How did your muse spend their first night in Arcadia, and where?

Picture this:  a frightened girl running through the town in a sequined red prom dress muddied from the bottom and bleeding from a gash in her chest, and from somewhere beyond her hairline. The sash and crown naming her Prom Queen were dirty and dotted with bloodstains. There’s been a car crash, she said. After the tree, just at the edge of the woods. Nevermind that here the sun was just setting when before, it had already been nightfall. It took an older woman, around her mom’s age, to calm her down and bring her something to eat and drink at the diner.

At that point, though, the doors were locked and there was nothing that could be done to save him. He was injured, and at the mercy of Them. Valentina screeched and cried, demanding they help him when she looked out the window and saw him - his corpse, rather, missing a leg and being dragged through the streets. The thing holding onto him locked eyes with her through the window, smiled, and Valentina had mercifully fainted from shock.

Why did your muse choose to live where they do?

When she first got here, she foolishly believed that They were abominations of some unholy order, and believed the church would give refuge. Sure, she sinned a bit, and hadn’t been to church in a long time… but she had to be safe if she found safety in a holy place, right? The longer time went on, she found that wasn’t the case, and ended up still returning to her self centered anyway.

If there really was a god, what the hell was he doing trapping her in a place like this?

An unused rectory became something of a refuge for her, hidden by various fabrics and cloths she had found over her decade-long tenure in Arcadia, a home-office of sorts for those that needed a quick stitch.

What was your muse doing when they came across the tree?

Drinking and driving - well, she wasn’t driving. But her boyfriend was, and they had just left a successful prom to go to a secluded vacation home, farther from LA, up in Paradise Springs where a few of them and their friends decided to go for a prom weekend. They left earlier, wanting a head start, and were trading a bottle of champagne back and forth in the BMW. She never noticed the tree, but the when the woods became thicker, and the roads more winding, that she realized there was a problem into the car went careening off the road, injuring the both of them in the crash.

Has your muse left anything behind that they are desperately trying to return to or escape?

Yeah, everything. Valentina was ready to head for the Fashion Institute of Technology, to make a name for herself in her own right. Everyone she knew from LA was doing something in movies, all wannabe nepo-actors, but she held herself to a far higher standards than the rest of those people. Although it was a great place to grow up in, she didn’t want to be stuck in her childhood hometown forever; what a waste.

Now that she’s gone though, she misses everything about it - the beaches, the shopping malls, the bright sun through the palm trees. And she misses the life that she could have had, the one she knows she actually deserves.

The Mysterious Lana Del Rey

     The first time I heard the name Lana Del Rey was in 2012 when she was the scheduled musical guest on Saturday Night Live. I’m not sure why I had the show on that night because I stopped watching SNL at least 20 years earlier. In any case, Lana appeared, I watched, and wasn’t quite sure what I’d just seen. I didn’t give it much thought, and might’ve forgotten the episode entirely had I not watched the NBC Nightly News a night or two later, and they did a short piece about her appearance questioning whether or not her performance was really as amateurish as it seemed, or if she was putting everyone on. They never really answered the question, and I moved on.

     Fast forward to 2014. I saw a review of Del Rey’s newest album Ultraviolence, and the critic took issue with her lyrics, found them offensive, and condemned the album. All I remember thinking was that she was obviously one of those artists who courts controversy – whether by accident or by design I didn’t know. But at any given time, my musical cup runneth over with so much to listen to that the Lana Del Rey card in my deck got put back into the middle, and was lost in the reshuffle.

     New albums came and went. I usually saw ads, and took notice of them because Lana Del Rey is quite beautiful, and every time I saw her, she had an entirely different look. I had no idea what any of that had to do with her music, and I decided it might take too much effort on my part to find out.

      I spent a great deal of time in 2024 listening to music I hadn’t listened to in ages from my own collection. And I augmented that with countless visits to YouTube to explore music I’d missed that I always wanted to hear, as well as music I had heard once or twice, and liked, but had never revisited for one reason or another. Literally, I was listening to something different every day for a while, and much of it was brand new or barely familiar to me. It was overload, honestly, but I couldn’t seem to stop. (Much of this is detailed in a piece I posted here a couple of months ago titled How I Spent My Summer Vacation. It’s in the archive if you’re interested.)

     While all this was going on, I was afflicted with Swiftie fever, and my musical world was turned upside down when I heard Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology. An instant obsession with that record turned into a summer spent collecting Swift’s entire catalog – none of which I owned, and very little of which I’d ever heard. After I’d managed to hear all of her back catalog at least twice, the fog began to lift, and I resumed searching for more new music. And there in the notes to Taylor Swift’s Midnights album was a song titled “Snow on the Beach” that featured a guest spot from none other than Lana Del Rey. Okay. That was a sign. It was time to see what I’d missed. After all, you can only bump in to the same person so many times before you're compelled to say 'hello.'

     The bios of Lana I read were all over the place. No two were alike, and it was clear no one really seemed to have a handle on her. But her Wikipedia entry was at least coherent. She certainly didn’t look to be 39 years old, and I had no idea that between her 2008 debut under the name Lana Del Ray (pulled from the market, and buried somewhere in middle Earth), and 2023’s Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Boulevard, Del Rey had released 8 more records in just 11 years. That’s a lot of music. But where to start? Not the beginning. That had been erased. So, I visited the AllMusic Guide online, and began reading reviews. I started with her latest record, followed it with Norman Fucking Rockwell (which had gotten a rave review), and then went to 2021’s Blue Bannisters, and worked backward to her 2012 rebirth as Lana Del Rey titled Born to Die (not the most optimistic title for a debut record).

     All these months later, I’ve listened to the whole catalog, and it’s clear to me that Del Rey’s music is far too complex, and layered for casual listening. I created eight separate playlists in my iTunes program so that I could deep dive into each album with earbuds in, and really get to know them. On first listen to her body of work, my take is that she’s someone who has re-invented herself. (She was born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant – I, myself, am no stranger to a name change. My name is not the one I was given at birth either, but the choice to change it was not mine.) She seems to have decided to re-create the world around her – make her own reality, and then actually live in it. Some artists (David Bowie, for instance), simply swap personas and looks for theatrical purposes in order to keep their careers fresh for themselves and the audience. But Del Rey appears to have become who she wanted to become, and fashioned her own world – based on a vision of an America that no longer exists but which can be found in the pages of magazines published between 1950, and 1980 - and that’s what she writes about. What she wears seems to reflect the music, but she seems to change her look the way some people change hats or hairstyles. And none of it seems contrived, or planned (though it may be). I think when the mood strikes her, she goes with it, and doesn’t feel the need to explain herself. If politics is the art of controlling your environment, she is a master. Taylor Swift never seems to be photographed looking less than perfectly coiffed, and styled. Lana Del Rey often is seen in public dressed the way most people dress to go to the grocery, or to a bowling alley. There’s a disheveled quality to it that is very down-to-Earth, and easy to relate to.

     The music itself is lush, and layered, and wears complexity on its sleeve. Each song plays like a scene from a low budget, independent film. And you’re left to piece the scenes together to create a narrative. But the order is random, and the impression you got from the first listen might radically shift with each new hearing. Sorting it out reminds me of watching a very complex mystery film with a convoluted plot. You think there will be a resolution at the end, but the credits might roll leaving you with more questions than answers. So, you keep coming back for more.

     I expect to spend a lot of time with Lana Del Rey’s music in 2025. I’ve read she has a new album scheduled for release in May titled The Right Person Will Stay. And that’ll be a “must hear” for me as well.

     I understand she was married this past September, and with so much work already behind her, I wonder if maybe I’ve come to her music closer to the end rather than somewhere in the middle. I guess time will tell.

     First impressions with an artist like Lana Del Rey might be meaningless. She’s liable to turn them upside down. But as of today, the work that impressed me most is Norman Fucking Rockwell. After just a couple of listens, I think it’s one of the best albums of this century (which is almost a quarter over now). Born To Die: The Paradise Edition is nearly as impressive. Did You Know There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Boulevard, and Ultraviolence are not far behind. Lana Del Rey is a major talent. But, I’m not certain I want to ever understand her completely. A little mystery is always alluring, and it keeps boredom at bay. And I’d bet she’s well aware of that.

But En knew she was destined for a life that was just more than normal. Though while this is mainly solved and is making progress of keeping in touch with people she cares and trusts enough, the habit is still there. She also has the habit of apologizing when there's no need to and also thinking that she's invincible but not to the point of tomfoolery especially when it comes to dangerous or high-risk situations but rather, this manifests as mostly in completely mundane things such as her sleeping and eating habits. She also has this internalized vindictiveness to her that sometimes shows itself from time to time but this is regulated.

She also has this habit of offering sage advice to people but never follows her own advice, thus calling herself as a 'walking contradiction' due to this, she also developed this habit of taking care of others, making sure their needs are well met and forgets about her own, sometimes her 'mother hen' like habits can be smothering but manages to keep it on the low. Despite of her flaws, she is currently working through these issues to the best of her abilities.

History: Heroes is a close-range/long-range natural humanoid stand of En Flores who possesses a range of abilities focused on air/weather related abilities. Though she’s been with the user from the beginning, Heroes makes her first physical appearance to a young En at the age of 16 after the latter had experience a bout of strong emotions, most particularly emotional distress over something that happened during En’s time as a Junior High student (which, funnily enough, happens to be En stressing over her History test) and has been with her ever since.

Personality: Noted by some of En's friends and enemies alike, Heroes, while seemingly looking like as if she has no innate personality due to her stoic disposition, has shown bouts of intense protectiveness over her user, En and by extension, those who En holds dear to her heart, mirroring the user's mother bear habits. While it's not very obvious to some, Heroes seems to sometimes have a separate consciousness from her user and has been noted to have mannerisms similar to that of a curious owl or a playful and mischievous feline at times.

In battle, she remains as composed as she is in general, barely showing any emotion unless En herself feels a strong bout of them, which Heroes would mirror. Another thing that not most people know much about is that Heroes can speak for herself but instead of a normal voice, those who aren't close with En get to hear the sound of every storm, howling winds, and blizzards and a banshee's* *combined but En understands her perfectly. However when a connection is formed, Heroes' voice becomes crystal clear, speaking in a voice that's similar to her user's but much more ethereal, airy and echoey with the hints of the previous sounds and her way of speaking is mentioned to be very polite and smart.

Physical Description: Heroes is a humanoid Stand of a feminine figure, resembling its user in some of its proportions. Often characterized by its free flowing golden locks tipped with silver, blue winged helmet-like mask with the Christian cross in the middle, obscuring its eyes and the upper half of its face, and pale silver skin and the motif that its sporting being a notable mix of a valkyrie, a ballerina, and Elizibethan fashion judging from its collar and overskirt.

The lower part of its face has these distinctive markings of two vertical lines across its eyes and a half circle under its lower lip which are painted gold.

Heroes wears a body suit of gold and blue with two elongated hexagonal shapes at the sides of its hips, a tear drop shape opening right over where its belly button should be, and multiple lines sewn onto it finished by the feathered blue Medici styled collar and overskirt detailed with thin, golden tendrils of pure lightning; it also wears knee-high boots where the kneepads baring some sort of resemblance to the frangipani flower, african violets, strawberry blossoms, and marsh marigolds with the stem pointed out as a blade in the middle of a ribbon spiral finished off with two-tiered pauldrons resting on its shoulders.

Abilities: Heroes is a highly versatile stand possessing the ability to control the weather. Though Heroes’ ability may be near similar to Weather Report’s, it’s not the same. Unlike Weather Report, Heroes can manipulate certain elements such as thunder and lighting and be able to create weapons out from the elements that they can control. One of Heroes’ featured abilities are giving its user the ability to fly and glide in the air, breath healing, controlling the atmosphere and the weather, aerokinetic invisibility, air attacks, and weather weaponry. It can also have control over any form of precipitation and storms and grant the user a banshee-like physiology.

Its range when creating large-scale storms is based on the location where the user is currently situated. The most notable example is that if Heroes and En found themselves in a city such as Venice, Italy, that would mean the entirety of Venice would be affected, and where both the stand and user are will serve as the main landfall zone where the storms are particularly worse than the rest of the location.

As for the timelines, there are at least two known variations of it! The main verse, which I will be calling as strawberries and cigarettes, and a secondary verse called which will be called as fulmine dorato [eng. golden lightning]!

So basically, in the strawberries and cigarettes verse, the events of Golden Wind + Purple Haze Feedback take place in the year 2015 as opposed to 2001. It also means that the events of DIU happened at less than a year before the events of Golden Wind basically making Josuke, En, and Fugo be the same age. Also this is a verse which basically reverses the deaths of Leone, Narancia, Bruno, and La Squadra but they all carry some form of scarring from the nature of their deaths and whatnot. I got inspired by theclockworkkid on ig and this one fic I read way back in 2020 something and it just stuck on me.

For the fulmine dorato verse, its basically the canon version of golden wind/purple haze feedback (no one dies in La Squadra and Bucci Gang bc I am a sucker and I want them to have happy endings HBVFHJASFB) and that En has been around Passione since she was 15 and was originally a part of La Squadra before being put under the custody of Bruno Bucciarati's team due to 'mysterious circumstances as of late' (basically, La Squadra protecting their youngest bc they're about to betray the boss after Sorbet and Gelato's deaths, only to find out that En would go down the same path as they did aka betraying the boss insert spiderman pointing meme here)

big time. poor kid is just so defeated once she reaches an age where she can really comprehend the fact that he just left her. she’d always had a bit of separation anxiety, but realizing that her mother had died and her father had chosen to leave her too— it just really laid the foundation for abandonment trauma. she constantly finds herself in a downward spiral. logically she knows that taylor will never leave her, but sometimes she’s just too anxious to believe that. she suffers alone for a while too. it’s not even because she doesn’t want to tell taylor, but the poor kid knows that she’s safe and loved and so she doesn’t let herself tell taylor. at the time she starts to fully comprehend her past, is when taylor really dives into finding a therapist for her. they’d coincided with each other so naturally, that through expressing how she was feeling both physically and mentally to her therapist, they’d somewhat tackled the abandonment anxiety. but yeah, it definitely effects her until she’s like seventeen where she just kind of… let’s it go. she was so tired of carrying around that anger for someone who had literally thrown her away. she was putting so much of herself into that anger and he probably hadn’t even thought about her in years. she was giving him power, and she hated that, so she just.. stopped caring. travis and taylor were serious and steady at that point, and even if she didn’t call travis dad, he had still stepped up and filled that position. she’d realized a long time ago that taylor was all she ever needed to know. she didn’t need to remember the first two years of her life with sarah. she didn’t need to make herself sick over what her biological mothers arms would’ve felt like around her, or how her kisses would’ve felt whenever she was sick. she loves sarah, she knows sarah is her mother, but wren is perfectly content with only ever having taylor to call mama. travis becomes the same. she doesn’t need to know the memory of colin. she didn’t want to remember how he looked or how he held her on the night he’d given her to somebody else. all she needs to know is that travis takes her with him to work and they always sneak smoothies before they go home. all she wants to know is that when she was nine, taylor got stuck in traffic and she was sick at blake’s house, and that travis left practice early to get her, and her took her home and he didn’t even care that he was even potentially risking his career. all she needed to know was taylor and travis are never going to leave her, because she knows that she’s their kid. she’s never been anybody else’s kid and she doesn’t want to be.

Born in Madurai, India as Jia Saanvi Sutar, Jia was the technical second child to her parents. However, her older sister had passed away suddenly as a baby and it was hardly ever talked about in her household. She was quickly flagged and tested positive for Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy and began using a cane as a child. Other than that though, early childhood for Jia was largely uneventful.

When she was around seven, she started playing piano and it became very obvious she was a prodigy. She was sent to a private music school so she could hone her skills. The next year was a mixed bag however as she lost her mother and her baby brother was born. Jahnu, her brother, quickly turned into one of the two center points for Jia's world, music being the other, essentially become coping mechanisms when her mother passed away due to complications with his birth.

But again, her life settled into a pretty mundane but steady rhythm for four years, only focusing on her studies and her family. When a job came up for her dad in London, she encouraged him to accept it, leading to the family moving. They all did well with the move and there were little problems on their end of things, the children even planning to get dual-citizenship when they got older.

Jia seemed to thrive in her new school and started playing gigs not long after the move. She was offered scholarships while still in school and it was pretty obvious that she had a good career ahead of her in the music industry. On the side, Jia became vocal in lots of local movements for equality and justice, even leading them at times. Her family were extremely proud of this and even helped her prepare for them, her brother making signs, and her dad packing food to hand out. Within two years, things were definitely looking up.

However, Jahnu also tested positive for Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy soon after, with his progressing scarily faster than his sister. he had to be hospitalized at eight, Jia and her dad moving across town so they could stay near his bedside. And while that was a harsh adjustment period, life continued as usual for the trio for a few years. It was during this chaos that Jia and her family also were finally given dual-citizenship, a small up not to their year.

Jahnu passed away after four years, spending his final moments with his sister and father. Jia was heartbroken, having lost her remaining sibling and the boy she had raised at the same time. Her father Aarav seemed to feel the same, as not long after, he passed away too, seemingly of a broken heart. This left Jia, by that time a music major in university, without any family or support system. This caused her to spiral a bit and throw herself into her work as a coping mechanism, though her mental health took a huge toll.

Somehow, she managed to scrape by for a year and a half on her own before running into a boy two years her senior at a protest she was organizing. After punching his older brother in the face for being an absolute arse to her, the boy apologized for the whole scenario for several hours, even helping her with the event as a way to make it up to her. By the end of the day, she agreed to meet him again the next day in the same spot, and eventually started dating the man, who's name was Marcus.

Jia and Marcus got on like wildfire, and spent nearly all their free time together, both glad they finally had someone that they could rely on to be there for them. She encouraged him to pursue his passion of being a mechanic and he encouraged her to write her own songs for her own album. They spent a lot of time together going to protests and fundraiser events, as well as work and school, with most of their dates just being them doing their daily routines together. Marcus moved in with her around a year into the relationship as well, though that was largely due to his disownment.

Jia graduated a year later with a master's degree in music and quickly began working as a music teacher for young kids and a piano tutor on the side. Money was tight for the couple, even after Marcus found a job as a mechanic. But surprisingly, not counting the usual couple spats, the two barely fought, and ended up getting married after a few years at Jia's temple. And the couple only seemed to keep doing well from there, with both of them very happy about life and looking forward to the future.

Jia ended up having her only child when she was 28 years old, a son she named Johnathan Demarcus Taylor, with nods to her siblings and parents being prevalent in both his English and Hindi names. The one original part of his Hindi name (aka the only bit not after a family member) was Jiyaan, meaning near heart, which was Jia's way of telling her son she would always be with him, despite her condition worsening.

Jia continued her life as usual after her son was born, still a leading figure in a lot of social movements as well as a music teacher. Her LGMD had progressed to the point where she was wheelchair bound but she claimed to her husband that it did not bother her much, and in fact, made bringing Johnny out a bit easier. However, neither of them actually believed it much. She started dealing with a lot more chronic pain than she had before and began working furiously again, feeling like she had to take advantage of every moment she could.

Jia was 33 was when her health really started deteriorating rapidly however. She collapsed at work, leading to her being rushed to the hospital. She was kept there for several days, before being told that with her current progression, she likely wouldn't live much longer. Jia insisted on returning home, saying that if she was going to die, she wouldn't spend her final months just sitting around waiting for it. The doctors were not fans of this but allowed it and released her into family care.

Jia waited a month and a half before taking medical leave for work, and dedicating her time to taking care of Johnny even more, teaching him as much as she could about their shared interest, music, hoping that that piece of her would be able to bring him comfort when she passed. When he was in school, Jia spent all of her time writing music and letters for her family to open in the future when she wouldn't be there, so at least a part of her would be.

Marcus also started taking more and more time off to spend with them. He had learned most of Jia's favourite recipes by heart years ago when cooking began to get hard for her and now the three spent time together teaching them to Johnny as well. Her son was too young to really understand what was going on and serval times tried to make his mum better with bandaids and kisses, something that Jia always played along with, even though it broke her heart to do so.

In September of that year, when Jia was just 34 years old, she collapsed again when Marcus was out of the apartment for only a second, leading 6 year old Johnny to make a desperate phone call to emergency services when she wouldn't wake up. Marcus returned right after and did CPR until the paramedics arrived and took over, taking Jia back to the hospital.

She remained there this time, too weak to move much on her own. Marcus brought Johnny to see her every single day, right after school and Jia made sure to at least pretend that everything was ok when he was there, singing and humming with him like usual, though at that point she knew she wouldn't be returning home.

Jia died mid-October, with Marcus and Johnny beside her. Her final words were telling her son how much she loved him and always would, no matter what. She has a memorial plaque at a cemetery not far from her old temple in London, besides her father's and brother's, which her husband and son visit every opportunity they have.

Jia was a huge impact on her family's lives but also the lives of others as well. She was a leading advocate for disabled, women's, and queer rights, touching the hearts and minds of dozens. She was also well loved by her colleagues, students, neighbors, and fellow temple goers. Jia was commonly described as loving, dedicated, and a spit-fire, never backing down from what she believed in. She also had a sarcastic streak a kilometer wide and a tendency to be a bit of a jokester with close friends and family.

my main one is daisy, i draw her the most because she's the easiest to draw. she's she/her panromantic ace, she has adhd and a younger (trans) sister called lilium. she loves radiohead and boygenius and big theif and ethel cain, and her favourite songs are masterpiece, no surprises, chinese satellite, voyager, american teenager and videotape. she also likes fish, books, pinterest, activism and badge making. she doesn't like climate change, change, ableism or quinoa. she's chaotic good.

pippa/pip is the second one i made. they're autistic and her special interests are jellyfish, space and the tv show everything sucks!. she's a they/she lawful good lesbian. they love tori amos, taylor swift, gracie abrams, comfy cardigans and science, and doesn't like carrots or conflict. she plays piano and violin and bass guitar, her favourite songs are pretty good year, amelie, long story short, that's so true and paper bag. she is not a morning person, and she has a cat called liesl.

Why I made this blog and who i am (intro)

I had a friend in the swiftie community. A brief friend, but a good one. They deleted their blog while I was asleep. Without telling me.

And this is why I’m not mad, and this is why this blog is dedicated to her.

This was our first interaction. As stated in my bio, I have BPD. A very severe case. Her acting flat, not wanting to be my friend for “no reason” (🙄 at myself), I’ve been doing so poorly lately that it should have made my bpd split hard. It didn’t. I gave her her space. I let her come to me.

With her curvy figure and the sweet smile she constantly wears she is all of the boys ideal, although she has no interest in any of them. Hello! I am Taylor Osiris, the only daughter of Principal June Osiris and the great granddaughter of the greatest Reaper of all time, my Papa Thanatos Osiris. I come from a long line of Reapers and am destined to be one of the best.

Despite what I am destined for I honestly just want to become a teacher. I've always wanted to be one. I would like to teach kindergarten, the kids are so cute and sweet.

I am so glad my parents are so supportive of my dream to become a teacher. I currently am a guide and while I love my job and I love being able to help lost souls find their way, I know I'm not cut out for it. I don't like seeing all of the lost and hurt souls, it just breaks my heart. I am so proud of the people that can do it, the people that are able to help people without getting scared or feeling sick. They are so talented! I've met some wonderful Reapers here, some are quite weird though. I've also met some wonderful people at my university, last year I met a wonderful alien girl, I didn't even know we had aliens. It was such a wonderful experience, I love helping people and meeting new people!

My Nana is a wonderful and loving woman. She has 3 children and 6 grandchildren including me. I have just now realized that there are 3 children and 6 grandchildren in the Madrigal family as well, and actually, our families match each other almost perfectly! 👀

Mirabel = Me, I can also relate to Dolores and being the oldest grandchild I was a lot like Isabella as a baby, but Mirabel is my spirit animal now. Like her I am still waiting on a miracle to help me finally get my life in order.

Antonio = Matt, my little brother. He is outgoing and always smiling! When he was younger he relied on me a lot for leadership and support but he grew up to be a very respected member of the family. He works as a grounds keeper and he loves his pet cat Kiki and his pet dog Sunny!

Camilo = Chris, the oldest cousin, he is the silly class clown type, always coming up with random ideas and funny jokes to make everyone laugh! He is also a bit of a rebel. When around strangers he can be a little awkward but personally I really admire his energy.

Isabella = Lindsey, my cousin, she has the perfect life, perfect job, perfect home, perfect husband. She is well mannered and seems to be living the perfect dream life. While I envy her a lot I know she deserves it all because she kind of had a rough childhood growing up.

Luisa = Taylor, my cousin, a bit of an over achiever. She got a lot of awards in school and is now going to university for bio chemistry. Strong ambition, she is preserving and self reliant.

Dolores = Jaycee, my youngest cousin, spiritually sensitive, as a baby she would ask curious questions like, “Do you think Jesus had mustard at the last supper?”

Julietta = My Mom. My Mom was a nurse, she enjoys healing other people. Honestly, her personality is more like Abuala’s because she is high strung and perfectionist but since my Mom was a nurse I’m calling her Julieta.

Pepa = My Aunt Christine. She is a wild and funny woman. Has curly blond hair like Pepa. She can have mood swings at times.. She now lives in Saskatchewan and is the super intendant of a school district.

Bruno = Uncle John. My Godfather. I was closest to him as a baby. A LOT of the families responsibly was placed upon him at a young age (he is the youngest child of my Nana) He ultimately failed to live up to the families expectations and now he lives far to the north, nobody talks about him at family functions.

Do you think LOT prolonged Harry and Olivia’s relationship? I think they would’ve tried to save face for DWD’s sake either way but it’s interesting to me bc she clearly enjoyed and made the effort to be seen at his shows almost every week and the madness of everything was tied up in the tour for a while. So much of the intensity of their relationship seemed to be born out of covid restrictions limiting them to the house and her fertility causing them to speed run some decisions. I can’t picture what a tl looks for them where lot doesn’t happen so they’re at home more or jason doesn’t pick a fight with custody. It’s weird to think about now because the harry pre dwd and post dwd/olivia seem like different people to me and I can’t imagine him in that situation now. for all the genuinely traumatising scrutiny that must’ve been and I assume heartbreak over losing olivia and subsequently taylor, I think having a serious relationship that was 100x less publicised than holivia and having tour probably helped him process and made him think a lot about his choices

when I said it was a bit traumatic I didn’t even mean the public side of it lol (that too obviously and escalated the whole situation for sure), I meant like dating a woman going through what was essentially a divorce that included a very horrible custody battle that involved two kids and a really nasty ex is a WHOLE LOT for anyone but especially someone in their late 20s/early 30s imo who hasn’t had that type of experience before. Like NO ONE has fun during custody battles/divorces but at least if you’ve had your own experiences with them it’s like “okay here’s what I did” but Harry hadn’t had any experience with that beyond being a child of divorce and seeing Ann’s divorce with John and then seeing Robin really step the fuck up for Gemma and him? And I just imagine, even outside like the celebrity side of it, that that would’ve been really difficult. I’m basically his age, am a child of divorce, have seen my mum divorce twice more lol, am not in principle averse to dating someone with kids (haven’t ever but not like because it’s a rule for me) and have an older partner but ngl if my partner were going through a custody battle while with me I’d be very fucking stressed and I think pretty useless with advice and wouldn’t even be the best at the moral support side because it’s just like… quite far out of the realm of my own experience. And I do get the sense that Harry was hella overwhelmed lol and also again partly because of how much he loved/loves Robin and respected Robin, he was trying to do the right thing for Olivia and the kids but also like he’s not yk old enough per se to be in that position.

I don’t know what their whole situation would’ve been in another life where she’d left Jason in a classy fashion and had obtained a normal parenting plan and then started dating Harry. And also what it would’ve been like without LOT and all the DWD drama that was unrelated to them/this. Like that would’ve been a completely different tl and maybe it would’ve worked better because they clearly got along grand for the most part and did really love each other and if things were chill from Jason’s end like I don’t think the kids would’ve been a problem at all. I don’t think Harry would’ve tried to replace him or anything as their dad but also would’ve tried to be a good stepfather figure.

the biological clock thing would still have been an issue just because like she realistically needs to have a kid in the next few years if she wants more bio kids - she can’t really wait another 8 years or anything - but they did seem legit open to kids together idk so again without Jason drama + all the other crap then maybe it would’ve worked out. It didn’t.

and I agree the Taylor thing was healthier and probably helped him work through a few of the issues he’d built up over the past few years but clearly also didn’t work out and imo he should take it slow with the next girl and like see where things go and how they develop. Which again is why Olivia D or someone like her, who’s busy and not really in a rush to marry/have kids etc, would imo be a really good idea. He needn’t stay single but I also don’t think he should move in with someone and/or start talking rings and cradles in the next year or so lol. He should just chill for a bit.

Honeysuckle- Honey for short is the youngest child of the rosewoods,  the owners of a luxury brand of art supplies .  She grew up with wealth,  She was the only one in the family to take after their grandmother and love the arts.   Her mother was the dominant in the relationship, though her father had the business sense.    She grew up being sent to private school and away from the family, and there discovered that she had a talent for the art.  Her medium was oil paint, though she was able to shift to watercolor and acrylic.   

  Her family spoiled her with material gifts, and she got love from chosen family at her boarding school.   She’d never had romantic dalianices, but some one night stands for needs met . She got her art degree and has put on a few shows.  She knows she needs to focus and buckle down
