Sing it with me now, you all know the words: "This is another album I've never heard, from a band I'm otherwise quite familiar with."

Oh good... 8 songs on a 53 minute long album. I'm getting a vision of a double record with 2 whole songs per album side.

•Dancing With The Moonlit Knight-

Oh wait, shit, I think I put on King Crimson again.. nope, no, my bad. This is Genesis, I guess.

Are you sure? Cause this REALLY feels like King Crimson. Or maybe Emerson, Lake, and Palmer?

Either way, I'm really digging it. I only knew Genesis as way more pop and way less prog.

Legitimately had no idea these guys had this kind of stuff in their catalog.

I mean, Peter Gabriel, sure, but Phil Collins? No way.

•I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe)-

This feels VERY Peter Gabriel solo album, instrumentation-wise. He's always using the percussion instrument that I can never identify that goes "poing" in a low tone.

Lyrics feel very Phil. I really hate the title of this song. At best, they're sharing clothing, which is cool and good. At worst, it's Depeche Mode's Blue Dress but far creepier.

•Firth of Fifth-

Is this going to be about the bridge? No that was the firth of *forth*. Ah, so it's a pun.

Crazy math rock piano intro.

If this is a King Crimson album, this song is Moonchild. Slow, overly long, with weird, obtuse purple prose lyrics and a soft flute section for no good goddamn reason.

I do like the guitar work around 6:30 to the 7:30-8 minute mark, but again it feels Crimson-esque. Maybe not IN or OF the Court of the Crimson King itself, exactly, but certainly of a nearby duchy.

•More Fool Me-

This is just a tone poem.

It's pretty enough, but damn if this 3 minute long song feels longer than the previous 9 minute long song.

•The Battle of Epping Forest-

Perfectly normal to have old-timey wild west saloon piano plunking right next to spacey-ass synths in your interminable prog epic about a gang war.

Phil, bby, what is you doing.

(A note: ELP did this whole idea better with Benny the Bouncer, in the same year, in a song that's *10 full minutes* shorter.)

•After the Ordeal-

A pretty instrumental, which is quite the relief after 12+ minutes of semi-obscure early 70s British references I don't have any frame of reference for.

•The Cinema Show-

Another slow, long intro. I'm already not feeling this one.

Let's bring up Romeo and Juliet and then go nowhere with that. That's what they call "good writing".

Okay, the end gets really cool and synthy and almost sinister, and I'm enjoying it. Just a shame it took us 8 ½ minutes to get there.

•Aisle of Plenty-

Well, it's a song built entirely around a "Tesco" pun. Woof. At least it's not very long.

Yeah, I can see why Genesis went pop.

If you want a good British progressive rock album from 1973, just listen to Emerson, Lake, and Palmer's album "Brain Salad Surgery".

Everything here is done better there, including: "random old timey piano", "Very British Subject Matter", and "more than two incredibly long songs on a <10 track album", except all of ELP's songs absolutely fuck, the music is complex but actually interesting to listen to, and the cover art is by H.R. Giger.

I'll say it: the first 3 minutes of Toccata is superior to any section of this entire album, change my mind.

In fact, hell with it. This one's over, I'm putting Brain Salad on right now.

Favorite Track: After the Ordeal.

Yeah yeah, take a shot, 'cause Craig likes the instrumental the best. Who'd have figured. No disrespect to Mr Collins, but the man desperately needed an editor on this album.

Least Favorite Track: The Cinema Slow. I mean Show. (No, I lied, I really mean slow.)

To use a cinematic reference, Tarkovsky's Stalker feels fast-paced in comparison.

Singer, DJ, and composer Moby turned 55 years old

The nickname "Moby'' was given to Richard in honor of "Moby Dick", the novel by Herman Melville, who was his distant relative. As a teenager, the American musician played guitar in anarcho punk bands and studied philosophy at university.

"This train was my lifeline to New York, the most amazing place on the planet. I hated the suburbs. I was poor, strange, and into punk, living in this wealthy, conservative suburb, and this train, without exaggeration, saved my life and made me who I am."

In the late 1980s, Moby moved to New York - one of the centers of the emerging house culture.

"I was born in New York in 1965, on 168th Street in Harlem... All the time I was growing up, I dreamed of returning to New York. And only in the late 80s did I finally return and settle in an apartment on the Lower East Side. The city was full of drug-related gangsters, and people were dying all around. The rent was cheap, nightclubs were everywhere, hip-hop was booming, and house music was just starting to develop. Techno was something entirely new. The rave scene appeared, and young clubbers were still innocent. New York was ugly, dirty, beautiful, degenerating paradise."

Moby became a popular DJ at hip-hop and house parties that were starting up in New York clubs.

"There was a place called 'Mars' where I first got behind the decks. At that time, I didn't know that to get a job as a DJ, you had to already have DJ experience and know enough cool guys who had connections to those who hired DJs. I stood in line and gave my demo tape to the club's HR girl. On one side was a hip-hop mix, on the other was a house mix. She handed the tape to the guy who hired DJs. He called and offered me my first DJ job in New York. This allowed me to move to New York and helped me secure my first record deal."

His debut single "Go," released in 1991 with samples from "Twin Peaks," became an anthem of dance music, and the single "I Feel It / Thousand" entered the Guinness Book of Records as the fastest track in music history - with a bitrate of about 1000 beats per minute. Moby recorded remixes of songs by Michael Jackson, Pet Shop Boys, Brian Eno, Depeche Mode, Erasure, The B-52s, and Orbital. In addition, Moby reworked the theme of Agent 007 for the 1997 Bond film "Tomorrow Never Dies".

The fifth album "Play" (1999) sold more than 12 million copies and became platinum in two dozen countries.

"Perhaps this will sound banal, but working on "Play", I just wanted to record an album that people would like."

Moby always named "Natural Blues" as his favorite track on "Play". It is based on the Negro song "Trouble So Hard", recorded in 1937 by Vera Hall. At first, sales were sluggish. Radio stations refused to play the non-standard performer, and the music press didn't write about him.

Moby played "Play" in the basement of a music store. Danny Boyle used "Porcelain" as the soundtrack for his movie "The Beach". The film was a success at the box office - everyone wanted to see DiCaprio, who appeared on the screen for the first time after "Titanic". "Extreme Ways" plays in the credits of all five spy action movies about Jason Bourne.

"There's something liberating about huge success - you no longer have to try to achieve it. In the eyes of record companies, critics, and other people, anything you do afterwards may seem like a failure, but I never counted on any success."

Moby is known for his inventive videos with unconventional storylines, often with animation.

"I started drawing characters in the mid-1980s, when I was about 18 years old. And every bag of records that passed through my cash register was painted with these cartoonish big-headed characters. It's just a modest caricature of myself as a little space bug."

Moby dubbed the lonely and abandoned main character the "little idiot". A mini-album and the musician's own label were named after him. Richard records all his music in a home studio. "Why does my soul feel so bad," which won many awards, created a stereotype about its author as desperate and misunderstood.

"I'm the only child in the family. I like being alone. I like performing alone and recording music. Tell me, who can stand a person who wakes up at three in the morning and starts writing music? That's why I'm still alone. It saves me from all kinds of drama."

On his latest album "All Visible Objects," Moby returns from ambient music to old club sound. He no longer considers music his main job and spends more time protecting animals. Moby has been a vegan since the 1980s. He has collaborated with the organization PETA ("People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals") and human rights activists from MoveOn.

"Now I am a sober vegetarian, practicing yoga, meditation, tourism, and I enjoy being healthy. But a part of me would like to build a time machine, jump into it, and go back to 1989 in New York, to the dirty and beautiful streets, to that dirty and beautiful paradise."

An interesting song with a very odd but nice groove. I think this might be shr’s most Japanese song yet. A lot of imagery, as per many traditional songs, not sure if this is a love song or more general, but it’s not a bad song.

A minor hit for Chinozo but blew up after the New Year and eventually became the first VOCALOID song to pass 100 Million views on YouTube. Very much fits the corona vibes of the time and the iconic pose made for a quick impression.

Now we enter the KAFU section of the list, there are seven of them, and next one won’t be there for ages. So these seven are special in a way. This is the beginning of the Girl/Boy series by syudou, and the most famous of all of syudou’s songs. I think the song capture the intricacies of KAFU pretty well and it’s pretty quick too.

Song written as a collaboration with Bang Dreams, I believe. It’s a good song, regardless. Well, it has good parts but it doesn’t jell as a whole, unfortunately. Would have been nice if he stuck to a single idea, like his next song on the list.

A rare recent Umetora song, which has him strip back to solo songs. Nice use of GUMI’s dual language mode and much more refined gravure idol track, although I kind of like the business of his earlier song, to be honest. This is very good though.

Long version adds a couple verses here and there. I like the theme of being yourself outside the confine of society, and another pretty clear TG theme here. Yeah, it ends with the couple killing themselves, but they are dancing in the PV! How fun…

A song that shows DECO*27 is still at top of his game, he has a thing where he sees the trend and just… makes it his own. And the TikTok really works in his favor as he is able to concentrate on a single idea rather than string many unrelated ones. This is the seduction and the initial high portion of the Mannequin album, so… yeah.

A ProSeca song, for a Niigo event about heading out into society, and which syudou was in a similar position, apparently! That’s the first half, the second half is another response to Sand Planet, because that has become a genre of itself. Why do this on a commissioned work? Because he felt he needed to say in a commissioned work, as Sand Planet was a commissioned work itself. It’s biting in more ways than one.

"Are you ready to go home?" Matsukawa asked as he settled in on his seat across the aisle from you. His question made both you frown and his boyfriend scoff from where Hanamaki was sitting beside him.

"You know how they are about Japan, Issei." Hanamaki commented as he draped a blanket over himself.

"I know, but it wouldn't hurt to ask." Matsukawa said as he shrugged.

"I'm ready to go home." You said, missing the surprise on their faces. "I just don't know if I'm ready to see my parents. And the possibility of seeing her."

"I'm sure Shouyou would go with you if you visit your parents." Hanamaki commented while ordering a bottle of champagne for the three of you.

"Shouyou can't stand them. He sees them as the reason that he couldn't see me that often anymore." You responded, biting your cheek.

Your little brother had always been on your side through every decision in your life. Of course, Shouyou has no hesitation when it comes to calling your bullshit and excuses out, but he'd always supported you. After your last argument with your parents, he began to resent them in a way.

"You know that he doesn't blame you for choosing your freedom." Matsukawa said as he passed you a flute of the bubbly alcoholic drink.

"I know, but it's hard not to think that he does, or even stop myself from blaming me. Sometimes I find myself wondering how different things would be if I just did what my parents wanted."

You can't help but blame yourself for it, despite Shouyou saying that always said that it wasn't your fault. The thought of being the one to break your family apart has always plagued your mind.

"Would you have been happy with how things are if you stayed under your parents' roof?" Hanamaki asked. You looked over and smiled when you noticed that the reason why his voice is so muffled was because his face was hidden on Matsukawa's chest, the divider between their seats having been moved aside so they could cuddle.

"Maybe I could've been happy." You mumbled, hoping that the couple didn't hear it. Too bad for you, their ears have been trained by your mumbling for years.

"We all know that you wouldn't be happy, doll. Besides, some family traditions are shit anyway." Matsukawa said, yawning. Yawning truly is contagious, as both you and Hanamaki yawned too.

As you drifted off to sleep, you couldn't help but agree with Matsukawa's words.

After downloading and installing TweakApp or AppValley, you will also encounter 'Untrusted Enterprise Developer' problem and you can trust TweakApp or AppValley in the same way. Then search Spotify++ in TweakApp or AppValley and install it.

In the same way, you can also enjoy Spotify Premium for free by installing Spotify++ via TweakApp or AppValley.

However, please note that the Spotify++ app is not available to use permanently as Apple can revoke the certificate of the app at any time. When you meet 'Untrusted Enterprise Developer' again, try to download Spotify++ from TutuApp, TweakApp or AppValley and install Spotify++ again.

Method 4: Use Cydia Impactor to Install Modified Spotify App on iPhone or Android

Ever been in one of those situations where you put your trust in the wrong person. Yeah me to. I used to be "friends" with this female who turned out to be TOXIC! She caused so many problems in my life to a point where she would use me to lie for her, watch her brat of a child. When I met my husband back in 2014, the toxic female would try her best to break me and him up. It was early days in our relationship and she would always expect me to drop everything including date night plans to help her out of sticky situations. After seeing the effects of how miserable I was being made to feel, my husband eventually got me to walk away from the toxic female and finally be happy. I felt so much better without being associated with her. We never spoke again, would avoid each other in public etc. Fast for to a few months ago, I was waiting on a bus to work, she approached me trying to use my child as a pawn to win back "friendship" by telling me that my son's nan had passed away, saying I was to unblock her as she missed me. Obviously I didn't unblock her from my socials and the next time I saw my son I asked his uncle how his mum (my son's nan) was and that I hadn't seen her in awhile, he answered saying she is still struggling with the whole pandemic but is much better than before. That cleared that up. The toxic female told me a malicious lie. I mean has she no better things to be getting on with than trying to get me to fall for her BS 🐂💩 again.

My life has improved massively over the years I have been with my husband, we met in 2014, engaged in 2015 & married in 2016. Signs to look out for

1. You feel on-edge around this person, but you still want them to like you. You find yourself writing off most of their questionable behavior as accidental or insensitive, because you’re in constant competition with others for their attention and praise. They don’t seem to care when you leave their side—they can just as easily move on to the next source of energy.

2. They withhold attention and undermine your self-esteem. After first hooking you with praise and flattery, they suddenly become reclusive and uninterested. They make you feel desperate & needy, ensuring that you are always the one to initiate contact or physical intimacy.

3. Plasters your Facebook page with compliments, flattery, songs, and poems. They text you dozens, if not hundreds of times per day. You come to rely on this over-communication as a source of confidence.

4. Quickly declares you their soul mate. And for some reason, you don’t find it creepy. They tell you how much they have in common with you. On the first few dates, you do most of the talking and they just can’t believe how perfect you are for them.

5. Compares you to everyone else in their life. Ex-lovers, friends, family members, and your eventual replacement. When idealizing, they make you feel special by telling you how much better you are than these people. When devaluing, they use these comparisons to hurt you.

6. Lies and excuses. There is always an excuse for everything, even things that don’t require excusing. They make up lies faster than you can question them. They will always blame others—it is never their fault. They spend more time rationalizing their behavior than improving it.

7. No startle response. Total absence of anxiety, fear, and worry where there otherwise should be. They are also very easily bored by the familiar. You write this off as calm and cool, often feeling inferior and over-sensitive because you have normal human emotions.

8. Insults you with a condescending, joking sort of attitude. Smirks when you try to express yourself. Teasing becomes the primary mode of communication in your relationship. They subtly belittle your intelligence and achievements. If you point this out, they call you hypersensitive and crazy.

9. Uses social networking to provoke jealousy and rivalries while maintaining their cover of innocence. They once focused all of their attention on you, but now they post ambiguous videos and statuses to make you doubt your place in their heart. They bait previously denounced exes with old songs and inside jokes. They attend to new activity and ignores yours.

10. You find yourself playing detective. It is never happened in any other relationship, but suddenly you are scrolling back years on their Facebook page and albums. Same with their ex. You are seeking answers to a feeling you cannot quite explain.

11. Surrounds themselves with former lovers and potential mates. Brags that their exes still want to sleep with him/her, but assures you there is nothing to worry about. These people make you feel jealous and give off the perception that your partner is in high-demand.

12. Hyperbolizes emotions while displaying none of them. They make passionate statements like “I have never felt so happy in my life” in a completely robotic voice. It sounds like an alien trying to explain how they imagine human emotions might feel.

13. You are the only one who sees their true colors. Others will think they’re the nicest person in the world, even though they are used for money, resources, and attention. They will not care because he/she strategically distracts them with shallow praise (often done over social networking). Psychopaths are able to maintain superficial friendships far longer than their relationships.

14. Accuses you of emotions that they are intentionally provoking. They will call you jealous after blatantly flirting with their ex over social networking for the world to see. They will call you needy after intentionally ignoring you for three days straight.

15. Cannot put themselves in your shoes, or anyone else’s for that matter. You find yourself desperately trying to explain how they might feel if you were treating them this way, and they just stare at you blankly.

16. You are engaged in constant conversations about their ex. You know them by name, and you know everything about their relationship—at least, your partner’s version of events. The ex becomes one of the most frequent topics of discussion in your relationship.

17. You find yourself explaining the basic elements of human respect to a full-grown man/woman. Normal people understand the fundamental concepts of honesty and kindness. No adult should need to be told how they are making other people feel.

18. Focuses on your mistakes and ignores their own. If they’re two hours late, do not forget that you were once five minutes late to your first date. If you point out their mistakes, they will always be quick to turn the conversation back on you.

19. Suddenly and completely bored by you. Gives you the silent treatment and becomes very annoyed that you seem to be interested in continuing the passionate relationship that they created. You are now a chore to them.

20. The ultimate hypocrite. They have extremely high expectations for fidelity, respect, and adoration. After the idealization phase, they will give none of this back to you. They will cheat, lie, insult, and degrade. But you are expected to remain perfect.

21. Sometimes it seems as though they’ve forgotten who they’re supposed to be around you. They adopt different personas for different people—transforming their entire personality to match various audiences. It is always very eerie when they slip and accidentally use the wrong mask for you. You will start to feel that their personality just does not seem to add up.

22. An unusual amount of “crazy” people in their past. Any ex-partner or friend who did not come crawling back to them will likely be labeled jealous, bipolar, an alcoholic, or some other nasty smear. They will speak about you the same way to their next target.

23. Flatters your deepest insecurities. If you are self-conscious about your looks, they will call you the sexiest person in the world. If you have got a need to entertain, they will say you’re the funniest person they have ever known. They will also mirror your greatest fantasies, playing whatever role is necessary to win your heart.

24. Frequently comments about what you are wearing and how you look. They try to arrange you. You become obsessed with your appearance, noticing flaws that likely don’t even exist. During and after the relationship, you will spend significantly more time in front of the mirror.

25. You fear that any fight could be your last. Normal couples argue to resolve issues, but psychopaths make it clear that negative conversations will jeopardize the relationship, especially ones regarding their behavior. You apologize and forgive quickly, otherwise you know they’ll lose interest in you.

26. Obsessed with humiliating successful, kind, and cheerful people. Delighted by the idea of breaking up friendships and marriages. If you work hard to maintain interpersonal peace in your life, they will make it their mission to uproot all of it.

27. Gaslighting. Blatantly denies their own manipulative behavior and ignores evidence when confronted with it. They will become angry if you attempt to disprove their delusions with facts.

28. They expect you to read their mind. If they stop communicating with you for several days, it’s your fault for not knowing about the plans they never told you about. There will always be a self-victimizing excuse to go along with this.

29. Selfishness and a crippling thirst for attention. They drain the energy from you and consume your entire life. Their demand for adoration is insatiable. You thought you were the only one who could make them happy, but now you feel that anyone with a beating pulse could fit the role. However, the truth is: no one can fill the void of a psychopath’s soul.

30. Your feelings. After a run-in with a psychopath, you will feel insane, exhausted, drained, shocked, suicidal, and empty. You will tear apart your entire life—spending money, ending friendships, and searching for some sort of reason behind it all.

We can find that normal and loving people do not raise any of these flags. After a negative encounter, most survivors face the struggle of hypervigilance: who can really be trusted? Our gauge will swing back and forth for a while, like a volatile pendulum. We all wonder if we have gone absolutely mad for wanting to believe the best in an old friend or a new date, but also feeling sick to the stomach when actually spending time with them.

It is important to develop our intuition, but that is a personal process. The world is mostly full of good people, and we suffer a double punishment if we miss them due to the fear of being hurt again.

People need to set aside some time to get in touch with their feelings, and become comfortable with a balance of awareness and trust. The reflection offers understanding about our emotions. It helps provide understanding for which old relationships need to be refreshed, and which toxic patterns need to be abandoned and replaced by healthier ones.

Society conditions us to ask “does this person like me” instead of exercising critical thinking and asking “do I like this person?”

“jiho, come on!”

the night started out like any other night. it was friday so you had worked all morning at your stuffy job and you wanted nothing more than to let loose and have fun with your friends that night. hyoseob had texted you that they were all meeting at the club your little social circle frequented at 10 pm. he also informed you that it was your turn to get jiho to leave his cave that night.

getting jiho to leave his studio for more than 10 minutes was always a feat in itself. he was a workaholic, to say the least. he was always working on something, be it music or even a brand new one-man entertainment company. you weren’t sure how exactly you were going to convince him to leave that night.

you found jiho at his computer, his headphones covering his ears. when you walked closer, you could hear the start of a beat he was working on. it didn’t seem like he had even noticed your presence yet with the way his eyes stayed glued to the screen and his hands flew over the soundboard. without a word, you pulled up a chair next to him at his desk. you saw the way his lips twitched into a small smile and his eyes flitted towards you then back to his computer.

“did you get hyoseob’s text?” you asked him as he removed his headphones.

jiho let out a sigh and nodded. “but i can’t go, i have to finish this.”

“it’ll still be here when you get back,” you replied, with a playful eye roll. “besides, have you even left this room all day?”

he glanced your way and you could see the sheepish look he had on his face, giving you your answer. you always tended to go into parental mode when you found out your friends weren’t exactly taking care of their well-beings. woo jiho may be a famous rapper/idol but he was no exception to your nagging. 

“so i’m taking it you probably haven’t eaten in hours?” 

“i ate some noodles at like 3?” jiho shrugged, nervously playing with some switches on the soundboard, avoiding eye-contact. he was like a little kid getting reprimanded by his mother.

you huffed and stood up, tugging on his sleeve as you went. you saw the hesitant look on his face but you spoke before he could protest.

“we don’t have to go to the club but you at least need something to eat.”

jiho knew you well enough to know not to fight you. but he also appreciated the fact that you respected him enough to not drag him to the club, knowing he wouldn’t be able to have fun. of course, there were plenty of days when jiho would be more than happy to go out with all his friends and have fun. when he was in work mode though, there’s no stopping him; he’s focused and determined. 

that was the thing you loved about your friendship with the rapper, you both understood each other. sometimes you thought he even knew you better than you knew yourself. that’s why you considered him your best friend. 

“fine, but only for a little bit,” jiho finally gave in, standing with you. he pulled a nearby hoodie over his head and shoved his wallet and phone into his sweatpants pockets. he looked over at you with a questioning look. “the usual?”

you stared at him for a moment. you had always loved the more casual look on him. the effortless way he looked so handsome had always made your heart flutter but you would never tell him that. you had to shake yourself from those thoughts by flashing him a bright smile.

“yeah, the usual.”

10:25 pm

the usual was a little korean bbq restaurant around the corner from jiho’s studio that the two of you frequented. it was run by a sweet little middle-age woman and her son. she always knew exactly what you wanted the minute you stepped foot into the door. the first time the two of you had come for a late-night snack, she had no clue who jiho (or rather zico) was and once she found out, she never treated him any differently. she would scold him for not eating the same way you did and always bring him extra side dishes without asking. she was basically like a second mother to the two of you and you both adored her. 

she was there when you entered that night like she always was. you both greeted her as she motioned you to your usual table in the back corner. you didn’t even have to order as she brought out meat for you to grill and plenty of side dishes. she also didn’t hesitate to set down two bottles of soju before she bustled away to help other patrons. you almost called her back to take them since you hadn’t planned on staying that long but jiho stopped you.

“might as well since they’re already here?” he poised it as a question, letting you decide. 

you nodded in agreement before he reached over to fill your glass for you. you returned the favor and then you both raised your glasses and playfully clinked them together before each taking a sip. jiho set to grilling the meat as the two of you sparked up a casual conversation about your days. you then ate as you both sipped on a couple more glasses of soju. at that point, you both were a little tipsy but not drunk. 

out of habit, you pressed your palms to your warm cheeks and giggled at something jiho had said. his smile seemed to brighten as you laughed.

“you’re so cute,” he stated, matter-of-factly. 

you didn’t think much of the compliment as you brushed it off and continued your conversation. you always called each other cute, so this time wasn’t any different, right? 

it was when jiho blurted out how beautiful you looked that night that you really started to notice the shift in the compliments. they didn’t seem so innocent anymore. your palms began to sweat at the thought of them meaning something more. and apart of you hoped it wasn’t just due to the alcohol. 

you could never really pinpoint the moment in time when your feelings for jiho went from purely friends to pining for something deeper than that. it was just like one day, you wanted nothing more than to spend your days with him. he was handsome and smart and talented and undeniably sweet. it was no wonder you fell for him. but for so long, you had always assumed the feelings were one-sided and you had kind of come to terms with that. 

“let’s play truth or dare,” jiho exclaimed as you were lost in your thoughts. 

furrowing your brows, you shook your head. “isn’t it weird with just two of us? besides won’t it just us basically picking truth since there’s not much you can do in a public restaurant without getting kicked out, ji.”

he sighed, “fine, then just a game of truths. 20 questions, per se.”

eventually, you agreed. the questions started off tame from the both of you. nothing too scandalous, just “who was your first kiss,” or “would you do this, this or this for 1,000 dollars.”  

“who’s the most beautiful person you’ve ever seen?” you questioned, without really thinking. you smirked as you took a sip of your drink. 

jiho had met many enchanting people in his years as a celebrity so you were sure that one of them had caught his eye. he had dated a few women in the several years you had been friends so you were just waiting for him to answer with one of them. his answer shocked you, though. 

“you.” 

“oh, shut up,” you grumbled, leaning forward to shove his arm. 

he pouted as he rubbed the spot you had punched. “i’m serious, why do you never believe me? i always tell you how beautiful you are.”

you froze, ready to land another hit but your heart did a somersault in your chest. “are you flirting with me?”

jiho ran his hands through his hair as he met your unwavering gaze. “you finally noticed?”

you squinted at him from across the table. this was all so surreal to you. was he actually saying all these things to you or were you just imagining it? you half-expected to wake up from this dream at any moment in time. “wait, what do you mean, finally?”

he chuckled as he moved to pay the check. “you only get one question at a time.”

12:48 am

the two of you walked in silence back to the building where jiho’s studio was located. your head was still reeling from the whole conversation that you didn’t even know what to say. you wondered if he was freaking out too but as you looked over him, he took a deep breath of fresh air and smiled to himself; it seemed that wasn’t the case. 

you watched as jiho entered the passcode to his floor of the building before you finally built up enough courage to speak up.

“i’m just gonna head home now,” you mumbled as he looked over at you. 

“why?” he questioned, pushing the door open and holding it in place. “you usually stay over?”

he wasn’t wrong. usually after your late dinners, you would come back and fall asleep on jiho’s couch as he continued to fiddle with his music until the wee hours of the morning. you wanted tonight to be no different but at the same time, you knew that there was a conversation that needed be had and you weren’t sure if you were ready for it. 

“i just have some things i need to do early in the morning,” you replied. 

jiho seemed to notice how tense you had become and you saw the way his expression changed to disappointment. it made your heart clench. 

“i’m sorry if i made you uncomfortable,” he said to you and you could hear the sincerity in his voice. “i don’t know what came over me.”

you watched for a minute as he fiddle with his hoodie string before gently ushering him into the studio. “maybe we should talk about it?”

“okay, if you want to.”

you pulled him to the couch and sat down beside him. you could feel him staring at you as you tried to piece together what you wanted to say to him. 

“you didn’t make me uncomfortable, ji,” you started out. you saw him visibly let out a sigh of relief and you had to fight the urge to giggle at how cute he was. “i just want to know if you mean it? what you said about me?”

“i’ve never lied to you about anything so why start now?”

that was true. the two of you never lied to each other. you were always honest (at least when directly questioned about something). 

“and the flirting? what did you mean when you said i ‘finally noticed?’“

jiho let out a small laugh. he seemed shy in that moment. “just that you’re kind of oblivious.”

you went to protest but he cut you off. “like right now, you’re pouting at me, looking like the cutest human being on the planet because you thinking i’m making fun of you when in reality i’m trying to confess that i’ve been in love with you this entire time.”

you didn’t know what to say. your mouth opened and closed a couple times. but jiho just continued on.

“but maybe you did notice and all this time you’ve been too scared to say anything. i know you feel the same way but i wanted to wait until you were ready. i know it’s scary for you. it’s scary for me too. you’re my best friend and i would never want to lose you but i’m willing to take a risk if it means i get to finally hold you and kiss you and be with you.” 

he was right and you knew it. he always was. he knew you better than anyone so why would you ever think he didn’t know how you felt about him. what caught you off guard was that he felt the same about you. honestly, you never thought in a million years that he actually liked you, let alone loved you. and yes, you were scared. you were scared if he knew how you felt, he’d push you away and you’d lose your best friend. and even in that moment, you were scared of all the possibilities. 

“i can’t believe i’m confessing my deepest feelings for you, and you’re analyzing everything, even now,” he chuckled. he grabbed your hands and laced your fingers together. 

“jiho, i love you,” you breathed out finally, giving his fingers a squeeze. you knew you had to let go and just be in the present for once. you would never get this chance again. 

“i know,” jiho replied with a knowing smirk. 

“don’t quote star wars at me, you’ll ruin the moment.” 

“literally nothing could ruin this for me. not now. not ever. because i love you and that’s that.”

Second Sun: pt. 1~ Greta Van Fleet

Hey guys! This is my first time writing anything like this. I’m a massive fan of Greta and have been pissed to find that there is no fan fiction anywhere!!!! So I took matters into my own hands. Your mind isn’t a place that comes without chaos. It’s cloudy at times and riddled with worrisome thoughts and essentric dreams that spiral you into realizing that you’re not conventional in the least. This isn’t a new realization by any means, its obvious to you that your brain doesn’t function habitually. When you were younger you didn’t find yourself speaking your mind all that much due to anxiety, but you craved being heard, being noticed, being a person... that’s where writing came into play. It started off with poems, ridiculous journals that are so ‘edgy’ from when you were 12. It actually was “just a faze,” thank god, which made your mother happy...

Gradually through time and experience and aggressively going through far too many notebooks, your writing got far better, more natural for you, which lead to the true love of your life, music.

Music is constantly playing through your head, evident right now as you’re standing in line at Spill’n The Beans, hands down the best coffee shop due to the name alone. The people surrounding you look on curiously, unbeknownst to you, as you perform a detailed toe tapping/air drumming combo to the beat of You Shook Me by Zeppelin. The coffee shop wasn’t crowded this morning. Quiet, secluded, enough space around you to allow all of the thoughts and ideas to flow easily without the stress of other people to suffocate your mind. When you approach the front of the line you take your head phones out and get greeted by the warm, nostalgic smile of your best friend.

“Y/N, I’ve never been so happy to see your sexy self”

“My god Syd I saw you at home 40 minutes ago, miss me already?” You laughed at her look of betrayal knowing you’re in for a dramatic performance.

“Y/N Y/L/N I barely see you anymore and we live together. It’s all music now a days!” Her arms are on her hips now, mothering you like always. She complains of it, but you know deep down she loves to look after you.

You looked behind you making sure no one was in line waiting as she continued in a voice that was suppose to mock your own.

“‘Sorry love I have to practice bass.’ ’sorry Syd I have this tune stuck in my head and I need to go write’ ‘sorry Syd I’m just too fucking rock and roll to hang out with you and binge watch Harry Styles compilations anymore!’”

You looked at her for a moment, a smirk rising to your lips as your snorted a bit at your chaotic friend.

“Are you done?” You asked laughing.

“Yes, but I do miss you.” She said as she began making the same ice coffee combo you get every morning on your way to work, black cold brew with one pump of vanilla. A bitter sweet combo to kickstart your mind.

“I miss you too.” You spoke over the coffee machine. You did feel bad about not spending as much time with her as you wanted to.

“I get off tonight at 6, wanna have a movie night?” You offered.

Syd poked her head above the machine, her eyes crinkled, evident that she was grinning ear to ear.

“Nah I’m good.” She said smugly and ducked back down. If you rolled your eyes any harder they would be stuck.

“Got fuck your self, pick up snacks on your way home, I’ll grab McDonald’s. Lets have a date.” She handed you your coffee with a smile.

“Sounds like a plan. See you later sis.” She flipped you off as you walked out. It was a routine, a sign of love and endeaarance put into place god only knows how long ago.

Your drive to work was nothing abnormal. Songs shuffled and inspiration flew through your veins. Today you felt good. Hopefully it stayed like that, you thought.

You pulled up to Jackknife Records at 8:20am, 10 minutes early for your shift, per usual. Grabbing all of your belongings out of your car you made your way inside, immediately being greeted by your boss and owner of the store Rob.

“Morning Y/N!” His lanky arm waved happily towards you.

“Rob, my man, any cool drop offs last night?” You say making your way behind the counter to set down your stuff.

“There’s an old beat up Beatles White Album back there. She looks like she was used and loved, it’s still in great condition. It’s on my desk waiting for you.”

You always had this routine with Rob. If anyone dropped off some cool vinyls, or any odd ball things he thought you would enjoy he saved them for you in his office. You never asked him to, he just noticed you always bought records from the store so he quickly developed an idea for your taste. Which wasn’t really anything specific, if it had a good vibe you loved it. Good music is good music no genre or decade could put a box around it.

“You’re the best!”

You began your usual routine as Rob opened up the store. Stacking records, scanning and placing tags, the mundane things that brought the record store to life.

It was a slow day, seeing as it was Saturday morning and everyone was likely hungover from the night before. Days like this are your favorite, though you do enjoy busy days where you get to help people figure out their taste and what they want, or need, in their life musically, but days like this meant that you could listen to music and write.

Rob knew you got your work done through and through, so he was never bothered by you writing on the job or playing music for everyone to hear, occasionally even bringing your bass to work and playing in the corner. He knew you were a good worker and if anyone came in you’d take care of them. This place was like your home, had been for 2 years now since Rob offered you a job. He is an old family friend, went to high school with your dad way back in the day. So when you moved out to LA for school you dad made a phone call to Rob and he took you under his wing.

You helped out a few customers here and there, tidied up some more, but mostly all you did was listen to different music and sing along.

It was around noon now, so you began stocking some cd’s while Rob was behind the counter. Occasionally Rob would throw in a request here and there and take the store’s music into his own hands, which is why Whose Loving You by The Jackson 5 began playing over the speakers.

“Rob what the hell?” You laughed at him. You knew he put this on knowing it’s your go-to karaoke song. He does it at least once a week.

“Oh hush, no one is in here. Sing your heart out kiddo.” He joking dismissed you with his hand. You laughed at his ‘dad’ antics.

You continued stocking cd’s when your voice came in perfectly, the first run was second nature at this point.

“When I had you” you were being dramatic now, hand movements, extra ear plugging motions pretending like you were Christina Aguilera to be funny. Rob was laughing to himself as he walked into the back room. You continued, not even realizing he left.

You were back to stocking CD’s when the hook came around, singing effortlessly, but eloquently.

You sang through the song, not even thinking about the notes at this point. This song was constantly on loop in your brain since your dad showed it too you some 15 years ago. You were within yourself in those moments. Oblivious to all around you other than your voice, the song, and the robotic motions of CD’s organization. The bell ringing on the front door didn’t register to you as you went about singing. It wasn’t until the song ended and another one came on that you didn’t recognize that you looked up and noticed four guys, around your age, looking at you curiously. They were still standing by the front door, seemingly frozen in their place as they looked on completely infatuated with the sight in front of them. You. The tall one with long brown hair down to his collar bones with a jean shirt on began clapping for you, thoroughly impressed. You became flustered immediately going into apologetic mode, per usual.

“Oh my god I’m so sorry! I didn’t even hear you come in.” You paused looking at them expectantly for you don’t know what, but they just continued looking at you, smiling.

You began again,

“Sorry umm... feel free to look around. Sorry for singing so loud... let me know if you have any questions.”

You walked back to behind the counter to switch the music again. You hooked up your phone and just pressed shuffle, trying to find something catchy, but mostly something to smooth out your nerves at the moment.

You felt a presence in front of you, looking up you discovered it was the guy who clapped before, his friends scattered about the store.

“Hey! Your voice is sick. Sorry we interrupted your personal concert.” His fingers were tapping on the counter as he looked at you. It seemed more like a habit to him, not necessarily a motion of impatience or anything like that. He was kind, immediately you picked up on that, his smile was endearing.

“Oh thanks! And don’t worry about it, I was just bored.” You smiled back. This seemed to guide him into the conversation.

“Cool store by the way. You seem to have a pretty legit collection. My brother’s, my friend and I were just walking past and just had to come in. The music guided us, ya know?”

You laughed a bit at his relaxed nature, seemingly mirroring your own. You haven’t met many people like that.

“I feel that, music can guide you anywhere. Most of the time it’s where you need to go most.” You said as matter of fact.

He put his hand up for a high five, which you granted, “Hell yeah. I’m Sam by the way.”

He stuck his hand out towards you again, this time for you to shake.

“Nice to meet you Sam, I’m Y/N.” You chuckled as you shook his hand. He turned towards the other guys and released your hand.

“Hey, losers, come here really quick.”

He turned back to you and smiled before turned to the guys again. He stepped to the side so they could see you.

“This right here is Y/N she is dope, so far, and has a sick voice and clearly good music taste because look at that Bo Diddley shirt. I need that shit. I mean... Come on! We’re best friends now.” He smiled at you with a cheesy look.

They boys and you laughed at Sam’s antics, it was obvious that they were beyond use to the ridiculousness of Sam’s personality by now.

You quickly said, “Hey!” to all of them and they introduced themselves to you.

The tall one, about Sam’s height, walked up to you first. He was wearing a t-shirt with a very delicate floral design on it partnered with black shorts that hit just above his knee. His Birkenstock’s were well worn it, but in decent shape. He looked relaxed and childish in a way, a trusting face. Someone you could tell everything to, very trusting.

“Hey Y/N, I’m Danny. Nice to meet you! Love the shirt.” His smile was contagious. A kind soul. You smiled, your mouth opening to reply before someone spoke up.

“Your outfit in total is just suburb. The shirt, the high waisted shorts, the Birkenstock’s. Fantastic. I’m Josh by the way.” You were overwhelmed but not frightened in the least by his quick words. He seemed friendly as well, he spoke with his hands, twisting them, retailing every syllable with a flick of a finger. Very unique. That uniqueness ran through to his outfit. Short red shorts, a black flowing shirt decorated with layered necklaces with different details on each.

You smiled in your reply, “you’re very kind, also where the hell did you get your shoes, I love them.” They were small, black Toms looking shoes.

Josh smiles at you sweetly, even more in tuned with the conversation, which you didn’t think was possible, “Well you see, they are 100% recycled material. You can wash them and they have a lifetime warranty. I can give you the website, love them!” All the boys seemed to laugh at Josh’s enthusiasm.

The unnamed one speaking up, “Oh please don’t get him started on those damn shoes!” He laughed while stroking his bottom lip with his right thumb and pointer finger. “I’m Jake by the way. Lovely to meet you.”

Jake was intriguing to you. He carried himself differently than the other boys, as far as you could tell. Still kind and light hearted, more monotoned. He work black skinny jeans, brown boots and a grey t-shirt topped with a brown floppy hat.

You smiled at all of the boys.

“You guys seems cool. What brings you down here?” You move so you’re sitting on the counter, having a feeling you will be talking for a while.

Josh spoke up first, “We’re recording some songs at the moment, trying to get to an album, but we got stuck. So we decided to get some inspiration out here.”

The way he spoke was captivating, confident in a way that captured everyone’s attention. You were fascinated.

“LA is inspirational if you allow it to be. Are you guys all in a band?”

They all nodded their heads yes.

“Alright who does what? Wait can I guess?!” You we’re excited.

“Hell yeah go for it.” Sam said. They all stood in a line, it looked as if they were in a police line up, you giggled but stared at them intently.

“Alright... Danny, you’re the drummer.”

“Fuck you’re good!” Danny said laughing and stepping out of line walking over to you giving you a high five.

“It’s the arms my man, dead give away.” You smiled at him and continued. “Sam... singer? No. No. No. guitar?” You questioned. Crossing your arms, looking far to serious for this situation.

“Ha! No! I’m bass and keys baby!” He then played air piano aggressively and walked over to stand with Danny.

You laughed and continued.

“Josh, you’re obviously the singer.” You said with false confidence.

“Woah!” Josh was shocked. “What’s so obvious about it!?”

“My friend, you annunciate your words eloquently, so it was a good guess.” You said smiling at the curly haired man.

“Touché Y/N. Touché.” He walked towards the other boys while staring you down jokingly.

You hopped off the counter walking towards Jake. Jokingly inspecting him you walked around him pretending to judge him harshly.

“Hmmmm... Jake Jake Jake.” You stopped standing in front of him, looking up into his eyes. You were taken aback a bit by his steady glare, a smirk appeared on his face.

“You, darling, are a guitar player.”

He smiled at you, “oh yeah?”

You walked away jokingly confident, “yes of course, your hands are calloused to all hell.”

Sam jumped towards you throwing his arm around you, “Damn Y/N 3/4 ain’t bad at all!”

They all laughed along. You realized you knew what they all played, but no idea what band they were in.

“Wait, what’s the name of the band. Maybe I have heard of you!” You looked at Sam expectingly.

“Greta Van Fleet.” He said nodding his head down firmly, seemingly proud.

“What kind of music do y’all play?”

“Give me your phone I’ll show you!”

You grabbed your phone, unlocking it and handing it to Sam. He immediately opened Spotify. While Sam was looking them up Josh looked like he got an idea.

“Y/N you should come by tonight! We’re having a bonfire, it’ll be fun!”

You go to reply but the sound of a guitar blaring through the speakers interrupts your train of thought. You’re instantly taken aback by the music. Immediately feeling your body bounce with the beat, you begin to press your fingers on your right hand to your thumb. An anxiety coping mechanism that centers your focus onto one thing. It’s a habit of yours.

The boys look at you curiously again, but you don’t notice.

Jake smiled and explained, “This is Black Smoke Rising.”

You agknowledge him with a smile and a head nod. Far too into the music to reply. This always happens to you, your ear for music goes beyond the lyrics and main instruments. You’re a song writer through and through, you connect with songs in a euphoric way, and uncontrollable reaction.

The song comes to an end. The boys look at you, waiting for your response. You stared at all of them, taking your time looking at each and every one of them for a moment.

“Guys, that was absolutely sick. That’s just... Sam give me my phone.”

He immediately handed it over to you.

You quickly save their music to your library and follow the band.

“We have a new fan!” Josh says with a smile as wide as his face. He continues, “so will you come tonight? Please?” He batts his eyes at you pleading.

You hesitate, “I would love to, but I have plans with my best friend Syd tonight. I can’t bail.”

All the boys looked at you, evidently bummed by your answer. Jake is the one who spoke up.

“See if she wants to come! If not, that’s fine. Here, put your number in my phone. I’ll text you the details.” He handed you his phone. As you typed in your number you said hopefully,

“Perfect! I’ll see what I can do!” You smile at all of them, Jake opened his mouth to say something when the front door bell rang followed by a group of teenagers coming in the store. You looked over seeing that the group was looking a little lost.

“Well boys, it was lovely to meet you, but I do have to get some work done. I get off at 6 tonight, so I’ll let you know if I can make it!”

The guys looked at you with big smiles filled with excitement.

“Wonderful!” Sam said clapping his hands together. “Just let us know!” He smiles and have me a side hug before walking towards to door. Josh said goodbye to me next with a hug and an excited clap of his hands, leaving with a wink causing you to laugh. Danny walked over to you and gave you a sweet side hug, “Hope you can make it tonight Y/N!” He waved to you while he walked away.

You smiled and waved as he walked out the door, chasing after the other boys who were out of the store by now. Your eyes fell to Jake who looked at you with an amused face.

“What?” You looked at him and giggled.

“You’re just...” He shook his head and smiled at the ground before continuing, “I hope you come tonight Y/N.” He took a step towards you and stopped, shuffling his feet, debating something, before walking towards the door. He stopped and looked back at you, “I’ll text you, alright?” You nodded your head towards him and waved goodbye before he walked out the door.

You went back to work, helping the other customers in the store before finishing your cd stocking. Rob came back out from his office and sent you on your much needed lunch break.

You made your way to the back room with your lunch box in hand, a nervous smile spreading on your lips while you pulled out your phone quickly typing in Syd’s contact to shoot her a text.

Y/N: Soooooo... How do you feel about going to a bonfire tonight instead a movie night🤗

Syd: Y/N. I don’t like people. You know this.

Y/N: Yes, but I will still buy you McDonalds, and there will be cute boys👏🏻

Syd: I mean... you had me with the nuggets, but boys help. You owe me. 🖕🏻

Overall Company

Dimensions is in a good place right now for the most part. Lucid’s recent viral success and continued steady rise, 7ROPHY’s solidifying themselves, and continued and upcoming tours and concerts for most of their artists means profits are doing better than predicted. Under Dimensions, this doesn’t mean praise and a break nearly as much as it means heavy expectations and more schedules being packed into the same small period of time, though.

Another tour concert is her first public schedule this month though she’s still making comeback preparations behind the scenes, and then she’d been booked by Dimensions to perform multiple times at clubs during a local gay club pride festival, in the set list alongside her labelmates Gal.actic. She’s popular with the Korean LGBTQ community, so it pays well enough for her, but Dimensions will not be making an effort to publicize these performances to anyone not in attendance.

He’ll also get stage practice this month in the form of a festival he’s been invited to perform at alongside some of his labelmates.

Dimensions has also arranged for them to perform multiple times at clubs during a local gay club pride festival amid a set list of drag queens and go go dancers, finally aiming for a demographic of men that don’t seem to have as negative an opinion of them, but the performances will very purposefully not be publicized at all to avoid whipping up another scandal involving politics.

The members are busy with MV filming and final comeback preparation like filming for multiple dance practices (normal and eye contact), promotional photoshoots, fittings, and filming of behind the scenes content for most of the month. English lessons (that may overlap with MARS) continue to be pushed in preparation for their iHeart Radio Festival performance and further English language promos next month. Their world tour begins in October, so they’ll also fit in practice for that before and after their comeback on the 26th. Their comeback gets off to a successful start in the final week of the month, proving their continued upward trajectory.

Promotions for Callin’ end early in the month and then schedules calm down some for them again. They’re booked alongside two other Dimensions acts for a festival performance and Dimensions has signed a deal for them with Jambangee, a denim brand, which they’ll be shooting a CF for in the latter half of the month. Despite being a domestic focus for Dimensions in the midst of other groups getting an international push, they’ll be hosting a fan-con in Canada next month, so the members will be given additional English lessons to prepare. Some of these lessons may overlap with Alien’s.

This month’s comeback doesn’t seem to have quite the same public impact as their last two, but it isn’t big enough of a difference to send Dimensions into panic mode since the fans seem to receive it well. Promotions are in full effect with fan signs, festival performances, and variety show filming. 7ROPHY’s award season also begins at the end of the month and they’re sure to be on the receiving end of award show invitations for almost every major award show this year, something that's still new for them. Between other schedules, the members will also be recording for their Japanese comeback EP this month, their first release in the Japanese market in over three years.

It’s promotion season, so Unity’s workload isn’t lightening up any time soon, even after the stress-filled hectic schedules of last month. In addition to filming the MV for their next Japanese single and doing regular promotion activities, Unity is still touring, taking on Thailand and Russia this month with constant flights back and forth from Seoul to fit in their domestic schedules amond their international concerts. It’s a lot on the members’ plates, but in typical Dimensions fashion, the company doesn’t seem very concerned about whether they can handle it or not.

Lucid

In the wake of Lucid’s viral success, Dimensions has decided to push the group hard into promotions (including additional fan signs) designed to make them a popular name with the general public. A number of love calls from broadcasting stations and festivals have come in since the video began to spread, and Dimensions has been fielding them to spread out over  the next few months, starting with an appearance on Weekly Idol this month.They’ll also begin filming a reality show for skyPetpark called Lucid Look After Our Dog, which will air over twelve episodes later in the year. For the first day of filming, they’ll be tested on their dog knowledge and split into teams to compete for the title of best petsitters, and on the second day the teams will meet their dogs. Team A will take their dog on a walk around Hongdae while Team B will do a photoshoot with their dogs modeling dog clothes at a Cheongdam studio. Each team will also go shopping for their dog(s). Each team will then do a live broadcasts with their respective dog(s), competing to see  who can get the most viewers, ending in a win for Team B.

Overall Company

There’s still whispers around the company about an end nearing to the Goeun situation, from talk that she’s going to sign with Gold Star due to the article about her meeting with Bang Sunyoung last summer to rumors that BC is going to completely blacklist her and sell rumors about her to the press, but any higher-ups or legal employees who hear people talking are quick to shut them down and give a lecture about gossiping. The retreat could very well serve as a good distraction for everyone in the company. Still, everyone under the company being encouraged to attend their labelmates’ events (namely Lipstick’s concert this month and WISH’s concert next month) in the coming months to show a united front could be taken as a sign something’s coming.

Decipher

Now that active promotions for their latest comeback have concluded, this month is spent on preparing for their sold out fan meeting at the end of the month. The fan meeting is awards show themed, so each member will be tasked with working with their managers to come up with a (semi-)comedic award title to be presented to them and a speech that will accompany it. There will also be performances of a handful of their recent title tracks, a cover stage by each member, and an unexpected performance of “Heartthrob” by Decipher V as an unofficial tease of the unit’s newly planned return.

This month, Decipher V is called into a meeting announcing BC plans to have them make a comeback this year after after five years, likely due to the company’s decreasing profits, but no one outright says that. Preparations are set to begin next month.

BEE

Their comeback this month does very well, not that BC would have settled for any less. It looks to be the surefire song of the summer (until Femme Fatale comes back and proves to be major competition for that title, that is). Two variety show appearances are also scheduled, where they’ll be asked image-building questions approved by BC about re-signing with BC, their future hopes for the group, their friendship, and show off their special skills and tell cute stories. At the end of the month, they’ll be announced as one of the new Seoul Metropolitan City Ambassadors and attend a ceremony with the other chosen figures.

Knight

Knight will be staying a few extra days following the Hawaii retreat in Hawaii to film for a group photo book that will be released later in the year. There isn’t much publicly on the schedule this month save for an appearance as the “dream stars” on an episode of Stage K where they’ll serve as the panel giving feedback on cover groups performing several of their songs and give an interview with questions on their favorite Knight choreography, the hardest Knight choreography, and the most memorable choreography to them. Privately, they’ll be spending long hours at the company building finishing album recording early in the month and then going on to learning choreographies for the new songs and doing photo jacket shoots for the album. They’ll film the music video during the last week of the month. Additionally, they’ll be filming a CF for Lotte Duty Free as part of BC’s mission to take full advantage of a potential company partnership with Lotte.

              ↳ White Knight

While the full group records and prepares for their comeback next month, the White Knight members are also recording for a Japanese single release at the end of the month. They already recorded an initial version to perform the song on their Japanese tour last month, but management wants to re-record parts before it’s officially released, so they’ll be in the studio to fix parts. After this single release, it seems White Knight won’t have any schedules for the foreseeable future, another sign of BC’s shifting focus to their junior group.

Lipstick

Their tour kicks off in Seoul mid-month, which means the two weeks leading up to it are busy with rehearsal. The concerts will also include their first performances of their new single a few days before it releases on top of their greatest hits from throughout their career. They’ll also be filming a CF for Lotte Department Store, who is helping sponsor their tour, this month. On top of that, word has passed down that the company plans for Lipstick to release a new Japanese single around October, the music video for which will have a brief nostalgic flashback to First Love era with a pole dancing intro, so the members are back into pole dancing lessons a couple of times this month to reteach them that skill in case they’ve forgotten.

CHARM

Members are allowed to begin moving out on June 17 after returning from their main schedule this month (though they’ve only been trainee debt-free for about six months thanks to their size), a fan sign in Kuala Lumpur as part of their group deal with The SAEM. Said fan sign won’t go as smoothly as BC had hoped thanks to a delay in getting through the airport leaving the group arriving two hours later than the scheduled start time, but once they’re there, they’ll go through normal fan sign duties and be asked questions by the event’s MC about their skin care routines, which member has the best bare face/skin, and do their best fan service to apologize for their late arrival. Next month, they’ll become BC’s next group to embark on a 2019 Japan tour (before a Japanese release in the third quarter of the year), so rehearsals for that are underway as well.

WISH

The general public and fanbase may not see WISH’s latest comeback as a complete failure, but WISH’s team is in emergency mode and jumping on the performance of their latest single as a glaring warning sign. They may have outsold themselves physically, but “Fancy” was their first promoted single not to go number one in three years and also only achieved one music show win, a low only slightly above their debut song and “Dream Girls”. Their team is cracking down with stricter diets and curfews and more practice time, seemingly punishing the members for results most other girl groups spend their whole careers wanting to achieve. Rumors of summer comebacks from WISH’s biggest competition isn’t helping things either, and may explain BC’s rush to sign onto a new contract with Estèe Lauder and get a CF filmed.
