Damian was once reminded of a quote.

God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers.

The saying held no meaning for him, but it slipped out of his mouth once when his mind was wandering and hazy, and his self-control was null.

The boy sitting beside him huffed, a flicker of amusement flashing across his face. The most emotion either of them has been able to express for a while now.

"That line is bullshit," the boy whispered. His voice was hoarse and raw. Damian had to strain to hear him. "I've met many gods, and they would rather sacrifice their soldiers if it meant their own survival."

Damian's head lolled to one side, contemplating his words. "Indeed," he croaked. "I've met my fair share of gods as well. They were, how do you put it..."

"Wimpy? Disappointing? Underwhelming?" The boy offered. The conversation wasn't the most cheery subject to talk about, but it served to fight off the medicine that was attacking their minds.

"Soft-bodied bitches." Damian let out an uncharacteristic snicker. The boy broke out into giggles, that soon transformed into violent coughs. Thick blood was spat onto the ground, and the temporary joy dissipated from the air.

No jokes could cover up the fact that they were trapped.

Well, not trapped. They'd been captured. And caged. Like fucking animals. It was humiliating and terrifying at the same time.

When Damian first landed in this dimension, he immediately knew something was off. He paid no mind to the empty streets of a half-destroyed town nor the strange graffiti and green fog that reminded him of Fear Gas. Blast marks made his footsteps dirty, but he barely even noticed. What was truly unsettling to him was the immediate pull he felt toward a certain direction. His very soul was crying out desperately for something, and it was all Damian could do to follow the urge.

He walked for what felt like hours. Glowing eyes peeked at him from the shadows, scattering when he approached. The fog got thicker, dragging at his bones and making his heartbeat feel slower. The silence was mind-numbing, and he didn't dare make a peep.

As he got to (what he assumed) the center of town, Damian noticed a thick, rotting stench replacing the fog within the span of a few blocks. Glowing red flowers lined the sidewalks and streets, sometimes sitting in piles in the mouth of alleyways or arranged in a line across the doorway of a shop. Like how one would salt their home to ward off evil. When he tried to get a closer look and possibly a sample, his body physically recoiled from the flowers as if stung. The mere presence of them made him feel sick.

So he ignored them for now. Damian continued to trudge along in a straight line, following his instincts. As the fog lifted even more, sound returned to the world as well. The town was truly abandoned, then. No sirens or car horns were going off. No one was running through the streets, panicked about the fight that had obviously taken place.

What Damian did hear was two voices raised in anger, a third in fear, and the sound of concentrated explosions happening nearby. He broke into a run. The fight that brought him here had done some decent damage to his outfit and person. His mask was barely clinging on, his armor was digging into his skin strangely, and he'd lost his weapons, but as soon as Damian had heard that third voice, he just had to run.

Damian knew he was going against all his training by rushing into the situation. Logically, he should have backed out as soon as he heard the commotion. Maybe retreated completely or at least snuck around to assess the situation first. But no, here he was, barely keeping his secret identity intact, bolting towards a group of unknowns like his life depended on it. His mind screamed at him that it did.

He finally rounded a corner and nearly tripped on the excessive rubble. He'd made it to the town square. There were more red flowers and blast marks. A pair of adults, one impossibly large man and a smaller, lithe woman in hazmat suits, were standing back to back, glowing guns raised as they searched the sky and ground around them. He stepped behind a chunk of concrete to hide himself better.

"Show yourself, Phantom!" The woman screamed. She was so full of rage. "There are blood blossoms surrounding this whole area; I know you can't leave!"

There was a slight shift in the rubble to Damian's right. Without hesitation, the man spun around and shot the pile. Damian didn't have time to move, so he just crouched and covered his head while a blast of green light destroyed the pile and surrounding debris. When the light cleared, Damian was distantly horrified to find that his cover had taken on the brunt of the rebound blast and had been reduced to pebbles. His cover was gone.

The man immediately noticed him.

"Oh, look, Mads! Another one!"

The woman whipped around to study his tiny figure, still curled up to protect himself. Damian knew these were dangerous people. Why couldn't he get up and run? The woman grinned awfully and hiked up her gun-more like a bazooka-to aim at Damian.

"How wonderful, Jack!" She crowed. "Phantom would never leave one of his kind behind. And this one is so human-shaped! It looks just like Danny."

"Using the pest as bait? I'm so glad I married you, Maddie." The man gushed, slipping his goggles and hood off to gaze lovingly at his wife.

Damian's heart stopped. He couldn't take his eyes off the evil, terrible look on the man's face.

"Father?" He mouthed.

The couple didn't notice. The woman just took aim, and for the life of him, Damian couldn't force himself to move.

That was his father. That was Bruce Wayne in a hazmat suit, shooting up a city without regard for human life. That was Batman, who was pointing a gun at his face, no recognition showing in his eyes whatsoever.

The bazooka went off first.

"NO!" Someone cried, coming out of nowhere and slamming into Damian's frozen form. His head bounced off the ground, and the last thing he saw was his own eyes staring back at him.

Damian came back to himself slowly. It was unnaturally bright where ever he was. His limbs were stretched far straighter than he would have liked them, and the feeling of dried glue on his face told him that someone had captured him, stripped him, and tied him to a table.

This time, though, his training did kick in. As soon as he was aware of himself, he regulated his breathing so it would appear he was still asleep. The air still smelled of rot and concrete dust, but there was a sharp tinge of chemicals in there, too. It was chilly despite no nearby AC vent going. A lab? Underground, perhaps? He dared not open his eyes, but he could feel something familiar laying on his left.

A door hissed open, and the voices of the couple from earlier entered, arguing with a third party.

"-said we got to start the dissections first!" The woman, Maddie, demanded. "That was our deal! If we handed Phantom and any other specimens over to you, the lab would let us have the first go for the experiments!"

"Yeah!" Added in Bru-Jack's voice. "We could learn so much from a powerful specimen like Phantom, and he's been a pest to us much longer than he has been to the GIW. We can put him back together for the rest of your scientists if you really want."

The third-party spoke, sounding irritated and exhausted from arguing. "Listen," they stressed, flipping through papers. "I'm not saying you can't partake in the agreed-upon experiments. I'm saying that you failed to fulfill a crucial part of the contract and cannot even look at a scalpel until you complete your part of the job!"

"WHAT?!" Maddie screeched. There was a flurry of paper sounds, so Damian assumed she'd snatched a pile of them from the third person's hands. There was a moment of silence while she read, and then, "Oh, fudge cake! Jack, the contract states we have to provide a minimum number of specimens plus Phantom in order to be let into the labs. We'll have to go out and round up as many as we can before we start dissecting."

Jack grumbled. "Fudgin' lawyers and their tricky tongues."

The third person tsked them and snatched the papers back. "No lawyer trickery was used here, Mr. Fenton. We prepared this document in good faith, seeing as we're already business partners. It's not our fault you signed before reading. Now, I heard that the Manson house has been a well-known haunting spot ever since the family moved out. Perhaps you should start there?"

Jack and Maddie grumbled some more but agreed and left the room, with the third person sighing and following them. The door locked shut with a click that echoed in Damian's ears. He waited for a breath. Then two. Once he was sure the party was gone, he cracked open his eyes and looked to his left, where his soul was still trying to reach.

There was a boy staring back at him.

Strapped to a table, just like Damian, a thin and lanky boy around his own age seemed just as surprised as him when they locked eyes and something clicked in their brains. Damian realized that while the boy was obviously not human, with his floating white hair and dim green eyes, he did share the exact same face with Damian, if not extremely paler. In fact, the boy's skin was deathly, almost taking on a mottled blue-green tinge he'd seen dead bodies develop.

The boy got over his surprise first. He grinned at Damian, clearly exhausted but obviously trying to make the situation seem less dire than it actually was. "Why, hello, stranger," he quipped. "What a good looking face you have there."

"Of course you would say that." Damian snapped automatically.

The boy just chuckled, unfazed by his attitude. "Chill out, my guy, I'm just joking. If I had to guess, you're from another dimension, right?"

Damian stiffened up, straining against his restraints. "How did you know that?" He hissed, glaring.

The boy sighed. He suddenly looked much older than either of them had any right to be. "You reek of the Deep Zone, dude. It's not something humans can smell easily, but with a little practice, you should pick it up quick."

"What makes you say I'm not human? And why-"

"Why did you feel a connection?" The boy turned his head back to the ceiling, eyes unfocused. He looked and sounded very sad. "I'm pretty sure we're alternate versions of each other, my dude. I've met a few other versions of myself, mostly from other timelines, but you're the first one who is so obviously different and so similar at the same time. It's weird."

Damian's heart dropped.

"...Alternate versions of each other?"

The boy nodded. He was refusing to look at Damian's reaction. Scared of rejection. "Yeah. And every version of me has died and come back in some way at least once, so by the time we're a preteen, we no longer identify as strictly human. Although," his voice grew bitter. "We do get pretty good at blending in, according to others."

Damian examined the boy more closely. His outfit was falling apart from whatever he'd gone through, but it was very clearly an old hazmat suit with a logo on the chest. Scars, both new and old, littered his skin, some of them matching the scars on Damian's own body. His eyes weren't dim originally, it seemed. They had swirled and glowed brighter when the boy had spoken, and his whole demeanor screamed exhaustion. Thinking back on everything he learned since being dropped in the middle of the street, Damian put two and two together quite easily.

"You're a hero." Damian pointed out. "An undead hero." The boy flinched but nodded.

"Was. The key word there. Not many people enjoyed having a ghost around to save their asses, even when it was from other ghosts." He held no resentment in his voice, just genuinely upset and betrayed that the people he had protected for so long and loved so much had turned on him, and abandoned him in his time of need.

"And, these people don't think the undead are...human?"

"Not in the slightest. We're apparently unfeeling monsters with no sentience but are driven by a single goal to destroy anything living."

"So now we are to be dissected? For what? The ghosts I know don't have physical bodies. What use would this be?"

The boy scrunched his nose. "Damn, your universe must really be out in the sticks if your ghosts aren't solid." Somehow, Damian felt offended. "Don't give me that attitude; I can feel you judging me. Anyway, the ectoplasm here is much thicker than other universes, so most other ghosts can walk around and act just like humans if they want to. They just usually don't because we are technically a different species. It's like asking a dog to act like a cat."

"Hmm. I'm starting to understand."

"That's great!" The smile returned, and the boy turned his head a little too far to make proper eye contact once more. "By the way, I never got your name. Do we share the same one?"

"Perhaps. I go by Damian Wayne. What is your name?"

The boy gave him a shark-toothed grin, one that was barely familiar. It reminded Damian of his grandfather. "Oh, my ghost name is Phantom, but my living name is Danny Fenton."

Ooooh I just came up with an idea

You know all of this fics where Danny is an alternate universe version of like Bruce or Jason? What if it was with Damian

There could be some kind of ritual that sends Damian into Danny’s universe only they both get caught by the GIW and Everything Goes Wrong

By that I mean both of them get vivisected. And the Fentons should do at least some of it, and that Jack looks just like Bruce for extra ✨trauma✨

They both go on the Road Trip of Hell while escaping and Danny’s just working on building a temporary portal to the Ghost Zone/Damian’s home dimension.

I want Danny to lean out of a car with like a mcguivered bazooka or something to try and drive off the GIW for a while with some kind of crazy/stressed smile back at Damian.

I want little moments where they’re bonding/teaching each other how to fight (Because Damian knows formal fighting, and if we go with Danny knowing some self defense from his mom he’s not completely horrible at it, but Danny knows how to fight like a feral raccoon. It’s effective and Damian DOES like animals right?)

I want them to finally get to Damian’s dimension and when they finally finally gets to the bats and Bruce reaches out to help his son Damian flinches

And then I want it to get into the fluff/healing/trauma dumping part where the newly dubbed twins (who get along scarily well and everyone is pretty sure are trauma bonded) are healing while simultaneously causing the other bats to become more and more distressed (it may or may not be on purpose)

It would also be pretty cool if their habits and mannerisms rubbed off on one another, so they can be uncannily similar one moment then completely different the next

I also had the idea of them being literally the same soul- like, the soul that originally formed was completely identical when they were babies but diverged due to different experiences, so it’s literally a ‘same soul two bodies’ thing. I just think it would be neat, even if it’s not even really mentioned, but just like, Implied you know?

There was this poll on Twitter who would win a fight, Neil and Renee, and Renee won. By a landslide.

While I love Renee Walker, being the absolute badass she is, let's not underestimate our boy Neil.

Natalie learnt how to fight because she was in a gang. A place where you had to kill or be killed, and be strong enough to fight for yourself to gain respect. She learnt to fight as an act of self preservation, maybe that's why she was trying to leave it all behind when she started over as Renee.

Now let's talk about Neil. Nathaniel was raised by a literal Butcher, a serial killer who enjoyed causing pain. For the first 8/9 years of his life. You think no one taught him how to fight? Lola taught him how to use knives and I do not believe she would be a gentle teacher in any way.

Nathaniel watched his father butcher a man with Kevin and Riko and didn't bat an eyelash.

This boy was raised on violence, murder and torture.

Nathan Wesinski, Mr Create a perfect picture and intimidate everyone would make sure Nathaniel could and would drop a man, not to defend himself, but as a power move.

Then he was on the run for about a decade with Mary Harford, another mafia baby. Mary Harford who made Neil sleep with a gun under the pillow. A paranoid mother who trusted Neil to have her back. Do you think she'd trust himwithout making sure he could fight?

Neil Josten was tired of running, but that doesn't mean he couldn't defend himself. He just didn't see the need.

Part of the act that is Neil Josten is to look as innocent as possible. He's supposed to blend in. He's supposed to look small. And it worked so well that y'all belive he's a baby bread who can't throw a knife.

Qs Amon AU: Amon's body is recovered by the CCG instead of Aogiri at the end of vol 14. Kurona having been previously caught, Chigyou and Shiba try a prototype of their Quinx surgery on Amon in a desperate attempt to save his life.

Mermaid AU: There are three types of people: the merpeople, the birdmorphs and humans. Koutarou is human but has somehow been saved and then raised by the ruthless king of the sea: the merman Crown (Donato). Most birdmorphs hunt merpeople because merpeople feed on humans. So when birdmorphs (Doves) capture Donato and "save" Koutarou by taking him in, there starts his vengeance. This AU also features Aogiri trying to take down the Doves.

Burnt Cookies: Human AU, about the friendship of Harima Touko, Gori Misato and Amon Koutarou who were once childhood friends. The consequences of Harima's death.

Fairies Don't Lie: changeling inspired: a human child taken by fairies and replaced by a fairies in his human family is raised among fairies, not understanding why he's so different. Heir to the Crown: Pirate Captain Donato, specialized in human trafficking, once found a baby among the flames of a burning ship. Thinking that he could sell it when it becomes older, he keeps it. He charges Kanae, a prisoner, to take care of the kid. Later he captures another ship and finds Miza among the prisoners. Finding out she has experience in child raising, he keeps her and charges her to raise the baby. (the baby is, you guessed it, Koutarou)

CONTINUATION OF HARRY POTTER IF LILY AND JAMES DIDNT DIE

Pt 2

This is my favourite movie in the franchise so buckle up, this has more words than some of my uni essays

Goblet of fire! Harry is having repeated nightmares About Voldemort and Lily and James don't know what to do so to try and cheer him up they agree to go to the world cup quidditch match after Ron sends Harry an excited letter about it.

When they get there Harry and Draco spot each other and share a look. they both manage to sneak off for a quick hug and a talk and Harry is incredibly worried when he sees a bruise on Draco’s forehead. Draco doesn't want to talk about it but Harry is worried af so Draco agrees to try and sneak off again after the match so Harry can introduce him to his parents and they can talk about it. Draco reluctantly agrees.

The match goes great, Ron is swooning over Krum and being a closeted bi disaster.

after the match, Draco shows up as agreed and Harry takes him to meet his parents. James is a lil sus of him because “that's Lucius Malfoy's spawn” but once he talks and sees the nervous stuttering disaster who looks like he's ready to up and run off like a scared animal any moment he concludes that he would kill for him.

Draco admits he feels unsafe at home and his parents are trying to talk him into doing stuff he doesn't want to do. James straight-up asks if it's relating to the dark lord and Draco looks surprised but admits that “some of it” is.

kinda unrelated but James and Lily later agree that from the way their son was looking at him and all the things he's doing for him Harry probably has a crush on Draco.

Cue death eater attack.

Panic, James and Lily are in protective parent mode, they group up with the Weasleys who are too busy to be confused at Draco’s presence. they all go off running.

Harry and Draco get split from the others because they were clinging to each other's hands and in the panic, most of the others don't notice until it’s too late. They are both basically as scared as each other at the attack but for different reasons. Harry falls and gets kick knocked out and Draco has to drag him to a hidden area to hide until he comes to.

they manage to evade detection until Harry comes to just in time to see the Dark mark go into the sky. Draco holds him tighter as he sees it not realising he's awake until moments later. when the figure comes closer they both scramble up to run but the figure leaves and Hermione and Ron find them before the ministry attempts to stupify them and Ron and Harry’s parents yell at them furiously to not hurt their kids.

Crouch tries to accuse them of setting off the dark mark but that just makes Lily more furious, yelling at him that they're kids and “do you really think my son, the one who was almost killed by Voldemort as a child, would call the dark lord?!” Draco plucks up enough courage to tell them harry was out for most of it and They both saw a man shoot the mark into the sky. They aren't fully believed of course.

Then Lucius shows up in a flurry and grabs Draco, Chastising him for running off and “where was he?! there was an attack and he was in the middle of it?!” James steps up and informs Lucius that his son had saved his and he was very grateful and Lucius looks at all the eyes on him and claims he raised him well before muttering “not well enough” as he drags Draco off.

Draco and Harry share one more look before Draco is forced away.

At school, Mad eye Moody is introduced. Harry has heard of Moody before from his dad and something is very right AND wrong about him. Goblet of fire tournament introduced, other schools introduced, bla bla bla, Ron bi panic.

When Draco tries to talk to Harry Draco avoids him and Harry knows somethings wrong but since Draco is avoiding everyone but a few other Slytherins he struggles with what to do about it and his persistence to talk just causes a few arguments.

They watch Fred and George make arses of themselves and Harry gives an up and down of Cedric when he puts his name in cus that's one tall glass of water.

Champions get picked and Cedric being picked gives harry kinda crush feels but then Harry’s name comes out and confusion ensues. they accuse harry of putting his name in but are unable to pull harry out for some stupid reason.

When Draco sees Harry after that there's a sort of guilty look in his eyes but he still avoids him so harry cant ask

Harry gets more of a crush on Cedric every time they talk but knows that probably won't fly especially with the whole “sneaky Slytherin potter got his mane in the goblet of fire he's an asshole” shit going around school.

When he writes to his parents about it Lily sends letters to Dumbledore trying all she can to get Harry pulled out “he's a kid he may die!” but the headmaster replies with “there's nothing I can do” every time.In comparison James’ letter to harry basically is “knock em dead slugger :D”

Draco has picked Bullying back up to vent his obvious internal struggle which gets him turned into a ferret by Moody. Even though they’re in some kind of argument Harry jumps in to grab him and keep him from harm while Mcgonagal yells at Moody. Harry thinks to himself that Draco makes a very cute ferret.

when Draco is turned back harry is still holding him (bridal style of course) and Draco shoves him off which gets him dropped and they have an argument. Draco claims that he “doesn't need his help and he and his father don't think he’d last in this tournament” which makes Harry think Draco may have been lying to him since he’s siding with his father prompting an “I don't care what your father thinks and much less you!” and storm off

Ron is also mad because he belives Ron went behind his back to put his name in the goblet of fire (and that he now gets to compete with Krum) and calls him a Slytherin (derogatory) and that he should never have trusted him and known that Harry was a sneak from the moment he was put in his house

Harry really feels like everyone is against him but that just makes him want to prove everyone wrong.

Harry and Ron have their little back and forth with Hermione but actually ends up yelling at Ron that he was being stupid refusing to talk to him and even though he did well he never wanted this. He doesn't think he's special and Ron was supposed to be his best friend and understand when he's telling the truth.

Ron can't come up with a good comeback and stutters before he storms off.

With some advice from Moody and a heads up from Hagrid, Harry summons the firebolt his Dad bought him for Christmas that year and has a fly off against the dragon.

He wins and the crowd goes wild, even Draco runs up with the Crowd with so much relief on his face and looks like he wants to hug him yet remembers himself and slips away.

Harry will remember that.

Hermione is Happy and even Ron looks more upbeat and proud of his friend.

Celebration at Slytherin Common room, many Slytherins are happy at winning something, some are excited at the idea harry may prove they’re not all bad, Despite Rita Skeeta’s reporting.

Ron and Harry end meeting up outside of the dorm rooms and apologising and making up. They try to open the egg together which goes badly and they get caught sneaking about at night. Harry is happy they're mostly all friends again especially since he'd been talking Nevil’s ears off about all his problems since he was the only one who would hang out with him.

Ron and Hermione tell Harry how Krum seemed to be running into Hermione and Ron allot and kinda showing off, Ron has been hanging around with her allot more (which is unconfirmed whether it is a Coincidence or whether Ron started to hang out with Hermione more because Krum was “bumping into” them allot.) and Hermione ended up inviting Krum to hang out with them a bit. This was mainly to send Ron into bi panics more, deffinately not because she also may kinda like him, and Ron eventually admits to Harry and Hermione that he “may possibly” be a little bit Bi. Harry pats him on the back and tells him “at least you're not in the tournament and have a crush on one of your competitors.” “you have a crush on Krum too?!” “No! But I, y’know, kinda like Cedric. He’s nice!” cue teasing.

Harry gets letters from his parents congratulating him but warning him to be careful. James is more pumped at his victory than Lily and wishes he could be there to see it but He had apparently been “threatened with being turned into a spoon.“ if he tried to sneak in to watch.

Cedric later gives Harry some advice on the egg and Harry is so swept up in cute boy that he almost forgets the advice but he does find out what the next quest is.

Nevil gives Harry the Gillyweed for the test after being given the book as a very apt apology for a hufflepuff for scaring him.

Harry is pushed in and swims down and finds that the ones under the water are Fleur’s little sister, Cho Chang, Ron and Draco?

Harry is confused and tries to get both Ron and Draco but the Mermaids threaten him. Krum shows up and signals he's There for Ron. And Cedric goes for Cho but Harry knows Fleur went down and they're running out of time so he gets Draco free and does the good thing to free Fleur’s sister. he carry-swims them up while fighting off mermaids just in time.

Draco clings to him in a panic when he comes to when they surface and Harry doesn't let him push him away this time.

Hoorah Harry gets extra points for saving two people.

Ron is surprised Krum rescued him and ask and Krum be like "I actually like both of you and I was freaking out because I didn't know which of you would be under the water".

Ron bi panic stutters because his Boy Crush likes him and his cute best friend.

While they're all drying off Draco tells Harry that he knows harry still cares for him because of that and tells him he shouldn't and it clicks for Harry Draco may just be trying to push him away. He tells him even if Draco punched him in the face Harry would stop caring about him. Draco is frustrated by this and points his wand at him but ends up storming off, clearly conflicted.

Stuff in dumbledors office happens yada yada, Harry saw his parents at the trial he sees Barty Crouch at. already knew snape was a death eater turned spy.

I’ve decided the dance is here as a “last hurrah before the final task” because it makes sense.

Krum approaches Ron and Hermione and is like “I wanna ask both of you to the ball but I am apparently only allowed one date cus I have to do the Ceremonial dance with a partner” and they're both flattered and have like a little “you do it” “no you do it” but eventually conclude Hermione can do the dance with Krum (she is the prettier one) and then the three of them can hang out as secret dates later because Ron is publicly in the closet.

However, the secret bit is hard to keep because when people tease Ron for “not having a date” Krum keeps putting his arm around him and glaring at people to scare them off.

Harry isn't as interested in not having a date as he is about Draco not having one. Draco is annoyed Harry won't leave him alone and keeps worrying about him and they're having a little “argument” in the common room about it when Snape comes up all “Potter. you and Malfoy are making a disturbance. If you cannot solve your...relationship issues I will make him your date to the ball since you do not have one yet.” “Wh-but sir! Draco does not have one either!” “Making him the perfect candidate. You have until the end of the day to prevent this.”

Neither of them finds anyone who wants to go or is free in time.

Harry does ask the twins but they say to his face “why would you ask us? you’re gay” which is how Harry finds out there's a rumour that he's gay because he's obviously got some kind of crush on Cedric

Harry has no idea what sexuality is but he at least knows he's not straight.

This does not change their minds and when he sees Draco he can tell by the looks of him he's failed too. Harry decides to just bite the bullet and sits next to Draco. “look...I know you’re trying to push me away. I don't know why I don't know if you hate me or what but...I don’t hate you. I care about you. And I don’t mind going to the dance with you and we’re probably going to have to so I might as well ask. Would you go to the Dance with me?” “...my father better not hear about this.”

Draco and Harry end up going together.

Draco insists he's not going to get his feet stepped on so teaches Harry how to dance in their dorm room which serves for good bonding. they don't talk about why Draco has been avoiding him but when Harry messes up Draco’s chastising is fond and when Harry falls and knocks books on his head they laugh. they're finally back to teasing each other like friends and Harry can dance just well enough Draco is fine to dance with him.

Ron is dejected by what he's been sent to wear and Hermione doesn't want him to die from embarrassment or bail on their date so she helps him transfigure his clothes into something better looking and smelling.

Hermione is already radiant and Ron has a little heart attack because his best friend is cute?? and he and his best friend are both dates to the cute boy at the dance?? why are both of them so attractive?? panic??

The main dance goes pretty well. Harry only stands on Draco’s foot once.

At the main party bit they all dance and have fun mostly. Krum sneaks off with Hermione for a bit and she returns a little flustered and daze, tags Ron in and he sneaks off.

He and Krum are caught making out behind a curtain by Semus and Dean later.

Harry and Draco get teases because Hogwarts is basically a British Private school and “eww gaaay” but anyone who is outright prejudiced is grabbed by McGonalal and forced to leave so people catch on real quick that it's not something to make fun of.

Draco and Harry are having fun but after Harry leaves him at a table for a minute to go get some drinks he returns to see Draco looking spaced out. He asks what's wrong and Draco tries to deflect but eventually admits he missed having fun with him and he missed him in general. Harry asks why he was avoiding him in the first place and Draco shakes his head and gets up to leave but Harry grabs his hand and begs him to talk to him. Draco looks at him with the same look that he'd given him at the quidditch games and Harry knows immediately. They leave the party to talk.

Draco admits that his father has been awful to him and has threatened him to stay away from him. he tells Harry that he was being groomed into becoming a death eater because they believed the dark lord was returning. Harry is horrified that the man to kill his family may be returning and Draco was being hurt and forced into things because of it. Draco is a mess because part of him still loves his family but he doesn't wanna stay there. Harry isn't sure what to do. He hugs Draco as he cries and tells him if he needs out Lily, James and he would tear down Malfoy manor to get him to a safe place. Draco is thankful but doesn't know if that would work. Harry says they could also go to Dumbledoor with this information but Draco is terrified that nothing would be done and they’d tell his Father. Harry agrees to be quiet for now but tells him he’d come to help him alone if he needed someone. Draco agrees to not push him away anymore and let Harry send a letter to his parents telling them about it.

A few days later, just before the maze trial, Draco pulls Harry aside at Breakfast with a letter in hand from his Father. The letter alludes that he won't be attending the Final trial as invited to because something is going down with the death eaters connected to the trial. Draco still doesn't want to go to Dumbledore or anyone so Harry just agrees to be careful and then gets to show Draco the letters he received from his parents saying they would literally do anything to keep Draco safe and would happily hide him even at the risk of imprisonment in Azkaban.

Draco is brought strange comfort at that.

Lily and James attend the final trial as do the rest of the champion parents. James is so stoked at how well his son had been doing in all these trials and bigs him up and gets him excited for the final one.

More responsibly Lily warns him to be careful and that she thinks something is off about Krum. Harry brushes it off because he knows and trusts Krum but when he sees him he realises he does look a little off and from the looks of Ron and Hermione they see it too.

When Harry sees Cedric with his excited dad he realises he has hardy thought about his crush on him since the Whole thing with Draco and the dance.

James sees Harry off with Moody and when James tries to talk to Moody as a friend Moody gives him a weird look and short responses. James goes back to Lily as soon as the maze closes the contestants are in, telling her somethings wrong with Moody. They discuss it as the trial goes on.

In the maze Harry concludes there's something definitely wrong with Krum after he sees him, immediately noticing he is Bewitched when he sees his eyes and what he did to Fleur.

So yeah maze happens, grab cup, portkeyed away, dark lord resurrection ceremony, Cedric fuckin murdered. Harry finds out he has some deeper connection with the dark lord after his blood is used in the ceremony. He also is vindicated, despite his fear, that he sees Draco was right when he sees Lucious as a death eater.

Voldemort messes with him by telling him about how he had almost killed his parents, that their and Sirius’s attacks drove him to try and escape upstairs, leading to his room. He tried killing him to emotionally cripple them but only got a finger on his head when Lily rushed in and with some unknown strong power nearly destroyed him. The Death eaters called Harry the boy who lived because of it. But now he was back and could kill harry however he pleased.

He releases Harry for their Duel, Cedric’s spirit emerges to aid him and with some unknown power and the help Harry fight him off and port keys his and Cedric’s body back.

do, dododo do do, dododo do do, do do do do do do- holy fuck is that kid dead?!

Harry bursts into tears and wails when he gets back to the entrance, crying about the dark lord.

Cedric’s dad manages to rush up and more crying ensues but when Lily and James try to get to Harry they re held back and only don't keep pushing because Moody pulls Harry away. They frantically try to follow, stopped by Dumbledoor and are delayed while they swap notes. Draco manages to slip out of the crowd and to them too, worried for Harry.

Moody reveals himself to be evil not moody and goes to kill Harry when Dumbledore, Snape, McGonagall, Lily and James bust him and push him back, followed closely by Draco who rushes towards Harry.

Snape forces Not Moody to drink the truth Serum and make him tell them where real Moody is. James is incredibly relieved to see him.

They see not moody change into Barty crouch jr and try to attack the boys when they lean down to look. Lily makes them stand behind her and basically smacks Dumbledor away when he tries to grab Harry for his arm, gently taking it herself to show. Draco is terrified at the dark mark and audibly gasps, whispering “that's the same as...” cutting himself off when Jr looks and smirks at him. Croutch Jr tells them the dark lord has returned. Harry apologises but Lily hugs him with one hand and tells him it's okay and not his fault.

Draco, instead of being scared, looks defiant and to Harry. He asks “was he there?” and when he gets a nod tells them that his father has that mark and is a death eater and he has letters proving it. Jr’s face twists and he snaps at Draco “YOU WILL BE PUNISHED FOR YOUR INSOLENCE BOY!!” but is held back by Snape and Dumbledore ushers Lily and the boys out, telling McGonagal to contact Azkaban while Snape and James stay behind to guard Jr and get real moody free.

Draco hands over all the evidence that his father is a death eater to Dumbledore and Harry gives a testimony of all he saw and all this is later taken to court. We will touch back on this in a minute.

Krum is freed from Barty crouch Jr’s Bewitchment and wakes up to a worried Hermione and Ron over him. he makes a stupid joke about dying going to heaven “because he’s Surrounded by angels” which gets him a slap from Hermione, Ron exclaiming “Mione!” a second before she kisses him. Krum has a stupid smile on when she moves away. “that was the best slap I ever got. do I get another?” he looks to Ron who mumbles “I’ll skip the slap” before he kisses him too.

You may have noticed but I stan poly ships arite? I couldn't miss this opportunity especially since I think Hermione could have had a pretty good relationship with big beefy bear Krum and when Ron’s Bi panic came in I couldn’t resist.

So Ron and Hermione both agree to write to Krum when he asks on the day he departs and he pulls Ron aside to tell him that If Ron knows Krum can like two people at once he should know he and others can too, looking to Hermione. Ron is a flustered mess but happily accepts a parting kiss.

They do write to him and get pretty good at long distance.

Lucius is tried and held under heavy suspicion of being a death eater as the courts refuse to acknowledge the Dark Lord’s return. the court battle takes a good majority of the Summer that Draco spends in Malfoy Manor with just his mother until it is ruled that Lucius is a death eater however since they cannot confirm that the dark lord HAS returned or which death eater acts he committed they would put him on house arrest. they do this even with Draco’s accusations of what he's done to him.

However, almost to try and make up for that somehow, they do allow Draco to decide if he wants to stay at home or go somewhere else. He soon decides that he’d feel much safer elsewhere so asks to be looked after by the Potter’s. the courts just about agree.

Woo! Draco saved! They stay at the Potter household for a bit until they conclude it’s not safe and moved to Sirius and Remus’s house which is well hidden.

Due to concerns about the dark lord, the rest of the Order of the Pheonix slowly do too including Ron, his family, and Hermione.

 it’s big mental break down hours boys and I’m taking it out on Bakugou whoops. 

Bakugou x Reader

Word Count: 2,100(about)

Warnings: angst, gore, death, abuse, kidnapping, torture, this goes from 0 to 100 real quick,

Summary: Bakugou refused to belive in your supposed death, even though it’s been two months without any sign of you, even when they find the body. he knows you are alive, you have to be. he doesn’t know what he’ll do with himself if you aren’t. 

Bakugou didn't trust people easily, but it had taken him longer than normal to come around to you. You were always so damn happy go lucky putting on a wide smile and offering to use your quirk on whoever even remotely needed it. Witch bakugou didn't. You had a healing quirk, you would take the injury before redirecting it into someone or something else. He felt weak when he needed your help, and he felt manipulated when you used his weakness as your strength. He almost always brushed off your offer, he wouldn't let you so much as help him off the ground. He didn't need you.

But he had started trusting you eventually. He would let you ease the pain in his muscles, or take away the ringing in his ears if, and only if, no one else was around, and you sent the damage into the wall or something. He would never let you use your quirk on him in battle- If he was going hurt someone he was going to do it directly. 

You were always there when he needed you, your healing hands always ready to take some of the weight off his shoulders. He was more than ecstatic when you had gone to Best Jeanest for your internship with him, not that he showed it in any way. 

Bakugou wasn't sure when exactly he fell in love with you, but he knew that he loved you. He loved your voice, and your laugh, he loved your eyes and your hair. He loved your kindness and your sense of humor. And he would be damned if he let anyone get to you before him. He asked you out on the first day of school in your third year. You rejected him. You liked Bakugou too but you weren't dating anyone until after you had made a name for yourself as a hero.

So he waited, watched as you climbed the ranks from a nobody, to in the top twenty to number seven where you staid. Then he asked you out again and this time you accepted. 

Often, he found himself wondering what would come next, you had been his girlfriend for almost five years now had been living with him for three, marriage couldn't be far away, right? His mother hinted at it constantly while the fans speculated that you were already married but hid it from the public. He liked the thought of “Mrs. Bakugou (y/n)”. he had to snap himself out of daydreams of tall buttercream cakes and white dresses more often than he cared to admit. 

So he bought a ring. It was sleek and glamours perfect for you. Bakugou had picked up a thing or two from his parents after all. He was planning to propose that night, the little velvet box burning a hole in his jacket pocket. But you weren't there to be proposed to. His home had been broken into, ransacked and vandalized. The villains had only taken one thing of value: you.

He couldn't sleep, he didn't eat. His life was consumed with trying to find you and the bastards who had taken you so he could cave in their skulls. Every clue he took note of, he followed every lead and looked everywhere for you. On nights where exhaustion overtook him, he slept fitfully, plagued by nightmares. The ring staid on his nightstands waiting for a day that might never come. He didn't want to think about it. If the chances of finding you alive were slim to none after two days. Then what were the odds after a month?

He didn’t lose hope, even after they found your body. well, they found a body, who was your exact hight weight and what little shreds of fabric had been left on the mangled burned corpse matched fibers from your hero suit. Bakugou didn’t believe for a second it was actually you. he couldn’t wrap his mind around that possibility. the body had been burned beyond recognition, there was a chance it wasn’t you, and the fibers on the body matched your hero suit, but you hadn’t been wearing your suit when you were taken his friends moved on, urged him to do the same. but he couldn’t not yet.

You didn't understand why they had taken you, at first. You woke up chained to a wall. Gagged and bruised. Your wrists were bound to the wall so you couldn't even heal your own wounds. As it turned out, there weren't a lot of villains with healing quirks, so they had to kidnap a pro hero just too heal the wounds they got trying to kill your friends.

It was hell. No matter how you thrashed and kicked and fought back the restraints held tight you refused to use your quirk for them. So they starved you and beat you until you were to weak and delirious to refuse them. If they were feeling particularly crewel, which they often where, they would wake you up at odd hours of the day and night. The lack of sleep made you feel like you were losing your mind. Somehow you held on to a small sliver of hope. It couldn't be long before you were rescued. But days slipped by with no one coming to your aid. Days turned to weeks. The weeks to months. It was hard to tell time, you weren't allowed near windows. You had long since given up on telling the difference from day and night, sleeping when you could.  

Your faith was really only broken when you saw a Gossip imagine left beside you.  A Rebound Already? Pro Hero Ground Zero spotted with hot new blonde two months after (Y/N) (L/N)'s tragic death. 

Of course, no one would be looking for you if they thought you were dead, your own boyfriend had moved on for Christ's sake. You were broken after that. You no longer put up a fight when your captors used you for your quirk. You didn't even bother to send the wound off somewhere. You let the pain slide down your fingertips and down your arm letting the wounded land where ever they wanted on your body. Cuts opened on your stomach, bruises and scrapes that weren't yours materialized on your skin. You could only get away with it for so long, you were too valuable to let die. What you wouldn't give to just. Die.

Bakugou hated the press coverage. How fucking dare they imply that he could ever move on. He refused to lose hope. He would find you and he would find you alive and then everything could go back to normal. But every lead was nothing but a dead-end, and he was running out of straws to grasp at. 

Then a miracle happened, he got kidnapped. Sure he didn't think it was a good thing when he woke up tied to a chair, a quirk nullification collar latched tightly around his neck. Tape had been stuck over his mouth so he couldn't even scream. That sure as hell didn't stop him from trying though. Slowly.  A slender girl with choppy black hair who couldn't have been more than 19 came before him.

“you're Ground Zero, Bakugou Katsuki right?” she asked timidly. He thrashed wildly in his retrains, but they held. “shake your head yes or no” the girl tried but he continued to ignore her.

“I know where (y/n) (l/n) is and if you want to see her again you'll stop,” she boomed, it was surprising hearing such a loud noise from such a small frail looking thing. He froze instantly. “good, now Are you Bakugou Katsuki or did I kidnap the wrong blonde-haired son of a bitch?” she asked. He nodded. “good” “and you want to find (L/n)?” he nodded again. “she was kidnapped by the League of Villians about two mounts ago” she said nervously. Bakugou founded, he had already figured as much, it was more a question of why. They hadn't asked for ransom, they didn't kill you as some sort of message, and as of yet, they hadn't turned you to their side.

“they've been using her quirk, it's sick I can't stand it anymore,” the girl muttered. “do you still want to save her?” She asked picking at her lips nervously. he glared at her and nodded as angrily as he could. Of course, he wanted to find you.

“good,” she said nodding. Her eyes kept flicking back and forth as if she was expecting something to come crashing in on them. “It goes without saying that I shouldn't be doing this. But I- (Y/n) she was-Fuck it doesn't matter. I'm going to give you a tracking device, you come and find her, get her out okay.” she pulled out a small box from her pocket and placed it on the ground in front of him.

“bring back up or don't I don't care. And don't think this means I'm on your side or anything. I'll try to kill you when you show up and I expect you to do the same.” she added glaring. Bakugou wasn't sure what else to do, so he nodded. “okay good luck,” she said then turned to leave. Bakugou shouted and rocked in his chair. Her plan was all fine and good, assuming she wasn't lying and wasn't tricking him but how the fuck was he supposed to get out? “oh right, the collar will turn off after, ten minutes? I assume you can get out from there, see you soon then.” and with that, she was gone, literally disappearing in a puff of white smoke. Ten minutes later bakugou blew up the cuffs around his wrists and the chair beneath him.

It was probably a trap. It was almost certainly a trap, fuck somewhere deep inside he knew you wouldn’t be there but it was all he had and he was desperate. what was he supposed to do if you really were dead? he had given his heart and soul to you, was he just supposed to forget about all that and try again with someone new?  He picked up the tracking device with shaky hands. There was a little red dot on a map labeled with your entails and a little blue dot with his entails. You were close, so close. He took a deep breath. He had to be smart about this call for help. there had to be someone at the agency must be able to figure out if it was real or not. He shouldn't go. He should get out of here.

He started running towards you.

It was a normal day. You hated the thought of a routine with these people. But what else were you supposed to do besides accept this reality? The villains laughed loudly and drank without a care in the world. You closed your eyes and rested your head against the wall. You would try and fail to sleep, then enviably someone would shatter glass and they would need your help.  At least you were alone in your cell. 

Then came the deafening blast. Then silence, or maybe there was noise, you couldn't really tell over the ringing in your ears. It didn't even cross your mind that it could have been bakugou. You looked around panicked, did you dare hope for a chance at escape? 

The door to your room was knocked off its hinges into the opposite wall. You didn't believe your eyes as you watched bakugou stormed into the room. It couldn't be real it had to be a dream or a hallucination. It couldn't be his hands the ripped your chains out of the wall.

He brushed the hair gently out of your face as his crimson eyes scanned over your damaged body. “you look like shit babe,” he whispered to you in his grave voice. It had been so long since you had heard that voice. Tears sprung to your eyes as you clung to him. You barred your face in his neck taking him in with all your senses. If you could see his face you would see him crying too. He lifted you easily, you had lost a terrifying amount of weight since he had last seen you. “Don't cry on me you big baby It's okay,” he said in what might have been a comforting tone.

No one tried to stop him as he carried you out of that damned bar. He held you close to his chest listening to your sob into his shoulder. Even though you were crying and hurt he was ecstatic. Because you were alive and it was his turn to heal you.

“We have the chips, nee-san” A stoic looking teenager said as he entered the place carring a plastic bag. A smaller greenette behind him carring three bags and two other teenagers with presents, too. “And Iida and Uraraka are here”

“Welcome!” Fuyumi said, taking the bags from his brother and the green kid.

This may have been an ordinary thing for anybody. But not for this family.

Before their fathers arrest, life for the Todoroki family was a nightmare. They had no normalcy. Birthdays were never celebrated, Shouto wasn’t allowed to interact with his sibblings and their mother had snapped and had to be interned to a hospital for the sake of her menyal health. And Touya…

Well, they didn’t like to think about it.

But now, they were a family, that could have friends over and celebrate their birthdays together and however they saw fit, without worring over what would happen to their mother or baby brother if Enji found out.

When their father was finally out of the picture, Fuyumi, being the older sibbling (not eldest, she wasn’t the eldest) inherited all of Enji´s money and possesions. From the state to his boxing trophies. She sold the state and bought a nice apartment near her job, Natsuo’s collegue and Shouto High school. She basically lived alone since Natsuo had a roomate on campus, Shouto had the dorms in UA and their mother wasn’t ready to live utside the hospital.

But, now that Enji was gone, Natsuo came by more often and their mother had recoverred enought to go outside without trembling. Although, to Fuyumi, the best part was that Shouto came every Friday night and stayed until Monday morning when he had to go to school.

Every weekend felt like a dream. Because they were all together. Well… almost.

Little by little the guest started to arrive. There weren’t many people over, Shouto’s class, two other friends and Midoriya’s mom and stepdad. They couldn’t not invite them.

It was thanks to them that they were able to be were they are now. Who would have thought that the adopted son of their old man’s rival, would have been the start of their salvation?

Before the dorm sistem was applied at UA, the green kid, Izuku Midoriya did everything he could to help Shouto when he learned about their father. He would help him feel included, explain everything he didn’t understand, he even kept him in his house for a month during break. That was when Mrs Inko and Mr Yagi learned about their situacion. And when Mrs Midoriya helped Fuyumi get over her fear of her dad to report him.

The process was rather quick. Even if their father was a famous and respected boxing champion, there was too much evidence against him. He was locked down in November.

The party was going expectacularly. They weren’t allowed to make too much noise because of their mom, but Shouto’s classmates were heaven sent. They didn’t make a mess and even included their mother in activities. Even the explosive blonde that, according to Shouto, knows more cuss words than mentally possible, was calmingly explaining to their mom how to beat his classmates in Mario Kart.

“Fuyumi,” Mrs Inko called her from the living room. “the front desk called, they said somebody is at the entrance and that they need to speak with you.”

“Oh, it’s probably another guest, could you watch over the food?”

“Yes, dear”

She took her keys and headed to the elevator. When she reached the front desk, she noticed a… tired looking guy wearing a black hooding and pants playing with his phone and sitting on the floor. He didn’t look up from the screen until she asked him if he was the one that asked for her.

The man (could she called him that? the guy was so skinny that if he wasn’t malnurished, he was probably a really tall teenager) stood up and put his hands in his hoody’s pocket. “My name is Shigaraki Tomura, I think I know your brother?”

“Do you?” She didn’t remember him. If he was in Shouto’s class, she would have seen him at least once.

“Is this him?” The stranger took his wallet off his back pocket and showed her a picture.

It was her brother. But not Shouto or Natsuo.

It was spikey, messed up hair that he refused to brush. Hard edges that had been bruised more times than she could count. Turquoise eyes that burned with rage that increased after every training section with dad.

There were things that could have throw her off. Like the piercings, the black hair, the arms completly covered in ink.

But that was him.

He was looking at the camera confused with a steaming mug in his hand.

That was Touya. Her big brother. The eldest sibbling. Their missing piece.

Suddenly, she couldn’t talk. She had so many question but none of them, not even one wanted to come out. Her eyes were getting watery, but she could barelly notice with her feelings and doubts swarming in her head.

She took a deep breath to try to calm herself. She couldn’t scare off the only lead in 10 years of Touya off.

“How did you get that picture?” She finally asked, her voice shakey and almost breaking.

The guy, Shigaraki, closed his wallet and sighted. “We live together. He goes by Dabi now though. I thought you might want to see him again” He took out a card of his wallet and took a pen from the receptionist. He scribbled something down and offered it to her. “My number is in it. If I don’t answer, call the bar and ask for Kurogiri. He will give me any message you leave.”

She took the card carefully without looking at it. As if she did, she would wake up and this would be a dream.

“I should warn you though” He continued “He hasn´t been in the best… company for a while. Hope I hear from you”. With that, Shimura turned and left, leaving Fuyumi alone in the lobby.

Once the party finished and all of Shouto´s friend left, Fuyumi drove their mother to the hospital. She thought about telling her about the news, but decided not to. The last time they told her mother news about him, was when he ran away. She didn’t react well and they had to sedate her so she wouldn’t hurt herself.

Besides, the only thing she knew was that this random guy Sigaraki, thought that maybe his roommate was their long lost brother. Giving her mother the news that his first son that is presummed dead might be alive to then tell her that it wasn’t him or a ruse seemed cruel. And her mother was making an excellent progress, today was an milestone for her. She spent almost five hour with more that 20 people with loud noises without having an relapse. She even smiled and made a new friend with Mrs Inko.

When she arrived back home, Natsuo and Shouto were cleaning up. They were both talking animatedly about all the gifts Shouto had received. They looked so happy.

But Natsuo had already lost all hope of finding Touya, considered him the dead 4 years ago, and Shouto bearly knew him. “Nee-san?” Shouto called her, staring at her worried, “Is everything alright?”

“Fuyu, what’s wrong?” Natsuo asked as he came near her.

Fuyumi sighted and told them about what happened. Shouto, with his never-changing poker face, didn’t have much of reaction, but Natsuo…. He couldn’t belive it, wouldn´t belive it.

“Fuyumi, are you stupid?” Natsuo asked angry “You beleave this…. random guy that shows up out of nowhere saying that our dead brother has been alive ALL THIS TIME, just because he showed you a picture of somebody that looks like him that could of been edited? “You think I don´t know thats a posibility!?” She answered, insulted by her brother´s words. “I’m not saying that I’m going to do whatever he wants just because he might know something about Touya. But this is the only lead we had in 10 years. What if this is him? What if he wants to come back to us?”

“Then he would have come years ago! I know you miss him, I do too! But he is GONE, OKAY!? He isn’t coming back!” Natsuo wiped his leaking eyes and took some plates to the kitchen.

As she listened the water running of the sink, she sighted and sat down on the couch.  Shouto sat next to her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. Fuyumi returned the gesture by hugging him.

“What was the guys name?” Shouto asked quietly as to not break the moment.

Fuyumi took a deep breath and let go off him to reach for the card with the two numbers. “Shigaraki Tomura” She told him handing him the card. Shouto took it and stared at it quietly.

Dinner was… quiet. The fight still fresh made it eternal and once they finished their soba, all three sibblings were happy to leave the table. Shouto went to his room and Natsuo to the other bedroom while Fuyumi cleaned. A couple of minutes later, Natsuo came out with his bags packed.

“Natsuo, it’s late. You shouldn’t go out at this hour.” Fuyumi told him, already expecting this reaction to their argument.

And for the profile picture there was a photograph of a man in front of a shop with a blue neon sign that read ‘Inferno’

That man was Touya. Just like it looked in the picture Shigaraki showed Fuyumi. Black hair, tattoos, piercings, blue eyes like dad. The only difference was that here he was using different clothes and he was smirking.

They stayed in silence for a while. Just, taking everything in. Their feelings a mess. One hopeful that their family would be complete again, the other in denial to not get hurt again and the last excited that he could meet the mistery that was Touya.

But Dabi’s had to be special. He knew he had to do something extraordinary for him. He couldn’t just give him something. Not after everything that happened and everything he did for him.

So if Dabi wanted to be a coward and not take a shot with his family that (judging by the reaction he got) wanted him in his life, then fine. He would take the shot for him. He would take the blame for whatever happened. Dabi deserved it.

He went to the back of the shop and climbed up the fire escape to enter his place. The shop was closed and he was too spent to open it and lock it again. Hearing movement in the kitchen, he went there and found the reason for his exhaustion cooking.
