"This is your Captain speaking.”

Maggie’s head snapped up from the scientific journal she was reading as the plane settled at 30,000 feet and a very familiar voice spoke over the intercom. 

“Bucky?” She found herself whispering his name, in a state of shock. Had Maggie just hallucinated hearing him? 

“We’re expecting a smooth flight into the Bahamas in about two hours. The temperature there is a balmy sixty seven degrees Fahrenheit so I hope you’ve all packed your swim gear.”

There were chuckles throughout the plane and a few that were very confused.

Maggie shook her head in amusement, her cheeks flushing as her stomach erupted with butterflies. Bucky was her pilot — for real this time. He had gotten his pilot's license! 

“Oh, we’re not going to the Bahamas, unfortunately. Scratch that. We’re on our way to New York and will be there in forty five minutes,” the smooth voice said with some humor and joviality in his voice by the sound of it. “You can still expect a smooth flight with very little to no turbulence. And if anyone is in need of a very talented doctor on this flight, we’re lucky to have Doctor Hastings in seat 4A. Enjoy the flight.”

Maggie blinked, her face going red. He knew she was on his flight.

The intercom clicked off and the fasten seatbelt sign turned off. 

Several people turned in their seats to look at Maggie. One man spoke up right away and began to pull his shoe off. “I got this problem with my foot,” he started to say. 

“Do not take your shoe off, Carlos,” the woman next to him berated him. “I told you to take care of that bunion years ago.” Carlos pushed his foot back into the shoe with a grumpy look on his face and began quietly bickering with his companion.

Maggie was grinning, despite knowing she’d have people coming up to her throughout the duration of the flight looking for free medical advice, but she didn’t care. Bucky was her pilot. He had followed through with his dreams and Maggie could not be more proud.

The beverage service began and when the flight attendant stopped at Maggie’s row, a glass of tequila sour was offered to her and Maggie knew exactly who it came from . “From the Captain,” the flight attendant confirmed with a faint trace of a smile. 

There was no first class section on this plane since it was such a short flight from Philadelphia into JFK, so the drink would have cost money normally. 

Maggie grinned, taking the drink. “Please tell him thank you,” she told the flight attendant, who then gave Maggie a small, folded up piece of paper. 

Her face flushed as she opened the note.

BEFORE

This planet doesn't offer much; it was a shit hole, like most places. Anyone still going got used to this kind of thing, few had the luxury of stepping foot on a nice planet. One needs rich friends and important high-level connections for that kind of thing, or they're born into it.

When you make your living catching escapees, you make enemies, not friends, especially not friends in high places even if they’re the ones who hired you in the first place. Sure, they'll be appreciative, especially if you caught some asshole they’ve been tracking for years. But what you won’t get is an invitation to dinner or private island trips.

This place was just a pit stop before heading to Central and getting her newest job. Until then, Kiara didn’t plan on doing much. She got a decent room in a better part of town, north of the red-light district and east of the canal where all sorts of shady shit went down. She would hold up in the sweet spot, far away from all the drama yet close to the transit terminal.

She would sleep, take a long soaking bath maybe - do all the things she couldn't while on mission. Maybe if the right kind of person comes along, she'd get laid too, it has been a while. Lots of people hooked up on the mission, the men, women, and everyone in between. It happened often whether it was in the dark or behind closed doors yet barely hidden.

The job was dangerous enough, no need to add a mess of human emotions into the whole thing. Most of the men Kiara was posted with were pieces of shit, so it made it easy to adhere to this rule. Then, there were the few times she’d considered, but would never follow through with it. Besides, she liked to focus just on the task at hand and take care of her personal needs once the job was done, even if it meant waiting for a while.

Reaching her two-drink limit for the night, Kiara kicked back in the booth with her legs extended across the open seat, so no one got any ideas. If anyone was going to keep company with her, she’d extend the invite herself.

There was one-sided interest coming from a few onlookers, but no one caught her eye until a new guy walked through the doors and headed to the bar. There was a serious look on his face, and he carried himself like a marine officer, even with his plain clothes on.

Once at the bar, he scanned the room, his blue eyes cold and observant - then his eyes met hers. He seemed clean cut, with no facial hair, the hair on his head was dark blonde and a slight reddish undertone and cut short. There was something intense and broody about him, but it didn’t take away from his handsomeness.

His blue eyes stayed fixed on her until the bartender came to him. He turned slightly, his back to Kiara as he made his order. She took another sip, this time eyeing up his form and the way the long-sleeved black top fit perfectly, highlighting how fit he was - but not overly so. There were no bulging muscles or mass- she wasn’t into that kind of thing anyway.

The blue-eyed man turned in his seat, looking back at her again, this time with a beer in his hand. Kiara sat up from her slouching position and slowly lifted one leg off the seat, then the other.

A slight grin ticked on his lips. He stood and made his way over to her, not in a rush, nor a hurry. As he reached the table, Kiara relaxed against the padding and took him in.

He slid into the booth, and leaned back as his eyes raked over her,

“Johns.” he said when they made eye contact again.

“Mora.” she raised her glass, eyes still locked on his as he clicked his beer to it.

Not breaking eye contact, they both brought their drinks to their lips.

Sanremo 2022 - the post!

Hello everyone! Here you’ll find this year’s Sanremo’s stuff and news (I’ll be uploading this post through all the week). The Festival will start on tuesday February 1st at 8:30 pm (it’ll probably have a 5 minutes “anteprima = preview” every night), and end on saturday February 6th, when the final will be broadcasted.

Also this year we'll have the PrimaFestival, the small show broadcasted on Rai1 at around 8:30 p.m. (January 29th- February 5th). The host are Roberta Capua (host), Ciro Priello (host and part of the Youtube/Actors' group "The Jackal") and Paola Di Benedetto (model). As on January 31st PrimaFestival hasn't been broadcasted because of the positivity to Covid of one of the hosts (Roberta Capua). As from February 1st, PrimaFestival is on (8:40 P.M.)

I’m not sure also if or where the usual Dopofestival, with the analysis of the show at the end of each night, will be broadcasted (here you can find last year program L’Altro Festival)

Fiorello (TV host, showman, radio speaker) will be there too, even if he's not in the list of the hosts/guests as in the last two years. How it works

There will be 25 singers in the ARTISTI (artists) section. It will be the only section, differently from the past editions. 22 artists were chosen by Amadeus, while the other 3 are the winners of Sanremo Giovani (held in December 2021). The winner of the competition will represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest: if he/she/them won’t accept, the choice will be another artist, usually the 2nd classified. On the 4th night, there will be the usual "covers" night. The artisti will perform (with another Italian or foreign artist) a song from the Italian or International '60s, '70s or '80s collection (songs published from January 1st 1960 and December 31st 1999).

Years had gone by after that college party surprise threesome. Seven years to be exact. After the impromptu threesome, they came up with a pretty good system. Roger and August became closer friends and also the bond between August and Leilani grew.

And never was there a moment of jealousy, not even when Leilani would spend the night with Roger and just Roger. This is what they had and they all agreed to—it’s just that August knew that nowadays, this system never would’ve worked for him, but college August was different.

There were things that worked for him, that didn’t work for Roger and vice versa. Roger didn’t feel anything for the daddy nickname (he personally preferred ‘sir’), August on the other hand loved it, to a point where she never called him by his name anymore, knowing damn well what the consequences of that were.

People on campus began calling them the three musketeers (which August found lame, but Leilani adored it, so he kept quiet about it) and to be fair, they were indeed pretty damn inseparable.

From time to time, the three of them switched it up. Changed locations (from hotel rooms to under the bleachers) and what not. One morning, Leilani woke up in his bed, kissed him good morning before she took a shower, completely at peace around his room. He enjoyed it was the times with just the two of them. He got to envision what it could be like, if it were just them. She never showed much of her heart, just like he always kept the things buried deep. He wondered if she shared it with Roger or not, but when he asked Roger about it, he realized she was just as kept to herself as usual. Played it cool, like her life was amazing. But then the three of them spend Thanksgiving, then Christmas, then NYE at one of their dorms and he realized she never spoke about her family situation.

Just like neither of them ever did.

But then August got a job offer and quit college. After one last mind blowing time with just her, desperately wanting to say goodbye to her, it was time to go. He remembers everything, every detail of hers, because life after college wasn’t too kind on him and the memory of Leilani kept him going.

He lost touch with both of them, since he rolled from one shady business into another, set foot on the right side, the wrong side and the grey and neutral one.

But now he is done, mostly because he had to quit forever. One thing went wrong and it happened to be fatal for the people he worked with. August now is stuck in a wheelchair, missing both of his legs and his pinky, ring and middle finger from his left hand.

I swear.

Before I played this story I had reservations about playing this game. Since I wasn't fond of teacher-student relationships and only went for student-student and teacher-teacher types, but boy did this story proved me wrong. I was practically smitten with him for being such a cutie and A MATH TEACHER. HE LOVES MATH AND SO DO I. We instantly clicked y’know? What’s better is that he’s kind to all of his students and cheers them on and just shows how damn good of a teach he is. He would also be considered as strict and is like a robot who constantly works and doesn’t feel or show feelings at all. Kiyo also loves it when MC is being honest with him and is greedy with him as well. His ways have truly changed MC and you guys his story is really meaningful. And bro age doesn’t really matter here. Yes you read it right, I just fell in love with him before the game was released because at that time I thought that game was too mature for my age when I based it off their trailer. But I still tried it hehe Eisuke is known as the “King”. He owns the Tres Spades Hotel and the head of the Ichinomiya Group. He’s aloof, bossy and isn’t the type to be full on honest but he has a kind heart. He’s DEFINITELY HANDSOME and is a great leader and businessman. Despite his heartless facade, women would always surround him and beg for his attention even if he wouldn’t pay attention to them. He’s easy to misunderstand for being cruel and ruthless, but don’t be fooled, he’s doing things for a good reason.During his first season tho, he thought of you as a pawn, just something that he owns to be used, but the character development after passing through that phase was definitely tear-jerking and heart melting, all in a good way of course.  Another thing that I love about Eisuke is how his stories understands and helps solving one of the social problems in the world, shaming people, both physically, emotionally and also mentally. It has helped not only me, but many other people out there to love and accept who they are and that they don’t need to change and just be themselves. I’m really glad that I got to meet and fall in love with Eisuke for this long. He has and will always have a special place in my heart. The moon is beautiful, Eisuke and it will always be. ❤
