now, your captain, y/n russo, will lift the trophy!"
the crowd erupted as you moved towards your teammates moving into the middle of the group as you gripped the handles of the trophy tightly. pausing for a moment as the weight of the moment hit her.
then with a deep breath, you hoisted it high above your head. confetti cannons exploded, showering the team in gold as the stadium roared with joy.
you closed your eyes, tilting your head back to feel the confetti rain down on you. you could hear your teammates screaming behind you, their hands slapping her shoulders in celebration.
in the stands, your mum was a mess of tears and pride. she clutched leah’s hand tightly, “that’s our girl, le” your mum yelled bouncing on her toes as you lifted the trophy.
gio was shouting your chant, “midfield magic, hear the crowd roar! russo’s scoring goals galore!” as luca waved a giant england flag above his head.
back to you on the pitch, the trophy remained being passed about high above peoples head as you laughed on, before an interviewer found you amidst of the celebrations.
“how does it feel y/n?”
“i-i can’t stop cryin’ and i’m trying really hard not to swear” you admitted, a small laugh falling from your lips as your voice shook.
"what does this all mean to you and the team?"
you took a deep breath. "i speak on behalf of all my teammates when I say this is for everyone who doubted us, who told us we shouldn't play because we're women. well, look at us now. european champions. who's got the title—us or them?"
you paused, your eyes glancing over to the stands where your family was, “and for me, well this isn't just about football. i've been able to do this because of my two biggest fans—my mum and le. this is for you both. i love you so much. and gio," you added with a teary laugh, "you were right—this is way better than chocolate!”
you laughed, knowing when gio and the rest of your family saw the interview would get the reference from when your mum first won the euros. you thanked the interviewer as you made your way to the sidelines where you would finally be able to enjoy the moment with those who mattered most to you.
when you made it to them, you effortlessly jumped over the barrier, being engulfed by your family. your mum throwing her arms around you, sobbing for the thousandth time today.
“mum! we did it” you whispered, your voice breaking.
your mum hugging you tightly as a hand run down your back before she pulled away, “no, you did it lovie.”
leah joined the hug, wrapping both your mum and you in her arms, “we are so proud of you, angel” she smiled softly her own eyes filled with pride.
as you turned to your grandparents who had been watching the sweet moment between your mums as they beamed with pride.
your nonno, mario pulled you into a tight hug, “you’ve made this family so proud kiddo” he smiled his voice thick with emotion.
“thanks nonno” you said, your voice trembling as you held back the tears.
your uncles, gio and luca, of course broke the emotional moment with their teasing. “did you have to score three? what a show off!” gio grinned, a wide smirk on his face.
you laughed, rolling your eyes playfully, “remind me how many you’ve scored in a euros final?” you quipped back. gio just laughing as he pulled you into a headlock as you laughed.
you’d posted for photo after photo, finally making your way to your mum’s teammate that had made the journey, mary was first to give you a massive hug ruffling your hair. “hat trick in a final! you’ve got your mums genes that for sure!”
“probably better actually” ella added with a wink as you scoffed with a laugh.
“ok, ok let’s not start that argument, again” you smiled as you catch up with the girls your cheeks already flushed from the sheer amount of attention being placed on you.
the celebrations felt endless and carried on all night long, you not being sat in a function room. having danced the night away with not only your teammates but also your family.
but you still had one thing left to do, the medal which hadn’t left your neck. moving your way over to your mum who was sat leaned up against leah.
you without saying a word took the medal from around your neck, placing around your mums as a confused look flashed across your mums features.
“lovie? what- what are you doing? this is yours” your mum asked as she moved to take it from around her neck.
your quickly shaking your head, “no it’s for you, without you, and leah i wouldn’t be half the person i am today”
and there came the tears again as alessia beckoned you to sit down next to her as the tears spilled again.
“oh not again, angel i had just managed to get her to stop cryin’!”
-
months later
you were sprawled out on the couch having a rare weekend off you’d came home for to spend some time with your mums.
you quiet morning however was ruined when alessia walked in, holding her phone. her face was lit with excitement.
“lovie, you’ll never guess what!” your mum paused as you nodded your head for her to continue, expecting for her to tell you about some gossip she’s found from the neighbours while putting the bins out, “you’ve been nominated for a ballon d’or!”
you nearly choked on your water as you shot up, your eyes going wide, “what? are you having my life?”
your mum shook her head, “you’ve heard me!” she beamed, “i always knew you’d do something special but this-“
leah then appeared in the doorway clearly having already heard the news as she shook her head with a bright smile, “told you less, she’s better than we ever could have imagined”
you groaned from the compliment, though you were grinning, “mum, le- stop your embarrassing me”
but as you hugged them both, you knew you wouldn’t trade their pride or their love for anything in the world.
from ‘tiny’ to towering greatness — quite literally — y/n russo had lived up to the legacy and had created a one for her own in the process.

**for this you don't HAVE to write the entire thing in this form if you don't want to, but it must include one of the epistolary written styles within the piece.
to enter:
for this prompt challenge, we have three options so its accessible to all writers, no matter where you are in your journey and there's an example at the bottom of this list:
hard: inbox me what epistolary you'd like from the list above and three characters you don't mind writing. I'll respond with a randomised prompt from the list and one of your selected characters from your list via spin the wheel.
medium: inbox me three characters you don't mind writing for me to spin the wheel and a letter from A to Z be given a "trope", you can then choose to match to an epistolary type above.
low: inbox me that you're joining so I can send love, and happily choose your own character, and epistolary type from the list and have fun!
here's an example of what it could look like: your prompt could be, the letter that wasn't meant to be found + joel. you could write the fic in normal prose, but include the letter mid-way through when joel discovers it. this would be epistolary. OR, two characters conversing through text message would also count. OR social media IG photos with the captions hinting at a relationship.
I am on hand for ANY questions on this, if you need to check if something counts or you want to bounce ideas. for all options, please follow the rules under the cut.
RULES
writing must be more than 500 words, but there's no max
pieces need to include at least ONE pedro pascal character - not RPF pls
must consist of a form of epistolary
add proper warnings
tag me and use the hashtag #jolapenosdearuary so I can track and add to the masterlist (if tumblr glitches and I don't add, pls message sometimes things slip)
have your piece ready for posting on 1st February (it can be sooner, but I'll begin reblogging from then) there's no end date - so no pressure okay?
tagging some moots who may be down (reblog to spread):

2nd Ultimate Incest Tournament- Round 1
Propaganda under the cut:
Liam/Noel:
The Gallagher brothers have a very intense relationship that doesn't make any sense to the outside viewer unless one considers the possibility of incest. For 30 years now they have been utterly unhinged about one another in the public eye. Noel has often made incest jokes; Liam once said on-stage once "we had sex last night" referring to him and Noel. Even people writing in actual books and magazines have picked up on the vibes (some stuff that has been printed about them fully feels like it was written by tumblr incestinas except it's like. actual fucking journalists). Also there was this one time in 1996 where they kissed each other with tongue in front of 40 thousand people.
They have been described as “in love with each other” by both themselves and third parties. the lyrics “you’re my lover, i’m your brother.” they kissed with tongue at loch lomond in 1996 and have also been photographed/videoed kissing on the mouth other times. liam regularly groped noel onstage. liam’s entire twitter is just propaganda too. liam talked about impregnating noel once. noel frequently talks about how physically attractive liam is. liam claims that he’s noel’s muse
their song guess god thinks im abel has the lyrics "i could be your lover" while comparing themselves to you guessed it abel and cain. and like. a thousand more instances of them being weird about each other. also noel REALLY wanted a sister and he mentioned it quite a few times and said well liam IS basically a sister or something like that. normal behaviour
Liam literally called himself Noel's good boy on twitter, and called him god a few times after reunion. Noel said he loves make women cry and the only thing that's better is make Liam cry so he can laugh and call him a woman. They literally kissed with tongue and loch lomand is not their only kiss they have two more photos of different kissing to, they literally used the japan kiss video for reunion video. YES THEY DID THAT TF. Noel said they are head over heels in love and said it's illegal in many countries. Also Noel said Liam is like his ex-wife a few times or shit like those cunts are fucking crazy
Other people have described them as more like boyfriend/girlfriend than brothers and said they’re in love. someone on twitter asked liam “if you’re john lennon, who is noel?” and liam said “yoko ono.” another time someone said on twitter “you defo rimmed noel when you were younger” and liam replied “you jealous?"
Deeply weird about each other getting married (them not attending each other's wedding which occurred month apart and then getting divorce around the same time and they stayed at the same hotel for months), intense infamously love-hate relationship and is everyone's favorite soap opera, noel saying "on stage i just wanted him..there's only two of us that will ever get this", prominent theme of shame and crime and impossible dream in noel gallagher works, the elusive meaning of wonderwall which noel insisted is not about anyone but there's good amount of evidence that it referenced back to their childhood and their shared bedroom, liam having mental breakdown several times on twitter about noel, liam's my brother is getting a divorce playlist to which he shared with his 3 millions twitter followers, incest-baiting on main ever since the reunion, brother and lover being interchangeable for noel when writing lyrics, noel (allegedly) lying to liam that his girlfriend cheated on him in order to sabotage their relationship before oasis took off, liam hating noel's latest (ex) wife (sarah), noel writing "the owner of the star on stage" after liam's autograph and so many more insane shit
"[Liam] thinks all the songs are about him. He even thinks Wonderwall is about him." –Noel Gallagher (1997)
"It's all about me it always was and is" –Liam Gallagher (2023)
Japan kiss (kiss is at the end) loch lomand kiss
PLUS they’re back together after 14 years of estrangement! The narrative!
Edward/Alphonse:
Two brothers try to resurrect their dead mother as children and in the attempt become alchemically bonded together. Sacrificing life and limb for one another, professing to be “practically the same person,” having their bond blessed by the canonical god itself, and in one dimension sacrifice everything they’ve ever known to spend the rest of their lives together.
Canonically have their souls tied, go everywhere with each other, travel through dimensions and give up everything just to be together
Ed would kill for alphonse and alphonse would die for ed but they are so soulmate coded that they would go against their own principals too: ed would die for alphonse and alphonse would kill for ed IM OBSESSED also they keep talking about how much they need each other and wanting to touch each other constantly they gay as fuck
They need to kiss sloppy and FUCK! They are literally so canon in the 2003 anime… Al says “Brother, I want to touch you” or something like that in an episode. Ed would literally sell his soul for his brother.

creatives, please use alt text
one of the first things i learned in journalism school was how to write alt image descriptions.
at first, it felt tedious. every single photo or graphic required a description, and if we skipped it—or wrote a lazy one—our professors didn’t hesitate to fail us. at the time, i didn’t fully understand why it mattered. but now, i’m so grateful they drilled it into us. if i’d never gone to journalism school, i might have never known how vital alt text is.
for those unfamiliar, alt text (short for “alternative text”) is a written description of an image. it allows people who use screen readers to know what’s in an image, making content accessible to those who are blind, visually impaired, or have other disabilities that prevent them from viewing images. you're basically translating visual content into words.
as creatives, whether we’re writers, artists, photographers, or meme page admins, we have a responsibility to make our work accessible. after all, what’s the point of creating something if a huge portion of your audience can’t engage with it?
why alt text matters
it ensures accessibility - a visually impaired person using a screen reader should be able to understand the context of an image just as easily as a sighted person.
it’s inclusive - adding alt text isn’t just for people with disabilities. sometimes, images don’t load due to bad internet, and alt text helps everyone understand what’s missing.
it’s good practice - if your work exists online, you want it to be as widely understood as possible. accessibility makes your content stronger.
okay, but how do i write alt text?
writing alt text isn’t as hard as it might seem! here are some tips:
be concise but descriptive - describe the essential elements of the image. what would someone need to know to get the gist of it?
include context - if the image is part of a larger story, explain its relevance. for example, “a black cat sitting on a pumpkin, used to illustrate a halloween-themed story.”
don’t overthink it - you don’t need to describe every pixel. just focus on the most important details.
alt text and ai tools
in the era of chatgpt and microsoft copilot, we’ve got a major advantage: ai tools can now generate alt text for you!
while these tools aren’t perfect and often need a bit of tweaking, they’re a great starting point. platforms like adobe, microsoft, and even some social media apps have built-in options for generating descriptions. if you’re overwhelmed by the idea of writing alt text from scratch, let ai do the heavy lifting, and then refine it.
a creative responsibility
alt text isn’t just for journalists or big companies, it’s for all of us.
as creatives, we have the power to make the internet a more inclusive place. whether you’re posting a masterpiece, a meme, or a picture of your cat, take a moment to add alt text.
adding alt image description is SO EASY and quick and we all need to get better at adding it to our posts. i, myself, am not perfect. on here, for example, i've been really bad about writing alt image descriptions, and it's something i'm very disappointed in myself for. (i hereby pledge to do better, and please call me out for lacking in the future!)
writing alt text is not only about respecting your audience, but it's also about recognizing disabled people's right to engage with your work.
accessibility isn’t optional !!

“This is why I am leaving!…. You don’t actually care for those around you huh, Vik.?”
“I-I.. You are jumping into conclusions-“ Viktor said
“How many conclusions am I going to jump into until I realised you actually never cared for me? Never loved me.” You said walking closer to him
“I’m sorry, Vik.. but this has to end, we have to end. Find something that really matters for us.” You said before giving him a last kiss goodbye and grabbing your briefcase and left the lab-
“You wanted to see me, Viktor.?”
The memory was cut short when Salo enters the room.
“Ah, Salo.. Hm yes. How are the repairs of your body growing on you? I hope it doesn’t interfere with your life now.”
“Mhm, they are fine, I do have to thank you again for fixing me, Viktor.. I have to repay you somehow… Name your price”
“In my life now, money has no use to me.”
“Ah.. right.”
“But there is one thing that you can do for me, Salo.”
“What is it? I’ll do anything”
Viktor chuckles at Salo’s eagerness
“I need to find.. Someone. Someone who is very dear to me.. And I was hoping you could help me.”
“Uh sure.. Do you have anything for me to recognise this person..?” Salo asks
Viktor nods and hands Salo a small photo
“Their name is [Name] is that helps you.. they should be in a hospital as we speak.”
“Wa-wait, are they hurt.?”
Viktor let’s out a soft laugh
“No,, no.. they are just employed there as a doctor. Dr. [Last Name].”
“I will keep that in mind.”
Soon, Salo leaves the room and dresses up more appropriately to visit the hospital to finally meet you
୧‿︵‿‿︵‿‿︵‿୨ 𒋝 ୧‿︵‿‿︵‿︵‿︵୨
“Hello, sir. Are you here for an appointment today?” The nurse in the said hospital said
“Yes, I would like to set up an appointment with Dr. [Last Name] please”
“Hm, let me check if they are available in the moment…. Looks like you are in luck. I will set up an appointment with them. What is your name sir?”
“Salo is fine.”
“Alright, Mr. Salo. Please wait at the waiting room until your name is called.”
“Thank you.”
Salo waits in the waiting room for an hour until his name is called into the office.
“Hello, Mr. Salo. A pleasure to meet you.”
“Hello, Doctor.”
“Can you tell me what is the problem here?”
“Ah it’s that my body is reaching,, low temperatures. I am getting worried in my wellbeing due to its unnaturality.”
“Alright.. I’ll give you a full check-up and see if there is anything else that might need taking care of.”
Soon Dr. [Last Name] conducts a clinical examination on Salo and finds that his pulse is very low to an alarming rate.
“Mr. Salo, I might have to stay here for a while. You have other problems that might arise very complicated consequences. You show signs of… how do I out this.. I’ve never seen anything like this before, and due to that, we need to conduct a few more examinations before we let you go.”
“I understand.”
୧‿︵‿‿︵‿‿︵‿୨ 𒋝 ୧‿︵‿‿︵‿︵‿︵୨
As Salo sits there in the hospital bed, he can hear Viktor’s voice talking to him
“I didn’t expect this to happen but seeing that [Name] is your primary doctor.. this might work out better than I expected. Good job, Salo.”
“Thank you, Viktor-“
His thoughts were cut short before [Name] enters the room, holding a clipboard and a small cup containing some pills inside.
“Good evening, Mr. Salo. I’ve brought some medication for you to take. If your condition worsens, we might have to resort to drastic measures. I hope you do understand Mr. Salo.”
“I understand very well.” He said before touching your hand with tenderness “thank you again, doctor.”
“It’s my job.”
୧‿︵‿‿︵‿‿︵‿୨ 𒋝 ୧‿︵‿‿︵‿︵‿︵୨
Salo’s condition is the first patient who had stumped you. You can’t seem to figure out what is happening with his body. Salo seems fine and well but his body says otherwise.
It’s like he’s a walking corpse.
Soon you both got closer and you had to discharge him from the hospital due to his long stay there and home visits and check-ups are being more frequent.
Everything was fine until one day.
The doorbell rang and Salo quickly answered it. When he does, he sees you
“Hello, Mr. Salo.”
He invites you in to his living room and you both start doing your daily check-ups.
“You are an absolute mystery. It’s almost 8 months and I still can’t find out what is wrong.”
Salo gets up and goes to his kitchen to make some tea for you both like usual whilst he’s talking to [Name].
“I truly also wonder..”
When he is done, he sets the tea on top of the coffee table and you grab your drink while Salo grabs his. You always had enjoyed his homemade drinks that he makes during the check-ups but.. something is wrong this time..
You feel lightheaded and tired after you drank the tea that Salo had given to you.
“Salo… what..” your words slurred while you try to keep conscious but soon failed.
୧‿︵‿‿︵‿‿︵‿୨ 𒋝 ୧‿︵‿‿︵‿︵‿︵୨
You soon wake up and finding yourself in a beautiful garden. And somethin- no. Someone sitting in a chair in front of you. Someone with long hair, blue cloak and a staff-like cane leaning against the armrest of the said chair.
“Ah, [Name].. you’re awake.”
Wait.. you recognise that voice.. that accent..
“Viktor..?”
“You remember me, Love?”
“I…You…How did you fi-“
“Find you? Do you remember Salo.?”
Now everything seems to crash down on you. This was all apart of his plan. And you and fallen for it.
Even if you were still hold the grudge against him years ago, you still can’t stay mad at that face, those puppy eyes looking at you.
Viktor comes down to your level, due to you still leaning and slumped against the walls of the greenhouse. And he pulls you in a warm embrace, you can feel him sniffing your scent as if it was his lifeline.
“Viktor..”
“[Name.].. Don’t ever leave me again, please… I promise.. I promise… I won’t ignore you anymore…”
“͎͕̦ͫ̊̊ͨ͑I̗ ͍̭̜͔ͯ̉w̯̥͍̦̩̱͗ͤ̑͂ͥo̘͇̩̞ͯ̋ͭ͂n͎̦̜̻͈͊͒̀’̠̜̈́ͯ̾͊ͅt͓̙͔͊ ̠͔̞̔͒̐̏́l͙̬̞̥̲̦͚̙e͕̬̔͛͌à̜̫͍̣͖̩͔̩͕̑̉ͧ̿̌̆ͅv͚̭̫̖̲̦͚̙ͤ̚e͕̬̔͛͌ ͇͉̬̆ͫ̈́͋̉ͅy̬̣̥͍̦̩̱ͦ̇͊̔o̘͇̩̞̗ͯ̋ͭ͂uͦ à̜̫͍̣͖̠͔̞̑̉ͧ̿̔͒̐̏́l͙̬̞̥̥͍̦̩̱o̘͇̩̞ͯ̋ͭ͂n͎̦̜̻͈̲̦͚̙͊͒̀e͕̬̔͛͌ à̜̫͍̣͖̑̉ͧ̿n͎̦̜̻͈͇͉̬͊͒̀̆ͫ̈́͋̉ͅy̬̣͙̗͓̖ͦ̇͊̔ͬͩ̊m̩͈͕̥͍̦̩̱o̘͇̩̞͕̰ͯ̋ͭ͂̒ͨ̈́r̯̠̦̩̲̦͚̙ͨ̌̑e͕̬̔͛͌.
୧‿︵‿‿︵‿‿︵‿୨ 𒋝 ୧‿︵‿‿︵‿︵‿︵୨
It had been a while since you lived with Viktor. Now, he seemed more.. clingy. Staying by your side always.
“Hey, [Name].”
He greets you while you were reading a book, putting it down and giving Viktor all of your attention before he goes in for a kiss.
“Hey, Vik..”
He goes into your lap before making himself comfortable, nuzzling his face into your neck, smelling your cologne. And putting your arms around his waist.
“How was your day, hon.?” You asked.
“It was horrible until I got to you..” Viktor says before grabbing the book you were reading.
“I’m bored.. want to read this together.?”
“Mhm, sure-“ you said nuzzling your face into his head, slightly sniffing his hair. But you smell something. Blood. Something you were too familiar with being used to work in a hospital.
“What did you do this time…?”
“That bitch at that shop was too talkative to you..”
You laughed softly before saying “she was asking for directions, love..”
“…” Viktor says quiet while ignoring your teasing and reads the book
You had gotten used to his behaviour due to both of you being together for 5 years, 78 days and 8 hours now.
It looks like his obsessive behaviour had rubbed off on you now.
It’s not like you were complaining.
As you were reading together, you felt Viktor kissing your neck. Shit..
You can feel yourself getting hard and you know Viktor also can feel it too
“Someone’s eager, huh.?”
“Shut it..”
“Cmon, fuck me like you used to..”
“…” your words slurred said nothing while unbuckling your belt. When you get your pants undone, you took off your boxers and starts to stroke yourself with the pre-cum that had accumulated overtime.
Viktor also waste no time undressing and grabs a lubricant from the cabinet of the coffee table.
“You had that kept in there..?”
“Nothings wrong with being prepared, love” he defended
As you both prepped each other, you quickly propped yourself on the rim of Viktor’s hole
“Fuck..” he said
You slowly insert yourself inside of Viktor and going a slow pace, making sure Viktor gets used to the feeling
“Fast.. faster..”
“That’s not how you ask, darling..” you said teasingly
“Please.. sir! Faster please..” Viktor pleads
“So obedient.” You said before your pace starts going faster
“Ah!~ fuck.! Sir..! Please..~”
“Fucking hell, you are tight…”
“Ahh~! Fu-~! Fuck.!”
You can feel Viktor being close as he clenched around you, his greedy hole taking you in so well
“Tog-ah~.. together..!”
After a while, you felt yourself being closer to your high before finishing together with Viktor.
You both sits there, panting and catching both of your breaths.
“You okay..?” You asked
“More than okay..fuck.. that was amazing..”
“Here., I’ll get you cleaned up..”
You gathered enough energy to pick Viktor up in your arms and carrying him bridal style to the bathroom before having a lovely bath together..

Snowed In at the Country Inn-Chapter 1
New York City glistened like a snow globe in motion, every corner of the bustling metropolis sparkling under the glow of twinkling Christmas lights. It was the kind of scene that made postcards look dull, but to her, it was just another day in the endless chaos of December. She sprinted through the slushy pavement, her breath puffing in clouds as she muttered a string of apologies and excuses to the strangers she bumped into. Clutching her oversized planner in one hand and a precariously balanced coffee cup in the other, she came to a stop at the curb, waving frantically at an approaching taxi.
“For a woman who plans every detail of her life to the second,” she muttered under her breath, “you really have a knack for running late.”
The taxi whizzed by, splashing her boots with icy water. With a resigned groan, she adjusted her scarf and glanced at her phone. The glowing screen reminded her of the looming flight she could not afford to miss. A dozen notifications blinked across the screen: frantic texts from her assistant, a last-minute change to a corporate party she’d been organizing for weeks, and, of course, the message she was avoiding—a cheerful reminder from her father about her plans to spend Christmas with him.
She sighed, her grip tightening on her phone. “Merry chaos,” she muttered, stepping back onto the pavement.
Her phone buzzed again, this time with a call. She swiped to answer, keeping her voice light despite the irritation bubbling under the surface.
“Claire, I swear, if this is about the Henderson wedding—”
“It’s about your flight,” Claire interrupted. “Check your email. There’s been a mix-up.”
Her stomach dropped. “What kind of mix-up?”
“The kind where your seat doesn’t exist any more. The airline overbooked, and now you’re waitlisted.”
She closed her eyes and counted to three, inhaling deeply through her nose. “You’re telling me I’m stranded in New York one week before Christmas?”
“I’m so sorry! I’ve already called to see if there’s anything we can do, but the earliest rebooking is the day after Christmas.”
“Fantastic,” she said tightly. “Because that’s exactly when I planned to travel.”
She ended the call, ignoring Claire’s flurry of apologies, she'll apologize for her rudeness later. She stood frozen for a moment on the crowded pavement. Around her, shoppers hurried by with their bags and holiday cheer, oblivious to her growing panic. She stared down at the planner in her hands, her lifeline in the storm of her hectic career, now rendered useless by one simple change. Her gaze fell to a photograph tucked between the pages—a faded snapshot of her and her mother, laughing in front of a snow-dusted gazebo.
Her fingers brushed the edge of the photo, a sudden ache blooming in her chest. She remembered this moment vividly, though it felt like a lifetime ago. Her mum had loved Christmas, the magic of it, the traditions. It had been their thing, once upon a time. But those memories belonged to another world, one she’d locked away years ago.
A booming laugh interrupted her thoughts. She turned to see a man dressed as Santa ringing a bell beside a donation bucket. He was smiling warmly at passers-by, his laughter echoing through the chilly air. Something about him drew her in.
“Rough day?” he asked, his voice kind.
She managed a small smile. “You could say that.”
He glanced at the photo in her hand. “Sometimes, people lose their way. All they need is a little help to look back at where it all started.”
Her chest tightened. “That’s what my mum used to say.”
“She sounds like a wise woman,” he said. “You know, I couldn't help but overhear your predicament. If you want a place to escape for the holidays, I used to visit a little town called Sweetwater around Christmas. Magical place. Feels like stepping into another world.” He winked. “Might be just what you need.”
She hesitated, then typed the name into her phone. Sweetwater. Her heart raced as she found a flight and booked it.
“Sweetwater,” she whispered to herself. “Here’s hoping you live up to your name.”
The plane touched down in Texas under a heavy gray sky that promised snow, the kind of weather that seemed out of place this far south. She bundled herself against the cold as she stepped into the small airport, her breath curling in the air as she dragged her suitcase toward the exit. The town’s name, Sweetwater, greeted her from a modest wooden sign outside. It was quaint, the kind of place where time seemed to slow down.
The cab ride was quiet, the driver a friendly older man who chatted about the approaching snowstorm. “You picked an interesting time to visit,” he said with a chuckle. “Storm’s coming in strong. Could be a while before the roads clear.”
She looked out the window at the swirling snowflakes, a mix of nerves and curiosity stirring inside her. This was a far cry from the meticulously planned holidays she usually orchestrated. She felt free in a way that was both unsettling and thrilling.
The cab stopped in front of the inn, a charmingly rustic building with a wraparound porch draped in Christmas lights. She stepped out, her boots crunching on the fresh snow as she took in the scene. It was straight out of a holiday card: a roaring fireplace visible through the window, wreaths hanging on every door, and the faint sound of carols drifting through the air.
She was halfway to the entrance when the door burst open, and a tall figure stepped out, lugging a suitcase. Before she could react, they collided—her heel catching on an icy patch. She flailed, teetering backward, only to find herself caught firmly in his arms.
“Whoa there,” he said, steadying her with ease.
She looked up, her breath hitching as she took in his sharp features. Tousled hair framed a face that was rugged yet annoyingly attractive. He raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a grin.
“You okay?”
“I—uh, yeah,” she stammered, pulling herself upright.
It wasn’t until she dusted herself off and glanced down that the horror-struck. Her beloved planner—her lifelinewas dripping with hot chocolate, the brown liquid seeping into the carefully organized pages.
Her gaze darted to his other hand, now empty. The Styrofoam cup that had once contained the drink was lying crushed in the snow.
“You let go of your drink to catch me,” she said, her tone caught between disbelief and irritation.
“Seemed like the right thing to do,” he replied, unapologetic.
She held up the planner, its ruined state glaringly obvious. “This is my life. Do you know how long it’ll take to fix this?”
He shrugged, that infuriating grin still in place. “Could’ve been worse. You could’ve ended up face-first in the snow.”
Her glare could’ve melted the frost under their feet. “Thanks for the silver lining,” she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
“Anytime,” he quipped, brushing past her and heading toward the door.
Inside, the warmth of the inn wrapped around her like a hug. Penny, the innkeeper, greeted her with a wide smile and a steaming cup of cider. “Welcome to Sweetwater! You got here just in time—the storm’s rolling in fast.”
“I noticed,” she said, glancing out the window at the thickening snow.
“Good news is we’ve got plenty of space,” Penny continued. “Well, almost. Looks like you’ll be sharing the last suite with one of our other guests.”
Her jaw tightened. “Sharing? With a stranger?”
“Only option left, I’m afraid,” Penny said, her tone apologetic but firm.
Before she could protest further, the door opened again, and the man from earlier strolled in, brushing snow from his shoulders. His eyes widened slightly when he saw her, then narrowed as Penny handed them the key.
“Wait, we’re sharing a room?” he asked, his voice laced with disbelief.
“It’s a suite,” Penny corrected, her smile never wavering. “Plenty of space for the two of you. And with the storm coming in, it’s better than being stuck out there.”
They exchanged a look, equal parts wary and exasperated. Finally, she sighed. “Fine. But just for the record, I’m not thrilled about this.”
“Noted,” he said, his tone matching hers.
Penny clapped her hands together. “Great! Now, let’s get you two settled.”
A/N: So the first chapter is up, I hope you guys like it and live up to your expectations. I'll probably update after I update a chapter on my other story. But yeah, I this one might be shorter than The Beast Within, but well see. Love you all, don't forget to like and reblog. Also, this chapter is dedicated to @bellaireland1981. Happy Holidays <3

PRESENTS
“My love,” you heard Regulus’ voice calling out to you, a curious expression on his face.
“What is it, love?” you asked, turning to face him.
He cleared his throat before holding up a photo. “Who is this?”
It was a small photo, one from the picture book your mother had gifted you before she died. That photo was a memory you held rather dearly to you. A younger you, maybe from your Fourth or Fifth Year, sitting with the mall Santa.
“That man?” you asked, a small smirk growing on your face.
He nodded, pointing at the mall Santa. “Yes, the guy. Is that a grandpa or someone?”
“That’s Santa.” you smiled softly, leaning forward over the back of the couch.
“What is Santa?” he asked you.
You weren’t sure how to explain it to him, shrugging simply. “Well, he’s a myth for children. Kind of. Sometimes people dress up as him for children.”
“Why?” he asked.
“Christmas.” you smiled softly. “He’s meant to give out presents and stuff.”
Regulus looked down at the photo before nodding. “Oh.”
You smiled softly. “You haven’t had a Christmas gift before, have you?”
“No, I haven’t.” he said. “Sirius might’ve when he ran away.”
You shook your head, knowing that he probably didn’t get any presents from his friends either. As much as they cared for each other, they didn’t always show it in a generous manner. Usually, it was through threats of murdering others for each other.
“How about you write a letter for Santa, we’ll mail it out to him.” you smiled.
He raised his eyebrows incredulously, not sure why that would work. “You said he was a myth.”
“Well, maybe he is.” you said with a smirk. “Maybe he isn’t. If you write a letter, you’ll see.”
Regulus rolled his eyes, kissing your forehead. “Fine.”
“How would you open a letter without the other person knowing you’re opening it?”
Remus looked up from his book and towards you as you asked the question, raising an eyebrow curiously. “From Regulus?”
“For Santa.” you said. “He didn’t know what Santa was, which I think is a crime.”
“So you’re going to open it and pretend you didn’t so he can experience it.” Remus finished your thought, grabbing the letter from your hands and casting a small charm on it.
“He might’ve put a charm to detect things!” you winced, watching him open the letter.
“Please,” he chuckled. “I did the same thing with Sirius, tested 20 different charms to see what would work. I know that he won’t.”
“You’re crazy.” you chuckled softly.
“So are you, apparently.” he smirked.
“Alright, how did you do it?” Regulus asked.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” you repeated nonchalantly, smiling softly at the small gift he had in his hand.
It was a notebook that he had been wanting for a while, though you weren’t exactly sure why. He seemed to have an obsession with that brand, as he already had one he’d been filling these past few months.
“The present.” he deadpanned. “How did you know that I wanted one?”
“I didn’t know, Santa did!” you smiled brightly, clapping your hands.
Regulus looked at you with an expression that said ‘really’, though he knew that you probably wouldn’t tell him. “Thank you.” he whispered.
“I’m not the one to thank, thank Santa.” you said casually, sitting down beside him as he handed you your present. “What is it?”
“Open it.” he smiled.
You opened it with a small smile, ripping the paper to see a journal. It was a journal like the one you got him, except it was full of things. A unique amount of things. Love letters, small photos, poems, and other trinkets.
“What is this?” you asked gently, voice wet as you spoke.
“A journal,” he whispered gently. “For you. I’ve found that you’re the only way I can truly make art that I’m proud of.”
“You,” you muttered, sniffling softly as you flipped through and read some of the pages. “I love you.”
“I love you too.” he whispered.

「 I AM NOT HERE 」 clowning post part iv. aka the main candy compilation now that we have the whole song. here’s part one & two & three for reference which are very short ones.
before we dive into the cpns, i wanna congratulate yibo for another exceptional song! the lyrics are so good and his voice??? his voice??? you all know the part i’m talking about— it’s singer yibo!
let’s start with this ⬆️⬆️⬆️ i think the side by side photo is self explanatory. you have xz drawing the mountains and yibo integrating himself into it and became the mountain himself. i like this whole concept of him being in nature, being all around this person even if he is not there physically as himself. this is so special too considering we always clown about them loving camping & hiking — and other outdoorsy stuff. it may be that nature reminds yibo of those happy times they spend together exploring that environment.
now let’s move on to a very yizhan-y interpretation of the song…
1. some fans have pointed out that it’s 2000 days since the 12.28 tencent starlight awards where they were together. it was post-cql and them going into new roles — a start of well, more complicated times, but they had each other. i don’t really believe too much in these anniversary cpns but i will just leave this here.
2. comparing the water theme & mountains from xz’s photoshoot before that had us all going 🥵🥵🥵, it matches the imagery from yibo’s song.
3. the official description of the song provided by music platforms gave a solid perspective of what it is all about & it’s not far off what we think it is when the teaser/s came out.
“I" is rooted in this land, connected by veins, and time and space are close to each other. "I" live in symbiosis with the mountain, breathe with you, and experience the ups and downs of life. We go through the ups and downs with all things, so the green mountains are flat, and "I" is always present.
I am here, a dialogue with the world. I AM NOT HERE, but I will always be there. This is what "I’m here" is all about. So darling, DON'T BE CRYING, Because this song is a symphony between you and me.
Let me just sit and think about this. It’s such a beautiful meaning. Their love goes beyond the romantic and it’s real. You can see it all around you.
4. Time to dissect the first half of the lyrics 🎶
Many years later // Where will I turn back and look? // Holding flowers I've never seen before // Facing toward you
this reminds us of their first meeting in the field of flowers. out of all the things he can start with, why this? also the graphics for xz’s album is an eternal flower. if we look at it further, it’s more than the literal sense too. the flower he hasn’t seen is this new feeling and having this one person that is became so important to him. the first line is also telling, cause it’s like he is looking back at that moment, many years later, out of all his time, that time is what he wants to recall.
Waving my hand // Don't stay on the lonely island // I'll become a small boat to take you to find the oasis
we knew of this line already and it’s still so romantic. it’s this person who is alone but wyb wants to take him away and help him find that oasis. oftentimes, people tend to have that selfish type of love where they want the other to be isolated. but yibo is not like that. he wants to take the person outside, see the world and fins that happiness together. and him being a small boat is too cute! like he knows he is not that strong but he will do his best to make a difference in his (xz) life and give him freedom & happiness.
My heart enters the mountains / My body sinks into the sea / All to reunite with you and return
the integration of himself with nature. how he has to sink into the sea so he can reunite with that person.
5. second part of the lyrics 🙌🏼. just a disclaimer that he had someone working with him to create this song and the lyrics, but that doesn’t mean he had 0 input. we all know how yibo is at this point and something as personal as his year-end song definitely had his approval with every line.
Falling, scattering into dust
And then being reborn
Pointing at the fireworks
in the sky, never fading
Are you there?
You just need not cry
You just need to bloom
And I will never leave
Don't be crying x 3
You don't need to wait
I'm here
I'm here
Don't be crying
i am weak for that first line, the thought of scattering into dust and being reborn. that’s some eternal love right there! we have reincarnation cpn at some point in the fandom so that feeds into that. the idea of yibo believing in that kind of love, never ending, not even in death makes me feel some type of way 🥹🥹🥹
next up is the imagery of fireworks. something he seems to be fond off per that video ybo shared before. also connect that to when xz was watching the fireworks during shooting wrap.
then it moves into him telling the person to not cry, you just need to bloom and he will never leave. I have explained the very real cpn about this whole crying thing before and it’s such a sweet sentiment! it’s a simple and honest promise, i will not make you cry. you just have to do what you want. yibo is there and will support xz as he succeeds (blooms).
and the last part is the nail in the coffin. you don’t need to wait, i’m here.
well who do we know at some point said that waiting is romantic?
hmmmmm. xiao zhan 🥰🥰🥰🥰
waiting. this word is very charming, it encourages people to expect. if you told me, someone is waiting for me, i would feel very moved. whether it’s my parents, or my lover, i feel that “waiting” is a very romantic word; to have something beautiful in the future waiting.
so this is yibo’s answer. you don’t have to. I’m here.
I hope everyone is having a fun weekend right now! listening to this new song, watching ETU and later follow yibo along at an event 🥂

The Gambit (Hotch x Fem!Reader) -- part two
I'm bored so [smashes plate] ANOTHER! I've been writing this faster than I thought I would 🤭 Hope everyone is having lovely and relaxing holidays xx
Warnings: just angst and the case progressing! Hotch is kinda an asshole but it's just how they show their love to each other xoxo
“You and Hotch still got it, huh?” Morgan teases, leaning his head over to grin at you. Part of you missed car rides with Derek, and the other part of you remembers just how much of a little shit he can be.
“Shut up and look at the road,” you mutter, pushing his face away from you.
“I’m looking, I’m looking,” Derek taps the wheel, shaking his head to get your hand off him. “What is it with you two, anyway?”
You shrug nonchalantly. “We’ve never gotten along, you know that. You were there when we met.”
“Uh, yeah, I remember being glad Hotch got all the heat instead of me,” Derek chuckles. “You’re intimidating when you’re pissed off.”
“Good,” you say, smirking. “That’s the point.”
“Alright,” Derek says, letting the topic go. For now. “We’ve got five minutes ‘til we reach her house. What are we telling her?”
“Well, I want to take a look around, if you’d like to talk.”
“I can stall,” Derek nods.
“Five bucks says there will be no pictures of the father in the house, at least not in the living area or hallway, where family photos most commonly are.”
“You sound like Reid,” Morgan quips.
“Our IQ’s are really close,” you remind him. “I just don’t have a damn eidetic memory. That shit is insane. I don’t envy him there.”
“Me either,” Derek shakes his head. “I remember things plenty without a magic memory.”
“I hear that.”
Derek turns into the driveway of Lila’s home. One car is in the driveway, a silver Ford. Her mom’s car.
“Ready?” Derek asks.
“Never,” you reply, opening your door. “But it’s our job.”
Derek knocks on the front door, but stands back so you’re the first face the mom will see. Given who her ex-husband is, you suspect she might be distrustful of all men, regardless of whether or not they’re here to help.
As expected, the mom eyes Morgan’s badge more closely than yours.
“May we come inside?” you ask.
“Yes,” she says, pulling the door open to let you both inside.
“Thank you, ma’am,” Morgan says politely.
After shutting the door, the mom begins talking — rambling incoherently, more like.
“I don’t know what I was thinking, dropping her off at school this morning. I knew something felt off when I woke up, it just— I don’t know what I was thinking.”
“Ma’am,” Derek says. “Please, sit down.”
“I can’t,” she says, waving both of her hands like windshield wipers in front of her body. “I need to pace. Helps me think better.”
Derek looks at you, and you shrug. She’s obviously too wound up to sit down. Which is a good sign. If she was indifferent or resigned, there would be a bigger issue at hand. Clearly, she had no idea this would happen, so she definitely wasn’t in on it.
You take a look around the living room while Derek calms the mother down, mostly just letting her ramble, and take mental notes of what to ask her about later.
As you predicted, there are no photos with the father in the picture. All of them are the mother and Lila, mostly baby photos. Lila is a pre-teen, she clearly doesn’t want her photo taken. There is one where Lila looks older, but she’s not happy.
You take a closer look. She’s really unhappy.
“Mrs. Monroe?” You turn toward her, a sympathetic smile on your lips. “Has Lila been depressed lately?”
Her mom nods. “She’s been struggling ever since uhm— Ever since her father left. I’ve had her in therapy every week, but her therapist says she’s not really opening up. She might later, but right now she just doesn’t talk at all. She doesn’t want to.”
“I understand,” you murmur. “You’ve done the right thing by getting her help. Even if it doesn’t seem like it right now.”
“She still ran away!” Mrs. Monroe cries.
“Please,” you move toward her, resting your hand on her arm. “Let’s sit. Can Agent Morgan get you a glass of water?”
She nods, looking up at Morgan. “Thank you.”
Derek disappears into the kitchen.
“What makes you think Lila ran away? Other than her mood, were there any other signs?”
Mrs. Monroe shakes her head. “She’s talked about it before, told me she wanted to run away and that she hated me. I thought therapy would help with that, but it hasn’t.”
“Would her father help her at all? Run away, I mean.”
“Richard?” Mrs. Monroe asks. Derek reappears with a glass of water, handing it to her. “Thank you. No, he wouldn’t, he— She doesn’t even know what he’s done. I’ve never told her.”
“Would she be capable of finding out?” Derek asks. He takes a seat in the chair adjacent to you, resting his elbows on his knees.
“No,” Mrs. Monroe shakes her head. “I monitor all of her Internet searches, who she texts, who she emails, everything. She thinks I drove him away. That I didn’t love him anymore and told him to get out. She doesn’t know that it was because I caught him burying a body.” She sobs into her hand, her words barely decipherable now. “And now she’s gone and she hates me and I don’t even know where she’d go— it’s like I don’t even know my own daughter.”
You take the glass from her hand and allow her to sob into your shoulder. You know what this is like. Because you were once Lila, a runaway who left her mother in pieces until she returned home. Your circumstances were different, but not by much at all.
“We will bring her home, I promise,” you say, despite yourself. Despite not knowing what the rest of this case will entail, what else you’ll uncover. “Did Lila have any friends that you didn’t approve of?”
Mrs. Monroe shakes her head again. “She doesn’t have many friends, but she talks to one girl, Marie, almost every day.”
“Where is Marie right now?”
“At school,” Mrs. Monroe says, sniffling. “I called her mom right away. My mind went to the worst case scenario, you know, I thought Lila would grab Marie and convince her to go with her—”
“Convince?” you question.
Derek hears you and asks the next question you have on your mind. “Does Lila ‘convince’ Marie to do things she doesn’t want to do often?”
“Sometimes,” Mrs. Monroe admits, beginning to sob again. “Oh, God.”
You share a look with Derek, not liking where this is going, but you don’t know if you’ll get much else out of her right now.
“What things would Lila convince Marie to do?” you ask.
“Just small things, I don’t know,” Mrs. Monroe replies. She’s shutting down. “I don’t know why I said that, I—”
“Okay, okay, it’s okay,” you try to calm her down. “Do you mind if Agent Morgan and I take a look in Lila’s room?”
“How will that help?”
“We might be able to find something that could tell us where Lila might have gone,” Morgan explains. “Sometimes kids leave clues. We might be able to find them.”
Mrs. Monroe nods. “Okay. Can I— Is it alright if I lay down while you do that?”
“Of course,” you smile. “Come on, let’s get you to your room.”
You help her stand and walk back toward her bedroom, getting her inside. She lays down on top of the covers and shuts her eyes.
You close her door and meet Morgan back in the living room, his phone pressed to his ear.
“Y/N’s back, you’re on speaker, Hotch.”
You roll your eyes involuntarily. Hotch couldn’t leave the two of you — mainly you — alone, could he?
“Alright, I want the two of you to stay there and go through Lila’s room. Tell us anything you find. The school has given Garcia their security camera footage; she’s going through it now. It’s like she’s disappeared into thin air and that is not good.”
“We’ll find her, Hotch,” Morgan says.
Hotch is quiet.
“Mrs. Monroe doesn’t think Richard had anything to do with this. She says Lila doesn’t even know—”
“Morgan told me,” Hotch says. “Call me back when you have something new.” He hangs up and you roll your eyes again.
“I’m gonna keep a tally of how many times you do that,” Morgan teases.
“Be my guest,” you reply. “And keep me updated. I bet it’ll be in the hundreds by the time this case is over.”
Lila’s room is everything you’d expect from a regular pre-teen girl. And reminds you too much of your room when you were her age.
It’s almost like she’s too open. Posters are everywhere. Her favorite movies, actors, and bands. Her bed is made. Her closet is neat. The desk is covered in schoolbooks, yet also clean.
“Morgan, I know this room.”
He turns around. “What?”
“We can know everything about her from one glance. She’s organized. She loves English, hates science, but is very good at math. She likes alternative music, not boybands,” you point to the posters. “Fantasy movies only. Her closet is too neat. It’s like she’s not even living here.”
“I’m not following.”
“I think she’s been planning her escape for a long time,” you say. “Which makes me think she had help.”
“Okay,” Morgan goes with it. “From who? You heard her mom, she watches everything Lila does.”
My mom did too, you think to yourself as you pull out your phone. You already have Garcia on speed dial, something she suggested for you.
“What can I do for you, my new angel?”
Morgan chuckles while you answer Garcia. “Can you possibly see the search history after it’s been deleted?”
“Duh,” Garcia says. “Give me the IP address and I can show you all the dirty, dirty secrets on there.”
“Perfect, I’m going now,” you leave Lila’s room, peeking in Mrs. Monroe’s room to be sure she’s still resting. She is.
You head to the living room where you saw Mrs. Monroe’s computer. Thankfully, after wiggling the mouse, it comes right up. No password or anything.
“Okay, she must really watch what Lila does,” you mumble. As in, Mrs. Monroe must stand over her daughter’s shoulder before even letting her turn the computer on. “How do I…?”
Garcia laughs and tells you what to click to pull up the information she needs. You recite it to her and she quickly works her magic.
“Oh, no.”
“Garcia,” you reply warily. “I don’t like the sound of that.”
Morgan hears you and comes into the living room. “What happened?”
“I don’t know,” you glance at him. “Garcia, what is it?”
“I’m going to need a minute to go through everything but…”
“Garcia, spit it out,” you put her on speaker, lowering the volume so only you and Morgan can hear her. “Garcia?”
“I don’t know for sure, but at first glance, this looks…it looks like she wanted to go with this person.”
“Shit,” you mutter. “Okay. We’ll call Hotch, you keep digging.”
“Aye, aye.”
You turn the computer off and pocket your phone. “We need to go back to the precinct. I don’t want to risk her overhearing.”
“Okay. Good call.”
“I’m gonna let her know we’re leaving,” you say. “I’ll meet you in the car.”
You wake Mrs. Monroe briefly to let her know you and Agent Morgan are leaving. You assure her that you’re going to bring Lila home, but that you’re needed at the precinct right now, and don’t want to disturb her rest. You hand her your card, telling her the number is the same, even though it doesn’t have BAU yet on it.
Morgan is leaning against the car when you emerge outside, sick to your stomach.
“You alright?” he asks.
“Yeah,” you say. “Just hate lying to mothers.”
+++
You and Morgan decide to wait until you’re at the precinct to tell everyone what Garcia found. Better to break this news quietly in person than on the phone.
Hotch is speaking to a deputy when you walk in, but you flag him down with a nod, hoping he won’t take it personally. You’re too on edge right now to bother being irritated with him.
Once everyone is in the conference room, you shut the door.
“Garcia should be calling any minute,” you begin. “She’s going through Mrs. Monroe’s computer. Mrs. Monroe said she watches everything Lila does, but clearly not close enough, because Lila was on a popular chatting site talking with someone regularly.”
“Right she was,” Garcia joins in, having been listening on the nearby computer. Her smile is sad. “And it does not look good. I’m still digging, but a Rich34 was in constant contact with her. I’m talking every single night for hours. Mostly from 1am to 4am, while I’m assuming her mother was sleeping.”
“What do the chats say, Garcia?” Emily asks.
“Nothing more than small talk right now, but I’m digging. It’ll take a while though, sir, I’m afraid they’ve been talking for months. Almost a year, I think.”
“Dammit,” you mutter. “I was afraid of that.”
Morgan sends you a sympathetic look.
“Garcia, see if you can track Rich’s identity in any way possible. It could be her father,” Hotch says.
“Or someone posing as her father,” you suggest, earning a glare from Hotch.
“Hey Garcia, send over all the chats, I can help you look through them,” Spencer offers.
“Alright kiddo, PG out.” The line clicks.
“Reid, look for anything relating to Richard Monroe’s history, or maybe Lila’s mother. Lila and her mother haven’t been getting along, and Rich might’ve used that to get Lila away,” Hotch instructs.
Reid nods, already leaning over to grab the chat messages off the fax machine. Garcia knows him so well; she sent over hardcopies instead of electronic.
“Do we think it’s Richard Monroe in the chat room?” Emily asks.
“I’m not convinced,” Rossi says with a small shake of his head.
“I don’t,” you answer, shaking your head. “The username is too obvious.”
“He could be taunting us by using an obvious screen name,” Hotch counters. “He’s evaded us for this long. Why would he bother hiding now?”
“Yes, but I don’t think Richard Monroe is behind this,” you argue. “Murder in cold blood is his thing. So why wouldn’t he just go grab her from the house? Why is he playing the long game like this? Why form this emotional connection if he’s just going to kill her?”
“Because he’s a murderer with no regard for anyone’s emotions other than his own,” Hotch fires back. “And because he likely holds a grudge against his ex-wife for divorcing him and taking Lila away.”
Now all eyes of the team are on the two of you, going back and forth like a tennis match.
“He murders women his own age. Lila is barely thirteen. If he wanted her so badly, he could have easily grabbed her by now and killed her. Why wait almost a year?”
“Her mother is watching her closely, and he—”
“Oh now you agree that her mother is overbearing.”
“Yes, because you met with her and confirmed it with actual evidence,” Hotch snaps. He pauses, staring at you. “We cannot rule out Richard Monroe.”
“We’ll be wasting our time if we don’t.”
“Why are you so insistent?”
“Call it a gut feeling.”
“You haven’t been doing this job long enough to have a trustworthy gut feeling,” Hotch says coldly. “Now, if you want to continue arguing, I suggest you do so with the wall. Otherwise, we have a young girl to find and her father is a priority suspect. Am I clear?”
“As river water,” you mutter. “Excuse me.” You push past your new boss, hating that he’s already gotten so deep under your skin. Again.
