More than 3200 km apart, siblings Mohammad and Malak are trying to sustain their family for the best of their abilities.

Mohammad Al-Najjar is a Palestinian from Deir Al-Balah. He had to leave the Strip & his family to go to Belgium merely 5 days before the war started but his family, consisting of 7 members among them his parents & siblings are still there!

Now he's trying to help his family the best he can but tumblr keeps restricting his account. This is the 3rd one he had to make!! @ilnjjar @ilnajjar @ilnjjar2

It has been 4 months and the goal is still on less than 1000€ !!! And no donations in 22 days!!

The family relayed on their supermarket (Supermarket El-Nakhil 🌴) for income but it has been destroyed due to Israel's constant bombing of civilian infrastructure.

Mohammad has already lost 4 of his friends and many other close relatives and acquaintances. Malak and her siblings are still students and they're struggling to continue their education because of the destruction of schools and low internet connection.

The funds will help the family repair/buy solar cells so they may sustain themselves, since their solar cells have been destroyed and their cost has shot through the roof!!

i'm going to be honest if/when this site goes down i'm not really interested in rebuilding. i'm going to try to archive/export my blog so all my posts don't get lost, and if i do decide to move anywhere i'll definitely make an announcement, but to be perfectly honest tumblr has been a source of stress as much as it has been fun since i started this blog, and while the fun has started to outweigh the stress in the past couple of years or so, i think once it's over i'm done. i'll mourn the loss of another social medium where you can express yourself with, until recently, fairly limited restrictions more or less for free, and the community i've cultivated here, but i think it'll be time to move on and see where i can apply myself next. there's gotta be some place in the world left for sickos like me, and if not then maybe it's up to me to make one.

From the World of Gaming to a Reality of Destruction... My Painful Story

My name is Sohail. Since childhood, I’ve suffered from short feet and foot curvature since birth, but that never stopped me from striving for a normal life and beautiful dreams. 😊 I was deeply passionate about video games, creating my own world amidst challenges. 🎮 I owned a high-spec PC and an MSI gaming laptop, living with my family in our warm home, which embraced our dreams and simple lives. 🏠

But everything changed after October 7th... 💔

Our lives were shattered under the rubble of war. 😔 Our home, which had witnessed our most beautiful memories, was destroyed, and with it, my dreams and my computer — my window into the gaming world. 😢 I managed to grab my laptop as I fled with my family before the house was demolished. 💻 I wished to return safely to our home, but sadly... everything was gone. 🏠

We were displaced more than five times in search of safety, and each time, we left a part of our lives behind. 😓 Today, we are living in an UNRWA school after our most recent displacement, trying to find a glimmer of hope amidst the devastation. 🏫 I now volunteer as a data entry worker at the school, despite all the hardships and pain we carry. 💪

Today, my family and I are resisting pain and destruction, trying to endure despite losing everything. 🥺 I write these words with a heavy heart filled with sorrow and hope — hoping someone will hear our voices and help us rebuild what was destroyed and draw a new life for my family. 🌟 We deserve another chance at life. 🙏

Hello, everyone, I am making this post to bring attention to the campaign of Shimaa. Seek out appropriate resources. This can include support groups (online or offline), helplines, and the like.

If you're in the US, you can call 211 to help you find resources.

Crisis Text Line offers services to the US, Ireland, Canada, and the UK.

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is a US service offers a lot of information for sexual abuse survivors.

The Trevor Lifeline is a service for queer youth in the US.

If you're a minor, you may wish to read How To Escape Abusive Parents: A Guide For Minors.

If you're an adult, you may wish to read How To Escape Abusive Parents: A Guide For Adults.

You might search on Qwant for like something like "resources for people in abuse" or "abuse resources help" or "domestic violence survivors resources".

Ask people for help in finding resources. If you can't find anything on your own, there are other people who know where to direct you. It might take awhile to find what you're looking for, but keep asking.

A WORD OF CAUTION: there are many predatory spiritual groups and conspiracy theorists out there who prey on abuse survivors and mentally ill people. You will often see these people claiming that channeling or hypnosis can help you remember past life memories or repressed traumatic memories. This is nonsense and quackery.

If you're on a website that claims to support cult survivors and you see any of these names in the citations (and make sure you check the citations!), leave immediately - all of these people are far right conspiracy theorists. (Unfortunately, many people today are unwittingly perpetuating the BS of Fritz Springmeier in particular. See this and this for more info on that.)

Change who and what you surround yourself with. Start associating with different people/groups as much as you can. Get hobbies to fill your time. Unfollow blogs that reinforce the beliefs you're trying to get away from, and follow blogs that provide a healthier alternative.

If you're trying to rebuild your worldview without conspiratorial/culty elements, go take a look at my Resources page.

Remember that your first job is looking after yourself. You don't owe the group. You aren't responsible for the group, or for anyone in it. It might feel that way, but it's vitally important to acknowledge when you're unqualified or suffering burnout. You might feel like bad things will happen if you leave, but that's a fear, not a fact.

You also don't have to justify your departure to the group. You can just leave. If you feel that you must give a reason, you can offer something as simple as "I need to take some time to focus on my mental health" or "I'm really busy lately and don't have time to spend here." If they throw a fit over this, that's honestly just more proof that you need to get out.

If any practices the group taught you actually helped, you can keep doing them. If doing affirmations helped you, keep doing affirmations. If listening to so-called healing frequencies actually made you feel better, you don't have to stop listening to them. If you were practicing something like the Law of Assumption, you can carry on with a lot of that under a psychological model rather than Neville Goddard's wacky metaphysical model. (See this video for an example.) If it genuinely helps you and doesn't hurt anyone else, by all means, keep doing it.

Get some critical thinking skills. In order to keep yourself from falling into another bad group, it's important to develop your critical thinking skills.

Learn to apply the Five W's (who, what, when, where, and why) when encountering any information.

Learn common logical fallacies.

Learn the difference between fact, opinion, belief, and prejudice.

Don't equate emotional reactions with some kind of innate or higher moral guidance.

Ask yourself if you're "thinking for yourself" or being led to believe you're thinking for yourself.

Know what emotional manipulation tactics look like.

Watch out for these behaviors in any new group you join.

Yes, there are ways to confirm the age of an old text without having the original text itself.

Learn how propaganda works.

Watch out for these red flags in spiritual groups.

And watch out for this red flag.

Understand that belief doesn't have to be binary.

So yeah, hopefully this'll give folks some actionable advice. I can't promise it's going to help each and every person out there, but hopefully it'll give a lot of you something that will help.

HELP SIRAJ'S FAMILY

I'd like to bring attention to @siraj2024 's campaign, who's had to relocate 6 times! He has 3 young children who now have to live in a tent since their home was destroyed at the beginning of this genocide. He is trying to rebuild his family home, and his first goal is 10k to relocate once again to safety. This campaign has been personally vetted by @nabulsi His campaign is still extremely low on funds, only $7,800 out of his total goal of $82k and still $2,000 dollars away from $10k, his initial milestone. I've been in contact with Siraj over the past several weeks and I implore everyone to go to his blog and circulate his donation posts, or circulate this one, and please donate if you can, even if it's just $5.

Hello everyone! I'm making this post on behalf of @bilal-salah0 who I've been in contact with and whose donation posts I've been sharing frequently lately

Bilal is 22 years old and moved to Germany a few months before October 7th. Since the genocide has started he's been living in fear of the wellbeing of his family, who stayed back in Gaza and have been forcibly displayed countless times due to the bombings. They've also been dealing with food scarcity and risk of health sickness due to the forced starvation of collapse of the health system in Gaza

Because of all this, Bilal started a gofundme to help cover the costs that would help his family evacuate from Gaza, as well as have shelter and get food, clothes and healthcare once they are evacuated. Donations have been slowing down for multiple weeks now, which is why Bilal has asked me to make a post to help spread his campaign

I'm tearing up simply writing this post. Bilal is only one year older than me, and I cannot even begin to imagine how hard it must be to go to sleep every night not knowing if it'll be the last time you'll get to speak to your family, not to mention the horrors his family is going through right now. He had left Gaza in the first place to try to help his family live a stabler life from the outside, but the occupation has made it impossible for him to achieve his initial plans. They had just finished rebuilding their home in Northern Gaza, and it got destroyed once the genocide started. His family members have lost their businesses and they also have many little kids to take care of

Please, please, help share Bilal's fundraiser by reblogging this post or his posts on his blog, or sharing the link to his donation in other places, and please if you are able to donate to his fundraiser to help reach his goal, even the smallest donations can go a long way. How to Watch the Entire Ninjago Series For Free in a completely Legal way!

Hey, I know this isn't usually a Ninjago blog, But I have something cool to show you Ninjago fans. Me and my brother regularly watch Ninjago together and it wasn't until recently I found out that some Ninjago fans are having a hard time watching the full series because of streaming. So I'm going to show you all how me and brother watch the full series completely free! With no illegal downloads or sketchy sites. This could also be helpful for those just getting into the series. First head to Tubi! They have seasons 1 through 7! Everything from the pilots to Hands of Time.

Next, head to Pluto! They have seasons 8 and 9. Sons of Garmadon and Hunted!

Next head to Cartoon Network Asia! Don't be fooled by the title. The episodes ARE in English. They have seasons 10 through 15. March of the Oni, Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitsu: Fire Chapter, Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitsu: Ice Chapter, Prime Empire and Master of the Mountain! Although, a chronological list of the episodes order may by ideal, since a few are out of order on the site.

As for your question, I'm assuming this is sort of talking about what I wrote in this post. Though regardless, the result is relatively the same!

The Batfam would just start the 'reconstruction' process, and begin building the reader's broken mind to their liking. They'll definitely take advantage of this opportunity to make the reader love them, and want to be a part of the family again, among a few other things.

Sure, some of them may have been against it, but at this point, what choice do they have? The reader has lost their mind, and despite being clearly unstable- is still trying to fight back (at least in the post I mentioned), so they all collectively decide that it's for the best. The reader is suffering as they are, they need the Batfam to help them- and so the family is set on doing just that.

Again, they'll rebuild the reader's mind and implement all the little things they want the reader to have. Every trait they think the reader had before they started to 'hate' the Batfam, every interest, every talent, everything.

The Batfam will literally go out of their way to shatter the reader's mind to its smallest parts, just to pick up every part, and make what they want out of it.

It's goes as well as you can imagine for the reader, who's a shell of themself within their own body, and the Batfam gets what they've been wanting ever since they acknowledged the reader. What they've been craving, needing.

As much as they hate seeing the reader lose their mind, and seeing the pain its causing them. The reward for their efforts if greater than any guilt they'd feel.

The ends justify the means, no?
