I'd love to hear the story of the first signs that pony had FND + when he got diagnosed and the gangs initial reactions!!

The first signs for Ponyboy were the the stuttering and the loss of memory. He would forget the names of his parents or even small recent things that had happened that same day. At first the gang found it funny how he stuttered more often but it soon seemed to be more than what they first thought. Ponyboy soon started to get migraines and would stumble over his feet around the house. Darry and soda were on edge about it all but didn’t really say anything because Ponyboy hated to be perceived as weak. He didn’t go to the doctor until he collapsed at school and Darry had to come get him. 

Everyone’s reactions to the diagnosis.(also, the diagnosis would not be correct since FND was labeled as conversion disorder or even hysteria in some circumstances) 

Darry and soda responded with worry, worry for their little brother, for the backlash he would face, for the cost. Darry begged his boss to let him take extra hours even though he already worked too much. Soda tried to take off hours so he would always keep an eye on his baby brother. Darry tried to talk gently and keep his worries down but they only went higher. He because this overbearing brother who always had to know how pony was doing. He writes on his hand for what times pony has to take his meds and pain killers and has soda make sure he doesn’t take too many. Soda tries to be overly involved with pony, trying to take his mind off of everything. 

Steve feels fear. He scared of what this all could mean for pony, for his present and future life. That’s basically his kid brother. He knows how much pony loves track and the doctor said he’d probably never be able to do it again. Steve takes up any hours he can at the DX, even takes up a second job on weekends to try and make a little extra. He follows pony around at school and fights off anyone that tries anything.

TwoBit looks towards the bottle. He makes louder jokes and puts himself out there. He has this mindset that if he can be loud and annoying enough everyone will be too focused on him to remember what’s happening with Ponyboy. He also makes some jokes about pony’s cane and later his wheelchair. He gives him nicknames like “wheels” or “race car”

Johnny: he finds comfort in someone who has a similar problem as himself but then feels guilty for it. He gives advice to pony on how to do cool tricks in his wheelchair and how to properly take care of it. He also helped soda decorate pony’s cane with stickers

Dally: “ok?? And? Don’t think you’re getting anything special from me.” He then proceeds to ask Darry and Johnny how everything works and has them explain the words to him. He tries to accommodate from pony sometimes but also tries to treat him the same as before. Relentless teasing. It’s all fun and games until pony gets yellow, his service dog, and she hates him.

A while back you made a post talking about yakumo and his sensitivity to temperature and I haven't stopped thinking about it. imagine when winter comes around and yakumo becomes progressively sluggish, usually staying in the kitchen and not leaving for hours, always making something near the stove to feel a little warmth from the flames or from a little taste of the things he's making (soup probably), or him picking up the habit of bundling himself up and staying in the library to read and nap. maybe when it starts getting even colder he barely leaves his room because its too uncomfortably cold for him, and if he does he's probably looking for eiden to help him warm up, but if eidens not around he gets antsy and looks for somebody else in the mansion, but he's too shy to ask and looks at whoever with his wet eyes so they know he's cold and wants a cuddle

Now it's both Serpias and Sapnap trying their best to contain themselves, to prove themselves to Farfa. It's unfortunate that Sapnap hasn't had a strong guiding hand, too spoiled really, he can't help the keen he let's out so close to coming but desperately needs more (trained so often to take more and more, his body is craving it).

Just had to pull Tiny Tim away from a Christmas tree I'm working on because he was trying to eat the garland, and he bit the fuck out of my arm

I think akito wanting nothing to do with rui and tsukasa is entirely valid actually considering that tsukasa has like zero off switch and any time he shows up akito has a 80% chance of being pulled into some shenanigans & rui not only encourages tsukasa but also frequently sets off explosions in the school and deliberately fucks with akito. And I don’t want this to change even if he begrudgingly grows more fond of them because there is nothing funnier than tsukasa and rui showing up whenever toya and akito are together and toyas like wow it’s so great to see you (with great fondness and respect) and akito is just fucking seething internally (cannot be rude to them because it would upset toya).

the intercom goes off for ems report and oh joy it’s fx’s unit. mq is in ambulance triage and as soon as fx walks through the door with the patient mq starts berating him for a shitty report

42's tastes would probably be more varied and just... like more developed in general bc he has a man who was more than likely a Part Of The Culture helping to raise him. aaron was out on the streets of brooklyn as a kid most likely swapping diy mixtapes and buying local rap cd's with his allowance/summer job money (assuming he was born like around 1978-1980, then he was most likely on the streets in the mid 90's during the Golden Age of Hip Hop).

not to mention that for aaron to even Do What He Does as the prowler, he is still out on the streets til this day, shooting the shit with fellow neighbors and shaking hands with black market merchants. he's dapping up store owners and trying to get on local gang leaders' good sides for intel. he's making connections! he is most def still swapping music recommendations with ppl in the hood and ordering vinyls online if he can't get his hands on them in physical brick-and-mortar stores

and music seems to be a super important thing to a man like aaron. that would definitely influence miles. interesting that i haven't seen more posts mentioning that actually!
