Whenever she woke up marked the last day of the rest of your life. One moment, the world inside of your head was unnervingly quiet. The next, someone else was there, whispering in the dark, taking over.
You aren't proud of her. No, you hate her. There is no one you hate more, you don't think, because she lets the direction of the fucking wind distract her from what really matters. She paints her environment in a soft, glazed picture, and she tries to hold up her canvas and convince you that her reality is real. But then you blink, and you get flashes of how dull the sky really is and the dirt that stains your shoes, and you know that she's just a liar.
A controlling, desperate thief.
When you heard her voice for the first time, you begged your reflection in the mirror to just kill you already.
If you were an alpha, maybe you could've just drawn away into yourself and lived a quiet life in the middle of nowhere. If you were a beta, perhaps the weight of nothing would've given you a little more freedom to do the things you wanted to do.
But no. You're an omega. Nature's servant. A natural follower. Destined for nothing except to open your legs and say, "yes, alpha, all for you," because if you are anything but complacent, you're unwanted and a waste of your very being.
Your eyes stung when you took your first little pill. They rattled in different colors in a little orange bottle, and it felt like sand as it dissolved under your tongue. Even though it makes you sick, you take them anyways. Even though the pills change colors and shape and efficacy because you buy them from someone different every time, you take them because it makes your omega shut the fuck up finally.
You bury her. And you won't let her out.
The truth of it is that you're only fighting yourself. Your omega, she is you, isn't she? She's a part of you, she makes up your very genetic makeup, and to hate her is to hate yourself. But nature is cruelâit gave you years of freedom. Years to know what life was like without her, when she was dormant, asleep, just waiting for you to finally wake up.
Then your very self locked the cage. Your fingers claw at the bars, but it's no use. It's your very own punishment. So in turn, you bury her, too, silencing her cries, quieting what she wants most in the world, because it isn't fair, fuck you, you whiny bitch.
She's a pathetic puppy; and you are more than happy to step on her fucking neck.
Your aim is off today. The sound is muffled through the earphones you wear, but they've never thrown off your balance before. When you lean over the railing and squint at the target papers towards the back, you can see the bullet holes just a few inches off center.
You're never off-center.
"Getting rusty on me, Kit?"
You turn around, setting the gun down, and you smile wide when you see a familiar face. You pull the headphones off, putting them aside before making your way towards her.
Kate Laswell is surprised when you throw your arms around her and hug her tight. She smells good; she smells like chocolate, dark chocolate, something bittersweet. She's got that edge to it that they all do, something a little heady and all-encompassing, but she's the only alpha that you've ever found comfort being near. You see her nose scrunch a little when she embraces you back.
You must stink like synthetics. You care, only because you hate to make her nose sting this way. It's never been meant for her. At times, you thought maybe you could do a little convincing; maybe if you batted your lashes enough, sheâd take pity on you, hide you away in some CIA shack with her deep on a Montana farm and play house. Youâd cook, and sheâd protect, and youâd be perfect little alpha and omega until the end of your days.
But Kate doesnât like baggage. Not even the sweet kind, and especially not the kind that makes it even more difficult to make the hard decisions.
Kate isnât a soldier. She makes choices based on the greater good, the lesser evil. She doesnât get to be selfish. She doesnât have that luxury.
When you pull away, she looks down at you strangely. She looks tired. Her dark hair is in a mess of a braid tucked under a cap, and she looks like she hasn't slept in days. Her attempt of a smile emphasizes the lines around her eyes. You open your mouth to tell her something, but she shakes her head.
"I'm not here as a friend," she says softly, and you frown a little.
"Aren't...haven't we always been friends?" You ask, and Kate lets out a shaky sigh, nodding her head behind her.
"We need to talk. C'mon."
You retrieve the gun and holster it, fastening it into your thigh holster before you follow her. She has a car waiting outside, a big, black SUV with the door already open for her. When you get inside, she knocks on the divider, and the car immediately starts moving. You brace yourself against the side of the car as it speeds off, reaching for a seatbelt.
"Jesus, Kate, what's going on? I-I have training later, I can'tâ"
"You're not...going back to base," she says evenly. You frown a little, leaning back in your seat, and you put your hands in your lap as you try and get a read on her. Even exhausted, Kate is hard to decipher. She has a stone-cold expression, calm and unbothered, and you curse her CIA training for making her impossible to understand, to even get a glimpse of what she might say next. Her face makes you anxious, and the scent in the car that changes puts you on edge.
"Okay," you scoff a little. "Then where am I going?"
Kate sniffs a little, crossing her arms over her chest. She doesn't break eye contact with you when she says, "Wheels up in 30. I have an assignment for you." She reaches under the seat, pulling out a manila folder, setting it down beside you. When you pick it up and flip it open, you narrow your eyes.
"I'm..." You shrug your shoulders, "I'm not really CIA. You don't give me orders."
"As of one hour ago, you're mine. And this...this is your duty."
Your eyes blur as you skim the text on the pages. You flip through the papers flimsily, getting more and more irritated until you throw it at her, your chest rising and falling fast as you pant, barely able to see her through your tears.
Program. UK. Field assignment. Mate. All the keywords to make your stomach curl and your autonomy shrink in front of your very eyes.
"Kate, don't do this," you beg her softly. You soften your voice, and you let your omega drip syrup into it. You want to see her eyes dilateâyou want to make her protectiveness kick in just enough that she might just appease you. Itâs desperate, and you know itâs wrong, but you do it anyways, you have to. "Please don't do this. Please. You fucking promised me, you promisedâ"
"You need to understand that I don't have a lot of fucking choices," she says sharply. She pities you, that much you can tell. She looks pained, but it doesnât matter how pained she might feel because it isnât happening to her. Itâs happening to you, and she put you on that base so that it wouldnât happen to you, and she tricked you into getting into this car, and now itâs herâ
"Kate, I'll do anything, please," you gasp. You reach over and grab her hands, tugging her towards you. "You know. You know what...w-what I've been through, what this all is, you know...please. Please..."
You promised me. You gave me your word.
"I can'tâ"
But the CIA canât be trusted for shit.
"I'll be yours," you try, squeezing her palms. Appease. Beg. Bare your neck. Give her what she really craves. "Just claim me yourself, a-and...and we don't have to do this, w-we can...I-I can go back toâ"
Her face contorts, offended, disgusted. You try and swallow down the sting of her rejection, but you cannot help yourself. You would do anything to not be subjected to this fate, to the fate she promised she'd save you from. The only alpha you have ever trusted, and she's pulling away from you, bit by bit.
"I could never do that to you," she interrupts, shaking her head. "I couldn't."
"But you'll do this instead?"
"It's the lesser evil," she says finally, pushing your hands back. It aches. Despite you never leaning towards her, it is still an alpha turning their nose up at you, and the thing inside of you cries at the feeling; she begs you to do more, but you swallow her down, fingers itching for another pill just so you can really squash her singing. "And in my world, that is the best I can hope for."
"It's punishment!" You cry, and she reaches over, cupping your cheeks, pulling you close. You scrunch your face at her touch. Her hands are cold, and they do not welcome you. "A-And for what? For being something that I can't change?!"
"It's mercy," she whispers. Her thumbs stroke your cheeks in soft circles. "I can't protect you anymore, do you understand? They don't want you there, and I canât take you with me. Even taking meds, even spraying yourself to shit, they don't want you, and I can't protect you if they send you away, do you understand me?" You start to cry, closing your eyes, and you hear the familiar voice in your head preening. She's desperate, slipping through the cracks, and you squeeze your eyes shut as you try and force her backwards. Youâre panicking, and maybe sheâs trying to help, but you hate her. "I have to get you out of there, and this is the only way."
"Please..."
"I can't protect you," she says gently. "But he can. And he'll be good to you. I promise, this...this I can promise."
You rip yourself away from her, curling into yourself as you scoot away from her as far as possible. You press yourself against the door, tucking your knees into your chest. Whatever passes by outside is a blur, and your brain doesnât register any of it. The only thing in your head is betrayal, traitor, those sick, stupid bastard alphas, all of themâ
"Fuck your promises," you whimper, and when she reaches out for you again, you flinch, burying your face into your hands.
Kate is a liar. She never keeps her promises; thatâs her job, it is what she does. The CIA is nothing if they arenât incredible liarsâitâs what theyâre known for, and Kate takes to it like a fish to water. As far as you are concerned, she lured you in with bait, and now she's shut the door on a trap. It is lined with padding, soft, delicate, but it still holds you back, it still keeps you still and stagnant and forever chained to an existence that you detest more than anything. She used you; it was in her best interest to keep an omega under her thumb, to do with you as she pleased when she needed one, and you suppose once you are taken, she will find another to do the same with. She will give another desperate one like you false hope, and when she needs another omega to keep someone else complacent and willing, she will offer them up with her signature on paperâjust like that.
She tries to touch your hand before you board the plane. She tries to meet your eyes, get your attention, anything. You cower when she reaches out, and when she steps backwards, you walk on.
You never look behind yourself. Not even when you sit, and not even as the ramp closes shut.
Fighting is futile when you are who you are. It's unexpected. It's frowned upon. You are made up of something that is intended to be docile, to be big-eyed and soft. If you were a dog, they would want you to roll over and bare your belly and forget how to do anything but obey, but that is not the kind of thing that you ever wanted to be, even when you were small, even before you knew what you really were.
You hate what you are. You medicate yourself to the point of being incoherent, you bare your teeth and aggravate the submissive nature you inherit to deter any kind of match. You make yourself undesirable, not just in your physical nature but in the very essence of yourself.
You want to start over, as something else, or you want to never have been at all. You hate this place, you want them to cast you out, you want to be left to your own devices because dying alone and unwanted is better than submission; it;s better than the imprisonment that your kind subjects themselves to, willing or not.
It sickens you. You watch your own kind fall to their knees, close their mouths, and allow their very being to disappear just to make another satiated. Happy. Their entire lives, reduced to being someone else's waiting hand, someone else's property. It's sad, it's pathetic, it rocks you to the very center of yourself, and you demand more of it, you reject this life and the voice in your head that fights with you every single day of it.
She hates you, too, your omega. She claws at your insides and begs for something to drink, but you dry her out. You don't allow her to even breach the surface of the wasteland you've suffocated her with. She is naĂŻve; she doesn't know what is good for her, she doesn't know that you are saving her from a life of constant torture. She screams for you to let her out, but you take another pill and force her back into the dark.
Or at least you did. You haven't taken a pill in days. They won't let you, even when you asked, even when you began to beg. You promised to be good if they just appeased you. You promised to be quiet if they just slipped it under your tongue, even if they injected it into your very veins, anything, just please, please, I don't want toâ
Everything is surreal. You feel like you're seeing everything in color. What used to be dull and uninteresting now sparkles in your very eyes, it glows under the sun. Everything is sharper and less blurry. Sounds are clearer. You can hear the wind more loudly in your ears and feel it under the soles of your shoes. But what dizzies you the most is your sense of smell.
Everything before had been so bland. You have been under the effects of suppressors for so long that you don't think food has ever smelled so bad and so good (eggs make you gag now, and the crisps they give you make your mouth water).
They keep you confined in a small room. You are not allowed in the presence of any alphas; you can smell them passing by the door, but whenever the stink of one of them lingers, there's loud voices, lots of heavy boots. A beta comes to collect you to do a daily workout and to shower, and then you are back in your room, your meals delivered on a tight schedule (and the food, after a few days of your tray being barely picked at, gets so much betterâit's better quality than you've seen on any military base, and when you asked, all they said was "lieutenant's orders").
Today is different. Today, along with your breakfast, a large black hoodie is folded underneath the tray that they leave on the end of your bed. You set the food aside, picking up the hoodie, and when you unravel it, you spread it out, gawking at the size of it. Whoever this hoodie belongs to is more bear, more beast, than human. An enormous thing, but when you pick it up, you immediately pick up on its strong scent.
You press the front of it to your nose. Your eyes flutter shut, and you sink into the bed a little as you take a deep breath of it. Warm, but gritty, like charcoal. Cigarettes. Military-issue soap. Clean. Eucalyptus. Fire. Something with depth, something with teeth. You don't realize what's happening to you until it's too late.
Alpha. It smells undoubtedly like alpha, and you're certain by the size of it that it belongs to one. You nuzzle your face into it a little, instinctively, and you don't even register your omega knocking, peering through the door that's been cracked open for her.
She squeals with delight. She's getting dizzy, drunk, and you feel a soft noise in your chest bubble as she pets the back of your mind, keening at the introduction of it. Sheâs giggling. You can feel her tugging at your insides, whispering in your earâSee? I told you. I told you that youâd like it.
They smell strong. They smell capable. They smell pure.
When you put the hoodie down, your legs are pressed together, shaking from how hard your thighs are squeezed. When you relax, you refrain from the need to touch yourself, but you failed before you even started. You can feel how wet you are; your panties must be soaked, and you feel yourself pulsing with some sort of distinct urge to give in, give in, give in.
It's unnerving, the lack of control you have. Your omega has always been a few feet underwater, but she's breaching the surface now, her lips gasping for air.
You try to push her back.
Stay down.
When the clock strikes for dinner, you aren't surprised by the knock. But you are surprised that when the door opens, there isn't a beta in uniform holding your tray. Instead, you cover your nose a little, blinking harshly as a large man comes into the room. He's got a strange beard and a floppy hat, and when he smiles, he reminds you of a teddy bear. You can tell just by his physique what he is, but his eyes are kinder than you're used to.
You will yourself not to trust them. You trusted kind eyes before, and now youâre locked in a prison of your own making.
"'ello," he introduces himself, holding out his hand. "'m Captain John Price. 's nice to meet you."
You glare at him, not saying a word. When he figures you won't shake his hand, he just nods. He lets his hand drop, hooking his thumbs into his tact vest, and he rests at ease.
"I've come to collect you," he says lowly. "It's time."
You pick up your tray of food from behind you and hurl it towards him. He ducks just in time, moving one shoulder backwards as the metal hits the wall behind him and clatters to the floor in a splattered mess. John shakes his head a little, scratching the back of his neck, and he clicks his tongue. Youâre unnerved and a little pissed off when a hint of a grin flickers over his face.
"Fuckin' hell," he breathes. "Yeah...you'll do."
"The fuck is that supposed to mean?"
"Let's go," John snaps. "Won't ask again."
When he reaches for you, you swipe the fork from the bed, stepping close and sticking the little prongs up against his chin. You arenât satisfied until you can feel his scratchy beard against it, piercing the skin just enough.
"If you touch me, I'll shove this right up your chin through your goddamn nose," you threaten, and Johnâs nostrils flare, his hands going up flat beside his head.
"Easy," he murmurs, and you feel like heâs talking to a skittish mare. "Just need to guide you, that's all."
"Well, I don't want to go anywhere."
"If you don't do this, I have to send you back," John explains. "And Kate made it very clear that is supposed to be my last resort. And you don't want to go back."
"Anything is better than this," you hiss, and he narrows his eyes.
"Not this. What they do to unruly omegas..." He leans forward, snarling a little. "Ones like you. Ones that bite. And scratch. They don't deal with them. They'll sedate you and use you as training practice. And while Kate might have a heart big enough to keep you outta that place, I don't have it. So get your arse moving. Now."
You put your hand down, dropping the fork, letting it clatter to the floor. He grips you by the collar of your shirt, urging you forward, and all the hairs stand up on the back of your neck as he gets dangerously close to scruffing you. It's enough of a threat that you immediately relax, your own body betraying your emotions as it tries to make itself smaller. To appease. To submit.
"This can't wait any longer," John mutters. "Has to happen today."
Your lip trembles.
"What has to happen today?" You ask.
"You're meeting your mate," he says. You know that was the answer, but you had to ask it anyways. You think of the hoodie you received all those hours ago. The smell of him, complete intoxication. "Simon."
Simon.
"Sounds like an asshole," you snap, irritated, and John chuckles a little.
"Mmm. He is. You'll adore 'im."
You flinch at the flickering fluorescent lights as he leads you down a narrow hallway. When you pass other soldiers, John puts you in front of him, glaring and baring his teeth a little. You're confused by this sudden display of aggression on your behalf, but when you spot the looks in othersâ eyes, you're grateful for it nonetheless.
You know your scent is strong; piercing the walls around you, displaying your displeasure, discomfort, fear so plainly. It's an awful thing to not be able to hide how you feel, to not feel like you have any control over how you present to others, but you have no practice masking any of it. You have been drowning your omega for so long that you didn't realize the strength of her building up behind the synthetic walls you had built. She's livid, angry, permeating the spaces in your mind that you thought were solid and now are broken and hollow inside.
You stop in front of an unmarked door. John looks over you, eyeing the jacket you wear.
"Take tha' off," he says lowly. You frown, stepping back, but he nods again. "Take it off. You'll get it back, just give it to me."
You shrug your jacket off gently, handing it to him. John holds out his hand for yours, and when you cautiously give it to him, he rubs the fabric against your wrists to soak it in your scent before disappearing behind the door. You wait outside, pressing your ear to the metal, but you hear nothing but low mumbles. You do hear a heavy gait, big feet moving around that don't belong to Captain Price, and you close your eyes as you try and see if you can hear his voice.
You don't.
The door is opened just slightly, John cocking his head to the side.
"He wants to see you."
You raise a brow.
"Your mutt?" You ask smartly, and John scoffs a little, kicking the door open wide finally. Behind it, you can see a small little office situated. Dozens of file cabinets, a stained wooden desk, a peeling leather chair. There are papers everywhere, a disorganized mess and walls filled with medals, plaques, letters, pictures of faceless men. And standing beside the desk, towering over it with his head nearly hitting the ceiling is a bear.
A fucking bear.
He's so tall. Over six feet of hulking man, big shoulders taking up too much space. You can tell just by looking at him that he has to duck his head and move his body sideways to get through the doorway you're standing in. He has big hands and thick thighs, and your lips part when you realize his thigh holster has been released as much as possible just to still fit snugly around him. He's wearing dark jeans and a thick black hoodie, and he looks even bigger with a strapped tact vest that holds numerous little gadgets, weapons (fuck, he looks like he can kill you with the pencil laying haphazard beside him).
You can't see his face. He covers it with a mask, a snug covering tucked under his hoodie with the plastic front plate of a skull sewn to its front. He's holding your jacket in one hand, the other clenched in a tight fist as you step through the door.
"Is this your dog, Captain?" You ask finally. Simon doesn't speak. He tilts his head to the side, eyeing you, taking in the way you look from the tips of your combat boots all the way up over your head. His gaze lingers on your middle, the wideness of your hips and the curve of your body.
John crosses his arms over his chest.
"Suppose so," John shrugs, rolling his eyes a little. You blink, finally making eye contact with Simon. His eyes are dark and beady. He's intense, just as his scent had been. Your omega warms your throat and screams in your ear.
Grab him. Latch onto him. Donât let him go. Do you see him? Look at himâ
"Does it bark?" You wonder, glaring. Simon unclenches his fist, rolling his fingers out a little. They twitch beside his leg. His face twitches a little, too, you can see the mask move just slightly.
"When he wants to."
"Does it bite?"
John snorts. "Mmm. Afraid so." He opens the door behind him. "Don't kill each other. If I don't see her for supper, Simon, I'll hold you to it."
When you are alone, Simon still remains silent. He hasn't moved from his spot by the desk, still in a strange staring contest with you as you stand there trying to read him. Like Kate, he's impossible; this time, you don't even have the luxury of looking over his face, although you suspect even without the mask, he must have mastered some kind of expression of nothingness. He seems like the kind of brute to give nothing away. Not even his displeasure.
"Hope you're good on a leash," you say finally, crossing your arms over your chest. "I like to go on walks."
His face moves under the mask again. Finally, he moves. He unravels your jacket in his hand, holding it open for you to put on again. You eye him strangely before coming closer to fit your arms into it.
When you turn your back to him, you realize how much of his shadow you're tucked under. When he drops the fabric back on your shoulders, you still as he leans over one side of you, bending. Without thinking, your head tilts to the side, giving him more space into the side of your neck. You do it without even thinking. Your omega bleeds through you, and you feel her warmth everywhere now, making you move, but you let her this time.
Your scent gland pulses there under your ear. He can see it, hear it practically, rushing like the blood in his ears. You close your eyes when you feel him come closer, the cotton of his mask just barely grazing your neck as he takes a deep breath.
The growl he lets out shakes you to your core. Your pupils get blown wide at the sound, and your head flops back slow, exposing more of your neck. He uses the opportunity to bend just that much more, until the front of his mask is pressed against the gland, and he can breathe you in, right at the source.
He's snarling under the mask. You can hear his teeth knock together, his tongue wetting his lips. You shiver, leaning into him, your hand raising up to caress the back of his neck as he nuzzles his nose there, taking another deep breath. You step back enough that he presses up against you from behind. You can feel his pelvis right against your ass, and you arch your back just enough to fit him right where he belongs. A gloved hand catches you at your waist, and you put your free hand on the desk in front of you until his cock is right there between your ass.
Your omega is panting. She's clawing, right there at the edge, fighting against quicksand as she's desperate to meet him. The feeling of him, the scent of him so close, it's an aphrodisiac, potent, suffocating. Something warm is wrapping around you, sliding along your skin, tickling your toes. It's between your thighs, in your mouth, wetting your tongue. You're not sure what this feeling is, but it's thrilling.
He's purring. Big, rumbling sounds coming from deep in his chest. More animal than man as his tongue comes out under the mask, and you can feel him lick a nice stripe over the raised, warm skin under your ear. Your omega is being pulled to the forefront. Sheâs like a magnet to him. The closer he gets, the stronger she bites into you. Your mouth drops open when his hand falls between your thighs, gripping onto you and pulling you up against him in one, slow grind. You can feel the length of him, fucking enormous, and youâre leaking into your cargos as his fingers squeeze the fat of your thigh.
"Fuckâokay!" You pull away abruptly, turning to face him. You put your hands on his chest and push him back a little. He doesnât move at your touch, but your voice startles him enough that he moves his hands up and away from you. He straightens up, blinking away the haze in his eyes, and you swallow hard. "T-Too much..."
He huffs, moving forward to bury his face into your neck again, but you step back, putting a hand on his chest firmer this time. You have stepped out of the cloud that surrounds him, but you can still taste it, and itâs pulling you back, and youâre losing control.
"Simon," you say his name gently, and he stops, his face scrunching a little under the mask before he stands back up again. "If I have to be your mate...we need to set some boundaries." He blinks, saying nothing. "Like...a-asking for permission."
You can tell by the way his mask twitches that he doesn't usually ask for permission. He wants, and he receives.
Typical.
âWhat?â You ask, scoffing. âYou donât talk?â
He doesnât move. You crane your neck to look up at him a little better, and you smooth your hands lower on his chest. You canât help but appreciate what you feel. Heâs wearing a tactical vest, but you can still feel the deep breaths heâs taking, the strong, fatty muscle under your palms. He is the epitome of sheer strength and undeniable ability. Your omega draws your hands back up his chest, over his pecs that pull taut, and they wind up around his neck as you stand up on your toes and lean into the curve of his jaw. You put your nose to it, barely. Simon moves his hands down, cupping you under your ass and picking up your weight with not even a grunt until you can press your face deep into him.
Fuck, itâs like a drug. Itâs addictive. His scent impales you. He smells like war. Like chaos and smoke, and your mouth starts to water as you keep breathing him in. You pull back just enough, blinking up at him. You look a little dizzy and intoxicated, and he squeezes your ass to hold you steady as he puts you back onto your feet.
âUhmâŚâ You sniffle a little, holding onto him. Your hands curl around his shoulders, and you keep yourself upright like this. âI didnât wanna be here. I donâtâŚI donât want this. I never did.â You blink away tears, but he sees them when you draw your eyes back up to his. âT-They made me. It hurts.â
âWot hurts?â
His voice scares you when you finally hear it. Your lip shakes, and when you blink again, your tears fall down your face. Simon snarls when he sees them, reaching up with hands too rough and wiping them off your face, but they keep coming.
âIâve never been o-off my medsââ You gasp, and your breaths start to come in panicked and too fast. âEverything hurts. T-The lights are too bright, everything hurts my nose, the sheets are too itchy, and I-I canât breatheââ
Simon moves away from you immediately. He closes a fist and pounds the lightswitch, and only the yellow glow of the lamp on his desk illuminates the room. You curl into yourself, hugging your own arms, and Simon comes back to stand in front of you, narrowing his eyes.
âI did not want you either.â
âThatâs just grand, this is perfect,â you hiccup, and Simon grunts.
âBut I have orders.â
âYou act like your Captain is just debriefing you for a fucking mission,â You snap, glaring at him. âIâm a fucking person. I know your kind may not see us that way, but I am. Iâm not a mission. Iâm not something for you to win or to conquer, you fucking asshole!â
When you raise a hand to hit him, he catches your wrist before it lands. He squeezes just enough to hold you at armâs length, and you lean forward and spit on him instead. It wets the mouth of his mask, and he nearly loses himself as his eyes flash with something dark. He looks away from you for a moment to collect himself. When he turns back, he uses his other hand to cup the back of your head, silencing you.
âYou listen âere, omegaââ The way he says your title makes the fight in you shrink. Your omega squeaks, ducking her head, that bubble of submission pilling in your throat as he holds you so close to your naked scent gland. âDunno wot anyone told you, but I donât have to win you when yâr already mine.â He ducks his head, pulling you closer, and you freeze when he presses his masked mouth at the base of your pulsing scent gland. It wafts into his nose, dilating his pupils, and he snarls. âAnd when you inevitably lose control of yourselfâyou already fuckinâ are, you reek of itâIâm goinâ to sink my teeth right âere, and then it wonât fuckinâ matter âow you feel.â
Your eyes blur with angry tears. You gasp, your breaths hitching, and Simon seems to feed off of your fear, your misery. If he wasnât wearing a mask, you imagine heâd be licking your tears for a chance to taste your sadness. The worst part of it all is that your omega adores it. Sheâs been aching for so long for this kind of authority. For that edge to tickle her right under her chin where she likes it. The whiff of alpha that sheâs getting is driving her out of control, and you donât know how make her quiet down. Sheâs so loud in your head, banging against the wallsâgive it to him, give it to him, give it to him.
âYouâre a fucking monster,â you whisper, glaring up at him. Itâs no useâyou will never scare him. Simon is what scares other alphas into submission. In one paw, he could crush your windpipe if he wanted to, with just a squeeze. Simon hums, and you imagine him smiling under that mask, some kind of vicious grin that you would love to smack off of him.
âThaâs right, sweeâeart,â Simon mutters. âI am. ân now you belong tâme. Everything that you areââ He smooths his hand down your neck. You seize when his hand slides over the curve of your waist until it cups under your ass and forces you up against him. ââs mine. Your omegaââs mine. Your mouthâmine. Your arseâmine. That cunt thatâs going to take my knot like a good little omega shouldâmine. So yâr gonna get yâr things, and yâr gonna move them into my quarters, and then weâre gonna go get supper, and yâr gonna shut yâr fuckinâ mouth.â
âI hate you. Youâre the biggest son of a bitch I have ever met in my entire life, you are exactly the kind of asshole I knew you would be, you are no different than I thought. Youâre a terrible, awful, horribleââ
âI can smell you,â Simon snaps. âDonât try to be fuckinâ smart with me, I can smell how wet your cunt is, so why donât you just be a good girl and do as I say?â
You bare your teeth a little, and Simon sticks a gloved thumb into your mouth. Without thinking, you relax. You suck it into your mouth and sigh, and Simon rubs his thumb against your tongue, shutting you up nice and well. He traces your teeth with it, and you start to cry. You cry because you donât know why you canât fight. Your grip his forearm, but your nails wonât dig. Your feet are planted to the ground, and you canât move. Your mouth sucks, and he pushes, and youâre frozen here.
He knows what to do. Doesnât he taste so good?
He seems to like your teary eyes. The big, fat tears. His eyes crinkle, and you know heâs smiling, and you wish you could rip that expression off his face, but all that stares back at you is death. Simon growls, and every bit of resistance in you fails. Slow, like molasses, your knees buckle, and he catches you. He pets your mouth, and when he leans in and presses his mouth to your ear, all you can do is cry.
âThatâs it. Good kitty.â

Wedding Nerves : ĚĚâ Lando Norris
summary: it's the night before your wedding and lando can't bare to spend it all alone
Your head shook as another knock at the door came, knowing exactly who was on the other side. You tried your best to ignore it as you unpacked your suitcase, but they were ever so persistent, knocking once again.Â
âLando, you shouldnât be here,â you called out, walking over to the door. âYou can stand there all night long but Iâm not opening the door. The boys will all be wondering where you are.âÂ
âI donât care abou them,â Lando replied, leaning against the other side of the door. âI just want to see you one last time before tomorrow, just a couple of minutes, thatâs all that Iâm asking for.âÂ
Your eyes closed as you leant on the door, hearing Lando sigh. His voice was desperate as he tapped on the door once again, letting you know that he was still there. You could only smile at how determined Lando was, refusing to go without seeing you.Â
âYouâll get to see me forever after tomorrow,â you tried to assure him, âitâs only one night away from each other, weâve done it hundreds of times before.âÂ
Landoâs head shook, âthis time itâs different, itâs our wedding morning tomorrow.âÂ
âWhy are you here Lando?â You groaned, beginning to think that there was more to things than he was letting on. âSomethingâs not gone wrong, has it?âÂ
His head shook, remembering that you couldnât see him. âI spoke to George and he said Carmen told him that you were feeling nervous. I wanted to come and see you and make sure that you were alright, I donât want you to be nervous, you should be excited.âÂ
âI am excited,â you responded, dropping down to the floor, âtomorrow is just such a big deal, and thereâs so many people going to be there. I hate having all that attention on me, thatâs all.âÂ
Lando remained where he was, only wanting to see you more now that he knew how you felt, keen to settle your nerves and reassure you not to worry.Â
âLet me see you and just give you a hug,â Lando requested, tapping the door once again. âWeâre fine to see each other, tradition is only tomorrow morning, not that either of us really care about that anyway.âÂ
The sound of the lock turning made Lando jump up, watching as you opened the door slightly. It was wide enough for Lando to see you, but not open enough for him to be able to reach in and hold onto you.Â
âLando, I promise you that Iâm absolutely fine. Go and enjoy your evening.âÂ
âI canât see well enough to be sure,â he grinned, refusing to give up quite that easily, trying to push the door to fit his hand through it. âWhatâs the point of just letting me see a bit of you, why not just open the door all the way?âÂ
âBecause once youâre here I know you wonât go away,â you chuckled.Â
Landoâs eyes widened at your assumption, shaking his head in reply to you. The smile on his face told you otherwise though, you knew exactly what he was up to, and once he was in, there was no way that he was going to be walking back out again.Â
You tried your best to keep the door shut, but Lando was far stronger than you were, digging his heels into the ground and pushing the door open, stumbling over his feet and falling straight into your hotel room.Â
âServes you right,â you grinned, offering your hand to help him up. Â
Lando stood himself up and straightened his clothes before heading in your direction. His arms wrapped around your frame as he tightly held you against his chest, pressing several kisses against the top of your head, refusing to let go now that he had a hold of you.Â
Lando kicked the door to your hotel room shut, keeping you in his hold as he walked you both over to your bed, dropping down in the middle of it with you by his side, making himself comfortable like he was there for the night.Â
After a few moments, Landoâs hand trailed along your back. âThereâs no need to worry about tomorrow you know, itâs going to be perfect, Iâm sure of it.âÂ
With all the efforts you and Lando had put in, you knew there was no reason to worry, there was no chance of anything going wrong. You had the perfect place, perfect theme, and everyone who you wanted to attend was doing so, there was nothing more you could ask for.Â
âMaybe if you are nervous, it might be a good idea for me to stay here,â Lando added, catching your eyes roll. âI mean we both know how much it helps when you sleep next to me when youâre worrying, so it makes perfect sense, right?âÂ
âIâm not going to let you stay,â you said, quickly shutting Lando down.Â
Lando hummed in reply to you, âwe both know how this is going to work, Iâm going to wear you down until you say yes, you know that, donât you?âÂ
âNope,â you laughed, âI refuse to cave tonight, youâll be gone soon.âÂ
âYouâll have to get rid of me,â Lando told you, âand judging by your hand against my chest, Iâd say that youâre pretty happy for me to stay a while still yet.âÂ
You quickly moved your hand off of Landoâs chest, shuffling across the bed to create some distance between you both. Lando looked at you in surprise, trying to move back towards you again, only for you to move back too.Â
âItâs going to be a pretty rubbish stag do if youâre not there,â you reminded him, standing up from the bed. âPlus, you only said that you wanted a couple of minutes of my time.âÂ
âI donât need a stupid stag do, not when I could spend my night with you instead,â Lando sighed, sitting up in the middle of the bed. âDo you really actually want me to go?âÂ
You tried to ignore the little voice in your head telling Lando to stay, nodding your head. You didnât want him to miss out on his stag do, the party that he had been looking forward to for so long.Â
âI should probably go,â Lando pouted, sliding off of the bed. His shoulders hung low, his feet dragging along the floor dejectedly. âBut all you have to do is give me a call and Iâll forget all about the boys tonight and rush straight over here to be with you instead.âÂ
âGo on,â you grinned, opening up the door. âIâll be alright without you for one night.âÂ
Lando stood in the doorway, turning back to face you one final time, letting you see just how disappointed he was that you were making him leave.Â
âIn five years, I think this is the first time youâve declined to spend the night with me,â Lando mused, âand the night before my wedding too.âÂ
âIâm not declining to spend the night with you,â you protested, âthis is what we agreed on, youâre going to be stuck with me for the rest of your life after tomorrow anyway.âÂ
âI canât believe it,â Lando smiled, âthe rest of our lives together.âÂ
âOnly if you go,â you teased, pushing Lando out of the door. âGo and enjoy your evening, Iâll see you tomorrow Lando.âÂ
âI canât wait to marry you sweetheart.âÂ
âI know, me too Lan.âÂ

Sukuna who never was close to his twin brother and never cared about the pipsqueak runt of a kid whoâs his nephew.
He doesnât care and doesnât want to be associated with that bullshit. His brother doesnât take the hint ever and invites him to everything. âMy sonsâs birthday partyâ this and âmy sonâs kindergarten graduationâ that. What sort of graduation is meant for a kindergartener anyway? Thatâs a load of nonsense. But Jin is as annoying as ever with insisting on keeping contact and trying to get Sukuna involved and he hates it until by some tragedy out of nowhere, his brother and sister and law are dead. Yuujiâs left an orphan and no one can care for that kid because thereâs no one left.
No one except Sukuna.
They ask him, too. The social workers. They turn to him and say some pitiful script about being âthe only family left to take custody of him.â He knows pretty well whatâs going to happen to the pipsqueak if he doesnât agree. The foster care system and the possible horrors such a bright (even if annoying) kid could face makes him question saying no for a second. Heâs surprisingly conflicted.
And itâs out of sheer impulsiveness alone does he end up as a single, grumpy, begrudging uncle whoâs got custody of a child he never really cared to know in the first place.
And then he meets you.
Sweet, bubbly, warm, and so weirdly happy. Dictionary definition of what an elementary school teacher should be. Yuujiâs absolute favorite person on the planet as he waves hello at you enthusiastically every time that Sukuna drops him off and goodbye every time that Sukuna picks him up.
âI heard his new guardian would be his uncle. Itâs nice to meet you,â you murmur to him the first day he picks up Yuuji after school, a look of pure melancholy on your face as you stare at him with an unearthly amount of compassion and sympathy. âYuujiâs parents were wonderful people. Iâm really sorry for your loss.â
âWasnât that close with either of them,â he grunts out. You look over at where Yuujiâs gleefully playing on the slide of the playground. Too young and innocent to realize thatâs been ripped away from him. Too naive to understand what it means to grieve. Too hopeful about the world around him to realize just how cruel it can really be.
âOh,â you murmur, nodding slowly.
He thinks that your unnaturally kind demeanor will finally be broken for a split second of judgement. What sort of heartless bastard doesnât feel an ounce of grief for his own brotherâs death? Instead, however, you seem to look at him with some weird sense of wonder.
âYouâre a good uncle for stepping up regardless,â you say softly, âitâs more than what most would do in your shoes.â
âYeah, whatever,â he clicks his teeth, unbearably uncomfortable with how weirdly sentimental this all is. âHeâs just a five year old. How much trouble could he be?â
You raise a brow in amusement, eyeing him like heâs got one hell of a surprise waiting for him. He doesnât like the vague way you hum, âYeah. How could such a little human cause trouble, right?â
âIâve got it under control,â he grumbles, a little annoyed that you seem to think that out of all things, a simple child would be enough to cause Sukuna any issues.
âLet me know if you need anything,â you smile.
Yuuji calls to you from the distance, squealing look what I can do! before he does a rather clumsy spin. Sukuna raises an unimpressed brow. You clap and praise him with an exaggerated gasp of approval.
Itâs oddly endearing, he thinks to himselfâyou, not the kid. The kidâs barely tolerable.
âCâmon, you brat,â Sukuna calls. And then he looks at you and gruffly adds, âAnd I donât need help.â
âOkay,â you grin brightly. It almost feels like youâre saying that a little sarcastically. âIâm sure youâve got this parent thing down.â
Before he can even correct you that heâs an uncle, not parent, Yuuji comes running over on clumsy, short little legs and grabs onto Sukunaâs hand.
âCâmon, Uncle âKuna!â
Sukuna doesnât miss the way your eyes soften. Weirdly enough, he feels this odd sort of squeeze in his chest that doesnât make any sense. Maybe heâs just getting oldâthat has to be it.

DIDN'T GIVE UP đđËâ
pairing; rafe cameron x sweetie!reader
summary; after getting out of rehab, rafe is desperate to be intimate with you, so it feels like his whole world falls apart when heâs unable to arouse himself. but with plenty of commitment and a promise not to give up, he finally manages to succeed, even if itâs not in the way that youâd both wished for
content; talk of addiction and rehab, brief mention of overdose, erectile dysfunction, masturbation, brief handjob
author's note; inspired by a few conversations had over on @starfxkrinc about post rehab rafe. I'm super happy with how this one turned out, I really love exploring these sides of rafe
you hold rafeâs hand as you both walk inside. tonight has been so special, your first date since rafe got out of rehab. it had been intimate and quiet and comfortable. a lovely meal at the local gourmet restaurant filled with gentle loving touches had left you both wanting more, a more that neither of you had had for a while.
even before rehab, rafe had just stopped having sex with you. youâd thought you might get somewhere but then the od happened and heâd needed to go to rehab which meant you didnât even see him for months.Â
youâre both so touch starved, no words need to be spoken before youâre both making your way up to the bedroom, kissing and fumbling with each otherâs clothes, quickly and desperately.
âgodâ missed you so much,â he murmurs, hands on your hips as he backs through the bedroom door, turning and kicking it shut like he always used to when you first started sneaking around together.
you moan softly âme too. missed you rafe.â one of your hands wraps around his neck and the other comes down to palm at him through his pants, his bulge is noticeable but heâs not hard yet. you undo his zipper and touch him through his boxers.
you both move back towards the bed and you pull his dick out, taking it in your hand and starting to jerk him off, but you both notice something. that something being nothing, nothing is happening. his dick isnât doing anything.Â
rafe frowns and you do the same, both of you look down as your hand keeps moving for no reaction. after about thirty seconds rafe steps away, âshit Iâ I didnât know that would happen.â he rubs the back of his neck, âshit⌠shit.âÂ
you step forward and place a hand on his arm, âoh rafe⌠hey Iâm sure its normal.. you did just get outta rehab,â you try to pull him to look at you but he doesnât, he stares straight at the floor and shrugs you off.
âno⌠I.. this happens when Iâm high notâ Iâve been sober for two months.â he exaggerates, you can hear his voice beginning to break. you had considered that this might be an obstacle but you werenât expecting him to react like this, surely all itâs going to take is a bit of trial and error until he can get it up with as much ease as he used to.
though you suppose this must be hard for him. finally getting some normality back and he canât even properly enjoy it. and you know how much he hates to feel emasculated. maybe it is a big deal for him. even though itâs not guaranteed to happen yet, the imminent possibility must have shocked him into a panic.Â
thatâs fine, youâve dealt with rafe under much more serious circumstances.
you step forward, more confident now that you have an idea of what the problem is and how you can solve it. ârafe, sweetie donât panic,â you speak gently, âweâre gonna sort this out okay?âÂ
rafe looks down at you, âsorryâ sorry Iâm.. just wasnât expectinâ it..â he scratches the back of his neck, looking down at his uncovered self. you nod, understanding his distress.
âthatâs okay, it was a surprise huh?â you stroke his arm gently, âyou wanna try again?â you ask gently and he nods shakily, taking a calming breath before letting you guide him to the bed. he sits down first and then you climb on after him, straddling his lap and quickly managing to retain the mood you were in before.
you grind down a little and his hands come to your hips to help your movements like he normally would but heâs quickly letting out an agitated noise and pushing you off. âitâs not working,â he groans in frustration.Â
you pull yourself up to sit next to him. your hand comes to his chest, âoh baby,â you coo as you notice the tears welling in his eyes that heâs so obviously trying to hold back. in his mind not being able to get aroused is bad enough, crying would just make him pathetic.Â
âwhat do you wanna do huh?â you pry, stroking his chest now and coming up to kiss his shoulder. âIâm sure that there are things we can try⌠itâs only been a couple of minutes.â you try to reassure him but youâre pretty sure heâs going to be inconsolable until he can feel confident in himself again. in his mind, a couple of minutes should mean youâre already halfway through round two.
âIâ I donât understand,â he sniffles pitifully, not daring to make eye contact with you as he instead stares down at his completely motionless dick. âthis wasnât supposed to happen anymore.. I- I got sober.âÂ
you kiss him again, âyou did baby, you got sober,â you smile sympathetically, âand this is normal, its normal to have erectile dysfunction after stuff like this.â though that reassurance sets him off more.
âdonâtâ donât call it that,â he snaps ever so slightly, shoulders tensing and momentarily shrugging your hand away, âI donâtâ I canât have a dysfunction, okay itâsâ itâs gotta work.â his voice breaks just a little.
you nod, âokay⌠okay then weâll make it work, okay?â you move your body so that you can look him in the eyes, you bring your hand up to cup his face. âyou just tell me what you need, okay? we can do whatever you want, whatevers gonna help you.âÂ
he thinks for a moment, you can see the cogs in his brain turning behind his eyes as he tries to find something that he thinks may help him. his lips are parted and his cheeks are slightly pink. he eventually seems to come to a conclusion, he hesitates for a moment before speaking tentatively, âcan uh.. can I try doinâ it myself?â
you nod, âyeah, course baby.â you smile, proud of him for being able to articulate his need, âwhere do you want me? should I give you some privacy orââÂ
rafe shakes his head, âcan you stay,â he asks, âplease⌠just.. I really need you to be here.â he tries to avert his eyes, heâs embarrassed, you can tell, he reeks of humiliation and you wish that you could just take it away from him. after all that heâs been through in the past few months you feel this is the last thing he deserves.Â
âIâll stay here,â you affirm, âIâll stay here as long as you need okay? you just do whatever you need to do.â you move with him as his hand comes to grasp yours whilst the other supports him while he shakily manoeuvres himself to half sit half lay against the headboard.Â
you stay on the edge of the bed, keeping a hold of his hand as that is evidently what he wants you to do. his chest rises and falls slowly as he pushes his pants further down and then gently grasps his soft dick.Â
he begins to move tentatively, doing his best to throw his head back and not think about it. you stay quiet, just letting him figure it out for himself.Â
he manages to get it up, a little, you notice a look of clear relief on his face as he relishes in the sensation heâd worried that he wouldnât get back. his movement quickens and then his face falls as he loses it.
you stroke his thumb with your own, âitâs okay baby, just take your time.â you murmur softly as his face scrunches up in annoyance. but he perseveres, hand going back down to try once again.
he tries, he really tries. he tries so many times, over and over again, and to both of your increasing dismay he keeps losing it over and over again too.Â
poor rafe, tears slip down his cheeks and he groans from sadness and surely a little pain at the fact that heâs basically rubbed himself raw down there. his tip is pink and angry, you have half a mind to tell him to stop but you fear he may hurt himself more if he canât manage or stop on his own terms.Â
he huffs sadly. he knows he needs to stop too, âjustâ just one more try.â he says, âone more.â he nods decisively before looking up to you, almost as if to ask for your blessing to just try one more time.Â
of course you nod, âyeah, one more time. youâve got this rafe,â you tell him, squeezing his hand reassuringly with a loving smile, hoping to encourage him to finally get it.Â
rafe starts again, slowly at first and then he builds up his movements, it takes a long few minutes but he manages to get himself hard, fully hard. he grunts and groans and you have to stop yourself from slipping a hand under your own underwear so as not to distract him from his moment.Â
after another long few minutes he practically cries out, then whimpers and then tears of relief fall down his cheeks as he finally cums. itâs not a lot, and it doesnât last long, but it does him good. the feeling simply overwhelms him and he finally feels reassured that he can be normal again.
once heâs ridden it out you wipe the tears from his cheek with your free hand, âhey.â you smile down at him, âwell done, you did so good.â you speak gently, âIâm so proud of you, you didnât give up.âÂ
rafe smiles, his previous humiliation replaced with pure bliss and relief, âyeah,â he nods, sighing breaths of relief, âdidnât give up.â maybe this evening didnât go exactly as expected, but you think, with the circumstances, it turned out okay.

Free use but not really free use with homophobic misogynistic dude bro, who will let you fuck him in the library after a long day of studying for exams not that he has much of an option, at first heâs begging please not here come on anyone can just walk in but he only spreads his legs when you spit on your fingers before you rub them against his rim, reluctantly bends over the table while his eyes are glued to the door, tells you to âjust hurry up or weâll get caught hereâbut heâs painfully hard, cock flush against the wooden table and rubbing against it with every thrust, âmph fuck hurts ah- hurts sirâ but wonât ask you to stop, practically slobbering all over the table while youâre ramming into his cunt, eyes slowly turning bleary and unfocused as he continues to watch the door, the look quickly turning into one of terror when he hears a voice, tries to push you away but heâs stuck in such a compromising position all he can manage is a weak push to the chest, and youâre stood there laughing while the sweet thing is begging you to â pull out please!â
But you refuse to do that, so he does everything in his power to stay quiet - biting down on the palm of his hand or on his lips til it bleeds -while youâre continuously ramming into him, at some point you grow tired of the muffled grunts and groans and tell him you wonât let him cum if he doesnât make some sounds, suddenly you have the sweet thing telling you how good he feels how he loves daddyâs cock even begging and pleading you to let him cum please!,
you watch the last bit of pride slowly be stripped away from him while tears continuously trickle down his cheeks, the only consoling he gets is when you lean into his ear and whisper to him not to worry âyou sound like a girl anywayâ and if someone were to walk in theyâd see him with his back flushed against your chest, his pathetic little cock in the palm of you hand, and this big bad dude who claims he hates gay ppl so much sounding like a girl as he begs to cum on another manâs cock.

sheâs always a woman | max verstappen
an: this fic is a special birthday fic for my lovely friend anto!! happy birthday love!! hope you enjoy your special day <3 also letâs just pretend that lewis wasnât battling max for the championship in 2021 instead itâs max and the reader
tw: jos mention and narcissistic mother
Max couldnât really remember why your friendship ended. He was always there when you needed a shoulder to cry on, when you had a bad race and needed some support, etc. He was always there so when you stopped talking to him, he was confused and hurt.
KARTING DAYS
At the time, the boys you raced against hated being beat by a girl. It was humiliating! A girl was faster than them? No way! But when Max Verstappen saw how fast you were, he was amazed. You made it look so easy.
âHow many trophies do you have now?â Seven year old Max asked you as you two shared a bag of gummy bears, your favorite snack.
âI havenât counted. What about you?â You questioned.
âI havenât counted either.â He replied.
It was a long day of practice and all Max wanted to do was spend time with you and eat gummy bears. He noticed how you only ate certain colors like red, blue, orange and yellow. He asked why only those colors and your response was that those colors were your favorites, all the other colors looked unappetizing.
Spending time with you was something Max loved about karting. Most of the boys you competed with would rather lose than hang out with a girl, but not Max. He liked being around you. And it seemed like you liked having Max around too so it made no sense to Max why you stopped talking to him.
As time went on, Jos Verstappen kept a close eye on you. He certainly didnât want some girl distracting his son. He kept telling Max how much of a bad influence you were, but of course Max didnât listen. Why would he? He liked you and you liked him.
Unlike Max, your motherâs words went to your head.
âHeâs just like the other boys, sweetheart. When you least expect it, heâs going to leave you heartbroken.â Your mother told you one day after another successful win. She watched the way Max stood next to you on the podium and clapped for you.
âBut heâs my friend.â You said lowly.
âWhat did I say about this sport? You are not here to make friends, they are not your friends and neither is he. Heâs competition and if you want to keep winning then you need to keep away from that boy!â
The next time Max saw you, he was the heartbroken one. Every time he kept trying to get your attention, you ignored him and turned the other way.
Did I do something wrong? Maybe I forgot her birthday? No, it was a month ago and we ate chocolate cake together.
All day Max was wondering what he did to make you upset. He had even brought a tiny bag with only red, blue, orange and yellow gummy bears for you. He had spent an hour picking out your favorite gummy bears and now you werenât talking to him. . .
Little Max Verstappen had his first heartbreak at the hands of his first love.
The next day he figured you would start talking to him, but it was like he didnât even exist in your world. He was starting to lose hope.
âGood, now you wonât have any distractions.â Jos told him after Max mentioned how you had stopped talking to him.
âBut she wasnât!â
âShe was.â Jos confirmed.
Max stayed quiet. He knew it was no use trying to argue with his father.
As you both grew up, Max was beside you at every podium even if you werenât on speaking terms. He hoped that maybe one day you would speak to him. He also kept a plastic bag in his bag with your favorite gummy bears to share with you in case that day ever came.
2021 SEASON
Max was both nervous and excited for the last few races of the season. Both you and him were battling for the championship. It was like a dream come true for him, both of you in Formula 1 and now youâre both in the championship picture. He wouldnât have it any other way. To Max, it wouldâve been better if you could at least acknowledge him.
It was after the Brazilian Grand Prix when Max wanted to congratulate you on your win, but had to wait until you finished with your interviews. He was eager to talk to you.
The post-race interviews were a whirlwind, but the moment that caught your attention was when a reporter, eager for a headline, asked you about Max Verstappen.
âWe've heard that you and Max were childhood friends. Whatâs the story there? You two seem to be fierce competitors now. Was there any friendship left between you, or is it all business these days?"
Your smile tightened. It was the last thing you wanted to discuss, but you were a professional, and you knew better than to let your personal life spill over into the press room. Your gaze flicked to the corner where Max was conducting his own interviews, but you quickly refocused on the question.
âMax and I... we were friends, sure," you said coolly, your voice steady but your tone sharp, almost as if you were trying to distance yourself from the memory. "But that was a long time ago. I donât really have time for friendships anymore. Racingâs my focus. It always has been."
âBut you were so close back then," the reporter pressed. "Is it hard to battle him for the title, given your history?"
You shrugged, trying to maintain your composure. "Racing's not about who you used to be friends with. Itâs about whoâs the best right now. And Iâm focused on being the best."
âSo, no hard feelings?" he asked, genuinely curious.
You didnât miss a beat. "No time for feelings," you replied, your lips curling into a faint, almost imperceptible smile. "Just results."
After finishing all your interviews, you walked back to your driverâs room. All you wanted was to lay down and take a much needed nap, but the sweet voice of a Dutchman stopped you. It had been years since you heard Max say your name.
Before you could say anything, Max stood up abruptly and walked toward you, his stride purposeful. He reached out, grabbing your arm with a firm grip, pulling you into your room without a word.
âLet go of me, Max," you whispered, but your voice cracked.
âNo," he said simply, his tone rough, but his eyes were softâsomething in them that you hadnât seen in years. "Iâm not letting you walk away again."
Your heart skipped a beat. His eyes searched yours, that fierce intensity you remembered from your childhood still present, though now mixed with something elseâpain, perhaps. The unspoken hurt you both carried for so long hung between you two.
âMax," you began, but he cut you off.
âWhy did you stop talking to me?" His voice was quieter now, but the question hung in the air, sharp and urgent. âEveryday i asked myself âdid I do something wrong? Did I say something that hurt her?â What is is? Why?â
Your throat tightened. You took a shaky breath, your eyes lowering to the floor. "You were my competition," you muttered. "And my mother⌠she made it clear. She said you would take everything from me. That I needed to stop talking to you or Iâd lose everything." Your chest constricted, and you felt a sudden wave of bitterness rise within you. "She said you were nothing more than a threat to my future, and I had to focusâfocus on winning.â It pained you to even remember all the talks your mother had with you about Max.
Max stared at you for a moment, taking in your words. The silence that followed was thick, the air between them charged with everything unspoken. Then, slowly, he stepped closer.
âI never wanted to take anything from you." His eyes were filled with a quiet sincerity that made your stomach twist. "I never asked for this. I never asked for us to be enemies."
Your breath hitched as a knot formed in your chest. You stepped back, your hands trembling. "But thatâs what she wanted. She wanted me to beat you, to prove I was better. To make sure you didnât have what I could have." Your voice cracked, the words tumbling out in a flood of emotion you had long kept hidden. "Iâ"
Your words faltered as you felt the familiar sting of tears threatening to fall. You tried to hold them back, but the weight of it allâthe pressure, the competition, the years of silenceâwas too much. You turned away, pressing your palms to your face, feeling the dam break inside you.
Max didnât hesitate. He stepped forward, his arms enveloping you in an instant. You stiffened at first, surprised by the warmth and steadiness of his embrace. For a moment, you couldnât breathe, couldn't think. But then, something inside you snapped, and you collapsed into him, your body shaking as the tears finally came.
Max didnât say anything. He didnât need to. He just held you, his hand gently rubbing your back, grounding you in the moment.
"Iâm sorry," you whispered between sobs. âIâm sorry, Iâm so sorry.â You kept repeating.
His grip tightened ever so slightly, as if offering you the comfort and understanding you had been denied for so long. "You didnât deserve any of that." You clung to him, unable to stop the flood of emotions that had been building for years.
Eventually, the tears slowed, and the sobs turned into shallow breaths. Max didnât let go. He stayed, a quiet anchor, as if he would hold you for as long as you needed.
When you finally pulled back, your eyes were swollen, your makeup smudged, but you felt something lighterâsomething like relief, like a door you hadnât realized was closed had finally opened.
âDoes your dad know youâre here?â You wiped away the tears.
âI donât really care about him right now,â Max responded. He took your hand and brought it up to his lips, pressing a kiss to the back of your hand. âYou need me right now.â
âMax, I donât want you to get in trouble. You need to leave.â
âIâm a grown man. He canât tell me who I can and any talk to.â He said.
âThen . . . I donât care what my mother says either,â You declared. âYou know, she said we couldnât talk anymore because you were my competition. That I shouldnât get too close to you. She thought it would make me weak."
âYour mom never understood that... youâre not my competition. You never were. You were my best friend. And I . . . I miss that.â
âIâm not going anywhere, Max.â
QATAR
The camera lights flickered on, and the usual hum of the media circus surrounded Max Verstappen as he sat in front of the press. Another victory under his belt, but the atmosphere in the room felt different todayâslightly more tense than usual. The 2021 season was in full swing, and the rivalry between Max and his childhood best friend and fellow F1 driver, had become one of the most talked-about stories of the year.
âMax, earlier this week, someone that you knew quite well was quoted saying, âNo time for feelings, just results,â when talking about your past friendship. Given the intensity of your current rivalry, how do you feel about that statement?â
He took a breath and leaned forward, his voice steady but laced with an undeniable undercurrent of emotion.
âsheâs one of the most focused and driven people I know. I donât think anyone truly understands what itâs like to be in her headâhow much racing means to her. Sheâs an artist, in every sense of the word, when it comes to driving. She doesnât do anything halfway.â
A brief silence fell over the room. Max seemed to weigh his next words carefully.
âWeâve both been through a lot over the years, and yeah . . . I get why she said what she did. This sport can make you say things you donât always mean. It can make you choose thingsâlike cutting ties with people who used to be your family, just so you can win. But trust me, itâs not easy for her. Or for me.â
His voice softened slightly, the edge of competition giving way to something more genuineâsomething rooted in your shared history.
âSheâs not the kind of person to just forget about things or people. I know her better than anyone,â He continued. It was as if he could talk about you all day and never get bored. âAs for the championship, yeah, Itâs just the way it is. But that doesnât change the fact that I respect her more than anyone. Sheâs a hell of a driver, and I know what sheâs capable of.â
Max leaned back slightly, the cool exterior of the driver once again overtaking his emotions. He was a fighter. And this season, he wasnât just fighting for the title.
ABU DHABI
It had been weeks since your last conversation with Max, but occasionally you would sneak glances at each other. Maybe even smile at him, which caused the media to wonder if your friendship had finally been restored.
The paddock was bustling with the usual pre-race energyâteam members darting around, engineers checking telemetry, and drivers preparing for what would be a pivotal race. But Max Verstappen was not focused on the usual chaos. He was standing in front of your motorhome, his jaw clenched as he faced a woman who had been an obstacle in his life for far too long: you mother.
All he wanted to do before the race was to wish you good luck but he had one problem that came in the form of your mother.
âThis is a pivotal moment for her career, Max. The championship is on the line. She needs to focus.â Your mother spoke.
Maxâs eyes narrowed. âShe doesnât need you to tell her how to focus. Sheâs not a child anymore. Sheâs not your puppet.â
She smirked, her gaze calculating. âOh, I know exactly how to handle her. You, on the other hand, have always been a distraction. Just like you were when you were kids. I told her back then that you were competition. And look where we are nowâcompeting for the championship.â
Max took a step forward, his voice low but sharp. âYou donât get to control her anymore. She doesnât deserve the way you treated her. She never did. Sheâs not some tool for you to use to further your own agenda. Sheâs a person. A damn good one, too.â
Your mother raised an eyebrow, her lips curling into a smug grin. âAnd now you think you have feelings for her? After all these years? Youâre wasting your time, Max.
Maxâs chest tightened, a sudden rush of frustration coursing through him. He had always felt something for youâsomething deep and complicatedâbut he hadnât realized how much until he saw you again. How could he not? The way you made him laugh, the way you understood him in a way no one else did. The way your presence grounded him when the world felt chaotic.
âIâm not wasting my time,â Max snapped, his voice rising. He was no longer just angry; there was something more vulnerable beneath his words. âI... I care about her. More than youâll ever understand. And Iâm not going to just stand by and watch you tear her down again.â
Her eyes widened, the smugness on her face faltering for just a moment. She hadnât expected that. But she quickly recovered, her icy demeanor back in place. âYou think you can just waltz in and change everything, Max? You think sheâs going to forget the way Iâve always looked out for her?â
Maxâs pulse was racing now. âYouâve never looked out for her. Youâve held her back. Youâve made her feel like she couldnât trust herself. Do you know how many times sheâs questioned her worth because of you?â
Before your mother could reply, Max spoke again. âIf you think for a second that Iâm going to back off now, youâre wrong.â
Your mother glared at the Dutchman. âIâve spent years in Formula 1, fighting for every ounce of respect, and now Iâm fighting for her, too. And Iâm not letting anyoneâleast of all youâtell me what I can or canât feel about her.â
His words hung in the air between them, the weight of them settling in. He turned to leave, but paused at the door of your motorhome, looking back one last time.
âTell her,â Max said, softer now, âTell her Iâll be waiting at the finish line. Iâll always be waiting.â
Maybe your mother would pass on the message, maybe not. Either way, Max would still be waiting for you.
The roar of the crowd still echoes in the distance, but itâs muffled, almost surreal, as you stand behind the barriers, your helmet under your arm, heart still racing from the intensity of the race. The buzz of the paddock feels far away, and your body is heavy with exhaustion and disappointment. You finished secondâclose, but not close enough. Max had done it. Heâd won the championship, after all the drama and all the battles that had led them to this final, decisive moment.
You lift your eyes and see him, standing by his car. Max, in his usual composed way, looking like he belongs there, like he's always belonged there, standing among the team and the media, all his focus, all his attention fixed on you. A smile tugs at the corner of his lips when he spots you, but itâs the way heâs standing, waiting, that hits you. Like he said he would.
You hesitate for a moment, thinking about your motherâs words, about everything that has always been said about Maxâhis arrogance, his rivalry, the fact that heâs always been competition. But this, here, this feels like something different. Heâs not the enemy anymore. At least, not in the way they used to think of each other.
You take a breath, and then, almost instinctively, you walk toward him. As you step closer, you hear the whisper of her motherâs voice in the back of your mind, a warning youâve heard so many times before. Stay focused. Donât let him distract you. Heâs your competition, not your friend.
But your steps donât falter. You reach him, and when you do, you look up at him, your gaze soft, not the hardened competitive stare it once was. Maxâs grin deepens, though itâs filled with something almost bittersweet.
âI heard you were waiting for me,â You said, the words slipping out before you can stop them. Your voice is steady, but thereâs a touch of vulnerability in it, something you canât quite mask.
Maxâs eyes soften, and for a moment, it feels like time pauses. He looks at you as if heâs not seeing the driver, the fierce competitor, but the girl he used to knowâthe one he used to race against in karting, the one who once shared the same dream, the one who still, in some ways, understands him better than anyone else.
âI told you I would,â he replies quietly, his voice low and calm. âI wasnât going anywhere.â
Your mind flashes back to the words he said to your mother, the promise he madeâIâll always be waiting.
âYou won. Congratulations.â
Maxâs expression doesnât change, but thereâs a certain warmth in the way he looks at you, a quiet understanding that goes beyond just racing. He takes a step closer, his voice a little softer now. âYouâre better than you think. I have a feeling youâll take it away from me next year.â
You shake your head, but thereâs no bitterness in your gesture. âNext year,â you repeat. Your fingers press the edge of your helmet tighter, almost like youâre grounding herself in this moment. But thereâs something else tooâa sense of peace you havenât felt in a long time. âMaybe. But Iâm just glad youâre here.â
Maxâs smile is genuine now. âIâll always be here. Waiting for you to finally beat me.â
You laughâa real laugh this time, one thatâs not forced. âMaybe Iâll take you up on that one day,â you say, your voice a little lighter. âYou should go with your team, Iâm sure theyâre waiting to drown you in champagne.â
Max chuckles, then steps forward. For a moment, itâs just the two of you, standing in the midst of the chaos, everything else fading into the background. You breathe in, realizing just how much thisâthis momentâmatters more than the championship itself.
âSo, Max, youâve just won the title, but thereâs a lot of talk about your competitor. Sheâs been called âtoo emotionalâ in the past by some. Whatâs your take on how she handled this title fight?â
Max turns towards the reporter, a protective energy surging in him. He absolutely hated doing interviews, all he wanted to do was get back to you. âWell, for one, I think anyone who says sheâs âtoo emotionalâ is clearly not paying attention. Sheâs one of the most focused drivers out there. Honestly, anyone who thinks you can compete in this sport at the level weâve been at, especially in the last few races, without being deeply passionateâwell, they donât understand what it takes.â He glances over at you, whoâs trying to hide a smile while also looking frustrated with the question.
While you were a few feet away from him doing your own interview, you could hear Max. You tried hard to listen to the interview questions, but all you wanted to do was listen to what Max had to say.
âisnât it a bit too much? The way she gets in her own head. Sheâs beenâwell, letâs just say, a bit of a perfectionist this season.â
Max shook his head, chuckling at the reporters words. âBut, you know, thatâs exactly why sheâll be winning a championship someday soon. I have no doubt about it, but Iâm excited for the day she takes my championship away.â
Max could hear you burst into laughter at his words. His smile grew ten times bigger. âSeriously, though, sheâs one of the most talented drivers Iâve ever known. sheâll steal the show when you least expect it. And maybe sheâs a little bit hard to understand at times, but thatâs exactly what makes her great.â
The reporter nodded. âAre you saying sheâs like, uh, the Billy Joel song?â He asked confused.
Max grinned, clearly amused by the confusion. âSheâs always a woman to me. Maybe Iâm not the best person to explain it, but you get the idea.â
You chuckled once again as you heard Max. He really had a way with words.
âAnd one day, Iâll be watching her take the title with the same respect I have for her right now.â
Thatâs when you decide to step in after finishing your interview. âMaybe, Max. But for now, I think I'll let you have your moment. Youâve earned it.â
âWe both did. I owe it all to you.â

brazil, my heart | m.v.
synopsis: in which Max finally makes a statement during the Brazilian GP
a/n: based on this request!
my masterlist
Your lip was stuck between your teeth as the whole garage waited anxiously for the start of the race.
The weather had kept everyone on their toes ever since the Sprint race had finished, and it seemed to be set on continuing to do so during the race.
Frankly, it wasn't something that you were very much keen on.
You were very tired, having woken up at 5 am to join Max at the track for the early Qualifying session from 7:30, you didn't want to take a nap after Max was done with Qualifying so you could talk to him, but now you were slowly starting to regret it.
Your nerves were stretched thin as you anxiously watched the 5 lights turn on one by one, your heart jumping in your ribcage once they went out and everyone lunged forward.
"Max up to P11" GP's voice suddenly rang through your headset, making you finally let out a sigh you hadn't realized you had been holding.
Max had long ago come to an agreement with his race engineers to do his best to keep you in the loop with regular updates because he knew you sometimes got too nervous or scared to actually watch the race.
The weather really didn't help your nerves, either.
You were always afraid for Max in dry conditions, but seeing him race in this rain and with the low grip level on the track, let's just say you were gonna have a lot more gray hairs by the time the race is over, which feels like a lifetime away.
Wet racing was often known to be one of Max's best conditions for racing, but it also meant more dangerous conditions.
Seeing the spray that the cars would leave behind, just having to imagine having to drive at such high speeds with water in your face, barely able to see anything, desperately trying to keep the car on track. There was no room for any mistake, no matter how little.
You trusted Max and his abilities, but that didn't mean you weren't still gonna be worried out of your ass for him.
"Red flag. Max is coming into the garage" GP's voice snapped you out of your thoughts, your stance immediately perking up at the sound of the news.
You waited until the cars had come into the pitlane to take off your set of headphones and make your way outside of the garage, anxiously waiting to see your boyfriend emerge from his car.
The moment you had laid eyes on him coming towards you, you hurriedly started walking over to him, not caring about any of the engineers or frankly anyone else from his team.
You only cared about making sure he was okay.
Just to ease your mind and worries.
"Hey babe-" Max barely got a word in before you jumped straight into his embrace, wrapping your arms around his neck tightly.
He grunted, but returned the tight hug, careful not to squash your head with his helmet.
You buried your head into his shoulder as best as you could, your heart racing as you finally felt him under your fingertips, okay and all in one piece.
âIâm never joining you at the track for another wet race ever again. Iâve had 4 panic attacks until nowâ you said, half joking and half telling the truth.
Max laughed, his arms tightening around your waist.
He knew how much you worried about him every time he would get into the car, and he also knew how much you hated the wet races. And he couldnât blame you, but he was the best in those conditions, so you had nothing to worry about on his end.
âIs it that bad?â he asked, looking at his engineer over your shoulder who gave him a short and worried nod.
âItâs worse. I donât know how you guys can see the track in front of your eyes from all that sprayâ you said, slowly letting go of him and stepping back from his arms.
Max pulled up his visor and smiled at you, the crinkles by his eyes telling you everything you needed to know.
âHey, Iâve got this. Donât worry about me, Iâm driving the race of my life out there and everything is okay. I love you and Iâll come back to you in one pieceâ he said, holding our face in his gloved hands.
You bit your lip and studied him for a little while before nodding, giving him one last hug before he was pulled away by his engineers to go over data.
Running a hand through your already disheveled hair, you slowly made your way back into the garage, occupying your seat and putting your headphones back on.
Half more of this torture to go.
âĄâĄâĄâĄâĄ
The tears were falling down your cheeks before you could even think about stopping them, before the race was even close to being over.
Even though you couldn't see him, you could imagine what was going on behind Max's helmet, what feelings were going through his mind as he was leading the race towards victory.
Those last few laps seemed like they were taking forever, but then he finally crossed the finish line and took the checkered flag in first position.
You didn't think it was possible, but a new wave of tears started falling down your eyes, sobs racking through your body.
"P1, He's done it, Y/N" GP's voice rung through your ears, but you didn't care for any of it.
The only thing you cared about was seeing Max.
You got up from your chair and put the headphones on a table in front of you, your legs carrying you fast towards where his car was parked.
"Max!" you yelled just as he took off his helmet, his smile radiating as he started walking towards you.
You didn't waste a second before you flung your arms around his neck and jumped into his arms, wrapping your legs around his waist as Max squeezed you close.
"I did it" he whispered into your ear, the smile evident in his voice.
You nodded, burying your face into the crook of his neck as you clung onto his body.
"I'm so proud of you" you murmured, pressing little kisses on his neck and his cheek.
Nothing could ever beat this feeling, being right there in your arms after winning a much-awaited Grand Prix.
Nothing could be better than that for him.

Arcane imagine.
arcane characters react to you confessing your feelings to them.
characters included: Mel medarda, Caitlyn, vi, jinx, sevika
warnings: mutual pinning, yearning, fluff, slight angst, happy ending, implied smut, flirting, kissing, yeah .
Mel medarda;
You've been crushing on Mel for the longest time, you don't even know when it started, as you two have known each other for a while now, you both were kinda friends, you were never really sure, but you always felt so close to her
She had felt the same, she liked sticking by your side, hearing about your day, your projects, what you are thinking, anything, she loved listening to you talk
It was the one thing that made her day better, and seeing your face of course
It happened so suddenly, these feelings you'd never expect just came to you, Mel was just there, and you fell in love
Not that anyone could blame you, really, she's a goddess
you always wondered why on earth she'd spend time with you, someone so beautiful, so perfect, that you can't help but always admire, no matter the time and place
When you're anxious, you think of Mel, she makes everything better
When you're alone, you think of Mel
When you're with mel, you think of her
When you spot a pretty flower, you think of Mel
One time, you unintentionally picked a couple of flowers, making them look all pretty as you practically skipped your way to where Mel would be. But she wasn't alone, jayce was there, another boy she was working with
You thought they looked close, and you started to back away from them, your heart sinking, you felt your throat get tight, god, you felt so stupid, of course she would like a man like jayce, why would she ever like you? You were always just going to be her friend
Later that same day, it had turned to night, you spent the rest of the day in bed, ignoring everything and everyone, you were hurt, confused, annoyed with yourself
You just wanted it all to go away
When you heard a knock at your door, and your eyes widened, you looked up, you were about to tell them to go away, whoever it was, that's when you heard a familiar voice
"hey, it's me."
It was Mel's.
You wanted so badly to ignore her, for her to just walk away, but you knew she wasn't going to do that, you closed your eyes and signed, eventually getting up as you walked towards the door and opened it for her
"what do you want? I'm trying to sleep..." You said, hating how you sounded speaking to her. You watched the way Mel frowned, how she looked so worried, her hand reached out and you flinched, she didn't show how much that saddend her.
"you didn't join me for dinner, I was worried. I had came to check on you, oh! I should tell you on what Jayce and I have been up to so far-"
You shook your head, turning away as your back faced her, "I don't wanna hear about him."
That was all Mel needed to hear.
She smiled, stepping closer to you as she wrapped her arms around you, pulling you in, you tried to protect but nothing came out and she wasn't letting you go anyways
There was no point
"tell me what's wrong, I know what you're like when you try and push others away, don't do that to me, please" she murmured, her voice soft and calming in your ears as you stared at the ground
you felt your eyes water
"I like you, Mel" you sniffled, you were ready for her to leave, for your friendship to be over. "I've always liked you Mel, more than how friends should like one another, I just I was so scared. But then I saw you with Jayce, and I got jealous, I grew distant, because I couldn't face you, I couldn't look at you in the eyes the same, knowing that he can be better for you than I could ever be."
For a moment, you didn't hear anything, you still heard her breathing from behind you as your heart thumped loudly in your chest.
Then she forced you to turn around and look into her eyes as her hand grabbed your chin, "you mean more to me than anyone could ever be, Why would you think such things?, you're more than my friend, you're my love, my laughter, my everything, this is all I ever wanted to hear from you" Mel said, she smiled so brightly, she looked gorgeous, you wanted to kiss her
You caressed her cheek with her hand, "can... Can I?" You were hesitant to ask, she chuckled, crashing her lips against yours, you melted into the kiss, wanting to stay here forever and ever, she tasted like strawberries and honey, you never wanted to get rid of that taste
Caitlyn;
Caitlyn knew there was something off about you the moment you stopped talking to her as much like you usually would
She found it strange, so unlike you, she looked forward to seeing you whenever she could and hear your voice
But as of lately, she's been alone and missing a certain someone, you
She's been talking to Jayce and wondering what to do and how she can help you if there is anything going on, she'd want to help, she was your friend, your best friend even
So it hurt her when you suddenly stopped hanging out with her
She couldn't stop thinking about you, if she had done anything to cause this, she was freaking herself out
She had even gone to Viktor and ask for his advice, he was sort of helpful, but it wasn't like he was cupid and had the best advice for crushing on your friend
Caitlyn missed you, a lot
She went to your place to find you, surprisingly, you weren't there, she looked at the library, she didn't see you, eventually, she did find you, sitting outside by a tree, you looked so pretty, she couldn't help but admire, she ran up to you, excited, she needed to be around you again
"Cait?..." You said, looking surprised, she wasn't sure why you would be, she didn't say anything and just hugged you tightly
You hugged her back
"where have you been? I've been looking everywhere for you, you had me worried" Caitlyn's words came out rushed, you smiled at her.
"can you sit with me?" You asked.
She happily did.
"what's going on? Did something happen?-"
"Cait, let me speak."
You had cut her off before she could even finish asking more, she immediately shut up, she knew you needed to take your time to gather your words, she wanted to touch you again, but she restrained herself
"there's been a lot on my mind, that's why I haven't seen you, but I need to tell you something" you said, she can see the way you were fidgeting with your fingers, a thing you do when you're nervous, then you just randomly stood up, pacing back and forth.
"whatever you have to tell me won't be that bad-" Caitlyn tried to reassure, still you didn't listen
"I like you" you shouted at her, she blinked.
"you what?" She muttered, still processing your words
"I know this was a bad idea to tell you how I really felt, but I had to, I couldn't not tell you, I really fucking like you, Caitlyn" you said, it almost looked like you were on the verge of tears
Caitlyn stood up, you stared up at her expecting the worst, but then she cupped your face and kissed you
That alone told you enough of what she really meant, as you kissed her back, smiling
Vi;
You have always liked Vi for as long as you've known her, that wasn't anything new, anyone who's ever met you knows about your crush on her, except for one person, Vi
She's always claimed not to be an oblivious person, but people who know her also know that's obvious to see from a mile away
Vi has always been a good friend to you, more than anyone has ever been
Ekko, one of your other friends, has been telling you to confess your crush to Vi for years, yeah, it's not something that's new, you two have known each other for ages, Ekko has been through it all witnessing it, and he just wants you to tell her already
"Ekko, I don't know. I don't wanna ruin what I have with her" you muttered, the two of you were hanging out one night, catching up over snacks and games, you hear him chuckle
"you won't, trust me. I wouldn't be telling you to do this if I wasn't sure."
He was right about that. You've always trusted Ekko no matter what it is, he's always had a good heart
and almost most of the time he was always right
Just maybe things will go okay, if you told Vi how you really feel, she won't stop being your friend, but the fact that everyone else can see your crush on her except for her you just weren't sure
Even when you think you know her, you still can't wrap your head around her
You had planned to tell her this Friday night, where you know she'd always meet at your hangout spot, you wanted to make it look pretty, make it feel special, also it was an excuse to distract yourself from what tonight was actually for
Ekko had helped picked out the music, Vi has always liked metal and punk rock, you were sure in another lifetime she would be in a band
you had gotten the snacks, her favorites and yours, including the drinks and the gift you wanted to give her, you've set up a blanket and pillows down for you both
Your heart felt like it was beating so hard it could rip out of your chest any minute
You checked the time and your eyes widened, she was going to be here any second, fuck
You tried to stop pacing around, before you knew it she had arrived right on time, she greeted you with a smile and immediately hugged you, your cheeks warmed as you hugged her back, god you missed her so much
"what's the special occasion?" She asks with a raised eyebrow, biting her cherry as she laid down onto the blankets. "Everything looks so nice, and you got me my favorites? You spoil me."
You smiled, sitting down with her as you contemplated even telling her how you really felt, with how pretty she looks right now, you so badly wanted to kiss her
"I may have something" you said, finally able to get your words together. "Actually yes, I need to tell you something, vi" you hated how you were stuttering, you bit down on your bottom lip as you avoided her gaze.
"what's up, angel?" She said with a grin, she's always called you that, it's been her personal nickname made for you, it's always made you flustered
"Vi, I like... " You paused, trying to actually look into her eyes without looking away, "I like you."
Vi smiled, she looked like she didn't get it at first
"I like you to, angel" she chuckled.
You shake your head.
"no, vi, I actually like like you, I wanna be your girlfriend."
God you couldn't believe you actually told her
you waited for her to reject you, to just stand up and leave, but she didn't do any of that, instead Vi pulled you in closer, pressing her lips to yours as she kissed you hard, you gasped into her mouth, processing whats happening, that she's kissing you, her lips feel so soft against your own, your hand reached up to cup her face
She pulled away, letting you two have a moment to catch your breath as you felt ecstatic, "vi..."
"I've always liked you too, I'm glad you told me. I was actually planning on telling you myself, I didn't know when but you bet me to it, I'm glad you did, because this was the best, it was perfect."
You smiled, leaning in as your nose brushed against hers, she grabbed you by the shirt, making you fall into her as the night was not over just yet
Jinx;
Jinx had always been by your side for as long as you've known her, you have always been by hers, and she's always been by yours, that's just how you two were, when you met, it was an instant click, it was rare for jinx to experience that, so she kept you by for as long as she can
She loves everything about you, your entire personality, how no matter what you always make her day better, you were different, you meant a lot to her
She meant a lot to you as well
More than she'd ever know
Despite all that was happening, what you two have been through, you have always defended her, even when you didn't have to
She appreciates that, even if she doesn't tell you herself
It's like you somehow knew
She needed you, when Vi left, she needed you the most
You were one of the very few that stuck around, and you weren't going anywhere anytime soon
Jinx notices something was up when you weren't showing up to her place like you'd usually be, you were always around, as of late, she didn't see much of you
She wondered why
Did she do something wrong? Are you finally realizing you're better off without her?
No, she couldn't think like that
She was able to easily find you again, you were standing by yourself on an edge, she was concerned, extremely worried, she was so happy to see you again, but she knew she shouldn't rush you
"hey" you said, she didn't even say anything yet you knew she was here
"hi" she smiled, "what are you doing out here? It's cold" she starts to take off her jacket, she always gave you something to wear even if you don't need it right then
You let her put it on
You've always looked so pretty in her clothes
"you know, you'd be a good model, definitely have the body for it" she chuckles with a grin, unable to keep her eyes off you. She saw the way you looked down, how you smiled, she felt proud of that, a little bit cocky too. "You okay? You wanna tell me what's up? You've been avoiding me. You know how I am when people try to ignore me" she couldn't help but pout.
You turn to face her, finally looking at her, she smiles at the sight of you. "I know, I'm sorry about that, a lot has been on my mind. Jinx, there's something I have to tell you, I can't hide it anymore."
She frowned, unsure of what you meant, were you planning on leaving her? Moving away forever? Was she not going to be able to see you ever again? So many thoughts clouded her
But what you told her was nothing she was expecting
"I like you, Jinx, for so long, I've liked you, and no, not in the platonic way, yes, that too, I mean you've meant something more to me for a long time" you said, staring into her gaze as her mouth hangs open, you what?
She rushes to you, wrapping her arms around you tightly as she feels like she could almost cry, good tears this time, her heart was beating so fast she laughed loudly
"why didn't you tell me sooner?" She grinned, cupping your face with both of her hands like you were her entire world, you are, you've always been. "I've liked you since forever, idiot, jeez, finally one of us came clean about it. I was gonna make a dramatic reveal to you but this was so you. I like it. I really like you too. A lot. Please be mine."
And you happily did, you kissed her, that night was the best night of your lives.
Sevika;
Sevika wasn't an easy woman to read, some people have found it hard to even get under her skin, find out what makes her tick, what makes her squirm, loose balance
But you'd be a fool to test her
Then again, you were always known to be a foolish one
When people see you two together, they can't see it, you were brighter, much bubbly, always smiling then there was Sevika, scary, intimating, will kill you with one look
You two were total opposites, no one could understand how you worked so well together
But you just made it work
You were the book smart to Sevika's street smart, which is why silco partnered you with his most trusted a lot, she couldn't exactly argue with it at first, she still did, complaining about having to babysit you, despite the fact that she wasn't that much older than you anyways
Okay, maybe by a few years older, but you didn't need a god damn babysitter
She knew how to piss you off, and you knew how to annoy her as well
It went back and forth, at first, you two fought a lot, there were a lot of misunderstandings, people were even nervous to get in between you both, you two were just so loud about everything that only silco can shut you both up
Eventually, after a while, a long while, things started to settle, and Sevika understood why silco picked you
She knew he wouldn't pick any random person, he had his reasons
Then something weird started to happen, she grew more protective over you, sure, she knew she was already protective of those she cared most, but you, she wasn't sure about, it just happened all of a sudden, if anyone was bothering you, hell, if anyone tried to hurt you, hell would be unleashed
Jinx would always mock her of how much she protects you and will do anything for you, Sevika tries to fight it, her stubbornness winning, but as soon as she sees you, her walls are being cut down, forced to let you see her, as she watches you from afar, admiring your work and talents, how much dedication and time you put into things, she's actually impressed by you
The first time she ever complimented you had you feeling all giddy for weeks, months even, you wanted nothing more than to be praised by her again
Jinx was over it
How much you talked about her, how pretty she is, she'd literally gagged at how love sick you were about her, she was so tempted to shove you both in a closet to hurry the hell up and get it over with
But she knew sevika would kill her
Then again, she's reached a point where she couldn't care less
When Jinx was able to get you two alone together to finally actually talk things out, she did, she was gonna make it work, even if she had to be dramatic and pull a little strings
She would live with the fact that Sevika was gonna be pissed at her for a long time, possibly forever if this goes terribly wrong, but she doubts it would
It was a late Saturday night, everyone was still awake and hanging around, Sevika was sitting at the bar, right where Jinx told her where to meet, Jinx watched as you finally showed up, looking all nice as she grinned, walking away from it, letting it all play out
"Sevika?" You muttered, confused to see her there
But fuck did she look good
She frowned at the sight of you, about to say something, but her words fell flat at what you were wearing, you looked beautiful
Like really fucking gorgeous
"you look... Nice."
Your cheeks warmed at that, hearing her compliment you as you looked away from her gaze that was too intense for you
"yeah, I was told you'd be here... Jinx told me you wanted to speak to me about something important."
Then it clicked to her.
"fuckin' jinx" she groaned, shoving her glass away. "She set us up."
"what?" You said, dumbfounded, going to sit next to her.
There was a pause, you stared in the distance, distracted, she stared at you more, admiring your features, how pretty you looked in that dress
She's never seen you wear something so formal
It suited you
She bit down on her bottom lip, all of a sudden feeling nervous to speak
"how do you feel about us?" You asked, still not looking at her, she frowned
"us?" She repeated.
You nodded, turning your head to look at her in the eyes
"yeah, me and you. We're a good team, you make a good partner" you say. She felt her heart skip a beat, what the fuck was happening? Why were you being so nice to her?
"what is it" she muttered, "just tell me what you want."
"huh?" You looked confused.
"fuckin' hell" she groaned, running a hand through her hair. "Tell me."
"I like you" you spat out before you could even think.
She raised an eyebrow at you.
"say that again?."
"sevika" you sighed, she liked the way her name sounded coming from your lips, she wanted to hear it again. "This is already awkward as fuck, I like you, okay, fuck, I never hated you, well, maybe at some point I disliked you, at the start, but even then, you're a goddess, fucking look at you, your stunning, anyone would fall for that."
That took her off guard, definitely not what she was expecting
"if you want to cuss me out and stop being partners I'll accept I-"
She shut you up with her lips, pressing herself into you as you almost fell off your stool. She grabbed onto you as you held on tight, kissing her hard, as you moaned into her mouth.
After a while, she didn't want to stop kissing you, neither did you want to stop, you both broke away breathless, pressing your foreheads against each others
"come to mine?" She says with a smile
It's not often you see Sevika smile
"lead the way."

"No One Mourns the Wicked" is about Glinda, not Elphaba
Okay, but hear me out. Wicked songs are so good at saying one thing and meaning something entirely different once you have more context. For instance, "I'm Not That Girl" is Elphaba singing about Glinda initially, then in Act 2 flips to Glinda singing about Elphaba. Because it turns out, Elphaba IS that girl and Glinda is not. When we meet the Wizard, he sings about how he always wanted to be a father. When you get to Act 2, you get the sad little reprise in the background music as he realizes that WHOOPS, he was one and he destroyed his only kid. "Defying Gravity" starts with "I hope you're happy" in the sarcastic sense and ends with them both using the same phrase to genuinely wish one another well.
"Thank Goodness" is set up as a cheerful engagement song where Glinda genuinely means "thank goodness for how great my life is" and ends in a place where she's insisting that she IS happy even as she realizes her engagement is a sham, her best friend is gone, and she's left with the Wizard and Madame M, who she doesn't even like.
You get the picture.
Basically, the whole musical is about subverting what you expect, starting with the base premise of "what if the Wicked Witch was the hero of the story" and digging in from there.
Honestly, I'd never paid much attention to the first song. It's a good opener, sets things up well, but it has some big competition with later songs. However, in the movie the staging and camera choices made me really notice it for the first time. Because you know what? Someone DID pay attention to that song, and you can really really tell.
For those who need a refresher, the lyrics to the chorus Glinda sings are: And Goodness knows The Wicked's lives are lonely Goodness knows The Wicked die alone It just shows when you're Wicked You're left only On your own I was always so busy noticing Glinda's grief over thinking Elphaba was genuinely dead that I failed to notice Glinda's grief over her OWN fate. The movie did such a good job with this because every time we get to the pink lines about being alone, Glinda IS alone. She is standing apart from the crowd who adores her. Standing above them. Standing at the center of a bunch of people yet still, isolated.
Because in the end, we know that Elphaba DIDN'T die alone. We know she wasn't on her own. We know her life WASN'T lonely ultimately. She had her flying monkey and animal friends. She had Fiyero.
And who does Glinda have?
Everyone, but realistically, no one. She is an ideal, not a person to most of Oz, just as much as Elphaba has become the token scapegoat. Where Elphaba is the "Wicked Witch," Glinda is "Glinda the Good Witch" - she is literally supposed to be the embodiment of goodness.
And what does Glinda have at the end of this whole thing (as of this song at least)? A disastrous end to her engagement, the death of her best friend, a sorceress who has hated her, demeaned her, and dismissed her from the start, and a con man who is also just a symbol more than a person.
I think it really hit me when Glinda throws the fire on the giant effigy of Elphaba. Ariana's acting was SO good there, because I'd expected us to see that private moment of horror or regret. What I didn't expect was the sort of determined and almost angry glare at the effigy.
But it makes sense. At this point, Glinda has realized that she lost everything and everyone she actually cared about.
As she so aptly puts it in "Thank Goodness"...
Though it is, I admit The tiniest bit Unlike I anticipated. But I couldn't be happier, Simply couldn't be happier, Well, not "simply" 'Cause getting your dreams It's strange, but it seems A little, well, complicated.
There's a kind of a sort of cost. There's a couple of things get lost. There are bridges you cross You didn't know you crossed Until you've crossed!
And if that joy, that thrill Doesn't thrill like you think it will Still-- With this perfect finale, The cheers and the ballyhoo! Who wouldn't be happier? So I couldn't be happier, Because happy is what happens When all your dreams come true.
Well, isn't it?
Happy is what happens when you're dreams come true.
It's not Elphaba's fault that Glinda has ended up this way. Glinda chose it every step of the way. Yet, if Glinda had never met Elphaba, (if she'd never known her, you could say), she might have stayed shallow and vain. She might never have been challenged to look deeper and realize how empty it all felt.
So as Glinda sings "No One Mourns the Wicked," she realizes that even if the Munchkins are singing about the "Wicked Witch," she's not.
She's singing about herself.
The one who traded her morals, friendship, and love for a taste of the admiration and power over those who don't really know her. The one who was so worried about being likable that she herself doesn't like who she's become.
Even after she makes things better for Oz and herself by sending the wizard away and getting rid of Madame M, it just leaves Glinda by herself as the leader and source of goodness in Oz. It leaves her on a pedestal she can never step off of.
It leaves her lonely.
Entirely alone.

As somebody who actually enjoyed the books as a child, it actually really just ruined them for me when I grew up and realized that the author hates trans people. Like, I'm still into Sailor Moon as an adult. I don't give a shit if someone likes childish things; that's not what this is about. I just felt really let down by JKR in particular. Not that I ever idolized her or anything, but still, it sucks when something you really liked as a child turns out to be associated with... well, you guys get it.
How do you create something that once brought so much joy to so many people and then turn out to be such an unrepentant asshole? I don't know, but she makes it look easy.
Welp, if JK Rowling being executive producer and therefore being fully involved in the show wasn't enough for people to boycott, then here's HBO basically saying they don't care JK Rowling is a bigot from hell who literally helped lead a harassment campaign of lies against Imane Khalif in her transphobia and obsession with women being terf's standards of women alongside posting harassment against trans people on twitter at times, they gonna stand by her, while using the excuse, "personal views". Hmm, yes, personal views- that's one way to uh, call what the fuck JK Rowling comes out with a-lot- last I checked personal views do come with consquiences if said out loud....a thousand times in JK's case and still counting....especially if they hurt people, but hey, if it means making another Harry Potter project to milk, just let it fucking be I guess.

thinking about this for no reason tonightâŚquinn getting home extra pissed bc he got ejected and you arenât helping, prancing around in only his jersey doing everything you can to get him to take his anger out on you again
you watched the whole thing happen from the tv in the hotel room, choosing to stay in tonight because it was so cold out. you hate to say it, but you were turned on the second you saw him looking down at the player on the ice, jabbing his stick around after the play had already stopped.
you knew heâd be back early, having already texted you that heâs forgoing any media because he just wants a hot shower and some greasy take out. you had other plans, however. you knew heâd have some pent up feelings. he always tries to hide how frustrated he really is, not wanting to set a bad example for any young captains or players watching. so, you decide to use it to your advantage.
you strip yourself from your clothes, walking over and rummaging through quinnâs game bag. you find the clean, black, skate jersey tucked away inside, and slip it over your bare body. you sprawl yourself out across the large bed, jersey ridden up just enough so your ass peeks out. you lay there in wait, wanting to be nothing more than his stress reliever tonight.
when he finally makes his way into the room, he tosses his bag down at the door and stalks towards the bathroom. he doesnât even look your way, shutting the door and turning the shower on. shock and disappointment clouds your features, a small bit of embarrassment settling in your stomach. you stay put, though. waiting. surely when he sees you, heâll pounce.
he emerges from the small bathroom twenty minutes later, towel wrapped around his waist. he looks at you on the bed, noticing your state.
âwhy are you wearing my skate jersey?â he asks, not hinting at whether heâs pleased or not.
you shrug. âjustâŚfelt like it,â you try to sound sultry and seductive, letting him know what you want.
he stands and stares for a moment before shaking himself out of the trance, walking over to grab a pair of black boxer briefs from his suitcase, dropping the towel and sliding them up his legs before you can even appreciate his bare ass on display.
âdid you find anywhere thatâs still open and sounds good? mâstarving,â he asks you, not bothering to put sweats or a shirt on.
ânot yetâŚdidnât know if maybe you wanted somethingâŚsweeter to eat,â you roll over, spreading your legs slightly, giving him a glimpse of your damp pussy.
he sighs out, closing his eyes and pinching his nose while tilting his head up. your embarrassment creeps back in, picking up that he clearly doesnât want to do this tonight.
you sit up, tugging his jersey down to cover yourself, cheeks flushed and eyes stinging with oncoming tears you will yourself not to drop.
âs-sorry. iâllâŚuhâŚgo look up some menus on my phone,â you whisper out, not meeting his eyes as you stand.
you donât see the way his eyes snap open to look at you, the embarrassed and dejected tone causing alarms to go off in his head.
he reaches out and grabs your arm as you try to walk past him, stopping you in your tracks. placing both hands on your biceps under his jersey, he turns your body to face his, a soft âlook at me,â forcing your attention to his face.
he brings a hand up to push a strand of hair out of your face, letting his hand trail down your face before finding its previous spot on your arm.
âmâsorry, didnât mean to embarrass you. sâjustâŚnot this time,â he tells you, squeezing the soft flesh of your arms.
you nod, but you need to know if itâs you, or if heâs just really not in the mood. âwasâŚ,â you trail off, not knowing if you can handle the answer if itâs not in your favor. âwas the jersey too much? just thought, i donât knowâŚyou always say how much you like seeing me in them, and figured youâd need someâŚstress relief after tonight, soâŚâ you leave the sentence open ended, assuming he understands what youâre not saying.
he chuckles out a dry laugh. âbaby, i love seeing you in my jerseys so much, you have no idea,â he lets his gaze travel down to the way your body is swallowed by the black fabric. âbut, i donât trust myself with you tonight,â he confesses, looking back up at your surprised face.
âquinn, i trust you. i do. i know youâd never go too far, or do anything i wasnât comfortable with,â you rush out, your hands flying up to grip both of his forearms.
he shakes his head, letting it drop. sweetheart, you have no idea how much iâd love to have my way with you tonight, but iâm so pissed off. so mad at how tonight went. and the fact the team acted like they didnât even need me?â you can see his eyes darkening the longer he talks, his grip on your arms tightening with each word. âcanât promise what would happen. how rough iâd be. donât want to hurt you, or worse, scare you off,â he snaps out of his little trance, his grip loosening, but not before you whimpered at the burning squeeze.
itâs your turn to shake your head at him, hands leaning his arms to touch his face.
âq, please, i promise you wonât scare me off, or hurt me. i know my limits, and so do you. i trust you. trust yourself,â you plead with him.
you can tell heâs thinking it over, watching the conversation heâs having with himself in his head.
âi-are you sure?â he asks, looking into your eyes for any sign of doubt.
âuse me,â is all you say in response, leaning up on the tips of your toes to whisper the words in his ear seductively. for good measure, you lick a stripe from his ear down his jaw and to the base of his throat.
the growl that erupts from where your tongue was just exploring is carnal, shoving you back from his body towards the bed. the force catches you off guard, falling onto your back on the plush surface.
he walks the short steps towards you, hovering over you. âtell me to stop at any time, okay?â he speaks softly, but with meaning, wanting you to know youâre still the one whoâs really in control here.
you nod, sighing out a âokay,â as he rests a large hand on your thigh, sliding it all the way up to your chest, bringing the jersey with it.
he teasingly pinches a nipple, earning a moan from you as you arch your back into the sensation. he looks down at your face, loving how desperate you already are for him.
âremember, you asked for this,â he reminds you, causing your breath to hitch in your throat at the hungry, dark look on his face.
âsure did,â you think to yourself, knowing if last time was anything to go off of, tonight, coming off of an ejection rather than a simple minor penalty, you were in for a treat.

Thanks for the tag!
The most interesting thing about me, I don't know
I mean, I literally threw myself out of my crib at two and landed flat on my head and somehow nothing happened to me
I turned yellow a day after being home from the hospital when I was born and they had to leave me there again for a week.
And my mother wanted to name me after my grandma who was dying of cancer, my grandma basically begged her not to do that because she said that would be bad luck for me and my mother ignored her and ended up naming me like my grandma, and now she doesn't accept I want to change my name.
I had a classmate of mine become my stalker for some years, he would even send other kids to give me encrypted messages, he found my mobile number somehow when I got my first mobile and everything. But nobody would believe the lies he told about me because even the people who had beef with me for some reason knew I hated social interaction and was too unbothered to do anything he said I was doing.
One of my besties in highschool and I were both huge mythology nerds and we thought that was normal so we didn't suspect we both were neuro divergent and since we were both going through puberty we didn't realise we were experiencing gender dysphoria because we thought since the other also experienced it it must be normalđ
A college classmate clocked me as autistic on our first interaction when I wasn't even aware I was and he just blurted out "well, since you're autistic" in a conversation one day, I found that really funny. He was also the same guy who told me "should I act surprised?" When I told him I was agender đ
I find those things really entertaining, don't know how interesting people find them.

ăťăăGamer Ellie Headcannons ăťďź
NSFW CONTENT BELOW, MDNI
â§.* Gamer Ellie wears those plaid boxer-shorts around the house adorned with some random t-shirt she often sleeps in. When she's out and about, she loves her classic flannel or white wife-beaters, sports bra peeking out of the fabric when she moves just ever so slightly. Converse and doc-martins all the way. You'll beg her not to wear it in public, but Ellie's got this one black Call of Duty t-shirt that is she is obsessed with.
â§.* Gamer Ellie ismore introverted than anything. She likes staying inside with you and watching movies with you rather than going on restaurant dates. Speaking of movies, gamer Ellie would be more into comedy and sci-fi than anything. I've mentioned in previous headcannons Ellie would be a huge Jurassic park fan, but some other movie / shows she'd be begging you to watch with her are Airplane, Star Trek, and Pulp Fiction. Anything with action or on her level of dumb humor, and Star Trek for when she's geeking out. It's her guilty pleasure.
â§.* Gamer Ellie's favorite type of physical touch is having your fingers running through her hair. She likes to feels your touch in such a light, vulnerable way. Sometimes when she's playing a game, you'll approach her from behind and massage her scalp with your sweet touch. "Babe, you're distracting me!" She'll complain with a dramatic but playful groan, but her freckled face will melt like ice on a hot day from your touch.
â§.* Gamer Ellie isn't good at multi-tasking. She loves having you all up in her lap while her fingers are punching keys, but she always seems to lose when you're touching her, let alone near her. Why? Her thoughts are filled with the night before when the two of you were about to fall asleep, giggling in bed about some video on your phone, and specifically she's thinking about when you forgot all about sleep and had a late-night make-out session with some 90's movie tuned out on the television. It's so hard to remember to reload her virtual AR when all she's feeling is the way your warm fingers slid down her back and how your breathing turned into soft pants when she got all greedy and latched her filthy mouth onto your neck. Still, she'd never tell you to get off of her lap so she could focus. You were worth every aggravating respawn.
â§.* Gamer Ellie, in bed, isn't some huge dommy-mommy or whatever you're thinking. She's really touchy, sure. But she's honestly just your average lesbian who is absolutely obsessed with her girl, and she blanks at time. You'll be on top of her, and she's got this cave-woman aura going where she's just staring at your pretty face, focused on chasing your lips for a kiss. Her hands are awkwardly perched on her sides because she forgets how to even touch you: you're such a fucking goddess, and she's kind of a loser. You're a savior, though; guiding her hands to your waist with a sweet, patient smile. Ellie will get the cue and her fingers will spread across your waist to the top of your hips, and she remembers how desperate she is. (This one was inspired by me with my gf, you're so real gamer Ellie)
â§.* Gamer Ellie is also a switch! If you want her to be the top, she'll do it, but like I said she's going to be all cute and embarrassed about it. She'll be eating you out and her thoughts will be going at 100 miles per hour: "Am I doing this right?" "She's moaning Ellie, stop overthinking it." And sometimes the only thought she can really be having is "I love pussy." Cute. When she's bottom, which is most of the time, she isn't really all submissive and whiney but more like, defensively flustered like how she got with Dina when Dina threatened to bite her on the couch. Gay panic type of bottom. She does get pretty loud when you use a vibrator on her, though. That's a personal favorite in the bedroom.
â§.* Gamer Ellie did have a Fortnite phase. She hates talking about it but she spent like an ungodly amount on the stupidest skins. She used to make you watch her play at first, and then it was you having to create a whole Epic account so you could be her duo. Ellie's favorite season? Chapter two season seven. Why? Aliens. She got the battle pass and unlocked the alien skins, too. A little after she got super obsessed with it, like yelling at some 12 year old boy telling him his mother wishes she swallowed him, she moved on to a game that wasn't making her yell at at her screen. You were thankful.
â§.* Gamer Ellie is a huge night owl. While your sleep schedule is pretty average, she will blink and it'll be four in the morning. She'll groan and pop her back before stripping down to underwear and a t-shirt and then crash on your shared bed, making you stir from your rest. She sleepily curls her body into yours, peppering the warmest smooches wherever(probably with her eyes closed or half-way, at least) and muttering out apologies for waking you in the most ethereal voice known to woman-kind (it's raspy and the one she uses during sex when she's attempting to be a good top).
A/N: Thank you everyone for over 500 followers! I hope to post some longer fics this week or at least some more arcane fics. I promised some Jinx content, hopefully that'll be soon. Love you all.

The absolute undertones of yearning this session between Gem and Pearl.
Peal comes back again and again to Gem, so many of her actions and motivations are emotionally charged towards Gem because she literally can't get her out of her head. It's always "How much do you hate me today Gem?" this or "Hey Impulse, murder camel? Because apperantly Gem doesn't like me this season..." that. She literally trailed after Gem like a dog to a bone so much this session it's insane.
And Gem? Gem is even worse. She holds Pearl to this standard she doesn't hold anyone else to, because she actually really fucking cares about Pearl, because she's the one person she cares about enough to want to hold accountable.
Because Gem believes in Pearl, and she very visibly wants her back, but not until she's "earned it" in her eyes. You can tell in the way she agrees to the 1v1 even when it's no benefit to her, when she goes "My poor Red Pearl" even though Pearl isn't Red, she wants to go back to that past, back how things were before Pearl turned against Gem.
They are such fucking disasters, can't wait for next session.
#Gods they make me insane#I was kicking and squealing like a lil girl bcs murder is their way of flirting bUT THEY HAVEN'T MURDERED EACH OTHER YET#pearlescentmoon#geminitay#gempearl#shiny duo#pearleo#wild life smp#life smp#wlsmp

okay so very long thinkpiece about meljay and jayce' treatment of mel / the writers treatment of mel and how i think that all things considered she hasnt really won as much as we think she did
the thing about this that makes me so mad or rather sad (both, actually) is that we learn in season 1 how mel was brought up, that she didn't get to be soft and kind, that her surroundings were hard and rough just like her mother was, that love isn't a thing she knows like that especially not in relation to vulnerability. now if you think about media in general there is a pattern we know. the black woman is always the strong woman, the independent woman, the woman who doesnt get to be vulnerable bc of the first two points. so here comes this man she's trying to use not just for her own endeavors but for the good of piltover, clearly having a different mindset than her mother, and he cracks her open just like that. he's vulnerable with her and he lets her be vulnerable with him and it allows this woman this kind of vulnerability that she was never allowed to feel. she feels and she loves and there is someone who holds her and looks out for her when things go bad. he is his first thought after the bombing and hes so loving and endearing unlike her mother who is concerned, of course, but straight back to business too. and oh what a lovely thing that was to watch as a black woman who to this day still doesn't get to see this as often as we really should
so mel gets to experience something she hasnt before and you can tell it means something to her because when she gets back in act 3 the first reaction to him is an excited, hopeful one.
this is the man she cares deeply for and it is also the man who shes comforted before many times. something she needs in those very confusing times too. something she might be looking out for. something she might hope to get herself. some comforting after what shes been through for months. someone to share what is going on with her and how confusing it is to find out all those lies and secrets about herself.
until she notices how changed he is, how different he looks, so instantly she is worried. of course! who wouldnt be! she very likely didnt even know he was missing since its the first time we see her back in the city so she must've assumed he has been here and well for the whole time being (does she even know how long its been?) but it isnt fine as we know. she puts herself second! immediately! (and rewatching that scene now it actually makes me mad how she does that. and how anyone can question any of her feelings for him when shes immediately all jayce. or how in general people think shes only interested in her own goals) she asks this man who has shown her to be vulnerable around him and it BEING FINE, what happened, shes opening herself up to him, again, over and over, and he not only tells her it doesnt matter (what happened to him) but TURNS HIS BACK ON HER. he is literally shutting her off. he is saying with his body she does not get to do that. and for someone who has grown up like this, with a mother cutting off any kind of displays of weakness, this must be a familiar feeling, something that goes off like a bell
but she still tries! she still tries! she sees something is wrong but she tries to get comfort anyway, because this is jayce, right, this is the man she cares for deeply, the man who has opened this door for her and the door she's let herself through, the man who has always had compassion for her. of course she tries again. why wouldn't she? so she starts that something has happened to her but he doesn't even let her tell him what happened (actually it makes me so mad seeing this again and how crazy hostile he is towards her, its like im looking at the mel hating part of arcanetwt and him repeating beat for beat what theyve been saying for years) he doesnt give her room to speak, just takes it for himself, prioritizing himself and his own feelings. and, yes, figuring out the bombing thing and wanting to talk about it is valid and i think in general this could've been a great angsty way to deal with this topic IF they would've had the opportunity to talk this out properly but what happens instead is that the man that makes mel feel safe starts INTERROGATING her like she is a criminal that should be held for trial FOR SAVING HIM something she doesnt even undestand herself. and suddenly she is in a whole different position and i think by now she knows that this kind of compassion and understanding and room for vulnerability isn't part of their conversation anymore
she loses her composure and that of course isnt a first because she has started to be less put together around him, allowing her more room to "sway" but this kind of destruction is a different one because she feels at trial, feels cornered, feels like she has to explain herself but - and thats what is important - isnt heard. and i think that is something she knows very well, something shes grown up with, trying to explain herself and not being heard.
all of that happens while he is, mind you, still holding onto that hammer. something she surely notices too. the man who's usually quick to let down his defences around her, who isnt councilor talis or mister talis but just jayce around her, is holding onto that hammer like shes a threat. so he tells her he thinks shes lying and she asks him why he would think she'd do that, obviously, because her understanding of their relationship and their trust is a different one than his or at least this jayce that has come back from the arcane, because clearly this kind of understanding comes from somewhere and it comes from the times they've spent together alone throughout season 1 and a little in the beginning of season 2.
he throws at her that shes been using him, something that surprises her, because clearly she doesnt know what has happened, but she tries to explain anyway, because she doesnt know what has happened at least not in full (as you can tell by her reaction to viktor appearing, sensing the hostile mood between both, but also the way she reacts when viktor mentions the noxians intentions), and you can see that these thoughts of his are a result of months in the arcane alone with them and imagining conversations over conversations (although for me its still hard to understand how he grew that hostile towards her this quickly as if she were responsible for everything that happened but those are thoughts for a different post). he crashes out during that conversation, his face is warped with hatred and that is. all. for. her. to. see. and then BOOM goes the hammer off. mid conversation. a conversation that should feel safe with a man she should feel safe with but none of that is there. there is no space for her. (and yes i know hes aiming at viktors puppet but that isnt somethng mel is aware in that moment)
it all leads up to a fight and eventually they walk together and he apologizes, although very distantly and without much explanation, and despite it all, despite having good reasons to shut off and not share what she's feeling, she does. she talks to him about what is on her mind and they have a short, bittersweet exchange but it's just nowhere to what they've established in the first season. as a shipper of course that is super frustrating, but as a mel fan it's just sad to see that the person she felt safe enough to seek comfort in is just so closed off. but not only that, it's obvious they're parting ways and it's very obvious this is coming from his side and i think that is also why she so wilingly accepts it. she doesn't fight much back throughout their whole fight earlier either, she tries to explain herself, but doesnt demand that room for herself even though in this relationship she should be able to take just as much room for herself and her feelings as he does, but she doesn't. she just lets it happen and i understand it bc you have this man you trust and probably love and his first reaction to you is hostile when hostile has never been a response to her. he made a complete u-turn and of course that's off putting, maybe even scary, of course it shuts her down, makes someone who's so good with words and fighting just try to cause as little damage as possible because that is how she's grown up, isn't it?
and that is why i am sad about this. she learned that love doesnt have to look like her mothers and that being vulnerable isnt a weakness and its his doing but here she is met by this kind of hostility she only knows from noxus and it hurts even more that it COMES FROM HIM and over something as SAVING HIS LIFE when its clearly was an act out of love and not investment bc if i'd would've been just that than she would've saved viktor as well? but it wasnt about that. it was her subconscious making a decision and it was something her mother would describe as an act of weakness (theres a reason she gets renni to attack him bc she sees how fond mel of him is maybe even because shes been fond of a man herself once and she knows what itll do) and i think the worst part about it is that she doesnt ever get to truly articulate this or anything else and now that jayce is gone (dead? in a stone? who knows?) she won't get to ever probably. she won't get to say what she thinks and explain herself truly and she won't have anyone to confide in, to be comforted by or comfort. elora is dead, kino wasn't real and the real one is actually dead too, jayce is well whatever he is, and her mother died in her arms. yes, mel is a mage and that is fucking awesome and i was so happy to see her go off and get so many spotlights in battle, but shes also so fucking tragic actually. because here she is with a fuck ton of weight on her shoulders, the noxian army looking up to her, the whole name, not knowing who her father is or what any of her powers mean, the whole black rose thing, everything unresolved between her and jayce, the death of the people she loves, and shes all alone with it. shes all alone with it and she gets no one. man im just fucking sad that this woman got a glimpse of what it could be like to be loved and have someone to "come home to" just for her to have literally no one left like why do you hate black women so much why cant they get a fucking good ending and why cant they be fucking loved even when things get hard
also im lowkey mad that jayce got to find comfort in her lap so many times and not once did she get that in return, not even a squeeze of her shoulder, but dont let me get started on that....

*french writer, i apologize in advance for my awful english!
AGE: 27 years old
âWhere are you going?â Baekhyun asks, stretching as you get out of bed and grab all of your clothes. It was late but you hate sleeping in another bed than yours.
âI should go home.â You simply say, pulling on your panties and jeans as the younger man whines, flipping on his back.
âOh, come on, Y/N, stay the night.â He suggests as you shake your head with an apologetic smile while putting your bra on.
âHyesun is getting married, tomorrow. I need to get up early,â You explain, but it was an excuse. You donât want to be more than intimate enough with anyone.
Once fully clothed, you grab your keys and turn to look at the man still laying completely naked in bed. âIâll see you on Monday.â
âAight, boss,â He teases making you roll your eyes. âOne last kiss?â
âBye,â You smile closing the door of his room, hearing him laugh before making your way out of his apartment.
Once in your car, you sigh, leaning on your seat as you stare at the ceiling. Eleven pm already, and tomorrowâs list kept growing in your mind.
Your way home was silent, you didnât even put music on, mentally listing all the tasks to do tomorrow morning. Drive Hyesun to the hairstylist, make sure that the flowers are delivered, get her dress, and a lot more.
The house should already be decorated by now. Hyesun was getting married at her in-lawâs house. They have a big yard and suggested to make the reception in there. Since you couldnât be here to help today, you ended up with the stressful tasks tomorrow. Her friends arenât yours.
Yes, you still have a small circle of friends in common, but Hyesun was a sunshine and most of all: an extrovert. She met her husband by boldly asking his number at a coffee shop where he was working, five years ago. Something you could never. Thatâs probably why youâre still single and sheâs getting married.
Kicking your shoes off at your front door, youâre greeted by your cat. He was a little terror. Or a demon like Namjoon loves to call him. And you canât blame your friend. Not only was Trash a black cat with only one ear, the other got cut off. You donât know how.
He was already like that when you adopted him. He was skinny and really ugly when you first got him. Well... heâs still ugly, but now heâs well-fed, maybe too much, you chuckle as you kneel to scratch the top of his head. But he was also a tiny demon who attacked everyone who dared to visit you.
âDid you miss me?â You coo as the black cat let out a meow husky enough to let you think that he smokes too many cigarettes. Heâs not a loud cat, he occasionally meows when heâs hungry or when you come home after a long day.
As you make your way to the kitchen, the fat cat follows you. Opening the fridge, you take out a bottle of water and gives him a treat. Your eyes fall on the dress youâll wear tomorrow, hanged at the bedroom door.
The wedding theme was midnight sky. So, obviously, your dress is navy blue and long enough to end at your ankles with a slit on the right side. You didnât choose it, Hyesun did.
Palming your face, you take a sip of your water and walk to your bedroom. You need a shower. You could still smell Baekhyunâs cheap cologne on your skin. And you hate it. Too used to your own scent. Not of any men anymore.
The wedding was beautiful, but you didnât expect less from your best friend. And she was gorgeous in her wedding dress. She smiles a lot, but you never see her smile that way. And all you could think was that her jaw muscles probably hurt after four hours.
âNo, what I want, is a whole butterfly starting from my shoulders to my ribs,â Your friend, Hwan explains to you as she flips to show her bare back. You canât help but scoff, taking a sip of your wine.
âWhy? You want to become a fairy or something?â You ask arching a brow as she turns to face you, frowning.
âDonât make fun of me,â Hwan pouts, folding her arms under her chest, âI saw it on Pinterest, I totally fell in love with it.â
âA tattoo is for life, you know?â You sigh, finishing your glass before tilting your head to brush your fingers on her back, right where her ribs are. âAnd this part is sensitive. Itâll hurt like hell.â
Hwan shivers at your touch, and you chuckle. You know her. She wants a tattoo today, a piercing tomorrow and in two weeks sheâll regret both. The red head -a dye she did without a second thought- rolls her eyes.
âAnd you think I canât handle the pain?â She asks with an attitude, a tone that makes you pinch her forearm as she squirms and step back. âAre you crazy?â
âYou canât handle the pain, Hwan.â You conclude while she rubs the part that start to turn red.
âYouâre the worst tattoo artist I know. Iâll give you a bad review on Google.â She groans as you smirk and stick your tongueâs out at her, making her smile amused by you.
Your eyes scan the room full of guests you donât know before a huge smile spread on your lips as you notice the man all alone. He was sipping his glass of whisky as he looks at his phone, feigning to be interested but heâs probably scrolling emptily. You know him. He hates when people try to connect with him.
Excusing yourself from Hwan and the other girls, you make your way to your friend, too busy on his phone to see you coming.
âYoongs,â You call him once youâre a few steps closer to him, he lifts his cat eyes from his screen before offering you a slight smirk and opening his arms as you nestle against his chest. Youâre not really touchy, but with Yoongi, it was different.
âNice dress.â He simply says, his nose in your hair before you pull back to look at him. He looks nice too. His hair is longer, but it suits him.
âYou didnât cut your hair?â You ask as he sighs, rolling a strand between his finger as you keep an arm around his waist.
âDidnât have the time for it.â, He mumbles taking another sip of his whisky. âI didnât know you would be here. Since you own a tattoo shop, we donât see you often anymore.â
âItâs my best friendâs wedding, I couldnât miss it. She would have dragged my ass back here.â you chuckle making him smile and nod.
âThat sounds like Hyesun,â He jokes as you smile.
Yoongi wasnât that tall, but he was still everyoneâs type. Calm, mysterious, and good looking. If only dating was on his plans. That guy will probably stay single his whole life, too focused on his work.
âI was looking for you everywhere!â Hyesun groans grabbing your arm.
âI was here,â You simply reply, raising your shoulders, making Yoongi looks at you both amused. You probably get along because youâre both sarcastic. At least you know thatâs something he likes about you.
âThanks Sherlock, Mystery solved!â She rolls her eyes, before pulling you away from your friend, âCome on, follow me, I want to take pictures with you.â
She quickly waves at Yoongi, blowing a kiss at him as he didnât move before pushing you away.
âHeâs like a good old wine. Every time I see him, heâs getting hotter.â She smirks as you make your way to the photographer.
âArenât you married?â You joke making her roll her eyes.
âMarried, not blind. As long as I touch with my eyes,â She adds as you shake your head, laughing, joining the girls.
Yoongi leaves his empty glass on the table next to him, an amused smirk on his face. If you stayed longer, he would have been part of an interesting reunion.
âShit, I almost peed myself. There is a whole queue at the male bathroom,â The younger man groans, coming back next to Yoongi as he takes back his beer. âHyung?â
The older man turns to his friend and arches a brow to show that heâs listening.
âHyesun told me that there was a private bathroom upstairs for the closest friendsâ Yoongi simply mumbles, making Jungkook groans as he ties his hair into a bun.
âAnd you tell me only now?â the tattooed man sighs as he pulls up his sleeves, the temperature of the room getting hotter. Or maybe itâs him from running here and there.
âYou left without a word,â Yoongi shrugs like it was obvious, his eyes still on the group of girls making funny faces at the camera. Jungkook lets out a chuckle.
âWhich one?â He asks his friend who simply arches a brow. âIâm sure itâs the red head. You always had a think for girls with weird hair colors.â
Yoongi didnât say anything. Heâs used to the teasing. Itâs a loss of energy, Jungkook was competitive and if you say that the sky was blue, he would tell otherwise until you tell him he's right.
Jungkook smiles proudly, turning his attention to the bunch of girls. Hyesun had pretty friends, but heâs not surprised. Until he recognized a face. A face he knows too well, a face he loved deeply once upon a time.
You didnât change. Well⌠Your hair is shorter. You never liked your hair short, not after your mother spent your childhood cutting it into a bob.
The bangs too. You hated them. But today, you wore it gracefully. His doe eyes trail the length of it, how it brushes your shoulders when you laugh, how you have to push your bang asides.
He never hated you. Even after you broke his heart. Even after coming home to an empty apartment because you disappeared, or when you blocked his number and changed yours. He never hated you.
âYou said she wasnât here.â He frowns, turning to Yoongi who simply arches a brow.
âShe wasnât supposed to.â Yoongi replies, taking a sip of his new glass.
âI shouldnât have come.â Jungkook sighs, his brows still in a frown creating a slight wrinkle between them.
âKookie,â Yoongi turns his gaze to his friend whoâs clearly uncomfortable. âYouâre back in town. You both have the same friends group. What did you expect? Youâll have to confront her one day or another.â
âY/N,â Hwan calls you as you were taking another glass of wine, facing her with a small hm? âThe guy you talked earlier,â
âYoongi?â
âYeah, something like that. Do you know his friend?â She asks as you follow her gaze to the large man next to Yoongi, his back facing you. You liked the tattoos, and the muscular frame. The long hair was clearly a bonus.
âNo,â You reply, your eyes trailing on Yoongiâs friend. Youâll definitely ask Yoongi who that is later.
âHeâs hot,â Hwan comments as you nod, taking a sip of your wine before spitting everything out. You cough when the mysterious man turns around, laughing with your friend.
And almost immediately, you hide behind the table that separates you. Was this a joke?
âWhatâs wrong? One of your one-night stands?â Hwan chuckles clearly amused to see you, on your knees, trying to hide under the table. If only you could be sucked up by the floor. It was stupid. It was an old story. Itâs been seven years since you dumped him like an old, forgotten sock.
âItâs my ex,â You almost whisper, making Hwan wide her eyes and hide with you like she even met him before.
You never thought that youâll see him again. He disappeared for Japan right after your breakup for his studies. And you didnât think about him since then. Well, itâs a lie.
You thought about him the three first years after your split. But, he was just some old memories from the shoebox under your bed.Â
Some love letters written by a teenage boy, an empty bottle of perfume and a shirt of his that you didnât have the heart to throw. But thatâs all he was. A shoebox of memories.
âOh damn,â Hwan murmurs, âHow did you get that hot piece of man?â She asks as you roll your eyes.
He wasnât that hot when you started dating him. He had a chestnut haircut, was too skinny even if he was the sporty type, and huge doe eyes. Now heâsâŚ. a man.
âI think⌠I need to get outâ, You swallow, get up and finish your glass. Walking to the backyard, you catch a bottle on your way.
Thankfully, Hwan didnât follow you. A few persons were outside, some of them making out, the others too drunk, and probably getting some fresh air like you.
Did Hyesun invite him? Why did he come? He knows that sheâs your friend. That youâd be here. Palming your face, you lean back against the wall, taking a sip of your bottle of champagne. Fuck⌠This is childish. Youâre twenty-seven, for Godâs sake. Act like an adult.
âHiding?â You heard on your right, making you almost jump.
And here he was, a few meters away, a bottle of beer in hand. His eyes changed. He grew up.
âGood evening, Jungkook,â You breathe as he offers you a slight smile, his lips mostly forming a line.
âGood evening, Y/N,â He replies, making a few steps closer, âLong time no see.â
âYeah...â
A silence falls between you before he takes a breath like he wants to calm his nerves too. Were you two nervous around each other?
âHow⌠have you been?â He asks with a soft voice.
âGood. You?â
âGood.â
âNice.â
You wanted to punch yourself. That conversation was stupid. Back then, you two could debate about everything for hours. Now, you canât even have a basic conversation.
âI⌠Didnât know you were back.â You say, looking at the grass at your feet.
âYeah⌠I- I missed Korea.â He raises his shoulders slightly before taking a sip of his beer.
âOhâŚOkay.â You scrunch your nose and take a sip of your bottle to not look too much stupid but his lips crease in an amused smile at the bottle in your hand. Neither of you says anything. And itâs weird. âThatâs⌠some cool tattoos,â You add, trying to make the conversation as you point his entire inked sleeve with your chin.
âYeah?â He chuckles awkwardly. âI always wanted tattoos.â
âI know.â You reply, almost immediately, making him lift his gaze to you as your eyes widen. âYou- hm- You thought that Yakuza were cool.â you continue as he nods, his eyes still on you while you look away.
âYou remembered.â
You clench your jaw slightly and take another sip of champagne. You hate champagne, but you didnât read what was written on the bottle when you took it.
âYour father must be proud of you. I heard you had your own tattoo shop.â He says as your gaze soften. Jungkook and your dad were always close, he even called him âsonâ. Your father was in fact, proud of you.
âHe isâ, was all you could reply, and he nods silently before taking a deep breath.
âCan I⌠ask you a question? I need to understand somethingâ He frowns a little, turning his head to look at the backyard before finally glancing back at you. He is waiting for you to answer and you simply stare at him. âWhy did you leave me, Y/N?â
