Something about Bakugo being nosy just sits so right with me. It’s canon that he’s often listening in on conversations (even if participants of said conversations are unaware of his presence) so I imagine when he likes you he tends to hover around you just a little bit more.

You could be talking to Ashido and Kaminari in the common room and Bakugo will be there. Maybe not necessarily near you, not even looking at you. He’s off on the opposite side of the room, and he’s so uncharacteristically quiet that you could forget he was there in the first place.

You mention offendedly how you miss your favorite drink and snack from that one cafe near the heart of Musutafu, being too busy with your work study to find the time to visit.

A few days later, you hear a knock on your door. You’re met with a plastic bag with the very same food and drink combination you had just told your friends about the other day. Your eyes trail the arm and hand holding it and see Bakugo with a pinched look on his face.

“‘s for you,” he grumbles, head turned to the side as his signature scowl deepens. If you looked any closer, you’d clearly be able to see the blush accentuating his cheeks and ears. 

“Thank you, Bakugo,” you take the bag with a smile, and Katsuki has to keep from shuddering when your fingertips accidentally brush his. “Why don’t you come in so we can share?”

Bakugo is nosy, but if it means being able to share stolen moments (and bites of food) with you, then it’s totally worth it.

Nico and Percy's dynamic through the series is eternally funny to me, because it's just. like.

Percy's having a constant mental struggle between his fatal flaw of loyalty with a promise he made to Bianca to protect Nico, versus his Big 3 kid desire to maim other Big 3 kids / Poseidon descendant urge to totally maim Nico specifically. He hates Nico so so much. He thinks Nico's annoying and weird at best, and creepy/sketchy when he's older. The only positive thoughts Percy has towards Nico are "He's Bianca's brother and Bianca was my friend and I owe her/He's Hazel's brother and Hazel is my friend and would kill me if I was mean to him," "He's a powerful asset and useful ally (if questionable)," and "He's kinda pathetic and I feel maybe a little bad about it." Percy has multiple occasions throughout the series where he strongly considers - and on one occasionally actually goes through with - throttling Nico.

Meanwhile, Nico is following around Percy like a lost puppy. He explicitly can never bring himself to even dislike anything about Percy no matter how hard he tries. He has a whole bit in BoO where he's mentally going "UGH he's so stupid BUT IT'S ENDEARING HOW DARE HE." He's totally smitten. He's making deals with his dad for Percy. He's making convoluted plans to help Percy stand a chance against Kronos. During the entirety of BoTL it's like he's playing tsundere - "I'm helping NOT PERCY SPECIFICALLY with this quest! Me helping Percy would be SILLY because I DEFINITELY HATE HIM." Then he proceeds to show up to Percy's birthday party to basically ask him on a weird date and spend the entire next book scrambling around trying to help him or protect him or impress him. And Percy could not give less of a shit.

Just. That dynamic is so funny to me. Percy is the founder of the Nico Protection Club in that he's the one they're all protecting Nico from and meanwhile Nico is throwing himself at Percy to the point where the literal god of gay love calls him out on it.

Thanks to @star-ar512 , I now have some WONDERFUL artwork hand-drawn by them of my OC, Storch Zwingli! A ripe 11 years old, Oberst (Colonel) Zwingli’s career began as a Protektor Controller in Rotfront, where she cut her teeth quelling a student riot that spread across the entire sector. Her methods in doing so were too heavy-handed for the local Blockwart to handwave away, so AEON axed her career — and the Ministry of Defense commissioned her as an officer in Protektor Special Operations, where she would spend the remainder of her career. She has served as as a military attaché for Eusan Nation diplomatic offices as well as the commander of a training battalion at the Protektor Special Operations Recruit Depot located on Heimat. She earned the equivalent of a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from the Heimat War College.

Zwingli’s optical nerves sustained permanent damage during a riot control deployment gone awry. She now wears glasses to compensate, something she is secretly self-conscious about. Zwingli suffers from motion sickness and migraines, and appreciates good sushi and a bouquet of well arranged flowers. Her first lover was another Storch named Ambrose who she met in Rotfront; the two gradually separated from each other due to time and distance constraints, although Zwingli still misses and loves Ambrose dearly deep inside. Zwingli confesses a deep-seated hatred for Starlings, although there’s one STAR unit in particular that she can’t stop thinking about…

Have to remind myself that Astrid thinks he’s unlovable/ his existence is a curse

When Jamil tries to do something for Astrid would be reluctant but would let Jamil do whatever he’s doing.

Astrid is still coming to terms that people actually want to take care of them and be their friend despite the curse. (He was trying to make friends coming to NRC but had his expectations very low as to not have his heart broken again)

Astrid does develop romantic feelings for Jamil but won’t recognize it as romantic. He’ll just know that he feels differently towards Jamil than the others. It’s obvious that Astrid acts differently with Jamil like people would be shocked Astrid can smile and Jamil is sitting there like ????

Astrid will tell Jamil more in depth about the his curse and what he went through at the end of 3rd year. Jamil does know Astrid has some trauma based on things they’ll say like this video and reacts to things like when Astrid started sleeping over Astrid would be focused on the door and windows

They don’t get together until they’re 23-24

Jamil would say “I love you” and Astrid would burst into tears asking him to say it again

Was listening to From the Start and thought Astrid would be the Laufey version and Jamil the Good Kid version like different perspective / Vibes of the relationship 🏃‍♀️

Just me, absolutely insane about how normal Katsuki is with his friends these days. Teasing Shoto about his older brother definitely liking the really really hot udon, both because he’s a little troll and knows that’s the opposite of what Shoto likes, and because teasing could lighten the mood and maybe help Shoto feel better?? No yelling?? Just hanging out with the boys!!!
