I just need every single person in this fandom who has ever been mean about Luke Newton to know that Nicola Coughlan hates you. Genuinely and wholeheartedly.

She hates you. Sure, she won't say it aloud, because she's a professional who knows her career lives or dies by fans, but please know that she does. She hates you if you've said Colin gave you the ick, especially so if you said it to Luke, she hates you if you've left a rude comment on his social media, she hates you if you acted like she didn't like him or that she was shading him, she hates you if you bullied the people around him, she hates you if you said something disparaging about how he looks or how he acts, she. hates. you.

And sure, it's not all people who are in her or Pen's fanbase, in fact a lot of people have been cruel about him outside of the Polin fandom, but a LOT of people are Pen fans, and hearing her talking about how defensive she gets over him when people say something rude about him? And knowing there are SO many stupid opinion blogs and youtubers and tiktokers who say they're Pen fans and Nicola fans but are mean as fuck about Luke?

I need every single one of them, in particular those who have been out here making up stupid shit to be mad at him about 'on her behalf' to know that when you say something mean about the man she gushed to her Mum about, and who her Mum was so excited to meet because she just knew he was kind, the man she introduced to her entire family, the man she is always reaching for and hugging and snuggling up to and calling wonderful and giggling around and saying how she wouldn't want to do such vulnerable intimate scenes without and complimenting and leaning on and having fun with and calling a special person in her life, she is taking off her earrings and ready to meet you outside in his honor

because she hates you for being a dick about him. hope that clears things up

Thinking about how most of the times we see Kol in tvd he's acting as errand boy for his siblings, starting with Rebekah asking him to kill Matt at the ball. If he cared solely about killing someone to spit in the face of Esther's rules he could have killed anyone else after Rebekah changed the plan. The second time, he's in Denver with Jeremy and texts Klaus to let him know if there's anything else his brother needs from him. And later Klaus calls on him to use his presence with Jeremy to threaten Bonnie into undoing the linking spell. Then he's there again to kill Mary when he finds out from Klaus that the mfg are trying figure out who they're sired from after breaking his cover in Denver. He's not even in series 4 up until Rebekah gets undaggered and suddenly he's there to retrieve the professor for her

I just think it's interesting that he's characterised as the volatile and reckless sibling and in the originals we learn that he constantly feels like an outsider in his own family with Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah making up their own little trio with Finn daggered. And yet anytime they need something he's there, almost as though he's still desperately trying to endear himself to them until he inevitably lashes out and gets daggered for it, his efforts constantly unappreciated. The only time he asks them for a favour that I can recall is when he swears Rebekah to secrecy about the dagger he's working on against Klaus only for her to tattle and get him daggered

i feel so bad for my girlfriend sometimes—or really, most of the time. she’s busy, and we’re not always able to text or call, and that’s okay. i understand that. but here i am, just… me. i feel so lame and boring. i don’t have much of a life. most days, i’m just at home. i don’t have many friends—barely any, honestly. so i’m not out hanging with people, and i don’t really get invited to things. nor do i get texts or calls from people.

it’s not like she’s out with friends all the time or anything. she just has a busy life. she has things to do, responsibilities to handle, and i admire that about her.

but i bring her up because whenever she doesn’t see a text from me for a while, she’ll apologize. she’ll be like, “i’m so so sorry,” and it makes me wanna cry because no one’s ever been like that with me before. no one has ever cared that much, and it just hits me so hard. she’s incredible, and i just hope she knows how much she means to me.

when I first watched the new star wars trilogy I didn't give a damn about Rey and Kylo, I didn't think either of them were hot or interesting, etc.

and then I saw everybody hating them on the Internet for literally No viable reason and decided, you know what. Love those bitches. Reylo fucks. I wouldn't touch either of them with a 50 foot pole but THEY would touch each other and that's super cool of them, and also reylo writers (except THAT ONE) run the world and I'm very glad for them for fulfilling their dreams and getting that sweet hard cash by basing their books on something they're ultra passionate about. Wish they could be me with my musketeers obsession.
