How did the fairy fountains move. Really. How. Zelda would poke and prod if she wasn’t so concerned with accidentally entering a pact with more ancient spirits. Link might have been able to get away with it, but he’s quite content splashing around in the fountain’s healing waters.

its a learning curve for both of them. Peri will try to get proper communication going between them for now on. Dev is scared that he will loose Peri for real, so he tries to be a bit more open. but its difficult to adjust so arguments are still likely to happen.

AU where Eddie would visit Wayne as a kid every summer and spend most of his time wandering around in the woods covered in mud and twigs looking like a feral child.

Kid!Steve who spent so much time in the woods during summer as a kid cuz his parents didn’t really know what to do with him when he wasn’t at school and didn’t want him making a mess of the house.

Steve who grew up spotting this strange kid in the distance of the tree line running through the woods screaming, speaking in tongues. Literally, thinking that either: 1) the woods were fucking haunted; or 2) it was some type of fae shit his grandma warned him about that for some reason only showed up during the summer

Fast forward to Steve and Eddie all grown up and dating. Steve randomly brings up one day that there used to be a ghost or thing that would haunt the woods during the summer.

At some point Eddie’s eyes ignite with recognition and he starts loosing it.

“Why are you laughing? I swear! It was like this pale ghost kid that would appear out of nowhere and they always looked like they were covering in mud with jet black hair all matted with leaves. And, and sometimes, I could hear it speaking in tongues or something so maybe it was demonic—“

Eddie is laughing harder now.

“I wasn’t speaking in tongues! Oh my god, I was speaking this made-up language I created, or trying to I guess cuz i would just make it up on the spot—completely gibberish. that’s not the point though, but babe, that was me!”

“That was you?!”

“Yes!”

“I thought you didn’t moved here until middle school?”

“Well yeah, I did, but I would stay with Wayne during the summer before that. I used to go to the woods and uh,” Eddie flushes deep red, “pretend I was one of Peter Pan’s lost boys so I would just, camouflage myself by smearing mud all over my face and putting branches in my hair… so Captain Hook wouldn’t find us…”

“Do you know how fucking terrified I was of you? I had literal nightmares about the fucking ‘Ghost’,” he says with finger quotes, “stalking me in the woods or something. I think you almost made me piss myself when you looked right at me once.”

Read a one shot, where Shang Qinghua had to wear a veil for plot reasons. And? My brain started to kick in. The world they live in? Is chock FULL of bullshit Aphrodisiacs. Powders and pollens that are fuck or die. Which? One: what happens if you get hit when NO ONE IS AROUND.

And TWO(‽‽‽): The VERY REAL and tragic reality? Is that NOT everyone who stumbles upon one of those poisons? Is gonna be a hot single in your area. TODDLERS like to wander off and pick up The Pretty Flower™ or Poke The Weird Animal™.

Occasionally there's beading.

From her veils to her inner robes, on out. Using An Ding connections to track down experienced master crafts men, just to trade them her work for some of theirs. Cultivator made Qiankun pouches in sleeves, protections from this and that. Expensive stuff, for an average man. But off course, only the best, for his daughter who is to be wed. And of COURSE, she would supply the materials for him to work with! She understands his time and talent is a valuable thing.

She also sends a wedding gift. Amazing how far being polite and thoughtful can get you. The jewelry is magnificent. Her arrays? Perfectly transcribed. She is a fancy looking TANK and she loves it.

And, yes, as a Disciple, she can only wear so much of her slowly growing hoard of "I AM The Danger apperal". But does that STOP her? Fuck no. Cause what are you gonna do? Police her underwear? Huh? Gonna tell her she can't wear that many underlayers? HUH?

She looks like a gauzy little fairy. Ribbons braided in her hair (they are talisman arrays, each and every one of them). Gauzy three layer veil fluttering delicately in the breeze (it is embroidered within an inch of its life. Hair thin, spider silk, talisman arrays on every millimeter available). Delicate underlayers peaking put at the neck and sleeves, like a flowers bloom (Arrays. It's all coated in arrays. Death to all who would dare, covered by a single over robe).

All topped with tinkling little jewelry.

As in with Nature... the brighter and More Lovely? The higher the chance it'll kill you. Especially in this world. And An Ding colors are bright indeed~☆. She's the Peak Lords lil Cabbage.
