You had worked for Vox for years, yet you two knew very little of eachother. He had always thought you were more of an attractive employee, but that was the extent of his personal feelings for you.

One day, you came into work with your 4 year old daughter, Amelie. You apologize profusely for having to bring her in and how unprofessional it was. Vox wasn’t a huge fan of kids, however, he didn’t mind too much since you were a good worker and you had promised she wouldn’t leave your side.

Amelie ends up escaping your cubicle unbeknownst to you and stumbles upon Vox’s office. Amelie bothers Vox for a bit and begs him to let her watch cartoons on one of the various moniters he has in his office. Amelie, being a child, rambles about her home life and mother even thought she probably shouldn’t have and certainly said wayy to much. “Do you have dad? I dont.” “My momma is so funny she always worry!” “Why does momma always work so late here?”. Vox pries a bit and finds out about your personal life.

He knew Amelies deadbeat dad wasn’t in the picture, and wasnt paying child support. And well, his workers wages werent great, even if you worked hard and worked overtime. Suddenly, he has an idea.

He invites you out (which shocks you) and cuts right to the chase. He explains his situation, which essentially is just that hes touch starved. He makes an offer, he’ll help you out financially if you have “sessions” with him as he pleases.

This offends you, of course, did he think you were some kind of whore?! You were about to tell him off until he offers you 5k per session. Fuck. You didnt want to do this… But it could help you a ton. You were living paycheck to paycheck and struggling to support you and your child. You reluctantly agree, but set some boundries like no one can find out. Hes definitely fine with that one, hes not too fond of other people knowing.

The first couple sessions are purely transactional, and seeing Amelie light up at the new things you could finally afford made it all worth it. However, as time goes on, the sessions get more passionate and loving. You two start to actually care about eachother and even move in together. For “convience” is the excuse you two came up with.

Amelie pretty much adopts Vox as her new dad, despite him bluntly telling her hes not every time. One night, you get caught up in something (idk) and cant make it home for a session, nor can you take care of Amelie. Begging Vox to babysit her, he finally agrees.

You come home and find Amelie in Vox asleep on the couch, Amelie clutching onto his arm and snoring softly. He had a storybook in his limp hand slumped against Amelies small figure.

Time passes and you three become a little family. A tad dysfunctional but… still, family.

our lineup:

the children: Collei, Wanderer, Klee, Hu Tao, Melusines, Sigewinne, Ganyu, Shenhe, House of the hearth kids

1. sigewinne goes hunting with the hearth kids and they think shes all innocent and everything and they try to hunt a boar for her, and they turn away for 2 seconds to get their bows/guns ready, and when they turn back around, the boar is on the ground with a tranquilizer dart lodged in its jugular

2. wanderer decided to try to scare the kids and pretend to be a bear and make a bunch of noise. this did not work out in his favor, as sigewinne heard him, and next thing you know, you hear this big *thump* and wanderer is on the ground with a dart in his shoulder. nahida then had to keep him on a child leash to make sure he didnt act up anymore

3. hu tao also wanted to scare the kids, but she saw what happened to wanderer, so she decided to stay up in the trees. the kids seemed pretty confused hearing her jump from branch to branch like "are there ghosts in the forest? why are they singing lady gaga songs? are the ghosts gay?"

4. klee goes through her arsenal of bombs, planning to use them to set up a hunting trap, and some of the hearth kids are sitting around her, egging her on to choose the biggest bomb because they think explosions are cool, and jean hears the commotion and tells klee not to use the biggest bomb she has, or else she'll blow up the entire orphanage

5. xianyun is off somewhere tinkering with some new invention or some gadgets and some of the hearth kids are sitting around watching her. freminet joins and at first he sits and watches, but then he starts giving her advice to make the gadgets better, and they start working together on something

6. ganyu and shenhe are in the garden eating grass and flowers and tighnari comes out to get stuff for a side salad and asks them wtf theyre doing. they then help him decide what plants would taste best in a salad

7. speaking of tighnari, he tried to go out with the hearth kids and co. to forage for plants to put in some dishes, but he got too scared of their antics and went back inside to go make his side dishes in peace

8. zhonglis just kind of floating around monologuing about history and osmanthus wine, talking to whoever will listen. nahida drags wanderer (still on his child leash) to go listen to zhongli and he starts whining like "this is boring can we go home"

9. collei, lynette, and the melusines are hanging out in one room, and the melusines braid their hair while collei tells them all about being a trainee forest ranger

10. arlecchino put out refreshments in one of the main areas and a lot of the drinks are just water from different springs (because she knew neuvillette would be there) and neuvillette is chilling out but then arlecchino tries to talk about business. wriothesley then follows her and says "dude we're not here for work, chill out"

11. wriothesley and arlecchino are the ones that grill all the food. one year, the hearth kids got arle an apron that says "kiss the cook" and it came in a package of 3. she put one of them on and wrio was jokingly like "aw wheres my apron" and then she pulls out another one and this man is shocked

12. cyno is one of the people serving the food and he tells dad jokes to all the kids in line. he wont give them the food until they laugh. some people are in line for a while

Big fckn redesigns here. Well mostly Charlie but Vaggie somewhat too 🥰🥰

Blue fits Charlie soooo much and I cease to see that many redesigns with this color. I still want red to be used in most of their designs because well. They are in hell, but not too present so to make way for other unique colors. Charlie has several physical traits from her parents but also she has some details in her clothes that match with them. When I uhh, introduce their designs you'll see lmao. I also tried to make her have a more roundish design, I jst LOVE those typ of designs omg. I just want the characters with not too many sharp corners pls Viv bro... 😔 oh yeah she's mixed cuz her mom's are darker in their redesigns. Alot of their genetics went down to Charlie so she doesn't look like an exact copy of Lucifer, I kind of hate that trend with hh and hb characters, like did the moxxies dad give birth to him bro 😭 also I kept her bow because it looks so cute and silly on her it just fits, I wish they made it bigger in her show design because it would fit her silliness so much. She has a cape with stars because morningSTAR smh why didnt they do something fun with that, missed potential but whatevs yknow I still love og designs no matter what anyone sayss. The wife ever. I had animation in mind more when I designed her, not like in a "How easy or hard would this be to animate" way. But I like to imagine when she's shocked her hair kind of fluffs out plus her actual fluff, when she's mad her bow turns into kind of horns and then her jacket expands like wings. Gave her a more hotel like outfit, she likes to work for fun (ew). Her socks are socks but she has some fluff under them she just tries to cover it up because she hates herself 🤪 (she doesn't hate her bigger body she actually feels much more comfortable chubby than when she was skinny with Adam. She was burdened with the weight of Adam's image of women... In this sorta rewrite she gained weight when she goes to the hotel because she's more happy. I'm dying I love chub Vaggie so much guys please) headcanon: she kind of likes fashion, it's like a fun hobby of hers to stitch together clothing and go out and buy clothes she'll never wear. She taught Charlie how to stitch and she SUCKS so you can jst see it on Charlie's pants.

Second outfits! Charlie's hotel uniform for. Well. Hotel stuff. She usually only wears it when new people come to the hotel, which.... isn't often, if at all. She still likes to keep it just in case. Also she goes really cartoonish when it happens, she does the looney tunes run and changes into her clothes in like 2 seconds. Can you see my vision? 😭😭

Vaggie's is in her armor. She has several pairs of armor lying around in the hotel in completely hidden spots. It's kind of surprising uhh. Yeah she wears it alot more than Charlie wears her alt uniform but still rare to find her in it. I don't get the whole thing with the exterminators and them not being able to fight according to Carmilla. Which is kinda stupid, I'm not gonna lie. So, instead of that, Vaggie has just let her guard down and has gotten much more comfortable in her surroundings so she feels like she doesn't need to fight anymore, she's just gotten rusty 's what I'm sayin. I have no idea how to draw armor. You can tell...

5x01 and Buck and Eddie are already acting like a married couple lmao. But i can understand where the panic attack Eddie had came from. Buck is now just like a concerned husband

5x02 and Clipboard Buck! I love Clipboard Buck! And naturally the way to Buck’s heart is through the kids in his life. He is so precious. And he immediately picked up on Eddie’s panic when Ravi assumed Ana was Eddie’s wife. And then in the firetruck when Buck is talking about the zoo we learn that Buck takes Chris there all the time. Buck is Chris’ dad, and no one can tell me otherwise lol. And Eddie looks so proud. And Bobby is such a dad. Love him. And him and Athena are so cute together

Also, Eddie breaking up with Ana? That scene was also done well. And Eddie acknowledged that he was stringing her along, which is great. Terrible that he did it, but great that he admitted to it

And i just wanna point out that Kenny is such an amazing actor. The emotion he conveys during this whole arc of Maddie leaving is just… whew. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Also, i should have known that Buck knew. I do get Chim’s frustration. The punch shocked me ngl. But, i can see why he did it. I dont think punching was the answer, but like i said. I see why it happened. And naturally Eddie is the one he calls for help the next day. They are husbands your honor

5x05. I LOVE RAVI. “Probie, if you’re gonna vomit do it somewhere else.” “Copy!” *Scurries off.* I love him lmao

And Buck’s panic in 5x06 when he hears the gun shot. He immediately feared that Eddie had been shot again and ran out as fast as he could. And Bobby getting breakfast with Ravi 😭. I love Dad Bobby moments. And speaking of dads, Eddie and Chris 🥹. He loves his kid so much and my heart cant handle it

And Michael wanting to propose to David in 5x08!! The whole montage of the rings and outfits is so funny and i love them so much. And im so happy David said yes!!

The scene in 5x09 where May walks into Bobby and Athena is also fucking hilarious. And Bobby’s little shuffle to the bedroom is just so quirky. And then when he goes “why does this keep happening to you?” Then interrupts Buck and says “No. I’m gonna tell you why.” Bobby is Buck’s dad and i love him so much for it

And later Buck called Eddie out for watching telenovelas and it was so domestic. And Eddie was eating up the drama between Clive and Toni. He just loves it lol. And the episode made me dislike Taylor less. But i really feel like Buck said The Words just cos she did. I dont feel like they were genuine. That might just be me tho

Then in 5x10, Eddie is decorating with Chris and he is just doing as Chris says cos he wants him to be happy and im just melting. This man loves his kid so much and it just makes me so happy. Then Hen’s “baby’s first Christmas” comment to Buck made me chuckle, then I got distracted by the Appa plushie that someone handed Bobby. I love my flying bison sm. And Taylor asked Bobby if Buck would like the sweaters! Everyone knows that Bobby is Buck’s dad! And later Eddie is talking to Buck about Chris’ nightmare. Husbands. They both love their kid so much

Eddie looks so miserable at the beginning of 5x11 ☹️. Baby boy just wants to be fighting fires with his boyfriend. But dinner with Eddie, Chris, Buck, and Taylor kinda surprised me honestly. But ig it makes sense. “You dont need to pretend with me.” Ok. Imma cry now. Thats so sweet wtf. But he misses the 118 and feels left out and i feel for him. Also, drunk Buck is so funny lmao. I can understand that Eddie is frustrated that Bobby isn’t letting him back into the 118 yet, but bringing up Bobby’s past like that was totally uncalled for

Im glad that Buck finally told Taylor about the kiss in 5x13, but i didnt even think about how he was kinda trapping her so she couldnt leave, which is. Not great. But i guess they are wanting to work through it so thats good. But the ending with Eddie’s breakdown made me wanna cry. He is going through so much and he wants to get better but he keeps hitting rough patches. But having Buck there to support him and Chris is so sweet and i love that Buck is willing to have those hard convos with Eddie.

And the breakfast scene in 5x14 with Chris and Eddie? These two have a special place in my heart and i cannot handle it lmao. And of course i type that only for it to be a nightmare 😭. But father figure Bobby also has my heart. And the scene with the heart drawings. So domestic

And Karen in 5x15 is so cute. “To catch a thief!” I love her lmao. And Eddie is learning from therapy! Im so proud of him! And Buck was giving total puppy energy during the wedding call. I love him so much.

And in 5x16 Bobby called May his kid!! Excuse me while i cry. And the Eddie/Linda friendship is just so, idk, refreshing? Idk if that is a good word for it but i really like the idea of him being friends with everyone at dispatch. My boy needs to get out there lol. Josh is also such a flustered homosexual and like. Me too. And Eddie was so ready to be back in firefighter mode. Buck being completely clueless about what to not say to a patient then Eddie just. Shaking his head. And May calls Bobby her dad 😭😭😭

5x17: Buck messing with Chris’ dinosaur while Eddie is packing, man there is just something so domestic about it. And the Chim and Hen friendship is so funny i love it so much. And i just really dislike Taylor. Also i know that we call Buck the golden retriever, but Eddie looked like such a kicked puppy when we was talking to his dad. But im glad they had a conversation and they want to do better

5x18: Im glad to see Eddie acknowledging how bottling things up isnt good, even if its in his joking manner. “I dont have your bone structure. I could never pull it off.” Bro im DEAD. Odyssey AU: what if… Telemachus was late?

It’s not angst I promise!

But this idea has been bouncing around in my head for while and i figured that now that i have tumblr ha finally have place to share it. Enjoy!

In this AU, the majority still happens.

Odysseus still takes 10 years at sea to get home after losing his entire crew, still gets disguised as a beggar, his old nurse still recognizes him and aids him before he goes up to the castle and sees Penelope, you know how it goes.

But, in this version, when Athena tells Telemachus that he should head home, something delays him.

Maybe the king he was talking to was being too hospitable. Maybe Poseidon was still salty with Odysseus and made him take longer. Either way doesn't matter, just know he takes a while longer then normal. But even without Telemachus, Odysseus still beats the suitors and kills them. But what happens next…. :

A servant comes and gets Penelope, who after talking to this 'mysterious beggar,' locked herself away in her room. "Come quickly your highness, someone has defeated all the suitors, they are all dead!'

Penelope rushed out to the main courtyard. (Athena chooses this moment to take off Odysseus beggar disguise. Maybe Aphrodite had something to do with that) Penelope couldn't believe it.

"Odysseus... it's really you..?” She had been suspicious that he was almost home but, she still couldn't believe her eyes. 20 years had done a lot, but it was still clearly him.

When he heard his name Odysseus turned around. It was her. After all this time. He made it. Relief washed over him. "Penelope..”

The couple ran into each others arms. Odysseus spun Penelope around. They both forgot that the rest of the world existed. They look into each others eyes. Odysseus caressed him thumb against her cheek. Penelope moved a strand of hair out of his face. They slowly leaned in until they closed the gap between them. They have been waiting for this moment for 20 years, and they would be damned if anything was going to ruin it.

Meanwhile, Telemachus finally made it home. He walked up to the castle…

Something was wrong. Different. It was quiet. Too quiet. “Where are the suitors?” Telemachus asked the guards.

“We heard quite a lot of fighting inside the courtyard.” Telemachus looked shocked. The guard tried to defend himself. “ we don’t move from our posts out here unless we are called. Our jobs are to look out-“ Telemachus didn’t let him finish his explaination. He ran inside.

Where’s mom?! What if she’s hurt? What if the suitors got fed up with waiting? What if-

Telemachus was thrown off by the shear amount of bodies scattered through the hallways. He didnt care that the suitors are dead, but who did this? And where was mom?

Perspective is a funny thing. When Telemachus enters the courtyard, he couldn’t she his mothers expression. He didn’t see the happy reunion that had just occured. He didn’t see that this man holding his mom wasn’t hurting her. All he saw was that this- this STRANGER was touching his mom. Enough was enough. Telemachus was done letting these suitors walk all over him.

It all happened so fast. In the matter of seconds Telemachus ripped his dad this stranger off of Penelope and pinned him to the ground. Telemachus pulled out his dagger and held him at knife point. “Get away from her.” He growled.

Odysseus was a bit more than peeved. After 20 years of blood and tears shed to get to this moment, being interrupted and held back by the gods themselves was getting REALLY old. “Excuse who are you to-“

“I am Telemachus, son of Penelope, heir to the Ithacan throne, I demand to know WHO you are before I slit your throat for trespassing.”

Penelope snapped out of her state of shock. “Telemachus wait there’s a-“ Odysseus signals her to stop. Penelope looks at her husband quizzically. Ody softened upon realizing who this boy was. (Boy is a loose term, hes roughly like 20-)

“I am Odysseus, husband to Penelope, the reigning king of Ithaca… and your father.” Telemachus is taken aback. “Hi, son.”

Telemachus looks to his mother for reassurance. Her warm, geneuine smile was all he needed. No...No! You're probably wondering how y/n got in this situation...well, she may have done some things that she probably shouldnt have while at a party, and one thing led to another. Y/n is currently sitting on her bathroom floor, four positive pregnancy tests scattered across the tiles, one in her hand. I'm only fourteen! What the fuck will people think...what will my dads think?! Those were the thoughts that were stuck in her mind. She had been raised to be shameless, as a gallagher-milkovich but her fear of judgement was creeping in.

She heard the door to their two-bedroom apartment slam open, the loud footsteps of her dads banging through the living room. they mustn't have known she was home...how could they? she was supposed to be at school right now...but this is more important! she listens through the locked door as her dads sit down on the couch, sighing as she leans back, contemplating how fucking stupid she could be, to have sex, let alone unprotected sex at 14?!

y/n's body tensed as she heard mickeys heavy footsteps stride towards the bathroom door, scuttling around trying to shove the pregnancy tests in the laundry basket. she goes over to the sink and runs her hands under the water, wiping her smudged makeup off of her face.

she then hears her dad toying with the door knob, before yelling "who the fuck is in there?!". she panics, turning the water off and yelling back "it's just me dad!". she unlocks the door, straightening out her shirt and greeting her dad. "what the fuck are you doing home?" he asks, surprised to see his daughter home so early. "oh, my teacher was being a dickhead and sent me out of class so i left, didnt think you'd mind is all". she says, looking up at him. "you know i dont, but your dad will be pissed when he sees you home early, just a warning", mickey says before ruffling her hair and pushing her out of the bathroom, closing and locking the door behind him.

she runs to her room, shutting the door behind her and flopping on her bed, completely mortified at what was going on. her heart drops when she hears an angered, confused mickey yell "WHAT THE FUCK ARE THESE?!". at this point she was hoping that he had found her vapes or something, anything could be better than this, but she knew what he had found.

"What is it?" Ian yelled from the other side of the apartment, prompting y/n to slowly walk towards the bathroom. you could imagine her surprise when she sees an angered mickey standing infront of her, striding towards her rapidly holding, cornering her while holding 5 positive pregnancy tests. "are these fucken yours???" he yelled at her. she immediately broke into tears again, the stress mixed with hormones letting all of her pent up emotions out. mickey stands his ground, until he feels ian pull at his shoulder roughly, forcing him to stumble back. y/n cowers into the corner, not prepared to argue with mickey and ian. mickey looks down at her, being held by ian. "fuck...y/n..." mickey says, regretting how angry he had been.

he then remembered that shes only 14, she is going through so many emotions right now, and that his anger can wait. he slowly walks back towards her, as she backs away from him slowly. then, to her surprise she feels him envelope her in a hug, wrapping his strong arms around her shoulders, kissing her forehead. she leans into him, relatively in shock about what is happening.

basically, its a “kukui has a kid but he didnt know about said kid because it was a teenage pregnancy resulting from a whirlwind of events one wild party ago” and yes i had to make an oc for this.

but anyway. years ago, he’d gone to a party with a group of friends. it was a wild ass party (with drugs and alcohol absolutely involved) he managed to stay clean and sober, but one friend, whose name is Marigold bcs idk. decided that was her name, wasn’t, and was getting really handsy. so, just to appease her, he let his guard down, yk, doijg that dumb thing where you go “its just one time, how bad can it be!” weeks later, he’s standing in his bedroom, shocked and sad and lots of feelings and feeling absolutely disgusting when she told him that she was pregnant. and she wasn’t going to abort it, either (pro-lifer)

so cut to about 15 years later. Carlos, The Baby™️, 15 years old and just having moved to Alola from Paldea, broke, and essentially living in the forest for a good few months. his team is small, weak, and he’s underweight and very, very tired.

Kukui, now 27-28 and having pushed off the guilt that he didn’t help her or try to help her finds this underweight kid, struggling, and decides to help him.

over the course of a couple months, Kukui helps Carlos get to a healthier weight, yk just. takes care of the kid without knowing that that’s his kid. and one night after Carlos startles awake from a nightmare and goes to Kukui for comfort, they end up talking about the kid’s dad.

Carlos only has one picture of his dad, and Kukui nearly throws up when he sees it. it’s a little folded up photo, with his mother’s face folded behind and taped so it’s not visible on first look. But yeah. It’s a picture of teenage Kukui and Marigold. Right before she had the kid. ALSO. Kukui has brown eyes with green in them. Carlos has green eyes. And Marigold did, too. Carlos has his mother’s eyes. So even before this, Kukui had this nagging feeling that those eyes were familiar.

one of these days im going to write about one of my httyd ocs (who will probably never be in my fics, just my head and posts) whose married to dagur but fled beserker island after he was imprisoned (because there was a plot against her life by other beserkers who wanted power - and she's neither a fighter nor a beserker, so they wanted her out)

and then he goes to find her after his redemption arc. and its very shocking to her because he's so different yet so similar. they did fall in love when they were married, though they didn't choose each other, and dagur was...well...dagur, so the marriage was very turbulent.

im very into a certain scene between them that i replay in my head every once in a while in which dagur is trying to convince her to come back to beserker island with him (along with their young son, who was conceived just before dagur was imprisoned) and while she does genuinely want to reunite with him (especially now that he's a noticeably better person) a lot of her motivation is just based in understanding that if she doesn't go back, her son's life might be at risk if dagur has heirs with anyone else and their supporters see their son as a threat.

and dagur gets all sad and says something like "i don't want you to come with me because you're afraid - I want you to come with me because you love me" and he's extremely sad puppy about it and rests his head on her shoulder aghhh

also a scene where dagur meets his son for the first time (and his kid is like...3...4? timelines?? ehh??) and his kid is kinda scared of him because he's big and loud. and his wife tells him not to worry because his son is always shy around new people (because he's a toddler) but dagur takes it very hard and tries to be as gentle as possible around his son until he feels more comfortable and playful with his dad

and then once his kid opens up to him he's tossing him up in the air and chasing him around

hiccup and heather come along to help dagur find her and are both extremely shocked that he was married and never told either of them - he didn't because he didn't know whether or not she was alive and didn't know how to talk about it until he worked up the courage to go look for her

and after becoming aware of the sort of person he used to be, he also didnt know if she would want to see him again

and she kind of didn't want to at first because she assumed he was either there to take her to beserker island against her will or that he was going to be angry with her for leaving. so she kind of brandished knife at him the first time she saw him again

i have suffered. i have received unspeakable brain trauma. i have read sentences that i simply cannot unread. that's right, it's time for my chaotic review of verity by colleen hoover!

now i wrote an actual, proper review of this book that used paragraphs and real grammar, but this is tumblr. you're getting the bullet points, you're getting the sweary words, you're getting the dissolution of my sanity.

there's a lot of graphic and disturbing content in this book, so if you're bothered by that kind of thing, it might be best not to read.

the plot:

so our narrator, lowen ashleiggghghghg, is hired by this guy jeremy crawford to finish his wife verity's thriller book series bcus verity was in a car accident and is now profoundly disabled (can't move, can't talk, needs regular care, etc.)

she needs verity's notes and somehow ends up living in verity's house so she can spend literally all day going through verity's office. the only believable part of this is that a writer could be so disorganised that you'd need full days to try and go through all of their stuff

for some context, jeremy is apparently brooding (though i see like, 0 evidence of this) over his wife's accident as well as the deaths of his twin daughters chastin and harper

in verity's office, lowen finds a manuscript that looks like it's verity's autobiography

verity's autobiography starts as overly detailed jeremy smut and oh my fucking god i mean overly detailed i wish i could GOUGE my fucking EYES out this is just BAD PORN this book is like 90% porn 10% no-plot

anyway as this autobiography goes on, lowen is like. holy shit. verity is cuckoo bananas. she is OBSESSED with jeremy. she does that patrick star thing of "what do you when i'm at work all day?" "wait for you to get back :(". she wants to be jezza's ONLY focus and resents her daughters for taking his focus away

like, she tries to plan out her pregnancy so that she'll gain as little weight as possible, but then she finds out they're twins and she's like omg im RUINED and tries to miscarry and abort them

after they're born, she has a premonition of her daughter harper killing her other daughter, chastin (the only daughter she likes, verity fucking hates her kids but randomly starts loving chastin). chastin does in fact die of anaphylactic shock when she's around 8 and verity blames harper

jeremy won't fuck verity because he's so sad about his daughter's death, and verity is not having this, but through some twisted logic she's like maybe he'll be all out of grief if another daughter dies! so she kills harper and stages it as a canoe accident

back to lowen, she's reading this autobiography at an absolute snail's pace (like 1 short chapter a day) while also living with Hot Dad Jeremy (she's into him, especially after reading all that Jeremy Porn), this is most of the book tbh . a series of weird things happen that convince her that verity is faking her disability

lowen is also 100% convinced that verity is PURE FUCKING EVIL from this autobiography

fast forward, jeremy and lowen hook up (surprised pikachu face)

and yes, verity was faking being disabled, where is her OSCAR for that METHOD ACTING that fooled the HOSPITAL the NURSES for MONTHS!!! she didnt even flinch when lowen tried to startle her by literally throwing something across the room. daniel day-lewis is SHAKING

lowen shows jeremy the autobiography and jeremy starts choking verity

lowen is like, stop! they'll know u did it! think of ur son, he'll be fatherless!

actually you should kill him by making her puke instead so they'll think she just aspirated on her own vomit ;)

so jeremy does that instead because that's totally the most sensible option to do in this particular scenario

7 month timeskip and all is great because EVIL verity is DEAD and now lowen and jeremy can be together forever and they even have a new baby on the way bcus jeremy came inside her no condom and apparently every woman in this book is insanely fertile and gets pregnant on the first try

TWIST TIME!!!

they go back to verity and jeremy's house to finish clearing out their stuff

but... lowen finds a note in verity's room...

verity claims that the autobiography was just a writing example to help her write from an antagonistic perspective (her thriller series is notably written from the villain's POV)

jeremy found the autobiography and tried to choke verity to death, but when that failed, he set up her car accident, after which verity decided she had to fake being disabled so she could run away with their living son crew and eventually explain everything

but this plan is an F bcus shes fuckin dead now isnt she

so much effort and for WHAT

the book leaves us with the fucking stupid dry ass cliché question of: WHICH WAS THE REAL VERITY? WHAT WERE THE LIES? WAS THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY REAL OR NOT? and actually i dont give a flying fuck i was just glad to be done

my thoughts

the characters in the book make the most ridiculous and nonsensical decisions and trust me i can say that for sure bcus i have never made a good decision in my life

in the opening chapters, lowen witnesses a car accident & is splattered with blood on the way to her publisher meeting

she encounters jeremy (tho she doesnt know who he is yet) and he takes her to the men's bathroom of a coffee shop to get cleaned up

lowen tAKES HER SHIRT OFF IN FRONT OF THIS ABSOLUTE STRANGER

i am trying to ignore this red flag maybe shes just confident

jeremy proceeds to lock the door to the men's bathroom so that no one else can come in, and lowen finds this comforting! how chivalrous of mr sexy man jeremy!

WHAT THE FUCK LOWEN? HOW IS THIS COMFORTING? I'D BE FUCKING. I'D BE PANICKING SO BAD I'D BE OUT THE DOOR

later in the book we find out that lowen has a chronic sleepwalking problem and can even open inside locks when she's sleepwalking

she broke her wrist sleepwalking when she was a kid so it's not really safe for her to be able to get out and about while sleepwalking

jeremy offers to install a lock on the outside of lowen's bedroom door, so that she can't leave her bedroom without him opening the outside lock for her

instead of finding this FUCKING TERRIFYING

she's Thrilled by his generosity! wow! isn;t jeremy so kind and thoughtful?

lucky for her jeremy is apparently a nice guy so jeremy's fucking weird actions are glossed over and theyre so nice arent they... haha...

dude i wanna know what the fuck jeremy has that women are literally OBSESSED with him. hes so bland. he has no personality. he's a cardboard cutout of a man but apparently he has good dick idk

lowen is so besotted with jeremy that she doesnt think it's bad that he tried to kill his wife twice and then succeeded on the third try

no! it's actually so sweet because it proves how much of a dedicated father he is! he thinks verity killed harper so by killing her he's just being such a good and protective dad haha! murder is okay

there was also just way too much sex in this book like i said it before but truly i cannot encapsulate how much of this book was sex. and in case u were wondering about the quality of the sex, 50 shades author EL james is in the acknowledgements of this book.

how are people giving this book 5 stars? it's fucking. it's laughably bad. the plot is so stupid. the characters are boring. no-one makes a single good decision. jeremy is white bread. it's like, really really bad. i really need to know if the straights giving this book 5 stars need help, therapy, or jesus. if u do, please blink SOS in morse code, i will come and get u.

we got one (1) soundwin scene and a lot of crumbs 

it honestly felt like we got more tiwpor than we did soundwin, which is awesome bc tiwpor deserve their time to shine, but also soundwin are killing me and ive been waiting for the flirting all week and all we got was a cheek-pinch and that’s about it 

and the 3/4 part of the episode had basically ZERO SOUNDWIN?? which never happens????? 

AND GUN’S FREAKING MOTHER HAS A FREAKING TUMOUR AND POOR TRAUMATISED GUN SPENDS THIS EPISODE FREAKING OUT AND HIDING BEHIND TRAUMA WALLS AND I SWEAR IF THEY MAKE HIM AN ORPHAN IM GONNA GO TO THAILAND JUST TO SLAP WHOEVER DECIDED THAT

THEY MADE IT INTENTIONALLY AMBIGUOUS SO WE HAVE NO FREAKING CLUE WHAT’S GONNA BLOODY HAPPEN 

however i do see tiwpor standing alone in a stairwell and por tripping down the stairs and tiw being super worried so TIWPOR NEXT EPISODE??? but also 'im being punished because i forgot to redeem my wish' WHAT DOES THAT MEAN i mean i know it's probably referring to when they made wishes to the buddha statue in episode 9, but what does he mean 'redeem my wish'? and what was his wish? did he wish for what everyone thought they were each wishing for (to win hot wave)? or did he wish for something to do with tiw? and does ‘redeem my wish’ mean his wish didnt come true, and he needs to apologise for some reason (it’s 1:30 in the morning i cant think of a reason rn man), or does it mean his wish did come true and he forgot to thank the buddha/make sure the wish continued by going back to the buddha? (also i very much hope im using the right word for the statue they wished/prayed to in episode 9, i know next to nothing about buddhism so someone pls correct me if im using the wrong terms and stuff) 

and i think they're trekking back up to the buddha statue, cos it looks like the same place, but on the way there por gets really thirsty but they cant drink them cos those are their offerings? and also if you look closely on the trekk up there's win and por and yo travelling together to support yo, but win is using the crutches, and behind them you can see pat walking with his arm around sound for support???? 

and then an argument arises in the group (more specifically: between win and pat, which is very not predictable at all???? like win id expect but why pat??)

and gun didnt wish for them to win hot wave, he just wanted them to not be disappointed for being in the club. and then they have a group hug.

and then tinn says "so that means you and i..." and seems to be leaning in for a kiss and then the preview ends?????

im getting mixed messages, i have so many freaking questions, HOW DO WE WAIT A WEEK FOR THIS???? 

also im feeling like not all my questions will be answered, cos there’s literally two episodes left (how did it go by so fast???) 

anyway, those are my thoughts. uh. yeah. idk how to feel about this ep. it made me cry a lot. yeah.

This one got a little disturbing honestly—

So the dream started with me and mom at the grocery store, buying food n stuff the usual, and then there’s these 2 creepy men behind us, one old man that kinda resembles the guy in the wheelchair from Detroit Become Human and another guy that’s taller than him and looks like,,, the tall dude in the brown shirt from Everybody Loves Raymond???

I could feel that their intentions were weird as they were following us, and then,,, the old man grabs the back of my right thigh (UH??? HEY DREAM GOD???) and I sharp turn back towards them shocked and scared and then they both smile and look at eachother (WHAT THE HELL???) so me and mom check out at some point, the 2 creeps leave the store after us (WITH NO SEEN GROCERIES IN HAND) and as I’m walking with her I’m holding on to her arm and I say “I hope they die” and she says something along the lines of “me too, we just gotta wait” (WAIT FOR WHAT???)

The segment after that one takes place in a huge park at night time, resembling this one area of Central Park I remember me and dad would walk through to leave, except this version was a bunch of hills and a single paved walkway going up and down said hills, with a few trees here and there, and the only thing to light the way were a few sparsely placed lampposts

And me and mom are walking down the walkway, and she randomly just starts BOOKING IT on the near endless walkway, I turn around to see if something scared her and it’s the old man from the first segment, alone, smiling, walking lazily as if he’s drunk (what is with drunk people being disturbances in my dreams—) I start running with her because I’m assuming her running and saying nothing was her attempt to get me running too without trying to scare me, but since this is a dream, I can barely run. so I keep picking up speed and slowing back down saying “I’m tired” or “my legs hurt” (I DONT KNOW WHY YOU DIDNT GRAB MY HAND OR STOP FOR ME THAT WOULDVE BEEN REALLY HELPFUL—)

And then after THAT segment, third and final one: it cuts to me and some other tween to teen girls in what looks like a tree house and it’s nighttime outside (and outside looks like the nighttime park for some reason) and we’re in a Magical Doremi fan club! But the version of Magical Doremi is way different, and we’re talking about some arc in it that basically goes like the story of me and mom in the nighttime park (that’s what I’m calling it now) but features little Doremi and her mom, who for some reason looks like an older version of Doremi’s little sister Pop, and in here apparently Doremi’s mom is named Jelly

But, instead of Jelly running away from the stalker without Doremi holding her hand, Jelly picks up Doremi and books it with her in her hands, kinda holding her like a baby as Doremi is a toddler here

And there’s also this part of the arc having to do with time travel and Doremi going back in time to see someone or something happen, and she finds out that the cancer patient witchling is Doremi’s grandma aka Jelly’s mom, and in this version of Magical Doremi, the cancer patient witchling either didn’t have cancer at all and was just bald, or the cancer was cured through magic, and her name here for some reason is Christian (I love when dreams change around names regardless of whether I can remember the name or not lol)

And then I wake up, for some reason immediately thinking of wanting to reconcile with my mom (I never did—)

I think my dreams are trying to tell me something... 🤔

"I don't believe that for a moment! You know what time drew does anything, now way you mixed up the days" hunter scoffs.

Leon glares at the older man. "Okay, I was helping alexa prepare? Alright. Is it so big of a deal?" Leon asks. "God I love when someone catches you out on a lie" cassie smirks. Leon flips her off. Shawn goes to speak when his whole body freezes. Something felt off. But the sound of a bike? That wasn't right. No..no chimes? A bike? Leon smiles softly as shawns eyes widen. He turns too the tv. "Hes back?" Shawn whispers. Cassie stands in shock. "Surprise. I was helping dad." Leon admits. "Dad human again? How?" Cassie asks. Leon looks at her. "I worked some magic and have been facing some side effects since. Which is why I've been in hiding." Leon admits. Shawn looks at his son. That's when he spots the faint purple glow coming from his torso. "That'll wear off...eventually...I hope" Leon mutters.

"I reckon that'll be a fan favourite. Until drew kicks ass tomorrow" Leon smirks. "Oh please, when rhea kicks ass tomorrow" cassie scoffs. "I did enjoy the look of fear on Leon's face when the hooded people turned up" hunter smirks. "Thats not funny, I worked way too hard to turn him human again." Leon frowns as he slips his jacket on. The three pause to see Shawn still staring at the blank screen. He hasn't really spoke since the match started. "Papa?" Cassie asks.

The world around Shawn is fuzzy. All he can hear is his heart racing. He can't wipe the stupid smile off his face. They never thought it'd be possible. And yet..there he was. "Baby boy?" A voice cuts through the blur. Shawn looks at the reflection in the tv. Reflection. Something he didnt see anymore. He turns and meets the green eyes. "Welcome back" Shawn whispers. Taker smiles softly and cups his face. "Im free now" he whispers. "No more hiding or running." He adds stepping closer. Shawn wraps his arms around takers neck and pulls him closer. Taker chuckles slightly and wraps his arms around shawns waist. Shawn presses his ear against takers chest and just listens to the sound of his heart.

"God I missed that sound." Shawn whispers. Taker doesn't say anything. He just smiles and closes his eyes.

"Cmon..let's leave them" Leon whispers. Hunter, who will deny it later, smiles softly at the pair and nods. Cassie takes a sneaky pic before following the others out.

She was glad to see her parents so happy and relaxed again.
