With Android's opening, these 4 apps will make you cooler to "listen to songs"
Earlier, the Internet was not so developed, and streaming media was less of a mainstay of entertainment, with the vast majority of people only able to transcribe or download music files from CDs to listen to music. At that time, my love of music didn't all come from the song itself, but some cool things - visualizations, skin changes, lyrics, and so on.
After the rapid popularity of streaming media, listening to the song seems to be just "by the way", I did not go to stow "let listening to the song cool" thing. It wasn't until one day that I found out that my phone's built-in music player took advantage of the curved-screen feature to make the side screen light up with the rhythm of the music.
The little feature disappeared after the system was updated, and I had to start looking for other ways to make listening songs on my phone becomes cool.
Muviz Edge: "Running Lights" at the Edge of the Screen
The Muviz Edge app perfectly reproduces the side-screen flash above, and even better, it offers a variety of styles for free, in addition to regular side flash, as well as a more powerful visual impact such as full-screen wrap and edge spectrum.
If you're not happy with the default style, you can also adjust the flash line a little thicker in the custom options, and drag "SPREAD" "LENGTH" to the left and right, respectively: the former is used to set the extension of the subline, the higher the number, the more dispersed the sub-line, and the lower the value, the shorter the number.
After adjustment, each subline does not overlap too much, each color can be clearly distinguished, the visual effect is excellent without confusion. When you authorize the Muviz Edge, Muviz Edge can match album covers and automatically turn them on or off for different apps, so you can avoid popping edge flashes when watching videos.
You can download the Muviz Edge for free in the Google Play Store, unlock all flash styles and all features for $1.49, or purchase custom color matching features for $0.99.
Muviz: Navigation bar can be a little cooler
The Muviz Edge is primarily used to beautify the edges of the screen, making the visuals more stereoscopic on surface phones. For non-curved phones, or if you want to make the results even more stunning, use the navigation key area at the bottom of the screen and use Muviz to display the waveforms and spectrum on the navigation bar. Muviz and Muviz Edge are part of a series that has been introduced in the minority. After several iterations, Muviz is now even cooler.
As with Muviz Edge, app-related permissions are required before use. Muviz itself has evolved into a creative community, Discovery, which includes all user-published waveform schemes that allow users to categorize and filter according to their personal preferences. Each scheme has also been labeled differently, making it easy to choose a similar scheme.
Since you're a creative community, you can certainly create your own waveform effects. Muviz Free offers up to 29 waveform styles, and unlocking Premium offers an additional 10 more featured waveforms. Each style adjusts color, gradient, transparency, and size.
In addition, Muviz has entered the concept of "layers", allowing users to overlay up to 3 layers of waveforms, such as filling with "strip" spectrum, contouring "line" waveforms, and "circular" individual beautification of the Home key, making custom items so all-encompassing and extremely free.
You can go to the Google Play Store to download Muviz for free and pay $2.49 for Muviz Pro to unlock all waveform styles and community solutions.
Live Wallpapers: More Immersive Music Visualization
If the Muviz series of apps can enhance the visual impact of your music, music live wallpapers can give you a more immersive visual experience, such as the three "Rhythm" series of music live wallpapers built into your Pixel 3 phone.
When using a normal phone, the desktop background will have a very soft dynamic effect, but as the play button is pressed, the desktop background will be like its name, with the music from time to time exciting, sometimes gently rhythmic.
Non-Pixel 3 devices can also get this range of wallpapers by installing a portable installation package, and there are many other live wallpapers available in the app. If you're also interested, go to APKMirror to search for Pixel Wallpapers 2018 for an installation package that corresponds to your phone system. In addition to the Pixel series of live wallpapers, the background of the Apple Music lyricinterface can change dynamically based on album cover color and music rhythms, but it's actually great for wallpapers - remember the stunning live wallpapers of Cosmopolitan and Skyline? Developer @Justin Fincher's new work, Diffuse, brings the Apple Music effect to the Android platform as a live wallpaper.
Diffuse requires player notifications and microphone permissions to get album art and audio information to show dynamic effects based on the cover color scheme and music rhythm.
Developers have made statements in the app about the privacy implications of microphone permissions, and Diffuse is not forced to apply for microphone permissions, as long as Diffues is allowed to get playback notification permissions, the wallpaper can still change color with the album cover, but will not change with the rhythm of the music.
According to the developer's prompt, Diffuse is only compatible with software that invokes the system's native style to play notifications, QQ music, NetEase Cloud Music and other players need to manually change to the system native playback notification style, and for App Diffuse, which only supports its own playback notification style, Will Adiffuse will not work properly. Diffuse is now available on the Google Play Store for $1.99 for Premium, and a free version for download and trial.
Audio Widget Pack: Good Music With Widgets
For most music players, whether it's a streaming player or a local music player, desktop widgets have always been a "yes" marginal product, and Spotify even took the feature out of it in an earlier update - a move that didn't happen to attract many users' displeasure and had to be added back in subsequent updates. If the desktop widgets you're using aren't great enough, you might want to take a different approach by using third-party widget gadgets to "skin player controls." Audio Widget Pack is a widget tool specifically built for music players that seamlessly connect music players with Android features. Audio Widget Pack sits with a total of 46 desktop widgets in 9 styles, each with a strong sense of design, including the "new figurine" design style that is very popular today.
In addition to the widget desktop widget, Audio Widget Pack also provides music playback statistics, and every time you open the app master, the notification bar displays today's and this week's play statistics. Interested friends can download the Audio Widget Pack in the Google Play Store, where 2 widget styles are available for free and 7 more are available for $4.99.
The developers of Audio Widget Pack have also developed a music player, Stellio Player. The basics, with online lyrics and cover retrieval, and the payment of Stellio Player Premium to unlock many of the great player themes remind me of the joy of tossing the player's skin on a computer. Interested friends can also go to the Google Play Store to download the experience.

The People want a masterpost of fics you enjoyed!!
Okay, I’m trying this again, because yesterday my computer shut down just as I was about to post this and I needed some time to recover.
Most of the fics I enjoy fall into one of four categories: it made me laugh a lot, it made me feel empty inside, it made me think (it might be the writing style, the concept, or the formatting style they used), or Iconic. I did have to add a fluff category for all three of those that I apparently had bookmarked.
The order here is meaningless, I just went down my bookmarks tab on AO3. A lot of these authors also have other really excellent works, so I highly recommend exploring their other works!
If your work or username are not here, that doesn’t mean I don’t like it or think you’re a good author! As I said, I just took these from my bookmarks–I literally have some of my favorite authors listed at the bottom whose works I have never bookmarked. Similarly, we just have a lot of good authors in this fandom, and I forget many of them.
I laughed:
Press One for Revolution by LoveKhaleesi (@arcoiriseglitter) & Zimriya (@zimriya)
ExR texting fic. It had me in tears.
Note: discontinued, but near enough to closure that it’s still worth the read.
Hit Me With Your Best Shot by TellThemStories (@tell-themstories)
ExR assassin AU fic, Grantaire’s perspective. R is an assassin, Enjolras is his target. It doesn’t quite work out the way he planned.
We’re All Stories, In The End by TheGlitterati (@kyrstin)
ExR crackfic, Jehan’s perspective (Enjolras’s perspective for a scene at the end)
Les Amours de Marius by Elenchus (@aporeticelenchus)
Marisette crackfic (kind of fake dating, but not how you’re thinking of it), Marius’s perspective. Marius recruits Bahorel and Grantaire (or rather, they recruit themselves) to make Marius’s grandfather more amenable to his engagement to Cosette.
#Roommate Chronicles by IAmSlytherlocked & ImpulseRun
Marius & Courfeyrac friendship tumblr fic, Courfeyrac’s perspective. Courfeyrac catalogs his roommate’s misadventures and the art of Pontmercying.
Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner by sigh_no_more (@babesatthebarricade)
ExR holiday fic, Enjolras’s perspective. Cosette has asked him to attend their asshole bio-dad’s Thanksgiving dinner, but one Craigslist ad makes Enjolras slightly less begrudging in his attending.
Texting ‘Verse by Ladililn (@ladililn)
ExR texting fic. Joly sends a text to the wrong chat.
How I Seduced Enjolras by Gwynplaine
ExR crackfic, Grantaire’s perspective. My Immortal’s younger, smart Les Mis brother.
Note: this fic is rated explicit and contains explicit content throughout. It is essential to the plot.
I cried:
Just accept that all of these have a trigger warning attached, either for total whiplash or possible death/suicidal ideation.
Stereoscopic by TellThemStories (@tell-themstories)
ExR?, Enjolras’s perspective. Enjolras is working overseas for a year with only one-way video messages from his friends as communication. He has a gradual revelation about his feelings for a certain cynic.
Orpheus, Play Yourself a Path From Hades by Sovin (@sovinly)
ExR, Grantaire’s perspective. Grantaire’s cancer returns, and he doesn’t tell anyone. No dialogue.
If You Ever Come Back by MissAndrogyny (@missandrogyny)
ExR break-up/make-up fic, alternating perspectives from work to work.
World War II AU by LoveKhaleesi (@arcoiriseglitter)
ExR WWII AU fic, Enjolras’s perspective. Enjolras and Eponine are harboring a Jewish fugitive.
The only fic I will ever accept the fix-it ending for.
Situational Irony by Ryssabeth
ExR fic, mostly Enjolras’s perspective (I’m not a masochist, I’m not rereading this on a lovely Sunday morning to check). Coping with Grantaire’s death.
Barricade Dawn by Opium_du_Peuple (@just-french-me-up)
Jehanparnasse fic, Jehan’s perspective. Jehan is trying to write a good-bye letter to Montparnasse in case he doesn’t return from the barricade.
Note: this has an explicit content rating. The explicit content is most of the middle and nonessential to the plot, you can read just the beginning and the end.
I think this is also the only canon period fic. Whatever that’s worth.
Life is Only Moments by Raeldaza (@raeldaza)
ExR fic, Enjolras’s perspective. Enjolras reflects over the years of his and Grantaire’s friendship.
This has a fix-it ending, and that’s all well and good, but I prefer the suffering.
Serenata by IbbyLiv
ExR post-breakup fic, Enjolras’s perspective. Enjolras writes notes to Grantaire after he leaves.
Apparently this is basically just a song with some different words swapped in and out. I can’t say I care about anything but the emotions that bubble forth when i read it.
Cheers, Darlin’ by onemillionbranches
ExT post-breakup fic, Grantaire’s perspective. Enjolras is getting married, and Grantaire helps.
It moved me, Bob:
I’m also including what about each one really made me think, because of the nature of this category.
Beautiful Things Have Dents and Scratches Too by A_New_World_To_Be_Won
ExR feelings fic, alternating perspectives. Definitely makes you feel sad, but it has resolution.
I love how raw the writing style is and how directly it translates into pure emotion.
Tin Can by ejr
ExR relationship progression fic, alternating perspectives.
This prose style intrigues me, and I really enjoy it and its application.
You Never Have to Wonder; You Never Have to Ask by GamesForMay
ExR fic, Grantaire’s perspective. 18 months after a major protest, Grantaire returns to Paris for Cosette and Marius’s wedding.
The! Motifs! Are! So! Good! The way Enjolras is shaped and Grantaire’s decision is set before them…and I love the moment all of this revolves around that happened 18 months ago. It’s just a gorgeous piece.
Golden by the_sky_is_forever (@theskyis-forever)
ExR post-breakup fic, alternating perspective. Enjolras goes to Grantaire’s first art gallery since he left the artist.
Okay, so this is also a sad fic. But!! I value the artistry of the writing and love how they were able to pull and shape the emotions with the way they handled their words and sentences and phrasing.
Primary Relations - A Politician’s Journey rev 2-1.avi by Samyazaz (@samyazaz)
ExR documentary fic. Enjolras is running for president, and Grantaire is documenting it.
The prose is so interesting and inspired a yet-unpublished fic I’ve been working on! It can be difficult to write from this perspective, and I think they handled it really well.
Have & Hold by arriviste (@arrivisting)
ExR fake-marriage fic. Enjolras wants to make a political point about gay marriage and meets less resistance than he expected.
This is probably the only fake marriage fic I will ever love and appreciate because the author did such a great job representing the unhealthy feelings involved when you go from zero feelings to being married.
Dismantling Oppressive Establishments, Teamwork, And Other Things Your Coach Never Taught You by AnnaBolena (@annabrolena)
ExR mixed media fic, alternating perspectives.
Usually stories that get told half through dialogue and half through articles drive me nuts with their incongruence and messiness with image formatting, but this author did a phenomenal job with the article styles and telling the story and keeping me interested without bogging the whole thing down with extra formatting.
If There’s No One Beside You (When Your Soul Embarks) by ToBeFerre
ExR reincarnation fic, Grantaire’s perspective. Everyone is back except Enjolras, and Grantaire is trying to keep the club running until Enjolras’s return.
I just really love the concept of the anxiety they carry and the ways they’ve changed since the first time around.
Felled By You, Held By You by EyeOfAHurricane (@eyeofahurricaneart)
ExR progression fic, alternating perspective. Grantaire falls in and out of love with Enjolras.
The concept of love and affections being ephemeral things, the way that love moves more quickly for some than others, and the seasonal symbols made me start thinking and inspired another yet-incomplete fic.
Iconic:
The World Ain’t Ready by IdiopathicSmile (@idiopath-fic-smile)
ExR fake-dating fic, Grantaire’s perspective. I’m not providing a description because this is required reading for anyone in the Les Mis fandom. Just read it if you haven’t yet.
Friday I’m in Love by The Librarina (tears_of_nienna) (@thelibrarina)
ExR fake-dating fic, Enjolras’s perspective. Enjolras is going to his family’s summer residence for a week and needs a way to stick it to his parents.

The Season Underwater by andtheheir
ExR swimteam AU fic, Grantaire’s perspective. Grantaire is put on the varsity swimteam for his junior year and really doesn’t want to let Enjolras down.
This fic is just really beautifully written and really started to make me think about my writing style and start experimenting with it more.
BE by ToTheWillOfThePeople (@kvothes)
ExR theater AU fic, Enjolras’s perspective. Enjolras is roped into directing a production of Hamlet.
Arcadia Ballet!Verse by Darrenjolras
ExR ballet AU fic, Grantaire’s perspective. Grantaire shot his mouth off at some gorgeous up and coming dancer, and now he has to choreograph an entire ballet.
Fluff:
In Love When You Wake Me Up by BethXP
ExR fic, Enjolras’s perspective. Enjolras wakes up from his surgery high and in the presence of his two best friends and a third person.
These Are Some of my Favorite Things (The Post-It-Note!fic) by Zimriya (@zimriya)
ExR fic, Grantaire’s perspective. Enjolras has been leaving post-it notes on things (Grantaire) with seemingly no logic behind it.
Foregone Conclusion by Raeldaza (@raeldaza)
ExR fic, Enjolras’s perspective. Enjolras is receiving gifts from an “anonymous source” (but he’s pretty sure he knows from whom).
As I was doing these, I realized that there are some others authors whose works I love that I didn’t have one or two fics I could choose to put up but still wanted to include (and there are probably more that I’m forgetting):
Myrmidryad (@myrmidryad)
Lovely, thorough writing style.
Sunfreckle (@mysunfreckle)
Lots of lovely Jehanparnasse! They and Opium_du_Peuple are my go-to’s for Jehanparnasse content.
SarahYYY (@sarah-yyy)
So many ExR short stories! Definitely peruse all of her stuff (though be aware–it’s a bit like Russian roulette for the sad stuff; there’s one in there that I was even prepared for and am still recovering from).
Lady_Ragnell
Everything by her is Just. Iconic. So good.
Noelia_g
Also really good. (Sorry, I lost my steam by the end of writing this monster, I really do enjoy her work.)
If anyone knows the tumblrs for any of the authors that I haven’t already tagged, please DM me so I can add them in!

Medicine and the metaverse: New tech allows doctors to travel inside of your body
Interested in learning what's next for the gaming industry? Join gaming executives to discuss emerging parts of the industry this October at GamesBeat Summit Next. Register today.
The world of technology is rapidly shifting from flat media viewed in the third person to immersive media experienced in the first person. Recently dubbed “the metaverse,” this major transition in mainstream computing has ignited a new wave of excitement over the core technologies of virtual and augmented reality. But there is a third technology area known as telepresence that is often overlooked but will become an important part of the metaverse.
While virtual reality brings users into simulated worlds, telepresence (also called telerobotics) uses remote robots to bring users to distant places, giving them the ability to look around and perform complex tasks. This concept goes back to science fiction of the 1940s and a seminal short story by Robert A. Heinlein entitled Waldo. If we combine that concept with another classic sci-fi tale, Fantastic Voyage (1966), we can imagine tiny robotic vessels that go inside the body and swim around under the control of doctors who diagnose patients from the inside, and even perform surgical tasks.
I know that sounds like pure fiction, but a startup company in Hayward California has recently “flown” a tiny robot inside the digestive track of human subjects. The company is Endiatx, and I had a chance to discuss their technology and vision with CEO Torrey Smith. As a technologist who has been involved in telepresence research from the early days, I was impressed with the progress Endiatx has made. But before I get into that, let’s jump back in time a few decades and provide some context as to why their breakthrough strikes me as such an unexpected advancement.
The first telerobotic prototypes
My first experience with an immersive telerobotics system was over thirty years ago. I can still remember the first time I peered into a headset, grabbed a set of periscope-like handles, and looked around a room that wasn’t the one I was sitting in. It was 1991 and I was working in a lab at NASA that had some of the first prototypes of a mobile telerobotic system. It was developed by Fake Space Labs and Telepresence Research and it allowed you to control a mobile robot with a camera system that sent back stereoscopic images in real time. Below is a photo of that early system from an academic paper on those efforts, showing the state of the art in telepresence research thirty years ago.
youtube
Telepresence Mobile Robot
That early system was extremely impressive at the time and was developed by some of the top researchers in the field back then. But if you wanted to bring the hardware to a trade show, you’d probably need a good-sized van or maybe even a U-Haul truck. The idea of shrinking a system like that down to a size that a person could swallow and be controlled by a doctor was beyond conception. So what were the proposed application areas during the early days of telepresence?
Early on, the focus was to enable human operators to perform work in hazardous places, for example, to clean up nuclear accidents, repair satellites, and even to fix leaking oil wells on the ocean floor. My personal focus in the early 1990s was adding augmented reality and haptic feedback to the field of telepresence with the goal of enhancing operator performance. This was cutting-edge research back then, but I still never considered the notion of shrinking the technology to such a size that it could be “flown” inside the human body as a means of diagnosing and treating patients from the inside.
‘Fantastic Voyage’ realized
For these reasons, I was surprised to learn about the ambitious vision and recent technical success of the team at Endiatx. Founded in 2019, they have already created a tiny robotic drone that can be swallowed by human patients and piloted remotely inside the stomach and other parts of the digestive tract. Known as the PillBot™, their prototype system is basically a tiny remote-controlled submarine the size of a multivitamin that sends real-time video back to a doctor’s computer or phone. And it works – they’ve run tests on cadavers and live humans.
Pillbot™ robotic drone that gets swallowed by medical patients. Image courtesy of Endiatx
When chatting with CEO Torrey Smith, he told me he was inspired as a kid by the sci-fi movie Innerspace (1987) and has been thinking about that concept ever since. A few years ago he finally took the plunge, founding Endiatx to bring this concept to life. And so far, it’s going well. Not only is his company on its way to bringing this capability to healthcare as a shipping product, but Torrey himself was the first person on the planet to have a robotic drone flown around inside his stomach. He volunteered, swallowing the first prototype that made a true fantastic voyage.
Since that initial test, others at the company have swallowed working prototypes many times, capturing live video of the type that will one day be used to screen patients for ulcers, gastritis, cancers, and other potential ailments. And that day is not far off – the team is currently conducting cadaver tests with doctors at the Mayo Clinic and is planning trials for FDA approval. If all goes smoothly, the PillBot could be diagnosing patients around the world by 2024.
This could be a huge benefit for individuals who go to the doctor with stomach pain. Instead of having a standard endoscopy procedure, which generally requires sedation and involves multiple visits, the tiny swallowable robot could save time, money, and complexity, giving doctors a quick and easy way to look around inside their patient. And it may provide more flexible control than a traditional endoscope, as the untethered Pillbot has the full 3D mobility of a tiny robotic submarine. It even looks like a tiny sub – with micromotors and tiny propellers along with a video camera, battery, and wireless link for feeding images back to doctors in real-time.

Faster, cheaper, more accurate screenings
Currently, doctors can fly the tiny drone using a standard Xbox gaming controller, but the company plans to enable control using the touchscreen of any mobile phone. That’s because their vision is for a disposable unit that is shipped to your home and swallowed during a telemedicine consultation with your doctor, who reviews the camera feed in real-time from their PC or phone. Endiatx believes the robotic pills can be manufactured for $25 each, sold for hundreds of dollars per unit, and save many thousands of dollars in medical expenses that endoscopic procedures cost to perform under sedation. But more importantly, the company believes that PillBots will save many lives by enabling faster and cheaper screening that finds serious conditions sooner than would otherwise be practical.
The company expects to begin the first clinical trials later this year, roll out an in-clinic version soon after, and launch an at-home version not long after that. And once they have shipping products that enable doctors to look around inside the body, their next objective is to enable the device to take tissue samples and perform other surgical tasks. Long term, their plan is to shrink their robotic drone down to the size of a grain of rice, opening up capabilities beyond the digestive tract. And their goal is to provide all of these capabilities for in-home use, with doctors controlling bots by telemedicine.
The future of telemedicine?
I was a little skeptical about the telemedicine angle for a tiny robot like this, as we’re talking about a powerful diagnostic tool delivered in the mail. Will the medical profession embrace such a change, or will they insist on keeping such capabilities in clinics and hospitals? That’s when I saw the press release this week from Amazon announcing the acquisition of healthcare provider One Medical for almost $4 Billion and stating that Amazon wants to reinvent the healthcare experience.
Neil Lindsay, SVP of Amazon Health Services is quoted in the release: “Booking an appointment, waiting weeks or even months to be seen, taking time off work, driving to a clinic, finding a parking spot, waiting in the waiting room then the exam room for what is too often a rushed few minutes with a doctor, then making another trip to a pharmacy – we see lots of opportunity to both improve the quality of the experience and give people back valuable time in their days.”
In that context, the sci-fi vision of tiny drones that are swallowed by patients and controlled remotely by doctors during telemedicine visits may really become part of our mainstream medical experience. As a lifelong technologist who often writes about the looming dangers of the metaverse, this is one emerging application area that genuinely impresses me.

R. Van 2011 Hindi short story
Ra. One (English: Ra.One) is a 2011 Indian superhit film, written and directed by Anubhav Sinha. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan in two roles, one being a computer game developer and the other a G. Van (superhero). The film stars Arjun Rampal as Ra Wan. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor and Arman Burma. Shahna Goswami, Duleep Tahil and Chinese actor Tam Bo have been seen in supporting roles. Rajinikanth, Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra are seen in guest roles.

Post-Production included the use of stereoscopic 3D rendering and visual effects, which have since been recognized as a strategic success among Indian cinema. One of India's most expensive Indian movies, Indian Rupee, grossed over Rs 132 crore (US $ 27.3 million). Manufacturers spend from Indian Rupee ₹ 130 crore (US $ 27.9 million) to Indian Rupee ₹ 52 crore (US $ 11.56 million) marketing budget, which includes 6 months of advertising, brand Ta-up, vendors, video games and viral marketing. Did.
Commercially, it was the third highest grossing film of 2011, the second highest grossing Bollywood film in the world in 2011, and broke the box office record. The film grossed over Rs 208 crore, making it a superhit. After the film, he won numerous awards for his professional / technical prowess, including the 57th National Film Awards, the 57th Filmfare Awards and four International Indian Film Academy Awards.
Requirements--
According to director Anubhav Sinha, "Raan Wan "'s judgment came about when he saw an advertisement on television showing children controlling a human from afar. He was interested in the concept and also wrote a short story based on it.
Did Shah Rukh Khan feel that the film had significant commercial potential? This is a unique example of how to become a superhero and fulfill your "childhood dream" of flying. "I want to make a film that can give me the status quo for 20 years," he said. He also said that he wanted to make a film dedicated to the father-son relationship, which was "neglected" in Bollywood. Khan's idea was to create a simple family drama that expanded into an action film. He refused to make films in English to increase his appeal to Western audiences. "It simply came to our notice then.

Hundreds of LED triangles combine for brilliant interactive display
If you need another idea for how to creatively diffuse LED lighting, then look no further than the “Light Me Up!” project by Hyewon Shin, Eunjeong Ko, and Junsung Yi.
Their setup uses 312 3D-printed and laser-cut light triangles, each of which contains a trio of RGB LEDs. Users select the desired light by pressing the triangles themselves, via buttons concealed beneath the main assembly. Several Arduino boards are used to control the massive structure.
With such an involved triangular display, a number of interesting 3D-like shapes and even words can be created by users. Alternatively, smaller triangle arrangements can also be constructed using the same build concepts.
This project has several triangles that form a hexagonal shape. So you can create stereoscopic patterns according to how you design light! Just press each piece and various colors will be gradated, and when the color you want comes out, just hit the hand you pressed and it will continue to shine beautifully with the color you wanted!
Check out its triangular luminescence in the videos below!

Session 2:Making sense of the Subject
Research 2
On August 20, 2014, the Media Art performance Project "inheriting" was displayed in Taiwan. The project combines story, dance, 3D printing, real-time motion capture, stereoscopic projection, 3D interactive images.
This work gives me a good idea. The producer believes that the art of digital media can explore new aesthetics and concepts, but the producer wants to use digital media to explore the past, not the future. He combines digital media technology with traditional culture perfectly, using a variety of new media technologies, such as 3D printing and so on.
As the producer put it: "only by inventing new and sincere ways to understand our past can we change the future." This inspired me, and I hope my work, can also record my feelings, my understanding of digital media. I hope that my audience will be students of my age, let them stand in the same angle as me to understand digital media, interested in digital media, to learn, so that digital media can be further developed.

Eye separation in Three.js stereo 3D scenes
Recently I was creating a large 3D scene where I was using coordinate units equivalent to metres, so my scene was around 2km by 2km. To make it more interesting I was also using effects for stereoscopic viewing including for 3D TVs and Google Cardboard. But in such big scenes things can be far away and so the 3D effect wasn’t as good as I’d have liked because Three.js uses an inter-pupil distance of 0.064 (in metre-world that’s 64mm, so very similar to a real-world human).
Obviously I could have got around that by scaling my scene so that’s it’s smaller, which would make things stand out better in stereoscopic vision by creating a disparity between the left and right eye views. But I wanted to keep it simple in coordinate terms so I had a look into the Three.js code. It turns out that the inter-pupil distance is hard-coded as half the distance between the eyes: i.e. it’s actually the left and right offset for the corresponding cameras. So, to allow me to vary the eye separation the first thing I did was change the Three.js file (around line 17400 in the version I used) to replace the hard-coded ‘var eyeSep = 0.064 / 2;’ line with:
if(typeof eyeseparation!='undefined') var eyeSep=eyeseparation; else var eyeSep = 0.064 / 2;
That change shouldn’t have any effect on Three.js use for anything else I use it with, but if I include something like ‘var eyeseparation=0.2;’ in my own JavaScript code (as the half-inter-pupil distance) then it’ll override the default value. That means I can now easily vary the inter-pupil distance when I need to and, because it’s the StereoCamera object that’s been changed, it should work with most stereoscopic effects in Three.js. And, if you’re wondering why that might be a good idea then here’s a few reasons:
In real-life anything past around 20m away doesn’t look any different to your left and right eyes, and the same concept applies to virtual world viewing. So when there aren’t any close-up objects to add 3D effect we can emphasise larger, more distant, objects this way.
If a scene doesn’t try to keep its’ dimensions similar to real-world ones (e.g. we’re using some sort of scaling factor) then we can use this to scale the eye separation too.
If you’re trying to replicate some sort of warped space-time dimensions, where axes have different scalings, then you may want to adjust eye separation as a way of simulating dimension-distortion (and it’s a cheaper and safer way of doing that than alcohol).
Allowing users control over the eye separation lets them adjust their 3D viewing preferences. So users who have difficulty viewing scenes can reduce the separation to ease viewing, and experienced 3D users can increase the separation to accentuate the stereoscopic effect. And for beginners, they can vary the separation over time as a way to get used to 3D viewing without too much eye straining.
It could be a good way of adding some dynamic visual effects and feedback, by varying eye separation as a function of time (with some more changes to the StereoCamera code). Of course, if you do that too much, or too quickly, best to have a non-virtual bucket close by!

CINEMA 4D R18 Best Review
Enter last year and R13, now C4D is looking a great deal like a high-end, The show biz industry movie 3D package. R13 has a totally brand new Physical Render system pertaining to highly photorealistic renders; Stereoscopic tools and workflows pertaining to S3D 3D; an incredible variety of new personality animation tools; and the ton of Modeling, Computer animation, File I/O and USER INTERFACE improvements. This is the very big update that will takes Cinema 4D in order to a new level.
HIGHER END IS WHAT YOU DECIDE TO DO, NOT WHAT YOU PURCHASE It really is a good interesting time for the particular progress 3D animation software program packages. Names that had been once exclusivly for that higher end market like, Mayand Softimage, have lengthy since been acquired simply by Autodesk and been significantly reduced in price. Whilst the traditionally more spending budget friendly apps like Lightwave 3D and 3D Studio Max (also an Autodesk product) have seen their own toolsets and capabilities develop to challenge the marketplace heavyweights. The idea that will “high end” 3D ability was something you bought with a pile associated with money has really eliminated the way of SGI machines. “High end” is not what you own any longer, it’s what you perform with what you may have. It’s in this particular crowded, competitive marketplace that will a product like Cinema 4D R13 Studio (C4D) has to be examined. C4D has been close to since 1991. The one. 0 was released for that Commodore Amiga - the particular first ’90’s DIY movie platform of choice. C4D’s roots run deep within the anti-big iron motion of desktop jockeys plus one-person shops. C4Ds roots are mirrored closely simply by Newtek’s Lightwave 3D. Given that then, C4D has extended to Windows, MacOS plus Linux (for Studio just, and only by ask for, BTW), while also increasing and keeping pace along with the developments and developments in 3D animation. Such as Lightwave 3D, C4D offers been picked up plus used by VFX homes on big budget The show biz industry effects films - the particular measure by which the product is judged “high end” if you complete by the product reading. This pressure from beneath - rapidly developing multipltform desktop tools combined along with the explosion of inexpensive CPU and GPU energy - has defined many facets of post manufacturing technology the past 2 decades, 3D is simply no exception. The myriad associated with uses (and users) associated with 3D in motion photos and motion graphics possess exploded. This hashappened because in-camera effects and miniatures have retreated to a few very narrow niche within the market. The quantity of people using 3D applications for day-to-day, non-Hollywood work has greatly extended as well. There are usually a lot more individuals shopping around for actually great, easyish-to-use, powerful 3D applications. Further, this program has to be plug and play with the Adobe CS Suite and run upon everyone’s hardware. This offers changed the 3D scenery in a big method. Rather than the divergent markets of “high finish iron” versus “desktop rebels, it’s all become a single big pie. The application that began on the particular Amiga in 1991 (C4D) now costs 3500 dollars, while the app that will started out on IRIX in 1998 (Maya) furthermore costs 3500 bucks. Each apps are chasing the particular same buyers, and each offer free or teaser versions to win more than market share. With simply no difference in price, purchasers must think about the particular larger equation of Complete Cost of Ownership pertaining to a 3D package. Which usually is my method associated with saying that the price of a 3D application is far more in comparison to sticker price.
THE PARTICULAR AUTO ASSEMBLY LINE VERSUS. THE MAKER-BOT Big spending budget 3D apps were constructed to live and function on a highly-skilled VFX assembly line, they possess a legacy of strong programming/scripting tools, complex computer animation capablities, network rendering plus integration with other higher end pieces of software program. At the same period, the desktop apps had been made for a lot more single license, end consumer market - they got to be friendly sufficient to use and become able to run upon off-the-shelf hardware. The desktop-born apps have had in order to play catch up when it comes to feature set, power plus scalability. The genesis through the high end 3D apps will be the automotive set up line towards the essential contraindications “maker-bot” style DIY roots of products that jogged on the highly prosumer platforms of the earlier 1990’s. C4D lives the particular legacy of an consumer friendly 3D application that will has grown up in order to a full-fledged CGI modeling, animation and rendering suite of tools. Along along with these tools, a lively and active user local community is growing up along with it. THIS IS HEADING TO TAKE TIME 3D deals used to be simply like a religion, a person could really only sign up for one. But the actuality in today’s post conditions, and parity of function sets among packages, indicates most artists are qualified in multiple programs This particular brings me back close to Total Cost associated with Ownership along with other things in order to consider when learning the 3D application. Learning the 3D Application, no issue how easy to use, means dealing with a huge, steep shape. Any package you understand now should be accumulating a base set associated with skills which are transferrable to whatever arrives the next day. Many 3D artists furthermore use multiple 3D deals in the course associated with a project - levelling the relative strengths plus speeds to maximize work flow efficiency. So a 3D app has to function with other 3D applications, while ideally being similiar enough in concept plus execution that skills convert between packages. Call this a compatibility litmus check. This is a check that C4D R13 fulfills. With support for the ton of 3D plus 2D file formats, plus a plug-in SDK that will let’s developers create their own paths into the particular app, C4D R13 is certainly plug-and-play. Bottom line, When you’re going to be considered a working 3D artist, after that you’ll have to understand multiple 3D apps plus workflows. But what when you’re not going ot be a 3D designer, but you still really want to create CGI pertaining to your projects? This is certainly actually the boat that will I am in. We are not a 3D artist. I am the writer/ director of unbiased and commercial projects along with enough knowledge of post-production pipelines to work along with VFX professionals. From period to time, I may use apps like Fake Pro, Google Sketch Upward and Photoshop to pre-visualize sequences and shots. Nevertheless, the final time We personally created CGI has been a decade ago within Lightwave 7 on the G4 tower. I possess been working with computer systems and cameras for the particular last 20 years, which usually makes me allergic in order to reading manuals or guidelines of any kind. We have a brain packed with useless keyboard cutting corners for applications that “end of life’d” years. I am constantly terrified that any kind of new knowledge or ability will suddenly be made obsolete by some additional new knowledge or ability. My aversion to getting to learn anything brand new to do something We want to do upon a computer borders over the pathological. To me, the particular Arri Alexa is the particular perfect camera not since of it’s pretty picture and wide latitude, yet because of it’s easy menus and big chocolate colored buttons. 3D applications have always looked such as the geekiest of geekery in my experience. To be obvious, I have only angry respect and admiration pertaining to the artists who function the 3D, but All of us are not one associated with them. So why was I diving into the full-on serious 3D program like C4D? C4D CAN MAKE ME WANT TO BECOME A BETTER ARTIST
In order to become totally truthful in order to you, I absolutely want in order to know about this things now. I’ve never shaken the knowledge of watching “Monsters” and thinking that it is the last best wish for American Independent movie theater to finally break in order to wider audiences. Every period some broke filmmaker within Brooklyn makes a film about three friends within an apartment talking in order to one another, all associated with indie film gets lambasted as boring exercises within entitled, mumbly navel-gazing. Whenever in reality, broke filmmakers are doing the greatest they can with extremely limited resources and increasing restrictions on where plus exactly how you may shoot. Part of the particular benefit of DSLRs is certainly that a filmmaker may shoot in public and never arouse the suspicion through the populace or attract the ire of the particular authorities. Benefit cost, within money and time, associated with permits, permissions and exclusions is more than sufficient to drive most smashed filmmakers back into their own apartments to see exactly what they can pull away. And yes, mostly it is boring, mumbly and well-trod. Along comes Gareth Edwards, who packs up their EX3 (and Letus adapter) two actors plus a friend. He flies everyone straight down to Southern Mexico, rental prices a cargo van plus sets off to take a no budget, indie road movie. He’s currently one step ahead associated with the game by capturing it outside his residence, but still pretty close to a thousand additional “indie road romances” unspooling every year at celebrations. He shoots his film; enlists nonactors in crucial roles; composes great photos with nice scenery, after that goes home returning to their studio apartment and turns the door for the year.
He comes away and blows everyone’s thoughts by taking his street movie into New world plus a 3D app (3DS Max, not C4D). This individual pulls down some pre-made 3D models off the particular internet, does some modeling and animation on their own. 250 effects photos and a year later on he’s done. All results, animation, compositing and making done on two computer systems in his studio residence. And exactly what can have been a dull, mumbly “road-romance” is abruptly a suspense-filled, dystopic sci-fi rumination on loss, appreciate and survival after unthinkable disaster. No zillion buck effects budget, no number of VFX companies put away of business overnight simply by flat-rate bids - simply indie spirit and delivery of a genre which usually was supposed to become off-limits to broke filmmakers. When I watch the particular feature demo reels associated with what Cinema 4D R13 can do, I was also awestruck and influenced by what I can do on my laptop computer. Armed with an available, affordable piece of 3D software after Effects. MOVEMENT TRACK + 3D COMPUTER ANIMATION TEST 2012 = DIGITAL SLR + QUICK FIX CHECK 2010 Clearly an whole new generation of filmmakers are realizing that merging live action footage along with CGI elements is abruptly, easily, available to all of them. Take a look in “Another Earth” and a person can see what a few inspired filmmakers did along with motion tracking and compositing still images from NASA - a much less technically challenging project that will Edwards’ monsters.
THE UNLIMITED VIRTUAL PROPS DEPARTMENT Whenever i ventured into the particular wilds of 3D computer animation, I found an incredible local community of generous over-sharers. Therefore much has changed given that I made a fifty percent a dozen CGI photos for my short movie. The web is today a warehouse of each beautifully detailed 3D versions and crude, rudimentary angles. Pricing varies from free to the hundreds associated with dollars, as far because I can tell, right now there is absolutely no rhyme or reason about exactly how prices are set. We discovered gorgeous stuff pertaining to free and some fairly janky looking stuff that will cost real dollars. Luckily, there’s C4D cafe plus CGTalk, among a great deal of others. Honestly, We know I’ll need in order to learn to model in some time, but We can build cities, generate cars and fly airplanes all with free or even really cheap models down loaded in seconds. So that will as far as the aversion to reading guides, as it happens We don’t have to. This seems, in my experience, that each 3D artist can furthermore be an eager maker of screen-capture how-to video clips. With no one is certainly more eager compared in order to creators of 3D applications. Maxon has something known as Cineversity, a collection associated with screen-cap the right way to videos upon every aspect of Cinema 4D as well because workflows for modeling, computer animation and VFX. This is certainly a subscription service which usually i got a ninety day pass to make use of. The content is incredibly helpful, but there’s the particular ton of free exercising on YouTube and Vimeo that’s equally as useful. In 3D-land, there is certainly no shortage of exercising available.
My mercenary want to combine live-action video footage with 3D elements through the internet backlot actually allowed me to spend attention to some limit and specific parts associated with C4D R13. I nevertheless don’t know what the NURB is, I’m somewhat hazy on UV heads and I know that will hair is actually cool within 3D, but I’ve however to put it upon anything. I love New world, I have since 1995. And am love items from The Foundry. We beta-tested Camera Tracker, plus I am a faithful user and evangelist associated with just how stupid-easy this is to use. Digital camera Tracker makes match shifting so simple which we don’t really remember the workflows before. So whenever I discovered out that will C4D a new connect to for After Effects that will let me export the camera data, I has been kind of smitten. Plus it’s just that simple - track my video footage, create camera, export in order to Cinema 4D. In C4D, I can open upward my camera track because a new Cinema 4D project. Once inside C4D, I can drop within 3D objects, animate, include lights, render my computer animation and then composite back again in New world. One associated with the real breakthrough highlights of C4D R13, is the particular inclusion of the Actual physical Render system - the kind of real-world physics model of an optic system for rendering extremely photorealistic, detailed CGI. Component of that TCO point I talked about, has been how in previous variations of C4D, you’d possess to buy a chair of VRay for the thousand bucks in situation you wanted that type of rendering quality. Today it’s contained in the sticker cost. MY FIRST C4D TASK I created a task for this review known as “Inspiration: Oakland”. It’s the attempt at the DO-IT-YOURSELF SciFi workflow and the nod to one through the more well-known These types of Area Star Wars tales regarding the origins of the particular AT-AT design. The video footage was shot with the hacked GH1 (shooting 60mbit, 4: 2: 2 MJPEG) and then tracked using the Foundry’s Camera Tracker within After Effects CS five. 5. The AT-AT has been a freebie Poser design off the internet, plus the animation was needed for Poser Pro this year.
An email about Personality Animation in C4D R13 and why I opted Poser Pro 2012. Whilst the new character computer animation in C4D R13 equipment are amazingly powerful, We were dumbstruck when We attempted to build the own quadriped rigging within them. This isn’t in order to say that it’s difficult to do necessarily, nevertheless it would have needed more learning than We had time to perform. I already knew the right way to do it in Fake Pro. Thankfully, C4D performs nice with a great deal of apps, including assisting a plug-in from Jones Micro (PoserObject) that allows me bring in total Poser scenes. And indeed, I kind of appreciate Poser, I use this a ton for previz work.
Step 1: Transfer the shot into New world, track with Camera System. After a little thoroughly clean up from the monitor, I had Camera System build the camera answer and create the picture. I inserted a nevertheless picture of the AT-AT to test how nicely the track would “stick” objects to the video footage. Step 2: File > Export > Cinema 4D Exporter. We mean, really, could this be any simpler? Step three: Launch C4D, open the particular C4D file I produced from the After Results export. Step four: Proceed to Plug-Ins > Poser Object, C4D falls an instance of the particular Poser Object right directly into the center of the particular work area. In the particular Attributes Box, I can just select whatever Fake Scene I want. The note, it is a specific work flow for me, easily was the real C4D jockey, We could just as very easily rig a downloaded design from the web correct here, no need in order to go to other applications. Step 5: Compose components in front of the virtual camera. Really simple, I can preview within real-time, move lights close to, etc. I added the “Sky” object, which allow me enter in the particular location (in easy in order to use “San Francisco, Ca, USA” or I can just enter in chart coordinates), the date plus time. This really is certainly really handy if you are doing shot matching among real life scenes and digital objects. It’s also an additional sort of the require for someone, or some thing (camera) to keep monitor of this type associated with metadata (the Sony FS100 has a built-in GPS NAVIGATION, for example).
Step six: Pick my renderer -- here I have every thing from “Standard” that is certainly really fast but can make things look really “3D”, on up to “Physical” that is really slower on my outdated Earlier 2008 Macbook-pro but can make things look really “real”. In terms of file format options, I can make to anything. I opted 8 bit (per channel) PSD. But I may render out file platforms that also support 3D channel info like RLA. And I can make out Quicktime movies, yet who does that? Outcomes: Perhaps it was the particular internet sourced model or even the less-than-detailed texture function on my part, nevertheless the Physical Renderer created some funny artifacts upon my AT-AT’s head. The majority of notably a flickering polygon. This artifact was not really present in a “Standard” render of the exact same scene.
After Rendering, We brought the image series in New world where this snapped perfectly into location, and I have obtained to see how We premultiplied the sky item with my AT-AT, putting a nice perfect glowing blue outline around it. Instead than rendering again, We personally use the equipment in After Effects to correct it. Then I proceeded to go about compositing (the flickering polygon error, meant a few painting, but other compared to that it was fairly painless), color correcting plus rendering. That was this. Easy integration between the hacked GH1 clip, Right after Effects, a 3D design from the internet plus Cinema 4D.
CONCLUSION Cinema 4D R13 is a good awesome program filled along with power, speed and level. After many years associated with development, Maxon has launched a mature, stable plus robust application that is certainly easy to use plus powerful enough for high end, professional work flows, whilst accessible and fun pertaining to brand spanking new customers to start working instantly. After a few several weeks of some serious noodling, I was barely capable to scratch the surface area of what this item has to offer proprietors. However, it’s already challenging to consider going directly into another project without Cinema 4D on my pier, wedged between After Results and Final Cut Professional. If you’re looking pertaining to an easy-ish to make use of all around modeling, computer animation and rendering application, that will plays nice along with other posting tools, then C4D is certainly a great choice. This comes with a system rendering engine as nicely in the event a person want to set upward your own home make farm. There are furthermore a ton of on the web render farms available within case you don’t really want to buy a ton associated with hardware, but will require power from time-to-time. Even though plug-in support could become kind of limited whenever “farming out”. C4D arrives in 4 flavors, beginning at the low finish with C4D Prime pertaining to about a thousand dollars (even cheaper than that will if you possess a few other app that authorize for a “side grade”) and going up in order to the all towards the particular fully loaded C4D Studio for around 3500 bucks. I love this technique, so I can obtain were only available within 3D, and when or even if my needs modify, I can upgrade plus get new and a lot more esoteric tools working within an environment I’m currently familiar with. C4D furthermore offers a ton associated with 3rd party plug-ins that will let you do every thing from growing virtual vegetation to doing 3D movement capture by having an XBOX Kinect, there actually is no restrict.

Follicular System Grafting - Moder Hair Transplantation Surgical Treatment | Dr Roy B. Stoller
In follicular unit hair transplantation, contributor hair is gathered by excising a slim strip of scalp from the donor location-- a location at the back of the head that is immune to hair loss. Each follicular device in the contributor strip has one to four hairs. Follicular system transplant is extremely effective since several thousand hair grafts can be acquired from one benefactor strip. While in concept follicular unit hair transplantation is really basic, its application calls for thorough micro-surgical skills, interest to detail, and also creativity.
hair transplant long island
Hair in the scalp expands in tiny family members groupings referred to as follicular units, which include between one and also five hairs each. It is necessary that the honesty of these collections remain undisturbed throughout the breakdown process.
The production of follicular device implants from the donor scalp calls for a two-stage process of to start with slivering the ellipse into really great scalp areas and then dissection of the follicular units from these bits.
Both phases of this procedure are accomplished by the use the stereoscopic dividing microscope. The use of these technically sophisticated microscopes has actually reduced transection of hair follicles to the degree that we now have a 30% boost in return from our contributor strip. The factor for this is that we are now able to directly visualize the scalp we are dividing under high magnification, as opposed to simply reducing blindly via the contributor strip as seen in older methods

Male loss of hair can be stopped with the right loss of hair solution.
Trust me Hair loss can be defeated. I was a target of loss of hair from the age of 22. Constantly looking in the mirror to see to it that my vibrant areas where covered and also not noticeable. Do not get me wronghairlospatient1.jpg there is nothing wrong with being bold, I understand, I was strong for practically a decade prior to my transplant, as well as on some individuals it even looks much better. I on the other hand liked having hair and was not one of those fortunate individuals, so I looked into for ten years from the age of 23 to 35. Finally, I had my first transplant at the age of 35 and also believe it or not I was re-born, literally. I have had an overall of 2 surgical procedures as well as now at near to 40 years old, I look far better compared to when I was 30. I can tell you 1st hand that it is absolutely a life transforming occasion. You will certainly never regret it as well as it is absolutely worth every penny. Photographer Mugunghwa Sonyeo talked about working with various idols on the May 12 broadcast of MBC FM’s “Idol Radio.”
photographer Mugunghwa girl told about post-work with bullying boy band.
Mugunghwa girl appeared on ‘The Makers’, a Sunday corner of MBC standard FM ‘Idol Radio’.
Mugunghwa girl is a photographer who is called ‘color genius’ as a fairy tale photograph. The idol that I worked with is the group Shinhwa, Jimin and the government of the bulletproof boy band, GOT7, Cain, Baek Yilin, Ohmy Girl, Girl of the month, Dreamcatcher.
Mugunghwa explained that she has a meaning of “I want to put beautiful image like the color of the sky” about her pseudonym. He studied cinema and animation, studying photography by himself, uploaded his work to SNS (Social Network Service), and started working with idol by receiving love calls from various agencies.
Mugunghwa explained, “I try to work on a line that does not harm the world view of idol and keeps their image.”
Mugunghwa participated in the ‘Love Yourself’ teaser poster of the Bulletproof Boys’ Team. “It was raining and it was really hot. I did not forget Jimin, who gave me an umbrella that day when it was raining (at the time of my work). ”
Also, as the most photographed idol, he pointed out Bulletproof Boys’ Vu and Vivienne Pnieel. Mugunghwa said, “Even though the album cover was taken by Viga, it was really nice to have a feeling of freedom in spite of cloudy weather.
In order to include various aspects of idol, I have taken a picture with Shinhwa as an example of his own concept presentation.
Mugunghwa said, “When I took a picture of the 20th anniversary of the group, I proposed a plan to express it boyishly because I wanted to work with a different image than before.” “Kim Dongwan is interested in the camera and asked ‘What is this camera? I also appreciate it because I think that you have helped me to take some pictures and relax. ”
The Mugunghwa girl named her favorite photo album ‘Carnival’, Baek Yorin ‘s’ It’ s probably not our fault ‘, and this month’ s girl ‘Butterfly’.
Mugunghwa explained, “I like the stereoscopic particles and colors in the photographs that the film implements.” He said, “I have to know what I want to shoot. If you want to take a picture of the scenery, you can see exactly what you want to show in the landscape, and if you are a person, you can come up with a good idea of what kind of atmosphere you want to take. ”
The Mugunghwa girl said, “It is my ultimate goal to live happily and consistently expressing and taking photos with light.”
The idol radio program of MBC Radio is broadcast every day at 1 ~ 2 AM MBC standard FM (Seoul 95.9MHz, Seoul) and MBC radio application mini.

Session 7: Generative Media 【Research】
This week's theme is Generative Media,I found a movie during my research.,called "Experiments in Motion Graphics"(1968)featuring the computer-generated art of John Whitney.
youtube
At the same time, I also found some special examples of generative Media.
youtube
This program is a form of random change of the circle by recognizing the music.
youtube
The other is to make a picture with different lines, you can also upload an image, the system will change the appearance of the line according to the pixels of the image.
Session 7: Generative Media【Production】
When I was working on my project, I looked at some tutorials. I found that the coordinates in the programming of processing are important, like in the modelling software, the z-axis, the y-axis, and the z-axis. This can turn the graphics built in the code into stereoscopic, spatial effects. So I studied this concept carefully.
Then I found a very interesting tutorial on the Internet. In this tutorial, you can make a window that shows the meteor, and the speed of the meteor can be changed by the mouse movement so that random changes can be applied to many places.
youtube
The first step I wrote the size of the window, I chose 800*800, this will be a little clearer, and the mouse movement speed setting is added below.
Then I am in the Star interface, I set the position of the stars on the x, y, and z-axes, and added the trajectory of the meteor.
youtube
Session 7: Generative Media【Reflection】
Through this processing of processing, I have a different understanding of different programming methods. Before that, I thought programming, code is a very boring thing, but after I learned about processing, VVVV, Arduino, I found the code. Different combinations are so interesting, and there are many ways to program the code waiting for me to explore. When each different code is combined, the artwork produced by the program is amazing, maybe this It's the charm of digital media, but this is just the beginning, there are still many things that I need to learn.

Concept Statement
4. Contemporary art and design often looks at the idea of constructed binaries, such as man/woman, soft/hard, straight/gay, dirty/clean, organic/synthetic. Considering the history of these ‘pairs’, how can art and design interrogate these binaries and offers new insights?
In my first project, I attempted to explore a wide range of binary models. I decided to carry the research and concept across to the next assessment, narrowing my focus to fewer subjects in greater detail. The three main topics I aim to represent through my work are the power of symbolism and how we interpret it, political figures, and the interaction of light and colour. Previously, i contrasted Donald Trump to Mahatma Ghandi, but for Assessment 2 decided to instead choose Martin Luther King Jr as I feel he is a more relevant example and his career, beliefs and actions directly oppose the current US president.
The general concept for this piece was to use the property of additive and subtractive colour to create a composition of 3 different images layered on top of each other. When the image is viewed through a blue filter, the red elements becomes muted and the blue elements appear more vibrant and vice versa. These types of images are called anaglyphs and are commonly used in older style 3D stereoscopic photos. By using these 2 binary colours (red and cyan) printed on top of each other, the resulting images is someone messy and indistinguishable, but when viewed through either the red or blue filter, two distinct and opposing images appear. The filters are meant to represent or preconceived biases and beliefs as humans, when one filter is on we see the world in a certain way and the other image is almost completely lost. Surrounding Trump and King are a series of symbols that are closely linked and commonly associated them respectively. I attempted to group this symbols with their contrasting counterpart to further highlight the difference between the two men. Trump seeks to build borders physically and mentally to divide the nation and encourage hate while Martin Luther King Jr sought to break down barriers and was a strong advocate for peace and justice. I decided to portray trump and his associated symbols in red because it is more commonly linked with evil, rage, aggression (as well as his red power tie) etc, while the blue that MLK Jr and his symbols are depicted in are much softer in nature. Some of the respective symbols include: ⦁ A dove and an eagle ⦁ The peace sign and an assault rifle ⦁ The Black Power symbol and a Klu Klux Klan hood ⦁ “I Have a Dream” and a MAGA hat The ultimate goal was to use binary colours and symbols to investigate two opposite personalities. My main inspiration first come from Felipe Pantone, Spanish graffiti/contemporary artist whos work is based on the interaction of light and colour, and how you can manipulate it. His work led me to discover Insane51 who paints almost exclusively in cyan and red spraypaint on a large scale to produce 3D/stereoscopic images. I already knew i wanted to incorporate my research around colour into the project somehow, so when i saw Insane51’s work i thought it would be an interesting way to do so. The process of completing the image was somewhat repitive in some sense. The digital screen and filters are displayed on pixels (RGB) colour however most printers print in CMYK so a lot of tweaking was required to make sure no information was lost in translation during the printing process and that the filtering effect worked as the piece transitioned from digital to material. This was an interesting insight into the digital/material binary that i hadn’t thought of prior to starting the project. I decided to use a combination of Digital and Hand drawn elements in an attempt to show this comparison in some way.

R. Van
R. Van
Ra. One (English: Ra.One) is a 2011 Indian superhit film, written and directed by Anubhav Sinha. Shah Rukh Khan played two roles in the film, one being a computer game developer and the other being G. Van (Super Hero). The film stars Arjun Rampal as Ra Wan. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor and Arman Burma. Shahna Goswami, Dalip Tahil and Chinese actor Tam Bo have been seen in supporting roles. Rajinikanth, Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra are seen in guest roles.
Principal Photography, launched in March 2010 in India and the United Kingdom, was overseen by an international team of drivers. Post-Production involved the use of stereoscopic 3D rendering and visual effects, which was later recognized as a strategic success within Indian cinema. One of India's most expensive Indian movies, Indian Rupee, grossed over ₹ 132 crore (US $ 29.3 million). The makers spent on Indian Rupee ₹ 130 crore (US $ 28.86 million) from Indian Rupee ₹ 52 crore (US $ 11.54 million) on marketing budget, which included 9 months of publicity, brand Ta-up, vendors, video games and viral marketing.
Commercially, the film was the third highest grossing film of 2011, the second highest grossing Bollywood film in the world in 2011, and broke the box office record. The film grossed over Rs 208 crore, making it a superhit. After the film, he won numerous awards for his professional / technical prowess, including the 57th National Film Awards, the 57th Filmfare Awards and four International Indian Film Academy Awards.
Purpose-- According to director Anubhav Sinha, "Raan Wan "'s judgment came about when he saw an advertisement on television showing children controlling a human from afar. He was interested in the concept and also wrote a short story based on it.
Did Shah Rukh Khan feel that the film had significant commercial potential? This is a unique example of how to become a superhero and fulfill your "childhood dream" of flying. "I want to make a film that can give me the status quo I've been given for 20 years," he said. He also said that he wanted to make a film dedicated to the father-son relationship, which was "neglected" in Bollywood. Khan's idea was to create a simple family drama that expanded into an action film. He refused to make films in English to increase his appeal to Western audiences. "It simply came to our notice then.

Masters Project
Artistic research:
for inspiration and guidance for my paintings i have looked at some artist that are in the industry but are also similar in there approach to creating environments and can help me refine those initial paintings.
Theo Prins
Currently an artist at ArenaNet where he is a concept artist working on projects such as Guildwars 2.
Above are two paintings that really show his original style for environments that has a lot of energy and visible paint strokes. his initial sketches are created through the use of high contrast of shapes, values and proportions that can look abstract at first. he sates that throughout the entire process he constantly shift back and forth between being very deliberate about placing details and simply letting impulses take charge. this is something I like to replicate in my own work walking that fine line between the fundamentals and gut instinct.
the colors he uses in his work seem to be at stark contrast allowing the background, middle and foreground feel well defined as well as the use of confident shapes. another main point he makes is that concentrating on details sometimes don’t help satisfy the larger composition, its more important to make pleasing relationships between the larger simple shapes that makes the composition. instead of painting in all the detail its better to suggest detail through the use of texture; making the atmosphere of the painting far more important than what is in the painting.
Personally i will use a variety of photos and textures to help suggest the detail and help define the main forms or the composition.
Sebastien Larroude
is a senior concept artist from France and co-founded Steambot Studios in where they work on mainly films and video games for example the new X-men films, Assassin creed and Thief. He started as a 3D artist, moved to matte painting then to 2D concept art you can see this in the 3rd painting down where he merges the 3D spheres and the 2d artwork. but I’m most inspired by the two paintings just below. I feel like the style resonates my own work and the direction it is heading. its not about being clear and precise in details but using soft and lost brush work so the audience can work out the landscape. the use of repetition in the buildings create an order out of the chaos and the readable forms of the cliffs allows the environment to be the focus point. I want to develop my knowledge and use of values as well as rectangle style on the last painting in my out work to make my painting become busy with colour but ordered.
Hugo Puzzuoli
his use of colour is in his work usually using analogous colours and triad colours to make a visually pleasing colour palette. the paintings have a dream- like feel/ surrealism style to the work. which I would like to bring out in my own work.
Thomas Scholes
There was an interesting tutorial by Thomas which I am using with my work to assist with getting values correct. photoshop has an issue when it comes to brightness as a measurement of intensity in RGB pixels which is incorrect. this means that when checking colour values simply desaturating them will make all the colours the same saturation which is correct every colour is a different value of brightness. to correct this:
menu-> view-> proof setup-> device to simulate-> working gray-> OK. then the shortcut Ctrl+Y previews a more accurate value checker. this is so create when wanting to get the values correct within that colour range.
looking at his work the block-y style using rectangles and squares within his forms to create detail and texture is really useful and could be translated over to my own work. it seems like a direct way of building up values and perspective.

Parents, learn 5 ways to film your kids without missing the moment and still be in the frame
Are you afraid that when your kids are older and watch all the videos you’ve recorded of them, they’ll ask… “so where are you in the videos?” If you, like me, want to keep a memory of every single step of your kids development, or want to record the most memorable family holidays and weekends out, then you are with your camera or smartphone ready to shoot.
The problem: you aren’t in any of those videos! Ok, your partner will record some of them and sometimes you’ll take a selfie with your kids and even ask a stranger to take a photo of all of you. But the main problem persists… those moments when you appear are completely staged, you all are looking at the camera. While those moments when you film or photograph your partner and kids feel so natural. That is because they are not looking at the camera and you are recording an actual memorable moment that isn’t staged. It is just as it happened (without you).
Designed by Freepik
It’s not all lost though! This is why you are reading this and I’m about to change the way to capture your memorable moments so you can be in them too.
We must thank technology again for this one. And the following will be a list of gadgets to get to accomplish your mission. Remember, your mission is to capture your family life story as a whole. That means… with you in it! But be aware, the human factor is important too, that’s why the following is also a list of ideas and methods to achieve your goal the right way.
1. Invest in a 360 video camera
360 video refers to videos that capture all the surroundings of the camera. The final product is a video that when is played you can click/tap and drag to see the surroundings. It is an immersive experience.
There are 2 kinds of 360 videos: monoscopic and stereoscopic. We are going with the monoscopic one because the latter requires a major investment, a bigger camera and a headset to watch the product. That’s not practical. Stick to monoscopic.
Now, you will find some cameras for $100 and others for $4000. With that price range is hard to choose. Go for the range between $400 and $1000. Yes, it is expensive but worth it. Experiment with a cheap one if you wish, but the low quality of the final product will push you to get something better.
My favourite camera is without any doubts the GoPro Fusion at around $700. With it you can record 360 videos, take 360 photos, 360 time-lapse videos and very importantly, you can manipulate the footage to produce a normal video.
You need to see this. Here is a 360 video that captures a family visit to a zoo. The father who recorded this just needed to pull-out the camera sometimes, carry it with a stick or place it somewhere on its tripod and push record.
The life-changing event in the video above is that everybody including the person holding the camera are visible (click and drag to see everything). The GoPro Studio also comes with the software to export and edit the videos.
But if you are a bit geekier than that, what about creating a normal looking video out of the footage of the GoPro fusion? Here is an awesome result with the how-to and review from the video maker:
2. Invest in a GorillaPod
Regardless of owning a 360 camera or not, a GorillaPod is an awesome gadget. First of all, you will find lots of similar products. I don’t know how good they are in comparison with the original one. I do know they are a lot cheaper, so feel free to experiment with a low-cost version and jump to the original one which costs around $40.
After getting the GorillaPod, if you are planning to use it with a smartphone, you’ll have to invest in an adaptor like this for some $12:
And if you use any Gopro product you will need an adaptor to place it on top of any standard tripod:
3. Go beyond the average video
So the way recording your memories work is by placing your camera somewhere with a tripod or pulling out the stick with a 360 camera and push record. You don’t need to worry about script or post-production because ultimately you will want to see an unedited version of the memorable moment.
But you can go further than that and explore amazing ways to capture your life story. Here I want to present you my video concept “Around the Table” (in the near future I will dedicate an article about how to make these videos)
“Around the table” started as a way to make travel videos or just to capture some of the places I was visiting with my partner. But when the family unit started to grow it became something much more personal and significative since these videos form a series that shows how my kids grow up and remind us of places we visited.
So get creative, experiment!
4. Learn how to take photos
Learning how to take great photos also teaches you how to create great videos. It is a first step! Photography and video making is a profession and even professionals are constantly learning. So be very realistic, humble and down to earth if you start learning or you will get desperate when you see it takes time to become awesome at it.
For now you want to get the best pictures and footage of your family, right? So just go step by step.
As a start, have a read to the article “40 Tips to Take Better Photos” which offers an overall and generic perspective for anybody willing to develop photographic skills.
40 Tips to Take Better Photos
From there, this is a matter of practicing and practicing and further learning. Before you jump on YouTube and try to make sense of the myriad of resources over there, I recommend you to start with a structured course to build a basis. From there you will feel more confident in picking information from here or there.
Lynda.com is an excellent resource of knowledge. For example, in photography and video, composition is more important than mastering the technology, here is a course on Composition from Lynda.com:
Photography: Advanced Composition by Ben Long
After that… be patient and practice.
And remember 360 video! It has its own tricks and knowing more about the techy stuff, will ultimately make your life easier and therefore you’ll be able to focus in living the moment instead of holding a camera and record it as if you weren’t part of it. Then why not take a course on VR and 360 video production by google in Coursera:
https://www.coursera.org/learn/360-vr-video-production
360 video course by Google DayDream Impact on Coursera
5. Invest in storage
Be aware, if you are going to get involved in 360 video, you are going to generate some massive files. And as soon as you learn more about photography and video, your files will get even bigger.
After all, in video as well as in photography, the bigger the better.
Fortunately, storage space has become very cheap, so go ahead and invest in external hard drives. I recommend storing in many hardrives instead of just one. So if you happen to lose a hard drive, you will lose just part of your memories.
You can have a pile of 1TB or 2TB external hardrives that you fill up slowly. Something like this:
In addition, make use of online storage services. Google offers unlimited photo backup and you can upload as many videos on YouTube as you want and keep them “private” or “unlisted.”
By the way, did I forget to mention that all this comes with the need of owning a computer? Well, I didn’t mention… and the rule applies: the more you learn, the more power you will want to have. No worries, you can still capture your best moments as described above with an average computer.
Hope you enjoyed this. Don’t hesitate to contact me or write your comments below. I’ll love to help with this. As a recent parent, I have discovered how important it is to keep our memories. And being a photographer and video maker in my professional life, I couldn’t leave my personal life unrecorded! So we share the same interests just like anybody else who has kids.
